00:00:00.420 I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon.
00:00:04.900 Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me gotta lose.
00:00:12.580 What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy. I'm your host,
00:00:17.100 and I am the motherfucking CEO, and this is Thursday Thunder. If you know what Thursday
00:00:23.100 Thunder is, you know what that is. If you're new, you fucking don't. All right? On Tuesdays,
00:00:27.040 we have longer podcasts. On Thursdays, we have Thursday Thunder, which, as I mentioned,
00:00:32.220 is what I'm about to get into. Now, if you're new, first off, welcome, as long as you're not a pussy.
00:00:41.440 Now that we got that out of the way, we are an entrepreneurship, success, personal development
00:00:47.920 podcast. We are in the business category of iTunes, but what we talk about encompasses far more
00:00:56.820 than just business, okay? Will the information that you learn here help you make more money?
00:01:02.280 Fuck yes. Will the information here help you become more confident, more successful,
00:01:07.840 and feel better about your entire life, including more fulfilled in every single area? Absolutely.
00:01:15.180 So to say that we are a business podcast would be slightly, no, massively misleading,
00:01:23.000 because the truth is to be successful, it's not just about money, but to be successful,
00:01:31.860 it is about money. So we're going to talk about a lot of different things, mostly in the context
00:01:37.900 of making fucking money, but you will be able to extrapolate these skills and techniques and ideas
00:01:48.240 and put them into other areas of life, okay? Most of you are great at something in life and you're
00:01:55.600 confused when you look around at other areas of your life as to why I suck at this. Like you might be
00:02:03.460 in great fucking shape, but you might have 27 bucks in your bank account. Well, the reason that you have
00:02:10.120 27 bucks in your bank account is because you haven't been able to apply the techniques that have made you
00:02:17.380 successful in the area of fitness over to business, all right? We talk a lot about this, but the point of me
00:02:26.340 bringing this up to you is that all of you have what it takes to succeed. It is not a magical thing, okay?
00:02:34.420 If you're good at something, if you've ever been good at something, you have what it takes to be
00:02:42.000 successful in any area, all right? Now, one thing that's different about this podcast is that we
00:02:52.020 don't run ads, all right? I could make easily seven figures running ads on this podcast for the first 10
00:02:58.620 minutes and make you guys fucking listen, but I don't because I make a lot of fucking money doing other
00:03:04.320 shit. I'm actually successful. I'm not pretend successful when it comes to finances, um, like
00:03:10.680 most of Instagram, but here's the thing. I do this because I was lucky in one area of my life,
00:03:21.140 very lucky. And I don't use luck very often, but the area that I was lucky in was the fact that I was
00:03:27.480 born to a father who was an entrepreneur and understood how to instill and teach and show me
00:03:38.060 things from a very young age. Okay. Now, was I given the silver spoon? Absolutely not. Was, did I have my
00:03:47.900 dad give me a bunch of money? No, he didn't give me shit, but he did give me advice. And that advice
00:03:54.380 has helped me become tremendously successful in business. And my goal with this podcast is to help
00:04:02.520 you guys, because I know you weren't all as fortunate as I was to learn the things that make up success in
00:04:12.220 reality, not in the idealistic society, which our parents, our teachers, our news, um, and all the
00:04:21.800 do-gooders at society are trying to tell everybody, which are things like this. Everybody should get
00:04:26.220 a trophy. Uh, everybody's special. The world really cares about you. The world thinks you're
00:04:31.880 great. Okay. I don't give a fuck if you think you're great. The world doesn't give a fuck if you
00:04:37.400 think you're great. Should you think you're great? I don't know. Have you done great shit? Okay. So
00:04:43.300 we're going to talk about a lot of different things, but the mission of this podcast and the reason
00:04:46.880 that it's called a project is because it is my mission to help reverse two decades of bad parenting
00:04:53.540 strategies and help young adults realize what it takes to be successful. I'm committed to this
00:04:59.140 cause. I have a set of children's books that you can purchase on Amazon or my website, Andy for
00:05:04.520 seller.com that will help you start your children out the right way. And no, they don't say fuck and
00:05:11.000 motherfucker and all this other language in them. Even though I know some of you wish they did,
00:05:15.800 they don't, we were talking about coming out with a special edition of a actual cursing edition of
00:05:21.680 the children's books that you could read to them when they were like too young to understand what
00:05:26.500 it meant, but whatever, maybe that's coming down the road. But the point is, is I'm committed to
00:05:31.480 this mission. And that's why I don't fucking have a bunch of ads that jammed down your throat.
00:05:35.480 And I'm not constantly selling bullshit programs, uh, about how to get rich. All right. So my fee for
00:05:42.420 you in trade for the information that I give you is that you tell somebody about our podcast.
00:05:48.440 You could do that through a post. You could do it in person. I don't care. We're an organic
00:05:51.800 movement and I rely on your guys's word of mouth. And I greatly appreciate that. If you get something
00:06:00.040 out of an episode that you tell somebody about that episode and ask them to subscribe to the podcast.
00:06:04.780 And if you love an episode, I would also ask that you review it on iTunes and give me that five star
00:06:09.440 rating. So with that being said, like I said, today is Thursday thunder and I have a very important
00:06:16.720 concept. We talk a lot about winning and success and how success comes about. And most people look at
00:06:26.700 success as this magical thing. They look at success as this thing that happens to some people and doesn't
00:06:34.540 happen to other people. And they find excuses in society, in their thinking, in their day-to-day life
00:06:43.500 that are evidence of this thinking. When they look at someone who is wealthy, they say, well, he must've
00:06:51.760 got lucky or his parents must've gave him money or he must've had a rich uncle in Nigeria that gave him
00:06:59.080 $3 million. Okay. We tell ourselves all these stories. He was in the right place at the right
00:07:05.080 time. Blah, blah, blah. We make up these stories that lend credibility to what we already think that
00:07:12.220 it's magical, but it's not magical. And I've dedicated a big portion of my life, not just building my own
00:07:21.040 success, but becoming a student of the process. And it's something I'm very passionate about. It's
00:07:27.060 something that I really love about being able to do this podcast is to share with you guys
00:07:32.520 what I've been able to dissect, not just in my own life, but from knowing all these other successful
00:07:39.900 people. Okay. So when we talk about success, a lot of people talk about money. A lot of people talk
00:07:46.420 about, um, you know, uh, cars and boats and fucking hoes and all this other shit, right? They talk about
00:07:53.280 all this crazy rapper shit. And you know what, if that's what motivates you, that's okay. But that's
00:07:58.340 not success. I define success very specifically. And how I define success is this. It's the pursuit
00:08:07.880 of fulfillment of your own true potential. What does that mean? That means that it's a constantly
00:08:15.480 moving target. That means that as you approach your goal, you are resetting your goal to a higher
00:08:22.700 standard because during the process of achieving your first goal, you have learned new skills.
00:08:30.540 Your, your, your Swiss army knife of skills to win has added a few new tools. When, what does that
00:08:37.620 mean? That means that your potential has now expanded, which means the goal that was your goal a year ago,
00:08:44.540 because you're, you're 90% there now is now further down the road. And so many people miss that point.
00:08:54.380 And so when you commit to fulfilling your own true potential, you are in fact saying, I will never
00:09:01.200 fulfill my own true potential, but you're also accepting the fact that you're going to live your
00:09:08.320 most fulfilled life because you're utilizing the potential you're creating through the process.
00:09:14.740 All right. So we talk about fulfilling your own true potential. It sounds cool. You know,
00:09:21.220 it sounds bad-ass. It sounds morally right. Like it sounds a lot cooler than like, Oh, I want to make
00:09:27.360 a billion dollars or, Oh, I want to drive a fucking Lambo. You know, it sounds, it sounds moral. Like,
00:09:33.360 Oh, I want to fulfill my own true potential. It sounds like something somebody would say. It's
00:09:37.860 some boring fucking success summit. All right. Why wouldn't someone want to go all in on that?
00:09:44.060 Why wouldn't someone want to jump in on that? Why wouldn't someone want to want to do everything
00:09:48.060 they could to fulfill their own true potential? I'll tell you why, because the actual pursuit of
00:09:55.240 success begins with a principle that is so uncool and so unsexy, but so absolutely indispensable
00:10:04.560 that people don't believe it's the actual key to success. It sounds absurd. Every time I talk about
00:10:12.000 this, everybody's like, yeah, Andy, but what's, what's the real success? So brace yourself for this
00:10:19.680 life-changing idea. Here it is. You have to master the monotonous. What is the monotonous?
00:10:30.480 It's the boring shit. It's the everyday shit. It's the regular shit. It's the shit that you do every
00:10:39.260 day that 99% of you motherfuckers think doesn't matter. You've got to master the monotonous in order
00:10:46.560 to become the ruler of your routine. It's the people who rule their routine, who lock in day in and day
00:10:53.860 out and do everything they can with pride and do everything they can with care and do everything
00:10:59.960 they can to the best of their abilities. Not the whiny cry baby. I'm doing my best. I mean, maximizing
00:11:07.360 their best. Those are the people who become successful. And guess what? That's hard because
00:11:14.280 it's not always fun and it is boring. And because it's boring, it causes us to lose
00:11:20.620 the focus that we need to win the fucking day. There's no other proven process for producing
00:11:30.060 exceptional results. And guess what? This process is guaranteed. You want a guarantee to success?
00:11:38.320 This is the only fucking way there is. Okay. You have to master the day today. Okay. And we talk about
00:11:47.560 this on episode 107. If you want a more in-depth understanding of the technique, listen to 107
00:11:54.340 after you listen to this. All right. But here's the thing. Most people, 99% of the world, all the
00:12:01.600 average motherfuckers, they think of success like this. They think of it like a movie montage. All right.
00:12:08.860 And you know what a montage is? You probably don't. All right. But it's a series of quick scenes.
00:12:13.100 You've seen it a million times that are in a movie that are meant to sum up a huge span of time. All
00:12:18.760 right. Like everybody here seeing Rocky four for the most part, if you haven't seen Rocky four
00:12:22.980 fucking unsubscribe from, from my podcast. Cause I don't even fucking want you. All right. It's an
00:12:27.800 awesome movie, but it's not reality. What do they show? They show Rocky taking a fight. They show Rocky
00:12:35.000 flying to Russia. They show Rocky running in the snow and all the while this amazing motivational music's
00:12:41.400 playing. Right. It's an iconic scene. They show them in the shed, like lifted some fucking rocks
00:12:46.140 and like bench pressing sheep over his fucking head and all kinds of crazy shit running around
00:12:51.540 in these furry boots, you know, looking all manly with the fucking beard. And then they show him
00:12:55.220 and he's got a beard. Right. And why do they show the beard? Because they're trying to show
00:12:59.840 that he's doing this shit every day. But most people don't look at success like that. They don't say,
00:13:06.120 Oh, look, Rocky was training day in and day out for two fucking months. And he grew a beard.
00:13:10.360 They missed that point. They look at it. Like he went out one day and trained once ran once
00:13:16.340 bench, press the fucking sheep. Once ate some motherfucking food by the fire, talk some shit
00:13:22.600 with his coach and went out and beat the shit out of fucking Drago, which isn't the case.
00:13:27.900 It's never the case, but that's how people look at success. They look at it. Like you do a few
00:13:33.580 things. I fucking ate right for three days. Why am I not a fucking fitness model? I did my tasks
00:13:39.440 that I needed to do. I sent five emails. I, I called 10 people. Why am I not running a $10
00:13:44.700 million company? Because they don't understand what mastering the monotonous means. It means
00:13:52.620 doing the shit that most people are too fucking undisciplined to do day in and day out with
00:14:01.440 perfection, doing it better than everybody else, doing it to the best of your ability
00:14:07.000 and continuously expanding that ability so that you could continuously do a better job.
00:14:15.240 So what does it really mean to master the monotonous? Here's what it means. I'm going
00:14:20.120 to give you three fucking points that you need to do to master the monotonous. All right. And this
00:14:25.700 will help you because dude, I know this shit is boring. I know that everyday regular shit
00:14:30.180 sucks. I know that I get tired of doing the same fucking thing every day, but you know
00:14:35.820 what? When I do the same fucking thing every day, I still do a perfection regardless of how
00:14:40.460 I feel. And that's discipline. That's not motivation. By the way, I'm disciplined because
00:14:46.200 I know what the fuck it's going to mean to me down the road. All right. And that's the first
00:14:51.120 point. You have to literally visualize the connection between what you're doing on a day
00:14:58.400 by day basis, AKA the monotonous with what you're wanting. What do you want yourself to look like
00:15:05.880 10 years from now? What do you want your bank account to look like? What do you want to look
00:15:10.020 like physically six months from now or a year from now? You have to connect the dots. You have to
00:15:17.520 remind yourself that these little things that you do are going to lead to the big things. Are you
00:15:24.680 going to put that extra bite of fucking peanut butter in your mouth or are you not? Are you going
00:15:29.920 to do your workout or are you not? Are you going to do your cardio or are you not? And you need to learn
00:15:35.580 to tie these things into where you want to be. All right. So visualize the connection between what
00:15:41.760 you're doing with what you're wanting. All right. Point number two, this is a huge deal. You need to
00:15:50.740 make it an issue of pride and competition for you. All these little things that you do during the day.
00:15:57.560 I don't care what you do. You have to make it an opportunity to win and not just win, but dominate.
00:16:05.980 And that doesn't mean that what you're doing on a daily basis doesn't matter. It means it matters a lot.
00:16:13.400 Like if you have to go clean the fucking bathrooms and there's three guys in your company that clean
00:16:18.200 the bathrooms, your goal should be to dominate them at cleaning the bathrooms. And you're thinking right
00:16:24.740 now, oh, well, the cleaning that bathroom doesn't fucking matter is why you're cleaning bathrooms in the
00:16:28.920 fucking first place. Because I'm going to tell you something. Developing the habit of doing the best
00:16:36.620 that you can day in and day out and dominating everybody at everything you fucking do, including
00:16:43.600 cleaning the bathroom is going to lead to a habit of doing the best that you fucking can at everything.
00:16:51.640 And guess what's going to happen with that habit? It doesn't matter how smart you are. It doesn't
00:16:56.340 matter what position you are. It doesn't matter what company you work for. It doesn't matter what
00:17:01.460 you do or who the fuck you are. There is a place for people that dominate everything they do
00:17:09.400 in a high earner income bracket. You will find your way if you cultivate that habit. So make it an issue
00:17:18.540 of pride. If I'm going to do this, I'm going to do it better than anyone. If I have to sweep the floor,
00:17:24.820 I'm going to be able to eat off the motherfucker after I sweep it. If I'm going to clean the
00:17:29.680 bathroom, I'm going to make the other guys look like they didn't even fucking do it. That's how
00:17:33.460 clean it's going to be. All right. So the second point, make it an issue of pride and competition
00:17:39.820 with yourself. All right. And the third point is this, take a look back every now and then and see
00:17:47.760 where all the little monotonous things that you have done over the course of the last six months,
00:17:55.120 three months, year to five years have gotten you. If you've lost 40 fucking pounds in six months
00:18:03.180 by cleaning up and taking pride in your diet and your workout and your routine with that,
00:18:10.040 and you've mastered the monotony of not wanting to get up every day and fucking work out, but doing it
00:18:15.640 anyway and doing it great, guess what? You're going to understand what mastering the monotonous
00:18:21.760 can do for you. All right. So you've got to pay attention to the results it's creating, because
00:18:26.780 if you don't pay attention, the results is creating, guess what you're going to think? You're going to
00:18:31.800 think like every other motherfucker out there that thinks it's fucking magic. All right. This is about
00:18:36.900 you winning your fucking day and mastering the shit that most people think doesn't matter.
00:18:44.020 All right. And also it's about retraining your brain to understand that this is not magic. This
00:18:53.620 is a fucking process that we learn of discipline and execution and pride and competition with ourselves.
00:19:02.000 That's what success really is. And if you want to fulfill your own true potential and make a billion
00:19:09.540 fucking dollars or a hundred thousand dollars or $10,000, whatever it is, if you want to go out and
00:19:16.640 build whatever kind of life you want, okay, you're going to have to master the monotonous. If you don't
00:19:26.500 want your life dictated to you, if you want your life dictated to you, guess what? There's plenty
00:19:32.740 of opportunity for that too. And if that's you, this isn't the fucking show for you. This isn't the
00:19:38.580 place for you. This isn't the fucking movement for you. But if you want to dictate the life on your
00:19:44.460 terms, if you want to dictate the success that you're going to create, and if you're ambitious to
00:19:50.140 the point where you're not satisfied with living the status quo bullshit that most of America lives,
00:19:56.820 you've got to learn to master the shit that everybody else thinks is irrelevant.
00:20:20.140 Yeah.
