Real Coffee with Scott Adams - Episode 3047 ChatWSA 12⧸19⧸25

00:00:00.160 well let's see what happens today coming to you from my hospital bed

00:00:06.720 good morning everybody stream on in here

00:00:12.560 i think you'll have breakfast coming in half an hour or so so we got a little bit of time to

00:00:17.520 catch up on the news you want to catch up on the news

00:00:22.320 well i think we should do the simultaneous sip

00:00:32.720 there might not be coffee involved but i do have the the simultaneous sip this morning

00:00:41.920 yeah i think i got the cloth mastered

00:00:44.560 well we'll see good morning marcella

00:00:55.840 eric rami

00:01:00.480 well you're all very fast coffee with scott adams was kind of funny you have to admit that was kind of

00:01:06.640 funny yeah greg biffle i never heard of greg biffle is that somebody you knew did you all had you all

00:01:17.840 heard the name greg biffle before

00:01:24.400 that's uh you gotta be pretty bad to go down in your plane and know you got your whole family with you

00:01:30.320 that's gotta be about the worst way to go good morning

00:01:37.280 come on in here

00:01:41.040 all right well

00:01:44.320 are you ready

00:01:47.360 it won't be coffee in my case because i don't have breakfast yet but

00:01:50.960 well thank you yep he was a hero used his helicopter to help flood victims that is correct

00:02:06.080 michael is here finally

00:02:13.280 similar family helicopter i don't know

00:02:20.960 all right you ready

00:02:26.800 if you'd like to enjoy the simultaneous set all you need is get ready a cup or mugger a glass of

00:02:37.120 tanker chalice or stein a canteen jug or flask a vessel of any kind fill it with your favorite liquid

00:02:44.000 i like coffee but i'm happy water and join me now for the unparalleled pleasure of the dopamine here

00:02:49.600 the day the thing that makes everything better it's called simultaneous sip it happens now

00:03:01.920 that's pretty good sip that was a good sip

00:03:07.920 well in theory

00:03:08.960 today will be my last day in the hospital

00:03:14.960 so they might watch me for one more day because the uh the cough was something they hadn't mastered

00:03:21.680 but on the other hand on the other hand since i seem to have that mastered maybe maybe tonight

00:03:30.800 i don't know you want to check out the news

00:03:38.720 let's check out the news so the epstein files are going to be released today

00:03:45.600 do you believe that that will turn up any uh anything new or interesting

00:03:52.080 you did miss a sponge bath i think that was at midnight

00:04:02.560 success lessons

00:04:06.320 good your success lessons went great good to hear all right i'm going to predict

00:04:13.520 that the epstein uh story might be uh probably underwhelming what do you think

00:04:26.080 probably underwhelming so thomas massey's been fighting hard

00:04:31.360 to uh turn that into a law so i guess there's a law

00:04:34.640 a law now to release all the epstein files the epstein files transparency act is now the law

00:04:45.360 so but something i don't know it just doesn't feel like we're gonna learn anything

00:04:51.120 we might might be the uh might be the biggest story in the whole world but we'll see

00:04:59.360 so did anybody watch the video from the uh turning point usa speeches

00:05:11.040 i don't know what to think about all this so so they're now like what what one two three four five

00:05:17.280 six so there are about six conservative stars who have some kind of charlie kirk turning point usa

00:05:27.760 uh kind of dust up and some of it's about israel and some of it's about candace and some of it's about charlie kirk

00:05:38.640 and some of it's about the turning point usa staff yeah so we got so the players uh i've been kind of

00:05:49.040 ignoring this because i don't know it's not really world news but so ben shapiro

00:05:57.760 i guess he's going hard at the people who are not going hard at candace and tucker so are there sides

00:06:08.960 is tucker on the side or is tucker on his own so let's see candace owens has some conspiracy theories 1.00

00:06:19.600 about who might have been involved in charlie kirk's death and i think as you know it involves everything

00:06:28.960 from israel to uh the staff to his wife to egypt or at least egyptian planes none of it really none of it

00:06:40.560 really uh lines up but i guess i guess ben shapiro's point is that if you're not going to speak out against

00:06:48.720 it you're not doing enough so i'm just watching this one are any of you taking sides with any of the

00:07:03.040 turning point usa stuff or are you just sort of watching it i feel like i feel like nobody is

00:07:12.720 covering themselves with glory but i'll be interested if anything comes of it so all right well let's let's

00:07:25.120 leave that story that that one's more about the individuals involved if anything uh oh tucker

00:07:33.840 isn't that interesting the story has two tuckers in it one is tucker carlson and the other is the

00:07:42.080 brigitte brigitte mccrone two tuckers no i'm just kidding brigitte mccrone is not a tucker

00:07:55.840 oh and then and then nick fuentes gets thrown in there too yeah

00:08:01.920 but anyway i feel like taking sides is a really bad strategy and i frankly don't have a side

00:08:11.120 you know i think they all have a they all have a right to their opinions no matter how wacky

00:08:17.840 or wrong or inappropriate i'm not sure i have a obligation to speak out against them

00:08:27.840 but uh but i you know i can say i don't i don't strongly agree with any of them

00:08:36.400 because i have my own opinions they have their opinions i have my opinions so i don't feel a need

00:08:42.160 to agree or disagree or decide who is a conspiracy theory or not

00:08:51.840 and turning point hunger games anyway so enough about that so yesterday's news i saw a bunch of

00:09:01.680 conservative people get worked up because trump signed a

00:09:05.200 uh said what is an executive order to reschedule weed but people took that it looked like to me it

00:09:16.800 looked like people misinterpreted it as um making weed legal at the federal level but that did not happen

00:09:24.480 uh it was just rescheduled from a from a one to a three which means they can use it for medical use

00:09:37.040 and i saw a bunch of people complaining about that and i thought to myself how can you complain about

00:09:43.360 medical use medical use i i totally understand why some people would be against weed being legalized

00:09:54.480 for casual use i mean there's an argument on both sides of that uh you know which side i'm on but medical

00:10:04.640 really it's one of the most medically useful substances in the world i think so i am in favor of rescheduling

00:10:15.120 it for medical use at the federal level that still keeps it illegal federally

00:10:22.000 so if parents want to use that as their argument for keeping their kids off it

00:10:30.720 that would be up to them

00:10:32.160 boarding for flight 246 to toronto is delayed 50 minutes

00:10:59.280 1-866-531-2600 or visit comics ontario.ca so is it true that the brown university shooter is connected

00:11:09.760 it's the same guy who shot the mit professor it appears that they have now proven there's some

00:11:19.440 connection between the two

00:11:23.520 so

00:11:26.960 that's surprising i bet against that i think my instincts have been

00:11:32.240 one blunted but i did not believe when it was first suggested that the mit professor killing and

00:11:41.040 the brown university professor killing were related but we still don't know why right

00:11:51.040 i don't think we know why and i usually don't cover the individual crime stuff

00:11:56.400 uh but uh this one might be might get more interesting i don't think it's an iradian plot

00:12:07.680 that's what we thought it might be all right here's a here's the best story of the day

00:12:13.200 how many of you have uh for the last several years had to defend trump when he called the uh georgia

00:12:22.960 was it the secretary of state or the governor i forget and he told him he want he wanted to see

00:12:29.280 if he could find votes do you remember that story so that was uh the 2020 election in which trump

00:12:41.040 narrowly lost so he called georgia and said hey you know you only need to find so many votes

00:12:49.040 and it would reverse the thing and was he not my brain isn't working too well

00:12:56.640 was trump impeached for that or nearly impeached for asking to find the votes

00:13:06.000 well guess what according to the federalists and others uh apparently they could have found the votes

00:13:15.920 because there were three hundred and three hundred and fifteen thousand early votes

00:13:21.280 in the 2020 election that were not certified they didn't have the proper signatures and they had not

00:13:28.800 certified that the i guess the tabulators were zero downed before they started so if you haven't

00:13:36.960 if you haven't certified that there were zero downed there's actually no way to know what the actual vote was

00:13:42.720 yes so so georgia kemp yes it was kemp uh so we can according to actual court case

00:13:54.720 the state attorney admits that they can't tell who voted

00:14:02.640 is that incredible so trump was right there's no record of the tabulators being set to zero

00:14:11.920 and they don't have the proper signatures in uh almost all of the sites now if you don't think

00:14:21.520 that's more than a technical problem uh apparently and the federal federalist talks about this i guess in

00:14:30.480 montana they had the same problem and they did in fact determine that the final vote count was was

00:14:38.320 wrong so this this problem of not having the tabulators cleared before you start with a new thing

00:14:48.560 if you don't clear them you don't know what the vote was

00:14:50.720 so i i cheekily cheekily i say uh i posted on x this morning that they found the votes

00:15:02.800 they found them they found the votes so i don't know if that would have been enough to change the election

00:15:10.960 but it does tell me that all of these uh you know all yeah all of these uh accusations might have been

00:15:22.640 a little bit closer than anybody thought

00:15:25.440 lost by seven million well but not if we're talking about the state or or uh yeah

00:15:37.920 so it was a rafsenberger not kemp okay so rafsenberger was the secretary of state for georgia

00:15:54.000 clubian

00:16:01.280 but of all things of all things

00:16:08.240 so the uh yeah the january sixers have been vindicated

00:16:14.400 trump always emphasizes signatures

00:16:20.080 yep

00:16:24.000 trump was right

00:16:29.040 so you know do you remember how many times i said

00:16:33.760 that everything in the country is broken except the elections

00:16:37.760 that the elections are pristine and i and i always said that um i always said it sarcastically

00:16:45.840 that we have been we as citizens

00:16:48.880 have been asked to believe that absolutely everything in our environment was corrupt

00:16:57.520 except this one thing well it turns out now of course the reason i said that is because i knew that

00:17:04.880 everything was corrupt and now we know now corrupt might imply also just incompetent but what we don't know

00:17:14.560 um what we don't know is who won the election so we do not have a system that can reliably tell us who won

00:17:28.000 incredible

00:17:28.560 so and there's an update on the snap fraud in minnesota so apparently the the person in charge of uh making sure that the snap money that's the food sent money got to the right people uh worked at home and had never had a job like this so of course it's being called the dei situation

00:17:42.320 i don't know if it's the dei situation i don't know if it's the dei situation but

00:18:00.960 you have to assume that if things go wrong

00:18:04.160 and it's a dei environment

00:18:06.960 somebody's gonna say it's dei

00:18:10.240 so apparently there was a hundred and seventy four percent surge in benefits

00:18:15.200 between 2020 and 2021

00:18:18.960 uh and the person in charge

00:18:20.880 falsely claimed that fraud was nearly non-existent

00:18:25.040 by using other fake data

00:18:28.000 so they tried to they tried to justify

00:18:30.960 the fraudulent payments

00:18:33.520 by using fraudulent data

00:18:36.400 and an audit state audit caught a moment

00:18:39.760 i read this on the amuse account on x

00:18:44.320 so have you seen the pattern yet

00:18:47.200 that 100 of the time

00:18:49.920 that a democrat run

00:18:52.720 a government funded thing

00:18:55.520 is audited

00:18:57.360 it turns out to be fraudulent

00:19:00.160 or so corrupt

00:19:01.760 that you can't tell what what happened

00:19:03.840 a hundred percent of the time

00:19:05.920 so

00:19:06.720 what kind of state audit

00:19:09.920 um kicks in at this point

00:19:12.720 do they only audit when somebody asks them to in a court case or something

00:19:16.800 so

00:19:20.240 do

00:19:20.320 how many of you remember

00:19:22.960 this will really test your memory

00:19:26.480 how many of you remember

00:19:28.320 that i've said

00:19:30.000 that i can't understand how the government deficits

00:19:34.160 could possibly be so big

00:19:37.040 unless there was massive fraud

00:19:40.000 well it turns out that the fraud is in the trillions

00:19:42.720 there there probably is literally a trillion dollars of fraud every year

00:19:48.640 a trillion

00:19:50.800 a trillion dollars

00:19:52.720 of fraud

00:19:54.160 every year

00:19:55.520 because that's the only way the numbers made sense to me

00:20:04.720 well i don't know if obama i don't know about the obama part but that's funny

00:20:08.880 all right

00:20:11.680 so i'm going to check

00:20:14.080 i'm going to check some dms that came to me

00:20:20.640 canada can be a global leader in reducing the harm caused by smoking

00:20:24.720 but it requires actionable steps now is the time to modernize canadian laws

00:20:30.080 so that adult smokers have information and access to better alternatives by doing so we

00:20:35.600 can create lasting change if you don't smoke don't start if you smoke quit if you don't quit

00:20:43.200 change visit unsmoke.ca

00:20:48.000 because

00:20:50.240 there are indications of the

00:20:53.520 news today

00:20:56.080 so

00:20:58.000 mr solomon i would

00:21:04.800 i was catching up on the candace and stuff she's got some new crazy looking guy 0.96

00:21:14.000 come on

00:21:16.400 let's go to my

00:21:20.080 really

00:21:23.280 oh

00:21:28.800 all right people

00:21:32.960 let's go to

00:21:34.000 there's a story about zorin momdami's director of appointments

00:21:45.200 back in 2016 wrote somewhere it's important that white people feel defeated

00:21:53.040 jd vance is commenting on that can you believe that in 2016 you could say in public

00:22:00.720 it's important that white people feel defeated

00:22:04.640 okay by the way jd vance said something nice about me yesterday on social media

00:22:12.640 he was wishing me well

00:22:15.760 he said i'm one of the good ones

00:22:17.280 well i don't know

00:22:21.840 let's see

00:22:24.320 i guess the new year celebrations have been cancelled

00:22:27.840 in australia france and germany because it's going to be too dangerous

00:22:31.840 because of terrorists

00:22:34.560 you know i wondered when that would happen

00:22:36.560 have you been surprised that there aren't more terrorist attacks and large gatherings

00:22:46.080 i feel like we now expect it to happen

00:22:48.560 uh let's see there's some somalia

00:22:55.920 bad behavior

00:22:58.000 let's see

00:22:59.280 somalia's entire gdp is 13 billion

00:23:02.160 and the exposure to somali fraud in one state is 18 billion

00:23:09.760 chip roy there's mostly on that

00:23:13.120 so there's more somalia related fraud in minnesota

00:23:19.440 than is bigger than the entire gdp of somalia

00:23:23.360 so good job there somalia

00:23:25.360 all right let's see what else we got

00:23:39.520 then

00:23:42.160 ooh

00:23:44.960 just did you know according to the mass amount account

00:23:48.640 that just 27 minutes of daily meditation can grow your brain matter

00:23:55.920 i'm going to say i don't know if i believe that

00:23:59.440 27 minutes of daily meditation grows your gray matter maybe

00:24:14.720 let's see

00:24:19.360 and minnesota

00:24:21.840 according to the end wokeness account

00:24:23.840 the minnesota attorney general

00:24:27.520 ellison

00:24:28.640 he blames the high car thefts

00:24:31.280 in his state on kia and hyundai being too easy to steal

00:24:37.520 that's the problem

00:24:38.800 too easy to steal

00:24:45.280 um

00:24:47.760 hakeem jeffries being bad

00:24:49.360 so trump signed a major executive order that reshapes u.s space policy

00:24:59.440 i guess we want to get to the moon by 2028

00:25:03.040 and have nuclear power up there and missile defense and who knows

00:25:06.640 uh

00:25:11.920 uh

00:25:12.320 uh

00:25:13.360 so trump has threatened to seize more venezuelan tankers

00:25:17.920 they could end up back in one of our harbors he says

00:25:21.680 so i guess the venezuelans are sending their military

00:25:25.840 to accompany their tankers that

00:25:28.480 trump has said he would block

00:25:30.240 i don't think the venezuelan navy wants to take on our navy but we'll see

00:25:37.200 oh yeah i forgot about tucker

00:25:46.160 no we won't talk about him today

00:25:49.840 dr singularity says all cancers will be curable by the early 2030s

00:25:56.480 there's been an enormous amount of breakthroughs in the last

00:25:58.880 well i would say can you do that a little bit faster

00:26:04.640 apparently cannabis camp compounds show promise against one of the deadliest cancers

00:26:13.120 not my type

00:26:17.680 wow

00:26:22.800 uh let's see

00:26:23.680 so somebody somebody believes that we're going to war with venezuela

00:26:33.200 because trump is on the epstein list i don't think it's that

00:26:38.400 but why is it you think we're going to war with venezuela

00:26:44.640 it feels like there might be several different possible reasons

00:26:47.920 and i'm not sure one of them would be you know to control our hemisphere and get rid of the narco 0.96

00:26:58.640 terrorists and stuff but i'm not even sure there's even some dispute whether venezuela is

00:27:07.920 anything they say it is

00:27:14.400 good morning good morning

00:27:17.920 so oh let me give you an update on me

00:27:22.960 so i'm done with all of my uh treatments

00:27:29.200 you know my five radiation treatments radiation yeah whatever it is

00:27:35.360 so now i wait so it could be about two weeks before i see if i get a feeling back in my lower body

00:27:42.400 but uh my doctor stopped by uh yesterday the day before and uh did tell me that there's almost no

00:27:52.480 chance of that happening however a different doctor had a slightly higher um slightly higher

00:28:02.160 optimism but not very high so i wait two weeks to see if any of the treatments i got will make any

00:28:10.320 difference to my body yeah best case scenario if it did work i don't know if it would give me full

00:28:20.320 you know ability to walk but it might give me some feeling back

00:28:24.480 and i don't even know if that would be better or worse frankly all right

00:28:30.080 so john federman attended a classified briefing and confirmed the trump administration knows

00:28:39.440 exactly who was on those drug boats

00:28:41.440 and yet the uh democrats are defending the drug boats because it's on the other side from trump

00:28:55.680 all right what else is going on oh so the kennedy center the board voted unanimous

00:29:03.680 immediately to add trump's name to the iconic dc venue i thought there was some dispute about that

00:29:10.880 this isn't bright bar news so is it true that the kennedy center will be renamed the kennedy trump center

00:29:21.600 i i feel like that's not not necessarily uh confirmed

00:29:38.000 so i guess uh jake tapper and cnn had this uh some doctor in a white coat come on this is

00:29:46.880 breitbart news is reporting this so breitbart is saying jake tapper booked a guy in a lab coat

00:29:54.000 because he tweeted that trump quote looks unwell during his speech on wednesday and then spent an

00:30:00.640 entire segment gravely talking how the president must be dying because he has a quote manic cadence

00:30:07.360 well we'll see james carville apparently said that charlie kirk was not a pimple on rob reiner's 0.98

00:30:21.520 i'm guessing the last word there is ass all right james carville 0.76

00:30:27.040 oh not the kennedy trump center but the they want to call it maybe the trumpet kennedy center 0.93

00:30:45.520 come in got company

00:30:50.880 good morning i i'm on a live stream right now

00:30:57.040 okay all right good night thank you for everything

00:31:05.840 okay do you need me to sign off or

00:31:11.200 i'm just gonna finish report is there anything you need right now

00:31:16.000 no do i have a breakfast coming i believe so yes okay just let me know what time you want to eat

00:31:22.800 just press the call light oh oh okay is that okay i don't know where my call light is it's been moved

00:31:28.320 oh here i'm so sorry you just got here my my call light was not available yes okay

00:31:33.600 all right thanks just let me know what you need okay all right so maybe in maybe in 20 minutes

00:31:40.800 all right thank you thank you the staff here is very good so we'll play around for another 20 minutes

00:31:52.800 uh all right checking out the news

00:32:04.160 trump defies odds achieves economic triple but well so you heard the news about inflation right

00:32:12.240 the inflation was unusually low but it turns out it's probably just the numbers are wrong i don't

00:32:20.240 believe any of the uh yeah i don't believe any of the economic numbers don't believe any of the economic

00:32:31.760 numbers all right let me check owen gregorian's feed owen

00:32:43.840 what do you got going by the way you should you should follow owen gregorian if you like to see stories

00:32:51.840 that i like to see

00:32:52.640 all right um i guess when trump did his uh his speech that only fox news showed the graphics

00:33:08.560 the others didn't show the graphics

00:33:12.080 cnn is forced to admit inflation is coming down

00:33:15.120 um but well i don't know are they forced to admit that yeah i just don't believe any of the

00:33:24.960 any of the inflation numbers i think they omitted some key data

00:33:33.120 so they're proposing renaming it to the trump kennedy center yeah so i guess the kennedy center is not

00:33:40.000 it's not yet renamed but it is proposed

00:33:47.920 and let's see two haitian migrants in massachusetts are accused of more snap

00:33:55.120 scam the snap program was just the biggest scam amazing

00:33:59.280 uh amazon is reportedly in talks according to tech crunch to invest 10 billion in open ai

00:34:12.720 huh

00:34:17.520 and it would use the ai labs did you see the story i don't have it in front of me but apparently one of

00:34:24.880 the moats that open ai had is software not opening um nvidia so nvidia you know of course makes the ai chips

00:34:38.080 but some said that although the chips could be matched by other companies um they had a software moat

00:34:47.200 that would be nearly impossible to match and i think google just matched it which would make the value of

00:34:55.840 nvidia uh plunge which hasn't happened yet but i think it i think it lost a few points

00:35:05.520 what does nvidia look like did it go up or down so i saw one analyst say that the real thing that

00:35:13.920 that supported nvidia's value is that you couldn't match the software but you could match you know

00:35:22.320 potentially you could match the hardware but apparently google made a breakthrough that will

00:35:29.120 allow them to match the software yeah i don't believe the core cpi numbers yeah i just i just don't

00:35:39.360 believe hey sergio good to see you sergio

00:35:47.840 all right uh inflation unexpectedly tumbles to 2.7 or some say 2.6 yeah well it's not getting worse

00:36:00.960 worse but i don't believe i don't believe we can even track those numbers at that level of granularity

00:36:11.440 would you believe according to sprudge coffee that uh the study finds like a causal link between

00:36:21.280 filtered coffee and lower hba1c levels okay that's probably a good thing

00:36:30.960 uh oh wow a north korean infiltrator was caught working on amazon's i.t department

00:36:41.920 because they could somehow track the uh the lag between keystrokes and how long it took to get to

00:36:47.920 the get to where it needed to go according to tom's hardware okay

00:36:56.160 chinese brain implant let's paralyze man control devices with his mind huh maybe i'll get that am i 0.85

00:37:09.120 am i a candidate for the um neural link do you think i can get a brain implant and then turn into a robot

00:37:20.240 because i'm paralyzed below the waist that's an actual possibility isn't it

00:37:28.160 so chinese brain implant let's paralyze man control devices with his mind oh i am so gonna 0.80

00:37:35.440 i'm so gonna turn into a robot all right here's my new plan um i'm gonna get a brain implant whether it's

00:37:45.200 neural link or something else and then i will get a robot body and i will rebuild myself

00:37:54.480 using my human brain but a robot body

00:37:59.280 apparently that is actually something i can do wow

00:38:04.160 let's see

00:38:11.360 did you know according to psi post eric dolan that women are more accurate than men at detecting

00:38:17.680 signs of sickness and faces well are they more accurate or do they care maybe the men don't care

00:38:24.400 but i believe it i would believe a mother would have to be better at it

00:38:34.160 um the trump administration according to the new york post the trump administration is going to probe

00:38:41.520 colorado after 221 dead people received federal housing assistance

00:38:46.960 uh now have i ever mentioned that 100 percent of government entities that involve democrats

00:38:58.000 and money and a non-functional audit system every one of them is corrupt every one of them

00:39:06.480 i don't believe there is an exception

00:39:12.960 uh a meta-analysis according to the side post also eric dolan it says that if you watch too many

00:39:20.400 tiktok and instagram reels is linked to poorer cognitive and mental health well it doesn't surprise me

00:39:27.840 i am surprised well we'll see if it happens but i am surprised that we reached a deal with tiktok

00:39:42.720 yeah escape from prisoner island we'll see so i've got a i've got an appointment phone appointment

00:39:51.440 with my radiologist in two weeks actually the end of the month and if i don't have any

00:40:01.120 if i don't have any feeling in my lower body it would mean the radiation did not work

00:40:06.400 but there's a non-zero chance that i'll have some feeling in my lower body by then

00:40:13.760 i don't know if that'll make things better or worse for me honestly

00:40:16.560 it probably would be worse if i had a little bit of feeling in my lower body but i couldn't

00:40:24.080 you know i couldn't walk if you can't walk you might as well just leave the lower body up to other

00:40:30.480 people so that's my current plan is uh if i don't get my if i get no control of my lower body back

00:40:40.160 and that was the whole point of the radiation to see if i can do it

00:40:42.880 um i am going to try that it's still going to try the pluvicto though but if i can't get

00:40:49.680 any of that control back

00:40:53.600 then i have to delegate my lower body to other people

00:40:57.680 so i would be control of my body from my chest up because that all works fine but from my

00:41:04.160 for my belly button down i would have to pay other people to keep it alive 0.99

00:41:12.640 and that's uh it's a weird kind of life

00:41:17.040 so we'll see if that's worth doing

00:41:22.400 um a hack reveals a a16z backed phone farm flooding tick tock with ai influencers

00:41:29.600 yeah i never trusted tick tock

00:41:38.480 more news about minnesota fraud of course trump media is emerging with a nuclear fusion startup

00:41:49.840 what so the parent company of truth social announced a merger with this technology company ta

00:41:57.280 a nuclear fusion startup in the deal value why would why would that make sense

00:42:05.920 the planet create the world's first utility scale fusion power plant

00:42:12.320 really

00:42:14.720 so it's intended to create electricity through fusion

00:42:17.520 at 50 million watts with construction of the site beginning next year

00:42:26.240 really what they think they can build a fusion site next year

00:42:33.520 and they will make additional ones with an expected output of blah blah blah watts

00:42:39.120 uh so under the deal this is weird trump media could provide a few hundred million in the cash

00:42:52.640 so devon nunes was the ceo of trump media

00:42:56.480 uh so the merger represents a continuation of trump media's america first principles

00:43:02.720 i'll be damned does it make sense that a media company would

00:43:11.600 merge with a fusion company 0.75

00:43:17.600 well let's see the commerce secretary says that next year will be the big one for the economy

00:43:23.360 do you believe that do you believe that 26 2026 we will be uh you know well staged

00:43:36.240 for the economy uh i believe that might be true

00:43:43.200 zme science is asking does music training really make children smarter

00:43:49.120 what do you think do you think music training makes kids smarter or

00:43:59.600 is it the smart kids who take music because it could work either way

00:44:06.640 but according to this study

00:44:10.960 music lessons are oh music lessons are less likely to make children smarter but more likely

00:44:19.040 to reveal the curiosity and discipline they already have all right okay i believe that so music

00:44:26.240 doesn't make you smarter but it might

00:44:31.280 yeah so if you are not believing science is real there's more evidence of that

00:44:36.720 the fusion of media and energy yeah

00:44:48.480 oh here's a good one fox news is reporting the federal watchdog urges white men to report possible 0.96

00:44:57.120 workplace discrimination and i guess jd vance is boosting that message what do you think do you think

00:45:05.120 white men will be doing a bunch of discrimination cases can you imagine how many legal

00:45:16.240 disputes it would be if white men started uh you know going against dei wow

00:45:24.560 uh oh here's this interesting so according to reclaim the net the u.s suspends 41 billion

00:45:39.600 dollar tech deal with the uk over online censorship laws ah so i wondered if the if the u.s would get tough on

00:45:48.400 that so uh i've not been ever comfortable with the idea that europe would decide if what what kind of

00:45:59.200 censorship to put in the u.s companies but they were trying to censor the u.s companies like like x

00:46:08.320 and it looks like the government is going to be backing the u.s companies

00:46:12.080 good you know that would not have happened under biden under biden europe would have uh basically

00:46:21.840 shut down the u.s company social media unless it uh unless it did what europe wanted them to do

00:46:30.720 looks like the trump administration is saying no thanks

00:46:34.160 well according to science alert cheese is linked to lower dementia risk in a 25-year study did you know

00:46:45.760 that if you eat enough cheese it will lower your risk of dementia how many of you believe that's true

00:46:53.120 i wonder if this study was done by big cheese probably yeah probably report pacific bell too late 0.90

00:47:07.200 yeah crocker bank and pacific bell i would sue them both if i were poor and healthy and young and

00:47:15.520 the statute of limitations had not run out wait is there a statute of limitations on civil suits

00:47:26.480 how many lawyers are watching all right question for lawyers lawyer question

00:47:34.800 is there a statute of limitation for his civil suits or is that only for criminal stuff

00:47:42.240 now why don't i know that seems like i should know that

00:47:53.120 so tell me tell me if you're a lawyer and then give me your answer

00:47:59.360 statute of limitation for civil yes or no

00:48:05.840 i'm so i'm not going to sue anybody but

00:48:07.600 uh don't believe it yep fermented food you know wisconsin study

00:48:24.720 american cheese is not like other cheese

00:48:26.960 never met a mouse with dementia yep that's true you've never met a mouse as dementia i call that proof

00:48:43.360 all right here we go according to the conversation micro dosing cannabis pauses alzheimer's decline in

00:48:51.680 unprecedented trial do you believe that uh do you believe that micro dosing cannabis uh slows down dementia

00:49:07.040 well alzheimer's well we'll see

00:49:13.440 my brain will last forever you know the weirdest thing about being in the hospital

00:49:18.880 um is that i went cold turkey on marijuana obviously so that for a week or so

00:49:27.120 um i completely am off marijuana and i haven't really noticed you know because you usually drugged up on

00:49:37.360 painkillers anyway

00:49:38.320 um at the moment um i have some baseline morphine but um uh i've reduced my uh

00:49:51.680 i've reduced my painkillers substantially which might mean the radiation worked at least to decrease pain

00:50:00.880 i don't know yet it's too too early

00:50:10.160 velveta

00:50:14.160 all right what else uh china made some breakthrough in the ev batteries

00:50:22.080 okay there are a lot of stories about battery breakthroughs but

00:50:30.240 until i see it in a tesla i don't believe it

00:50:37.680 um

00:50:39.920 what according to tech explorer there's a new analog computing method

00:50:45.280 the slashes ai training energy use all right so how many of you remember

00:50:53.040 that when nvidia first you know burst on the scene as a ai monster that i invested in in nvidia

00:51:04.960 hold on a second hello hi oh my breakfast is here

00:51:10.160 is it okay if i sit down behind your uh do you have room yes okay so it's time for breakfast

00:51:18.480 people i i won't eat breakfast in front of you because it might be a messy affair

00:52:00.880 so we'll see what happens tomorrow i don't really know all right ending the stream you guys have a great day
