00:05:37.160 great guy very useful and thank you for showing up you guys with us every day at the scott adams
00:05:43.440 school and don't forget coffee with scott adams there's thousands of hours for you and there's
00:05:49.860 more at his locals which is scottadams.locals.com come be a subscriber i was live last night talking
00:05:59.160 to the beloved sippers we had a great time and we encourage you all to come on over and join us there
00:06:05.260 so let's kick it off with some news on this tuesday morning and um owen or marcella who's going first
00:06:12.160 marcella's going first i'm going first um so for my first news is regarding the supreme court we
00:06:20.960 talked about the ruling for the tariffs on friday you know it came out during the time we were uh we
00:06:27.780 were on um ever since then um it's been noted that the tariffs uh ruling from the supreme court only
00:06:37.100 um was only in regards to a certain act any their tariffs that were under the international emergency
00:06:46.160 economics power act i eepa and so those are the only tariffs that were based on that are the only ones
00:06:56.220 that were basically unconstitutional um trump came out fighting um he had a press conference
00:07:06.640 and he basically reframed the defeat that we thought that perhaps he would be defeated you know
00:07:15.520 obviously he will never be defeated he's unstoppable so he took that defeat into victory um he indicated
00:07:23.660 that uh the supreme court's decision was uh basically actually gave him more power than he thought
00:07:34.100 because it gave him clarity for so many years he was waiting it felt like years but you know for so
00:07:40.980 many months he was waiting for a decision by the supreme court and the supreme court outlined that
00:07:46.280 president of the united states does have the ability to do tariffs just not under that particular act
00:07:52.980 so um i'll give it to owen and erica and everybody and sergio to tell me what your thoughts are
00:08:02.360 i definitely give trump 10 out of 10 in reframing this in his favor and in you know keeping his
00:08:08.700 policy alive i think um i'm not sure it really is as clear as he wants it to be because another story
00:08:15.560 i saw was that fedex is suing the government now to get their tariff money back and so that's going to
00:08:20.280 be in the courts and that i'm guessing that will just be the first of many and there'll be lots of
00:08:25.140 court cases coming up trying to clarify all this and then even the new tariffs that he does i'm sure
00:08:29.920 will probably be challenged in court um under these other statutes and i think trump's clarity that he
00:08:37.060 talked about was probably mostly from kavanaugh's dissent but that was the dissent that wasn't the
00:08:42.520 majority opinion so i don't know how much was in the majority opinion that he could count on
00:08:47.660 um i think kavanaugh was the one that kind of wrote the dissent that said well you can't do it
00:08:53.280 that way but you can do it this other way or this other way or this other way and and i don't know
00:08:57.740 if the other justices will agree right i mean they obviously disagree um because they had a different
00:09:03.880 opinion but i don't know that they ever really addressed each other's differences so we'll have to
00:09:11.100 see how this plays out i'm guessing it'll be tied up in the court until trump is out of office
00:09:14.480 but in the meantime i'm guessing he'll continue to collect tariffs so um you know we'll see how it
00:09:20.900 actually doubled down right um he on the press conference on friday he said oh no more tariffs
00:09:28.860 more tariffs 10 percent global tariffs based on section 122 um a different act uh the 1970 rule
00:09:39.560 um but recently i think sunday or saturday he added 15 instead of 10 right oh so it was an additional
00:09:50.860 10 on top of what it already was across the board for everybody now it's 15 yeah all right and by
00:09:59.660 tonight 25 that's 10 more feet on the wall
00:10:03.460 sergio i think this is one of the best examples of how trump follows the law always he's always
00:10:15.120 follows the law he's a uh if you read all his books you know you always see how he uses the law for um
00:10:23.660 for good really i mean because this is a a way that to the court is saying okay you cannot do it this
00:10:32.120 way he tried but now all these other ways have been already discovered and he already knew about it
00:10:40.100 already it wasn't like uh they got surprised i mean for some of us i think that it looks like that
00:10:45.880 but most likely they already game it out trump is not like oh i wonder what i'm gonna do if that
00:10:52.140 happens it's not like that he he's gonna like 100 decide what's gonna happen right so the move was
00:10:59.500 beautiful you know he he did that conference press you know with the lights dimmed out dimmed down
00:11:05.440 laying down the law saying a blue light behind him right there's a they were adding because this was at
00:11:12.600 the white house press room but they added like all these lights like um and loot uh i think uh
00:11:19.960 uh lute nick was next to him um you can go ahead and tell us the persuasion angle sergio
00:11:27.240 i mean the undertaker if you remember in wwe walking down do you remember you guys the undertaker
00:11:36.600 everybody's like what well maybe some of them do but the point is that you set the mood for success
00:11:44.080 you set the music you set everything all the elements uh for that to create that um that image
00:11:50.760 that you want to to to make you know like right now i mean erica said like sergio you your background
00:11:55.800 is too dark you know like make it a little more lively right and it wasn't something that i'm trying
00:12:01.280 to do and uh and and trump went the opposite right like you know what let me go super you
00:12:07.180 know villain here and show you that i'm in business and he went dark maga he went dark maga so erica
00:12:13.800 is like when you see that i i just get shivers right so that's part of the persuasion to get
00:12:19.500 people in that in that mood and then saying okay you know what and everything is still lawful
00:12:25.200 and there's going to be lawsuits like owen said for a long time everybody loves money right nobody's
00:12:31.280 going to stop loving money to today um and and and but the money now is more towards us now it's
00:12:38.080 going to be coming through and cleanly you know five percent more uh the the power of the president
00:12:44.320 to destroy a country economically has been 100 declared lawful and that's what's amazing it's almost
00:12:52.420 like saying you have permission to destroy any country or destroy any narco boat that comes through 0.99
00:12:58.060 right just like that you know it's it's amazing so that's it pretty much what you think and there
00:13:03.640 are more more narco boats every day i saw another story yesterday or today that there's another narco
00:13:08.680 boat going off and there's going to be narco trucks narco buses there's going to be all kinds of
00:13:13.680 narco trains too maybe some planes yes you know ride the narco train i can see it coming
00:13:19.980 okay next story and owen just fyi if you could i don't know talk into the mic something's a little
00:13:28.020 bit off thank you okay i'll do what i can thank you um well there is the of course the story about
00:13:34.540 element show uh being captured or killed i guess and um causing a lot of chaos in mexico uh i think
00:13:43.400 people are really wondering what direction this is going to take um there are tourists that were
00:13:48.520 obviously caught off guard by this that are stuck in porto vallarta can't get out of the country um
00:13:55.120 so they're very scared about what is going on and whether they're going to be safe i think so far
00:14:00.220 most people are safe but there have been a lot of deaths i think there's been at least like dozens
00:14:04.360 of deaths um but i haven't heard i mean i did i think i did see one reference that maybe there was an
00:14:10.180 american killed but i think it was mostly mexicans that were killed um but they were burning the city and 1.00
00:14:16.680 you know essentially having violence erupt in the wake of this um so it seems like the cartels are
00:14:24.720 um this was a u.s backed operation i'm not really sure exactly what that means i'm guessing it might
00:14:30.620 have been intelligence or even just that we told them you need to do this but it looks like it was
00:14:35.720 the mexican army that took them out and so as far as i know publicly at least we don't have boots on
00:14:40.980 the ground going after the cartels but it does seem like they're going after the cartels and and i would
00:14:46.300 kind of expect this will probably continue uh i think they're going to try and take out a lot of
00:14:51.340 the leadership and start dismantling it and it seems like it was at least at the request of the u.s
00:14:56.880 so it seems like maybe there is some negotiation happening between the mexican government and the
00:15:03.100 united states it could be that trump or someone in the administration said look if you guys don't do it
00:15:08.480 we're going to do it so make up your mind you can do it or we can do it but somebody's going to do it
00:15:13.500 and maybe the mexican government said it's better if we do it um but a lot of people speculate that
00:15:19.840 scheinbaum is controlled by the cartels and you know that a lot of the government is controlled by
00:15:24.240 the cartels and even trump has said something like that so it'll be interesting to see how that plays
00:15:29.400 out because you know anytime how did he get caught owen can you explain for me i can um apparently
00:15:38.460 they they verified where he was by finding his girlfriend um who some romantic interest that
00:15:45.540 he was dating and the girlfriend went to where he was and went outside and then um i think the army
00:15:52.380 caught the girlfriend and she pointed to where he was um so i think what you're looking for is is what
00:15:58.620 i told you privately which is men are taken down by their women that's how these things happen that 0.92
00:16:04.260 you had adam and eve you had samson and delilah and even you know abraham lincoln probably didn't
00:16:09.620 want to go to the theater yep you know owen feels like old abe didn't want to go to the theater but
00:16:16.500 his wife was nagging him like i want to see it play this is my interpretation oh my god the theater and the
00:16:24.020 rest is history beautiful you got to take the women out sometimes you know thank you have you seen her
00:16:30.820 have you guys seen her have i seen um the the girlfriend yeah the girl that took down the 0.99
00:16:37.300 adventure right i have well i know that she's only fans i don't have only fans but i know she has it
00:16:44.180 and um and it was like the guy it's just amazing how somebody so powerful right again
00:16:49.620 uh is taken down like this by by the lust and by an only fans model yeah exactly yeah and it happened to
00:16:57.700 um all of them right they happened to um the guy uh the colombian guy too right and also chapel oh
00:17:04.660 yeah you know but women too so no just certainly if i were in a position like that i would not be 1.00
00:17:10.420 trusting my life to an only fans girl i don't think that's a good idea yeah no not when every aspect of
00:17:17.780 their life is like a selfie or a video stream that can't be good but i would like to thank this whole
00:17:24.820 cartel situation for making the midterms better for us showing that we do need a closed border
00:17:31.140 and we do need to get these people the hell out of our country because this is what we're talking 0.95
00:17:36.580 about and you know people underestimate how many cartel members are in our country right now and i
00:17:44.580 say this with any certainty or allegedly as marcella would like me to say but i am pretty sure that
00:17:50.580 there's a lot of politicians that are on the take working with the cartel because for some reason
00:17:56.260 power and money are just the thing that these people love and the reason why they never leave
00:18:02.900 office until they're like dead on the floor and have to get wheeled out because who the heck else
00:18:07.940 wants to work until they're in their 80s but anyway i definitely yeah and it certainly would be you know
00:18:13.940 raise your threat level whatever you were at before put it up a notch especially if you're in
00:18:18.900 in any area where you know there's a lot of cartel activity um but that's probably pretty much every
00:18:22.980 major city at this point and you don't know you don't know when there's going to be some
00:18:27.860 violence here that they think will be retaliation um so be careful and uh we'll have to see how this
00:18:35.380 evolves i think i'm guessing this isn't the end of it i think they may have even said some statement
00:18:39.460 about that like this is just the beginning um and i kind of you know i think it's scott like he wanted
00:18:46.820 he wanted this right he wanted to take down the cartels in china and the fentanyl and and i think
00:18:51.380 this is also meant to do that i think that's really why they're doing it is because they're killing our
00:18:55.460 people they're they're putting fentanyl on the streets they're killing our kids and you know over
00:19:00.420 a hundred thousand a year and it's really war it's it's a war it's a war act to do that and so i think
00:19:06.980 it's very justified in my opinion to defend ourselves against that and to take them down and i think it you
00:19:12.500 know trump is again taking the strong position saying i'm not going to let this continue and he
00:19:16.740 did a lot of stuff with china but obviously that wasn't enough now he's going after the cartels so
00:19:22.260 yeah um you know i think scott may get his final victory that we're going to crush fentanyl and not
00:19:27.380 have that coming in and killing our kids anymore erica just one last thing on that because uh some 0.97
00:19:32.420 people were asking about what to do they have family in mexico should they tell them to get the
00:19:37.700 hell out right now or wait a little longer um i saw saw that a little bit of that on youtube and
00:19:44.180 here too so um right now the the doctor is not barking if it was a real um attack right now like
00:19:52.180 a counter attack there would be so many deaths there will be like hundreds of deaths right now
00:19:56.820 the deaths that have been have been more um a side effects because they've been doing this what
00:20:02.660 they're doing is they're protesting it's just like the same thing that the democrat um the dams and
00:20:08.260 the antifa and us you know when they get angry and they want to get attention so they were doing that
00:20:13.300 because their leader got captured so they're burning a lot of gas stations but shooting at government
00:20:19.300 buildings taking airports but they haven't been take uh killing people yet like random exactly and the
00:20:25.940 last ones they're gonna kill are gonna be uh american passport people you know any american citizen
00:20:31.540 they don't want to mess with that they they're the last ones but you never know it can happen and
00:20:37.620 it's going to happen because this war is going to get just um either there are two ways that it's
00:20:42.420 going to go it's either going to be bloody and horrible for the last for the next years or it's
00:20:48.420 going to be beautiful like venezuela you know venezuela now is peaceful we are working together
00:20:53.940 everything is fine so one of those two so take a guess which one is going to be and that's it yeah yeah
00:20:59.300 i mean i i would just say if if you have family or friends or people that happen to be in mexico at
00:21:04.100 this point just check the state department see what guidance they have they you know they i think
00:21:09.460 initially they were saying just shelter in place and they had shut down all the flights i don't know
00:21:14.260 if they've been reopened yet i'm guessing it won't be too long if they haven't already reopened the
00:21:17.780 flights but um certainly if i were there i'd want to get my family out as quickly as possible if i were from
00:21:23.300 the united states and i just happened to be vacationing in mexico or something but i would i would only want to do it
00:21:29.220 with you know the essentially guidance from the government saying yes it's safe yes here's how to
00:21:33.940 do it well if you see helicopters playing around your resort that's when you start packing i think
00:21:41.060 you can't get out you can't get out though just yeah i mean you will have information on your
00:21:47.620 social media from officials telling you what to do and the hotels are going to try to guide you and
00:21:53.300 still keep you safe but you do need to leave like these people are in a war with the cartels they
00:21:58.580 need to go but um or if you're suicidal you might have to spend a lifetime for a vacation you know
00:22:04.100 if you're suicidal and you want to go out in paradise per se have at it and the other thing i wanted to
00:22:10.100 just say because i just want to put one more point on this um for scott also is that i just want you
00:22:17.860 guys to picture so you know we know china do i have to say allegedly marcella is making the fentanyl 0.82
00:22:25.220 and they're giving it to the mexican cartel and then they're making the precursor chemicals run at
00:22:32.100 least yeah yes right so so when people are like i i talk to people about this a lot um i have i have
00:22:39.940 actually many friends whose kids died from fentanyl like it's just so weird like many and um
00:22:47.380 i want you guys to understand when i explain this to people i'm like we're literally at war
00:22:53.140 with like china's at war with us okay so if you want to look at it this way what do they say like
00:22:58.580 approximately 70 000 people od on fentanyl right in this country a year so look at it this way picture
00:23:06.180 like a football stadium with 70 000 people in it and then china and mexico drop a bomb on it 0.71
00:23:14.580 and they wipe out 70 000 americans look at it that way instead of like hearing a drip here and a drip
00:23:21.540 here and the drips you never hear because they are literally dropping a bomb on a football stadium
00:23:27.620 full of people every year could you imagine if you saw it that way visually so yeah and a huge
00:23:35.780 number of them are kids narcos narcos have killed more americans than any enemy we've ever had in
00:23:42.100 history right if you put all the enemies together no enemy has killed more americans than the narcos 0.74
00:23:47.860 have yeah i know that there's like a lot of reasons why they do it whatever in china uh backing them up
00:23:53.860 now yeah so they there's you're you're 100 right erica i agree with you 100 yeah they have two more
00:23:59.380 americans that picture you know just picture picture if we saw a stadium every year blow up full of 1.00
00:24:04.900 people you'd be like oh my god right so that's what's happening and somebody asked you know do
00:24:10.100 you think cancun is safe no just cancel travel plans to mexico just forget mexico just take it off
00:24:16.100 your list for the next five years we'll see what happens and i love mexico and i love the mexican
00:24:22.660 people believe i've been there probably five times love it love it love it i don't see myself being able to
00:24:28.420 go back there so sorry all right we'll move on but it's an important story because it does affect
00:24:33.540 us here too so thank you i'm hoping they can really you know dismantle this but it is a difficult thing
00:24:38.740 and it's going to be hard to say that we need to be rid of like bukelly in salvador he's the only one
00:24:44.900 that has been able to do that so i honestly don't think mexico can do it on their own no i think they
00:24:52.820 would have to have our help i think we'd have to go in and take it take them out there on the ground
00:24:56.820 and i don't think mexico is ready to do that maybe they'll reach that point if they're getting
00:25:01.060 retaliated against enough that they think okay this is a war you know civil war now but i don't think
00:25:06.500 it's reached that point let's take a vote i'm gonna put a poll up later can't we just take the
00:25:11.060 whole continent i mean wouldn't that just be better yes manifest destiny yeah because oh my god i i would
00:25:18.260 move to mexico if i could move there i just i love the climate everything anyway do we have to take
00:25:23.460 canada just just for a victory lap yes we do let's at least not make it a state don't give them any
00:25:31.140 voting rights i love canada listen canada better get its together they used to just be our nice little
00:25:39.300 friendly neighbor to the north now they're just we love we love the canadians we're not loving what
00:25:45.140 your government's doing we do love the canadians china china it's china again china on both sides
00:25:52.180 trying to take us down yep okay well we've got more news we might be bashing canada one more time
00:25:59.140 later but it's just for fun okay carry on we've got more epstein news uh peter mandelson has been
00:26:04.500 arrested over in the uk um so a follow-up to prince andrew or expert prince andrew being uh
00:26:11.300 arrested i think they raided this mandelson person's house a few weeks ago so now they followed
00:26:15.220 up with an arrest so once again the uk seems to be taking this a lot more seriously than we are here
00:26:20.180 in terms of actually holding people accountable for this um hopefully that will change but um and then
00:26:27.220 you know you you heard the story right we've seen all the upstate files that's it we got them all
00:26:31.620 right well apparently not apparently jeffrey epstein had storage boxes all over the place across the
00:26:39.140 country in like storage lockers and boxes and boxes of records and it looks like he had computers
00:26:46.900 photos and gear in u.s storage units um he rented at least six from 2003 to 2019 and it included items
00:26:56.180 from little saint james island and apparently the fbi never may never have searched them so now they're
00:27:02.020 looking to try and get this and it looks like we might have yet another round of epstein files
00:27:06.020 imagine that oh boy i have nothing will there be more arrests do you think
00:27:16.020 well i i do think there probably will be more in europe i think there are some other countries that
00:27:19.700 are also going after people i forget if it was sweden or norway or somewhere else that they were also
00:27:23.860 going after somebody but um i don't know about the us i don't know i mean i i tend to think that
00:27:30.260 that my perception is that they were very careful in all the criminal cases and lawsuits
00:27:38.580 to only present evidence against epstein and gillaine maxwell and no one else and so they don't have
00:27:46.500 a lot of that evidence just to say oh we've got the evidence let's just go arrest them right i mean i
00:27:51.300 think they may not have curated out the stuff around prince andrew and all these other things that we're
00:27:57.700 seeing over in europe but i'm guessing they probably were careful to say we need to make sure we hide
00:28:03.540 anything about people in the us maybe keep it in the cia or you know somewhere else and i don't really
00:28:09.780 believe for a moment that we've seen everything and i do think there are people that should be in prison
00:28:15.220 from the us um you know i'm surprised that we haven't gone after more people that were really close
00:28:22.020 to them like lex wexner and um but um you know they do need evidence right and so i my if i were
00:28:30.980 i mean you can tell me if i'm wrong marcella but what i would expect is they have to do a new
00:28:35.380 investigation if they're going to do that they can't they can't just say well you were in the
00:28:39.620 epstein files 2000 times so we're going to arrest you um you know they need to have some actual hard
00:28:45.380 evidence of laws being broken and you know i'm not sure that i've seen anything that's definitive
00:28:52.580 where you can say here's the law they broke here's why they should be arrested in the files themselves
00:28:57.300 again maybe we haven't seen everything maybe there's stuff that was redacted maybe there's
00:29:01.460 stuff in these storage boxes that'll change it but um you know i think to me it's probably something
00:29:07.300 where you might need a new investigation although a lot of ceos are leaving their positions because
00:29:13.620 of the epstein files before they're even brought out sergio yeah oh well um there's a dog not barking
00:29:20.500 here right because um if you see do you see any protests right now asking for the epstein files to be
00:29:27.380 released right there's not a lot of people out there um you know on the streets asking for the epstein
00:29:33.620 files to be released um it looks like a lot of protests we know they get paid right and uh who
00:29:39.540 pays them who pays all the people that are protesting out there right so i don't think they're very
00:29:44.740 interested in this epstein thing you know like oh when you're saying oh we hope we catch somebody
00:29:49.780 um they don't care if it's not trump they don't care they're not going to push anybody so everything
00:29:55.220 is just it was just for trump so if it's not if it's not trump in the name then i'm going to get uh
00:30:01.860 in prison at all so that's what's going on so yeah if you don't see anybody protesting and
00:30:07.620 demanding on you know for the epstein files that you you there's something going on there
00:30:14.020 it's pretty pathetic watching democrats suddenly now want information on the epstein files when they
00:30:20.180 think maybe trump could be in there not understanding how stupid they are that they had the opportunity to
00:30:26.260 do that forever they didn't give a about what was going on over there with the the kids and the
00:30:31.620 young women or all of the you know money laundering and all the blackmail but now they care no they 1.00
00:30:39.220 don't care they all they care about is getting trump so i'm i'm certain you know it's so amazing
00:30:45.140 to me this blind spot the democrats have that all they do is care about hurting trump they care about
00:30:51.380 women and children and drugs and this and that they're so the party of just death and destruction 1.00
00:30:57.380 and turn a blind eye as long as you can get trump then we then we care it's like they're never
00:31:02.980 complaining about what about the kids it's like oh trump was in there like he's the most vetted man
00:31:09.460 on the planet you guys have to just take a breath like somebody said go smoke a cigar go hang out with
00:31:17.060 your kids take up a hobby go shopping take the social media off of your devices you're so shot out you're
00:31:25.620 not fun you're not funny you're not cute you look a mess everybody calm down if there was anything in
00:31:33.140 those files don't you think a hundred times over that that would have been trotted out don't you think
00:31:39.620 epstein would have put it out himself like get a grip he's vetted he's fine he's not molesting kids
00:31:46.820 he's a he was a billionaire businessman in new york and here's the news flash they're a little handsy
00:31:53.540 maybe or maybe they can get any chick they want this is not new okay uh this is not shocking the
00:32:00.180 locker room talk on the bus that day grab them by the whatever that's two dudes talking in a bus
00:32:05.860 and listen i've said worse with my friends so don't act like you guys are all pollyanna
00:32:11.460 make me rant today too early okay next story amazing i wanted to do my my story um
00:32:18.020 um it's uh gavin what i call gavin 960 newsome um as you guys are probably well aware um
00:32:27.940 he uh gavin made some
00:32:32.580 some controversial remarks he has a book tour in on sunday night he made he was with the mayor of
00:32:42.100 atlanta in georgia and he said to him to the mayor um by the way i need to specify the mayor is african
00:32:51.060 american and he looked at him and he said i'm like you as he discussed his 960 sat score by telling him
00:33:01.860 that because of that he was like him and uh basically he dumped he was like yeah i'm dumb
00:33:08.580 um basically in those words not exactly reframe uh rephrase rephrasing his words but um i mean
00:33:18.020 people came out um against it uh senator tim scott accused newsome of stereotyping black african
00:33:26.020 black people um black americans as giving them a low bar um he said i can't read i'm like you
00:33:34.580 oh he did say i can't read unlike you he talked about dyslexia though um allegedly yeah allegedly he
00:33:44.340 has dyslexia um i know a lot of americans suffer from dyslexia so i don't want to make light of it
00:33:51.940 but um still the way that he approached the subject was iffy um and then i don't know if if owen or
00:34:03.300 one of you sergio or erica want to read uh donald trump uh president trump made a truth post yesterday
00:34:12.900 about it and i don't know if you would like to read it owen this is disruptors no hype no hot takes
00:34:20.580 just clear thinking real trade-offs and practical insight with a focus on what matters for canada
00:34:27.300 every episode we talk to the people shaping what comes next in business policy technology
00:34:33.460 and the real economy i'm john stockhouse polo disruptors and never miss an episode
00:34:42.260 i can look for it give me a minute to pull it up if i can find it
00:34:46.580 looking for it um a i think that a this is going to be a lot of fun you know for for what was going to
00:34:54.020 happen because when trump uh decided to um go all in on newsome on this is going to make newsome
00:35:01.460 stronger right now right in his base right his base is stronger this he's being rupa right now because
00:35:08.420 he didn't mean black people he meant like the people there like the normal people right so it's 0.97
00:35:15.780 very interesting to see it was an audience of black people no no it wasn't it was actually white people
00:35:22.100 mostly it's just that guy um in the audience right then in front of he was black right but most of the
00:35:27.540 people oh yeah he's like uh i mean this is one of those things like i'm not going to be popular for
00:35:33.700 saying it and it doesn't matter because i love that he's getting rupert you know the way that
00:35:38.100 our president got rupert right so let's go for it let's keep rupert him you know harder but gavin's
00:35:44.980 problem is not the base like i mean he needs to grab everybody else the base is the base is the base
00:35:52.500 exactly yeah he's he needs to grab everybody else you know the people who know how to read i don't see it
00:36:00.180 i don't see a true social list about net newsome maybe it's in the dms but okay um so he basically
00:36:07.300 i'll i'll be trump today you guys can you can you okay yep can you be okay with that yeah so
00:36:14.340 whoa gavin newscom just dropped out of the presidential race president djt so basically
00:36:23.220 what trump is saying president trump is saying is that by gavin having this uh
00:36:30.740 misunderstanding perhaps as sergeant would say um that this ends his presidential race
00:36:38.340 uh because what allegedly he did was a little bit racist uh more than a little um but it's funny i
00:36:52.020 you know i didn't know you could that's very low score for 960 that's all i can say but um
00:36:59.380 i personally don't think that his presidential he could still become president i mean
00:37:06.900 people don't care about facts they do not care about facts i think in fact president trump should
00:37:13.060 know that because that's what happened to him in 2015 is that people were talking about the grabbing
00:37:19.700 of you know what and everything else and he people still voted for him because it's how you make people
00:37:27.140 feel it's not it's the emotion of the voter and then them making their fake because uh for some other
00:37:34.660 reason so i don't really think he's out of the race in fact it's just giving him more power uh more
00:37:43.220 attention remember uh part of persuasion is grabbing attention and gavin newsom is having us talk about
00:37:50.740 him for almost the entire day yesterday so that in itself uh and i don't know what your thoughts
00:37:59.300 i think i think gavin newsom is not gonna be the candidate i think scott predicted that a while
00:38:05.060 back um probably for different i predict he will be but um it seems to me like he's taking all the
00:38:12.020 arrows when no one else is right now where he's there's another story about him taking a swipe at
00:38:17.620 kamala harris about her relationship with the mayor that got her career started in the bedroom and um
00:38:25.300 so it seems like he's going against his own party and that's going to come back to bite him probably
00:38:30.980 because a lot of people still like kamala on that side i don't know if the ladies will like that 1.00
00:38:35.940 yeah i don't think a lot of dems like kamala to be honest well i mean i'm sure they were disappointed
00:38:41.780 in her but i i think if they see newsom taking shots at kamala i don't know remember marcella the
00:38:48.580 white liberal women or the affluent liberal women they are like all about women go girls don't talk 1.00
00:38:58.180 about my kamala i mean oh i i just think he's you know he he's out so early in this right he's the
00:39:08.260 only real democrat that's really hard campaigning even though he hasn't officially announced obviously
00:39:13.700 he's campaigning for a president and um i think that's a mistake i think that's something where
00:39:20.100 it gives everybody else time to gather ammunition against you see what your positions are and position
00:39:24.580 yourself to be better than that and learn from his mistakes and he's making a whole bunch of mistakes
00:39:31.380 and you know his record obviously isn't very good to begin with but i think you know to your
00:39:37.300 point he does have a lot of charisma he probably has better charisma than most other people that
00:39:42.100 i might think about um but at the same time i think he has so much baggage that i think it's
00:39:49.860 going to sink him and what he's saying now is just compounding that where he's making these gaffes
00:39:55.700 he's making these stupid statements um he's acting like he's he got really angry after someone on fox
00:40:02.420 called him out on his racism on this and he's like you know getting all upset about it um and he just
00:40:09.060 doesn't come across as strong at this point well if you see biden right biden won by being i know he was
00:40:19.380 like so weak okay go ahead yeah i know biden is so weak and so pathetic and um and and thank you and and
00:40:27.460 and and and really like incompetent right and and people love him and his base loved him so much so
00:40:36.180 i think that marcel is right i think that uh newsom is the most likely one to be the candidate i don't
00:40:41.700 see anybody else close to be at the top right there i think that he's he's uh stronger on his base and
00:40:47.700 what he did now is similar to what trump did with the with the supreme court because i think he's saying
00:40:53.940 okay you know what i'm gonna be i'm gonna double down on being the biggest retard ever and he went 0.93
00:40:59.940 for it and everybody's like yes let's go for it my retard you know he's my retard right so people love
00:41:09.620 that people love that you know as long as you don't go full and i don't think he went full he just went
00:41:16.180 like right there where everybody gets um feels a connected to him right so uh i think that um
00:41:24.340 his base is he's gonna be after him stronger now and now there's nothing that can stop him because
00:41:31.460 no baggage that comes out can be worse than this you know it's like okay i already told you i cannot
00:41:36.500 even read i mean i don't know i disagree i think there's words that can come out yeah i disagree i mean
00:41:42.420 it first of all when he said on that same interview he said when he said you know oh i can't read a
00:41:49.860 teleporter like i can't i i might be in the wrong business and i'm like that's the problem this is a
00:41:55.620 business for you being a politician you're saying is your business which like just sickened me because
00:42:01.620 he just looks like a slick car salesman and wait could you stand this and then this is what we're
00:42:09.940 gonna do is give and take it's like what are you doing and look at california like every major
00:42:19.780 money-making corporation's leaving billionaires are leaving rightfully so and you know more people
00:42:25.620 are moving out than more people are moving out than moving in i mean like he's like voguing when
00:42:31.700 he talks look at all the people moving out behind me i can't i can't take him but i i just think he's a
00:42:37.380 slimy politician he's related to nancy pelosi this is just that's exactly right this is they're all
00:42:45.460 just freaking grifters and california is so so so beautiful the most gorgeous real estate and climate
00:42:53.060 and all of it and there's so many people that are loyal to it and they stay there because they're
00:42:58.180 like generational californians but it's like disgusting what's happening there and you know when 0.72
00:43:05.780 you watch tv shows like you know i have friends that are like oh my god it looks so beautiful i
00:43:09.700 want to go there i'm like that's a camera angle like that's just a camera angle for you if someone's
00:43:14.100 lawn and the fountain i was like it is such a show there now it's so sad and he's like oh now let me do
00:43:21.620 to america what i did to california no just think of all the meme potential i didn't say he would win i
00:43:30.180 need to convince you just think of all the memes we can make out of these things against newsome yeah
00:43:35.460 all right memes don't affect like the way you are talking about owen a lot of memes actually
00:43:41.940 help people a lot you know even even if the reader memes just the fact that he's out there so much and
00:43:47.940 and the more we hate him the more they love him that's the way they work but that's the base that's not
00:43:53.860 i agree it's not it's only the base we are going to hit him more now but the base is going to lower
00:44:00.420 more and yeah he might not win but he's the top well i'm going to stick to my prediction the candidate
00:44:06.420 i'm going to stick to mine he'll be the candidate we have a bet then all right but uh what are we
00:44:12.180 betting for oh well we'll figure it out it can be a challenge it doesn't need to be but um no i think
00:44:20.340 tell us in the chat what we should bet honestly i would say like pritzker might be a more likely
00:44:26.260 candidate and i hate to say that oh i know but he is on osempic yeah he's on the zempy he's on the
00:44:33.380 zempy he's got lots of money and he you know can talk pretty good i guess not not quite as smooth as
00:44:40.260 newsome but maybe in a good way and uh i think so but i don't know um he's just he's another one
00:44:50.020 though trump derangement syndrome he doesn't come up with any any anything all i hear him doing is
00:44:54.820 complaining about trump and republicans like okay we know like we complain we complain but what are
00:45:00.260 you going to mention shapiro well i think he's a possibility too the the obama impersonators are
00:45:06.100 going to be coming up too shapiro and that other guy that was uh on the late night show that was
00:45:12.340 rico or something like they're both obama impersonators i had a story about that today
00:45:18.260 so is pete buddha judge white obama impersonators oh congratulations to pete buddha judge by the way
00:45:24.100 he has um his popularity is rising amongst black voters he has gone from zero percent to one percent
00:45:32.340 so big shout out to buddha judge making making waves i would love to see them try and push
00:45:37.780 that would be i do want to cover something else you guys um and owen can cover it since he he's so good
00:45:46.260 at it um the hockey win uh for the men's u.s hockey come on we practice this flag behind me yay go men
00:45:57.700 hockey team u.s hockey um they won on sunday i know some of you watched it um some of you watched hockey
00:46:05.940 for the first time as i hear um one of the main patriotic moments was when the goalie stopped
00:46:13.940 the canadian um from scoring and that would be hella back and then the other one would be jack hughes
00:46:22.900 who you know as the missing teeth or half a tooth hockey player who was asked about the united states
00:46:31.940 and he was so proud to play for the united states it was amazing um to see them i think we're gonna
00:46:38.500 see them tonight on the state of the union um the interesting there's two things that came out
00:46:45.220 politically from the win uh one i think director fbi director cash patel was actually in the locker room
00:46:54.580 celebrating with them and i think a lot of people are like did you vote for this is this what you voted
00:46:59.380 for and our people are like yes that's what we voted for we voted for our director fbi director to be
00:47:05.780 drunk with the u.s hockey team while winning um and the other one was um i think cash patel had uh called
00:47:19.220 president trump and to speak to the team and he made certain remarks in regards to the women's team
00:47:26.980 he said oh i think i he invited at the at the time in the phone call i think you guys can see it it's
00:47:33.380 like 13 million views um of the video of the phone call while in the locker room and basically what
00:47:41.780 happened is he he was inviting the men's team to the to tonight um and the state of the union and he told
00:47:51.620 them oh you know but i have to also invite the women's team you know because if i don't do that 1.00
00:47:57.860 i'll get impeached and um well let's just say that the women's team did not well they didn't comment on
00:48:07.380 it but they also declined his invitation um they're not going um i i personally think that they should
00:48:14.900 have gone it's an opportunity when do you get invited to the state of the union um and when do
00:48:20.580 you get to be the special guest for the president of the united states not very often so i don't know
00:48:28.660 your thoughts erica on the women's team i'm a i am a hockey fan i haven't watched hockey in a while but
00:48:35.700 um i don't want to hear it in the chat but i'm an islander fan let's go islanders long island
00:48:40.660 and um not the rangers no but you know what i'm a weird fan because if the islanders are out and the
00:48:50.340 rangers are still in i will root for the rangers because it's like a new york new jersey vibe but i
00:48:55.780 am an islander fan um anyway i used to go to the games every friday with my grandfather um i babysat
00:49:02.900 for one of the islanders kids like i knew them because a lot of them live where my grandparents
00:49:07.220 live shout out okay so anyway hockey fan i want to say first i want to say i don't know any of these
00:49:14.500 players names but that jack jack's uh score the what an amazing assist he got the guy that you know
00:49:24.100 shot the puck to him for the it's so tempting to want to take a shot like that and be like i could
00:49:29.380 take this shot right now and win or do i pass it to this guy who's got the opening and he can do it
00:49:35.140 team work i love that and also the women's hockey the uh scoring goal holy cow what a freaking fakey 1.00
00:49:44.740 shot she did yep and that was just amazing so shout out to both teams as for the women honestly um did i
00:49:55.060 did were they all standing for the for the um okay so they did all the right proper stuff they didn't do
00:50:01.940 the u.s soccer women's team thing okay yeah that's what i thought okay so you know what they don't
00:50:07.140 want to go to the state of the union it they're just falling in line with you know whatever i'm
00:50:11.700 sure i don't care i don't i don't necessarily think they should have gone and i think that the
00:50:17.140 significance of the men women was winning was much different than the women because of the not winning
00:50:22.660 since 1980 and it was just so long awaited and it definitely just felt bigger not that the women's
00:50:32.020 wasn't amazing but the men's thing was like iconic it was like a moment it was like the most like
00:50:38.660 olympic thing that could happen for america um so i'm proud of both teams but don't know in the chat
00:50:45.700 that uh that um i don't know the stores because they don't list the source but they said that the
00:50:52.180 women's team had declined to go before this comments were made by president trump so they had
00:51:00.340 been asked because they won earlier on um and i think he probably asked them at that moment in time
00:51:06.420 but i guess they declined i'm not sure yeah yeah i'll just add a political angle that you know 1980 was
00:51:14.020 largely a thought it was a political victory as much as a sports victory because we beat the soviet
00:51:18.660 union and it was this big come from behind victory and so it was this you know they call it the miracle
00:51:24.500 on ice and um now we did the same thing to canada so we kind of demoralized canada in the process of
00:51:30.180 this that they they this is their one point of pride that they think they're better at hockey than the
00:51:35.060 united states and apparently not so canada has anything left where they can say they're better than the
00:51:40.740 united states they could have been champions if they had been part of the united states 51st state
00:51:45.940 they could have been but no they got katy perry instead i'm glad you mentioned 1980 like that uh
00:51:53.220 erica because uh you know gen xers right we know remember those times and uh i wasn't a citizen here
00:51:59.620 yet but i was a visitor of america and i was a admirer of the country already you know growing up in mexico
00:52:06.340 and um and it felt like um it felt like the 80s the last two days it has been feeling like that i've
00:52:13.300 been feeling the the spirit rising uh that's something that trump has been speaking about um
00:52:19.140 um a lot about the recruitment uh the um i call it uh the the the everybody's meeting the quotas
00:52:27.940 of recruitment in all the armed forces police everything military yeah yeah military everybody
00:52:34.260 is so excited uh you see people singing the the national anthem in bars uh this is amazing what is
00:52:41.700 going on i never expected this to come from hockey uh it really got me but i should have because it's all
00:52:47.860 been about ice right it's all about the ice ice you know everywhere and um and and this is the
00:52:55.620 the gear of the ice and the ice is saving us now the women and the men and i see like that momentum
00:53:01.540 going and i feel like um uh we just gotta ride it you know i'm glad that you guys have the flags
00:53:06.900 it's not because i truly get money usa usa usa usa you have the state of the union tonight um trump is
00:53:16.660 going to have a long speech on the economy affordability he's going to talk about the lower
00:53:20.580 inflation the rents stocks are being high and all the tax refunds that are coming and he's going to claim
00:53:27.220 gaza peace and has the border fixed and maduro captured and um his previous strike on iran so he's
00:53:34.260 going to be going through a lot of different topics there i think he is coming trying to hope
00:53:38.100 hopefully boost his polls right now he has a 55 disapproval rating so his ratings are down from
00:53:44.020 where they were so i think he's hoping he can boost this going into the midterms um so we'll have to see
00:53:49.460 what happens i i don't know how much disruption there's going to be from the democrats i think uh
00:53:54.260 adam schiff might have been one that said he's not going to even go to it um we'll have to see if nancy
00:53:59.300 pelosi tears and so neck is not going yeah and uh so i don't know you know i don't know if there'll
00:54:06.820 be too much disruption but we'll have to see how the democrats behave um but i think he has a lot to
00:54:14.580 talk about a lot of good things to talk about so i'm hoping it i'm hoping it does get through to
00:54:18.420 people i'll be watching for you guys just fyi because i be watching with us i'll be watching it
00:54:25.700 for this community so we can talk about it tomorrow because honest to god i i just am not a fan of the
00:54:32.660 theatrics at the state of the union and their little paddles and we're gonna wear white and no no don't
00:54:39.700 clap for the little boy who survives is surviving brain cancer don't clap for him i'm like what uh oh oh
00:54:46.900 so something good happened in the country not happy no i just like i cannot take these people
00:54:53.780 all like or do you just hate everything you guys i'm on a tear uh anyway uh so what are your
00:55:00.820 predictions i predict that i'm gonna need a shot of vodka oh oh you mean about the state of the union
00:55:09.380 i have none sergio well uh it's gonna be fun it's gonna be there's so many chances of uh getting the
00:55:20.820 people excited tonight that uh i don't know what else can compete is there is there any counter
00:55:26.260 programming on the left uh yeah there will be after no they're gonna have a whole counter
00:55:31.860 programming all through it too and then span burger and probably some other radicals are gonna talk
00:55:36.980 afterwards good go to the counter program and go watch the circus over there let the adults handle
00:55:43.540 the country thank you i don't know i i mean i predict the theater kids are gonna come out and
00:55:50.100 play they're gonna be acting like little kids um and they might not even clap for the united states men's
00:55:58.180 hockey team when he mentions them or anybody else that he's mentioning and i know that uh most likely
00:56:05.220 he'll mention the golden age because that's already been part of their the white house has already posted
00:56:11.620 about the state of the union being the golden age state of the union speech um i he'll focus on the
00:56:20.340 economy the domestic front but he'll also mention foreign uh you know foreign victories like all the
00:56:29.940 eight peace uh eight countries that or eight conflicts he has resolved plus the ninth one i have a quick
00:56:39.140 question because we only have a couple minutes left does anyone think he's gonna do one of those like
00:56:44.580 weird head fakes tonight where he's doing the state of the union meanwhile we're like bombing iran
00:56:50.420 oh i doubt it i i don't think he'd do it during because he'd want to be there in the chance erica there is
00:56:58.900 a chance for that yeah i know i worry about those things because he you know he is one of those
00:57:05.060 you know we'll give you two weeks to think about it and oh we bombed you you know it's like oh so i i
00:57:10.980 hope not um i i just don't like it but if it's a if it's a nice clean precision attack it would be
00:57:18.180 great right if it's the start of the war then not because though maybe not but if it's like a quick
00:57:24.740 precise takedown of this guy like maduro i mean we'll we'll go for it i i can't really speak too much
00:57:32.660 on that because i don't know enough about it really there's been movement actually of uh troops and
00:57:37.860 uh there's been um indication that that might you know it's coming soon you know um but we'll we'll
00:57:47.620 find out won't we is everybody gonna watch tonight and um listen here's here's the pros we get to see
00:57:54.820 jd vance and like watch his smiley face and we don't have to see nancy pelosi and her big sourpuss 0.97
00:58:02.260 denture head sick of her and um also if i just listen and maybe don't watch i won't be as you
00:58:10.660 know unhinged so maybe we can listen to it and not watch it so hard but that's how i'm gonna do it
00:58:17.220 erica one more thing i wanted to mention uh we do have um troops on the ground in mexico uh navy seal
00:58:25.140 team too has been there uh they would approve by the senate to go there uh so we do so pray for them
00:58:32.900 really to so they don't really get uh involved in anything yes absolutely always praying for the
00:58:39.940 most peaceful outcome for all all of the world really just it's um there's a lot going on um i
00:58:47.300 will not host a state of the union watch party because you'll have to call an ambulance for me if
00:58:52.420 you see me fall on the floor so sorry chat i can't do it i just can't do it um i there's a lot
00:58:58.900 of cursing for me when i watch that i'm like very tense i don't this is just my nature but you guys so
