Rebel News Podcast - ANDREW CHAPADOS ｜ “Don't Be So Open Minded That Your Brain Falls Out” — Chad Prather (BlazeTV)

00:00:00.000 chad prather is a comedian musician and host of the chad prather show on blaze tv

00:00:10.180 his book am i crazy an unapologetic patriot takes on the insanity of today's woke world

00:00:15.580 is available everywhere now the chad of chads joins me now chad prather how are you i'm doing

00:00:22.080 good man it's good to be with you thanks for having me on hope all is well thank you you too

00:00:26.300 love the relationship we've built with blaze tv your book am i crazy i have it right here it's not

00:00:31.980 your typical book i was looking through it the last couple days it's a book of rants that are all

00:00:37.520 a couple pages long so i thought it was really unique very digestible and some of the rants

00:00:41.180 include that i wrote down trump derangement syndrome 16 year old voters the peloton bike rant which i

00:00:47.540 want to touch on but what inspired you to do this sort of format and write this book so what i did

00:00:53.740 is i i took some things you know if people are reading through it they may even there's some

00:00:58.160 things that i said or ranted on you know maybe a year and a half ago and they were things that

00:01:04.220 people say well that's not relevant like trump's not still president or whatever i kind of walk you

00:01:08.900 through the principles that were of the stories that were going on at the time but the principles

00:01:15.220 remain the same you know some of the things may change uh circumstantially but but the principles

00:01:20.880 remain the same let's face it we're up against this uh what we call this woke culture right and

00:01:26.780 the progressive crazies that are out there you know i asked the question am i crazy and quite honestly

00:01:32.520 we all must be because the asylums are seemingly empty you know the crazies are walking the street 0.99

00:01:37.960 not only that they're sitting in office and creating the policies so how do we engage that you know how do

00:01:43.600 we bring common sense back into the public discourse and so that's what i try to do is bring out those

00:01:49.640 underlying principles and help kind of arm people with a little bit of common sense so that they can

00:01:53.920 engage this culture war because let's face it it's a cultural war to the death right now uh especially

00:01:59.600 when you consider cancel culture and all those things of that nature they're really coming after us 1.00

00:02:03.920 yeah i like a lot of the way the the chapters or you can call them that are written uh chat explain

00:02:09.740 to the people your problem with peloton bikes please well you know there's a lot of things that are

00:02:16.080 there but it's it's and it's not a problem per se it's just this culture that we've embraced

00:02:20.960 of uh like you know you don't have to get out anymore you don't have to breathe fresh air you

00:02:25.860 don't have to do anything you know the world has been brought to us right it's virtual and like you

00:02:30.580 know you you pay like what three thousand four thousand dollars for this bike to enter into this

00:02:35.260 virtual world right i mean you people ask how much people pay for fitness like i probably have

00:02:42.160 like four gym memberships right now i don't go to the gym i i don't like i don't do any of this stuff

00:02:47.220 but like we've been told that we don't even have to leave our house anymore uh and so obviously the

00:02:52.580 pandemic thing and the quarantines and the shutdowns and the mandates that came along that exacerbated

00:02:57.640 the problem even more uh you know a couple weeks ago whenever facebook was down for seven or eight

00:03:02.800 hours uh on you know that particular monday i thought you know what i'm gonna do i'm gonna go out

00:03:07.900 and see human beings like i'm gonna go visit with people so i went into a store and i was like man

00:03:13.360 people aren't even social anymore they're so used to interacting with through the world with through

00:03:18.160 a screen right and now you've added the masks that people wear everywhere and so so people don't even

00:03:24.660 know how to interact socially have a conversation uh be be congenial be kind uh it's really weird and so

00:03:32.460 this whole phenomenon that we've entered into where we relate to the world through a screen

00:03:36.760 yeah it's become a point where sometimes people don't even realize that uh you can't even see

00:03:43.500 each other's face you go to smile or something at somebody and it's just your eyebrows moving and

00:03:47.480 you're just like i can't tell what this person's saying um something i saw something i saw you talk

00:03:51.960 about with colin kaepernick and this hits me very close to home as a football fan and as a person who

00:03:57.360 doesn't like liars um his netflix documentary among other things compares the nfl draft to slavery 0.50

00:04:03.740 which is fantastic of course and i want to show some of the truly moronic imagery he put in there

00:04:09.160 and i want to get your thoughts so can we go ahead and play that please what they don't want you to

00:04:13.060 understand is what's being established is a power dynamic

00:04:17.940 before they put you on the field teams poke pride and examine you searching for any defect

00:04:32.980 that might affect your performance no boundary respected no dignity

00:04:38.400 left intact

00:04:39.820 look at that shape there look at this

00:04:53.740 i don't even know where to begin with that chad what's your initial reaction to this

00:05:13.500 well first of all they they kind of take for granted that white people

00:05:17.480 uh and samoan people and and you know i guess there's maybe some asian players out there somewhere

00:05:23.740 i don't know but you know there's not a race specific sport you know the league minimum in

00:05:29.820 salary i think is about four hundred and eighty thousand dollars annually uh so it's not like

00:05:35.640 these people are being bought and sold and mistreated you know the nfl and professional sports in

00:05:41.240 particular is a is a is a they invest a lot of money they invest a lot of money to you know make 0.97

00:05:47.800 their teams competitive uh to compare it to slavery is is asinine for one the hypocrisy of it is just 1.00

00:05:55.560 it just absolutely ravages the mind uh and makes you think that i must really be crazy for stupid 0.99

00:06:02.640 to absorb this problem you know here's a guy colin kaepernick somebody sent me a message on twitter 0.99

00:06:09.160 the other day and said what's your problem with kaepernick they said you know he was fighting

00:06:13.100 police brutality i was like okay if you believe that colin kaepernick was only about fighting

00:06:17.940 police brutality i got a bridge uh this guy who you know what 20 million dollars off of nike

00:06:25.040 you know he markets a pair of shoes that are like 125 dollars a pair who in the world is going

00:06:31.980 out and buying those nike shoes it's certainly not impoverished inner city kids uh that you know

00:06:37.400 according to him have the highest uh chance of being abused and brutalized by the police uh no

00:06:44.760 this is a money right this is when you this is when you elevate victimhood to a place of prominence

00:06:51.560 almost to deifying it and and it makes money with the victimhood you know i keep telling people i said

00:06:59.720 if you don't really have pain and we don't have a lot of pain i mean people go through personal

00:07:04.640 struggles and they have their certain journey we don't have a lot of pain in a very comfortable

00:07:10.100 21st century america so you have to manufacture that pain and oppression and persecution and that's

00:07:15.860 exactly what he's profiting off of he is made he's creating a persecution that doesn't exist i mean

00:07:21.520 to compare these multi-million dollar athletes their multi-million dollar endorsements uh the

00:07:27.600 lavish lifestyle they lead just by simply being able to throw and catch a ball uh with slavery in

00:07:36.320 you know 19th century america it's absolute insanity that's the reason i wrote a book about that

00:07:43.340 the problem i see with a lot of it is people act as if kaepernick didn't make an like an actual

00:07:49.560 statement when he started this a few years ago about what he meant people try to make excuses for his

00:07:54.940 his kneeling when he literally said it's because of oppression from the government through the police

00:08:00.220 on people of color as he puts it and then he came out with his pig socks and his communist t-shirts

00:08:06.080 and he didn't really make any other statements after that he begged to be on football teams they

00:08:10.540 tried to get him on jay-z tried to get him on a team and he scoffed them off he changed his practice

00:08:15.500 if you remember he was supposed to do in front of scouts then he changed the location to a high school

00:08:19.440 last minute it's all a show for him do you think anybody is getting their minds changed by

00:08:24.540 colin kaepner because they're saying maybe maybe this is slavery in the nfl combine maybe the

00:08:29.640 jumping thing is a form of slavery you know um i'll tell you whose mind it influences it's the

00:08:37.840 people out there specifically the ones that i've witnessed who take part in say like blm parades

00:08:44.820 or protests it's you know i was i was uh at one city uh last year blm protest was happening

00:08:52.840 they marched several hundred people marched down the street i think i saw two black people

00:08:57.780 the entire thing out of the hundreds i think i saw two black people total these are people that

00:09:03.400 for the people a lot of white guilt like they feel this need to flagellate themselves to make up for

00:09:10.000 the sins and scars of america you know when you have this idea that america was founded with the

00:09:15.580 declaration of independence 1776 but when the first slave or indentured servant stepped off the boat in

00:09:21.480 jamestown virginia night uh this is the insanity and the revisionists of history are having a

00:09:27.740 heyday with this creating this sense of victimhood that continues to promote this kind of

00:09:32.920 and so again to the degree that you can elevate your perceived sense of manufactured oppression

00:09:39.640 you can make money off of that with jesse jackson al sharp and they've done this thing for

00:09:44.120 generations now uh with no end in sight various other lawmakers like cori bush um you know

00:09:51.400 all of this you're victimized they're not there paul and kaepernick is the list of anyone i mean

00:10:01.020 you want to talk about winning the lottery in life you know not only could be born but his black parents

00:10:08.640 didn't want him so white family adopts him raises him up gives him a great education gives him all

00:10:15.400 the opportunities he winds up in the nfl he's a percentage of a percentage percentage i mean he won

00:10:21.120 the lottery in life this man's not oppressed at all you want to use your platform to speak out

00:10:25.620 against oppression and injustice i'm for that but that's not simply what colin kaepernick's about

00:10:31.180 and anybody with half a brain knows that another thing that happened at a football field

00:10:36.340 i want to transition to that i saw on your twitter actually and so i wanted to ask you about it

00:10:40.720 this vermont high school had a drag show at a halftime uh event a halftime show drag show i guess

00:10:46.600 during a high school football game raises a lot of questions for me uh let's go ahead and show

00:10:50.960 everybody what we're talking about if they haven't seen it please producer a first of its kind

00:10:54.340 halftime show for the burlington high school homecoming football game a drag ball hosted by the

00:10:59.780 gay street alliance club to include the lgbtq community um in a sport that has traditionally been

00:11:05.100 very masculine it's really good for us to be able to add um kind of a gender bending aspect to that

00:11:10.620 bhs students along with students from south burlington and winooski creating their own persona

00:11:15.360 that first guy looked like vladimir putin i don't know if anybody noticed that

00:11:19.000 but uh chad to ask both sides here children or teenagers showing their sides of themselves

00:11:26.040 expressing themselves or inappropriate and over sexualized what's your take

00:11:30.320 well we definitely live in a society today and a culture which is hyper sexualizing our

00:11:36.560 children we're seeing that i always encourage people if you have any opportunity whatsoever

00:11:40.800 if you can't do it right now at least pull your kids out of the public school system they are

00:11:45.840 indoctrinating uh brainwashing institutions that are after the minds and hearts of your children

00:11:50.640 you know hitler said give them to me when they are done i will have them forever

00:11:54.020 uh and we see that happening in this humanistic doing in man system of social socialist uh education

00:12:01.040 here now we're hyper sexualizing everything uh and you know there's obvious obvious problems

00:12:08.260 with having a drag show at a halftime uh high school football game but my thing is look

00:12:14.160 for the gay community out there and i'm not going to speak for them but i i ask a legitimate question

00:12:21.860 does this does this truly represent the lgbtq whatever uh community that's out there by having

00:12:30.820 a flamboyant deal i mean this isn't a pride parade to best hollywood california this is a

00:12:35.420 high school in vermont right and the the community of lgbtq i don't think that it does i don't think by

00:12:43.660 and large this is representative so to me it's a it's more objectifying it's almost like saying you

00:12:49.140 know what we're going to do we're going to celebrate femininity so we're just going to make 0.89

00:12:53.160 everybody all the girls are going to wear bikinis and dress up like victoria's secret models and 0.99

00:12:57.880 we're going to drop them out there we're going to say this is this is women 1.00

00:13:01.920 women to me that's objectifying women right and i think it's the same way with with you know the gay 1.00

00:13:10.160 trans lesbian bi community whatever you know this big long list alphabet people as i like to call

00:13:15.040 you know we want to keep doing this but in my in my opinion it's not only hyper sexualizing

00:13:21.080 children and exposing them to things that are very very dangerous just like the other day in orange

00:13:25.320 county california or sorry in uh orange florida you know they took a group of elementary schools

00:13:31.240 and they've done this apparently for the last 10 years to a gay bar gay restaurant uh as a civics

00:13:37.040 lesson you know that's their field trip this kind of stuff doesn't make sense to me and uh parents who

00:13:42.320 approve of it you know really should have their head examined because it's going to lead down a path

00:13:48.140 to a conclusion that you're really not going to like when it comes to fruition yeah my opinion is

00:13:54.160 that the idea what they're dancing around here is that drag shows are inherently sexual and that's 0.67

00:13:59.480 what i want to say which you sort of mentioned that if you had a bunch of teenage girls in high

00:14:03.280 school doing a twerking contest on the field i'm pretty sure the parents would have a problem with

00:14:07.800 that but it's like it's because it's boys and they're lgbtq plus 2 aa star asterix it's supposed

00:14:14.680 to be fine and what i wanted to ask you was the men they show the coach there he says he's it's great

00:14:20.500 we've got allyship and all this stuff what do you think is the motivating factor for adults assumingly

00:14:25.660 at least 40 year old plus to willingly go against their inherent logic and indoctrinate yourself

00:14:31.680 willingly into this sort of doctrine well this is what happens when the woke mob takes over and it's

00:14:38.920 almost like you're collecting brownie points you know you know being woke in in a social justice

00:14:44.540 warrior it's not like you're collecting social currency that you can spend at any time because

00:14:49.520 you're showing how open you are to everything and and how open-minded you know you're so open-minded

00:14:56.320 that your brains are falling out look we had uh hazard kentucky the other day uh kentucky of all 0.50

00:15:03.260 places they had uh boys who came out at a pep rally dressed like uh females provocatively and they 0.97

00:15:11.320 were lap dancing on the mayor full and the teachers the coaches you know this kind of thing and look

00:15:18.920 heads are going to roll over that but you wonder how much of this stuff is going on out there that's

00:15:23.700 not being exposed by the media they're not pointing it out it's it's very dangerous how we're playing

00:15:29.800 with this you know the prefrontal cortex of a teenager is not developed and it's not until about

00:15:35.060 the age of 25 you know as the late great laruck limbaugh used to say their heads are full of much

00:15:40.880 right so we've got to be careful with what we're allowing into the mind and heart to the next generation 0.69

00:15:46.460 we know that the woke mob wants to do this they want they want to take over a whole generation

00:15:52.000 uh the norm because they're attacking the the paradigm that is the greater uh worldview that's

00:15:58.900 out there look you know by and large people are going to be uh statistically heterosexual they're

00:16:05.160 going to be statistically traditional in their values in many ways and and you know they're going

00:16:10.460 to base you know their belief system off of things in a way that they're raised they're really trying

00:16:15.140 to destroy our value system that's out there and i tell people all the time i'm a white heterosexual

00:16:21.380 christian male that burns up the ozone with a diesel truck as a dog in the back seat goes to the 0.95

00:16:27.060 cowboy hat so to the left and the progressives i'm public enemy number one i'm the problem if you

00:16:33.480 go on twitter and read anything on my profile so to that i say let's remain unapologetic hold on to

00:16:39.780 your values you know we saw what happened in the election yesterday in virginia you know people are

00:16:44.920 tired of radicalism being crammed down their throat they really are sick of it and americans i believe

00:16:50.240 are truly starting to wake up to the nonsense yeah and you mentioned virginia i want to talk about

00:16:56.720 that big uh elections this week and of course young can won his race up against what i see is some

00:17:03.260 really weird and gross tactics so i want to show people the little thing the lincoln project did this

00:17:09.720 democrat fundraising group where they staged basically a bunch of white supremacists supporting

00:17:15.400 the now governor can we play that election day is tuesday all eyes are on the tight virginia

00:17:20.060 governor's race and in the 11th hour the lincoln project added tiki torches to the mix but will they

00:17:25.920 burn the candidate they were trying to help on friday the anti-trump group the lincoln project sent

00:17:31.320 people holding tiki torches to a campaign event for the republican candidate glenn youngkin the men

00:17:36.500 reportedly approached youngkin's bus saying we're all in for glenn in a statement the lincoln project said

00:17:42.300 today's demonstration was our way of reminding virginians what happened in charlottesville four

00:17:47.140 years ago the republican party's embrace of those values and glenn youngkin's failure to condemn it

00:17:52.720 if he will denounce trump's assertion that the charlottesville rioters possessed very fine qualities

00:17:58.000 will withdraw the tiki torches until then we'll be back mcauliffe's campaign condemned the stunt

00:18:04.240 and the virginia showed up at a youngkin event posing as charlottesville protesters a group you're

00:18:11.800 with the lincoln project own that it was them that they pose this way because they wanted people to

00:18:17.200 remember uh you're getting crushed by people on the right uh as a dirty tactic do you stand behind

00:18:23.280 what was done and is that being what you guys say you oppose um no listen every day uh i hear people

00:18:31.320 pleading with the lincoln project to help show democrats how to win how to play hardball um

00:18:37.020 you know this is an example the question here is it's not about some guys who showed up at a rally

00:18:44.200 it's why hasn't glenn youngkin denounced donald trump for saying that there were good people on both sides

00:18:50.880 so we get caught staging white supremacists and saying we're all in for youngkin they get caught

00:18:57.300 showing that it's operatives who work for that uh democratic party there in virginia no apology no

00:19:02.780 we're sorry we shouldn't have done that it's why hasn't trump denounced this or why hasn't he denounced

00:19:07.100 trump saying something in 2017 which isn't actually what he said if you have the internet you can go

00:19:11.360 check but he needs to denounce this thing that everybody knows is a lie anyways chat is there going

00:19:16.960 to be any uh democrat organization who actually has some accountability for their losses or anything that

00:19:22.660 people seem to disagree with which in virginia with stuff like critical race theory uh transgenders in

00:19:29.000 in girls bathrooms there was a rape case there is there going to be any accountability coming in 0.95

00:19:33.620 anytime soon you know unfortunately they keep doubling down i first let me just also say it's

00:19:40.160 interesting to me that you cast a black kid as a white supremacist in that little stage

00:19:44.840 uh always fascinating he's internalized it i mean you know i guess so uh you know it's like uh

00:19:52.240 clayton bigsby you know the old dave chapelle yeah a member but he's blind and didn't know he was black

00:19:58.880 right uh kind of funny when they do stuff like that but it's not funny and uh you know it's interesting

00:20:05.520 you have msnbc last night in the in the race as the election results were coming out and the ballots

00:20:11.780 were coming in um they were uh you know they still wanted to bring up the fact that they said well

00:20:17.900 you know remember the fact that donald trump called mexicans you know racist or i'm sorry murderers and

00:20:23.820 rapists and it's like that's not what he said he was talking about ms 13 gang members and you know

00:20:29.040 they portray this stuff because the further away from it you get the more you can continue that

00:20:33.760 narrative like saying um you know they were good people on both sides if you read the full context of

00:20:40.300 what donald trump said in that press conference it's not what he was saying you got to take it

00:20:44.700 all in there and so you know it's the whole thing you know a text without a context is a pretext right

00:20:50.340 and you're going to come to it with your own preconceived notions and the further you get away

00:20:54.260 from an event you can just keep spinning that line people don't really remember it's kind of hazy

00:20:58.600 it's like yeah you know i kind of do remember trump saying something like that and so you can keep

00:21:02.340 spinning this narrative way out of control that's why i keep encouraging people not only be

00:21:07.260 unapologetic but arm yourself with truth and common sense because when you build a house of cards on a

00:21:13.080 bad fault line and philosophically and logically uh there's nothing really holding their argument

00:21:18.520 narrative up a little breath of common sense sometimes it causes that thing to tumble and fall

00:21:23.680 in on itself and we see over and over again like uh terry mccullough's candidacy it it you give it you

00:21:31.600 know you give it enough room and it will wreck itself yeah for sure last question here chad

00:21:37.120 what do you think lessons what do you think what kind of lessons can they take from this election

00:21:42.300 victory you saw um even the uh the attorney general victory and a few other ones a mayoral ship

00:21:48.260 in upstate new york what kind of lessons can conservatives or republicans or the lot take

00:21:52.900 from this election that just happened which was seemingly coming out of nowhere you know they're in

00:21:57.600 trouble when they bring obama out to campaign so maybe they knew something was coming but what kind

00:22:01.800 of takeaways can they take from a victory like this if you're a conservative party

00:22:05.760 well there's two right off the top of my head one as i alluded to earlier americans conservatives

00:22:11.900 patriots they're waking up and they're uh that uh one you don't mess with our kids you know when

00:22:18.280 merrick garland calls parents domestic terrorists uh when this lap racist situation happens uh you

00:22:25.480 don't mess with our kids his school boards these city councils all these things uh you poke that bear

00:22:30.740 long enough if you realize the silent majority doesn't stay silent for long the other thing that

00:22:35.600 i remind people from this just in the last few hours uh since this election now is that the

00:22:41.660 establishment republican party in my opinion is dead it's dead we need to stop trying to wake that

00:22:48.740 beast up it's dead uh it's just as bad as the democrat party uh forget the extremists i'm talking

00:22:55.400 about the establishment the establishment is dead we're seeing people that are spending less money

00:23:00.640 to get elected we're seeing people who are telling the truth being honest not pandering to political

00:23:06.540 party lines and they're winning elections because they're patriots and they're coming out here they

00:23:11.800 believe in getting the government out of our life and uh letting people live and be free and people

00:23:17.720 they're waking up to that message and the spirit of 1776 is quite alive in america today i truly believe

00:23:25.140 that and as my friend matt brevner told me today you can't eat social justice you can't eat rainbows

00:23:31.140 and stuff like that it doesn't put food on the table chad prather the chad prather show

00:23:35.500 blaze tv am i crazy the book it's hilarious chad this format i think it's it's kind of revolutionary i'm

00:23:42.060 i enjoy it it's just like better than tweets on paper i don't know it's something about it that i like

00:23:47.420 thanks a lot for joining me uh have a great time down there i know that you're doing the right

00:23:52.000 thing i like your content keep up the good work please thanks for coming on thanks brother
