00:00:00.000 I wanna be a motherfuckin' hustler. You better ask somebody.
00:00:08.720 What is up, guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy, I'm your host,
00:00:17.120 and I am the motherfuckin' CEO. Guys, guess what today is? Today is the 100th episode
00:00:26.640 of the MFCEO Project. We're pretty proud of that. Can I say, like, aw, yeah. I think you just did.
00:00:36.140 As always, you guys know, if you've been listening, I'm here with my co-host, Vaughn,
00:00:41.280 the pastor of disaster. What's going on, buddy? I really add the urban vibe to this podcast.
00:00:47.740 You're so urban. Yeah, totally. So, 100th episode, man.
00:00:56.640 You know, I'm not big on recognizing milestones, and I'm always keeping my head down and
00:01:01.680 focus on what's ahead and what we need to do and how to get better. But it is kind of cool to take
00:01:07.720 a second and think about 100 episodes in and some of the things that I've heard back from people,
00:01:15.560 some of the growth we've had, you know, the amount of people that you guys have brought to the podcast,
00:01:20.800 bringing your friends in, you know, sending me the messages you do. Guys, it's been an awesome,
00:01:26.640 awesome journey so far. And I know I speak for Vaughn and Tyler and myself when I say
00:01:35.680 how much fun and how rewarding this is to do. You know, we don't make money off of this. We don't
00:01:42.880 take sponsors, really. I will rep products that I like, but I don't get paid for that. This is a
00:01:50.560 product of passion. It's a product of purpose. It's a product of us wanting to do something that
00:01:59.120 really matters. And we are having a tremendous time doing that. Today, I want to talk about,
00:02:09.300 we're going to do things a little bit differently. You know, first, I don't normally say what we're
00:02:14.860 going to do in the episode at the beginning of the episode. We kind of just lead into the
00:02:17.820 conversation and we just go from there. So if this is your first time listening, this is a little
00:02:22.040 bit different than what we normally do. We're going to do something a little bit special for
00:02:26.460 the 100th episode. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go through and tell you what we're going
00:02:31.680 to do, and then we're just going to get into it. First off, I'm going to break down the nuts and
00:02:38.000 bolts of what this project is about, okay? What you're going to hear in the next couple of minutes
00:02:44.200 is the MFCEO manifesto, okay? It's what we stand for. It's what we're all about. It's what this
00:02:51.600 movement is about, and it's what our mission is with this project. There's a reason we call it
00:02:56.660 the project. It's not just some catchy name that we came up with. I wanted to try to put this in
00:03:02.440 together in one episode because we couldn't have got here without you guys, and our movement is
00:03:08.660 spreading and growing. And you guys, every week, a lot of you guys are bringing in new people. You're
00:03:14.520 telling your friends. You're spreading the word, and we appreciate that. And we wanted to be able
00:03:19.380 to give you something special so that you could tell someone else, like, hey, here, go listen to
00:03:25.000 episode 100, and you'll figure out what this is all about. That's the purpose of this podcast. So if
00:03:30.780 you're somebody who has a friend who shared a link with you or told you to download this podcast,
00:03:35.320 let me formally welcome you to reality. We're glad you're here, but prepare to get your face
00:03:42.780 ripped off. Brace yourself for the fire and brimstone and the wholesale slaughter of unicorns.
00:03:51.120 Yeah, unicorns. And trust me, you're going to love it. Guys, the second thing I wanted to do
00:03:58.820 was to say thank you. Like I said, we couldn't have got here without you. Our listenership is growing
00:04:05.200 by hundreds of thousands every month. Our email box is so packed that we can't even get through all
00:04:10.940 the emails, and that's why it takes such a long time for us to get back to everybody. I apologize
00:04:15.500 for that. We're doing the best we can. But it's just overwhelming, the amount of support, the amount
00:04:23.740 of love, the amount of good vibes that you guys are giving us. And I don't know how to properly express
00:04:34.640 the gratitude that we all have for you guys and what you do. You know, I asked you guys a little
00:04:39.540 bit ago, you know, I always ask at the end of every podcast or the beginning, like, hey, bring me a
00:04:45.880 friend. You know, that's all I ask. We're not asking for money. We're not selling anything.
00:04:49.360 We're here to make a difference. And that's going to stay that way. So when you guys think about
00:04:57.540 bringing a friend or you're going to bring somebody in, tell them to come listen to this
00:05:01.980 episode. Tell them to come listen to episode 100 because we're going to go through what this is
00:05:06.440 about. I've also got a couple of huge announcements at the end that I think you guys are going to really
00:05:11.320 like. And I think you guys are going to really be pumped up about what we're about to do with this
00:05:19.740 project. So before I get going, I'm going to let Vaughn say a few words and then we'll get right into
00:05:25.580 it. Well, the only thing I want to add is just I'm also very thankful. It's been a great ride. And the
00:05:30.020 other thing I just want to do is just throw down a challenge. I know a lot of the people that listen
00:05:33.560 to us are active people. You guys are industrious. And a lot of times you multitask. You know,
00:05:40.180 you work out or you do your chores, you work on your business while you listen to the podcast.
00:05:43.400 And that's great. We encourage that. But I just want to challenge you this, what you're about to
00:05:47.600 hear, what Andy's going to share. This is about as real as you're going to get. And so if you can,
00:05:53.340 if you can afford to do it, if you've got the time, go off in the corner, put some headphones on,
00:05:58.740 lock in and listen as closely as you can. Guys, I'm just going to get right into it. Okay.
00:06:06.220 We started this project because we were sick and tired of what we see going on in society. The lack
00:06:16.140 of responsibility, the lack of accountability, the lack of initiative, the finger pointing,
00:06:21.560 the excuses, the entitlement. Our country is better than that. Our country is founded on principles and
00:06:31.040 built by people with qualities that are far better than what our generation. And I don't care who is
00:06:37.500 listening right now. I'm talking to you far better than our generation is presenting right now. And I
00:06:47.300 don't see it getting any better. So I'm sitting here in my world, you know, where I do very well
00:06:52.820 financially. Most people know that I've got a lot of companies. We do well, we make money, blah, blah,
00:06:58.240 blah, blah, blah. But we came to an idea of having a higher purpose, a higher calling for the amount of
00:07:06.340 time that we were spending on ourselves and wanted to give back. And that's where we came up with the
00:07:12.020 idea for the MSCEO project. Okay. And two things you need to know right up the front about what we're
00:07:19.240 about is this life is fucking great. And the second thing is life is fucking hard. Okay.
00:07:29.240 Those are two facts. It's great. I don't believe in acting like life is all unicorns and rainbows. You guys know
00:07:36.860 that I'm the last person to believe in the care bear. Everybody wins bullshit that society tries to throw down
00:07:44.000 our throats. But I do believe in being an optimist and I do believe in being thankful for life. I
00:07:50.840 believe in the principle of abundance. I believe that there's so much opportunity in our country
00:07:55.560 and the whole world. But I also believe that society makes our people believe that they are entitled
00:08:04.040 to the rewards and the opportunity that the world has to offer. They don't tell people how hard it is.
00:08:11.420 They don't tell people what to expect. They don't tell people that they're going to have to grind out
00:08:16.820 for 10 fucking years to get where they want to go. They want everybody to believe that it's easy
00:08:22.500 and it isn't easy. It's hard. The world isn't a playground. It's a fucking battleground. The rules
00:08:30.040 of kindergarten and kickball and ring around the Rosie, they don't fucking apply here. This is survival of
00:08:36.260 the fittest. It's the way it is. That's the way it's always going to be. Period. And the problem I see
00:08:42.800 with America right now, if we're going to get into this, is that people don't recognize that life,
00:08:48.760 their life, is great. So what do they do? They bitch. They complain. They blame everybody else.
00:08:54.940 And there's so much fucking discontent in our country that we're always blaming our lack of
00:08:59.780 happiness on someone or something else. People do not recognize that happiness takes hard work.
00:09:08.740 We make excuses for not getting things done. We make excuses for not living the life we want to live.
00:09:14.060 We adopt entitlement mentality. We point our fingers and say how it's not fucking fair. We think we could
00:09:19.820 be lazy and half-assed and things will just be hunky-dory and happy and we're all going to fucking win.
00:09:25.140 And the reality is, guys, that is not the way it works. I don't care how many people want to legislate
00:09:32.280 or teach or try to train our society that that's the way it works. It doesn't fucking work that way
00:09:39.480 and it never is going to work that way. So what's the solution? What's the core transformation that has
00:09:47.100 to take place in each and every one of us that will transform our country back to what made it great?
00:09:55.140 Everybody's talking about make America great again. Well, guys, that starts with us. That starts with taking
00:10:00.560 personal responsibility. That starts with leveling up our own skills, our own work ethic, our own lives.
00:10:07.600 It starts with taking ownership of every single thing that we put our fucking hands on ever, whatever that might be.
00:10:16.580 And here's the reality, guys. All I'm talking about is for you to embrace what it means to be alive and to be human and to have a purpose and to take pride in your fucking self.
00:10:30.600 Okay? You exist so that you can influence your family. You can lead your family, the people around you, the people in your office, your city, your state, your country, possibly the world.
00:10:43.200 That's a fact. You don't live just to be a worker fucking bee and crawl in and out of a hole all day long for your whole fucking life.
00:10:50.580 But the question is, will you be a negative influence or a positive one? Will you leave the wreckage behind you or will you leave a fucking legacy behind you?
00:11:03.500 Will you be part of the problem or will you be a motherfucking force and be part of the solution?
00:11:09.480 I was born in 1979. Before that, I had zero impact because I didn't fucking exist.
00:11:17.060 But the minute I entered the world as a human being, I entered with a mind, a will, and a heart.
00:11:24.120 And I became a factor in history. I became part of the world and I could make a difference.
00:11:33.000 And the same thing is true with you. The question is not, are you going to make an impact?
00:11:38.580 You're already making an impact. No matter what you're doing, you are impacting people.
00:11:43.360 The question is, what kind of impact are you making? What kind of impact are you going to make?
00:11:53.460 Here's what I want you guys to understand. I don't think the average person is evil.
00:11:58.740 But I do think the average person is passive. They just let things happen to them.
00:12:03.660 They go down the river of life and pretend that they don't have paddles in the boat.
00:12:08.200 And they go where the stream takes them. If it takes them over the waterfall, it takes them over the waterfall.
00:12:13.300 It takes them into some rocks. It takes them into some rocks.
00:12:16.300 They bitch and moan and they allow themselves to become so negative and they allow themselves to become part of the fucking problem
00:12:23.060 instead of just picking up the motherfucking paddles and start paddling.
00:12:27.460 Successful people are different. They know they are going to make an impact and they actively choose to make sure it's a positive one.
00:12:39.460 They decide to do good. They decide to be good.
00:12:45.700 But there are two other things that successful people do.
00:12:50.160 There are two other things that people who impact the world, who transform culture, who leave legacies do.
00:12:59.660 They take ownership of their lives.
00:13:04.000 They don't blame anyone else. They don't make excuses.
00:13:07.240 They take personal responsibility.
00:13:09.140 A lot of these motivational gurus and success podcasts talk about this topic so it's easy to tune out.
00:13:16.220 Everybody's like, oh, don't make excuses. Work hard. Blah, blah, blah.
00:13:19.400 And as I've talked about this topic a lot in the past, and when I do, I know it feels like I'm just kicking you in the ass.
00:13:26.460 But here's the truth, guys.
00:13:27.680 I want to make this point and I don't want you to miss it.
00:13:30.740 I'm not telling you this shit because I want you to just feel like I kicked you in the ass.
00:13:35.180 I'm telling you this because it's the only way you're going to be free and happy in life.
00:13:41.600 There's huge, enormous freedom in taking ownership of your life.
00:13:47.700 You don't have to buy the lie that you're held down by your age or economic status or gender or race or parents or where you're from
00:13:57.120 or where, you know, your last uncle from 27 generations ago if he was persecuted against.
00:14:04.500 You could say, no, I'm fucking free.
00:14:08.780 I have opportunity.
00:14:10.400 I'm free to be who I was meant to be.
00:14:14.120 My potential is not dependent on formal education or the government or anything else.
00:14:20.800 You are free.
00:14:23.060 And you're free to be great.
00:14:24.520 And when you realize that you're free to realize your own potential and free to be great, that's when you start seeing all of life as an opportunity.
00:14:37.180 That's when you could say, fuck yeah, life isn't perfect, but you know what?
00:14:42.100 It is really great.
00:14:43.460 And I am fucking pumped to engage and see what happens.
00:14:47.120 But if that's all I told you guys, that would be unicorn and rainbows.
00:14:51.480 That wouldn't be giving you the full story.
00:14:53.700 And you know I'm not about that.
00:14:55.080 Life isn't just great.
00:14:57.300 It's also fucking hard.
00:14:59.540 And that's why the people who want to be successful and happy and great agree with my third point,
00:15:04.520 which is you must be 100% committed to doing whatever is necessary to be your best.
00:15:12.840 And what I'm talking about here, guys, is something called work ethic.
00:15:16.580 I'm talking about a competitive attitude.
00:15:19.360 I'm talking about execution day in and day out with perfection on the fucking details.
00:15:27.800 When I was a little kid, my dad had us involved in sports.
00:15:32.260 And I have a brother who's 20 months younger than I am.
00:15:35.920 We always played on the same team.
00:15:39.220 And we would go to soccer practice, soccer games, and we were riding the back of the car.
00:15:47.820 And my dad would always talk to us on the way to the game.
00:15:51.200 He would teach us and try to get us pumped up to go to the game.
00:15:54.580 And so what he would do is he would tell us it was always the same thing.
00:15:57.800 And he would say, listen, Andrew and Sal, when you get in there, I want you to be aggressive.
00:16:06.140 I want you to go right after the ball.
00:16:07.920 I want you to go in the corner.
00:16:09.160 I want you to dig the puck out.
00:16:10.540 And we'd be like, dad, this is fucking soccer.
00:16:12.700 This isn't hockey.
00:16:13.400 He goes, I don't give a fuck what it is.
00:16:15.100 You need to be aggressive.
00:16:16.260 You need to go in the corner.
00:16:17.340 And you need to dig the puck out.
00:16:19.840 Now, what are we going to do?
00:16:21.320 And he had this chant that we chanted.
00:16:23.100 And we would go, kill, because we were like seven.
00:16:28.100 And he'd go, what are you going to do?
00:16:29.520 And we'd go, kill.
00:16:30.940 And he'd go, what are you going to do?
00:16:32.240 And we'd go, kill, kill, kill.
00:16:35.020 And guys, if that was like on CNN now, this dude would be in fucking jail.
00:16:40.700 Okay?
00:16:41.100 But what he was teaching us is a lesson that I am thankful for in ways that I can't even possibly explain to you.
00:16:48.680 He taught us to compete.
00:16:50.620 He taught us about working hard.
00:16:53.100 He taught us about executing.
00:16:55.020 You know what?
00:16:55.820 We went out there and kicked fucking ass.
00:16:57.920 And you know what he did after we kicked ass?
00:17:00.500 And this is actually the worst part of the story, but also the best part of the story.
00:17:03.840 If we scored a goal or we hurt another kid, he would take us to the fucking toy store and buy us a toy.
00:17:10.860 Now, think if that was on fucking CNN.
00:17:12.980 He'd definitely be in jail.
00:17:14.220 He would be.
00:17:14.940 Yeah.
00:17:15.080 But you know what?
00:17:16.740 The truth of the matter is, is that winners win and losers fucking lose.
00:17:22.860 And he taught us that when you win, you get rewarded.
00:17:25.500 And when you don't, you get shit.
00:17:27.280 And that's the way the world is.
00:17:29.380 You know, everybody talks about winning.
00:17:32.380 And they talk about how, you know, they're going to go through life.
00:17:36.840 And they're going to be great.
00:17:37.840 And they want to do all this shit.
00:17:40.220 But they don't want to do the fucking work that it takes.
00:17:42.900 They don't want to get their hands dirty.
00:17:44.320 They don't want to be the person who goes in the corner and gets the fucking puck out.
00:17:49.500 Average people say maybe, maybe, maybe.
00:17:52.640 If, if, if.
00:17:54.080 Someday, someday, someday.
00:17:55.840 Kinda, kinda, kinda.
00:17:57.640 Successful people fucking say kill, kill, kill.
00:18:02.920 Period.
00:18:04.200 They go in the corner and get the fucking puck.
00:18:07.460 They get their hands dirty.
00:18:09.440 And you know what?
00:18:10.280 They get a fucking toy after the game.
00:18:12.440 That's the way successful people work.
00:18:15.060 And you could sit there with your little rainbow attitude and say, oh, that doesn't sound very pleasant.
00:18:19.760 Well, guess what?
00:18:20.260 It isn't always pleasant.
00:18:21.160 But the truth of the matter is, is that the world is a very unforgiving place.
00:18:26.620 And the reason that we do this podcast is because our youth right now is brought up to believe that everybody fucking wins.
00:18:35.580 And that everybody deserves to win.
00:18:37.220 And that there's nothing that has to be done to have that to happen.
00:18:41.520 That's why we do this.
00:18:43.340 So if you're 17, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 years old right now, and that's what you've been taught, I'm going to tell you right now, you better throw that shit in the fucking garbage.
00:18:53.400 Because that's not how it works.
00:18:56.320 That story is one of those litmus tests that really help you determine what kind of person somebody is.
00:19:01.920 Because I swear I've shared that.
00:19:03.740 I totally got the point.
00:19:04.980 I've shared that story with a handful of people.
00:19:07.840 And you always know the person that doesn't get the point because they're like, wait, his dad wanted him to hurt somebody?
00:19:15.040 It's like, no, you missed the point.
00:19:17.580 Yeah.
00:19:18.020 Completely.
00:19:18.600 Right.
00:19:19.020 It's about being fucking aggressive.
00:19:20.620 Right.
00:19:22.440 Guys, let me paint a picture for you here real quick.
00:19:25.760 And let me cast the vision of, well, it's just something that you should think about.
00:19:32.100 And I want you to imagine what things would look like in the world, in the United States, in your city, in your town, in your family, if everybody embraced the fact that they could be a force for good.
00:19:46.700 If everybody took ownership of his or her life.
00:19:50.920 If everybody adopted the killer instinct, the kill, kill, kill, the commitment to excellence and hard work.
00:19:58.780 We wouldn't have the bullshit we have in society today.
00:20:01.460 We'd stop making excuses.
00:20:03.660 We'd stop blaming each other.
00:20:06.500 We would feel good about ourselves because we earned the things we have.
00:20:10.960 We would get shit done.
00:20:13.300 As individuals, we would seek greatness and that would draw us together in unity.
00:20:20.160 There wouldn't be any finger pointing.
00:20:21.900 There wouldn't be any divisions of socioeconomics or race.
00:20:26.300 We'd get along because we'd all be badass, motherfucking Americans like we are intended to be.
00:20:33.900 And I know there's a lot of people out there that listen internationally.
00:20:37.160 But these principles apply to you as well.
00:20:40.100 You want to improve your culture.
00:20:41.500 You want to improve your place where you live.
00:20:43.260 You want to improve your city, your town, your country.
00:20:46.620 Start with your fucking selves.
00:20:49.040 We all need to be the motherfucking CEO of our own lives.
00:20:54.240 And it would make a huge, great, giant impact towards a better life and a better world for all of us.
00:21:03.320 So here's what I want you to do, guys.
00:21:05.420 Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself genuinely,
00:21:09.920 what do I need to do to stop being a part of the problem and start being a part of the solution?
00:21:18.700 What do I need to change about my life to stop being passive and negative and start being active and positive?
00:21:27.400 I can't answer that for you.
00:21:29.100 Only you can answer that for yourself.
00:21:31.400 I want you to write up two lists.
00:21:35.300 The first is your list of excuses that you use to keep yourself enslaved to mediocrity.
00:21:41.640 The second is your list of goals that you want to accomplish.
00:21:46.180 And I want you to take the first list.
00:21:48.380 I want you to piss on it.
00:21:49.880 I want you to flush it.
00:21:51.180 I want you to burn it.
00:21:52.340 I want you to never let those excuses creep back into your life ever again.
00:21:57.060 And I want you to take the second list.
00:21:59.440 And I want you to let yourself dream.
00:22:01.940 I want you to make physical goals.
00:22:04.900 Make professional goals.
00:22:07.100 Make personal goals.
00:22:08.700 Make huge goals and make them so big that everybody fucking laughs at you and tells you you're fucking nuts.
00:22:16.080 Because guys, here's the thing.
00:22:17.800 Even if you fall short of those goals, you're still going to be awesome.
00:22:21.280 You're going to be in a great place.
00:22:22.940 You know, when people tell you to set obtainable goals and realistic goals, that's loser shit.
00:22:28.160 That's what fucking losers do.
00:22:30.260 Okay?
00:22:31.440 And no matter how many goals you make or how big they are, you're going to have to get to work.
00:22:37.440 Don't wait for permission to be great.
00:22:41.160 You don't need it.
00:22:42.240 Don't wait for someone to come along and validate your dream.
00:22:46.960 Because guess what?
00:22:48.020 They don't have the right.
00:22:49.560 And don't wait for the perfect scenario, guys, because it's never going to fucking happen.
00:22:53.960 Don't worry about the mistakes that you're going to make or things getting messy.
00:22:58.520 That's all part of the process.
00:23:00.360 That's part of the climb.
00:23:01.960 When you go to climb a mountain, you're going to slip sometimes.
00:23:05.200 You're going to fall backwards sometimes.
00:23:06.960 But as long as you keep putting one foot down in front of the other, guess what's going to happen?
00:23:12.060 You are going to get there.
00:23:15.320 You need to quit worrying about what's going to happen if you risk.
00:23:19.180 Worry about what's going to happen if you don't risk.
00:23:21.780 Don't fear the unknown or adversity or haters or the crazy culture that we live in.
00:23:28.800 Fear regret.
00:23:30.460 Fear mediocrity.
00:23:31.940 Fear an average life.
00:23:34.980 And don't think there's some secret sauce or magic formula for success and greatness that only the certain few selected elite know.
00:23:44.020 There is no secret.
00:23:46.200 It's not magic.
00:23:48.280 It's work.
00:23:49.500 It's execution.
00:23:50.600 It's persistence over the course of time.
00:23:56.700 Guys, you've got to do the work.
00:23:58.700 If you don't do the fucking work, you're never going to get the result.
00:24:03.260 It's that simple.
00:24:04.940 There is no fairy dust, pixie dust, rainbow unicorn fucking magic to it.
00:24:11.860 That's what society lets us believe.
00:24:14.120 They point at other people and they say, oh, well, that guy's so lucky or that guy was in the right place at the right time.
00:24:20.600 Or that guy had rich parents or that guy had this or that guy had that.
00:24:24.560 And they point to all these things that you don't fucking have so that you'll believe that you aren't good enough.
00:24:30.940 And you'll just take the route of worker B and become another part, another cog of the machine.
00:24:38.860 And that's not what you want.
00:24:40.100 And if you did want that, you wouldn't be fucking listening now.
00:24:43.280 The only thing I would add is that with regard to the actual mechanics of pursuing your goals, I would encourage people to check out Episode 9.
00:24:51.520 It's one of our earliest episodes.
00:24:53.280 Kill it every day.
00:24:54.120 It's the MFCEO.com forward slash P9.
00:24:56.720 And then just to emphasize, guys, that taking ownership and personal responsibility for your life does not mean that you have to do it alone.
00:25:04.260 Surround yourself with people who help you kill it.
00:25:06.420 I suggest Episode 4.
00:25:07.480 It's one of our earliest ones.
00:25:08.820 And as Andy has said a lot of times, we've gotten way better now.
00:25:12.400 Our most recent podcasts are way better than our earliest ones.
00:25:15.500 But that one's really good.
00:25:16.500 Peer pressure will help you dominate or do nothing.
00:25:19.300 TheMFCEO.com forward slash P4.
00:25:21.680 Guys, I've got an announcement that I'm going to get to here in just a second.
00:25:27.560 But before I do, I want to say something to you, okay?
00:25:32.240 This is a movement.
00:25:35.620 All right?
00:25:36.200 We all want to make an impact.
00:25:37.920 We all want to make a difference.
00:25:39.440 We all want to matter.
00:25:44.440 By spreading the word about this message, by spreading the word about these values, by spreading the word about this podcast,
00:25:52.400 we are mattering.
00:25:54.240 We are making a difference.
00:25:55.800 We are impacting people.
00:25:57.300 I know you guys don't see the day-to-day emails that we get.
00:26:01.460 And you don't see the messages I get.
00:26:03.560 And you don't see the snaps I get from people or anything.
00:26:08.660 But I am telling you guys, we are making a big fucking difference.
00:26:13.540 People are changing their lives.
00:26:16.160 People are taking responsibility.
00:26:18.700 People are doing the work.
00:26:20.220 They're accepting where they are.
00:26:22.780 And they're saying, you know what?
00:26:24.200 I know not everybody's going to fucking win.
00:26:26.440 But I'm going to win.
00:26:28.540 We are making a difference, guys.
00:26:30.080 And this is a movement.
00:26:31.260 This isn't just some fucking podcast like all the other ones out there.
00:26:34.860 Where we interview so-and-so and interview so-and-so and interview so-and-so and try to boost our following so I could sell you some shit.
00:26:41.400 I'm not fucking selling you anything.
00:26:43.340 I'm trying to make a difference.
00:26:45.140 I'm trying to bring back a culture that has been lost.
00:26:48.920 I'm trying to make, when Trump talks about making America great again, I'm trying to make America great again.
00:26:54.700 And I'm doing it for fucking free.
00:26:57.980 Guys, I love you guys.
00:27:00.340 I want the best for you.
00:27:02.020 I want the best possible life you could ever have.
00:27:06.160 People ask me all the time why I do this.
00:27:09.060 Why do I put so much effort into it?
00:27:10.800 And why am I so fucking passionate about it?
00:27:13.200 Because, guys, I know that we as a country can do a lot fucking better than we're doing.
00:27:18.460 And I know that I was very fortunate to have a dad who taught me things that maybe you all didn't have.
00:27:26.820 And I want to pass that on.
00:27:29.320 I firmly believe I was blessed to have the greatest fucking dad on the face of the earth.
00:27:35.300 When it comes to, like, being an entrepreneur, being successful, teaching you how to move through life properly.
00:27:41.240 And I get that's a matter of opinion.
00:27:44.740 But that's my fucking opinion.
00:27:47.020 All right?
00:27:47.440 Was he the nicest guy in the world?
00:27:48.980 Not all the time.
00:27:50.260 Was he rough?
00:27:51.380 Yes.
00:27:52.160 Was he tough?
00:27:53.040 Yes.
00:27:53.620 But you know what?
00:27:54.520 He prepared us for the reality of the world.
00:27:57.640 And I don't see that happening right now.
00:27:59.660 I don't see the generation coming up and moving up with that equipped to fight that battle.
00:28:08.260 You know?
00:28:09.200 And I want to change that.
00:28:11.240 I want people to be equipped to fight in reality.
00:28:16.060 I want people to be able to bottom line things and see things for how they are, not how they should be.
00:28:22.180 We could talk about idealism all fucking day, guys.
00:28:25.300 How things should be.
00:28:26.920 But it doesn't matter how things should be.
00:28:29.100 What matters is how they are and how we react and make decisions based upon the facts.
00:28:35.940 Not the fucking idealist theory.
00:28:38.820 The world is the way it is, guys.
00:28:42.520 And the only way that you're going to make it and that you're going to become who it is you want to become is by bottom lining things and seeing things for what they fucking are.
00:28:51.900 And then making your decisions based upon that.
00:28:55.160 Guys, I'm so appreciative for everything that you've done for us for the first 100 episodes.
00:29:01.640 Okay?
00:29:02.580 We wouldn't be here without you guys.
00:29:04.760 We have made a ton of progress.
00:29:06.780 My goal for this podcast is to be the number one fucking podcast in the world.
00:29:11.660 Not a top rated one like we are now.
00:29:14.580 I want to be number one.
00:29:15.480 And I want to be number one because I know if we're number one, other people will hear these words.
00:29:22.100 Other people will hear this message.
00:29:24.060 Other people will make changes in their lives.
00:29:28.420 I'm not getting fucking paid for this.
00:29:30.500 I'm not getting a reward for this.
00:29:32.880 I could care less.
00:29:33.880 I've got everything in the world I ever fucking need or want.
00:29:37.720 But you know what I really want now is I want people to change.
00:29:42.420 I want people to progress.
00:29:44.120 I want people to get back to being the hard-working, badass, kick-ass motherfuckers that we used to be.
00:29:52.820 You know, I was talking to my father-in-law this weekend.
00:29:56.500 I had a baptism and I was the godfather of my sister-in-law's new baby.
00:30:02.040 And we were talking.
00:30:04.340 He's a farmer and very, very hard-working man.
00:30:08.320 Old school.
00:30:09.380 He's just over 60 years old.
00:30:11.860 The guy can outwork anybody I know.
00:30:15.860 And we started talking about farming.
00:30:18.140 And if you didn't know, I have a farm and I'm interested in farming.
00:30:20.820 And I do some farming myself.
00:30:22.900 A lot of people don't know that about me.
00:30:24.420 But we're here in the Midwest where there's a lot of farms.
00:30:28.200 So, we were talking and we were talking about how hard he works.
00:30:34.220 And he, you know, we got on the conversation of like, we always talk about tractors because like, you know, we're just like big kids and tractors are cool.
00:30:42.880 And we started talking and one of us, I can't remember which one, said, man, just think of like the guys who did the farming before they had this equipment.
00:30:54.600 Just think about the guys who went out and had to clear the massive fields tree by tree, root by root, stump by stump for hundreds of fucking acres.
00:31:04.360 Those were men.
00:31:06.620 Those were hardworking people.
00:31:09.720 None of us.
00:31:11.860 Nobody listening to this podcast understands that kind of work.
00:31:15.660 I don't care what you do.
00:31:17.760 I don't care who you are.
00:31:19.460 I don't care what fucking jobs you've had.
00:31:21.540 Because I've had some of the hardest labor jobs that there are.
00:31:24.320 Pouring concrete, carrying concrete forms.
00:31:27.260 All the nasty shit.
00:31:29.580 And I'm going to tell you right now.
00:31:31.700 None of you know how to fucking work like those motherfuckers knew how to work.
00:31:35.820 And that's my point.
00:31:38.280 We're not, those people will laugh at us right now as a society.
00:31:41.440 All this finger pointing and all this fucking, you know, whose fault it is and all this arguing and all this shit that we see on Facebook, 90 fucking percent of the posts.
00:31:52.840 They would laugh at us.
00:31:54.080 We're being a bunch of fucking pussies.
00:31:57.040 And I want that to change.
00:31:58.860 I want people to grow up and at least take responsibility for themselves.
00:32:03.360 Because if they take responsibility, if you take responsibility for yourself, your family is going to learn to take responsibility for themselves.
00:32:13.360 And that's how this works.
00:32:15.040 It's not something the government can legislate.
00:32:17.840 It's not a law they can put in place.
00:32:20.120 It's not a rule.
00:32:21.480 It's not a book.
00:32:22.500 It's nothing other than how you fucking act inside your own motherfucking life.
00:32:28.880 That's what this movement's about.
00:32:31.120 You're all leaders, guys.
00:32:32.960 The question is, are you leading people the right way or are you leading people the wrong way?
00:32:39.200 Because no matter who you are or what you do or where you come from or how much money you have or how much money you make or your level of influence, there are people that look up to you.
00:32:51.080 Are those people looking up to you and seeing the right things?
00:32:57.340 Are they seeing you take responsibility?
00:32:59.920 Are they seeing you take accountability?
00:33:02.020 Are they seeing you be a good neighbor or be a good husband or be a good father?
00:33:07.760 Are they seeing you take pride in the details?
00:33:10.380 Are they seeing you go the extra mile for people?
00:33:12.580 And a million other fucking things.
00:33:16.620 We could be better, guys.
00:33:18.400 And that's what this is about.
00:33:19.860 With that being said, we've got a special gift for you guys.
00:33:25.520 As you guys are aware, this is our hundredth episode.
00:33:29.420 And, you know, that's a pretty big milestone for a podcast.
00:33:33.100 Most people get in, they do five or ten or twenty podcasts and they quit.
00:33:37.420 Our show has continued to grow.
00:33:39.120 It's continued to climb.
00:33:40.080 It's continued to kick ass because of you guys.
00:33:43.200 And we want to show our appreciation for you guys for helping us do that and spread this message.
00:33:50.140 So we came up with the idea of having a contest or a giveaway or whatever you want to call it.
00:33:56.200 And we're going to give out some prizes.
00:33:58.400 Okay.
00:33:59.000 So the first thing that we're going to do is we're going to take 40 of you guys and we're going to do at least an hour long free video.
00:34:10.420 conference Q&A.
00:34:11.400 All right.
00:34:11.620 And I'm going to jump that into two different groups so that we can actually interact and get to talk.
00:34:16.680 My face will be on the screen.
00:34:18.740 You'll have the pleasure of looking at my handsome face.
00:34:21.180 I'll see your faces and they'll be much smaller.
00:34:24.320 So I won't be able to appreciate how handsome you are as much as you'll be able to appreciate my handsomeness.
00:34:29.700 And we're going to have at least an hour long.
00:34:32.200 But, you know, usually when I do the hour long, I try to give as much as I can.
00:34:36.040 You guys know that.
00:34:37.460 So we're going to do two video conferences, 20 people each, a Q&A, talk business, bullshit, whatever you guys want to talk about.
00:34:48.040 It's going to be up to you.
00:34:49.060 Um, the second thing we're going to do is I'm going to take five people and what we're going to do is we're going to fly you out on all expenses paid trip here to St. Louis.
00:35:01.420 You're going to get to come tour, uh, first form headquarters.
00:35:05.140 We're going to have dinner.
00:35:06.340 We're going to hang out.
00:35:07.340 We're going to get time to know each other and it's going to be a good fucking time.
00:35:10.980 Uh, during the day at some point, we're going to sit down in my conference room.
00:35:14.500 We're going to do, uh, the same thing we did with the live Q&A where I'm going to sit down for at least an hour, probably longer.
00:35:20.200 We're going to talk business.
00:35:21.440 We're going to talk concepts.
00:35:22.840 I'm going to be there for you at your disposal so that you can ask me anything you want.
00:35:27.540 All right.
00:35:28.320 Now that we're doing five people for that.
00:35:30.580 No spouses, no friends, no significant others.
00:35:33.740 It's you by yourself.
00:35:35.700 You come out.
00:35:36.780 It's just for a day.
00:35:38.020 We're going to, we're going to put you up in a nice hotel, the nicest one here in St. Louis, and it's going to be a great time.
00:35:43.360 So that's what we're going to do.
00:35:44.880 I'm going to let Vaughn, uh, hit you up on the details here and let you know where you need to go to sign up and what you need to do to be a part of this.
00:35:52.280 Okay.
00:35:52.680 As Andy says all the time, if you cannot follow directions, you do not deserve to get a prize or anything good.
00:36:00.580 So make sure when you go to the website that you clearly follow all the directions that are listed on the webpage.
00:36:06.240 So the MFCEO.com forward slash contest, visit there.
00:36:12.400 The deadline for this contest is Wednesday, November 9th.
00:36:15.760 So if you're listening to this podcast and it's Thursday, November 10th, you are too late.
00:36:20.300 Sorry.
00:36:20.560 But there will be other, other opportunities.
00:36:22.920 We will post the winners of the, uh, of the video conference.
00:36:27.160 We'll post those on Tuesday, November 22nd.
00:36:30.800 And then we'll post or announce the grand prize winners on Wednesday, November 23rd.
00:36:36.640 Andy, you know what the significant about that day is?
00:36:39.640 Yeah, man.
00:36:40.160 It's the day before my favorite day.
00:36:41.900 Yeah.
00:36:42.420 You know what my favorite day is, Vaughn?
00:36:44.240 It's the day I get to eat fucking everything.
