00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. It's the anniversary of the horrific terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7th.
00:00:05.460 I'll take you through what happened on that day quickly, but more to focus what's happening here
00:00:09.980 in Canada as the Islamists have made this a frontline in that war. That's ahead. But first,
00:00:15.660 let me invite you to become a subscriber to Rebel News Plus. That's the video version of this
00:00:19.400 podcast. Just go to rebelnewsplus.com, click subscribe. It's eight bucks a month. I know
00:00:24.600 that doesn't sound like a lot of money to you, but boy, it adds up for us. It really helps us
00:00:28.560 pay the bills, which we need because you know we don't get any money from Trudeau,
00:00:32.440 and it shows. All right, here's today's podcast.
00:00:50.820 It's been one year since the horrific Hamas terrorist attack. Where do we stand? It's October 7th,
00:00:57.280 and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:00:59.020 You're fighting for freedom!
00:01:02.000 Shame on you, you censorious bug!
00:01:13.600 I remember exactly where I was and what I first saw of the horrific terrorist attack on southern
00:01:20.280 Israel on October 7th last year. I was actually out with my family, and I just saw a tweet on my phone
00:01:26.900 by the supreme leader of Iran. Khamenei is his name, and it was a video, this one, and it said,
00:01:34.940 God willing, the cancer of the usurper Zionist regime will be eradicated at the hands of the
00:01:41.140 Palestinian people and the resistant forces throughout the region. Al-Aqsa storm. Now, I didn't,
00:01:47.980 I just looked at it briefly. I saw these people running in the desert. I didn't understand what I was
00:01:53.900 looking at. I didn't understand what it showed. Those were teenagers at a dance party in the desert
00:02:01.640 running. They were being hunted and murdered by terrorists, boys and girls dancing. I didn't
00:02:09.380 understand the tweet. I just glanced at it. I ignored it, and then I saw the horrific massacre,
00:02:15.760 the worst massacre of Jews since the Nazis in the Holocaust, but with an important difference.
00:02:21.640 The Nazis actually hid their crimes. They created propaganda videos suggesting that the concentration
00:02:29.340 camps weren't actually death camps. Hamas live-streamed theirs. They actually, when they
00:02:36.700 were committing the massacres, they turned on the family Facebook webcam and broadcast the massacre of
00:02:44.620 families to those families' friends on Facebook. They live-streamed it. They were delighted,
00:02:51.100 and they wanted to boast of what they were doing. And by the way, it wasn't just Hamas. It was civilians
00:02:57.980 from Gaza who accompanied them as part of the massacre. It was a pogrom of the worst variety.
00:03:06.280 Let me show you a series of tweets of the worst of it. Now, I want to tell you what you're about to see
00:03:10.680 is so atrocious, I can barely stand them myself. So if you have a weak stomach, turn away for the next
00:03:17.560 minute. This is a list of some of the atrocities compiled by the Twitter account Hamas Atrocities.
00:03:25.800 You can see Israeli civilians, men, women, children, babies, murdered. Gagged and tied and then murdered.
00:03:35.640 Burned alive. Women kidnapped for rape. Civilians who came in from Gaza for the lark. They weren't
00:03:45.820 officially terrorists. They just wanted to be part of the murder and rape. A baby murdered in its crib.
00:03:53.980 Not just Jews, mainly Jews, but anyone they found, including foreign workers. The sexual perversity
00:04:00.940 of the attackers. It's like when the Islamic State terrorists attacked the music hall in Paris called
00:04:09.800 the Bataclan. They cut off the genitals of the men and stuffed them in their mouths in the Bataclan.
00:04:16.200 It was so horrific. The images from inside that Paris music hall were banned. There's something perverse
00:04:23.480 and horrific about it, but where does it come from? It comes from the concept of rape slaves, which is in
00:04:30.360 the Koran. In a war, you can take women, enemy women, as your rape slave. And they do. And they did. And they are.
00:04:41.320 What exactly is Gaza, the place from which this terrorist attack came? Gaza has not had a single
00:04:49.000 Jew in it since 2005. Israel used to run it as a kind of territory, but then Israel pulled out, pulled out
00:04:58.280 its military. And there were Israeli citizens there, mainly farmers. Every one of them was forcibly removed.
00:05:05.320 They were pulled out of Gaza. And in 2005, it was given to the Palestinians. There have been no Israeli
00:05:11.720 soldiers from 2005 until last year. They had one election and Hamas won. And then they immediately
00:05:19.960 made sure there were never any more elections. It's been a Hamas dictatorship. Sharia law is their
00:05:25.400 constitution. But I think terrorism is really more their aim. The Hamas charter, which includes
00:05:32.520 the call to kill Jews. Who has funded Gaza? Well, they are the most funded people in the world.
00:05:42.040 No one in Gaza has been a refugee in more than 75 years. That's when the state of Israel was created.
00:05:48.040 Gaza is its own place. But the UN Relief Works Agency in the name of refugees has poured hundreds
00:05:53.880 of millions of dollars in there, much of it coming from Canada. These terrorists have been funded by
00:05:59.560 Canada. We were complicit to it. We actually ramped up our spending on them after October 7th. When I say
00:06:07.000 we, you and I paid for it, but it was Trudeau's decision. Hundreds of staff at the UN Relief Works Agency,
00:06:15.080 hundreds of UN staff were involved in this terrorist attack on Israel. UN schools contained portals to
00:06:25.240 the underground tunnels. Teachers moonlighted as Hamas terrorists. It's extraordinary that we have
00:06:34.120 funded, we in the West have funded the terrorists. By the way, if you go to the great Arab cities, and there
00:06:40.520 are great Arab cities, Dubai, Abu Dhabi. You can see what Arabs can do in the 20th and 21st centuries.
00:06:50.360 You can see astounding architecture, the tallest building in the world in Dubai. You can see commerce,
00:06:57.000 prosperity, peace, and harmony. It's true there's a lot of expats in those places,
00:07:04.600 but the leaders and the citizens are Arab. And that's what Gaza could have been. It could have been
00:07:13.880 a glorious tourist destination in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. It could have been a gateway to
00:07:19.880 the Arab world between, a bridge between the Arab world and Israel and the West. In places like Abu Dhabi and
00:07:27.560 Dubai, there are no protests for Hamas. There are no terrorist marches. Those are banned. Gaza could have
00:07:36.680 been a Palestinian state had they wanted it to be. They could have been Dubai on the Mediterranean had
00:07:43.320 they wanted it. They had everything. There were no foreigners, no Jews there to get in the way. But
00:07:49.000 instead their dictators decided to make violence their project, not a state. They dug tunnels spending
00:07:58.120 billions of dollars. Nineteen years of hateful schooling teaching anti-Semitism. An entire
00:08:05.560 generation going through school learning that the Jews ought to be murdered. That's Canada's legacy,
00:08:13.080 actually. Harper ended funding those schools. Trudeau restarted it and then Ahmed Hassan ramped it up.
00:08:20.760 October 7th was a shocking day and I felt a stab in my heart as I saw the atrocious pogroms,
00:08:27.000 the mass rape and murder. I really felt like never again. The motto after the Holocaust had been,
00:08:32.760 well, had been proven that it was worthless and it was happening again. What's so astonishing to me is
00:08:38.760 that this is regarded by so many people as the greatest day for the Palestinian movement.
00:08:45.960 Not a day of independence. Not a day of achievement. Not a day of building the world's tallest tower or
00:08:51.640 a peace accord like the Abraham Accords. Not a day for that. A day of murder and rape and torture and
00:08:58.280 wildness was to this day considered the greatest day in the Palestinian calendar. I saw some people
00:09:05.960 compare it to a jailbreak, but Gaza was not in jail. All the prison guards, if you want to call them
00:09:12.680 that, left in 2005. Gaza could have been anything. It was independent. It had rivers of money flowing
00:09:19.080 into it, but they decided to turn it into a terror camp instead. There are literally dozens of Arab and
00:09:27.400 Muslim countries in the world, but there's a reason why not one of them will take Palestinian refugees.
00:09:33.880 They are so inculcated in hate and violence, they're not wanted in Dubai or Abu Dhabi or Saudi Arabia.
00:09:42.280 When Palestinians, including the terrorists, are allowed into other countries, Jordan, Syria,
00:09:47.800 Lebanon, they cause civil wars wherever they go. They really are the new Nazis, Hamas. Imagine who in the
00:09:56.120 West would support that and then who would support them coming into our country like Justin Trudeau.
00:10:01.160 Well, we know who would support it. Footage from the weekend in Toronto shows a shocking gathering,
00:10:09.240 thousands, possibly tens of thousands in Toronto, celebrating that darkest day,
00:10:14.760 celebrating the rape and murder. Take a look at this clip.
00:10:25.640 Similar crowds in Montreal.
00:10:55.720 As I speak, there are rallies across the country. My observation of the Canadian protests
00:11:02.760 are that they're mainly foreigners. Many of them let in in the last nine years by Trudeau.
00:11:07.720 My estimate is that 90% of the people at these hate marches, they're newcomers to Canada. You can
00:11:14.680 detect it in their thick accents. Many of them are not yet Canadian, but some of them are. With every
00:11:19.880 passing day, more of them are naturalized into citizens. They're organized and financed by foreign governments, like Iran.
00:11:27.560 That's not speculation. Global News reported there are 700 Iranian agents. It's also woke white Canadians,
00:11:36.520 Canadians though, anti-Semites like Fred Hahn, the president of the big CUPE union here in Ontario.
00:11:44.840 Universities are the worst because these woke ideas of oppressed and oppressor classes,
00:11:49.880 where any Jew is considered an oppressor and thus is fair game to be murdered and raped.
00:11:54.840 That's an idea only a PhD can be stupid enough to believe. Our universities are the worst and have
00:12:00.840 allowed hate camps to last for weeks or even months, but politicians are just as scared.
00:12:06.600 So we see the double standard of policing. There was one moment where an alleged Nazi flag was shown at
00:12:13.080 the trucker convoy. The only person who saw it was a prime minister's office photographer. No one else saw
00:12:18.440 it. It was only posed for that moment and we heard about it for months in the media. Actual Nazi flags are
00:12:26.280 frequent at these Hamas hate marches along with flags of banned terrorist groups. The media couldn't be less
00:12:33.400 interested and neither could the government. Some Canadians try and whitewash what's going on.
00:12:39.480 You know, not just Canadians. I don't know if you remember when I bumped into that code pink lady in
00:12:44.520 New York City a few weeks ago. I asked her, how can you support a movement with mottos like,
00:12:50.840 from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. And there is only one solution, intifada revolution.
00:12:57.560 That means exterminating every Jew between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, killing every Jew in
00:13:02.120 Israel. And the second one means a global pogrom. Intifada is an anti-Semitic riot. And I asked her
00:13:08.840 what it meant. And here's her bizarre answer. Just listen. What do you think about some of the mottos
00:13:15.000 I've heard chanted at Columbia and in Canada, from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.
00:13:21.640 What do you think of that chant? I think that is the dream that the Israelis will become Jewish
00:13:30.440 and practice their religion and that everyone in the land of Palestine will be free.
00:13:35.800 I don't think that's what it means. I think it means to remove the Jews from Israel.
00:13:40.360 I don't think that's what it means.
00:13:42.360 And how about, there is only one solution, intifada revolution. What do you think that means?
00:13:47.880 I don't know what intifada means. You don't know what intifada means? You're a peace activist.
00:13:52.520 You don't know what, you hear protests against Israel. I know what intifada means in the,
00:13:57.560 in the sense, in Islam. And what does it mean? It's an internal practice.
00:14:01.320 I don't think it is. It's, I think you're confusing that which she has.
00:14:04.920 Is that a Muslim here? No.
00:14:10.200 Okay. I'm, I don't, I, I'm more schooled and being Jewish than being Muslim. So I'm not,
00:14:15.480 I can't really talk about it. She knows that an intifada revolution,
00:14:19.880 she knows exactly what that means. She's not stupid. You can't be in the war movement and
00:14:24.600 anti-war movement and study Palestine without knowing what an intifada is.
00:14:28.520 She was lying because she didn't want to admit that it meant genocide against the Jews because
00:14:33.800 she still has some Western civilization in her blood. She, she knows how bad that would look.
00:14:39.640 So she's pretending not to know what that means. But that compunction does not exist with the 90%
00:14:45.080 of the protesters who know exactly what it means. They're only too happy to say so.
00:14:50.040 It's not just chants in the streets calling for death of the Jews. Terrorism has come here too.
00:14:55.160 Countless charges over the last year, the media doing their best to downplay it. Just the other day,
00:15:00.200 youth targeting a synagogue in Montreal with a terrorist attack, let out on bail.
00:15:05.720 Those accused terrorists let out on bail, unlike the truckers to Merrill each 49 days in prison.
00:15:14.200 Low level crimes all the time, trespass, uttering threats, vandalism, mischief. It happens so often,
00:15:22.680 it's changed the nature of the country. It's now the new normal. And so much of it being
00:15:29.400 masks. I hate the COVID times for normalizing masks. Masks, if you're not wearing a mask as a welder,
00:15:38.360 if you're wearing a mask and if it's not minus 40 degrees on it, if you're wearing a mask,
00:15:42.840 it's because you're hiding your identity like a bank robber. You know, there's a criminal code
00:15:47.320 provision that if you take part in a riot with a mask on, that's up to 10 years in prison. I think
00:15:52.520 we ought to bring that law back. And by back, I mean use it. It's already on the books.
00:15:57.560 It's not just the minor crimes of uttering threats, vandalism, trespass. It's the major crimes too,
00:16:02.280 shooting of schools, arson against synagogues and buses so frequently that it's not even reported
00:16:08.520 anymore. And when it is, authorities, even including some Jewish groups, trying to downplay it and say,
00:16:13.160 oh no, no, don't, don't you worry about it. You know, James Q. Wilson's broken windows theory,
00:16:20.040 it was about graffiti in New York, really. He said, graffiti isn't just a minor crime. It's a signal.
00:16:27.160 It teaches people. Graffiti signals that no one's watching, that no one cares. It signals what you can
00:16:35.520 get away with. It signals that this is a low trust, low security area, which is why James Q. Wilson's
00:16:42.120 theory that Rudy Giuliani used to clean up New York was, fight the small stuff, the turnstile
00:16:47.640 jumping in the subways, the jaywalking, the graffiti. Fight the small stuff so people know they're not
00:16:53.160 alone, they know that we're watching and we care, and you can't get away with it. We have allowed the
00:16:58.480 broken windows theory to happen, but not just with graffiti, with raw, vicious anti-Semitism. And
00:17:04.720 everyone knows that that's okay, and everyone sees it. That is the new normal. So don't you ever
00:17:09.880 allow a politician to say, this is not who we are. That's exactly who we are, because we've chosen
00:17:15.160 to be that. People are learning. People aren't stupid. They can see the new rules.
00:17:21.800 Just over the weekend, a parliamentary police officer told someone that he was not allowed to
00:17:27.320 go on Parliament Hill if he didn't support the Palestinians. Take a look at this.
00:17:32.600 You said he's not a supporter of Palestine. You are not permitted on. Yeah, that was before you
00:17:37.080 admitted being against this cause. You never said he was against this cause. Yeah, you did. You said
00:17:42.280 he's not a supporter of Palestine, and I recognize Palestine as a state. I didn't say that. Do we
00:17:47.160 want to rewind the video and see? Well, there's no audio in the video. Oh, well, that's unfortunate.
00:17:55.560 But no, so you said it to me. My colleague understood. My colleague understood. Yeah,
00:18:02.840 I said I didn't accept Palestine as a state. That doesn't mean I'm anti-Palestine people.
00:18:06.920 You don't recognize. And you said you don't support Palestine. I don't recognize Palestine as a state.
00:18:12.840 You said if he took the suit. You told me if I were to take the shirt off, I could come in.
00:18:19.320 Well, that was before you changed your story to I don't support Palestine and I don't recognize
00:18:25.080 Palestine as a state. Look, I'm not wearing an English inflammatory. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on.
00:18:31.720 Then at the end, right before I left, I said you are not to go on this side. Right?
00:18:36.360 No, you declare free speech, infringing free speech. Then after. No, I'm not.
00:18:42.520 Yeah, this is very tyrannical. You can believe that if you wish.
00:18:46.600 Oh, it is. Do you want to come up on part of the room? Other side.
00:18:49.160 So to be on this side, do you need to declare your support for Palestine? Is that a prerequisite
00:18:53.880 to be over here? Will you declare that you're against it? No, he never declared he was against.
00:19:00.360 No, he didn't. Did he? I'm sorry, he didn't. I mean, no, he didn't.
00:19:04.520 How are you?
00:19:06.520 I'm exposing the shirt and the whip.
00:19:08.520 But you're not saying he doesn't recognize Palestine as a state is not declaring he's against Palestine.
00:19:14.600 You guys are, this is a gross miscarriage of justice. Are you speaking for him?
00:19:19.080 I'm speaking for myself.
00:19:20.200 Okay, have I already said that you're not allowed? Have you said anything to you?
00:19:23.160 No, but I am. I'm calling over to you.
00:19:25.800 So this side is right now.
00:19:26.440 So a Jew can't go there, but the pro-Hamas thug's waving
00:19:56.280 Hezbollah flags there. Welcome. Police don't act.
00:20:00.120 And when I asked the Ontario Solicitor General about it, he made an excuse.
00:20:03.880 This is Solicitor General of Ontario, Kersner.
00:20:08.520 I said, why are you not using criminal code provisions on these protesters?
00:20:13.960 I'm not even talking about hate speech or censorship.
00:20:16.760 There's a law, for example, in the criminal code, you're not allowed to
00:20:19.800 beset a place of worship to disrupt it. That's a clear criminal code provision.
00:20:24.360 And synagogues have been surrounded and hounded. I asked him about that.
00:20:27.960 Listen to his pitiful non-answers.
00:20:29.960 How come there were no charges under Section 176 of the criminal code besetting a house of worship
00:20:36.520 when all those protesters were outside the Bayat Synagogue in Thornhill?
00:20:40.840 Well, that's a question that you're going to have to ask the York Regional Police or the Attorney General.
00:20:45.480 I'm here because I'm not going to see my community intimidated.
00:20:49.720 I speak out all the time in support of our Jewish community.
00:20:53.400 I'm not afraid to wear my kippah.
00:20:55.320 I'm not afraid to go to synagogue every Sabbath, every Shabbat.
00:20:59.880 And I'm going to do everything that I can to stand up
00:21:02.760 for our inherent right to live safely in our own homes and communities.
00:21:06.920 And I'm not going to stop.
00:21:08.200 Everything's short of prosecuting them though, right?
00:21:10.120 I mean, the U of T remains encamped with an illegal encampment.
00:21:14.760 You're very good on Twitter, but have you actually done any prosecutions?
00:21:18.440 Well, again, this is something that you have to speak to the Attorney General.
00:21:21.800 He's your colleague. You're in the government. You're on the inside.
00:21:25.240 No, what I can tell you is I'm working every day to ensure that our legislation,
00:21:30.680 that our regulations are adhered to.
00:21:33.240 I'm standing up with my community.
00:21:35.480 I've been 34 weeks almost every single week to the rally of Bathurst and Shepard
00:21:40.600 in support of remembering the hostages who have been held against their will,
00:21:45.400 in captivity, in Gaza, and it's not acceptable.
00:21:49.080 And that's exactly why.
00:21:51.400 It obviously is acceptable since you're not prosecuting it.
00:21:54.120 You have condoned it.
00:21:55.320 You've created a new normal where people can engage in low-level permanent anti-Semitic crimes,
00:22:02.360 assaults, threats, mischief, because you guys don't prosecute.
00:22:06.040 But there you are on Twitter, though, so congrats for that.
00:22:09.400 It's important that the Jewish community sees a person from their own community
00:22:13.880 in the Ontario legislature standing up against hate every single day,
00:22:18.280 who has the support of a Premier who has called it out.
00:22:21.720 Where are the other levels of government today who exercise the same voice
00:22:28.200 that Premier Ford does, that we will not accept anti-Semitism?
00:22:31.960 We have accepted it.
00:22:33.080 We have not.
00:22:34.040 Where's the prosecution?
00:22:36.040 Again, this is something you could ask Minister Verrani,
00:22:39.000 you can ask the Prime Minister.
00:22:41.000 The province, the province prosecutes.
00:22:43.400 The province prosecutes.
00:22:45.000 Better save your boss.
00:22:45.960 They won't arrest, charge, or prosecute real crimes,
00:22:48.920 but boy, they'll arrest our David Menzies,
00:22:51.560 the first time for asking questions of pro-Hamas marchers
00:22:58.440 who were blocking off a street.
00:22:59.960 Remember this?
00:23:00.520 Hey, guys, excuse me, we're trying to put him behind us.
00:23:16.040 Hey, hey, hey, that's my guy.
00:23:17.240 That's my guy.
00:23:17.800 Stop.
00:23:18.280 Stop.
00:23:18.760 Hey.
00:23:19.160 Stop.
00:23:19.720 Stop.
00:23:20.280 Stop.
00:23:20.760 Stop.
00:23:21.160 Stop.
00:23:21.720 Stop.
00:23:22.120 Stop.
00:23:22.760 Stop.
00:23:23.160 Stop.
00:23:23.720 Stop.
00:23:24.360 Stop.
00:23:24.840 Stop.
00:23:25.240 Stop.
00:23:25.640 Stop.
00:23:26.440 Stop.
00:23:26.840 Stop.
00:23:27.240 Stop.
00:23:27.640 Stop.
00:23:28.440 The second time, David was covering a pro-Israel march,
00:23:32.440 and the Hamas people showed up to counter-heckle the event.
00:23:37.000 David asked some questions.
00:23:38.600 He was arrested again.
00:23:39.880 Oh, no.
00:23:41.080 David, no.
00:23:42.360 Don't touch me.
00:23:43.080 Oh, no.
00:23:44.280 Hey, watch your hands.
00:23:45.560 We have your face.
00:23:46.360 Watch your hands.
00:23:47.160 Watch your hands.
00:23:47.560 Watch your hands.
00:24:02.200 Don't put your hands on me.
00:24:04.920 I just want to make sure.
00:24:05.320 Don't put your hands on me.
00:24:07.400 They can chant genocide in the street,
00:24:10.120 and I can't cover that.
00:24:11.320 Obey your oath, officer. Obey your oath.
00:24:16.320 Listen, if I'm on the other side, get your hands off.
00:24:20.320 Put your hand behind your back.
00:24:24.320 Put your hand behind your back.
00:24:27.320 We're going to lock you to the wagon, Mr. Manning.
00:24:31.320 And by the way, that praying in the streets business, there's almost a hundred mosques in Toronto when protesters, including many secular whites, get down on their knees to pray in the middle of a downtown street.
00:24:59.320 That's not about prayer. You can pray in a mosque.
00:25:02.320 If you must, you can pray in a park or, I suppose, or a sidewalk.
00:25:05.320 When you're praying to block a downtown, it's not about prayer.
00:25:08.320 It's about dominating the public square, so much for the separation of mosque and state.
00:25:14.320 So what do we do a year into this?
00:25:17.320 Well, I think the first rule of holes is to stop digging.
00:25:20.320 And I don't think there's any way around it.
00:25:23.320 That means stop immigration.
00:25:26.320 I'm sorry, you can't bring people here by the million from countries where anti-Semitism is normal and violence is normal, let alone where it's taught and promoted like Gaza.
00:25:37.320 You can't bring those people here and expect them to give up their deeply seated beliefs.
00:25:43.320 You have to stop immigration.
00:25:46.320 And I think you have to deport the foreign agitators.
00:25:50.320 I think you simply have to kick out those who have no tenure here.
00:25:54.320 And frankly, some of the others have to be denaturalized.
00:25:57.320 We don't need to destroy our freedom of speech.
00:26:00.320 I want to resist the urge to ban their words.
00:26:03.320 Because first of all, I think that would be used against us.
00:26:06.320 Look at Arif Varani and Ahmed Hassan and Leith Marouf and Birju Datani.
00:26:11.320 I've just listed four anti-Semites in the liberal government who would love to bring in hate speech rules.
00:26:16.320 They all believe in C63, the new Online Harms Act, because they want to silence people like you and me.
00:26:22.320 I'm not saying we get into the censorship business.
00:26:25.320 But how about the banning, uttering death threats, trespass, mischief, shooting, Molotov cocktails, blocking streets.
00:26:32.320 How about we start there?
00:26:33.320 And how about we start with the foreign nationals who have no right to be here,
00:26:37.320 who are privileged guests attending our universities and being temporary foreign workers.
00:26:42.320 If they go to a hate march, get out of this country and go back to where you came from and have your marches there.
00:26:48.320 By the way, it's folly of the official Jewish organizations to support C63.
00:26:54.320 Don't they see it'll be used against them?
00:26:57.320 I think the most important thing we have to do now is reclaim Canada.
00:27:02.320 No one ever asked us if we were okay importing these hateful thugs.
00:27:08.320 We are not okay with these hateful thugs.
00:27:11.320 Nobody wants them here, including most new immigrants.
00:27:16.320 Get out.
00:27:18.320 The only people who want those thugs here are those who benefit from them, their money and their votes.
00:27:24.320 We really have to turn things around quickly.
00:27:26.320 And when Pierre Polyam becomes prime minister, we have to keep on him.
00:27:32.320 He will be pressed and he will be tempted to allow them to stay.
00:27:37.320 And even more, we have to deport the promoters of violence.
00:27:41.320 And in the meantime, we have to support those premiers who are speaking out against immigration,
00:27:48.320 whether it's Francois Legault or Daniel Smith or exciting news out of Vancouver today from John Rustad, the conservative leader.
00:27:55.320 I'll tell you more about that in a moment.
00:27:58.320 Stay with us. More ahead.
00:27:59.320 Well, British Columbia has an election.
00:28:12.320 It's coming up so quickly, October 19th.
00:28:15.320 You know, there's a lot of things cooking in this country.
00:28:17.320 I think the federal politics seem to dominate.
00:28:19.320 Of course, foreign affairs are too.
00:28:21.320 But holy mackerel, are things exciting in B.C.
00:28:25.320 Would have asked me a year ago, I would have doubted it.
00:28:28.320 Joining us now to tell us all about it is our West Coast Bureau Chief, Drea Humphrey.
00:28:33.320 Drea, how are you doing out there?
00:28:35.320 I'm doing good.
00:28:36.320 I'm a little bit on pins and needles because you said it a year ago.
00:28:39.320 We wouldn't have guessed what we are seeing just ahead of the October 19th election.
00:28:44.320 But I'm excited.
00:28:45.320 I'm excited to see what's about to happen.
00:28:47.320 For folks outside B.C., just give us a 60 second explainer.
00:28:51.320 How did this B.C. Conservative Party, which was really just a relic of history.
00:28:56.320 How did we get so much life inside it?
00:28:59.320 They're neck and neck with the incumbent NDP in the polls.
00:29:02.320 Just give me a minute of history for our viewers who maybe weren't following it.
00:29:06.320 Well, absolutely.
00:29:08.320 So I believe like B.C. hasn't seen like an actual full conservative sort of leadership
00:29:14.320 since way back in the 1950s.
00:29:16.320 And the Conservative Party for many years has not, you know, ran a full slate of candidates
00:29:22.320 or anything like that.
00:29:23.320 They've kind of just ran a couple of people here.
00:29:25.320 I think the last time they had an official seat was about 12 or 13 years ago.
00:29:29.320 So it's really been a dormant party.
00:29:32.320 Rebel News actually was there.
00:29:34.320 I covered when they started to rebrand themselves.
00:29:38.320 They had some sort of new leadership back in 2022.
00:29:42.320 And I was there with my boots on the ground when they started to actually run, you know,
00:29:47.320 serious candidates they were trying in 2022 and by elections.
00:29:52.320 And, you know, it got to the point where when the former premier John Horgan was retired
00:30:00.320 from the Lankford riding, the candidate that the Conservative Party put there, his name
00:30:07.320 was Mike Harris.
00:30:08.320 He actually did pretty good.
00:30:09.320 He didn't win.
00:30:10.320 It's an NDP riding, but he did surprisingly well.
00:30:13.320 And I think that that was the first moment where it went, OK, well, you know, maybe something
00:30:17.320 is about to happen there where the real magic, I think, for the party began when it's the
00:30:25.320 BC United Party.
00:30:26.320 And if you've been following BC politics, you know that they actually quit the race.
00:30:30.320 So that was the official opposition party, which had over 20 seats in the legislature.
00:30:37.320 They actually canceled.
00:30:39.320 They started engaging in cancel culture due to pressure from the left.
00:30:43.320 And this was the only voting party that had a chance to ever form government, you know,
00:30:49.320 in the last election.
00:30:50.320 If you were a conservative, that was supposed to be the home for you.
00:30:53.320 And it was a coalition party where, you know, it might have some liberals and things like
00:30:57.320 that, too.
00:30:58.320 For them to start engaging in cancel culture against things like freedom of speech.
00:31:02.320 We saw that when they booted documentarian Aaron Gunn, who's actually running federally
00:31:10.320 now in Powell River.
00:31:11.320 He'll be one of their candidates for the federal election.
00:31:14.320 They booted him out of the leadership race.
00:31:16.320 That was a big deal.
00:31:17.320 And then they booted now Conservative Party BC leader John Rustad.
00:31:22.320 Boy, was this a mistake.
00:31:24.320 Kevin Falcon, leader of BC United, booted him out of their party on his birthday because
00:31:31.320 he refused to apologize for retweeting a tweet from former founder, co-founder of Greenpeace.
00:31:41.320 He retweeted his tweet that didn't align with climate alarmism and got the boot.
00:31:45.320 And eventually, you know, the momentum started picking.
00:31:48.320 They picked up John Rustad.
00:31:49.320 He became the leader.
00:31:50.320 People started crossing the floor.
00:31:52.320 And they went to the grassroots.
00:31:54.320 They started talking about things like SOGI.
00:31:56.320 They started talking about, you know, the high cost of living.
00:31:59.320 And they really, really shed light on our opiate crisis and how it's been handled with our
00:32:05.320 ridiculous safer supply agenda that's only correlated with way more overdoses.
00:32:11.320 So there's been a lot of things.
00:32:13.320 And the conservative name, as you know, federally is doing much better, too.
00:32:17.320 So that helped them as well.
00:32:18.320 Isn't that crazy?
00:32:20.320 I think I know the Greenpeace leader you're referring to, Patrick Moore, one of the founders
00:32:24.320 of Greenpeace, who's actually a scientist.
00:32:28.320 And he's a little bit skeptical about the Greenpeace political agenda.
00:32:33.320 Retweeting him is not a radical act.
00:32:35.320 It's sort of a common sense act.
00:32:37.320 Isn't it funny how things work out?
00:32:39.320 The guy that was canceled by the old B.C.
00:32:41.320 Unity Party, which is sort of like, I think I would, it's fair to call it the remnants
00:32:46.320 of the old liberal party.
00:32:47.320 Anyhow.
00:32:48.320 They used to be called B.C.
00:32:49.320 liberals.
00:32:50.320 Yeah.
00:32:51.320 Until recently, they wanted to de-brand themselves from the federal liberals.
00:32:54.320 Well, I don't blame them.
00:32:55.320 And I think you're right.
00:32:56.320 Pierre Polyev's success with the name conservatives probably, you know, people know, okay, I know
00:33:01.320 what conservative means.
00:33:02.320 And John Rostad's done a good job.
00:33:04.320 I like his style.
00:33:05.320 And I think he's fairly courageous.
00:33:07.320 I mean, he's, I think he's becoming a little more careful now that he's got a real chance
00:33:11.320 of winning.
00:33:12.320 Politicians are like that sometimes.
00:33:14.320 What are the top issues you think?
00:33:17.320 You mentioned the NDB government's drug policy, which sounds like an obscure thing.
00:33:24.320 But if you know Vancouver and not just Vancouver, a lot of other cities, too.
00:33:29.320 Holy moly, are there tent cities.
00:33:32.320 And what used to be restricted to the downtown east side or the Hastings Street, if I'm not
00:33:39.320 mistaken, that phenomenon is now in so many places.
00:33:44.320 It is a huge issue.
00:33:46.320 And that is really the number one thing I associate with the Premier David E. B. Am I right?
00:33:51.320 Absolutely.
00:33:52.320 Absolutely.
00:33:53.320 Like I said, opioid crisis, mental health crisis seems to be at an all time high.
00:33:57.320 They've been in power for seven years.
00:33:59.320 It's only getting worse.
00:34:00.320 And the methods that they've used to try to address it are literally, you can't, you
00:34:06.320 have to live here to believe it's true.
00:34:08.320 Like they're putting free crack pipes and instructions on how to do drugs and vending machines outside
00:34:14.320 of emergency rooms.
00:34:16.320 I mean, you can't make this stuff up.
00:34:18.320 I love when I interviewed the conservative candidate for Nanaimo, Gwen O'Mahony, actually
00:34:24.320 a former NDP MLA.
00:34:27.320 And she says, drug addicts know how to use drugs.
00:34:29.320 So who are they teaching?
00:34:31.320 Kids could go up there.
00:34:32.320 Who are you teaching with these cartoons about how to use drugs?
00:34:35.320 So they had stuff like that.
00:34:36.320 Dr. Bonnie Henry, our public health officer, she put out a recommendation on how to improve
00:34:45.320 the safer supply sort of agenda that they've done.
00:34:48.320 She wanted or suggested that they start exploring actually having these hard drugs be available
00:34:55.320 for sale in stores without any professional interacting with the person.
00:35:00.320 So it's just it's nuts out here.
00:35:02.320 So that has been a big issue.
00:35:04.320 And we're actually seeing some flip flopping.
00:35:06.320 That's that's sort of the nickname that the conservatives have given premier or incumbent
00:35:10.320 premier David Eby is flip flopping Eby because he's actually in some ways becoming more conservative
00:35:17.320 like, for example, he's now saying he will implement involuntary care for those who are a harm,
00:35:25.320 a threat to themselves, threat to others, or they're so hooked on drugs they can't make proper decisions.
00:35:31.320 There have been many families in particular, particular parents who have lost their children
00:35:36.320 to overdoses that have been begging for that.
00:35:39.320 That is something the conservatives said they were going to do.
00:35:41.320 Now you see Eby saying they're going to do it shortly after a 13 year old girl, Brianna
00:35:47.320 McDonald, overdosed and died in an Abbotsford homeless encampment.
00:35:53.320 Her parents had tried to get her the help.
00:35:55.320 And boy, would they have loved to have been able to get her help involuntarily.
00:35:59.320 So we're seeing shifts on things like that.
00:36:02.320 We're also seeing a shift on Eby of all people shifting on his stance with the carbon
00:36:09.320 tax.
00:36:10.320 Well, I was going to ask you about that.
00:36:11.320 It's almost like now that he's fearing voters again, now that he doesn't have a 20 point lead,
00:36:17.320 he actually has to care about what ordinary people say.
00:36:20.320 So he's going a little wobbly on his drug pushing strategy.
00:36:23.320 Tell me about him on carbon tax, because I've always thought B.C. is the most environmentalist
00:36:28.320 province in the country.
00:36:30.320 Tell me what's going on there, because I think he's getting afraid of it.
00:36:33.320 Absolutely.
00:36:34.320 This is it.
00:36:35.320 It's looking like fear.
00:36:37.320 So if you recall, Conservative Party leader Pierre Polyev, federal, went around on that
00:36:44.320 campaign to axe the tax.
00:36:46.320 He was trying to have Trudeau's hike be stopped.
00:36:49.320 And he invited all of the premiers to join in.
00:36:52.320 And most of them did join in.
00:36:54.320 Do you think our premier did?
00:36:56.320 No, he made it very clear his position by not joining all the other premiers.
00:37:01.320 And in fact, he actually mocked Pierre Polyev.
00:37:05.320 He said something along the lines with a smug smile on his face.
00:37:09.320 I don't live in the Polyev bologna factory.
00:37:14.320 Sounds delicious.
00:37:15.320 Yeah, I know.
00:37:16.320 Well, and then Polyev hit back and saying, well, you're, you're, you know, your citizens
00:37:21.320 can't even afford bologna right now.
00:37:24.320 But, but my point is, he actually stuck his out, his neck out and mocked Polyev.
00:37:29.320 And now we see, of course, the BC conservatives are saying, we will cancel our own carbon tax
00:37:35.320 because we were the first to implement it and we have our own.
00:37:38.320 And now he's saying he's going to go ahead and cancel that all of a sudden.
00:37:43.320 Wow.
00:37:44.320 I tell you, I'm so glad you're giving us this briefing because sometimes we get so wrapped
00:37:49.320 up about other parts of Canada and sometimes BC.
00:37:51.320 And I know BC feels a million miles away from Ottawa and the masters of the universe.
00:37:56.320 But there's a real awakening going on, it sounds like.
00:37:59.320 And everyone in Canada should pay attention to it.
00:38:02.320 I know there's other things cooking in the country, but I'm delighted to hear your reports.
00:38:05.320 I also saw something just a couple of hours ago.
00:38:08.320 This is a statement that John Rustad, the leader of the Conservative Party, put out.
00:38:13.320 And I'm just going to read a little bit of it straight from my phone.
00:38:16.320 John Rustad denounces celebrations of terrorist acts, calls for strong action against those glorifying
00:38:24.320 genocidal groups.
00:38:26.320 And there's a group in Vancouver called Samidun, which is labeled as an official terrorist group
00:38:32.320 in other countries, but it acts with impunity in Canada.
00:38:36.320 Let me just read the very last sentence in his release.
00:38:40.320 He condemns the hateful marches.
00:38:43.320 But here's what he says.
00:38:44.320 He says, Rustad condemned those who were taken to the streets to glorify groups responsible
00:38:50.320 for horrific acts of terrorism, calling for strong and immediate action.
00:38:55.320 And here's what he said.
00:38:57.320 And he's saying, if you are not a citizen, if you are here as a guest, and if you, instead
00:39:11.320 of being a guest worker or a guest student, if you think you're here to whip up anti-Semitism,
00:39:19.320 go home.
00:39:20.320 And I see a CBC reporter wrote back, provincial leaders have no influence on someone's legal
00:39:26.320 status in Canada, so I'm confused as to what he's going to do.
00:39:29.320 That's what Katie DeRose of the CBC says.
00:39:32.320 Well, let me tell you, provincial prosecutors prosecute the vast majority of crimes, so the
00:39:37.320 provinces do have a say.
00:39:38.320 But here's John Rustad replied directly to that CBC reporter and said, I'm going to demand
00:39:45.320 that our federal government revoke the visas of people who promote terrorist organizations.
00:39:51.320 And that just feels so eminently reasonable.
00:39:54.320 I know a lot of people in DC are new immigrants, particularly the Chinese community, the South
00:39:59.320 Asian community.
00:40:00.320 There's a lot of immigrants in Vancouver, but 99% of them, I bet, would support what
00:40:07.320 John Rustad is saying here.
00:40:10.320 Those folks came to Canada for a better place, not to bring that terrorist hate here.
00:40:14.320 That is something new and atrocious.
00:40:16.320 I'm thrilled with this announcement by Rustad.
00:40:19.320 Absolutely.
00:40:20.320 Yeah, I saw that today as well, and I was looking at it, and he actually has taken quite
00:40:26.320 a stand speaking out against anti-Semitism.
00:40:29.320 We still have some of his candidates.
00:40:31.320 In the contrast, you might have noticed that not too long ago, MLA Selena Robinson actually
00:40:40.320 left his party, the NDP, or she said, I'm not going to continue.
00:40:43.320 She went on to be an independent because she says there's so much anti-Semitism happening
00:40:48.320 against Jews inside of the NDP party.
00:40:51.320 So there is a real difference there.
00:40:53.320 But you're absolutely right, the condoning that's happening.
00:40:56.320 And I'm glad that you brought up Samadong because they are the ones that are really
00:41:01.320 behind most of the protests that are happening here.
00:41:04.320 And maybe I can throw to a video.
00:41:06.320 You guys can show your views because this actually, I'm going to mention it in an upcoming
00:41:10.320 report I'm working on.
00:41:11.320 But this is quite shocking.
00:41:12.320 This is Charlotte Cates.
00:41:14.320 She's an international coordinator for Samadong.
00:41:18.320 So she's been involved in many of the protests.
00:41:20.320 And this is her recently celebrating the sort of the one year anniversary of October 7th
00:41:27.320 in Madrid.
00:41:28.320 So we see the fascist newspapers saying we are here to celebrate the 7th of October.
00:41:34.320 Well, yes, we are here to celebrate the 7th of October.
00:41:41.320 Well, thank you for sharing that clip with us.
00:41:43.320 You know, Stephen Harper actually passed a law making it against the law to glorify a terrorist
00:41:50.320 group.
00:41:51.320 The liberals repealed that right away.
00:41:53.320 And you can see why.
00:41:54.320 They love these radical groups.
00:41:56.320 In fact, it's sort of shocking to me how many times the liberals choose the terrorist
00:42:03.320 side, whether it's funding the U.N.
00:42:05.320 Relief Works Agency, which is basically a middleman to give cash to Hamas, or appointing
00:42:11.320 Berju Dutani to the head of the Human Rights Commission, who wrote a paper on how terrorism
00:42:17.320 works.
00:42:18.320 I mean, the liberals should be given no benefit of the doubt.
00:42:22.320 I truly believe they're on the wrong side of this civilizational battle.
00:42:26.320 Well, I'm really excited.
00:42:28.320 And is the debate coming?
00:42:30.320 When's the debate coming up?
00:42:31.320 Have they had it yet?
00:42:32.320 Well, I don't know when this is going to air, but it's Tuesday tomorrow as we're filming.
00:42:37.320 And Sheila Gunn-Reed is going to join me in hosting a debate, so you guys can all tune
00:42:42.320 in.
00:42:43.320 I think we're starting about an hour before.
00:42:45.320 Correct me if I'm wrong, producer.
00:42:46.320 So I think it's going to start around 5.30 PST time.
00:42:50.320 If you go to the website bcdecides.com, we already have more information there.
00:42:55.320 But join us on the live stream.
00:42:56.320 We're going to have some special guests.
00:42:58.320 We're going to watch it together.
00:42:59.320 You know, I'm going to try not to vomit when I hear Evie say some things.
00:43:03.320 There's a real smear campaign happening, so I'll talk about that tomorrow as well.
00:43:08.320 So join us.
00:43:09.320 Great.
00:43:10.320 Well, this will air tonight, Monday night, so perfect timing.
00:43:12.320 Perfect.
00:43:13.320 I'm excited about the live stream.
00:43:14.320 For folks in Alberta, that'll be 6.30 PM start.
00:43:17.320 For folks out here in Toronto, 8.30 start.
00:43:20.320 But that's perfect.
00:43:21.320 bcdecides.com, that's our website where you can find the live stream.
00:43:26.320 Dre, I'm really excited about the BC election.
00:43:28.320 I'm really glad you're out there for it.
00:43:29.320 Me too.
00:43:30.320 Thanks for having me.
00:43:31.320 Take care, my friend.
00:43:32.320 Nice to see you on the weekend, by the way, at the Rebel News Live event in Calgary.
00:43:35.320 That was great to have you there.
00:43:36.320 That was great.
00:43:37.320 Okay.
00:43:38.320 Stay with us.
00:43:39.320 More ahead.
00:43:40.320 Hey, welcome back.
00:43:41.320 Your letters to me, Long Arm Supply says, thank you to Billboard Chris for all his sacrifices
00:43:56.320 to protect our kids.
00:43:57.320 I'm 100% in support of Danielle Smith.
00:43:59.320 Danielle Smith.
00:44:00.320 She's the most sensible premier we've had in years.
00:44:03.320 You know, I was delighted to have her attend and be part of a fireside chat with me at the
00:44:08.320 Rebel News Live conference in Calgary on Saturday.
00:44:11.320 I thought it was the highlight of the conference, and we're going to release that video to Rebel
00:44:15.320 News Plus subscribers so you can see it.
00:44:17.320 I think you'll get a kick out of it.
00:44:18.320 Boo is who is says, I first saw Chris speak at a Lesley Lewis leadership event a few years
00:44:25.320 ago, and he was shouting and wouldn't sit down.
00:44:28.320 At the time, I was like, what is wrong with this guy?
00:44:31.320 Years later, now I know why he was shouting.
00:44:33.320 God bless Billboard Chris for being the canary in the coal mine.
00:44:36.320 Yeah, I've never seen him shout, but I don't dispute what you're saying.
00:44:39.320 I don't know what he was shouting about.
00:44:41.320 What I see him do is actually lower the energy level by using simple concepts.
00:44:46.320 I love his basic concepts on his billboards.
00:44:48.320 No one's born in the wrong body.
00:44:50.320 That's so simple.
00:44:51.320 Everyone can agree to him.
00:44:54.320 Dave Allen Bonner says, wish Doug Ford had a backbone.
00:44:57.320 Oh, don't get me started.
00:44:58.320 I think he really is one of the worst premiers in this country, and I suppose he's better than
00:45:02.320 David Eby, but just by a sniff.
00:45:04.320 Well, that's our show for today.
00:45:06.320 Until tomorrow, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters, to you at home,
00:45:10.320 good night, and keep fighting for freedom.
