00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. I made a little bit of news with a tweet. Isn't that a funny story?
00:00:04.180 I want to show you how a federal bureaucracy jumped into action when I poked them online.
00:00:10.240 But first, let me invite you to become a subscriber to Rebel News Plus.
00:00:13.140 It's the video version of this podcast. Just go to rebelnewsplus.com. It's eight bucks a month.

00:00:22.840 no government money and it shows.
00:00:30.000 Tonight, I made a tweet and a dozen government bureaucrats snapped to attention.
00:00:46.580 It's March 5th and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:00:51.680 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:01:00.000 You know, there's a reason why we have uniforms in the world, especially for police and the
00:01:10.720 military and other imposers of force. It's so that you understand that the force, the authority
00:01:17.920 being mustered, is in the name of the government, the public, not some special interest, not some
00:01:23.880 club, not some religion. It's in the name of the people itself. That's why you don't see big
00:01:28.540 crucifixes or stars of David on a necklace of a cop. That would be against regulation. And it's
00:01:35.220 because if you're being arrested by someone, you're not being arrested by a Christian or
00:01:39.660 a Jew or a Muslim. You're being arrested by a policeman or a policewoman. That's why there
00:01:45.400 was some objection to Sikh turbans being allowed in the RCMP. Although I happen to know that Sikhs
00:01:52.420 were disproportionately served in the British Empire as police and as soldiers for centuries,
00:01:59.860 actually, in India. And turbans were an official part of historic British uniforms in India.
00:02:08.380 So I think I'm a little bit more open to it than some people are because I know that in India,
00:02:13.900 Sikhs with turbans had, that was their uniform and that's how it was for centuries.
00:02:20.080 And even Queen Victoria's servant had a Sikh turban. So I, that's part of our history too. It might
00:02:26.560 sound unusual, but it is. But look, even that does not violate the reason for a uniform to have one
00:02:32.980 form so that you never wonder while you're being arrested, if it's for what you did or for who you
00:02:38.920 are. That's why we have uniforms, right? Which brings me to this tweet that I wrote a few months back.
00:02:45.440 Just went through Canadian air traffic safety, airport security at Calgary airport. The foreign
00:02:54.660 migrant who searched my bag had a Palestine sticker on his security badge. Why are foreigners in charge
00:03:02.400 of our security? Every other worker and manager obviously has seen his flag. Is there a Palestine
00:03:08.180 cell at the Calgary airport? I mean, it's not like Palestinian activists are known for blowing up
00:03:13.540 planes or anything. Can we please stop pretending that Katza, our version of the TSA, is anything
00:03:18.920 more than security theater that has now been infiltrated by foreign agitators? So gross,
00:03:25.080 but so on brand for Canada. We're sleepwalking our way to our own Bondi attack.
00:03:31.760 Now, I think those are fair questions. Don't you? Like, why are you wearing an agitator's Palestine
00:03:38.920 pin? And you're not even from here. I mean, in some of the documents that I saw, they claim he is a
00:03:45.100 Canadian national. What are you doing agitating for a foreign organization, a foreign, I would call it a
00:03:51.460 terrorist organization. What are you doing? I think those are fair questions. And it reminds me of
00:03:57.920 of this. I mean, pro-Hamas messaging at an airport on their computer systems. I mean,
00:04:05.920 what could go wrong? Do you remember this?
00:04:07.460 Kelowna now, where the city's airport was targeted by hackers tonight. Videos and pictures inside the
00:04:13.260 terminal show the public address system hijacked in terminal screens with pro-Hamas messaging.
00:04:19.300 Kelowna International Airport tells CTV News that a third party gained access to the system shortly
00:04:24.800 after 5 p.m. Reports from Kelowna indicate the incident occurred for about two and a half minutes.
00:04:31.660 The airport says they have regained control of the system and are investigating the cause.
00:04:37.020 Two flights were delayed for 10 minutes during this incident.
00:04:40.960 Now, someone asked me why I didn't stop to make a fuss, why I didn't take a picture.
00:04:45.220 And it's because that these TSA guards can have tremendous power over you. They can be abusive
00:04:50.140 and power hungry. And they can make you late for your flight. They can make you miss your flight.
00:04:55.540 And I didn't want to miss my flight. So I didn't even take a picture of the guy. I just tweeted it.
00:05:01.060 And holy moly did that tweet get a reaction because it was true. Now, here's a news story about it
00:05:08.320 today by one of my favorite news outlets called Black Locks Reporter.
00:05:12.520 I'll read it to you. A social media post by the publisher of Rebel News, that's me,
00:05:18.960 prompted federal managers to launch an immediate search for a security guard wearing a Palestine
00:05:23.620 pin. Access to information records show. The search followed a Twitter comment last December 18th by
00:05:29.480 Ezra Levant at the Calgary International Airport. Can you find out if this is true? A federal manager
00:05:35.860 emailed staff only moments after the post. Wow, that's the fastest I've ever been served by the TSA.
00:05:41.760 This requires your immediate attention, wrote another. It was posted this morning on Twitter.
00:05:48.760 The post was retweeted a thousand times with 150 comments. Revolting and terrifying,
00:05:53.500 wrote one Twitter follower. Insanity, said another post. This is the diversity they were looking for.
00:06:00.000 It's a little crazy. Records show that security authority quickly tracked down the employee,
00:06:07.040 met with him, and removed the sticker. A photograph of the offending badge distributed by managers
00:06:14.760 depicted a heart-shaped Palestinian flag with the slogan,
00:06:17.600 It ain't much, but it's honest work. I think there was actually two slogans that were
00:06:21.420 combined there. Access to information records documented the authorities' panicky search for
00:06:27.180 the flag badge. The incident was disturbing, wrote a Boyd, director of communications, wrote staff in an
00:06:32.760 email with the subject heading, Heads Up. At 8.01 a.m. that day, Boyd wrote, Check on whether we have a
00:06:39.780 policy now about what security officers can wear on their uniform or badges. I thought something was
00:06:45.640 drafted recently, and if it was, we would have to investigate if the security officer in question,
00:06:49.700 looks like this is from the last hour or so, is in contravention of that policy by wearing a flag.
00:06:56.540 At 9.33 a.m., management emailed staff. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Security
00:07:01.620 officers need to remain professional as they represent the authority and cannot wear pins that
00:07:05.940 promote political advocacy issues or causes. It happened this morning. I believe the security
00:07:10.920 officer may still be on shift. At 11.08 a.m., management announced they have identified the
00:07:17.060 security officer. The badge was removed. A reminder will be sent to all security officers,
00:07:21.780 said a staff notice. The Transport Security Authority contracts fee private firms, yada, yada,
00:07:28.160 yada, and the guard with the Palestine sticker was not named. So to sum up, they weren't worried about
00:07:35.340 having a foreign migrant who was pro-Palestine in an airport. They weren't worried about that.
00:07:40.500 They were worried about people seeing that. So when they found the security officer, they just said,
00:07:47.640 hey, take that off. Don't advertise your extremism. Your extremism is okay. The fact that you're a
00:07:53.680 foreign national cheering on for Palestine in our airports while you're security, that's fine. Just don't
00:07:59.700 have a sticker announcing it. They didn't fire him or discipline him. They just said, stop tipping people
00:08:04.680 off. Some people don't like it. I love that they call my tweets terrifying as opposed to hiring a
00:08:10.540 pro-Palestinian foreign migrant at our airport security. That's not terrifying. But it obviously
00:08:16.420 wasn't just the one guy. Like I said in my tweet, he was in a team of a half a dozen people right there
00:08:23.200 on that same conveyor belt. And that was part of a larger team. And he most likely would have had a
00:08:29.340 staff meeting at the beginning of his shift. I've seen those before. So everyone there would have seen
00:08:34.320 his sticker. Everyone. And I doubt that was the first day he was wearing it. It's just when I happened
00:08:39.900 to see it. Literally no one out of probably 100 security staff at Calgary Airport had a problem with
00:08:45.780 that. They all accepted it. They all saw that everyone else accepted it too. They all saw that it's normal
00:08:52.320 at the Calgary International Airport for a foreign migrant to wear his Palestine flag and who many, who the
00:09:00.120 others are in league with them. You know, they used to be saying, I'm old enough to remember after
00:09:04.040 9-11. If you see something, say something. You know, I think the British transit system still
00:09:09.560 use that. There are versions of that. But no one really does that anymore. Because first of all,
00:09:14.700 you'd be called racist as Katza more or less does to me here. But more importantly, we see things
00:09:21.740 non-stop all day long that are shocking. Are you going to call in everything? You look like a crazy
00:09:28.680 person. It's being normalized. I remember it wasn't too long ago that if you saw a woman on the street
00:09:33.780 covered head to toe, including everything other than a little slit for her eyes, their face blocked,
00:09:39.300 looking like a ninja. You would think that is a shocking display of misogyny, the sort that we don't
00:09:44.600 accept in Canada that's from a barbaric land far away. And whatever husband would put his wife in a
00:09:50.240 body bag like that, that was a disgrace. Well, yeah, welcome to Canada in 2026, where terror mosques
00:09:56.880 literally have memorials for the killed Ayatollah of Iran. Did you see David Menzies' video on that last night?
00:10:02.520 It was a packed mosque having a memorial for the terrorists. If you see something and say something
00:10:10.060 in 2026, you're most likely to be charged with Islamophobia. So yeah, the entire staff at Katza
00:10:16.900 was mobilized not to stop the migrant with his Palestine agenda, but to stop the embarrassment of
00:10:23.820 having somebody notice how extremist their staff is. That was their mission, not safety or security or
00:10:30.800 the comfort of passengers, but covering up who they've been hiring. We're so cooked, aren't we?
00:10:37.260 Stay with us for more.
00:10:47.040 Hey, you know who's been doing some amazing work on these questions of Muslim extremism is our friend
00:10:53.360 Alexa Lavois because she's based in Montreal, which in many ways is the worst city in Canada. I mean,
00:10:58.800 Toronto's awful, Ottawa's bad, but Montreal, you have this terrible thing of combining pro-Hamas,
00:11:05.040 pro-Iran activists with Antifa. Here is a report from our dear friend, Alexa Lavois.
00:11:12.640 Alexa Lavois for Rebel News. And I'm here in Ville Saint-Laurent, Montreal, where overnight,
00:11:18.080 around 2 a.m., three Jewish businesses, a pharmacy, a kosher pizza restaurant and a butcher shop were
00:11:27.360 targeted. Swastikas were painted on their windows. This comes after a series of attacks targeting Jewish
00:11:36.800 institutions and businesses following U.S. and Israeli strikes against Iran. Pro-Iranians' freedom
00:11:45.680 business are also facing threats. In Toronto, the gem of an Iranian protest organizer was shot 17 times
00:11:56.880 in Montreal since the Hamas attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. There has been a significant rise
00:12:05.280 in anti-Semitic incidents. Jewish schools have been shot at, Molotov cocktails have been thrown at
00:12:12.960 synagogue and community centers. And multiple death threats have been reported. I was able to obtain the
00:12:22.640 pharmacy surveillance footage which shows the suspect caught in the act. I also spoke with the pharmacist,
00:12:31.360 who is also the owner of the business.
00:15:31.840 One of the business owners agreed to speak with me on the condition of anonymity.
00:16:54.680 Et a woman who was visiting her uncle, who works at the pizza restaurant, also agreed to speak with me on camera.
00:17:03.680 Well, I just find it very disturbing that, you know, you're going into work, everything's fine,
00:17:10.680 and for some unknown reason, somebody decides to put a swastika on your window.
00:17:17.480 I mean, what have you accomplished from that?
00:17:19.480 Is it for what reason? For intimidation? Are you trying to scare? Business goes on.
00:17:23.480 They wiped it, they took it off, and at the end of the day, it just leaves like a lingering bad taste,
00:17:29.480 knowing that anybody could do that in the middle of the night.
00:17:33.480 It's just a sense of intimidation, and I mean, they're trying to make us afraid that there's going to be escalation.
00:17:42.280 While all of them are targeted under one common denomination, they're all Jewish-owned businesses.
00:17:48.280 That is the main reason. I mean, he's the one who got the swastikas,
00:17:53.280 the other business they had their windows smashed not too long ago, them as well.
00:17:59.080 It's all because they're Jewish-owned, no other reason why.
00:18:02.080 Well, we know clearly it's anti-Semitism. Why? I don't know, because as I said, my uncle's business,
00:18:08.080 he's just, you know, here doing what he loves. It's his business, it's his livelihood.
00:18:15.080 His neighbors, exactly the same thing. They're not bothering anybody, so why are they being bothered?
00:18:20.080 The only reason is because they're Jewish-owned businesses, and it's anti-Semitism.
00:18:25.880 But where does the anti-Semitism come from? Ignorance, and perhaps to a certain level, jealousy.
00:18:32.880 Jealousy that these people could stand on their own and, you know, make their own living.
00:18:38.880 More and more that I see people in my community seeing something like this, yeah, we get angry,
00:18:42.280 and we, you know, passed all the information around when there's been one of these businesses
00:18:46.680 that's been vandalized, you know, targeted.
00:18:50.480 There's going to be a statement, obviously, made by the organizations such as B'nai B'rith, Sija.
00:18:57.480 But the day-to-day people from our community, we get angry, but we're also very resilient.
00:19:03.480 We just say, this is not going to install fear in us.
00:19:07.480 We're just going to get stronger, and we're just going to get tighter and more united.
00:19:11.280 As a matter of fact, since October 7th, 2023, we haven't been lurking and hiding.
00:19:17.280 We've actually become actually much more united and stronger as a community.
00:19:22.280 And not just in Montreal. I'm talking about the Jewish diaspora all over the world.
00:19:27.280 With the escalation that we are seeing, we are seeing like now with the Iranian war,
00:19:34.080 I don't know if you can actually say that is a war, but like with what happened in Iran,
00:19:40.080 do you feel that Montreal is safe now for the Jewish people?
00:19:46.080 It's a good question.
00:19:49.080 I believe that despite all these threats and vandalism and, you know, anti-Semitic tropes,
00:19:59.880 for example, my niece who's in McGill, McGill Medicine,
00:20:05.880 she saw a note on the McGill Med that said, Jews go home, free Palestine.
00:20:12.880 Well, good news is she still applied to McGill in family medicine and she still got in.
00:20:20.680 So again, it's not going to scare us. It's not going to fear us.
00:20:23.680 And coming back to the Iranian community, as a matter of fact,
00:20:27.680 whoever's feeling this type of level of anti-Semitism,
00:20:30.680 they've actually shot themselves in the foot because the Iranian community
00:20:34.680 has gotten a lot stronger with the Jewish community
00:20:39.680 because they are both in favour of the IRGC crumbling.
00:20:46.480 And that's exactly what happened.
00:20:48.480 And if you see the protests that were going on,
00:20:51.480 you would see the Iranian flag, the older Iranian flag with the lion,
00:20:57.480 the Israeli flag and the Canadian flag.
00:20:59.480 So I strongly believe that the group of people that are anti-Semitic
00:21:08.280 and the pro-Pali crowd, as we call them, are becoming now the minority.
00:21:13.280 And we are much more the majority.
00:21:16.280 And, you know, I keep on receiving messages from Iranian friends
00:21:20.280 that keep on saying thank you so much.
00:21:22.280 Thank you for supporting us because when this was going on since January
00:21:27.080 and thousands of people being murdered, especially women,
00:21:30.080 the pro-Pali crowd was not saying,
00:21:33.080 Oh, this is terrible.
00:21:34.080 Women and children are being murdered.
00:21:36.080 Babies are being murdered.
00:21:37.080 No. Silence. Zip.
00:21:39.080 But the Jewish community were reaching out to the Iranian community.
00:21:42.080 And I know because I have friends.
00:21:43.080 And they were saying thank you for supporting us.
00:21:44.880 And now you could see that they're actually together.
00:21:48.880 And no, I'm not afraid that something's going to happen in Montreal.
00:21:52.880 I think that the tables are turning.
00:21:55.880 Do you have maybe a message for the people in charge at the government,
00:22:00.880 especially regarding reports that reveal that there is some individual
00:22:05.880 linked to Hamas and also members of ERGC who live here in Canada?
00:22:12.880 You know what, I think that's probably kept very under the radar.
00:22:19.680 I don't think it's common knowledge,
00:22:21.680 but definitely organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood
00:22:24.680 should be determined as a terrorist organization,
00:22:30.680 just like the IRGC is supposed to be determined as a terrorist organization.
00:22:36.680 I think that there is definitely a lot more that needs to be done.
00:22:39.680 And if they're aware of it, the government, there could be a very good reason
00:22:44.480 why they are trying to suppress that information.
00:22:48.480 And my last question is about,
00:22:52.480 we are seeing politicians saying and denouncing what is happening,
00:22:57.480 but we don't see concrete action to protect the Jewish community in Canada.
00:23:01.480 What would you want to see them doing regarding that?
00:23:06.280 Well, starting with our Prime Minister,
00:23:08.280 it would be nice because he seems to double speak.
00:23:11.280 First, he made a statement that he supported President Trump
00:23:17.280 and the strike against Iran.
00:23:20.280 And then he clapped back just a couple of days ago
00:23:25.080 and said that he condemns Israel and USA's actions,
00:23:30.080 that they did it not in a legal fashion
00:23:33.080 or whatever kind of jargon that he spoke.
00:23:36.080 So, you know, it would be better to have a Prime Minister
00:23:39.880 who just is clear and sticks to one story.
00:23:43.880 And I understand that he needs
00:23:46.880 these people that put him into power,
00:23:50.880 the majority that put him into power.
00:23:52.880 He has to answer them,
00:23:54.880 but he also has to answer to the Jewish community.
00:23:56.880 We happen to be taxpayers
00:23:58.880 and people that were born and were naturalized.
00:24:01.680 We were born here and we contribute a lot to the society.
00:24:06.680 Apart from being taxpayers,
00:24:07.680 we also do a lot of philanthropic work.
00:24:11.680 We give back.
00:24:12.680 So there's, you know,
00:24:15.680 we need a little more support coming from the government,
00:24:17.680 that's for sure,
00:24:18.680 to say that we are going to be protected.
00:24:21.680 Hey, welcome back.
00:24:23.680 Your letters to me.
00:24:25.680 Simon Simon says,
00:24:26.680 the United Nations are not allies anymore.
00:24:29.680 They were infiltrated by the World Economic Forum and Islamists.
00:24:32.680 If Israel and the US were to inform Canada or anyone else
00:24:35.680 from the United Nations about this plan to assassinate Iran's leadership,
00:24:38.680 the operation would 100% be a failure.
00:24:41.680 Yeah, you know what?
00:24:42.680 It's sort of funny when Mark Carney says,
00:24:44.680 Hey, no one told us.
00:24:46.680 I think that's very true.
00:24:47.680 Because why would, you know,
00:24:49.680 it's like General Schwarzkopf said going to war without the French
00:24:52.680 is like going fishing without your accordion.
00:24:55.680 But why would you tell Canada?
00:24:58.680 They haven't exactly been supportive of the United States.
00:25:01.680 But when Mark Carney says he wasn't told,
00:25:04.680 that's his way of saying to his extremist Muslim voter base,
00:25:08.680 Hey guys, don't worry.
00:25:09.680 I'm not against the Islamic Republic.
00:25:11.680 It's very strange.
00:25:13.680 Marie Stapleton says,
00:25:15.680 Let's be clear.
00:25:16.680 Carney is trying to figure out what the Chinese Communist Party,
00:25:18.680 she wants him to say.
00:25:20.680 You know, I've been reading some analyses online
00:25:23.680 about how obviously Iran is going to have regime change
00:25:26.680 and it could change so dramatically.
00:25:28.680 It's going to be amazing.
00:25:29.680 It really is a counter-revolution 47 years late.
00:25:32.680 But how this affects China is staggering.
00:25:35.680 China has been growing throughout the world in a number of ways
00:25:39.680 through their Belt and Road economic initiative,
00:25:41.680 through investments in places like Africa especially.
00:25:44.680 They don't have foreign army bases in the same way
00:25:48.680 that the United States does all around the world,
00:25:50.680 but their influence, their tentacles are certainly growing.
00:25:52.680 I mean, we feel that here in Canada, don't we?
00:25:55.680 Including the 11 ridings that were interfered with by China.
00:25:58.680 But Iran had a very special place for China.
00:26:01.680 Not only was it a source of oil and deeply discounted oil
00:26:04.680 because when America and the West put sanctions on Iranian oil,
00:26:07.680 that means it can't sell at marketplace.
00:26:10.680 It's like contraband.
00:26:12.680 So China had cheap oil.
00:26:14.680 China sold military equipment to Iran.
00:26:17.680 And more than that, by being strong allies with Iran,
00:26:21.680 China was able to frustrate American strategy for that region,
00:26:26.680 push Israel on the back foot, et cetera.
00:26:30.680 In a way, same thing with Venezuela.
00:26:32.680 Not only was it an ally of China, but it was a source of oil.
00:26:35.680 So if you cut off Venezuelan oil and if you cut off Iranian oil,
00:26:40.680 I mean, China will get its oil,
00:26:42.680 but by paying billions of dollars more for it.
00:26:45.680 And it's no longer has a toehold in the Americas
00:26:49.680 because Venezuela is back in American hands.
00:26:52.680 And soon it'll be shoved out of the Middle East.
00:26:54.680 What's so interesting is that Iran in its final flurry
00:26:58.680 attacked, what, 10 neighboring countries,
00:27:01.680 all of which were Arab or Muslim.
00:27:03.680 Just going out with a bang and weirdly pushing all these other countries
00:27:10.680 into the American and even Israeli orbit.
00:27:12.680 I think so much is going to be possible when Iran is liberated.
00:27:15.680 And I think it's going to be good for the entire world economically.
00:27:19.680 Good for Israel, of course.
00:27:20.680 Good for America, of course.
00:27:21.680 Good for the Iranian people.
00:27:23.680 And bad for Russia and China.
00:27:25.680 And, you know, really, I think you've got two choices for the hyper power in the world.
00:27:31.680 You want China or you want America.
00:27:33.680 And I think this shows America is strong and America is in control.
00:27:37.680 America is not in decline.
00:27:38.680 I find it very hopeful.
00:27:40.680 Last letter of the day from John Alexander, who says,
00:27:43.680 Here in London, Ontario, the mayor and council voted to give themselves a 36% raise.
00:27:48.680 And the homeless and drugs are out of control.
00:27:50.680 I don't know how much a 36% raise is,
00:27:55.680 but I can only imagine that it's an extremely large amount.
00:27:59.680 I mean, are they being paid $1,000 a year?
00:28:01.680 36% raise probably wouldn't be outrageous.
00:28:04.680 But they're probably making six figures.
00:28:06.680 I'm sorry, I haven't researched it.
00:28:08.680 The idea of anyone giving themselves a raise,
00:28:10.680 anyone being their own boss like that.
00:28:13.680 If you want to be your own boss, start your own business.
00:28:15.680 All the money is yours and you can pay yourself whatever you can.
00:28:18.680 But to go into politics and be your own boss in terms of setting your own salary,
00:28:23.680 that's super gross.
00:28:25.680 Huh.
00:28:26.680 That's our show for the day.
00:28:27.680 Until tomorrow, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters,
00:28:30.680 see you at home.
00:28:31.680 Good night and keep fighting for freedom.
00:28:33.680 Thank you for yourBo.
00:28:46.680 Okay.
