00:02:09.260 they didn't attend. Neither did the Council on Antisemitism, which is sort of weird. You'd think

00:02:26.000 parade so moms and dads and grandmas and grandpas and children didn't have to listen to it it's

00:03:04.020 not just because it tastes better, because they're less anti-Canadian. But today they
00:03:09.060 actually hit us with a real form of litigation, a trademark dispute that they filed with our
00:03:13.680 Rebel News store. They want to knock us out so we can't make merchandise that satirizes or
00:03:20.080 criticizes Tim Hortons. But that actually is allowed under law. In fact, trademark law has
00:03:26.100 a special exception for criticism or satire. You're allowed to say things like Tim Hortons sucks. Now,
00:03:31.840 we didn't say Tim Hortons sucks. In fact, we said something very, very gentle. We said make Tim
00:03:37.500 Hortons Canadian again. It almost sounds positive, like we're sort of cheering for them to stop
00:03:42.460 hiring foreign workers. Well, that was too much for them. They filed a legal dispute with our
00:03:48.700 shop company called Shopify, that if it were to go the distance would knock us off the internet
00:03:54.280 as a store. Now we could find a different place, I'm sure, but it's outrageous that Tim Hortons
00:03:59.120 would try and punish us this way. And that's obviously what they're doing. This is punishment
00:04:03.140 for our journalism. So without further ado, let me show you the campaign video that I just released
00:04:08.500 on this subject. Tim Hortons is trying desperately to shut us up. They've called the police on our
00:04:15.400 reporters three times and they just had their lawyers file a legal complaint against us trying
00:04:21.680 to get our store banned on the internet. I really need your help. This is a classic case of David
00:04:28.780 versus Goliath. If Goliath was a big dumb donut shop that refused to hire Canadian workers and

00:04:42.260 me give you a little bit of background right now. For two weeks, we've been telling the truth about
00:04:46.800 Tim Hortons and their gross plans to hire foreign workers instead of young Canadians. Our reporting
00:04:53.560 has been a problem for them because you see, they've just started a huge PR campaign to rebrand
00:04:59.260 themselves as Canadian patriots because Dunkin' Donuts, the American-based firm, is about to open
00:05:05.980 up hundreds of locations in Canada later this year. And Tim Hortons thinks they can win back
00:05:10.820 customers by pretending to be Canadian. But we discovered that even though Tim Hortons says
00:05:17.240 they're hiring Canadians, they actually are still actively bringing foreign workers to Canada by
00:05:23.900 using the government's temporary foreign worker program. So we went to some of those Tim Hortons
00:05:29.060 locations and asked them why they were saying they were hiring locals when in fact they were
00:05:34.840 hiring foreigners. I mean, why? Why? When I actually asked one of the Tim Hortons managers
00:05:40.540 who was actively bringing in foreigners, he lied about it, saying he didn't know anything about it

00:20:07.400 It's called Bathurst Street, a big north-south road,
00:20:10.960 along which I'd say about 100,000 Jews live.
00:20:14.240 There's plenty of synagogues and schools, Jewish restaurants and shops.
00:20:18.300 And it's been a place of Jewish life for a century.
00:20:22.580 But in the last few years, it's been a place of anti-Semitic hate crimes,
00:20:27.020 where almost every day another synagogue is vandalized, torched,
00:20:31.360 sometimes even shot at with guns. And because Jews are all along this street, and many of them are
00:20:38.160 very conspicuous, they wear traditional clothing, anti-Semitic violence is as easy as driving along
00:20:45.040 the street and shooting at anyone who looks Jewish. And that's been happening in recent months,
00:20:51.560 and police either cannot or will not do anything about it. Which brings us to today. Every year,
00:20:58.940 for about 50 years the jews have had a walk a peaceful walk down this road they call it walk
00:21:05.420 with israel historically every politician wants to see and be seen there i mean it would be like
00:21:12.140 going to a greek festival or the saint patrick's day parade or even the gay pride parade these are
00:21:18.460 things that naturally attract politicians who want to be seen supporting a community historically
00:21:25.980 the mayor would never miss it i mean think about it 50 000 voters who just want to see you but in
00:21:32.220 the last three years politicians have boycotted this event they can do the math demographically
00:21:38.300 they see mass immigration has brought millions of people to canada who are anti-semitic and some of
00:21:44.380 whom actually support violence so at least in the last several years mayor olivia chow premier doug
00:21:50.940 forward. Prime Ministers Justin Trudeau and Mark Carney have boycotted this event. We'll see if
00:21:56.380 that's the case again today. But it's not just politicians, it's the police. There's been such
00:22:01.640 a two-tier standard of policing. Obviously, the most shocking example is the difference between
00:22:08.220 how the pro-Hamas protesters are treated here versus the trucker convoy. Completely peaceful
00:22:13.940 in both Ontario and federally. The governments invoke the Emergencies Act, mass arrests,
00:22:19.920 seized bank accounts. Those were peaceful Canadian citizens protesting COVID lockdowns.
00:22:25.800 Here you have foreign nationals, over 700 Iranian agents from various terrorist groups active in
00:22:33.600 Canada on the streets. The government knows who they are and they go with impunity. And I'm not
00:22:40.040 talking about some made up hate or feelings crime. I'm talking about assault, mischief,
00:22:45.840 vandalism, shootings, arson, uttering threats, those are all real crimes that
00:22:51.940 the police has turned a blind eye to. In fact, at Rebel News, when we simply want
00:22:56.220 to report on this violent anti-Semitism, this anti-Jewish crime wave, we've been
00:23:02.160 arrested. I personally was arrested simply for trying to film an anti-Semitic
00:23:06.940 installment in a Jewish neighborhood. And that's the other thing. These
00:23:11.520 protesters who come in here for Hamas, they obviously don't live in the Jewish
00:23:15.740 neighborhood. They drive in for miles right into the heart of the Jewish community in residential
00:23:21.460 areas. There's not an Israeli consulate here. There's no military equipment factories here.
00:23:27.620 It's just Jews, mums and dads, grandmas and grandpas and kids. And when the Hamas protesters
00:23:34.580 come in, they set up outside residential streets, residential apartments. And so far,
00:23:40.660 the police have treated them with kid gloves. One of the things we do every year is we bring
00:23:45.440 our big beautiful billboard truck and rotate different messages on it at this
00:23:50.540 moment we're letting people know one of our petitions is about Hamas we say if
00:23:56.000 you're not a citizen there's a checklist here as you can see if you're not a
00:24:01.760 citizen if you support terrorism you're out of here you're deported so we have a
00:24:09.500 petition at deporthamas.com. It's one of the various messages in our big, beautiful billboard
00:24:17.880 truck that we set up today. I had a little bit of negotiating with the police on where to put the
00:24:24.060 truck. Ironically, a Jewish security guard wanted us to move it. I got into a bit of an argy-bargy.
00:24:30.520 There are still Jews with wobbly knees around who don't like vigorous conversations like that which
00:24:38.220 the truck carries anyways you can hear the music it's going to be a festival atmosphere but all
