On this episode of the MFCEO Project, we are celebrating the 100th episode by doing a little something a little different than what we normally do on the podcast. In this episode, we talk about what this project is all about and what we stand for.
00:00:00.000I wanna be a motherfuckin' hustler. You better ask somebody.
00:00:08.720What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy, I'm your host,
00:00:17.120and I am the motherfuckin' CEO. Guys, guess what today is? Today is the 100th episode
00:00:26.640of the MFCEO Project. We're pretty proud of that. Can I say, like, aw, yeah. I think you just did.
00:00:36.140As always, you guys know, if you've been listening, I'm here with my co-host, Vaughn,
00:00:41.280the pastor of disaster. What's going on, buddy? I really add the urban vibe to this podcast.
00:00:47.740You're so urban. Yeah, totally. So, 100th episode, man.
00:00:56.640You know, I'm not big on recognizing milestones, and I'm always keeping my head down and
00:01:01.680focus on what's ahead and what we need to do and how to get better. But it is kind of cool to take
00:01:07.720a second and think about 100 episodes in and some of the things that I've heard back from people,
00:01:15.560some of the growth we've had, you know, the amount of people that you guys have brought to the podcast,
00:01:20.800bringing your friends in, you know, sending me the messages you do. Guys, it's been an awesome,
00:01:26.640awesome journey so far. And I know I speak for Vaughn and Tyler and myself when I say
00:01:35.680how much fun and how rewarding this is to do. You know, we don't make money off of this. We don't
00:01:42.880take sponsors, really. I will rep products that I like, but I don't get paid for that. This is a
00:01:50.560product of passion. It's a product of purpose. It's a product of us wanting to do something that
00:01:59.120really matters. And we are having a tremendous time doing that. Today, I want to talk about,
00:02:09.300we're going to do things a little bit differently. You know, first, I don't normally say what we're
00:02:14.860going to do in the episode at the beginning of the episode. We kind of just lead into the
00:02:17.820conversation and we just go from there. So if this is your first time listening, this is a little
00:02:22.040bit different than what we normally do. We're going to do something a little bit special for
00:02:26.460the 100th episode. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go through and tell you what we're going
00:02:31.680to do, and then we're just going to get into it. First off, I'm going to break down the nuts and
00:02:38.000bolts of what this project is about, okay? What you're going to hear in the next couple of minutes
00:02:44.200is the MFCEO manifesto, okay? It's what we stand for. It's what we're all about. It's what this
00:02:51.600movement is about, and it's what our mission is with this project. There's a reason we call it
00:02:56.660the project. It's not just some catchy name that we came up with. I wanted to try to put this in
00:03:02.440together in one episode because we couldn't have got here without you guys, and our movement is
00:03:08.660spreading and growing. And you guys, every week, a lot of you guys are bringing in new people. You're
00:03:14.520telling your friends. You're spreading the word, and we appreciate that. And we wanted to be able
00:03:19.380to give you something special so that you could tell someone else, like, hey, here, go listen to
00:03:25.000episode 100, and you'll figure out what this is all about. That's the purpose of this podcast. So if
00:03:30.780you're somebody who has a friend who shared a link with you or told you to download this podcast,
00:03:35.320let me formally welcome you to reality. We're glad you're here, but prepare to get your face
00:03:42.780ripped off. Brace yourself for the fire and brimstone and the wholesale slaughter of unicorns.
00:03:51.120Yeah, unicorns. And trust me, you're going to love it. Guys, the second thing I wanted to do
00:03:58.820was to say thank you. Like I said, we couldn't have got here without you. Our listenership is growing
00:04:05.200by hundreds of thousands every month. Our email box is so packed that we can't even get through all
00:04:10.940the emails, and that's why it takes such a long time for us to get back to everybody. I apologize
00:04:15.500for that. We're doing the best we can. But it's just overwhelming, the amount of support, the amount
00:04:23.740of love, the amount of good vibes that you guys are giving us. And I don't know how to properly express
00:04:34.640the gratitude that we all have for you guys and what you do. You know, I asked you guys a little
00:04:39.540bit ago, you know, I always ask at the end of every podcast or the beginning, like, hey, bring me a
00:04:45.880friend. You know, that's all I ask. We're not asking for money. We're not selling anything.
00:04:49.360We're here to make a difference. And that's going to stay that way. So when you guys think about
00:04:57.540bringing a friend or you're going to bring somebody in, tell them to come listen to this
00:05:01.980episode. Tell them to come listen to episode 100 because we're going to go through what this is
00:05:06.440about. I've also got a couple of huge announcements at the end that I think you guys are going to really
00:05:11.320like. And I think you guys are going to really be pumped up about what we're about to do with this
00:05:19.740project. So before I get going, I'm going to let Vaughn say a few words and then we'll get right into
00:05:25.580it. Well, the only thing I want to add is just I'm also very thankful. It's been a great ride. And the
00:05:30.020other thing I just want to do is just throw down a challenge. I know a lot of the people that listen
00:05:33.560to us are active people. You guys are industrious. And a lot of times you multitask. You know,
00:05:40.180you work out or you do your chores, you work on your business while you listen to the podcast.
00:05:43.400And that's great. We encourage that. But I just want to challenge you this, what you're about to
00:05:47.600hear, what Andy's going to share. This is about as real as you're going to get. And so if you can,
00:05:53.340if you can afford to do it, if you've got the time, go off in the corner, put some headphones on,
00:05:58.740lock in and listen as closely as you can. Guys, I'm just going to get right into it. Okay.
00:06:06.220We started this project because we were sick and tired of what we see going on in society. The lack
00:06:16.140of responsibility, the lack of accountability, the lack of initiative, the finger pointing,
00:06:21.560the excuses, the entitlement. Our country is better than that. Our country is founded on principles and
00:06:31.040built by people with qualities that are far better than what our generation. And I don't care who is
00:06:37.500listening right now. I'm talking to you far better than our generation is presenting right now. And I
00:06:47.300don't see it getting any better. So I'm sitting here in my world, you know, where I do very well
00:06:52.820financially. Most people know that I've got a lot of companies. We do well, we make money, blah, blah,
00:06:58.240blah, blah, blah. But we came to an idea of having a higher purpose, a higher calling for the amount of
00:07:06.340time that we were spending on ourselves and wanted to give back. And that's where we came up with the
00:07:12.020idea for the MSCEO project. Okay. And two things you need to know right up the front about what we're
00:07:19.240about is this life is fucking great. And the second thing is life is fucking hard. Okay.
00:07:29.240Those are two facts. It's great. I don't believe in acting like life is all unicorns and rainbows. You guys know
00:07:36.860that I'm the last person to believe in the care bear. Everybody wins bullshit that society tries to throw down
00:07:44.000our throats. But I do believe in being an optimist and I do believe in being thankful for life. I
00:07:50.840believe in the principle of abundance. I believe that there's so much opportunity in our country
00:07:55.560and the whole world. But I also believe that society makes our people believe that they are entitled
00:08:04.040to the rewards and the opportunity that the world has to offer. They don't tell people how hard it is.
00:08:11.420They don't tell people what to expect. They don't tell people that they're going to have to grind out
00:08:16.820for 10 fucking years to get where they want to go. They want everybody to believe that it's easy
00:08:22.500and it isn't easy. It's hard. The world isn't a playground. It's a fucking battleground. The rules
00:08:30.040of kindergarten and kickball and ring around the Rosie, they don't fucking apply here. This is survival of
00:08:36.260the fittest. It's the way it is. That's the way it's always going to be. Period. And the problem I see
00:08:42.800with America right now, if we're going to get into this, is that people don't recognize that life,
00:08:48.760their life, is great. So what do they do? They bitch. They complain. They blame everybody else.
00:08:54.940And there's so much fucking discontent in our country that we're always blaming our lack of
00:08:59.780happiness on someone or something else. People do not recognize that happiness takes hard work.
00:09:08.740We make excuses for not getting things done. We make excuses for not living the life we want to live.
00:09:14.060We adopt entitlement mentality. We point our fingers and say how it's not fucking fair. We think we could
00:09:19.820be lazy and half-assed and things will just be hunky-dory and happy and we're all going to fucking win.
00:09:25.140And the reality is, guys, that is not the way it works. I don't care how many people want to legislate
00:09:32.280or teach or try to train our society that that's the way it works. It doesn't fucking work that way
00:09:39.480and it never is going to work that way. So what's the solution? What's the core transformation that has
00:09:47.100to take place in each and every one of us that will transform our country back to what made it great?
00:09:55.140Everybody's talking about make America great again. Well, guys, that starts with us. That starts with taking
00:10:00.560personal responsibility. That starts with leveling up our own skills, our own work ethic, our own lives.
00:10:07.600It starts with taking ownership of every single thing that we put our fucking hands on ever, whatever that might be.
00:10:16.580And here's the reality, guys. All I'm talking about is for you to embrace what it means to be alive and to be human and to have a purpose and to take pride in your fucking self.
00:10:30.600Okay? You exist so that you can influence your family. You can lead your family, the people around you, the people in your office, your city, your state, your country, possibly the world.
00:10:43.200That's a fact. You don't live just to be a worker fucking bee and crawl in and out of a hole all day long for your whole fucking life.
00:10:50.580But the question is, will you be a negative influence or a positive one? Will you leave the wreckage behind you or will you leave a fucking legacy behind you?
00:11:03.500Will you be part of the problem or will you be a motherfucking force and be part of the solution?
00:11:09.480I was born in 1979. Before that, I had zero impact because I didn't fucking exist.
00:11:17.060But the minute I entered the world as a human being, I entered with a mind, a will, and a heart.
00:11:24.120And I became a factor in history. I became part of the world and I could make a difference.
00:11:33.000And the same thing is true with you. The question is not, are you going to make an impact?
00:11:38.580You're already making an impact. No matter what you're doing, you are impacting people.
00:11:43.360The question is, what kind of impact are you making? What kind of impact are you going to make?
00:11:53.460Here's what I want you guys to understand. I don't think the average person is evil.
00:11:58.740But I do think the average person is passive. They just let things happen to them.
00:12:03.660They go down the river of life and pretend that they don't have paddles in the boat.
00:12:08.200And they go where the stream takes them. If it takes them over the waterfall, it takes them over the waterfall.
00:12:13.300It takes them into some rocks. It takes them into some rocks.
00:12:16.300They bitch and moan and they allow themselves to become so negative and they allow themselves to become part of the fucking problem
00:12:23.060instead of just picking up the motherfucking paddles and start paddling.
00:12:27.460Successful people are different. They know they are going to make an impact and they actively choose to make sure it's a positive one.
00:12:39.460They decide to do good. They decide to be good.
00:12:45.700But there are two other things that successful people do.
00:12:50.160There are two other things that people who impact the world, who transform culture, who leave legacies do.
00:14:24.520And when you realize that you're free to realize your own potential and free to be great, that's when you start seeing all of life as an opportunity.
00:14:37.180That's when you could say, fuck yeah, life isn't perfect, but you know what?
00:18:43.340So if you're 17, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 years old right now, and that's what you've been taught, I'm going to tell you right now, you better throw that shit in the fucking garbage.
00:19:22.440Guys, let me paint a picture for you here real quick.
00:19:25.760And let me cast the vision of, well, it's just something that you should think about.
00:19:32.100And I want you to imagine what things would look like in the world, in the United States, in your city, in your town, in your family, if everybody embraced the fact that they could be a force for good.
00:19:46.700If everybody took ownership of his or her life.
00:19:50.920If everybody adopted the killer instinct, the kill, kill, kill, the commitment to excellence and hard work.
00:19:58.780We wouldn't have the bullshit we have in society today.
00:24:40.100And if you did want that, you wouldn't be fucking listening now.
00:24:43.280The only thing I would add is that with regard to the actual mechanics of pursuing your goals, I would encourage people to check out Episode 9.
00:24:56.720And then just to emphasize, guys, that taking ownership and personal responsibility for your life does not mean that you have to do it alone.
00:25:04.260Surround yourself with people who help you kill it.
00:28:42.520And the only way that you're going to make it and that you're going to become who it is you want to become is by bottom lining things and seeing things for what they fucking are.
00:28:51.900And then making your decisions based upon that.
00:28:55.160Guys, I'm so appreciative for everything that you've done for us for the first 100 episodes.
00:30:22.900A lot of people don't know that about me.
00:30:24.420But we're here in the Midwest where there's a lot of farms.
00:30:28.200So, we were talking and we were talking about how hard he works.
00:30:34.220And he, you know, we got on the conversation of like, we always talk about tractors because like, you know, we're just like big kids and tractors are cool.
00:30:42.880And we started talking and one of us, I can't remember which one, said, man, just think of like the guys who did the farming before they had this equipment.
00:30:54.600Just think about the guys who went out and had to clear the massive fields tree by tree, root by root, stump by stump for hundreds of fucking acres.
00:31:38.280We're not, those people will laugh at us right now as a society.
00:31:41.440All this finger pointing and all this fucking, you know, whose fault it is and all this arguing and all this shit that we see on Facebook, 90 fucking percent of the posts.
00:31:58.860I want people to grow up and at least take responsibility for themselves.
00:32:03.360Because if they take responsibility, if you take responsibility for yourself, your family is going to learn to take responsibility for themselves.
00:32:32.960The question is, are you leading people the right way or are you leading people the wrong way?
00:32:39.200Because no matter who you are or what you do or where you come from or how much money you have or how much money you make or your level of influence, there are people that look up to you.
00:32:51.080Are those people looking up to you and seeing the right things?
00:32:57.340Are they seeing you take responsibility?
00:32:59.920Are they seeing you take accountability?
00:33:02.020Are they seeing you be a good neighbor or be a good husband or be a good father?
00:33:07.760Are they seeing you take pride in the details?
00:33:10.380Are they seeing you go the extra mile for people?
00:34:49.060Um, the second thing we're going to do is I'm going to take five people and what we're going to do is we're going to fly you out on all expenses paid trip here to St. Louis.
00:35:01.420You're going to get to come tour, uh, first form headquarters.
00:35:44.880I'm going to let Vaughn, uh, hit you up on the details here and let you know where you need to go to sign up and what you need to do to be a part of this.
