Rebel News Podcast - DAILY ｜ Pastor Art, Catherine McKenna

00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, welcome to Rebel News Livestream Daily.

00:00:26.780 I'm here with my co-host, Catherine Krasanowski, filling in for, I guess, David Menzies, Sheila Gunn-Reed, Ezra Levant, filling in for everybody.

00:00:35.800 Really, we're not supposed to be here.

00:00:37.700 Thanks for everybody watching on YouTube.

00:00:39.800 Of course, Rumble, SuperU, and everybody down at Odyssey who can send us the super...

00:00:45.640 What are the Odyssey chats called again, Justin?

00:00:48.300 Hyper chats.

00:00:49.460 It's like from the future.

00:00:50.440 So if you guys have something you want to comment, question us on, or just, I don't know, show us your favorite website, you can send us a hyper chat through there.

00:00:59.640 Of course, we're going to be going through our favorite clips of the day, our latest stories, and the latest news stories around the world.

00:01:07.260 You went to see Catherine McKenna yesterday, I heard.

00:01:11.080 You want to tell everybody about that?

00:01:12.580 I would love to.

00:01:13.360 It was my first mission for Rebel News.

00:01:16.420 I've never met a minister, and certainly not in this situation.

00:01:20.820 She was not excited to talk to me.

00:01:23.300 She doesn't know me.

00:01:25.640 I don't think she knew that I was from Rebel, but she was not happy to talk to me at all.

00:01:30.360 And she deflected the questions, and she said I was harassing her, which is a stretch because it was a media event, and I was being very polite, and I just wanted to ask her a couple questions.

00:01:41.600 So that was interesting for me.

00:01:43.680 My heart was pounding, but I think we got some interesting footage of her being very deflective and not answering the questions that I went there to ask her.

00:01:51.960 For sure, and we'll get to that clip in a second, producer, Justin.

00:01:55.560 Catherine McKenna, who we all know is from the Valley in California, judging by her accent.

00:02:00.440 Nobody was there, it looked like, besides you and producer Mocha.

00:02:04.480 And it looks like she sort of, you know, as the only reporters in the room, she was like, oh, I don't know, what are they doing here?

00:02:12.400 And she sort of tried to just walk away, it looked like. 0.84

00:02:15.100 And so that video is going to be coming out, but I think we have a little bit of a teaser we can play, producer Justin, if you are ready.

00:02:21.060 Very good.

00:02:23.600 Report.

00:02:23.920 Okay, well, I can just ask while you're doing what you're doing.

00:02:30.520 The Parliamentary Budget Office stated that 9,000 separate projects from your department went unreported on.

00:02:36.580 Do you have anything to say about that?

00:02:40.400 Oh, we cut back those pretty quick, Justin.

00:02:42.260 So, my gathering there is that she's retiring now, and she's accomplished so much that she's just, you know, she's just ready to hang up her boots.

00:02:52.960 My guess is that there's probably something coming out that she doesn't want to come out, or she's just had enough of pretending like she knows what she's doing.

00:02:59.560 And I might sound a little mean, but this is the girl who can't answer any questions, that is pretty obvious.

00:03:05.600 She has changed her cabinet position.

00:03:07.440 She speaks as if she's from California when she's from Hamilton, Ontario, which really bothers me, as you can tell.

00:03:14.240 And she just sort of ran away from you, didn't she?

00:03:16.480 Yes, she did.

00:03:17.000 Like, I was a big, scary monster.

00:03:18.380 She was extremely scared of me.

00:03:20.580 I think it's interesting that she retired now, and in her retirement statement that she posted on Twitter, she said that she wanted to step down before the next election, whenever that happens.

00:03:31.260 And I think it's pretty interesting timing, especially because that scathing report just came out about her and the underspend and the incompetency in her department. 0.90

00:03:42.980 So, it was a bad one.

00:03:44.240 The Auditor General's report was not in favor of Catherine McKenna and her department, and she didn't want to talk about that.

00:03:50.100 She only wanted to talk to me about the climate Barbie thing, which I didn't even know about because it was from years ago.

00:03:57.100 But Sheila Gunn-Reed here made a funny little nickname for Catherine McKenna, climate Barbie. 1.00

00:04:02.620 We don't, we'd call her that sometimes, but it's not, it's not the main focus.

00:04:07.360 Usually we focus on her policy, but it's a fun little nickname.

00:04:10.820 And she couldn't get past it.

00:04:12.260 She wouldn't talk to me because she wanted me to say, and she's done this to other rebel reporters too, as long as you promise not to call me climate Barbie anymore.

00:04:19.060 And it's like that, you don't get to tell the media how you want to be referred to by the media.

00:04:23.380 That's, imagine if every politician did that. 0.79

00:04:26.280 Don't call me the orange man.

00:04:27.600 It hurts my feelings.

00:04:29.500 Previous of Justin, I call her climate Barbie all the time.

00:04:32.620 He sends me emails at 3 a.m.

00:04:34.220 Did you hear what climate Barbie just said?

00:04:36.840 I don't think we should call her that anymore, Justin.

00:04:39.140 I wish you wouldn't do such hate speech.

00:04:41.740 And since we have a censorship bill coming down the pipeline from the liberals, it's good that we get this all out of the way while we can, Catherine McKenna.

00:04:50.220 So I'm personally sorry.

00:04:51.700 I've never met you.

00:04:53.040 I just want to apologize in advance in case I ever meet you, because I will call you that.

00:04:58.820 You know, one more thing, Andrew.

00:05:00.480 Barbie is not the worst insult. 1.00

00:05:02.840 Like, it's a doll, and she's kind of like, you know, she has a reputation, I guess, for being a doll.

00:05:07.500 But that's not the worst insult you can call someone.

00:05:10.420 Barbie is beautiful, and she's been around since the 60s, and she looks great. 0.59

00:05:13.480 Climate Gargoyle, I guess, would be harmful to somebody's mental health.

00:05:17.380 Climate Swamp Monster.

00:05:18.920 But we don't call her that.

00:05:20.600 I had a talk with a nice guy on my show, too.

00:05:24.360 Great transition, Gargoyles.

00:05:25.900 Wonderful cartoon from the 90s.

00:05:28.300 You don't know that one?

00:05:29.380 Whatever.

00:05:29.880 No, I'm kidding.

00:05:30.240 I talked with Sticks.

00:05:33.720 Hex and Hammer is his YouTube name.

00:05:35.360 His name is Tarl Warwick, an amazing name that I'm guessing has got to be Nordic or something like that.

00:05:41.440 He's written a lot of books.

00:05:42.320 He's a big YouTuber.

00:05:43.800 We spoke about a lot of stuff.

00:05:45.120 He's actually, he grew up as a Christian, like a Pentecostal, he said.

00:05:49.320 Became an atheist, then a Satanist somehow.

00:05:52.600 And now he's sort of just, like, knowledgeable in all worldly religions.

00:05:55.780 He's written books about it.

00:05:56.840 But his latest book was about critical race theory.

00:06:00.020 So I want to show a clip from my show, funny that I have to say that, that aired last night.

00:06:06.620 It's still up on rebelnewsplus.com, behind the paywall, of course, you guys.

00:06:11.040 So let's go ahead and play a clip of that, JT.

00:06:13.240 And you guys are going to see how, I think it's going to come across pretty evident how smart this guy is.

00:06:18.860 And we're so driven by bigotry and hate that we attack our fellow citizens as traitors.

00:06:22.980 If they're born in another country, but they don't look like us. 0.99

00:06:39.780 God help us.

00:06:42.560 But I have faith.

00:06:44.220 Because of folks like you.

00:06:50.540 And Adam, I didn't expect this would be quite so much later, but it must be an Adam thing today.

00:06:57.520 But I'm so grateful to all of you.

00:06:59.980 With that, Mr. Sherman, I'll be back.

00:07:01.360 So I was in the military sticks.

00:07:04.060 None of this makes me cry at all.

00:07:05.640 None of the events that happened on January 6th makes me cry at all.

00:07:09.760 And Adam Schiff, they're really attempting, trying his hardest to cry.

00:07:13.500 Wish I knew the name of the guy on Fox who does the impression of him.

00:07:16.800 I don't know if you've seen that, but it's really good.

00:07:18.940 We all pulled our money together and got you something.

00:07:21.920 Mmm.

00:07:23.880 Mmm.

00:07:28.540 It's beautiful.

00:07:29.420 What do you think this theater is all about?

00:07:32.980 Because to me, they're sitting there saying, how dare we treat people as the other and political opponents as non-citizens or whatever he just said.

00:07:42.480 But I feel like the end goal of all this stuff is to otherize Trump supporters and possibly turn it into a situation where we demonize them based on their belief system so that it becomes illegal.

00:07:55.420 I don't know.

00:07:55.780 What do you think is the end goal of all this?

00:07:57.320 Yeah, well, that's been ongoing for half a decade now, and it's been partially successful, but there's a huge pushback against it.

00:08:04.820 I just like the fact that Adam Schiff was attempting to show emotion.

00:08:10.020 I liked his attempt to appear human.

00:08:13.260 It's like watching Mark Zuckerberg try to get teared up watching Benjamin Button or something like that.

00:08:19.520 I was human once.

00:08:20.740 I am.

00:08:21.220 So you can watch that at rebelnewsplus.com.

00:08:24.740 Did you manage to catch any of those January 6 hearings, the Capitol riot hearings?

00:08:29.400 I did not, actually.

00:08:30.640 Well, what we were watching there was Adam Schiff, a Democrat, pretending to cry.

00:08:37.120 That impression of him is pretty accurate.

00:08:39.180 And that was the whole thing.

00:08:40.740 I mean, they brought up everything that happened as if the video and recollections haven't been done to death.

00:08:47.120 And most people think it's a push for censorship.

00:08:48.820 So it's really tying in here with what's going on in Canada, where there seems to be this, you know, we're demonizing anybody who believes differently than us.

00:08:59.000 And not only that, they're actually a threat to our democracy.

00:09:02.060 They're a threat to our country.

00:09:03.720 And I think that's what's going to happen here in Canada when we start saying, look at all this hate speech that's online.

00:09:10.220 We need to censor them.

00:09:11.500 And then I have no qualms about suggesting that further down the line, it's going to be like, well, what if we start charging people for that?

00:09:18.120 Or what if we start investigating people?

00:09:19.560 That's what I was going to say, is I think that, and I hope I'm wrong in this, but I feel like it's going to be a push to move away from international terrorism to domestic terrorism and say anyone who is a supporter of anything right-leaning is now considered a dangerous extremist and possibly a domestic terrorist.

00:09:37.860 And that's my fear, is that you're going to basically say half the population could at any point be labeled domestic terrorists.

00:09:44.240 And that's extremely terrifying because they can use that to, and we've seen it before with the, I guess it was during the Iraq war, they were using terrorism as an excuse to spy on Americans.

00:09:56.260 And who's to say that they're not going to do that for domestic terrorists as well?

00:09:59.820 So that's my fear.

00:10:00.700 Well, the problem with a lot of that, especially that I have with these hearings, and I mentioned this yesterday, is that all this stuff's already known.

00:10:10.180 And not only is all this stuff already known and there's footage of everything, some of the stories, the guy being called the N-word by a crowd of people that a lot of people aren't believing, and there's no video of.

00:10:21.640 A lot of this stuff's already been exposed.

00:10:23.620 We know all the people who are inside there.

00:10:25.240 They're getting arrested.

00:10:26.020 I agree that you should not be able to just storm into the Capitol, do whatever you want, and not face any repercussions.

00:10:34.480 But there is limits to the punishment they should have.

00:10:37.860 But other than that, Tucker Carlson exposed that there was at least six FBI informants working in the crowd of people with the three major groups that were involved in rioting at the Capitol.

00:10:49.500 And you combine that with the plot in Michigan, I believe, to kidnap a politician, where 12 of 18 of the kidnappers were FBI agents.

00:11:01.540 And it's just like we're getting too close to all this stuff.

00:11:04.660 We're getting too close to exposing the government.

00:11:06.820 And all of a sudden, we need to start shutting down the Internet.

00:11:09.600 We need to start censoring everything.

00:11:11.460 Everybody's a threat.

00:11:13.440 Everybody who's critical of Justin Trudeau now needs to be taken off.

00:11:17.180 And they've claimed, and Stephen Gilbeau claimed previously when they were trying to push through this other censorship stuff, that, oh, no, it's just going to be people and publications with a big following.

00:11:27.500 It's just going to be people of a large platform.

00:11:30.280 But, of course, they can't get into the specifics of what that means.

00:11:33.200 Does Rebel News for having 1.5 million mean it's subjected to these rules?

00:11:38.580 Does somebody who just has a random YouTube channel of 100,000, what's the threshold here?

00:11:43.480 And I think it's just going to turn out to be anything they want.

00:11:46.200 Well, that's the thing.

00:11:46.960 They can be subjective about it, and they can just move that marker.

00:11:49.260 It's like you said, a YouTuber with 100,000 followers, that might be like, oh, that's a large platform now.

00:11:54.120 We're shutting you down.

00:11:55.380 And it's not like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram needs any reason to shut somebody down.

00:12:00.760 It happens all the time.

00:12:01.960 People complain about whoever it is for three days, and then we just sort of forget about it.

00:12:05.720 Even we haven't heard anything, I think, as of this recording.

00:12:09.420 Well, this is live, but or is it?

00:12:11.100 I don't think the Conservatives in Canada have said anything, and it's not like we've seen any objection to any of this stuff at all so far.

00:12:20.100 They're willing to let it go as far as it goes, as long as they don't want it to hurt their election campaign that's going on.

00:12:27.240 And it's really a shame to not actually be able to rely on any politicians in Canada to do or say anything about it, at least not ones that have actual seats and voting power.

00:12:37.640 That's politicians.

00:12:38.940 It's so hard.

00:12:40.280 The kind of person that gets into politics, you have to be extreme, like Maxime Bernier comes to mind, you have to be extremely against the grain to actually hold to your values and not become one of those political, I don't know, yes men who just wants to say everything and then get into office and change your mind.

00:12:58.000 I'm hoping Maxime is different, but you see how people hate him because he's different.

00:13:02.080 So, yeah, like what you said, the politicians that are in power are the ones that are the most spineless, I would say.

00:13:08.720 Well, I think we all enjoy videos of Aaron O'Toole jogging and working out, giving his wife a beer or whatever it was.

00:13:17.260 I think this is what we all want for a politician.

00:13:19.280 It's like the Will Ferrell movie where he's running for office and they try to get him to kiss a baby and he accidentally punches it.

00:13:25.660 It's like, what are the most stereotypical things we can have to try to push through our campaign?

00:13:30.700 I mean, oh, we'll get professional photos done of you jogging, Aaron.

00:13:34.520 That'll make everybody want to vote for you.

00:13:36.760 Well, he got in trouble because he had his original video was him jogging and then coming home from his jog and his wife handing him a beer or he tweeted that she handed him a beer and people were like, oh, dare you let your wife serve you?

00:13:47.480 And then he did another tweet of him handing his wife a beer and it's like, we get it?

00:13:52.460 Like, is a woman not allowed to give a man a beer? 1.00

00:13:55.500 Well, I was disappointed in him for, like, basically doing his recant of what you're saying, his response. 1.00

00:14:03.080 It's like, you can't just be like, well, anyone who thinks this is weird is stupid. 0.97

00:14:06.780 He has to be like, no, see, I am a feminist and I am fair. 0.99

00:14:10.620 It's all the same song and dance.

00:14:12.380 And like we show the video of Doug Ford at a Rebel live event from, like, 2017 where he's talking about standing up for the little guy.

00:14:20.340 It's the same thing. Aaron O'Toole answered our questions when he wasn't the leader of the party.

00:14:25.440 He had the little press conference we had there with himself and Derek Sloan in the chat with my big brother, Andrew Lawton over at True North.

00:14:34.960 And they're willing to answer these questions.

00:14:36.700 Derek Sloan, of course, still is willing to answer the questions.

00:14:38.860 But now Aaron O'Toole, we can't deal with Rebel News.

00:14:41.940 And it always turns into a Trump accent.

00:14:43.460 And we can't deal with Rebel News.

00:14:45.500 They're too much of a hindrance on free speech or whatever excuse he's giving a du jour.

00:14:50.760 But I don't have any faith, I think, is what my long-winded answer there means.

00:14:54.860 Avi Amini is just killing it down in Australia.

00:14:58.360 I find myself being extremely excited for whatever video is coming next for him because he just has a way of, like, engaging with you.

00:15:05.300 And even if it's a three-minute video that he's serving up with talking, the way he leans into that mic and his curly hair, it just gets to you, you know.

00:15:13.380 And he had this great video the other day from one of their protests where it seems like after lockdown number five, people in Sydney, Australia, have sort of finally had enough.

00:15:22.540 And I was looking up these statistics yesterday because I wanted to talk to Avi about it.

00:15:28.240 New South Wales, which is the province, for those of you who aren't versed in geography.

00:15:33.460 Their new cases was 250 cases, if I'm not mistaken.

00:15:38.320 And the positivity rate of their tests was 0.2%.

00:15:41.040 So they have about 6,000 active cases in the entire province.

00:15:45.060 But 250 out of, like, 110,000 tests was the thing that pushed them over the mark.

00:15:51.060 So now we're into five-kilometer lockdown.

00:15:54.020 You can't leave your house outside of five kilometers, only for a couple hours a day to exercise or go get groceries.

00:16:00.000 Only one person from the household.

00:16:01.480 Of course, you can't do anything else.

00:16:03.720 You need to show your papers to go to work.

00:16:06.280 You need to show vaccination, a negative test if you don't have a vaccination.

00:16:13.460 We're starting to see that in Canada, too.

00:16:15.360 Of course.

00:16:16.160 And they've even deployed 300 military members of the Australian Defense Force, which I imagine is, like, reservists or National Guard here.

00:16:23.280 But they want to use them to enforce people quarantining at home, which I think is an extremely new step in the wrong direction.

00:16:33.760 So I think we have his video, Dewey, Producer JT.

00:16:36.460 We do.

00:16:36.760 So let's bask in some Avia Menni.

00:16:44.000 To be honest with you, I didn't know that today was going to be running at all.

00:16:47.480 I was going for a drive and I heard on the radio that there was a few roads blocked and some protesting going on.

00:16:54.500 I have no idea who organized this today because there's way too many people here for it to be sudden.

00:16:58.740 We heard about this not from the TV, but through word of mouth.

00:17:02.220 Word of mouth spreads faster than the news.

00:17:04.720 When I saw that in the street, I was almost crying.

00:17:11.340 It was extraordinary when we saw people just coming out of every side street out onto the park.

00:17:15.780 We're here today to represent the people that don't have the courage to come out and stand up for their rights.

00:17:19.900 We're the voice of everyone.

00:17:21.020 It's very simple.

00:17:22.060 Welcome to the socialist nation of Australia.

00:17:24.800 We won't let that happen.

00:17:25.940 There's only one right here.

00:17:27.140 It's called freedom.

00:17:28.740 Freedom of choice, freedom of speech.

00:17:33.020 And some people have been arguing for years about, it's my body, my choice.

00:17:44.380 I believe in freedom.

00:17:45.900 We are meant to mix.

00:17:47.380 We are meant to move around.

00:17:49.180 We are stopped by all this propaganda.

00:17:51.240 Now there's going to be a segregation, a divide.

00:18:00.820 This is not okay.

00:18:02.040 We deserve a choice.

00:18:03.360 Not manipulation and bullying.

00:18:05.260 Like, why is this much force on something?

00:18:11.220 Anything that is good for us should be out of our own free will.

00:18:14.060 We're living in a time where we're being bullied by the media bureaucrats and we shouldn't be.

00:18:17.960 I mean, who gets to dictate that?

00:18:19.080 Any dissenting type narrative has been blocked from the media and anyone who talks negatively about lockdowns or that appears to be blocked.

00:18:25.940 Facebook will tell you it's potentially misleading information.

00:18:28.480 It's not even up for discussion.

00:18:31.240 They feel entitled to put all these things in place without public debate going on.

00:18:36.800 It's all, you know, under the guise of public health, anti-terrorism.

00:18:41.420 Anyone who has a critique of the government is labelled a terrorist in this kind of climate.

00:18:46.640 It's really concerning.

00:18:48.020 Because I'm a disability nurse and I'm going to lose the job that I love of nine years because they're mandating this within the health industry.

00:18:57.600 So many people in my industry are on board with me.

00:19:00.700 I'm in health care.

00:19:02.260 So that, for me, is a no-no.

00:19:05.080 Don't force it on people.

00:19:06.600 You want to take it, take it.

00:19:08.340 What's the point?

00:19:09.240 If you care about it, man.

00:19:10.580 Australia's a free country, man.

00:19:11.780 It's a beautiful country.

00:19:12.640 They're ruining our country.

00:19:13.840 They're just going to pay the bills.

00:19:14.820 They're just going to pay the mortgage.

00:19:16.020 The bank still wants their money.

00:19:18.020 There's no hope for the younger generation locking us down.

00:19:20.640 There's no hope for anyone.

00:19:21.820 People are dying from suicide and depression.

00:19:24.580 You don't hear about that, do you?

00:19:31.980 What's going to happen to the suicide rates as the time goes by?

00:19:35.300 What's going to happen to the people who can't afford to pay their rent?

00:19:37.900 What's going to happen to the people who don't have the freedom of medical choice?

00:19:41.720 We're all just out here trying to get our jobs back, trying to get our lives back.

00:19:45.340 You know, two weeks to slow the spread or 18 months and we'll just keep ticking over

00:19:49.400 as long as we feel like.

00:19:50.920 It felt like about 10 million people, but realistically it was probably about 10,000.

00:19:54.560 The whole of Broadway was shut down.

00:19:56.000 Yeah, we're all moving in one direction.

00:19:57.400 Men with drums, megaphones, you know, lots of signage.

00:20:00.060 I've come here today to join with these tens of thousands of people for our freedom, for

00:20:05.620 our right to choose.

00:20:10.480 And so I'm hoping that this is enough to at least spark a discussion, an open discussion.

00:20:17.620 Even if it's one person's reality and another person's reality that we can come together

00:20:22.460 and dialogue about.

00:20:23.320 I'm just another member of society that would like to protest against this infringement of

00:20:31.880 our freedoms.

00:20:32.800 Both of us are holistic health practitioners and we've just had enough of this business

00:20:37.560 of knowing what's wrong for our clients and for people's well-being in relation to mask

00:20:42.480 mandates.

00:20:43.440 Most of us have to follow along with this narrative just to keep practicing.

00:20:47.200 And the other thing is, you know, we're standing in freedom, not just for ourselves, but for

00:20:53.320 everyone.

00:20:53.840 We stand in peace and in love.

00:20:56.360 Yeah.

00:20:56.660 Yeah.

00:21:00.240 Basically here only because we had enough for the government lying to us.

00:21:04.160 We have enough that people are believing the government and watching the zombie TV every

00:21:07.960 single day.

00:21:08.940 And we have to be free and we have to have a choice of freedom.

00:21:15.020 So let's just let everyone open their eyes and actually find the right information.

00:21:19.460 The information is open for you.

00:21:30.300 We think we have the right to protest in this country, especially when we came to this country,

00:21:36.760 I came here, she was born here, to have freedom.

00:21:40.100 We didn't have any freedom in our country.

00:21:42.460 How come Black Lives Matter protests happen and it was allowed? 0.78

00:21:51.840 That's my concern.

00:21:53.200 Why is that allowed?

00:21:54.620 And why is this not allowed?

00:21:56.020 This is freedom of speech.

00:21:57.260 This is freedom for our rights.

00:21:59.040 Whatever religion you are, we should come together and stand together.

00:22:02.100 Enough is enough.

00:22:02.640 This is not a democracy country anymore.

00:22:06.880 Listen people, wake up.

00:22:08.580 It's not a fear.

00:22:09.440 Don't be scared.

00:22:10.480 Whatever they say, do not be afraid.

00:22:12.180 That's the main part.

00:22:13.280 That's what they want to kill us with, with fear.

00:22:15.100 We don't even need seven news, nine news.

00:22:17.860 It's all fake.

00:22:18.720 Fake media, fake news.

00:22:23.520 With the things that are being put in place, it seems quite clear that we're not a free country anymore.

00:22:29.480 And that's really disturbing.

00:22:31.840 Anyone who's, you know, survived communist regimes and things like that, there are very telling signs of what's going on now that are concerning for the future.

00:22:43.240 Once they put these things in place, you know, how can they bring things back from this?

00:22:49.640 Look, a generation ago, our mothers and fathers fought and died to preserve our freedoms.

00:22:57.300 You know, a generation ago, we thought it was worth sacrificing millions of lives for the sake of preserving those freedoms.

00:23:03.920 Now, we throw away those freedoms for the sake of preserving lives.

00:23:07.640 Presumably, we don't want to live in a country where they have electronic surveillance on you, where they can tell you when you come in and when you go out,

00:23:14.400 when you can go to work, who you can associate with, whether you're able to embrace people.

00:23:19.080 I've lost a good friend to the virus, not in Syria, not in Australia.

00:23:23.040 I've known seven people who've suicided over this period.

00:23:26.880 The real cost of the lockdowns, I don't believe, I've never believed that what is driving government policy is primarily a concern for our health.

00:23:36.400 If it was, there would be more account taken at the other side of that equation, of the cost of lockdowns, the cost of mental health,

00:23:43.380 the cost on jobs, the rise of domestic violence, all the associated ills, which the government will never be held responsible for,

00:23:51.540 but which are real and which are damaging and which are destroying us and destroying our community.

00:23:56.280 And I think this is what these lockdowns do.

00:23:58.040 They strip us of our humanity.

00:24:00.700 They break down community and they destroy the country we fought for, the country we love, the values we cherish.

00:24:10.360 We need to stand up and fight, not violently, but we need to be ready to have violence done to us, I suspect, by police and others.

00:24:20.140 We've got to be ready to count the cost, as our mothers and our fathers did when they fought to give us these freedoms.

00:24:26.880 It's time for us now to stand up and fight to preserve them.

00:24:33.220 Shout out Father Dave, shout out Space Jam guy.

00:24:35.680 How did that make you feel?

00:24:37.240 That was shocking.

00:24:38.460 I mean, I've seen the footage of the protests, but I hadn't seen the fire guy.

00:24:43.420 Fire waving guy getting taken away like he was a mass murderer or something?

00:24:46.620 Yeah, I hadn't seen that.

00:24:47.780 That was pretty shocking to me.

00:24:49.560 Well, I believe it was the police chief there that said that was an unauthorized protest.

00:24:52.960 He expects that unauthorized protests should not happen again, or else they will be dealt with appropriately.

00:24:58.700 There was an editor at Sky News Australia who said that, you know, knocking on the doors is just the obvious next step to keep everything under control.

00:25:06.600 Do you have something you want to say with that?

00:25:08.160 An unauthorized protest seems like an oxymoron to me, because a protest is you're protesting something usually within the government, but it doesn't have to be, obviously.

00:25:16.480 But it's like, how could you have an authorized protest?

00:25:19.200 That doesn't seem...

00:25:19.960 Well, it's supposed to be that protests are allowed no matter what.

00:25:23.340 Exactly.

00:25:23.880 So they should all be authorized.

00:25:25.280 Exactly.

00:25:26.060 But if you follow Avie Manny's videos, you'll know that during the winter, I guess it's reversed there.

00:25:31.820 Toilet's been backwards in Australia.

00:25:34.320 They had Black Lives Matter protests.

00:25:36.440 They had environmental lockdown protests, both in the streets and inside malls and stuff.

00:25:42.140 I don't think anybody was arrested.

00:25:43.740 I could be wrong, but those were not condemned as unlawful protests.

00:25:48.240 Those were just, you know, they're doing the right thing.

00:25:50.460 You know, let's shut down everything for climate change. 0.94

00:25:53.220 Let's shut down everything for, I guess, police brutality against Black people in Southern Australia.

00:25:58.580 I didn't know that was a thing, but I guess maybe it's possible that it is.

00:26:01.960 The point is that we're picking ideologies for which protests, and by we I mean the media and the government, clearly agreeing.

00:26:10.020 Because why else would you excuse something like that?

00:26:11.820 If I saw a protest for freedom, I'm more likely to support that than a protest for climate lockdowns.

00:26:18.980 So I think that's just what the government is doing.

00:26:22.060 But if you're in the government, you're not supposed to choose sides like that.

00:26:24.780 You can choose sides in policy and the ways you vote for things and the way you implement the changes you want to see.

00:26:30.660 But you're not supposed to take sides on the individual persecution level of your own citizens.

00:26:35.880 But that's just my crazy, like, 2007 thinking, I guess.

00:26:39.660 I think we have some hyper chats and whatnot to get to from producer Justin.

00:26:43.980 He's telling me that if I don't do it, he's going to flatten my tires again, which is becoming a huge problem, Justin.

00:26:53.740 AroRoxan, I'm guessing that means, from Rumble, says,

00:26:56.520 Sheila and David look really different today.

00:26:58.220 You know, I've been trying to age myself to look like David Menzies.

00:27:01.420 I was going to say, I look like David Menzies.

00:27:03.180 Well, you know, I'll get the hat, I'll get the suit.

00:27:06.900 I have a hat.

00:27:07.880 I'm being him for Halloween.

00:27:08.840 That's what I'm going to do.

00:27:09.460 That's going to be a time.

00:27:10.980 I guess that means I should be, I'm going to be mocha for Halloween, I think.

00:27:14.960 Ryan Rostey says, love sticks, as in my guest is Tarl.

00:27:19.260 Tarl, like from Walking Dead, almost.

00:27:22.220 From YouTube, Cindy M. Mick.

00:27:26.280 You look amazing.

00:27:27.940 Thank you.

00:27:28.820 Super U-Tip Atomic Dog says, for $10,

00:27:32.060 Rebel Management, please give Andrew a weekly sports show, would be great.

00:27:36.000 I mean, I don't see that happening.

00:27:37.480 People have actually suggested on the live stream that we should cover more sports.

00:27:40.880 And when it crosses over into culture or politics,

00:27:44.140 I'd imagine that, like, it does happen.

00:27:47.400 Yeah.

00:27:47.660 But I don't think there's going to be a sports show as much as I like it.

00:27:50.980 I think Norm MacDonald's the only person who tried to do a sports show

00:27:53.800 with, like, politics involved or, like, comedy involved.

00:27:56.540 If you do anything he wants.

00:27:57.220 I'll do another show.

00:27:58.120 I'll do a second show.

00:27:59.080 But I don't think we're going to get a sports show.

00:28:00.620 It would just be you talking badly about the Leafs anyways, wouldn't it?

00:28:04.100 No, I'd find a way to make fun of everyone evenly.

00:28:06.960 Okay, that's good.

00:28:07.500 Even the Leafs as well.

00:28:10.060 From Rumble, MVP9337, using the military to enforce lockdowns is something I expect in

00:28:15.580 dictatorships.

00:28:16.300 I agree with you.

00:28:19.100 It looks like it's going to happen.

00:28:20.180 I don't know how much compliance you're going to get.

00:28:23.260 And that tends to be why they use, you know, National Guard reservists, because they're

00:28:28.560 less, like, they can rotate them more.

00:28:31.040 They're less experienced.

00:28:32.420 They're just willing to do what they're told more.

00:28:34.880 And that's my experience as a person who's in the military.

00:28:38.020 A hyper chat from Juice Moose, which is a great name.

00:28:41.080 Only in the Liberal Party can you fail upwards.

00:28:43.180 That and the CBC as well, is what Juice Moose says.

00:28:47.740 This is very true.

00:28:49.540 I also like to point to my favorite broadcaster in the United States, Joy Reid from MSNBC.

00:28:54.680 She got exposed for having a homophobic blog.

00:28:57.600 And I wouldn't use that term unless it was actually just anti-gay, which it was. 0.63

00:29:01.240 She claimed somebody else wrote it.

00:29:03.080 She got a show out of that, which is how it usually works.

00:29:08.080 Sojourner says, they want to kill us with fear.

00:29:10.640 What an awesome statement.

00:29:11.560 I agree.

00:29:12.180 That seems to be what's happening everywhere, is it not?

00:29:14.840 Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

00:29:16.780 W. James Wright sounds like an author.

00:29:20.720 She looks good on camera and is smart.

00:29:23.140 She needs to be on more. 0.99

00:29:25.020 Andrew, you do great interviews and do well here, too.

00:29:28.580 Yes.

00:29:28.900 James?

00:29:29.760 Yes.

00:29:30.180 I do do well here.

00:29:31.500 Thank you, James.

00:29:32.640 Let's go ahead and promote the Rebel New Store, which is always giving us sweet new merchandise

00:29:38.040 to wear.

00:29:39.060 Producer Justin, I promise you I won't do it.

00:29:42.180 Alex Jones impression this time.

00:29:43.840 Can I do it?

00:29:44.740 You can do an Alex Jones impression if you'd like.

00:29:46.580 Check out these amazing t-shirts, folks.

00:29:48.420 They are going to blow you away.

00:29:50.140 All right.

00:29:50.840 All right.

00:29:51.240 Let's work on that.

00:29:52.560 Let's work on that for the future.

00:29:54.820 I like the Back to the Future one here.

00:29:56.720 Speaking of the future, 30 years.

00:29:58.920 I love that one.

00:29:59.680 I got it myself.

00:30:00.380 The 1984 was not an instruction manual one.

00:30:02.700 I also got that one myself.

00:30:04.500 And no, I didn't just buy everything in the store.

00:30:06.860 I have to limit myself or else I'll go insane.

00:30:09.700 A lot of people like the Justin Trudeau with stars in his eyes one.

00:30:13.220 I have that one at home.

00:30:14.060 I wear that all the time.

00:30:16.060 Don't wear that in China.

00:30:17.340 I don't think that's a good idea.

00:30:18.940 So we got tons of stuff here at rebelnewsstore.com.

00:30:21.720 Of course, if you're an Avie and many supporter, you can go to the Australian store.

00:30:24.740 Oh, the David Menzies.

00:30:25.860 David Menzies.

00:30:26.700 That's his real body.

00:30:27.820 Can confirm.

00:30:29.160 I want to release greeting cards with audio in it of David Menzies' workout sounds.

00:30:35.720 I float that idea all the time.

00:30:37.260 Nobody wants to do it.

00:30:38.040 I can hear him working out from the editing room.

00:30:41.140 It's not pretty.

00:30:42.720 Sorry, David.

00:30:43.420 We shouldn't be making fun of you so much while you're done.

00:30:44.760 Well, I love David Menzies.

00:30:45.800 Everyone knows I love David Menzies.

00:30:46.880 Everyone knows David Menzies and I fist fight after every live stream we do.

00:30:51.020 I love when people are just like, you're so mean to David.

00:30:53.720 You got to stop.

00:30:55.020 I'll stop when David Menzies stop being mean to me.

00:30:57.080 You guys don't know what he does to me.

00:30:58.440 Yeah.

00:30:59.160 It goes both ways.

00:31:00.840 He does impressions of me.

00:31:01.980 He does impressions of Andrew.

00:31:03.300 He says I walk a certain way.

00:31:04.920 It's really racist, you guys.

00:31:07.720 Rebelnewsplus.com is also something.

00:31:09.640 We'll get to that later.

00:31:10.540 We can't overload you guys with the website right now, I don't think.

00:31:14.880 You're on it anyways.

00:31:16.380 Sheila had an update with Pastor Arter, which, of course, is an international story.

00:31:20.980 Arter Pawlowski, his brother, David Pawlowski, with Ws, of course, because they're Polish.

00:31:27.320 And things are going off the chain.

00:31:29.500 And by that, I mean Alberta is supposed to be free now.

00:31:31.760 They're supposed to have no restrictions anymore.

00:31:33.900 But they still want to mess with the Pawlowskis for some reason. 1.00

00:31:38.040 They still have them kind of living in fear.

00:31:40.520 I'm not sure if they're where they're at right now.

00:31:43.960 I think they're still in the States.

00:31:46.120 Are they?

00:31:46.960 That was my last understanding.

00:31:48.880 Well, the problem is you shouldn't be fearing religious persecution in Alberta, of all places.

00:31:53.820 They tell you how free it is there.

00:31:55.780 So we have Sheila's update we can get to, Justin.

00:31:58.020 Let's go ahead and play that.

00:31:58.940 This isn't the first time the Alberta government has sent me a big fee to block me from asking questions about their treatment of pastors and congregations who obey God's laws and God's commands over that of men.

00:32:11.140 It's actually, at this point, becoming a little bit of a pattern.

00:32:13.540 Now, last week, I told you about how the provincial government, quite specifically the Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General, has put in place a paywall for documents and information relating to the ongoing prosecution or persecution, depending how you look at it, of Pastor James Coates of Grace Life Church, west of Edmonton.

00:32:35.480 Now, for those of you who don't know, Coates and Grace Life Church garnered both international attention and months and months of police and Alberta Health Services harassment and surveillance after the pastor there and the congregation refused to comply with public health orders that would limit the church attendance to just 15% of fire code capacity and force congregants to wear masks and social distance.

00:33:02.300 And, Grace Life said, grace life said, grace life said that this was a violation of religious freedom, expression, and assembly.

00:33:08.320 The whole affair resulted in the arrest of Pastor Coates twice, wherein, upon the second arrest, he served 35 days in Edmonton's maximum security remand center, unable to agree to bail conditions that would require him to limit his church attendance.

00:33:22.300 However, in the interim, the church just kept meeting with Associate Pastor Jake Spence at the pulpit.

00:33:30.360 So, then Coates was released after a deal was struck, and the province moved in to seize the church property for three months, forcing the congregation to meet in secret.

00:33:42.440 Now, when I asked for government documents about how the persecution of Grace Life came to be and what happened in the aftermath, I was hit with a nearly $2,000 bill to discourage my curiosity.

00:33:58.040 Do you know me? The opposite has happened.

00:34:00.360 I know there's something there for me to see now, and I'm going to find it, and donors to rebelinvestigates.com are helping me do that.

00:34:08.720 And that's why I kept asking about the other pastors being brought to their metaphorical and literal knees through the tip of the Roman spear here in Alberta, like Pastor Art Poloski from Calgary.

00:34:23.640 We've all seen the viral images of him on his knees in a SWAT-style takedown on a Calgary street for the crime of reopening his church.

00:34:32.220 That resulted in two days in jail for him, and if you've been following the case, you'll know.

00:34:36.980 The province is asking for 21 more days in jail from Pastor Art for contempt of the court order the government used to close his church as a, quote, illegal public gathering.

00:34:48.660 Now, you can see the full story, see all the updates from the lawyers, and help fund a fulsome and aggressive legal defense of Pastor Art Poloski and his brother David at saveartur.com.

00:35:00.820 That's saveartur.com.

00:35:02.900 Now, my colleagues, K2 and Adam Sosa in Calgary, have been working overtime to cover the plight of Pastor Art and his congregation.

00:35:10.480 They're doing a great job, but I wanted to help them, doing one of the things I think I do well around here, and that's access to information.

00:35:18.160 So, naturally, I asked the Alberta government to provide copies of all documents, including emails, texts or instant messages, Slack messages, WhatsApp messages, memos, briefing notes, correspondence, reports, etc.

00:35:34.440 Basically, everything regarding Pastor Art Poloski of Street Church in Calgary since January 1st, 2020, until when I asked for these documents on May 21st, just a couple of months ago.

00:35:45.700 And instead of receiving documents, I received a fee estimate of nearly $1,250 to get access to 1,040 pages, wherein I would have to pay a government worker about 35 hours to prepare those documents for release to me.

00:36:04.800 And the government wants about $625 of that amount immediately.

00:36:09.940 I need to tell them, if I want these documents, by August 3rd, we are going to pay it begrudgingly while appealing the costs.

00:36:19.140 But here's where I ask you for help.

00:36:21.620 Can you help us offset the costs?

00:36:23.300 We don't get government bailouts to ask boring questions you at home don't even care about to politicians who aren't even remotely scared of us to create content you would never pay for if you had a choice in the matter.

00:36:36.180 We rely on the support of people like you at home to help us.

00:36:39.480 If you'd like to help me find out what the Alberta government was saying about Pastor Art Poloski and his brother and his church before, during, and after they arrested those two men and held them for reopening their congregation, please donate today at rebelinvestigates.com.

00:37:00.320 And thanks again to all of you at home who have already donated to help us hold the government, all governments, to account on behalf of the people.

00:37:08.980 For Rebel News, I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed.

00:37:12.320 Sheila is great at the Freedom of Information request business that she does.

00:37:17.620 And, of course, most notably probably the Wuhan lab funding by Justin Trudeau was uncovered through that by Sheila Gunn-Reed.

00:37:25.680 And I think it was them accidentally graying out instead of blacking out the stuff, if I recall correctly, which, of course, turned into the Fauci funding of it and all that other stuff.

00:37:37.280 Allegedly, of course, you guys.

00:37:39.140 But I don't know what's going on there in Alberta.

00:37:43.000 Once you think that they're on the right track again, they just sort of pull you back in.

00:37:48.700 And they must have some sort of vendetta for these pastors, skirting them for so long and refusing to shut down.

00:37:56.300 And I have always been of the nature that you cannot tell a religious people how to worship or how to congregate.

00:38:03.480 I thought that was part of our Charter and Rites of Freedoms.

00:38:06.120 But as producer Mocha would say, it's just a piece of paper and apparently it can be taken away at any time.

00:38:11.440 Do you have any thoughts on that?

00:38:12.960 Yeah.

00:38:13.200 I mean, the Pastor Archer story is so interesting because he came from a dictatorship where he was –

00:38:20.160 he lived through extreme poverty, bread lines and no freedom, no freedom of speech, no freedom of religion.

00:38:27.060 And he came to North America to escape that.

00:38:29.180 And now he's experiencing it all over again.

00:38:31.160 And that's why it's so sad.

00:38:32.500 People who have not lived through communism don't understand what it looks like.

00:38:36.760 And then you have lefty university students in Canada and in the U.S. saying like, oh, go socialism, go communism.

00:38:44.140 Those people don't understand what it is.

00:38:45.660 And then you have someone who's actually lived through it who's almost experiencing it all over again.

00:38:49.360 And in our democracy, and that's the most troubling part.

00:38:52.800 Like now Pastor Art is not going to – he's not going to believe in Canada like he did when he moved here.

00:38:58.740 And that makes me sad because my grandfather fought in World War II.

00:39:01.920 And he fought for exactly the kind of things that Pastor Art was trying to escape from the Eastern European –

00:39:08.200 I think it was the Ukraine that he's from.

00:39:10.160 So it makes me very sad.

00:39:12.240 Well, it's the same thing excuse-making happening for Cuba right now.

00:39:15.780 And there was a global news piece out of, I think, Manitoba.

00:39:19.800 I could be wrong.

00:39:20.900 But they had a woman on there commentating that, you know, the reason Cuba is failing is because of American sanctions.

00:39:29.120 And because the U.S. has just been so terrible to Cuba over the last 50 years.

00:39:33.780 And they haven't been trading with them.

00:39:36.940 And it's all excuse-making because they have the no-true-Scotsman theory, which is this isn't real communism.

00:39:43.060 It can't possibly be the reason that it's failing.

00:39:46.240 And for some reason, I guess, you need capitalist countries for communism or socialism to be able to survive, which makes no sense.

00:39:52.760 Absolutely no sense.

00:39:53.920 Because if you can't survive without capitalism, then that means your system doesn't work, unfortunately.

00:40:00.620 So shout-out to all the Cubans who are in, I think, Kian Simone's video, K2.

00:40:06.200 I guess he's going to have to change his name, like Cher or something, because everyone's going to know him as K2.

00:40:10.940 But he had a good video with Cuban protesters.

00:40:16.620 And so I just want to shout-out to the people fighting against communism there.

00:40:19.340 Also, and I've been to Cuba multiple times when I was a kid with family.

00:40:23.860 I will not be going back, obviously.

00:40:26.060 But someone at the protest there, a Cuban individual, said,

00:40:29.900 Please, Canadians, don't visit Cuba because you're giving money to that government, that regime who is awful, awful.

00:40:37.060 So I won't be going to Cuba again.

00:40:39.420 I have a feeling that the tourism companies weren't exactly operating in a communist sense, more of a statist sense like China would be.

00:40:49.340 Let's pull up rebelnewsplus.com, producer Justin, because people ask us, should I donate?

00:40:56.120 Should I sign up for Rebel News Plus?

00:40:57.580 If you want to get to the premium shows, which, of course, includes my show,

00:41:02.660 and Rebel Roundup from David Menzies, which I was also on this week.

00:41:06.360 I'm just all over the place.

00:41:08.280 And, of course, the gun show with Sheila Gunn-Reed and Ezra Levant's show, which is every single night,

00:41:13.240 because, obviously, he's the most popular.

00:41:17.060 You can go to rebelnewsplus.com, and there are all of our faces.

00:41:19.980 There's David Menzies' pictures from, I don't know, when he was auditioning for the Joker, I think,

00:41:25.540 is where that photo is from.

00:41:27.260 But David's show is a lot of fun.

00:41:29.360 He goes through our best videos, gets commentary from lots of people, including myself this week.

00:41:34.340 Including myself a couple weeks ago, too.

00:41:35.800 There you go.

00:41:36.340 It was my first time.

00:41:37.200 And Sheila really covers the issues out there in Alberta and BC and everything.

00:41:42.080 And Ezra just covers everything, because Ezra is basically leading the charge on a lot of this stuff.

00:41:47.580 And you can sign up for, as we suggest, the yearly package, which gives you three months free when all is said and done,

00:41:54.180 because you get two extra months, plus a free trial of one month.

00:41:57.600 So you can sort of try it out for 30 days and see if you like it.

00:42:00.960 So that's the yearly annual one for $80, which saves you a bunch of money.

00:42:04.740 Or you can go, you know, month by month, $8 per month.

00:42:08.380 Or you can be an exclusive Producers Club member for $250 a month.

00:42:13.860 And what you get with that is you're going to get early access to stuff.

00:42:16.500 You get in on our polling.

00:42:18.820 And we're getting events coming up soon.

00:42:21.780 We know everything's been locked in for a year and a half, and you guys are dying to get out and do something.

00:42:26.560 So we're planning events.

00:42:28.240 And I believe you get first access if you sign up for the Producers Club.

00:42:31.640 Producer Justin nod along, if I'm saying correctly.

00:42:34.480 Thank you.

00:42:35.140 Very good.

00:42:35.780 We need one of those, like, so many shows have, like, a producer cam in the back.

00:42:40.320 We need a producer cam for Justin.

00:42:42.300 Because he'd rather stay in the shadows.

00:42:45.120 He'd rather not be known.

00:42:46.280 He belongs in the spotlight, though.

00:42:47.800 If he's gone this long without having his face seen, then I respect that. 0.52

00:42:51.080 It's just like, you know, that artist that no one's ever seen.

00:42:54.720 See ya?

00:42:55.480 No, Banksy, I believe.

00:42:56.880 I don't follow it at all, but I know he's an artist that people aren't exactly sure who he is.

00:43:00.700 I think people know who he is now.

00:43:01.960 I don't.

00:43:02.760 I don't either.

00:43:03.680 But people do.

00:43:04.440 But do people know who producer Justin is?

00:43:06.380 I don't know.

00:43:06.960 I think we need to have a camera on him.

00:43:08.880 And then he presses the button and gives his commentary for five seconds.

00:43:11.720 I think he would love that.

00:43:13.060 Do we have more chats to get to, Justin?

00:43:16.260 Okay, we'll get to a couple more.

00:43:17.520 And then we'll show some very funny Tucker Carlson, Geraldo Rivera clips.

00:43:22.580 I'm using my phone just so I don't have a big laptop sitting in front of me.

00:43:25.960 And usually we can't trust David Manzies to read Super Chats in any formidable way.

00:43:32.700 Atomic Dogs has said the government has declared war on religion.

00:43:35.860 Yes, it is very sad.

00:43:38.660 Like I said, I thought that there were certain things that could not be infringed upon in this country.

00:43:43.700 Freedom of religion, freedom of movement.

00:43:46.000 Freedom to congregate.

00:43:47.520 Freedom to congregate.

00:43:50.480 And I guess not cover your face.

00:43:52.720 But it turns out that we don't have a real constitution.

00:43:56.280 Now, for comparison's sake, if you're wondering, in even a place as liberal as California,

00:44:02.200 churches sued the government for the right to congregate unlimited and they won.

00:44:06.160 In New Jersey, the gym owner sued the government to be able to open his business.

00:44:10.780 He won.

00:44:11.760 In Canada, there's nothing concrete.

00:44:14.840 And it's a huge problem.

00:44:15.900 There's nothing actually concrete that we can fall back upon and say these are in inalienable rights, whether you believe it's from God, for yourself, wherever.

00:44:24.440 Just rights that cannot be infringed upon.

00:44:27.560 Infringed upon. 1.00

00:44:28.500 We do not have this.

00:44:29.580 So whenever the government declares an emergency, and if you trust Doug Ford, that's like, there's no sugar for my cake in the house.

00:44:37.580 Or who else can we?

00:44:39.440 Jason Kenney.

00:44:40.500 There's no rooftops for me to eat on.

00:44:43.160 Whenever they declare an emergency, that means you can't protest.

00:44:46.420 You can't congregate.

00:44:47.280 You can't do what you want.

00:44:48.300 Section one of the charter.

00:44:50.420 You can't move between provinces, even though I'm sure if you lived and you were coming back that they couldn't actually stop you.

00:44:56.420 They picked and choose there.

00:44:58.080 But my point is that there needs to be a change in some way.

00:45:01.360 And I'm not talking about a radical takeover of the government.

00:45:03.780 I just mean there needs to be change in some way where we can protect any rights that we clearly don't have.

00:45:09.840 Because when the government says, you know, it's too dangerous for you, we can just take them away.

00:45:13.800 And there's too many people that agree with that, I think.

00:45:15.500 There's too many people that say, well, you shouldn't be doing that.

00:45:18.260 But it's just like, who gets to decide what I get to do as a person?

00:45:22.400 And I guess the counterargument for that would be, and I'd like to hear your opinion on this, is like, this is what we elect people for.

00:45:27.900 We elect them to make these decisions.

00:45:29.660 And if after however long we don't like what they're doing, then we vote them out.

00:45:33.420 How do you feel about this?

00:45:34.740 Well, I think that if there's an election coming up soon, we need to take that opportunity to vote out the Trudeau government.

00:45:40.060 But it's unlikely that that will happen because people are so complacent.

00:45:44.400 And they're happy to live in their little fear cradles and just go along with the narrative.

00:45:49.180 And I made a tweet about it a couple weeks ago.

00:45:51.620 You know, my generation loves Star Wars, loves Star Wars.

00:45:55.260 And they all want to think of themselves as the rebels and flying around and shooting up the Death Star.

00:46:00.320 But 99% of the people I know would just be stormtroopers going along with whatever dictation comes down from the evil empire.

00:46:07.840 So it's interesting.

00:46:09.500 Where's that fire?

00:46:10.900 Where's that rebel spirit?

00:46:12.320 We all grew up listening to punk rock, right?

00:46:14.700 Did we?

00:46:16.320 I listen to Britney Spears.

00:46:17.580 But I think the idea is, like, if you grew up in the 90s, you consider yourself a little bit of a rebel.

00:46:22.660 But we're not.

00:46:23.320 I mean, we are.

00:46:24.320 Well, if you ask writer Dave in the back, he's on the side of the empire.

00:46:29.920 He takes the, well, which side is evil?

00:46:31.880 It's all about perspective.

00:46:33.180 Dave's an empire supporter.

00:46:35.220 So if you want to...

00:46:36.420 Dave, I liked Dave.

00:46:37.260 I don't know how you guys can contact him, maybe on Twitter or something.

00:46:40.480 But ask him about Star Wars. 0.98

00:46:43.040 Lisa Ann says, damn work has been getting in the way of my rebel time. 0.97

00:46:47.540 Well, you know, I hope that you'll find ways to get your David Menzies fix. 0.98

00:46:52.800 I'm pretty sure this is one of David's big fans.

00:46:55.280 But David's out there.

00:46:56.580 Just give him a call.

00:46:58.780 Rumble chat from MVP.

00:47:01.360 Catherine needs to do more live shows. 1.00

00:47:02.820 So you've got a fan in a guy named MVP9337.

00:47:06.960 Look out for MVP9337.

00:47:09.920 Man on the street videos, I guess.

00:47:11.560 No, I'm just kidding.

00:47:13.020 Geraldo Rivera is filling in on a show on Fox.

00:47:16.560 I believe The Five this week, if you guys are a fan of Fox News.

00:47:20.660 I'm a fan of a couple shows and hosts on Fox.

00:47:23.420 Not overall.

00:47:24.140 They get pretty mainstream on us.

00:47:25.920 But I like that show.

00:47:27.440 I'm glad that you didn't leave.

00:47:27.800 He was filling in.

00:47:29.500 And he had a little bit of a spat, they called it, with Tucker Carlson,

00:47:33.980 where he really just asked him about the border and asked him to explain himself.

00:47:37.440 And he couldn't really do it.

00:47:38.540 And he was basically saved by the bell.

00:47:40.480 Can we play that, Justin?

00:47:41.280 I'm glad that you didn't lead with the migrants bringing COVID in, 1.00

00:47:46.120 as too many reports that I've seen in recent days do,

00:47:50.700 because those overblown health fears are the xenophobic reaction to immigrants since the Irish in the 19th century.

00:47:58.200 They get arrested for not wearing a mask in this country.

00:48:00.960 Oh, well, it's fair.

00:48:01.580 The Chinese in the 1880s, the Italians, the turn of the century, the Jews from Eastern Europe,

00:48:08.240 they're all bringing smallpox, they're all bringing tuberculosis.

00:48:12.320 You know, Aroldo, we live in a country where we are being forced to take a vaccine that some people,

00:48:16.900 newsflash, don't want to take, that Americans can be arrested for not wearing a mask because COVID is so serious.

00:48:22.200 But foreign nationals break our laws carrying COVID and somehow they're exempt from the requirements that we live under? 0.99

00:48:27.660 That's not xenophobia.

00:48:29.100 That's equal application of the law.

00:48:31.000 And it's not happening now.

00:48:32.200 And it's an appalling double standard that every American, including you, should be mad about.

00:48:36.900 Well, I'm mad about exaggeration and hype.

00:48:40.440 What?

00:48:41.100 It's a policy.

00:48:42.200 They are not forcing.

00:48:43.600 Look, if you work in the federal government, you have to get the vaccine.

00:48:46.500 But if you break our laws as an illegal alien, you don't. 0.99

00:48:49.060 Why don't you explain why that's a good idea to me?

00:48:51.020 Well, I don't think the segment's about me.

00:48:52.700 I would be glad to, but I think I would rather refer to it than let Jesse be in this other.

00:48:58.120 And Greg's going to ask you about fishing.

00:48:59.860 Geraldo, this is what we've been – Tucker, this is what we've been dealing with all week with Geraldo.

00:49:05.020 So I'm just – my apologies on the shows we have.

00:49:07.640 I love Geraldo.

00:49:09.520 Now, it's funny because they – on that show, there's supposed to be one person who's a blatant liberal.

00:49:15.100 And Geraldo's supposed to be conservative, but he comes on and he fulfills the liberal part.

00:49:20.200 And it's like Geraldo never has the side of – he's not as bad as the woman called Anna Navarro who worked for CNN who claims she's a Republican.

00:49:29.320 But works for CNN and completely agrees with everything they say.

00:49:32.960 But Geraldo's never really been – I don't know if I can use the word credible or not.

00:49:37.580 But he's never been like anything special.

00:49:40.340 He's had good shows.

00:49:41.400 He's been entertaining.

00:49:42.620 But something I wrote down during that is he had this huge special once on Fox where he was uncovering Al Capone's vault.

00:49:48.760 And I don't know, Justin, if you can quickly search for that.

00:49:51.120 It's probably a really old article.

00:49:52.880 But Al Capone – or Geraldo Rivera had this huge special on Fox where they were going to unveil the vault live.

00:49:58.640 Who knows what they're going to find.

00:49:59.880 And they opened it up and it was completely empty.

00:50:01.860 So it was pretty funny.

00:50:03.420 Geraldo has just been all over the place year after year.

00:50:06.840 I'm surprised that he's still on.

00:50:08.460 But I'm guessing he's coming on for that, you know, little playoff.

00:50:12.540 And he's lucky that he didn't have to fulfill that segment.

00:50:15.260 So the problem at the border, Catherine, how come I didn't notice that you and Catherine kind of have the same name?

00:50:21.600 You should have been best friends. 0.94

00:50:22.360 That's very silly of you. 0.96

00:50:23.680 It's literally the same name. 0.97

00:50:25.120 Yeah.

00:50:25.700 Mine is spelled with a K, though, and she's a C. 0.96

00:50:27.620 And hers isn't.

00:50:28.700 K is the problem.

00:50:29.280 What did you just – she's a what? 1.00

00:50:31.220 Anyways, so at the southern border, they had a record illegal migrant flow in June under Joe Biden.

00:50:39.540 And, of course, 190,000 people in one month crossing the border illegally or completely – who knows how many people actually made it that weren't apprehended.

00:50:52.120 But 190 –

00:50:52.340 It's going to be a lot of tears for AOC.

00:50:54.680 Of course.

00:50:55.360 A lot of tears.

00:50:56.020 Now, if you do the math, there's – and I did the math.

00:50:59.760 It turns out to be 17 people per border agent.

00:51:03.440 So it's a crazy amount of work they're expected to do on the southern border.

00:51:07.880 They could have just built the wall.

00:51:09.740 Joe Biden started rebuilding the wall a few months ago because he realized that in some places you just can't deal without it.

00:51:15.780 You can't just –

00:51:16.540 There's already a wall in many places because it's, you know, it's a border.

00:51:20.600 Well, the first order that they came in, the first order of business was stop, halt production of the wall.

00:51:26.280 And then they realized that they was working in certain places that it reinstated.

00:51:29.760 And what I was thinking is 190,000 people at the southern border, a couple years ago when people started coming over Roxham Road en masse, there was a huge uproar, about 10,000 people.

00:51:43.040 And that's all coming from – in one month.

00:51:44.740 And that's all coming from that one place where they come to the border, they say we'll arrest you, and then they take your bags for you, send you off to a hotel, and who knows what happens.

00:51:52.980 They don't let them all stay in Canada, of course. 0.98

00:51:55.580 But it's people flying into America to cross the border into Canada.

00:52:00.760 And the same thing is happening at the southern border in the states now.

00:52:03.920 You see West African guys coming across the border.

00:52:06.560 There's footage of that all from last week where it's all 20, 30-year-old men.

00:52:11.020 They come in, they're wearing like Nike soccer jerseys and stuff like that.

00:52:15.920 They do a cross so you know they're from a Christian country, and a lot of them are speaking French so you know they're from a West African French country.

00:52:24.140 And these are people who are flying into either Mexico or a Central American country and walking across the border.

00:52:30.240 And they're praising God when they get across the border because they know they're going to be treated so well.

00:52:33.860 And now people are coming out with articles saying that why do you need to be a citizen to be able to vote?

00:52:39.020 Why do you need to be a permanent resident to be able to vote?

00:52:42.000 So it's literally bringing in people so that you can sway the voting demographics.

00:52:47.480 I don't care about race or religion or whatever you are.

00:52:49.960 It's ideas that matter.

00:52:51.320 And the fact is that when you come into a country from a country that you are clearly fleeing from and want to come to America because their social programs are so vast,

00:53:00.500 and they accept more refugees and immigrants than any country in the world, you're going to vote for the people who gave you all this free stuff.

00:53:07.960 You're going to vote for the people that said, OK, you can come in and we're going to helicopter you or fly you to a place which has been happening secretly and give you a new life there and say,

00:53:19.380 screw everybody else who has to pay for it in taxes.

00:53:22.020 I don't know how you feel about all that stuff, but I just think that it's become so – everything's becoming so swept under the rug because it's all lockdowns, vaccines, mask mandates.

00:53:34.220 It seems like this is all distractions they're trying to pull for as long as they can so that we can – forget about our gas prices being $1.40 this morning in Ontario.

00:53:43.240 Forget about the southern border in the United States.

00:53:46.100 Forget about their huge inflation.

00:53:47.680 Forget about the pipeline that was canceled that caused all of this to happen.

00:53:51.060 Forget about our crashing dollar.

00:53:52.940 Forget about all this stuff, and forget about your censorship.

00:53:56.700 Just focus on fear.

00:53:57.880 Yeah, you can't even talk about it.

00:53:59.700 And I know I'm ranting, but this is just all the stuff that's going on right now, and it's sad to see people still saying – and even some people that email us still saying,

00:54:08.240 well, you guys just need to follow the law.

00:54:10.060 Pastor Artur just needs to follow the law.

00:54:11.700 Why can't he just be like other religious people who just stayed at home and did Zoom calls? 1.00

00:54:16.580 Because that's not how – you're not supposed to just be able to take away a person's rights.

00:54:19.860 And if you think that everything's not going to come back, take a look at Australia.

00:54:24.080 Take a look at how quickly things get imposed if you don't say anything or don't do anything.

00:54:28.820 Now, I hope Doug Ford's – and I want to get your opinion on this.

00:54:31.120 I hope Doug Ford's plan is not to lock us back down in the fall.

00:54:35.640 But producer Justin was saying before the show that Health Canada is now saying we're preparing for a fourth wave.

00:54:41.380 Yeah, I saw that.

00:54:41.820 Maybe we can pull that up, producer Justin.

00:54:43.740 So I want to know what you think about all of this.

00:54:47.340 Well, I said that they're going to start calling it Epsilon, which is the – what is it, Greek or Latin for four?

00:54:53.720 Because we had the Delta variant is in – this is just my tinfoil hat theory.

00:54:58.200 But it's like people were getting sick of the language of first wave, second wave.

00:55:02.020 They didn't want to hear third wave.

00:55:02.980 So they're saying Delta variant, and now we're going to get the fourth wave, a.k.a. Epsilon, which is what I'm calling it.

00:55:10.900 But it's like – it's just never-ending.

00:55:12.540 And we saw this week that they – is it Israel or Australia that's offering the booster shot, the third shot?

00:55:20.320 Israel, so it's producer Justin.

00:55:21.640 Israel.

00:55:22.220 Also in the U.S., they're offering $100 for anybody who gets their first dose now.

00:55:26.940 I was looking at the numbers for New York State and New York City, where they are suggesting – well, they're not just suggesting.

00:55:34.180 Governor Cuomo says we're going door-to-door.

00:55:36.100 The goal is to get people to come with us in a car and go get their vaccine, which is, of course, insane.

00:55:40.600 That's terrifying.

00:55:41.380 What happens if you say no?

00:55:42.700 And they're at about 60%.

00:55:44.040 They're hovering around 60% in New York State and New York City.

00:55:46.740 So you're talking about – I think the number was around 3.5 million people that you're going to have to, quote, unquote, round up voluntarily to go get this vaccine.

00:55:55.020 Or else, what, nothing can stay open?

00:55:57.980 I don't know what the goal is.

00:55:59.160 All this language is – like you've said in this live stream, you've said that we're going to have to show papers, that they're going to start rounding people up.

00:56:07.740 It's true.

00:56:08.760 The language is just shocking because people make jokes, and we make jokes about the Holocaust.

00:56:14.640 And not about the Holocaust, but about how some people are saying that we're having our rights infringed so much, it's starting to look that way.

00:56:22.280 But then it's like, okay, don't be crazy.

00:56:24.540 Let's not diminish the suffering.

00:56:26.740 Of course, we don't want to do that.

00:56:28.200 But then when we hear language, like rounding people up, showing me your papers, it's like –

00:56:32.280 Well, the goalpost shifting is what the thing that I've always had a problem with.

00:56:36.880 First, it was let's keep cases numbers down.

00:56:39.000 Then it was let's keep hospitalizations down.

00:56:41.080 Then let's keep deaths down.

00:56:42.760 Now let's get vaccinations. 0.83

00:56:44.580 Let's get them to a certain marker.

00:56:46.300 Let's get herd immunity at 60% to 70%.

00:56:48.280 And now they're just going, we need 100% vaccination and we need COVID zero, which is impossible in both directions.

00:56:56.480 From my studying of the numbers across North America, most places are capping out.

00:57:02.280 Like Ontario is ahead.

00:57:03.380 Ontario is like 70%.

00:57:04.760 70%.

00:57:05.540 Most places, like I said, New York, super liberal.

00:57:08.160 They're just below 60%.

00:57:09.860 I think if you're being very generous, you're going to cap out at 80%, and that's being very generous.

00:57:14.680 You're never going to get the last 20% to 30% of people to do it.

00:57:18.240 You just won't.

00:57:18.920 And it's young people they're trying to get.

00:57:20.600 And young people are probably being like, I am healthy.

00:57:22.800 I don't need this.

00:57:23.940 Nobody's died from this, quote, unquote.

00:57:25.760 Nobody.

00:57:26.280 It's hyperbolic, I know.

00:57:27.480 So a few people have died or are hospitalized from this.

00:57:30.220 Well, I get it.

00:57:31.080 But when you're capping out at 60%, 70% all across the country, and now all of a sudden that's not good enough, even though that was your original murder.

00:57:38.300 That was our original goal.

00:57:39.700 What else do you want?

00:57:40.960 Well, they want us to identify ourselves.

00:57:43.380 That's what I'm seeing a lot of people.

00:57:44.800 The rhetoric is now, and we saw it in Alexa's video, but the poutine QR codes at that festival, multiple people that she asked, do you think that the QR code was a good idea to be able to be admitted into this event?

00:57:57.160 And a lot of them said, oh, yes, we need to be able to identify who's been vaccinated and who's not.

00:58:03.180 What, are we supposed to wear a star on our arm or something?

00:58:04.940 Like, we have to walk around telling people, I'm not vaccinated, I'm not vaccinated, so you can stay away from me because I'm a carrier of disease.

00:58:11.200 It's messed up.

00:58:12.100 Do we have, I think it was Ezra tweeted yesterday, Vancouver public health was, a health sector from Vancouver was suggesting yellow stars.

00:58:21.720 So instead of us sounding hyperbolic, let's go ahead and pull it up before we run out of time here.

00:58:28.440 And we'll go for some chats here in the meantime.

00:58:31.600 Producer Justin is threatening me again.

00:58:34.220 It never stops.

00:58:35.480 You talk about coercion.

00:58:36.920 You talk about Producer Justin.

00:58:39.140 Atomic Dog says, Producer Justin needs at least a mic.

00:58:42.700 Enjoyed the show.

00:58:43.920 You guys are working well together.

00:58:46.400 Producer Justin, yeah, you do need, I want Howard Stern style.

00:58:51.140 We cut back to him and we make fun of him.

00:58:53.340 That's never going to happen, I guess.

00:58:55.980 Lao Tor from Rumble says, kids aren't in Ontario schools in September.

00:59:02.840 I think even the normies will start fighting back.

00:59:04.740 Will they though?

00:59:05.720 We're 16, 17 months in.

00:59:07.780 Super U, Mog, $1.66.9 a liter in Vancouver.

00:59:14.500 That is insanity.

00:59:16.000 So that's 30 cents more than here right now.

00:59:18.320 Remember when it hit a dollar and everyone was freaking out.

00:59:20.640 And now it's like, just keep going.

00:59:22.920 Let's get our horse and buggy to work. 0.60

00:59:25.800 Hyper chat from Enoch the Salty Pretzel.

00:59:28.900 I hope you're copywriting that name.

00:59:30.760 We are fully into the engineered fourth wave here in Israel. 0.92

00:59:34.760 I don't know what you mean by engineered.

00:59:36.960 It probably just means that things that they're making up at this point to keep things locked down.

00:59:41.820 So, and then we've got Ezra's tweet that I talked about, just so you don't think we're making things up.

00:59:48.180 So where is this from, producer Justin?

00:59:50.360 The yellow star for double vaccination.

00:59:53.800 Yes.

00:59:54.600 So they get this when they are vaccinated.

00:59:56.660 Yeah, it's funny.

00:59:57.520 It's the opposite of what I was talking about.

00:59:59.160 So it's reversed.

00:59:59.960 So that was just like 60% of the people are going to be walking around with yellow stars.

01:00:03.420 Complete.

01:00:03.820 On one hand, the person in their best case scenario is we're rewarding everybody.

01:00:08.860 Exactly.

01:00:09.400 Like we're kindergarten children.

01:00:11.280 On the other hand, you're using gold stars to identify people with something.

01:00:14.220 You have to either...

01:00:15.820 It's a bad look.

01:00:16.580 Yeah, it's a very bad look.

01:00:18.020 You don't want to do it.

01:00:18.860 British Columbia, I guess the gas prices and the thought process there are really going along the same lines.

01:00:23.940 Thanks to everybody for watching.

01:00:25.620 Thanks to Catherine for filling in with me.

01:00:28.140 David the Menzoid Menzies will be back. 1.00

01:00:30.460 Menzaloid, I've been calling him lately.

01:00:31.580 Menzaloid.

01:00:32.140 We'll be back.

01:00:33.160 Sheila Gunn-Reed will be back.

01:00:34.860 I leave Ezra will be back on here on Monday afternoon, depending on your time zone, of course.

01:00:39.920 So thanks for your chats.

01:00:41.020 Thanks for your comments.

01:00:42.080 And keep watching our stories.

01:00:43.560 Go ahead and watch my show.

01:00:44.980 She's got a new video with Catherine McKenna coming out where they just talk about being Catherines together, I guess.

01:00:50.460 Thanks for watching.

01:00:51.440 Thanks, Producer Justin.

01:00:52.620 Do we get a guitar or is that too artificial?

01:00:55.800 It's too artificial.

01:00:57.300 He's a man of principle.

01:00:58.760 Thanks, everybody, for watching.

01:00:59.780 I won't say David Menzies' tagline.

01:01:01.600 Have a good day.

01:01:02.420 Have a good day.

01:01:02.440 Have a good day.
