EZRA LEVANT | Airports set up separate lines for vaccinated and unvaccinated people. How do you feel about that?

Summary

Two different lines, two different lanes, one for vaccinated and unvaccinated people. That's what Canadian airports have become like in the apartheid era. And if you don't like this comparison, you better listen to my monologue about it.

00:00:00.000 Hello, my rebels. Today, I talk about the short-lived apartheid, I don't know if I should
00:00:06.360 use that word. That means apartness in Afrikaans. Two different lines, two different lanes,
00:00:12.040 one for the vaxxed, one for the unvaxxed that popped up in Canadian airports. I wonder if
00:00:16.800 they'd have vaxxed and unvaxxed water fountains, too, like they used to have in the segregated
00:00:21.640 South. You don't like this comparison? Well, you better listen to my monologue. I'll tell you more
00:00:26.060 about it. That's next, but first, let me invite you to get the video version of this podcast.

00:00:56.060 Tonight, Canadian airports set up different lines for vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
00:01:09.520 How do you feel about that? It's July 27, and this is the Ezra Levant Show.
00:01:13.980 Why should others go to jail when you're a biggest carbon consumer I know?
00:01:19.920 There's 8,500 customers here, and you won't give them an answer.
00:01:23.980 The only thing I have to say to the government, the wire publishing, is because it's my bloody
00:01:28.860 right to do so.
00:01:34.620 I first saw a picture of this at Vancouver's International Airport. Giant signs with two lines,
00:01:41.020 one for vaccinated people, one for unvaccinated people. I almost couldn't believe it, but I know
00:01:46.820 the signage at Vancouver's airport. I've been there enough, and that looked really real, and I saw it
00:01:52.960 actually from a reputable news source soon, too. At first, I couldn't believe it because this went
00:01:58.820 up with no notice, no warning, no public discussion, obviously no debate in the legislature, no vote,
00:02:04.520 no nothing like that. True story. I sent that image to one of our civil liberties lawyers. I won't
00:02:10.840 say who. And I said, we should challenge this, said that. And they wrote back and said, and I'm
00:02:17.300 quoting here, I pasted this from the email, they said. They said, add to your team of lawyers and get
00:02:24.380 one in whatever country this is. Also, can you see the future in this photo? I think I can, and it's
00:02:31.380 scary. That's what my lawyer wrote back to me. I think my lawyer thought that picture was from a
00:02:37.300 foreign country because they didn't recognize that was the Vancouver airport. Many airport
00:02:41.940 signs in Vancouver are in Chinese as well as English. My lawyer thought this was someplace
00:02:46.260 in China, maybe. In other words, they thought, no way that's Canadian. Boy, I hope it doesn't happen
00:02:52.980 here. Isn't that funny? Yeah, it did happen here. It was in Vancouver first, but then it popped up in
00:03:00.840 Montreal's airport, and then at Toronto Pearson Airport, the largest airport in the country.
00:03:06.480 Just all at once. We sent our reporter, Drea Humphrey, to the Vancouver airport to check it out.
00:03:11.660 Now, she couldn't get into the part of the airport where those lines are, because if I understand
00:03:15.480 correctly, they're for international arrivals, and she was just coming in from the street in Vancouver.
00:03:20.700 But the airport spokesman did confirm to her it is real, and it was ordered up by Trudeau's
00:03:28.320 government. Take a look. I did hear back from one of the media representatives of the airport. Her name
00:03:33.500 is Megan. The first question I wanted to know was, is in fact this true? Are people being segregated
00:03:40.420 based on their vaccination status before they leave the airport? She stated that under direction of the
00:03:47.340 Government of Canada, passengers entering Canada from the U.S. or another international destination
00:03:53.000 are being split into vaccinated and non-partially vaccinated queues prior to reaching Canada
00:03:59.660 customs. These measures are in place per government policy to help streamline the border clearance
00:04:08.040 process, as there are different entry requirements of vaccinated and non-partially vaccinated travelers.
00:04:14.940 Now, just as soon as they went up, they started coming down. Before I could mobilize our civil
00:04:23.100 rights lawyers to take a run at them, they each used excuses at the airports that I simply don't
00:04:28.420 believe, that it was too inefficient. Yeah, do you believe that's the reason? Do you believe that
00:04:33.900 airports and the federal government are against doing things inefficiently? Have you ever been to an
00:04:38.600 airport? 9-11 destroyed any idea of efficient, logical air travel. I have never heard of a terrorist ever
00:04:44.540 being caught in Canada or the United States by the security theater at airports that we've had for
00:04:49.900 more than 20 years. But I know a lot of people that have been groped and billions of hours of time
00:04:54.980 have been wasted along with billions of dollars. I think inefficiency is actually the point. So they
00:05:00.740 need to hire more people, an entire government bureaucracy. Now add on top of that a layer of public
00:05:06.200 health theater. Oh, it's theater. All right. What? Did you think it was science? Let me show you a clip. It's
00:05:11.680 about two minutes long, but it's pure gold of the chief scientist on this stuff, showing you just
00:05:17.300 how sciency it all is. People should not be walking around with masks. Let me just state for the record
00:05:23.240 that masks are not theater. Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better. Masks are
00:05:29.600 protective. But it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is. There
00:05:34.880 has not been any indication that putting a mask on and wearing a mask for a considerable period of
00:05:40.660 time has any deleterious effects. There are unintended consequences. People keep fiddling
00:05:46.240 with the mask and they keep touching their face. And can you get some schmutz sort of staying inside
00:05:51.180 there? Of course. You do not need to wear a mask indoors if in fact you've been vaccinated. Good that
00:05:57.360 you're vaccinated, but in a situation where you have people indoors, particularly crowded, you should wear
00:06:02.740 a mask. So even if you are vaccinated, you should wear a mask. If in fact you are vaccinated, fully
00:06:08.920 vaccinated, you are protected and you do not need to wear a mask outdoors or indoors. When the children
00:06:14.340 go out into the community, you want them to continue to wear masks. You know, if you look at children
00:06:19.920 outside, particularly when they're with the family walking down the street, playing a game or what have
00:06:25.160 you, don't have to wear a mask. The pediatric, the Academy of Pediatric actually makes that
00:06:31.720 recommendation that children should be wearing masks from two years old onward. And you're asking
00:06:37.280 now if your child is a member of your household, can you walk outdoors with your child without a mask?
00:06:43.640 According to that chart, the answer is yes. But the child can't not to beat it, beat it to death.
00:06:48.900 Yes. Yes. Now the CDC says, I mean, I think I've got this right. One mask is better than zero masks.
00:06:56.100 Two masks is better than one mask, but you don't have to have double masks. Is that right? I mean,
00:07:01.280 you know, it became clear that cloth coverings that you didn't have to buy in a store that you
00:07:06.620 could make yourself were adequate. And then you want it to fit better. So one of the ways you could
00:07:12.100 do it if you would like to is put a cloth mask over, which actually here and here and here where you
00:07:19.660 could get leakage in is much better contained. Are you a double masker, Dr. Fauci? Look like you are.
00:07:25.660 Yeah, that ain't science, friends. And I'm not quite naive enough to think that these airport lines
00:07:30.440 were canceled because they were inefficient just hours after they were deployed. I mean,
00:07:36.340 it takes some time to figure out if something is inefficient and to tweak it. No, no, no, no.
00:07:41.700 Someone must have said, as my civil liberties lawyer suggested, that that's third world police state
00:07:49.060 stuff. That's illegal. Get those down. Think about it. You're not just treated differently,
00:07:55.220 which is a problem in itself, but you're forced to physically stand in a public line
00:07:59.840 that identifies your specific medical situation, your private information. You're not vaxxed,
00:08:06.560 but it's worse than that because you might be immune naturally, as in you got the COVID and you're
00:08:11.560 recovered. You might have a religious or other medical exemption of the vaccine, but you are forced
00:08:15.800 to stand in a line of public shame because your government is punishing you with different
00:08:21.440 treatment. And the entire airport and any passerby can look you up and down and get a good look at
00:08:27.280 you, you vexing denier. It would be like if your doctor sent you a letter to your house with the
00:08:33.060 results of a private medical exam. Oh, I don't know, say a test if you have a sexually transmitted
00:08:37.920 disease. But instead of putting that information inside the envelope, marked personal and confidential,
00:08:42.980 and so they put that information on the outside of the envelope. Your STD test is in. That'd be crazy.
00:08:49.800 I mean, even credit card companies are very low key, right? They don't even say what they are on
00:08:54.400 the outside of the envelope. They just have a generic return address on them. And that's just
00:08:58.180 dollars and cents. I mean, the government would never humiliate citizens that way by putting their
00:09:04.540 health information on the outside of an envelope so everyone could see it, including your mailman,
00:09:09.440 everyone who sees the envelope on its journey. I mean, the government would never do that, right?
00:09:16.180 Oh, that's exactly what they did do in British Columbia. They mailed out countless letters to
00:09:20.300 people trying to name and shame them into getting a vaccine by putting the fact that they're unvaxxed
00:09:25.700 on the outside of the envelope, on the outside, on purpose. That's effort and planning and expense.
00:09:30.840 It's about shaming and humiliating and marginalizing people, isn't it? Now, in the end, the airports
00:09:37.080 dropped their segregated lines, but do you doubt they'll be back? More cleverly constructed? Well,
00:09:44.540 you can bet on it. I mean, you don't think this is going to end soon, do you? Here's a reminder.
00:09:49.260 Here's Trudeau planning to have you on these experimental meds for many years to come.
00:09:53.740 While more and more Canadians are getting vaccinated right now, it's also important to plan
00:10:00.080 ahead for the future. We've reached an agreement with Pfizer for 35 million booster doses for next
00:10:07.720 year and 30 million in the year after. This deal includes options to add 30 million doses in both
00:10:15.100 2022 and 2023, and an option for 60 million doses in 2024. Pfizer has been a solid partner for Canada
00:10:25.420 in this fight against COVID-19, and we're happy to be one of the first countries to secure an agreement
00:10:31.000 with them going forward. These boosters will be the latest version of the Pfizer vaccine based on
00:10:37.260 research and testing, and they will help us keep the virus under control. And the work doesn't end
00:10:43.600 there either. We're on ongoing discussions with other vaccine manufacturers about their plans
00:10:49.040 for booster shots too. Have you ever heard anyone calling for a vaccine passport talk about an
00:10:54.180 expiration date for those vaccine passports? They don't because it's a permanent system. It'll be
00:10:59.920 about as temporary as the income tax. It'll connect your personal identity with your private health
00:11:05.640 information, with other government statuses. And of course, your phone already has so much of your
00:11:11.060 financial info, your GPS location, your photos, what you look at, who your friends are, what could go
00:11:17.940 wrong with that sort of system? Here's a premonition.
00:11:22.940 Dear passengers, people who travel without tickets or behave disorderly or small being in public areas
00:11:31.140 will be punished according to regulations, and the behavior will be recorded in the individual credit
00:11:37.440 information system. To avoid an inactive record of personal credit, please follow the relevant
00:11:44.560 regulations and help with the orders on the train and at the station.
00:11:49.560 Yeah, there's no expiration date for that. There's no end to that. Those signs at airports with
00:11:58.880 different lines, that's just some stupid bureaucrat getting ahead of himself. Because the real future
00:12:03.660 is that your very identity is already known and tracked in every way by the government
00:12:07.800 electronically. It doesn't need to tell you which physical line to get into, because your digital
00:12:14.180 permissions are already limiting. What you see, what you hear, what you say, and where you go.
00:12:22.860 Stay with us for a moment.
00:12:35.240 Welcome back. Well, I just put up a video on YouTube where I have a conversation with two of
00:12:43.140 Arthur Pawlowski's lawyers. Now, I recorded this a couple of days ago when I was in Calgary,
00:12:48.680 and I was shocked. I couldn't believe it. I actually thought it was a bit of an emergency.
00:12:53.240 I flew out there to meet them, to talk to them face to face, not just on the phone,
00:12:57.540 about an incredible development. The government of Alberta, which says the lockdowns are over,
00:13:03.620 which has already punished Arthur Pawlowski, putting him in prison for three days along with his brother.
00:13:08.520 They're going back to court to try and jail Arthur again for 21 more days. Not because he's breaking
00:13:18.340 some lockdown law. That's over. He broke the lockdown law for a grand total of one hour.
00:13:24.180 But they want him to do 21 days in prison because he won't apologize. I know you think I'm making that
00:13:31.120 up. But if you go to saveArthur.com, you can read their 21-page legal brief that says because he hasn't
00:13:37.900 apologized, he's in contempt. We need to put him in prison for 21 days to purge his contempt.
00:13:44.660 You can see that document for yourself. Here's a quick minute from that interview with the lawyers.
00:13:50.160 I am at the law firm of JSS Barristers in Calgary, where I'm meeting with two members of the four-person
00:13:56.160 legal team that we have crowdfunded to defend Arthur Pawlowski. Let me start with you, our lead lawyer, Sarah.
00:14:03.580 Sarah, you have been the lawyer for Arthur for more than a year. You have helped him.
00:14:08.860 You've won some of the battles. But we did lose one battle. I'm worried that he's going to go to prison
00:14:15.480 for 21 days. Is that a real possibility?
00:14:18.520 On my legal analysis, it shouldn't be. But that is what Alberta Health Services is seeking.
00:14:23.680 And it is fully within the discretion of the court to award what they've asked.
00:14:28.180 Oh, and they're actually comparing him to eco-terrorists. The cases they cite,
00:14:34.320 the precedents for jailing someone are actually people breaking into pipeline facilities and
00:14:41.680 violent acts against property, vandalism, mischief, shutting down. To compare a pastor to that,
00:14:47.860 that's what the government of Alberta is saying in this pleading.
00:14:50.140 Well, and frankly, that's the analogy they have to draw because otherwise,
00:14:55.040 if they drew reasonable analogies, they wouldn't get through the 21 days of prison.
00:14:58.800 I encourage you to watch that whole video. It's only eight minutes long. You can find it
00:15:02.880 at savearthur.com. Well, today there was a procedural hearing in that manner in Calgary.
00:15:10.800 And joining me now to talk about it is our friend Adam Sose, our Calgary reporter. Adam,
00:15:15.160 great to see you again.
00:15:16.400 Great to see you as well. Thanks for having me.
00:15:17.760 Well, I can't believe it. I mean, I can believe it, but it's, I shouldn't be able to believe it,
00:15:24.860 that they still want their pound of flesh from Arthur Pawlowski and his brother David too.
00:15:29.340 They want to put Arthur back in prison for 21 days and his brother David for 10 days
00:15:33.380 because they won't say sorry. That's really, that's, I've read the 21 pages. That's what they're saying.
00:15:38.580 Yeah, it's, they're clearly making a point. They've set Pastor Arthur Pawlowski as the legal precedent for
00:15:46.640 what's going to happen to pastors who dare step out of line. Even though Justice Adam Germain has
00:15:54.060 effectively ruled entirely in favor so far for AHS, even he at one point said, and he almost caught
00:16:01.580 himself tripping up, but he said, so you want me to take a pastor and put him into a jail or a prison
00:16:09.280 that has significant COVID outbreaks for the sake of his safety, for the sake of public safety.
00:16:16.220 It simply doesn't make any sense. Today, it was originally one of the dates that was set for discussion
00:16:21.980 and proceedings more formally. But Sarah Miller of JSS Barristers, who is, of course, is being provided
00:16:28.680 at no cost to the Pawlowski's through our Fight the Fines initiative or at savearcher.com.
00:16:34.300 She has actually asked for this to be adjourned, and it was until September 13th and 14th.
00:16:40.480 They will deal with it at that time because AHS is continuing to bring evidence against Pastor Arthur
00:16:47.100 Pawlowski. Even after a guilty verdict, they are just absolutely piling on. It's madness,
00:16:54.480 quite frankly. Sarah Miller in court today said, at some point, the evidence should be the evidence.
00:17:00.180 So she's like, you can't expect me to proceed with this when they're continually applying evidence.
00:17:05.760 I need an opportunity to cross-examine this. Yeah. I read the 21 pages, and I mean, I'm a former
00:17:12.660 lawyer myself, so I understand certain phrases and whatnot, but I believe that the document can be
00:17:18.140 read fruitfully by non-lawyers. And I really recommend people go to savearcher.com and read
00:17:24.300 it. It's 21 pages. It is written by the two Alberta Health prosecutors. You said AHS,
00:17:30.380 the Centers for Alberta Health Service. These two prosecutors are like, you know, they are like
00:17:39.640 bloodhounds. They are obsessed. They're like the Terminator in that old Schwarzenegger movie.
00:17:45.940 Apparently you can't negotiate with them. You can't bargain with them. You can't stop them.
00:17:50.140 They want him in prison. I can only, I know how much we're crowdfunding to pay the four-person
00:17:57.800 legal team. There's Sarah Miller. There's Chad Haggerty. There's a senior lawyer, and there's a junior
00:18:05.040 lawyer also for JSS barristers, four lawyers, and we need it because the entire resources of the Alberta
00:18:13.360 Health Ministry and the Justice Department are prosecuting this one Christian man, or two, his brother
00:18:20.400 also. I'm rambling a bit, but Adam, in the 21-page filing by the prosecutors, they themselves saying
00:18:31.100 jailing someone for contempt of court should never appear to be bullying or revenge. Well, I mean,
00:18:40.900 talk about projection. That's all this is. He's already done three days in prison. The lockdown is
00:18:46.920 over. For them to spend hundreds of thousands, maybe millions by now, when you include police costs,
00:18:54.140 millions of dollars to get this guy in prison, or say he renounces everything he believes in.
00:19:00.000 This is the most grave civil liberties problem in Canada today. That's my view.
00:19:06.800 I could not agree more. We've heard time and time again from the very top,
00:19:11.600 the politicians saying, well, we don't get involved. That's a legal matter. Well, AHS,
00:19:15.900 Alberta Health Services, is a functionally an agency of the government. So the government is involved.
00:19:21.160 We've also seen, and it's as plain as day, factually, we drove around during this COVID crisis,
00:19:27.740 right when Pastor Arthur Pawlowski was being arrested. And we could go to any number of
00:19:32.080 religious institutions, and their parking lots were absolutely packed. There's no one going after
00:19:37.620 them. They are categorically and exclusively going after this. And I think at this point,
00:19:43.240 Tyler Shandro denies that he targeted any specific individuals. He said that when I asked him that
00:19:48.000 question. At that point, I think the government is responsible to find out who is targeting people,
00:19:53.080 because if any other religious group was being targeted to this extent, while everyone else was
00:19:58.600 exempt, there would be general public outcry. It reeks of maliciousness on all levels.
00:20:04.740 Yeah. I mean, listen, I don't mean to be mean, but Tyler Shandro, the health minister of Alberta,
00:20:08.500 isn't just a liar, as many politicians are. He's a cheater. He cheats his own rules. He was caught
00:20:13.220 red-handed at the Sky Palace patio loft overlooking the city, having a liquor party when parties like that
00:20:21.520 were banned by him. He was having a party while parties were banned. By the way, churches were
00:20:30.580 locked down in Alberta. Walmarts, Costco's, liquor store, marijuana stores, they were all fined by
00:20:36.380 Tyler Shandro. But they threw so many cops at this pastor, Arthur Pawlowski. What gets me is,
00:20:45.760 oh, best summer ever. The lockdown's over. Everything's back to normal. Except we want to
00:20:52.500 throw the pastor in prison for another 21 days. Why? Did he open his church up again? That's legal.
00:20:57.920 No, because he won't say sorry. I know people are saying, no, that can't be. You can't go to prison
00:21:05.040 because you don't say sorry. Read the 21-page court pleading at savearthur.com. They repeatedly say
00:21:12.440 he refuses to apologize. He must apologize, or he has to put in prison to purge his contempt.
00:21:21.540 So it's not that he's committed another crime. He just won't renounce his faith.
00:21:25.440 You know, I can't even believe it. I wish we had 2010 Jason Kenney here to talk to 2021 Jason Kenney
00:21:36.580 about religious liberty. And that's exactly it. He was the greatest advocate. He criticized China.
00:21:44.420 He fought for freedoms. He was one of the heroes. And that's why Christian Albertans voted for him,
00:21:50.100 primarily because they thought he was a man of principle. And they thought that he would actually
00:21:54.840 have their back. That's what they voted for. That's what they thought they were buying.
00:21:59.420 And that's what this government has the authority to enact. The question I get over and over and over
00:22:05.320 is what happened to Jason Kenney? I don't have a good answer for that. It absolutely just confounds
00:22:11.520 everyone who voted for the man. There's no justification for this targeted discrimination.
00:22:17.260 And the degree of probable deniability that there is, like Pastor James Coates, we saw he had a couple
00:22:24.260 encounters during the beginning of COVID, but he finally gave a sermon criticizing government
00:22:29.960 overreach. And lo and behold, the government closed in. Pastor Artur Pawlowski has the audacity to speak
00:22:36.100 out against government overreach. The second anyone dares look back with any sort of question and not
00:22:43.140 bow, they are targeted. And that is political oppression by definition.
00:22:48.440 You know, I want to close with one more excerpt from this 21-page document because I really want
00:22:53.940 people to read it for themselves and not take my word for it. The concept of an illegal gathering,
00:23:00.080 that's the phrase. You might recall that's what Arthur was charged with a year and a half ago when he
00:23:05.200 was handing out food to the homeless. Illegal gathering. He had a four-figure fine. Police physically
00:23:10.720 pushed him around. That charge was dropped. Illegal gathering. Remember that term.
00:23:14.980 So he's charged again now with an illegal gathering and contempt of court for having an illegal
00:23:21.540 gathering. In this 21-page pleading, the prosecutor says, you know who else had illegal gatherings and
00:23:29.940 had to go to prison? Eco-terrorists. And so they go on and on and on about this terrorist got that.
00:23:36.840 And this eco-terrorist, by eco-terrorist, I mean like a radical environmental protester that breaks into
00:23:42.620 like a forestry or a logging or an oil and gas or a pipeline facility, vandalizes, smashes things up,
00:23:50.720 stops work, you know, kills jobs. They say that's an illegal gathering. And Arthur had an illegal
00:23:58.860 gathering in his church. So he should get the same punishment. It's that illegal. They're stretching
00:24:04.520 the word illegal gathering so much that it encompasses Arthur feeding the homeless, Arthur having a church,
00:24:12.120 and eco-terrorists. I swear to God, you probably think I'm exaggerating. I promise you it is in the
00:24:17.880 21-page court pleading. That is your government of Alberta. That's not some rogue lawyer. That is the
00:24:25.480 lawyer working for Tyler Shandra, working for Casey Madhu, working for Jason Kenney, who wants to put
00:24:32.180 Arthur in prison for 21 days. Why? They say it because he will not apologize to them. That's a fact.
00:24:41.540 And that's exactly it. We, on the term of illegal gathering, we literally saw an illegal gathering,
00:24:47.600 a large pro-Palestine protest take place. Two days later, Dina Hinshaw on May 27th releases a document
00:24:54.720 allowing for an exemption for certain types of illegal gatherings. So it wasn't even that illegal
00:24:59.460 gatherings were wrong. It's that Christian illegal gatherings particularly was wrong because they're
00:25:04.280 willing to amend and amend and amend. They just had their people in mind that they wanted to make
00:25:09.480 an example of. Plain and simple, I don't think that you can get around that at this point. The
00:25:14.720 question is when and who will be held to account for that? Yeah. Well, I'm really pleased with Sarah
00:25:20.580 Miller's work and the fact that she got an adjournment today so she can cross-examine
00:25:24.500 the government. Very important. Normally, I mean, that's very expensive. Normally, if the government
00:25:30.920 files an affidavit against you, you don't have the money to cross-examine every single person
00:25:36.140 who's referenced in there. I met with Sarah and Chad Haggerty and I said, this is literally what I
00:25:42.000 told them. I said, Meng Wanzhou, the Huawei CFO, the founder's daughter who's in jail in Vancouver.
00:25:52.960 I said, imagine you're her client. You would hire the best lawyers, leave no stone unturned. You would
00:25:59.260 literally do anything and everything, fight every single thing because maybe you can find this or that.
00:26:05.380 I said, that's how meticulous I want you to be fighting for Arthur. So if you say, well, do I need
00:26:12.480 to cross-examine that cop? Do I need to? Yes. So I have told her and Chad, and they would have had this
00:26:20.460 vigor anyways, but I said, you must fight as hard as humanly possible to stop this from happening.
00:26:27.840 And I said, I promise in return to crowdfunded. And we are at saveArthur.com. And boy, I hope it
00:26:35.340 works. Anyways, Adam, thanks for the update. If I could say one last thing, I can't emphasize to
00:26:41.120 people enough that this does set the precedent for what will happen to Christians and people in this
00:26:47.600 country who dare stand up. So please, if you haven't had a chance yet, go to saveArthur.com. $50,
00:26:53.800 $100, $100, 100% of that is just going to help Arthur in his legal battle. It doesn't come to
00:26:59.100 Rebel News. It's absolutely vital that you do that for the fight for freedom.
00:27:03.480 Yeah, that's all handled by the Democracy Fund. So none of that money comes to Rebel News.
00:27:07.120 Well, Adam, thanks so much for your reporting. Keep in touch with Arthur and his brother,
00:27:10.960 David, who would go back to prison for 10 days, too, if the government got their way.
00:27:14.780 We'll keep up this fight because no one else seems to be. So thanks for your work.
00:27:18.920 Thanks so very much. Really appreciate it.
00:27:20.120 There you have it. Adam Sose in Calgary. Stay with us. Your letters to me next.
00:27:36.000 Hey, welcome back on my show. Last night, Rob writes,
00:27:38.900 the girl taking pictures of the notes has to be banned from any party indefinitely.
00:27:43.100 Hey, let me ask you a question. If Aaron O'Toole's staff were to have grabbed a CBC
00:27:48.980 reported its notebook and taken photos of it, do you think there'd be a bit of a fuss?
00:27:55.060 Or if the Liberal Party took notes of ours, wouldn't we be making a fuss?
00:28:01.260 That's unacceptable behavior by Aaron O'Toole's conservatives.
00:28:05.160 T.D. writes,
00:28:05.980 So the lady who threw water on him, is that not a salt?
00:28:09.180 Well, I think it's a salt. I mean, it's a salt.
00:28:12.360 The battery might even be aggravated assault.
00:28:14.160 I'm not going to say a salt with a weapon, but we think that's water.
00:28:18.680 In the U.K., they throw acid at people.
00:28:20.920 And I remember about five years ago, one of our reporters in Vancouver
00:28:23.940 had someone throw a bottle of urine at her.
00:28:26.600 I know that's super gross. That's how antifibor rolls.
00:28:29.780 Gigi writes,
00:28:30.780 O'Toole can't cut it.
00:28:32.160 I have zero faith in all political figures.
00:28:35.300 Hey, if you have zero faith in all political figures,
00:28:38.200 that's depressing in a way.
00:28:40.400 But in another way, it's great because you can only have your expectations exceeded.
00:28:46.100 If you go in as pessimistic as you are, that means at worst, you'll be right.
00:28:51.260 But at best, you'll be impressed.
00:28:54.280 I think it's sad, but that's the state of things.
00:28:57.560 And I just don't know if Aaron O'Toole is going to be any better than Justin Trudeau
00:29:02.480 when it comes to press freedom, certainly with regards to the Rebel News.
00:29:06.180 Well, that's our stories for today until tomorrow.
00:29:08.360 On behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters, to you at home,
00:29:11.380 good night, and keep fighting for freedom.
00:29:13.460 Good night.
00:29:14.080 Good night.
00:29:14.460 Good night.
00:29:15.460 Thank you.
