Real Coffee with Scott Adams - Episode 2755 CWSA 02⧸19⧸25

00:00:00.000 good morning everybody and welcome to the highlight of human civilization it's called

00:00:14.320 coffee with scott adams and you've never had a better time but if you'd like to take this

00:00:19.120 experience up to levels that nobody can even understand with their tiny shiny human brains

00:00:25.360 all you need for that is a cup of mug or a glass a tank of chelsea style in the canteen

00:00:29.120 jug of glass or vessel of any kind fill it with your favorite liquid i like coffee

00:00:34.000 and join me now for the unparalleled pleasure the dopamine hit of the day

00:00:38.080 the thing that makes everything better it's called the simultaneous hip go

00:00:49.120 exceptional excelsior you know who says that excelsior

00:00:55.440 stan lee used to say that you know i don't know about you this is kind of weird just start off

00:01:02.480 with something weird but ever since trump stole my democracy everything seems exactly the same

00:01:12.320 i'm trying to figure out what's going on because i know my democracy is gone but i wake up and

00:01:18.560 everything looks a lot like it used to look what am i supposed to be experiencing should i be losing

00:01:28.320 my right to vote could it be some bodily autonomy i lost i don't remember losing any well it's quite the

00:01:38.240 tragedy having no democracy but so far i'm struggling through i hope the rest of you are making it

00:01:43.760 up are you guys all are you all surviving your complete lack of democracy

00:01:53.600 oh man let's talk about some news

00:01:58.160 uh let's call this backwards science backwards science according to medical express news

00:02:10.080 and a study at the university of sheffield sean bardon is writing there's this video game

00:02:15.760 called counter-strike i've never heard of it but apparently it's a very popular video game

00:02:21.040 it's a first person shooter kind of a game yeah what they found was

00:02:27.200 the scientists found at the university school of psychology

00:02:31.360 uh that the experienced and highly skilled players of that game uh are faster at decision making and

00:02:39.520 executing a response so they speculate that maybe if you got people to play more video games

00:02:47.520 they would also become uh faster decision makers and faster executing response

00:02:53.840 does that sound right not to me to me that sounds like backwards science backwards science

00:03:05.440 well let me put it this way when i was 12 years old uh i tried playing football you know because

00:03:13.680 everybody plays every sport when you're your boy and i very quickly realized that football would not be my

00:03:21.120 strength that no matter how much i practiced the football i was never really going to be a great

00:03:28.240 football player didn't really have the body or the brain for it luckily so i didn't get any brain damage

00:03:34.960 but at also about 12 years old i played tennis for the first time with uh i think with my mother

00:03:42.080 with a couple of rackets that we bought at sears that were already strung

00:03:45.680 back back before i knew that stringing the racket right made a difference and the moment i started

00:03:53.120 hitting a tennis ball i said to myself huh i don't know might be in my imagination but it seems like i

00:04:00.800 could be kind of good at this because my hand-eye coordination was good and and so for the rest of

00:04:09.760 my entire life until recently i was a tennis player and sure enough i was you know for somebody who

00:04:17.200 just plays on weekends and you know is a casual player i i got to a pretty high level for a casual

00:04:23.120 player and so here's what i discovered people do more of what they like and what they're good at

00:04:32.480 and the thing that makes you like something is being extra good at it nobody likes to lose if you sat me

00:04:38.560 down in front of this shooter game and i knew it in five minutes that i would never really be good at

00:04:45.680 it because i didn't have fast reactions i wouldn't play again it would bore me i'd be like oh well lost

00:04:53.520 again lost again but if i sat down and right away i said oh i feel like i can be good at this then i would

00:05:01.360 play it a lot until i found out i wasn't good at it perhaps so i think the science is backwards here i

00:05:08.080 think the people who are who just naturally have fast decision making and execution are drawn to

00:05:13.520 video games what do you think which way do you think it works i will use my telepathy to hear your

00:05:20.160 response uh-huh uh-huh yeah you're right

00:05:25.360 well yesterday i did a little post it was based on an encounter i had with uh an individual who saw

00:05:32.000 me walking by and flagged me down and want to talk about politics i may have mentioned this to some of

00:05:36.960 you and here's the post i wrote after that encounter now the reason i'm reading it to you is that in one

00:05:45.840 day it has garnered 24 million views it's going up something like a million views an hour now for

00:05:54.160 reference a typical post of mine might get 70 000 views 24 million doesn't happen unless you know

00:06:03.920 elon musk reposts it which he didn't so i couldn't find any big accounts to repost it it looks like this

00:06:11.440 just has some kind of a nerve with people that they all understood it and that's the point i'm going to

00:06:15.840 go for so here's what i posted yesterday they got 24 million views so far i said i just met someone

00:06:24.720 um i said today i learned that being a democrat requires talking over anyone who knows what is

00:06:30.880 real i just met someone who is sure hunter's laptop is fake trump was never shot in the ear and there is

00:06:39.280 no evidence hunter was running a criminal operation i didn't make a dent now why would 24 million people

00:06:49.440 agree with that because you think well that's just that one person right there's just one person who

00:06:55.520 talked over me no it's because every one of you had the same experience multiple times as soon as you

00:07:02.720 start a conversation about trump you get really angry loud yelling over whatever you're saying

00:07:10.080 so here's an example uh there's no way he got shot in the air and i'd say well actually i know somebody

00:07:18.960 personally who saw him soon after the event and he actually took the bandage off and showed the hole in

00:07:25.440 his ear and he said no it didn't happen i go no what i'm saying is somebody i know very well personally

00:07:34.160 personally told me that trump showed him his ear and that there was a hole in it ah but where'd all

00:07:42.960 the bullets go if if he had if there were really bullets where'd all the other bullets go and i said

00:07:48.800 well one of them went into the body of a guy who died ah rah and then changed the topic

00:07:58.720 but not once did he think oh maybe i got that wrong so yeah and he thought the hunter laptop was

00:08:05.440 definitely fake oh my god of course that was fake and he thought that uh there was no evidence hunter was

00:08:12.640 running a criminal operation and i said you know there's no other reason to have 20 shell companies

00:08:20.080 that don't have any physical location and no form of business and yet he's like yeah but there's no

00:08:26.800 evidence no evidence i said but you know that they've tracked the actual payments through bank accounts

00:08:33.520 all the way into joe biden's pocket right bah bah bah talk over talk over so it was just impossible

00:08:42.640 it was literally impossible to get through now my main point is not that there's one person who had

00:08:47.920 a you know who had this point of view or this this approach my point is have you ever noticed

00:08:55.920 if you've been around addicts or especially alcoholics that there's something they have in common

00:09:02.480 you ever notice that and people who are on certain kind of medications have you noticed that they can

00:09:08.480 they can form a common kind of personality the the commonality of this the fact that so many people

00:09:16.480 uh are having a very specific weird uh character situation i i don't know what i wouldn't call it

00:09:24.720 character it's more like behavioral so that people are having this very specific behavioral change

00:09:31.920 that they can't listen and they have to talk over you really loudly that is an indication of brainwashing

00:09:39.760 the the way you know that there's an external force that's operating on a bunch of people in the same

00:09:44.960 way is that they have this very specific kind of reaction to it that's a real big tell and so in the

00:09:51.760 same way that um you've probably heard the is said that all addicts lie you've ever heard that

00:09:57.440 if you haven't heard it you could be really happy i told you because sooner or later you're going to

00:10:04.080 run into an addict who lies and even the addicts will tell you even the addicts will tell you yeah

00:10:09.760 you know if we have to we're gonna lie so that's a very specific behavioral thing right and it's

00:10:16.640 because there's this very specific force that is affecting the same people in the same way so yes it

00:10:22.640 is brainwashing there's absolutely no doubt about it in my opinion there's no doubt about it it's

00:10:27.840 a brainwashing effect meanwhile eric nolan writing for a side post says there's a new study on despair

00:10:37.120 and how it affects voter turnout you'll be very surprised to hear that people who are suicidal and

00:10:44.640 in despair are less likely to vote huh well surprising you know what they could have done to

00:10:52.400 save some time and money they could have just asked me scott do people who are experiencing despair

00:11:01.760 are they motivated to do really anything and i would say no despair really does not motivate you

00:11:10.960 doesn't motivate you to vote doesn't motivate you to get a promotion doesn't motivate you to work harder

00:11:16.960 doesn't motivate you to get married despair doesn't motivate you to do anything just ask me next

00:11:22.240 time i could do this save you a lot of time and money well there's a breakthrough battery circuit

00:11:30.240 design for tiny little uh drones according to interesting engineering now the reason i like to mention

00:11:37.360 all the battery stuff for drones is because it lets you predict the future if you know what's happening

00:11:44.080 with batteries in all kinds of ways that will tell you absolutely what the next 20 or 30 years look

00:11:51.280 like and if you wondered will there ever be tiny little drones that are the size of a fingernail

00:11:58.000 and the answer is now there will that this this specific breakthrough is for tiny drones micro drones

00:12:05.440 and researchers at uh university of california san diego and cea letty whatever that is they've got a

00:12:15.040 novel circuit design that makes the power last a lot longer for a micro drone a lot longer so it's a big

00:12:22.720 it's a big deal one of the examples they gave is if a building crumbles and they want to find survivors

00:12:29.440 there might not be enough room for a regular drone to be flying through and but the micro drones could 0.75

00:12:38.400 just sort of fill all the spaces and look for survivors and sense things now that's the good news

00:12:44.320 the bad news is somebody can send a micro drone right into your house that that thing could be flying

00:12:51.840 around in your house all you know for an hour and you wouldn't even probably hear it because it's a micro

00:12:57.120 drone so the privacy implications are pretty extreme pretty extreme

00:13:07.440 robbie starbuck is writing that so there's there's a program in the united states called the snap

00:13:13.200 program it's for providing money for food groceries for people who need a little extra help and robbie

00:13:21.040 starbuck is pointing out that the snap program spends 115 billion dollars a year

00:13:27.360 but about 10 of it goes to soda so people can buy what they want i guess within within limits it's

00:13:34.400 got to be food or drink but a lot of people are buying coca-cola and pepsi so big soda is getting

00:13:40.960 nearly 11.5 billion dollars a year just from the government's program on what to you know helping

00:13:49.520 people buy food and beverages now um so i think they're looking to you know i think there might

00:13:58.480 be some effort to scale that back so you can't buy food that's bad for you but here's the problem

00:14:06.160 on paper this was always going to go that way because soda is addictive so if you add the addictive

00:14:14.000 nature of soda and i know this because i was very addicted to diet coke for you know decades it took

00:14:19.200 me a long time to get off it if you have an addictive substance in a grocery store and you

00:14:25.360 give people free money that they can use in the way they want in the grocery store they're gonna buy

00:14:30.400 the addictive substance there's no way around that so if you didn't prevent that from the start

00:14:35.680 who who couldn't see that coming like who in the world couldn't now on the other hand you don't

00:14:41.600 want to be a the nanny state and tell people what they can and cannot have but i would think that the

00:14:46.720 exception would be what they can have with my money if they're spending their own money do whatever you

00:14:54.560 want get the soda but if you're spending my money well maybe i don't want you to have the soda

00:15:00.480 maybe i think you should get a potato anyway ontario the wait is over the gold standard of

00:16:08.640 going to order all the biden era attorneys u.s attorneys to be fired because he's got he says we

00:16:14.400 must clean house immediately fox news is reporting uh and he says the justice department has been

00:16:20.960 weaponized and politicized against him you know given the degree of obvious lawfare that we saw

00:16:28.800 i'm a hundred percent in favor of this in a more functional world where you could depend on attorneys

00:16:35.600 to just do the job of attorneys and not be political i would be totally against it but the

00:16:41.840 attorneys not all of them of course but enough of the attorneys have shown that

00:16:45.680 they're not really playing for anything but a team they have to go and if the best you can do is

00:16:53.760 replace them with your own cronies who will then of course be fired in three and a half years four

00:16:59.360 years uh it's the best you can do so yeah i'm in favor of that well meanwhile let's talk about trump's

00:17:07.600 negotiating skills this is my favorite topic the reason i like it is that it reminds me how many

00:17:15.040 people don't know how to negotiate um i did negotiating for a job back in my corporate days

00:17:21.760 it was my job to negotiate contracts and of course i studied hypnosis and persuasion and stuff so i have

00:17:28.480 a unique insight into it but so it's fun to watch trump work so right now there's a team of

00:17:36.800 i guess americans talking to a team of russians about what to do about ukraine now what do you

00:17:43.200 think is going to come out of that let me tell you what's going to come out of it absolutely nothing

00:17:49.120 absolutely nothing so is that bad news is it bad news that this team of people are probably going to

00:17:55.040 work for who knows how long yeah they're in saudi arabia now and nothing will get done so that's all bad

00:18:03.200 right nope nope if you understand negotiating there's there's a thing that's happening i call

00:18:12.080 it softening up the room once you get uh russia and most of the united states and europe and everybody

00:18:19.520 else to think that there's no way to get a deal when it's absolutely impossible that's when trump comes in

00:18:27.280 because trump's the only one who could get both sides to give something up nobody else could do

00:18:33.280 that the the people who are the underlings have orders from whoever sent them don't give up anything

00:18:40.640 of course you think putin told his team all right if you have to give this up no he didn't he said don't

00:18:48.640 give anything up and what did trump tell his team okay if you have to you know you can back off on it no

00:18:54.960 he didn't say that he said you can't give him anything you tell him what you want and that's

00:18:59.760 it and then you see if he can get it now how in the world is that going to work underlings cannot

00:19:06.480 negotiate because the underlings can't make the tough decisions that's why they're the underlings

00:19:12.880 so what you're trying to do is exhaust each other you you want to reach the point of oh this is

00:19:20.160 actually impossible it looks like it's forever war oh god you know we really really wanted this to

00:19:25.760 end but it doesn't look like there's any path there's just no way we can get there and then

00:19:31.840 trump calls putin and trump and putin say all right here's the deal we're not going to get anywhere

00:19:39.280 unless we both give up a little something here's what i need you to give up maybe he says what he needs

00:19:46.320 you to give up and then they make a deal but you have to exhaust everybody and make it look impossible

00:19:53.200 before the the real people come in and make a deal now what the negotiators could do

00:19:59.440 is and maybe this is useful they could find out maybe what's completely off the table

00:20:05.280 and maybe they can't even find that out but they might they might at least raise some new ideas

00:20:11.280 maybe maybe something come up that nobody said before so trump and putin will both be a little

00:20:17.920 bit better informed about what looks practical and possible by the time they talk but nothing's

00:20:24.080 going to happen nothing's going to happen until the two of them talk that's the only negotiating

00:20:29.200 everything else is theater and exhaustion and and what i call softening the room so softening the room

00:20:38.240 is a negotiating tactic um this i used to write about this when when i was in the corporate world

00:20:44.960 going to a meeting and everybody's got an idea about what it is we should do and the ideas are not

00:20:50.160 that good and they argue and they argue and they argue if i had a better idea in my own opinion i'd wait

00:20:56.400 until the last 10 minutes that the that we have the room scheduled for and then after everybody's so

00:21:02.320 frustrated that they can't get anything done that's when i drop my idea go you know you could do this

00:21:09.280 and everybody's so exhausted and they don't want to talk about it anymore they just want to be done

00:21:14.400 in 10 minutes they've got some other meeting to go to and everybody will look at me and say well that

00:21:20.320 might work the number of times i did that the last 10 minute strategy it's called softening the room

00:21:27.520 i just wait till the room and soften up and then i give them the solution trump's gonna do that um

00:21:35.280 so the top dc prosecutor this is reported in the hill the top dc prosecutor is resigning

00:21:42.080 as uh at the epa oh because the epa not at the api because the epa is seeking a criminal probe

00:21:49.520 of biden's climate funding so what this is about 20 billion dollars went out the door to several

00:21:57.360 climate related entities just as the biden administration was ending now the accusation

00:22:06.960 is that they were really just trying to park it with maybe their cronies or they were just trying

00:22:11.920 to make sure that trump didn't have it available to him or or they just really like climate change and

00:22:18.000 wanted to make sure it was fully funded and it was hard to get back that money now i guess uh lee

00:22:23.840 zeldin is trying to get it back anyway but so the top dc prosecutor resigned rather than opening some

00:22:31.200 kind of a criminal investigation of how that 20 billion got transferred and well it looks like a hasty

00:22:37.760 and maybe sketchy way but i've got this question what is the crime i get that it's sketchy and i get

00:22:47.840 that it's suboptimal and i get that it's sort of a political weasel thing to do but was there a crime

00:22:57.200 and if i were a top prosecutor and somebody said go investigate this crime and i said what crime

00:23:04.480 and they said well there's no crime but i think if you look around you might find one

00:23:07.600 i don't know i might resign i might resign so i assume that most of these things are purely political

00:23:16.800 and has nothing to do with principle i mean it's it's kind of hard to imagine anybody's operating

00:23:21.840 a principle at this point but i would like to see a little more indication of a crime before i see

00:23:29.440 the investigation now i assume in the real world sometimes there are investigations under the

00:23:37.280 assumption that there's probably a crime but i don't know where that standard starts and ends but

00:23:44.400 i'm a little worried i don't want uh i don't want the team that i'm backing to be doing unrestricted law

00:23:51.840 fair now even if it's you know getting revenge nope not good enough so this might be totally appropriate

00:23:59.520 and i'm definitely concerned about this 20 billion i would definitely like it to be clawed back i

00:24:04.960 definitely think it looks sketchy but is there a crime i'm gonna need to hear there was a crime for

00:24:10.960 me to be in favor of this uh department of homeland security helicopters have been getting struck by

00:24:19.840 lasers uh near the mexican border so presumably that's the cartel fox news michael lee is reporting

00:24:26.720 on this and i guess i've been targeted by lasers about six times now lasers meaning not a laser weapon

00:24:33.840 but like a laser pointer apparently if you point that at a pilot it can blind them

00:24:39.520 so uh even though it might not do it if you were closer to it there's something about the distance

00:24:45.440 i guess that that could make it blind the pilot so it's very very dangerous and it's an attack

00:24:54.240 so even though it's not the kind of laser that slices the plane in half or the helicopter in this case

00:25:00.640 it's deadly it's potentially deadly and the question i wonder is uh i wonder if it would be

00:25:07.200 legal to respond with deadly force now i think this helicopter probably wasn't armed but if it were a

00:25:14.800 military helicopter and it's near the border but it's on our side and somebody lasers it could you not

00:25:25.120 treat that as a military attack and just light them up and just take out because they know where it comes

00:25:31.280 from i mean they can literally see the the laser origin part i'd be in favor of military action so

00:25:40.960 to me that would seem entirely justified i mean i don't care if it's a teenager who thinks it's funny

00:25:46.480 if you're trying to take down an aircraft and it's our aircraft and it's it's armed yes it can it can

00:25:52.960 kill you that that seems entirely fair to me so we'll see where that goes

00:26:13.600 think so i was asking the other day about that the discrepancies in the social security database

00:26:22.320 that doge found and i think a lot of people were interpreting it as that they found corruption

00:26:31.040 because there was indication that there were a lot of uh death fields that were set to false or

00:26:37.120 something as if they never died and it would give you the indication that there were social security

00:26:42.800 numbers that can be used for illegal devious corrupt purposes of people who were actually dead for a long

00:26:50.480 time now when i asked for a clarification on that uh i got a good clarification from data republican

00:26:58.960 on x now that's an account you should follow um what i always tell you you should follow the explainers

00:27:06.000 they're the valuable ones you know the the mike bends glenn greenwald the and i'm gonna add data

00:27:12.160 republican it's one word data republican if you're on x uh she's just a great analyst so she does with data

00:27:21.680 just a tremendous job and so she gave this answer which uh elon said exactly so we know that musk agrees

00:27:31.200 with this exact interpretation now how valuable is that that's really valuable that i've got this question

00:27:39.760 data republican gives me this good answer that i'm gonna read to you and then elon says yes that's

00:27:44.880 exactly right like how in the world and then and then the rest of you get to read it so you get the

00:27:51.680 benefit from that interaction the the fact that musk personally can tell you that something is on point

00:27:59.440 or not that's just it's mind-blowing it's just absolutely mind-blowing that this is even possible

00:28:04.720 anyway data republican answered my question about the social security database and said i believe

00:28:11.600 the most accurate interpretation is that the social security administration lacks a reliable and

00:28:17.440 consistent source of truth making its records inherently flawed without an authoritative and

00:28:24.000 accurate data set internal audits and reported figures on benefit recipients cannot be fully trusted

00:28:31.280 so the problem is not that they found a specific dollar amount of crime the problem is you wouldn't

00:28:39.040 know if there was crime there or not that's a really big problem so yeah needs to be solved but you can't

00:28:45.600 put a dollar amount on it so that's that's what i wondered i wondered how you could put a dollar amount on it

00:28:50.240 meanwhile um meta created as you know the metaverse and we saw the first ad for it that uh showed what

00:29:02.640 the metaverse it's a virtual reality kind of world that uh zuckerberg is trying to make big so he's been

00:29:09.440 working this for a number of years he's got a 60 billion dollars into it so far and uh they showed and

00:29:15.920 they've been working for since 2020 so 60 billion dollars like when i think it might be the major

00:29:23.840 possibly the major thing that meta is working on and they released their first advertisement and it was

00:29:31.840 so pathetic that they had to pull the advertisement it was just on instagram and it showed the little

00:29:40.320 virtual reality world you know as if you were looking at it if you were in the virtual reality and 0.75

00:29:46.400 the characters look like cartoons with movements that look like it had not been well planned so as

00:29:55.200 people sitting in a chair who just literally looked like cartoons and and their arms would be floating like

00:30:00.720 this why now here's the problem that might be it might be an example of the very height of what virtual

00:30:13.120 reality can do because you know there are limits on hardware there's limits on processors there's limits

00:30:18.400 on memory if you take into consideration all the physical computing limits trying to create a full

00:30:26.720 existing virtual world with you know lots of characters and stuff it might be really well not might be it's

00:30:33.120 really hard to do so it might have been just the best that can be done with current technology however

00:30:41.840 it has the very bad luck of coming at the same time that ai can produce photo realistic images on demand

00:30:50.400 so my brain just like almost every one of you says wait a minute there's a virtual reality product that

00:30:59.120 they they plunked 60 billion dollars into it one of the top technology companies in the entire world

00:31:05.920 and it doesn't look like it's photo realistic your brain just can't accept that so even if it might

00:31:12.480 be the very best you could do within that domain and it's not it's not equivalent to ai giving you a

00:31:17.520 three second clip of something photorealistic those are entirely different levels of complexity

00:31:24.400 uh but my brain my brain can't accept a cartoony weird floating person once i've seen what ai can do

00:31:33.680 now i don't know if ai can ever you know fix what's happening with virtual reality i think the the

00:31:41.440 challenges are completely different there but that is really bad luck um but here's the fun part so

00:31:51.920 looking at these characters from the outside i can tell that they just look like cartoons but what do

00:32:00.320 the characters if the characters were let's say autonomous what would they think of each other would they

00:32:07.760 think oh there's a low resolution character that must be created by a computer or would it say there's

00:32:15.760 a high resolution character that looks normal just like i am well the answer is it depends how you code

00:32:24.000 it so it might be one line of code to say each character imagines that everything they see is high

00:32:31.040 fidelity that's it the character just has to think it's seeing high fidelity you just program it so it

00:32:39.200 does it doesn't have to see high fidelity it only has to think it does and then it will argue to its death

00:32:46.800 that it can see detail and it would never know the difference so if we were a simulation

00:32:55.280 and we were also low fidelity is it possible that we wouldn't know it because we're programmed to think

00:33:02.640 it's high fidelity well let me take it to the next level everything in my room right now is high

00:33:10.880 fidelity as far as i know but i can't see it the only thing i know is high fidelity is maybe a few words

00:33:20.000 that i'm looking at in the comments as they go by everything else is sort of imagined high fidelity

00:33:26.880 you see what i mean i imagine it's high fidelity but i'm not even looking at it it's not registering

00:33:32.480 in any way in my brain but my brain is programmed to think that i sort of do see it it's so easy to

00:33:39.520 program a character to think it's high fidelity but the only high fidelity is what they're really

00:33:45.360 really focusing on in this narrow little cone because that's the only part your brain is dealing

00:33:50.240 with so it could be if we were a simulation the only high fidelity is this narrow cone of whatever

00:33:57.520 we're really focusing on at the moment and everything else is low fidelity we wouldn't know the difference

00:34:05.520 i know you love that simulation talk well elon musk said he's gonna talk to trump about the idea of

00:34:12.320 uh refunding at the rate of five thousand dollars a piece to taxpayers um some of the doge savings so

00:34:20.960 they saved they saved 55 billion so far and uh if they only gave a portion of that back to taxpayers

00:34:28.800 it'd be for somebody says five thousand dollars a piece i'm looking at an article in tech times by isaiah richard

00:34:35.440 but here's the obvious question that people in the comments were saying and i said immediately

00:34:46.400 i thought the point of doge was to reduce our deficit i didn't think it was creating a piggy bank

00:34:53.520 that could be doled down now i like the fact that people could get five thousand dollars i mean that would

00:34:59.920 make a really big difference to a lot of people it's a big deal but i feel like it might create a

00:35:06.560 precedent where everybody thinks that the doge savings are a new piggy bank i'm already worried

00:35:13.360 that congress looks at the doge savings as oh that's money we didn't have to spend before but he's

00:35:18.880 reduced our expenses by 100 billion so i guess i have another 100 billion to spend that's not how it's

00:35:25.520 supposed to work so here's the argument for it though the argument in favor of it is that the

00:35:34.400 voters are not really following the politics very carefully they know there's a doge and they may have

00:35:40.880 heard some good things about it and some bad things about it if you wanted them to be on board with doge

00:35:47.680 before it does the hard stuff like the pentagon budget the social security the you know health care

00:35:54.800 budgets you might want to bribe them i guess they bribe but it wouldn't be illegal it would be all

00:36:01.760 all transparent uh you might want to say hey doge is so cool here's five thousand dollars and then

00:36:08.240 suddenly your doge approval would go from i think it's over 50 percent but like it would hit 60 plus

00:36:16.480 almost immediately because people would say i don't know much about this but i just got a check for

00:36:20.640 five thousand dollars so keep going elon maybe i'll get another check so if you're looking at it

00:36:27.680 from a persuasion perspective to make it easier for doge to get the the final work done you know the the

00:36:34.800 big savings to sort of soften the room as it were this would be a way to do it now if elon is thinking of

00:36:42.960 it that way as a way just to make doge more successful in the long run get people on board

00:36:49.440 that makes sense that makes sense but i definitely wouldn't want this to be the beginning of hey we

00:36:55.520 created some free money that can be used in this way or that way claudia was leaving for her pickleball 0.83

00:37:01.280 tournament i've been visualizing my match all week she was so focused on visualizing that she didn't see 0.67

00:37:06.880 the column behind her car on her backhand side good thing claudia's with intact the insurer with 1.00

00:37:13.040 the largest network of auto service centers in the country everything was taken care of under one roof

00:37:18.000 and she was on her way in a rental car in no time i made it to my tournament and lost in the first round 1.00

00:37:23.920 but you got there on time intact insurance your auto service ace certain conditions apply

00:37:29.360 meanwhile the mexican government says that it seized 40 million dollars worth of meth before it crossed the

00:37:39.120 border and the daily caller news foundation is reporting this jason hopkins and there's a photo of

00:37:49.280 some mexican authority over six big blue barrels of something that presumably are some kind of drug

00:37:56.960 and the question i ask is this how do we know what's in those barrels is it possible that the mexican

00:38:06.160 government working with the cartels just says every month or so all right do you have those blue

00:38:11.840 barrels yeah we got six blue barrels can you put them in a different building and we'll photograph

00:38:18.080 our guys with heavy weaponry standing by them and we'll say we captured uh what's a good number i don't

00:38:24.240 know 20 30 million worth let's go 40 let's go 40 million worth all right everybody stand by these

00:38:31.600 barrels click click click click there we go doing a great job just up 40 million dollars worth of meth

00:38:38.160 from coming into the united states how would we know that they stopped anything that would be the easiest

00:38:47.440 thing in the world to fake right you wouldn't expect anybody to be i mean it would take the smallest

00:38:53.440 number of people to be involved in the fraud and they probably wouldn't talk

00:38:59.440 now i'm not saying it is fraud i'm just saying if it's indistinguishable from something that can

00:39:06.000 easily be faked why would you believe it so i'm going to put it in the category of things i just don't

00:39:12.080 believe it could be true it absolutely could be true not buying it not buying it at all it's a little too

00:39:20.080 on the nose hey mexico we're going to give you uh big tariffs if you don't stop a lot of drugs uh 0.99

00:39:29.360 look at these six barrels we just stopped and and uh a few weeks from now oh look it's another six

00:39:36.720 barrels well those look like the same barrels yeah they they often use the same kind of barrel material

00:39:42.880 they like they like to use the blue barrels oh but we found another one but is that the same six

00:39:50.480 barrels no it's not the same six barrels it's five barrels how easy would that be come on

00:40:01.600 meanwhile some good news pj media is reporting victoria taft that uh trump's losing some serious

00:40:09.600 weight um he was asked uh how much he lost and i think he said he was guessing 15 to 20 pounds he

00:40:18.800 does look lighter now he attributed to being busy and having no time to eat but i don't think that's

00:40:24.640 exactly the whole story uh there's some kind of source that victoria taft had i guess that says that

00:40:32.000 melania is sort of behind it and that she's been pushing him to eat more healthy food but here's the part i

00:40:37.760 just love uh allegedly now this is from a source anonymous source so put it in context uh the

00:40:45.360 melania has on occasion i don't know what on occasion means but on occasion been cooking family 0.97

00:40:50.800 dinners at trump tower for the president and their son baron i love that i love that so you do you ever

00:41:00.880 put yourself in trump's position and just just try to imagine what it's like he can have any

00:41:09.360 any luxury and he spends his time around luxury and you know everything basically he just has access

00:41:16.640 to everything but the one thing that somebody in his position would have trouble getting is a home

00:41:23.840 cooked meal with his son and his wife to me that's worth more than all the other stuff

00:41:30.000 so to me that just makes me happy if it's true i mean i assume it's true i would love to know that

00:41:36.720 melania enjoys cooking that she's good at it and that sometimes she just cooks for the two of them 1.00

00:41:42.640 that would be amazing that would be amazing yeah but there's more to it it's much bigger imagine if you

00:41:49.200 will that trump loses i don't know if he has more to lose but but let's say he becomes svelte like he just

00:41:57.120 looks really good on the golf course imagine seeing him on the golf course completely trimmed down

00:42:05.120 now put that in the context of maha make america healthy again and rfk jr and nicole shanahan

00:42:14.080 and all the push toward staying away from the bad foods and toward the good ones and how good that will be

00:42:19.760 for us imagine if trump made the move away from processed foods and then you could just watch

00:42:29.280 here's why this is a big deal

00:42:30.720 um during the kennedy administration jfk he was i guess he was one of the first politicians to not

00:42:42.400 wear a hat and it killed the entire hat industry because when jfk didn't wear a hat people thought

00:42:50.720 i don't have to wear a hat this hat's kind of a pain and pain in the neck so i won't wear a hat

00:42:55.360 it killed the entire industry so it's it's hard to uh you know it's hard to appreciate

00:43:03.200 the degree to which the role models make a difference and if trump found a way to you know

00:43:11.600 just sort of gently relax his weight down without using the now using the weight loss drugs and by the

00:43:18.560 way we wouldn't know if he used one or not but if he managed to do it through just eating right

00:43:23.200 that would be amazing for the country just the benefit of the country would be amazing but it'd

00:43:29.040 also be good for him so this is one of the the things that makes me happiest today

00:43:36.560 and then trump does this this is reported by jim hoft and the gateway pundit

00:43:42.080 so he's he signed an executive order to expand and reduce the cost of uh in vitro fertilization

00:43:49.280 so he wants to make fertility treatments more accessible for american families

00:43:53.360 now the executive order just says that he's putting together a group to study it and find a

00:43:58.160 way to make it less expensive it's super expensive so if you want to have a baby and and you're going to

00:44:04.080 need uh invert in vitro fertilization uh it could cost you up to 25 000 per cycle uh and it might not work

00:44:14.240 so you might have to do more than one cycle 25 000 a shot and health insurance covers some of it but

00:44:21.600 it's limited and only a quarter of employers offer it um and apparently 85 000 infants were born as a

00:44:32.800 result of ivf in 2021. now this is in the context of the natural birth population of the united states

00:44:41.760 dropping and so it's important it's important that we have ways to make as many babies as possible

00:44:47.440 in ways that you know are healthy and family supports them and stuff like that

00:44:53.200 but what i wondered was wasn't this one of the biggest things that the democrats worried about

00:44:59.360 that they used to lie and say that he doesn't like ivf or i think they said jd vance doesn't like it

00:45:05.600 or something it was all fake because he's always been in favor of it but i tried to think okay i'll

00:45:11.360 put myself in the shoes of a democrat how do they explain that one of the biggest things that they

00:45:19.600 were complaining about trump is he would take your bodily autonomy which would include ivf that you take

00:45:25.520 it away and not only is he not taking it away he is doing serious things to make it more available

00:45:32.000 and cheaper and cheaper and then i realized oh here's the natural attack line do you see it yet let's

00:45:42.080 see if you have it in the comments do you see the do you see the natural attack line where they're going

00:45:47.840 to get them it jumps out as soon as i tell you you're going to say oh how did i not see that

00:45:54.080 here it is trump's trying to make more white babies boom because i don't know this i don't have any

00:46:04.000 statistics but i'll bet you given that it costs 25 000 per cycle i'll bet you the high income people

00:46:12.480 are the people with good jobs and good insurance and a little extra cash a lot of extra cash are

00:46:18.320 probably the only ones that have used it so far which would suggest probably it's concentrated in

00:46:25.520 maybe white and asian american families because they're high income and how easy would it be for

00:46:32.800 joy reid to say well it looks like white supremacist trump has figured out a way to make more white babies

00:46:39.520 oh that is so coming when it should be oh i guess we lied about everything when we said he was going

00:46:48.240 to get rid of ivf that should be the story that msnbc and his critics lied about everything it was never

00:46:56.000 true and this is you know proof it was never true they're still gonna say you racist when i found out my

00:47:05.360 friend got a great deal on a wool coat from winners i started wondering is every fabulous item i see

00:47:11.920 from winners like that woman over there with the designer jeans are those from winners ooh are those 1.00

00:47:18.160 beautiful gold earrings did she pay full price or that leather tote or that cashmere sweater or those

00:47:23.520 knee-high boots that dress that jacket those shoes is anyone paying full price for anything stop

00:47:30.640 wondering start winning winners find fabulous for less in other news a law firm that uh apparently

00:47:40.960 handles uh elon musk's stuff um is putting together a draft for a uh legislative change in delaware

00:47:50.720 now of course it's just a law firm so they don't get to vote on it but they're proposing it through

00:47:56.400 probably some i assume some politicians are on board cnbc is reporting this uh laura kolodny and 0.99

00:48:04.800 so the law firm is trying to get a change in delaware that would possibly open the door for elon

00:48:12.640 musk to get that big uh was it 56 billion dollar pay package or whatever it was that he was denied because

00:48:20.640 the delaware judge said that that pay package agreement is invalid because elon musk had too

00:48:28.160 much control over the con over the company that uh gave it to him and since it was basically conflict

00:48:35.520 of interest uh the judge says we're throwing it out now i don't believe the company had any complaint

00:48:42.960 about it i think there was one stockholder who bought a few shares and did it just to take down uh elon

00:48:51.280 but his law firm is making a very creative uh attack and the attack is that delaware has become

00:49:01.680 sort of poison for corporations because of exactly this sort of thing you saw bill ackman moved his

00:49:07.440 company out of delaware that they just register in delaware it's they're not based in delaware but

00:49:13.040 uh they're they're saying that they can make delaware what it used to be a place you could trust

00:49:20.800 to register your corporation because now people don't trust it so he said they we can get back

00:49:26.320 to delaware having the advantage of being this great place to register your corporation

00:49:30.640 with just a few changes one of the changes would be that if you owned less than one-third

00:49:37.360 the stock of the company you would be presumed not to control it one-third now that's pretty reasonable

00:49:47.120 if you owned 51 obviously you do control it if you own 40 you kind of almost control it but 30 seems

00:49:55.920 fair that seems quite reasonable that if you're below 30 percent you uh you're you're not by definition

00:50:04.000 you're not controlling the company now you could argue whether you know some personalities could

00:50:08.880 still control the company with 30 but uh if that got adopted it would make other corporations feel a

00:50:15.040 little more comfortable having their corporation registered there but here's the best part of the

00:50:19.920 story the name of the law firm is richards leighton and finger richards leighton and finger

00:50:28.000 now when i see richard in this case it's the last name not a first name it always makes me think of 0.99

00:50:35.920 dick because you know dick is the nickname for richard so even though it's richards with an s i just see a 0.99

00:50:44.160 dick and then there's leighton first three letters are lay lay a ton i guess and that makes me think of 1.00

00:50:52.240 sex because lay you know and then the last last name is finger so it's really dick lay finger like 0.99

00:51:01.600 when i read it and i'm thinking come on of all the law firms in the world elon musk picked the one that 0.99

00:51:09.920 makes me think of dick lay and finger perfect it's just perfect 0.98

00:51:17.280 okay anyway we'll we'll keep an eye on that um judicial watch is asking for a probe of uh 0.99

00:51:28.080 the ex-general milly for what he did in planning january 6. this is being reported by paul benard

00:51:35.440 washington examiner um so let's call a judicial watch a legal watchdog that would be a good description

00:51:44.240 and they're trying to figure out if they can get uh records about what the exact conversations were

00:51:51.120 between uh mark milley and his top pentagon and other and other uh officials homeland security etc

00:51:58.400 now the the thinking is that uh you've probably heard people who know more than i know say general

00:52:06.800 milley general milley is the you know probably behind the whole uh january 6 operation you know

00:52:14.160 maybe he intentionally made security light so they could turn into what looked more like a an insurrection

00:52:21.680 or they could at least frame it that way now i don't know if any of those accusations are true

00:52:26.960 i'll just say that he's long been accused by members of the you know the right as being the

00:52:34.160 obvious culprit if in fact there's a culprit um but here's my larger comment i want you to just think

00:52:44.560 about this for a moment have you ever noticed how rarely the united states has a large-scale protest

00:52:52.160 unless it's funded and organized by shadowy forces

00:52:55.280 has it ever happened in my lifetime in my whole life have citizens of the united states ever

00:53:06.960 self-organized because they really cared about a thing no matter what that thing was

00:53:14.640 black lives matter that was not organic we know that now that was just funded and organized antifa

00:53:21.280 went away as soon as biden became president which is a little sketchy right we've seen all the color

00:53:28.560 revolutions in other countries where all the protests are literally organized by shadowy external forces

00:53:37.760 and so but let me ask this question to the best of your knowledge has there ever been a self-organized

00:53:46.320 large-scale protest about anything in the united states during your lifetime vietnam war maybe maybe

00:53:54.800 not probably organized by shadowy forces but i don't know but let's just say in the last 20 years

00:54:01.920 in the last 20 years do you think there's ever been a large-scale organic protests do you think uh

00:54:10.240 uh that uh that well what was the name of the wall street one that kind of went away then there was a tea

00:54:17.920 party then that kind of went away i've got a feeling that americans just can't organize spontaneously if

00:54:27.520 it doesn't if it's not funded by people who know how to make things happen i don't think it happens take for

00:54:33.920 example the government spending us into certain doom you know with our with our deficit and then

00:54:43.120 every year they'll just sign some continuing resolution which says well we'll just add to

00:54:47.680 the deficit because we don't want to make decisions don't you think that watching your elected representatives

00:54:55.600 send you into certain doom not maybe certain doom you don't think that that would be enough to organize

00:55:03.920 uh a million people on the street of course it would if we cared about topics

00:55:12.880 if people were simply outraged by bad performance of people or policies they don't like you would see

00:55:21.600 gigantic protests every week or two because there's plenty of stuff to protest all kinds of stuff

00:55:28.160 what about doge what about all the um you know all the people who think doge is a bad idea where's the protest

00:55:37.600 nobody's paid for one yet there might be one but it will be funded and organized by shadowy people

00:55:44.560 so i'm gonna i'm gonna just put down this marker don't know if it's completely true

00:55:50.480 but i don't believe there's any evidence that americans ever organize in large scale like january 6

00:55:58.160 unless there's somebody shadowy behind it i just don't think it ever happens

00:56:04.240 i'd love to be proven wrong

00:56:07.920 well i wouldn't love it but it'd be interesting

00:56:12.160 i i try to think i i've told you this before but you know when i built my house i built a home

00:56:17.520 theater it's very small but you know it's like um 10 seats 10 seats in a little home theater and i

00:56:24.480 thought oh how great this will be to invite friends over to watch a movie i could never get

00:56:29.760 two people who wanted to watch the same movie at the same time and then i'm watching black lives matter

00:56:34.720 and antifa get like you know thousands and thousands of people in the street and i'm saying to myself

00:56:39.120 in what country can you do that but where can you get all those people to do that thing

00:56:46.080 if i can't get two people even watch a movie at the same time so no i don't think that americans organize

00:56:51.200 not without shadowy forces behind them i don't think the tea party was organic do you i don't believe

00:57:01.040 in it at all and again i don't have evidence that it wasn't organic but i doubt it seems very unlikely

00:57:10.000 all right um that's all i got for now i'm gonna say hi to the locals people privately um

00:57:23.920 for the rest of you thanks for joining the truckers is the only one in canada well the truckers

00:57:31.520 um were also not american yeah yeah that's a good one the the truckers as far as i know did not have any

00:57:40.000 shadowy uh influence as far as i know all right but they also didn't they were they were in their

00:57:49.520 trucks uh so it makes me wonder how many there were you know but there's a difference between

00:57:58.000 driving your truck somewhere and being on the street just seems different all right um continue

00:58:06.080 challenging me on that no no uh organic protests in the united states canada might be different

00:58:15.680 all right everybody i'll see you tomorrow same time same place if you're on rumble or

00:58:19.680 youtube or x and locals coming at you privately in 30 seconds
