00:00:42.880 oh nothing much man nothing much gotta get a shave in huh and shaving you use uh what do you use use
00:00:49.900 like a head blade or a regular razor yeah it's like the gillette five like the pro thing oh yeah
00:00:55.480 does it does it the one with the vibration on it no that's for the that's for the belt that's for 0.99
00:01:00.080 the butthole yeah that shit seems to work the vibration yeah i think it works for the butthole 0.90
00:01:06.240 yeah that's good tingles a little bit at the same time yeah left hand you know no uh yeah no i i 0.99
00:01:14.160 typically you know i've been wanting to do the uh like like using a fucking straight razor like the 0.97
00:01:18.880 old school butterfly razor thing i don't know if you're supposed to do that to yourself though i 0.72
00:01:22.320 think you're supposed to have someone like let somebody do that yeah i never had a straight
00:01:26.000 razor shave they're nice i had one once oh i did have one once at the at wedgewood springfield yeah
00:01:31.980 like i mean i've had it once and i used to like when i was clean shaving i used to use a straight
00:01:37.000 razor for a minute but my skin's so fucking sensitive bro mine too and so it's like i gotta 0.93
00:01:41.440 be super careful with that i can't shave against the grain or i'll fucking get ingrown 0.98
00:01:45.120 fucking hairs man same same yeah same i don't know how you guys do it with your soft beard and 1.00
00:01:51.520 shit i ain't got one of those soft beards my shit's not soft my shit's like no i'm saying 1.00
00:01:56.060 like these dudes that can shave the opposite way oh yeah i don't know i don't know how you could do 1.00
00:02:00.900 that yeah i don't know anyway well what else going on oh you know you know i wanted to bring this up i
00:02:07.200 saw this we got this email i was uh checking through some of the questions and submissions and
00:02:11.000 stuff and i thought this was pretty cool um we had a email response this isn't really a question
00:02:15.640 just feedback um i'll pull it up here on the screen for you though uh this email comes from uh
00:02:22.260 bert deweese bert in house burton house from topeka kansas he says uh andy i've been following your show
00:02:30.920 for the past year and thoroughly enjoy each episode on yesterday's episode you were talking about morgan
00:02:37.040 wallen's situation and that he was probably drinking ultra you had mentioned milwaukee's best
00:02:41.960 as the beast and that would have tore him up it would have killed him back in high school we drank
00:02:48.120 the beast as our go-to so we made our senior shirts to honor this i have a top attached a picture for
00:02:54.140 you let me know what you think here's a picture of bert's senior oh man that's gang paraphernalia 0.97
00:03:01.580 right there i can promise you that those group of dudes beat people's asses i think that just goes
00:03:06.680 to show how much of a difference high school has come yeah there's no way i could have had that as 0.99
00:03:12.240 a fucking senior shirt no now they're cutting off their wieners and now exactly yeah exactly bro i'm 0.98
00:03:16.860 gonna tell you right now that's a pretty clean shirt it's cool yeah i like it beast masters i'm glad i'm 0.99
00:03:22.080 not the only one that fucking you know the problem with with drinking milwaukee's beast is twofold 0.99
00:03:28.080 you do become the beast master because you you your standards get pretty low yeah you know what 0.99
00:03:33.120 i'm saying and uh you master the beast for real yeah that's right you know it's the end of the
00:03:37.900 night you know what i'm saying the beasts are the beasts are last one left is still breathing
00:03:42.520 you gotta be the beast master yeah i get it that's trying not to play that game you know i'm saying
00:03:47.160 but like we've all been there well you speak for yourself i've witnessed it i've heard of it 1.00
00:03:55.200 yeah you got a friend right that's right yeah motherfucker couple friends i can fucking say 0.98
00:04:00.140 their names too but i ain't because i'm not that kind of friend but so so so they were definitely 0.99
00:04:05.840 taming some beasts but the other thing is that we know they were extremely violent this is a gang
00:04:12.180 you want to stay away from because there's levels to this there's levels to the beer there's levels to
00:04:18.320 beer and violence correlation what's the hot what's the what's the list what's well it goes like
00:04:22.700 all right like bud light miller light coors light right that's like the baseline it's basic level like
00:04:29.320 a regular you know you might yell at someone or whatever right but it's not gonna get crazy
00:04:36.240 right okay then you got bush all right and bush you're definitely beating up your girlfriend 1.00
00:04:44.140 right so you should stay away from bush it's got corn alcohol in it anybody that drinks bush 1.00
00:04:51.960 is that a malt beer i don't know just i'm telling you it makes you fucking crazy 0.98
00:04:57.420 then you got above that you got mountain dew all right 0.99
00:05:02.260 right how the fuck does it just does okay all right that's the rules okay and then that's where 0.76
00:05:10.320 mountain dew is like about this high right uh-huh but lights down here right bush in the middle 0.96
00:05:15.480 but heavies i'm sure somewhere in there yeah but light or but weiser's a little below bush right
00:05:20.040 but mountain dew is a pretty significant jump and then you got way the fuck up here you got beastmaster 0.99
00:05:27.560 all right you got milwaukee's best yeah every time i ever drank milwaukee's best i beat someone's ass or 0.99
00:05:35.060 i got my ass beat oh man most of the time it was getting my ass beat okay because i would talk 0.99
00:05:40.000 shit to like 40 dudes because that's how dude you think you're the beastmaster bro you think you 0.99
00:05:46.340 could take on the world and it just ain't true that ain't how we ask me how i know 1.00
00:05:49.940 sweet man well that's a cool yeah that is obviously a mean son i wouldn't fuck with that guy 1.00
00:05:57.900 yeah no burt burt you up burt do you still drink the beast burt burt is a bad motherfucker 1.00
00:06:04.020 that's a fucking fact well because if he can't beat people up he could take a beating that's true 0.99
00:06:10.400 yeah that's true that's true yeah all right that's a burt badass burt from kansas there's always there's 0.99
00:06:18.940 at least one in kansas and it's burt that's what we know for sure that's right sweet man well let's
00:06:24.740 make some people better yeah we got some good good questions here for you guys uh let's dive into
00:06:30.040 these andy guys question number one andy uh i'm 20 years old and about to start climbing that
00:06:36.640 entrepreneur ladder my question is what were some expectations you had of entrepreneurship that you
00:06:43.220 got right what did you get absolutely wrong and what were the uh what were some things that threw
00:06:49.180 you completely off guard oh man that's such a deep question it's a good question um
00:06:56.280 like most people i believe that it was going to be pretty easy i thought when we started our business
00:07:04.520 that in a two or three years because when you start a business people will tell you this it's a pretty
00:07:09.700 standard thing they'll say it takes three years to start making money and remember i grew up in the
00:07:16.120 era before social media all right you guys now have so many amazing tools to get business that did not
00:07:22.600 exist when i started in 1999 it took 10 years for that to really get any traction um
00:07:28.440 so the internet was around right but the social media aspect and everybody using it as it exists today
00:07:37.220 was not available okay you couldn't run ads you couldn't uh geofence you couldn't 0.94
00:07:43.600 you know uh inexpensively advertise right but at the same time people still said the same shit they 0.61
00:07:49.660 said oh it'll take you three years to start making money and what i interpret that to mean was 0.99
00:07:56.760 it takes three years to be wealthy and have like lamborghinis rich yeah right and be baller and shit 0.82
00:08:02.920 and uh that was completely wrong um it's much harder it takes much longer than what people expect 0.64
00:08:13.520 and for that reason a lot of people quit uh before it actually starts to happen for them
00:08:18.800 and that's unfortunate because i see a lot of people in today's society who have never built 0.90
00:08:23.300 anything in their fucking lives telling people how easy it is and how quick it is and the problem 0.97
00:08:28.740 with that is that when those people buy into that and then they go out there and they get their face 0.99
00:08:34.660 kicked in they blame themselves they say well i must have been doing it wrong or i don't have what
00:08:40.500 it takes and that's just not true you're just not understanding the game the difference between
00:08:45.680 what it actually takes and what you think it takes for most people is almost polar opposites so you
00:08:54.020 have to reframe your expectations into how hard it's going to be and how long it's going to take
00:09:02.040 and you have to focus on building yourself into someone who can accomplish that mission someone
00:09:07.300 with grit resilience perseverance the ability to endure mental toughness okay this is why we talk
00:09:14.420 about 75 hard and live hard so much because it finally tunes your mental focus to where you
00:09:21.020 become the kind of person who can push through the inconvenient and difficult things that other
00:09:26.360 people can't and i didn't understand that in the beginning i just didn't have any other options i
00:09:31.140 didn't have any other options on anything to do so the amount of time that i thought it was going
00:09:35.480 to take and how hard i thought it was going to be i grossly underestimated all right that was my
00:09:41.060 biggest mistake um and i think it would have been a lot less frustrating had i actually known what it 0.95
00:09:47.600 was going to take but also i don't know that i would have went and did it because it was so fucking 0.96
00:09:52.820 hard you know the ignorance aspect almost kind of serves you in the beginning so my goodness you're 0.69
00:09:59.620 saying like you know we're not knowing if you were to go back to your 19 year old self and like oh
00:10:03.840 listen this is this is really what it's going to take it would have been a lot tougher thing for me to
00:10:07.660 swallow and and i don't say these things to discourage people i say these things because
00:10:12.280 it's honest truth and people need to know the path that they're choosing because the way
00:10:17.580 entrepreneurship is glorified on the internet right now is not congruent with the way it actually is 0.98
00:10:24.400 you have a lot of people out here lying to people fucking telling them bullshit who haven't built a 1.00
00:10:29.800 motherfucking thing setting expectations that aren't reality you know you got 19 year old fucking life 1.00
00:10:35.300 coaches talking about how they make 250 fucking grand a month and all this bullshit bro and when 1.00
00:10:41.020 people go out and they try to achieve things and they don't do that they they they they fucking blame 0.99
00:10:47.060 themselves and they end up quitting and then they end up just residing to the fact that like well i'm 0.89
00:10:51.420 a loser right and that's the wrong mentality so that was something that i got wrong for sure um
00:10:58.200 another thing i got wrong is i thought that everybody would support me i thought my friends i thought
00:11:04.300 my family i thought everybody would rally behind me and you know buy my products and you know all that
00:11:11.080 stuff and what i found out was that yes there was a few people that did uh there was far more people
00:11:18.100 that didn't and those people not only did they not support me did they not you know they laughed and 0.51
00:11:25.400 they joked and they talked shit to my face and when i wasn't around uh whenever they needed what we had 0.97
00:11:32.720 they wanted that as a discount they wanted it for free and that was very frustrating because we 0.99
00:11:37.280 weren't making any fucking money and we had all these people coming to us asking us for special deals 0.98
00:11:42.400 if you're truly friends with someone you buy shit at full price bro that's the reality okay i do that 0.98
00:11:48.620 with all my friends i don't take anything for free if they send me something for free i send them 0.99
00:11:53.100 something back of equal value because that's the right thing to do all right um so that's another
00:12:00.620 thing i got wrong uh you know another thing i got wrong i actually think those are the two main things
00:12:08.180 i got wrong yeah um that were the most difficult for me to process and deal with you know nobody owes you
00:12:16.200 support nobody owes you belief nobody owes you cheers and claps and celebration before you do it
00:12:25.020 it's not that's not how it works it works like this you go out you do something everybody doubts it
00:12:32.360 everybody questions it everybody says you're not going to do it because you've never done any of these
00:12:37.460 things before and likely they've observed you over the course of your life try things and quit try things
00:12:44.660 and quit try things and quit and so we have to be honest with ourselves about what we've shown the
00:12:50.700 people around us and then be honest with ourselves of what they probably believe if you've witnessed
00:12:56.560 someone quit 17 times or say they're going to lose weight 500 times on the 501st time are you going to
00:13:03.880 believe them no and so we have to be real about that and learn not to take those things as personal um but
00:13:11.480 there's also a benefit to taking them personal because it makes you have something to prove and
00:13:16.400 there's a lot of people out here who have never built anything who give out this feel good hippie 0.99
00:13:21.520 advice about oh you don't have anything to prove to anybody bullshit you got lots to fucking prove a 0.99
00:13:28.000 whole lot to prove and the minute you think you don't have anything to prove is the minute you stop 0.99
00:13:32.140 progressing it's the minute you get complacent and that's the minute that things go bad in your life 0.98
00:13:36.900 and then eventually you're looking around you're saying fuck dude why am why am i losing why is my 0.99
00:13:41.920 income bad why is my life bad because you think you made it you got comfortable and you think you 0.99
00:13:46.900 don't have anything to prove we got a whole lot of shit to prove every single one of us okay so that's 0.96
00:13:53.280 how i choose to look at it um outside of that dude i think you know the rest of the things you just 0.99
00:14:00.040 learn along the way because you're so ignorant in the beginning you don't know how it works um
00:14:05.740 and you just pick them up you you make mistakes you learn the skills and you keep going but i would
00:14:11.520 say those two things are the probably the biggest uh misconceptions that i had coming out the gate and
00:14:16.340 i think a lot of people struggle with that yeah yeah did you did you get anything right did you have
00:14:21.060 any expectations that that were right when you first started looking back
00:14:25.280 here's the other thing i got wrong um i thought i didn't i bought into the idea that most young
00:14:34.740 entrepreneurs buy into today where they're okay with selling somebody something
00:14:42.960 even if they don't know even if they know it's not the best thing for that person right they're
00:14:50.080 they're focused on themselves they're trying to make money a lot of these kids nowadays are selling 0.99
00:14:55.180 products that are total bullshit and they don't give a fuck about reputation and they don't care 1.00
00:15:01.000 about actually building relationships and that was a huge mistake because not only does it fuck your 1.00
00:15:07.000 reputation it creates a scenario where you're not building a book of loyal customers that are going
00:15:13.540 to support you so you can't ever really compound what it is you're trying to do when you look at like
00:15:19.600 your what you do as a business you have to understand that really if we're very honest about the game 0.98
00:15:28.640 we're playing we are in the customer acquisition business that's what the fuck we are doing every 0.88
00:15:34.920 single one of you every single one of you who is doing anything in business anything in your career 0.97
00:15:40.080 the answer to your problems is to acquire customers and keep them and if you imagine a bucket
00:15:46.500 and you imagine a bucket that you need to fill up with customers okay the only way to fill them up
00:15:53.560 with customers is to make sure that the bucket doesn't have any holes meaning there's no way for
00:15:58.260 them to fall out the bottom and what most people do is they create their bucket it has a bunch of holes
00:16:03.900 in the bottom like customers don't stay they don't spread word of mouth you're not actually making
00:16:09.260 them loyal so customers flow in and then they flow out the bucket and what happens is the ones that flow out
00:16:15.100 eventually start talking and they talk so much that you have a hard time putting new ones in there is
00:16:20.840 a finite amount of customers because of the speed of the word of mouth that is created with social
00:16:27.280 media all right if you get a terrible reputation it doesn't take too long for your business to fail
00:16:32.600 and this is unlike what it was like before the internet because it would take years and years and
00:16:37.400 years and years and years for the word of mouth to circulate now it takes one second all right so 0.96
00:16:43.040 like most people i was concerned with just getting people in getting them to buy my shit and then i 0.93
00:16:50.720 didn't really care and i'm just being honest that's something that a lot of young people buy into 0.90
00:16:54.900 and it wasn't until i figured out that i had to be the real deal we had to solve their problems 0.87
00:17:01.660 we had to give a fuck we had to help them produce results we had to make excellent products we had to do 0.95
00:17:08.620 all these things to plug the holes in the bottom of the bucket and then create an amazing experience 0.99
00:17:13.800 so that when we were putting people in the bucket they were staying in the bucket okay and that's
00:17:18.640 where you're going to start to gain traction so that was a massive mistake that i made uh for the first
00:17:23.640 probably eight nine years of our business as well so that was something as well now you ask if what did 0.99
00:17:28.840 i get right the one thing i got right is that i wasn't a fucking pussy okay i showed up every day 0.99
00:17:35.020 i gave it everything i had i had the grit i had the resilience i had the fortitude to stick with it 0.98
00:17:41.020 and that came from a situation of me not having any options i didn't have an option to go uh work
00:17:47.800 you know somewhere or fallback plan or uh you know inheritance or some shit i didn't have that 0.75
00:17:55.560 so i either had to make it work or i fucking wasn't going to make it and that's a beautiful blessing 0.90
00:18:01.280 for most people a lot of people when they're starting out they look around and they say well 0.87
00:18:05.580 it's not fair it's not fair that tommy has rich parents it's not fair that joey raised a whole 0.94
00:18:11.960 bunch of money it's not fucking fair blah blah blah well bro while you're standing around judging 0.99
00:18:17.180 what's fair and not fair there's other motherfuckers with harder situations than you that's less fair 1.00
00:18:22.960 situations than you have that are building and creating and overcoming and those are the people 0.70
00:18:28.640 that win and so you can't look around at fair and think that it's even relevant because it's not 0.94
00:18:34.320 shit's not fucking fair and you have to make the best of it and um that was something that you know 0.96
00:18:41.160 those are those are things that i think young people struggle with and i struggle with the same 0.99
00:18:46.400 things and that's why i put so much effort into trying recalibrate how you guys see things you know 0.86
00:18:51.100 what you see on the internet from 95 percent of the fucking people out here that are doing 0.98
00:18:56.600 entrepreneurship is bullshit they're teaching you quote unquote how to do something that they've 1.00
00:19:02.940 never fucking done all right and you guys buy it hook line and sinker over and over and over and over 0.99
00:19:08.280 and over and over and over and over again because you want to avoid the hard work and while you're 0.99
00:19:14.020 trying to avoid the hard work there's other people who are saying fuck it this is the path i gotta go on 0.99
00:19:19.680 then that's what i gotta do and they're showing up and they're showing up with balls and courage 0.98
00:19:24.600 and fortitude and discipline and showing the fuck up and getting it done and those people win and 0.81
00:19:30.120 everybody else that looks for the shortcut over and over and over and over and over again they end up
00:19:34.720 working at a bar when they're 45 years old and they can't understand why it's because you ignored the
00:19:40.780 rules of the game i didn't make the rules nobody else made the rules it's just the way it is and that's
00:19:47.380 why we say real af okay it's realist thinking it doesn't matter how i feel about the game what
00:19:55.700 matters is i play by the rules okay and the rules are that it takes time it takes effort it takes skill
00:20:03.400 and it takes your ability to not fucking quit no matter how hard it is and when other people quit 0.95
00:20:09.900 that's even more confirmation for you not to quit because now there's less people in the game 0.95
00:20:15.720 that you're competing with all right so that's something i did right the the one thing i did
00:20:21.800 right was when shit got hard i didn't fucking quit and and i actually believe that that's like 90 0.93
00:20:28.880 fucking percent of my success you know i want to i want to hit on this because i think it's important 0.97
00:20:34.280 you know you talk about how how wrong you did things you know eight almost 10 years in business yeah 0.98
00:20:40.380 looking back on it honest assessment like how close like looking at it now like how close would 0.98
00:20:46.080 you say you actually were to like i mean fuck maybe even losing the company because of how 0.95
00:20:50.360 bro operating bro most of the 10 years that we were in business the first we had like less like a 0.99
00:20:57.260 thousand dollars in the account at all times like it wasn't it was so fucking like people don't 1.00
00:21:03.040 understand like it wasn't like this shit that the shit you see on the internet is total bullshit 1.00
00:21:08.360 we were fucking bootstrapping the entire time we were fucking it was crazy it's actually crazy that 0.99
00:21:16.640 we're here honestly that's how tight it was i can't tell you how many times we had to go out and do 0.98
00:21:22.620 other things to pump cash in the business to even keep it going i mean dude i hundreds of times hundreds
00:21:29.540 of times not not a couple times right you know what i'm saying it was very common for us to do other
00:21:34.620 things for money and then pay into the business to keep it going so i don't know those that's the
00:21:41.060 thing i did right and those are the things i did wrong and uh you know the quicker you guys stop 0.62
00:21:46.660 believing in these shortcuts and stop fucking believing there's a hack around the way the faster 0.90
00:21:52.060 you're going to get where you want to go i love it i love it guys any question number two uh andy i grew 0.97
00:21:58.480 up in a very dysfunctional family where uh we were never close it's the same with my extended family
00:22:05.800 i'm not a social person and i am an introvert uh at that so my friends are few i want to start
00:22:11.560 something huge and change the world but i can't muster the energy or confidence to get out of my
00:22:17.100 head the fact that i have zero support system in this world my wife of course but you need deeper 1.00
00:22:22.340 connections than your partner um that only your family can provide i have two older brothers but they
00:22:27.700 have had their own little club for a couple of years but um before i got here and then uh they 0.97
00:22:33.240 never really let me in so the fucking question is how do you get ahead when you have zero family and 0.96
00:22:38.740 zero innate support system and are an introvert to boot it's so stressful and sometimes i'm jealous of 0.98
00:22:45.600 my wife because she has a huge colombian family and i love that about their culture the closeness of
00:22:50.440 family um if you were to give me some ideas uh you could really change my life i'm here uh well number one
00:22:56.760 your exclusion from your family is probably you doing it to yourself you're sitting here telling
00:23:07.160 yourself i'm an introvert i'm not very social i don't really get along with family well how is that
00:23:13.680 productive to having a strong family relationship to have a great relationship with anybody including
00:23:20.080 your family effort has to be made you have to invest in those relationships which means you have
00:23:25.900 to show up you have to try you have to stop thinking that everybody is mad at you or doesn't like you
00:23:32.520 or doesn't want you there those are insecurities that are keeping you from having what you really
00:23:37.340 want okay so i would be very cautious about how you label yourself in this regard all right so
00:23:45.420 start making an effort start talking to yourself differently about how you are and when you're
00:23:52.060 around these people make some strong efforts to be friends with them and contribute and call them
00:23:58.280 and check up on them you know a lot of people that talk like this they don't make any effort they think 0.55
00:24:04.340 that it's it's a lot of ego shit they think that everybody's supposed to come to them and they think 0.68
00:24:08.960 everybody that doesn't come to them doesn't like them bro it's a two-way street and a lot of you guys 0.98
00:24:14.560 put yourself in this lonely situation because you have overinflated self-importance that everybody should 0.97
00:24:20.180 reach out to you we see this shit on the internet with like the memes and shit right oh keeping keep 1.00
00:24:26.620 in mind who checks on you and who doesn't motherfucker who are you checking on right who are you fucking 1.00
00:24:31.560 checking on most of you are entitled little bitches that's why nobody wants to be around you nobody wants 1.00
00:24:37.040 to be around you because you think you're better than everybody else because you think they should 1.00
00:24:40.280 come to you and bow the fuck down so make sure that you're not doing that but i think you are 0.99
00:24:46.080 okay and uh correct that second point is is that you need to realize that you don't fucking need 0.98
00:24:55.560 anybody you other people supporting you is irrelevant to your success it's legitimately irrelevant when
00:25:03.700 we're talking about your family and friends network okay do you know what matters in success what you do
00:25:10.340 what do you do what inputs do you put in because the inputs equal the outputs okay so how can your family
00:25:19.100 not liking you how can you not having any friends deter you from making the inputs necessary to produce a 0.99
00:25:27.340 result all right if you're a farmer and your fucking family hates you and your friends hate you and you go out 0.99
00:25:34.660 and you plant seeds in the fucking field and you make sure that they get water and cultivation they're guess 0.99
00:25:40.980 what's gonna happen yeah they're gonna grow and you're gonna have a harvest and your life is the same way and you 0.99
00:25:47.100 guys get it confused you think that everybody you think you're entitled to everybody's support you think
00:25:53.820 everybody's gonna clap you think everybody's gonna cheer before you even fucking did anything where does that 0.94
00:26:00.580 happen in life people get this instant gratification from being like big plans i'm gonna i'm gonna make 0.92
00:26:08.940 this and do this and then nobody says anything and they're like oh yeah clap nobody believes in me bro you
00:26:14.140 haven't done anything yet you want to celebrate before you go and society is immune to that because so many
00:26:20.720 people do it okay so they are not going to celebrate you until after you did it because they see people not
00:26:28.520 just you every single day say i'm gonna do this i'm gonna do this watch out here i come nobody can 1.00
00:26:35.000 stop me better get out of my fucking way and then you sit your fat ass on the couch and don't do anything 1.00
00:26:39.840 so what do you think they're gonna think all right you're no you're no exception you're not a fucking 1.00
00:26:45.700 you're not except you're not excluded from the rules of the game bro it's like this for everybody who 0.99
00:26:52.000 the fuck do you think you are to get excluded from the way it is for everybody else see you do think 0.99
00:26:58.340 you're special because you think that all your family should clap and all your fucking friends 1.00
00:27:03.160 should clap and everybody should come to you and then you think that everybody should support your 0.99
00:27:07.960 business and you gotta have it and you you don't it's not reality what you need to do is put your 0.95
00:27:13.940 head to the fucking grindstone and start doing what it is you want to do and eventually you'll start 0.64
00:27:20.360 producing some results and those results might take a year they might take three years like i said 0.99
00:27:25.580 you have technology that i didn't have so you can go a lot faster but the reality of this is that when
00:27:32.120 people start to see that you're producing some results some of those people will start to support
00:27:37.660 you okay when you are undeniably great at what you do everybody who didn't support you in the beginning
00:27:45.260 will tell you how proud they are of you they'll say man i always believed in you i was always proud of
00:27:50.940 you and here's the thing when you're in that position you're gonna look at them and you're 0.99
00:27:56.020 gonna be like motherfucker you weren't here during my struggle you weren't here when i was in my fight 1.00
00:28:01.020 you weren't here when i was fucking dying to do this you didn't support me you didn't offer to help you 1.00
00:28:06.500 didn't text to check on me i don't need you and you're gonna feel very good about yourself because 0.95
00:28:11.460 you're gonna learn the reality that you are self-sufficient and you do not need anybody to help you
00:28:19.400 plant the seeds that are going to create the harvest in your life it depends on what you do 0.76
00:28:24.820 all this other shit that you're saying is legitimately irrelevant i love that let me ask you this i mean 0.94
00:28:31.540 is this an opportunity to to really turn on that that negative uh like production pivot that you talk 0.97
00:28:38.360 about right like i mean yeah this is if there was any great scenario this would be it look dude you're 0.98
00:28:43.960 supposed to take shit personally sometimes and when you get shit that makes you feel personal 0.99
00:28:49.140 about it you're supposed to take that put it into a big chip that sits right up here on your fucking 0.99
00:28:54.640 shoulder and when you don't feel like doing it when you don't feel like sending that email or getting 0.98
00:28:59.260 up and doing that workout or doing what it is you know to do that's going to move you forward 0.69
00:29:02.820 you fucking remember what they said you go line by line so and so said this so and so said this 1.00
00:29:08.980 and eventually you're going to go down the list three or four statements you're like fuck that 1.00
00:29:13.340 and you're going to get up and you're going to go do the thing all right and the negative 0.93
00:29:17.180 the dark forces the dark energy is a much more motivating energy than the positive reinforcement
00:29:25.580 anyway and a lot of people like to say oh well that's not right that's not that's not true you
00:29:31.440 should do it to prove people right not prove people wrong okay well you know show me someone
00:29:36.460 who's actually built something iconic that believes that because it takes dark energy to 0.87
00:29:44.880 be a fucking champion bro you look at kobe bryant you look at michael jordan you look at the greatest 0.95
00:29:51.080 champions of all time when they're in competition bro they look at the other guy and they're like 1.00
00:29:56.220 fuck you i'm offended you showed the fuck up i'm gonna fucking crush you now they might drink beer 1.00
00:30:01.960 after the game they might be friendly but in the level of competition it is fucking war and people 1.00
00:30:09.000 have to understand that and they think they can come in with this idealistic perspective of well 0.88
00:30:14.400 you know that's really not my style and i don't really have what it takes and you know what i'm an 0.99
00:30:19.540 introvert and you know what that's just not my bro you then you're gonna fucking lose 0.99
00:30:24.260 this the game doesn't fucking adjust itself to your preferences like how the what kind of fucking 0.99
00:30:32.100 arrogance is that so everybody in history has had to play this this go down this path and learn these 0.98
00:30:39.720 things almost identically and you're the exception and you don't like the way it is and you it's 0.98
00:30:47.080 fucking ridiculous like coming from where i'm at looking back the ego on some of these people is 0.99
00:30:53.460 fucking insane bro and they're not even aware of it they're not even aware of it yeah like how big 1.00
00:30:58.960 is your ego to think that you get a special pass around the process yeah yeah that kobe didn't get 0.98
00:31:05.100 michael nobody got it nobody gets it brady didn't get it nobody gets it yeah no nobody gets it for 1.00
00:31:09.960 sure here you go bro yeah right because you breathe air and you're born who the fuck are you 0.93
00:31:14.640 i love it i love it man guys andy our third and final question question number three uh hey andy 0.98
00:31:21.700 i have an employee who was with me in the beginning of my business when it wasn't making much she used
00:31:27.640 to complain i didn't charge enough and gave away too much free stuff now we have grown a ton we are
00:31:34.080 making more money and seeing more people than ever and i still give away free stuff all the time
00:31:39.140 she seems to have a problem with financial goals of the office and seems disgruntled anytime we are 0.67
00:31:45.880 pushing to be better and make more we highlighted patient care experience all the time but we also
00:31:51.820 have money goals we want to meet my gut says to fire her especially because i feel like um i
00:31:58.980 consistently have to protect the culture of the office from her negativity do you think that's the
00:32:04.260 right move is that the right move yeah fire right now walk into her office right now fire her if you 1.00
00:32:11.220 have to spend one fucking ounce of energy protecting the rest of your team from an individual that 0.97
00:32:16.940 person should be out of your ecosystem immediately immediately and whatever backlash that's going to 0.98
00:32:23.200 create in the short term is nothing compared to the damage that person's going to create in the long
00:32:28.360 term so yes the fact that you already are trying to protect your other people from this person you
00:32:37.020 already know what to do bro you're just asking me for confirmation yeah let me actually i mean i was
00:32:41.800 reading this i mean if she's been is do you think there is some nuance here like could it possibly be 0.98
00:32:46.860 that she actually just gives a fuck a lot of fucks about the company and doesn't want to see you know 1.00
00:32:52.300 bad decisions that could you know maybe is she seeing something he's not seeing could be possible but 0.99
00:32:57.680 what it sounds like is happening is she's upset that he's doing it his way and it's succeeding
00:33:02.760 that's what it sounds okay more so more ego you just that's what it sounds got you because like
00:33:07.640 a lot of people yeah get really upset about that right like and that's a very weak skill
00:33:12.820 or a very weak trait when it comes to being a team player it doesn't matter whose idea it is it matters
00:33:19.760 that it works all right like if you're a leader of a team and you're one of these guys that has to
00:33:25.460 have your idea be the idea every single time bro you're only going to get so far because you don't
00:33:30.920 have the brain capacity to know what to do every single time a great leader surrounds themselves
00:33:36.160 with very intelligent people that are actually hopefully more intelligent than them and then
00:33:42.480 they say what do you think we should do and then they go to the next person and they say what do you
00:33:47.060 think we should do and they go around the table and they ask you know however many people are there
00:33:51.780 five six people they said what do you think what do you think and you take all the data and then you
00:33:57.100 make a decision that is best for the team about which parts of each solution you're going to put
00:34:03.660 together to form the solution and that is the role of a leader the role of a leader is not to know the
00:34:09.340 best thing to do it's to listen and choose the best thing to do and sometimes that will be your idea
00:34:16.060 sometimes you'll listen to all the ideas and you're going to say well i think i got a better idea than
00:34:21.280 that i'm going to do this but you know that's the role of a leader and if that woman is in your office 1.00
00:34:29.320 and uh you know she's a key employee that's been with you for a long time i'm assuming that she's a
00:34:34.320 leader and it sounds like she has a trait that is unfavorable to team atmosphere which is her idea
00:34:41.280 has to be right and uh if it's not right she's upset about the problem yeah and and there's a lot of
00:34:48.300 people like that dude yeah is there some caution that he should take about you know giving away a
00:34:53.540 shit ton of free stuff is that something i mean did you have that that issue i guess early on in
00:34:59.620 business that you had to go back a little bit it depends yeah it depends you know are you getting 0.61
00:35:04.980 some sort of return is it creating goodwill are you getting word of mouth are you creating good
00:35:11.140 relationships it just depends i mean if you're just standing in the front of your place and giving 0.85
00:35:15.500 away free shit to whoever um see you later yeah that's probably not a good thing yeah but if 0.70
00:35:20.840 you're being intelligent and you're choosing situations where it would be a good idea to 0.98
00:35:26.740 contribute to things like a community golf tournament or uh maybe an influencer that you you're trading free
00:35:33.900 product for uh views and likes uh and attention those are situations where that makes sense um if you know
00:35:44.200 if you're overdoing it of course that's terrible idea like you're you can't do that yeah uh but if
00:35:49.540 they're growing it seems like they're probably not overdoing it no i think i think sampling free
00:35:54.720 product is one of the best ways to get new customers in your fucking funnel okay and every 0.99
00:36:00.420 big brand in the world does this nike gives away free shit red bull gives away free shit monster gives 1.00
00:36:06.960 away free shit you know what i'm saying tell me one company that doesn't give away free shit that's a 1.00
00:36:11.480 fucking iconic big company they do it and you can do it as a small company to bring people into your 0.99
00:36:16.820 ecosystem no different than the sample carts at costco how many times have you walked down to costco 0.99
00:36:24.500 and you saw them cook in and you get to the aisle and there's this little old lady with some really 0.95
00:36:29.580 good smelling treats and you pick a couple treats and then you're like fucking i'm getting this and 0.99
00:36:34.100 you go to the freezer and you get the shit how many times that happened oh i love those okay 1.00
00:36:37.820 yeah i know you do bro i do too the shit smells so good i'll go back with different disguises bro 0.99
00:36:42.300 you're making laps you're doing laps that's the fat guy never tried these i'll have one yeah you hope 0.99
00:36:49.300 that she doesn't see you the second time but you know that she's gonna see you the third time so
00:36:52.700 you go to a different a different aisle alex go give me two of those that's right that's right bro 1.00
00:36:56.880 i know the game i know the game listen it is what it is it's a fucking fast go have some good shit 0.97
00:37:03.300 hey man i like costco yeah costco is good um but the that's the game bro there isn't a sense of 0.98
00:37:12.320 yes there's three ways to get people into your funnel bro like real talk there's really only
00:37:17.320 three ways one is word of mouth two is advertising and three is sampling all right those three ways
00:37:23.620 are the three main basic channels to pull people in your funnel and it's a necessity to figure out how
00:37:30.320 to sample your product and if you do so strategically where you're building relationships with people who
00:37:36.360 have influence that makes a lot of sense that's how you'll grow your business so uh yeah of course 0.99
00:37:42.620 you can do that all right sweet we'll tell her fuck off yeah that's what it is i do look i it could be 0.99
00:37:48.860 all those things it could be she cares it could be she's being cautious it could be it could be it could 1.00
00:37:55.540 be but the problem is that if you feel like you have to protect the rest of the people from her
00:38:01.820 that's a massive problem that will only metastasize into a full-blown cancerous culture if you don't cut
00:38:08.800 it the fuck out so that's why i said what i said and i think you should yeah i love it man i love it 0.77
00:38:14.560 guys andy that was three yeah don't be a hoe share the show 1.00
00:38:19.540 went from sleeping on the floor now my jewelry box froze fuck a pole fuck a stove counted millions 1.00
00:38:28.680 in the code bad bitch booted swole got her on bankroll can't fold doesn't know headshot case closed 1.00
00:38:36.220 close 0.99
00:38:36.580 close
00:38:36.620 close
