Rebel News Podcast - DAILY ｜ Trudeau set to invoke Emergencies Act; RCMP sabotages protesters; Ontario reopening

00:00:00.000 Good morning, good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to the rebel news daily live stream.

00:00:19.140 I'm your host, Sheila Gunn-Reed, and I'm joined by my co-host in Calgary, Adam Sose.

00:00:24.280 And some of you might notice that there's a bit of a diminished quality in the stream

00:00:28.400 today, and that's because we are running off Zoom, because we are going to bring in a very

00:00:33.000 special guest, David Menzies, live from the Ambassador Bridge later on, and this is sort

00:00:38.060 of the only way that we can do it, is if we move over to Zoom.

00:00:40.820 So bear with me.

00:00:41.580 I'm not mad about it, though, being a woman of a certain vintage, I don't like to be high

00:00:45.080 def anyway.

00:00:46.400 Adam, how's it going?

00:00:47.780 Oh, it's going wonderful.

00:00:48.800 I'm upset being in my prime.

00:00:50.660 I want to relate to you, but I'll survive.

00:00:53.280 I'll survive.

00:00:54.500 Yeah, there's nothing going on in our country, let alone our province right now.

00:00:57.580 I don't even know why you or I showed up for work today, because it's just completely

00:01:02.100 boring, except for the fact that our prime minister has sought to declare war on peaceful

00:01:10.360 Canadian protesters.

00:01:12.080 That's what it comes down to today.

00:01:14.080 He had a late night meeting with the first ministers in his cabinet, so the first ministers

00:01:18.200 being the premiers, and he doesn't necessarily need the premier's permission to do this, but

00:01:23.020 he does need the premiers to go along with it.

00:01:25.020 So let's see how that happens.

00:01:27.580 Um, he is considering, we don't have official word yet, but the National Post is reporting

00:01:33.940 it, that Trudeau is to invoke the Emergencies Act to clear away protesters and border blockades,

00:01:40.980 and that could mean big, big trouble for our fellow Albertans down at the Coutts border.

00:01:45.360 Yeah, big time.

00:01:47.320 Yeah, it's troubling, certainly.

00:01:48.840 And this is something that we, uh, we sort of got a wind of last week at those points.

00:01:53.320 It was, uh, uh, it was mere rumors.

00:01:55.360 It wasn't reportable, but it did seem that this was sort of inevitable.

00:01:58.760 Um, oddly, it sort of sparked immediately after he stormed out of, uh, the house and wasn't

00:02:04.560 willing to answer any more questions stormed out shortly thereafter, these conversations

00:02:08.820 start, started, uh, the rumor mill started swirling.

00:02:11.840 And here we are today.

00:02:13.440 It seems more fact than fiction, certainly.

00:02:15.660 And it's, it's shocking truly, because I mean, the last time we had measures to this

00:02:19.480 extent, uh, were effectively the FLQ war measures act with his dad.

00:02:23.520 So there's certainly a predisposition.

00:02:25.140 Um, it's funny that that nepotism is at play even in a purported democracy like Canada.

00:02:30.780 So now we should tell everybody what we're doing before we get too far into the show.

00:02:35.080 I just wanted to talk about that right off the hop, but this is the rebel news daily

00:02:38.820 live stream.

00:02:39.500 You should just be on Friday hosted by Ezra Levant and just streamed on YouTube, but there's

00:02:45.760 more news than ever.

00:02:46.740 And things are breaking all the time.

00:02:49.060 Every morning, it seems like, I don't know about you, Adam, but when I wake up, it's what

00:02:53.460 are the things that I have time to do a story on today and not, uh, I wonder what I'm going

00:02:58.920 to talk about today.

00:02:59.780 It's too much.

00:03:00.580 It's hard to weed through it all.

00:03:01.860 And sometimes the best way to address that is just like this, sit down, read the headlines

00:03:05.720 with a friend and, uh, interact with our viewers, which is something that we love to

00:03:10.940 do here on the live stream.

00:03:12.020 So we used to just be on YouTube.

00:03:14.460 They went full censorship.

00:03:15.820 They demonetized us.

00:03:17.060 They don't want us there.

00:03:18.000 It's only a matter of time before we're gone from there.

00:03:20.800 So I don't know.

00:03:21.780 I don't know about you, Adam, but that's kind of how you get more of me.

00:03:24.560 If you tell me not to be somewhere, I'm like, I'm coming and I'm bringing all my friends.

00:03:29.240 So that's kind of why we're still on YouTube and it's a great way for people to find us.

00:03:32.740 And we have nearly 1.6 million YouTube subscribers.

00:03:35.280 We don't want to abandon you, but let me just encourage you.

00:03:38.700 Um, if you are enjoying the show, why don't you scoot on over to another platform?

00:03:43.900 One of the more free speechy platforms like rumble odyssey and super you.

00:03:47.920 And on all three of those platforms, you can support the work that we do completely willingly

00:03:51.840 when YouTube took away our ability to receive super chats.

00:03:55.740 Well, these other platforms said, hang on here.

00:03:57.860 We've got a rumble rant where you can make a donation and odyssey hyper chats, um, where

00:04:04.220 you can also make a donation and a super you shout.

00:04:06.240 And if you do one of those, uh, Mr. Producer, Andrew will send that to me in the form of

00:04:11.440 a message and Adam or myself, we'll do our very best to address those on air.

00:04:15.740 And, uh, I believe we're also on a fourth live streaming streaming platform, a fourth

00:04:21.620 free speech platform.

00:04:22.880 So that's five in total on getter.

00:04:25.140 Are we not right now?

00:04:27.000 Yes.

00:04:27.380 I think it's, this is our third week of this is our third week being live on getter.

00:04:33.300 And, uh, I S I said it last week, but I'm making a conscious effort to spend a little

00:04:38.900 bit more time on getter and a little less time on Twitter because Twitter is a censorship

00:04:43.020 platform and getter doesn't care about my opinions.

00:04:45.500 And, uh, that's, I think the way that all these social media companies who claim to be

00:04:50.780 the new public square, that's how they should be, but really they're not.

00:04:54.820 Um, but we should get back to the war measures act, the emergency measures act, as they say,

00:05:00.160 which the last time it was invoked, uh, people were going around abducting people and murdering

00:05:06.400 them.

00:05:06.620 Um, and so that the prime minister basically admitted that he lost control of the country

00:05:12.980 at that point and needed to take extenuating circumstances to deal with that situation.

00:05:17.520 This is not the case here in 2022, Canada, Justin Trudeau has lost control of the country

00:05:24.220 because people refuse to be controlled by him anymore because the means by which he's controlling

00:05:28.980 them no longer makes sense to them.

00:05:30.720 This is not a crisis of murder and kidnapping, um, and terrorism.

00:05:36.220 These are just peaceful Canadian citizens who didn't feel heard.

00:05:41.000 So they took their concerns to Ottawa.

00:05:43.660 And that now has resulted in what could be a declaration of war against them.

00:05:49.220 Likewise at the border, uh, you've got Canadians trapped within their own countries.

00:05:54.440 In some cases, they're trapped within their own provinces, trapped within their own homes.

00:05:58.680 They're not allowed to travel.

00:06:00.340 So they block the border and Justin Trudeau gets mad.

00:06:04.560 Um, basically this amounts to a suspension of our charter of rights and freedoms, but I

00:06:10.900 don't know if we're going to be able to tangibly tell the difference because for two years,

00:06:15.060 we've had our charter of rights and freedoms basically suspended by the federal government.

00:06:20.440 They've inhibited our ability to protest who we can have in our homes, how we can travel

00:06:25.620 within and outside of our own country.

00:06:27.860 Uh, they forcibly taken people to COVID jail.

00:06:31.920 So incarcerating Canadians without trial, we've seen search and seizure of property in the case

00:06:38.840 of Coutts, Alberta, and we'll get to that in a little bit.

00:06:41.020 So I'm, if they make the charter disappear, I'm not sure how many of us would actually

00:06:45.860 notice at this point that there's like a sick, perverse irony in all of this, because

00:06:50.420 almost every one of Justin Trudeau's comments against the people at Coutts, the people at

00:06:55.260 the ambassador bridge, the people in Ottawa could be made against himself for the past two

00:07:00.100 years.

00:07:00.400 And the premiers across these provinces who have fundamentally undermined and stripped people

00:07:05.360 of their basic rights and dignities.

00:07:07.580 Uh, the criticisms often are, well, you're not allowing free travel.

00:07:10.740 You're not allowing people to participate in society.

00:07:12.940 It's a nuisance.

00:07:14.060 It's an encumbrance.

00:07:15.180 I mean, you're not allowing businesses to prosper and affecting all these things negatively.

00:07:18.820 Well, that's what you have been doing for two years.

00:07:21.600 Um, and the fact of the matter is I've been down there.

00:07:24.740 Sid is down there.

00:07:25.440 Obviously Kian's been down there.

00:07:27.380 Anytime someone tries to do a test, there's all these articles out there about, oh, well,

00:07:31.380 I was trying to see a loved one and they wouldn't let me through the border.

00:07:34.100 So they died before I got there.

00:07:35.700 Yeah.

00:07:36.060 Listen, the fact of the matter is, is if you roll up to that block and you've got a bloody good

00:07:39.880 reason to get through, they're going to move a tractor immediately for those people, because 0.76

00:07:44.080 we know for a fact there was a, there was something apparently, and I don't know if this is confirmed,

00:07:48.500 but, um, someone was attempting to, to lodge sort of a counter protest and they got about

00:07:53.380 a dozen trucks with livestock.

00:07:55.580 And the intention apparently from what we're hearing on the ground was to drive through

00:08:00.420 and then have them block the border.

00:08:02.080 And then they would have a whole story.

00:08:03.320 All the media rolled out their cameras and were ready for this horrible story, um, about

00:08:08.160 the livestock being stranded.

00:08:10.220 Of course, the RCMP was walking the road and the boys down in coots, the, the, the trackers,

00:08:16.000 the farmers, they're like, we're not going to, we're not going to let livestock suffer.

00:08:19.140 They immediately move their vehicles.

00:08:21.140 So these narratives are categorically false.

00:08:23.640 Um, and, and to criticize people based on what you yourself have been doing for two years 0.98

00:08:28.920 is ridiculous.

00:08:30.300 We're seeing even now that there is actually seemingly some semblance of an opposition under 0.90

00:08:35.160 Candace Bergen, um, that people are starting to criticize these actions, starting to say

00:08:41.480 that there's an end to it.

00:08:42.280 And Justin Trudeau keeps saying that he is willing to allow or look at any sort of methodology

00:08:47.600 in order to put an end to this.

00:08:49.180 Well, end your unconstitutional charter violating mandates and this ends.

00:08:54.400 That's it.

00:08:55.680 Maybe resign while you're at it, but definitely end the mandates because that's what these

00:08:59.800 people are asking for.

00:09:00.700 And it's funny when I was talking to the truckers and I was, I was trying to really grasp what

00:09:06.400 they were after.

00:09:07.260 And I was, I was talking to dozens of people.

00:09:10.400 Ultimately they want the Canadian government to obey the laws in Canada.

00:09:14.700 Yeah.

00:09:15.260 That is what the truckers are asking for.

00:09:17.100 They're not asking for special treatment.

00:09:19.000 They're not asking for the government to cave on some big front.

00:09:22.400 The truckers demand is quite simply obey the Canadian charter, the measure by which all

00:09:27.280 laws are tested.

00:09:28.280 But that's their ask and that's not what Justin Trudeau has been doing.

00:09:31.920 They aren't asking for anything unusual.

00:09:33.860 They want to go back to January, 2020.

00:09:36.980 That's what they want.

00:09:37.940 They just want to go back to normal, not some crazy new normal, but the old normal where,

00:09:43.960 where the government respected the law and so did Canadian citizens.

00:09:47.680 These people at these protests, they are not normally politically engaged.

00:09:54.880 They're not lawbreakers.

00:09:56.100 They're not protesters.

00:09:57.460 They're not convoyers.

00:09:58.760 They're moms, they're dads, they're normal people to inspire an otherwise politically apolitical

00:10:07.600 person to pack up their life and go to Ottawa for starting now three weeks.

00:10:14.760 You've driven them to that.

00:10:16.880 The government has driven them to that.

00:10:18.660 Instead of saying, what have we done to drive so many of you to participate in this organic

00:10:26.680 movement that is taking off across the country, but also across the world, as we've seen, we've

00:10:32.160 seen convoys, even in Israel that they've inspired these normal people to do this, which is, I

00:10:40.720 mean, look, it's a street party, but I mean, instead of the government saying, what have

00:10:45.240 we done to, to mobilize this many people?

00:10:49.020 They say, how do we stop the mobilization in the quickest, most forceful way possible?

00:10:54.300 And it's, it's as though, like, I don't know if it is this extent of an ineptitude.

00:10:59.080 I don't know how it's possible.

00:11:00.140 And it permeates everything from local provincial governments, purportedly conservative governments

00:11:05.280 all the way up to the federal government.

00:11:07.040 But everything that they do is literally the opposite of what an intelligent person would

00:11:12.500 do in that situation.

00:11:13.360 You can go back to Pastor Arthur Pawlowski, who is now, and we'll talk about this in a

00:11:17.040 bit, but sitting in jail, awaiting a bail hearing for, we'll talk about this, but everything

00:11:22.620 they've done to Pastor Arthur Pawlowski, that ongoing persecution, now what they're doing

00:11:26.020 to these truckers, they're punching down, to use the term of the progressives, they are

00:11:30.540 punching down time and time again and beating up on people, abusing their power, and then

00:11:35.920 they're shocked when people become upset.

00:11:38.140 But I can tell you, this weekend, and I'm sure lots of our other rebel reporters will

00:11:41.580 say the same thing, every week, basically, on Saturday, there has been protests.

00:11:45.520 They've ranged from 1,000 to 7,000, maybe even a little bit more than that.

00:11:50.600 But we're seeing them walk down 17th Avenue, one of the trendiest avenues that's been dubbed

00:11:55.240 now the Freedom Mile, and it stretches on for like 10, 15 blocks, just sheer people filling

00:12:01.180 the streets.

00:12:02.080 And I can tell you, every past weekend, up until these last two weekends, this last weekend

00:12:07.580 particularly, the very trendy shops, the places that are still doing QR codes, even though

00:12:12.400 they're not supposed to, the vibe from them has been swearing, it has been heckling, and

00:12:17.840 it has been rude.

00:12:19.140 I can tell you, on Saturday, when I was out there, people were cheering.

00:12:23.820 They were clapping.

00:12:24.980 This entire subset of society that was maybe got vaccinated, has been going along with everything,

00:12:30.800 don't really care.

00:12:31.740 They're looking at the truckers and saying, well, hey, hold on a minute here.

00:12:34.480 And the tide has shifted because they were cheering, they were clapping, they were saying

00:12:38.480 some less than parliamentary things about Justin Trudeau.

00:12:41.300 But the vibe, the culture, the mood has shifted, where even the moderates, even the people on

00:12:47.460 the fence have shifted.

00:12:48.900 And I think, I don't know if AD happens to have it, but this Bill Maher clip that is out

00:12:53.140 there sums up the international attention.

00:12:56.300 This isn't just a local embarrassment.

00:12:58.300 This is an international story drawing international attention to the extreme.

00:13:02.580 So I don't know if AD has that clip.

00:13:05.520 Okay, we'll run that clip a little later because we're just pretty busy.

00:13:10.300 But the extent of this, it's baffling.

00:13:13.980 And some of the extreme rhetoric that there has been out there about conservatives in the

00:13:17.680 past, well, mainstream voices internationally are saying those things somewhat validly about

00:13:24.700 Justin Trudeau now.

00:13:26.180 It's an incredible time to be in Canada, certainly, and virtually unprecedented since, well, guess

00:13:32.380 what, Trudeau Sr. was in office.

00:13:34.680 Yeah, and I think even the family that owns the Ambassador Bridge, the Maroon family, they've 0.99

00:13:43.060 actually come out and said, you know, the quickest way to end this is just to lift the mandates

00:13:46.760 on both sides of the border.

00:13:49.240 Which, I mean, they're the ones that they lose toll every time that somebody can't cross

00:13:54.100 that bridge.

00:13:54.660 And they've said, look, just lift the mandates.

00:13:59.180 It seems so simple.

00:14:01.220 But instead of just lifting the mandates, the prime minister, who has lost control of the

00:14:08.220 most peaceful, docile people on the face of the earth, has decided to declare war on

00:14:14.540 them, we should have, I guess, given what we saw happen in Coutts and the immediate escalation

00:14:24.700 of what happened in Coutts, we should have realized that there was some sort of things

00:14:29.600 happening in the prime minister's office to deal with the border, because it started off

00:14:35.220 yesterday as sneaky and sleazy.

00:14:38.760 Yeah, we'll talk about this too.

00:14:41.520 But then Coutts sort of devolved into a little bit of a police state zone down there.

00:14:47.900 But before we go on to that, we'll talk about two-thirds of Canadians ready to drop restrictions.

00:14:51.920 This is thank you, truckers, by the way, because this is shifting, like 10 points a week of people

00:14:59.840 who are ready to drop restrictions.

00:15:01.240 And the longer these protests go on, the more people are against restrictions.

00:15:08.000 And I mean, it seems like a political no-brainer if you're the prime minister to say, you know

00:15:14.080 what, I've heard from the people, I've seen the polling, let's lift the mandates.

00:15:19.420 But that's not what's happening here.

00:15:20.940 He's doubling down.

00:15:22.380 Well, and the incredible thing here is I want to point out, and this is vital, this is not

00:15:27.300 a pragmatic, oh, well, things are inconvenient, 99.9% of people in Alberta are not affected

00:15:35.660 by a blockade at Coutts.

00:15:38.000 They are ideologically aligning themselves.

00:15:40.580 That's where the shift is taking place.

00:15:42.280 It's not that they're inconvenienced because they can't cross at the Coutts border crossing.

00:15:46.700 It's they're ideologically aligning with these truckers.

00:15:49.340 Someone mentioned this to me the other day, and I didn't actually see it myself, but there

00:15:52.340 was actually a CBC poll, and I think it was something like 45% of people, even among CBC

00:15:58.600 viewers, which I can tell you is no one attending any of these protests, but even among CBC viewers,

00:16:04.100 it was something like 45% were calling for all mandates to be ended, all, period.

00:16:09.720 That's CBC viewership.

00:16:12.160 Categorically, like we saw on the streets and the cafes, like we're seeing in the polls,

00:16:16.280 and like we're seeing from international media and local media, like even India News is doing

00:16:21.680 stories about Justin Trudeau stubbornly not ending the mandates.

00:16:26.420 It's just so universal and so transparent that the tide has changed.

00:16:30.980 Even Jason Kenney, and I gave him his two-day window to change his mind.

00:16:34.780 He didn't do it.

00:16:35.340 It took him a couple of weeks.

00:16:36.520 Every politician now is suddenly tweeting about condemning communism and how we need to

00:16:42.080 open up and the federal conservatives, we won't stop until this is over.

00:16:46.360 You're a little bit late.

00:16:48.060 You kind of-

00:16:48.600 Two years late.

00:16:49.200 I gave you your two-day window.

00:16:51.480 You guys missed it.

00:16:52.340 Nice try, but no one's buying it.

00:16:54.380 But I mean, things are trending in the right direction, and certainly the politicians who

00:16:58.340 were speaking out against us all along probably have themselves some supporters for life.

00:17:03.380 Yeah, this is something we should point out, too.

00:17:05.060 After a week of somebody saw a Fed with a Nazi flag in the trucker's convoy two weeks ago,

00:17:15.860 that's all that they could talk about.

00:17:18.740 But yet, if you look at the back there, there's the communist flag.

00:17:23.360 And the communist flag should be at least as unpalatable to free people in a civilized

00:17:29.040 society as the Nazi flag.

00:17:31.200 It stands for bigotry, genocide, persecution, forced labor, internment camps, all those things.

00:17:40.000 There's confiscation of property, starvation-

00:17:44.600 Are you talking about communism or Canada?

00:17:46.040 I lost track here.

00:17:48.040 Yeah.

00:17:48.820 No, the communist flag that's in the background there.

00:17:52.880 And that is not on the news.

00:17:54.740 It's just, I guess it's just something, and I know this, it's something you normally see

00:18:01.000 at a left-wing protest, a pro-union protest, anywhere where there's a gathering of public

00:18:07.140 sector workers, you will see a communist flag there.

00:18:12.240 It's, they wear the pins on their hats and on their jackets, as though it's no big deal.

00:18:18.560 They do it all the time.

00:18:20.660 But that is as equally as evil as the Nazi flag. 0.61

00:18:25.140 But it's no big deal.

00:18:26.300 Like, they've killed hundreds of millions.

00:18:28.520 Yeah.

00:18:28.740 And they've literally targeted, like, if you're LGBTQ, you should not be in a march, because

00:18:34.200 guess who have been largely targeted and executed by Che Guevara, Stalin, and company?

00:18:40.460 Like, it is a symbol that should be as shocking to you as that, as a swastika.

00:18:46.020 Realistically, that is a completely fair comparable.

00:18:49.540 And that is the parallel.

00:18:51.520 A progressive march with a communist flag, and then a, I don't even, this is a distinction.

00:18:56.700 I want to make this clear.

00:18:57.440 Those communist flags are authentically among these liberal things in all the time.

00:19:04.480 They have to scour Canada. 0.80

00:19:06.460 I've been to countenance for this.

00:19:07.500 They have to plant a fed. 0.72

00:19:08.980 That guy was a fed. 0.95

00:19:10.300 If you show up with a Nazi flag in Milk River, Milk River is the most peaceful place. 0.95

00:19:17.440 Everyone's feeding each other.

00:19:18.440 It's like a hippie commune when you're down there.

00:19:20.180 It's the most loving place I've ever been.

00:19:21.920 If you showed up with a swastika, you'd be in trouble.

00:19:24.380 Like, you'd be out of there faster than you could possibly imagine.

00:19:28.340 So this is the distinction, is these people down in Milk River, these people in Coutts,

00:19:32.600 these people at the Ambassador Bridge, they're saying, leave us alone.

00:19:35.200 Respect the law in Canada.

00:19:36.360 We want our freedom.

00:19:37.760 The counter-protesters are saying, we want communism.

00:19:41.220 Yeah.

00:19:42.080 Yeah.

00:19:42.540 They want more government control.

00:19:44.740 Yeah.

00:19:45.960 We've got even more bizarre signage from over the weekend.

00:19:50.880 We've got kill the anti-vax.

00:19:52.660 Yeah. 0.98

00:19:54.380 Fitting.

00:19:55.760 I mean, that is.

00:19:57.520 I mean, they're ramming people.

00:19:59.140 They're using rhetoric about how these people are taking up space, the wasteful eaters.

00:20:05.380 Like, it's absolutely terrible.

00:20:06.920 Tax the unvaccinated seems like some lunatic Antifa slogan, but that's what the government

00:20:16.340 in Quebec was saying. 0.93

00:20:18.360 Like, we've become completely unhinged.

00:20:20.520 And when the politicians are unhinged and extreme, which Justin Trudeau, what's his face

00:20:25.860 over there in Quebec, and most politicians, their rhetoric towards unvaccinated people

00:20:31.340 has been unhinged and extreme.

00:20:33.340 Uh, Rachel Notley the other day was saying, we need to end the lawlessness.

00:20:37.020 And I think I've said this before, but I'll say it again.

00:20:38.980 The lawlessness is what the government has been doing for two years.

00:20:42.760 The lawlessness is violating the criminal code, is violating charter rights.

00:20:46.360 Lawlessness, and by definition, like anti-legality, is when a credible organization, like the Justice

00:20:53.940 Center for Constitutional Freedoms, or the Democracy Fund, challenges and asks for health

00:20:58.300 experts from the government to defend their positions in court.

00:21:01.040 And they say, oh, I'm on vacation that week.

00:21:03.240 I can't possibly make it.

00:21:05.060 They can't be held accountable for two years while they're violating our freedoms.

00:21:09.220 This isn't a two-week, we're making an exception because of an exceptional circumstance.

00:21:13.580 This has been two years of, well, we don't really have to answer your questions because

00:21:16.760 we're unelected health bureaucrats.

00:21:19.040 And that is troubling.

00:21:21.260 Now, I think this is the time that we had scheduled to talk to David Menzies from the

00:21:26.320 Ambassador Bridge, which I think is a good jumping off point because we'll finish up

00:21:30.760 with David and then we'll move on to, um, we'll move on to Alberta news because things

00:21:37.100 are really getting heated down at Coutts, at least they were last night.

00:21:40.900 Uh, Mr. Producer's just giving David a call right now.

00:21:43.960 Um, so I guess it would have been on Saturday, police started moving in on the protest at

00:21:50.460 the Ambassador Bridge.

00:21:51.420 And I think that was directly because Biden leaned on the Canadians.

00:21:55.140 And I think that horrible, oh, David, your head's on sideways.

00:21:58.240 That horrible, uh, governor in Michigan did the same thing.

00:22:01.860 Oh, there's, let's get David Menzies flipped around.

00:22:04.420 Oh, hey, how's that, Sheila?

00:22:09.200 Hey, you're looking good, David.

00:22:10.740 How's it going down there?

00:22:12.660 It's a beautiful sunny day, by the way.

00:22:15.320 Happy Valentine's Day to you.

00:22:17.280 And, uh, Adam, am I allowed to say that these days or, uh, you know, but, uh, and I already

00:22:24.740 picked up by, uh, you know, here's why I love the dollar stores.

00:22:27.720 As you know, Sheila picked up the Valentine's Day card for Lady Menzoid. 0.96

00:22:31.480 Only a buck, but on the back, it's pre-printed $4.50.

00:22:35.460 I make sure to circle that so she doesn't miss it.

00:22:38.000 So she thinks I paid more than I actually did.

00:22:40.520 What do you think about that?

00:22:42.520 I bet you put some scratch and win lottery tickets in there for her too, you romantic guy.

00:22:49.400 So tell us, what's the scene, what's the scene down there at the Ambassador Bridge?

00:22:53.960 Do we still have protesters?

00:22:55.100 What's the police presence like?

00:22:56.380 A huge police presence, uh, Sheila and Adam.

00:23:01.240 Um, what's more, uh, all over the city, uh, I sent you a text, Sheila.

00:23:07.320 I said that I feel like a rat in a maze because wherever you try to navigate, you come face

00:23:14.380 to face with big concrete barriers that the police put down there with heavy equipment.

00:23:22.180 And, um, it, you know, it's very funny.

00:23:25.120 Just, um, less than an hour ago, I was at a Tim Hortons and what should be a jam Tim Hortons, uh,

00:23:31.960 at the beginning of the lunchtime rush was anything but.

00:23:35.780 I was the only customer in there.

00:23:38.400 There was nobody at the drive-thru.

00:23:40.820 And I asked the lady, um, uh, are you busy today? 0.93

00:23:44.200 She said, we're dead.

00:23:45.280 And it's because you literally can't get to it unless you know some secret back road, uh, entrance.

00:23:51.560 So these demonstrators, as you know, guys, have been called economic terrorists.

00:23:57.040 Well, who are the economic terrorists now, I ask you?

00:24:00.720 Yeah, I have to ask you, Dave, from, I mean, we've seen it down here in Southern Alberta.

00:24:06.740 It, it seems very much half the time we're hearing that the border isn't being actually

00:24:11.200 blockaded, um, that they're, they're letting people through, but the RCMP, the police, the

00:24:16.020 local authorities are in fact, the ones blockading everything.

00:24:18.880 I thought they were anti-blockade.

00:24:21.500 Yeah, it's very interesting, Adam.

00:24:23.640 I think the reason for the blockades, in fact, I'm pretty sure of it, is to prevent any

00:24:29.800 repeat, um, blockade from occurring.

00:24:33.580 Many of the demonstrators I spoke with over the weekend, they vowed to return.

00:24:38.240 I'll tell you something, guys, that'll be a very tall order indeed.

00:24:42.900 Um, I couldn't even get across the street, uh, not as a demonstrator, but just as a member

00:24:48.380 of media to get a better view of the, uh, Ambassador Bridge.

00:24:51.840 An OPP officer said I had to go to some command posts and then get an escort.

00:24:56.880 And it was like something out of Mount T. Python.

00:24:59.300 I said, can you just let me cross the street?

00:25:01.560 So this city is really clamped down and, um, it's a perverse irony, isn't it?

00:25:08.460 Uh, the blockade got the attention of authorities because it was doing so much economic damage.

00:25:16.380 I mean, in terms of magnitudes, it was a fraction of what we see going on in Ottawa today.

00:25:21.840 But in terms of economic damage, uh, depending on who you believe, uh, the mayor of Windsor

00:25:27.520 said $450 million a day, not getting across the bridge in goods.

00:25:32.720 Uh, the premier said on Friday it was 700 million.

00:25:35.700 So we know it's in the hundreds of millions that got the attention of the powers that be.

00:25:40.660 That got the emergency, the state of emergency declared, which when you think of it, is it

00:25:46.400 really a state of emergency?

00:25:47.620 I mean, you'd think there was a cholera, uh, outbreak or a hurricane or a volcano erupting,

00:25:53.440 but no, it's a, it's affecting some powerful people in, uh, the money business.

00:25:59.560 And, um, that's why this was targeted, uh, more so than any of, of the other, uh, blockades

00:26:07.700 or demonstrations, I think.

00:26:11.100 You know, David, that's, sorry, I was just going to say, it's an interesting point you

00:26:14.620 make because Justin Trudeau right now is seriously considering, and I'm sure that he will invoke

00:26:19.000 the Emergency Measures Act, which replaced the War Measures Act, but in effect, it does

00:26:23.540 the same thing.

00:26:24.120 And it's designed actually for times of like war, um, or critical and urgent situations

00:26:34.160 that endanger the lives, health and safety of Canadians, um, such as natural disasters,

00:26:39.880 disease outbreaks, like cholera, like you just said, um, or civil unrest.

00:26:45.480 But what we're seeing is not civil unrest.

00:26:47.840 These are people who are protesting the government.

00:26:52.000 And I think there's a very big difference between widespread civil unrest, a la the purge, versus

00:26:59.080 what the organized peaceful demonstrations we're seeing now.

00:27:03.000 Oh, a hundred percent, Sheila, as you said at the beginning of the show, uh, we go back

00:27:08.160 to 1970 when Papa Trudeau, uh, Pierre Elliott, that is, was in charge, and that was the FLQ

00:27:15.460 crisis.

00:27:15.920 Now, you were dealing with a kidnapping, you were dealing with a murder, uh, you were dealing

00:27:20.080 with multiple bomb threats, so on and so forth.

00:27:22.720 That's why the army was brought in.

00:27:24.980 Uh, but that's not the case here.

00:27:26.660 As much as Justin Trudeau and some in the mainstream media vilify these people as big,

00:27:32.980 frigates, racist, haters, you name it.

00:27:36.200 Um, well, that is not the case when you go out and talk to them.

00:27:40.320 Um, we're talking salt of the earth Canadians.

00:27:42.820 We're talking about people, uh, that have never been to a demonstration before.

00:27:47.640 And unlike the left, you don't see these protesters for hire mobs come out.

00:27:53.440 Um, these are people, Canadians are very polite, but, you know, as the saying goes, uh, you kick

00:28:01.260 a dog hard enough and long enough, that dog is eventually going to bite back.

00:28:06.120 And that's what we're seeing, an element of frustration in our great dominion, um, and

00:28:12.320 that is bringing people out.

00:28:14.160 And my goodness, as you also said, Sheila, from New Zealand to Paris, uh, this has sparked

00:28:20.840 a movement.

00:28:21.600 I mean, um, the Canadian flag seems to be a symbol now, um, of who, you know, you know,

00:28:28.680 of the anti-lockdown mandate.

00:28:31.180 And so, uh, this is bigger than just what's happening in Canada.

00:28:36.200 You know, I'm glad you say that, David, because, you know, we saw the American flag used as

00:28:42.240 a symbol of freedom during the Hong Kong protests.

00:28:45.540 And now the Canadian flag on a hockey stick has taken the place of that symbol as the working 0.82

00:28:52.320 class resistance to these lockdowns.

00:28:54.600 And this really, the invoking of the Emergency Measures Act is an admission that Justin Trudeau

00:28:59.580 has completely failed, but that he also refuses to do the reasonable thing because you can

00:29:05.940 only invoke this thing if the emergency is of such a proportion that it exceeds the capacity

00:29:16.100 or the authority of a province to deal with it.

00:29:18.980 We're not there.

00:29:20.280 There's a real easy way to deal with this.

00:29:22.640 Lift the restrictions.

00:29:24.500 But he would rather crack down on peaceful Canadians instead of do the one thing that could make

00:29:29.180 this all go away.

00:29:30.260 But that would be an admission that he was wrong.

00:29:33.480 A hundred percent.

00:29:35.780 I love what you said there about that flag is the thing we're hearing time and time again,

00:29:38.980 you're probably hearing it on the ground too, is people saying they're finally proud to be

00:29:42.700 Canadian again.

00:29:43.400 I've had like a dozen people with tear-filled eyes saying that.

00:29:47.060 It's interesting though, Dave, because you mentioned like the criteria and the threshold for

00:29:51.800 this Emergency Measures Act.

00:29:52.720 It's almost as though there's dozens of churches being vandalized and burnt across the country.

00:29:58.420 Why is it when you can see mass looting, you can see protests, you can see everything else

00:30:03.200 under the sun, you can literally see dozens of churches burned, 60 vandalized plus in total.

00:30:08.620 There's no measure of concern or care about this.

00:30:11.600 Are they reacting to these truckers so militantly because they're being more effective than any

00:30:16.380 other movement possibly in Canadian history to rally the nation?

00:30:20.480 Oh, a hundred percent.

00:30:21.600 You know, Justin Trudeau has been humiliated.

00:30:25.760 You know, he never reached out, had a discussion with anybody.

00:30:29.660 Rather, he vilified and demonized them.

00:30:32.020 He called them the fringe element.

00:30:34.500 Well, guys, you might be aware of that Maru public opinion poll that came out a couple of

00:30:39.240 days ago, that based on Justin Trudeau's behavior of the last two weeks, his approval is now at 16%.

00:30:49.200 In other words, if there was an election today, only 16% of Canadians would support him or vote

00:30:55.120 for him.

00:30:55.820 Wow.

00:30:56.500 Talk about a fringe element.

00:30:59.040 I mean, Justin Trudeau, please look in the mirror.

00:31:01.880 And you're right, Adam.

00:31:02.600 One of the most overlooked, underreported stories of 2021 was the arson and vandalism of churches

00:31:12.860 across our dominion.

00:31:16.200 Politicians of every political stripe and every level avoided that like Superman avoids kryptonite.

00:31:24.460 It was embarrassing.

00:31:25.820 I also go back, you know, guys, you know, two years ago, we had rail blockades.

00:31:31.780 And that went on for weeks and weeks and weeks.

00:31:35.880 It cost the Canadian economy billions and billions and billions of dollars.

00:31:40.580 And there was no vilification of those demonstrators by the government or the mainstream media.

00:31:46.660 There was no sense of urgency.

00:31:48.300 OK, you had your 48-hour news cycle time and now get off the tracks.

00:31:52.820 No, no, no.

00:31:53.380 I mean, eventually it was shut down, but it went on for several weeks.

00:31:56.160 And yet here, as soon as these trucker convoy demonstrations happen, there is the vilification

00:32:04.080 and an urgent timeline to remove them.

00:32:07.220 And I'll tell you, we're talking truckers.

00:32:10.960 I mean, I love the truckers.

00:32:14.760 As Tucker Carlson said a week and a half ago, and I thought it was so profound,

00:32:20.260 if you are alive today, thank a trucker.

00:32:24.740 That's why groceries are at the supermarket. 0.98

00:32:27.120 That's why medicine is at the pharmacy and so much, much more.

00:32:32.060 And the idea of some people walking by these big rigs in Ottawa and pelting them with eggs.

00:32:38.860 You know, the irony is kind of incredible.

00:32:40.820 How do those nut bars think the eggs got on the shelves in the first place? 1.00

00:32:46.080 You know what, David, I think a lot of it is jealousy.

00:32:51.000 A lot of people who fancied themselves to be human rights activists are just not.

00:32:56.520 They want to be in the class of human rights activists, but they really aren't.

00:33:01.960 The most successful human rights movement in a generation was born in the cab of a tractor 0.96

00:33:09.420 and in the cab of a truck.

00:33:11.860 And that's the truth. 0.63

00:33:13.120 And these are the people who are constantly maligned as Nazis, bigots, backwoods, uneducated.

00:33:19.960 But at the end of the day, they are the people who are standing up for the freedom of everybody else,

00:33:25.440 even their enemies.

00:33:27.800 Oh, 100 percent.

00:33:28.900 You know, Sheila, we're talking the common man driving a common van, as the old song used to go.

00:33:35.760 And, you know, these elitists, the very idea that they would get into a cab of an 18-wheel,

00:33:41.700 well, first of all, they wouldn't be able to drive it.

00:33:44.640 They wouldn't know what gear to put it in.

00:33:48.240 These truckers, not only, like I said before, quoting Tucker Carlson, thank a trucker if you are alive today.

00:33:54.640 The hours and hours they put on the road, you know, the hard work.

00:34:00.900 And you know what?

00:34:01.580 Sometimes the returns aren't all that great.

00:34:04.000 You know, it's hard to make a living.

00:34:06.700 The humiliation that they have to endure when they – we've done stories about this – when they drop off a load somewhere and ask to use the restroom.

00:34:17.760 And the people they're delivering to – sorry, truckers are persona non grata here.

00:34:24.300 Try the Tim Hortons. 0.98

00:34:25.520 That is disgusting and disgraceful. 0.61

00:34:27.780 But, again, the elites, they look down on blue-collar people. 0.57

00:34:34.180 And there is absolutely nothing to look down upon these people.

00:34:39.400 You know, I read a book about 10 years ago.

00:34:41.660 It was called Blue Collar and Proud of It.

00:34:44.240 And the author, a high school dropout, was talking about how he started his own landscaping business in Massachusetts.

00:34:52.820 And it grew from a one-man operation to $2 million in revenue per year.

00:34:58.680 And, you know, as the saying goes, guys, the work may be dirty, but the money's clean.

00:35:03.300 But all these elitists, all these, you know, downtown Starbucks people walking around with their lattes, they wouldn't dream of doing – of going to a blue-collar profession.

00:35:16.580 And the joke's on them.

00:35:17.940 That's where the jobs are.

00:35:19.620 That's where some really good-paying jobs are.

00:35:22.240 And yet, they're going to, I don't know, University for Gender Studies, where the only job available to them is to teach gender studies.

00:35:34.100 Yeah.

00:35:35.640 This had to be working class from the get-go.

00:35:39.860 The other incredible thing, too, that I've noticed is the folks, like ourselves, doing real journalism.

00:35:45.980 Very many of us have blue-collar working roots, Sheila, myself, Sid.

00:35:53.480 Sid, who's been absolutely killing this story, he was a roofer.

00:35:57.400 Like, it had to come from the real people who are suffering, because the fact of the matter is we'll outwork these people.

00:36:05.780 We, as journalists, will tell the story.

00:36:07.980 When we're covering a story, mainstream media rolls up for 5, 10 minutes, gets a shot, and leaves.

00:36:12.760 I'm there for 16 hours if I need to be.

00:36:15.200 I sleep 4 hours, and I'm back.

00:36:17.060 Same thing with these truckers. 0.81

00:36:18.380 They're not getting paid, but they'll outwork the government. 0.99

00:36:22.120 One trucker can take on workload-wise as much as any of these bureaucrats and their teams can do. 1.00

00:36:27.640 So, it had to be working class.

00:36:29.120 Yeah, David, I wanted to go back to something you said, because I thought it was very profound, and that's kind of rare for you.

00:36:34.940 So, I just want to point it out.

00:36:38.240 Hey, it's Valentine's Day.

00:36:39.760 Give me a little love.

00:36:41.540 I'm teasing.

00:36:42.460 I'm teasing.

00:36:43.020 But you did note that when it started to hurt, GM, Toyota, Dodge, that's when the government all of a sudden became anti-lockdown activists, and they were willing to move heaven and earth to get the economy back going.

00:37:03.760 But when it was mom-and-pop shops, florists, small restaurants, little pubs, they didn't care.

00:37:11.000 They could keep you locked down for two years.

00:37:12.680 They didn't care what happened to your business.

00:37:14.520 But when their big, rich friends like Toyota and GM started to hurt, oh, and when, you know, Walmart supply chains were affected, oh, that's when they had to act.

00:37:27.040 It only lasted six days.

00:37:28.340 And it's also Alberta oil.

00:37:30.080 Like, it's only Eastern industries.

00:37:32.400 Yeah.

00:37:33.040 Look at Premier Ford's family business, Deco Labels.

00:37:37.340 I understand business has never been better at Deco Labels.

00:37:41.580 I don't think it's closed a single day.

00:37:43.940 They're printing all those, you know, directional arrows and whatnot, so that when we're walking in the supermarket,

00:37:49.480 we don't have a head-on collision and pass our COVID cooties on to one another.

00:37:56.040 So COVID-19 has been very, very good for the Ford family business.

00:38:01.600 And yet, he's the guy who on Friday said, if you don't leave when asked to buy the cups,

00:38:07.860 you're going to face a fine of $100,000 up to, and perhaps even a year in jail.

00:38:14.380 This is staggering.

00:38:15.820 And I think literally since 2019, I read this the other day, I don't know if this is confirmed,

00:38:21.080 but I believe the Ford family net worth since 2019 has gone up 15 times,

00:38:26.740 and it's largely in relation to this printing business.

00:38:31.560 Well, Adam, I did try to confirm that.

00:38:34.860 It's a private company.

00:38:35.900 It's not publicly traded.

00:38:37.160 So, you know, those might just be unfounded rumors.

00:38:40.480 However, I did, because, you know, like Sheila, like yourself, Adam, Sid, everybody else on the team,

00:38:46.660 we always go out to seek the other side of the story.

00:38:49.360 Last year, I went to Deco Labels in Etobicoke and went up to the door, which was locked.

00:38:56.220 And what did they do?

00:38:58.540 They called the police.

00:38:59.800 And once upon a time, 2017, Doug Ford himself, when he was running for mayor,

00:39:07.500 was pitching a Rebel News show, a weekly show called Ford Nation.

00:39:12.820 It's gone from that to calling the police just when you knock on the door of a business

00:39:18.160 to get their side of the story.

00:39:19.740 Isn't that amazing?

00:39:20.620 David, you know what's amazing?

00:39:23.000 That you escaped the weekend without getting arrested.

00:39:25.540 That was my biggest stress on Friday night.

00:39:27.980 I contacted your videographer and said,

00:39:30.860 please get David's lawyer's information and his wife's information

00:39:34.020 before you guys go out on location.

00:39:36.700 Because when the police are around,

00:39:39.140 there's a 75% chance that David's leaving in handcuffs.

00:39:42.600 But somehow you managed to escape it.

00:39:44.760 But tell us what the police interaction with the journalists was like over the weekend.

00:39:49.820 Yeah, you know, that was a stunning, Sheila.

00:39:53.020 You know, I can understand somewhat getting demonstrators off the streets and what have you.

00:39:59.720 But so many members of the media, the mainstream media, other independent media,

00:40:04.980 we were on sidewalks and an OPP liaison officer said,

00:40:10.800 you must vacate this sidewalk.

00:40:13.940 I said, wait a second, I'm not trying to give you a hard time,

00:40:15.640 but this is a public sidewalk.

00:40:17.040 And he said, we have a Supreme Court decision to fall back on that gives us this right.

00:40:23.960 Well, you better, you know, believe it, Sheila.

00:40:26.940 When I get back to the office, I'm going to have our lawyers look into that

00:40:29.980 because I've never heard such a thing.

00:40:31.880 So we moved on to a plaza.

00:40:33.640 No, you've got to leave the plaza too.

00:40:36.020 Cross the street to another plaza.

00:40:37.960 Nope, you have to leave this plaza too.

00:40:39.560 At one point, I was about a kilometre away at a Burger King parking lot.

00:40:44.220 His highness didn't order us vacated.

00:40:47.460 But this was, to me, really petty and vindictive.

00:40:51.700 And if the police are going by the book, why wouldn't you want the media recording your behaviour?

00:40:58.120 Why wouldn't you want, you know, the story to get out there that, you know,

00:41:02.840 and the gist I got from so many police officers, guys, is that their hearts weren't in this operation.

00:41:09.100 You know, they weren't happy about this.

00:41:12.060 You know, you get the statistical anomaly in law enforcement that can't wait to whack them and stack them, as the saying goes.

00:41:18.940 But I thought the way journalism was being shut down was egregious.

00:41:24.580 And like I said, I sure want to take a look at the fine print of this Supreme Court decision that somehow gives police the power to remove journalists from a public sidewalk, according to the OPP.

00:41:39.900 Can I ask really quickly, I don't know if it's the same.

00:41:42.560 I know down in southern Alberta, when RCMP officers were engaging enforcement, none of them were from Alberta.

00:41:48.460 They flew everybody in.

00:41:49.680 And I understand this is effectively OPP, but does it seem like they're bringing in people from other regions so they aren't sort of policing their own, so to speak?

00:41:58.180 Oh, 100 percent, Adam.

00:42:00.580 I saw police, the RCMP, for example, the Waterloo Regional Police.

00:42:07.820 They had a big contingent staying at the same hotel we were.

00:42:13.020 I saw one of their paddy wagons.

00:42:15.120 And, you know, it was kind of funny because, you know, police services, they said that.

00:42:19.120 David, that's racist against the Irish.

00:42:20.660 That's you're being racist against the Irish, David.

00:42:23.820 I'll make an apology next month on St. Patrick's Day.

00:42:27.660 They're called trucker wagons now.

00:42:29.800 Trucker wagons.

00:42:30.240 Trucker wagons.

00:42:31.720 Oh, the ones I've seen say offender transports or something like that.

00:42:37.580 But, you know, you see these slogans on police cruisers, to serve and protect.

00:42:43.280 That's a good one.

00:42:44.620 Deeds speak.

00:42:46.160 And the Waterloo Regional Police, their slogan, I'm not kidding, folks.

00:42:52.020 People helping people.

00:42:56.560 Wow.

00:42:57.120 I asked a Waterloo Regional Policeman out of Tim Hortons, we tend to find some cops on

00:43:05.600 some days.

00:43:06.220 I said, what's the deal with people helping people?

00:43:08.720 He was a good guy.

00:43:09.600 He said, hey, man, I didn't come up with that.

00:43:12.560 You're going to have to go to headquarters for a comment.

00:43:15.540 But, you know, yeah.

00:43:17.460 Oh, it's the worst, too, because, yeah.

00:43:19.540 How am I being helped by you telling me I can't exercise my constitutional rights to

00:43:26.220 take part in a completely peaceful protest?

00:43:29.640 Because we know that a mostly peaceful protest, according to CNN, that's when you see burning

00:43:35.020 buildings in the background.

00:43:36.160 That's when the reporter is ducking so he doesn't get hit in the noggin with a Molotov

00:43:40.300 cocktail.

00:43:41.620 That's a mostly peaceful protest.

00:43:43.360 But this has been 100 percent peaceful.

00:43:45.600 The vast majority of the arrests that were made, it was a few dozen, police reported they

00:43:53.720 did not have to use force.

00:43:55.680 And they also reported, nor were we encountered by violence.

00:44:00.860 Now, I heard outside of the blockade zone, there might have been an incident.

00:44:05.160 I'm going to be chasing that down later today, guys.

00:44:08.440 But so even when they were getting vehicles towed, even when they were being arrested with

00:44:14.320 potentially serious consequences, I mean, as Premier Ford said, up to 100 grand in a year

00:44:20.540 in jail, there were no, you know, there were no protesters throwing haymakers, much to the

00:44:27.460 chagrin, I would suggest, of members of the mainstream media, because, you know, they would

00:44:32.680 love to capture that on video.

00:44:35.640 You bet.

00:44:36.400 David, before we let you go, because, you know, you're in the middle of a story right

00:44:39.680 there.

00:44:40.040 What do you see there?

00:44:40.880 Are there any protesters there?

00:44:42.260 Have they all been chased off by the cops?

00:44:44.320 Oh, no, it's completely over, Sheila.

00:44:47.260 And in fact, going back to what I said at the beginning with these giant concrete barriers,

00:44:53.640 you can't get a vehicle here through the various side streets.

00:44:58.700 They're all blocked off.

00:45:00.200 Big police presence.

00:45:01.780 And if you're a pedestrian, forget it. 0.99

00:45:04.980 The police are everywhere along the ramps of the bridge.

00:45:09.500 You're, you know, even myself, I'm not a demonstrator.

00:45:12.480 I tried to cross the street.

00:45:14.380 I was forbidden, unless I get a police escort.

00:45:17.740 So, like I said, it'll be a tall order indeed for this protest to resume itself.

00:45:25.500 Now, on the other hand, how long are they going to leave these blockades in place?

00:45:30.000 Because it is creating havoc for businesses.

00:45:32.840 And how long are these police cruisers going to be just idling their engines and looking

00:45:38.480 for pedestrian protesters?

00:45:41.180 But as of right now, it is 100% over.

00:45:46.380 The bridge traffic, as you can see behind me, is moving along.

00:45:51.360 And now we just have to look at those other demonstrations, Coutts, Alberta, Ottawa, of course,

00:45:59.760 and see how that plays out, especially with this ominous saber rattling that we're hearing

00:46:07.040 out of Parliament Hill about the Emergency Services Act being invoked to deal with this.

00:46:15.660 Well, David, you stay safe out there and don't get any tickets for illegal pedestrianism

00:46:20.600 too close to a national border crossing.

00:46:24.480 I guess that's what's happening in Windsor these days.

00:46:26.760 Wouldn't that be amazing, Sheila, with all this anarchy here in Windsor for the last few

00:46:32.940 days, that the cops would issue me, I don't know, a jaywalking ticket for improperly crossing

00:46:38.720 the street.

00:46:39.260 You're tempting fate.

00:46:40.780 You're tempting fate.

00:46:42.000 It's just like calling a shutout, David.

00:46:43.820 You ruined it.

00:46:44.460 You're going to get a ticket.

00:46:46.140 Okay.

00:46:46.700 Well, guys, you're doing a great live stream and a shout out to our entire team.

00:46:51.180 They're putting in endless hours.

00:46:52.540 Sid's piece about the RCMP vandalizing privately owned vehicles on private property, that is

00:47:01.620 despicable.

00:47:02.820 I think that's the worst of the worst in terms of a law enforcement angle for these demonstrations.

00:47:10.700 And we'll see where things are headed with Ottawa.

00:47:14.720 So thank you very much for having me on, guys.

00:47:18.400 Thanks, David.

00:47:18.920 We'll talk soon.

00:47:19.440 Speaking of terrible law enforcement, speaking of just absolutely abysmal law enforcement,

00:47:25.000 we actually have two stories that absolutely beggar belief they are heartbreaking.

00:47:29.340 And I think we will go right away to Sid's story that he broke.

00:47:33.580 For those unfamiliar with the story, there was a number of excavators lined along the side

00:47:39.420 of the road.

00:47:40.080 And the RCMP effectively asked that they be moved away, suggesting that they might be used

00:47:45.160 with the blockade or whatever.

00:47:46.180 So these excavators were owned by people involved in the protest.

00:47:49.660 But just to be clear, they weren't in any way, shape, or form being used.

00:47:53.100 They're separate property.

00:47:54.920 On private land.

00:47:56.360 On private land, away from all of this.

00:47:58.820 So this is the equivalent of like one of the protesters had a summer spot in Kelowna and

00:48:03.800 the RCMP went and raided it.

00:48:05.180 So the RCMP actually asked them to move it so it's out of sight.

00:48:08.180 And then once out of sight, and Sid broke this incredible story.

00:48:10.880 And if anyone's doubting it, there's RCMP confirmation in the audio.

00:48:14.780 I see people on Twitter saying this is fake.

00:48:16.860 It's the RCMP confirms they did this.

00:48:19.140 So they had them move these excavators.

00:48:21.000 And then they sabotaged them as though a thought crime.

00:48:24.120 I guess there's a minority report RCMP station.

00:48:26.620 They pre-vandalized and sabotaged their equipment.

00:48:30.980 I mean, these excavators don't come cheap.

00:48:32.920 Sheila's going to know better than me. 1.00

00:48:33.920 But this is hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars, damaged.

00:48:38.520 And the RCMP confirmed this for purported thought crimes.

00:48:41.680 This isn't they unhooked and pulled something that was blocking the road.

00:48:46.040 This is, oh, by association of being here, we're going to go onto your private property

00:48:49.480 and damage your excavators.

00:48:51.540 It's unbelievable.

00:48:53.300 It's shocking.

00:48:54.740 Why don't we roll that clip?

00:48:55.880 Because it's crazy.

00:48:56.800 Sid did some great journalism here.

00:48:58.920 Yeah.

00:49:00.020 With permission from the owner to park it here.

00:49:03.960 RCMP, they had it parked in view of the, within view of the highway.

00:49:08.580 RCMP requested that it be moved out of view of the highway.

00:49:12.420 So we've obliged them.

00:49:15.560 After it was moved here, somebody sabotaged the equipment.

00:49:19.780 There's wires cut.

00:49:21.060 There's filters removed.

00:49:23.340 Spray foam put up fuel lines.

00:49:25.740 Like these things, these all three machines, they're valuable machines.

00:49:29.180 And it's going to take a lot of work to put them back into order.

00:49:33.620 Um, I can't see that, that happening.

00:49:36.980 Like there's parts missing, um, parts have to be replaced.

00:49:41.100 There's a lot of labor that's got to go into fixing these things before they, these, these

00:49:44.920 fellows can use their, their own equipment again.

00:49:47.660 Hey there.

00:49:49.020 Sid, it's, uh, George Suddenkopf calling you back.

00:49:50.800 Yep.

00:49:51.140 Thank you.

00:49:52.140 Uh, so I can confirm that we disabled three, looks like three excavators.

00:49:57.100 Yep.

00:49:58.220 Um, to prevent the equipment from being used in the illegal activity of the blockade.

00:50:02.720 Uh, was there an expectation there as to how they were going to be used?

00:50:05.800 Uh, I don't, I'm not sure.

00:50:09.140 I've got the answer for you.

00:50:10.680 I'm not sure what other questions you might have with relative to that.

00:50:13.460 I wasn't part of that, uh, that planning or the execution of that.

00:50:18.540 So I don't think I can comment any further than that.

00:50:21.180 Oh, it's all good.

00:50:21.800 Really appreciate that.

00:50:22.680 Thank you so much.

00:50:24.160 Yep.

00:50:24.580 Bye-bye.

00:50:25.500 Hi there.

00:50:26.320 Uh, hey there, Corporal.

00:50:27.840 Uh, this is, uh, Sid calling you again really quickly.

00:50:30.280 Um, if you have the time for a second.

00:50:32.600 Absolutely.

00:50:33.180 Yep.

00:50:33.340 Uh, so I just wanted to confirm, um, exactly what the damage was done by the RCMP.

00:50:41.000 The damage, the disabling?

00:50:43.040 Yeah.

00:50:43.380 Yeah.

00:50:43.580 So we, we, we can, yep.

00:50:45.440 Right.

00:50:45.820 I don't know.

00:50:46.360 I don't know what we did to disable those vehicles, Sid.

00:50:48.640 Okay.

00:50:49.020 But, okay.

00:50:49.580 Yeah.

00:50:49.760 Sorry.

00:50:50.040 I, I forgot to get that bit there, uh, last time, but you did confirm that it was you guys,

00:50:54.300 but, um, in terms of the specific damage you're unaware.

00:50:57.780 Yeah.

00:50:58.240 The specific, uh, steps that we took to disable those vehicles, I don't, I don't know.

00:51:02.000 Okay.

00:51:02.360 All right.

00:51:02.580 No, appreciate that.

00:51:03.380 Just wanted to reconfirm.

00:51:04.420 Thank you.

00:51:05.500 All right.

00:51:05.880 Take care.

00:51:06.240 Yep.

00:51:06.540 Bye-bye.

00:51:08.020 So two calls, two calls confirming from the RCMP.

00:51:11.860 And I love that, like rhetoric, that language.

00:51:14.560 Oh, disabling.

00:51:15.740 They basically sent a couple.

00:51:17.020 I can just picture these, these, I guarantee these goofball RCMP officers, excuse me, but 0.96

00:51:22.140 the people who vandalized these excavators, it's ridiculous. 0.95

00:51:25.240 I guarantee their hearts were racing and they were sneaking around like mischievous little 0.83

00:51:30.140 kids, cutting wires, filling gas lines.

00:51:33.120 Like this is like a night raid. 0.98

00:51:35.120 It's absolutely ridiculous. 0.68

00:51:37.200 And it's like the government and RCMP, RCMP is going to pay for that. 0.93

00:51:42.900 They absolutely have to.

00:51:43.980 Chad Williamson, I believe is on the case, but it's, it's absolutely absurd.

00:51:48.820 Like this is like you're involved in a protest and they come to your house and, and take

00:51:54.660 apart your whatever, because they predict that you're going to use it in relation to

00:51:58.940 the protest.

00:51:59.560 It's absolutely mind boggling.

00:52:01.700 Furthermore, as we saw there, the, the, the gentleman said that they complied and moved

00:52:06.200 it.

00:52:06.600 They were trying to be helpful and comply with the RCMP and move it.

00:52:10.160 And then the RCMP used the fact it was out of sight to vandalize it.

00:52:14.660 I agree.

00:52:15.440 I agree 100% wholeheartedly with Rachel Notley.

00:52:18.540 You're not going to hear me say that too often, but the lawlessness has to stop now.

00:52:24.320 The RCMP, if you're an, if you're the RCMP officer who did this, you immediately should

00:52:29.380 have gone to the media.

00:52:31.440 There's no excuse.

00:52:32.680 It's absolutely unacceptable.

00:52:33.760 You had to go to the media or to a commanding officer and say, this is illegal.

00:52:38.860 We cannot do this.

00:52:40.160 Um, and the fact that you didn't, you did that.

00:52:41.840 You you're absolutely going to be held accountable for vandalism.

00:52:45.280 I don't know how they thought that this was an okay thing to do.

00:52:49.720 We are, we are just sorting through the information as it comes in.

00:52:53.880 We have confirmation, obviously that the RCMP did this.

00:52:56.840 Did they go and get a, one of those ex parte warrants to do this?

00:53:02.420 If they did, they've been, that's even worse, especially when they know they've been dealing

00:53:08.760 with TV lawyer, Chad Williamson, the whole time he's been down there helping negotiate

00:53:13.920 with the police.

00:53:14.540 So they definitely know how to get ahold of them and say, Hey, we're getting a warrant

00:53:17.760 against these guys.

00:53:18.640 Do you want to, you kind of have to be involved in all of this now?

00:53:21.440 Um, so that obviously didn't happen because Chad didn't know what went on until, you know,

00:53:28.700 the farmers are telling him and the truckers are telling him this is the, what happens.

00:53:33.560 I think, and we're going to see a lot more of this when we chase all the moral objectors

00:53:39.120 out of our important institutions, when we chase them out of academia, when we chase them

00:53:44.800 out of politics, when we chase them out of policing, when we chase them out of the military

00:53:49.180 and we, we just sort of chase them out of society and unemploy them instead of in normal 0.65

00:53:54.760 times, these are the people we want in positions of management, people who are guided by a sense

00:53:59.060 of right and wrong in a strong moral compass instead, this, this, the actions of the police

00:54:04.340 and coots, this is what we have when we don't have somebody in management with the moral compass,

00:54:10.220 when we don't have somebody, when we fired all the people who said, I cannot do this thing

00:54:15.880 that you want me to do because I object to it for conscience reasons.

00:54:20.300 This is what you have.

00:54:21.720 You have automatons.

00:54:24.340 These are automatons.

00:54:25.220 Somebody gave them in the order to go vandalize somebody's property.

00:54:28.620 Not just disable it, but disable it in such a way that you can't make it usable again

00:54:34.880 without serious expensive work.

00:54:37.320 They didn't just cut the fuel lines.

00:54:39.040 They spray foamed up the fuel lines.

00:54:41.600 So you can't just reconnect them.

00:54:43.420 They've damaged this.

00:54:45.160 They could have locked the thing down, put a court order on it saying like they could

00:54:49.200 have legally, I'm sure if they went through the proper.

00:54:51.700 I mean, yeah, the courts are doing whatever they want now these days.

00:54:54.600 Anyway, they could have done this.

00:54:56.020 Yeah, they could have locked it down, issued a thing, put police tape on it, saying if

00:54:59.840 you remove this thing or move it before such and such a court date, you'll be held in contempt

00:55:05.960 of court, whatever.

00:55:06.860 But instead, they just destroyed the thing.

00:55:09.660 Well, and I know.

00:55:12.060 But there's so much more to talk about what's happening in Coots because after this, I think

00:55:16.820 the police were expecting an escalation.

00:55:19.500 Now we damaged their property.

00:55:21.720 So now they're going to want to fight us.

00:55:23.200 I think it's creating an escalation.

00:55:25.560 Exactly.

00:55:26.080 They were ramping up to an escalation so that they can come in heavy handed with a show of

00:55:30.640 force and just round everybody up and stick them in the trucker wagons or the Menzies wagons, 0.85

00:55:35.200 as we call them around here at Rebel News.

00:55:38.680 That didn't happen.

00:55:39.620 So the cops later on, they roll in, they send in the tactical team, their weapons brandished

00:55:48.440 into the truckers when the truckers are having barbecue as a show of force.

00:55:56.640 They roll into town like this.

00:55:58.580 And then later on in the night, because Sid has been working nonstop, like through the

00:56:06.260 night, if you go to Sid's Twitter feed, you'll see when he's tweeting and when he's covering

00:56:10.160 the action, excuse me, the police last night made at least one arrest.

00:56:16.800 We don't know for what yet.

00:56:18.640 There might be a second arrest.

00:56:20.140 We're just sorting through the details on that, but we don't, we have no confirmation

00:56:23.100 on it.

00:56:23.620 So we're not going to report that as gospel.

00:56:25.740 And, uh, one, uh, semi truck was seized along with another tractor was seized by the police.

00:56:33.880 So, um, they are starting to move in on coots.

00:56:38.160 Uh, I've just heard anecdotal reports that police are starting to amass in milk river.

00:56:43.340 I cannot confirm that.

00:56:44.560 I haven't laid eyes on that.

00:56:46.040 Uh, Sid's chasing down that story also.

00:56:48.920 So stay tuned to Sid Fizard's Twitter feed and rebel news.com to get the full story.

00:56:54.540 You won't see anywhere else because he's fully embedded in the convoy there.

00:56:59.240 And to the folks in milk river, I'll be back tomorrow.

00:57:01.800 So feared not.

00:57:02.540 We are, we are on the way.

00:57:03.560 I think, uh, I think we've got some folks heading out today.

00:57:05.520 So, uh, RC and B don't get any ideas.

00:57:07.740 We got cameras on.

00:57:09.020 That's right.

00:57:09.920 Yeah.

00:57:10.260 And somebody else said that also today, like the, that's the greatest weapon you have at

00:57:17.860 this point against the government is your cell phone camera.

00:57:21.820 Yeah.

00:57:22.940 Uh, if they know you're recording, they might not do what they were going to do to you.

00:57:28.360 Um, it's, but then again, they might not.

00:57:32.260 So, um, let's get to some of these chats because it's already 11 o'clock.

00:57:36.460 Can we talk about Arthur for one minute?

00:57:38.140 Yes, please.

00:57:38.880 You go.

00:57:39.540 Yes, absolutely.

00:57:40.380 So I don't want, and this is so pivotal, um, before coots, before these blockades,

00:57:45.760 before everything, pastor, Arthur Pawlowski, who, if you don't know, he's been arrested

00:57:50.720 for a fifth time.

00:57:51.860 He's been in jail for a week at the remand center, largely kept in solitary confinement.

00:57:56.980 It is a horrible, horrible thing.

00:57:58.900 Many people have been asking out there.

00:58:00.560 Um, I did do an interview with Sarah Miller Mocha last week, did an interview with the

00:58:04.500 family when I was in milk river.

00:58:05.780 Um, I do have, I was at the jail at the remand center on Saturday.

00:58:09.820 That video should be out today.

00:58:11.360 Um, but I spoke with Nathaniel, with David, with Marjana, the whole family, the folks

00:58:16.520 there, um, it's heartbreaking what is happening.

00:58:19.160 So we absolutely cannot forget about pastor Arthur Pawlowski, who very much has been fighting

00:58:24.240 the fight that these truckers are fighting, but for two years, five arrests struggling.

00:58:29.500 If you want to support pastor Arthur Pawlowski, who now we talked about the infrastructure,

00:58:34.240 critical infrastructure act, pastor Arthur is the first person ever to be charged under

00:58:38.780 that act borderline being treated like a terrorist facing serious jail time.

00:58:43.600 His bail hearing is on Wednesday.

00:58:45.260 I think, forgive me if I'm wrong.

00:58:46.880 I think Sheila's going to live tweet the bail hearing, if she can get access.

00:58:50.600 So Wednesday, stay tuned for that.

00:58:52.540 We cannot forget about pastor Arthur Pawlowski, who remains in jail and terrible conditions

00:58:57.240 from what the family's telling us.

00:58:58.600 If you want to help his legal efforts, go to save arthur.com.

00:59:02.460 Keep an eye out today.

00:59:03.240 A video will be out with the family from the Calgary remand center, and we're going to

00:59:07.420 continue to follow that story, but don't in all of this, forget about pastor Arthur Pawlowski.

00:59:11.400 Yeah.

00:59:11.640 Another high profile takedown.

00:59:14.020 Um, and his crime this, this time was offering a speech of hope to the truckers.

00:59:20.160 Yeah.

00:59:21.000 Yeah.

00:59:21.260 That they're, they're trying to say that he's an organizer and blame the whole thing on

00:59:25.020 him, this, uh, the RC, what the RCMP did does not shock me at all with these excavators

00:59:30.600 based on the way that police have treated pastor Arthur Pawlowski.

00:59:34.120 This is a man.

00:59:35.100 And we understand he understands he'll say that some people think he's brash.

00:59:39.020 Some people don't like him.

00:59:40.160 I can assure you that as part of his, uh, that's a taste issue.

00:59:43.260 That's not a law issue.

00:59:44.260 And part of his preaching persona is this loud sort of, uh, powerful Martin Luther King

00:59:49.540 style speaking in person.

00:59:51.420 He's very mellow.

00:59:52.500 Sheila knows this.

00:59:53.240 I know this sweet man.

00:59:55.080 He's funny.

00:59:55.940 He's so funny.

00:59:56.820 He's such a funny guy.

00:59:57.980 Um, and for what, everything that his family has been through, ultimately, I understand

01:00:01.720 for the court orders, there's some suggestions that he was violating the court orders.

01:00:06.340 Ultimately, I think he was adhering to his charter rights in the courts out of line, but

01:00:09.900 Sarah Miller will sort that out in court.

01:00:12.100 Um, but ultimately what he has done is preached, opened his church to everybody and fed homeless

01:00:17.560 people without compromise.

01:00:19.040 There he is down in a coots or milk river coots.

01:00:21.380 I think that's what he has done.

01:00:23.360 And that's why he's being held in jail and definitely pending a bail hearing.

01:00:27.900 He fed the homeless.

01:00:29.260 He opened his church and he attended some peaceful protests.

01:00:32.360 And that's not me spinning it.

01:00:34.380 That is what he did.

01:00:35.680 Plain and simple.

01:00:36.760 So save arthur.com keeps Sarah Miller and the team that is working on behalf of a pastor

01:00:41.460 Arthur Povlowski working.

01:00:42.720 Cause this is, this is unbelievable.

01:00:44.660 The man is suffering behind bars for opening his church and feeding the poor.

01:00:48.840 But yes, let's get to some of these chats here.

01:00:50.760 Yeah.

01:00:51.220 We engaged Chad Haggerty on that to help Sarah Miller.

01:00:55.100 Cause it's just an enormous, enormous problem.

01:00:58.280 It's my understanding that pastor art, he didn't even, he didn't go in a tractor, didn't

01:01:04.060 go in a truck.

01:01:04.820 He just went to smugglers.

01:01:06.820 That's sort of like trucker HQ down there.

01:01:08.960 It's a little pub and, uh, talk to the truckers.

01:01:12.360 Yeah.

01:01:13.100 And then left, he wasn't there for a night.

01:01:14.660 I think he was just there for a day.

01:01:16.400 Um, and they arrested him when he was leaving to go again, he was going to go down there

01:01:20.140 again.

01:01:20.400 And they arrested him, snagged him as he was going out the door.

01:01:23.100 Where's the amnesty international, by the way.

01:01:25.700 Yeah.

01:01:27.320 Where's, uh, where's some of the other religious leaders.

01:01:31.520 Oh, before we move on, we should, uh, mention Ontario's reopening.

01:01:37.400 Because apparently, uh, they're moving into the next phase of reopening on February 17th.

01:01:46.560 So, uh, with key public health and health system indicators continuing to improve, but

01:01:55.220 freedom ones continuing to decline the Ontario government in consultation with the chief

01:02:00.880 necromancer is cautiously and gradually easing public health measures sooner.

01:02:04.580 Yeah, this is all Doug Ford and definitely not, definitely, definitely not the truckers.

01:02:10.100 No, no, um, the trucker phase of reopening.

01:02:13.340 Yeah.

01:02:13.800 With measures being eased on February 17th.

01:02:18.280 So what are the easing?

01:02:20.760 They're increasing social gathering limits to 50 people indoors and a hundred people outdoors

01:02:25.340 increased organized public event limits to 50 people indoors with no limit outdoors,

01:02:30.320 removing capacity limits for the following indoor public settings for proof of vaccination

01:02:34.540 is required, but not limited to restaurants, bars, um, movie theaters, event spaces, casinos,

01:02:41.120 bingo halls, but they're keeping the VAX pass.

01:02:43.940 That sounds like to me. 0.74

01:02:46.080 Um, can we just read the line about bath houses and sex clubs? 0.95

01:02:49.440 What on earth? 0.86

01:02:50.420 What?

01:02:51.000 How did I just blabity blah, right over bath houses and restaurants for the. 0.62

01:02:54.440 I don't see it, Adam.

01:03:00.500 Okay.

01:03:00.980 Um, sorry.

01:03:01.560 Yeah.

01:03:01.680 Are you facing, uh, uh, indoor capacity limits to 25% at the remaining higher risk settings?

01:03:09.660 Okay.

01:03:10.200 So you.

01:03:14.160 These places were open to prevent.

01:03:16.280 Don't don't worry.

01:03:17.560 They're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're, they're increasing the capacity at

01:03:20.820 bath houses and sex clubs, guys, in case you're worried about why doesn't the RCMP raid

01:03:26.240 those places. 0.95

01:03:27.740 You're too busy raiding churches. 0.99

01:03:29.500 They're raiding churches, but the sex clubs are open. 0.95

01:03:33.260 Um, we're in Sodom and Gomorrah, aren't we?

01:03:36.340 If I turn around, I'm going to turn to salt, but turn around and look at Toronto.

01:03:39.740 I'm just going to turn to salt.

01:03:41.020 Um, if I can find even one person, they close the gyms because of disease spread, but kept

01:03:50.060 the sex clubs open because no disease, no disease spread.

01:03:54.460 Are we in like a gonorrhea outbreak or chlamydia or something?

01:03:57.280 We're always in some kind of chlamydia outbreak in Alberta, especially around stampede time.

01:04:02.000 Keep it in your pants, people.

01:04:03.760 Anyway, this is, so they're, uh, they've opened the sex clubs up to more capacity. 0.96

01:04:08.520 That's great.

01:04:09.200 Um, allowing freedom, I guess, anyway, uh, increasing indoor capacity limits to 25% in

01:04:20.760 high risk settings.

01:04:21.580 Okay.

01:04:21.840 We went through that one, increasing capacity limits for indoor weddings, funeral, funerals,

01:04:26.660 religious services, rites, or ceremonies to the number of people who can maintain two

01:04:31.320 meters physical distance, even at weddings.

01:04:35.440 Okay.

01:04:35.960 So at a church, you need to maintain two meters distance with sex clubs have increased capacity. 0.99

01:04:43.400 So on March 1st, Ontario will lift proof of vaccination requirements for all settings

01:04:50.520 at this time.

01:04:51.140 However, businesses in other settings may choose to continue to require proof of vaccination.

01:04:58.020 So if you like discrimination, you get to keep your discrimination, I guess is how it

01:05:02.960 goes.

01:05:03.860 Masking requirements will remain in place at this time.

01:05:08.280 The worst Ontario. 0.98

01:05:10.280 You're the worst. 1.00

01:05:11.340 Yeah. 1.00

01:05:12.320 The worst.

01:05:12.940 Okay.

01:05:13.940 Now, after that disappointing news, um, but good news, if you are a swinger, uh, let's 1.00

01:05:19.380 go into the chats.

01:05:21.640 Don't send me messages.

01:05:23.100 Swingers.

01:05:23.660 Just live your life.

01:05:24.900 This is live your life.

01:05:26.240 Swingers.

01:05:26.720 I don't care.

01:05:27.220 Uh, David also, you swingers don't seem like people who obey the government's rules anyways. 0.97

01:05:33.660 So I bet you, you weren't operating at whatever it was 10% or whatever swingers were doing

01:05:38.060 later on at their sex clubs.

01:05:39.500 I don't know.

01:05:40.020 I got to stop talking about this.

01:05:41.380 Let's just take some jazz.

01:05:42.780 I'm breaking into cold sweats.

01:05:46.660 Heebie jeebies.

01:05:47.380 Okay.

01:05:47.560 David bird 14 gives us 20 bucks.

01:05:51.760 Please say no to Trudeau.

01:05:53.160 The army say no to Trudeau family.

01:05:54.980 Say no to Trudeau.

01:05:56.340 So this is what's next.

01:05:58.000 Emergency act.

01:05:58.820 Trudeau wants us to fight each other.

01:06:00.340 Don't fall for it.

01:06:01.240 Hold the line.

01:06:02.780 I think that speech of hold the line is exactly what got past our art in trouble, by the way.

01:06:07.340 So David bird and expect to knock at your door is all I'm saying.

01:06:11.600 Harper will always be my PM because it's five bucks. 0.97

01:06:14.200 I'm surprised that the liberal gang does not get rid of that psycho JT. 1.00

01:06:17.140 If they ever want a hope of majority, what did Canada expect from a guy who wants to 0.93

01:06:22.900 be like G for life?

01:06:25.260 Yeah.

01:06:26.080 Harper will always be my PM five bucks. 1.00

01:06:28.000 So lunatic JT rushes to kneel with BLM as BLM cheers to attack cops, but the army that

01:06:34.080 is asking too much, he's begging to help. 0.86

01:06:36.660 He's begging to help them attack pack taxpayers that pay for his lavish lifestyle all for science.

01:06:42.540 Say, you know what?

01:06:43.280 It's funny because cops, we talked about this in the meeting, but we never really got around

01:06:47.020 to it.

01:06:47.320 Cops that are not being complete authoritarian thugs towards the protesters in Ottawa.

01:06:53.580 Yeah.

01:06:54.620 People want them investigated when they're just like saying to the protesters, like, Hey,

01:06:59.500 good work for staying peaceful.

01:07:01.720 Yeah.

01:07:03.060 The other side wants those cops investigated, but they're perfectly fine when cops kneeled with

01:07:07.320 BLM. 0.71

01:07:08.160 Some, some like lunatic lady on Twitter was like blocking a car because he had a flag. 1.00

01:07:13.520 And to anyone saying it was just a disjointed woman. 1.00

01:07:16.880 Um, he wasn't even in a convoy.

01:07:18.440 She had a demon that lady had a demon. 1.00

01:07:20.520 Yeah.

01:07:20.720 And then, so people blue check marks on Twitter are saying normal citizens are blocking convoys

01:07:26.880 while police are directing them where to go.

01:07:28.860 So the police are saying, if you want to peacefully protest, here's the route to follow.

01:07:33.500 And the truckers and the convoy are, are respectfully doing that.

01:07:37.220 And blue check marks are saying that, that the police have lost the plot. 0.95

01:07:41.960 And this crazy lady, presumably mentally ill lady, whatever she is, is, is the good guy. 0.99

01:07:48.240 And she's the model we need to follow. 0.99

01:07:50.280 Oh, she probably went home and completely yelled at her cats. 1.00

01:07:53.080 I feel bad for her cats.

01:07:54.360 Uh, CP 70 is this 20 bucks.

01:07:58.660 Thanks so much.

01:07:59.900 I'm so glad I found rebel news.

01:08:01.160 You guys are awesome.

01:08:01.900 How did we get to this?

01:08:03.220 Canadians and Americans have been asleep at the wheel for far too long.

01:08:06.020 The great awakening has begun.

01:08:07.740 Oh, I hope so.

01:08:09.260 Harper will always, sorry, go ahead.

01:08:11.200 Trudeau's a gift in that way.

01:08:13.060 He's so terrible, but no one could have unified and activated Canadians.

01:08:17.320 I think we would have apathetically slipped into nothingness and lost our nation.

01:08:22.080 Um, the way we're headed. 0.98

01:08:24.220 I think we're going to look back at Justin Trudeau as that clown that was put in place 0.97

01:08:27.900 by the truckers and Canadians reawoken. 0.91

01:08:29.920 You look at Poland and some of these other countries who have reclaimed their identity.

01:08:33.400 I think this might be that moment for Canada.

01:08:36.400 Yeah, I think so too.

01:08:37.940 You even just look at how there's so much camaraderie right now.

01:08:41.200 Between Quebecers and Albertans, um, because we're uniting on this one issue.

01:08:46.660 Um, you know, uh, Harper extinguished separatist movements all across the country through his

01:08:53.840 election.

01:08:55.060 Um, and Justin Trudeau has further united the country through his own ineptitude.

01:09:00.020 Yeah.

01:09:01.540 Thanks, Justin.

01:09:02.320 That's what I'm saying.

01:09:03.060 Thanks, buddy.

01:09:03.880 Uh, Harper will always be my PM, uh, gives us five bucks. 1.00

01:09:07.720 If BLM or Antifa was to block Ottawa again, or railways, lunatic JT would be running there 0.74

01:09:12.580 to take pictures for his IG kneeling.

01:09:14.640 Wonder how long G Trudy will hang out living off taxpayers. 1.00

01:09:19.660 Um, Trudeau, by the way, I don't know if anybody remembers the, I don't know more protests,

01:09:24.580 but underlying to all of that and sort of like hanging on to that, like a parasite was

01:09:30.220 chief Teresa Spence of Attawapiskat and her boyfriend, I'm not really quite sure the legal

01:09:37.160 disposition of the case against him, but he was, uh, charged with fraud for misappropriation

01:09:43.000 of band funds while she's rolling around in an escalate and everybody in the band there

01:09:47.480 had no running water and the houses were falling apart.

01:09:50.140 And so Harper said, we've got to audit this band where the heck is all the money going?

01:09:55.400 And she said, Oh, you're not auditing me.

01:09:58.080 And she went on a hunger strike, uh, in Ottawa burgers a few times, but yes.

01:10:04.700 Oh, and she was, she was in a hunger strike in a teepee, but she was sleeping in like a

01:10:09.560 five-star hotel up the road.

01:10:10.980 And, uh, normally when people go on hunger strikes, they at least suffer hunger, but she

01:10:16.940 didn't look like she missed too many meals and Justin Trudeau was in there like so fast.

01:10:23.240 She could hardly hide her, the big Mac under the blanket in the teepee, uh, to take a picture

01:10:28.000 with her about how he was standing in solidarity with this everyday Canadian against the overreach

01:10:33.240 of the government, who the government was only asking for accountability on behalf of the

01:10:37.540 citizens of Apple at a Wapiskat. 0.89

01:10:39.280 Uh, he was there, he was there, you know, to visit with this lady occupier.

01:10:45.080 Um, but a hundred thousand people on your doorstep.

01:10:48.140 He doesn't have time for them.

01:10:49.500 Yeah.

01:10:51.680 Sharon 11 gives us 10 bucks.

01:10:53.740 Great work.

01:10:54.100 You guys, God bless your courageous coverage.

01:10:55.860 Well, thanks so much.

01:10:56.740 You know, Sid and Lincoln and Alexa and David and everybody who was out over the weekend,

01:11:02.040 just great work.

01:11:03.140 Everybody's just working around the clock.

01:11:05.440 Sorry.

01:11:05.860 I'm sniffing.

01:11:06.340 Uh, Paul Otto Newman, five bucks.

01:11:09.120 If PM Castro sends the army on unarmed protesters, I can't see Canada staying united doing so

01:11:16.380 will cause irreparable harm East versus West times a thousand separatism will rise exponentially

01:11:21.600 in the West and in Quebec.

01:11:23.760 I would just be happy if we could separate from Toronto and Ottawa at this point, I'll keep

01:11:28.440 everybody else just district nine, those people it's fine.

01:11:32.040 Just build a fence, leave them in there.

01:11:34.660 That's how they want to live.

01:11:35.640 It's fine.

01:11:36.340 But just leave us alone.

01:11:38.860 I are talking in our ear.

01:11:42.060 AD, I said, Adam and I would be taking refugees.

01:11:45.180 Okay.

01:11:45.420 If you need a place to bug out, you can come here.

01:11:47.420 You can sleep on my fifth wheel.

01:11:48.800 Okay.

01:11:49.720 Uh, Harper will always be my PM gives us two bucks. 1.00

01:11:53.600 Lunatic JT cannot lift mandates.

01:11:55.560 If they continue making him millions in backroom deals with the lobbying and donations.

01:12:00.660 I said in 2015, when pot lovers cheered that thing in Ottawa, psycho only cares about two

01:12:06.980 things himself and how much money he can make.

01:12:09.940 I guess you mean Harper will always be my PM gives us a buck. 1.00

01:12:13.400 I bet money the guy holding the communist flag never lived in it.

01:12:16.300 Of course he didn't.

01:12:17.220 We run into people all the time from Eastern Europe at the freedom protests saying, listen

01:12:24.060 to us.

01:12:24.800 Yeah.

01:12:25.300 We say, listen to us.

01:12:26.380 Canadians.

01:12:27.640 Don't look at pastor art.

01:12:29.120 Pastor art is a perfect example of this.

01:12:30.740 Um, and they say, you got to listen to us.

01:12:33.120 We see what's happening here.

01:12:34.400 Yeah.

01:12:35.000 Also Chinese Canadians in the lower mainland.

01:12:37.260 They're the loudest ones who are saying there's a genocide happening in China.

01:12:41.740 Please listen to us.

01:12:42.660 The people who started the warning call, the people who lived on the margins and other

01:12:47.020 countries and came here for freedom were the first people, people not politically active

01:12:50.980 here because they came here to get away from that.

01:12:53.060 But they were the first people to say, we've seen this before.

01:12:55.620 This is what happens.

01:12:56.500 And unfortunately not enough people listen soon enough, but they're certainly listening

01:13:00.800 now.

01:13:01.580 Yeah.

01:13:02.000 Becca Henderson gives us a buck says she saw someone holding a sign saying gas the unvaccinated

01:13:06.480 with a Nazi symbol on it.

01:13:07.660 Where's the outrage?

01:13:08.440 Who are the neo-Nazis?

01:13:10.340 Yeah.

01:13:11.220 Uh, see broad arrow five bucks when a peaceful protest is threatened with state violence by

01:13:17.060 seizing property and losing your license to earn a living.

01:13:19.260 We no longer live in a free democratic country.

01:13:21.320 I think Doug Ford this morning, he announced that, uh,

01:13:26.500 there's a potential for life, like commercial driver's licenses to be pulled from people

01:13:31.500 who are participating in the protests in the convoys.

01:13:36.060 So you're, this is blackmail.

01:13:39.480 Really?

01:13:40.000 This is the same thing people are there protesting against.

01:13:42.740 They're saying, I don't want to take your vaccine to do my job, or I don't want to tell

01:13:48.060 you if I took a vaccine to do my job.

01:13:50.280 And so they feel like they're being denied the ability to make a living.

01:13:53.980 And so what does Doug Ford do in response?

01:13:56.680 Okay, well, we couldn't bring you to bear there.

01:13:59.020 So let's deny you your ability to make a living over here in an attempt to control you and

01:14:04.160 to bring you into ideological conformity with the government.

01:14:09.320 Uh, King seven, seven, three, four, five bucks.

01:14:13.420 My two favorite rebels.

01:14:14.640 Well, thank you very much.

01:14:15.780 One rebel and one rebel.

01:14:17.780 Let's see what I did there, Sheila.

01:14:18.940 I did good job.

01:14:20.220 I am glad that I'm not being bombarded with douche as Andrew is not there.

01:14:25.960 You know what?

01:14:26.480 There's a rebel for everybody.

01:14:28.100 You know, I'm not to everybody.

01:14:30.060 He's so nice and I'm not to everybody's tastes.

01:14:32.400 Some people find me, um, terse and shrill and I accept that criticism.

01:14:39.180 So, um, yeah, there's a rebel for everybody here at the network.

01:14:42.940 C one CIS five bucks.

01:14:44.720 I wonder when Trudeau, Kenny Ford, Mo and Legault will start wearing military uniforms

01:14:48.600 to the legislature and parliament.

01:14:52.120 Kenny should grow a tiny little mustache under his nose.

01:14:54.400 It's so becoming, you know, it's anyway, Harper will always be my PM a buck.

01:15:00.160 I would love to know if that socialist Ford actually shares deco's millions with Renata 0.94

01:15:05.340 and Rob's kids.

01:15:06.480 I personally highly doubt as he shares old Rob's house was sold.

01:15:11.500 I don't know.

01:15:12.840 I don't know.

01:15:13.280 I just know that, uh, his business was essential, but so many other people's weren't

01:15:18.360 bill CF seven, a buck.

01:15:20.680 Sheila, did you see the video of the mainstream media laughing at who will be the next flag

01:15:23.880 waiver to be flattened by police?

01:15:27.420 I sent you a video yesterday.

01:15:28.620 Thanks for a while.

01:15:29.260 I don't always see everything that gets sent to me because, um, it's a lot, it's a lot,

01:15:33.820 but I will take a look.

01:15:34.700 Harper will always be my PM gives us a buck. 1.00

01:15:36.760 If only those lazy OPP clowns did actual police work, they could actually catch criminals or 0.73

01:15:42.820 rescue kids being trafficked across Ontario right now. 0.95

01:15:45.420 San Nico gives us five bucks.

01:15:49.600 The arrest, the RCMP made, wasn't even the person they were looking for.

01:15:52.980 And the RCMP admitted it on camera.

01:15:54.700 As I know the guy who was arrested, I watched the video.

01:15:58.300 Bill CF seven, a buck.

01:16:00.300 Three Canadian special forces members are being investigated for helping remove fences around

01:16:04.340 the war memorial in Ottawa.

01:16:05.680 According to CBC, I did see that, um, how, uh, take down the fences for the memorial that

01:16:12.680 is dedicated to them.

01:16:14.340 Yeah. 0.99

01:16:15.480 That's ridiculous. 0.96

01:16:16.620 Often you'll see the military standing with the people against the police. 0.88

01:16:20.100 Historically speaking, there is a precedent for that.

01:16:22.040 And we did see the veterans lining up in front of, uh, truckers and sort of taking that stand.

01:16:27.700 So, uh, hopefully there's some more of that veteran who fought for freedom.

01:16:31.420 I also saw on Facebook, there's a, a Facebook account dedicated to just outing, uh, people

01:16:38.260 with stolen valor and the left, I guess, had been sending them like a ton of pictures of

01:16:44.840 the veterans that were there saying, Oh, can you tell us if these are real veterans?

01:16:49.620 Um, like based on their medals and stuff, that's usually how they do their little forensic

01:16:53.060 examination.

01:16:53.600 Like you, how did you get that medal?

01:16:56.120 You can't have that medal and that medal.

01:16:57.960 Cause you couldn't have been in those places at that time kind of thing.

01:17:01.420 And they said, it looks to them like every single one of those, at least that were photographed

01:17:05.420 were actual veterans.

01:17:07.060 So, but I mean, I love how the left all of a sudden cares about, uh, the war memorial

01:17:15.060 when they're the ones that are like cancel remembrance day.

01:17:18.280 It's a sign of imperialism, pick a lane, just pick a lane and stay in it.

01:17:22.540 A twinks gives us 10 bucks.

01:17:28.140 So Ontario private functions will be limited to a hundred outdoors, but no limits on public

01:17:31.960 venues.

01:17:32.460 How can you say Vax passes are lifted when you still allow businesses to impose them?

01:17:36.340 And they're not lifted.

01:17:37.440 Things could change by the first Harper will always be.

01:17:40.900 My PM gives us a buck.

01:17:42.280 Calgary lazy cops should take courage.

01:17:43.980 They do not have, they do not have off car motto and stick coffee getter on it.

01:17:50.920 More fitting for them.

01:17:53.540 Take off their slogan and they should get a coffee getter tag instead.

01:17:56.800 I think.

01:17:57.200 Ah, gotcha.

01:17:58.340 Yeah.

01:18:00.260 Uh, sister to a buck.

01:18:02.340 How much money has been added to the Trudeau foundation since 2015?

01:18:05.260 That's a great question.

01:18:07.340 Twinks five.

01:18:08.180 Is there truth to the rumor that the Trudeau foundation and Trudeau himself have a financial

01:18:12.180 stake in Acuritas, the company that supplies the transport mechanism for MRNA?

01:18:17.740 I'm not sure.

01:18:19.000 Um, I'm not sure we should look into it, but I don't think that would, uh, necessarily change

01:18:25.880 anything we see happening in the world right now, whether that were true or not.

01:18:29.700 Uh, twinks a buck, both Ford and Trudeau have misused and abused the emergency measures

01:18:34.700 act.

01:18:35.180 Don't they have to get parliament to agree?

01:18:37.100 Does that not include the official opposition?

01:18:39.900 I thought it had to go to a vote, but I'm not sure.

01:18:42.920 I know that they did talk with the opposition as well as the NDP.

01:18:47.000 And I think they basically told them, I think they basically told the opposition, this is

01:18:51.160 what we're going to do.

01:18:51.940 The NDP are supporting us.

01:18:53.480 So, yeah.

01:18:54.280 And from what I've heard and this borders and rumors, but, uh, there was a, we're going

01:18:58.800 to give local authorities a certain amount of time, but this is the direction that we're

01:19:02.180 heading.

01:19:02.480 So that's the, the, the word on the street, so to speak.

01:19:06.220 All righty.

01:19:07.240 I think we are officially caught up.

01:19:10.640 We're 20 minutes.

01:19:13.280 We're 20 minutes past the hour.

01:19:14.960 And before we go, we should tell you that we, I'm just going to roll back up.

01:19:20.240 So I get everything exactly right.

01:19:23.520 Very exciting.

01:19:25.060 Yes.

01:19:25.520 So misunderstood.

01:19:27.720 Why don't you, uh, while I look for exactly what the promo should say.

01:19:31.320 So it officially launches tomorrow at seven Eastern time on rebel news plus.

01:21:42.780 Um, and I think we have a promo that will roll on the way out the door, but before we

01:21:46.320 go, um, I want to thank Adam very much for joining me as a co-host today.

01:21:50.700 I want to thank everybody in the studio in Toronto for putting this show together and all

01:21:54.160 the web team to get all the links together so that you at home know where you can watch

01:21:58.580 us.

01:21:59.000 Uh, I want to thank everybody for watching.

01:22:01.120 I want to thank everybody who pitched in to, uh, support the work that we do here, rebel

01:22:05.400 news.

01:22:05.720 That's your choice with your dollars.

01:22:08.100 Um, and as David Menzies says, stay sane.

01:22:11.100 They're home, afraid to leave their house, watching the CBC ingesting all this fear, and

01:22:17.780 then they're the one that's lying.

01:22:20.000 I told them, you are, you report fake news, and I'm so thankful that I can come, I can

01:22:23.700 bring my children so that if our pictures, there's plaster everywhere, so that people

01:22:27.880 would know this is a God-fearing family, honorable families that are coming here, supporting

01:22:33.340 this.

01:22:33.660 This is about the family unit and restoring the family unit and keeping Canadians happy.

01:22:38.120 This is beautiful.

01:22:39.220 I love that you, you feel safe coming down here.

01:22:42.020 I mean, all the flags, safest place on the planet right now.

01:22:45.900 The crime rate's gone down a fair bit, I hear.

01:22:49.080 It's imploded.

01:22:50.200 This morning, I saw tons of homeless people lining up with me, getting breakfast, free

01:22:54.600 hot meal, like the best, bacon, eggs, um, fruits, and they're just well-fed, and we're

01:23:00.460 able to be there and just love them, and this is bringing, like, life to the city.

01:23:05.420 As Canadians, what do you think about Trudeau's words that, hey, we've heard you go home?

01:23:10.420 Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, that's what I think.

01:23:12.960 Yeah.

01:23:13.420 Good luck, buddy.

01:23:14.380 Good luck.

01:23:14.980 Maybe he hasn't been paying attention, but, uh, they ought to fly him in a helicopter over

01:23:19.180 here so he can have a good long look, because, uh, nobody's going home.

01:23:23.140 I don't think he realized that every negative thing he says about us adds fuel to our fire,

01:23:29.300 to our passion, to the point where most people here, they would die for freedom, they would

01:23:33.620 die for the cause, because they see how wicked and how hateful, and there is a division of

01:23:39.020 the elite class of government people who hate just the everyday Canadian, and there is a division

01:23:45.240 there, and the people are rising up, because everything he says is turning against him and

01:23:49.800 causing the people to rise up, so, we're thankful for Justin Trudeau to promote, for us.

01:23:55.640 Ha, ha, ha, ha, we're thankful for him, ha, ha, ha, he's actually brought Canadians together

01:24:01.800 unwittingly.

01:24:02.800 Under one banner.

01:24:03.800 Yeah.

01:24:04.800 Yes.

01:24:05.800 I love your family.

01:24:06.800 Yes.

01:24:07.800 I guess you don't want the mandates put in place.

01:24:09.800 No.

01:24:10.800 For the future.

01:24:11.800 We will not abide by them, no matter how long they're here.

01:24:13.800 Uh, we simply will not comply anymore.

01:24:15.800 It's over.

01:24:16.800 It's over.

01:24:17.800 Yes.

01:24:18.800 All right, and thank you very much.

01:24:19.640 I have to be here.

01:24:21.300 I ask you very much.

01:24:22.720 Thank you.

01:24:23.220 Thank you.

01:24:23.640 We're invited.

01:24:24.220 I like youist.
