00:08:21.860 quote panicked worried and bruised it seems that he's backed into a corner here and

00:08:26.460 he's ready to lash out I mean I feel like it's pretty obvious I mean he did

00:08:30.840 literally hide yeah like literally he was in hiding for a majority of the convoy so

00:09:09.460 reporters to condemn the truckers and call them racist xenophobes and terrorists of

00:09:14.120 course um which is fascinating oh completely but so at this point I mean it

00:09:19.040 just seems like there's nothing he can do because there are all these big rigs

00:09:22.160 across the city all these massive trucks all over um and you have all these

00:09:25.980 there are hundreds of thousands of protesters in the city over the weekend

00:09:29.940 and there are still numbers there now and more returning this weekend um and it

00:09:33.900 seems he's kind of been backed into a corner because they have been so peaceful

00:10:47.600 yeah who have not done anything wrong and then have just had a handful of agents

00:10:52.160 provocateurs out there like one or two people with Confederate Nazi flag yeah make

00:10:56.960 everyone look bad uh and suddenly they're all a bunch of racists and

00:11:00.160 xenophobes but it seems that one week after all of the you know the cameras and the

00:11:05.080 focus have been on there you know Daddy Trudeau has had enough and it feels like a

00:11:09.260 little true daddy it seems like he's ready to crack down um you know he's panicked and

00:11:14.440 worried and we've seen announcements from the Ottawa police and the RCMP

00:11:19.480 stating that they're ready to deploy additional resources to crack down on the

00:11:22.900 protesters and there's this string of tweets from the Ottawa police yes that is

00:11:27.220 actually shocking to read through like I said these are completely peaceful

00:11:30.280 protesters and you read through this string of tweets from the Ottawa police

00:11:33.280 saying they're deploying all these additional officers they're gonna start

00:11:35.980 enforcing everything they can that they're taking down names and writing down

00:11:39.440 license plates of everyone who's in the city so they can enforce and it seems like

00:11:43.000 they're gonna you know be trying to even instigate stuff like this is my

00:11:46.480 personal speculation and there could be some heavy-handed responses and arrests

00:11:50.680 like it's my feeling that Trudeau was just so desperate here and he's finally

00:11:53.740 decided it's time to crack the whip no absolutely and I think it's kind of a

00:11:57.400 good sign that we are seeing the the police come out and kind of have these

00:12:19.120 respectful they gave a lot of room and space of the protesters all the ones I

00:12:26.320 police on the ground around the area of Ottawa where the truckers are parked

00:12:29.740 around Parliament and they were very respectful and they just said we're just

00:12:33.640 here to keep the peace and make sure everyone's safe and you know warm and to

00:12:37.240 help people if they need it and you know what we're just we're just here there was a good

00:12:41.380 bit of sort of political showmanship like there were cops standing just standing

00:12:44.620 there in formation with riot gear just kind of eerie but a theater yeah a bit of

00:12:48.980 theater political theater for sure but the cops themselves were like they were

00:12:51.760 standing in formation there's a guy sitting next to them taking selfies and

00:12:54.760 people chatting with them like the cops are just like yeah we've been ordered to

00:12:57.400 stand here we're just kind of hanging out like you know how's it going guys but

00:13:23.680 ample time for something to have gone awry these people have maintained peace

00:13:27.280 they're they're not threatening anyone I know the horn honking is probably very

00:13:31.360 annoying for people in the neighborhood but you know what else is annoying

00:13:33.460 having your freedoms taken away for two years so it's very true yeah people like and

00:13:41.800 breaking the law here in terms of I imagine they don't have a lot of the

00:13:45.040 proper permits they need for protesting they are blocking city streets right they

00:13:48.940 all would be having noise violations with all these bylaws and stuff but the

00:13:53.200 intention here is like this is an active protest this is an in and of itself a

00:13:57.880 rebellion and they've been breaking these smaller laws they have overall been

00:14:01.720 very compliant with the police yeah they've been working together they've been

00:14:05.800 very compliant we've seen that a lot in Alberta too on the border they the when

00:14:10.220 they were negotiating with the RCMP the the truckers were very amicable yeah like

00:14:13.960 these are people who are at their wits ends they feel like they've been backed

00:14:39.140 crime data just the preliminary police data the statistics here of crime this

00:14:44.820 past week in the area of Ottawa where all the truckers and protesters are compared to

00:14:49.060 the week before there has been a significant drop in crime in Ottawa since the

00:14:55.640 protesters and the truckers have arrived you know it's so funny we're always told

00:14:58.640 to look at the data and yet these people who are like preaching this that us

00:15:02.480 can't practice what they preach look at the data y'all yeah if you read through

00:15:06.140 there I read through it quickly I'm trying to remember exactly what it said

00:15:09.320 there but I think it said something there were like 30 something incidents of

00:15:12.800 violent crime where the police were called yeah 31 police calls for robbery

00:15:17.660 assault drug trafficking public drunkenness stolen vehicles store breaking and

00:15:22.040 other crimes in the week prior to the protest and there were three reports of a

00:15:26.740 street crime since the protest began for mischief robbery and auto theft so one

00:15:30.900 came from 31 to three though the week before they came was 31 the week while they were there was

00:15:35.740 three in that region that's a shocking drop in crime it seems all these truckers and

00:15:39.600 protesters coming to town has been a major deterrent for criminals actually so thank

00:15:44.800 a trucker yeah so get out there and thank a trucker honk your horns but it's it's just

00:15:49.660 astounding to see that the police and the politicians are trying to frame this

00:15:53.740 group of protesters in Ottawa as violent dangerous extremists and we need to bring the police there we've seen

00:19:52.620 those who are protesting in Ottawa just helping people to know their rights when it comes to this

00:20:05.720 think it's really important for people to be aware yeah it absolutely is yeah the democracyfund.ca

00:20:14.520 with the police dealing with lawyers the best way to do things like for example we've we've been sent

00:20:18.260 so many videos of oh look at this shocking thing this officer did to us because this person

00:20:22.440 wasn't wearing a mask or this person was here and but they also did things that made it worse
