Real Coffee with Scott Adams - Episode 2516 CWSA 06⧸25⧸24

00:00:00.000 all right good morning everybody and welcome to the highlight of human civilization it's called

00:00:11.180 coffee with scott adams and there's never been a better time in your life

00:00:14.640 and if you'd like to take this experience up the levels that nobody can even understand with their

00:00:19.940 tiny human smooth brains all you need is a cup or mug or a glass of tanker gel sysstina canteen

00:00:25.180 jug or flask a vessel of any kind fill it with your favorite liquid i like coffee and join me

00:00:29.480 now for the unparalleled pleasure the dopamine hit of the day the thing that makes everything better

00:00:33.880 it's called the simultaneous sip and it happens now go

00:00:38.380 good stuff

00:00:45.340 well just a warning to you if you've been trying to buy my newish book god's debris this is now the

00:00:55.980 complete works so it's two books plus a short story um and you tried to get it from amazon and

00:01:02.360 you tried to get the hardcover sometimes it tells you it's available in january sometimes december

00:01:08.500 sometimes october sometimes july now you might say to yourself that's weird it seems like it would

00:01:17.720 only be one of those things if it's all through amazon and it's all the hardcover well there is

00:01:22.780 some kind of fuckery going on that i don't quite understand but it's happened with all three books

00:01:28.100 that i've released independently and it's not it's not necessarily amazon's problem by the way

00:01:33.700 because we use a third party entity for the hard hard copy so it's probably something about the

00:01:38.560 interface between the two but a number of people said they had to cancel their order

00:01:44.300 and reorder to get it to arrive in a timely fashion so i recommend that 100 of you who have

00:01:53.440 ordered the book if it doesn't say july cancel it you should cancel it because i don't know what's

00:02:01.560 going on but the people who canceled it reordered it said it worked so cancel it that is my recommendation

00:02:08.520 to you and by the way it is impossible to become a bestseller if when you launch your book it's not

00:02:15.020 actually for sale so it does feel like fuckery it does feel personal but i understand that this process

00:02:23.820 is a little buggy so other people have had similar problems but i'm i'm three for three all right um

00:02:31.660 if you're following dilbert which you can only see if you subscribe to it on x see my profile or

00:02:38.300 the locals platform you would know that uh rat bird is now a writer at the uh a newspaper called the

00:02:44.640 washington poop which is having terrible problems lately the washington poop is but uh rat bird will 0.83

00:02:50.720 be paired up with one of their other writers a writer named phil thumb who is represented as a thumb

00:02:58.100 but uh i hasten to tell you that uh none of this is based on any real people uh the washington poop is

00:03:07.580 not based on anything real totally made up and there are no employees no writers anyway who work for the

00:03:15.000 uh the washington post that some people think i'm making fun of but they don't have any writers that

00:03:20.980 look like thumbs i mean not exactly like thumbs

00:03:27.180 and by that i mean it might remind you of a thumb but in many important details different

00:03:35.260 so just keep that straight anyway as a special thing um i don't have confirmation yet but i think

00:03:43.700 today after this show but not immediately after um at 2 p.m eastern time 11 a.m local my local which is

00:03:54.320 california i'm hoping to talk to michaelian black uh a comedian podcaster actor author has many many

00:04:07.440 uh successful careers and uh he's he would represent let's say a different political view from mine and

00:04:14.800 ask a fascinating question when he saw me post that all the news is fake he said if all the news is fake

00:04:22.400 how do you know what's true that's actually a great question and i think he was quite serious

00:04:27.880 about it like what are you talking about and so i thought it would be fascinating to not debate

00:04:34.600 politics i i don't want to have a debate about who's the best president and we both agree on that

00:04:40.280 by the way we want to talk about how do you know what's true and i think potentially it would be

00:04:46.480 the coolest conversation that anybody's ever had on politics we don't know i mean it's going to be

00:04:52.460 live so anything could happen um i don't have a confirmation yet but i i think we're pretty well

00:04:58.560 set to do that anyway there's news from oakland that the uh hilton hotel that's been in oakland for 56

00:05:04.860 years decided to close now that causes sort of a problem for me because you know i live in the bay area

00:05:12.600 and one of the things my friends are always asking they're saying when i go from my vacation in

00:05:20.980 oakland what's the best place to stay and i would always say well you want to go to the hilton it's

00:05:28.120 but it's the best hotel in oakland but now when my friends want a vacation in oakland i don't know what

00:05:33.560 to say um you can't go to the mcdonald's they close that so i don't know i think you can sleep

00:05:42.460 in the street but it should be safe it should be safe there are a lot of people who live in the

00:05:47.360 streets in oakland and i think they're all safe so you'll be safe just sleep in the street the

00:05:52.900 weather's great well there was a korean air flight that had a scare dropped 27 000 feet in 15 minutes

00:06:01.100 injured 17 people let's see what kind of airplane type is that uh that's a boeing it's a boeing

00:06:09.880 373 max 8 now i have a suggestion i'm not i'm not like an engineer or anything so i can't really

00:06:24.300 help boeing in their uh you know their engineering and their safety but i do know a little bit about

00:06:30.480 marketing a little bit about marketing and here's what i'd do because they got a bad reputation

00:06:36.460 they should make their airplanes entirely in a rubber that way if an airplane ever goes down

00:06:44.820 it will remind you of the company boeing

00:06:49.180 that's called marketing people i can't help you with the engineering but that would be great

00:06:56.000 marketing well another plane went down and made the sound boeing

00:07:00.540 all right that's all i have on that uh there's some legislation that looks like it's going to

00:07:07.800 joe biden's desk so i got through the congress uh that will substantially improve how easy it is to

00:07:15.780 make a nuclear power plant in america as you all know we have screwed ourselves for generations

00:07:22.220 by having you know burdensome uh regulations to get a approval but this uh aims to cut through a bunch

00:07:32.500 of that stuff this is maybe one of the biggest deals in the world you know there'll be once ever

00:07:39.920 time when nuclear becomes a thing uh or not becomes a thing but but is required beyond any doubt

00:07:48.580 so we've reached the point where it is no longer a left versus a right problem it's an engineering

00:07:55.580 problem it's an economic problem it's a little bit of a public relations problem

00:08:01.420 but it doesn't seem to be so much a government problem now and maybe that will make a big difference

00:08:09.080 we'll see you know if i had to bet my bet would be that nuclear will be like other things where it's

00:08:17.280 slow slow slow until it isn't so kind of what i expect is 10 years of nothing you know a lot of

00:08:24.180 planning and talking and engineering followed by 20 years of oh my god look how quickly they're

00:08:29.700 building you know these smaller nuclear plants uh bill gates also said recently nuclear is the only way

00:08:37.280 to get where we need to go whether it's fission or fusion but it's the only way i think we all agree

00:08:43.520 all right here's what i think would be how i would create a new city here's what i'd do i'd find a

00:08:52.280 bunch big bunch of land that's owned by the government the federal government and i'd wait

00:08:58.120 for trump to be president and then i'd say hey i've identified this big chunk of land that the

00:09:03.740 government doesn't seem to be using doesn't look like they'll ever use it but it'd be a great place

00:09:08.460 to build a new city now remember this is trump's idea to build cities from scratch using federal

00:09:15.180 land so you can really do it right here's how i would start i would start by saying we're going to

00:09:21.480 build a nuclear power plant or two meaning that they're modular so basically it's one power plant

00:09:28.000 but it might have more than one reactor later so you get a mini reactor that you know is sufficient

00:09:34.380 to do all of the power for the city you plan to build and then you say that everybody who lives

00:09:41.260 in the city gets a a part of the profits of that so if there's extra the town benefits by selling their

00:09:48.700 extra capacity and indeed they might actually put a second power plant there if they had connection to

00:09:54.460 the grid of course and then they would sell the excess capacity so what you would do is start with a city

00:10:00.460 where the people living there had already bought into the idea that they would be in the general

00:10:05.660 area of a nuclear power plant but in return their electricity would be almost free and it would be

00:10:12.860 a business in other words everybody who lived there would be basically a shareholder in the electric

00:10:19.820 the electric production now why should they be shareholders they absolutely should be because

00:10:25.980 they're taking any risk of being near one if you're going to tell me to live within you know two miles

00:10:31.180 of a nuclear power plant no matter how safe it is and by the way it's really safe now i'm still

00:10:38.380 going to be thinking about it so if you want me to move there maybe i need a piece of the action

00:10:45.500 and i think that could be arranged i also think that the new city should be its own insurance company

00:10:51.100 for every element of insurance maybe not medical but all all the physical stuff you know your car

00:10:58.380 insurance your house insurance your your business insurance it should all be done by the city that

00:11:03.580 you live in and it should be a co-op so that if you make extra money it goes back into the city so the

00:11:12.300 things that the things that the city should do for itself are electricity making a profit

00:11:17.900 um it should put it in its own wi-fi so that nobody's really paying for wi-fi it's just a city

00:11:26.140 city um provided service you should build the city so the transportation is practically

00:11:33.340 free which could be electric cabs they use but you could walk everywhere there's good you know maybe

00:11:40.060 there's good uh good mass transit transit but you could pretty well start from scratch and develop a

00:11:46.940 city that would be almost free you've seen the little uh tesla houses that have a tesla battery

00:11:55.500 pack but also a tesla roof there's zero energy you could do it that way as well you could build it so

00:12:02.540 that every house is self-sufficient independently so the the future of building new cities is really really

00:12:10.220 good because we have all the good stuff now the only reason we don't implement all the good stuff that

00:12:15.900 we know how to do is that it's hard to do it in the existing city you have to start from scratch

00:12:21.740 so new cities it's the future all right there's a new study that says you probably have a lot of 0.99

00:12:27.180 microplastics in your penis now that would be if you're a man and you have a penis or you're a woman 1.00

00:12:35.500 with a penis so either the men or the women with penises they might have a lot of microplastics in it 1.00

00:12:41.260 and the researchers are saying that might lead to erectile dysfunction they don't know but they 0.99

00:12:47.340 think the more plastic in your penis the softer it will be now again i'm no medical expert but i feel 0.98

00:12:58.780 like the more plastic in my penis the harder it would be i mean i'm just going to keep drinking 1.00

00:13:04.140 microplastics until i've got a you know four hour erection that lasts 24 hours you know what i mean 0.99

00:13:11.500 this whole this whole business of losing erection and having to get it back again well that seems like 0.94

00:13:15.820 a lot of work why doesn't you just go plastic stay plastic all right don't listen to anything i say about

00:13:24.700 health except this there's another study that says loneliness can increase the risk of stroke by up to 56

00:13:32.940 percent well that's something that every guy who likes porn already knows am i right

00:13:39.740 am i right if you're a lonely guy the risk of stroking is 50 56 higher than if you're married 0.77

00:13:49.100 yeah yeah okay that's all i have to say about that um scientists have discovered the worst thing that

00:13:55.100 scientists could ever have discovered a gene that causes some people to gain more weight from exactly the

00:14:01.580 same food as other people that don't gain weight from it oh we are so dead

00:14:09.980 that's all we needed was an excuse for being overweight yeah i can't think of a worse thing

00:14:17.580 that the science could have done to us than telling us you know some of you have a magic gene

00:14:24.540 that would be very difficult for you to know for sure if you have it because you're probably not going

00:14:28.780 to go test for it but for now on every time you've got a few extra pounds you can say i sure wish i had

00:14:36.700 the genes you have but i've got this damn obesity gene that just making me gain weight from the same

00:14:43.180 amount of food you're eating so and it's up to a five or ten pound difference they say just having this 0.97

00:14:50.860 gene or not now i don't know um if that gene is what makes you lose gain the weight my my hypothesis

00:15:02.060 and you know i'm always 30 years ahead of medical science so they'll catch up eventually is that some

00:15:07.420 people like eating more than other people and i've told you this observation before and i've noticed it

00:15:13.660 when when i had lots of kids with their friends in the house and if i got a pizza and said hey there's

00:15:21.420 pizza everybody you know and people are let's say kids are doing a sleepover or something they're just

00:15:26.540 all doing their own things and running around they would arrive for the pizza in the same order as their

00:15:32.860 weight the heaviest people would be right there and the people who are maybe even underweight just

00:15:39.980 would even eat one or or they'd get it later much later but it wouldn't they wouldn't care

00:15:45.100 they wouldn't have any hunger at all now i don't know if the hunger is caused by not eating a lot of

00:15:50.700 sugar because you know carbs and sugar can make you hungrier so it could be that not eating makes you

00:15:56.700 want to not eat that could be it but it seemed to me that people had wildly different preferences for

00:16:04.620 eating and that's got to explain almost everything because you know as much as i like to say i do all

00:16:11.580 the right things you know i eat right and exercise and stuff like that really it's because i don't

00:16:17.020 like eating that much if i like the eating as much as some people apparently like eating you know the

00:16:23.740 foodies and the people who are just having an orgasm with every sip of wine i don't have that at all

00:16:29.340 i never have that you know i mean there's some things that taste better than others but

00:16:35.340 i'm not really you know driven by an addiction to food if i were i'd be happier so i don't believe

00:16:41.580 in free will that's what i'm saying i saw some more instagram personal relationship advice as i've told

00:16:49.420 you all relationship advice that you'll see on social media has the following quality uh you have

00:16:56.460 to do these things also those things couldn't possibly work so in other words nobody really

00:17:02.940 has any idea how to make a relationship work literally there there is nobody period who has

00:17:09.580 any advice on relationships that even on paper could work you just look at it and you go well

00:17:16.940 like do you not understand how people work that couldn't work in the real world let me give you an

00:17:21.820 example there was a little clip of a young woman who was explaining that she had figured out what

00:17:26.860 men want and it's so easy she says all men want is basically food sex respect and peace

00:17:36.060 men would you agree with that the the men who are also in that clip were shaking their heads oh yeah 0.87

00:17:41.500 she got it yeah that's all we need we want some food sex respect and peace and we're perfectly happy

00:17:47.740 so so i guess we've unlocked the secret to relationships so there it is uh women have 1.00

00:17:56.220 finally figured out men and once the word gets around then women will start treating men with respect

00:18:02.220 give them peace food and sex on demand um do you see any problem with that world view um

00:18:11.740 um have you ever met a woman have any of you ever met a woman because i feel like a lot of this

00:18:19.660 advice comes from people who couldn't have possibly ever met a woman you know that if a woman gave you 0.97

00:18:27.020 all of these things she would hate your fucking guts it doesn't go any other way you might get those things 0.97

00:18:38.140 but she would hate you you get that right so if you so if you give a woman uh if if a woman feels 0.99

00:18:45.900 like she's just like doing this for a man she's gonna think i'm doing a lot of work for this man 0.92

00:18:52.220 and there's this guy at work who doesn't seem to be so demanding he's so handsome and he's always flirting with me

00:18:59.980 and none of this works i'm pretty sure nobody's figured it out but the the experts on instagram

00:19:07.740 are continuously hilarious it if if simply knowing what you should do worked i think more people would

00:19:15.340 be doing it but women don't want to do these things that's why it doesn't happen it's not because they 1.00

00:19:21.260 don't understand it do you think the problem was knowledge have you ever met a woman oh it's not

00:19:29.340 knowing it has nothing to do with knowing what the man wants they always know what we want they

00:19:35.500 always know what we want they just choose not to give it for a variety of different reasons that

00:20:42.700 please play responsibly uh nasa canceled a spacewalk because one of the uh space suits was leaking water

00:20:52.060 well i'm no astronaut but i can tell you if i ever put on a space suit um in space and i was about to go

00:21:01.020 outside my capsule uh i'm pretty sure my space suit would be leaking water too if you know what i mean

00:21:08.060 yeah yeah that's all i had for that um so congress is uh contemplating for the first time ever separating

00:21:16.780 alcohol from their food diet recommendations

00:21:22.860 well if you can't if you can't trust the government with your food recommendations

00:21:27.660 who can you trust uh speaking of which jordan peterson recently said uh on an interview i have never

00:21:35.100 recovered from finding out that the food pyramid is a scam is there a worse medical crime in history

00:21:41.340 i agree with that the the food pyramid lies that we're all told might be the biggest crime in american

00:21:52.940 history you know you can say covet is up there now you can say you know all of our bad things happening

00:21:59.180 in our politics are up there but i don't know that anything had more direct impact than lying about what

00:22:05.740 food is healthy that's that's about as bad as anybody's ever been in the history of humankind

00:22:14.620 so i agree with jordan peterson and i can say that that one thing um changed me forever

00:22:22.460 now so when jordan says i've never recovered from it oh i feel that i have never recovered from the fact

00:22:29.100 that the government lied to me that much i mean that's a big one we're gonna lie to you to tell 0.81

00:22:36.620 you to do something that will fucking kill you slowly and we know it i mean i assume some of them knew it 0.98

00:22:45.740 but apparently the discussion is that uh used to be that people thought well a couple drinks a week 0.99

00:22:52.700 isn't going to hurt you but now they're thinking maybe a couple drinks per week might hurt you

00:22:59.100 or at least you're not going to be worse off if you don't have them uh i was listening to

00:23:03.660 andrew huberman asked yes the same answer the same question uh are you going to be do you really have

00:23:08.780 to go to zero drinking and he didn't want to be you know the moralist who told you what you should or

00:23:14.620 should not do with your life so he was clear that he wasn't recommending but he didn't think that two

00:23:21.180 drinks a week was going to kill you but you'd probably not be any healthier because of it which is a

00:23:27.180 good way to say it i think i think he chose his words carefully there's no evidence that that

00:23:32.620 moderate drinking makes you healthier remember they used to say it did so that's a big step

00:23:38.220 because people believe huberman and he's saying as clearly as possible no drinking a little bit

00:23:44.380 isn't going to make you healthier even if they used to tell you that all the time it's like the food

00:23:48.380 pyramid it was an obvious lie that's gone on for decades it was just obviously a lie i've been telling you

00:23:55.420 forever it was obviously a lie now i doubt that so the smarter thing that they've done is they've

00:24:02.700 treated alcohol like it's not food thank you what are they treated like poison what did andrew huberman

00:24:12.620 in his new video on this what did he frame alcohol as poison he actually said alcohol is a form of poison

00:24:20.780 there you go alcohol is poison it gets around um 0.97

00:24:30.140 so i guess the supreme court is uh delaying into july some of its big decisions cowards you cowards i don't 0.96

00:24:37.340 know why they're delaying it maybe it's just more work than usual but some of the big stuff we'll still

00:24:42.220 have to wait for meanwhile the big story today is uh julian assange is free um you can understand why

00:24:50.620 the cia wanted to kill him and mike pence still thinks he should be in jail and um i think there's

00:24:57.660 this report that hillary wanted to end him he once said in public the goal is to have endless wars not 0.94

00:25:04.300 a successful war sort of famous for saying that so uh he's he did a plea deal i guess he's got some

00:25:14.380 health issues that may have played into his willingness to do a plea deal but he he'll end up

00:25:19.740 back in australia and he'll be free in australia after the plea deal is completed now this raises many

00:25:30.300 questions number one did he give out any secret information in return for this leniency

00:25:40.060 is that what happened is there more to this deal than the public knows for example

00:25:45.100 maybe they just needed maybe the bad guys just needed to know who his source was maybe he gave

00:25:51.420 it up maybe the source died and so he felt he could give it up so we don't know what's happening

00:25:58.780 right i doubt he would just give up a source because he went to jail for a long time to not do stuff like

00:26:04.540 that so i'm gonna i'm gonna go with probably assange did not make a deal that you wouldn't be happy with

00:26:11.180 probably not don't know for sure um but the other idea is that the only reason it's happening now is to

00:26:18.540 take it off the table before the election because trump was definitely going to pardon him or whatever

00:26:25.740 the term is and uh that would have given the libertarians a strong reason to vote for trump

00:26:32.700 if they had been on the fence so this takes away that strong reason they still have ross albrecht

00:26:38.860 and they may feel the same about him so if he gets pardoned before the election

00:26:45.660 then it's just political yeah that would be a little bit on the nose 0.96

00:26:51.980 uh the other the other thing i worry about is that it's really a plan to kill him 0.97

00:26:56.380 because once he's a free-range chicken it's going to be a lot easier to get to him

00:27:00.700 and arrange an accident so i'm super concerned that an accident will happen to him in the next

00:27:08.780 18 months that seems kind of dangerous um

00:27:15.420 but um he's already flown out uh i think they put him on a boeing flight oh god

00:27:21.020 no i'm just making that up it wasn't a boeing but it would be funny if it were

00:27:24.860 okay and i guess he had to spend half a million dollars just for the private flight

00:27:31.980 because there was some reason he couldn't take a commercial flight i don't know had to go to some

00:27:36.940 weird island for reasons that are too boring to talk about uh anyway so uh on the law affair of trump

00:27:44.140 you've got uh judge cannon and um

00:27:51.740 so she's doing a bunch of rulings and the democrats are mad because she's taking too long and 0.94

00:27:57.340 she seems to be very deliberate and she's ruling both for and against the trump defense

00:28:03.500 so i think the democrats just

00:28:05.580 they're just they're just not happy when things are going the way they're supposed to go

00:28:11.820 they just want trump punished if they don't care anything about the law i think is the bottom line

00:28:19.020 but

00:28:24.620 anyway i don't care about the details of that

00:28:28.300 if you were to ask your amazon digital device whose name i won't say because it will trigger all your

00:28:34.220 devices at home uh if you ask it who is the most powerful doctor in the world it says bill gates

00:28:41.740 that's right it says bill gates is the most powerful doctor in the world

00:28:45.980 or influential now the interesting thing about that is i assume that's an ai driven response

00:28:52.860 is it wrong now bill gates does not have a medical license but does he do more medical stuff

00:29:03.420 than any other medical person and i think the answer is yes and i think he personally has to

00:29:10.940 say let's do this or it doesn't get done because you know it's his money so this is not a wrong answer

00:29:19.580 he doesn't have a doctor's license to practice but he is in fact the most consequential doctor in

00:29:26.140 the united states if not the world because he has so much influence on you know vaccinations and malaria

00:29:33.740 and you know by the way there's a lot of stuff that you would agree with

00:29:37.500 right eradicating malaria and stuff like that you probably wouldn't have a problem with that

00:29:42.780 so good and bad this is actually true that this you know it was sort of reported as that's a crazy

00:29:50.860 answer it's not it's actually the exact right answer in my opinion i think the ai nailed it this

00:29:57.580 time so that's fun to watch when the ai gets it right when you don't expect them to

00:30:03.740 so i was watching another trump campaign uh video and i i tell you i keep telling you this but the skill

00:30:12.860 that the trump campaign has this time is way higher than what we've seen before

00:30:18.780 the you know i won't show it to you because you can imagine it but it's got all this strong imagery

00:30:24.700 you know trump looking like a boss he likes to show his plane take you off and landing because that's

00:30:30.300 like a strong exciting thing watching the plane um it shows him uh attending the ufc and getting a big

00:30:38.460 hand that's a strong thing you know a bunch of men who fight cheering for him that shows strength

00:30:43.980 um and then of course you know there's the soaring pros and above but uh this time they were playing

00:30:50.780 hip-hop music so the music on top of the video was uh hip-hop is that the first time

00:31:02.140 because it seems to me that trump had a bad habit of playing the whitest music in the world at his rallies

00:31:07.900 and that is you know also on his uh campaign stuff but if he's moved to uh a hip-hop vibe

00:31:18.140 smart because the music is good you know it's got a great feel to it wasn't anything i was familiar

00:31:24.540 with but you know when you hear it you go oh that's that fits that commercial it's a strong beat and

00:31:29.740 everything so yes everything that the trump campaign is doing it's so on point it's so on

00:31:37.500 point that you don't think about it if you look at any joe biden campaign ad you no matter what your

00:31:45.100 politics are if you were just being objective about it they're they all look like they were done by

00:31:49.340 high school projects honestly like literally they look like they were done by high school projects

00:31:55.260 but the trump stuff looks like the best things you've ever seen in that domain i i can't i can't

00:32:01.020 keep ignoring that i mean it's a big big difference in just talent in the campaign

00:32:08.940 anyway uh byron york was reporting on x how trump describes how the debate happened in the first place

00:32:16.540 now this is similar to what i thought so trump's on the same page uh i'll summarize it which is

00:32:24.140 that once trump said that he would debate biden anywhere and in any way then biden sprung the trap

00:32:32.540 of creating the situation that trump would least like to want least like to want to debate him which is

00:32:40.460 cnn cnn hosts who've been calling him hitler forever um sitting down no audience microphones turned

00:32:49.420 off basically everything he agreed to are all the things that are good for biden and bad for him

00:32:55.100 now he thinks that maybe the trick was to get him to reject the debate and i agree with that i think

00:33:02.300 they're trying to get his such create a situation in which he would say i'm not going to debate because

00:33:09.180 that would have been a really bad mistake i i've seen some social media opinions that he shouldn't debate

00:33:15.420 because it's you know too biased against him i disagree with that completely i disagree completely

00:33:24.140 and it's because the andre agassi tennis strategy i keep explaining he needs to go destroy their

00:33:30.860 strongest fort not their weak ones nobody's going to be impressed if he tears apart you know some

00:33:38.540 weak pundit on a weak platform he knows he needs to go into the belly of the beast

00:33:44.380 and then he just needs to own it so the fact that it's the worst setup that could possibly be for him

00:33:52.140 is the best setup for him because if he can't if he can't accomplish this go into an unfriendly territory

00:34:00.220 and conquer it maybe he's not the president you need honestly if he can't go into this situation and dominate

00:34:08.620 it and you know he can but if he doesn't well we're gonna have some questions aren't we we'd have some

00:34:16.300 real questions you know did some change you know what why are you not performing the way we expected

00:34:22.060 you too so i think that trump going into the worst situation for trump is the best situation for trump

00:34:30.940 because i'm very confident that he'll do well um and we've seen him talk about his advisors who

00:34:37.340 saying you know whether he should go hard at biden or whether he should you know maybe try to be a normal

00:34:42.620 person so you know that he's had lots of time to think about the approach i think he's already

00:34:50.700 signaling that he's going to play it cool and just let biden talk he didn't say it and anything could

00:34:58.220 happen but he seems to be signaling that he is at least agreeable that that's not a dumb idea you

00:35:07.340 know he's very much considering the play is safe here's what i think i think that uh biden's entire 0.92

00:35:14.300 attack is going to be this trump guy is crazy and chaotic all trump has to do is not be crazy and chaotic 0.98

00:35:21.900 that's it it looks stupid when biden's accusing him of chaos when trump is just calmly explaining how 1.00

00:35:32.460 he's the one who who brought you know border security and you know um a good economy and that 0.96

00:35:39.020 the real chaos is the inflation and the open border and two wars now he can say that just calmly and just

00:35:45.580 completely dismantle uh biden but here's the risk it's never super safe to tell trump to not act like

00:35:57.820 trump because we don't know how much practice he has acting like somebody else he's got a lifetime of

00:36:04.620 acting like himself he knows how to do that but is he going to play a different character just because

00:36:11.820 it would help him win he can but who knows all right um did you know that one of the co-hosts

00:36:24.300 so jake tapper will be hosting the debate with dana bash his co-worker did you know that dana bash

00:36:30.780 according to the amuse account which you should all be following amuse on the x platform uh great stuff

00:36:37.580 by the way that i don't see i don't see in other places so amuse has some game um the dana bash's

00:36:45.420 ex-husband is one of the p 51 people who signed the letter that said the laptop was russian disinformation

00:36:57.820 so yeah when we talk about uh the the hosts being biased you got jake tapper who has been calling

00:37:06.780 trump basically some form of hitler forever and you got dana bash who's ex-husband uh signed the laptop

00:37:14.060 letter now of course it's an ex-husband and it's a different person right it's not dana bash it's her

00:37:21.180 husband ex-husband but it seems unlikely that they're on super different pages on this question

00:37:28.620 and i'd love to know if dana bash reported the laptop as russian and from disinformation i'm guessing

00:37:36.540 yes without looking into it all right so as you know the uh snopes um i guess in june they made the

00:37:47.820 change but we just noticed it recently that uh they made the change to say that the fine people

00:37:53.740 hoax was indeed a hoax and that the president never called the racist fine people and in fact

00:37:59.580 he said directly the opposite now as you know that was the centerpiece of biden's entire campaign

00:38:06.540 and he's still saying it so you might say to yourself my god this is the biggest story in the

00:38:13.260 whole country i mean what is bigger than that the entire country is torn apart by charlottesville and then

00:38:21.500 the you know the boosting of it as a message that the president had called actual racists you know

00:38:27.580 marching racists fine people now of course it didn't happen but so you may have noticed that

00:38:34.780 it was trending on x and it was uh it was basically in every news outlet and every pundit and every

00:38:43.500 independent person mentioned it in a big way you all notice that right every person you follow

00:38:51.500 on x if you're on x everyone talked about it do you know what's missing every group that you don't

00:39:00.780 follow didn't talk about it in other words if you're republican leaning and you're following a

00:39:06.220 bunch of republican news sites and commenters they all talked about it 100 everyone from fox news to

00:39:14.140 breitbart to you know your independence you know colin rug everybody basically everybody now have you

00:39:23.100 heard a grounded news it's it's a they're a group who likes to show you where there are blind spots in

00:39:31.340 the news so ground news you can see them it's an app and it's also a website um showed me and then i posted it

00:39:42.780 that there was uh nearly a hundred percent coverage of the conservative news landscape

00:39:48.060 and zero on the left-leaning news zero actually zero none not a single one

00:40:00.460 one now if you're doing a little dance and saying finally you know we broke we broke the hoax

00:40:09.660 no we didn't no we did not no there were no hoaxes that were debunked

00:40:14.380 the people who knew it was a hoax got more information for what they already knew

00:40:20.620 that's you know snopes confirmed it but there's not a single person on the left who is aware that

00:40:26.700 it's a hoax and they have no way to find out because they're sure as hell not going to turn on fox news

00:40:33.020 and if they do they're sure as hell not going to believe anything they say so amazingly

00:40:39.180 the biggest story in the country by far this is the biggest is way bigger than assange

00:40:46.140 it's bigger than inflation it's bigger than everything that the current president ran on a

00:40:51.900 known hoax and divided the country to do it and is still claiming the hoax to be true and

00:40:58.700 the entire corporate media except the right-leaning media is backing him still still

00:41:04.860 that's the biggest story in the country it's completely invisible to half the country

00:41:15.180 bank more encores when you switch to a scotia bank banking package

00:41:19.660 learn more at scotia bank.com slash banking packages conditions apply scotia bank you're richer than you

00:41:26.460 think so in my opinion um we are not a republic and we're not a democracy but we're not a dictator

00:41:34.780 ship per se we're a hoaxocracy our entire system is hoaxes are floated by the democrats their media

00:41:45.020 puppets repeat the hoaxes and and that becomes our reality and then the the politicians sort of have to

00:41:55.180 follow the hoax and the voters end up following the hoax when they vote so we don't have a republic we

00:42:01.020 have a hoaxocracy and that's not an exaggeration this is the important point i i mean literally

00:42:08.220 the the fundamental operating system of the united states is hoaxes

00:42:14.700 we we just have to deal with that i think we need to just wake up our system is one hoax after another

00:42:22.220 that informs all of our actions so the things we teach our kids the way we vote the way the schools

00:42:30.780 are organized the way we write our history it's all fake i don't know how long that's been the case

00:42:37.340 probably all of my life but once you realize that you're living within a hoax it's not a republic

00:42:44.940 it's not a democracy it's not even close we're not even in the same like planetary planetary orbit

00:42:55.340 as any of those things we are purely a hoax based system and maybe always have been

00:43:02.380 i don't know i don't know how long it's been but clearly at this point we're just a hoax

00:43:07.100 speaking of which george soros is already spent 400 million dollars trying to buy the second biggest

00:43:15.980 radio network so he's working the fcc which has a lot of democrats in it and trying to get approval for

00:43:23.100 it now why in the world would we be okay with george soros owning the second biggest radio network

00:43:33.020 clearly he's buying he is buying protection for the hoaxocracy what else could it be he he wants to

00:43:43.500 make sure that there's nobody who can tell you the truth that's the whole point do you think that

00:43:50.700 do you think that george soros decided that radio was the good investment of course not are you 0.96

00:43:58.380 fucking kidding me no radio is not an investment no you do it for control so people don't find out 0.94

00:44:06.380 what you're really up to there's no other reason why do you think bezos owns washington post because 0.97

00:44:13.260 he really likes the dying newspaper industry no now in his case he might have some pressure from some

00:44:21.820 intelligence sources but clearly none of this is about news it is about maintaining hoaxes

00:44:32.300 all right that's the the network that soros is trying to buy reaches 165 million monthly listeners

00:44:41.900 165 million yeah you know if it weren't for uh rupert murdoch

00:44:47.900 who as you know is now from this country there wouldn't be any competing news

00:44:56.380 imagine if fox news didn't exist and by the way it's not my job to say they get everything right

00:45:02.700 because they don't they don't get everything right but if you didn't have the competing version

00:45:09.100 you would really really be confused about the world you live in imagine if all the news

00:45:14.060 fox news was just the hoaxocracy stuff that's the way it was before fox news it was only the hoax

00:45:21.740 hoaxocracies all right let me give you another example of that now we have 16 nobel economists

00:45:31.020 that have gone public with some kind of letter saying that trump is a real risk to inflation and that a

00:45:37.740 trump presidency would be an inflation bomb let's see they're economists that sounds good they're nobel

00:45:45.260 prize-winning economists oh my god that sounds credible and oh there's 16 of them oh my god

00:45:52.300 there's 16 of them i mean they can't be wrong could they could they be wrong i mean there's 16 of them

00:45:59.660 and they're the the very best these are the these are the nobel economists for god's sakes

00:46:07.340 unfortunately you should see this more like the 51 intel people who signed the laptop

00:46:12.940 no it's not their real opinion and if it is it's from cognitive dissonance no you shouldn't listen to

00:46:18.460 them as experts no they don't have a good argument yes if you have even a little bit of understanding 0.97

00:46:24.460 economics you know this is complete bullshit as everyone does who took it you know one economics 0.60

00:46:31.340 course and if you need some more uh explaining of why the nobel economists do not have let's say a lock 0.98

00:46:45.100 on what's true let me just ask you this question why do we have inflation

00:46:51.260 if all these economists know how to avoid it and they seem to be willing to advise us

00:47:00.620 and they're all on the same page where were they before where were these same economists telling us

00:47:09.100 that hey the things you're doing right now are going to cause massive inflation

00:47:13.580 did they because if they did well i might actually listen to them wow they got it right that

00:47:19.500 time maybe they get it right again but we live in a world where i guarantee you remember i have a

00:47:27.820 degree in economics and i can tell you for sure there are no economists who understand inflation

00:47:35.580 now that sounds like a big claim because it seems obvious print more money you got inflation if it were

00:47:42.940 that easy everybody would have the same uh project prediction if you could just sort of look at it you

00:47:52.060 go huh well i've sort of skimmed this topic and uh it looks to me like trump's going to drive that

00:47:57.900 inflation through the roof now what would be the argument for why trump would cause more inflation

00:48:05.020 what do you think the argument sounds like well here we go um the the reason that he's doing it is

00:48:16.940 because um um i don't think they had a reason but one of them was oh here's one of the reasons

00:48:27.500 uh that the trump presidency could take inflation to new heights uh because a january 6th style attack

00:48:37.100 on democratic institutions could undermine global economic stability i think that was an axios

00:48:46.300 so so let's see if you can follow this so the january 6th hoax

00:48:51.500 was that trump was trying to overthrow the country but all of you know that was a hoax so the reason

00:48:59.900 that trump would cause inflation

00:49:03.820 is that the people who made up this hoax say that he might do more of the things that he's never done

00:49:11.580 and then people would think there's chaos and then that would through a process called magic

00:49:17.500 would cause your prices to go up there's your 16 nobel economist right there 0.98

00:49:26.860 no it's complete bullshit it's absolute complete 51 people say the laptop is russian disinformation 0.99

00:49:36.540 russia collusion fine people hoax drinking bleach bullshit and it's organized again 1.00

00:49:45.660 have you seen the pattern that when when republicans are wrong about something it's because they were 0.99

00:49:52.300 just wrong now they're wrong about a lot in my opinion but it's always just comes from some source

00:49:58.940 that wasn't good enough and you know they bought into it and it got boosted and you know it fits some

00:50:04.140 narrative so they wanted to believe it so republicans are like free range um

00:50:11.500 free-range truth believers you know they're they're all over the place but the but every time you see

00:50:20.620 one of these big lies coming from democrats they're organized somebody got 15 16 nobel economists to say 0.96

00:50:27.740 something that's kind of obviously stupid somebody got 51 intel people to sign the thing that they 1.00

00:50:34.860 clearly didn't believe was true unless they're that dumb but i don't think so the russia collusion hoax 0.99

00:50:41.020 gigantic multi-entity uh hoax that involve all kinds of groups and entities organized the fine people hoax 0.96

00:50:53.020 organized it's an organized because the media is obviously just backing up their their masters

00:50:59.020 it's all organized do you think the fact that there are no left-leaning um entities covering it

00:51:05.980 is completely an accident i doubt it even carville was talking about how uh he wants biden to say

00:51:13.260 some things that give all the democrats their marching orders so they know what to say and do

00:51:19.100 it's very it's we're well understood that uh the direction is some 0.85

00:51:24.460 bullshit is created at the top and then everybody has to lie about the same 0.96

00:51:28.860 bullshit and that's their model now how does it work on the other side 0.99

00:51:33.500 let me explain how it works on the other side i already told you a story exactly how it works 0.98

00:51:39.500 trump went into an interview this is a story i just told you and he said some people are saying i should

00:51:46.060 you know calm down when i do the debate some people are saying i should do this

00:51:50.620 when he's choosing the vice president he talks about you know some people are saying i should

00:51:55.260 pick this person some people think i'll pick this person trump is receiving wisdom from the audience

00:52:02.780 not always right you know maybe maybe the audience gets it wrong but trump is a receptacle of what is

00:52:10.540 true and sometimes what isn't but it's coming from the bottom up and he is just focusing that energy

00:52:16.620 and then he converts it into government he is a true populist he literally cares deeply based on

00:52:24.860 action i'm not reading his mind his actions suggest he cares a lot about the what the base wants

00:52:32.460 and then he tries to give it to him that is not happening on the left on the left there's some kind of

00:52:37.980 weird brainwashing gaslighting hoaxocracy that's being hatched every minute in every category and then

00:52:45.580 the the sheep are told what to say and do very different and what do the democrats describe this

00:52:52.700 system as trump is stealing your democracy that's what they describe that as

00:52:59.020 and obviously it's projection all right

00:53:07.420 um so la um is having a problem with homeless camps you know the homeless are creating a lot

00:53:15.100 of camps on the sidewalk but thank god i saw a report by end wokeness which is one word it's the account on

00:53:23.660 x you should really follow that one too so two accounts they should just absolutely take my word

00:53:30.380 for it just don't fight right if you're on x just do this please just follow these guys it's one is uh

00:53:39.100 end wokeness one word and the other is amuse just spelled the way you think just follow them it's like

00:53:48.700 it's like what what you would see if the news were real that's what it is it's the stuff you'd see if

00:53:55.100 the news were real it's really good stuff anyway um so end wokeness reports that finally la is doing

00:54:02.700 something about all the homeless camps checking out the details what they're doing about all the homeless

00:54:09.100 camps um oh okay they're removing the barriers that businesses put up that were trying to end the

00:54:17.100 homeless camps okay so this is the wrong direction they're trying to figure out how to stop businesses 0.63

00:54:23.500 for making it difficult to camp in front of their store that's really happening do you think this story

00:54:31.020 will be uh in the left-leaning press a lot i don't know it probably wasn't as a it probably was in the

00:54:38.860 left-leaning press as a good thing all right well the press speaking of the press says that uh

00:54:46.780 trump's vp picks are down to three bergam vance and rubio then this morning there was a vague rumor but

00:54:54.140 i don't think there's substance to it um i'm not so sure that it's narrowed down to these three

00:55:01.660 bergam vance and rubio not so sure um if it were these three i would say bergam is boring

00:55:14.460 vance might be too useful in congress and by the way he he's the whitest looking person in the history 0.82

00:55:21.980 of the united states and i do worry that that will just cause the other people to have one more reason to

00:55:27.900 get worked up now there's nothing like i like his views so he's he's very strong and communication

00:55:36.060 his communication skills are through the roof he looks great you know he's handsome he's young

00:55:42.940 he's aggressive uh he's got balls he's like everything you want but uh he's also great in

00:55:51.340 where he is so some of the calculation is uh who do you want to move out of a place that they're

00:55:57.340 already great uh rubios some people say he might be a little too connected to i don't know the deep

00:56:05.100 state or something so people yeah rubio is too swampy people are saying in the comments right now

00:56:11.100 so here's what i think it's not any of those three so i'm gonna um let me say two things first

00:56:19.900 uh i have famously written and i'm republishing win bigly in the next month or so it's a little

00:56:26.460 updated um so i famously said that nobody can guess the vice president and that that's the worst thing

00:56:38.220 that i can guess so it's the vice president pick is totally based on things that are happening behind

00:56:44.700 the curtain that you and i don't know about so our ability to guess who we pick is close to zero

00:56:50.700 i mean i didn't see mike pence on anybody's list so i'm gonna i'm gonna i'm gonna take the following

00:56:58.620 prediction that it won't be one of those three and it won't be vivek now vivek because he's too strong

00:57:08.220 the same with with vance they're both too strong um rubio's

00:57:14.700 i i wouldn't say rubio's too strong he's a great communicator he seems to be a solid senator

00:57:22.300 but uh you know he's got that people have the suspicion he's a he's swampy i i don't know that

00:57:28.380 that's true i don't personally have any uh visibility into that but i'm gonna say just based on past

00:57:35.500 pattern that we don't know who it is and it's not going to be one of the obvious ones i think that

00:57:41.580 trump's got a surprise coming so now remember i will ask you not to include this with my prediction

00:57:51.180 prediction list if you're looking what i got right and got wrong i'm probably wrong this would be the

00:57:57.340 least confident prediction i'll ever make nobody's good on guessing vice presidents nobody's good at it

00:58:04.460 and i'm definitely not good at it it's it's all based on stuff we couldn't possibly know

00:58:11.180 all right um here's an interesting question if you like to play supreme court judge or justice

00:58:19.020 um so there's a question in the uh case where jack smith is going after the mar-a-lago documents that's

00:58:26.060 judge canon is presiding over that and uh i think she said this quote uh talking about the budget

00:58:34.460 there's some question about what is jack smith's budget for going after trump and i think the answer

00:58:41.500 is there's no budget meaning there's no cap meaning that's unlimited budget now what does that tell you

00:58:49.100 if you heard that the government has a person with an unlimited budget to prosecute one person no matter

00:58:58.380 who that person is would you say to yourself hmm that sounds like justice will be done because they

00:59:04.300 got a big budget to do it or would it sound more like clearly targeting somebody because we never say

00:59:12.940 the budget is unlimited why would this be the one time the budget is unlimited the only reason i can

00:59:20.380 think of is that the only thing that matters is getting trump which would suggest it's political

00:59:27.420 now i wouldn't have seen that i i have to say that's sort of an interesting interpretation but

00:59:33.180 apparently judge canon said quote when it's limitless meaning the budget i think there is a separation of

00:59:39.420 powers concern which is the good judge way to put it a concern about separation of powers yes it would

00:59:47.580 look like the executive branch giving an unlimited budget to go after their uh opponent it would look

00:59:55.420 exactly like that by the way are you aware that um when the documents were found we now have confirmation

01:00:06.700 that the cover the cover sheets that were photographed with those mar-a-lago documents

01:00:12.060 it's now confirmed that those were not part of the documents that the fbi added those into the photos

01:00:18.940 now they said they were just placeholders and stuff and blah blah we don't know how they got in the photos

01:00:23.740 but it looked like they intentionally took in cover sheets that would make things look very confidential

01:00:30.860 to mix it in with the stuff that maybe wasn't so confidential so it looked like it was more of a scandal than it was

01:00:37.020 now maybe you know maybe there's some innocent reason for it it doesn't look like it it looks

01:00:43.340 like exactly what it looks like but here's the more important point the thing we also know that nobody's

01:00:49.100 arguing is that the fbi asked mar-a-lago to turn off the security cameras for what they said was the safety

01:00:58.540 of the agents what exactly would make the agents less safe if there was a video camera is it because

01:01:09.180 we'd learn their identities is that why uh because that doesn't seem to be the problem with

01:01:16.620 other law enforcement you know i i believe that the police wear body cams fairly routinely

01:01:25.180 and i'm pretty sure that most crimes the way we figure them out is because somebody had a security

01:01:30.460 camera on so why would this be the one time and by the way is that common so i would ask you this

01:01:37.580 question does the fbi ask other entities to turn off the security cameras too now if i found out it

01:01:45.420 was standard procedure i'd say well that's a maybe a bad procedure but at least i'd understand why it

01:01:51.500 happened in mar-a-lago if it's not a standard procedure in uh calling dan bongino uh dan bongino

01:02:00.540 i need a i need a ruling uh is it a standard procedure to ask for the security cameras to be

01:02:07.900 turned off after a site has been completely controlled before they even entered so in other

01:02:14.060 words they negotiated with the secret service that had security control of the the whole building

01:02:21.500 and since they're on the same side you know they're working for the government they're not trying to

01:02:26.060 break any laws they should have known that there was no danger to the people because what would it be

01:02:33.500 other than identities but that seems common to most law enforcement so i would uh i would propose this

01:02:44.060 if you put me on a jury i don't think there'll be a jury trial but if you put me in a jury and the

01:02:50.300 defense said i want to tell you one thing they asked for the security cameras to be turned off before

01:02:57.660 they went in i rest my case i would have my decision then i wouldn't even listen to the rest of the

01:03:07.020 evidence be blah blah blah evidence blah blah blah i'd say i don't care if you turned off your if you

01:03:13.820 told them to turn off the security cameras before you entered innocent innocent that's that's what

01:03:21.100 i call reasonable doubt reasonable doubt is you're not so sure that this evidence came to you in the

01:03:27.260 right way i would say i don't even care what the evidence was if you tell me that they had to turn the

01:03:34.380 cameras off sorry that i don't know what judge would be up enough to allow that to go forward there's

01:03:45.100 there's nothing else that i even cared about what you know as i was watching this i was like well

01:03:49.980 evidence evidence you know defense prosecution kind of a normal back and forth but that doesn't look

01:03:57.180 normal to me if the fbi came to my house and told me to turn off my video cameras

01:04:07.020 i would think they're going to kill me

01:04:11.100 and i would have to consider actually violence in return

01:04:16.540 i i wouldn't do it i don't think but i would consider it because i wouldn't consider it within

01:04:21.260 the legal process it would look like an extra legal thing which would be the scariest thing in the world

01:04:26.860 with people with guns come and tell you they're not going to follow the law right we have guns and

01:04:33.420 we want you to turn off the camera i'm sorry you can't do both we have guns turn off your cameras

01:04:42.860 that's that just has to be that has to be a hundred percent standard that whatever you do after that

01:04:51.260 doesn't count any evidence you get after that throw it out i'd love to see that go to the supreme court

01:04:57.980 that if the people who come in with guns tell you to turn off your cameras

01:05:02.460 that that should be the end of the case dismissed i don't even care what was in those boxes

01:05:07.340 by the way remember when that first broke and all the the fake news the hoaxocracy was telling you there

01:05:15.020 were nuclear secrets now they've looked at all the contents do you think they would tell you if

01:05:23.020 there was something dangerous in there of course they wouldn't tell you the details if it were

01:05:29.580 actually something dangerous but they would say at least something like this there was something that

01:05:34.540 gave away sources and methods i mean that would be kind of specific and i wouldn't need to know the

01:05:41.820 details i'd say oh if it's true it's bad or they'd say there are plans for an attack on a nuclear

01:05:50.060 facility i would say oh i'm not so sure that's true given all the other things we've seen but

01:05:56.700 if it's true yeah that's bad that's bad but why haven't you heard that you haven't even heard the

01:06:03.100 general domain in which some of this information would be a problem why if it's totally to their

01:06:11.580 advantage to tell you that there were in fact really important secrets in those mar-a-lago boxes

01:06:17.580 you don't think they'd at least give you the adam shift treatment well i can't tell you what we saw

01:06:23.420 but let me tell you i looked at it myself and there's stuff about nuclear things that you wouldn't

01:06:28.780 want anybody to see but i did whoa i hope nobody else sees these big secrets of course there's nothing

01:06:35.340 important in there you would know about that by now do you think the hoaxocracy has modified their

01:06:41.340 statements from there might be nuclear secrets we're pretty sure there are to well honestly we

01:06:48.540 haven't really heard anything bad in those boxes well two courts kansas and missouri obviously conservative

01:06:58.540 states um there were court rulings to block temporarily at least the student loan relief

01:07:05.180 that biden was touting now some of it's going to go forward that's already been uh i guess grandfathered

01:07:12.300 in but um and this isn't a permanent stop it's just a stay until they figure out what's what's what

01:07:20.540 but i'm glad to see that the republicans are fighting back over in israel there's a movement to

01:07:29.260 to start drafting the ultra orthodox jewish members because they're exempt the only ones who are exempt 0.91

01:07:36.060 from the israel military and i think there's thinking that if everybody shared in the the pain and the

01:07:43.340 sacrifice that israel would be making better decisions in other words it's easy to send somebody 0.98

01:07:49.420 else's door but if it's your kids or it's you maybe you think about it twice so i don't really have

01:07:58.780 an opinion about how israel runs their country let me be clear about that israel is your country and if

01:08:06.460 i had an opinion you should ignore it it's your country i'd love you to do the same with my country

01:08:13.020 i'd love you to leave us alone and you know just let us do our thing and you know we can be allies

01:08:19.020 and all that but no i'm not going to tell israel i don't even have an opinion whether they should

01:08:24.940 extend the draft to this group but is a it's not a big group it's the people who study all day

01:08:32.300 right so basically it's not people who are just going to the regular job or anything it's people who just

01:08:38.380 have chosen life of study so that it's kind of a small group i guess a top u.s general just said

01:08:47.980 that the u.s might not be in a position or willing to help if israel goes into a full-blown war with

01:08:54.060 hezbollah well how do you interpret that do you believe that the united states thinks that it would be

01:09:03.340 politically unwise and maybe security wise we would get more terrorism if we helped

01:09:10.700 do you think they're trying to stop israel from going alone

01:09:15.340 or do you think they're just playing good cop because israel is playing bad cop and that works

01:09:20.380 for both of us i don't know i don't know it looks a little bit like bad cop but let me tell you what

01:09:28.060 what i'm most concerned about the thing i worry about the most is that the united states is not

01:09:34.380 ready to fight any kind of a war whether it's russia ukraine or even hezbollah i'm not sure we

01:09:44.220 have the resources that we would like the world to believe we have

01:09:48.620 i've got a feeling that all of the militaries of the world are way weaker than they think

01:09:52.780 you know maybe in some way stronger but but uh i've got a feeling our military has a dei problem

01:10:00.540 that's just massive and that the capability of our military is so low and we've given so many of

01:10:07.420 our weapons to ukraine we might think that all it would take is a hezbollah conflict and we just have

01:10:14.460 nothing left now obviously it only makes a difference if some critical things get used up

01:10:20.700 you know we still have stuff but they're you know not everything is critical but could we be at a

01:10:27.020 point already of military failure where where a hezbollah conflict would just take everything we got

01:10:35.180 and then and then we would look like a paper tiger that's what i worry about

01:10:41.900 anyway uh in a related comment uh jenk uh uigur he said uh this he said we had this

01:10:50.620 giant investigation into whether russia was affecting our elections but there's no investigation

01:10:55.660 of how israel is brazenly controlling our politicians through aipac that's their lobbying group

01:11:02.780 actually it's a lobbying group of americans who are pro-israel uh american media is a joke

01:11:09.260 this hypocrisy is so startling yet never mentioned in the press um

01:11:14.140 um first of all i love jenk because while i i disagree with him more than i agree i kind of love

01:11:24.700 you know the the things he brings up you know he just looks at things through maybe a little

01:11:29.100 different window sometimes than other people so i love what he does while disagreeing with most of

01:11:35.340 his opinions if that's okay i mean i i think he's just adding something i feel like he's additive even when

01:11:41.900 i disagree with him so and i know you disagree with that but here's my pushback on that

01:11:50.380 the uh the russia collusion thing was something we didn't know in other words it had to be investigated

01:12:00.220 because we didn't know it was true that's the opposite of what's happening with aipac in israel

01:12:05.420 with aipac it's 100 legal and it's 100 transparent and it's a top headline nobody's hiding anything

01:12:16.540 it's a bunch of people who care about america and also israel who are quite effectively

01:12:24.700 controlling i'm going to say controlling i think that's fair to say the american policy about israel

01:12:31.900 now i don't like that yeah let me say as clearly as possible i don't like that but there are a lot of

01:12:38.940 things i don't like that come to me through a a credible system in other words america has laws

01:12:49.900 you know if we want to change our laws we can i mean it's not impossible and everything's above board

01:12:56.460 it's all legal we all know it we can watch it in real time and we see the control

01:13:04.060 i i just can't get as mad about something that's legal and transparent as i can about something that

01:13:10.220 was literally a plot the russia collusion thing that's literally a plot different yeah you could

01:13:17.100 hate both of them but i just say they shouldn't be analyzed as similars they're not similars

01:13:22.860 all right that ladies and gentlemen completes my amazing tour of the news today um as i said if all

01:13:32.540 goes well i'm waiting for a confirmation but i'm hoping to talk to michael ian black uh well-known

01:13:40.300 author actor comedian podcaster because he's got some different opinions on things

01:13:47.180 and uh it'll be a live stream if we connect i'm just waiting for a confirmation today it will be at

01:13:53.900 2 p.m eastern time it'll be recorded as well so you can catch it anytime you want but it'll be live and

01:13:59.900 we're going to talk about the mechanism of how you know something's real given that our news is not

01:14:06.460 terribly reliable and rather than arguing about you know trump bad trump good we'll talk about how you know

01:14:13.660 what's true if that works out it could be could be really interesting that's why i'm doing it all

01:14:19.820 right so it'll be broadcast on the the same platforms so if you're watching me now it's the same way you'll

01:14:28.140 be watching me if if this comes together all right um thanks for that i'm gonna say bye now to uh

01:14:43.660 privately here and thanks for being part of this experience see you tomorrow
