Rebel News Podcast - EZRA LEVANT ｜ The Liberals hit their lowest polling numbers ever since they took office

00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. I have some good news for those who follow opinion polls, and I think we all do

00:00:04.580 because we're all trying to figure out what the future holds. A poll doesn't tell us about the

00:00:08.860 future. It's a snapshot in time now, but you can see trends. And the new poll by Abacus Data

00:00:13.860 suggests that the conservatives, well, they're doing better than ever against the liberals.

00:00:18.020 I'll take you through the numbers, but first let me invite you to become a subscriber to Rebel News

00:00:21.460 Plus. That's the video version of this podcast. Just go to rebelnewsplus.com, click subscribe,

00:00:31.560 has a weekly show, and I'd like you to think of that eight bucks as a way of keeping Rebel News

00:00:35.740 strong because we don't take any dough from Trudeau. That's why we can be so honest and independent,

00:00:40.620 and eight bucks might not sound like a lot of dough to you, but it adds up for us. So please

00:00:44.580 consider going to rebelnewsplus.com, clicking subscribe. You'll get that great video content,

00:00:49.780 and you'll also get the satisfaction in knowing that you're helping us go. All right, here's today's

00:00:55.580 podcast. Tonight, the liberals hit their lowest polling numbers ever since Trudeau took office,

00:01:17.780 at least. I'll show you the stats. It's June 14th, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.

00:01:22.540 We're ready for freedom! 0.82

00:01:25.580 Shame on you, you censorious bug!

00:01:37.160 You know, the other day someone said, Ezra, Rebel News is too negative. You're so negative all the 0.95

00:01:42.300 time. And I was, you know, defiant at first, but then I thought about it. I thought, no,

00:01:46.740 I guess we are negative, but that's because the news, by definition, is about controversy or conflict.

00:01:52.340 We're talking about the Ukraine-Russia war because there's a war there. We don't talk about the

00:01:58.180 France-England war because there's no war. There's really nothing to say. And a lot of these 0.53

00:02:04.380 controversies, you know, there is good and evil at play, and we like to root for the side we think

00:02:09.360 is good, and the other side is their opinions. But by definition, I think news is conflict-oriented.

00:02:13.800 But I take the point. I mean, sometimes it's stressful. You don't want to hear about every

00:02:17.700 problem. You want to respite sometimes. And so today, I'm going to have some news that I would

00:02:23.100 call calming or positive. And then as soon as I thought of that, I thought, well, the other side,

00:02:27.780 liberals or leftists, will find this news stressful. But my point is today, I think I have a little bit

00:02:35.140 of good news, at least for people who think of themselves as freedom-oriented and conservative-oriented.

00:02:40.700 And it's in the form of a public opinion poll. So it's not a huge reason to feel positive, but it's

00:02:46.340 a little data point, as they say. And I refer to the new poll by Abacus Data. It's historically a

00:02:53.840 liberal firm. You may know it was founded, and I think it was chaired at first, by Bruce Anderson,

00:03:00.180 senior Trudeau liberal. On its board is Perry Tsurgis, to this day, senior Trudeau liberal.

00:03:05.680 But I think they do try to be accurate. I think all pollsters want to be accurate.

00:03:11.240 If you're way off, and then an election comes and shows what the actual stats are,

00:03:16.580 you can't do that too many times before people don't believe in you. So

00:03:19.740 I think most pollsters genuinely do want to be accurate. But of course, the devil is in the details.

00:03:26.220 Let me give you an example. I mean, doesn't it all come down to how the questions are phrased?

00:03:30.420 If you said, do you support taking climate action to fight the climate crisis? You're probably going

00:03:37.920 to get a larger response saying, yes, then should we increase the carbon tax next year,

00:03:45.060 even if it means $173 more you pay in taxes? You see what I mean? Same thing you're testing. It's

00:03:52.620 really you're testing the language and people's reaction to it. So the devil is in the details.

00:03:56.660 But I like looking at abacus, partly because I know their chief statistician, David Coletta,

00:04:03.180 who's a good egg. But because of their establishment liberal roots, I put some faith in them when they

00:04:11.480 criticize their side of the aisle. It's like dog bites man, that's not news, but man bites dog,

00:04:18.300 that is news. That comes back to the controversy again, doesn't it? It's the same reason I quote the

00:04:22.720 New York Times for things that are positive about Republicans or negative about Democrats because

00:04:28.400 you know if the New York Times, the ultimate Democrat machine, is saying so. Well, it's got to be true 0.97

00:04:34.520 because they don't like to say so. Here's the latest report from abacus. And you'll remember I

00:04:39.640 showed you one graph just the other day from this. The story on the abacus data website is

00:04:46.100 Canadian politics. There's a broad desire for change, but discomfort with alternatives. Abacus

00:04:53.000 data poll. Let me read a little bit here. From June 6 to 11, abacus data conducted a national survey of

00:05:01.720 2,000 adults. And such a fair sample size. I showed you this one the other day. Overall, 81% of Canadians

00:05:11.680 believe it is time for a change in government. 20% believe Justin Trudeau and the liberals deserve to

00:05:18.820 be reelected. But among the 81% who want change, 31% say there isn't a good alternative to the liberals

00:05:24.480 they're comfortable with. It's an interesting nuance, isn't it? But still, 81% wanting change.

00:05:31.180 That's an astonishing number. And you know it pains a liberal firm to say so. Let me read a little bit

00:05:37.600 more. Among those who want change and think there's a good alternative, 56% would vote conservative.

00:05:44.720 25% NDP and 6% would vote liberal. Yeah, I don't even know how you get changed by voting liberal.

00:05:50.120 That's sort of odd. And I don't think we should be too surprised that 56% of people who want to throw

00:05:57.040 out the liberals would vote conservative. If they wanted NDP, well, they got that now, don't they,

00:06:02.080 with Jagmeet Singh, who literally will say yes to anything Trudeau demands to be part of the

00:06:07.940 coalition. I don't even know what he gets in return other than he doesn't lose his seat in a new

00:06:12.100 election. Here, I'll read some more. Among the 31% who want change but don't think there's a good

00:06:19.120 alternative they're comfortable with, 33% would vote liberal, 22% NDP, 90% conservative, and 14%

00:06:26.460 Bloc Québécois. Again, I think that's to be expected. I mean, if you don't like the liberals

00:06:32.640 but are going to stick with them anyways, you're probably not a conservative booster.

00:06:36.620 Let me read just a little more. Despite the desire for change, 46% of adults say they would

00:06:41.880 consider voting liberal an accessible voter pool that hasn't changed much over the past two and a

00:06:48.960 half years. This means while there is a desire for change, many haven't completely closed the door to

00:06:55.120 voting liberal. And again, that rings true. I mean, I think there's a lot of people who don't like

00:07:02.240 Trudeau deeply. They despise him. I think it's sort of like if you were never that into someone,

00:07:08.700 you know, you're not that into disliking them. But if you were a fan, if you were emotionally

00:07:14.520 invested in Trudeau and then feel like he broke your heart, then maybe you hate him. So 46% of people

00:07:20.680 are open to the possibility of voting liberal, that means 54% would never, ever, ever consider it. I

00:07:28.020 think that rings true also. I think a lot of people have fallen out of love. And I'll talk about that

00:07:32.100 in a little bit with British Columbia. There's a graph here that shows party support over time.

00:07:38.300 And they say if an election was held today, the conservatives would get 35% up to since mid-May,

00:07:45.480 the liberals at 28%, down to the NDP at 21%, up three with the bloc at 7% nationally. Numerically,

00:07:53.480 this is the lowest we've had the liberals over the past year. I think that's very interesting. And it's

00:08:00.360 a wide enough margin to be beyond the margin of error. Look at BC there. I think that's very

00:08:07.340 interesting. Liberals are at 22% in BC, deep in third place. And it makes me think, is that the

00:08:16.140 Jody Wilson-Raybould effect? Because I think that's what broke BC's affection for Trudeau.

00:08:22.020 When he had her as sort of his BC captain, and when he trusted her and associated with her,

00:08:28.520 she looked good, sounded good, indigenous woman, smart, very ethical. You could disagree with some

00:08:36.060 her policies, and I certainly did. But I think she was an outstanding representative of BC. And then

00:08:42.320 he threw her out, not because she was bad, but because she was good. Because she was the most

00:08:50.400 honest person in cabinet who would not let some of Trudeau's cronies off the hook in a criminal trial.

00:08:56.120 The way he threw her out, and how it showed that all of his lovey-dovey talk about indigenous people 1.00

00:09:04.100 was just BS. I think that is a permanent wound to the Liberal Party in BC, and it certainly looks that way.

00:09:13.280 The conservatives are surprisingly strong out there to me, and 8% is siphoned off to the Green Party.

00:09:19.140 Maybe enough to win one or two seats. In the past, sometimes the Greens, if it's a strategic voting

00:09:27.000 time, come back to the fold. I don't know if that's going to happen this time for the reason I just

00:09:31.660 mentioned. I think people have fallen out of love with Trudeau, young people, minorities,

00:09:37.700 indigenous people, some environmentalists. So I think that they will continue to vote Green 0.96

00:09:42.080 as a kind of protest. It's very interesting to me. You know, you can see there the prairies

00:09:46.940 are a total CPC wipeout for the other parties. I mean, look at how strong it is. When you have

00:09:54.140 that kind of vote, you're picking up almost all the seats. Look at the PPC, the People's Party,

00:09:58.220 Maxine Bernie's Party, at 4%. That's around where you might expect them to be. And again,

00:10:04.080 will that make a difference in a few ridings? If there's some ridings in districts where the Liberals

00:10:10.920 and the NDP and the CPC are within a few percent, and the PPC gets 4% or 5% or 10%,

00:10:16.540 could make a difference. We'll see what happens in that upcoming Manitoba by-election where Maxine

00:10:21.600 Bernier himself is running. If he were to win, I think that would change a lot of things. But

00:10:26.740 I think that's an uphill battle in a long shot. Obviously, Ontario is the battleground. It just

00:10:32.360 has so many seats. And it's tied, basically, the Conservatives and the Liberals. But if you write

00:10:40.520 off the deep Toronto downtown where the Conservatives have never won in decades, and because the Liberals

00:10:48.260 might win and might win with a supermajority, but they only win the riding once, I think that

00:10:53.820 these numbers suggest that the CPC, the Conservative Party of Canada, has a real chance to rack up a lot

00:10:59.500 of wins, not only in the rural parts, but in the suburbs. It's just my own personal analysis. In Quebec,

00:11:04.700 it seems to me like it's Liberal Montreal versus the Bloc in the rural parts in Quebec City. I don't

00:11:10.900 think the CPC, the Conservative Party, will punch through in many places. They really never have.

00:11:15.900 Atlantic Canada is pretty strong Liberal. It's really their last dominant place in the country,

00:11:21.920 the last region where they're strong. But the chance of Conservative wins there, it's certainly

00:11:26.860 not going to be that one time like Trudeau swept the Atlantic provinces. That's definitely not going to

00:11:31.920 happen. I think there is a wild card, and here's what it is. When a pollster asks you how you're

00:11:39.220 going to vote, you know it's a hypothetical. Nothing turns on it. And so you can indulge your

00:11:46.140 conscience and say, well, I really like the NDP, or I really like the Greens, or I really like the

00:11:51.660 People's Party. Because you know that it's just a simulation. You're just telling a pollster that.

00:11:59.140 But in a campaign, if it's close, will those smaller parties hold their votes, or will they

00:12:08.180 coalesce around a safe second choice? If you look at the Alberta provincial election not too long ago,

00:12:17.400 that's exactly what happened. Danielle Smith pretty much held the Conservative vote that Jason 1.00

00:12:22.220 Guinea got a few years ago. But all the small parties in the left shrunk down well beneath 1%,

00:12:29.000 and they all coalesced around the NDP. They all said, anybody but the Conservatives. And they looked

00:12:34.700 around, and Rachel Notley's NDP were the choice, and so they went for it. Will that happen here?

00:12:41.840 If it's a Pierre Polyev versus Justin Trudeau battle royal, and if the media succeeds, as I'm sure

00:12:49.540 they'll try to paint Polyev as a demonic, dangerous choice, you might well see some of the NDP voters 0.95

00:12:57.480 and the Green voters say, you know what, I'd like to vote NDP or Green, but we just have to vote

00:13:03.360 strategically and stop Pierre Polyev at all costs. I could picture that happening. And Jagmeet Singh

00:13:09.240 certainly hasn't made a name for himself. He's basically been a Me Too for Justin Trudeau the whole

00:13:13.860 time. So it's possible to see these NDP numbers collapse towards the Liberals. I mean, it's hard

00:13:20.580 to think how Justin Trudeau hasn't co-opted every single NDP policy from spending to taxing to

00:13:27.260 environmental extremism to transgenderism. I mean, really, what has Trudeau not done that the NDP 0.99

00:13:33.300 would propose to do? I want to show you a chart I find hopeful. Look at this chart here of who would

00:13:39.160 vote for the parties by age. More conservative voters in the under 30s than liberals. Do you

00:13:46.380 even remember that happening before? Yeah, there's a lot of NDP youth also, given how woke our schools

00:13:51.660 are. But for the conservatives to lead the liberals in people who are under 30, I think that's new.

00:13:57.980 The 30 to 44s, that's young families trying to pay the bills. The conservatives have a slight edge over

00:14:03.860 the liberals. And that rises with age. As people have something to lose, as people acquire property,

00:14:10.080 are worried about crime, have families, are worried about their kids, the more seasoned a voter becomes,

00:14:15.040 the more likely they're going to vote conservative. The more likely they're going to vote at all,

00:14:20.160 actually. I want to show you something I thought was interesting also. And I hope you don't mind me

00:14:23.980 going so deep into this poll. I just found it interesting because whenever the liberal pollster

00:14:28.960 says things are looking bad for the liberals, I want to see what motivates them to say that because

00:14:34.100 they're playing against type, aren't they? So this chart shows party leader impressions.

00:14:41.060 Trudeau's negatives keep on growing. He certainly had a very long honeymoon. But like I said before,

00:14:48.100 you know, friends come and go, but enemies accumulate. I think more and more people see through

00:14:53.560 Justin Trudeau or at least feel like maybe he deceived them. Now, Polioff too. His negatives are

00:14:58.580 growing, but his positives are growing too. I think that's another way of saying he's becoming better

00:15:03.200 known when he was chosen leader by the party. I don't think he was that well known, but his strong

00:15:09.900 presence on social media. And I think he's been doing a good job in parliament. So people don't

00:15:14.880 like him, but more and more people do like him. Now, here's what I think is sort of goofy is Jagmeet Singh

00:15:20.120 has a positive impression, but I just don't think he's a serious factor. And that's my fear,

00:15:25.880 actually. You tell me, when was the last time Jagmeet Singh said anything that you can remember

00:15:32.460 what he said, other than he's going to support Trudeau no matter what? Like, has he taken a stand

00:15:37.400 on any policy that you remember? Has he taken a stand on any event? Has he made a proposal of any

00:15:45.440 sort that you can remember? Or is it all just sort of background mumbling? I certainly can't hear it.

00:15:52.640 I mean, maybe it's enough that he sort of looks cool and looks diverse and maybe people will vote

00:15:57.840 for him just for that. But I don't know if they're going to, if they're that soft and emotional,

00:16:03.520 they're probably going to vote for the drama teacher, Justin Trudeau. But I think it's hopeful.

00:16:09.220 This poll is hopeful. And I think this trend is fairly solid. It's not a little blip.

00:16:14.540 Now, Pierre Polyev has basically led the polls since he became leader. And for the first time

00:16:21.420 in memory, the media is actually criticizing Trudeau. Now, their criticisms these days

00:16:27.040 are mainly about China influence. And some people just don't care about that. Some people care more

00:16:33.940 about pocketbook issues, about unemployment, jobs and the cost of living and inflation. Those are all

00:16:39.220 real issues. But it's interesting to me that the media has turned on Trudeau in a way, again,

00:16:45.580 not so much because the China issue resonates with voters, but because the media, well, the media was

00:16:51.160 always Trudeau's biggest supporters. And maybe they themselves are finally falling out of love.

00:16:57.840 Stay with us for more.

00:17:11.500 Well, there are interesting people anywhere and everywhere. And if you don't think so,

00:17:17.820 maybe you're not interesting. There's fascinating details about every person you meet. But I believe

00:17:24.000 that there are more interesting people per capita in the United Kingdom than almost anywhere else. In

00:17:31.300 fact, I think despite its woke culture, it still values individuals who have idiosyncrasies, who are

00:17:40.000 clever in certain ways. I feel that whenever I go to that country. And one of the most interesting

00:17:45.260 people in the United Kingdom, in my opinion, is a man named Lawrence Fox. He's an actor. In fact,

00:17:51.620 he recently played Hunter Biden in fellow McAleer's movie, My Son Hunter. He's the leader of a political

00:17:57.480 party called the Reclaim Party. He's a journalist. He's a commentator on GB News. I don't know how

00:18:02.900 he has time to do it all. And now he is running in the by-election to succeed Boris Johnson,

00:18:10.200 the former prime minister in the district of Uxbridge. What a pleasure to catch up

00:18:14.860 with Lawrence Fox. Lawrence, great to see you again. I hope you don't mind my flattery. I don't know

00:18:20.360 even if it is flattery. I think there are more colourful characters in the UK than other places

00:18:25.440 because you're still allowed to be a colourful character in the UK. Am I wrong on that?

00:18:31.140 Just about. Yeah. You know, just about, Ezra. As you saw yesterday with the way that our wonderful,

00:18:39.180 beautiful flag, which both of my grandfathers were wounded fighting for, is being replaced all the way

00:18:45.780 down the main shopping street in London with this vile progressive migraine flag. And the Union Jack

00:18:52.160 was cast to the ground. So I've got a feeling we're under occupation, actually, in the UK. I'm not sure

00:18:57.440 you are able to be yourself, you know, as much as we were in the past. You know, I want to show that

00:19:04.200 video you're talking about. You know, Pride Month, or as Justin Trudeau says in Canada, Pride Season.

00:19:11.040 So I guess we've got three months of it here. In London, it really is rampant. I want to show a

00:19:17.000 video that speaks for itself here. Take a look at this. This is what you were referring to about

00:19:21.940 flags coming down. Take a look.

00:19:23.580 You're taking the wrong fucking flag down, mate. 0.99

00:19:38.720 I don't know that. 0.99

00:19:41.200 At least you know that.

00:19:42.540 100%.

00:19:43.480 You know what's sort of heartbreaking about that video, Lawrence, is that the working class 1.00

00:19:51.440 blokes who are taking down the Union Jack.

00:19:55.240 They know what they're doing is wrong. They know it offends them.

00:20:00.280 They say, yeah, we're taking the wrong one down. By the way, they drop it on the ground, which I think

00:20:03.940 is a shame. But they do it anyways. And I saw some commentary on Twitter, people saying, well, listen,

00:20:09.460 they got to pay the bills. They got to raise their family. They don't want to get fired.

00:20:13.440 I don't know. I think there's something deeply depressing about people who say, yes, I know what I'm doing

00:20:17.220 is wrong, but I will take down the flag of my own country and drop it in the dirt because the high

00:20:21.400 Epps told me to. I think that was a very sad scene there.

00:20:25.320 It was a tragic scene. And, you know, it's this amazing thing about the progressive woke movement

00:20:32.200 and the child mutilation, child sacrifice movement is it hides behind homosexuality. 0.88

00:20:38.060 So essentially, if you criticize it and you've got a problem with, you know, child mutilation and 0.55

00:20:43.500 transgenderism in general, which is, in my view, satanic, the minute you criticize it, you're called 0.87

00:20:49.440 a homophobe, which you're not, because most people in Britain are hugely tolerant and supportive

00:20:54.280 of gay and lesbian rights. Hard fought for over the years. But, you know, we've seen over the last

00:20:59.180 three years, over lockdowns and over mandatory vaccines and various things, that there is an

00:21:04.400 overwhelming cowardice within the population. And people are terrified of the repercussions of

00:21:10.120 standing up and saying no. So what we're witnessing here with the flying of this

00:21:14.280 this grotesque artifice, political artifice of a flag, which is spreading around the West is a sin

00:21:20.820 of omission rather than a sin of commission. And, you know, anyone in my view, anyone who walks under

00:21:27.300 it and who doesn't do anything they can to remove it is complicit in it, really. And I know that puts

00:21:32.960 people in a very difficult position. But if we don't draw the line somewhere and say, look, this is

00:21:37.660 not a flag men and women have served under. This is not a man, a flag that men and women have died

00:21:43.120 for. This flag is a political artifice to bring in, you know, a sort of centralized secular set of

00:21:48.680 values that actually, not only do I not agree with them, I stand wholeheartedly against every single 0.92

00:21:55.140 thing that that vile, disgusting flag stands for. The division of people down the lines of sexuality and

00:22:00.640 race, among many, many other things. It's the most regressive, horrible thing done in the name of 1.00

00:22:06.840 kindness and inclusion. You know, a few months ago, I visited Oxford University for the first time since

00:22:11.780 I was a teenager. And it's an incredible edifice. It's an incredible monument to civilization and

00:22:20.720 education. And it's very exciting to be in that city of learning. But it was immediately obvious to

00:22:28.320 me that every building, every college, the only flags flying from this university were those pride

00:22:38.500 flags, not just gay pride, the traditional rainbow, the LGBTQ2SL+, like the trans stuff. Every building

00:22:49.040 had the trans flag flying over them. I couldn't find a single building in Oxford that had the Union

00:22:56.240 Jack flying, not one. And I went into the main bookstore in Oxford. And the first thing you're

00:23:04.040 greeted with when you walked in is a table with maybe 50 books on transgenderism. And I agree with

00:23:11.680 you. This is very different than I think what used to be called gay rights. I think there's broad support

00:23:16.780 for gay rights across the West. But I think what happened is the LGB has been hijacked by the TSLQ2+. Like 1.00

00:23:28.460 it's almost ridiculous now. And I think that's what you're saying. Am I right? When you talk about 0.89

00:23:34.340 child manipulation, you're talking about cutting off body parts because some guidance counselor whips up 0.96

00:23:41.400 a confused teenager. I think that's what you're talking about. Am I right? Yeah, it is. The thing

00:23:47.280 about gay and lesbian people is it's love, right? It's love. It may be between two people of the same

00:23:54.000 sex and some people may have an issue with that. That's fine. I also don't mind that if people have

00:23:58.140 an issue with that. But ultimately, it's a love-based thing. Transgenderism is satanic because it's about 1.00

00:24:04.160 mutilating healthy bodies that wouldn't be mutilated in any other situation whatsoever. 0.99

00:24:10.620 So yeah, absolutely. What it's done, like this horrible, progressive, woke, nihilistic movement

00:24:17.940 it does, is it like a virus? It infects the cell. So it infects the cell of race, for example. It uses 0.73

00:24:24.580 race to further its cause by saying, you know, dividing people again down the lines of race. It used

00:24:30.280 B2 as a way of doing it. And now it's settled on transgenderism. But fortunately, it's not, 1.00

00:24:36.820 transgenderism is not a 50, 49, 51 issue. It's an 80, 20 issue at best. So our friends on the

00:24:45.540 progressive left have overstepped, as you can see, with all the boycotts in America. And certainly

00:24:51.040 what's going on here is for the, you know, this time last year, I posted four pride flags together

00:24:56.060 to form a swastika, because that's exactly what it is. It's a flag that you cannot criticise. 0.94

00:25:02.660 It's not been voted for by the public or supported by the public. And I was removed from social media

00:25:08.660 and forced to apologise. This year, people have come out and are posting the same thing. And it's not,

00:25:14.780 it's not a homophobic attack to criticise transgenderism. It's to protect children. What

00:25:19.660 comes after that? What comes after that is the minor attracted person, the paedophile. And you know,

00:25:26.260 as Tucker Carlson said on his, one of his broadcasts the other day, these are taboos in society. There's

00:25:31.440 a reason why we do not allow sex between adults and children. It's a taboo. And it's a taboo for a

00:25:38.360 reason. And for some reason, the progressive left think that these boundaries should be pushed. And

00:25:43.580 in the course of liberalism. And actually, it's not. It's satanism, in my view.

00:25:48.260 Well, it's, it's stunning how this transgenderism movement have come from the fringest of the fringes 1.00

00:25:56.000 a decade ago. I mean, it was barely a decade ago that transgenderism was regarded as a mental illness 0.55

00:26:03.920 by the American Psychiatric Association. But they had a vote, like a committee had a vote. And they just

00:26:10.160 said, no, we're not going to call that illness anymore. And then you had a few cultural vanguards. 0.94

00:26:15.620 You had, you know, a TV show called Transparent. And you had Bruce Jenner, call himself Caitlyn Jenner.

00:26:21.380 You had a few, you know, the camel put the nose in the tent. And then the floodgates opened. I mean,

00:26:27.460 what's so incredible is the flag, the meaning of that flag, especially the transgenderism flag,

00:26:35.140 it's not, do you tolerate other people? It's, are you in sync with our agenda, including,

00:26:41.660 as you say, the mutilation of children? And it's like, salute the flag or be fired. They recently

00:26:48.400 sacked a major league ballplayer here in Toronto, because he dared say he wasn't with the program.

00:26:55.200 They first they humiliated him, and then they sacked him. I don't know how, how do you think

00:26:59.980 this, do you think this will register in an election? You're running in the by-election

00:27:05.980 to succeed Boris Johnson. Are any people talking about this? It seems to me this is one of those

00:27:12.600 issues that sometimes called the under news. Mickey Kaus calls it the under news. Lots of people are

00:27:18.240 talking about it around the water cooler, around the coffee machine, but they don't talk about it

00:27:23.900 noisily because they'll get in trouble. It's not reported maybe in the pages of the newspaper,

00:27:28.540 but people talk about it one-on-one when they feel safe. Is this issue gonna move the needle at all

00:27:34.900 in your by-election in Uxbridge? Well, listen, there's going to, the Conservatives and Labour as

00:27:42.160 across the world, Conservative parties and more liberal left-leaning parties are the same thing

00:27:47.980 nowadays. They're exactly the same thing. They push the same agenda, be it over the climate,

00:27:52.200 be it over immigration, and be it over this child sacrifice. So I don't care 0.99

00:27:57.420 about anything other than to offer voters, as one always should, an alternative. So yeah,

00:28:04.780 I think they're not, these things haven't maybe yet bubbled to the surface, but any

00:28:09.400 Conservative-minded person who wishes to hold on to their culture and protect the value of their

00:28:14.040 culture, certainly their own flag, without, you know, we're shamed in this country for supporting

00:28:18.620 the Union Jack, and yet they fly this migraine flag everywhere. And as you say, if you don't worship 0.57

00:28:23.440 at the altar of it, you're cancelled, removed, othered, and labelled, any variety of things.

00:28:29.160 I want to talk, to say the quiet part out loud in this by-election, which is to turn around and say

00:28:35.080 we have an uncontrolled immigration problem in our country. We had over 700,000 migrants into this

00:28:41.520 country. We've had yesterday, we had, in France last week, we had an attack on children in a

00:28:48.380 playground by a mentally ill migrant. We've just had a mentally ill migrant murder innocent young 1.00

00:28:54.580 students and people at a bus stop in Nottingham in the United Kingdom yesterday. We do not take

00:29:00.280 our immigration problem in this country seriously. And the Conservative government promised in their 1.00

00:29:04.240 2019 manifesto that they would reduce immigration to the tens of thousands. I've just overseen the

00:29:09.720 biggest year of immigration in British history. So I am sorry, that is not, that is a big issue for

00:29:16.240 the people of this country. The newspapers may not wish to talk about it and the Conservatives may

00:29:19.420 not wish to talk about it, but I'm going to talk about it. I'm also going to talk about the fact

00:29:23.240 that this climate scam, which is being foisted on us day in, day out, all of the parties have this

00:29:28.700 embedded into their manifestos that we're heading towards five minutes to midnight before the planet

00:29:33.420 is somehow subsumed by the giant sun monster. It's absolute rubbish. It's a crime against our 0.99

00:29:40.420 children. Our children are terrified about their futures and they feel that there is no future to

00:29:46.220 live for. Hence why breeding rates across the West are plummeting. We've got to have a look at our

00:29:51.120 culture, our language. We must not divide down the lines of race and sexuality and create these 0.97

00:29:57.480 false grievance hierarchies. And these are the things that I want to talk about. And I will take

00:30:02.280 them to the electorate and I will ask the Conservative, people who would vote Conservative, who are going to

00:30:06.120 stay at home because they are so sick and tired of the Conservatives. I'm going to say to them,

00:30:11.200 lend me your vote and I will stand up for the values that you stand up for and want to protect.

00:30:17.100 Yeah, by-elections, sorry, go ahead.

00:30:19.740 I'm essentially just saying I'm a Conservative. There aren't any Conservatives, so I'll be one.

00:30:24.060 You know, one of the exciting things about by-elections is that voters know that they can do something

00:30:28.860 more dramatic without changing the entire government. I mean, sometimes during a vote, people vote

00:30:34.760 strategically. They say, well, he's the lesser of two evils and he's only, I don't want to spend my vote on

00:30:40.100 the Reclaim Party because maybe Labour will beat the Conservatives. But in a by-election,

00:30:44.200 you're not going to alter the math in Parliament. So maybe you'll have some luck. What's the date

00:30:50.660 of the by-election in Uxbridge?

00:30:53.200 Well, they haven't moved the writ yet. So there's, you know, all these lovely old British 1.00

00:30:56.840 parliamentary traditions. You've got to move the writ. You've then got to announce the by-election.

00:31:00.640 It has to happen within a certain number of days. So it looks like the by-election will happen

00:31:03.980 either on the 20th or the 27th of July. Where are we now? June? July. And, but, you know,

00:31:12.960 if it doesn't, it'll be September. But I imagine they'll want to get the bad news out of the way

00:31:16.400 before the summer so they can come back regrouped to lie to the people again, time and again,

00:31:23.240 which is what's been happening for years now.

00:31:25.500 Well, it's interesting, and I'm glad you're doing it. And, and I know that you have the actor's knack

00:31:33.520 of getting attention. And I think that's very important because we are in a battle of substance,

00:31:38.840 but people don't listen to you unless you are a creative communicator. And you're certainly that.

00:31:44.320 Hey, I want to ask you one last question before you go. I mentioned that you're an actor and you're

00:31:48.640 from a family of actors. And I think that's very valuable. I mean, Ronald Reagan used his skill as an

00:31:54.740 actor to communicate so effectively. He really had an EQ, as people say, like he knew how to connect

00:32:00.720 with people. Justin Trudeau, who is an atrocious man ideologically, uses his acting to connect with

00:32:07.960 people in a way I find frustrating. Tell me how the acting world, fellow actors have responded to

00:32:15.300 your politics, including your recent role in fellow Macaulay's movie, My Son Hunter, which was, you know,

00:32:20.520 I can imagine that just drove the left crazy over in the UK, just like it did in America.

00:32:25.700 How is, are there any other secret conservatives in the acting world in the UK?

00:32:31.460 There are a huge number of secret conservatives in the acting world in the UK. But as you know,

00:32:35.680 you and I well know, based around the content that's being produced by Hollywood and the streaming

00:32:39.940 services that that's going to be where this woke movement goes for its last stand. You know,

00:32:48.320 as it dissipates everywhere else, show business is going to be about, you know, people that have

00:32:53.900 paid a hundred thousand pounds a week talking about grievance and oppression. So you can tell

00:32:58.580 it's very easy to spot a conservative in show business. They don't do interviews. That's the

00:33:02.720 way you spot them. They just don't do interviews. And you can, I know many, many, but as they see what

00:33:08.740 happened to me and, you know, many and many others during this horrible sort of Maoist struggle

00:33:14.340 session life that we now live in, you, you pay a heavy price for speaking the truth in this world,

00:33:19.480 but it doesn't mean you shouldn't do it. Yeah. All right. Well, we'll leave it there.

00:33:23.840 Congratulations on your recent successes. Good luck in the Uxbridge by-election. We'll keep our eyes

00:33:28.420 peeled. And we know that whether it's in parliament or in the media, you'll continue to be a force for

00:33:35.060 freedom. Lawrence Fox, thanks for your time.

00:33:44.340 Hey, welcome back. You're a Letters to Me. A. Krentz 1000 says, a federal judge with common

00:33:54.040 sense, maybe there is hope in Canada. You're referring to my visit to the federal court

00:33:58.680 yesterday. It was quite, I walked in and with our lawyers, we had two lawyers there, Scott Nickel and

00:34:04.600 Chad Williamson, and there were seven people for the government. And I know how much we've spent on

00:34:10.080 this lawsuit. And I can only imagine that the federal government has spent half a million dollars

00:34:15.000 so far, just so Stephen Gilbeau can block me on Twitter. It's so nuts. And I say again, the reason

00:34:20.820 I think this case is important is because if they can block me with something that trivial, they can

00:34:25.360 block me with something important. So we want to nip this in the bud. I just want to be clear that

00:34:31.380 yesterday was not the main hearing. We didn't have that. We had a little skirmish over whether or not

00:34:37.040 this one piece of evidence was admissible. But I like the fact that the judge said yes to it. And I like

00:34:43.740 the fact that the government was squawking so much about it, and they lost, which tells me that they're

00:34:49.140 worried about it. So yeah, I am hopeful. I don't want to let my hopes get ahead of me, but I am hopeful

00:34:54.280 about this case. Kane Terrio 2603 says, congrats on the win, and congrats to your legal team. I'm obviously

00:35:00.880 biased, but love that they're from Alberta. You and your team at Rebel do important work. Never let them

00:35:06.420 silence you. I was very pleased with our team, and they did great. And again, it was a victory, but

00:35:12.620 it was just a battle. The main war is yet to come. Cheryl L says, what about us common folks? Do our MPs

00:35:21.040 or MPPs or public health officers get to block or select who can reply on tweets? Bravo, Rebel, glad you

00:35:27.260 won. We won a skirmish. Boy, I hope you don't think we won the whole war because we didn't. I hope I

00:35:33.000 didn't oversell the victory yesterday. We had an important victory. We won despite them having

00:35:39.640 seven lawyers. They didn't like the victory we had, but the real battle is still to come. This was a

00:35:46.340 preliminary battle on whether or not some important evidence was to be admitted, and the judge said,

00:35:50.840 yes, absolutely, and that made me feel great. But we're not out of the woods yet. But to answer your

00:35:54.820 question, can the government block the common people? I mean, I'm an ordinary person. The fact that

00:36:00.060 I'm a journalist, I suppose, gives me one more argument. I can't do my job as a journalist

00:36:04.280 without access to that information. But really in Canada, journalists don't particularly have any

00:36:10.540 more rights than anyone else. If you look at our charter of rights, section two is called

00:36:14.520 fundamental freedoms. Freedom of thought, freedom of belief, freedom of religion, freedom of speech,

00:36:21.020 freedom of association. These all apply to people, whether they're journalists or politicians

00:36:25.880 or truck drivers or just anybody, as long as you're a Canadian. In fact, they apply to non-citizens 0.97

00:36:33.400 who are here too. So yeah, and the thing about Rebel News is that because we have a team of supporters,

00:36:40.360 we're able to crowdfund the cost to sue. No normal human being would sue if they were blocked on Twitter

00:36:46.440 because who's got the dough? But if enough rebels think that this is an important case,

00:36:51.360 you know, chip in 50 bucks here, 100 bucks there, we can pay for it. So that's why Rebel does a lot

00:36:56.220 of this litigation. We're just in a position to do it. Hopefully we'll be able to set the precedent

00:37:00.180 for everybody. Well, that's our show for today. Until tomorrow, on behalf of all of us here at

00:37:05.920 Rebel World Headquarters, to you at home, good night and keep fighting for freedom.
