Rebel News Podcast - ANDREW CHAPADOS ｜ From Switzerland With Love ｜ Avi Yemini & Lewis Brackpool

00:00:00.000 welcome back to another episode of andrew says a very special couple of guests today the ones

00:00:11.260 that love me the most lewis brackpool and avi amini how are you guys where are you guys

00:00:15.160 very well absolutely love you brother

00:00:18.400 we're in love we're an hour from davos in la punta i don't know if that's how you pronounce

00:00:27.920 sounds very hispanic i want to get right into it with you guys avi this these videos of you walking

00:00:34.720 up to officials they're going really viral viral um are they are these government officials taken

00:00:40.760 off guard are they expecting to be interviewed like this because like i don't think before this

00:00:45.080 year people really showed up to the world economic forum in this way are they easily approachable are

00:00:50.880 they caught off guard we've seen a bit of it how does it feel to you oh the the best thing about

00:00:56.480 um the wef at the moment the only good thing is that they all wear their names on their chest

00:01:02.420 and and um and their class it's all color coded so if somebody's important they got like a white

00:01:09.060 um with blue name tag and then it says who they are and where they're from and you just um

00:01:15.840 all you gotta do is google it or have somebody google it and and then you quickly realize who

00:01:22.260 who you've got so you can yeah and they're not ready at all they're taken totally off guard

00:01:26.320 although today i think the word has gotten around because i think when we were standing there

00:01:30.640 um as they walked past us they would cover their um their ids which was a slightly offensive as a person

00:01:39.820 yeah i mean this video that we saw today i think our time is you asking this indian minister

00:01:47.940 questions on the street and he basically says that klaus schwab i think i have the quote here

00:01:53.260 somewhere he rules the capitalists of the world do you think that guy knew what he was saying like

00:01:58.120 that's pretty huge for him to just say that oh he didn't even have a problem with you quoting

00:02:01.920 back to him that he said klaus schwab rules the capitalists of the world he said no i've known

00:02:06.080 him for longer don't you realize that how you doing sir how you doing i'm doing well why are

00:02:11.640 you here in the wf why am i here it's a great place to meet people to uh tell them about what's

00:02:19.160 happening in india to transact business and do a host of other things listen there's so many indian

00:02:26.240 states here why are they competing on this one street not competing they're showing you the diversity

00:02:31.660 of india they're showing you what different states can do i can almost believe you're a politician

00:02:36.600 i'm the minister so now that's why i support all of them do you think we should change it from

00:02:43.420 world economic forum to maybe indian economic forum there's no you don't need to do that you don't

00:02:49.100 need to do that i've been associated with the organization since it was called a european

00:02:54.720 management forum so i told mr klaus schwab then if you have to woo the capitalists of the world

00:03:00.560 go beyond the european ones go and get the americans also and get the other so i'm very happy they're

00:03:06.460 doing well so you're the reason why klaus schwab is ruling the world i'm not the reason i'm just

00:03:11.680 somebody who's been interacting with him since the 80s but you have fun my friend i think to be fair

00:03:17.000 i misheard him i think he may have said woo i got corrected on twitter he may have said woo and i

00:03:23.940 couldn't understand his accent but when i said back to him rule he just went with it and he which

00:03:29.920 which is almost the same thing i i guess if you break down what he's saying that they think it's

00:03:34.660 normal but they're so they live in their own little safe space little bubble where they think

00:03:41.520 it's a compliment when you say they rule the world like true james bond villain a nice quote from

00:03:50.040 the old bond villain himself klaus schwab we must build a world that works for progress people and

00:03:57.980 the planet but you remember the the quote you'll own nothing and be happy you'll own nothing they'll

00:04:04.640 be all right so hanwa as well i've not heard of hanwa i'll be honest with you it says sustainable

00:04:10.920 solutions for earth for life of course something to do with climate change absolutely obsessed with it

00:04:16.820 bringing planet and profit together this is eco-nomics it's just it's almost sickly that's a lot of

00:04:29.900 co2 emissions eh quite clearly they care taxi on idle of course it is value added creation and

00:04:39.240 collaboration for sustainable development of course because we all know about agenda 2030

00:04:44.240 it's funny because all this talk about climate change and wanting to reduce to net zero and look

00:04:52.320 at this we've got mercedes-benz we've got military vehicles once again coming by as well hello he looks

00:05:00.600 happy obviously he's getting paid well and we just nearly got hit by one of these mercedes lots of parked

00:05:05.880 cars as well just stationed all around can you see all this all around of course they care so much for

00:05:14.000 the environment of course they do i mean that's not good for the environment so you know his social

00:05:20.440 credit score system will go down lewis i watched your video where you're first of all i think so in

00:05:27.780 your element they're walking around using british humor on everything that you see in the streets

00:05:32.020 but you walk around pointing out the signs the the military vehicles and all the cars it kind of

00:05:37.460 reminds me like it seems like it's at a carnival or something they're promoting quotes from their leader

00:05:41.980 and on some weird dystopian level they like avi says they think it's okay they think it's normal

00:05:48.580 what's your feel on the ground there and i've heard avi say like it looks like a pop-up shop for

00:05:54.360 for elites what's your feel on the ground there being just inundated with contradictory messages

00:05:59.900 the environment must be saved here's your 1950s military truck yeah i mean i'm glad i'm back at the

00:06:07.560 hotel if i'm totally honest it's uh it's nauseating because it's just all this corporate strip the way

00:06:14.140 i explain it is imagine you go away with uh your your good friends like you say go go on a lad's

00:06:20.020 holiday right and you go to the main strip with all the bars and all the clubs and all of that

00:06:24.840 um imagine that but it's for the world leaders and it's not bars and clubs it's just pop-up

00:06:31.140 corporations that are all circle jerking each other essentially and uh it's it's just intense

00:06:37.880 it's nauseating it's dystopian um i think you obviously saw the clip where uh the guy the the

00:06:44.720 events manager for intel uh basically ran off after i started to ask about censorship uh on the internet

00:06:51.580 and and then you pan around and you see i don't know who she was but she was getting photos in front of

00:06:58.660 like a a billboard with the world economic forum and intel just promoting it so it's just this

00:07:05.520 strange nauseating sort of celebrity like culture but uh with global leaders and entertainers from

00:07:14.500 around the world gathering together and just um yeah just complimenting each other now when you intel

00:07:22.020 the technology the world builds on and you can see the world economic forum right here

00:07:27.980 right here hello hi how are you doing i am great thank you for intel i work for intel i'm the event

00:07:36.620 manager interesting okay can you ask me first what so i'm with rebel news uh we're going around we're

00:07:42.680 doing a tour and showing people what this looks like basically from back at home uh it's interesting

00:07:47.320 with intel um because there's a lot of talk about we're not recording right we are yes um so there's

00:07:53.740 a lot of things about intel with um censorship and things like that give me one second yeah sure

00:07:59.080 what do you need i think i'm gonna get one colleague okay yeah sure if you like and it's almost like

00:08:04.720 a celebrity styled thing where you've got cameras and people obviously posing between

00:08:11.320 different billboards and promoting various companies the guys run off you guys are on the ground there

00:08:22.300 are there any government officials asking questions any police do you want to shed any light on that

00:08:27.840 incident that was going around about jack posobiec being detained have you seen anybody else be detained

00:08:32.640 what's the general reception there for journalists we're about to put out something special tonight

00:08:40.000 which kind of clarifies and sets the record straight to be fair the police have been pretty

00:08:46.880 nice to us and they've been joking around they've been like we've had some great interactions with them

00:08:52.660 besides for one interaction with savannah which is going to be part of this package tonight

00:08:58.880 which clarifies and and sets the record straight in on all of that um including some um i guess

00:09:06.480 uh accidental footage we caught when we were driving of a conversation with police so um

00:09:12.640 watch his face and we'll get to that i don't we haven't been questioned and i've been in their face

00:09:20.860 to be fair i think i've just been taught like i've interviewed one of them and they were joking around

00:09:26.640 with me so i think um uh we've had it lucky i don't know if jack because he was on the wef um hit list

00:09:35.600 maybe they targeted him but we we didn't see what happened first we don't know the reason all we know

00:09:41.380 is what jack said um he was and and and that he was detained for about half an hour and let go

00:09:48.200 and nothing further so um i don't know i can't speak to what what set that off all i can tell you

00:09:57.960 is our experience has been aside for what happened with savannah today in response to that um has been

00:10:05.960 generally pretty good in fact there's a there's that aussie that won't be that won't be in the package

00:10:11.580 but there was an aussie guard uh an aussie policeman at the checkpoint for a couple days in a row who's

00:10:17.000 just leaned up against the car and get a mate how you going it's like talking about didgeridoo's you

00:10:22.300 know yeah it was pretty good until today i guess after what happened with jack they photographed our

00:10:28.780 oh yeah and that's all going to be in the in the package tonight so watch your space all right so

00:10:36.120 through the magic of television we'll insert that video right now talk to me about what i lied about

00:10:41.240 no i can't talk about this i just tell you the truth well what's the truth i would love to

00:10:46.820 correct the record you know a family member we can give you information about that but what was

00:10:51.740 the lie tell me the lie so i can correct the record it was just a control

00:10:55.420 i've been here with savannah hernandez here in davos for the davos we're in davos switzerland

00:11:04.900 but today's video what we're doing is we're here to set the record straight about the entire story

00:11:11.360 but also because today there have been some interesting fact checks from the mainstream

00:11:17.020 media and we had the lowdown savannah tell me let's start from the beginning what happened

00:11:23.480 two days ago so i was told that or i saw on twitter that jack pisovic was being detained by

00:11:29.360 the swiss police and when i walked up i saw the scene he was being surrounded and i went up and i

00:11:34.780 asked them myself because as a journalist i wanted to get the facts directly from police i would like to

00:11:38.780 know why this journalist is being detained on public property what's detained uh can you explain

00:11:44.480 how come he's being surrounded right now is he allowed to leave the area we're we're just um making

00:11:50.020 a normal police control i spoke to jipasovic as well and he was pointing out the patches

00:11:54.760 on the police's arm that said world economic forum police and then that entire story you know many

00:12:01.200 people started questioning what that meant so today when we were driving in as we do every day here

00:12:07.260 um we had our 360 dash cam going basically to record the entire trip and we actually captured on

00:12:16.580 camera speaking to the police asking them about that patch can i ask you something you know the

00:12:21.200 police in there that have the wef patch yeah are they is are they actually wef police or is it just

00:12:29.860 um is it just that they're police that are wearing a patch no it's just police ah so what's that patch

00:12:35.180 just for fun yeah to be honest yeah i have this patch as well oh dude why are you not wearing it

00:12:43.420 uh because i don't have to ah so so whoever wants to wear it can wear it sorry so whoever wants to

00:12:50.400 wear it can wear it it's not really there are some who have to oh you have one it's so weird because

00:12:56.820 the media today put said that it's not real that it's just i know i've seen it yeah but yeah

00:13:02.280 it's it's why are they playing dress-ups i want to know that sorry why are they playing dress-ups for

00:13:09.400 the wef yeah from uh police uh tactics and so i'm not allowed to tell you oh you don't know okay okay

00:13:17.740 if you don't wear your wef patch can i have it no i had to buy oh what claus schwab didn't pay for

00:13:34.820 it you had to pay for it yeah what like uh from their pay it's like a uniform you know it's it's not

00:13:41.340 officially uniform for us okay some people all right you're so confusing like a souvenir oh like

00:13:49.080 you like annual but you said some of them have to wear it and they have to wear a souvenir and they

00:13:52.960 have to pay for it no we had you no you had to pay for it because claus schwab doesn't have enough

00:13:58.460 money i will talk to him for you yeah talk to him thank you see you brother my experience since being

00:14:07.000 here police have been super friendly super nice do you have a message for australia for australia

00:14:12.620 well beautiful country and enjoy davos keep this place safe i think there's many uh criminals around

00:14:20.640 the police so far have been very friendly i actually except for this one um i guess uh interaction i had

00:14:28.880 earlier today i was walking past and this plain clothed police officer said savannah you're famous here

00:14:33.520 switzerland and i said oh how do you know me and he said you lied you said somebody was arrested

00:14:38.620 please let me correct the record what did i lie about i don't say you lie i said you say you're

00:14:44.820 famous and i say hello i never said anybody was arrested i said that they were detained which is

00:14:49.800 completely different can you talk to me about what i lied about so i can erect the rest i just tell you

00:14:54.900 and that's the issue is that these fact checks don't even bring in the alternate angle of why americans

00:15:00.500 or why the world especially was so upset about these patches initially that's important as well

00:15:05.560 because when you don't have that context it just makes everyone look crazy like we're just creating

00:15:09.540 conspiracy theory out of nothing for no reason but there is context there's both sides there's

00:15:14.220 multiple angles to every single story including this one and that's what we're here to do we're here

00:15:18.880 to present the entire stories definitely go to wefreports.com to keep up with all of our reporting

00:15:24.980 because again so much is happening avi and you know there's six of us here and we've covered as

00:15:30.060 much as we could including this so thank you guys so much for watching louis i want to get your maybe

00:15:34.760 more existentially from you um how do you think that they move forward with this and i mean the wef

00:15:40.320 obviously they see how much attention has been on them in the last year do you think they continuously

00:15:45.340 move forward with this plan and they don't care about anything they don't care about the coverage or

00:15:49.620 the criticism or do you think that this now may have become this like facade hey we know

00:15:54.020 everybody's got eyes on this let's plan somewhere else or something somewhere else what do you have

00:15:58.820 you thought about that well this year uh well this year's summit is all about regaining trust

00:16:04.920 now you've got a question why do they need to regain trust so that's the main reason so if you if you

00:16:12.420 break that down you realize that actually a lot of people don't trust these people um and they don't

00:16:17.940 want this dystopian future that they keep uh accelerating towards um so it's hard to say

00:16:25.940 whether this is going to carry on the way it is but let me tell you something if they do another

00:16:31.140 summit there's going to be i think i reckon more independent journalists are going to be turning up

00:16:35.760 because a lot more people are starting to wake up to all this nonsense especially um with stuff like

00:16:41.840 the great reset and everything that entails from that and you know klaus schwab's book and everything

00:16:47.280 that he writes in that um so this acceleration i don't know if personally i think it's not going

00:16:54.640 to last for much longer um because of the theme from this year because it's all about regaining trust

00:17:02.400 and you've just got to question that louis your documentary or series the great reset is doing very

00:17:08.300 well like to congratulate you on that do you think this is the perfect time to be talking about this

00:17:13.180 stuff and the perfect time to be trying to tell people what this is all about and how it seems to

00:17:19.100 me like their governments are being manipulated by giant multinational corporations who want them to

00:17:24.360 the government to benefit them in some way oh yeah and the timing on releasing the the documentary

00:17:30.140 has been absolutely perfect i mean the day before i flew out here and then started reporting

00:17:34.000 so i've been getting brilliant comments about it i've not seen any bad reviews which is really good

00:17:39.640 um so yeah and thank you um for for that it's over at expose the reset.com uh so anyone who hasn't

00:17:46.840 seen that can uh can follow the link there and watch the first episode um but we're we've got lots

00:17:52.680 planned there's still many more episodes to come uh because there is so much information to

00:17:58.320 sort of squeeze into video format that you we just need to separate it between episodes but um

00:18:06.040 yeah i'm excited it's well i say excited it's it's a horrible subject and it's very blackpilling but um

00:18:13.220 yeah we'll see where it goes and hopefully more people will wake up avi i think people would want me

00:18:19.300 to ask you about australia in relation to the who right now what can you tell us about what's going

00:18:25.280 on in australia because the time zone difference it's very hard for people to to keep on top of

00:18:30.680 things in the western hemisphere what's going on with this who and australia agreeing to some sort of

00:18:37.080 you know deal where the who has power if there's any sort of pandemic can you shed light on that

00:18:42.020 i i don't actually know at the moment because australia is just uh well there's a new government

00:18:49.060 that's been sworn in the last couple of days um a left-wing labor government has just won the

00:18:56.240 election and there's still i think there's still uh counting the preferences for some of the senate

00:19:03.060 senate seats to see where this balance power really sits so we don't know and i do fear that um this

00:19:11.860 who pandemic treaty is something that the australian government will rush to sign up to hence

00:19:18.000 a labor government it's saying you know it's the labor government that locked down victorians it's

00:19:24.020 a labor government that locked down western australians i think uh australia is a scary thought at the

00:19:31.880 moment and um we'll just have to watch that space just a couple more questions before i let you guys go

00:19:38.880 wefreports.com one of the bigger statements that people listened to in the last couple days was

00:19:44.660 somebody saying that they want to recalibrate free speech what do you guys what do you each of you

00:19:49.840 think that means well that we are finding ourselves in a place um where we're we have increasing

00:19:56.380 polarization everywhere and everything feels binary when it doesn't need to be so i think we're going

00:20:02.680 to have to think about a recalibration of a whole range of human rights that are playing out online you

00:20:07.240 know from freedom of speech to the freedom to you know to be free from online violence or the right

00:20:14.680 of data protection to the right to child dignity that's the australian e-safety commissioner there

00:20:20.780 you go um and yeah so what does that mean that means they want to impose censorship on anything

00:20:28.300 that doesn't suit the official australian government narrative and that is a bloody scary thought

00:20:34.300 especially now that there is a left-wing labor government as bad as the last government was

00:20:39.160 and as bad as the uh ideas that the that the uh previous government was bringing forward with

00:20:44.680 in the in the censorship space in the online space this is horrific to hear a government official

00:20:53.560 especially from my country publicly on a platform at the world economic forum so such an international

00:21:01.080 platform just openly call for a ministry of truth with the backing of some sort of of the sort of

00:21:09.040 government that they have in australia um i hope it's rejected far and wide and we'll certainly make

00:21:16.060 a lot of noise about it because um at the end of the day we're at the top of their list

00:21:20.820 and i feel bad for avi when he when he gets home really to that government um but uh it's not just

00:21:29.240 happening in australia it's happening throughout the west you know as you know the uk is is just

00:21:34.380 um shot to bits in terms of free speech so it wouldn't surprise me if something like that

00:21:39.960 was was heading over here in the uk we've kind of already there with the uh the online safety bill

00:21:45.360 that will be coming out uh pretty soon i haven't read an update on it but um it basically sounds

00:21:50.740 like a similar thing um i don't know it's a scary time it's a scary time for free speech i think

00:21:57.100 um and it's i don't know when it happened but how come more free speech is now considered a threat

00:22:04.140 to democracy i don't know when did that happen um so you know there's a lot of questions to be asked

00:22:09.720 and i'm sure um not only avi but myself and many others are going to be speaking out about uh this

00:22:15.540 sort of thing when um when it comes around 2016 is when i think that happened lewis last uh last bit

00:22:21.820 for you guys what are you guys eating there everybody wants to know pizza pizza it's actually an

00:22:30.460 interesting fact is where we are now is um we're in a section that's kind of between two borders of the

00:22:37.840 to of italy and then at the top i think is is austria so all the food here that's edible is is italian

00:22:45.700 and then when you go down to davos then there's um some german kind of food that's that's decent

00:22:52.020 um we've been i'm fat all right last question my most important question how are you guys

00:23:00.740 understanding each other you've got two british people two aussies an american from the south

00:23:06.900 and then an american from somewhere else americans we're literally just hating on the americans

00:23:12.280 and rookshan we're hating on rookshan especially the americans he's been bullying rookshan

00:23:17.240 but i do that i do that on cameras it's the same so the american is what you get in real life

00:23:23.800 so the americans can't understand you guys is that what i'm hearing
