00:00:00.100 Hello, my friends, a crazy new pamphlet out of the United Kingdom.
00:00:05.440 It is for new migrants, and it tells them you're not allowed to rape anyone in the UK,
00:00:12.040 and you're certainly not allowed to rape children.
00:00:15.980 What kind of a place needs to have a brochure telling newcomers not to rape?
00:00:21.980 Well, the kind of place that let them in, I guess.
00:00:24.440 I'll take you through it page by page.
00:00:26.340 But first, let me invite you to become a subscriber to Rebel News Plus.
00:00:29.240 That's the video version of this podcast.
00:00:31.800 I want you to see this brochure with your own eyes.
00:00:33.920 You might not believe me otherwise.
00:00:35.640 So get the video version.
00:00:36.800 Go to rebelnewsplus.com.
00:00:39.140 It's $8 a month, which might not sound like a lot to you,
00:00:41.840 but that means a lot to us.
00:00:43.620 It really adds up for us, and we take no money from the government.
00:00:47.040 So I'd be grateful if you could help us.
00:00:54.040 You're listening to a Rebel News Podcast.
00:00:59.240 tonight will a new uk government brochure convince migrants to stop committing rape
00:01:12.060 it's august 20th and this is the ezra levant show
00:01:14.940 shame on you you censorious bug
00:01:29.240 Well, it's hard to count and it's hard to know, but there's an estimate that there have now been
00:01:35.860 15 rapes in this small Spanish enclave of Ceuta by the 50,000 or so Moroccan migrants who stormed
00:01:45.820 into it. Now, about 10,000 have not gone home. 15 rapes in what, two weeks by 10,000 people?
00:01:53.520 That's a staggering number. It's boys being raped, too, not just women and girls.
00:02:01.000 So the Spanish government has made a very curious decision because there are a small number of migrant girls amongst the 10,000.
00:02:11.900 In fact, it's about 5%.
00:02:14.320 And the Spanish government has decided to move 500 migrant girls and women out of Saouda because of the rape threat.
00:02:26.980 And they're moving them to Spain, not back to Morocco.
00:02:30.960 They're taking 500 migrant girls who are at extreme risk of being raped.
00:02:36.920 well what does that imply about the men the 95 percent of men who came over and who are still
00:02:43.980 there why are spanish women not being evacuated or more to the point why aren't the moroccan men
00:02:53.680 being evacuated they are obviously deemed to be a threat by the spanish government
00:02:59.260 it's not just moroccans of course it's people from any part of africa who realized this was
00:03:04.860 their easiest way in. So the Spanish women from Ceuta are not being withdrawn or taken out to
00:03:14.180 safety. The rapists are not being held to account, just the migrant girls. Some of the locals
00:03:21.600 share the goal of protecting the migrant girls and they set up citizen patrols. They built
00:03:27.680 guarded camps in their own community and actually are so shocked by the conduct of the migrants,
00:03:34.680 They've taken in migrant women into their homes.
00:03:38.640 And really, in my mind, when I think of refugees, I think of women and children, don't you?
00:03:43.420 I don't think of 25-year-old healthy military-age men.
00:03:48.880 So I can understand and I can see why local citizens would take in these girls to stop them from being raped on their own streets, as one of them said, to stop Saouda from becoming a brothel.
00:04:03.680 By the way, this isn't the only place where this happens.
00:04:06.220 I've seen estimates when Joe Biden had the southern border open to Mexico that half or more of the women and girls being smuggled in to the United States by what they called the coyotes, they were raped along the journey too.
00:04:23.080 The people who are coming into Europe and into North America aren't just different financially.
00:04:28.760 They're not just out for economic opportunities.
00:04:31.280 they have completely different views on how to treat women and if rape is even a crime.
00:04:40.200 It's very easy to find migrants saying this about themselves, which shows an audacity that comes
00:04:47.180 from knowing it's not going to stop these gullible Western nations from bringing them in. Here's a
00:04:52.360 very recent clip. Patrick Christie's put this online. By the way, he's a journalist at GB News
00:04:57.460 who has been threatened for his reports over migrants um here he is showing a clip from a
00:05:04.180 british mp talking to migrants uh who said his only interest is to f-u-c-k british girls and
00:05:12.740 by girls i mean girls take a look are you coming to england yeah i i need it nearly i need it
00:05:19.360 i need to you need to be you need to be in the uk yeah i only interest the fuck are you gonna
00:05:26.500 to come and enrich our country by the sounds of it. They're from Somalia. Is that sign language
00:05:33.380 in Somalia? And you're coming to England, yeah? I need it. Nearly? I need it. You need to be in the
00:05:42.340 UK. Yeah. You want to tell your story about why you're here. But, you know, I'm going to Scotland.
00:05:47.960 You're going to Scotland? Yeah. Okay. Why Scotland? Yeah, I like it. You like Scotland?
00:05:52.820 Here's another famous journalist in the UK
00:05:55.860 asking an illegal migrant,
00:05:58.120 are there any downsides to being a rapist?
00:06:01.920 Is there any consequences to your raping?
00:06:06.100 Take a listen. I'm going to play this clip.
00:06:08.240 Some of them, they're not screaming.
00:06:09.780 It's like they wanted to be raped, you see.
00:06:12.900 She also grabs you. She's no more crying.
00:06:15.080 It's like she's enjoying it, you know,
00:06:16.580 even though she isn't, but it's like she's enjoying it.
00:06:20.480 Do you think it's right? Do you think it's right to rape?
00:06:22.820 Yeah, it's wrong. Yeah, it's wrong.
00:06:25.360 What about the consequences of what you're doing
00:06:27.360 in terms of how that affects the person that's raped?
00:06:30.360 Yeah, the consequences, we look at that all the time,
00:06:33.100 you know, because it happens, she might scream, you know?
00:06:36.000 People might wake up. A lot of people.
00:06:38.840 I'm not just talking about it, I'm talking about the emotional effect,
00:06:41.940 the physical effect it has on the girl.
00:06:43.340 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:06:44.840 Sometimes we know that we might rape her
00:06:48.680 and wake up tomorrow with viruses ourselves,
00:06:51.340 like, HIV, you know?
00:06:53.180 What about regretting what you've done to the girl?
00:06:56.220 I also do regret about it,
00:06:58.020 because if she fell pregnant,
00:07:00.220 what will be that baby's father?
00:07:02.480 Who will be that baby's father?
00:07:04.220 What about her personal feelings?
00:07:09.420 Yeah, it doesn't even fathom,
00:07:11.700 it doesn't even show up in this rapist's mind
00:07:14.900 that rape is wrong.
00:07:17.300 The only thing he's worried about
00:07:18.900 about is maybe he'll get an STD from the girl. And to say this publicly audaciously shows that
00:07:28.820 there is no screening at all. And they know that that will not cause any consequences.
00:07:34.080 Just a few days ago, there was a conviction in the UK of an Eritrean man raping an elderly man
00:07:42.620 outside a church. Just shocking, absolutely shocking. The migrant men, and I've seen them
00:07:50.720 with my own eyes in the UK and in Ireland, they often have nothing to do. They're not employed.
00:07:56.600 Most of them don't work. They just hang around and they do things that, while perhaps not illegal,
00:08:04.580 are terrifying and show the cultural divide. They hang out watching playgrounds. They hang out
00:08:11.180 sometimes in playgrounds they hang out near primary schools here's a very young uh i don't
00:08:17.500 think she's even a teenager i think she's 12 talking about being stalked every day outside
00:08:23.220 school by migrant men who just leer and perhaps do other things too take a listen i'm scared that
00:08:30.040 like whenever i come out of school they're going to be across the road watching everyone come out
00:08:34.500 and like I feel like one day me or other people my age are just going to be watched by these men
00:08:43.820 and that feeling gives you a sense of insecurity and you're at the age where you want that bit
00:08:49.740 of freedom to go out and enjoy yourself you can't do that no I can't I have to walk the longer way
00:08:55.560 to school now I can't walk into the town much anymore by myself I have to really go with
00:09:02.600 friends or parents, and I can't even really go to the park
00:09:08.400 unless there's my friend's parents there.
00:09:12.260 Because in the minds of the migrant men,
00:09:14.740 12-year-old girls are fair prey.
00:09:17.380 They're okay to target.
00:09:20.420 What's that?
00:09:22.040 This.
00:09:22.680 No, what's this?
00:09:24.960 Y'alls.
00:09:26.060 So you're grinning, so it is y'alls, is it?
00:09:28.800 Is that you?
00:09:29.340 Is that your penis?
00:09:30.380 You're sending to a 12-year-old?
00:09:32.600 Don't look at me with utter discourse. I didn't do this. This is your doing. Did you do that?
00:09:38.100 We have an enormous rape crisis because economics is not everything. Culture is important too.
00:09:44.940 And when you bring people over from a culture where women are disrespected, women are treated violently, women are treated as chattel, as property, women are not allowed to go out on their own, and they're certainly not safe if they would try.
00:09:59.320 And where many of these migrant men, their only understanding of Western women is what they see on internet pornography, which is if there is an uncovered Western woman, she's a porn star or a prostitute. So what's the harm in raping her?
00:10:15.900 I believe, I truly believe that that's a mindset amongst some migrant men.
00:10:21.080 They have no understanding about what sexual mores are in the United Kingdom or other places
00:10:27.200 in the West.
00:10:28.040 And I just played for you a number of clips which shows they, I think they truly believe
00:10:33.480 because of their culture they come from, that it's okay to rape.
00:10:37.720 It's actually shocking.
00:10:40.240 This is the kind of thing that you're supposed to not notice and certainly not talk about
00:10:45.880 but even the globalist open borders, United Kingdom, even they realize this is a crisis.
00:10:52.460 And so I have in my hand the most astonishing document by the UK Home Office. That's basically
00:10:58.800 the cabinet position in charge of affairs at home. And it's called Understanding Behaviors
00:11:05.620 and Expectations in the UK, A Guide for Asylum Seekers, Asylum Consequences of Behavior.
00:11:13.780 So this is a guide written in English.
00:11:19.000 I think there's other translated versions of it.
00:11:22.580 And the UK government expects migrants to somehow get this brochure, read it, and change
00:11:31.680 their entire cultural outlook on women.
00:11:35.160 And I've gone through it.
00:11:36.200 It's just astonishing.
00:11:37.200 I'll just show you a few things on page two.
00:11:39.580 They say, living in the UK, you are in the United Kingdom because you are seeking asylum.
00:11:45.540 Nah, mate, they're in the UK because they get free everything, including free women.
00:11:51.240 And I mean that literally, here's a former British politician saying maybe the government
00:11:55.580 should set up government-funded bordellos, brothels, to provide free sex to these migrants,
00:12:02.940 to basically enslave women in sex works.
00:12:06.940 I mean, it's outrageous morally, and of course, it will be a perfect fit for the migrants I've just shown you.
00:12:14.020 The obvious thing that 1,200 young men are going to need in the middle of a village like Little Piddington is a brothel.
00:12:21.260 I don't think they're going to provide that. I have a feeling that's not going to be allowed.
00:12:25.260 Let me read a little bit more. We understand that coming to a new country can be difficult,
00:12:28.880 and that laws and customs here may be different from your home country.
00:12:32.560 You don't say. In the UK, there are laws that protect everyone's safety, dignity, and rights.
00:12:38.620 It is important that you understand them because not following UK law can have serious consequences.
00:12:45.460 Do you believe that? Do you believe that the men I just showed you who were talking about their
00:12:50.700 desire to rape young girls, do you believe that they will suffer any consequences? I've seen
00:12:55.920 estimates starting at 100,000 British girls who have been raped. We know in the one town of
00:13:00.880 Rother Malone, 1,400 girls.
00:13:02.820 And when I say girls, I mean girls.
00:13:04.500 I mean children as young as 11.
00:13:06.960 There's a concept in Islam that Aisha married Mohammed when she was six, and they had sexual relations when she was nine.
00:13:14.120 And that's considered by some Islamists to be fair game for sexual activity, children as young as nine.
00:13:23.900 The UK is saying, no, that's not permitted here.
00:13:26.580 But is it really not permitted in the UK?
00:13:29.320 Are there really consequences to people who break this law?
00:13:33.180 What were the consequences to the rapists of the 100,000 girls?
00:13:37.260 Have there really been consequences?
00:13:40.620 There's a page, page three, on gender equality.
00:13:44.800 It's probably a good idea to talk to would-be migrants about gender equality and not raping people before they come to the UK.
00:13:52.140 Not once they're already in.
00:13:54.900 The brochure says that women can work and earn their own money.
00:13:59.320 Study and go to school or university. Travel freely. Choose who they marry or choose not to marry. Make their own decisions about their lives. Do you think that's true in certain parts of the UK? There's a lot of full covering, not just hijabs around the head, but the full niqab obscuring the face.
00:14:19.700 we've seen polls from france that show a majority of women who wear the niqab do so only because
00:14:26.680 they're afraid of consequences if they don't so if you are a country saying women have the right
00:14:32.960 to make decisions on their own lives and you allow the kind of religious pressure sometimes
00:14:39.720 backed up by honor killings to command women to block out their face you're not being candid with
00:14:46.840 yourself about the state of things on this page there's a box that says what is expected of you
00:14:52.300 everyone in the uk is expected to treat men and women equally even if you are a family member
00:14:57.580 like a husband father or brother you must never stop a woman from working or studying control
00:15:02.700 what a woman wears or where she goes stop a woman from seeing friends or family make decisions for
00:15:07.780 a woman without her agreement now those things there are not crimes but they're part of a culture
00:15:14.500 isn't that interesting i mean it is not against the law to stop a woman from working or studying
00:15:20.380 like what what law would that be i suppose you could say false imprisonment or if you go further
00:15:25.000 and conduct assault or something these are these speak to more family relationships
00:15:30.620 community and cultural relationships and and so my note was or what or what happens like you you
00:15:40.060 can't even stop the mass rape, and you're going to tell migrants that they can't tell women what
00:15:48.300 to wear or where they go. I just don't think this is, I think this document is written to make white
00:15:53.140 liberals feel better. I mean, the next page is about domestic abuse. Domestic abuse includes
00:15:59.800 physical violence, hitting, pushing, kicking, or any physical harm, threats, saying you will hurt
00:16:04.680 someone or making them afraid and it goes on um this shows that even the globalists the open
00:16:15.860 borders advocates within the home office they know who they're bringing in they know what
00:16:22.360 is happening because of their decisions do you think this brochure will stop anything
00:16:28.520 um sex and consent here's an important paragraph the legal age of consent in the uk is 16 this
00:16:37.160 means that anyone under the age of 16 is considered a child and cannot legally agree to have sex sex
00:16:43.320 with someone under the age of 16 is a serious crime in the uk there are no exceptions to this
00:16:48.240 rule even if they say yes it is still illegal you could go to prison lose your support and
00:16:53.140 accommodation and it will affect your asylum claim really will it really can you name can you
00:17:00.620 point to a single asylum seeker whose violent crimes have stopped them from remaining in the
00:17:06.680 uk or for that matter here in canada um here's one and again it it this document uh yo-yos between
00:17:16.700 outrageous capital crimes like raping children to respect in public. In the UK, people have
00:17:24.980 different beliefs, religions, cultures, relationships, and ways of life. You must treat others with
00:17:30.760 respect, even if you disagree with their beliefs or how they live. Really? I was in the UK myself
00:17:36.500 and my colleague Alexa Lavoie was in the UK for some of these massive pro-Hamas rallies. And I
00:17:42.380 say pro-Hammats because I saw them. Not only were they pro-terrorist, they were for the terrorist
00:17:48.760 activities of murder, of killing Jews. They would say these things out loud. So when the UK says
00:17:56.260 you must respect people who have different religions, says who? Says a brochure? The
00:18:03.580 politicians don't say it. The police don't say it. It's just not a fact on the ground.
00:18:07.420 this is a brochure you put out um that has been put out once the whole place is already on fire
00:18:15.400 they haven't screened anyone in canada i don't know if you know this but there are no
00:18:20.960 in-person meetings at all for for the vast majority of immigration it's all just clicking
00:18:27.300 and clicking on the internet no one has to look you in the eye and judge whether you are a good
00:18:33.820 faith would be Canadian. We simply open the floodgates. Page seven, the last page is called
00:18:40.740 getting help. And I think that's, again, the people who need to see this probably won't.
00:18:46.740 I see there's a forced marriage unit on here. Imagine having so many forced marriages that you
00:18:54.620 actually set up a special division for that. This is what happens when you open the gates
00:19:02.020 are flooded by countless migrants with not just different views on on law and order
00:19:08.100 but with different views about what constitutes a crime at all and i showed you clips i could
00:19:14.740 have showed you a hundred in the united kingdom there's a lot of uh vigilantes i want to be
00:19:22.100 careful on how you use that word they don't they're not actual vigilantes they pose as young
00:19:27.740 girls online and they entrap men coming to have sex with minors some of them are old stock brits
00:19:33.880 but a shocking number are people from those parts of the world where they would do this i one of the
00:19:41.160 most terrible news stories i ever wrote about in the toronto sun and they fact checked it so hard
00:19:46.920 because they couldn't believe it was a bus in pakistan and maybe i've told you this story before
00:19:52.920 the bus in Pakistan some men in the bus started raping a child in the back of the bus
00:20:00.960 so the bus driver pulled over and joined in the raping it sounds like a shocking impossible story
00:20:10.800 but it's true that is what a rape culture looks like you know on tv we have a show called
00:20:17.940 A Handmaid's Tale, where it's Christian nationalists who have set up a Sharia-like
00:20:23.320 system. There's no country like that. The more Christian the country, the more tolerant and
00:20:29.080 tolerable it is. There are countries that make people dress up if they're women in face obscuring
00:20:35.620 veils. They're all Islamic. I think that this is a crisis that is coming to the West. And I think
00:20:44.120 we've let down women and children. And I think we keep telling ourselves that there's no differences
00:20:49.180 between things because we're so locked in to the vocabulary of multiculturalism. As Trudeau and
00:20:55.200 Carney say, diversity is our strength. Really? What kind of diversity? The diversity that this
00:21:01.540 rape brochure talks about? If you're putting out brochures telling people not to rape,
00:21:06.880 you've already lost the battle.
00:21:14.680 David Menzies for Rebel News here outside the Calvary Baptist Church in Toronto.
00:21:21.380 And this is the venue for a candidate's debate for the federal riding of Beaches East York.
00:21:28.400 This is one of three ridings up for grabs in the by-elections to come on August the 31st.
00:21:36.180 And of note, the Liberals have to win at least one of the three in order to maintain their
00:21:44.020 majority. And you might have noticed, folks, we have once again brought our big, beautiful
00:21:50.340 billboard truck. It's parked in a perfect position outside the church. But the thing is, we have to
00:21:56.880 ponder these days, will Mark be allowed to remain here? He is parked perfectly legal. But the thing
00:22:03.520 is as we found out yesterday outside scotia bank arena the toronto police are maintaining a vendetta
00:22:11.680 against our company and our truck do you remember what happened when we had messaging on the truck
00:22:18.560 yesterday outside scotia bank that was in support of female athletics namely not having female
00:22:27.520 sports invaded by men here check out what happened i've been instructed by my boss to keep it on
00:22:34.000 i'm getting a ticket anyway right don't you believe in free speech officer
00:22:38.160 yeah i just don't know how i've been doing this for two years and nobody's ever pulled me over
00:22:42.820 well so this is why we're acting under this authority right who would have suggested this
00:22:47.660 goofy idea of that because it's never before being applied to a billboard truck like that
00:22:53.300 The light's clearly there, sir, as you can see from the section.
00:22:56.260 Back to the truck.
00:22:57.380 You see, what's behind this is my boss, Ezra Levent,
00:23:01.280 has registered a third-party campaign group with Elections Canada.
00:23:07.120 This means Ezra can legally raise money and spend it campaigning,
00:23:12.860 including criticizing Carney and his candidates.
00:23:17.480 It's called Brookfield Watch.
00:23:20.620 And I think you can guess why.
00:23:21.960 Brookfield is the trillion dollar asset empire Kearney helped run before he got
00:23:29.040 into politics oh hi ma'am why are we lying what did we lie about well that was
00:23:36.280 our first wild Karen typically white woke liberal woman and you know you get
00:23:46.280 them everywhere, even outside a church. Folks, you might recall our investigations we did into
00:23:52.980 Brookfield several months ago. We literally followed the money, and the money led offshore.
00:23:59.860 There were two, or are two, Kearney-led green funds worth $25 billion, and they're registered
00:24:09.000 in Bermuda at an address shared with a bicycle rental company. I'm not making this up. Here,
00:24:16.600 check it out. 73 Front Street is the address of one of his companies. And it's obviously not
00:24:22.080 this bike shop. Yeah. Have you, has any other reporter come by asking about that? No. And
00:24:27.580 there is another Brookfield company. It can be found at the Isle of Man. It is a private apartment
00:24:34.460 this time. And of course, testimony at the Commons Ethics Committee revealed that there is more than
00:24:41.620 $3 billion in Brookfield investments linked directly to China with financing coming from
00:24:50.740 the Bank of China. Wow. So you might be wondering why have our truck with the brookfieldwatch.com
00:24:58.980 domain name. Well, maybe we can add a little truth into the by-election campaigns, the truth you're
00:25:07.760 not going to get from the mainstream media. And by the way, this is not a pipe dream. Our truck
00:25:13.580 is not without success when it comes to flipping seats in a federal election. In the last federal
00:25:21.040 election, we deployed our truck extensively in York Centre. Guess what? Yara Sachs lost her seat.
00:25:29.060 She was the only MP in the 416 area code to lose her seat. The Conservative Roman Baber won there.
00:25:38.100 And in Richmond Hill, we deployed our truck against the Iranian regime supporter. That would
00:25:45.680 be Majid Johari. And lo and behold, Mr. Johari lost his seat as well. What I'm saying, folks,
00:25:53.540 is that shedding a little sunlight, giving the election campaign a little bit of sanitation,
00:26:00.920 it can be effective. And the proof is in the pudding based on those two GTA writings I just
00:26:08.340 mentioned. By the way, if you want to support it, unlike donations to a political party,
00:26:13.340 contributions to a registered third party in a by-election have no limit so even if you've
00:26:19.880 already given to say the conservative party you can steal fuel our truck go to brookfieldwatch.com
00:26:27.740 and ship in whatever you can to put our truck back on the road we need your support bottom line
00:26:35.860 mark carney is obsessed with having a majority government a majority government i'll remind you
00:26:43.180 that he did not win in the last federal election,
00:26:46.420 but thanks to getting five MPs to cross the floor,
00:26:51.420 he achieved it in an underhanded way, I think.
00:26:55.820 Does that feel like democracy to you, folks?
00:26:58.000 Let's see what the constituents in this writing have to say.
00:27:01.240 Have you made up your mind who you're voting for
00:27:03.040 on August 31st?
00:27:05.900 Anybody but the Liberal Party.
00:27:10.200 I can't afford it as a mother.
00:27:11.580 I can't afford it as a person with a disability
00:27:13.980 and somebody who care gives to a person with a disability
00:27:17.080 with a child in the school system
00:27:19.180 that the Liberals are currently failing.
00:27:21.620 May I ask you, have you decided how you're going to cast
00:27:24.620 your ballot in this by-election coming up?
00:27:26.720 Neither one of these two parties.
00:27:28.620 That would be the NDP and the Liberal Party.
00:27:31.840 Both of them are.
00:27:33.140 They sold out Canada.
00:27:34.980 Personally, I think Kearney, he's doing well.
00:27:40.380 He's doing well.
00:27:41.440 OK.
00:27:42.280 In what, exactly?
00:27:44.740 In terms of tackle the financial situation in Canada.
00:27:47.740 OK.
00:27:48.640 That's because we are facing a lot of problem
00:27:51.200 due to Trump, Donald Trump.
00:27:53.860 I think the beaches, it all seems to be an older riding.
00:27:57.200 And a lot of older people, they really look like Kearney
00:28:00.940 because he seems like a stable figure on the surface.
00:28:04.040 And they watch the CBC.
00:28:06.400 Yeah, I think a lot of people do watch the CBC, yeah.
00:28:08.920 This is a very old community.
00:28:10.720 OK.
00:28:11.260 And so they have no idea what's going on
00:28:14.420 outside their own little world.
00:28:16.100 I think they have support because the people
00:28:18.000 who are supporting them are the people who are abusing
00:28:20.200 the system at this point.
00:28:21.700 One of the topics for debate is food security.
00:28:25.140 And under the Liberals, the number of Canadians
00:28:28.020 using food banks has more than doubled.
00:28:30.820 You cannot consider with one factor.
00:28:33.040 Many factors are here.
00:28:35.020 New immigrants, refugees, then the global situation,
00:28:39.220 global financial crisis.
00:28:41.060 The food bank usage has doubled, but it's not always being accessed by Canadians.
00:28:47.060 Sometimes it's not even accessible to us because of the wait times.
00:28:50.500 There's not enough food banks to go around for the neighbourhood.
00:28:53.880 I work two jobs, part-time each job, plus I'm a full-time caregiver, a single mom.
00:28:58.920 How do you do it?
00:28:59.520 I still have to skip meals for myself to make sure my daughter eats.
00:29:02.580 Oh, come on.
00:29:04.460 It's disheartening, so we have to find a change.
00:29:06.820 At this right moment, I think Kearney, he is trying to manage very well.
00:29:13.340 But sir, his biggest promise in the last federal election almost a year and a half ago was a trade deal with the U.S., elbows up, all that.
00:29:21.500 We still don't have that yet.
00:29:23.980 Can I say something very straight?
00:29:26.120 Sure.
00:29:26.780 For me, Donald Trump, Honorable President of the United States of America, he's unpredictable.
00:29:35.240 Sometimes I think that that's my personal opinion.
00:29:38.560 Not everyone is going to vote exactly how they feel.
00:29:41.860 They might vote strategically or they might really identify with a party that they're like,
00:29:46.460 oh, they're never going to win.
00:29:47.400 So I'm just going to do the lesser of the evils.
00:29:49.400 That's fascinating.
00:29:50.180 When you say vote strategically, the Mark Carney Liberals have to win one of the three by-elections
00:29:56.240 to maintain the majority.
00:29:58.640 Are you implying that there are people that would like to see Mark Carney maintain a majority government?
00:30:04.660 oh for sure there's people who want all sorts of things if you're elected to serve your community
00:30:10.900 because they want your values you i don't believe it's right even if it's legal i don't believe it's
00:30:15.540 moral to in your own self-interest or because the government is threatening you or or asking you
00:30:22.420 very much i don't think it's right to cross the floor i really i really don't i think that should
00:30:25.300 be up to the voters to decide in a by-election yeah when we're prioritizing immigration and
00:30:30.260 illegal immigrants versus our own people that starts to affect everybody. Well there you go
00:30:36.260 folks. Plenty of critics for the Mark Carney Liberals and don't think we didn't reach out
00:30:43.540 to those who were Liberal and NDP supporters. We did. They wanted nothing to do with us.
00:30:50.820 You know what? That's an upgrade from getting an F-bomb and a middle finger in your face I should
00:30:56.180 think so they politely declined another disturbing trend was the fact that there were others who
00:31:03.860 wanted to criticize the government and they said I work in such and such a job and if they see what
00:31:10.820 I have to say there's a good chance I'll be fired can you imagine that's Canada in 2026 just voicing
00:31:19.140 a reasonable opinion being critical of a government might mean an economic kneecapping
00:31:27.860 that doesn't sound like a democracy to me that sounds like we're in some kind of communist
00:31:33.220 country and i mean if you ask some people we're headed that way in the meantime i want to reiterate
00:31:39.220 brookfieldwatch.com that's brookfieldwatch.com if you can folks make a donation let us try
00:31:49.140 to fight the good fight, to swing some of these writings away from the Mark Carney Liberals.
00:32:02.200 Hey, welcome back. Your letters to me. On the Joe Warmington chat about the state of
00:32:07.620 journalism in Canada, RDE says, Canadian media, excluding the CBC, gets $600 million from the
00:32:13.280 federal Liberal government. How is this not considered a massive conflict of interest?
00:32:17.040 would you publicly criticize your boss and expect to keep your job that's a great point
00:32:21.240 of course at rebel news we take no money from the government and no individual donor gives us more
00:32:26.060 than one percent of our revenue and if there were if there were someone who say gave us a million
00:32:33.160 bucks a year i and if we took that i mean it would weigh on my mind well what do they want
00:32:39.100 and am i bold enough to resist it now luckily i've never had the challenge of having a million
00:32:46.360 dollar a year donor but um you know that they have an interest and and i saw this when i worked
00:32:53.280 in mainstream media i i'll just tell you the story i remember when i worked at the national
00:32:58.400 post about 25 years ago and this was when the air canada and canadian airlines remember them
00:33:04.880 were having a merger and this is really before the internet was big and powerful so back then
00:33:10.700 newspaper ads were the thing. And I remember Air Canada would take huge full-page ads out regularly
00:33:18.680 advertising seat sales. And the Financial Post, part of the National Post, wrote editorials
00:33:26.140 criticizing the proposed merger. And I remember when Air Canada or their ad buyers contacted the
00:33:33.700 post and said you've got to make a choice keep criticizing air canada or get our huge ad spend
00:33:43.060 you can't do both and i i think i think they make the choice to take the cash um
00:33:52.360 the beauty of having a distributed source of funds where the average donor to rebel news is 58
00:34:00.660 dollars 58 dollars is that there's no one person who could ever call me up and say kill that story
00:34:06.540 fire that person i still pay attention when people say that kill that story fire that person
00:34:11.500 but on my own terms i assess it uh on the merits i i think that there is simply no way a government
00:34:20.080 funded journalist can be honest even if they say oh i'm going to be really independent
00:34:23.700 subconsciously i just don't think you can be that's my view at least luckily i've never been
00:34:28.940 tested because we, I'm kidding around, we never have asked for government money. We never would
00:34:34.840 get it. And if we ever took government money, I would expect our viewers just wouldn't trust us
00:34:39.460 anymore. Joe Bush says Joseph Goebbels would be envious of the liberal propaganda machine
00:34:44.560 disguised as the mainstream media. Well, that's a great point. In Canada, the media was quite
00:34:54.760 independent until about 20 years ago when it started getting in trouble with enormous
00:34:59.060 competition from the internet and it started getting desperate. 20 years ago, no journalist,
00:35:05.660 no self-respecting journalist at a reputable title would even have thought for a second
00:35:11.400 that they would take government money. They would have been appalled by the insult of it.
00:35:16.560 That belief, that important, fierce, independent belief has been drummed out of every journalist
00:35:23.580 in the country. My favorite example to laugh at is Andrew Coyne of the Globe and Mail,
00:35:28.620 who for decades has had a very lucrative position at the CBC panel. And he works for the Globe and
00:35:36.160 Mail, which is one of the largest recipients of government funds. So he gets it two ways,
00:35:41.460 from the CBC and from the Globe and Mail. But once a year, he writes a column about how
00:35:46.140 government funding media is bad as he cashes his government funded media subsidy check.
00:35:52.880 it's so gross it's such a laugh um most journalists have the good sense not to be a
00:35:59.840 hypocrite like that they just shut up and take the money but rebel news has never and will never take
00:36:04.920 government handouts and that's a promise that's our show for today until tomorrow on behalf of
00:36:10.500 all of us here at rebel world headquarters to you at home good night and keep fighting for freedom
