Rebel News Podcast - DAILY Roundup ｜ CBC wants censorship, Buying drugs in BC, Billboard Chris attacked in Portland

00:00:00.000 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, you have tuned into the Daily Roundup on this

00:00:20.060 a Thursday, May 4th, 2023. I'm David Menzies and my co-host, well, let me tell you a little

00:00:27.540 bit about my co-host. Do you know, folks, that today is May the 4th be with you? And she

00:00:35.760 is so excited about that. She has set her phasers on fun. Oh yeah, nerds, I know phasers is a 1.00

00:00:44.300 Star Trek term, not a Star Wars term, but just roll with it. She is the she-devil with the 1.00

00:00:49.120 spatula. She's the Khaleesi of BC. She is Drea Humphrey. How you doing there, Drea? And

00:00:55.440 what are you, a Star Trek or a Star Wars fan? Or neither? I am neither, I would say. I do

00:01:02.860 remember, like, family members watching it and me, like, just playing with Barbies, hitting

00:01:07.340 it in the corner. But my brothers are big Star Wars fans, so I've seen all of the Star Wars

00:01:12.740 stuff. I just had a feeling, I hearken back to high school, none of the cool girls were 0.70

00:01:18.580 into science fiction for some reason. And you're proving that hypothesis. But we have

00:01:26.280 a certain head honcho in Ottawa who seems to be really into Star Wars. We'll get to that

00:01:32.520 in a second. But what are the ground rules, such as they are, Drea, in terms of what we're

00:01:39.300 ostensibly trying to do here today? Well, welcome everybody to the Daily Roundup Live, where we go

00:01:45.860 over the latest current events in this crazy world. And we take you with us. It's pretty

00:01:51.680 interactive because you guys have the opportunity of joining in. And you can do so on Rumble or

00:01:58.220 Odyssey. If you go there, there are live chat options where you can comment in, give your advice

00:02:04.600 or comments about what we're discussing in the latest news. And if you donate $5 more, we

00:02:09.700 try to read those. And that also helps support our journalism here. And we're also letting people

00:02:15.780 know about Locals.com. We're getting smarter. You know, we know Bill C-11's passed. We know

00:02:22.380 the censorship goal. So we are uniting our people together in a community that stands for free

00:02:29.480 speech. If you go to Locals.com, we usually have a link in the description box below and

00:02:34.300 you can join our community. And again, if you want to be a supporter there, not only will

00:02:38.660 you get our free content that's up there, but you will also get our exclusive content, which

00:02:42.740 includes things like documentaries, includes, you know, footage that hasn't been seen before

00:02:48.160 and the lovely Ezra LeVant show. So great place to be if you're tired of all the censorship.

00:02:55.000 That's Locals.com.

00:02:57.020 Fantastic. And we'll have also an announcement of some great new Mother's Day merchandise

00:03:01.140 coming up. By the way, I must say, Drea, you look resplendent in that beautiful Patriot

00:03:07.140 t-shirt. Am I allowed to say that, Mr. Producer? I'm not going to get in trouble with HR again,

00:03:11.280 eh? Okay. No, just checking. So as teased, well, well, well, our part-time drama teacher

00:03:20.120 slash full-time prime minister, that would be blackface himself. He evidently had a very 0.99

00:03:25.280 important message for Canadians. Yeah. Why is my spidey senses already tingling? Roll it.

00:03:33.300 Yeah, there's no audio. Oh, there's no audio. Okay.

00:03:38.260 It's just him.

00:03:39.780 Boy, this is really bad TV, isn't it?

00:03:42.720 So this is Justin Trudeau's big reveal in terms of a very important message for Canadians. It is

00:03:51.060 May the 4th be with you. Wow. That was way lamer than my intro for you, Drea Humphrey, I've got to

00:03:59.180 say. But you know what? It springs to mind, since we're on the Star Wars file, maybe someone can send

00:04:04.480 in a super chat about this. What Star Wars or even Star Trek character comes to mind when you think of

00:04:11.760 blackface? For me, it's Darth Vader in Star Wars and the way he's putting our constitution into the 1.00

00:04:18.560 paper shredder and turning Canada into a police state. Darth Vader would very much like Canada in

00:04:23.920 2023. As for Star Trek, he's lame. Let's call him a triple, okay? What say you, my friend? 0.58

00:04:31.740 Well, I've noticed since he started his own YouTube channel, he's been doing more of these sort of like

00:04:38.020 social media stuff where he's starting to, I guess, I don't know, maybe it's a little bit of campaigning to

00:04:43.600 be more likable since he's the most hated politician I've seen in, you know, present times recently. So I think

00:04:50.540 that this is part of that strategy. It's like, how can I be fun and, and hip? And I know, I'll write this little

00:04:56.440 note and, and things like that. But people have not forgotten his leadership over the years and where

00:05:03.300 Canada is going with a little note like that. You know, you might be right, Drea. I, I think if I did

00:05:10.120 some research into Star Wars demographics, it probably skews younger. And this is Trudeau saying,

00:05:16.380 uh, I'm going to get down with the kids. I'm going to show them how hip I am by knowing that this is a

00:05:22.500 very special day, uh, for Star Wars, uh, fans. Then again, I, there is a baby boomer audience for

00:05:29.100 Star Wars too. I think the first film came out in 1977, if I recall. Uh, but you know, here's where

00:05:36.360 I'm coming from, Drea. Think of all the things that are concerning Canadians right now. Interest rates,

00:05:45.100 inflation, Chinese interference in our elections, Chinese, uh, police stations, the Trudeau Foundation,

00:05:52.120 the weed charity, all the scandals that blackface is responsible for. And he bills this as a very 0.99

00:05:59.940 important message. It's not important. It's, it's not even trivial. It, it, it's useless. Why does

00:06:06.340 he come forward and address the issues that are really affecting Canadians and address those issues

00:06:14.400 that are indeed affecting the very integrity of our democracy, Drea Humphrey? Well, I think I'm okay

00:06:21.460 with, you know, a politician poking fun on certain days and things like that. I think the real issue

00:06:26.860 here is that nobody's buying anything that's coming out of this man. So when you see him write this joke,

00:06:32.840 it's like, it feels like it's just not genuine and there's just another angle to it. That's,

00:06:37.480 that's how I perceive it. And that's my issue with it rather than, you know, making a Star Trek joke

00:06:43.260 in general. I think politicians can have a sense of humor, but I think he at heart is an actor.

00:06:49.740 Oh, and he's in his role of a lifetime. And let's not hope there's an epilogue. I mean,

00:06:56.780 there's all kinds of chatter that whenever that next election is, Drea, many liberals are saying,

00:07:02.560 we don't, we can't win with this guy. There's too much baggage, even for Trudeau. Mark Carney's name

00:07:09.240 has been bandied about. At least he'd be the adult in the room, I think. But what, if you had to bet,

00:07:18.060 Drea, whenever that election is called, it could even be this year, I doubt it will be, but

00:07:23.200 I'm, I'm pretty sure it will be next year as opposed to 2025. Do you think this party is going

00:07:29.920 to the polls with Blackface as the leader again? Well, I thought that they kind of had to. Am I 1.00

00:07:38.200 wrong about that? Maybe I just don't know the answer to that. But I think it would be wise for

00:07:44.760 somebody else to run. I don't know. He just seems like he's campaigning already to me. Are you not

00:07:50.880 getting that vibe already? So maybe that's who he's campaigning. Maybe he's campaigning into his

00:07:56.620 own caucus to be like, look, I'm like, people love me. I'm on YouTube now. Keep me as a leader.

00:08:02.420 And maybe that's what I'm noticing. So it would be wise of them not to have him run. But it wouldn't

00:08:08.800 surprise me if he is. But you know what, Drea, when it comes to Blackface, we are dealing with a 1.00

00:08:14.220 enormous ego. And I'm sure he's going to be gently persuaded. Look, you know what? In your 10 years,

00:08:24.720 you've, you've left a legacy. God knows what that legacy is. I mean, every time I ask a Justin

00:08:31.280 Trudeau supporter at election time, the question, and this is a guaranteed question for dead air, Drea,

00:08:37.680 it's this, what is Justin Trudeau's greatest achievement? And aside from legalizing pot,

00:08:43.320 I know. Yeah. And great depth. That's it. And division. Yeah. But maybe they can pretend he's

00:08:50.940 actually left some kind of legacy behind. But if, and also I understand for the backbenchers in the

00:08:58.940 Liberal Party, they come back to their writings and they're just getting heckled by their own

00:09:03.560 constituents, even people that voted for them, saying, look, all this Chinese interference,

00:09:08.980 especially Drea, we're getting bombarded with questions. What did you know? When did you know

00:09:14.040 it? I mean, it's a lot of pressure on us. It's a lot of stress. So maybe there will be regime change

00:09:20.180 at the head in the, uh, uh, the months to come and maybe it would be changed for the better. Or maybe

00:09:25.520 it'll be as the who once said, meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Oh my God.

00:09:31.060 If there isn't a leadership change, maybe people will cross the floor. Maybe they'll say, you know

00:09:35.780 what, that's the last straw. Wouldn't that be nice? That would be nice. As long as it's not over to the

00:09:41.160 NDP. Yeah. Like my MP, Leon Alislev, uh, in the writing where I live in Richmond Hill, although she

00:09:49.280 crossed the floor for the wrong reasons, uh, Drea, that writing is typically a swing writing. And she 1.00

00:09:55.760 guessed correctly that in 2019, it was going to swing, um, uh, conservative. And so she crossed

00:10:04.200 the floor the year before and got elected. Ah, see what comes around, goes around in 2021. Guess

00:10:11.820 what? Uh, Leona outsmarted herself. It's back to liberal. Uh, so I, I'm just wondering if she is

00:10:19.120 going to be the candidate of record because this makes me queasy as someone who admires Pierre

00:10:25.460 Polyev who would love to see the conservatives, uh, win the next election. Uh, when you have

00:10:31.180 a closet liberal, uh, switching, uh, colors only for getting elected herself has nothing 1.00

00:10:38.580 to do with the policies. Um, that's the wrong kind of candidate I think. And by the way, she's 1.00

00:10:44.460 never given me the time of day, uh, for an interview. So she's on team censorious thug that 1.00

00:10:50.700 way. But, um, why don't we go from black faces, uh, scribblings on a piece of paper to billboard, 0.96

00:10:58.780 Chris, here's an individual I greatly admire, puts himself quite literally at risk. As you

00:11:04.540 know, Drea, he's had his arm broken. I think that happened in Montreal. He had some look

00:11:10.020 like mentally ill transgender people attack him in your neck of the woods. And, um, well, 0.99

00:11:16.660 here we have a debate, if you can call it that it's billboard, Chris, with a guy at Portland

00:11:23.000 State University. Oh my goodness. Can you imagine how woke that campus is? Portland, Washington.

00:11:29.400 Are you kidding? Let's see what happened.

00:11:35.660 You, do you want to have him? No, I don't want to talk to you. I want me to fucking leave.

00:11:39.920 Nobody's impressed. You guys fucking suck so bad. You are the dumbest motherfucker I've ever 1.00

00:11:45.340 seen in my life. Shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up. You should move to a cave and die. 1.00

00:11:59.200 Cause you're an idiot. This is a place of learning and you're a stupid motherfucker. You should 1.00

00:12:04.320 listen here and not talk. What's stupid about my position? Everything. Like what? You're an 1.00

00:12:09.000 ignorant, hateful little shit. I don't know why you're so insecure. Tell me one thing that's 1.00

00:12:12.620 I'll tell you 10,000 things. You suck. Fuck you. Yeah. That's you right there. Okay. Yeah. 1.00

00:12:17.920 What about the position? Your position is you're a fucking idiot. My position is I give a shit 1.00

00:12:23.740 about other people being. 0.99

00:12:24.660 Uh, the level of debate in the hallowed halls of academia these days, Drea Humphrey. I mean,

00:12:33.640 once again, uh, someone that can't, uh, not resort to the F-bomb and worse in terms of making his

00:12:41.100 argument, I'm not sure what the argument was. I think at one point he wished, uh, billboard

00:12:46.040 Chris was dead. Gee, that's nice. Uh, go to a cave and I go to a cave and mine is so sick. Like

00:12:53.220 how do you even come up with this stuff so fast? But why are these people completely incapable

00:12:59.020 of debating the issue at hand, Drea? Because the issue at hand is child mutilation. Yes. I mean,

00:13:07.020 what are you going to say in defense of that? That's why you have to get so mad and angry

00:13:11.120 and swear and, and deflect and, and say all these things. They, they are standing up for child

00:13:18.080 mutilation for children to opt into, uh, you know, life altering medication that could make them

00:13:25.640 pharmaceutical patients for life that can lessen their bone density that can make them sterile.

00:13:31.900 And this is a decision the child is supposed to make from themselves 10 years before, or sometimes

00:13:39.360 13 years before their frontal cortex is developed, meaning their brain is not developed for reasoning

00:13:45.440 and decision-making. So what logic can you say in defense to that? And special thanks to Savannah

00:13:52.120 Hernandez, by the way, who, uh, filmed that footage, got real close and put that up on social media.

00:13:57.780 So for, we can see, but billboard Chris, if anybody actually does talk with them, he knows the facts.

00:14:04.800 He knows the stats. He knows, um, you know, that in the UK, they've kind of done these transitions

00:14:10.700 sort of at a higher volume than us years earlier. And now there are so many young adults who are

00:14:18.460 saying, what the heck, why did the adults in my life allow this to happen? Around a thousand families

00:14:24.460 are taking their now shut down most popular gender clinic to court, the Travestock clinic in the UK.

00:14:32.140 Yeah. Um, so it's, when you talk about who's educated on the matter, they think, okay, I'm at

00:14:38.380 university, I'm educated. This is just all hate. The truth is they don't know the facts. They are

00:14:43.340 uneducated on the matter and they themselves are the ones spewing out hate instead of knowledge.

00:14:48.700 And so, uh, I do like that billboard Chris goes out there peacefully. That's what I really like about

00:14:55.420 billboard Chris. He has the most peaceful stance and it becomes very clear who is hateful,

00:15:01.340 who is venomous. And I know some of you are probably wondering, well,

00:15:04.140 what happened with that officer? If we have a little bit of B roll in case you missed it, but

00:15:08.460 completely, uh, internationally viral footage, um, that was captured by a Vancouver based journalist,

00:15:16.300 Dan Dix, when, uh, you know, he was getting mobbed in Vancouver by violent trans activist go figure 0.57

00:15:23.740 and officer Frederick Buckman was just smiling at the incident. I mean,

00:15:29.420 they're dehumanizing people who parents, people who are standing up for this important,

00:15:36.140 controversial issue. And some of you are probably like what's going on. So I have a video coming up

00:15:40.940 today, uh, close to 20,000 of you signed a petition about that officer's conduct, wanting her fire

00:15:48.620 disciplined. So I have an update coming up. I believe it's coming up pretty soon. So make sure to check

00:15:53.420 fire officer Buckman.com for that, uh, petition update. But yeah, there's that incident there.

00:15:59.740 Andrea, um, I kind of understood where officer Buckman was coming from a few weeks ago.

00:16:07.340 Um, we obtained material from the Toronto police service. I did a monologue on it when I was filling

00:16:14.460 in for Ezra and it was eye opening. And I imagine if it's in the Toronto services, probably in other

00:16:20.700 police services across Canada, basically it was the transgender training modules. It is absolutely 0.96

00:16:27.900 astonishing to watch. Um, and in, you know, fairness to the Toronto police, this is not an organic

00:16:35.180 initiative by them. They've been ordered to do this by the Ontario human rights commission based on

00:16:40.060 one complaint they received of somebody who was misgendered or the wrong pronouns were used or

00:16:45.900 what have you. And essentially, um, the crux of the matter, Drea is that trans people do not have 0.98

00:16:53.980 equal rights. They have special rights. And, uh, we saw that on display with billboard Chris in your

00:17:00.700 neck of the woods. And, um, I urge our viewers, if you haven't seen that, we put it up in free content,

00:17:06.860 uh, content section. Uh, please go check it out because police officers are being lectured to

00:17:14.540 by apparently trans homeless people by the looks of things. Uh, Drea, it is so surreal. And, um, and so

00:17:25.100 at the end of the day, officer Buckman in her defense, she's just following orders. You know,

00:17:31.340 she's being instructed, I presume to look the other way. And that's why when billboard Chris

00:17:39.820 gets assaulted right in front of her face, um, she dared not wade into that because, uh, maybe it's

00:17:47.340 going to be a reprimand down the road for her. But you know, the other thing I want to address

00:17:51.500 is the whole LGBT community, um, going up against demonstrators who are concerned about age

00:18:01.500 appropriateness and forming a counter demonstration, uh, basically implying that children should have

00:18:10.140 no rights when it comes to whether it's puberty blockers, uh, that they take or, uh, being subjected

00:18:17.740 to pornographic novels in elementary schools. Andrea, here's what I don't get. Last week,

00:18:23.980 ace cameraman Lincoln Jay and I, we went out to Whitby. We covered a, uh, a protest mostly by mothers

00:18:30.540 and grandmothers, very nice civil people. And they were on point. They had a list of books in the Durham

00:18:39.340 district, including the school they were at, Colonel Farewell. And it was downright pornographic. I'm not

00:18:46.860 even going to read the passages, but it involves sex, oral sex, masturbation, you name it. Um, here's 1.00

00:18:54.540 the thing. There was a counter demonstration, uh, denouncing these people as haters, bigots, transphobes,

00:19:01.100 homophobes. Andrea, the point is the demonstrators against the porn in the elementary schools, 0.94

00:19:08.140 they were on point. This is inappropriate material for elementary age children. They never talked about

00:19:16.060 sexual orientation. They never talked about gender identification. So for this community,

00:19:22.540 you know, the so-called love trumps, hate LGBTQ mafia, you are on the wrong side of decency.

00:19:30.540 And dare I say it history, if you're making a stance that children should be, uh, subjected to

00:19:37.420 pornography, uh, you are on the wrong side ethically, morally, and perhaps even legally because this group

00:19:45.180 wants to challenge the legality of this material getting into our schools, Drea.

00:19:50.460 Well, I know here the anti-hate network has put out just a little blurb and accused, uh, people being

00:19:56.700 anti-LGBTQ or, um, you know, hateful when they are protesting the same thing out here in BC. So I think

00:20:03.820 part of the problem is people just trust organizations like that. They just think,

00:20:07.820 okay, well, they must have done their research and they're not seeing the images in the books

00:20:12.140 themselves. And then, uh, when you confront them, which I have done sometimes, you know,

00:20:17.020 they, they, they quickly, they, they don't have the fight in them anymore. Usually, even if they

00:20:22.140 still act like they're on the other side, you can see, they go home and they're probably like,

00:20:25.500 I'm not coming back to one of those things. So that's the real thing. So the, the troubling thing

00:20:30.300 are the school trustees are, are the teachers are the ones who actually know who have seen this

00:20:36.460 footage and still say, no, this is okay. And not only this is okay, they, they still think you are

00:20:43.980 spreading hate by not wanting this in there. That's the, the craziest part to me.

00:20:49.500 It's unbelievable.

00:20:49.980 And the most concerning.

00:20:51.500 Andrea, uh, a heads up to our audience that might be in the greater Toronto area on May the 15th,

00:20:57.260 that may, that's May 15th at the Durham district school board. They are going to vote on a motion,

00:21:03.100 which is going to make it, um, well, I can't say illegal, but it, uh, questions will not be

00:21:09.180 entertained. Um, no ifs, ands or buts regarding anything to do with sexuality in the school,

00:21:16.620 whether it's a hundred percent, whether it's shared bathrooms or pornography for elementary

00:21:22.380 school students. I have been told this is going to be one hell of a cage match. There is going to be

00:21:28.220 more than a thousand, uh, concerned parents trying to pack into this school board, uh, meeting and

00:21:35.020 hopefully some trustees will get a whiff of what's in the air and, uh, say, no, this material is not

00:21:43.100 age appropriate. We're going to pull it and be, no, we're a publicly funded school board. We're not

00:21:49.100 supposed to be censorious thugs. We're not supposed to.

00:21:52.060 Exactly. Uh, so May 15th at the Durham district school board, that is going to be extra special.

00:21:59.180 One more video we should get to before, uh, an ad break. Um, I'm just going to,

00:22:03.260 I'm going to interrupt with two, uh, chats that we have because they're to what we spoke at at the

00:22:08.540 very beginning. And so for those of you just tuning in, you can live chat with us to be a part of the

00:22:13.500 show on Rumbler Odyssey. And in the beginning, we were talking about Trudeau's, uh, May the 4th be with

00:22:19.180 you. And David had asked people who they think JT, Justin Trudeau's character would be.

00:22:25.900 So, and Mark donates $5. Thank you very much. And says, JT is the Borg queen. 1.00

00:22:31.740 Oh, good one. And you know what? Perfect, uh, perfect character for Trudeau. He calls himself

00:22:39.900 a feminist. The Borg queen, of course, rules over, uh, the board. One of the creepiest characters to 1.00

00:22:45.660 ever come out of, uh, the Star Trek universe. And you know what? Uh, I got to tell you, Drea,

00:22:51.980 the tagline for the Borg, uh, self-determination is irrelevant. Resistance is futile. That's how

00:23:00.220 Justin Trudeau runs his government with the gun grab with Bill C-11 and everything else. It's all

00:23:07.100 about dictatorial control. So what a fantastic comparison. And also that would make him

00:23:15.100 transgender too, right? I was going to say, it hits the diversity mark real good too.

00:23:20.220 Oh, there's, there's. So it looks like, oh, here we go. There's the, there's the Borg queen. 0.97

00:23:24.540 Yikes.

00:23:25.660 And, um, so it looks like, and Mark did a pretty good job hitting the nail on the head,

00:23:30.300 but there's some competition because Cool Beans 89 donates $5. Thank you very much.

00:23:35.900 And says, David, Star Trek character that best suits blackface are the Borg resistance. 0.99

00:23:42.780 It's futile. Uh, Drea, not to be a sexist, but you are a very beautiful woman. Oh, thank you.

00:23:51.500 How dare you assume my gender, Cool Beans?

00:23:54.380 I, I agree. What can I say? I'm a heterosexual male. Resistance is futile.

00:24:03.180 All right. Those were, those were good chats and I agree with both of them. Fantastic. Um,

00:24:08.060 and, uh, yes, let's get before our ad break, which is coming up at the half hour mark, Drea. Um,

00:24:14.140 oh goodness. We have a brawler student who was screaming and singing in front of billboard. Chris,

00:24:21.660 why do I get the idea that this might be somebody I don't want to see without a bra? Just saying.

00:24:27.100 Okay. 0.74

00:24:29.420 And of course it's the violent, disgusting WAP Cardi B song that's being sent. Like, is this the best we have of university now? What is happening when this is the minds that are coming out to a

00:24:59.180 simple debate? If you want to call it, you know, back in the day, uh, when there was a mental health

00:25:08.460 facility on, uh, Queen street, let's call it what it is, an asylum, uh, nine, nine, nine, Queen street

00:25:15.100 West. I think they changed the address to a thousand and one because some of the inmates looked at nine,

00:25:20.300 nine, nine upside down and thought they were in hell. Uh, but I digress. What I'm getting to Drea is

00:25:27.500 that person acting that way as an adult, as opposed to a three year old toddler, uh, having a freak out in

00:25:35.500 the toy section of Walmart would have been brought into a rubber room for her protection and ours. Uh, 1.00

00:25:42.300 uh, I guess what I'm saying is let's make insane asylums great again, shall we? Let's get those things 1.00

00:25:48.940 open. Oh, I know, I know. Something. Oh my goodness. And, um, why don't we take a quick break right now

00:25:59.100 as we must, and we'll get back on the other side with, oh my goodness. Uh, this, this has to be a

00:26:06.300 misprint. CBC was involved with some kind of blackmail? My goodness. From their sugar daddy

00:26:13.500 black face to carrying out blackmail. That's a lot of darkness for our public broadcaster, 1.00

00:26:18.860 but let's check out this ad first. The media said that Canadian truckers were Russian agents

00:26:25.820 controlled by Vladimir Putin. Justin Trudeau called them extremists.

00:26:30.300 The small fringe minority. We are here out of love for our families, our communities. And the

00:26:39.580 government put the country under martial law to stop them. But what's the real story? If you can't

00:26:45.660 see the future in clear outline right now, you're not paying attention. But the truckers in Canada can.

00:26:52.220 And I want you to know that I'm not afraid. For the first time, the woman at the heart of the

00:26:56.460 trucker convoy speaks out. Hold the line. Tamara Leach, passionate organizer, loving mother and

00:27:02.220 grandmother, proud Métis and proud Albertan, and defiant political prisoner jailed for daring to

00:27:09.100 criticize the government. Tamara Leach, her new book, Hold the Line. My story from the heart of the

00:27:22.860 Freedom Convoy is the inside scoop of what really happened. You've heard from the media and the

00:27:28.700 Convoy's critics. Now hear the truth from the woman who inspired the world and made Justin Trudeau blink.

00:28:59.820 Well, Andrea, as we tease before the break, a bit of a scoop for Rebel News. I'm referring to 0.79

00:29:05.500 Ezra Levent's monologue on his show yesterday regarding the CBC and Twitter. And I believe

00:29:11.180 our colleague Sheila Gunn-Reed has just posted a written piece. And here's the Coles notes.

00:29:17.980 Exclusive access to information documents obtained by Rebel News show Catherine Tate, CEO of Trudeau's

00:29:26.860 state broadcaster, told the social media giant, that would be Twitter, the company must censor tweets

00:29:36.780 or Trudeau would bring in laws to force them to do so. Are you disturbed by this entitlement as I am,

00:29:47.020 Drea? So disturbed. And you have the CEO over in New York working with Trudeau. It says in the article

00:29:55.580 Sheila put out today, I guess, Tate also hinted that CBC was working with Trudeau government to

00:30:01.820 remove the flow of hate. Of course, it always has to be labeled something like that.

00:30:07.580 This should concern all Canadians, and I guess, you know, other countries too, because if it can

00:30:13.420 happen to Canada, it can happen to anybody. But this is the sign of a dictatorship. What is that?

00:30:20.380 You better fall in line or else we're coming for you with laws that will hurt your business. Because

00:30:26.300 let's face it, if a government says we're going to put laws that force you to do business the way

00:30:30.540 we like it, that hurts that company's pocket or money too, right? So, wow. It is a wow moment.

00:30:40.060 And you know, it's confirming, Drea, our suspicions in regard to the fix being in with the CBC,

00:30:46.060 that they're beholden to sugar daddy blackface. And imagine the chutzpah, the sheer mitigated gall 0.84

00:30:54.220 of forcibly taking more than $1.2 billion of our tax money. We have no say in that. And then

00:31:02.860 going to the prime minister and saying, oh, you know what, there's some people out there with

00:31:08.940 political wrong thought. And we want them punished. And we want the social media platform

00:31:15.100 that is the conveyance of this wrong thought punished as well. This is banana republic stuff,

00:31:21.100 Drea. I mean, I know we don't grow bananas in Canada. Let's call it a maple syrup republic.

00:31:26.540 But this is dictatorship 101.

00:31:28.940 It is. And Elon Musk did respond to one of Ezra Levant's tweets about it. He said the CBC

00:31:38.380 said they were working with Trudeau to pressure Twitter to censor users.

00:31:42.140 What's the possibility of the Twitter files document release in Canada to clear the air?

00:31:48.060 Wouldn't that be great to see? Oh, yeah.

00:31:49.980 Elon Musk responded with interesting.

00:31:52.460 I know. It's like a Bond villain. Right. And who's been complaining about Elon Musk,

00:32:01.740 his Twitter saying, you know, government funded media, the CBC. This is exactly who they are.

00:32:08.540 And it's all coming out. And, you know, I hope more Canadians find out about this because

00:32:14.220 anybody who wants just the simple news, the truth, needs to know.

00:32:18.700 You know, it's amazing, too, to see how the left has turned on Elon Musk. He was one of their heroes

00:32:25.340 just a scant 18 months ago. Oh, he's making electric vehicles. He's going to save the planet. No carbon

00:32:31.580 footprint here. And then, oh, he's what? He's a proponent of free speech. Oh, what a horrible

00:32:39.500 person. Ooh, boo, boo, Elon Musk. It is unbelievable. The left is, you know, and again, Drea, we've talked 0.99

00:32:46.460 about this so many times. Classical liberals used to be all about freedom of the press, freedom of

00:32:53.500 speech, freedom of assembly. And now they're really Marxist, the liberals. They're all about

00:33:00.860 censorship, even in the United States, where they have the First Amendment, something I wish we had

00:33:06.300 here. It's just and when we get documents like this, like I said, we really see their agenda,

00:33:14.540 don't we? And it's not pretty. Yeah. Classic liberals are being called far right now. So

00:33:20.140 I've met many of them. They're like, what? Oh, if you're a classical liberal, you're a conservative

00:33:27.580 now. Exactly. And this is why, you know, back to the CBC thing, this is why fighting C-11 is so 0.83

00:33:35.740 important. Right now we're showing documents about that as well. And I think we have a campaign.

00:33:40.780 I mean, you can go to this article with Sheila, but I think we also have like a direct URL about

00:33:47.740 C-11, stop C-11 as well. But this is the fight of our lives in Canada. I truly believe that because

00:33:54.460 my question is, you know, once they, the whole pretending this is about supporting Canadian

00:34:01.100 musicians is over and they get to the actual purpose of it, what is in plan? Why did this need

00:34:07.740 to happen? What is coming next that they don't want Rebel News talking about to the people?

00:34:13.180 That is of great concern. Yeah. And the big boss man, he adroitly laid out the strategy. It's a four

00:34:20.940 pronged strategy. Some of those elements include signing our petition. When this Bill C-11 hearings,

00:34:29.020 when they do the whole town hall tour, pack the joint and voice your concerns, even though they might not

00:34:35.020 listen to you, but at least, you know, don't bend the knee. And thirdly, donate for the legal

00:34:42.060 challenge because all the other stuff is just words. But this is where we hope to shine. Get a very

00:34:50.860 good lawyer and argue the merits. And all we can ask is a fair-minded judge because I think the case is

00:34:59.260 fantastic. It's happened before. It's happened before in our cases. So we'll just pray again.

00:35:03.500 A hundred percent. But Drea, as Ezra's mentioned, we're looking at $500,000 to get this ball rolling. 0.84

00:35:11.340 And it's going to take years because that's just the way the legal process worked. But we can't bend

00:35:16.300 the knee. This is too important. You're right. This is the fight of our lives, not just our lives.

00:35:22.060 Anyone at home that is enjoying what's left of the freedoms in Canada. This is a major fly swatter to

00:35:29.580 that. And it's got to be disarmed. And case in point, CRTC considering banning Fox News from cable

00:35:41.580 packages. Oh, why? Oh, I see. Well, it's an LGBT rights group. Oh, of course.

00:35:47.340 Of course. Aren't they happy? Tucker's gone. What do they want? Oh, I guess it's like

00:35:53.900 shark smelling blood in the water. We got rid of the head, honcho. Now let's get rid of the...

00:35:59.420 We already can't get Fox News Nation in Canada for some bizarre reason. And now they want to get rid

00:36:05.740 of this now. So what is it? Why are the LGBTQ unicorns trying to shut down Fox News? What's their 0.96

00:36:16.940 problem? And really, if there was a problem with Fox News, Drea, the answer is not shutting down an

00:36:25.180 entire network. It would be if you had a case, and they don't have any case, bring a matter of

00:36:30.700 defamation before the courts or slander or libel. But they don't have that. So they just go to

00:36:37.340 Blackface's media watchdog, the CRTC, and say, oh, off with their heads, please. No, 1.00

00:36:44.940 we are not going to acquiesce to a percentage of the population that is what, Drea? 0.00001%.

00:36:54.300 Again, let's make insane asylums great again. And I'll tell you another thing. 1.00

00:37:00.540 You can understand now, Drea, that why there are new organizations forming such as Gays Against 1.00

00:37:06.460 Groomers and LGB Without the T, because they're waking up in that community and going, these trans 1.00

00:37:14.060 people, they don't speak for us. This is lunacy. And I feel sorry for the trans people that also 1.00

00:37:20.780 want to be out of the trans community because there's them as well. They're like, no, don't 1.00

00:37:25.180 separate me with this crazy trans agenda because I'm not having that. But there's just so much to 0.99

00:37:33.820 unpack there. They say that if you're confused on who's lying, it's usually the person trying to

00:37:40.300 silence the other person. And there's a reason because of that. If someone is lying and you want

00:37:45.500 to prove that they're lying, you want them to keep talking, talking. You want them to slip up. You

00:37:50.060 want them to be heard so you can say, look, this is what they're doing. And like you said,

00:37:55.020 take it to court or even discuss it and say, look at what this is happening. But they don't want that.

00:37:59.420 They don't want people hearing from Fox because they don't want them hearing the other side of the

00:38:04.540 story and then knowing the truth. That's all this is. Andrea, let me tell you something. Don't put it past

00:38:11.500 the CRTC to act on this. I speak from personal experience. As you know, many of us at Fox,

00:38:18.940 Rebel News, such as our founder, CEO and president, Ezra Levent, we were made refugees from the Sun

00:38:27.820 News Network back in 2015. If the Sun News Network was still in existence, there would be no Rebel News.

00:38:34.380 We'd all still presumably be employed there. But the CRTC, Drea, denied us the license we needed

00:38:41.500 to stay alive. It was a license given out to so many other specialty broadcasters whose content

00:38:48.460 was basically recycled sitcoms from the 1980s. And the very reason for the CRTC is Canadian content.

00:38:57.260 Okay. Well, Sun News was owned by Quebecor. We were based in Toronto. We had bureaus all across the

00:39:05.340 country. It was staffed by over 200 people telling Canadian stories to Canadian viewers. You couldn't

00:39:12.300 get more Canadian if I were to slap a tattoo of Canada Packers on my butt. And believe me, 0.99

00:39:18.860 nobody wants to see that. But the point is, after a brilliant presentation, the CRTC said, nope,

00:39:26.780 decision denied. And you know what the reason was, Drea? There was no reason because they don't

00:39:32.540 have to give a reason. The unspoken reason is to have one right of center news channel in the

00:39:40.460 Canadian landscape. That was a bridge too far for the CRTC. So let's see if they indeed double down,

00:39:47.900 especially now that they're empowered further by Bill C-11. Absolutely despicable. Well,

00:39:53.980 that's where it goes to you.

00:39:54.940 I agree. And I'm going to move on to a super chat where somebody is giving us constructive

00:40:03.180 criticism, which we welcome. We don't want you silenced. Okay. And so they donated $5 to do it

00:40:09.020 to help us continue on. This is Kenzie 67. And Kenzie says, I'm disappointed with your all cap locks,

00:40:16.780 I might add. Does that mean they're yelling?

00:40:18.620 I think, but I'm not sure. I'm disappointed with your limited coverage of the National

00:40:24.380 Citizens Inquiry. Please cover and share as they are being suppressed, even on Twitter. Stop with

00:40:30.940 the trance and cover inquiry, please. Well, my response to that is, I don't believe we do have

00:40:37.260 limited coverage of the NCI. I just spent yesterday, I think 11 hours there working after overcoming a

00:40:45.660 stomach flu. And I know our very own Tamara Ugolini actually testified at the NCI and also has done 1.00

00:40:55.020 reports. We have multiple reports on it. Perhaps if you go on to DuckDuckGo and type in National

00:41:01.340 Citizens Inquiry Rebel News, you might be able to find some of our coverage because just like they're

00:41:06.940 suppressed, so are we. So it's not just going to pop out at you all the time. And if you haven't done so

00:41:13.020 already, you could also go to rebelnews.com and sometimes there's a pop-up that shows up or

00:41:21.420 there's probably another way to do it. I'm sorry if I don't know how to say it, but if you have never

00:41:25.980 given us your email or your postal code or something like that, we don't always know where you are to

00:41:34.060 send you emails as well, especially when they're in your area. So the NCI just came here May 2nd to

00:41:39.900 the Lower Mainland, which is where I'm based. So I've been covering it. Like I said, I was sick

00:41:44.620 with the flu. I couldn't make it May 2nd. I was just getting over that. Don't tell Dr. Bonnie Henry.

00:41:50.780 And this is one of my tweets. In fact, our editors are working on getting one of my reports on it out

00:41:57.100 right now as we speak behind the scenes. But this was a very horrible story,

00:42:02.220 not a dry eye in the house. And that is Mr. James Jones from Victoria testifying to how his wife,

00:42:12.140 Sandra, killed himself, killed herself, sorry, just days after being fired from being a BC transit

00:42:20.620 worker. So she left a big note. And basically, that mandate was a driving force in her ending her life. 1.00

00:42:28.060 And this was just shortly. Yeah, it's horrible. So again, we have that report coming for you.

00:42:33.740 We're working as hard as we can to cover it and every other story that's being suppressed

00:42:39.420 by the state-backed media like the CBC. So hopefully that answers.

00:42:43.500 To the viewer's point, I would make the argument, thanks to your work and Tamara and Sheila,

00:42:48.860 I think of all the media organizations in Canada, we've given the most coverage.

00:42:52.780 I think so. I'm pretty sure. You know, unless you want to just have Rebel News run a live stream

00:42:59.260 24-7 about it, but we are. Which they're doing. Yeah.

00:43:02.460 The NCI is doing that themselves. Exactly. And not only are we doing reports,

00:43:07.580 we're retweeting their stuff on Twitter. So we're doing our part. Indeed. Drea,

00:43:13.340 we should take another ad break. And then we've got 15 minutes left. We have to have a hard end at

00:43:18.300 2 o'clock. I'm on a special assignment. I know that sounds James Bondian. Me too. And it might

00:43:23.660 involve Antifa. So pray for me. I hope not. So why don't we take this ad break and we'll get back

00:43:30.780 to, well, welcome to Vancouver, the only city in North America currently serving cocaine, crack,

00:43:37.100 heroin and crystal meth in broad daylight. Lovely. What could possibly go wrong?

00:43:43.180 I am doing something today that I have never tried before. Listen up. I'm looking for collaborators

00:43:52.220 in a new and exciting initiative. As you most likely know, YouTube, a long time ago,

00:43:58.460 demonetised Rebel News and we are 100% viewer funded. Now, while our supporters are fantastic at helping us

00:44:05.740 cover legal campaigns and special reporting missions, unfortunately, the reality is our day-to-day

00:44:10.860 operational expenses often exceed our income stream. Which is crazy if you think about it,

00:44:16.620 because my videos across all platforms attract hundreds of thousands of views and sometimes even

00:44:22.140 millions. So I want to share that reach with the right partners. If you have a product or business

00:44:29.420 and want to enter a win-win relationship with me, please go to rebelnews.com forward slash ads and fill in

00:44:37.740 the form to let me know. I won't be accepting anyone. I need to believe in your business or product

00:44:43.580 so I can sell it proudly for you. And for successful applicants, I will guarantee a minimum view count.

00:44:51.020 Meaning, even if your ad is published on the less popular reports, we'll keep promoting your

00:44:56.780 business or product until it gets the agreed minimum eyeballs. So again, if you have a cool company

00:45:03.180 or product that either wants to take advantage of my reach or want to support my work through

00:45:10.540 advertising in a way that you can write it off as a tax deduction or both, head over to rebelnews.com

00:45:18.380 forward slash ads and hopefully we can join forces soon.

00:45:22.940 Wow. In addition to being a great journalist, Avi Amini is a great salesman too, isn't he? I mean,

00:45:32.540 if I had the money, I'd be throwing it on his table right now. He's such a star, my goodness.

00:45:38.220 Yeah. It's just like, I need to start a business just to work now with the ads because of that ad.

00:45:43.340 Unbelievable. Well, let me, you take this, Drea. This is indeed in your backyard,

00:45:51.100 Vancouver, a beautiful city, much like San Francisco, perhaps one of the most beautiful

00:45:56.300 and unique cities in the United States. The hills, the bay, the cable cars, but now a city fraught with

00:46:06.060 Pearl. And again, uh, on the West coast in Canada, your city, Vancouver, it's, um, the drug version

00:46:14.380 of, uh, Lollapalooza. What in blue hell is going on, Drea? Well, this, we're sharing a tweet from Aaron

00:46:21.900 Gunn, who's a, uh, uh, democratarian. Is that one? I can't speak today. Oh, documentarian. Thank you very

00:46:31.980 much. Journalist who doesn't know her words, uh, documentarian. He's also a political commentator,

00:46:38.460 and he's well known, um, for pointing, shedding light on this issue with what's happening in

00:46:44.460 Vancouver. He did a documentary called Vancouver's Dying. And this is him, I guess, standing in

00:46:49.500 Vancouver saying, welcome to Vancouver, the only city in North America currently serving cocaine,

00:46:55.900 crack heroin, crystal meth in broad daylight with no consequences from the city or police.

00:47:05.180 And that is, that is true. I mean, this is the hub of where you can see stuff like this.

00:47:10.540 So he's got a sign here where it's all for sale there. Look at that crack cocaine, $20,

00:47:17.100 1.5 points. I mean, you can have kids walking right by there who have never even heard, you know,

00:47:22.620 what's a point. And now they're going to be Googling it and stuff like that.

00:47:27.020 You've got MDMA down at the bottom. And what is that? There's a lot of people who think

00:47:33.980 everything that's happening with the legalization of drugs here is just the greatest thing. But how

00:47:39.180 does that help people in addiction? I've worked for years with people in addiction. That's not going

00:47:43.500 to help them at all. The reasons why they're addicted are not because they could not access drugs.

00:47:49.420 Yes. Some of the drugs that they're accessing are unclean, but just because they're going to get

00:47:54.460 clean drugs over here, isn't going to stop them from getting unclean drugs over there. So 0.56

00:48:00.460 it's very frustrating and I'm glad he's shedding light on it.

00:48:03.820 A hundred percent, Drea. It is really throwing gasoline on a fire. If you think you're helping

00:48:10.460 addicts by accommodating them, by enabling them. No, you're not. You're sending them down a horrible

00:48:17.100 spiral, perhaps even to their death. You know, Drea, in March, Alberta Premier Daniel Smith was

00:48:22.940 in Toronto to receive an award. I went to that dinner and it was amazing. She talked about how

00:48:29.260 Alberta is doing the polar opposite approach of British Columbia. Surprise, surprise.

00:48:36.700 Oh yes. Isn't it something? But the program is basically police officers going to drug addicts

00:48:43.900 on the street and saying, listen, you've got two options. We can arrest you and put you behind bars

00:48:52.540 for what you're doing, or we can put you into a program. And it was an amazing program. Premier

00:48:58.300 Smith talked about it. It's like a dormitory where these people get clean, where they're taught the

00:49:04.380 basics, you know, how to shop, you know, they, they are responsible for the cleanliness of the

00:49:10.460 dormitories and a community established as is established where these people addicts to hardcore

00:49:18.460 drugs actually get off the habit, get clean, sober up and become, you know, members of society again,

00:49:26.940 not dependent on that. Yes, that's what it's about. Yeah. So I ask you, which system folks would you

00:49:32.540 rather have? We enable the drug addicts to have no future or we help clean them up so that they do

00:49:40.460 have a future. And I mean, you know, it's, it's, it's really odd, isn't it, Adria? Why doesn't this

00:49:45.820 program extend to alcoholics? I mean, what if you lost your driver's license because you had a DWI

00:49:52.460 conviction? Why don't we, oh, I don't know, find out who these people are and bring them bottles of

00:49:58.140 scotch and bourbon to their house so they don't have to drive. So we don't put the public at risk

00:50:03.900 because obviously they can't get by the day without having a couple of hits. This is what I don't

00:50:10.380 understand why the very worst addictive substances are being accommodated by the state.

00:50:17.900 And so this one is, so BC is, I guess, decriminalizing and allowing the sale of some

00:50:26.940 drugs. But this one in particular is a little bit unique, what we're seeing this sign here. So

00:50:31.900 it's a Vancouver man who has opened the only known brick and mortar store in Canada and the, sorry,

00:50:39.660 I'm going close, and the US that sells these things, these drugs. And so he has opened this drug

00:50:45.980 store on Wednesday in Vancouver's downtown east side, which if you're unfamiliar with that area

00:50:50.940 is not a pretty site, a neighborhood that's long been considered ground zero for Canada's overdose

00:50:57.980 epidemic. Very true. And so I want to scroll down probably. So he, here we go. So he opened the store

00:51:05.980 because he wants to give people drugs that have been tested and are free from the bad stuff in them,

00:51:12.940 including fentanyl, although fentanyl, which is driving record overdoses in Canada and the US,

00:51:18.940 is the primary street. So he, if I recall with this person, he's sort of doing this on his own,

00:51:25.500 going a little bit over and above. And so it will be interesting to see how this is handled by the

00:51:30.860 government. Because I also wonder about money, right? Who's benefiting from the, you know, being able

00:51:36.860 to sell these drugs, right? If you follow the money. Yes. No. Yeah. It, um, despicable. And you know,

00:51:44.700 on the flip side, Drea, let's end on a happier note. Um, the democracy fund, legal victory,

00:51:52.140 TDF lawyers secure withdrawal of criminal charges against, was it someone going to do a holdup of a

00:52:00.620 drug? No, it was a maskless shopper. Uh, it was a hell of an ordeal. Uh, it was a disabled shopper, 1.00

00:52:08.540 if you can imagine, um, criminally charged with obstruction after shopping maskless. Uh, finally,

00:52:17.100 it's come to an end or it came to an end in a provincial courtroom in Tuesday when all charges

00:52:22.700 were dismissed. Drea, your thoughts? Well, this is great. This is a perfect thing to end on. It's

00:52:30.460 great news. And, um, you know, we've seen it before with other successful cases that we've helped.

00:52:36.620 Um, I should say the people have helped through their great donations to the democracy fund and

00:52:41.900 fight the fines is, you know, it was all in the headlines. Oh, this person was arrested and this

00:52:46.380 person was charged and this one and this one. And then years later, cause that's how it works out.

00:52:51.820 You know, charges are often dropped showing that, um, you know, it was just a bunch of nonsense,

00:52:57.580 but I'm happy to see that this was fought and then that this person was supported by the people

00:53:02.780 through the great democracy fund charity. So that's awesome. Doing great work. And I believe

00:53:08.060 that was at a pharmacy, wasn't it? Drea, the irony is so perverse here. Usually you go to a pharmacy to

00:53:14.620 get medicine, to get better. You don't expect to be gang tackled by cops, but apparently not having

00:53:21.420 your mask on properly. Uh, that's the prime directive, uh, for police services, at least

00:53:26.860 back then it was. And as we stated, uh, earlier, uh, if you're a trans person having a meltdown, 0.96

00:53:34.780 oh yeah, feel free to physically assault someone for hurting your feelings. Uh, it's a no harm,

00:53:39.980 no foul. What kind of world are we in? But, uh, this is indeed a legal victory. And you know,

00:53:46.860 I wonder if down the road, Drea, um, if we are requested to quarantine again, if there's some

00:53:56.140 new variant, if the monkeypox comes back, remember that for 10 minutes. I think Bill Gates is,

00:54:02.540 Bill Gates is, uh, I saw he's suggesting there is something coming. Yeah. Oh, of course. You know,

00:54:07.820 he's been predicting this and wanting it for, for decades, it would seem. Um, but Drea, uh,

00:54:13.900 would the majority of Canadians bend the knee? Would we be such sheep again? Uh, because I know

00:54:21.660 from people who followed the rules, who are mass said never again, no chance. I am not. And also a

00:54:30.140 lot of people, by the way, Drea, that had their shots, had their boosters that are really suffering

00:54:35.420 from buyer's remorse right now, given what's coming out in terms of evidence. So I am hopeful that we

00:54:42.860 won't have another repeat of the last three years. What do you think? Well, we will certainly have

00:54:50.060 way more saying no from the start. I'm confident of that, but we, there's still people walking

00:54:54.860 around or driving in their car with masks on. Isn't that amazing? And a lot of people wear

00:55:00.380 masks. I've heard this over and over. They're wearing masks because they think it's what other

00:55:04.140 people want them to do. And it's like, everybody's walking around wearing it just because they,

00:55:09.180 nobody even wants to wear it. So you'll have those people too that just think like they don't want

00:55:13.900 to upset anybody. And so they're smothering themselves for no reason. I'll go further

00:55:18.780 on your point, Drea. I think wearing the mask right now in 2023, that's a political statement.

00:55:25.580 That is a visual sign to everyone out there. I like big government. I like big lockdowns. I like being

00:55:34.620 told what to do, whether it's getting vaccinated or wearing a mask or having my store shut down.

00:55:42.380 Well, those with lobbyists like Walmart, they can remain open. That's what the mask is right now.

00:55:49.500 Or I like my face better, which there's actual evidence to support that less attractive people

00:55:55.980 are wearing it. I read it. Like maybe they think they look good. I remember in the mask,

00:56:01.820 I go up to people and I'd be like, oh, I know you. And I'd start talking and then they pull down

00:56:05.580 the mask and I'm like, oh, it's not the same. So maybe they're like, this is the best I've

00:56:10.940 looked in my entire life. I get more attention with my eyes. You never know. Unbelievable.

00:56:17.340 Do we have any more super chats, Drea? I don't believe so. I think we are done.

00:56:25.500 We're just two minutes at the top of the hour. So, uh, and I just, uh, early. Yeah,

00:56:30.220 absolutely. For a change. Uh, I think I should do a special shout out to Lady Menzoid. She had a 1.00

00:56:35.340 milestone birthday today. Uh, she is 30. You've got to put a little multiple there and you'll get the 0.98

00:56:42.060 actual age anyway. Um, uh, so happy birthday, uh, late Lady Menzoid. Uh, uh, we all love you here.

00:56:51.660 Well, I certainly do. And, uh, many more putting up with David. It's kind of, uh, there's a bitter

00:56:58.460 irony here, Drea. Um, it is May the 4th be with you. Uh, and Lady Menzoid hates Star Wars with a

00:57:06.860 passion. I was born on April 20th. That's 420 day. I hate marijuana. It's the smell. I'm, I'm so

00:57:15.980 sorry. I can't get past the skunk flatulent smell of marijuana. What are the odds we'd be both born

00:57:23.500 on a gimmicky day like that? Yeah. And we hate the day. Well, I don't know if she likes weed, but

00:57:29.900 there you go. All right. Well, thank you so much, Drea. It's always a joy doing the show and thank you

00:57:36.060 to super producers, Efren and Olivia behind the boards. And thank you to all our viewers, especially

00:57:42.460 those who chipped in to help us pay our bills. Greatly appreciated. I'll be back here tomorrow

00:57:48.620 with another Rebel News personality. In the meantime, as always, stay safe and stay sane.

00:57:55.180 Bye, everyone. The desire for them to run an influence operation, um, was, uh, evidenced in that,

00:58:03.100 uh, reporting in the Globe and Mail. And within five months of this donation being signed, both the

00:58:09.340 gentlemen, uh, were given direct access to the prime minister.

00:58:15.980 That's quite a deal for $140,000, I'd say, that they were both able to, to access, uh,

00:58:23.740 the prime minister and the con and the situation around it where we have consular officials from the

00:58:29.020 People's Republic of China directing how the donation is to flow. We have, um, we have the involvement

00:58:36.460 for the first and only time on 18 years on the foundation of the prime minister's brother.

00:58:44.700 We have, um, the prime minister's brother, you, sir, signing that donation agreement

00:58:50.860 and it culminating with those, those cash for access events with Justin Trudeau, the prime minister.

00:58:59.660 That raises incredibly concerning questions for Canadians. You said you had to sign at the start of,

00:59:08.540 at the start of my questions. You said that you, that you had to sign. Why, why did you have to sign?

00:59:13.340 Because it was a three-way agreement between the foundation, uh, four in many ways, the foundation,

00:59:20.220 myself representing the Trudeau family, l'Université Montréal, and the donors. Uh, so I guess I could

00:59:27.420 have, I, the main reason I signed is because Morris asked me to. Uh, I also had signing authority at the

00:59:32.940 time. Uh, so I was regularly signing checks at the foundation. So, but it, I would have, I imagine I

00:59:38.940 could have given a procuration to Morris to sign for the family, but it was his suggestion that for the

00:59:46.620 the views of the ceremony and honoring these men who I, by the way, still have no reason to believe

00:59:54.300 their motives were not honorable. Uh, and, uh, so that's why I signed. It was in, in that capacity

01:00:02.140 as a family member, giving the permission to use the name.
