00:00:49.320 Tonight, first the Toronto police were arresting Rebel News journalists.
00:00:54.700 Now, they are trying to censor our videos.
00:00:59.900 Unbelievable.
00:01:01.160 It's Tuesday, June 4th, 2024.
00:01:04.560 I'm David Menzies, and this is the Ezra LeVant Show.
00:01:11.640 Shame on you, you censorious bug.
00:01:14.980 Now, as you're likely aware, the Toronto Police Service has been arresting certain Rebel News reporters on trumped-up, bogus charges.
00:01:32.700 Toronto's finest these days, well, they're all about accommodating the pro-Hamas hooligans, even to the point of delivering them coffee and timbits. 0.64
00:01:43.400 But this just in, folks.
00:01:45.520 Now the police are actually trying to censor our videos.
00:01:50.100 I know it sounds preposterous, especially given that Hogtown is experiencing its worst crime wave in its entire history.
00:02:00.560 Murder, assault, armed robbery, car theft, you name it.
00:02:04.360 The numbers are off the charts.
00:02:06.560 And yet, the Toronto Police Service is apparently obsessed with protecting transgenders from having their feelings hurt.
00:02:16.720 Yeah, just like the pro-Hamas folk, transgenders are a protected class, you see. 0.99
00:02:22.720 Talk about strange bedfellows, eh?
00:02:24.560 I mean, members of Hamas just love transgenders, don't they? 0.99
00:02:29.760 I hear they really like to escort them up to the rooftops of tall buildings in Gaza.
00:02:35.360 Let's just leave it at that.
00:02:37.660 Anyway, just who do the Toronto Police think they are?
00:02:42.520 The Ontario Provincial Police?
00:02:44.220 We found out the hard way last month that the OPP will arrest independent journalists
00:02:50.180 if they ask rude queries to a male rugby player pretending to be a female one.
00:02:58.020 But back to Toronto.
00:02:59.580 Many of you likely saw our videos about my inexplicable arrests in March and April
00:03:05.620 when I was merely practicing journalism in public.
00:03:09.640 My so-called crime?
00:03:11.300 Apparently, the cops thought I might ask the pro-Hamas hooligans an insensitive question
00:03:18.900 and that might further trigger the mob.
00:03:23.240 So, better to shut down independent journalism than to, you know, actually enforce the law of the land?
00:03:30.160 Here, check out what happened in March outside Toronto's King Edward Hotel,
00:03:35.680 the site of a Liberal Party of Canada fundraiser.
00:03:41.300 So, that's whatever you want to go.
00:03:43.060 What, start?
00:03:43.100 I'm sorry.
00:03:55.580 Excuse me. We're trying to put him behind.
00:04:07.380 Hey, hey, hey, that's my guy. That's my guy.
00:04:14.300 Stay back, guys. Stay back.
00:04:17.780 Stay back. Stop pushing forward.
00:04:19.720 Now, the charge was obstruct police, if you can believe it.
00:04:26.320 Oh, there was obstruction that night, folks, but the obstruction was manufactured by the police.
00:04:34.760 That ludicrous charge was dismissed last month, by the way.
00:04:39.020 The Crown deemed there was no reasonable prospect of conviction.
00:04:43.100 You think?
00:04:44.300 Then on April the 7th, I was covering the six-month vigil of the October 7th massacre in Israel.
00:04:53.680 It was held at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto and was being officiated by Conservative leader Pierre Polyev.
00:05:01.600 My cameraman, Efren Monsanto, and I were roughed up and assaulted as we attempted to scrum a vile little cluster of pro-Hamas supporters.
00:05:11.720 That's right. These reprobates actually crashed a vigil to commemorate the victims of October 7th.
00:05:20.700 And they even chanted genocide. Class.
00:05:24.640 The cops witnessed all of these shenanigans and then finally moved in to make an arrest.
00:05:29.960 Oh, but then again, the cops didn't arrest those who were committing physical assault.
00:05:36.660 Here, check it out.
00:05:37.520 No!
00:05:38.080 No!
00:05:38.680 No!
00:05:39.200 No!
00:05:39.680 No!
00:05:39.760 No!
00:05:40.320 No!
00:05:40.680 No!
00:05:40.760 No!
00:05:40.800 No!
00:05:40.840 No!
00:05:40.920 No!
00:05:41.720 No!
00:05:42.720 No!
00:05:43.720 No!
00:05:44.720 No!
00:05:45.720 No!
00:05:46.720 No!
00:05:51.220 Don't put your hands on me! 1.00
00:05:52.720 Don't put your hands on me! 1.00
00:05:53.720 Don't put your hands on me! 1.00
00:05:54.720 They can chant genocide in the street and I can't cover that!
00:06:00.720 Obey your oath!
00:06:01.720 Officer, obey your oath!
00:06:03.720 In Israel... 0.89
00:06:04.720 I don't know what I'm here!
00:06:05.720 Listen, if I'm not under arrest, get your hands off, okay, then I'll...
00:06:09.720 Ok, don't worry...
00:06:10.720 charge this time was trespassing. No, I swear, I'm not making this up. There were more than 2,000
00:06:17.040 people in what is effectively the town square that day, and I'm the only person who ends up
00:06:25.060 in the paddy wagon? Unbelievable. Our next court date for that stitch-up job is in August. What
00:06:32.060 do you want to bet that this charge will also be tossed by the Crown for the exact same reason as
00:06:38.660 the last one? Can't wait, because after the criminal matters are out of the way, we are going on
00:06:45.420 offense. We plan to sue the Toronto Police Service, just as we are suing the RCMP for their bogus
00:06:52.280 arrest of me in January by Royal Canadian Mounted Henchman Uncle Fester. Ms. Freeland, how come
00:06:59.680 the IRDC is not a terrorist group? Why is your government supporting Islamo-Nationalism? 0.92
00:07:05.960 What are you doing? You're under arrest for assault. Why are you pushing me? You're under arrest for assault.
00:07:15.120 You're under arrest for assault. What are you talking about? Police, you're under arrest for assault.
00:07:20.680 How am I under arrest? You bumped into me. You pushed into me, sir. I was just scrubbing. I've got my
00:07:25.780 credentials here, and you just bumped into me. So, excuse me. Police, you're under arrest.
00:07:30.320 By the way, do you see a pattern here? I've been arrested four times in five months for nothing.
00:07:38.980 I wonder who is behind this profiling. In any event, it is going to take years and a whole lot of money
00:07:46.900 to get justice in civil court, but our cases are rock solid. At least I think so. And you,
00:07:53.160 my beloved audience members, you can help us out by going to standwithdavid.com. That's standwithdavid.com
00:08:00.920 to make a donation so that we can continue to bring you the other side of the story. Thank you so much
00:08:08.380 in advance. But the Toronto Police Service targeting rebel news is even worse than we originally thought.
00:08:17.060 Because as hogtown cops were shutting down independent journalism on the streets, 0.99
00:08:23.780 behind the scenes, they were trying to secretly censor our videos. And once again, no, I'm not making
00:08:31.460 this up. Recently, we were made aware of a letter that was addressed to Google's Legal and Investigations
00:08:38.720 Department. The author of the letter is Toronto Police Inspector Jack Gurr. Gurr?
00:08:46.760 Isn't that the noise that the Frankenstein monster makes? Anyway, last August, Inspector Gurr sent a
00:08:56.600 letter to Google, the parent company of YouTube, requesting that it delete a rebel news video.
00:09:04.440 It was a monologue presented by yours truly, and apparently, ooh, it struck a nerve. By the way,
00:09:11.500 Inspector Gurr is a unit commander at the Toronto Police Service. What unit, you ask? Well, the
00:09:18.440 Equity, Inclusion, and Human Rights Unit, of course. I'm sure this prudent use of police resources
00:09:25.060 warms the hearts of anyone who, say, might have had their wheels stolen in recent months. But I digress.
00:09:32.740 I'm going to read the threat letter by Gurr verbatim. Here goes, quote,
00:09:39.120 Dear Google Legal Investigations support re-removal of law enforcement training video
00:09:47.600 published on your platform. I am writing with respect to the unauthorized access, use, and publication
00:09:55.780 of law enforcement training material created by the Toronto Police Service. The Gender Diversity
00:10:03.560 and Trans Inclusion video was created as a confidential training aid for TPS members in their engagement
00:10:12.220 with members of the diverse communities that we serve. This is a work of copyright, not intended
00:10:20.100 for public consumption, as acknowledged in the video, by who we assume to be the upholder slash associated
00:10:30.220 with the uploader at timestamp 332. Due to its confidential nature, the publication of the material is not
00:10:42.060 covered by the fair dealing exception, equivalent of fair use exception, in the U.S.
00:10:49.160 The training aid was co-developed with members of vulnerable communities who never intended for their image
00:10:57.900 or personal identifying information to be viewed by the public in any way. Neither the TPS nor the
00:11:06.260 community members consent to the publication of this material. The continued publication of this material
00:11:14.560 is a breach of information and privacy, one that continues to bring harm to those captured in
00:11:23.040 the video and their respective communities in addition to TPS. Consequently, we request that the video in
00:11:32.180 question be removed or published in a manner that does not include TPS training material. Should you require
00:11:40.860 further information, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to me? Please provide prompt
00:11:49.040 acknowledgement of compliance with this notice to Jack Gurr. End quote. Privacy? What privacy? The
00:11:57.440 transgenders in the training video, a motley crew of participants who make Looney Tunes characters look like 1.00
00:12:04.480 West Point graduates, had their videos observed by literally thousands of viewers. Indeed, there are more
00:12:11.940 than 5,000 uniformed and undercover officers employed by the Toronto Police Service. More than 5,000 sets of
00:12:20.660 eyeballs viewing that video. Well, that would seem like a whole lot of so-called privacy violation to me,
00:12:28.040 wouldn't you say? And really, if privacy was such an issue, why didn't the producers of this video
00:12:34.320 blur the images of those transgenders? As well, the Toronto Police Service is not some private corporation. It's
00:12:44.660 publicly funded. Taxpayer money produced that ludicrous transgender training module, all of which makes a 1.00
00:12:52.900 copyright claim preposterous. Indeed, I think the real motivation behind this trumped-up copyright claim 0.88
00:13:00.760 is that the brass at the Toronto Police Service don't want citizens knowing that the force is more
00:13:08.120 committed to DEI and wokeism than it is to, you know, actual law enforcement. And really, they should be
00:13:17.540 embarrassed. I'll show you why in just a few minutes, so hang on. Thankfully, I'm delighted to report that
00:13:24.700 Google dismissed the censorship request. In fact, the way we found out about this brazen attempt at
00:13:32.840 censorship was due to a letter sent to Rebel News by Google informing us that the Toronto cops were in
00:13:41.060 fact hell-bent on trying to get that video deleted. Quote, we received the copyright infringement
00:13:48.280 notification below regarding your video. We believe your content is protected by fair use, fair dealing, or a
00:13:57.240 similar exception to copyright protection. We are writing to let you know we do not plan to remove your
00:14:06.180 video at this time. You have control over the availability of videos on your channel, including
00:14:12.960 the ability to delete them if you choose. Please be advised, it is possible the copyright owner will
00:14:20.000 approach you directly to request removal or take other action. This email is not intended as legal advice.
00:14:29.620 If you are interested in more information regarding your options in this matter, you may wish to consult
00:14:37.020 a qualified attorney. Please note the complainant's physical address and phone number have been redacted
00:14:44.960 from the copyright infringement notification below. Sincerely, the YouTube team. End quote. Nice score one for
00:14:54.600 freedom of the press. What a concept these days, eh? But as soon as this censorship cat was out of the bag,
00:15:02.640 we really wanted to find out how this thought policing ever got into gear in the first place.
00:15:09.720 So our FOI guy sent a freedom of information request to the Toronto police in which he stated,
00:15:17.100 quote, provide copies of any communication with YouTube regarding rebel news slash rebel media videos
00:15:26.080 since January 1, 2021. End quote. And folks, last month, we received a response to our FOI request
00:15:36.080 from the coordinator of the access and privacy section of the Toronto police service. That person's name,
00:15:44.500 by the way, is P. McGee. No, really. And shame on any of you cheeky monkeys out there falsely stating
00:15:51.680 that P. McGee is the author of Rusty Bedsprings. That would be IP Knightley, of course. Anyway, 0.68
00:16:00.540 here's what P. McGee stated. Quote, please be advised that after consultation with our relevant
00:16:08.700 internal stakeholders, we have been advised that no responsive records could be located. Access,
00:16:18.120 therefore, cannot be provided. End quote. What? No records? Hey there, P. McGee. We have a copy of
00:16:28.600 Inspector Gurr's letter. If we have this document, so do you. So what gives? You know, folks,
00:16:37.100 this situation has gone from bad to rancid. And there's a saying that comes to mind here.
00:16:44.300 That being, it's not the crime, it's the cover-up. Which is to say, the censorious thugs at the Toronto
00:16:51.680 police are guilty of trying to derail free speech. And when they failed, well, they've gone into cover-up
00:16:59.940 mode, haven't they? Despite the evidence. Are you as disturbed as I am that these are the people we
00:17:07.840 depend on to uphold the law of the land? That these are the people who are entrusted with the lethal
00:17:15.340 force? That these are the people who, should they choose to lie on the stand, can end up putting away
00:17:24.640 an innocent citizen behind bars for a very, very long time? I think this is downright chilling.
00:17:32.760 Now, I did reach out to Inspector Gurr. I emailed him the following eight questions.
00:17:39.820 What is the legal basis for your request to have Google remove our video from YouTube?
00:17:45.380 You make a claim in your letter that Rebel News is in violation of copyright. How can this be
00:17:51.780 when the trans training video was produced via public funding? What is your response to Google's
00:17:58.860 denial to remove this video? Toronto is undergoing its worst crime wave in the city's history. Why do
00:18:06.640 you think that censoring the free press should be a priority for the Toronto Police Service? We were
00:18:13.620 tipped off about the trans training video by members of the Toronto Police Service. They say they find the
00:18:20.660 video ludicrous and resent that they must agree to compelled speech mandated by woke activists. What is your
00:18:29.840 response to these concerns? Another concern is that they say transgenders are not being bequeathed with equal
00:18:37.240 rights, but rather special rights, i.e. a trans man, a woman pretending to be a man, is allowed to bring a dildo 0.96
00:18:45.700 into her cell, which can be weaponized. Why is public safety being sacrificed due to apparent
00:18:53.000 political correctness? What is your response to Google refusing to acquiesce to your censorship
00:18:59.900 requests? And as you may know, we sent the Toronto Police Service a Freedom of Information request
00:19:06.260 regarding your attempts at censorship. In response, we received a letter from P. McGee dated May 2nd,
00:19:13.920 2024. P. McGee states, quote, please be advised after consultation with our relevant internal
00:19:21.060 stakeholders. We have been advised that no responsive records could be located. Access, therefore,
00:19:27.940 cannot be provided, end quote. Inspector Gurr, this is an absolute falsehood, given that we have a copy
00:19:35.260 of your letter. Why is the Toronto Police Service covering up your attempts to censor
00:19:42.240 our videos? Well, folks, I never received a return email, so a couple of days ago I reached out
00:19:48.680 to Inspector Gurr by phone, and lo and behold, I was able to connect with the inspector.
00:19:55.600 Inspector Gurr, didn't really go all that well. Here, check it out.
00:20:01.340 Hello? Hello? Oh, yes. Good day. Is this Inspector Gurr? Yes, it is. Yes, hi, Inspector Gurr. It's David
00:20:09.180 Menzies with Rebel News. I'm just following up on the email I sent last week regarding the attempt to
00:20:16.340 censor one of our videos, and I'm just wondering if you can give me an explanation why you went this
00:20:26.040 route, given that this is a publicly funded video, and... What email did you get, Mr. Menzies?
00:20:33.080 Oh, I sent you an email, Inspector Gurr. I didn't get anything from you. Oh, I can read...
00:20:40.700 You know what? Maybe I would suggest that you speak with the corporate... Sorry?
00:20:46.240 ...then they can... I suggest that you speak with our corporate communications bureau.
00:20:52.340 Right, but this is a letter that you penned, Inspector Gurr. It's about where you reached out to Google
00:20:57.600 to try to censor our video, and I'm just wondering why you would go that route. Also, we have a letter
00:21:06.600 from P. McGee, who, because we did a Freedom of Information search, and P. McGee says there were
00:21:14.400 no documents that they could find, but I have a letter in your name from August of last year,
00:21:21.840 August the 3rd, where you're reaching out to Google's Legal and Investigations Department.
00:21:27.740 So why would P. McGee not have that letter?
00:21:31.560 Who is P. McGee?
00:21:32.220 P. McGee is with your FOI department, I believe.
00:21:37.960 Okay, so I don't know P. McGee. I mean, that's... You're probably right, but...
00:21:42.320 I can give you his title. It's... He's the Coordinator for Access and Privacy Section.
00:21:48.340 If you would like to inquire, then I would direct you to our corporate communications branch,
00:21:55.440 and if you do have the number, I can get that for you.
00:21:57.400 Yeah, by all means, but this is a letter that you wrote, sir, and you were trying to censor
00:22:04.620 our content because it was allegedly...
00:22:07.500 We can't both talk at the same time, Mr. Benzie.
00:22:10.480 No, that's right.
00:22:11.500 So if you want to just wait for a moment, then I can respond.
00:22:15.760 Okay.
00:22:16.640 Okay.
00:22:17.620 So all of our inquiries from any organization that perceives themselves as a media outlet is
00:22:27.180 first point of contact would be our corporate communications branch.
00:22:31.600 Okay, so if you want to speak to them first, and then I will take some advice from them as
00:22:37.700 to how to respond to you.
00:22:38.880 Oh, okay, then, so you can't, even though this letter...
00:22:44.000 You know what, I'm walking into a meeting.
00:22:46.620 I have to look at my notes.
00:22:48.400 I don't have that information on hand.
00:22:50.920 You're cold calling me.
00:22:52.080 I don't have an email from you.
00:22:54.120 I'm not suggesting that you didn't send one, but I don't have an email from you.
00:22:57.440 I can re-forward that to you, sir.
00:23:00.620 Okay.
00:23:01.320 I'll check my trash and see if it's in there, okay?
00:23:05.380 Can I double-check your address, please?
00:23:07.840 I have jack.girr at tbs.ca.
00:23:12.320 Is that correct?
00:23:13.940 Yeah, sounds right.
00:23:14.980 Okay.
00:23:15.800 Oh, it might not be right, or...
00:23:19.380 Well, you can try 5407 at tbs.ca.
00:23:25.320 5407 at tbs.ca?
00:23:28.120 I guess that's your badge number then, right?
00:23:30.340 Yes, sir.
00:23:30.920 Okay, I'll do both.
00:23:32.200 It was sent last week, so that's why I was phoning you, and, I mean, you know, the fact of the matter is, you know, we're having the worst crime wave in the city's history, and it's almost as though the Toronto Police Service has a thought police division that you're trying to censor videos.
00:23:51.200 Are you done?
00:23:53.200 Oh, well, no, I've actually got eight questions if you'd like me to...
00:23:56.420 I'm sure, I'm sure you do, but like I said, I've already said it a couple of times, you can speak with our corporate communications branch over now, okay?
00:24:04.180 Or you can call our legal department if you want, but right now I'm not going to speak to you.
00:24:07.380 So, the legal department, that's odd.
00:24:12.240 Who at communications, do you have a name and a number, an email address, anything like that?
00:24:17.500 I'd have to look, I'd have to look it up, sir.
00:24:19.140 I don't know who's working today, I don't know who's there right now.
00:24:21.780 So, like I said, I'm about to walk into a meeting, and I was not prepared for your phone call.
00:24:26.580 Oh, okay, well, I will, fair enough, if you didn't get it, I will resubmit the email both to your regular address and the 5407 address, and if you can, how about this, if you, once you receive it, can you forward it to whoever is in the media department, media relations department, that is, because it's been very spotty in the past of us getting responses from them too.
00:24:53.340 So, I'm just, I'm just trying to give you the opportunity for fair comments, sir, that's all.
00:24:59.240 Yeah, no, I appreciate that, but I'm fully unprepared to speak to you right now.
00:25:03.880 Oh, even though you wrote the letter?
00:25:07.000 Okay, Mr. Menzies, I don't know what you want, I don't know what you want me to say, I'm just, I'm coming, I'm coming, I'm walking into a meeting, I don't have time to talk to you right now, okay?
00:25:19.460 Okay, then.
00:25:20.080 Bye-bye.
00:25:20.600 Bye-bye.
00:25:20.880 Yeah, so Inspector Greer can't comment on a letter that he authored?
00:25:26.800 He doesn't even know P. McGee?
00:25:30.500 Do you find that weird, folks?
00:25:32.880 But I did resubmit my queries, and as I suspected, still no response to date.
00:25:39.640 Pretty sad, eh?
00:25:41.060 How this gun-toting DEI officer who likes to author threat letters now seems to have all of the intestinal fortitude of the cowardly lion, given his bullying has now been outed? 1.00
00:25:56.120 Pathetic. 0.98
00:25:56.740 Now, I know what you're saying, folks, especially those of you who did not see my original monologue. 0.99
00:26:02.860 Just what the heck is this transgender training video all about?
00:26:07.880 And why does the Toronto Police Service desperately want to prevent you from seeing this content?
00:26:16.560 Well, your wish is my command, my beloved audience members.
00:26:21.060 Much to the chagrin, no doubt, of Inspector Greer.
00:26:24.940 Here are some snippets from my original report that ran last summer.
00:26:30.640 Enjoy.
00:26:31.280 Folks, you ain't seen nothing yet.
00:26:34.020 In fact, you were never meant to see what I am about to present.
00:26:39.100 That's because this material was never meant to be seen by the general public, but rather only the rank and file of the Toronto Police Service.
00:26:48.020 This material was leaked to Rebel News by a whistleblowing Toronto police officer, a whistleblower who shall remain anonymous.
00:26:56.280 And so it is, we have in our possession online training modules from the newly woke Toronto Police Service.
00:27:05.400 And the message is simple.
00:27:07.100 When it comes to that whole, you know, serve and protect schtick, a different set of law enforcement rules must be put into play when it comes to the transgender community. 0.98
00:27:17.360 Yes, in the quest to affirm and appease the spirit unicorn demographic, all Toronto police staffers are now obligated to watch an education initiative called, I'm not making this up, the Gender Diversity Trans Inclusion Project, or GDTIP for short.
00:27:39.600 Hmm, GDTIP, wasn't that a trim level for the Pontiac Bonneville back in the day?
00:27:48.560 But I digress.
00:27:50.000 Much like Disney World, where it is now verboten for staff to say, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, the cops are being forced to go woke too.
00:27:59.380 Now, in fairness, the only difference is that all this woeful wokeness is being forced upon the Toronto Police Service by that non-elected and unaccountable kangaroo court, that is the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
00:28:14.760 And our whistleblower tells us that many of the rank and file simply cannot believe what they've had to endure with this training module.
00:28:23.280 Little wonder, as you are about to see for yourself, many of the videos essentially involve members of the Toronto trans community, many of whom seem to be homeless and or struggling with mental health issues, lecturing cops on the unique ways they must police transgender people.
00:28:44.400 And like everything else pertaining to the trans sanity file these days, the prevailing theme boils down to three specific points.
00:28:54.280 One, if it's trans, it's good, and if it's good, it's trans. 0.99
00:28:57.840 Two, transgender people should be treated in a special way because, well, these are special people. 0.96
00:29:04.580 And three, if anyone has a problem with the aforementioned two points, then you are insensitive at best and a hateful transphobe at worst. 0.88
00:29:16.220 The content is truly jaw-dropping, folks.
00:29:19.200 I can only imagine what goes through the heads of Toronto's finest when they are forced to sit down and watch this rainbow-hued propaganda while being forbidden to laugh out loud.
00:29:30.940 But don't take my word for it.
00:29:33.480 I've spent a few hours going through this agonizing and at times nonsensical module so that you don't have to.
00:29:41.640 Yep, you're welcome.
00:29:43.000 So without further ado, let's get to it.
00:29:46.560 The first spokesman, or I mean spokeswoman, no, that's not quite right either.
00:29:51.540 You see, this person identifies as agender.
00:29:54.980 That's A-G-E-N-D-E-R. 1.00
00:29:58.000 That means neither male or female or a trans man or a trans woman.
00:30:04.840 Yep, agender is a new one for me too, folks, so I looked it up.
00:30:09.620 Here's the definition.
00:30:10.660 Agender people see themselves as neither a man nor a woman or both.
00:30:15.400 They're gender neutral and often are described as gender-free or gender-less.
00:30:20.660 Thanks for the clarity, Merriam-Webster.
00:30:23.300 Much obliged.
00:30:24.320 Make those messages clear.
00:30:25.920 Oh, yeah, it's clear all right.
00:30:34.100 By the way, Gotham City has nothing on Hogtown these days, folks, thanks to the disgraceful stewardship of the dishonorable ex-mayor, John Tory.
00:30:45.300 Anyway, let's get more clarity from Mr. Slash Mrs. Agender, his slash herself.
00:30:53.140 Being agender in Toronto is a very pleasant experience most of the time.
00:31:03.440 I feel like there's a very vibrant, gender-diverse community.
00:31:12.080 I feel like I have a lot of peers who I can relate to.
00:31:15.920 I feel like I feel relatively safe.
00:31:21.220 If I were approached by law enforcement in Toronto, I want to be acknowledged using my preferred pronouns.
00:31:31.700 I want there to be awareness that I won't necessarily move in a way that might be expected of someone who presents like me.
00:31:46.740 And my behaviours and the way I carry myself just might be a bit different than what is anticipated.
00:32:03.280 Fascinating.
00:32:03.960 You know, it would be most helpful if those pronouns were presented in that teaching module.
00:32:10.920 Is the speaker a he, him, or a she, her, or a they, them, or a per, pers, or a ve, ver, or a z, zi?
00:32:19.020 TPS must do the necessary work to build bridges and restore trust with members of our vulnerable communities,
00:32:26.660 supported by inclusive programming, operations, and services.
00:32:32.060 TPS has conducted online and in-person consultations with experts and with members of our trans and gender-diverse communities
00:32:39.640 to receive their feedback on policies, procedures, and officer training.
00:32:44.320 It is crucial that you, as Toronto Police Officers, understand the experiences of trans individuals
00:32:50.400 in order to address their concerns and protect their safety,
00:32:54.140 while also avoiding potentially dangerous or dehumanising situations.
00:32:59.440 How you interact with trans individuals and the actions you take in the course of your duties
00:33:04.040 can make the difference between individuals and their communities feeling harmed or protected.
00:33:09.340 This training will support you in providing police services that are bias-free and trans-inclusive.
00:33:15.640 You see, it's all about getting to know the members of the transgender community,
00:33:20.540 their needs, their wants, their ambitions, their dreams.
00:33:23.800 Know you, getting to know all about you.
00:33:30.840 Getting to like you, getting to hope you're like me.
00:33:36.020 Seriously, after that pep talk from the chief, how many police officers in Toronto are now updating their resumes?
00:33:43.720 Gender refers to all the societal assumptions we make about someone connected to their assumed or assigned sex.
00:33:51.460 Gender includes an individual's roles in society, what we think they might be like or good at.
00:33:57.140 For gender, we might expect words like woman, man, and non-binary, but there's many other possible genders.
00:34:03.700 Gender includes both gender identity and gender expression.
00:34:08.400 Gender identity is a person's internal sense of their own gender.
00:34:12.980 Gender expression refers to all the ways a person conveys their gender to others,
00:34:17.800 which can include hairstyle, choosing what makeup to wear or not,
00:34:22.160 what clothes someone wears, if they wear perfume or cologne,
00:34:26.440 how someone takes up space, the pitch of a person's voice.
00:34:29.860 Other people can see, hear, or smell our gender expression.
00:34:34.820 Oh, well, thank God gender expression has a scent. 1.00
00:34:38.980 After all, we wouldn't want to exclude the canine unit when it comes to all this trans inclusion now, would we? 0.99
00:34:45.960 Just keep that dog from looking at me.
00:34:49.080 Oh, that's the scariest looking dog I've ever seen.
00:34:51.480 One of the reasons why the GDTI, the Gender Diversity Trans Inclusion Project, is so important to me,
00:34:58.040 and I feel so attached to it, is not only because I'm a gay male,
00:35:02.080 but just in the past few months, my previous niece has come out as non-binary.
00:35:08.140 So I call her my previous niece because niece is no longer appropriate.
00:35:11.460 So the two of us sort of put our heads together, did some research,
00:35:15.180 and we came up with the word nibbling, which if you Google it,
00:35:18.080 you may or may not find that it's a non-binary way to call your niece or nephew.
00:35:25.300 Did he really say nibbling?
00:35:28.360 Isn't that a brand of licorice-like candy?
00:35:31.480 Or maybe I'm thinking about canned corn from the Jolly Green Giant.
00:35:35.840 Ho, ho, ho, green giant.
00:35:37.800 And now meet Stevia, self-described as a trans man, black, multi-disabled, neurodiverse trans man.
00:35:47.320 In other words, Stevia is the perfect diversity hire for any government bureaucracy today. 0.99
00:35:52.520 Hear how we identify and respect how we identify.
00:35:57.600 Don't decide to identify as how you see and what you're accustomed to.
00:36:04.120 Hear what we have to say and respect that.
00:36:07.020 So you see me, you see breasts, you don't see a woman, you see a man who just happens to have them.
00:36:13.000 My sexual orientation is lesbian and my gender identity and gender expression is that of a woman.
00:36:20.800 So when you interact with me, it's really important that you understand that my name,
00:36:26.800 even though may not, for trans people, may legally be different than how we live our everyday lives.
00:36:34.700 And it's really important that you honor and respect that.
00:36:38.640 It also means that when you take down my sex characteristics, a male and female may not accurately describe who I am living every day.
00:36:49.120 What? So this character, once upon a time, was a man, and now he's a woman who happens to be a lesbian.
00:36:58.520 So nothing's changed, really.
00:37:01.200 He presumably liked women as a heterosexual man, and now he still likes women as a lesbian?
00:37:07.660 Is it just me or things getting really unnecessarily complicated these days?
00:37:13.480 Oh, by the way, Gapka, despite appearances, isn't a straight person camping out at Trinity Bellwoods.
00:37:20.260 He too is an advisor with the Gender Diversity Trans Inclusion Project, and he has much to say.
00:37:27.980 When you look at my sexual orientation and gender identity, it may not look on the surface as it is internally on me.
00:37:36.200 It's much so I'm attracted to women, and so that's really important.
00:37:41.980 But on gender identity as a trans woman, it's really important that you understand that who I'm attracted to,
00:37:49.140 romantically and intimately, is different than who I am every day as a woman as Susan Gapka.
00:37:56.800 So there you have it, folks.
00:37:58.320 Toronto police officers must be clairvoyants these days, a la the amazing Kreskin,
00:38:04.060 because Susan, quote, is attracted to women, and that's really important, 0.66
00:38:09.800 but it's really important as a trans woman who I am attracted to romantically and intimately,
00:38:15.920 is different than who I'm attracted to every day as a woman, or something like that, end quote.
00:38:21.900 Yeah, that makes perfect sense to me as well.
00:38:24.920 Hmm, what was the tagline of that 90s-era fitness guru Susan Powder again? 0.99
00:38:32.340 Stop the insanity! 0.65
00:38:34.940 By the way, if you want to see the whole enchilada, the entire video is available on various social media platforms,
00:38:43.400 despite the efforts of the Toronto Police Service Censorship Division, of course.
00:38:48.820 All of which brings me back to poor Inspector Gurr.
00:38:53.740 He envisioned himself as a censor supreme.
00:38:57.340 He wanted to prevent you from seeing all of that trans-sanity rubbish that the rank and file have to abide by. 1.00
00:39:06.200 But instead of having our video deleted, Inspector Gurr has manufactured his very own Barbara Streisand effect,
00:39:16.060 which is to say, now even more people, thanks to this video,
00:39:22.140 will be made aware of the woeful wokeness that continues to fester at the Toronto Police Service.
00:39:30.040 No wonder so many good cops are hanging up their holsters these days.
00:39:37.220 Oh, and speaking of the law of unintended consequences,
00:39:41.840 we have taken delivery of the second module of the transgender training that Toronto cops have to endure.
00:39:50.860 Yeah, can you believe it?
00:39:52.160 The wokesters at TPS actually came up with a sequel. 1.00
00:39:57.720 They really, really want to make sure cops realize that transgenders are super special
00:40:04.080 and that they are entitled to extra special rights.
00:40:08.660 Now, folks, truth be told, originally I wasn't going to bother doing anything about part two.
00:40:14.120 I mean, how many radical transgenders dithering on about whatever can one endure after all?
00:40:21.740 But thanks to the censorious behavior of Jack Gurr and the downright deception of P. McGee,
00:40:30.740 I think I am going to do an expose on this latest slice of transanity after all. 1.00
00:40:38.720 It's all in the name of free speech and free expression and freedom of the press.
00:40:45.020 You know, the sort of stuff Jack Gurr and P. McGee presumably hate.
00:40:51.740 So stay tuned in the days ahead, folks, as we demonstrate how hopelessly woke
00:40:57.120 and how vindictive the Toronto Police Service has become.
00:41:02.720 So I've got to ask you, in closing, how do you like them apples, Inspector Gurr?
00:41:10.400 Ah!
00:41:19.620 Well, folks, lots of response to the video that Ezra did
00:41:24.300 regarding that trumped-up trial involving ex-president Donald Trump
00:41:30.940 and that unbelievable guilty verdict.
00:41:35.180 David underscore FL writes,
00:41:38.840 53.8 million in 24 hours crashing his donation portal is winning.
00:41:47.320 You know what?
00:41:47.880 I totally agree, sir.
00:41:49.060 And I'm not sure what the polls are going to reveal.
00:41:53.240 I'm betting that Trump's popularity is going to go up a couple of points.
00:41:58.040 But now that we're heading into the summer travel season,
00:42:01.860 what I predict is when Americans go traveling 0.80
00:42:05.720 and find out just how horrific inflation is,
00:42:11.640 that will be a collective come-to-Jesus moment.
00:42:15.060 Speaking of New York folks, do you know that the average hotel room
00:42:19.720 in New York City is almost $1,000 U.S.?
00:42:25.660 Unbelievable.
00:42:27.100 2012 escapee writes,
00:42:29.480 Trump needs an attorney general willing to engage in lawfare.
00:42:34.620 Well, you know, my feeling is when Donald Trump becomes president,
00:42:38.900 and that's what I would indeed bet on,
00:42:41.300 nothing is for sure, of course,
00:42:42.560 I think it has to be a case of no more Mr. Nice Guy,
00:42:46.620 which is to say,
00:42:47.740 I don't want to see the justice system weaponized
00:42:52.160 like the Democrats have done,
00:42:53.840 but I do want to see a Republican administration
00:42:56.760 go after those Democrats that need to be put on trial
00:43:03.080 for far more nefarious behavior than a bookkeeping error.
00:43:08.180 Yeah, I'm looking at you, Hillary Clinton.
00:43:12.420 Kevin Raines writes,
00:43:14.440 if they do send him to jail, civil war will break out.
00:43:19.140 Well, you know, I don't know about civil war,
00:43:21.920 much like the 1860s,
00:43:24.340 but I can tell you this,
00:43:26.280 if Donald Trump was to be incarcerated,
00:43:29.460 I think that all but guarantees him becoming the next president.
00:43:33.960 Forget about how Republicans feel, folks.
00:43:36.500 I think level-headed Democrats and independents
00:43:40.760 will realize that this is an absolute travesty
00:43:46.360 and a tragedy for that matter.
00:43:48.100 In fact, I would say what happened took place in a kangaroo court,
00:43:51.720 except I don't want to be insulting to marsupials.
00:43:55.240 This is the first time an ex-president
00:43:59.260 and an odds-on favorite to become the next president
00:44:03.120 has been put away in jail.
00:44:04.980 Well, the weaponization of the court system
00:44:07.980 could not be more apparent.
00:44:11.240 I'm telling you, you put Mr. Trump behind bars.
00:44:15.380 The next destination for this man is the White House,
00:44:19.240 and the sooner, the better.
00:44:21.080 Well, folks, that wraps up today's edition
00:44:23.500 of the Ezra Levent Show.
00:44:25.240 Thank you so much for tuning in.
00:44:26.940 The big boss man, he'll be back here tomorrow.
00:44:29.440 In the meantime, as always, stay safe and stay sane.
