Rebel News Podcast - EZRA LEVANT ｜ Trump inspires hope, unity... unlike Biden

00:00:00.000 Hello, my friends. I'm back in Canada. What a pleasure to be here. But holy cow, my eyes are

00:00:04.140 focused today on Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where Donald Trump gave a very impassioned speech

00:00:09.240 really outlining his campaign for the White House in just a few months. It's July, so August,

00:00:15.180 September, October, November, four months from now, in so many ways, the most important moment

00:00:21.040 of the year, more important than perhaps every other country's elections combined. I want to

00:00:26.200 show you his speech, and I want to give you my comments interspersed. I'd like you to see it

00:00:31.160 with your own eyes, not just hear it. To see the video of this program, go to rebelnewsplus.com.

00:00:48.760 from Trudeau and it shows. All right, here's today's podcast.

00:00:56.200 Tonight, Donald Trump gives the most hopeful political speech I've heard in years.

00:01:11.600 It's July 19th, and this is The Ezra LeVant Show.

00:01:17.160 Shame on you, you censorious bug.

00:01:26.200 Hey, it's great to be back in Canada. I was in Ireland for a couple of days covering issues

00:01:34.300 that are shocking in Ireland itself, but are, I think, very interesting to Canadians. They're

00:01:38.900 trying to come to grips with mass immigration that their government is doing in the most

00:01:43.140 anti-democratic, abusive way possible. I mean, seriously, that one town called Dundrum,

00:01:49.920 Dundrum, which is, you know, 200 people, and it's not even a town, it's a village. The government has

00:01:55.480 just announced, poof, they're going to put 280 migrants in sort of a homemade refugee camp in a

00:02:02.720 local hotel. Not only does it take that hotel out of action as a tourist spot and a social spot for

00:02:08.580 the community, but what are you doing? Dropping 280 foreign asylum seekers as if they're even real 1.00

00:02:14.540 in a community of 200. Just nuts. Anyways, I'm back in Canada, and we had another team on the road

00:02:22.560 besides me out there in Ireland. Namely, our reporter Yankee Pollack and our videographer,

00:02:28.300 our head of video, Efra Monsanto, were down at the Milwaukee Republican National Convention. I have to

00:02:33.700 tell you, we would not have normally gone there because those things, they're fun and they're

00:02:38.440 exciting party rah-rah events, but I think it suddenly became very important to us with the

00:02:43.840 assassination attempt on Donald Trump just a week ago. So everything suddenly became so much

00:02:51.100 sharper. Everything suddenly became so much more important. And Donald Trump gave a speech last

00:02:57.620 night, a very long speech, and I'm going to show you a fair bit of it, partly because I'm absolutely

00:03:02.580 certain you have not seen this speech reported other than maybe a few seconds of it in Canada.

00:03:08.440 The Canadian media are amongst the most anti-Trump in the world. A lot of foreign media are that way.

00:03:15.000 A lot of American media are that way. I think that the value of what I'm about to show you is that

00:03:19.980 I'm guessing you haven't seen this. So I'm going to play for you a bunch of clips. Some of them are

00:03:24.560 extended. Some of them are more than five-minute clips, but I think they're useful to hear and to see

00:03:29.040 because I actually believe that unless there's another assassination attempt, Donald Trump will

00:03:34.800 be the next U.S. president. All the polls say so. And Joe Biden is imploding as we speak. I mean,

00:03:40.120 every day he seems to get more and more wobbly. His cognitive decline, his physical decline,

00:03:45.800 it really is shocking. And a lot of the Democrats and the Democrat media are finally realizing that

00:03:51.340 that Trump, his physical courage and surviving an assassin's bullet is such a contrast to Biden's

00:03:57.840 basically he's fading away right before our eyes. Anyways, let's go to the speech. Let's start with

00:04:03.400 his introduction. Delegates and fellow citizens, I stand before you this evening with a message of

00:04:11.740 confidence, strength and hope. Four months from now, we will have an incredible victory and we will begin

00:04:20.680 the four greatest years in the history of our country. Together, we will launch a new era of safety,

00:04:33.100 prosperity and freedom for citizens of every race, religion, color and creed. The discord and

00:04:41.080 division in our society must be healed. We must heal it quickly. As Americans, we are bound together by a

00:04:49.020 single fate and a shared destiny. We rise together or we fall apart. I am running to be president for all of America,

00:05:01.440 not half of America, because there is no victory in winning for half of America.

00:05:08.980 So tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly accept your nomination for president.

00:05:18.460 President of the United States. Thank you.

00:05:22.680 Confidence, strength, hope. Would anyone use those words to describe Joe Biden? I mean, it's he is the

00:05:31.200 physical impersonation of those ideas. Same thing with the words safety, prosperity and freedom.

00:05:39.600 When was the last time you heard Joe Biden talk about those things? I mean, I suppose he does

00:05:43.880 occasionally use the words, but only in the same way that Orwell's Ministry of Truth would use the

00:05:48.460 words. And what's interesting is after the man was shot, he didn't become angry or bitter. In fact,

00:05:55.680 he rose above it. He's talking about unity as opposed to division. There were some astonishing and

00:06:00.140 atrocious pundits that in the wake of the assassination attempt said, oh my God, the Republicans are

00:06:06.060 going to wreak their vengeance. The opposite. There hasn't been a single riot, a single vengeance

00:06:12.080 shooting. Do you doubt that if the shoe were on the other foot, America would be under riots as it

00:06:16.820 was under Black Lives Matter? Donald Trump truly has risen to the occasion. At least I think so. 0.96

00:06:23.540 And here is his detailed description of the assassination. I really think this is interesting.

00:06:29.740 What is it like to be shot at and hit, but luckily not murdered? Here, I want to play a fair bit of

00:06:36.880 this. Here's Donald Trump describing what it was like on the other side. Let me begin this evening

00:06:42.200 by expressing my gratitude to the American people for your outpouring of love and support following

00:06:49.040 the assassination attempt at my rally on Saturday.

00:07:00.180 As you already know, the assassin's bullet came within a quarter of an inch of taking my life.

00:07:08.060 So many people have asked me what happened. Tell us what happened, please. And therefore,

00:07:14.180 I will tell you exactly what happened. And you'll never hear it from me a second time because it's actually

00:07:21.320 too painful to tell.

00:07:23.320 It was a warm, beautiful day in the early evening in Butler Township in the great

00:07:33.740 commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Music was loudly playing and the campaign was doing really well.

00:07:45.960 I went to the stage and the crowd was cheering wildly. Everybody was happy.

00:07:51.540 I began speaking very strongly, powerfully, and happily because I was discussing the great job my

00:08:03.600 administration did on immigration at the southern border. We were very proud of it. 1.00

00:08:09.100 Behind me and to the right was a large screen that was displaying a chart of border crossings under my

00:08:25.160 leadership. The numbers were absolutely amazing. In order to see the chart, I started to, like this,

00:08:36.160 turn to my right, and was ready to begin a little bit further turn, which I'm very lucky I didn't do,

00:08:49.160 when I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something hit me really, really hard on my right ear.

00:09:00.160 I said to myself, wow, what was that? It can only be a bullet, and moved my right hand to my ear,

00:09:12.160 brought it down. My hand was covered with blood, just absolutely blood all over the place. I immediately knew it

00:09:22.160 was very serious, that we were under attack, and in one movement proceeded to drop to the ground.

00:09:32.160 Bullets were continuing to fly as very brave Secret Service agents rushed to the stage, and they really did.

00:09:41.160 They rushed to the stage. These are great people at great risk, I will tell you, and pounced on top of me so that I would be protected.

00:10:02.160 There was blood pouring everywhere, and yet, in a certain way, I felt very safe, because I had God on my side. I felt that.

00:10:13.160 Thank you.

00:10:27.160 The amazing thing is that prior to the shot, if I had not moved my head at that very last instant, the assassin's bullet would have

00:10:38.160 perfectly hit its mark, and I would not be here tonight. We would not be together.

00:10:46.160 The most incredible aspect of what took place on that terrible evening in the fading sun was actually seen later.

00:10:56.160 In almost all cases, as you probably know, and when even a single bullet is fired, just a single bullet,

00:11:05.160 and we had many bullets that were being fired. Crowds run for the exits or stampede, but not in this case.

00:11:14.160 It was very unusual.

00:11:22.160 This massive crowd of tens of thousands of people stood by and didn't move an inch.

00:11:28.160 In fact, many of them bravely but automatically stood up looking for where the sniper would be.

00:11:35.160 They knew immediately it was a sniper. And then began pointing at him.

00:11:40.160 You can see that if you look at the group behind me. That was just a small group compared to what was in front.

00:11:47.160 Nobody ran, and by not stampeding, many lives were saved. But that isn't the reason.

00:11:55.160 That they didn't move. The reason is that they knew I was in very serious trouble.

00:12:03.160 They saw it. They saw me go down. They saw the blood.

00:12:07.160 And thought, actually most did, that I was dead.

00:12:14.160 They knew it was a shot to the head. They saw the blood.

00:12:17.160 And there's an interesting statistic. The ears are the bloodiest part.

00:12:23.160 If something happens with the ears, they bleed more than any other part of the body.

00:12:27.160 For whatever reason, the doctors told me that. And they said, why is there so much blood?

00:12:32.160 He said, it's the ears. They bleed more. So we learned something.

00:12:36.160 But they just — they just — this beautiful crowd. They didn't want to leave me.

00:12:43.160 They knew I was in trouble. They didn't want to leave me. And you can see that love written all over their faces.

00:12:50.160 Incredible people. They're incredible people.

00:12:57.160 Bullets were flying over us. Yet I felt serene.

00:13:01.160 But now the Secret Service agents were putting themselves in peril.

00:13:06.160 They were in very dangerous territory. Bullets were flying right over them, missing them by a very small amount of inches.

00:13:16.160 And then it all stopped. Our Secret Service sniper, from a much greater distance, and with only one bullet used,

00:13:28.160 took the assassin's life. Took them out.

00:13:39.160 I'm not supposed to be here tonight. I'm not supposed to be here.

00:13:43.160 Yes, you are! Yes, you are!

00:13:47.160 Yes, you are! Yes, you are! Yes, you are! Yes, you are! Yes, you are!

00:14:03.160 Thank you. But I'm not. And I'll tell you, I stand before you in this arena only by the grace of Almighty God.

00:14:16.160 And watching the reports over the last few days, many people say it was a providential moment. Probably was.

00:14:36.160 I really do think it was miraculous. And I'm not a particularly religious person.

00:14:40.160 I mean, you could call it a coincidence or a lucky chance, but I really think it's more accurate to call it a miracle.

00:14:48.160 I mean, the bullet came so close, it punctured his ear, for God's sakes.

00:14:54.160 It was a miracle not just for Trump, but for the whole country and for the whole world.

00:15:00.160 I mean, imagine what would have turned on it had he been killed or terribly injured.

00:15:06.160 There's obviously a lot of questions for the United States Secret Service to answer.

00:15:11.160 We've seen some atrocious first answers. Why did you not have someone securing the top where the shooter was?

00:15:18.160 It turns out that the shooter was identified in advance, not just minutes, but even half an hour or even hours in advance.

00:15:26.160 The shooter's parents called authorities before he had shot anyone.

00:15:30.160 So many, so many astonishing lapses. And until we have a full flushing out of the facts there, conspiracy theories will rule the roost.

00:15:41.160 And the thing is, it's sort of hard to even call them conspiracy theories, given if you look at how the deep state has conspired to take out Donald Trump.

00:15:50.160 I know it's a terrible thing to say, but it looked like they set him up for the kill.

00:15:55.160 Hopefully the facts will prove that theory wrong, but we don't have the facts yet.

00:16:00.160 I see that the head of the Secret Service is doing the liberal media rounds on CNN, for example, but won't talk to Congress.

00:16:07.160 Absolutely astonishing. By the way, four U.S. presidents have been killed. That's almost 10 percent.

00:16:14.160 I mean, that's it's an extreme hazard of the profession.

00:16:19.160 Abraham Lincoln, presidents Garfield, McKinley, of course, John F. Kennedy and several others.

00:16:25.160 There was an attempted assassination. You might recall Ronald Reagan was shot and hospitalized very shortly after becoming president.

00:16:33.160 Thank God, because he helped transform the world in so many ways, including bringing about the end of the Soviet Empire. 0.92

00:16:40.160 Imagine what would have happened had that been successful in other countries, too.

00:16:44.160 If you remember Yair Bolsonaro, who was a Trump style reformer in Brazil, he was stabbed and lost most of his blood just weeks before his election.

00:16:54.160 And in a way, why wouldn't you try to assassinate someone if the whole world was at stake?

00:16:59.160 Everything turns on Trump's election. Of course, the war in Russia and Ukraine. Of course, Taiwan. Of course, the Middle East.

00:17:07.160 All of it turns on whether Trump or Biden wins.

00:17:11.160 So if hundreds of thousands will die or not die in wars that do or don't happen, if trillions of dollars is at stake, if the remaking of the entire world's geopolitical arrangements is at stake, why wouldn't you? 0.97

00:17:26.160 If you had a stake in stopping Trump, why wouldn't you try and shoot him? Of course you would. 0.96

00:17:32.160 Here's a little bit more. I'm going to play a little bit more of the clip about the victims of that shooting.

00:17:39.160 Of course, Trump survived it, but someone else did not. Take a look.

00:17:42.160 When I rose surrounded by Secret Service, the crowd was confused because they thought I was dead.

00:17:49.160 And there was great, great sorrow. I could see that on their faces as I looked out.

00:17:54.160 They didn't know I was looking out. They thought it was over.

00:17:58.160 But I could see it. I wanted to do something to let them know I was okay.

00:18:03.160 I raised my right arm, looked at the thousands and thousands of people that were breathlessly waiting,

00:18:11.160 and started shouting fight, fight, fight.

00:18:15.160 Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, fight.

00:18:25.160 Thank you.

00:18:27.160 Once my clenched fist went up, and it was high into the air, you've all seen that, the crowd realized I was okay and roared with pride for our country like no crowd I have ever heard before.

00:18:49.920 Never heard anything like that.

00:18:51.840 For the rest of my life, I will be grateful for the love shown by that giant audience of patriots that stood bravely on that fateful evening in Pennsylvania.

00:19:07.840 Tragically, the shooter claimed the life of one of our fellow Americans, Cory, comparator, unbelievable person, everybody tells me.

00:19:21.840 Unbelievable.

00:19:23.840 And seriously wounded.

00:19:26.840 Two other great warriors.

00:19:29.840 Spoke to them today.

00:19:31.840 David Dutch and James Copenhaver.

00:19:35.840 Two great people.

00:19:38.840 I also spoke to all three families of these tremendous people.

00:19:44.840 Our love and prayers are with them and always will be.

00:19:49.840 We're never going to forget them.

00:19:50.840 They came for a great rally.

00:19:52.840 They were serious Trumpsters, I want to tell you.

00:19:55.840 They were serious Trumpsters and still are.

00:19:57.840 But Cory, unfortunately, we have to use the past tense.

00:20:01.840 He was incredible.

00:20:02.840 He was a highly respected former fire chief, respected by everybody.

00:20:06.840 He was accompanied by his wife, Helen.

00:20:11.840 Incredible woman.

00:20:12.840 I spoke to her today.

00:20:13.840 Devastated.

00:20:14.840 And two precious daughters.

00:20:16.840 He lost his life selflessly acting as a human shield to protect them from flying bullets.

00:20:22.840 He went right over the top of them and was hit.

00:20:25.840 What a fine man he was.

00:20:28.840 Thank you.

00:20:51.840 analyser

00:20:57.840 I ask that we observe a moment of silence in honor of our friend Corey.

00:21:27.840 There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for others.

00:21:33.100 This is the spirit that forged America in her darkest hours.

00:21:38.100 And this is the love that will lead America back to the summit of human achievement and greatness.

00:21:45.040 This is what we need.

00:21:46.720 Despite such a heinous attack, we unite this evening more determined than ever.

00:21:53.300 I am more determined than ever, and so are you.

00:21:56.080 So is everybody.

00:21:57.840 You know, that uniform of the firefighter who was killed, the pettiness of the Democrats

00:22:05.060 online, claiming that wasn't the real uniform of Comparatore because the uniform, his name

00:22:12.300 on his uniform wasn't spelt correctly.

00:22:15.100 They were trying to say, oh, this is a hoax or something.

00:22:17.620 Then again, the Democrats and the pundits and the leftists have said much more astonishing

00:22:24.120 things, many of them cheering for the would-be assassin, including plenty of Canadians cheering

00:22:30.260 for the would-be assassin as well.

00:22:33.580 Here, I just want to show you a little bit more.

00:22:35.560 But first, Trump continued by talking about the weaponization of the state against him, not just physical weapons like guns, but using the Department of Justice and other prosecutorial

00:22:52.940 No means to go after him, something that he himself never did to, say, Hillary Clinton.

00:22:58.160 Here, take a look.

00:22:59.160 This election should be about the issues facing our country and how to make America successful,

00:23:05.160 safe, free, and great again in an age when our politics too often divide us.

00:23:18.380 Now is the time to remember that we are all fellow citizens.

00:23:22.220 We are one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

00:23:28.300 And we must not criminalize dissent or demonize political disagreement, which is what's been

00:23:44.480 happening in our country lately at a level that nobody has ever seen before.

00:23:49.900 In that spirit, the Democrat Party should immediately stop weaponizing the justice system and labeling

00:23:56.020 their political opponent.

00:23:58.300 As an enemy of democracy.

00:24:05.020 Especially since that is not true.

00:24:07.720 In fact, I am the one saving democracy for the people of our country.

00:24:21.520 And very big news, as you probably just read, on Monday, a major ruling was handed down

00:24:28.120 from a highly respected federal judge in Florida, Eileen Cannon, finding that the prosecutor and

00:24:36.340 the fake documents case against me were totally unconstitutional.

00:24:42.220 And the entire case was thrown out of court.

00:24:47.440 With all of that publicity thrown out of court.

00:24:53.440 If Democrats want to unify our country, they should drop these partisan witch hunts, which I have been going

00:25:02.200 through for approximately eight years.

00:25:04.660 And they should do that without delay and allow an election to proceed that is worthy of our people.

00:25:11.380 We're going to win it anyway.

00:25:12.880 All right, on to the substance, words like respected, secure, patriotic, law and order.

00:25:24.220 These are the words that describe his vision.

00:25:26.320 Those are words that no one has heard in four years.

00:25:28.940 When was the last time that Joe Biden, or for that matter, Justin Trudeau, called on people to be patriotic?

00:25:35.520 I mean, in half the cities and towns in Canada, Canada Day celebrations were canceled.

00:25:41.080 I mean, Trudeau says that we are a genocidal regime.

00:25:43.940 He says that about Canada.

00:25:45.660 Joe Biden, not quite as abusive to his own country.

00:25:48.740 But when was the last time you heard a party on the left use the word patriotism?

00:25:52.480 They hate that.

00:25:53.520 They call that white supremacy.

00:25:54.920 You know, Trump summarizes a nation in decline, but that mirrors Joe Biden's own decline.

00:26:02.160 I mean, both men are the physical and mental embodiment, personification of their beliefs.

00:26:10.880 Like, it really is quite astonishing that in their physical personages, even though both men are very old,

00:26:19.120 one's decrepit and one is vivacious, they are the living expression of their ideas.

00:26:24.660 Trump tackles the cost of living issue, talks about inflation, couldn't be more opposite to Biden or even Trudeau,

00:26:32.440 or even the British Conservative Party in their net zero BS.

00:26:36.300 Here, watch the next clip.

00:26:37.540 Under our leadership, the United States will be respected again.

00:26:41.920 No nation will question our power.

00:26:43.940 No enemy will doubt our might.

00:26:46.360 Our borders will be totally secure.

00:26:48.660 Our economy will soar.

00:26:50.100 We will return law and order to our streets, patriotism to our schools,

00:26:55.900 and importantly, we will restore peace, stability, and harmony all throughout the world.

00:27:01.840 But to achieve this future, we must first rescue our nation from failed and even incompetent leadership.

00:27:12.100 We have totally incompetent leadership.

00:27:14.900 This will be the most important election in the history of our country.

00:27:20.140 Under the current administration, we are indeed a nation in decline.

00:27:26.220 We have an inflation crisis that is making life unaffordable, ravaging the incomes of working and low-income families,

00:27:33.620 and crushing, just simply crushing our people like never before.

00:27:38.680 They've never seen anything like it.

00:27:40.420 We also have an illegal immigration crisis, and it's taking place right now as we sit here in this beautiful arena.

00:27:51.300 It's a massive invasion at our southern border that has spread misery, crime, poverty, disease, and destruction to communities all across our land.

00:28:01.280 Nobody's ever seen anything like it.

00:28:03.040 Then there's an international crisis, the likes of which the world has seldom been part of.

00:28:11.220 Nobody can believe what's happening.

00:28:12.840 War is now raging in Europe and the Middle East.

00:28:15.780 A growing specter of conflict hangs over Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, and all of Asia.

00:28:22.440 And our planet is teetering on the edge of World War III.

00:28:26.840 And this will be a war like no other war because of weaponry.

00:28:30.220 The weapons are no longer army tanks going back and forth, shooting at each other.

00:28:36.100 These weapons are obliteration.

00:28:40.080 It's time for a change.

00:28:42.380 This administration can't come close to solving the problems.

00:28:46.560 We're dealing with very tough, very fierce people.

00:28:50.780 They're fierce people.

00:28:51.660 And we don't have fierce people.

00:28:55.380 We have people that are a lot less than fierce, except when it comes to cheating on elections and a couple of other things.

00:29:02.540 Then they're fierce.

00:29:04.320 Then they're fierce.

00:29:05.540 So tonight, I make this pledge to the great people of America.

00:29:14.780 I will end the devastating inflation crisis immediately, bring down interest rates, and lower the cost of energy.

00:29:21.460 We will drill, baby, drill.

00:29:23.520 We will drill, baby, drill.

00:29:25.060 Can you believe what they're doing?

00:29:52.060 But by doing that, we will lead a large-scale decline in prices.

00:29:57.360 Prices will start to come down.

00:29:58.960 Energy raised it.

00:30:00.660 They took our energy policies and destroyed them.

00:30:02.960 Then they immediately went back to them.

00:30:04.560 But by that time, so much was lost.

00:30:07.860 But we will do it at levels that nobody's ever seen before.

00:30:10.760 And we'll end lots of different things.

00:30:14.160 We'll start paying off debt and start lowering taxes even further.

00:30:17.360 We gave you the largest tax cut.

00:30:19.760 We'll do it more.

00:30:21.260 I will end the illegal immigration crisis by closing our border and finishing the wall, 1.00

00:30:27.360 most of which I've already built.

00:30:37.760 I will end every single international crisis that the current administration has created,

00:30:44.260 including the horrible war with Russia and Ukraine, which would have never happened if I was president.

00:30:50.360 And the war caused by the attack on Israel, which would have never happened if I was president.

00:30:58.360 The damage that he's done to this country is unthinkable.

00:31:01.360 It's unthinkable.

00:31:02.360 Together, we will restore vision, strength, competence.

00:31:08.460 And we're going to have a thing called common sense, making most of our decisions, actually.

00:31:13.460 It's all common sense.

00:31:15.460 First, we must get economic relief to our citizens.

00:31:19.460 And starting on day one, we will drive down prices and make America affordable again.

00:31:24.560 We have to make it affordable.

00:31:25.560 It's not affordable.

00:31:26.560 People can't live like this.

00:31:29.560 Under this administration, our current administration, groceries are up 57 percent.

00:31:36.560 Gasoline is up 60 and 70 percent.

00:31:39.560 Mortgage rates have quadrupled.

00:31:42.660 And the fact is, it doesn't matter what they are because you can't get the money anyway.

00:31:46.660 You can't buy houses.

00:31:47.660 Young people can't get any financing to buy a house. 1.00

00:31:50.160 The total household costs have increased an average of $28,000 per family under this administration.

00:31:58.660 Republicans have a plan to bring down prices and bring them down very, very rapidly.

00:32:04.460 By slashing energy costs, we will, in turn, reduce the cost of transportation, manufacturing, and all household goods.

00:32:13.060 So much starts with energy.

00:32:16.560 And remember, we have more liquid gold under our feet than any other country by far.

00:32:20.960 We are a nation that has the opportunity to make an absolute fortune with its energy.

00:32:29.860 We have it, and China does it. 0.99

00:32:32.560 Under the Trump administration, just three and a half years ago, we were energy independent.

00:32:39.660 But soon, we will actually be better than that.

00:32:42.660 We will be energy dominant and supply not only ourselves, but we will supply the rest of the world.

00:32:50.460 Trump talks more about peace later.

00:32:52.960 It's a very important thing.

00:32:53.860 It's very interesting for Republicans to embrace peace.

00:32:56.660 Like I mentioned before, he's taking on the green left's BS, including their love for locking in oil and gas and promoting green schemes that aren't very green.

00:33:09.760 Here, look at this clip.

00:33:10.760 And next, we will end the ridiculous and actually incredible waste of taxpayer dollars that is fueling the inflation crisis.

00:33:17.760 They've spent trillions of dollars on things having to do with the green new scam. 0.98

00:33:22.860 It's a scam.

00:33:24.860 And that's caused tremendous inflationary pressures in addition to the cost of energy.

00:33:30.860 And all of the trillions of dollars that are sitting there not yet spent, we will redirect that money for important projects like roads, bridges, dams.

00:33:39.860 And we will not allow it to be spent on meaningless green new scam ideas.

00:33:54.960 And I will end the electric vehicle mandate on day one.

00:34:04.960 Thereby saving the U.S. auto industry from complete obliteration, which is happening right now, and saving U.S. customers thousands and thousands of dollars per car.

00:34:16.160 This next idea probably doesn't make a lot of sense logically or from a strictly economics point of view.

00:34:22.920 I mean, why should tips for a waiter, a ratess, or a bartender be treated as a special kind of income that's not taxed compared to any other kind of income?

00:34:32.120 Except that it is obviously a hand up to working people, young people, single moms, the kind of people who need help more than the billionaires.

00:34:41.280 Like someone who gets tips is probably at the lower economic rungs of the ladder.

00:34:45.580 And Trump is saying, don't worry, not going to tax your tips.

00:34:48.500 That's the logic of it, that he's helping ordinary people, not billionaires.

00:34:51.680 I mean, it's money going to the working class in dribs and drabs, you know, in hundreds of dollars or in thousands of dollars.

00:34:57.840 There's not billions going to lobbyists or schemers or scanners.

00:35:01.160 Like in Canada, Justin Trudeau gives tens of billions of dollars away to electric vehicle battery makers.

00:35:09.020 Trump's saying, no, no, if you're out there shining shoes or a delivery boy, you got to keep your tips tax free.

00:35:16.000 Who's really for the workers?

00:35:17.500 Here's Trump using the word workers again.

00:35:20.040 Whereas the only workers, the Democrats in the States or the new Democrats in Canada care about, are government union workers.

00:35:27.460 Take a look.

00:35:27.900 At the center of our plan for economic relief are massive tax cuts for workers that include something else that turned out to be very popular, actually.

00:35:39.360 Here it's very popular in this building and all those hotels that I saw that are so nice.

00:35:44.420 I'm staying in a nice one.

00:35:46.340 It's called No Tax on Tips.

00:35:49.100 No Tax on Tips.

00:35:51.960 No Tax on Tips.

00:35:54.940 Everybody loves it.

00:35:57.320 Waitresses and caddies and drivers and everybody's a large, large group of people that are being really hurt badly.

00:36:05.920 They make money.

00:36:06.840 Let them keep their money.

00:36:08.280 Trump takes on the border issue, the immigration issue, which is a hot issue everywhere in the Western world.

00:36:13.640 I think that Trump's exaggerating his past accomplishments here, but it is true that the border, for all intents and purposes, simply does not even exist under Joe Biden.

00:36:23.980 Take a look.

00:36:24.480 The greatest invasion in history is taking place right here in our country.

00:36:28.620 They are coming in from every corner of the earth, not just from South America, but from Africa, Asia, the Middle East.

00:36:35.660 They're coming from everywhere.

00:36:37.240 They're coming at levels that we've never seen before.

00:36:39.640 It is an invasion indeed, and this administration does absolutely nothing to stop them.

00:36:47.400 They're coming from prisons.

00:36:49.500 They're coming from jails.

00:36:50.880 They're coming from mental institutions and insane asylums.

00:36:55.800 You know, the press is always on me because I say this.

00:36:59.640 Has anyone seen Silence of the Lambs?

00:37:02.140 The late, great Hannibal Lecter.

00:37:08.940 He'd love to have you for dinner.

00:37:15.060 That's insane asylums.

00:37:16.560 They're emptying out their insane asylums. 0.99

00:37:19.140 And terrorists are coming in at numbers that we've never seen before.

00:37:22.620 Bad things are going to happen.

00:37:24.100 Meanwhile, our crime rate is going up while crime statistics all over the world are going down.

00:37:31.400 Because they're taking their criminals and they're putting them into our country. 1.00

00:37:35.940 But we've become a dumping ground for the rest of the world, which is laughing at us. 1.00

00:37:40.580 They think we're stupid. 1.00

00:37:42.400 And they can't believe that they're getting away with what they're getting away with. 1.00

00:37:46.680 But they're not going to be getting away with it for long.

00:37:49.180 That's what I can tell you.

00:37:56.300 In Venezuela, Caracas, high crime, high crime.

00:38:02.700 Caracas, Venezuela, really a dangerous place.

00:38:07.580 But not anymore.

00:38:09.420 Because in Venezuela, crime is down 72%.

00:38:12.960 In fact, if they would ever win this election, I hate to even say that,

00:38:18.220 we will have our next Republican convention in Venezuela because it will be safe.

00:38:24.200 Our cities will be so unsafe, we won't be able.

00:38:28.100 We will not be able to have it there.

00:38:30.080 In El Salvador, murders are down by 70%.

00:38:33.640 Why are they down?

00:38:35.680 Now, he would have you convinced that because he's trained murderers to be wonderful people.

00:38:41.360 No, they're down because they're sending their murderers to the United States of America.

00:38:49.220 This is going to be very bad.

00:38:53.020 And bad things are going to happen, and you're seeing it happen all the time.

00:38:56.520 That's why, to keep our families safe, the Republican platform promises to launch the largest deportation operation in the history of our country.

00:39:04.940 Even larger than that of President Dwight D. Eisenhower from many years ago.

00:39:14.940 Well, that's the thing, isn't it?

00:39:16.180 The first rule of holes is that when you're in one, stop digging.

00:39:20.240 But you have to undo the damage, too.

00:39:22.800 He really does need to deport millions of people.

00:39:28.440 And we have to do the same proportionally up here.

00:39:31.600 It's not enough just to stop illegal migration.

00:39:34.100 You've got to get out the illegals who are here already. 1.00

00:39:36.500 Hopefully, Trump will win.

00:39:37.760 And hopefully, that will move the Overton window to normalize deporting illegal aliens.

00:39:43.580 We need that up here in Canada, too.

00:39:45.120 If Trump wins, by the way, expect literally hundreds of thousands or maybe millions to try to walk across the border to Canada.

00:39:54.660 If you're an illegal migrant who's in the United States, and Trump wins, and he says he's going to deport you, why wouldn't you just walk across into Canada? 0.56

00:40:05.040 You think Trudeau's going to kick you out?

00:40:07.760 Trump talks a little bit more about war and peace.

00:40:09.760 Take a look.

00:40:10.080 I was the first president in modern times to start no new wars.

00:40:15.160 You know, we were the toughest.

00:40:16.300 We were the most respected.

00:40:17.480 Under President Bush, Russia invaded Georgia.

00:40:25.200 Under President Obama, Russia took Crimea.

00:40:29.940 Under the current administration, Russia is after all of Ukraine.

00:40:35.880 Under President Trump, Russia took nothing.

00:40:40.140 We defeated 100% of ISIS in Syria and Iraq, something that was said to take five years, sir.

00:41:02.720 It'll take five years, sir.

00:41:05.420 We did it in a matter of a couple of months.

00:41:07.960 We have a great military.

00:41:09.560 Our military is not woke. 1.00

00:41:10.940 It's just some of the fools on top that are woke. 0.99

00:41:21.540 I got along very well. 1.00

00:41:23.320 North Korea, Kim Jong-un, I got along very well with him.

00:41:26.040 The press hated when I said that.

00:41:27.380 How could you get along with him?

00:41:28.700 Well, you know, it's nice to get along with somebody who has a lot of nuclear weapons or otherwise, isn't it?

00:41:34.820 See, in the old days, they'd say, that's a wonderful thing.

00:41:38.440 Now, they say, how could you possibly do that?

00:41:41.860 But now I got along with him, and we stopped the missile launchers from North Korea.

00:41:46.600 Now, North Korea is acting up again.

00:41:48.340 But when we get back, I get along with him.

00:41:52.500 He'd like to see me back, too.

00:41:54.280 I think he misses me, if you want to know the truth.

00:41:56.120 Our opponents inherited a world at peace and turned it into a planet of war.

00:42:04.840 We're in a planet of war.

00:42:07.040 Look at that attack on Israel.

00:42:08.900 Look at what's happening with Ukraine.

00:42:12.860 The cities are just bombed out.

00:42:14.800 How can people live like that where buildings, massive buildings, are falling to the ground?

00:42:19.260 Do you doubt a word of that?

00:42:21.340 I mean, Trump can be grandiose, and he can praise himself.

00:42:24.360 But do you doubt that?

00:42:26.320 And he reminds people of the worst moments under Biden,

00:42:29.200 like the appalling escape from Afghanistan,

00:42:33.140 leaving behind billions of dollars worth of military equipment,

00:42:36.220 let alone leaving behind hundreds or thousands of friends and allies.

00:42:40.200 Take a look.

00:42:40.900 It began to unravel with the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan,

00:42:45.200 the worst humiliation in the history of our country.

00:42:47.580 We have never had a humiliation like that.

00:42:50.800 Thirteen heroic U.S. service members were tragically and needlessly killed.

00:42:55.440 Forty-five others were horrifically wounded.

00:42:57.600 Nobody ever talks about them.

00:42:59.680 No arms, no legs.

00:43:02.240 Face explosions.

00:43:04.700 Horrifically, horrifically wounded.

00:43:06.960 And we also left behind $85 billion worth of military equipment,

00:43:13.640 along with many American citizens were left behind.

00:43:16.440 Many, many American citizens.

00:43:20.820 Emboldened by that disaster, Russia invaded Ukraine. 0.54

00:43:23.880 They saw this group of people that were incompetent.

00:43:26.100 We took the soldiers out first.

00:43:27.940 No, no, we're going to take the soldiers out second.

00:43:30.240 If they would have followed my plan, we had a great plan.

00:43:33.500 But the plan only kicked in if they did everything perfectly.

00:43:36.500 And they weren't doing things perfectly.

00:43:37.960 So we said it doesn't kick in.

00:43:39.980 And then we had that horrible day where soldiers were killed. 0.97

00:43:42.980 I was not there because of a ridiculous election. 0.95

00:43:46.820 But we had that horrible attack. 0.69

00:43:49.360 And they also gave up Bagram, one of the biggest bases anywhere in the world.

00:43:53.340 Air bases, anywhere in the world.

00:43:54.640 The longest runways, most powerful, hardened, thickened runways.

00:43:59.380 We gave it up.

00:44:00.300 And I liked it not because of Afghanistan.

00:44:03.380 I liked it because of China.

00:44:04.540 It's one hour away from where China makes their nuclear weapons. 0.83

00:44:08.020 And you know who has it now?

00:44:10.540 China has it now.

00:44:12.460 We were keeping that.

00:44:16.380 And now China is likewise circling Taiwan and Russian warships and nuclear submarines are operating 60 miles off the coast in Cuba.

00:44:26.420 Do you know that?

00:44:27.100 The press refuses to write about it.

00:44:28.980 This next line about the hostages was amazing.

00:44:32.800 If you're in any doubt, he was talking about the American citizens who were in Israel that Hamas took hostage and has held for nearly a year.

00:44:40.680 Trudeau and Jolie have never spoken that way.

00:44:43.320 They've never said, hey, give our Canadians back.

00:44:46.420 Listen to Trump.

00:44:47.340 And the entire world, I tell you this, we want our hostages back.

00:44:53.220 And they better be back before I assume office.

00:44:57.040 Or you will be paying a very big price.

00:44:59.520 With our victory in November, the years of war, weakness and chaos will be over.

00:45:23.880 I don't have wars.

00:45:26.020 I had no wars other than ISIS, which I defeated.

00:45:28.600 But that was a war that was started.

00:45:29.920 We had no wars.

00:45:31.020 I could stop wars with a telephone call.

00:45:34.160 I could stop wars with just a telephone call.

00:45:37.000 If properly stated, it would never start.

00:45:42.580 We will replenish our military and build an Iron Dome missile defense system to ensure that no enemy can strike our homeland.

00:45:51.260 And this great Iron Dome will be built entirely in the USA.

00:45:57.000 We're going to build it.

00:45:57.760 Here's just one more line that I liked.

00:46:01.560 Take a look.

00:46:02.640 Let it be done.

00:46:03.600 We will not have men playing in women's sports. 0.84

00:46:07.180 That will end immediately.

00:46:15.760 Common sense that the Biden Democrats won't say.

00:46:18.880 I mean, Biden nominated a Supreme Court justice who literally would not answer the question, what is a woman?

00:46:23.780 And I think that 80% of Americans and Canadians think that is baloney.

00:46:31.240 Now, look, I've cut out quite a bit because it was such a long speech.

00:46:35.300 But I hope that you had a good flavor of it.

00:46:38.820 You understand what the man is like.

00:46:40.340 Biden does not have the stamina to stand still for that long, let alone to read or speak for that long.

00:46:48.760 Here he is the other day.

00:46:49.960 This was an incredible moment.

00:46:51.340 Just a few seconds.

00:46:52.120 He thought that this lovely blonde lady he was talking to was his wife. 0.89

00:46:57.140 And he was obviously about to kiss her until his actual wife stepped in and stopped him. 1.00

00:47:02.740 Yeah.

00:47:03.840 Now, in a democracy, Trump would win.

00:47:07.040 But I'm not sure if there's a lot of democracy in the United States these days.

00:47:11.720 A week ago, there was an assassination attempt that came incredibly close to succeeding.

00:47:17.540 Bizarre misconduct from the United States Secret Service.

00:47:19.760 And now that was an attempt to undemocratically end Donald Trump.

00:47:24.980 But now that Biden is so clearly a liability to the Democrats, donors to the Democrats are trying to install a new Democrat leader.

00:47:32.420 They had their primary process.

00:47:35.200 He is the elected Democrat Party standard bearer for the next election.

00:47:39.960 But insiders are trying to replace him, threatening him that they won't donate if he doesn't step aside.

00:47:44.920 But funny enough, they only want him to step aside as the election candidate.

00:47:48.820 They're not calling for him to step down to running the country.

00:47:52.980 Because obviously he's not running the country.

00:47:55.120 Some hidden hands are.

00:47:56.400 I imagine the same donors who want him to step aside for the election are the same donors who are truly running the country today.

00:48:03.560 I think there's a new optimism out there for people on our side of the political divide.

00:48:09.320 But there's still that incredible question.

00:48:12.740 Will Donald Trump be able to stay alive until Election Day?

00:48:19.340 Stay with us for more.

00:48:20.360 What do you think of Trump's speech?

00:48:34.960 You know, Pierre Polyev gives good speeches too.

00:48:37.400 And they're important.

00:48:38.520 And I think he nails it.

00:48:40.140 But Trump is twice as bold and ten times as important.

00:48:45.500 I mean, obviously I want Pierre Polyev to win.

00:48:47.240 Obviously, Justin Trudeau must be removed.

00:48:51.000 But the entire fate of the entire world doesn't ride on the Canadian election.

00:48:54.660 I believe that the entire world turns on the fate of the American election.

00:48:59.880 I mean, I was in Ireland and I went by this castle called Cashel.

00:49:06.600 And it was a thousand-year-old plus castle where the kings used to sit.

00:49:12.620 And it was mighty, but now Ireland is being overrun.

00:49:16.260 And France had a great empire.

00:49:20.500 And the Brits had a great empire.

00:49:22.680 Things rise and fall.

00:49:24.100 Things come and go.

00:49:25.800 Constantinople was once the largest, richest, and most Christian city in the world.

00:49:30.340 Now it's not Christian anymore. 1.00

00:49:32.640 It's a Muslim city called Istanbul.

00:49:34.820 The mighty Hagia Sophia Church was turned into a mosque and now a museum.

00:49:38.520 Egypt was once a Christian country.

00:49:41.800 So it was Iraq.

00:49:42.920 Not anymore.

00:49:43.880 Things change.

00:49:46.120 Empires rise and fall.

00:49:47.700 And I really feel that the election this November in the United States is a key turning point.

00:49:54.540 Will the American...

00:49:55.160 American empire is the wrong word because it really is not an empire in the traditional definition.

00:50:01.500 It's a moral empire.

00:50:02.600 It's an economic empire.

00:50:03.980 I suppose it is to some degree a military empire.

00:50:06.340 But it's just a force for peace and freedom and justice and prosperity in the world like nothing else.

00:50:12.480 I don't believe America will survive in its current state if Donald Trump is not reelected.

00:50:19.400 What do you think?

00:50:20.200 Send me an email at ezra at rebelnews.com if you agree or disagree.

00:50:24.780 Until next time, on behalf of all of us here at Rebel World Headquarters, to you at home, good night.

00:50:30.580 And keep fighting for freedom.
