REAL AF with Andy Frisella - YOU COMPLETED 75HARD： Now What？, with Andy Frisella - MFCEO307

00:00:00.000 I can stack them hundreds to the roof. I ain't stopping till they stack to the moon.

00:00:04.780 Without me, my family wouldn't have food. Anybody go against me gotta lose.

00:00:11.860 What is up guys? You're listening to the MFCEO Project. I'm Andy. I'm your host and I am

00:00:17.960 the motherfucking CEO. Guys, today we have a full length podcast with my co-host Vaughn, 0.98

00:00:25.820 the pastor of Disaster, a.k.a. Vaughn Diesel, a.k.a. Vaughn Bon Jovi, a.k.a. DJ DJ God.

00:00:35.680 Vaughn Halen.

00:00:36.520 A.k.a. Vaughn Halen, a.k.a. Vaughn Swoller, a.k.a. Vaughn the Impaler, a.k.a.

00:00:46.420 Vincent Vaughn Go.

00:00:47.540 Vincent Vaughn Go. What's happening, my man?

00:00:53.800 We're getting ready for Summer Smash.

00:00:55.820 This week has been insanely busy.

00:00:58.840 Yes.

00:00:59.460 But, I did make a promise yesterday that I was going to put out a podcast today on 75 Hard

00:01:05.940 and Phase 1 to help people understand what and where and why, but mainly the what they need to do.

00:01:17.620 We're having some people finish Phase 1 right now. 0.98

00:01:20.840 Now, a lot of people are probably like, what the fuck are you talking about?

00:01:25.640 Well, why don't you hand on, what's the episode number we did on 75 Hard there? 0.93

00:01:30.320 Oh, that's a good question.

00:01:31.980 Well, I'm going to look it up in my handy dandy iPhone.

00:01:34.180 It's going to take me a while.

00:01:38.200 Yeah, if you haven't listened to the 75 Hard podcast, which is a tactical guide to winning

00:01:47.400 the war with yourself that I did on March 4th or 5th, you need to go listen to that first.

00:01:57.600 Okay, so that would be the prerequisite for this episode.

00:02:01.620 On March 4th or 5th, I think the 5th for me, I started what is now known as a massive global

00:02:10.480 movement called 75 Hard, which is designed very specifically to create the qualities that

00:02:20.260 you have been looking for your entire life, but haven't been able to find.

00:02:25.280 And the reason you haven't been able to find them is because no one's ever shown you how

00:02:29.880 to cultivate them.

00:02:31.800 Instead, they've taught you to think that the qualities of grit, fortitude, the ability to

00:02:41.520 endure, self-confidence, self-esteem, self-belief, all of these intangible qualities that create

00:02:49.440 discipline and mental toughness, people have been led to believe that you are either born

00:02:56.100 with those things or not.

00:02:58.740 And if you think and pay attention and become aware enough, you will notice that this is

00:03:04.520 how most self-help people make their money.

00:03:08.080 They make their money by selling you the idea of you should have these things, but you don't.

00:03:15.480 So this is what you got to do.

00:03:16.940 And they tell you to do things like affirmations, or they tell you to do things like read this

00:03:24.560 book, or you should just believe and you are worth it and this, that, and the other. 0.81

00:03:29.940 And I've been saying for decades, literally since the beginning of fucking time and my time,

00:03:37.940 that those things are actually skills. 0.79

00:03:40.640 They are skills that you can cultivate, that you can fine tune, that you can develop through

00:03:47.760 practicing certain things.

00:03:50.860 That's what the 75 hard program is about.

00:03:54.560 Is it about you doing things consistently that are uncomfortable, that will help you to sharpen

00:04:02.760 your skill set, that will create the foundation that you can build whatever it is you want.

00:04:10.660 Okay?

00:04:11.820 Now, most people just skip right to the building phase.

00:04:15.800 They're going to go out, they're going to buy a course on how to make money.

00:04:19.160 They're going to buy some courses on how to have a good relationship.

00:04:21.920 They might read some books, which is great.

00:04:24.640 They're going to do all these different things, right?

00:04:26.940 Um, they're going to buy supplements, they're going to buy fitness programs, they're going 0.99

00:04:32.520 to buy all this shit thinking that it's going to solve their problem. 0.98

00:04:38.800 And those things do help solve the problem. 0.99

00:04:41.500 But only when you have the foundation built for you to build something upon, just like you

00:04:47.920 would build a house, guys.

00:04:49.220 If you build a house on top of just dirt, the house is far more likely to be blown over.

00:04:56.680 Or to crumble, or to fall apart, all right?

00:05:00.240 When you build a house on top of a really strong, solid, deep foundation, you're far less likely

00:05:09.180 to have the issues of the house crumbling, to have the issues of the house falling apart,

00:05:15.300 for the wind to come through and blow it over, all right?

00:05:18.360 It makes your life sustainable.

00:05:21.440 Because now you've developed the skills that are going to be the cornerstone of all the

00:05:28.460 other successes that you're going to have in life, all right?

00:05:32.460 That is the purpose of this program.

00:05:34.640 This is not a body transformation program.

00:05:37.580 This is a very specific program designed to cultivate the things that you cannot cultivate 0.98

00:05:45.240 by just thinking about it, or talking about it, or having fucking Skypes about it with your 0.98

00:05:54.220 therapist, okay? 0.98

00:05:55.780 We just had one of the best therapists in the world on our show the very last episode.

00:06:02.080 And she will corroborate exactly what I'm talking about here. 0.99

00:06:05.320 You cannot just speak this shit into existence. 1.00

00:06:09.440 You have to go out and do hard shit so that you know you can do hard shit. 1.00

00:06:16.180 That's where confidence comes from. 1.00

00:06:18.480 That's where belief comes from.

00:06:20.540 That's where limitless mentality comes from.

00:06:23.640 That's where grit comes from.

00:06:25.680 It's where self-esteem comes from.

00:06:27.900 It's where self-value comes from.

00:06:30.060 And it's where confidence comes from.

00:06:32.180 And when you guys can't understand why you don't have those things, I want you to consider

00:06:39.340 the fact that those things are actually skills that you just haven't put practice into developing

00:06:47.200 yet, as opposed to looking at them as character traits that you are born with or not.

00:06:54.120 And understanding that difference will make the difference for you.

00:06:57.800 Now, that is a very quick summary of the purpose of 75 hard.

00:07:04.940 Vaughn, what's the episode?

00:07:06.780 290.

00:07:07.700 Episode 290.

00:07:09.380 If you haven't listened to that episode, you need to go back, listen to episode 290.

00:07:15.680 Now, I finish phase one tomorrow, okay?

00:07:20.200 That's the first two phases of what is called the Live Hard program, all right?

00:07:25.960 75 hard is the boot camp.

00:07:28.840 Phase one, phase two, phase three are 30-day phases that you are to complete all four phases

00:07:38.500 within one calendar year, all right?

00:07:44.340 I want you to think about this.

00:07:46.660 This is like running an ultramarathon for your brain.

00:07:52.460 This is like doing an Ironman for your brain, okay?

00:07:57.980 Lots of you guys out there, you're thinking, oh, I dieted for a bodybuilding show.

00:08:01.800 I know what this is about. 1.00

00:08:02.800 No, you fucking don't. 0.99

00:08:04.180 Because on a bodybuilding show, you get cheat meals. 0.99

00:08:06.780 On a bodybuilding show, you get days off.

00:08:08.980 On a bodybuilding show, you get flexibility and changes with your program.

00:08:13.060 This does not.

00:08:15.060 A lot of you guys are thinking, I ran an ultramarathon. 0.99

00:08:17.300 This ain't shit. 0.99

00:08:18.080 All right, well, then do it. 0.99

00:08:19.880 Let's see how hard it is for you. 1.00

00:08:22.340 You talk a lot of shit. 1.00

00:08:24.500 Just because you're able to push yourself in one area doesn't mean you could push yourself 1.00

00:08:29.020 in our areas.

00:08:30.060 You did a marathon.

00:08:31.100 You did an ultramarathon.

00:08:32.160 You did an Ironman. 1.00

00:08:32.960 Why aren't you fucking rich? 1.00

00:08:35.020 Why can't you pay your fucking bills? 1.00

00:08:37.420 Why do you struggle with doing the things that you want? 1.00

00:08:40.280 All right? 0.99

00:08:40.640 So don't be talking shit about how you've done this when you haven't fucking done it. 0.99

00:08:45.080 So let's get that straight right now. 0.99

00:08:46.780 Now, I am about to finish phase one.

00:08:51.200 I took, I believe, three days off between 75 hard and phase one.

00:08:56.720 I did not take off the alcohol part.

00:08:59.820 I did not take off the reading part.

00:09:01.260 I did not take off the diet part.

00:09:02.660 I did not take off the inside workout part or the water part or the progress pick part.

00:09:09.320 I only took off the outdoor cardio part for three days because I had blisters on my feet

00:09:15.680 that were fucking literally unbearable, hoping that they would heal. 0.98

00:09:18.800 They didn't fucking heal. 0.98

00:09:19.820 So I just went back to doing it. 0.98

00:09:21.480 All right?

00:09:21.800 So that's where I am.

00:09:23.600 Now, 75 hard consists, the podcast will tell you what it consists of.

00:09:32.660 It will tell you exactly what to do, exactly how to do it.

00:09:36.100 All right?

00:09:36.660 The 75 hard program is very simple.

00:09:40.120 Um, and I'm going to talk mostly about phase one here and then where to go after phase one.

00:09:47.720 So if you don't know about 75 hard, go back, listen to the podcast, come back, pick up this

00:09:53.000 now, um, where we are right now.

00:09:54.980 All right?

00:09:55.600 So I'm going to move on to phase one.

00:09:57.340 Now, phase one, what's required?

00:10:02.040 All the things of 75 hard are continued to be required in phase one.

00:10:09.480 You're going to follow a diet.

00:10:11.120 You're going to do two workouts.

00:10:13.180 One of them has to be outdoors.

00:10:15.300 Both of them have to be at least 45 minutes.

00:10:19.360 That means if it's in the rain, if it's in the snow, if it's in the heat, if it's in a

00:10:24.180 tornado, if it's in a hurricane.

00:10:26.020 Now be smart. 1.00

00:10:26.960 Don't go out and fucking get killed and then try to tell me that you got killed because 1.00

00:10:30.900 of me, all right? 1.00

00:10:32.640 Um, use some common sense.

00:10:36.120 Well, I'm just saying that's what people will figure out how to do. 1.00

00:10:38.500 They'll fucking bitch me out and they'll say, I fucking died because of you. 1.00

00:10:41.940 You know, I know that sounds stupid, but let's be real. 1.00

00:10:44.160 The internet's pretty fucking stupid. 1.00

00:10:45.500 It is. 1.00

00:10:45.900 Okay.

00:10:46.140 And some people will even come back from the dead just to complain.

00:10:48.640 They will.

00:10:49.260 I'm convinced of that.

00:10:50.720 I think people, some people's entire existence is to ask useless questions and complain about 1.00

00:10:55.220 shit. 1.00

00:10:55.820 Okay. 1.00

00:10:56.540 So if you're going to ask useless questions or stupid questions about this program, 1.00

00:11:00.900 about shit that I'm not covering here, I'm not going to answer you because you're a 1.00

00:11:05.160 fucking idiot. 1.00

00:11:06.340 All right. 1.00

00:11:06.980 So I'm very specific with this.

00:11:09.740 There is no substitutions.

00:11:11.480 There is no compromises.

00:11:13.320 There is no changing it to suit you.

00:11:17.340 It is the way it is. 0.99

00:11:19.000 And if you don't do it the way it is, you didn't do the motherfucking program. 0.99

00:11:22.260 This is not some bullshit internet challenge I just put together to entertain myself. 0.99

00:11:27.480 It's all specifically designed for a reason.

00:11:31.300 And those reasons will be completely explained when I come out with the book that will come

00:11:37.360 out in a few months.

00:11:38.420 Okay.

00:11:39.220 Now I just finished 75 hard.

00:11:43.240 What do I do next?

00:11:44.760 All right.

00:11:45.140 Understand these have to be completed in a specific order.

00:11:48.920 75 hard phase one, phase two, phase three.

00:11:51.980 All right.

00:11:53.480 75 hard is episode two 90.

00:11:55.540 Go listen to that.

00:11:56.220 It'll explain it.

00:11:57.080 That's the bootcamp.

00:11:58.120 That's getting you ready.

00:11:59.400 All right.

00:12:00.780 Phase one is all the five tasks from 75 hard, which are follow a diet to two workouts.

00:12:10.460 Like I said, a progress pick every day, one gallon of water, 10 pages of reading, no alcohol

00:12:17.900 or cheat meals.

00:12:20.280 Okay.

00:12:20.920 That's six tasks.

00:12:22.340 That's what we're talking about for 75 hard.

00:12:26.180 In addition to that, we're going to add some new tasks.

00:12:31.820 All right.

00:12:32.340 Now, the first task on phase one, that's in addition to the 75 hard tasks is that you're

00:12:42.520 going to add three more critical powerless tasks to your list. 0.96

00:12:48.180 Now, I realize that having five powerless tasks on your 75 hard was not a requirement.

00:12:59.220 Having three, okay, on this is a requirement.

00:13:03.840 Now, some of you are choosing to do eight because you did five the first time.

00:13:07.340 That's great.

00:13:08.260 Whatever you were doing for 75 hard, you got to do three more.

00:13:11.640 Okay.

00:13:11.860 If you didn't have any, if you had zero powerless tasks, you got to do three.

00:13:17.420 All right.

00:13:17.780 Now, powerless tasks are clearly defined as tasks that are critical to moving your life

00:13:26.200 forward that are not habits.

00:13:29.400 Now, I explained this powerless program in one of our most popular episodes.

00:13:34.120 I believe it's episode 107, Win the Day.

00:13:37.640 You're going to go listen to that.

00:13:38.760 It'll explain that in its entirety.

00:13:40.260 That's a program you should use no matter what.

00:13:43.140 All right.

00:13:43.860 So, I'm not going to spend too much time on that.

00:13:46.440 Now, the next one is the five-minute cold shower.

00:13:52.000 Okay.

00:13:52.620 Now, every single day, you're going to take a shower.

00:13:58.100 You're going to take a five-minute cold shower.

00:14:00.940 Now, I want to clarify some questions on this.

00:14:05.260 What does a cold shower mean, Vaughn?

00:14:07.760 It means it's cold.

00:14:09.060 It means it's cold enough to cause you discomfort.

00:14:11.320 That's right.

00:14:12.200 That's right.

00:14:13.080 And you're going to consistently press to make it as cold and uncomfortable as possible.

00:14:18.660 If you're not doing that, you're missing the point.

00:14:21.240 Okay.

00:14:21.540 Now, does that mean that you have to take your whole shower in cold water?

00:14:26.560 Nope.

00:14:27.040 Five minutes.

00:14:27.600 That's right.

00:14:27.920 Five minutes.

00:14:28.720 So, a lot of people are confused.

00:14:30.480 Do I have to turn the shower all the way on cold and jump in?

00:14:33.380 Sure.

00:14:33.900 You can do that.

00:14:35.300 That is not what I do.

00:14:37.040 Let me explain how I do it.

00:14:39.040 I take a regular shower.

00:14:41.280 I wash my hair.

00:14:42.680 I do my whatever I got to do in the shower.

00:14:45.360 Okay.

00:14:45.860 Then, when I'm done with that, that's when I turn the water to cold and I work it down to cold.

00:14:51.620 I don't just flip it all the way to cold. 0.97

00:14:53.480 Some of you guys doing that, that's fucking badass. 0.93

00:14:55.660 That's not what I do. 0.96

00:14:56.780 I work it down. 0.95

00:14:58.060 I start the five-minute countdown when the water is extremely fucking cold. 0.92

00:15:02.520 And what I mean by that is, like, you're having a hard time breathing. 0.93

00:15:05.300 If you're not having a hard time breathing where you're like,

00:15:07.460 it's not cold enough.

00:15:10.160 Okay?

00:15:10.800 So, that's where you know you should be.

00:15:14.160 All right?

00:15:14.460 And after a few minutes, you'll acclimate and you're going to keep pushing it colder and keep pushing it colder.

00:15:19.320 And you start when it gets uncomfortable, keep pushing it colder, and you end when five minutes is up.

00:15:24.560 Very simple.

00:15:25.560 Any questions on that?

00:15:26.720 No.

00:15:26.900 To me, a good rule of thumb besides it pushes you beyond your comfort is,

00:15:32.700 if it's cold enough that you really want to get out, that's probably...

00:15:36.400 That's right.

00:15:37.180 That's the point of this, guys.

00:15:38.260 When you've reached the point.

00:15:38.760 The point of this is doing this with intent.

00:15:41.820 If you don't...

00:15:42.680 If you listened to the last podcast with Nicole, dude, when you don't do things with intent, you become stale.

00:15:48.540 I've had a lot of you guys saying, man, I'm having victories on my 75 hard.

00:15:52.880 I'm having...

00:15:53.560 I'm winning every day, but I don't feel like I'm getting the same thing out of it as I did in the beginning.

00:15:58.580 Well, the reason you're not getting the same thing out of it is because you're not pushing yourself with intent to make it hard.

00:16:04.140 What's hard for you on day 60 is not the same thing that's hard for you on day three.

00:16:09.620 So you have to continue to push to be uncomfortable.

00:16:13.260 Does that make sense?

00:16:13.820 Yeah, it does.

00:16:14.820 Can I just make an observation is that I feel like of all the people that respond to you and have questions, there's basically two types of people.

00:16:24.280 There's the type of people who take what you say and they're immediately trying to find the loophole or trying to find some way to make it...

00:16:32.100 Yeah, and those are the people who are going to be broke their entire life.

00:16:34.200 Yeah, a little bit easier.

00:16:35.800 But then there's also the people that, you know, to some extent, especially those now who have completed 75 hard, that it's kind of an ego thing for them.

00:16:45.080 And they're kind of like, well, I want to get the specifics on this and the details so that I make sure that I actually over-deliver and over-kill.

00:16:53.620 And you're not impressing me by doing that.

00:16:55.260 No, no.

00:16:55.660 And I think for both of those people...

00:16:58.000 There's also people out there, too, that are like, dude, I fucking did this and you're only doing five minutes, I'm doing seven minutes.

00:17:03.880 I'm like, cool. 0.69

00:17:04.960 Right.

00:17:05.340 Cool.

00:17:05.780 Right.

00:17:06.300 That means you're not doing the full five minutes the right way.

00:17:08.700 Right.

00:17:09.240 You know?

00:17:09.720 And I think... 0.99

00:17:10.900 I'm going to tell you right now, dude, after five minutes of cold fucking water... 0.99

00:17:13.660 Oh, yeah. 1.00

00:17:14.540 You're getting the fuck out. 0.96

00:17:15.840 And the standard, the answer applies to both of these people. 0.98

00:17:20.280 Do it so it pushes you beyond your comfort zone.

00:17:23.200 That's it.

00:17:23.640 Period.

00:17:24.120 That's it.

00:17:24.540 End of story.

00:17:25.820 And it's not bragging rights.

00:17:26.920 It's not like, oh, see, dude, and here's the third person. 0.99

00:17:29.760 The third person, and these people are really fucking annoying. 0.99

00:17:32.560 They're the most annoying. 0.99

00:17:33.840 They're the people who are, like, worried about what everybody else is doing.

00:17:36.460 Right.

00:17:36.720 But what's funny is those same people who have been messing with me, what about so-and-so, they did this?

00:17:42.180 Or what about so-and-so, they did that? 0.97

00:17:43.760 They fucking failed the program seven times and had to start over. 0.97

00:17:46.900 Why do you think that is? 1.00

00:17:48.500 Right. 1.00

00:17:48.660 Because they're not focusing on their own shit, which is a whole nother lesson that we... 1.00

00:17:51.720 Right. 1.00

00:17:51.800 We have, like, a whole chapter in the book about that.

00:17:54.140 So, all right.

00:17:58.780 So, back to the phase one.

00:18:01.020 It's the five tasks plus the three powerless tasks plus the cold shower.

00:18:06.320 Now, this is the big one that I think is important.

00:18:11.360 They're all important, but I think this one is the one that will make the difference for a lot of people.

00:18:16.340 And it's 10 minutes of active visualization.

00:18:18.460 Most people, what I've found is they don't know the difference between a dream and a goal.

00:18:28.800 Right.

00:18:29.440 They walk into a nice house or a nice vacation or they walk by something or see something or notice something.

00:18:36.960 They say, man, that'd be cool to have that.

00:18:38.720 But they don't ever see themselves in it.

00:18:40.780 They don't ever make it real for themselves.

00:18:43.320 They don't ever actually practice being in that moment and feeling it emotionally.

00:18:48.720 So, it never becomes real for them.

00:18:52.020 And then they end up somewhere else.

00:18:54.380 And then it just further locks in that thinking that we end up where we are as a result of circumstance, not as a result of our own decisions.

00:19:06.200 So, you guys have to remember, this visualization, not only is it important for you because you need to see yourself in these places and visualize things to make it real for you,

00:19:23.200 but it also helps you become intentional with all your other tasks.

00:19:28.720 Because lots of people, you know, we've talked about this on the podcast before, guys, there's a big difference between busy and effective.

00:19:36.840 There's a big difference between being fulfilled and feeling empty. 0.98

00:19:41.100 And you could do the same exact shit day in and day out and feel fulfilled or empty. 0.98

00:19:48.720 And the difference between those two feelings is the intent that you're putting on your day-to-day tasks. 0.99

00:19:54.040 For example, I have guys in my company, right?

00:20:00.640 And they get burned out.

00:20:02.100 Like, dude, they worked a retail store for two years, right?

00:20:04.880 Or three years and four years or five years. 0.99

00:20:07.100 And they're like, fuck, dude, I can't fucking do this and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. 0.99

00:20:10.500 Well, let me explain something to you. 1.00

00:20:13.700 You're not burnt out.

00:20:15.540 What you're doing is you're getting bored because you're not putting the intent behind every opportunity that you have.

00:20:22.620 You're not intentionally executing with that customer in front of you to help them.

00:20:27.860 Because if you were and they were getting results, you would be completely fulfilled in your job.

00:20:32.980 You see what I'm saying?

00:20:34.100 And this is how practical this is.

00:20:36.360 When you become more fulfilled in your job, you get better at it, which helps you move to a new position where you will earn more money,

00:20:46.960 you'll have a better career, and you'll have more opportunity to help people.

00:20:49.500 But that all starts with you being intent, having intent with what it is you do on a day-by-day basis.

00:20:56.920 The reason most people are empty, the reason most people aren't fulfilled,

00:21:00.840 the reason most people hate what they fucking do every day isn't because they actually hate what they do. 0.86

00:21:06.480 They actually just hate how they do it. 0.97

00:21:09.940 And they're not aware of it yet.

00:21:12.080 Does that make sense?

00:21:12.740 Yeah, it makes total sense.

00:21:13.440 So instead of putting 100% energy into the person in front of you, they're just going through the motions.

00:21:20.320 And when they go through those motions, at the end of the day, they feel like they didn't do anything.

00:21:25.240 So then they feel unfulfilled.

00:21:27.220 Okay?

00:21:27.700 And that's what's happening on 75 Hard for some people.

00:21:30.240 They're doing the bare minimum, not consciously present about what it is that they're doing.

00:21:35.220 And so when they end the day, they don't feel like they won.

00:21:39.580 The program will not work for you like that.

00:21:41.780 If you don't practice it with intent on a day-by-day basis, you're not going to grow mentally the way the program's designed.

00:21:51.140 You follow me?

00:21:52.020 Yeah, absolutely.

00:21:52.900 So a couple things that I thought of.

00:21:54.180 One is that, I mean, this is stating the obvious, but sometimes you need to do that with people.

00:21:58.580 But the practice of closing your eyes and visualizing something, actually engaging your imagination and sustaining the images that you're trying to, you know, motivate yourself with, doing it in great detail, doing it vividly as, like I said, detailed as possible, that takes work.

00:22:22.100 Like that's, it's a hard, hard thing to do.

00:22:24.880 It takes sustained concentration.

00:22:26.320 It's like working, it's like you're literally working out your mind. 0.99

00:22:29.340 No shit. 0.99

00:22:30.020 Yeah. 0.99

00:22:30.840 And you know what else?

00:22:32.220 Guess what?

00:22:32.940 What?

00:22:33.240 It ain't hard for me.

00:22:34.240 You know why?

00:22:35.160 Because you've been doing it.

00:22:35.900 Yeah.

00:22:36.680 You know, and look at my life.

00:22:38.560 Yeah.

00:22:39.740 Yeah.

00:22:40.500 No, absolutely.

00:22:41.520 I'm not overly intelligent.

00:22:43.400 I'm not an overly hard worker.

00:22:45.100 In fact, I would say I become an effective worker because of my laziness.

00:22:50.980 That's the truth.

00:22:53.000 I'm inherently lazy.

00:22:54.720 So what do I do?

00:22:55.780 Now, I'm willing to work hard, but I prefer not to, just like everybody else, right?

00:23:01.220 So what does that create?

00:23:02.360 It creates a situation where I want a result.

00:23:06.220 I know what I want.

00:23:07.360 I got to get there.

00:23:08.440 What do I got to do?

00:23:09.540 Well, I have to work hard.

00:23:11.420 Okay?

00:23:11.740 I accept that.

00:23:12.320 But I also have to know where I'm going.

00:23:14.720 And I also have to do that with intent.

00:23:16.480 And I also have to do that consistently.

00:23:18.520 And so when you do those things and you practice the visualization and you practice being effective versus just being busy, now all of a sudden you're playing a different game than everybody else.

00:23:28.440 Because most people are playing the game of how much time have I put in.

00:23:32.440 I've, you know, they have the union worker mentality.

00:23:35.160 I've got my 20 years in. 0.99

00:23:36.560 I'm going to get my fucking benefits and this and that. 0.99

00:23:38.760 That's fine, dude. 0.99

00:23:39.600 If that's you, cool.

00:23:41.320 That ain't me.

00:23:42.440 All right?

00:23:42.840 Like, I want to consistently get better.

00:23:45.360 I want to consistently improve.

00:23:46.820 I want to consistently progress. 1.00

00:23:48.400 My life does not, I am not fulfilled by sitting in a fucking pond throwing a fucking line in the water. 0.99

00:23:54.640 Like, that's not my idea of being happy. 0.99

00:23:57.160 My idea of being happy is squeezing every fucking ounce of potential out of my body and my mind and seeing what the fuck I can do. 0.99

00:24:04.280 That's an ultimate test. 0.99

00:24:06.280 You know what I'm saying?

00:24:06.940 Absolutely.

00:24:07.300 And so, I think it's important to understand that there's a reason behind all of these things.

00:24:16.720 And you guys who have completed 75 hard, you know the reasons behind these things now.

00:24:23.900 You did it when you started.

00:24:25.200 And by the way, I've got to commend you guys because you basically did something off faith in me.

00:24:30.680 And you trusted what I was going to say.

00:24:32.280 And, dude, I have not had one single person DM me or email me and say, dude, I did the 75 hard exactly as you said.

00:24:40.560 And it didn't work.

00:24:42.460 Every single person.

00:24:43.260 Dude, I had an email right before I came on from a guy that I know in England.

00:24:49.960 And I talked to him.

00:24:51.100 And he told me today that he has – and the reason I talk to him consistently is because he struggles with depression.

00:25:05.000 Okay?

00:25:05.280 And he's suicidal.

00:25:07.140 And I know what that feels like.

00:25:09.320 He told me today.

00:25:10.180 He said, dude, the only thing that's keeping me moving forward and keeping my depression and my suicidal thoughts at bay is the discipline that I'm creating through this program.

00:25:21.100 For me, that makes all of this worth it. 0.98

00:25:24.460 The podcast, the fucking – all the work that we've done, all the bullshit we've dealt with, all the traveling, all the money spent. 0.99

00:25:34.980 You know, that's the point of this. 0.99

00:25:36.740 You know what I'm saying? 0.98

00:25:37.640 And that's why I put it out for free because people fucking need it. 0.99

00:25:41.480 They need it. 0.99

00:25:42.320 Absolutely.

00:25:42.680 And the other thing to reemphasize, and you've said this in so many words, but I'm going to restate it just to drive home the point.

00:25:48.600 Dude, Sean Whalen, who's a good buddy of mine.

00:25:51.100 He's done two Ironmans. 1.00

00:25:52.440 He's done all kinds of fucking crazy, hard shit. 1.00

00:25:56.140 He's raced Baja. 1.00

00:25:57.820 Okay? 1.00

00:25:58.120 He fucking told you. 1.00

00:25:59.040 He told me. 1.00

00:25:59.940 It's the fucking best thing I've ever done in my life and the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. 0.92

00:26:04.920 I want to pull up his text he sent me the other day. 0.96

00:26:10.120 He goes – he sent me a screenshot of someone that he sent to his buddy.

00:26:14.620 I'm pulling up my phone, so sorry for the little lull here.

00:26:17.300 One of his buddies, who's also a follower of mine, I follow him, he said, bro, I can't make it past five days with 75 hard.

00:26:29.640 When I'm done with work, I work out once, and then by the end of the day, with babies, the second workout, it just doesn't happen.

00:26:36.580 Or I'm so spent driving my tour bus and singing that I'm burned out.

00:26:40.980 Is walking considered a second workout?

00:26:43.000 By the way, yes, it is if you walk outside. 0.98

00:26:45.560 You don't have to fucking run, all right? 0.96

00:26:49.080 That's all I have the energy to do after a show. 0.99

00:26:51.460 Bro, I feel you. 0.95

00:26:52.260 I got fucking seven or eight – I don't even know how many companies I got. 0.97

00:26:55.060 I don't even know how many employees I got. 1.00

00:26:57.260 I'm just guessing when I say that shit at this point. 1.00

00:27:01.340 I get it. 1.00

00:27:02.800 There's not much left at the end of the fucking day. 0.99

00:27:04.960 That's the point. 0.99

00:27:06.040 That's the point, all right?

00:27:09.340 He says, or do I not have the discipline at the level of commitment to make a billion?

00:27:16.180 Is it my workflow or my work schedule?

00:27:19.020 I don't want to lose.

00:27:20.600 Tell me how you do it.

00:27:21.760 I know we're all different businesses, but still.

00:27:27.420 That was Sean's friend, too, Sean.

00:27:29.700 Sean writes him back.

00:27:31.060 It's mental, bro.

00:27:32.040 I do my 45-minute walk every night. 1.00

00:27:34.200 It's fucking brutal. 0.99

00:27:35.700 My body is tired. 0.99

00:27:36.960 I just want to sleep.

00:27:38.420 But I can tell you this.

00:27:40.240 Some nights I'm literally falling asleep when I'm walking.

00:27:43.180 That's what makes this so powerful.

00:27:45.400 It's 95% mental.

00:27:48.120 That's how we make it to the other side, bro. 0.99

00:27:50.580 When everything and everyone is saying, chill, when your body is exhausted, it's a mental game that says, just fucking walk, bro. 0.97

00:27:59.340 I feel you, homie. 0.98

00:28:00.400 I do.

00:28:00.780 I've had five MMA fights, done two full Ironman races.

00:28:04.740 This is the most difficult thing I've ever done.

00:28:07.100 But it's also produced the biggest results I've ever seen.

00:28:10.780 Not just physically, but in every area.

00:28:13.180 My business is exploding.

00:28:14.720 My personal life is as good as it has been in years. 0.99

00:28:17.060 And I promise you, bro, if you go all in and do it, it'll change your fucking life. 0.99

00:28:23.340 That's incredible. 0.99

00:28:24.400 Pretty good testimonial.

00:28:25.480 Very good testimonial.

00:28:27.020 And the emphasis on how brutal and difficult it is really drives home the reason you do the visualization.

00:28:32.100 Because as something you said recently in a keynote to Arete, we're not becoming mentally tough just for the sake of becoming mentally tough.

00:28:42.060 We're becoming mentally tough so our goals and our dreams can come true.

00:28:45.480 That's right.

00:28:45.800 And you have to motivate yourself.

00:28:47.380 That's right.

00:28:47.680 You have to take the time to visualize and say, why am I doing this?

00:28:51.200 This is why.

00:28:51.980 Close your eyes.

00:28:52.840 Imagine the life you want.

00:28:56.140 Whether that's a car or traveling or being on stage or anything, that's how important it is.

00:29:02.920 I think the, so let's talk about the prerequisites real quick.

00:29:12.940 So the prerequisites for the three consecutive phases afterwards.

00:29:17.300 One, you must complete 75 hard first.

00:29:20.080 Again, go back and listen to episode 290.

00:29:23.040 Audiobooks do not count as reading. 0.66

00:29:26.140 So when I say specific instructions, part of this program is designed to teach you to quit fucking up simple instructions. 0.53

00:29:37.540 Okay?

00:29:38.920 Audiobooks don't count.

00:29:40.340 I don't care if you learn better through audiobooks.

00:29:43.700 I don't care. 0.99

00:29:44.700 The reason you learn better through audiobooks is because you're fucking lazy and you haven't developed the skills to learn how to read properly. 0.99

00:29:52.140 Okay? 1.00

00:29:52.380 Don't be a bullshit, weak-ass bitch. 1.00

00:29:56.260 Oh, I land better through, I have a learning discipline. 1.00

00:29:58.560 Then fucking work through it, motherfucker. 1.00

00:30:01.440 It takes me an hour to read 10 pages because I read slow as fuck. 1.00

00:30:05.320 I scored above 30 every fucking category on my ACT except fucking math and reading. 1.00

00:30:11.120 Okay? 1.00

00:30:11.440 It's hard for me too.

00:30:12.980 That's the point. 0.99

00:30:15.100 Cold shower must be cold as fuck. 0.99

00:30:18.620 One of your workouts must be outdoors for at least 45 minutes. 0.99

00:30:23.660 Three tasks that move you forward in other areas of your life on your power list.

00:30:29.200 Okay?

00:30:29.880 And you have until you go to sleep to complete the day. 1.00

00:30:35.140 Again, quit fucking tattling on people. 0.99

00:30:38.020 Oh, I saw so-and-so people out until 3 o'clock in the morning. 1.00

00:30:41.800 Yeah, guess what? 1.00

00:30:42.880 That's what it takes sometimes when you're busy as fuck. 1.00

00:30:45.780 You got to get up and fucking, you got to go out, get out of your bed and go do your 1.00

00:30:50.340 motherfucking workout. 1.00

00:30:51.600 I had to do that a couple times. 1.00

00:30:53.560 There was a couple times during the 75 hard where I was in bed and I'm like, fuck it, 0.99

00:30:57.900 I ain't doing it. 0.98

00:30:58.840 No one will know.

00:30:59.740 So, and guess what I did? 0.99

00:31:02.780 I got up, I went out, I drug my exercise bike out into the fucking driveway and I did fucking 1.00

00:31:08.640 45 minutes at 2 o'clock in the fucking morning. 1.00

00:31:12.660 That's what we're talking about here. 0.99

00:31:15.640 Okay?

00:31:16.980 Now, important thing that I get a ton of questions on, all right?

00:31:23.680 Do you have to go right into phase one after 75 hard?

00:31:28.480 Absolutely not.

00:31:31.160 Now, a lot of people chose to do so.

00:31:34.900 Totally cool.

00:31:37.300 You cannot go from phase one to phase two without taking 30 days off.

00:31:47.120 Now, I'm not saying go wild for 30 days. 0.97

00:31:49.940 You could do the same shit that you've been doing in this program for the next 30 days, 0.98

00:31:54.560 but it will not count as phase two. 0.98

00:31:56.640 In fact, that's the reason I'm not giving you phase two yet, because the time hasn't

00:32:02.460 passed.

00:32:04.180 Why am I saying that you have to take 30 days off? 0.98

00:32:07.420 And by the way, when I say 30 days off, that doesn't mean go out and fucking eat like a 0.99

00:32:12.160 fucking wild animal and drink like a drunk and not work out. 1.00

00:32:16.640 You'll completely fuck yourself. 1.00

00:32:18.960 This is what the point of the time off is. 1.00

00:32:21.540 Remember when you were a kid and you learned how to swim and they put those little water 0.95

00:32:27.120 wings on you and you went out in the pool and after about fucking, you know, 10 lessons, 0.99

00:32:32.160 you're like, fuck, dude, I know how to swim. 0.98

00:32:34.720 What happened when they took your water wings off? 1.00

00:32:37.400 Clunk.

00:32:37.940 You didn't know how to swim no more, did you?

00:32:39.260 Okay, so this 30 day break is designed to teach you how to operate this as a lifestyle versus

00:32:48.660 you having to have the program to be taking care of your own business.

00:32:55.000 All right.

00:32:55.880 That's the point of it.

00:32:58.540 That should make really good sense to everybody here.

00:33:01.240 All right. 0.57

00:33:02.320 Now, just like in 75 hard, if you fuck up and you miss one of the tasks on phase one, 0.95

00:33:13.080 two or three, what do you got to do? 0.93

00:33:16.200 Yeah.

00:33:16.440 Start over from the beginning.

00:33:17.480 Got to start over from the beginning.

00:33:18.920 Now, do you start over at day one of 75 hard or do you start over on the day of the current

00:33:23.900 phase?

00:33:24.460 Current phase.

00:33:25.120 Current phase day one. 0.85

00:33:26.500 So, if you get to phase three and you fuck up at day 16, you do not go back to phase 0.57

00:33:32.320 two day one or phase one day one or 75 hard day one. 0.95

00:33:35.120 You go to phase three day one.

00:33:37.440 All right.

00:33:38.220 Now, I think I've answered all the questions.

00:33:42.820 You'd think so.

00:33:43.660 What's the visualization?

00:33:45.480 We did some podcasts on visualization.

00:33:47.580 Can you put the notes in that for these people?

00:33:49.560 Yeah, I can do that.

00:33:50.660 I mean, we've done it here and there in a number of them.

00:33:53.120 Okay, will you put it in the show notes?

00:33:54.540 Yeah, I will.

00:33:54.920 So the guys can find it.

00:33:55.760 All right, we're going to put the 75 hard podcast and the episode 107 win the day podcast

00:34:03.780 and some visualization stuff inside the show notes for this episode.

00:34:09.780 So between those three and this, you'll have all the resources you know to get going.

00:34:14.080 Yeah, and basically, you just have to go to andyfricella.com and then click on podcasts.

00:34:17.960 I mean, the most recent episode is always at the beginning.

00:34:21.100 Yep, and also, guys, when you do this program, now understand, I'm writing a whole book on this.

00:34:29.300 My first adult book will be about this program, all right? 0.96

00:34:32.500 Because I think it's something that people fucking need. 0.94

00:34:34.940 In fact, I know it is. 0.96

00:34:35.920 This is something that you need to look at as a tool to help you get re-centered when you start to get off track later in life.

00:34:46.180 Five years from now, because we're human, we are going to naturally drift.

00:34:53.140 We're pre-programmed to find the most efficient, the least resistance way.

00:34:57.760 And what happens is we have good intentions about doing all these things,

00:35:02.180 and then we find ourselves over somewhere where we don't want to be.

00:35:06.360 75 hard is a program that you would use to get yourself back on track.

00:35:11.780 Does that make sense?

00:35:12.480 Mm-hmm.

00:35:12.840 Okay, now, my recommendation is that you should do this every single year.

00:35:17.540 Do you want to be whatever it is you want to be?

00:35:20.580 You need to look at this as an essential part of that program.

00:35:24.420 You want to be this?

00:35:25.500 You want to be that?

00:35:26.220 You want to be a billionaire?

00:35:27.220 You want to be a millionaire? 1.00

00:35:28.140 You want to be fucking famous? 1.00

00:35:29.340 You want to be whatever it is you want to be? 0.99

00:35:31.480 You should be looking at the Live Hard program as a lifetime program that you will do every single year,

00:35:38.440 a complete program.

00:35:40.280 So, meaning that you will do, every year, you will do 75 hard, phase one, phase two, phase three, 0.97

00:35:46.040 in every fucking year to keep you finely tuned. 0.95

00:35:50.300 I think, personally, how important my life is, I have no problem making that commitment. 0.98

00:35:56.960 That's worth it to me.

00:35:58.980 Now, it might not be worth it to everybody, and that's okay, too,

00:36:02.440 but you should still always remember that this program is there to help you get re-centered.

00:36:07.180 So, when you start to feel out there or off track or things aren't going or you feel stuck,

00:36:12.800 this is going to be something that is going to help you get re-centered and help you get back where you need to go.

00:36:17.380 If you do it with intent.

00:36:21.740 All right?

00:36:23.520 What else, dude?

00:36:24.320 I just like what you said about it.

00:36:28.880 It's a way to get yourself tuned up.

00:36:30.840 It's a recalibration tool.

00:36:32.360 Yeah.

00:36:32.620 You know?

00:36:33.160 Yeah.

00:36:33.640 And by the way, guys, when I ask for your email for 75 hard in my stories, 0.69

00:36:38.940 if you've done 75 hard, if you're doing 75 hard, fucking subscribe to that email, 0.95

00:36:43.280 because I'm not going to sell it. 1.00

00:36:44.880 I'm not going to spam you shit. 0.98

00:36:46.220 I'm actually looking for people to profile in my book and to have on the podcast as guests to talk about this. 0.98

00:36:53.340 I think it's going to be the biggest thing I've ever put together in my entire life.

00:36:57.940 It might not be the most financially successful thing. 0.86

00:37:01.000 It's fucking free, but it's the most important thing, in my opinion. 0.88

00:37:07.920 Actually, a point having to do with the whole recalibration. 0.99

00:37:12.140 This program will teach you mental toughness.

00:37:17.480 But I think people would be wrong if they thought that mental toughness is something that, you know...

00:37:23.140 Once you have it, you just have it.

00:37:24.220 Yeah, right.

00:37:24.840 Like, there's whatever that is, the third law of thermodynamics,

00:37:28.560 or things are in a constant state of decay, or that might be the second law of thermodynamics.

00:37:31.960 But the point is that, as human beings, if we're not...

00:37:35.420 It's no different than the axe.

00:37:36.580 Yeah, right.

00:37:37.600 You keep it sharp.

00:37:38.580 You're actually going to get dull.

00:37:39.020 Right. 0.99

00:37:39.440 You're going to use this to sharpen the motherfucker up. 1.00

00:37:41.520 Right. 0.98

00:37:41.980 Right?

00:37:42.340 Like, you're not going to finish 75 hard and then coast the rest of your life. 1.00

00:37:45.700 No, fuck no. 1.00

00:37:46.840 No. 1.00

00:37:47.100 Dude, that's some basic understanding.

00:37:48.920 That goes back to us understanding that this is a skill.

00:37:51.940 It's not a trait.

00:37:53.360 Right.

00:37:54.100 You see what I'm saying?

00:37:54.960 Absolutely.

00:37:55.860 That being said, I do think that there is a sense in which, when you complete the program,

00:38:01.800 you are, you have crossed the line to another level to where even if you start deteriorating,

00:38:08.120 you're still on a higher level than most people.

00:38:10.240 But you have to work to continue to go higher and higher and higher.

00:38:12.540 Yeah, but that's where the comparison of you...

00:38:14.320 See, your old comparisons, you know, a lot of people like to say comparison's terrible.

00:38:19.180 And you know what?

00:38:19.700 It can be toxic.

00:38:21.020 But the truth is, is it can also be good. 0.97

00:38:23.340 And you need to learn to start comparing yourselves to fucking higher level people than your average 0.99

00:38:28.640 fucking neighborhood bros from 19 fucking 92. 1.00

00:38:32.220 You know what I'm saying? 1.00

00:38:33.760 Like, let's be real.

00:38:36.300 We all compare.

00:38:37.140 Right.

00:38:37.340 You know, and I do agree, like, especially with Ed, that all the negative things in life

00:38:42.120 when it comes to unhappiness come from comparison, over comparison.

00:38:46.260 But it's healthy to compare in certain situations.

00:38:50.560 And that's what's going to push you and should push you to be better.

00:38:54.480 Now, some people don't even have enough confidence to feel that fire, like,

00:38:59.960 I could be better when they compare themselves to other people, right?

00:39:03.200 So those people don't have a blade at all.

00:39:05.400 They've just got, like, a piece of metal, right?

00:39:07.520 And 75 Hard, the Live Hard program, is going to shape that into an edge, right?

00:39:12.180 Yeah.

00:39:12.420 It's going to give them a higher level than what they had.

00:39:14.520 And every year, it's going to progress, progress, progress.

00:39:17.460 Yeah.

00:39:17.640 So that's how to think about it.

00:39:18.640 Absolutely.

00:39:19.040 I mean, there's a comparison that debilitates, and there's a comparison that motivates.

00:39:22.740 And the question is whether you're saying, I'm not them, and make yourself feel bad,

00:39:27.480 or you're saying, I'm not them.

00:39:29.160 I can be better than them.

00:39:30.080 That's right.

00:39:30.780 That's right.

00:39:31.840 That's right.

00:39:32.380 So.

00:39:34.680 I think that's it.

00:39:35.780 I think that's it.

00:39:36.380 Yeah.

00:39:36.600 And we'll have the phase two, phase three podcast here in less than 30 days for you guys. 0.96

00:39:42.580 Um, we've got some exciting shit coming out. 0.97

00:39:46.040 Yep. 0.99

00:39:46.380 Uh, we've got some exciting projects we're working on.

00:39:49.440 Uh, I mean, that's it, man. 0.87

00:39:52.800 The book's going to be fucking awesome.

00:39:54.600 Uh, you know, we've got some cool audio, little, little audio things that we're working on for 0.85

00:39:59.820 people to use while they're doing their workouts.

00:40:01.460 I think that'll be cool.

00:40:02.740 That's going to surprise some people.

00:40:04.480 We, we always, we always love to hear about your experience of 75 Hard. 0.56

00:40:09.420 So, I mean, I would, I mean, if you're going to bitch, I don't want to hear that. 1.00

00:40:12.500 No, but I mean, I mean, you know, I don't know if it's smart to put my email on the, uh,

00:40:18.320 no, it's probably not.

00:40:20.020 So, but DM us, let us know what your experience is.

00:40:24.580 We want to hear about it.

00:40:25.640 Yeah, we do.

00:40:26.800 I love it, dude.

00:40:27.820 Yeah.

00:40:28.100 And use the hashtag 75 Hard.

00:40:30.000 Use the hashtag Live Hard.

00:40:31.480 Use the hashtag 100 to zero.

00:40:33.020 I'm active on all those hashtags, including I am first form, first form, um, Lesion Boom

00:40:39.520 hashtags, S2 Faction hashtags.

00:40:41.380 Those are my hashtags I look at every day, uh, to really connect with people.

00:40:45.220 But like for my, for this project, dude, I look every day at 75 Hard.

00:40:48.880 I look at Live Hard and I look at 100 to zero every single day.

00:40:52.540 So guys, use those hashtags in your stories and in your posts so I can connect with you

00:40:56.760 because, um, that's fun for me to see.

00:41:00.180 It makes me happy to see that these people are really making great progress.

00:41:04.560 And guys, I got to say the pro and I know you notice this as well. 0.96

00:41:08.920 Um, the progress that people have fucking made in 75 days is absurd. 0.93

00:41:14.120 Yeah. 0.99

00:41:14.700 Absurd.

00:41:15.400 It's awesome.

00:41:16.080 It's way more impactful than I even imagined it to be.

00:41:19.460 Um, it's very rewarding.

00:41:21.500 Yeah.

00:41:21.820 Very rewarding.

00:41:22.600 For sure. 0.51

00:41:22.980 I'm really fucking proud of like, dude, anybody who's completed at 75 days for real, like, 0.99

00:41:29.740 dude, respect, like that shit is fucking hard. 0.99

00:41:33.060 It is not easy. 1.00

00:41:34.240 Like, you know what I'm saying?

00:41:35.380 Absolutely.

00:41:36.100 Like it's, it's, it's really cool.

00:41:37.740 Like a little cool fraternity.

00:41:39.720 You know, that's how I look at it.

00:41:40.960 In practical terms, guys, if you also share information about 75 Hard, Andy's got what

00:41:46.220 close to 2 million followers.

00:41:47.580 So tag me too, so that I, so that I see it and so I can respond to it.

00:41:51.420 Yep.

00:41:51.960 Yep.

00:41:52.340 Vonson, you're doing it right now. 0.99

00:41:54.120 Uh, would you fucking fail? 1.00

00:41:56.200 I failed on the stupidest possible reason. 1.00

00:41:58.720 Well, what day are you on? 0.98

00:41:59.480 One?

00:42:00.020 No, I was on nine.

00:42:01.440 No, what day are you on now?

00:42:02.660 Oh, I'm starting after Summer Smash.

00:42:05.320 That's weak.

00:42:06.800 All right.

00:42:07.120 Well, I'll start.

00:42:07.860 Tyler finished.

00:42:08.720 During Summer Smash.

00:42:09.680 Yeah.

00:42:10.160 No, I, what's, what's the easy, what's the easiest requirement of all of them?

00:42:14.520 It depends on the person.

00:42:15.820 No, it's, it's taking the progress pick.

00:42:17.880 No, it's hard for people.

00:42:19.180 They forget that.

00:42:19.400 Oh, that's not hard for me.

00:42:21.880 Tyler finished.

00:42:23.060 Get on there, Tyler.

00:42:23.760 Go ahead.

00:42:24.900 That I did.

00:42:25.780 And you, you could always tell who, who actually did it.

00:42:28.280 Who really did it or didn't. 1.00

00:42:28.860 Oh yeah, fuck yeah. 1.00

00:42:29.280 Yeah. 1.00

00:42:29.620 Because you'll ask them questions and if they're not going to.

00:42:31.920 They have no answer.

00:42:32.700 Yeah.

00:42:33.000 Or it'll not be the answer that they should have.

00:42:35.360 I had one guy, I had actually two guys reach out and they were like, dude, I did it.

00:42:39.080 I didn't get out of it what you said. 0.97

00:42:40.240 I said, then you didn't fucking do it. 0.95

00:42:41.760 Both of them were like, you're right. 0.99

00:42:44.500 I fucking, I fucking did it. 0.99

00:42:45.740 They admitted to it? 1.00

00:42:46.320 Yeah.

00:42:47.020 Because I said, dude, there's no way.

00:42:48.780 I said, I don't care what you say. 1.00

00:42:49.780 If you, if you didn't, if you fucking can look me in the fucking eye and say it didn't 1.00

00:42:54.100 do exactly what I told you to do, then you either didn't do it or you're lying. 0.99

00:42:59.240 Well, everybody will notice, uh, at certain stages of the program, you will, you will

00:43:05.320 evolve a certain way, you know, and everybody goes to those.

00:43:08.240 I feel, I feel like everybody that I've talked to have gone through those same like evolution.

00:43:13.140 In a similar range.

00:43:13.380 Exactly.

00:43:13.620 Like, like, like, like I feel like every single person that I've spoken with the day 0.95

00:43:18.380 day, the first fucking 13 or 12 or 13 days are brutal. 0.99

00:43:23.080 And then also, uh, day like 50 through 60 is really hard for people that sucked. 0.99

00:43:29.120 Yeah.

00:43:29.440 Yeah.

00:43:29.640 I thought that was the hardest too.

00:43:30.760 Yes.

00:43:31.100 Like, cause in the beginning, cause what happens is in the beginning you're excited and everybody 0.98

00:43:35.440 else is excited too, but then people stop giving a fuck and then you start to realize 0.93

00:43:39.600 why you're really doing it, which isn't for other people. 0.99

00:43:41.820 It's for you and then it like day 50, 60, you're fucking tired of it. 1.00

00:43:45.500 And you're like, fuck dude. 1.00

00:43:47.140 Like, like people have like gotten pregnant and had kids. 1.00

00:43:51.620 I've been on this shit so long. 0.99

00:43:52.880 You know what I'm saying? 1.00

00:43:53.480 Like, like fucking decades have passed. 0.96

00:43:56.140 It's only, but like, dude, what I kept thinking about really, honestly, uh, like, dude, and 0.95

00:44:02.220 I wonder what, I wonder what it was for you.

00:44:04.240 But like, for me, like the, the days I don't want to do shit, I, I, the question I asked 0.72

00:44:10.800 myself is, dude, are you happy with where you are in life? 0.97

00:44:13.780 Is this all you want?

00:44:16.080 Is this all you want?

00:44:17.460 And the answer is no. 0.99

00:44:18.480 So I got up and fucking did it. 0.99

00:44:20.240 You know what I mean? 0.99

00:44:21.040 Yeah.

00:44:21.280 Uh, and then it was, I don't know if you did this, but it was around that day 50 mark where

00:44:25.040 it started getting kind of hard and I had not implemented the rules that I had at the

00:44:29.660 end for myself.

00:44:30.580 So I, what do you mean?

00:44:32.980 Like I would create daily rules out to stick to the program.

00:44:37.720 Like I could not leave my house until, well, first off, as soon as I woke up before I did

00:44:42.900 anything, I had to take that progress picture.

00:44:44.620 Yeah. 0.96

00:44:44.920 Like it was the first fucking thing I did because there'd be five, seven times to where I would, 0.98

00:44:49.380 it would be the end of the day. 0.99

00:44:50.220 And like you, I would have to get up out of bed and take my fucking progress picture, 0.99

00:44:53.860 dude. 0.99

00:44:54.100 Yeah. 1.00

00:44:54.560 And it might only be 15 feet, but I'm like, fuck. 1.00

00:44:56.740 All right. 0.98

00:44:57.480 So I had to take the progress picture as soon as I got up and I, before I could leave my

00:45:01.020 house, I had to drink three bottles of water.

00:45:03.500 Yeah.

00:45:04.000 Dude, I found myself doing that with the water too.

00:45:06.100 Because I know, because I know if I drink three or four bottles of water early in the

00:45:10.360 day, like 30% of the way, I'll get the rest of the water through with my meals.

00:45:13.820 Yeah.

00:45:14.280 I do the same thing.

00:45:15.000 Well, it was after that, that night to where I didn't have, where you had to drink that

00:45:18.380 half gallon or whatever.

00:45:19.400 Yeah. 0.91

00:45:19.540 That sucked. 0.73

00:45:20.160 I was like, this is not happening again.

00:45:21.520 So the next day I implemented that rule and then, you know, cause at work I'll drink four or

00:45:26.580 five bottles easily.

00:45:27.560 Yeah.

00:45:28.540 And then I could not leave the office on like, if it was a work day, I could not leave the

00:45:34.080 office until I did my 75 hard outdoor workout.

00:45:36.880 Yeah.

00:45:37.340 And that, that became easy.

00:45:38.820 And yeah, even though I did that same thing.

00:45:40.320 Yeah.

00:45:40.500 Even though I wouldn't leave the office till like 8 PM, I know everybody's going to have

00:45:43.300 that lecture.

00:45:43.740 She still got done.

00:45:44.140 Got done.

00:45:44.920 Yeah.

00:45:45.840 And then, you know, obviously what was my other one?

00:45:51.940 I couldn't, obviously I couldn't go to bed till I read my 10 pages, but I always set

00:45:55.060 a side that time because that's when I was the most chill and I could dedicate my mind

00:46:00.220 to the actual book that I was reading.

00:46:01.880 Yeah.

00:46:02.420 Uh, but it was really, the thing I loved most about 75 hard is the way that I tried making

00:46:09.020 it harder.

00:46:09.740 Yeah.

00:46:10.280 You know, like, well, that's how you know, that's how you know you're in it when you start,

00:46:14.460 when your intent is so specific that you start like trying to make it harder.

00:46:18.920 Well, it goes back to being aware that you're getting into a routine and you're going to end

00:46:22.440 up slipping if you don't make it harder.

00:46:24.240 Yes.

00:46:24.640 Uh, you know, it was like what we would watch the weather to make sure like, all right, 0.99

00:46:28.220 it's going to fucking rain. 0.97

00:46:29.360 Like we're not talking about doing extra work, so to speak. 0.99

00:46:32.360 We're talking about just making the work we were doing harder.

00:46:34.840 The conditions.

00:46:35.440 So like Tyler and I would like, we, we would be like, it would be like four or five o'clock 0.98

00:46:40.280 when everybody kind of here starting to wrap up their day and we're like, fuck, it's 0.96

00:46:43.880 going to rain at six. 0.99

00:46:45.060 So we fucking wait till six to go. 0.98

00:46:46.920 Right. 1.00

00:46:47.120 But you know, shit like that, dude, I did it. 1.00

00:46:49.740 I did it in 19 degrees in the snow and I did it in 98 degrees in the fucking heat. 1.00

00:46:54.760 I did it. 0.99

00:46:55.760 I think at least 12 or 13. 1.00

00:46:57.600 I tracked all this shit. 0.98

00:46:58.560 But those were our favorite workouts. 1.00

00:46:59.640 Cause it's like nobody else is fucking doing this. 0.99

00:47:01.800 I did. 1.00

00:47:02.000 Oh, fuck. 1.00

00:47:02.640 Yeah, dude. 1.00

00:47:03.080 The dude, there's nothing better than doing your outdoor workout when it's shitty out

00:47:06.560 and knowing like everybody, like nobody else is willing to pay this price. 1.00

00:47:12.020 That's fucking real shit. 1.00

00:47:13.300 And what's funny is this past Saturday, uh, I was out partying with the blues. 1.00

00:47:17.680 We just won the Stanley cup. 1.00

00:47:19.080 Oh, you're going to try to drop your fucking big dick here. 1.00

00:47:21.040 No, man. 1.00

00:47:21.400 But it was just such a, it was such a cool night.

00:47:23.900 And you know, I, people back of my place and it was just pissing down raining that morning

00:47:28.980 and the sun had just come up and it's, it's raining so hard and I'm in my jeans and everything

00:47:34.080 from the night before. 0.99

00:47:35.020 And I just walk outside and I just stand in the fucking rain. 0.98

00:47:37.900 It was like, dude, I was shivering. 0.99

00:47:39.640 Dude, you know what's funny, dude?

00:47:40.760 It's funny about that is like, I've driven, I've, it's rained every day this week pretty

00:47:45.360 much. 0.98

00:47:45.780 And I've driven my fucking K five blazer that doesn't have a roof every day. 1.00

00:47:50.360 And everybody's like, looking at me, like, look at this fucking idiot driving a convertible. 1.00

00:47:55.560 Didn't even look at the weather before you fucking care. 1.00

00:47:57.820 Like I was smiling. 0.99

00:47:59.060 I'm driving down the road. 0.98

00:48:00.080 It's fucking raining inside my truck and I'm smiling, dude. 0.99

00:48:03.360 I'm like, this is cool as fuck. 0.99

00:48:05.840 Larry actually out in the warehouse was with me on my balcony. 0.99

00:48:08.360 I'm like, dude, this is fucking awesome.

00:48:10.080 Like if you can't enjoy this, like, I agree. 0.86

00:48:12.400 Yeah, dude, it's, there's just so many, I cannot wait for the book to come out so that 0.97

00:48:16.820 we can literally point out to people because there's so much shit that happens. 0.71

00:48:23.940 It's almost hard to even track. 0.97

00:48:25.600 Like when you're having conversations with people and you're like, oh yeah, what about

00:48:28.420 this?

00:48:28.940 Oh yeah.

00:48:29.220 What about that?

00:48:29.920 Dude, it's just exciting.

00:48:30.980 Like I'm getting excited thinking about it.

00:48:32.440 And one last thing I'll say is it, if you haven't done it yet, what you're going to

00:48:37.220 realize is that, and I told this to Vaughn about the, in the book is in the beginning,

00:48:42.020 you're going to think that these things are taking time away from you, but they're actually

00:48:45.500 giving you time for yourself that you weren't given to yourself before.

00:48:49.280 That's right.

00:48:49.960 Like this.

00:48:50.600 No, you were giving it to the walking dead.

00:48:52.240 Yeah.

00:48:52.460 Like this gave me time to work on my spirituality and that has been life changing for me.

00:48:57.560 Jeez. 0.98

00:48:58.360 You mean, you mean all the books I told you to read for the last fucking 10 years, you 0.98

00:49:02.040 actually read them and now you agree? 0.80

00:49:04.420 I mean, it wasn't even really the books.

00:49:05.760 It was more about like, it was more about like being with myself.

00:49:09.220 I'm not saying they did not help.

00:49:10.820 No, just say it.

00:49:11.800 Andy.

00:49:12.220 Andy, you're right.

00:49:13.020 You're right. 0.99

00:49:13.640 I should have fucking listened. 1.00

00:49:14.520 I should have fucking listened. 0.99

00:49:15.900 And if I had listened, I'd be, I'd be much further along and more hamper. 0.99

00:49:20.600 And I don't get much more.

00:49:22.860 Yeah.

00:49:23.840 I'd make more money.

00:49:25.820 I'd make more money.

00:49:27.520 I'd get more chicks. 0.99

00:49:29.200 I mean, dude, more dudes.

00:49:33.140 I'm proud of you, bro. 0.96

00:49:34.300 Like no bullshit. 0.80

00:49:35.240 Thanks, man.

00:49:35.800 Hey, I'm thank you though.

00:49:37.160 Like that program absolutely changed my life.

00:49:39.720 Yeah.

00:49:40.100 And it's going to continue to change lives.

00:49:41.740 Well, yeah.

00:49:41.980 I mean, that's why I'm really excited that you are taking 30 days off because, you

00:49:46.720 know, without those water wings.

00:49:48.360 Yeah, that's right.

00:49:49.120 Well, and that's, I took like two weeks off and I didn't do phase one.

00:49:52.480 I don't know when I'm going to start that yet, but I'm, I'm loving the fact that I'm

00:49:56.320 still doing all these things.

00:49:58.120 Like you see me still doing my outdoor workouts.

00:50:00.220 Like I'm still working out twice a day.

00:50:02.140 I'm still reading.

00:50:02.740 I'm still meditating and visualizing every day.

00:50:05.980 And by the way, Tyler got shredded.

00:50:08.440 Yeah, he is shredded. 0.94

00:50:09.460 But by the way, he's kicking ass at work too. 0.98

00:50:12.620 You know what I'm saying? 0.98

00:50:13.360 Like how much, how much better of a leader am I?

00:50:15.380 A million.

00:50:15.800 I mean, I don't even need your confirmation.

00:50:17.740 I already know I am because of like how they're responding to me.

00:50:21.480 Yes.

00:50:21.840 The work that we're getting done.

00:50:23.240 Yeah.

00:50:24.140 Be a good leader is not me telling you you're a good leader. 0.99

00:50:26.400 It's your team fucking listening to you and responding and executing. 0.99

00:50:30.080 Right. 1.00

00:50:30.360 And that's happening.

00:50:31.740 I've only been telling you that for 10 years, bro. 1.00

00:50:33.920 Bro, I'm stupid. 1.00

00:50:34.940 I'm slow. 1.00

00:50:35.420 All right, guys. 0.98

00:50:38.280 Look, speaking of this, I got to go get my fucking workout in because otherwise I won't. 0.98

00:50:45.240 So, guys, that's that. 0.98

00:50:46.560 That's phase one and 75 hard.

00:50:48.760 The show notes.

00:50:49.400 Check those out.

00:50:51.200 Massive respect to you guys who are doing the program. 0.93

00:50:53.620 It's fucking awesome to see. 0.79

00:50:55.320 I love it. 0.91

00:50:56.300 I'm really, really proud of all of you guys who are finishing the program and you guys

00:51:02.100 who are, you know, making a mistake and then starting over and having integrity and still

00:51:06.300 finishing.

00:51:06.800 That is really cool, too.

00:51:08.360 You know, don't think you're less than because you had to start over once or twice. 0.99

00:51:12.280 Now, if you're going to start over eight or nine times, dude, you got a fucking problem 0.99

00:51:16.140 and you need to address it. 1.00

00:51:18.060 You got to force yourself through this shit. 1.00

00:51:20.100 Like, force it. 1.00

00:51:21.160 Otherwise, guys, you're never going to be anything more than what you are.

00:51:23.680 That's the truth.

00:51:24.260 And if you're not happy with what you are, you got to do something different.

00:51:28.360 And that's going to cause discomfort.

00:51:30.260 It's going to be hard.

00:51:31.400 But I promise you it'll be worth it.

00:51:33.240 All right.

00:51:34.100 So, guys, that's the show for today.

00:51:36.060 Thank you for all the support.

00:51:42.280 And we'll talk to you soon.
