Rebel News Podcast - EZRA LEVANT ｜ The Best of Rebel News in 2024 (So Far)

00:00:00.900 Hello, my friends. I can't believe how much has happened in 2024. So many things that

00:00:06.020 we've covered as journalists and so many things that have actually happened to us, including

00:00:10.100 to our star journalist, David Menzi. So today, we're going to have the best of 2024 so far.

00:00:17.740 To see the video version of it, which I think is essential because so many of these stories

00:00:22.020 happen out in the field, go to rebelnewsplus.com and click subscribe to get the video version.

00:00:28.480 It's just eight bucks a month, which might not seem like a lot to you, but it really

00:00:32.240 adds up for us. That's rebelnewsplus.com. All right, here's today's podcast.

00:00:40.700 Tonight, it's already springtime. Let me show you the best rebel journalism so far in 2024.

00:00:46.400 You're ready for freedom. Shame on you, you censorious bug. 0.87

00:00:58.480 I can't believe 2024 is already, what, about a quarter done. It's springtime already, and

00:01:07.320 we've had such a busy year. I have. Sheila Gunn-Reed has. Alexa Lavoie, all our journalists.

00:01:12.720 I think David Menzies has had the busiest of years, and we're just getting started. So

00:01:17.600 for the next half hour or so, enjoy the best of 2024 so far.

00:01:31.840 I'm enjoying it, and I'm doing my best to be fair and friendly.

00:01:36.060 If this was Canada, you could have him arrested.

00:01:39.720 Did you see that? Your rival, Chrystia Freeland, had one of our reporters arrested. 0.99

00:01:43.520 I don't think she did. I think she didn't say a word against it.

00:01:47.920 On

00:01:48.480 the

00:01:51.360 incident,

00:01:53.160 as you guys know very well,

00:01:55.400 Canada is a rule of law country.

00:01:58.200 Canada is

00:01:59.100 a democracy. Operational

00:02:01.760 decisions about law enforcement

00:02:03.960 are taken by the police

00:02:05.880 of jurisdiction. Quite

00:02:07.720 appropriately,

00:02:09.640 political elected officials

00:02:11.680 have no role in

00:02:13.520 the taking of those decisions,

00:02:15.760 and that's why I don't have any further comment.

00:02:17.720 It was the wrong thing.

00:02:18.900 It was absolutely the wrong thing.

00:02:20.800 Thank you for saying that.

00:02:22.820 Look, freedom of the press,

00:02:24.360 I've been a public figure

00:02:28.100 in Canada, been a public figure

00:02:30.060 in the UK. I know you got to answer tough questions,

00:02:32.400 and you guys, you know, you ask tough questions,

00:02:34.320 and that's fair.

00:02:35.140 Well, I want to thank you for saying that, because I have to say,

00:02:37.780 Chrystia Freeland has not yet said anything

00:02:39.780 in the vein that you have.

00:02:42.000 She's been happy to let the cops do her work 1.00

00:02:43.960 for her, and if she disagrees with the cops,

00:02:46.100 she hasn't said so.

00:02:48.300 Well, I've

00:02:49.480 said what I said, so...

00:02:51.240 But look, the questions you were asking earlier

00:02:52.920 about energy, and I'm going to have to...

00:02:55.080 Well, thanks for your time. I really appreciate...

00:02:57.500 ...and I appreciate...

00:02:59.100 Come on, come on, come on, I feel like,

00:03:01.640 until next thing, until next...

00:03:03.920 No, no, no.

00:03:05.140 Take care, thank you.

00:03:06.080 Steven Benzies with Rebel News.

00:03:08.560 Mr. Paglia, the Liberals use

00:03:11.060 both a carrot and a stick

00:03:13.360 to control journalists

00:03:15.160 in Canada.

00:03:16.480 Which of these carrots and sticks

00:03:18.880 would you keep

00:03:20.360 as Prime Minister,

00:03:22.360 and which would you repeal?

00:03:25.100 Thank you. We are going to repeal

00:03:26.920 C-11, the censorship law,

00:03:29.500 which allows CRTC bureaucrats

00:03:31.940 to secretly manipulate

00:03:33.840 social media algorithms

00:03:35.840 to promote certain information,

00:03:37.920 demote other information,

00:03:39.240 and censor certain things altogether.

00:03:42.240 This is a form of censorship

00:03:43.520 that exists nowhere

00:03:44.740 in the democratic world.

00:03:46.840 Right now, Justin Trudeau

00:03:48.040 is censoring those

00:03:49.120 that he disagrees with

00:03:50.740 and trying to buy off the rest.

00:03:53.840 And that makes...

00:03:54.560 That undermines confidence

00:03:55.860 among Canadians.

00:03:56.920 in the news media.

00:03:58.300 The worst part of C-21, 0.80

00:03:59.920 which the whole bill is junk, 0.89

00:04:01.340 but the worst part is 0.95

00:04:02.520 it cements the handgun freeze

00:04:04.940 in legislation,

00:04:06.140 making it very complex

00:04:07.280 and difficult,

00:04:08.140 but not impossible,

00:04:09.260 to overturn.

00:04:10.540 So that's the worst part.

00:04:11.780 But yeah, it's a bill

00:04:12.680 that directly targets

00:04:14.060 licensed sport shooters

00:04:15.280 and hunters

00:04:15.840 instead of criminals.

00:04:17.360 Today forward,

00:04:19.060 it is no longer legal

00:04:20.960 to buy, sell,

00:04:23.260 or transfer a handgun

00:04:25.640 in Canada.

00:04:27.380 What I encourage people

00:04:28.480 to do is get as much

00:04:29.680 people out there

00:04:30.580 getting their gun license,

00:04:31.640 get as much people out there

00:04:32.540 because it's going to be

00:04:32.940 a lot harder to take back

00:04:34.100 if there's a lot of people

00:04:35.240 that own guns.

00:04:36.180 Responsible,

00:04:36.780 ethical gun owners

00:04:37.560 aren't out there

00:04:38.260 committing crimes.

00:04:38.880 We get a background check

00:04:40.520 every day.

00:04:41.600 My neighbor doesn't,

00:04:42.620 but I do.

00:04:43.380 Justin Trudeau thinks

00:04:44.940 that stopping crime

00:04:46.220 means we have to take away

00:04:47.840 Grandpa Joe's hunting rifle.

00:04:50.720 What do you want,

00:04:52.040 Justice?

00:04:52.840 What do you want it?

00:04:54.760 Palestine is not for sale.

00:04:57.180 They are next corner of hell.

00:04:59.160 No, no, no, no,

00:05:02.860 please,

00:05:03.640 we're going to be

00:05:05.120 go to the other side.

00:05:27.540 No, we're not in Gaza,

00:05:28.500 we're not under Sharia law, sir.

00:05:29.820 Go to the other side!

00:05:30.680 They have every right to protest,

00:05:32.180 they could do it

00:05:32.660 at a peaceful place

00:05:33.560 like City Hall,

00:05:34.300 but not in front

00:05:35.200 of a synagogue.

00:05:43.640 What's your house?

00:05:49.340 No, it's my house.

00:05:50.360 No, it's not her house.

00:05:51.820 We are here because

00:05:53.200 this place of worship

00:05:55.000 has chosen

00:05:56.200 to make for a venue

00:05:57.740 a real estate venue

00:05:59.820 to sell a legally occupied land.

00:06:03.140 Is it possible

00:06:04.120 that you're living

00:06:04.840 on stolen land also,

00:06:06.440 according to your very argument?

00:06:08.300 Can you give a ticket

00:06:09.260 to this guy?

00:06:10.580 He's idling his vehicle.

00:06:12.480 Oh, sir?

00:06:13.560 Sir, why are you

00:06:14.300 idling your vehicle?

00:06:15.480 There's a bylaw about that.

00:06:17.980 Oh, really?

00:06:18.580 So basically,

00:06:19.400 oh, you jacked up the contract? 1.00

00:06:20.480 Another coward. 0.99

00:06:21.360 Now, if I go back 0.98

00:06:22.560 even the last two years,

00:06:24.100 we were under-policed,

00:06:25.580 under emergency services,

00:06:27.340 and under-hospitalized.

00:06:28.360 That's what we were told.

00:06:29.940 Now,

00:06:30.700 we're adding

00:06:31.920 millions of people.

00:06:33.620 Are we not going to be short?

00:06:35.220 Either healthcare,

00:06:36.340 police-wise,

00:06:37.340 any of the functionality?

00:06:38.320 You're a legend, Ben Zoy.

00:06:40.180 Oh, thank you, sir.

00:06:43.700 Hello, sir.

00:06:44.440 Are you part of

00:06:44.980 the Prime Minister's

00:06:45.860 security detail?

00:06:47.420 Yeah, have a great day.

00:06:48.980 It's just mind-blowing

00:06:50.340 how they spend money

00:06:51.880 every single time

00:06:53.520 just giving to everybody

00:06:55.460 for nothing.

00:06:56.460 Well, Canadians 0.85

00:06:57.020 have a right to protest.

00:06:59.300 Absolutely.

00:07:00.040 To make their anguish,

00:07:02.460 their anger

00:07:03.440 heard by other Canadians.

00:07:05.500 That's important,

00:07:06.840 and we will always

00:07:07.560 protect that right.

00:07:09.020 Tommy, I did a full show

00:07:10.380 about your court hearing.

00:07:11.420 It's going to be

00:07:11.920 on my show tonight,

00:07:12.900 but just for the folks

00:07:13.860 on Twitter, 0.62

00:07:15.440 what the hell

00:07:16.340 just happened in there?

00:07:17.640 What was that guy

00:07:18.880 from the Evening Standard

00:07:20.460 newspaper doing?

00:07:22.560 I have never seen

00:07:24.520 anything like it.

00:07:25.440 So, I've gone into court.

00:07:26.360 I've wrote my address down.

00:07:27.500 Obviously,

00:07:27.880 I have threats to my life.

00:07:28.620 People are aware of that.

00:07:29.600 I've wrote my address down.

00:07:30.400 The judge has my address.

00:07:31.700 They've then argued

00:07:32.440 that they want the address

00:07:33.360 read out in public court,

00:07:34.520 so then it's in public

00:07:35.480 courts,

00:07:35.900 so then they can report.

00:07:36.700 So, when they do their report,

00:07:37.500 they say,

00:07:37.760 Stephen Lennon of

00:07:38.620 and give my exact address.

00:07:39.980 That's what they were arguing.

00:07:40.960 Your address is not

00:07:42.220 in the public interest.

00:07:43.200 Nothing turns on it.

00:07:44.100 There was no crime

00:07:44.760 committed there.

00:07:45.740 The police know where you live.

00:07:47.000 The judge knows where you live.

00:07:48.280 The lawyers know where you live.

00:07:50.260 But this judge,

00:07:51.320 this reporter...

00:07:52.760 The judge ruled,

00:07:53.540 the judge ruled,

00:07:54.720 you have to now

00:07:55.440 read out your address.

00:07:56.540 But what was crazy

00:07:57.520 is this journalist

00:07:58.220 just stood up

00:07:58.880 and argued for five minutes

00:07:59.940 that he has the right

00:08:01.340 to let...

00:08:02.340 to let...

00:08:02.980 My address.

00:08:03.920 And it's not like

00:08:04.740 they don't...

00:08:05.180 It's not like they're not aware

00:08:06.000 there's threats to my life.

00:08:07.300 And I said to...

00:08:07.960 That's why I stood up

00:08:08.700 when the judge said,

00:08:09.460 read your address.

00:08:10.000 I said,

00:08:10.600 you want me to read out

00:08:11.540 and endanger my family?

00:08:12.760 The judge knows the answer.

00:08:14.400 Yeah, she's got it

00:08:15.300 in front of her.

00:08:16.200 So, again,

00:08:17.500 this case

00:08:18.060 has nothing to do

00:08:18.680 with a dispersed order.

00:08:20.000 This case...

00:08:20.880 That incident there

00:08:22.020 has nothing to do

00:08:22.840 with justice.

00:08:23.880 It's to do with

00:08:24.460 damaging me, 0.50

00:08:25.420 to endangering me.

00:08:26.640 It's to do with an attack.

00:08:27.700 This is an attack

00:08:28.280 on freedom of speech.

00:08:29.020 It's an attack on me personally.

00:08:30.300 It's an attack on freedom

00:08:31.000 of the press.

00:08:31.500 You know,

00:08:38.260 it's just a great day.

00:08:39.540 I just want to give glory

00:08:40.240 to God.

00:08:41.300 And it's just a day

00:08:42.380 of victory

00:08:43.120 that I felt very confident

00:08:45.180 coming into today

00:08:46.240 that I thought,

00:08:47.060 certainly,

00:08:47.500 am I going to be,

00:08:48.260 you know,

00:08:48.940 now punished

00:08:49.740 for praying silently

00:08:50.880 in City Hall

00:08:51.620 10 months ago?

00:08:52.720 Certainly not.

00:08:53.680 I don't think

00:08:54.320 that we've fallen

00:08:55.900 that far quite yet.

00:08:57.160 But, you know,

00:08:58.720 hey,

00:08:58.960 we're going to continue

00:08:59.640 the fight

00:09:00.060 and we're going

00:09:00.400 to continue

00:09:00.780 the battle here.

00:09:01.560 And I just want

00:09:01.820 to encourage everybody

00:09:02.620 to stand on their

00:09:03.480 God-given rights

00:09:04.220 and convictions

00:09:04.780 and just to keep

00:09:05.720 living free.

00:09:06.580 Now, the origins

00:09:07.240 of COVID-19

00:09:08.240 still a mystery

00:09:09.700 despite it killing

00:09:10.640 almost 5 million people

00:09:12.660 since December 2019.

00:09:14.620 This is the National 0.51

00:09:15.580 Microbiology Lab

00:09:16.880 in Winnipeg,

00:09:18.140 Manitoba.

00:09:18.740 It's Canada's 0.89

00:09:19.440 only level 4

00:09:20.820 microbiology lab.

00:09:22.620 It's also the only

00:09:23.600 level 4 microbiology lab

00:09:25.640 in the world

00:09:26.560 that Chinese scientists

00:09:28.200 outside of China

00:09:29.620 had access to.

00:09:33.260 This lab is also

00:09:34.720 the site

00:09:35.520 of an international

00:09:36.560 espionage story

00:09:38.020 five years in the making

00:09:39.740 and a three-year-long

00:09:41.580 cover-up that goes

00:09:42.620 all the way up

00:09:43.420 to the Prime Minister's

00:09:44.520 office.

00:09:45.260 And that cover-up,

00:09:46.300 as documents now show,

00:09:48.200 involves gain-of-function

00:09:49.820 research involving

00:09:51.900 phyloviruses from bats.

00:09:54.240 Now, this lab

00:09:55.580 is in a normal

00:09:56.420 Winnipeg area.

00:09:57.880 It's in a residential

00:09:59.020 neighbourhood.

00:09:59.900 It's got businesses

00:10:00.580 across the street

00:10:01.620 and it is near

00:10:03.040 the head offices

00:10:04.160 of Canada Blood

00:10:05.460 Services.

00:10:06.560 And this lab's

00:10:07.460 proximity to all

00:10:09.200 those locations

00:10:10.120 should send a chill

00:10:11.720 up your spine.

00:10:13.000 Why?

00:10:13.820 In 2019,

00:10:14.880 two Chinese nationals

00:10:16.180 working at the lab

00:10:17.140 and their students

00:10:18.160 were marched

00:10:18.980 out of the building.

00:10:20.120 They had been working

00:10:21.420 with the Chinese military

00:10:22.660 and transferring deadly

00:10:23.880 pathogens, including

00:10:25.560 Ebola, out of this lab

00:10:27.180 and into the hands

00:10:28.220 of the Chinese People's

00:10:29.520 Liberation Army,

00:10:30.900 with many of those

00:10:31.780 deadly samples ending

00:10:33.240 up in the hands

00:10:34.180 of researchers

00:10:35.200 at the Wuhan

00:10:36.180 Virology Institute.

00:10:37.880 The removal of Dr.

00:10:39.620 Zhang Kuo-Kui

00:10:40.400 and her husband

00:10:41.140 from this lab

00:10:42.100 triggered a Canadian 0.99

00:10:43.480 Security Intelligence

00:10:44.720 Services investigation.

00:10:46.960 That investigation

00:10:47.680 was called

00:10:48.420 the 2020 Report

00:10:49.580 on Review

00:10:50.140 for Cause of Security

00:10:51.320 Status.

00:10:51.720 That report

00:10:52.540 was hidden

00:10:52.940 from the public

00:10:53.540 for three years.

00:10:54.680 But 600 pages

00:10:55.940 of it were just

00:10:56.920 made public

00:10:57.560 and it is damning.

00:10:59.520 We know

00:11:00.460 as a country

00:11:01.360 that increasingly

00:11:02.480 countries like

00:11:04.040 China and others 0.77

00:11:05.060 are trying

00:11:06.000 to either

00:11:07.120 influence

00:11:08.260 or get secrets

00:11:11.260 out of our country.

00:11:13.480 And that's why

00:11:14.020 we have to continue

00:11:14.900 to be extraordinarily

00:11:15.940 vigilant

00:11:16.540 about how

00:11:17.720 we're making sure

00:11:19.060 we're doing

00:11:19.540 everything necessary

00:11:20.780 to keep people safe,

00:11:22.640 to keep our research

00:11:23.520 institutions safe.

00:11:25.000 Reporting on

00:11:25.920 the documents

00:11:26.760 by Sam Cooper

00:11:28.140 from the Bureau

00:11:29.360 revealed that

00:11:30.480 Kui led 1.00

00:11:31.080 the Wuhan

00:11:31.600 Virology Institute's

00:11:33.020 quote,

00:11:33.360 synthetic bat

00:11:34.280 philovirus project

00:11:35.680 with the Wuhan

00:11:36.700 Institute's

00:11:37.360 Vice Director,

00:11:38.540 Dr. Xi

00:11:39.240 Zhenli.

00:11:41.020 She's known

00:11:41.540 as the Batwoman.

00:11:43.060 Dr. Xi

00:11:43.580 is the senior

00:11:44.400 Chinese scientist

00:11:45.500 that worked

00:11:46.440 in 2015

00:11:47.040 on a controversial

00:11:48.000 United States

00:11:48.820 hybrid version

00:11:49.720 of a bat

00:11:50.700 coronavirus.

00:11:52.860 The research,

00:11:53.980 according to

00:11:54.580 those CSIS

00:11:55.260 records,

00:11:56.140 was to assess

00:11:57.140 cross-species

00:11:58.460 infection

00:11:59.120 and pathogen

00:12:00.080 risks

00:12:00.500 of bat

00:12:01.120 philoviruses

00:12:01.960 for future

00:12:03.120 vaccine development

00:12:04.080 purposes,

00:12:05.180 which suggests

00:12:06.140 that gain-of-function

00:12:07.680 studies

00:12:08.320 were possibly

00:12:09.260 to take place.

00:12:10.340 I want to walk

00:12:11.060 you through

00:12:11.440 the timeline

00:12:12.000 and you can

00:12:12.860 draw your own

00:12:13.520 conclusions

00:12:14.040 because we still

00:12:15.420 don't know

00:12:16.240 what's being

00:12:17.080 covered up here

00:12:17.880 at the National

00:12:18.720 Microbiology Lab.

00:12:21.100 Is it Justin

00:12:21.740 Trudeau's own

00:12:22.400 ineptitude

00:12:23.080 and his complete

00:12:24.160 and total disregard

00:12:24.980 for the safety

00:12:25.760 of Canadians?

00:12:26.980 Or has Justin

00:12:27.820 Trudeau been

00:12:28.300 completely colonized

00:12:29.400 by Beijing

00:12:30.360 and the dictatorship

00:12:31.620 that he admires

00:12:32.900 so much

00:12:33.680 all to hang

00:12:34.680 on to power?

00:12:35.880 Or is this

00:12:36.480 a cover-up

00:12:37.020 of something

00:12:37.560 much worse

00:12:38.280 involving

00:12:38.840 Canada,

00:12:40.220 the United States

00:12:41.180 and China?

00:12:42.320 The information

00:12:42.860 appears to be

00:12:43.500 mostly about

00:12:44.020 protecting

00:12:44.640 the organization

00:12:47.020 from embarrassment

00:12:48.320 for failures

00:12:49.140 in policy

00:12:49.860 and implementation,

00:12:51.020 not legitimate

00:12:51.960 national security

00:12:52.860 concerns,

00:12:53.640 and its release

00:12:54.700 is essential

00:12:55.420 to hold the

00:12:55.960 government to account.

00:12:56.720 In other words,

00:12:57.240 there was no

00:12:57.720 national security

00:12:58.320 reason why we

00:12:58.980 couldn't have

00:12:59.260 had this before.

00:13:00.420 It was only

00:13:01.380 because Trudeau

00:13:02.620 didn't want

00:13:03.500 the embarrassment.

00:13:04.900 According to

00:13:05.460 the official timeline

00:13:06.720 of the COVID-19

00:13:07.680 pandemic,

00:13:08.680 cluster outbreaks

00:13:09.600 began occurring

00:13:10.340 in November

00:13:10.920 and December

00:13:11.740 in Wuhan, China,

00:13:13.260 with the

00:13:13.720 Wuhan Virology

00:13:14.600 Institute,

00:13:16.180 the suspected

00:13:16.820 site of the

00:13:17.680 release of the

00:13:18.460 pathogen,

00:13:19.340 intentional or

00:13:19.920 otherwise.

00:13:21.160 And as we all

00:13:22.060 know,

00:13:23.000 the global pandemic

00:13:23.960 of COVID-19

00:13:24.820 was declared

00:13:25.540 in March 2020,

00:13:27.200 just a few short

00:13:28.140 months later.

00:13:28.880 But let's go back

00:13:29.600 to Canada

00:13:30.100 and this lab here.

00:13:31.940 In June 2019,

00:13:33.060 Dr. Kui,

00:13:34.300 whose whereabouts

00:13:35.100 are now unknown,

00:13:36.760 her husband

00:13:37.260 and her students

00:13:38.220 were all marched

00:13:39.400 out of the

00:13:39.940 National Microbiology

00:13:41.100 Lab and stripped

00:13:42.040 of their security

00:13:42.720 clearances for

00:13:43.920 removing vials

00:13:44.740 of some of the

00:13:45.340 world's most

00:13:46.480 deadly pathogens

00:13:47.360 and then sending

00:13:48.480 them to contacts

00:13:49.340 in China.

00:13:50.420 Fast forward

00:13:50.900 to October 2019,

00:13:52.560 China has either

00:13:53.400 a problem or a plan.

00:13:55.600 A whistleblower

00:13:56.300 has alleged that

00:13:57.300 the Chinese government

00:13:58.420 intentionally spread

00:13:59.460 COVID-19 at the

00:14:00.560 October 2019

00:14:01.640 Military World Games

00:14:03.480 in Wuhan, China.

00:14:04.760 In a previous report,

00:14:06.980 Rebel News revealed

00:14:07.940 through a whistleblower

00:14:09.480 that Canadian soldiers

00:14:10.820 had been among those

00:14:11.760 infected with severe

00:14:13.180 respiratory illness

00:14:14.280 at the October 2019

00:14:15.920 World Military Games

00:14:17.180 in Wuhan

00:14:17.600 and that the Trudeau

00:14:19.520 government had gone

00:14:20.380 to extensive lengths

00:14:21.420 to cover it all up.

00:14:22.980 Either way,

00:14:23.860 by November and December

00:14:25.120 of 2019,

00:14:27.200 COVID was on the loose

00:14:28.280 and it was spreading

00:14:29.220 across the world.

00:14:30.500 Fast forward to June 2021,

00:14:32.860 CSIS has wrapped up

00:14:33.960 their investigation

00:14:34.620 into the espionage

00:14:36.120 at the lab behind us.

00:14:37.960 But now,

00:14:39.160 Ian Stewart,

00:14:39.920 the president of the

00:14:40.620 Public Health Agency

00:14:41.380 of Canada,

00:14:42.320 refuses four times

00:14:44.340 to turn over the findings

00:14:46.180 of the CSIS investigation

00:14:47.440 to Parliament,

00:14:49.020 becoming the first

00:14:49.840 federal manager

00:14:50.580 to be censured

00:14:51.520 by Parliament

00:14:52.480 since 1891.

00:14:54.740 Then,

00:14:55.680 four months after

00:14:56.520 his censure,

00:14:57.980 Stewart steps down

00:14:59.060 and moves to

00:14:59.860 the National Research Council.

00:15:02.140 More recently,

00:15:03.280 Stewart has just

00:15:03.940 retired to a hero's

00:15:05.280 send-off

00:15:05.700 just weeks before

00:15:06.720 600 pages

00:15:08.200 of the CSIS investigation

00:15:09.900 into the lab

00:15:10.820 that he oversaw

00:15:11.800 were released

00:15:12.380 to the public.

00:15:13.340 Now,

00:15:13.680 in that same month

00:15:14.700 that Ian Stewart

00:15:16.000 was censured,

00:15:17.320 June 2021,

00:15:18.860 Prime Minister

00:15:19.420 Justin Trudeau

00:15:20.240 sued the Speaker

00:15:21.740 of the House,

00:15:22.860 his own Liberal MP,

00:15:24.700 Anthony Roda,

00:15:25.780 to block the release

00:15:26.980 of those 600 pages

00:15:28.140 of documents.

00:15:29.520 Why?

00:15:30.680 Six weeks later,

00:15:31.800 August 2021,

00:15:34.000 Justin Trudeau

00:15:34.560 calls a snap election,

00:15:36.580 completely unnecessarily,

00:15:38.960 in the middle

00:15:39.520 of the COVID-19 pandemic,

00:15:41.740 with multiple COVID restrictions

00:15:43.580 in place

00:15:44.580 in most jurisdictions.

00:15:46.760 Oddly enough,

00:15:47.860 while Justin Trudeau

00:15:48.660 was holding

00:15:49.300 a majority Parliament.

00:15:51.840 Moving ahead

00:15:52.540 to 2023,

00:15:53.840 it's now been

00:15:54.700 credibly alleged

00:15:55.740 that the Chinese government

00:15:57.300 intervened on behalf

00:15:58.720 of Trudeau

00:15:59.580 and his federal Liberals

00:16:01.240 in that snap election,

00:16:03.260 in multiple ridings

00:16:04.240 across the country,

00:16:05.660 flipping potentially

00:16:06.600 a dozen seats

00:16:08.020 in favour

00:16:09.120 of Justin Trudeau.

00:16:10.700 It's odd,

00:16:11.960 because it was an election

00:16:13.200 he was set

00:16:13.920 to win anyway.

00:16:15.180 And while the Chinese government

00:16:16.520 is credibly accused

00:16:17.980 of meddling

00:16:18.620 in the 2021 election,

00:16:21.000 the Chinese government

00:16:21.900 is simultaneously

00:16:23.240 operating police stations

00:16:25.240 on Canadian soil.

00:16:26.680 So what was being grown

00:16:28.240 in this lab

00:16:28.780 by Kui and her team?

00:16:30.400 What was being sent

00:16:31.540 from this lab

00:16:32.620 to the Wuhan Virology Institute,

00:16:34.580 the place pinpointed now

00:16:36.020 as the genesis

00:16:37.380 of the global

00:16:38.720 COVID-19 pandemic?

00:16:40.520 And why,

00:16:41.360 at the dawn of the pandemic,

00:16:42.600 did Justin Trudeau

00:16:43.460 give the Wuhan Institute

00:16:45.040 of Virology

00:16:45.740 $900,000

00:16:46.940 to investigate

00:16:48.720 COVID-19?

00:16:50.220 Did it have anything

00:16:51.240 to do with Kui's research

00:16:52.760 into bat philoviruses?

00:16:55.220 Will we ever learn

00:16:56.000 what Justin Trudeau knew?

00:16:57.680 Will we ever learn

00:16:58.660 why he acted

00:16:59.440 so desperately

00:17:00.180 to cover up

00:17:01.540 and to continue

00:17:02.380 to cover up

00:17:03.040 what happened

00:17:03.800 here in this lab?

00:17:05.200 If Canada was truly

00:17:06.120 the victim of espionage

00:17:07.560 and not implicated

00:17:08.720 in something

00:17:09.320 far more sinister,

00:17:10.800 why did our government

00:17:11.740 go to such lengths

00:17:13.160 to cover it all up?

00:17:14.900 For Rebel News

00:17:15.700 in Winnipeg

00:17:16.820 at the National Microbiology Lab,

00:17:19.380 I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed.

00:17:20.620 Let me tell you

00:17:21.060 what's going on in Canada

00:17:21.960 because as I always say,

00:17:23.460 what happens in Canada

00:17:24.400 today may happen

00:17:25.980 in the U.S.

00:17:26.600 five years from now,

00:17:27.800 it's like we're a bad

00:17:28.720 time machine

00:17:29.620 to see your future.

00:17:30.960 This week,

00:17:31.580 Justin Trudeau

00:17:32.240 introduced a new bill

00:17:33.200 called Bill C-63.

00:17:35.440 It's got a lot of things

00:17:36.400 in it that are atrocious.

00:17:38.140 He's created

00:17:38.680 a new hate crime bill,

00:17:41.180 life in prison,

00:17:42.480 new hate crime law.

00:17:43.740 There's nothing

00:17:44.320 that gets you

00:17:44.780 life in prison in Canada,

00:17:45.880 not even murder,

00:17:46.900 but hate speech now does.

00:17:49.060 He's created

00:17:49.700 a pre-crime for hate.

00:17:51.840 If you have,

00:17:53.140 quote,

00:17:53.420 fear of hate,

00:17:55.360 fear of hate,

00:17:56.420 that's the title

00:17:57.640 of the section

00:17:58.280 of the law,

00:17:59.160 you can get a judge

00:18:00.560 to issue

00:18:01.800 a kind of restraining order

00:18:03.500 against your enemy

00:18:04.780 before he does anything,

00:18:06.520 before he says anything,

00:18:07.960 and that restraining order

00:18:09.140 can include

00:18:09.740 house arrest,

00:18:12.300 giving up

00:18:12.780 any lawful firearms,

00:18:15.020 limiting who he

00:18:15.960 can talk to

00:18:17.100 directly or indirectly,

00:18:20.040 limiting the places

00:18:20.940 he can go,

00:18:22.100 and requiring him

00:18:23.040 to take urine

00:18:24.800 and blood tests.

00:18:26.340 Just because you are,

00:18:27.780 quote,

00:18:28.260 afraid,

00:18:29.580 he might in the future

00:18:31.360 say some hate speech.

00:18:33.580 He doesn't have to have

00:18:34.380 done anything in the past.

00:18:35.860 This is a pre-crime

00:18:37.720 like in that science fiction movie,

00:18:39.600 Minority Report.

00:18:40.780 That's in this bill.

00:18:42.560 Let me tell you

00:18:42.980 other things in this bill.

00:18:46.000 Donald Trump

00:18:46.960 and his travails

00:18:48.200 with the U.S. legal system,

00:18:49.440 they're covered a lot

00:18:50.500 by the Canadian media

00:18:51.600 and Justin Trudeau's

00:18:52.600 obsessed with Donald Trump.

00:18:54.160 So he's been watching

00:18:55.300 what Democrats have done

00:18:56.580 and he's learned from it.

00:18:58.720 Trump is being prosecuted

00:18:59.960 by high-profile prosecutors.

00:19:03.480 Trudeau has one-upped that.

00:19:05.380 Trudeau has now said

00:19:06.740 that anyone in Canada,

00:19:08.680 even non-citizens,

00:19:10.760 can file hate speech complaints

00:19:12.740 against anyone.

00:19:14.440 And if they're successful,

00:19:17.220 they get $20,000

00:19:18.880 from the target

00:19:20.760 and the target

00:19:21.940 has to pay a fine

00:19:23.740 of up to $50,000.

00:19:25.380 So let me just say

00:19:26.520 this more clearly.

00:19:27.800 If there's anyone

00:19:29.020 on social media,

00:19:30.160 because this is

00:19:30.540 a social media law

00:19:31.500 Trudeau's introduced,

00:19:32.960 if there's anyone

00:19:33.820 who has a YouTube video,

00:19:35.400 a tweet,

00:19:36.560 a Facebook comment

00:19:37.680 that you think

00:19:38.780 creates hate,

00:19:40.560 you can go to

00:19:42.460 the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal

00:19:44.260 and complain about it.

00:19:46.600 You don't have to

00:19:47.400 hire a lawyer.

00:19:48.360 You don't have to

00:19:49.060 spend any money.

00:19:50.460 The government

00:19:51.080 will have the hearing.

00:19:52.600 And if your complaint

00:19:53.760 is upheld,

00:19:54.840 you get $20,000

00:19:56.160 from the victim.

00:19:57.660 So instead of having

00:19:58.560 maybe $20,000...

00:19:59.180 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.

00:20:00.260 Who gets the $30,000?

00:20:01.740 The remaining $30,000?

00:20:04.200 $20,000 goes to the complainant

00:20:05.860 and an additional $50,000

00:20:07.640 goes to the government.

00:20:09.040 So you're on the hook

00:20:09.960 for $70,000 a pop.

00:20:11.820 So let's take someone

00:20:12.580 like Jordan Peterson.

00:20:14.220 Every day he's saying

00:20:15.260 something controversial

00:20:16.100 on YouTube,

00:20:16.980 on Twitter.

00:20:17.520 Oh, and by the way,

00:20:18.740 this applies to all

00:20:19.900 of your historical work

00:20:21.280 that's online.

00:20:22.300 So as long as it's still online

00:20:23.920 and you control it,

00:20:25.120 they can go back

00:20:26.640 through your history,

00:20:28.260 five years,

00:20:28.900 ten years,

00:20:30.040 and why wouldn't

00:20:31.340 they complain about

00:20:32.220 literally every tweet

00:20:33.740 you make,

00:20:34.520 literally every YouTube video?

00:20:36.160 There's no cost.

00:20:37.600 There's no downside.

00:20:38.500 And even if only

00:20:40.160 5% of your complaints

00:20:42.020 get through to the target,

00:20:43.920 you're smacking them

00:20:44.720 with $20,000 for yourself

00:20:46.260 and a $50,000 fine.

00:20:48.360 This will create

00:20:48.960 a huge industry.

00:20:50.920 So Trudeau saw

00:20:52.260 what they were doing

00:20:52.900 to Trump

00:20:53.320 and said,

00:20:53.720 I can do one better.

00:20:55.240 I'm not going to have

00:20:56.200 a few sniper shots.

00:20:57.520 I'm going to have 0.99

00:20:58.000 a shotgun blast. 0.99

00:20:59.540 I'm going to have

00:21:00.120 hundreds of complaints

00:21:01.740 swarming my enemies,

00:21:03.680 and I don't even

00:21:04.400 have to do it.

00:21:05.160 I will mobilize

00:21:06.720 a woke army,

00:21:08.640 but there's one more thing,

00:21:09.900 and I,

00:21:10.580 people can't believe it

00:21:12.040 when I tell it to them,

00:21:12.780 but it's right there

00:21:13.420 in the law

00:21:13.800 in black and white.

00:21:15.740 You can make a complaint

00:21:17.480 in secret,

00:21:20.120 and the target

00:21:20.940 of your complaint

00:21:21.700 never gets to know

00:21:23.360 your identity.

00:21:24.380 You can give evidence

00:21:25.360 in secret,

00:21:26.480 the complaint

00:21:27.300 can be made in secret.

00:21:28.720 So you could have

00:21:30.140 a company,

00:21:31.380 a political party,

00:21:32.880 a busybody,

00:21:33.780 who's literally filing

00:21:35.460 a hundred a day,

00:21:37.740 and you'll never know it.

00:21:39.800 And let me just be clear

00:21:41.080 about one thing.

00:21:42.060 You don't have to be a victim.

00:21:43.820 You don't have to have

00:21:44.720 any standing.

00:21:46.080 You don't have to be

00:21:47.000 mentioned at all.

00:21:48.360 You can just do this

00:21:49.720 as a hobby,

00:21:51.020 as an obsession,

00:21:52.260 as a job,

00:21:53.440 as a political vengeance.

00:21:55.260 Maybe you're

00:21:55.840 a disgruntled

00:21:56.980 ex-employee.

00:21:58.280 This is all in

00:21:59.480 Bill 363,

00:22:00.760 and you take it

00:22:01.560 all together.

00:22:02.040 This is the most

00:22:03.300 draconian

00:22:04.040 anti-free speech bill

00:22:05.420 anywhere in the world,

00:22:07.980 other than I suppose

00:22:08.800 Iran and China

00:22:10.160 who just

00:22:10.660 do this stuff naturally. 1.00

00:22:12.820 And kill you. 1.00

00:22:14.280 Yeah. 1.00

00:22:15.000 So what does that mean

00:22:16.200 to people like you,

00:22:17.440 Ezra?

00:22:17.660 Because you're

00:22:18.760 going to be attacked.

00:22:20.080 Rebel News

00:22:20.980 is going to be attacked.

00:22:23.080 You're out.

00:22:24.020 Let me just,

00:22:24.900 let me go to

00:22:25.460 first principles

00:22:26.020 for one second.

00:22:27.160 Let me tell you

00:22:27.920 what they're doing

00:22:29.100 at the basic

00:22:30.260 principle level here.

00:22:32.840 What is a hate crime?

00:22:34.320 What's hate, Glenn?

00:22:35.720 It's a human emotion.

00:22:37.440 If you never feel

00:22:38.440 any hate in your life,

00:22:39.420 you don't have

00:22:39.820 a fully formed personality.

00:22:41.460 The challenge in life

00:22:42.620 is to take

00:22:43.180 these bad emotions

00:22:44.040 and transform them

00:22:45.560 into positive work,

00:22:46.820 into reforming the world,

00:22:48.420 into fixing a problem.

00:22:49.480 Hate comes from

00:22:50.220 an underlying grievance.

00:22:52.400 So to pass a law

00:22:53.720 to say we're going

00:22:54.620 to ban hatred,

00:22:56.080 that's impossible.

00:22:57.060 We're possible

00:22:57.580 if we'd have passed

00:22:58.220 the Love Each Other Act

00:22:59.220 a long time ago

00:23:00.020 and we'd be in heaven.

00:23:00.880 So to criminalize

00:23:02.720 a human emotion,

00:23:04.560 it's insane

00:23:06.280 and that is what

00:23:08.220 the law actually governs.

00:23:10.020 And I know

00:23:10.740 because I was charged

00:23:11.700 under a precursor

00:23:12.660 to this law

00:23:13.140 about 15 years ago

00:23:14.200 when I published

00:23:15.240 the Danish cartoons

00:23:16.240 of Mohammed.

00:23:17.500 I was charged

00:23:18.160 with publishing

00:23:18.680 something,

00:23:19.120 likely to expose

00:23:21.320 a person to hatred

00:23:22.380 or contempt.

00:23:23.260 So it's a pre-crime.

00:23:24.940 It's a future crime.

00:23:26.700 And it's not to do

00:23:27.620 any actual damage.

00:23:29.240 It's just to hurt feelings.

00:23:31.300 And that's the thing

00:23:32.300 is it's so subjective.

00:23:34.900 We're all guilty

00:23:36.140 in advance.

00:23:37.500 But as the Soviet 0.68

00:23:38.520 secret police chief,

00:23:39.960 Lavrento Beria,

00:23:40.760 said,

00:23:41.020 show me the man

00:23:41.600 I'll find you the crime.

00:23:42.500 We're all guilty

00:23:43.260 of having hate

00:23:44.760 in our hearts.

00:23:45.660 So it's just whoever

00:23:46.640 they choose to prosecute

00:23:47.720 who will get dinged.

00:23:48.640 So tell me

00:23:49.980 this won't pass

00:23:51.600 in Parliament.

00:23:53.260 Well, the reason

00:23:54.300 it was introduced

00:23:55.020 this week

00:23:55.700 is because last week

00:23:57.280 Justin Trudeau

00:23:58.380 signed a new

00:23:59.340 coalition agreement

00:24:00.400 with a hard

00:24:01.420 left-wing socialist party.

00:24:03.580 Justin Trudeau

00:24:04.080 does not have

00:24:04.660 a majority of seats

00:24:05.620 in our House.

00:24:06.720 So he signed

00:24:07.340 a coalition deal

00:24:08.340 with an even worse party.

00:24:10.460 And I fear

00:24:11.160 this will be passed

00:24:12.300 into law.

00:24:12.860 And I fear

00:24:14.320 you know,

00:24:15.020 I mean,

00:24:15.180 it'll take some time.

00:24:16.040 They're setting up

00:24:16.480 three new censorship

00:24:18.280 agencies.

00:24:19.980 Not one,

00:24:20.680 but three.

00:24:21.280 There will be

00:24:21.600 three new censorship

00:24:22.800 bureaucracies.

00:24:24.580 And I think

00:24:25.860 it's going to take

00:24:26.420 them a number

00:24:26.920 of months

00:24:27.580 to get it going.

00:24:29.500 Months.

00:24:29.600 I think this will

00:24:30.160 probably be

00:24:30.860 operational in 2025.

00:24:33.540 And then it's

00:24:34.380 going to be

00:24:34.700 the final battle,

00:24:35.620 Glenn,

00:24:35.820 because,

00:24:36.400 you know,

00:24:36.980 this will bankrupt

00:24:37.980 any critic

00:24:38.680 of the regime.

00:24:39.780 And then there's

00:24:40.420 those pre-crime

00:24:41.680 restraining awards.

00:24:42.860 And then there's

00:24:44.380 the actual

00:24:44.900 criminal prosecution.

00:24:46.320 They've created

00:24:47.300 a standalone

00:24:47.980 hate crime law

00:24:49.360 for life in prison.

00:24:51.680 Not even murder

00:24:52.680 gets you that

00:24:53.380 in Canada.

00:24:56.060 So if this passes,

00:24:59.000 you've become

00:25:02.400 a Stasi state, 0.87

00:25:06.100 East Germany.

00:25:07.700 Yeah,

00:25:09.380 the secret

00:25:09.780 informants,

00:25:10.800 the secret

00:25:11.200 prosecutions,

00:25:12.500 the secret

00:25:12.940 witnesses,

00:25:14.240 the subjective

00:25:15.580 political nature

00:25:16.360 of the crime,

00:25:17.680 the three

00:25:18.080 different agencies.

00:25:20.260 It's,

00:25:20.660 oh,

00:25:21.040 and they have

00:25:22.000 special rules

00:25:22.680 for Facebook,

00:25:23.380 YouTube,

00:25:23.800 Instagram.

00:25:24.660 They say if they

00:25:25.580 get a complaint,

00:25:26.480 a hate complaint,

00:25:27.660 they must take it

00:25:28.680 down within 24

00:25:29.720 hours or be

00:25:30.960 subject to

00:25:31.600 enormous fines.

00:25:32.940 And so there's

00:25:33.920 no way you can

00:25:34.820 adjudicate if

00:25:36.220 something is

00:25:36.820 right or wrong

00:25:38.040 or fair or not

00:25:39.060 in 24 hours.

00:25:40.100 And the fines

00:25:40.940 are so enormous,

00:25:42.720 basically a

00:25:43.760 complaint will

00:25:44.660 automatically get

00:25:45.620 things taken down.

00:25:46.720 Again,

00:25:47.020 I'm going to tell you

00:25:47.540 something now,

00:25:47.980 and you're probably

00:25:48.400 not going to believe

00:25:49.040 me,

00:25:49.260 but I swear it's

00:25:50.040 in the text of

00:25:50.680 the law.

00:25:52.300 There are fines

00:25:53.340 in there that

00:25:54.620 can tag global

00:25:55.940 social media

00:25:56.600 companies,

00:25:57.780 8% of their

00:25:59.400 global revenue.

00:26:00.400 So Justin Trudeau

00:26:01.720 sitting up here

00:26:02.440 in Canada

00:26:03.020 says to Facebook,

00:26:04.520 if you break

00:26:05.900 my law,

00:26:06.940 I will fine you

00:26:07.820 8% of your

00:26:08.880 entire worldwide

00:26:10.260 revenue.

00:26:11.400 That's a $10

00:26:12.160 billion fine.

00:26:14.580 Now,

00:26:14.840 I think Facebook,

00:26:15.680 YouTube,

00:26:16.020 Google,

00:26:16.340 et cetera,

00:26:16.600 I think they're

00:26:17.060 probably going to

00:26:17.480 push back on

00:26:18.160 this,

00:26:18.540 or maybe they'll

00:26:19.260 just leave

00:26:19.760 Canada,

00:26:20.900 and Trudeau's

00:26:21.560 going to be

00:26:21.920 fine with that.

00:26:23.060 Facebook has

00:26:23.940 already left

00:26:24.840 Canadian news

00:26:25.980 because Trudeau

00:26:26.940 said to them,

00:26:27.500 you have to pay

00:26:28.040 $100 million

00:26:28.920 to our

00:26:30.320 list of

00:26:30.820 approved

00:26:31.400 journalists

00:26:32.120 for the

00:26:32.800 pleasure of

00:26:33.340 linking to

00:26:33.920 them.

00:26:34.160 And Facebook

00:26:34.520 said,

00:26:35.040 that makes

00:26:35.580 no sense.

00:26:36.540 We're getting

00:26:37.040 out of the

00:26:37.400 Canadian news

00:26:38.020 business.

00:26:38.380 You cannot

00:26:38.840 post a

00:26:39.460 Canadian news

00:26:40.100 story on

00:26:40.520 Facebook.

00:26:40.980 It blocks

00:26:41.380 it.

00:26:42.340 Trudeau's fine

00:26:42.960 with that

00:26:43.500 because that

00:26:44.400 hurts the

00:26:44.840 independent

00:26:45.300 guys like us.

00:26:46.000 You cannot

00:26:48.320 We're blocked

00:26:49.020 as are every

00:26:49.860 other Canadian

00:26:50.440 news source.

00:26:51.580 We are

00:26:51.900 becoming like

00:26:52.640 China in

00:26:53.280 that there's

00:26:53.640 this great

00:26:54.620 firewall of

00:26:55.540 Canada going

00:26:56.320 up.

00:26:56.640 Trudeau

00:26:56.880 would be

00:26:57.540 happy

00:26:58.120 shutting down

00:26:59.460 any independent

00:27:00.420 sources of

00:27:01.040 news.

00:27:01.860 Still,

00:27:02.120 there will

00:27:02.380 only be two

00:27:03.040 kinds of

00:27:03.580 journalists left

00:27:04.300 in Canada.

00:27:05.720 Government

00:27:06.240 journalists and

00:27:08.080 banned

00:27:08.760 journalists.

00:27:09.860 Glenn.

00:27:10.120 David Menzies

00:27:10.700 with Rebel

00:27:11.220 News and my

00:27:11.920 question is for

00:27:12.840 Mr.

00:27:13.380 Guibo.

00:27:15.000 Mr.

00:27:15.620 Guibo,

00:27:16.840 according to

00:27:17.800 this press

00:27:18.420 conference,

00:27:18.840 it looks like

00:27:19.360 this program is

00:27:21.020 available for

00:27:22.340 residents of the

00:27:23.280 city of

00:27:23.660 Peterborough.

00:27:24.660 In that

00:27:25.080 regard, it's

00:27:26.340 reminiscent of

00:27:27.520 the announcement

00:27:28.000 last fall that

00:27:29.040 only Atlantic

00:27:30.080 Canadians would

00:27:31.920 receive relief

00:27:33.380 from the

00:27:34.000 federal fuel

00:27:34.780 charge if they

00:27:35.940 heat their

00:27:36.840 homes with

00:27:38.080 heating oil.

00:27:39.400 Given that

00:27:40.040 your Prime

00:27:40.500 Minister once

00:27:41.920 said a

00:27:42.740 Canadian is a 0.96

00:27:43.520 Canadian is a 0.96

00:27:44.300 Canadian, why 1.00

00:27:45.600 is it that only

00:27:46.600 some Canadians

00:27:47.880 qualify for

00:27:49.060 relief and

00:27:50.100 others do

00:27:50.880 not?

00:27:51.500 Actually, the

00:27:52.140 premise of your

00:27:52.640 question is wrong.

00:27:54.560 The home

00:27:55.460 heating oil

00:27:56.060 rebate applies to

00:27:57.920 Canadians who

00:27:58.480 use heating oil

00:27:59.500 all across the

00:28:00.160 country.

00:28:00.560 And I'll give you

00:28:00.900 an example.

00:28:01.360 There are more

00:28:01.640 people who heat

00:28:02.640 their homes with

00:28:03.700 oil in Quebec

00:28:04.480 than in all of

00:28:05.300 Atlantic Canada.

00:28:06.140 So it's not a

00:28:06.640 project, it's not a

00:28:07.560 program that's

00:28:08.140 specific to

00:28:09.260 Atlantic Canadians.

00:28:10.440 What we're

00:28:10.720 announcing today is

00:28:11.740 a partnership with

00:28:12.660 the city of

00:28:13.040 Peterborough, but

00:28:13.680 we're announcing

00:28:14.140 similar partnerships.

00:28:15.500 And we've

00:28:15.760 heard from the

00:28:17.100 Canadian Federation

00:28:18.480 of Municipalities

00:28:19.200 that one in

00:28:20.120 2100's similar

00:28:22.040 programs have

00:28:23.300 been funded

00:28:23.820 through the

00:28:24.400 Green Municipal

00:28:24.960 Funds, and

00:28:25.480 we're hoping to

00:28:26.200 fund even more

00:28:27.420 with those type

00:28:28.340 of announcements.

00:28:29.400 Thank you.

00:28:30.300 There we go.

00:28:31.820 I get one right

00:28:37.460 over here, y'all.

00:28:39.020 Mr. Guibo, as

00:28:40.060 you walk to your

00:28:40.540 vehicle, can I

00:28:41.320 just grab a

00:28:42.220 ear?

00:28:42.760 Your government

00:28:43.360 wants Canadians

00:28:44.300 to buy pricey

00:28:45.800 EVs, to ride

00:28:47.220 bicycles, to

00:28:48.360 use public

00:28:48.900 transit, yet you

00:28:50.460 get chauffeured

00:28:51.100 around in

00:28:52.140 fossil fuel

00:28:52.840 vehicles.

00:28:53.860 Why the

00:28:54.220 double standard,

00:28:54.940 sir?

00:28:55.400 Oh, I took the

00:28:56.780 train Monday

00:28:57.600 morning from

00:28:58.380 Montreal to

00:28:59.120 Quebec City, and

00:29:00.020 then I took the

00:29:00.620 train back from

00:29:02.140 Quebec City to

00:29:02.900 Montreal, and

00:29:03.480 this morning I

00:29:04.280 took the train

00:29:05.000 from Montreal to

00:29:06.400 Oshawa, and

00:29:07.020 tomorrow I will be

00:29:07.820 taking the train

00:29:08.560 from Oshawa back

00:29:09.720 to Montreal.

00:29:10.920 How did you get

00:29:11.660 here today, sir, to

00:29:12.560 this residential

00:29:13.440 neighborhood?

00:29:14.140 So what I'm

00:29:14.840 saying is that I

00:29:15.620 tried to modulate my

00:29:17.460 transportation as

00:29:18.500 possible, to use

00:29:19.580 active transportation

00:29:20.760 when it's possible,

00:29:21.960 use public transit

00:29:22.920 when possible, and

00:29:24.220 to use a car, and

00:29:25.320 as you probably

00:29:25.940 know, my service

00:29:27.140 vehicle as

00:29:27.840 Environment and

00:29:28.440 Climate Change

00:29:28.920 Minister is a

00:29:30.180 fully electric

00:29:30.680 vehicle.

00:29:31.700 That's one of the

00:29:32.220 few for Cabinet,

00:29:34.980 I mean.

00:29:35.300 It's not all

00:29:36.180 vehicles now, all

00:29:37.140 Cabinet vehicles.

00:29:38.040 New purchases are

00:29:39.520 either fully electric

00:29:40.680 or are plug-in

00:29:42.800 hybrids.

00:29:43.820 And Mr.

00:29:44.080 Giebel, what were

00:29:44.660 you thinking last

00:29:45.380 week when you said

00:29:46.120 that the government

00:29:47.180 would no longer

00:29:48.040 invest in major

00:29:49.320 road projects, how

00:29:50.560 will Canadians get 0.90

00:29:51.380 around, how will

00:29:52.100 truckers get goods

00:29:53.520 to market without

00:29:54.420 roads?

00:29:55.000 I clarified that I

00:29:55.780 was speaking

00:29:56.200 specifically about

00:29:57.100 the project called

00:29:58.000 Troisième Lien in

00:29:59.300 Quebec City.

00:30:00.380 Just here in

00:30:01.420 Peterborough since

00:30:02.240 2015, we funded

00:30:03.360 18 road projects

00:30:05.180 representing more

00:30:06.500 than $20 million.

00:30:08.140 Now, is this a

00:30:09.060 vehicle you're

00:30:09.500 leaving in?

00:30:10.260 Now, the RAV4

00:30:11.360 comes as a plug-in

00:30:12.320 hybrid, I know 0.66

00:30:13.060 that, why is this

00:30:13.900 a full fossil fuel

00:30:15.160 gas burner?

00:30:15.920 Thank you very

00:30:16.340 much, it's a

00:30:16.880 hybrid.

00:30:17.740 This?

00:30:18.760 Not a plug-in

00:30:19.720 hybrid.

00:30:20.100 It's written here

00:30:20.740 hybrid.

00:30:21.380 But it doesn't

00:30:21.800 have a green plate,

00:30:22.620 sir.

00:30:27.140 You know who has

00:30:28.320 a plug-in hybrid,

00:30:29.260 folks?

00:30:30.120 Me and Lady

00:30:31.160 Menzite.

00:30:32.060 Is Britain still

00:30:33.060 safe for Jews?

00:30:35.300 Yes, but it's

00:30:36.260 tense.

00:30:36.980 It's very tense.

00:30:38.560 I mean, if there's

00:30:39.360 a march every

00:30:40.360 Saturday where there

00:30:42.200 are people calling 0.95

00:30:43.040 for your death and 0.98

00:30:43.700 destruction, you can't 0.68

00:30:44.840 say that that's a

00:30:45.740 happy society.

00:30:53.020 What brings you

00:30:53.700 out here today?

00:30:54.660 Well, Jay, the

00:30:56.000 shed guy, on Monday

00:30:58.300 is going to Ottawa

00:30:59.120 for his court case.

00:31:01.520 So we're just going

00:31:02.160 there to support him.

00:31:06.240 We are all here in

00:31:08.540 support of Jay.

00:31:09.620 Yay for Jay!

00:31:10.780 What made you go to

00:31:16.000 the convoy in the

00:31:16.560 first place?

00:31:18.180 Honestly, I was

00:31:18.920 sitting in an

00:31:19.440 excavator on a job

00:31:21.300 site, and I honestly

00:31:22.380 think it was the

00:31:22.980 Holy Spirit that just

00:31:24.200 told me, you got to go,

00:31:25.280 you got to say

00:31:25.840 something, stand up

00:31:27.420 for the others.

00:31:28.300 I was going to

00:31:29.300 go, you got to go.

00:31:30.300 I was going to go.

00:31:31.300 I was going to go.

00:31:32.300 I was going to go.

00:31:33.300 I was going to go.

00:31:34.300 I was going to go.

00:31:35.300 Calm down.

00:31:36.000 Calm down.

00:31:36.500 Calm down.

00:31:36.880 Everybody calm.

00:31:41.920 Pablo Rodriguez, do you

00:31:43.240 think that Mr. Trudeau

00:31:44.580 should resign and apologize

00:31:47.480 to Canadian for violating

00:31:50.980 constitutional rights of

00:31:52.660 Canadian?

00:31:53.260 I'm going to go.

00:31:54.500 You're going to go.

00:31:55.420 You're going to go.

00:31:56.180 It's more simple than

00:31:56.780 that.

00:31:56.900 Hmm.

00:31:57.940 You've got to go

00:31:58.060 baseline, right?

00:31:58.540 You've got to go.

00:31:58.760 You've got to go.

00:31:59.900 Well, excuse me.

00:32:00.700 Sorry.

00:32:00.760 You've got to do your

00:32:02.180 job of regarding

00:32:13.660 what the law is.

00:32:14.380 Um, we want to try with

00:32:15.780 the law and legal

00:32:17.080 正 .

00:32:18.100 Absolutely.

00:32:19.340 Can

00:32:20.840 say, what that was

00:32:23.060 done was reviewed

00:32:25.820 You don't have anything to say about that, for example.

00:32:29.900 OK.

00:32:32.960 It's quite clear to see where you're going to be.

00:32:37.960 It's called the discretionary power.

00:32:40.460 I'm not sure of it.

00:32:55.820 Of course, Mr. Trudeau is not answering any questions

00:33:07.360 since we are not deemed acceptable media.

00:33:11.360 So he looked at me with a smile.

00:33:14.040 Can you believe that the federal court has ruled

00:33:17.340 that the Emergencies Act was unconstitutional?

00:33:23.020 So that means that Mr. Trudeau did violating

00:33:27.620 the constitutional rights of Canadians.

00:33:30.460 And Mr. Trudeau is not answering a question regarding that.

00:33:35.400 How many truckers, how many Canadians were beat up

00:33:39.200 by RCMP and police and on an unconstitutional

00:33:46.280 and vocation of a law?

00:33:50.020 So you can see Mr. Trudeau is just in this suburban right there

00:33:55.260 and is not deemed to answer a question regarding that.

00:33:59.760 Mr. Trudeau, what do you think?

00:34:04.500 I would jump on the car?

00:34:06.060 Mr. Trudeau, the federal court has ruled

00:34:09.940 that the Emergencies Act was unconstitutional.

00:34:14.520 Would you apologize or resign to Canadians 0.99

00:34:18.260 for violating their rights?

00:34:27.740 Why is your government supporting Islamo Nazis? 0.99

00:34:31.500 What? Excuse me. Excuse me.

00:34:33.200 What are you doing? Don't...

00:34:34.600 You're under arrest for a service.

00:34:36.240 Why are you pushing me?

00:34:37.540 You cannot just say,

00:34:38.740 because I'm a police officer, I can do everything I want.

00:34:41.540 Aren't you insulted with Justin and them being in there

00:34:44.740 for that memorial?

00:34:46.580 Ms. Freeland, why are you running away?

00:34:48.320 Why this country is going to cross? 1.00

00:34:50.080 The fact that journalists are present

00:34:52.280 to hold governments to account

00:34:55.980 makes governments better.

00:34:58.220 Transparency builds citizens' faith and confidence

00:35:00.800 in their governments and in democracy.

00:35:03.160 That's why journalists must have the ability

00:35:05.440 to report facts freely and to defend, expose,

00:35:08.740 and advance the truth without fear of retaliation, reprisal,

00:35:13.120 violence, or imprisonment.

00:35:14.840 I mean, I know your government paid a terrorist,

00:35:17.540 our homegrown Al-Qaeda guy,

00:35:20.120 $10.5 million, Omar Khadar.

00:35:22.380 Did you support that?

00:35:24.520 I have no tolerance for people sympathize with terrorists.

00:35:28.900 Absolutely not. 0.98

00:35:29.900 Death to an entire group as a blanket statement

00:35:33.260 is absolutely wrong.

00:35:34.500 Yeah, some need help, but there's also stuff

00:35:36.460 that we don't want bringing here. 1.00

00:35:38.460 Civil society, pluralistic society is falling apart.

00:35:43.100 Oh, we're not part of the demonstrators, sir.

00:35:45.300 I know, but I was just explaining to them earlier.

00:35:47.700 Yeah.

00:35:48.540 You're recording, posted on social media.

00:35:50.040 People are going to come and be like,

00:35:51.180 well, they're standing on the bridge.

00:35:52.300 Why can't I stand on the bridge?

00:35:53.420 We have to be fair.

00:35:54.540 But we're not the pro-Hamas people chanting for genocide.

00:35:57.480 I understand.

00:35:58.720 You know, I'm sorry, I understand your position,

00:36:00.380 but we're not hanging banners and flags over the...

00:36:03.560 If you want to file a complaint, by all means,

00:36:05.980 go file a complaint.

00:36:06.940 But at this time, we've been directed that no one,

00:36:09.780 regardless of who you are, whether you're a journalist or not,

00:36:12.580 you're not to stand on that bridge.

00:36:13.780 If you don't agree with that, you're

00:36:15.480 more than welcome to go file a complaint, more than welcome.

00:36:17.600 So if he stands on the bridge, are you going to arrest him?

00:36:21.320 So we have authority for obstruct public and obstruct police.

00:36:25.900 If you stand on the bridge, you will be arrested, right?

00:36:28.400 So you can't be standing.

00:36:29.340 Really?

00:36:44.880 No, yo lo encontre por ahí, por, por Mexico.

00:36:47.920 Lo pregunté como es de mí.

00:36:49.900 Sí.

00:36:50.960 Que con gente que él había venido, se cruzaron, lo dejaron,

00:36:54.140 But it seems that he says he has a note, I don't know, he has a number.

00:36:58.540 Do you have someone who is going to respond to him?

00:37:01.140 I don't know, maybe some family here.

00:37:03.940 We are not from the same community or from the same place.

00:37:07.240 I'm from a village and he lives in the village.

00:37:11.040 The same area?

00:37:14.040 I don't know, I've never seen it.

00:38:52.840 Don't go away.

00:38:53.840 What is going on now?

00:38:54.840 What's the problem?

00:38:55.840 Guys, guys, guys, excuse me, we're trying to put him behind us.

00:38:56.840 Hey, hey, hey, that's my guy.

00:38:57.840 That's my guy.

00:38:58.840 Stop.

00:38:59.840 Stop.

00:39:00.840 Stop.

00:39:01.840 Stay back, guys. Stay back.

00:39:07.260 Stay back. Stop pushing forward.

00:39:10.560 Stay back.

00:39:12.920 Did you see what that showed?

00:39:15.080 There was a pro-Hamas protester.

00:39:18.180 You probably recognize him.

00:39:19.780 He's the guy who shouts hateful things at synagogues, at Jewish schools.

00:39:25.280 He's the one who has been leading the Hamas rallies around Toronto. 0.98

00:39:29.520 David was trying to interview him, and he said,

00:39:31.840 I'm going to pray in the middle of the street right now.

00:39:34.280 Okay, well, you go ahead. It's a public street.

00:39:36.640 David can stand there.

00:39:37.740 But no, the police came and pulled David off the street

00:39:43.140 as if it became suddenly a Sharia street, a mosque or something.

00:39:48.220 And then they later arrested him.

00:39:50.960 They claimed he didn't show his ID.

00:39:53.140 Hey, hey, hey. I'm far enough, buddy.

00:40:04.040 I think if you recorded, we've already warned you about it.

00:40:06.240 I'm not shoving you, sir. I'm standing here. You're impeding me.

00:40:09.080 I'm standing here already. You're on the bus.

00:40:10.240 Sir, I'm not violent.

00:40:11.120 Are you going to listen to me?

00:40:12.100 It's a police investigation.

00:40:13.120 Are you going to arrest me, too?

00:40:14.440 Don't get smart. I ask you to step away, okay?

00:40:16.560 What's your badge number?

00:40:17.320 731, sir.

00:40:18.200 Thanks, bud.

00:40:18.940 That's your bud.

00:40:20.300 Sir?

00:40:21.240 Sir, I can record my co-worker, right?

00:40:22.780 Do whatever you like.

00:40:23.660 Okay.

00:40:24.240 I've never repeated anything.

00:40:25.620 Watch.

00:40:25.980 It's what I tell you.

00:40:27.380 Are you listening or not?

00:40:28.220 That's better.

00:40:28.740 That's a good place.

00:40:29.720 Do your job.

00:40:30.360 I'll do mine, right?

00:40:32.000 Okay.

00:40:32.900 You're going to be under arrest for instructing police.

00:40:34.520 Here we go.

00:40:37.080 Hey.

00:40:37.860 Hey, stop.

00:40:38.440 That's my wallet.

00:40:39.500 You're under arrest for instructing police.

00:40:41.000 Here we go.

00:40:41.360 What is this?

00:40:42.000 I've asked you for identification numerous times.

00:40:44.300 You failed to identify yourself.

00:40:45.800 That's instructing police.

00:40:46.800 Alfred, can you grab my...

00:40:48.240 We'll get it, sir.

00:40:48.920 Don't worry.

00:40:49.400 Nobody will touch it.

00:40:50.660 We'll get your identification for you.

00:40:54.380 I think you guys are going to be hearing from our lawyers.

00:40:56.800 Yep.

00:40:56.940 Thank you.

00:41:02.000 Um, no.

00:41:06.580 Oh, sir.

00:41:07.120 My credit cards are all over.

00:41:08.260 I'll get them, sir.

00:41:09.080 Don't worry.

00:41:09.460 Nobody will touch your property.

00:41:11.140 Ian, walk him back behind the gate.

00:41:12.660 Thanks, brother.

00:41:14.880 You want him where, sir?

00:41:15.880 Keep him back behind the gate.

00:41:17.280 Yes, sir.

00:41:18.940 Thanks, guys.

00:41:25.660 Let's go.

00:41:26.040 Do you know what I mean?

00:41:27.500 How about this?

00:41:27.860 How about this?

00:41:28.080 Do you think you need to be establized?

00:41:30.960 Do you miss him again?

00:41:33.300 Yeah.

00:41:39.680 You miss him.

00:41:40.660 Oh, look.

00:41:41.740 The

00:41:51.080 Men's uses here. 0.57

00:42:21.080 i promise you on behalf of our viewers that we will not only defend you against their

00:42:34.760 bullshit charges but we will take the fight for them and see them for not only towards

00:42:41.960 the community against you and also the charge of our nation i'm so sorry you went through this 0.81

00:42:46.760 and i thank you on behalf of our company and our viewers ezra it was a surreal experience i'm so

00:42:53.320 sorry you and deferent have wasted hours of your night here and um it was the least thing i expected

00:43:00.760 you know it was verified um the pro homos people they can be violent and we were talking in the 1.00

00:43:07.800 morning meeting um we're not sure we have enough time to get security and i said oh well the prime

00:43:13.400 minister there there'll be security glory there'll be rcmp there'll be police uh we don't need security

00:43:20.600 and i was thinking in terms of being protected from hamas i didn't think the police would do a

00:43:27.560 stitch up to him again it's deja vu from january well we got it on tape efron was there and he

00:43:34.040 we have to get on tape where the police grabbed you and pulled you out

00:43:51.880 excuse me we're trying to put him behind it hey hey that's my guy that's my guy

00:43:55.720 we have the false arrest itself we'll be under arrest for instructing police here we go

00:44:12.840 you're under arrest for instructing police there we go what is this i've asked you for identification

00:44:16.600 numerous times you failed to identify yourself that's instructing police can you grab my

00:44:21.560 i still get it sir don't worry nobody will touch it we'll get your identification for you

00:44:27.800 okay i think you guys are going to be hearing from our lawyers

00:44:34.200 i'm looking at my watch it's 12 18 a.m you've been arrested for i think you've been in custody for

00:44:41.960 four hours or so that sounds right now were you physically hurt during the arrest you know i'm not

00:44:49.000 i don't think so i mean i've got this screwed up shoulder but you know that's been an ongoing

00:44:53.720 issue but uh no i can't say that but again ezra it it's not the assault oh i know it's your freedom

00:45:01.480 of the press but also your freedom of religion why should you have to move because some guy says

00:45:06.600 this is holy sidewalk what your freedom of mobility to move around it's all violated not by the hamas guys 1.00

00:45:13.720 but by the police yeah and you know it's amazing the reason why we're there is is that we were asking

00:45:20.760 the pro hamas people on the other side of the hordandoff area by the police uh you know to get

00:45:26.760 comments and then we knew the anti-trudeau people were on the other side led up by derek constant fixture

00:45:35.400 so we went there to interview him um that happened to be where this impromptu prayer session

00:45:41.720 uh was going to take place and i say it was going to take place because they weren't

00:45:46.440 in any kind of prayer when i got there that they don't these stuff it was it was a ruse yeah and and

00:45:52.840 i was looking for derek and then i recognized the individual who had stolen uh lincoln jay's camera

00:46:00.200 rather than one yeah he's the thud he's the leader of these hamas thugs he seems to be giving the orders

00:46:06.040 these days the law enforcement well i mean if he doesn't have them delivering coffee to him

00:46:10.200 yeah he's giving the mortars yeah i got one more question before i forget what was the what was

00:46:15.800 the cell you were in like and i know you've been arrested before for example in montreal just tell

00:46:21.080 me what it was like in the holding cell you know it was cleaner than montreal i will say this is right you

00:46:27.080 know um they say time flies when having fun when you are sitting in a concrete cell and you don't

00:46:35.480 have a book or a magazine or a cell phone um time crawls at a snail's pace that's the first thing the

00:46:42.360 second thing is it's just a sanitary issue there is a toilet right beside that little you know concrete 0.89

00:46:48.280 bed but there's no worm water there's no soap there's no toilet you know and uh toilet i know i i

00:46:57.480 don't understand and um it there was it looked like somebody had taken paper towels and put some

00:47:05.640 sticky stuff on it and had thrown it up to the ceiling because well you're lying there and you

00:47:10.440 have nothing to do you're looking at the ceiling and there's all this all these like paper towels

00:47:15.000 that have hit it's so gross and you know it's it's it's that way on purpose as a kind of humiliation

00:47:21.560 how are the police themselves i mean we saw uh some of the folks who arrested you

00:47:26.840 how were you treated when you were brought here and when you were put in the cell they were friendly

00:47:31.480 i will say they were doing their job and you got a phone call from the lawyer leora shemesh i did

00:47:36.040 indeed okay and did she uh how much how long did you speak with her for probably a good five or six

00:47:43.160 minutes okay and she basically said she'll be representing me and um you know take the paperwork

00:47:49.160 in which i have and um she'll go to the court so we crowdfunded leora shemesh we did a quick video 1.00

00:47:56.840 oh okay and i want to say thanks to viewers who have shipped in at stanwithdavid.com we're not just

00:48:04.520 going to play defense on this i'm sick of this yeah i'm and i can only imagine you're sick of it we're 0.64

00:48:09.880 going to sue the toronto police because they have become politicized and biased there's two-tier policing

00:48:17.160 they are violating the charter rights of journalists and no one has said no to them yet not the mayor

00:48:25.960 not the police chief um not the toronto star so we're going to say no to them we're going to ask

00:48:33.320 a judge to say no and we've done this before for other journalists our friend avi immediate australia

00:48:40.440 he was falsely arrested again and again and again until we see the police and they actually wrote

00:48:46.920 him a lengthy apology we're suing the rcmp we're going to sue the toronto police and and we will

00:48:55.880 not abide the abuse from the hamas thugs nor will we abide it from the toronto police and i want to

00:49:04.280 tell you that i don't want to keep you longer let's have you had a chance to call your wife since you

00:49:09.240 got out you know i'm sure she wants to get a call from you we'll let you go because it's it's really

00:49:15.560 late yeah um i would just say to our viewers at home and around the world uh 200 000 people have

00:49:23.880 watched the video of your arrest in the last hour so people are outraged as they should be

00:49:31.320 on behalf of rebel news and myself i want to thank people for standing with david and i pledge to you

00:49:36.840 that we will not stop simply with his um acquittal we will continue thereafter to go after the police

00:49:46.920 until a judge puts them in the right place last question what were you charged with it was you

00:49:52.920 know what um i think it was causing a disturbance and you're at a hamas intifada near riot and they

00:50:00.760 charged you with cause yeah and um let's see um this is the detective that we have to deal with ezra

00:50:09.960 and also the second charge was um violating my peace bond uh based on the fake arrest of um

00:50:19.720 the lcbo manager ashley metella who falsely accused me of assault so i had to sign a peace bond which

00:50:26.120 struck peace officer breach of peace bond yeah absolutely outrageous and i and i we're not

00:50:32.200 going to let this stand we're going we're not going to let toronto turn into jazz david let's get you

00:50:37.160 calling your wife okay and we'll say good night and thanks to our viewers thank you efren thank you everybody

00:50:52.040 well that's our show for the day until next time on behalf of all of us here at rebel world
