00:00:00.000 what is up guys you're listening to the mf ceo project i'm andy i'm your host and i am 0.83
00:00:10.800 the motherfucking ceo guys today is thursday thunder but i want to instead of just going 0.85
00:00:16.920 on straight motivation and and you know going on a little rant about motivating and blah blah blah 0.97
00:00:22.800 i just want to tell you a story um and talk to you a little bit about business in general
00:00:29.380 i just had an amazing meeting with these two young guys 25 26 years old they started a tequila
00:00:36.020 company okay and the tequila is called suavecito it's s-u-a-v-e-c-i-t-o okay and you could you can
00:00:45.060 check them out at suavecito tequila.com okay it's s-u-a-v-e-c-i-t-o anyway and and i never plug
00:00:53.420 anything i'm not plugging this either i have no interest in this full i have no money in this it's
00:00:57.220 not my company it's just these two guys that i i got the chance to meet with and i've tried their
00:01:02.400 tequila they sent me some to try um i've i've got to tell you no no hesitation it is probably the best
00:01:12.360 tequila that i've ever had and i've i've drank my fair share of tequilas okay now we sat here and we
00:01:19.180 talked for the last two or three hours they're stopping by because they're friends with one of
00:01:22.760 the guys that works here in the office and so we i came in the lobby we shook hands we started
00:01:27.040 bullshitting and we got into like breaking their brand down and talking about all the challenges
00:01:31.420 that brands have um when they grow and these guys started telling me some of the challenges they had
00:01:37.500 which i'm not going to get into but they're normal challenges uh they started out they're two years in
00:01:42.920 they started out their first year uh they did less than 200 000 this year they're going to do over a
00:01:48.060 million uh and and they were talking to me about how you know they felt good about the way the
00:01:52.520 company was going and then they started telling me a little bit of the obstacles and this and that
00:01:56.540 neither one of the guys are getting paid they're not making any money um you know all these things
00:02:01.400 but guys i walked away from the meeting and we found some good solutions we had some good ideas we
00:02:08.520 just you know i tried to help them as much as i could like i do to anybody i talk to um they didn't
00:02:13.260 you know pay to come and consult we're just bullshitting about business which is what i like 0.81
00:02:16.800 but i gotta tell you guys i walked away from the meeting so encouraged about these two guys um
00:02:22.760 their product is amazing okay and that's the point of what i want to talk about today all right so many
00:02:31.440 so many entrepreneurs now and i'm talking to you guys you guys think you're going to start a 0.79
00:02:36.760 fucking business and you're going to make a half-assed product and you're going to charge a price that 0.89
00:02:42.280 makes you a lot of money and you're going to somehow become wealthy and guys let me tell you 1.00
00:02:48.120 something and i need you to understand this with 100 certainty if your product sucks you will not be 0.63
00:02:55.820 successful there was a time and in our lives when you could sell a product that was inferior and you 0.89
00:03:03.620 could sell a product that wasn't very good and you could sell a product that didn't do what it was
00:03:07.740 supposed to do but that time is over now we have social media now we have the internet now we have 1.00
00:03:14.740 ways to connect now we have review sites and if you make a shitty fucking product word about your shitty 0.99
00:03:21.680 fucking product spreads immediately so guys if you're an entrepreneur and you're a guy who thinks 0.99
00:03:28.540 that uh you can somehow fool the rest of society into buying your product or you could make fancy 0.99
00:03:35.740 packaging and it's going to make up for the quality of your product or you can figure out some connection 0.98
00:03:41.200 that you have and it's going to sell your product even if it's an inferior product you are fucking mistaken 0.95
00:03:46.880 okay people ask me all the time what's the best marketing strategy you could have you know what the 0.99
00:03:54.360 best marketing strategy you could have is have a great fucking product all right so many of you guys try to 0.95
00:04:00.680 make up with this with this sales technique or that sales technique or this or that or this or this 0.96
00:04:04.980 guys bringing legitimate value to people is never going to go out of style it's never going to be
00:04:13.660 beaten by anything other than a better product or people who put more value out and you have to
00:04:20.480 understand this applies to you whether you're sweeping the floor or whether you're making an actual
00:04:24.620 product if you're sweeping the floor guess who the product is you if you're running a company guess 0.94
00:04:30.380 what the product is whatever the fuck you make but i'm going to tell you right now guys if you're 0.99
00:04:34.560 going at it like it's so popular right now on the internet to scam people out of fucking money you will 0.99
00:04:42.320 not make it people can make a few dollars scamming people people can make a you know you could make a 0.98
00:04:51.260 couple thousand dollars cup you know a couple tens of thousands of dollars scamming people but what
00:04:55.140 happens after that you're not building a legitimate brand you're not building a legitimate company 0.99
00:04:59.880 you're not actually providing any real value and you end up ruining your own fucking name to where 0.97
00:05:05.420 people will not do business with you and they don't trust you guys the integrity behind your name 0.99
00:05:10.560 is fucking everything and i know that it is tempting when you don't have any money to make money 0.95
00:05:16.840 by any means possible but guys resist that temptation because a most of the things that you try to do that 0.98
00:05:23.860 with will not work anyway and b they will ruin your name in the process and when you ruin your name
00:05:29.400 guys word gets around fast the world is actually really fucking small and you can only scam so people 0.95
00:05:36.580 people for so much before everybody knows what the fuck you are and what you're about and guys that 0.97
00:05:42.120 integrity behind your name is fucking everything and so this message today guys it might not be 0.98
00:05:48.000 motivational it's more of a plea to you young people who are out there trying to make money 0.99
00:05:53.740 you're trying to hustle you're trying to become wealthy and you want to have all the cool shit 0.99
00:05:58.420 like i show you you know lambos and fucking rolls royce and fly on private jets and all that shit 1.00
00:06:03.200 guys the only way to really have that shit is to become truly wealthy by building a brand 1.00
00:06:09.660 you're not going to nickel and dime your way to you know scamming your way into making that sort of 0.99
00:06:17.760 money it's not going to happen the internet provides feedback too fucking fast now all right there was a 0.94
00:06:25.360 time like i said back 20 25 years ago when you could actually sell a product that didn't do what
00:06:31.540 it said and it took so long for people to find out that it wasn't as good that you could actually make
00:06:38.460 quite a bit of money doing that is that morally correct absolutely not is it did it happen yes
00:06:43.280 all right the good news is guys is that when you make a great product just like word of mouth spreads
00:06:50.200 negatively word of mouth spreads positively that fast so instead of trying to think about how you're
00:06:56.120 going to scam somebody or or maybe not even scam maybe just make a cheaper product or a less or
00:07:02.580 inferior product present it as a good product and you're saying oh well you know that's marketing
00:07:07.180 all right i i see that you know you're playing playing on the edge all right fine instead of thinking 0.93
00:07:12.120 like that guys let's think like this how can we make the best fucking product how can we make the 0.99
00:07:17.760 best fucking product for someone's dollar to where they say holy fucking shit this is awesome and then 0.99
00:07:23.420 they go out and they tell their fucking friends about it and and and you make a product there's a 0.99
00:07:27.680 book about this guys i believe it's on uh the badass book list on the msco website it's called the 0.99
00:07:33.180 purple cow okay it's by seth godin and the premise of the book is this people see the same shit over and
00:07:39.200 over and over again why not make a product that is remarkable to the point where people have to talk 0.81
00:07:45.360 about it okay why not do a service that is remarkable to where people have to talk about it using the word 0.89
00:07:52.520 remarkable in a literal sense you are so fucking good at sweeping that warehouse floor that people
00:08:00.140 talk about how great you are and therein lies the key to success guys everybody thinks that their job 0.93
00:08:07.200 doesn't matter everybody thinks that they're getting passed over everybody thinks that they're
00:08:11.020 getting screwed everybody thinks that they're getting unfairly treated but let me ask you something
00:08:16.180 how many of the things that you did today at your job were remarkable to the point where if your boss 0.99
00:08:24.600 walked in he couldn't help but say holy shit you did a fucking amazing job because that's what it takes 0.98
00:08:32.900 to succeed it takes being remarkable it takes people like these young men who own suavecito making a 0.99
00:08:40.060 tremendously amazing fucking product to where when i tried it and i get sent all kinds of free shit all 0.99
00:08:46.580 the time and a lot of it sucks but when i tried it i said holy fucking shit this is amazing okay and it's so 0.99
00:08:54.860 it doesn't matter what their problems are or what obstacles they have they will fucking win because their 0.99
00:09:01.060 shit is the best and guys there's always room for people who are the best it doesn't matter if 0.99
00:09:07.720 you're making tequila it doesn't matter if you're making fucking supplements like i do it doesn't 1.00
00:09:12.220 matter if you're sweeping the fucking floor do shit that makes other people say holy shit this is 1.00
00:09:19.120 amazing and when you can do that you could make a lot of fucking money a lot more fucking money than you 0.99
00:09:25.320 will ever fucking dream of taking the mentality of cutting people short cutting corners trying to 0.99
00:09:32.740 get the most forgiving the least you will not win that way and so many of you young motherfuckers that 0.99
00:09:41.500 listen to this podcast think that's the way to go it's not the way to go is to do shit the right way 0.99
00:09:47.220 the way to go is to do things over the top the way to go is to be the fucking best you possibly can 0.97
00:09:53.860 and keep improving what that best is on a day-by-day basis okay i always define success people define 0.97
00:10:02.940 success all different ways they'll say what's success oh success is 10 million dollars in the bank
00:10:07.500 100 million 50 50 million uh success is raising my family the right way success is blah blah blah blah blah blah
00:10:14.260 i used to define success as the fulfillment of one's true potential but then it came to me
00:10:22.480 that you could actually never fulfill your potential so i changed my definition to success is the pursuit
00:10:31.240 of the fulfillment of one's own potential because guys when you when you pursue your potential you develop
00:10:40.260 new skills and when those new skills are are becoming part of who you are and you're using them
00:10:45.900 your potential expands all right so you can never be actually as good as what your potential is because
00:10:52.820 you're always acquiring new tools you're always growing your potential you're always becoming more
00:10:57.980 equipped to be actually better so instead of looking at it as i'm going to actually achieve my potential
00:11:03.620 you have to look at it as i am going to pursue the achievement of my potential so that i can live
00:11:10.680 the best possible life that that i can and guys when you put out good value and when you get better
00:11:17.240 and when you improve on a daily basis even if it's that a tiny a one-tenth of one percent improvement 0.94
00:11:24.220 on the way you swept the floor or the way you made your burger or the way you fucking filled out your 0.99
00:11:28.900 reports or the way you designed your content or the way you wrote your posts or the way that
00:11:33.520 you dressed or any of these things you're on a road to becoming successful but the minute you think
00:11:40.800 that you're going to cheat success by cutting back on one of these things and fooling everybody
00:11:46.860 realize that you are going down the wrong path because you are starting to develop a habit in yourself 0.99
00:11:53.800 of giving the least and expecting the most and i can tell you right now motherfuckers that spend their 1.00
00:12:00.280 whole lives on a fucking bar stool in the middle of the week or the afternoon and wonder why their life 1.00
00:12:06.060 stomped all over their fucking throats and kicked them in the nuts is because they are always looking 1.00
00:12:11.160 for the angle the angle the angle is this do the best you can the angle is this make the best you can 1.00
00:12:19.420 the angle is this provide the most value that you can and guys that got me excited today when i saw
00:12:27.120 these young guys in the midst of all these hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs these days that think
00:12:33.180 they're going to create this you know online course for you to buy to be successful when they've never
00:12:38.600 fucking earned any money themselves or they're going to start a you know an internet company selling 0.99
00:12:45.520 shitty ass supplements that you know aren't really there for any other reason than to make them money 1.00
00:12:51.320 you know when i see all this bullshit going around guys and i find some guys who are who are trying to 1.00
00:12:58.420 build a real fucking brand they're going after the big picture they're taking the time to do shit right 0.99
00:13:04.240 they're out there hustling they're grinding they're doing the work guys that gets me excited that gets 0.99
00:13:09.440 me pumped that gives me hope in our generation so my talk today while i had this whole entire
00:13:15.400 motivational post to talk to you about uh i i just wanted to share that with you guys that's what
00:13:22.080 gets me fucking excited that's what gives me you know that chill about entrepreneurship is seeing young 0.70
00:13:28.420 people understand the big picture and chasing that so guys if you're listening to this podcast and you're 0.59
00:13:34.360 somebody who's considering a business or you're somebody who is is working in the warehouse and you want
00:13:39.020 to become an executive one day and make a great living understand that you have to be the real 0.88
00:13:44.120 fucking deal you've got to see the big picture you've got to put in the work and you've got to 0.99
00:13:48.720 do shit the right way and i know a lot of you guys think this shit is common sense but it fucking isn't 1.00
00:13:54.200 it just isn't look how many people are online presenting this fake life trying to sell you guys 1.00
00:13:59.840 these fake courses and they've never even built a real fucking company well how the fuck you're going 0.98
00:14:04.380 to sell building a real company or becoming wealthy if you ain't never been wealthy and you never built a 1.00
00:14:08.700 real company all right don't be a fucking predator don't be a piece of shit 1.00
00:14:14.000 don't be a douchebag do shit the right way take pride in what the fuck you do 1.00
00:14:18.860 and i guarantee you if you develop those habits you're gonna find success 1.00
00:14:22.720 you
