00:00:00.000 What is up guys you're listening to the MF CEO project I'm Andy I'm your host and I am 0.97
00:00:14.600 the motherfucking CEO today is Friday the day after Thanksgiving and this is going to 0.94
00:00:22.120 be a little bit different of a Friday fire slash Thursday thunder type message I want 0.98
00:00:29.160 to talk to you guys about something you know we all had thanks well I didn't have Thanksgiving
00:00:37.760 yesterday we have ours on Sunday but most of you had Thanksgiving yesterday most of you ate like
00:00:42.740 wild savage animals and you know probably drank a little bit too and today you might be a little
00:00:49.840 hungover and you might be feeling pretty fat and we all know what that feels like we all know
00:00:58.380 like what it's like to feel uncomfortable and to be frustrated with you know the way we feel and
00:01:05.220 the way that we look and and I want to talk to you guys about that for a minute it's something a
00:01:10.300 little bit different that I don't address very often but I do want to address it because a a big
00:01:16.020 part of my life has to do with nutrition sports supplementation obviously with first form
00:01:20.280 B I've gone through a huge physical transformation over the last 18 months or so and I continue I'm
00:01:29.620 continuing along that path and I want to talk to you guys about how important it is for you and I'm
00:01:37.180 not going to preach to you about why you need to be fit but what I am going to preach to you about
00:01:43.640 because you know I got to preach some is that there's many many many people in this world that
00:01:54.180 will find themselves in a situation that they feel comfortable okay maybe they're making enough money
00:02:04.180 maybe they're you know in good enough shape maybe they are you know have decent personal relationships
00:02:12.120 you know they're not terrible but they're also not great and people get in this mentality and in
00:02:20.220 this routine of staying where they are being comfortable doing what they normally do because
00:02:28.700 everything else to change it would would require some sort of temporary uncomfortable situation for
00:02:37.860 them okay and you guys and in the irony of this whole entire thing is that when you stay in the comfort
00:02:47.540 zone and you avoid doing the temporary and the key word is temporary uncomfortable things you end up
00:02:56.520 in a situation that is ultimately more uncomfortable and think about that for a second every time you avoid
00:03:05.580 the gym because it's hard and you don't want to sweat and you don't want to do the work and you're
00:03:12.320 watching the walking dead on tv and every half hour you let pass before you go to the gym and then
00:03:19.620 eventually you don't go every time you do that you are taking a step towards a more uncomfortable life
00:03:27.940 every time in your career in your career in your business that you decide to take off early or put off till
00:03:37.520 tomorrow or you know wait until next time or we'll do better next time or skip the little details every
00:03:45.760 time you do that to present yourself with a more comfortable situation now you are putting yourself in a
00:03:53.740 situation that is ultimately going to make you more uncomfortable later and how this ties into what I said
00:04:01.420 about being in shape is this we all can go through the next two months six weeks eight weeks and go to
00:04:13.700 every holiday party eat like a wild savage fat pig drink like a sailor and we can all gain
00:04:23.260 15 20 pounds over the next eight weeks because and the reason I say eight weeks is because none of you
00:04:29.940 guys start on July or on January 1st like you say you're going to start you all wait a couple weeks
00:04:39.100 you get halfway through January you start some half-ass diet you do it for like a week and then you quit
00:04:45.640 and when you quit you start to tell yourself this well I got a lot going on well it's bad timing well I've been 0.99
00:05:02.900 really busy well let me tell you something there is literally millions of fucking people out there 0.90
00:05:12.860 that are getting it done they are accomplishing the things that you want to accomplish 0.99
00:05:19.620 and are busier more stressed have a harder life have more shit going on than you and this goes for any 0.97
00:05:30.880 of your goals but I'm going to use fitness as an example we all know what it's like to live like this 0.99
00:05:39.340 oh starting on Monday I'm going to get in shape and then on Monday you know by noon you've ate a 0.97
00:05:48.580 fucking ding dong and two fucking Twinkies and ordered a pizza and you're like oh well I already 0.99
00:05:53.520 blew this week so I'm going to start again on Monday and then for that next five six seven days 1.00
00:05:59.500 you literally gorge yourself because you know that next Monday is coming and you're going to start
00:06:06.620 something then and for that five or six days when you're making yourself all fat and comfortable
00:06:11.960 you're ultimately putting yourself in a more uncomfortable position because eventually you're
00:06:19.120 going to have to deal with the problem or you're going to have to live with the problem you're going
00:06:23.200 to be the person who has to climb the huge mountain that you've accumulated because every Monday or Tuesday
00:06:28.380 you go and gorge yourself because you tell yourself you're going to start again Monday and you of course
00:06:33.320 you got to get in all the good food during this time you know you got to get it in because you're
00:06:37.900 going to start on Monday and then you repeat that cycle over and over and over again until you're
00:06:42.320 50 60 70 or even 100 pounds overweight like I was or you could be the guy who does the uncomfortable
00:06:51.060 work now so that you can be you can be comfortable later and we have so many people out there that don't
00:06:57.820 understand the concept of instant gratification versus delay gratification you going to all these parties 0.99
00:07:04.020 and getting fucking fat and feeling like shit and building a mountain that you don't even want to fucking 0.99
00:07:09.120 climb because you can't even see how long it's going to take for you to get in shape 1.00
00:07:13.340 you doing that is going to create a situation of more pain later so yeah it's cool now but it's hard later
00:07:22.680 and every single thing in life works this way your business your career relationships and I guess
00:07:29.220 what I'm saying here guys and what brought the inspiration for this podcast on is this I've seen
00:07:35.360 everybody posting today about how much they're eating and how much they're drinking and how much fun
00:07:40.980 they're having and that's all good and great but you're not going to be having fun in another six 0.96
00:07:46.240 weeks or eight weeks when all the shit's over the party's over the lights have been turned off 0.99
00:07:50.920 the booze has been poured away the food's not being cooked anymore and you're fucking 20 pounds 0.99
00:07:57.980 10 pounds worse than you are right now and I challenge you guys 0.97
00:08:03.980 to express and display some discipline over the course of the next six to eight weeks it's okay to go to
00:08:14.080 a party and not indulge in the food and drink you don't have to and I know what that feels like guys
00:08:20.740 because I've been there I've been the person who could not go to a party without drinking 15 drinks 0.99
00:08:27.300 I've been the person who couldn't go to a party without eating literally 5,000 calories worth of shit 0.97
00:08:33.640 I've been there and I can tell you with 1,000 percent certainty that my life is 1,000 percent better 0.97
00:08:41.200 because I learn and cultivate this discipline that I'm expressing to you right now I'm earning more
00:08:48.020 money I'm doing better work my companies are growing people around me are developing better
00:08:54.780 I'm better and you could be better too the physical shape that we take guys has a direct influence on
00:09:04.320 everything not just because we feel better and have more energy but because of the discipline that we cultivate
00:09:11.040 through the process of learning how to work with our body we are able to discipline ourselves in other areas
00:09:19.260 too because the discipline it takes to create your best shape your best health is far stronger than any
00:09:28.960 discipline that you're ever going to need in business or in your career or in your relationship
00:09:33.620 and so I'm urging you guys and I'm challenging you guys to work on the discipline to not stuff your 0.99
00:09:43.240 fucking face okay you don't need that extra piece of pizza you don't need that extra piece of pie 0.99
00:09:51.780 you don't need that extra plate 1.00
00:09:53.560 be smart think long term
00:09:58.500 I'm I live my whole life like this guys I live my whole life struggling with this discipline and that
00:10:07.380 discipline fucked up my discipline in every other area 0.97
00:10:10.000 and the way I got it back was by learning to say no learning to look the other way and you know
00:10:17.780 it's okay to take some pride in that too when you see everybody else that you go to dinner with stuff 1.00
00:10:23.140 in their fucking face and you're eating the shit that you're supposed to be eating and they're 1.00
00:10:26.800 drinking like drunken fools and you're drinking water or diet soda and you're sticking to your plan 1.00
00:10:32.560 you should have pride in yourself you should feel good about that you should look at them and think 1.00
00:10:37.340 fuck yeah look at these weak motherfuckers and there's nothing wrong with thinking that when I drive by a 1.00
00:10:44.200 fast food place now I look at all the people in line and I think what the fuck you're fucking weak 1.00
00:10:49.840 and you know what that might not be quote-unquote right but it helps me feel good about my fucking 0.99
00:10:54.980 strength it helps me feel good about my discipline it helps me feel good about what I'm doing and I 0.76
00:10:59.760 know because most of you guys are customers of ours that you want to improve your physical shape
00:11:04.860 and you want to improve the discipline that you have in this area and what I'm going to remind you of 0.73
00:11:09.580 today really has nothing to do with this fucking podcast but it has to do with your life 0.98
00:11:14.300 I love you guys I want the best for you guys and I want you to learn from my journey of how much 0.98
00:11:22.140 better you can be what you're doing in the short term to make yourself comfortable is killing your
00:11:29.580 potential it's killing what you could be it's killing your ultimate life and I want you to stop when 1.00
00:11:37.600 you're about to put that shit in your mouth or you're about to take that drink that you didn't 1.00
00:11:41.580 earn and I want you to think about how this is going to affect your ultimate potential long term 1.00
00:11:51.480 people who are in better shape and better health live longer they're more productive they earn more
00:11:59.780 money they have more fulfilling lives they're happier they're less depressed and they're more effective
00:12:05.840 and those are all scientific facts so quit doing what's comfortable now and start doing what's
00:12:13.560 going to make you comfortable later I love you guys thank you for all the support let's kick some 0.99
