REAL AF with Andy Frisella - Legacy： Our Obligation, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO188

00:00:00.000 what is up guys you're listening to the ms ceo project i'm andy i'm your host 0.99

00:00:12.860 and i am the motherfucking ceo i know i threw you fuckers for a loop right there 1.00

00:00:18.200 you guys thought your fucking radio popped out or something happened and 1.00

00:00:22.100 you know i gotta keep it a little bit fresh once in a while dramatic pause that's right 0.99

00:00:26.180 as always i'm joined by my co-host vaughn the pastor of disaster what's going on dude it's

00:00:34.080 good to be here can i jump right into a story yeah all right so right in man yeah take the

00:00:39.320 water wings off and so i wanted to share the story because i know it would kind of get you

00:00:42.780 i bet you wear water wings still don't you what's that water wings i bet you still wear them i have 0.95

00:00:46.700 no idea what that even is what the fuck you don't know what water wings are yeah those little things 0.95

00:00:53.000 those little pillows they put around like little kids arms they swim we call those uh floaties oh 0.95

00:00:57.980 that's why i still wear them yeah i do yeah i do definitely if anybody's looking for a good

00:01:03.820 christmas gift for vaughn i'm just saying some nice custom water wings or floaties yeah i need those

00:01:10.300 i need those yeah that's great uh no so i wanted to tell you this story because i think it's going

00:01:15.220 to get you riled up and i'd love to hear your response but so yesterday my wife and i were

00:01:18.840 downtown oh well near downtown st louis grand avenue tower grove area we went to nice area

00:01:25.300 yeah it's a great area nice historic area it's got a lot of culture but anyway we um we were

00:01:30.280 eating at this uh restaurant we're having brunch with some friends and uh we were outside because

00:01:35.760 the weather was pretty good and the restaurant that we were at had a little bit of a like a

00:01:40.980 partition around the the outdoor seating area so where we were eating you know you had to

00:01:45.000 actually go into the restaurant to get in and as we were eating this uh this kid i would say he was

00:01:51.460 probably i don't know like fourth grade fifth grade he was not very old like a little black kid

00:01:57.400 i would say like he was dressed really sharp but he was definitely dressed like you could tell he

00:02:03.880 didn't have a lot of money you know right but he was but he was carrying he was carrying this like

00:02:08.320 uh well it was kind of a bag it was a duffel bag anyway he was real polite and he said

00:02:13.600 he said uh excuse me would you mind i'm selling candy i'm i'm trying to kind of run a business

00:02:20.980 and i want to raise money selling candy that's pretty cool yeah so it was pretty cool so i said

00:02:26.200 to him buddy i'd i'd love to buy candy but honestly i i don't have any cash like literally

00:02:30.520 so i kind of joked with him about you don't have a square or any sort of processing unit you know and

00:02:35.080 he said no so anyway he he walks away and i don't think anything of it until i notice that he

00:02:42.280 comes in to that area and was started to go door to you know table to table and uh clearly nobody

00:02:50.580 from the restaurant had an issue with it because they saw what he was doing but there was one lady

00:02:54.760 behind me that she just starts complaining she's like that's totally illegal that's totally 1.00

00:02:59.240 inappropriate and i was just like jesus what what is wrong with people dude like you have this young

00:03:05.380 kid i mean everybody's always quick to complain when kids are doing nothing no yeah and then you got a

00:03:10.820 kid who's out there hustling he's showing some ambition doing you know things that are productive

00:03:16.660 for him right he's not stealing he's selling something for money like that should be applauded

00:03:21.160 right so i guess i felt like i wanted to share that with you because i wanted you to go off because i

00:03:25.300 want you people obviously listen to you when that happens do everything you can to encourage that

00:03:31.860 yeah man totally because that's the problem with with with our society right now is we have kids

00:03:38.020 that are being raised without that uh you know idea or or skill set or ambition because the minute

00:03:46.560 they show it it gets squashed by some quote-unquote authority figure because you happen to be annoying 0.97

00:03:52.700 her fucking brunch you know dude how self-centered of a person is that like to even like get that upset 1.00

00:04:00.940 about you know you're interrupting my fucking brunch right you know get the fuck out of here right 1.00

00:04:06.540 funny funny sequel to that though a couple minutes later kasha continue and i continue to eat all of 0.99

00:04:12.500 a sudden we literally hear someone behind us moaning like literally going like oh and that same

00:04:20.340 woman that was complaining had gotten stung by a bee karma yeah seriously no i was like high five jesus

00:04:26.180 that was awesome uh but uh but it was crazy she acted like she had just been napalmed or something 1.00

00:04:32.240 yeah but i thought i thought she wasn't yeah i thought there was a connection there between the

00:04:36.460 complaining and then the and then just hey man you know what when you're negative finds negative

00:04:42.460 yeah you know when you put out negative i don't i've seen it a trillion times when you put out 0.99

00:04:47.760 negative negative comes and gets you you know what i'm saying like if you complain more bad shit's 0.86

00:04:51.980 gonna happen to you it's just the way it is and um you know too bad it wasn't like a whole swarm of 0.99

00:04:58.120 bees that's my opinion yeah that might have been a little bit like that should go play in fucking 0.94

00:05:02.360 traffic seriously but all this to say to trans a transition then this into yet another related 0.90

00:05:09.220 topic and that is that leave it to you man leave it to you to get a a number one new seller and the

00:05:17.240 book isn't even out yet yeah well i mean that isn't that isn't me it's it's our awesome loyal following

00:05:23.820 that we have you want to tell them what we're if they haven't already figured it out what we're

00:05:27.380 talking about yeah well i mean and and also why i brought up the story to begin with which is

00:05:33.900 it's interesting that we got the number one without having to really promote it you know you see a lot 0.71

00:05:37.980 of dudes having to go out and promote their shit like all over the place and go so hard and and um 0.80

00:05:44.260 and i understand that that's cool and everything but you know it's cool that we don't have to do that 0.94

00:05:48.740 because we have such a loyal following and an amazing dedicated uh you know culture behind the mfceo

00:05:56.120 brand it's not surprising to me that most of the people listening want their kids to have the

00:06:01.200 biggest advantage possible and that's why we wrote the books that's why we created the brand of otis and

00:06:07.220 charlie um we wanted to give you guys a tool to help you teach the lessons like we're talking about with

00:06:16.800 this kid who's going out and being ambitious and working and doing something to be productive

00:06:21.780 um you know unfortunately society hasn't created uh an effective strategy for that you know we've

00:06:30.520 created a situation where kids are taught from the time they're zero to the time they're 22 when they

00:06:37.000 finish college that they're special that they're you know they're unique and that they're destined to

00:06:41.660 be something special and great by just you know showing up and the real world isn't like that and we

00:06:48.280 all know that we all know it's the truth and we all know it in our heart regardless of what we want

00:06:52.460 to believe is true and it would be nice if we were all special it would be nice if we were all destined 0.91

00:06:57.460 for greatness but the reality is you have to go out and fucking earn it and a lot of parents uh you 0.91

00:07:03.900 know the story the story behind the whole brand really kind of tells the story of why we do it you 0.91

00:07:09.600 know a lot of people don't realize how the whole idea came about uh you and i and tyler and emily

00:07:14.980 were flying back and chris i think was with us too we're chris and mindy and we were flying back

00:07:19.500 from uh i forget we're flying to or back i think we're flying to there salt lake city yeah to salt

00:07:26.320 lake city were we going there or coming back we were going we were going there and like i was kind

00:07:30.440 of like annoyed because you know i get paid to go speak and you know sometimes i get paid i don't

00:07:37.000 really like to go speak to groups it's not my thing i don't like it because um uh i feel like 0.95

00:07:42.780 you know i go up there i give my fucking best i tell people the real shit and they don't go out 0.98

00:07:49.200 and do anything and i was telling that story basically oh i was venting because i was annoyed 0.98

00:07:54.240 because i didn't really want to even leave st louis to go to fucking salt lake city um and i was 0.98

00:07:59.400 basically bitching and complaining about how i'm gonna go and it's gonna be like no other speaking 0.96

00:08:02.820 event that i do where uh or every other one where i go out and i fucking you know give all kinds 0.98

00:08:08.380 of great value and everybody that walks out of there is going to be like pumped for a couple 0.97

00:08:12.360 hours and then they're going to go home and do the same fucking thing and then i started venting 0.96

00:08:16.460 and and this is pretty common you know i'll vent and nobody will really say anything they'll just 0.97

00:08:20.940 sit there and listen and so it was kind of one of those situations and i'm like dude

00:08:24.600 you know people by the time they're 20 30 years old 40 years old which is the group of people that i

00:08:31.560 usually speak to they have embedded certain values into their brain certain habits into their brain

00:08:38.580 and it's very hard to get them to switch it's hard to get them to believe they can switch uh and for

00:08:43.700 that reason it's very frustrating for me when i go up and speak and nobody does anything you know i get

00:08:49.080 these messages all the time on instagram and an email oh hey man you know uh what else can i do or how 0.52

00:08:56.160 can i take it to the next level or what can i bro i fucking tell you every day for free um and that's 0.97

00:09:03.360 frustrating you know what i mean when i'm giving out the real information people have this idea that 0.97

00:09:08.080 i'm giving out the fucking the tip of the iceberg and i'm keeping the real shit no i'm telling you how 0.98

00:09:14.860 it is and uh that that frustrates me and it makes me not want to go speak to adults and so i verbally 0.98

00:09:21.380 vented about this and i said dude you know what we need to do we need to start writing books for

00:09:25.420 teenagers and i'm like and i thought and i said well you know by the time kids are teenagers

00:09:30.640 they usually have a lot of their values embedded in them what we really need to do is we need to 0.95

00:09:35.740 write fucking children's books like dr seuss and i said it out loud like half joking but as soon as i 0.98

00:09:42.020 said it all these guys that were on the plane looked at me like like like i just said something 0.99

00:09:46.340 gold and i'm like fuck that's a great fucking idea and uh and that's where the idea came from the idea 0.94

00:09:52.380 was to create a set of books that teaches kids the reality of things that are getting lost in the 0.98

00:09:58.920 shuffle today things that aren't cool today and um you know it's not cool to tell kids that they

00:10:06.380 aren't that special and that they have to try to win the game and that it's okay to keep score and

00:10:11.520 it's okay to fucking dominate and it's okay to go out and do things when people are uh you know 0.96

00:10:17.180 boohooing on their dreams and you know all the shit that goes along with with the real real world 0.99

00:10:22.440 of success and and i get contacted by so many parents um this has been going on for years that 0.99

00:10:28.320 want to teach their kids the right shit but they're not sure what to teach them because they themselves 0.97

00:10:34.880 haven't become quote unquote wealthy or quote unquote successful by whatever successful standards 0.99

00:10:41.800 they think there is and so people are confused on what to teach their kids they're thinking like oh

00:10:47.280 well should you know is it the right thing to bring them up in this uh you know politically correct

00:10:52.060 world and tell them that they're special in this or that and build their self-esteem like all the

00:10:56.100 quote-unquote experts say or should i be telling them these other things like quote like the truth

00:11:01.860 um so that whenever you know they graduate college or they get into the real world however path

00:11:07.260 whatever path they choose takes them eventually into the real world you want them prepared you

00:11:13.140 want them to know what to expect you want to have the values instilled in them and not let these 1.00

00:11:18.300 fucking you know crazy fucking ultra liberal fucking teachers who tell everybody that they're going to win 0.99

00:11:25.140 they're going to be great and this is how it should be as opposed to how it really is and that's the 1.00

00:11:30.220 reason behind the book there is no political context to the book it just so happens that ultra liberals are

00:11:35.720 the ones that run the universities and the school systems and they teach kids to be idealist versus

00:11:40.320 realist and there's no value in that there's no value in teaching someone how to survive in a world

00:11:46.380 that quote-unquote should be i'm not arguing it that it should or shouldn't be that way i'm arguing it the

00:11:54.200 way it is and i'm going to tell you right now there's lots of people out there that that want to teach

00:11:59.240 their kids and it's smart of you to think that to teach their kids you know the things based upon

00:12:07.000 the world the way it really is versus how it should be i agree it should be different there should be 0.98

00:12:11.940 it would be great if everybody was special it would be great if everybody uh was going to be fucking 0.90

00:12:17.060 super successful and and grow this meaningful awesome impactful existence that's not reality the

00:12:24.740 reality is you have to earn those things and earning those things starts with them implementing 0.54

00:12:28.540 certain core values into someone's personality and character when they're fucking tiny before they 0.98

00:12:34.300 get poisoned with this bullshit idealist culture and i think you know people are resonating with that 0.93

00:12:40.320 and we're heat i'm not surprised i am a little surprised that it got to number one uh based off us 0.93

00:12:45.600 promoting it literally zero times um but i'm not surprised as well because i know that the people listening

00:12:51.480 right now and we have a giant podcast we are one of the top podcasts in the world um the people 1.00

00:12:57.640 listening right now are tired of this shit man they're tired of the fucking idealist shit they're 1.00

00:13:02.600 tired of getting lied to so many of these people that are listening right now you guys listening you've 1.00

00:13:07.260 got lied to your whole life and you've just now figured it out and that's why you're listening to 0.99

00:13:10.620 this shit you know do your kids a favor do your your your your kids your nieces your nephews kids in 1.00

00:13:17.920 the neighborhood do them a fucking favor man and set them up with this this book you know our mission 1.00

00:13:23.260 here at and and that's my little pitch right hey go buy the fucking book but hey otis and charlie 0.98

00:13:28.580 play to win yeah play to win go buy both books we're gonna have 10 books 8 to 10 books um buy them 0.91

00:13:35.260 because they're good and you know the thing is is that we don't ask for much from you guys we don't

00:13:40.980 ask like hey you know buy this buy that buy this buy that we're not that but when we put something

00:13:47.080 out it is fucking good and and and i just want to say uh you know it's come out right before 0.90

00:13:52.760 christmas it'd be a great christmas gift um you know but for you guys who have already bought it 0.85

00:13:57.420 i want to say thank you you know it's not we don't make money on the book just to just so you know we

00:14:02.380 make like i don't know what fucking two dollars a book break even yeah it's like it's this point we 0.95

00:14:06.960 get way we for what we put into it and what it costs me to do i'd have to sell a billion books to

00:14:12.500 actually make money when when pixar buys the rights yeah like money like it's people think

00:14:17.900 oh you're selling these books you're getting rich look you're not nobody's getting rich on books

00:14:21.720 unless your name is jk rawlings right all right uh i certainly am not but i just want to say to you

00:14:28.060 guys thank you for believing in the message and thank you for spreading the message because

00:14:32.840 we started this project and we started this podcast based around the idea of wanting to change

00:14:40.220 culture it wasn't about hey let's make money like dude i get i get approached by huge brands 0.74

00:14:45.140 all the fucking time to come on the podcast and advertise i mean dude i could make easy six figures 0.95

00:14:50.040 a month easy like probably mid six figures a month just by letting ads be on the show you know what i 0.99

00:14:56.160 mean dude i've got i got turned i got i got i had jack daniels fucking come to me all right i have 0.99

00:15:02.200 fucking uh i have fucking k-swiss come to me i have big brands come to me that i said no because i'm not 0.99

00:15:07.820 allowing advertisers on the show all right first of all i don't drink jack i drink maker's market 0.99

00:15:13.360 everybody fucking knows that yeah and that's actually what i told them too politely um but 0.86

00:15:18.620 you know we don't do this because of the money and i'm trying to keep it genuine and organic and real 0.97

00:15:26.160 and not make it a commercial thing you know what i mean like we want to make a difference and i just

00:15:30.780 want to say thank you guys for believing in the message for living the message for doing your part

00:15:36.200 and changing culture because i promise you all of us together are doing the right thing we are

00:15:41.460 setting the next generation up and building a legacy that fucking matters all right these kids 0.98

00:15:46.640 don't have a fucking they don't have a chance in hell with the way that the education system is set 1.00

00:15:51.660 up now and the way culture is set up and this politically correct fucking bullshit message is 1.00

00:15:56.340 getting shoved down everybody's throat these kids don't have a fucking chance unless we give them a 0.98

00:16:00.540 chance and that's why we're doing this so i just want to say thank you um whether you bought the book 0.98

00:16:06.040 or didn't buy the book but buy the book or you just support the podcast or you bring your friends

00:16:11.720 or whatever you do to help us out guys you like my statuses you like vaughn statuses um don't like

00:16:17.440 tyler statuses but my point is guys i just want to say thank you guys for supporting this because it's

00:16:23.580 been really cool um i've been fortunate in business not just to you know be successful financially but

00:16:31.180 to be in a business where i can make a huge impact you know there's not many other businesses where

00:16:36.240 you get to really change people's lives we sell products we make products we we educate people

00:16:41.940 that help them get their lives back most people know that you know a year ago a year and a half

00:16:46.800 ago i was 330 plus pounds i'm down to 260 which is you know for me i'm pretty lean at 260 um i've

00:16:55.640 i've taken my life back and i can't tell you how much of an impact that's made on me

00:16:59.800 and i'm in a business where we get to do that all the time but i'm also fortunate that i get to do

00:17:04.980 things like this podcast to make content where people can change their lives in other ways um

00:17:10.880 and make an impact in other ways and i i just feel like you know one of the most fortunate people on

00:17:17.020 the earth when it comes to what i get to do on a daily basis uh as far as spreading good messages

00:17:23.420 and helping people and and and and you guys who are listening right now are the foundation of that

00:17:28.920 because if it wasn't for you a i wouldn't sell any product b uh we wouldn't be making an impact

00:17:36.440 c our podcast wouldn't be one of the top podcasts in the world okay you know the idea of success and

00:17:44.180 the ideas that we express on this podcast are not dead it's how most people think the media pushes a

00:17:50.620 different agenda the media tells us how to think in other ways and what's politically correct and 0.89

00:17:54.620 what's not and how we should think and how the world should be we talk about how it fucking is 0.94

00:17:59.120 and you guys i just want to say thank you because more than anything you give me hope

00:18:05.140 that our world isn't fucking done absolutely you know what i mean yeah to me what's really exciting 0.76

00:18:12.980 just i'll add this is that uh you know in light of this whole otis and charlie movement it's cool when 0.53

00:18:19.600 you look on social media and different platforms and you see like something i saw the other day

00:18:24.000 this little five-year-old girl named pearl mcleanagan i think i'm saying that right

00:18:28.840 pearl mcleanagan gan or hand i don't know but i think it's gan because it's g-h-a-n but i think

00:18:35.280 but anyway any be that as it may little pearl little pearl all right little pearl did us a huge solid

00:18:40.960 she did her book report on otis and charlie's excuse me uh charlie the bulldog's fantastic fruit stand

00:18:47.300 so every kid in that little grade school in in california at least in the class got exposed to the truth

00:18:53.740 yeah and that's massive change right there it is it is so it is because they're not hearing that 0.99

00:18:58.840 shit from their fucking teachers who never did a damn thing in their entire life but go and get a 0.99

00:19:03.380 fucking basic degree and get a teaching job think of the perspective that these kids are being taught 1.00

00:19:09.060 from you're going to allow someone and dude there are some great teachers i've i have been i don't say 0.99

00:19:16.220 luck very much but i have been extremely fucking lucky to have amazing teachers in my life uh the 0.82

00:19:23.580 president of my high school mike loyette who's one of the most genuine and good humans i've ever

00:19:28.220 fucking met in my life had this is a guy who was making six figures he has masters in accounting was a 0.71

00:19:35.460 cpa he gave up all that to become a teacher because he wanted to make an impact and that man had so 0.98

00:19:41.700 and many others at my high school they don't make a lot of money you know what i'm saying these guys

00:19:47.100 dedicate their lives to impacting people because they care and there is some teachers out there that

00:19:53.220 fucking do that so when i say what i'm about to say understand that i know there's a difference but 0.98

00:19:58.200 there's also a lot of teachers that don't give a fuck about kids and they tell kids to be realistic 0.99

00:20:03.860 they tell kids that they can't do it and you know what at my high school i had teachers also like 0.92

00:20:08.560 that i had teachers that told me i couldn't do you tell me that story yeah i had a guidance

00:20:12.720 counselor who told me that i wasn't fucking good enough and that i should probably just 0.92

00:20:15.840 you know do some other things and you guys will see me post about that because i don't forget that 0.98

00:20:20.280 shit you know what i mean i'm lucky enough to have that fire inside me to let that motivate me but so 0.99

00:20:26.080 many people aren't there's a lot of people out there that hear that shit and they quit no that's 0.99

00:20:30.180 bulletin board material yeah for me it is yeah but not everybody's like that you know most of the 0.98

00:20:34.480 teachers i know they literally got in the teaching so they could have summers off i know i know dude

00:20:38.520 and i and i i wouldn't say most but there's at least uh there's at least half of the teachers

00:20:42.480 out there like that because there are some really good teachers that do it for the right reason

00:20:45.800 so like if you're a teacher and you're listening and you're you're probably the good kind and and i 0.98

00:20:51.360 thank you for that because we need more of that but there is a lot of teachers that don't give a shit 0.95

00:20:54.740 and for that reason i do believe teachers should be paid three four five times as much because if you 0.94

00:21:00.680 if they if they could pay more then higher quality individuals would go to be teachers you know

00:21:05.780 what i mean and that's the problem we have with that they should be paid a lot more um now yeah

00:21:12.300 that's my breath yeah um you know the thing is is that dude i'm all megawatted up yeah no that's good 0.86

00:21:18.700 i fucking i fucking hammered down some megawatt right before i came in here because i was going to work 0.99

00:21:22.220 out because we weren't going to do a podcast right i was just going to do it later and i was going to 0.99

00:21:25.700 work out so now you're getting megawatt fueled fucking ms ceo project but not that we need it 0.97

00:21:32.180 right but you know the thing is is that this is about impact this is about helping people and 0.96

00:21:38.700 like dude at the end of the day no matter how much money you make no matter what car you drive no 0.91

00:21:41.920 matter what house you're in it's our obligation to make sure that the fucking people that come behind 0.98

00:21:46.180 us are equipped to handle the reality of life and and you guys who are listening all know the reality 0.99

00:21:51.640 you know the reality it's not what you were taught growing up it's not fucking peaches and 0.99

00:21:56.200 fucking roses and good fucking times all the time you have to teach your kids the right skills and 0.99

00:22:00.820 that's why we have the books and i i just dude more than the sales more than the number one more 0.99

00:22:06.000 than anything else dude it just it it like gets me fired up about humanity that we have people out 0.71

00:22:13.940 there that believe in the shit that you and i believe in and haven't like just we just this 0.99

00:22:20.520 fucking politically correct bullshit nonsense idealist shit hasn't poisoned the world as much as they make 1.00

00:22:28.980 it look like it has on right you know what i mean right but the flip side of that too is you the 1.00

00:22:33.120 numbers don't lie man yeah the numbers don't lie look at our fucking numbers no absolutely i'm saying 0.96

00:22:37.320 no 100 um the flip side of that is then the more people who actually stand up and speak the truth 0.98

00:22:44.940 the more people will do it dude and hopefully that's right will turn and and that's why i always ask

00:22:50.080 you guys to to refer your friends bring your friends in uh let your people know that this this

00:22:56.460 information is out there and this content is out there because dude so many people other than you 1.00

00:23:03.580 got then your friends listening are sick of fucking this they're sick of it they're sick of the bullshit 0.99

00:23:09.300 that's being taught they're sick of the ideas that are being jammed down our throats they're sick of 1.00

00:23:14.480 you know us being told that we need to be this way or that way and this way you know think about how

00:23:20.520 many times you have this conversation at barbecues or you're drinking beers you know and maybe i'm 0.91

00:23:26.120 immersed in a little more than ever but like dude everybody i'd speak to just fucking tired of this 0.98

00:23:30.520 bullshit you know and it starts with our kids you know people are like why haven't you written a 0.96

00:23:36.560 an adult book well because most of you adults are already kind of set in your ways right and we are 0.98

00:23:42.940 writing a really good adult book which i have no doubt will be a number one times bestseller because

00:23:47.120 isn't that fucking good but we gotta we gotta start and fulfill our moral obligations first 0.86

00:23:54.640 you know we've got to take care of the next generation and that's that's why the books are 0.96

00:23:58.680 being written i get dude i get asked so many times man why do you why do you write children's books and

00:24:04.060 not adult books because it's more important you know what i mean you're gonna definitely influence

00:24:09.300 more it's more important it's it's kind of like the what what is that principle and finances that

00:24:14.120 the more you the more money you put in up front when you're saving like for an ira the the much

00:24:19.340 greater the dividends yeah compounding interest you know or uh whatever compounding returns um no

00:24:25.180 that's how we look at it and you know for those of you whose kids aren't you know three to four or

00:24:30.400 five well the cool thing vaughn is this is like because when i was brought up you know and i'm a little

00:24:38.920 bit older generation than a lot of the people listening i'm 38 all right when i was brought up

00:24:43.920 all the kids were taught to be competitive all the kids were taught to win they were taught the

00:24:48.800 reality they were taught to work hard so the competition was tough but now if you want your

00:24:54.020 kids to have a gigantic advantage if you just teach them the basics when the other kids aren't being

00:25:00.460 taught that think how much of an advantage they have right it's a disproportionate advantage you know

00:25:06.520 and that's why that's what i'm excited about i'm excited about the results that we're going to see

00:25:12.060 15 years from now from the books that are being written now oh yeah you know what i mean yeah and

00:25:17.080 like dude when people tag tag me in their photos of their kids reading that's the best dude it's the

00:25:21.680 fucking coolest thing like it's the coolest fucking thing ever speaking of which guys if you if you do 0.93

00:25:26.380 buy the book a huge huge huge way that you can do us a solid is is just to write a write a review 0.98

00:25:33.320 on the uh on amazon because amazon uses those to rank uh the availability and the uh the visibility

00:25:39.300 of the different books so that that really helps but what i was going to say is that if you have

00:25:43.860 young kids if you have like two i'm sorry if you don't have young kids if you don't have like

00:25:47.340 uh you know three four five year olds but you have just a little older like eight or nine

00:25:51.620 just wait oh yeah just wait yeah that's all i'm going to say so we're working backwards yeah but it's

00:26:00.020 the right way yeah it's the right way look man doing shit the right way has never failed me it might 0.64

00:26:04.840 take a little bit longer right i might spend more time doing things that other people aren't willing 0.96

00:26:09.400 to do but the reality is in the long term it's always coming to my benefit so you know i'm willing

00:26:13.740 to work backwards absolutely you know absolutely but the topic speaking of all the different resources

00:26:19.620 that was that like a 40 minute pitch for the fucking book but the topic that we're talking about today 0.92

00:26:25.100 in light of the the different resources that you've been developing man is uh well why don't you tell 0.97

00:26:31.440 people we're we're coming up one of the one of the signature courses that we're coming up with

00:26:35.720 that you're going to deliver here in the next what couple months well the whole the the whole idea i

00:26:42.740 think is really cool of of the entrepreneurship academy that we're starting um right now we've got

00:26:48.060 20 courses that are going to be uh exclusive to people who get approved uh through an application 0.97

00:26:55.480 process so it's not like you know these fucking bullshit internet courses they're sold all over to 0.97

00:27:01.020 place this is an actual academy based on real principles how to start a business how to grow 0.99

00:27:06.480 a business how to handle all the things that go along with a business in practical terms will there 0.98

00:27:11.740 be motivation in there yeah motherfucker because the way i speak is motivational so you're going to get 0.95

00:27:16.180 motivated too right but the focus is going to be on how to actually build something and how to take 0.98

00:27:21.440 the skills that we talk about here and practically apply them whether you are starting a business or

00:27:28.000 whether you're inside of a business and you want to become more valuable so um it's application only

00:27:33.760 uh we're only approving people that meet the certain criteria that we're setting up from the beginning

00:27:38.800 it's not open to the public again this isn't about making a trillion fucking dollars this is about 0.89

00:27:44.640 making an impact with people that that are going to actually go out and use the information and uh

00:27:49.740 i think what's going to make it different is that we you know this is going to be like harvard for

00:27:58.760 entrepreneurs yeah you see what i'm saying yeah like harvard don't let everybody in i'm not interested 0.95

00:28:03.700 i don't need anybody's fucking money like i'm i've made a lot of fucking money and i make a lot of money 0.96

00:28:08.560 this isn't about that this is about selecting unique individuals that i believe in that are going to go 0.98

00:28:15.920 out and execute and create impact in whatever their world is i like that idea i don't want to be the 0.58

00:28:22.640 guy that's going to whore out bullshit information uh and just try to make a dollar that's not what 0.79

00:28:27.220 this is about this is about actually helping you guys become successful in the real world and having 0.99

00:28:33.920 you guys go out people are like how can i repay you you know how you repay me by doing what the fuck 0.95

00:28:38.540 you're supposed to be doing and do it great and that's why it's you know it's it's application only type

00:28:44.500 deal um but we did talk about so the signature course or in some ways one of the one of the uh

00:28:50.520 well i don't know if i even want to say the name of it because i i because we're gonna have the book

00:28:55.700 we're gonna have a book about that as well right um and i don't really i it's kind of my top secret

00:29:01.340 deal that i don't good point so how how about we focus on one of the core why don't we give

00:29:05.560 them a little preview by focusing on one of the core well the main thing is is i'm going to show you 0.98

00:29:10.360 exactly how to fucking grow a business starting with one fucking customer if you can't go out and 0.99

00:29:16.180 get one fucking customer right now you're there's something wrong with you all right all you need is 0.99

00:29:21.900 one and i'm going to show you how to build a hundred and fucking something million dollar company out of 0.99

00:29:25.760 one customer because that's what i fucking did you know a lot of these people out there are talking 0.99

00:29:29.540 about oh i did this i did that and i didn't do you didn't do a goddamn thing other than sell 0.99

00:29:34.140 fucking internet courses no offense you know i'm not going to knock anybody's hustle but i'm going to tell 0.97

00:29:39.460 you right now if i'm trying to learn from somebody i'm going to learn from somebody who built something 0.99

00:29:42.440 from scratch not walked into it at five million dollars or three million dollars or a million 0.98

00:29:47.820 dollars dude took me 10 fucking years to get to a million dollars in sales all the good shit that i 0.99

00:29:51.820 learned came in that 10 fucking years i didn't you know like had i walked into something at a million 0.99

00:29:56.960 dollars what the fuck would i really know i would have missed out on a 10 years worth of experience 0.97

00:30:00.560 and if i want to learn that's who i want to learn from and that's why i'm doing this because no one 0.99

00:30:04.200 else out there is fucking doing it they're selling these bullshit you know instant uh you know roi type 0.99

00:30:10.800 courses hey i'll show you how to retarget on fucking facebook and you'll you know you could sell x you 1.00

00:30:16.620 could sell this bottle of fucking pills and you could make fat you know like it's it's not how to build a 0.98

00:30:21.780 real brand it's not how to build a real company it's not how to build something that's worth something 0.99

00:30:25.940 people are so these days are so fixated on instant gratification and i can make this much money in 0.96

00:30:35.100 this much time but you don't have anything to show for it dude i make a lot of fucking money and guess 0.98

00:30:39.880 what i got a company that's worth fucking half a billion dollars don't you want that don't you want 0.99

00:30:45.520 to do it the right way if you're going to put in the fucking time instead of always trying to worry 0.94

00:30:48.860 about where your cash is coming from this is for people that want to build something this isn't for 0.97

00:30:52.860 people that are looking for an instant roi tomorrow you get what i'm saying right absolutely

00:30:58.700 so i'm gonna you know the the idea of the academy is to unlock all the fucking potential in people 0.95

00:31:05.060 that that are accepted you know and i'm not going to bring people in that that i don't think can 0.91

00:31:09.340 fucking do it that's that so we're gonna have an application process which we'll have online 0.66

00:31:14.520 probably in the next 30 days or so um and i imagine we're going to have a lot of people apply 0.98

00:31:19.640 but we're also going to accept a very few amount of people so uh you know a lot of people have been

00:31:26.660 asking me what how do i get in how do i get in well um there's only really two ways to get in one

00:31:31.640 you're gonna have to apply and the other one is i actually award uh access to the academy through

00:31:38.320 the two-minute drill that we do on my posts so there's ways that there's ways to do that as well

00:31:43.440 um but you know i'm not this isn't about money it's not about like oh you know i want to have

00:31:48.900 everybody do it because if everybody does it then everybody has the secret you know what i mean

00:31:53.120 everybody has the skills and i don't want to fuck with that i want people that are actually going to 0.97

00:31:57.620 use it you want to give give to those who are going to use it yeah who are worthy who are willing 0.87

00:32:02.500 to work you know like i don't want the worst thing that could happen to me is somebody come in

00:32:06.860 uh you know apply apply get in pay to be a part of it and then all of a sudden uh you know they're like 0.93

00:32:13.440 well it doesn't work because you didn't fucking work so you know this isn't for the get rich quickers 0.94

00:32:20.680 this is for the people that are looking to be you know eight figure nine figure ten figure guys over 0.97

00:32:25.840 the course of their life yeah yeah it's a different it's a different approach so you're going to give 0.85

00:32:30.700 a you give drop any knowledge what do you mean i do i drop knowledge every fucking time i open my 0.98

00:32:36.700 mouth i mean that's all i do is fucking drop knowledge give a little preview no like well what do you 0.98

00:32:42.960 want me to what are you getting at you're like winking at me now bond's like winking at me 0.98

00:32:46.500 trying to get me to say something i thought we were going to talk about your whole concept of

00:32:49.640 the lifetime value of a customer oh well i talk about that in the academy that's that so it's not

00:32:56.660 for the success what do you want me to get what do you want me to talk about i don't know i just

00:32:59.940 thought maybe well you tell me what he's winking at me like try and get me to say something i don't 0.86

00:33:03.460 know what the fuck he's getting at well i thought what we could do out of the sheer kindness of your 0.97

00:33:07.920 heart is share with people your whole concept of viewing a customer from the standpoint of their 0.98

00:33:13.700 lifetime value and to talk a little bit about that you don't have to give the whole thing but

00:33:17.580 talk a little bit about that i think that's the biggest part of that's the biggest part of i know

00:33:21.700 for a fact that's the biggest reason why businesses fail because they focus on acquisition far more than

00:33:29.620 retention loyalty and the biggest thing that i've done in my companies is that i have got my guys to

00:33:35.560 understand the value of a customer over the course of their life with and with my business and your

00:33:42.300 business is going to be different the lifetime value of a customer is well over a hundred thousand

00:33:46.440 dollars for us okay that means when you're having a conversation with someone who comes into your

00:33:51.840 store or comes into your website and they buy nothing they buy nothing the first time you should

00:33:59.420 still visualize a little bubble over their head that says a hundred thousand dollars and if you can

00:34:03.820 visualize a hundred thousand dollars or the lifetime value of a customer over the top of their head

00:34:08.020 how are you going to treat that customer what questions are you going to ask what are you willing

00:34:12.160 to do how far are you willing to go to make them excited how far are you willing to go to make them

00:34:17.840 so excited they tell their friends and getting into the actual practicals of how to do those things

00:34:23.920 is what will be in that course right okay so but the biggest thing and you could take this right now you

00:34:30.280 don't have to buy the fucking course because if you could visualize someone's lifetime value over 0.93

00:34:34.880 the course of their head over the top of their head whether you be on your website or somebody who 0.99

00:34:40.440 clicks through or somebody who you capture their email or somebody who's in your retail store or

00:34:45.740 somebody you see in the gym somebody you see in the grocery store somebody you i'm talking about

00:34:51.040 everyone if you could start seeing everyone for their lifetime value and you could teach your team to see

00:34:57.960 that you're going to grow massive amounts because the whole dialogue changes then the whole approach

00:35:06.440 changes imagine if you're a retail employee and you see a customer and you think oh that guy's going

00:35:13.120 to come in and he's going to spend two dollars with me and that's how your customers see it or your

00:35:17.120 employees see it by the way the guy who comes in every day and buys a soda or buys a water or buys a

00:35:21.840 beef jerky or a protein bar that's a two dollar customer he's not important right but what is the

00:35:30.160 value of his lifetime what is the value of his network how many people would he tell about your store

00:35:37.360 your business if you figured out a way to make a gigantic impact with him and make him say holy 0.99

00:35:43.420 fucking shit i love this place i love these guys i'll never shop anywhere else not only will i never shop 0.99

00:35:49.340 anywhere else but i'm going to tell everybody i know to come shop here now that guy's not a two 1.00

00:35:55.180 dollar guy anymore now he's a multiple hundred thousand dollar guy he's worth not a hundred he's

00:36:00.680 worth a hundred plus all the people that he communicate to and getting your employees to buy

00:36:05.960 into that mentality and getting your culture of your company to buy into that mentality is the biggest

00:36:11.800 thing that you can do and for example in my course i break it down step by step by step by

00:36:19.240 step by step all the different ways that i do this and how i teach my team how to do it okay so it's

00:36:26.080 the the course isn't going to be or is it going to be cheap either it's going to be expensive but

00:36:30.780 you're going to make it back on one customer and that's how you got to think about it you know and

00:36:35.520 in your experience most people in spite of the fact that what you're saying to me really does seem 0.96

00:36:39.700 like common sense but in your experience most sense because you're fucking here every day well 0.82

00:36:43.420 that's true but you're in your experience most people do still treat it at every other company 0.88

00:36:47.360 you go to uh like a one-time transaction exactly that's because that's the mentality all the people

00:36:52.840 who are listening right now that's the mentality of your company you might have a different mentality 0.99

00:36:56.760 but your company when you're not standing right there has the the fucking two dollar mentality right 0.97

00:37:01.980 and my job is to get you to understand how to get your whole entire culture aligned with the value 0.98

00:37:08.280 of a lifetime not the value of a one-time transaction and i think it's probably because one of those

00:37:13.440 things where a little success actually inoculates you against huge success because you probably could

00:37:18.660 be moderately successful viewing there's a whole book written about that good is the enemy of great

00:37:23.260 is that right yeah okay we'll see so basically what i was going to say is that because you can

00:37:28.540 run a decent business with a with a one-time transaction mentality you're you're not going to do

00:37:35.040 the extra effort it takes to do the lifetime relationship mentality but if you do you end up making

00:37:41.360 you compound your return yeah yes yeah dude i see so many missed opportunities in my day-to-day

00:37:48.500 experiences shopping other places eating at other places uh going to other you know businesses dude

00:37:55.040 every single one i go to i see literally dozens of missed opportunities to create

00:37:59.580 compounding returns yeah you know we live in a different world guys we live in a world now

00:38:05.780 where you could capitalize on people's compounding returns because they all have a voice

00:38:11.120 they have a facebook they have an instagram they have a twitter they might have a youtube channel 0.96

00:38:16.640 you don't know what the fuck they have and you can't treat somebody as if you know what they have 1.00

00:38:24.380 because you don't okay you you might be talking to someone who has 10 000 followers on fucking facebook 0.99

00:38:30.980 or 100 000 or a million you don't even fucking know and i i treat every single person i meet 0.99

00:38:37.680 as if they have 10 million followers on fucking instagram and can tell everybody about me with 0.99

00:38:44.060 the click of a fucking button yeah and if you treat everybody like that if you treat everybody like 0.98

00:38:49.800 that and you could teach your people to treat everybody like that and you could create experiences 0.99

00:38:53.500 that are based around treating everybody like that you ain't gonna have to fucking worry about money 0.65

00:38:57.040 ever again well dude especially nowadays where you know 50 years ago millionaires but understand like 0.61

00:39:02.020 there's a difference between me giving you that little bit of information and also breaking down

00:39:06.440 the step by step by step practicality of how to do it of course so so we talk about concepts here on 0.57

00:39:12.100 the fucking show and basically i kick you guys out into the real world and you guys it's up to you to 0.99

00:39:18.360 figure it out the court where the people are like well what you give out all the information for free on 0.99

00:39:22.660 the podcast well yes and no yes i give you the concepts no i don't give you the step-by-step 0.97

00:39:28.640 practical practical steps on how to fucking do this shit that's the difference between what i give on 0.93

00:39:34.620 the podcast and what will be an academy right absolutely but what i was saying just along with 0.99

00:39:38.960 your whole mentality is it's so important to value every person especially now more than ever because

00:39:44.180 like 50 years ago you could you could very easily point out a millionaire in a crowd because

00:39:48.360 culturally people you know were the three people yeah it looked a certain way whereas now you're

00:39:52.840 talking like mark cuban zuckerberg or whatever his name is you you could have some guy coming in your car 0.99

00:39:58.440 a fucking place all the time people don't know who the fuck i am and they fucking treat me like 0.99

00:40:02.080 shit yeah and i'm like yeah okay bro like here's me my camo shorts that i wear every fucking day 1.00

00:40:08.520 and my first form t-shirt and you know a hat right that's sweat stained and they they're like who the 1.00

00:40:16.600 fuck is this bum right they don't know i just rolled up in a seven hundred thousand dollar fucking car 1.00

00:40:21.220 and own a fucking nine-figure fucking company right you know what i mean they have no idea absolutely 1.00

00:40:26.420 and you should treat everybody like that sometimes everybody as if they're that guy absolutely and 0.99

00:40:30.420 sometimes it's not even because somebody has money i mean even even even not you what if i go into a

00:40:36.060 restaurant dude you know and and and they treat me horribly and then i decide to mention the name of

00:40:40.780 the restaurant on a podcast that gets a million people that listen to it but that's the point is

00:40:45.880 that you should think that every single person is the most important most influential person that

00:40:51.580 you've ever fucking known if you treat everybody like that if you treat everybody like they're 0.99

00:40:56.480 going to go out and they could fucking destroy your business with one fucking post you will treat 0.99

00:41:00.700 everybody so good that the opposite will happen they will grow your business absolutely not just you but 0.99

00:41:06.340 you know how many how many millionaires do you know that you know wear flip-flops on the daily 0.90

00:41:10.800 most of them i know most of them most of the ones i know look like kind of look like bums 1.00

00:41:18.640 because they can you know there's a funny meme that goes around the internet and it's like i don't

00:41:24.100 remember the exact words but it's funny it says like you know when i was young i used to i used to

00:41:28.520 think that everybody that was rich wore suits and this and that but then i realized that they work 0.74

00:41:32.300 for guys in shorts and t-shirts and that's the truth yeah like you know why the fuck would i want 0.87

00:41:38.060 to wear a suit every day yeah so guys we've had 188 episodes and in this episode we're actually

00:41:47.640 you know spending some time promoting some of the projects we've been working on i think it's more

00:41:51.820 like now i don't i think it's just more letting people know right right well the point being is

00:41:55.880 is that you know we're we're pitching this for lack of a better word because this is good stuff it's 0.55

00:42:00.900 going to change people's lives no shit it's going to change kids lives with the otis and charlie 0.73

00:42:04.720 it's going to change your life whenever when it comes to just the the the stuff that we got 0.87

00:42:09.780 coming down the hopper so i'm excited about it you know when you have a good product it's easy to

00:42:14.560 promote it look man i think uh we've demonstrated the value that that can be brought over the last

00:42:21.960 190 episodes that we've done so i'm not really concerned if people see value in it or not i 0.96

00:42:27.940 don't make my income off of this shit i don't really fucking care if anybody buys it i'm doing 0.96

00:42:31.420 it because i want to make an impact right you know you know i'm sitting here thinking you know 0.99

00:42:36.720 the funny thing is we don't even have a real name for the academy i've been calling it the

00:42:40.260 for sell entrepreneurship academy uh but i don't really have a name for it so if you could think

00:42:46.200 of a good name that you think is cool dude drop it in on a comment on my one of my posts and uh you

00:42:51.640 know whoever if somebody comes up with a name that we decide to use uh i'll give you free access to

00:42:57.160 the course you know that'd be kind of cool yeah that would be cool it's people's input on uh on what

00:43:01.900 they think the name should be but as of right now it's called for sell entrepreneurship academy

00:43:05.720 uh it might stay that but if somebody comes up with something cooler i'd give them give them uh

00:43:10.640 free access yeah hey guys by the way while we're on that topic we're gonna we hardly ever i mean

00:43:16.040 literally hardly ever send out emails but we are going to let people know some of the developing news

00:43:21.720 about the academy through email so if you haven't already signed up to get updates from the podcast

00:43:27.300 just go to the mfceo.com and there's there'll actually be a little pop-up asking if you want

00:43:32.620 updates it actually says you get the uh the episode right to your inbox which you don't

00:43:37.860 because we don't really bother you guys like literally in the last two years i think we've

00:43:41.720 sent like free emails but uh but we are gonna we are gonna give you guys updates so sign up for those

00:43:58.360 saying like i got this course you could buy to teach you how to sell shit bro or so you know 0.84

00:44:02.540 we're so low uh low pressure around here well that's how it should be you're supposed to have 0.99

00:44:07.520 a product that's so good you don't have to pressure people and i know we do have that

00:44:10.440 right anyway that's the way it was with me and women back in the day oh was it i had a product so 0.95

00:44:14.720 good oh i didn't even have to pressure him oh man it's funny it's like a fish story you know like 0.93

00:44:20.440 back when it happened you caught like a fucking two-incher but now it's like a two-footer it's like 0.93

00:44:23.880 the one-armed fisherman it was this big i swear yeah exactly uh look i don't think we have 0.96
