00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. I want to show you some terrifying images. It's the Palestinian terrorists
00:00:06.060 in Gaza handing back the caskets of the little babies that they kidnapped a year and a half ago,
00:00:13.820 kidnapped, tortured, and then killed. And they handed them back to Israel in a grotesque,
00:00:21.000 macabre celebration. I want to talk to you a bit about that. That's today's show. And you certainly
00:00:26.200 need to see the video to understand the depth of it. Go to rebelnewsplus.com and click subscribe

00:01:32.960 Tonight, Hamas sends the remains of hostages back to Israel in the most depraved sight I've
00:01:54.460 ever seen. It's February 20th, and this is the Answer LeVant Show.
00:02:00.820 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:02:12.700 Most of the people who invaded southern Israel on October 7th, 2023 were not officially with the
00:02:19.660 Hamas terrorist group. They were civilians in Gaza who actually just came along for the murder and the
00:02:27.060 rape and the torture and the kidnapping. More than a thousand Jews and non-Jewish Israelis too
00:02:33.820 were murdered that day, thousands more wounded. But the greatest achievement of Hamas, according to
00:02:40.520 them and according to Iran's Ayatollahs, was the seizure, the kidnapping of more than 200
00:02:46.660 hostages, especially young people who were dancing at an outdoor dance party in southern Israel.
00:02:52.720 You might remember that suddenly terrorists came on ultralight aircraft.
00:03:16.660 By the time the young people knew what was going on, disaster had come.
00:03:26.900 置ing up a edit from the
00:03:46.700 It was the highest death toll of Jews since the Holocaust itself.
00:04:09.080 In the Holocaust, the Nazis actually tried to conceal the degree of their torture and
00:04:15.660 violence, not only from their own German people, many of whom still had humanity in their
00:04:21.220 blood and Christianity in their hearts.
00:04:23.720 And even if they didn't particularly like Jews, they would have found the mass murder
00:04:27.560 and torture of Jews repugnant.
00:04:30.580 Hitler hid his crimes from his own people and, of course, from the world.
00:04:34.660 By the way, he did so with the assistance of the Red Cross back then.
00:04:40.020 But not the Palestinian Nazis.
00:04:42.280 They bragged about it.
00:04:43.360 They cheered about it in real time.
00:04:46.220 They live streamed their butchery.
00:04:49.060 They phoned back to Gaza to tell their friends and family that they had killed Jews, raped
00:04:54.260 Jews, tortured Jews.
00:04:55.880 They were exultant.
00:04:58.400 But, of course, the kidnapping was especially valuable for several reasons, because they
00:05:03.020 were human shields.
00:05:04.280 Now, Hamas uses Palestinians as human shields.
00:05:07.540 Almost every school or hospital in Gaza sits on top of a Hamas base.
00:05:13.740 Hamas wins either way that way.
00:05:16.100 Either the Israelis don't attack them because they don't want to hurt civilians, or the Israelis
00:05:21.120 do attack them.
00:05:22.800 And Hamas wins a PR victory against Israel.
00:05:26.460 The war crime legally is on the terrorists, of course, but tell that to the CBC or the BBC
00:05:31.660 or TikTok's propaganda mill.
00:05:35.320 Gazan civilians are effective as hostages, as human shields.
00:05:40.840 But Israeli hostages, well, that's something altogether different.
00:05:44.320 Israel would be extra sensitive about accidentally killing them.
00:05:47.660 And, of course, they are the bargaining chip that Hamas uses for anything and everything, getting
00:05:53.780 a ceasefire, releasing Hamas terrorists from Israeli prisons, whatever.
00:05:59.020 Hamas worships death.
00:06:00.680 Israel cherishes life.
00:06:01.860 That's what the phrase l'chaim means, to life.
00:06:05.420 It's the opposite for Hamas, a veritable death cult.
00:06:09.300 There were many awful images of that day.
00:06:12.160 But amongst the worst was this one, of a horrified mother and her two little babies being stolen.
00:06:21.000 They were infants.
00:06:21.940 It was horrific.
00:06:23.760 That is what every Palestinian protester the past 16 months has been cheering for.
00:06:30.680 Well, yesterday, Hamas released that mother and those two babies and another aged man, released
00:06:36.660 them dead.
00:06:38.120 They were murdered by Hamas.
00:06:39.820 And Hamas bargained with their corpses to get back from Israel more terrorists who were
00:06:46.500 in prison.
00:06:48.100 Hamas tortured and killed the beautiful young family.
00:06:51.580 They tortured and killed the babies.
00:06:54.860 And then when they gave them back, they turned it into a festival, a public day of celebration.
00:07:01.420 Watch these various clips.
00:07:02.680 Dayan social media.
00:07:05.000 Sayan arah!
00:07:05.680 Sayan arah!
00:07:07.820 Sayan arah!
00:07:10.360 Nice!
00:07:14.960 Sayan arah!
00:07:15.560 It was a festival, upbeat music,
00:07:44.120 a formal, official celebration, a happy day.
00:07:48.360 They invited children en masse,
00:07:50.620 and everyone put on their uniforms and masks and guns.
00:07:54.060 These terrorists who normally hide in civilian clothes,
00:07:56.820 they were bravely wearing their uniforms
00:07:59.100 and bore their weapons openly,
00:08:01.020 knowing that Israel wouldn't attack them then.
00:08:04.180 The caskets, by the way, were locked.
00:08:06.700 They had to be drilled open.
00:08:07.880 They had to be searched for explosives first.
00:08:10.720 The Red Cross was there to assist with the handover.
00:08:13.460 The Red Cross that has not has a single word to say
00:08:16.640 about these hostages,
00:08:18.100 that has not even tried to visit them or help them
00:08:21.720 or bring them food or medical care
00:08:23.240 in the last year and a half.
00:08:25.140 What a spectacular production it was,
00:08:27.660 an expensive, media-savvy production,
00:08:30.480 paid for by the NGOs, including UNRWA.
00:08:33.460 That's a UN agency that Trudeau has given
00:08:35.780 tens of millions of our taxpayers' dollars to.
00:08:38.160 I saw a poignant tweet that said,
00:08:41.900 even in Nazi Germany,
00:08:43.840 there were righteous Gentiles
00:08:45.440 who hid Jews from the Nazis,
00:08:47.840 who protected Jews.
00:08:49.860 Not so in Gaza.
00:08:51.400 Not one.
00:08:54.440 Some Israeli hostages were kept in underground tunnels,
00:08:57.340 again, built by Western aid money.
00:09:00.340 But many others were kept in civilian homes.
00:09:03.020 There really is no meaningful distinction
00:09:06.220 between Gazans and Hamas.
00:09:09.240 Hamas has seen to that.
00:09:10.820 20 years of propaganda and indoctrination,
00:09:14.240 20 years of brainwashing their youth.
00:09:16.580 It would be like if Hitler had survived
00:09:18.580 and lived and continued on.
00:09:21.240 What would German youth have been like
00:09:23.060 in the 1950s and 1960s
00:09:25.120 if Hitler had continued on with his Nazi regime,
00:09:28.800 including with modern technology of indoctrination?
00:09:31.560 Imagine Germany with 20 years of that.
00:09:35.880 That's Gaza.
00:09:37.220 Today.
00:09:38.580 Oh, by the way,
00:09:39.140 the only starving people were the hostages,
00:09:41.480 not the Gazans.
00:09:42.380 So much for a famine,
00:09:44.320 as the propagandists said.
00:09:47.100 Trump was sickened by the images.
00:09:49.680 He said he would support
00:09:50.880 literally anything Israel does in response.
00:09:53.500 As far as I'm concerned,
00:09:54.720 if all of the hostages aren't returned
00:09:56.840 by Saturday at 12 o'clock,
00:09:59.780 I think it's an appropriate time.
00:10:01.860 I would say cancel it
00:10:04.440 and all bets are off
00:10:05.700 and let hell break out.
00:10:08.400 I'd say they ought to be returned
00:10:10.040 by 12 o'clock on Saturday.
00:10:11.720 And if they're not returned,
00:10:12.640 all of them,
00:10:13.560 not in drips and drabs,
00:10:15.340 not two and one and three
00:10:16.880 and four and two.
00:10:21.720 Saturday at 12 o'clock.
00:10:24.240 And after that,
00:10:25.260 I would say
00:10:26.140 all hell is going to break out.
00:10:29.940 It'll be interesting to see
00:10:30.980 what Israel does do.
00:10:32.980 But it will be uninteresting
00:10:34.820 to see the world's response to it.
00:10:36.900 It'll be exactly what we've seen
00:10:38.600 these past 16 months.
00:10:40.100 No interest in the mainstream media
00:10:41.800 about the new Nazis
00:10:43.200 and what they've just done,
00:10:44.540 but exquisite interest
00:10:46.200 in what Israel does in return.
00:10:47.840 every one of these terrorists
00:10:50.060 who takes off their uniforms
00:10:51.540 and then calls themselves
00:10:53.060 a civilian again.
00:10:55.400 Oh, and there's some Canadian news.
00:10:56.920 Did you see this?
00:10:58.300 It's a story in the Toronto Star.
00:11:01.640 Gazan families sue Canada
00:11:04.140 for visa application delays.
00:11:07.280 The families represent 53 people
00:11:08.980 who have applied for visas
00:11:10.360 under a special
00:11:11.260 temporary resident program
00:11:13.020 for Palestinians
00:11:14.000 with family in Gaza.
00:11:15.620 Let me read a little bit.
00:11:18.240 Eleven families from Gaza
00:11:19.760 are taking the Canadian government
00:11:20.960 to court
00:11:21.440 for prologuing their,
00:11:23.120 quote,
00:11:23.360 exposure to life-threatening
00:11:24.900 and inhumane conditions,
00:11:26.440 unquote,
00:11:27.140 by delaying application processing
00:11:29.080 under a program
00:11:30.180 meant to offer relief
00:11:31.040 from the Israel-Hamas conflict.
00:11:32.920 The families represent 53 people,
00:11:34.720 including 27 babies and children
00:11:36.420 who have applied for visas
00:11:37.860 under the temporary resident pathway
00:11:39.580 for Palestinian extended family
00:11:41.380 in Gaza program.
00:11:42.260 launched in January 2024.
00:11:45.440 Yeah, no, no, no.
00:11:47.980 We have to send them all back.
00:11:50.420 Not just the Gazans
00:11:51.780 who we are insanely taking,
00:11:55.020 but so many
00:11:56.240 who we have already taken
00:11:57.840 and who would murder
00:11:59.660 our Canadian babies, too,
00:12:02.140 if they ever get the chance.
00:12:03.240 And I'm afraid
00:12:04.720 if we continue on this path,
00:12:06.040 they just might get the chance.

00:13:16.200 Whenever I think of monorails,
00:13:18.600 I think of Disneyland,
00:13:19.860 which has a monorail,
00:13:20.640 and I think of a bunch of
00:13:21.880 futuristic ideas
00:13:23.660 from the 1950s
00:13:25.800 of what the future
00:13:27.040 would look like.
00:13:28.140 Flying cars and monorails,
00:13:30.200 they never really seem to work,
00:13:32.160 do they?
00:13:33.100 It's one of my favorite episodes
00:13:34.700 in The Simpsons
00:13:35.720 where a monorail salesman
00:13:37.520 comes by,
00:13:38.840 teases the good people
00:13:40.140 of Springfield,
00:13:40.940 and when they start asking
00:13:41.780 too many questions,
00:13:42.640 he says,
00:13:43.020 no, no,
00:13:43.500 this is more a Shelbyville
00:13:45.700 kind of idea,
00:13:46.520 and of course,
00:13:47.060 the rivalry makes
00:13:48.140 the Springfielders
00:13:49.520 buy the monorail.
00:13:51.380 Here's a refresher
00:13:52.200 of that really funny segment.
00:13:54.600 Please.
00:13:56.360 You know,
00:13:57.060 a town with money
00:13:57.820 is a little like
00:13:58.540 the mule
00:13:59.180 with a spinning wheel.
00:14:00.720 No one knows
00:14:01.380 how he got it,
00:14:02.020 and danged
00:14:02.660 if he knows
00:14:03.240 how to use it.
00:14:07.040 Mule.
00:14:07.760 The name's Landly,
00:14:09.200 Lyle Landly,
00:14:10.620 and I come before you
00:14:11.580 good people tonight
00:14:12.360 with an idea,
00:14:13.660 probably the greatest...
00:14:15.580 Oh,
00:14:16.100 it's not for you.
00:14:17.100 It's more of a
00:14:18.000 Shelbyville idea.
00:14:20.320 Now,
00:14:20.640 wait just a minute.
00:14:21.800 We're twice as smart
00:14:22.800 as the people
00:14:23.200 of Shelbyville.
00:14:24.160 Just tell us your idea
00:14:25.240 and we'll vote for it.
00:14:26.360 All right.
00:14:26.820 I tell you what I'll do.
00:14:29.000 I'll show you my idea.
00:14:31.120 I give you
00:14:32.060 the Springfield monorail.
00:14:40.960 All aboard.
00:14:42.040 Can't you stop it, Dad?
00:15:10.060 I'm trying my best.
00:15:12.140 The lever you have pulled
00:15:13.680 breaks.
00:15:14.960 He's not in service.
00:15:16.360 Please make a note of it.
00:15:17.980 Well,
00:15:18.980 just days before
00:15:20.940 he's supposed to retire,
00:15:23.120 Justin Trudeau
00:15:23.920 popped up,
00:15:24.840 and not as the
00:15:26.740 monorail salesman.
00:15:28.180 He didn't need to
00:15:29.700 have Parliament
00:15:31.180 or anyone agree.
00:15:32.540 He just announced
00:15:33.520 that he was going to build
00:15:35.200 a high-speed monorail
00:15:36.500 down eastern Canada
00:15:38.580 that will cost
00:15:40.140 up to $40 billion.
00:15:42.660 He was so proud of himself.
00:15:44.400 Take a look at this
00:15:45.100 astonishing spending.
00:15:47.200 Today,
00:15:47.940 I'm announcing
00:15:48.520 the launch of
00:15:49.380 Alto,
00:15:50.360 the largest infrastructure
00:15:51.660 project in Canadian history.
00:15:54.140 A high-speed rail network
00:15:55.860 between Quebec City
00:15:56.960 and Toronto
00:15:57.660 with stops in
00:15:58.960 Trois-Rivières,
00:15:59.900 Laval,
00:16:00.660 Montreal,
00:16:01.400 Ottawa,
00:16:01.700 and Peterborough.
00:16:03.360 It'll span
00:16:04.180 1,000 kilometres
00:16:05.500 with 100%
00:16:06.760 electric trains
00:16:07.760 that will reach
00:16:08.700 speeds of
00:16:09.380 300 kilometres an hour.
00:16:12.280 A reliable,
00:16:14.200 efficient,
00:16:14.820 high-speed rail network
00:16:16.020 will be a game-changer
00:16:17.600 for Canadians,
00:16:18.940 slashing travel times
00:16:20.100 by half,
00:16:21.140 getting you
00:16:21.620 from Toronto
00:16:22.180 to Montreal
00:16:22.740 in three hours.
00:16:25.560 It'll stimulate
00:16:26.320 our economy,
00:16:27.700 strengthen the bonds
00:16:28.660 between cities
00:16:29.480 and our two
00:16:29.980 most populous provinces,
00:16:31.260 and reduce costs
00:16:33.020 for businesses
00:16:33.800 while improving
00:16:35.020 their productivity
00:16:35.840 and competitiveness.
00:16:37.500 He said he's going to spend
00:16:38.540 about $4 billion now,
00:16:40.080 but in total,
00:16:41.060 it'll be a $40 billion
00:16:42.520 white elephant.
00:16:44.100 This is to distract
00:16:45.440 from the earlier
00:16:46.320 $40 billion
00:16:47.440 white elephant
00:16:48.940 of electric vehicle batteries.
00:16:51.580 Joining us now
00:16:51.980 to talk about this
00:16:52.860 spectacular
00:16:54.740 and bizarre fiasco
00:16:56.440 is our friend
00:16:56.860 Franco Teresano
00:16:57.620 of the Canadian
00:16:58.660 Taxpayers Federation.
00:16:59.760 Franco,
00:17:00.060 it really is
00:17:01.400 the worst
00:17:01.700 of all worlds.
00:17:02.980 And the fact
00:17:03.500 that he just
00:17:03.940 announces this
00:17:04.720 with no democratic
00:17:05.820 legitimacy
00:17:06.360 while Parliament
00:17:07.400 is dissolved
00:17:08.300 and he's got days
00:17:09.240 left in his mandate,
00:17:10.400 it's the strangest
00:17:12.120 banana republic
00:17:13.400 kind of thing
00:17:14.260 I've ever seen.
00:17:15.820 Well,
00:17:16.400 can someone just
00:17:17.140 take away
00:17:17.680 his credit card?
00:17:19.140 Like,
00:17:19.460 please?
00:17:20.560 Like,
00:17:21.220 you have a lame duck
00:17:22.720 prime minister
00:17:23.640 who,
00:17:24.380 as you said,
00:17:24.940 is like days,
00:17:25.820 weeks away
00:17:26.660 from leaving the job,
00:17:27.940 and now he's
00:17:29.020 announcing that
00:17:29.660 he's going to
00:17:30.060 take Canada
00:17:30.780 billions of dollars
00:17:32.360 more into debt,
00:17:33.940 right?
00:17:34.320 You mentioned
00:17:34.880 that $4 billion
00:17:36.120 figure being thrown
00:17:37.280 around there.
00:17:38.040 That's just for
00:17:38.820 the development base.
00:17:39.880 That's just for
00:17:40.640 the planning,
00:17:41.720 right?
00:17:42.080 Like,
00:17:42.480 this is going
00:17:43.200 to be a spectacular
00:17:44.540 taxpayer boondoggle
00:17:46.080 and the costs
00:17:47.120 are going to be
00:17:47.780 astronomical,
00:17:49.200 right?
00:17:49.460 I also heard
00:17:50.160 you mention
00:17:50.640 $40 billion,
00:17:52.000 maybe the total cost
00:17:53.300 to taxpayers
00:17:54.220 of the total development,
00:17:55.300 but I've heard
00:17:56.200 even higher costs,
00:17:57.460 right?
00:17:57.880 When Transport Canada
00:17:59.120 initially looked at this,
00:18:01.080 they estimated
00:18:02.000 that the cost
00:18:02.680 could be
00:18:03.100 as much
00:18:03.900 as $80 billion.
00:18:05.400 Oh my God.
00:18:05.960 And like,
00:18:06.860 here's a question,
00:18:07.660 Ezra,
00:18:08.120 how is the government
00:18:08.820 going to pay for this,
00:18:10.080 right?
00:18:10.460 More than a trillion
00:18:11.400 dollars in debt,
00:18:12.660 interest charges,
00:18:13.580 costing taxpayers
00:18:14.360 a billion dollars a week.
00:18:16.000 Like,
00:18:16.340 have they gone mad?
00:18:18.120 You know,
00:18:18.500 they already have
00:18:19.420 a government-owned
00:18:20.400 train called
00:18:21.120 Via Rail
00:18:21.900 that's losing billions
00:18:23.580 that is not on time.
00:18:26.460 It's very poorly rated
00:18:28.000 in terms of
00:18:28.560 customer satisfaction.
00:18:30.180 And so they want
00:18:30.960 to double down
00:18:31.700 on trains.
00:18:32.700 It reminds me
00:18:33.260 of California.
00:18:34.160 And I think
00:18:34.500 in some ways
00:18:35.040 Justin Trudeau
00:18:36.000 sort of sees
00:18:36.720 himself as a
00:18:38.360 younger,
00:18:38.960 dumber version
00:18:39.620 of Gavin Newsom,
00:18:40.540 the governor down there.
00:18:41.840 And California
00:18:42.800 has spent tens
00:18:43.740 of billions of dollars
00:18:45.060 on their high-speed rail,
00:18:46.920 monorail,
00:18:47.740 which has not,
00:18:49.260 it's not anywhere
00:18:50.100 near being done.
00:18:51.340 There was recently
00:18:52.000 a picture that
00:18:53.320 the train company
00:18:55.080 itself published
00:18:56.240 of a one-kilometer
00:18:57.740 stretch
00:18:58.500 in the middle
00:18:59.340 of nowhere,
00:19:00.020 connected to nothing.
00:19:01.060 They were so proud
00:19:02.100 of this one-kilometer
00:19:03.120 stretch that they put
00:19:03.880 out a tweet about it.
00:19:05.560 That is our destiny,
00:19:07.620 government-funded
00:19:08.380 monorails.
00:19:09.160 It doesn't make sense
00:19:10.580 in California,
00:19:11.480 which is a very high
00:19:12.860 population density place.
00:19:14.780 It certainly doesn't
00:19:15.980 make sense in Canada.
00:19:17.440 It doesn't make sense
00:19:18.260 financially.
00:19:18.840 It doesn't make sense
00:19:19.560 logistically.
00:19:20.180 It doesn't make sense
00:19:20.920 even in terms of
00:19:22.060 you already have
00:19:23.680 a railway that's broken.
00:19:26.280 But one thing
00:19:27.220 that absolutely
00:19:28.340 did make sense
00:19:29.160 to me, Franco,
00:19:30.120 is I saw that
00:19:31.060 SNC-Lavalin
00:19:31.980 was one of the
00:19:33.080 consortium.
00:19:33.880 They have a new name now.
00:19:35.540 Apparently,
00:19:35.940 they've changed
00:19:36.460 their name,
00:19:36.900 just like convicted
00:19:37.560 criminals sometimes
00:19:38.700 change their name
00:19:39.620 to get away
00:19:40.080 from their sordid past.
00:19:41.660 Apparently,
00:19:42.080 SNC-Lavalin
00:19:42.760 is part of this gig.
00:19:43.580 What do you think
00:19:43.920 about that?
00:19:45.440 Well, it doesn't
00:19:46.280 really matter
00:19:46.780 who's a part
00:19:47.440 of this gig,
00:19:48.280 right?
00:19:48.840 What really matters
00:19:49.760 is that taxpayers
00:19:50.660 shouldn't be a part
00:19:51.800 of this gig.
00:19:52.520 Look,
00:19:52.960 if an actual company
00:19:54.120 wants to build
00:19:54.780 a high-speed rail,
00:19:56.160 fill your boots.
00:19:57.020 Why are taxpayers
00:19:58.100 doing this,
00:19:58.900 right?
00:19:59.380 Think about this
00:20:00.300 in two ways.
00:20:01.120 Number one,
00:20:01.960 why are taxpayers
00:20:02.680 in every other
00:20:03.920 part of the country,
00:20:05.180 not living in Toronto
00:20:06.380 to the Quebec City
00:20:07.260 corridor,
00:20:07.980 why are they paying
00:20:08.720 for this,
00:20:09.620 right?
00:20:09.980 Or think about it
00:20:10.640 this way.
00:20:11.280 Who's really going
00:20:12.120 to use this
00:20:12.700 high-speed rail?
00:20:13.940 You know you're
00:20:14.540 still going to have
00:20:15.180 to fork over,
00:20:15.980 what,
00:20:16.300 $100 plus to get
00:20:17.740 on this?
00:20:18.440 This is going
00:20:19.020 to be like
00:20:19.460 business people,
00:20:20.580 right?
00:20:20.880 So you have
00:20:21.320 taxpayers subsidizing
00:20:22.560 those folks
00:20:23.280 to take a high-speed
00:20:24.360 rail.
00:20:25.040 Like,
00:20:25.380 no thank you.
00:20:26.700 And I'm glad
00:20:27.580 you brought up
00:20:28.160 Via Rail
00:20:28.560 because it just
00:20:29.520 brings into picture
00:20:30.700 the pure
00:20:31.700 government incompetence.
00:20:33.740 Government
00:20:34.000 is not a business.
00:20:35.520 Government should
00:20:36.180 get out of the
00:20:36.860 business of business.
00:20:38.100 I mean,
00:20:38.340 come on,
00:20:38.940 we're already
00:20:39.440 losing hundreds
00:20:40.340 of millions
00:20:41.260 of dollars
00:20:42.120 every single year
00:20:43.420 failing to run
00:20:44.600 the current
00:20:45.040 government-trained
00:20:45.760 company that is
00:20:46.520 Via Rail.
00:20:46.980 In fact,
00:20:47.920 over the last
00:20:48.460 five years,
00:20:49.620 the government
00:20:50.140 taxpayers have
00:20:51.520 had to dump
00:20:52.120 $1.8 billion
00:20:53.480 to Via Rail
00:20:54.720 just to cover
00:20:55.800 its operating
00:20:56.560 losses,
00:20:57.400 right?
00:20:57.660 So look at
00:20:58.380 this high-speed
00:20:58.980 rail boondoggle,
00:21:00.040 right?
00:21:00.200 About $4 billion
00:21:01.140 just for planning.
00:21:02.680 The total cost
00:21:03.660 could be as much
00:21:04.480 as $80 billion.
00:21:05.960 Well,
00:21:06.580 I mean,
00:21:07.040 if you look
00:21:07.500 at recent history
00:21:08.500 and you look
00:21:09.060 at the absolute
00:21:10.100 shenanigans
00:21:10.800 going at Via Rail,
00:21:12.120 who's to say
00:21:12.720 the cost isn't
00:21:13.380 going to be
00:21:13.620 even higher than
00:21:14.260 that?
00:21:14.620 Yeah.
00:21:15.820 And we're so
00:21:17.780 broken right now
00:21:18.620 financially.
00:21:19.720 And I'm thinking
00:21:20.320 that this would
00:21:21.020 crowd out Air Canada,
00:21:22.340 Porter,
00:21:23.160 any airlines,
00:21:24.080 any bus companies
00:21:24.880 right now.
00:21:25.780 It would drive them
00:21:28.160 out of business.
00:21:30.180 It's just a bizarre...
00:21:32.820 I mean,
00:21:33.220 Justin Trudeau
00:21:33.900 doesn't think
00:21:34.360 there's a business
00:21:34.920 case for private
00:21:36.100 sector companies
00:21:37.000 to sell liquefied
00:21:38.100 natural gas
00:21:38.840 to our allies
00:21:39.760 like Japan.
00:21:40.420 but apparently
00:21:42.080 he's such a
00:21:42.720 wonderful entrepreneur
00:21:43.860 and train tycoon
00:21:45.540 that he says
00:21:46.960 this is the future
00:21:47.880 monorail.
00:21:48.480 It's unbelievable
00:21:49.040 but completely
00:21:50.100 believable.
00:21:51.000 Hey,
00:21:51.160 while I got you,
00:21:51.760 I want to talk
00:21:52.220 about...
00:21:53.160 I mean,
00:21:53.380 there's just
00:21:53.800 little implosions
00:21:54.820 every day
00:21:55.360 from this
00:21:55.880 illegitimate government.
00:21:56.920 I say illegitimate
00:21:57.720 because it has no mandate
00:21:58.800 because it's hiding
00:21:59.940 from a non-confidence vote.
00:22:01.840 Trudeau is the
00:22:02.580 lamest of lame ducks
00:22:03.620 but let me read
00:22:04.440 from your latest
00:22:05.200 press release,
00:22:05.780 Franco.
00:22:07.100 It's by our friend
00:22:07.900 Chris Sims
00:22:08.480 who works with you.
00:22:09.200 She's wonderful.
00:22:10.400 CBC doesn't deserve
00:22:12.140 more money from taxpayers.
00:22:13.760 Let me just read
00:22:14.200 the headline.
00:22:15.860 Minister recommends
00:22:16.740 nearly doubling
00:22:17.840 CBC funding
00:22:19.180 and reducing
00:22:20.340 CBC accountability.
00:22:22.240 Now,
00:22:22.420 this is where
00:22:22.900 it gets scary.
00:22:24.220 It's one thing
00:22:24.860 to slosh more money
00:22:26.120 at them
00:22:26.560 but you guys
00:22:27.780 have decoded
00:22:28.720 that they're doing it
00:22:29.820 in a way
00:22:30.160 to make it hard
00:22:31.180 for a future
00:22:32.320 poly of government
00:22:33.160 if he were to win
00:22:34.160 to claw this back.
00:22:35.540 Tell me about that.
00:22:37.100 CBC does not belong
00:22:38.720 to the Liberals.
00:22:39.740 It does not belong
00:22:40.900 to the Conservatives
00:22:41.740 and it does not belong
00:22:43.200 to any other
00:22:43.840 political parties.
00:22:45.620 It belongs
00:22:46.360 to the Canadian people
00:22:47.460 and this is why
00:22:49.560 to be able to give
00:22:50.280 CBC Radio-Canada
00:22:51.300 the means
00:22:51.800 to fulfill its mandate,
00:22:53.040 I propose
00:22:54.040 that it be financed
00:22:55.280 directly
00:22:55.800 in the legislation
00:22:57.300 instead of in the budget
00:22:58.540 through statutory appropriation.
00:23:01.200 statutory appropriation
00:23:04.500 should be based
00:23:05.200 on the demographic reality
00:23:07.560 and I mean by that
00:23:09.260 a per capita funding
00:23:10.400 based formula.
00:23:12.900 The average funding
00:23:13.720 for a public broadcaster
00:23:14.880 in a G7 country
00:23:15.980 is $62 per person
00:23:18.400 per year.
00:23:19.660 In Canada,
00:23:20.420 we're second to last
00:23:21.380 with $33 per year
00:23:23.860 per person.
00:23:24.640 We're closer
00:23:25.400 to the United States
00:23:26.460 than to any other country
00:23:27.700 of the G7 country
00:23:28.780 and I don't think
00:23:30.080 that we want
00:23:31.280 the United States
00:23:32.100 to be our reference.
00:23:33.640 I think we need
00:23:34.340 to aim closer
00:23:35.100 to the middle ground
00:23:35.980 which is $62
00:23:36.800 per year
00:23:37.600 per person.
00:23:39.680 With predictable,
00:23:40.760 stable funding
00:23:41.400 based on a
00:23:42.040 per capita formula,
00:23:43.480 there's no reason
00:23:44.240 why people would need
00:23:45.400 to pay
00:23:45.780 to be subscribed
00:23:46.600 to one or the other
00:23:47.660 platforms
00:23:48.300 of the CBC
00:23:49.980 and this is why
00:23:51.420 that with this change
00:23:53.200 in how the public broadcaster
00:23:55.820 is being financially supported,
00:23:57.880 I'm also proposing
00:23:58.860 that all platforms
00:24:00.020 be made free
00:24:02.060 and accessible
00:24:02.620 to all Canadians.
00:24:03.860 We shouldn't have
00:24:04.600 to pay twice
00:24:05.300 for the service.
00:24:08.260 The advertising
00:24:09.260 or the search
00:24:12.000 for advertising revenue
00:24:13.260 is incompatible
00:24:14.780 with the information mission
00:24:16.620 of the CBC Radio Canada
00:24:18.240 and by giving it
00:24:20.160 sustainable
00:24:21.020 and predictable
00:24:21.920 public funding,
00:24:23.720 I'm proposing
00:24:24.280 that there is
00:24:26.640 no longer
00:24:27.060 any advertisement
00:24:27.800 on anything
00:24:28.560 related to news
00:24:29.540 or public affairs
00:24:30.760 on any of the platforms
00:24:32.260 of the CBC
00:24:33.040 whether it's television,
00:24:34.480 radio
00:24:34.740 or online platforms.
00:24:36.780 This would also
00:24:37.600 free up advertisement
00:24:38.620 dollars
00:24:40.100 for the private sector.
00:24:42.880 Well,
00:24:43.440 what they're really doing
00:24:44.220 is ducking accountability,
00:24:45.800 right?
00:24:46.080 So,
00:24:46.320 how the government
00:24:47.060 essentially
00:24:48.060 funds these
00:24:48.800 different crown corporations
00:24:49.940 is you have
00:24:50.980 a normal budget process,
00:24:52.160 right?
00:24:52.460 You budget
00:24:53.080 and then politicians
00:24:54.200 or elected representatives
00:24:55.500 are supposed to vote
00:24:56.800 yay or nay,
00:24:57.740 right?
00:24:58.120 That's why we pay
00:24:59.220 these politicians
00:25:00.040 so much money,
00:25:01.420 too much money
00:25:02.360 to vote yes
00:25:04.040 or no on spending.
00:25:05.160 But what the minister
00:25:05.960 is proposing
00:25:06.640 is to remove
00:25:07.620 the CBC's funding
00:25:08.780 from the normal budget process
00:25:10.400 to put it into law
00:25:11.860 and essentially
00:25:12.640 just guarantee
00:25:13.520 the CBC
00:25:14.220 gets a certain amount
00:25:15.140 of funding
00:25:15.600 every single year,
00:25:17.860 okay?
00:25:18.460 Completely ducking
00:25:19.480 accountability.
00:25:20.580 It's really quite gross.
00:25:22.680 Now,
00:25:23.160 the other part
00:25:23.940 that really makes
00:25:24.640 my stomach turn
00:25:25.600 is look,
00:25:26.360 we just had
00:25:27.340 what,
00:25:27.660 a year,
00:25:28.260 year and a half,
00:25:28.920 two years
00:25:29.420 of huge criticism,
00:25:31.340 public criticism
00:25:32.240 about the CBC's
00:25:33.300 are wasting our money
00:25:34.280 and did the government,
00:25:35.600 did the minister listen?
00:25:36.840 No.
00:25:37.520 What did the government
00:25:38.280 come up with?
00:25:39.140 Well,
00:25:39.620 let's nearly double
00:25:40.720 the cost
00:25:41.620 of the CBC
00:25:42.340 to taxpayers,
00:25:43.280 okay?
00:25:43.760 What Minister
00:25:44.940 St. Aug
00:25:46.520 is recommending here
00:25:48.380 would nearly double
00:25:49.540 the cost
00:25:50.100 of the CBC
00:25:50.800 to about
00:25:51.660 two and a half
00:25:52.500 billion dollars
00:25:53.440 every single year.
00:25:55.400 Two and a half
00:25:55.900 billion bucks
00:25:56.720 a year.
00:25:57.780 Ezra,
00:25:58.260 let's just put that
00:25:59.020 into perspective,
00:25:59.780 okay?
00:26:00.160 That money
00:26:00.840 would cover
00:26:01.720 the annual grocery bill
00:26:03.400 for like
00:26:04.020 150,000
00:26:05.500 Canadian families.
00:26:07.040 Yeah.
00:26:07.580 You know,
00:26:08.340 I'm so jealous
00:26:09.020 of this Doge
00:26:10.220 Department of
00:26:11.340 Government Efficiency
00:26:12.280 that Elon Musk
00:26:13.580 and his group
00:26:14.720 of young geniuses,
00:26:16.800 as Trump calls them,
00:26:17.820 are doing.
00:26:18.380 I mean,
00:26:18.580 every day
00:26:19.140 they're finding
00:26:19.640 billions of dollars
00:26:20.740 in waste
00:26:21.280 and just cutting it
00:26:22.680 with the full support
00:26:23.740 of the president.
00:26:24.720 I'm watching that
00:26:25.860 down in the States.
00:26:27.500 I'm watching
00:26:28.180 the private sector
00:26:29.120 investment,
00:26:30.140 like the head
00:26:30.640 of SoftBank
00:26:31.540 or the Japanese
00:26:32.320 Prime Minister
00:26:32.860 saying they're
00:26:34.180 going to invest
00:26:34.800 hundreds of billions,
00:26:36.320 even a trillion
00:26:37.040 dollars in America
00:26:38.080 Trump's not
00:26:39.900 using taxpayers'
00:26:41.280 money for these
00:26:42.120 investments.
00:26:42.960 Private companies
00:26:43.720 and foreigners
00:26:44.320 are doing it.
00:26:45.740 He's cutting tax.
00:26:46.820 We are doing
00:26:47.240 the exact opposite
00:26:48.080 in the two stories
00:26:48.900 we've talked about today.
00:26:50.360 Trudeau is,
00:26:51.020 quote,
00:26:51.100 investing our taxpayers'
00:26:53.200 money.
00:26:53.280 That's not an investment.
00:26:54.760 And then he's
00:26:55.700 spending it on the CBC.
00:26:57.040 Let me play a clip
00:26:58.060 for you of Pascal St.
00:26:59.100 Ange
00:26:59.400 saying what this
00:27:00.720 is really about,
00:27:01.540 Franco.
00:27:01.760 It's not about journalism.
00:27:03.700 It's about propaganda.
00:27:04.860 Here she is saying
00:27:05.620 it's about fighting,
00:27:07.300 quote,
00:27:08.260 disinformation.
00:27:09.280 Take a look.
00:27:10.500 Enshrined in the law.
00:27:12.180 Enshrined in law,
00:27:13.100 the role that
00:27:13.540 CBC Radio Canada
00:27:14.240 plays in the fight
00:27:15.180 against disinformation
00:27:16.860 to support the public,
00:27:18.160 especially in the
00:27:18.920 current context.
00:27:20.060 And this refers
00:27:20.820 directly to some
00:27:22.000 of the recommendations
00:27:22.740 that were made
00:27:23.580 by the Foreign
00:27:26.280 Interference Commission,
00:27:28.000 which repeated
00:27:29.440 how important it is
00:27:30.580 that Canadians
00:27:31.280 can rely on
00:27:32.100 Canadian sources
00:27:32.840 of information
00:27:33.600 to be more resilient
00:27:34.780 and to understand
00:27:36.040 the patterns
00:27:36.620 that the other
00:27:37.780 countries use
00:27:38.540 to disseminate
00:27:40.440 propaganda
00:27:41.480 or disinformation
00:27:42.380 to influence
00:27:43.400 how we live together
00:27:44.860 in our political
00:27:45.800 context.
00:27:47.800 And this is why
00:27:48.460 I propose to anchor
00:27:49.760 in CBC Radio Canada's
00:27:51.800 mandate its role
00:27:52.740 in helping
00:27:54.720 the Canadian population
00:27:56.740 fight against
00:27:58.260 disinformation
00:27:58.820 and understand
00:27:59.820 fact-based information.
00:28:02.000 These are the worst
00:28:03.360 of days.
00:28:04.100 You'd think there
00:28:04.940 would be some
00:28:05.760 sense of,
00:28:07.480 you know,
00:28:08.900 some self-consciousness
00:28:10.460 by the government
00:28:11.140 that they have
00:28:12.780 no more democratic
00:28:13.580 mandates,
00:28:14.500 they're on borrowed
00:28:15.320 time,
00:28:16.280 but they're just,
00:28:17.540 it's sort of like
00:28:18.180 they know the party
00:28:19.120 is over at midnight
00:28:20.740 and they're just
00:28:21.540 going around drinking
00:28:22.820 every bottle of booze,
00:28:24.100 racking up the credit
00:28:24.900 card,
00:28:25.620 trashing the house.
00:28:26.420 They know the party's
00:28:27.260 going to be over
00:28:27.980 extremely soon,
00:28:29.380 and instead of showing
00:28:30.440 any sense of
00:28:31.600 responsibility,
00:28:33.020 they're just saying
00:28:33.560 have a total,
00:28:34.860 total blowout,
00:28:36.180 trash the hotel room
00:28:37.300 like a rock star,
00:28:38.400 and leave the bill
00:28:39.340 for someone else.
00:28:40.020 It really feels
00:28:41.060 like the last days
00:28:42.480 of Rome,
00:28:43.420 and this is Caligula
00:28:44.800 or Nero or something.
00:28:47.380 Well, you know,
00:28:48.280 the good news,
00:28:49.000 though,
00:28:49.280 is that I think
00:28:49.900 Canadians are just
00:28:51.160 sick and tired,
00:28:52.180 right?
00:28:52.520 Sick and tired
00:28:53.180 of the tax hikes,
00:28:54.080 sick and tired
00:28:54.560 of the government
00:28:54.960 wasting our money.
00:28:56.140 I mean, look,
00:28:56.980 another thing that
00:28:57.800 the CBC today,
00:28:59.040 sorry,
00:28:59.440 the minister,
00:29:00.040 I should say,
00:29:00.740 didn't even mention
00:29:01.480 was the CBC bonuses,
00:29:03.540 right?
00:29:04.100 Almost like everyone
00:29:05.320 in the House of Commons
00:29:06.460 agrees that the CBC bonuses
00:29:08.660 are so out of hand.
00:29:10.820 In fact,
00:29:11.260 70% of Canadians
00:29:12.520 disagree with the CBC's
00:29:14.320 taxpayer-funded bonuses,
00:29:15.880 and yet,
00:29:16.620 not a mention of it.
00:29:17.980 Like,
00:29:18.340 this is what is getting
00:29:19.260 so crazy,
00:29:20.260 you know what I mean?
00:29:20.920 And just to kind of
00:29:21.960 go back to what's going
00:29:22.960 on with Canada
00:29:23.740 and the United States,
00:29:24.680 look,
00:29:25.400 I think people
00:29:26.120 should be worried
00:29:27.100 of a potential
00:29:28.320 tariff war,
00:29:29.040 okay?
00:29:29.360 Tariffs are just taxes.
00:29:31.100 But guess what?
00:29:32.020 While Mr. Trump
00:29:32.800 is musing about
00:29:33.660 a 25% tariff,
00:29:36.260 Trudeau and the government
00:29:37.460 is still set to increase
00:29:39.180 the carbon tax
00:29:40.040 on Canadians
00:29:40.800 by nearly 20%
00:29:42.300 on April 1.
00:29:43.260 Great point.
00:29:43.920 He's going to do
00:29:44.740 more damage
00:29:45.520 on April 1st
00:29:46.460 than Trump's threats
00:29:47.880 would do
00:29:48.700 if he followed through
00:29:49.500 with them.
00:29:49.740 You're exactly right.
00:29:50.380 Well, Franco,
00:29:50.920 let me close,
00:29:51.580 as I said before,
00:29:52.220 when we first talked
00:29:53.100 about Doge,
00:29:53.800 if, God willing,
00:29:55.100 there's a change
00:29:55.640 in government
00:29:56.020 later this year.
00:29:57.580 I certainly hope
00:29:58.800 that our country
00:30:00.200 engages in the same
00:30:01.340 kind of deep
00:30:02.480 forensic accountability
00:30:04.380 on all our spending
00:30:06.320 and it's being,
00:30:07.560 in the States,
00:30:08.040 it's being led
00:30:08.400 by Elon Musk
00:30:09.180 who I don't think
00:30:10.240 knows government
00:30:10.920 that well
00:30:11.400 but he knows tech
00:30:12.240 and systems
00:30:13.020 and he's got
00:30:14.020 a great team
00:30:14.640 of activists.
00:30:16.020 And I've been trying
00:30:16.740 to think,
00:30:17.140 who would that be
00:30:18.020 in Canada?
00:30:18.780 Do we have
00:30:19.300 an Elon Musk
00:30:20.100 type character?
00:30:21.180 I don't think we do
00:30:22.160 but what we do have
00:30:23.880 are a group
00:30:24.600 of independent,
00:30:25.620 non-partisan people
00:30:26.760 who do not take
00:30:27.620 government money
00:30:28.280 and whose entire
00:30:29.280 raison d'etre
00:30:29.940 is finding waste
00:30:30.820 and they happen
00:30:31.820 to be called
00:30:32.220 the Canadian
00:30:32.680 Taxpayers Federation.
00:30:34.000 I think I'm looking
00:30:35.160 at someone
00:30:36.740 who,
00:30:37.540 God willing,
00:30:38.580 would be invited
00:30:39.380 to do a short
00:30:40.180 tour of duty,
00:30:41.140 not to join the government
00:30:42.100 because I know
00:30:42.960 you couldn't stand
00:30:43.860 for that,
00:30:44.220 that would be like
00:30:44.700 oil and water,
00:30:45.980 but a one-year
00:30:47.160 tour of duty
00:30:47.880 to dive deep
00:30:49.080 into the dungeons
00:30:50.040 of government,
00:30:51.380 into the bowels
00:30:52.180 of government,
00:30:52.720 the stalactites
00:30:53.560 and the stalagmites
00:30:54.480 and the caves
00:30:55.060 of government
00:30:55.580 and cut billions
00:30:57.760 of dollars of spending
00:30:58.840 and you would be left
00:31:00.020 with the thanks
00:31:00.580 of a grateful nation.
00:31:01.860 Franco,
00:31:02.460 you're the man.
00:31:05.040 Well,
00:31:05.500 you know what,
00:31:05.920 Ezra?
00:31:06.360 The homework is done.
00:31:07.740 Now we just need
00:31:08.440 to find some politicians
00:31:09.460 with the will
00:31:10.160 and spine
00:31:11.020 to do the right thing
00:31:11.960 and cut,
00:31:12.840 cut,
00:31:13.060 cut.
00:31:13.680 Yeah,
00:31:13.940 from your mouth
00:31:14.400 to God's ears.
00:31:15.000 Franco Tarzano,
00:31:15.700 one of the good guys,
00:31:16.760 he's the boss
00:31:17.280 of the Canadian
00:31:17.780 Taxpayers Federation.
00:31:18.860 Keep up the great work,
00:31:19.600 my friend.
00:31:21.040 Thanks, Ezra.
00:31:21.820 All right.
00:31:22.240 You know,
00:31:22.460 I'm serious
00:31:22.960 that he should be
00:31:23.600 appointed to Doge
00:31:24.780 in Canada.
00:31:25.520 I wouldn't trust
00:31:26.320 many people for that
00:31:27.400 because you need
00:31:28.040 to be nonpartisan
00:31:28.940 and you need
00:31:29.780 to have a nose
00:31:30.680 for finding ways.
00:31:31.660 He really is
00:31:32.340 a top pick for me.
00:31:34.300 Stay with us.
00:31:35.140 More ahead.
00:31:47.280 Hey,
00:31:47.680 welcome back.
00:31:48.260 Your letters to me
00:31:49.120 on the United Kingdom.
00:31:51.040 Cheryl Otterbein says,
00:31:53.040 glad to hear
00:31:53.720 there's ARC
00:31:54.900 to battle the WEF.
00:31:57.600 Yeah,
00:31:58.100 I mean,
00:31:58.580 there were about
00:31:59.120 4,000 people
00:32:00.180 at Jordan Peterson's
00:32:01.320 get-together.
00:32:01.860 It's not just
00:32:02.200 Jordan Peterson.
00:32:02.820 There's a lot of thinkers
00:32:04.040 on the freedom
00:32:04.800 side of things.
00:32:07.180 As someone who's
00:32:08.100 attended both
00:32:08.820 the WEF,
00:32:09.780 at least on the outside,
00:32:11.040 and ARC,
00:32:11.940 I think the number
00:32:12.660 one difference is
00:32:13.700 ARC is so
00:32:14.960 idea-centric
00:32:16.880 and even,
00:32:17.740 I'd say even
00:32:18.140 a little academic,
00:32:19.320 whereas the
00:32:20.220 World Economic Forum
00:32:21.080 is extremely corporate.
00:32:22.820 It's all about
00:32:23.520 sponsorships
00:32:24.300 and big money.
00:32:25.680 It's totally
00:32:26.340 being captured that way,
00:32:27.360 which is how
00:32:27.760 Klaus Schwab likes it.
00:32:28.700 He's a billionaire.
00:32:30.060 I hear he grosses
00:32:31.940 $300 million
00:32:32.700 every year
00:32:33.640 at that conference.
00:32:35.640 Someone called
00:32:36.120 Canada First says,
00:32:37.420 I don't want to hear
00:32:37.960 from Nigel
00:32:38.600 until Tommy is free.
00:32:40.320 I'll be waiting
00:32:40.820 for orders from Tommy.
00:32:42.660 You know,
00:32:43.720 just today,
00:32:44.580 I saw an interesting
00:32:45.880 clip from Vicky Richter,
00:32:47.580 who works for Urban Scoop,
00:32:48.900 that's Tommy's website,
00:32:51.200 who actually
00:32:52.220 buttonholed Nigel Farage
00:32:53.720 for about a minute
00:32:55.640 in,
00:32:56.460 I think it was in Washington.
00:32:57.780 Here,
00:32:57.960 take a look at this.
00:32:59.500 Hello, Mr. Farage.
00:33:00.780 Mr. Farage,
00:33:01.500 I'm from the UK.
00:33:02.760 Please.
00:33:03.940 Thank you so much.
00:33:05.380 Thank you.
00:33:06.180 Hey, Mr. Farage.
00:33:07.320 It's always an honor
00:33:08.240 to see you.
00:33:10.580 If I see it,
00:33:12.340 I might want it,
00:33:13.140 what can I do?
00:33:13.640 Thank you so much.
00:33:14.720 Mr. Farage,
00:33:15.660 I'm from the UK.
00:33:16.860 Hello,
00:33:17.060 I have a question for you.
00:33:18.720 Rupert Lowe says,
00:33:20.540 you don't have to hate
00:33:22.140 Tommy Robinson
00:33:22.800 because he's exposing
00:33:25.100 a lot of grooming gangs.
00:33:26.200 What's your point on that?
00:33:27.780 Because you question
00:33:28.980 sometimes his criminal record
00:33:31.060 on TV.
00:33:32.400 Well,
00:33:32.520 he's got a very long
00:33:33.120 criminal record.
00:33:34.020 I don't hate him.
00:33:35.240 And by the way,
00:33:35.820 he shouldn't be,
00:33:36.480 whatever I think of him,
00:33:37.520 he shouldn't be
00:33:37.980 in solitary confinement.
00:33:38.880 I hear he's in
00:33:39.820 very bad conditions
00:33:40.660 and that's not right.
00:33:42.280 Yeah,
00:33:42.400 he doesn't,
00:33:42.860 he's allowed to see
00:33:43.400 his ex-wife.
00:33:44.400 Yeah,
00:33:44.900 that's not right.
00:33:46.120 Thank you.
00:33:47.000 I thought that was
00:33:47.380 interesting,
00:33:47.940 a tiny bit of progress.
00:33:50.460 Joe King says,
00:33:52.580 Badenowk,
00:33:53.140 that's the conservative
00:33:53.860 leader,
00:33:54.500 is no solution
00:33:55.340 to anything.
00:33:56.340 She still hasn't
00:33:56.940 realized the Ukraine
00:33:57.740 war is an American war.
00:33:59.440 Russia was just
00:34:00.060 dragged in by the US
00:34:00.980 greed for its
00:34:01.640 rare earth resources.
00:34:03.140 So much political
00:34:03.880 ignorance and denial,
00:34:05.400 these people
00:34:05.840 make me vomit.
00:34:06.580 I'm not sure,
00:34:10.360 I mean,
00:34:10.560 there's different
00:34:11.020 points of view
00:34:11.560 about what the
00:34:12.020 cause of the war
00:34:13.140 is.
00:34:14.460 But what's
00:34:15.340 interesting to me
00:34:16.040 is that in the
00:34:16.580 last week or so,
00:34:17.320 Donald Trump
00:34:17.760 has essentially
00:34:18.300 said to
00:34:19.360 the UK,
00:34:21.820 but much more so
00:34:22.520 to smaller
00:34:23.500 European powers
00:34:24.760 who are very
00:34:25.420 much for keeping
00:34:26.620 the fight going,
00:34:27.480 he basically said,
00:34:29.060 you and what army?
00:34:32.060 By which I mean,
00:34:34.540 you know,
00:34:34.840 how do you win
00:34:37.300 without the United
00:34:38.180 States?
00:34:38.720 You can be very
00:34:39.340 bellicose and call
00:34:40.640 for others to go
00:34:41.600 and fight,
00:34:42.160 but how does that
00:34:43.820 work when you're
00:34:44.320 fighting against
00:34:44.880 Russia,
00:34:45.400 a nuclear armed
00:34:46.180 power with a
00:34:47.200 massive conventional
00:34:48.260 military?
00:34:49.120 I think Trump,
00:34:50.480 you can agree with
00:34:51.140 him on this or
00:34:51.680 not,
00:34:52.720 but he's basically,
00:34:54.020 I think,
00:34:54.220 calling the bluff
00:34:54.960 of European leaders
00:34:56.340 who know they want
00:34:57.140 to fight but don't
00:34:58.140 really know how
00:34:59.260 that's going to
00:34:59.900 work other than
00:35:00.460 America will do it
00:35:01.320 perhaps.
00:35:01.720 Well,
00:35:02.580 that's today's
00:35:03.240 show.
00:35:04.280 Until next time,
