Rebel News Podcast - EZRA LEVANT ｜ Welcome to 2023： Let's start the year looking at my nine favorite clips from 2022

00:00:00.000 Hello, my Rebels. Today is something that I haven't done yet. It's my nine, I'm not going

00:00:05.420 to say favorite videos of 2022, but nine videos that I think represent the year,

00:00:11.600 including the best and the worst. That's ahead. But first, let me invite you to become a subscriber

00:00:16.440 to Rebel News Plus. It's the video version of this broadcast. I think it's especially important

00:00:21.420 today since we have such a video focused show. Just go to rebelnewsplus.com, click subscribe.

00:00:26.300 It's eight bucks a month. We need that money because we don't take any money from the government.

00:00:30.360 So we rely on supporters like you. All right. Here's today's podcast. Thanks.

00:00:34.980 Welcome to 2023. Let's start with looking at my nine favorite clips from 2022. It's January 2nd,

00:00:42.240 and this is the Ezra Levant Show.

00:00:43.800 You're fighting for freedom. Shame on you, you sensorism bug.

00:00:56.300 Welcome back. Well, it's January 2nd, so it's a statutory holiday. So we've given the staff the

00:01:03.520 day off. We'll all be back at work tomorrow. Well, actually, I'm going to take a couple of days.

00:01:08.740 But as you know, we like to do shows even on stat holidays. So I'm pre-recording this

00:01:13.940 before the break. And when I think of the news stories of 2022, there was only really one

00:01:19.820 that was larger than all stories combined. And it was the Trucker Rebellion, the Freedom Convoy,

00:01:24.920 that not only was news in itself, but it freed so many Canadians. It broke the mindset of conformity,

00:01:31.720 the false consciousness that the propaganda media tried to impart that we all agreed to things

00:01:37.960 and that only weird extremists didn't like being locked down, didn't like vaccine mandates,

00:01:43.940 didn't like being banned from going to funerals or weddings or the gym or restaurants or being able

00:01:49.100 to travel. So the truckers were definitely the story of 2022. And not only were they,

00:01:54.920 the story and did they help free us, but they forced Justin Trudeau to reveal his true colors

00:01:58.980 as a bit of a fascist imposing martial law. I think the truckers are the story of the year

00:02:04.780 for 2022. And hopefully they'll inspire us into 2023. You know, I was thinking about it because

00:02:11.940 here we are in 2023 and we feel free again, not totally free, but freer. For example, you still

00:02:18.880 can't travel to the United States if you're not jabbed. That's a bizarre rule that of course

00:02:22.940 Joe Biden imposes. Maybe the new Congress will lift it soon. But, you know, after a blazing forest fire

00:02:30.320 that torches everything in its path, very soon green shoots begin to emerge from the black earth. I don't

00:02:37.220 know if you've ever been in a forest after a forest fire, but, you know, in a matter of weeks,

00:02:43.320 life starts to return. And I feel that that's how it is in Canada. Everything was torched. It was a civil

00:02:51.320 liberties inferno and they did such great damage to us. And though the green shoots are back and then

00:02:56.920 from the outside, life looks like it's returned to normal. I think that there is lasting damage

00:03:02.720 to our civil liberties and there's a lot of wrongs that still need to be righted. But I want to remind

00:03:07.940 you of what I thought were the top stories of 2022. I've selected nine little clips here

00:03:12.820 and half of them, of course, are from the truckers. These are some of the nine most interesting videos

00:03:18.820 of the year. The first is before the trucker convoy even arrived in Ottawa, we knew it was

00:03:24.960 important. We knew it was a grassroots rebellion. We knew that all parties, including Erin O'Toole's

00:03:30.080 conservatives opposed it. But we knew it was history in the making and we embedded journalists

00:03:35.860 in the convoy, even as it was rolling towards Ottawa. Here's our first video when we were

00:03:41.640 actually traveling with the trucks.

00:03:47.480 Hey guys, it's Spencer Bouts here. I'm from Middle Lakes, Saskatchewan by Humboldt's Aspertoon area.

00:03:59.900 I just joined up with the convoy in Saskatchewan, guys, there a couple of days ago and we've been

00:04:04.680 rolling hard, rolling strong, meeting up with lots of truckers and lots of four-wheelers here,

00:04:12.140 growing this convoy real big, real fast. The support is unbelievable.

00:04:21.300 I'm just really proud to see so many people coming together when our healthcare system kind

00:04:27.160 of took a hit and nobody was really standing up for the healthcare workers. So it's really amazing

00:04:31.820 to see everyone coming together like this. And I'm hoping that once everybody gets to Ontario,

00:04:37.080 they'll see how many people are with us and they'll see that there's really not a whole lot

00:04:42.080 they're going to be able to do without saying, we can't take any more of this.

00:04:46.680 Here in solidarity with every Canadian, with every father, every mother that had been subjugated

00:04:53.920 to this tyranny because we have to start naming things the way they are. This is not about

00:05:00.500 mandates and regulations. This is not about saving lives. This is about control. They are destroying

00:05:08.760 lives.

00:05:11.260 We are right now in front of the Supreme Court of Canada. As you can hear, the truckers are already

00:05:17.400 here as expected. They were officially to be here tomorrow morning, but they have already

00:05:23.880 come. I think they have caught the police and the government unprepared because the government

00:05:31.400 undermined the number of protesters. Justin Trudeau said it's just a fringe minority.

00:05:37.480 They have done it. They really did it. And this is not even 1% of the truckers who have come

00:05:49.420 here. This is only, this is only a couple of them. Here's a sign that reads all that is necessary

00:05:58.200 for the tribe of evil. Is that good man do nothing. This is right now Ottawa, Canada's capital.

00:06:09.480 Trucks all across the country have come down to show their resistance.

00:06:20.520 Why are you here today? We need freedom, man. Freedom? Yep. Okay. He's here for freedom.

00:06:29.160 Where did you come from? Orangeville. Why are you here today? Freedom. Freedom? That's it?

00:06:36.040 That's it. That's all, man. That's all we want as Canadians. Freedom.

00:06:58.200 Freedom, freedom. Freedom, freedom! Freedom, freedom, freedom! Freedom, freedom, got come from me.

00:07:03.160 Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom! Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom! Freedom, freedom, freedom! Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom!

00:07:13.160 Freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, on ourlands, mein Women's Wall, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom, freedom!

00:07:20.100 Well, by the time the trucks arrived in Ottawa, the whole country knew it was important and the

00:07:37.500 media that were ignoring the trucker protests knew they couldn't anymore. I went there personally.

00:07:42.680 Oh my God, it was cold. I wanted to see with my own eyes because I just didn't trust the

00:07:47.320 mainstream media. And I wanted to see how important a story this would be to Rebel News. And we knew it

00:07:51.780 was important. I was down there in Parliament Hill and the truckers invited me to hop up on their

00:07:57.000 makeshift stage to give a quick speech. I did. My speech was only a minute long, but I feel like

00:08:03.440 in the moment I summed up how I thought things were going. People were saying, well, what do we do?

00:08:08.520 What's the point? Do we try and change the government somehow? And I said, no, you don't

00:08:13.840 understand. That's not how it works. But simply just by being here and proving that you exist and

00:08:20.640 that you can tell a story that is off narrative with the establishment. Well, here's my one minute

00:08:26.020 speech to the truckers where I said they already succeeded just by being there. Take a look.

00:08:32.240 Everybody recognize this guy? Does anybody know the name Ezra LeVant?

00:08:42.300 Does anybody know the name Ezra LeVant?

00:08:48.380 Ladies and gentlemen, put your hands together for Ezra LeVant of Rebel News.

00:08:52.720 Thank you very much. Hello, everybody. It is cold today. It is cold today. Almost as cold as

00:09:04.020 Justin Trudeau's hearts. It's great to be here. And on behalf of Rebel News, I salute you.

00:09:13.520 And I say keep speaking truth to power. But I want to tell you what excites me the most about this

00:09:19.300 crowd. I see a lot of cameras, a lot of independent journalists, because when people say what do we

00:09:27.040 do about the media, I say you become the media. That's what you do. The media acts like a party.

00:09:38.000 The media party. It's a subsidiary of the Liberal Party. So you've got to tell the story yourselves.

00:09:45.200 Everyone who is here, everyone who is along the road, has to bear witness and testify to what

00:09:52.940 they saw. Because there's two competing narratives. The government says you're racist. The government

00:10:00.840 says you're sexist. The government says you're violent. In the meantime, I've never seen a more 0.93

00:10:07.940 diverse group of Canadians.

00:10:11.900 And far from violence, people want to not be violated anymore.

00:10:17.640 Justin Trudeau says you're extreme. But he's the one who has violated our civil rights.

00:10:26.380 He says you're a fringe. Well, that's a pretty bloody big fringe. 0.64

00:10:31.560 Let me close by saying this. Someone asked me this morning, what's the point? What's going to happen?

00:10:42.800 Why did we all gather in Ottawa? Is he going to listen? Is he going to resign? Is the Governor

00:10:49.480 General going to ask him to step down? No, he'll hold on to power as hard as he can.

00:10:54.980 Let me tell you what I think the point is. The point is the convoy itself. To show that

00:11:03.280 you're not alone. To show that you're not the crazy one they are. To show that you're not

00:11:10.180 the crazy one they are. You already achieved your goal just by being here. And the fact that

00:11:23.280 millions of dollars came into the GoFundMe for the truckers, even if they would have cancelled

00:11:30.280 that, it was still a success. Because it was a measurement of how much people cared. You

00:11:38.480 have succeeded just by being here. He got the fight. Congratulations to the organizers. But

00:11:50.280 really, it was millions of Canadians along the way in the convoy and watching today from

00:11:57.280 home. Tell them what happened. Tell them what you saw. Because they will not hear the truth 0.76

00:12:04.280 from anyone else. Keep up the fight, everybody. Keep fighting for freedom. Let's go! Let's go,

00:12:14.280 baby! Let's go, baby! Let's go, baby! Let's go, baby! Let's go! Woo! 1.00

00:12:21.280 All right, are you going to tell a little story?

00:12:23.280 I was very grateful to be given that opportunity to talk to them. It was a thrill to be amongst our

00:12:28.980 people. The kind of people that the Trudeau government would call, well, what Hillary Clinton

00:12:33.860 called the deplorables. The Trudeau government and their repeaters in the media called these folks

00:12:38.240 racist and misogynist and transphobes and whatever else they said. But to me, that was just proof that

00:12:43.820 we were on the dry track. And we deployed Rebel News in a big way. You've heard me say that we had

00:12:48.360 reporters like Lincoln Jay and Alexa Lavoie worked 23 days straight. We didn't ask them to. They just

00:12:53.280 knew that that was their destiny. They were writing history in the making. Of course, these days by

00:12:59.320 writing, I mean they were videoing it. It was all on video. And that's why people knew we were telling

00:13:03.680 the truth and the media party was lying. I want to show you some video of Lincoln and Alexa literally

00:13:08.340 walking around that city and showing you that it had become like an authoritarian, totalitarian regime

00:13:15.100 with whimsical police at every street corner demanding to see your papers, demanding to see

00:13:21.000 what hotel you were at and deciding yes or no, whether you could pass or even if you'd be arrested.

00:13:26.060 It truly was like you were in East Germany and some secret police were demanding your papers.

00:13:31.780 This is an excerpt from a live stream of our reporters literally walking the streets and showing

00:13:37.220 the world what Canada had become under Justin Trudeau. Take a look.

00:13:40.940 Where are you going? Holt Hotel. You got your reservation?

00:13:44.960 Uh, Alexa, do you have one?

00:13:49.900 Uh, no, no, we are not part of the protest. I'm sorry.

00:13:57.740 Yeah, uh, no, uh, they were done by...

00:14:00.060 Can you let you pass through here if you don't have reservations?

00:14:02.420 Oh, I think I'm, according to this, I'm only 670 years away from them.

00:14:06.900 Yeah, that's a lot more blocks though than, than I, than what I have here.

00:14:10.640 It's booked under, it's booked under our colleague's name, so we would have to...

00:14:21.280 We could do that ultimately, but...

00:14:28.740 Dice, D-I-C-E?

00:14:32.040 D-Y-K-E. 0.99

00:14:33.240 Oh, D-Y-K-E? 1.00

00:14:34.740 Correct.

00:14:35.240 Oh, okay, sorry.

00:14:35.940 8751.

00:14:36.940 8751, thank you very much.

00:14:38.380 Okay.

00:14:39.380 Well, I, I need the reservation with the name of the person that's rented the room.

00:14:44.640 Okay.

00:14:45.180 And then proof that it's, they've rented it for you, right?

00:14:48.720 Is, is there any reason for this? You know we're not demonstrators, ma'am. We're, we're members of the media.

00:14:53.860 Okay.

00:14:54.080 I mean, if this was a CBC reporter...

00:14:55.080 If you wanted to come through for the media, perfect.

00:14:57.080 You could get that authorization through the Ottawa City Police.

00:15:00.080 Just give them a phone, they give you authorization to get down.

00:15:03.080 Oh, okay.

00:15:04.080 So we're kind of like Australia now, our colleague, Abby, you're me.

00:15:07.080 You always have to get a permit to perform journalism down there.

00:15:10.080 I can't.

00:15:11.080 No, I can't.

00:15:12.080 There.

00:15:13.080 You just want to get, you just want to get your hotel, that's why.

00:15:15.080 100%.

00:15:16.080 Folks, this is bad policing. Even if there are orders to keep out the deplorables, you know, the protesters, they know who we are. We've shown them our media credentials.

00:15:26.080 Uh, this is petty. This is vindictive. This does nothing to bolster, uh, the trust of police by the public.

00:15:35.080 Um, and here she comes again. So let's, let's see if we can...

00:15:41.080 And it's freezing outside.

00:15:42.080 Yeah.

00:15:43.080 Okay, guys. You're all good to go.

00:15:45.080 Thank you so much.

00:15:46.080 So, what Justice would suggest, get a slip from them, take your register there, and then you're quick and easy through them.

00:15:52.080 Okay.

00:15:53.080 Okay.

00:15:54.080 How long is this checkpoint system?

00:15:56.080 We've got no idea.

00:15:57.080 Okay.

00:15:58.080 All right, you have nice email.

00:15:59.080 Thank you.

00:16:00.080 Thank you.

00:16:01.080 We've cleared the checkpoints.

00:16:02.080 Thanks.

00:16:03.080 By the way, those checkpoints are still there.

00:16:08.080 Remember, it was the Ottawa police that locked down Ottawa, not the truckers. 0.90

00:16:12.080 Well, of course, there were other protests copying the Ottawa truckers in other places.

00:16:17.080 The Windsor Bridge between Windsor and Detroit, the Ambassador Bridge, it was called.

00:16:21.080 Very interesting.

00:16:22.080 And of course, the Coutts blockade between Alberta and Montana.

00:16:25.080 We had two reporters who, again, detected that something was afoot.

00:16:28.080 We went down there early, and we were embedded with the men in the saloon at that border town for nine days straight and more.

00:16:38.080 Here's an excerpt from a documentary movie we made about the subject.

00:16:43.080 So, the message was, it's time to move.

00:16:50.080 You're invited to come and move on your own.

00:16:53.080 And you're invited to stand with us as well.

00:16:55.080 And as that takes place.

00:16:57.080 It won't be taking place.

00:17:00.080 The other officers that are moving into position now are going to start taking enforcement action.

00:17:06.080 That's fine.

00:17:07.080 So, if you are of the mind that you will be placed under arrest and your truck seized, that sort of thing,

00:17:16.080 I guess the next best thing is to go out there and present yourself.

00:17:24.080 RCMP moved in this afternoon trying to break up the tense four-day border blockade at Coutts.

00:17:30.080 But it backfired, and at this hour, the standoff in southern Alberta continues.

00:17:35.080 The truckers were consulting with the lawyer.

00:17:38.080 I guess the checkpoints that were the RCMP standoff, they needed the extra guys to come here.

00:17:45.080 So, the checkpoints were completely open, and the entire convoy that were blocked by that checkpoint is now on the way here.

00:17:51.080 So, the RCMP will have to deal with many, many more truckers who are on their way to support this blockage at the border.

00:18:05.080 Excellent.

00:18:06.080 óstolos

00:18:08.080 They're moving. 1.00

00:18:09.080 What the fuck? 1.00

00:18:19.080 Tommy! 1.00

00:18:20.080 Here they go!

00:18:23.080 Woo! 1.00

00:18:24.080 What the fuck! 1.00

00:18:26.080 Music! 1.00

00:18:27.080 Oh

00:18:37.640 I

00:18:57.080 Wow

00:18:57.100 Wow

00:18:59.340 Wow

00:18:59.560 Wow

00:19:00.100 It's a little bit

00:19:19.980 Here we go.

00:19:24.520 My mom for America!

00:19:26.540 Woo! 0.99

00:19:49.980 Oh, it has to be seen by the true and more strong and free.

00:20:13.640 I don't know how they're going to get past this, to be honest with you.

00:20:33.400 This is something I don't know, I've certainly never seen before.

00:20:36.880 Freedom!

00:20:37.880 Freedom!

00:20:38.880 Freedom!

00:20:39.880 Freedom!

00:20:40.880 Freedom!

00:20:41.880 Freedom!

00:20:42.880 Freedom!

00:20:43.880 Freedom!

00:20:44.880 Freedom!

00:20:45.880 Freedom!

00:20:46.880 Freedom!

00:20:47.880 Freedom!

00:20:48.880 Freedom!

00:20:49.880 Freedom!

00:20:50.880 Freedom!

00:20:51.880 Freedom!

00:20:52.880 Freedom!

00:20:53.880 They are now moving and they are blocking the highway just behind these trucks here.

00:20:59.880 Basically like they're with their bodies or are you like are they, what are they doing?

00:21:03.880 Right now they have just moved into this area here so actually the RCMP and our peers have withdrawn a bit.

00:21:10.880 The RCMP officers were trying to force the first group of drivers to leave this afternoon when a second convoy cut off the rest of the highway.

00:21:17.880 Bypassing an RCMP checkpoint.

00:21:18.880 The RCMP checkpoint.

00:21:19.880 The group says it's refusing to leave until all COVID-19 health restrictions are left.

00:21:20.880 The RCMP officers were trying to force the first group of drivers to leave this afternoon.

00:21:24.880 The RCMP officers were trying to force the first group of drivers to leave this afternoon when a second convoy cut off the rest of the highway bypassing an RCMP checkpoint.

00:21:42.880 The group says it's refusing to leave until all COVID-19 health restrictions are lifted.

00:21:47.880 As you know, the worst day in our eight year existence happened during the trucker convoy.

00:21:52.880 Our dear reporter from Quebec, Alexa Lavois was peacefully filming a peaceful protest.

00:21:58.880 So she wasn't a protester herself.

00:22:00.880 She was filming it.

00:22:01.880 And the protest itself was peaceful.

00:22:03.880 But the police had decided to carry out Justin Trudeau's brutal will.

00:22:07.880 And a police officer casually aimed a riot gun at Alexa and shot her at point blank range.

00:22:15.880 It was atrocious.

00:22:16.880 We're suing the government.

00:22:18.880 You can find out more about that lawsuit at StandWithAlexa.com.

00:22:22.880 I'm showing you this video, even though it disturbs me every time I do, because we have to be disturbed.

00:22:26.880 Like I say, a forest fire torched our whole country.

00:22:29.880 And even though it feels free again and green shoots are emerging, we cannot forget what was done to us by Trudeau.

00:22:35.880 Here's that awful moment where Alexa was shot.

00:22:38.880 Guys, turn around.

00:22:39.880 Hey, everyone on the front line, turn your back to the breakout.

00:22:48.880 Walk on, turn your back.

00:22:50.880 They look like they're going to move.

00:22:52.880 You're not going to deny me the right to look at them in.

00:22:55.880 Watch out.

00:22:56.880 Watch out.

00:22:57.880 Watch out.

00:22:58.880 Watch out.

00:22:59.880 Watch out.

00:23:00.880 What are you doing?

00:23:01.880 What are you doing?

00:23:02.880 What are you doing?

00:23:03.880 What are you doing?

00:23:04.880 Hold him.

00:23:05.880 Stop him.

00:23:06.880 Stop him.

00:23:07.880 Stop it.

00:23:08.880 Stop it.

00:23:09.880 Stop it.

00:23:10.880 Stop it.

00:23:11.880 Stop it.

00:23:12.880 Stop it.

00:23:13.880 Stop it.

00:23:14.880 Watch this. 1.00

00:23:15.880 You're stupid. 1.00

00:23:16.880 You just tried to throw this. 1.00

00:23:17.880 You just tried to throw this.

00:23:18.880 You just tried to throw this.

00:23:19.880 Oh.

00:23:20.880 Oh.

00:23:21.880 Oh.

00:23:22.880 Oh no.

00:23:23.880 Oh.

00:23:24.880 Oh.

00:23:25.880 Oh.

00:23:26.880 Oh.

00:23:27.880 There you go.

00:23:28.880 You all right?

00:23:29.880 Got trapped.

00:23:31.880 Take care.

00:23:32.880 Bring her out. 1.00

00:23:33.880 Bring her out. 1.00

00:23:34.880 Come on.

00:23:35.880 Oh my God.

00:23:36.880 Oh.

00:23:37.880 That's so cool.

00:23:39.880 No.

00:23:49.880 Oh, yeah.

00:23:51.880 Look for the left side.

00:23:52.880 No, you're not like her.

00:23:54.880 Tiya, what's going on?

00:23:55.880 Ah, yeah.

00:23:57.880 Pew, pew, pew.

00:23:58.880 Bring her to the left here, it's safe, come on now, get her out of the crowd. 1.00

00:24:03.880 Get her down further, get her down, get her out of the crowd. 1.00

00:24:08.880 What is it just burning?

00:24:13.880 What is it?

00:24:14.880 What is it?

00:24:15.880 Just burning?

00:24:16.880 Is it burning?

00:24:17.880 Oh my god.

00:24:18.880 What is it?

00:24:19.880 It burns?

00:24:20.880 It burns.

00:24:21.880 Okay, where?

00:24:22.880 Where?

00:24:23.880 Where?

00:24:24.880 By the way, if you ever hear a mainstream media journalist ever complain about mean tweets

00:24:32.880 or someone swearing at them, and I don't advocate swearing at journalists, but this is the level

00:24:37.880 of complaint by the media party.

00:24:39.880 If they talk about mean tweets but do not mention how Alexa was shot by police or David Menzies

00:24:45.880 was beat up by Trudeau's personal bodyguards and on and on and on.

00:24:48.880 If they talk about their mean tweets without referencing our Rebel News journalists who 0.99

00:24:52.880 were actually attacked, you know they're wicked liars.

00:24:55.880 Well, the convoy wasn't the only story we covered in 2022.

00:25:00.880 Once the flight ban on unvaxxed people was lifted, Rebel News journalists started to fly

00:25:05.880 around the world because, of course, other countries had already dropped their vaccine

00:25:09.880 restrictions.

00:25:10.880 We sent three reporters, Alexa Lavois, Tamara Ugolini, and of course, Drea Humphrey to Berlin

00:25:18.880 to cover the World Health Summit.

00:25:20.880 That was the first in-person meeting of all the public health tyrants, and we were there.

00:25:25.880 Here's an excerpt from one of those videos.

00:25:27.880 I think we were the only journalists from Canada in the place.

00:25:29.880 Take a look.

00:25:30.880 Mr. Tedros, how are you?

00:25:31.880 How are you, Mr. Tedros?

00:25:32.880 How are you, Mr. Tedros?

00:25:36.880 Tamara Ugolini here with Rebel News, and I am in Germany at the swanky Berlin Hotel in

00:25:42.880 Central District where the World Health Summit 2022 is taking place in partnership with the

00:25:48.880 World Health Organization.

00:25:50.880 I've just asked the Director General of the WHO, that's the controversially appointed bureaucrat,

00:25:57.880 Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, a question regarding the global lockdown policies his organization

00:26:03.880 implemented at his direction.

00:26:05.880 The risk of returning to lockdown remains very real if countries do not manage the transition.

00:26:14.880 The only way I was able to bring you this report was by reserving one night at this posh hotel

00:26:20.880 because our media accreditation was rejected by the World Health Summit controllers.

00:26:26.880 And none of this trip, including this fancy one-night stay, would be possible without your

00:26:32.880 generous donations to rebelwho.com.

00:26:36.880 If you think that it is crucial to hold these bureaucrats to account for their failed and devastating

00:26:42.880 policies, then head on over to that website and help offset our costs, again at rebelwho.com.

00:26:50.880 Now, after arriving at the hotel, I was able to get a feel for the crowd after what looked like

00:26:54.880 some sort of cozy setting of high tea and refreshments.

00:26:59.880 I turned around and there was Tedros.

00:27:02.880 Have a look at how that went.

00:27:03.880 Mr. Tedros, how are you?

00:27:05.880 How are you, Mr. Tedros?

00:27:07.880 If you could do lockdowns again, would you do them?

00:27:10.880 If you could do lockdowns again, would you support them?

00:27:14.880 I'm sorry, please.

00:27:15.880 Mr. Tedros, if you could do lockdowns again, would you support them?

00:27:20.880 That's what you got for unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats heading in there to the WHO conference,

00:27:27.880 the World Health Summit.

00:27:29.880 Tedros was nervously laughing behind his medical mask.

00:27:32.880 As you can see, his handler quickly got in the way once she realized that I was skeptical

00:27:37.880 of his failed lockdown mandates.

00:27:40.880 He obviously had no idea how to respond.

00:27:43.880 What do you think at home?

00:27:45.880 Should these bureaucrats be held responsible for their failed policies that have resulted

00:27:50.880 grotesque harm of people all across the globe, with looming economic devastation, loss of

00:27:56.880 liberty, and loss of freedom?

00:27:58.880 And if no one is here to ask the hard questions, then how will the public ever know?

00:28:04.880 Follow our reports as we try to show you how the top 1% whines and dines while you're told

00:28:11.880 to shutter your business, stay home endlessly, all for the alleged greater good.

00:28:18.880 For Rebel News, I'm Tamara Ugolini.

00:28:21.880 Great reporting there.

00:28:22.880 You can see them all at whoreports.com.

00:28:25.880 That stands for World Health Organization Reports.

00:28:27.880 You know, it's not just the lockdown.

00:28:30.880 It's not just a COVID lockdown.

00:28:33.880 There's other strange things afoot, like climate lockdowns and a farming lockdown of sorts.

00:28:40.880 It really kicked off in the Netherlands, where the government suddenly decided they were

00:28:45.880 going to eliminate up to a third of the country's farms because they were using too much nitrogen. 0.63

00:28:50.880 I guess we had a war on carbon.

00:28:52.880 Now there's a war on nitrogen.

00:28:53.880 We sent rebel reporters over there to document what we called the farmer rebellion, which I'm

00:28:58.880 afraid will likely come to Canada, too, as Trudeau copies their anti-farmer agenda.

00:29:03.880 So weird to me.

00:29:05.880 You're against food.

00:29:06.880 You're against energy.

00:29:07.880 Sounds like you're against people.

00:29:09.880 Here's an excerpt from our trip to the farmer rebellion.

00:29:12.880 To increase prosperity and improve public health, but also to build back better.

00:29:22.880 If the demands from the farmers are not met, what do you think happens next?

00:29:27.880 I think the farmers will explode.

00:29:30.880 I'm afraid it will be a civil war.

00:29:33.880 Civil war is going to start.

00:29:36.880 Up to a civil war?

00:29:37.880 I don't know.

00:29:38.880 I don't know.

00:29:45.880 I think there's going to be farmers today or tomorrow.

00:29:49.880 They go to their homes and they say, if you don't come there, we come to you.

00:29:52.880 Well, I know the farmers a bit and if they draw a line in the sand, they draw a line in the sand.

00:30:05.880 But I think there's going to be a small civil war.

00:30:08.880 I can imagine it's going to be a lot of mayhem.

00:30:12.880 We're going to be a small dragon.

00:30:14.880 A quick announcement from myself.

00:30:16.880 Head on over to farmerdocumentary.com where you can purchase tickets to watch our Rebel News' new premiere titled The Boer Dutch Farmer Rebellion, hosted by none other than Sheila Gunn-Reed and a Q&A session with myself, Linken Jay, who is with me in the Netherlands to cover the Farmer Rebellion.

00:30:37.880 and Kian Simone, who is the writer and producer of this new premiere.

00:30:43.260 So, pharma-documentary.com.

00:30:45.360 Well, it wasn't all heavy material.

00:30:48.860 There was strange and bizarre and humorous material, too. 0.91

00:30:51.800 Well, it's funny from our point of view, but imagine being a student in a classroom with a teacher who wears enormous prosthetic breasts. 1.00

00:31:00.500 It's a man dressed up as a caricature of a woman.

00:31:05.220 Imagine being a young boy in that class.

00:31:07.180 Imagine being a young girl in that class.

00:31:09.820 What on earth?

00:31:10.940 Well, our David Menzies has been reporting on this story at great length, and he even, for shock effect,

00:31:17.540 dressed up like that teacher and went to the school board meeting just to show them how offensive it was.

00:31:22.220 They escorted him out and banned him from the building.

00:31:24.660 That's what they did to David dressed up that way, but they still allow that bizarre teacher to teach.

00:31:29.720 Here's one of David's reports.

00:31:30.960 I'd like to present a petition called Protect the Students.

00:31:36.380 We've had over 16,000 signatures.

00:31:40.080 It reads, the Halted District School Board and the Director of Education.

00:31:45.320 A normal person in the right mind would dress up like that and go teach kids.

00:31:49.280 Come on.

00:31:49.840 Are you guys okay in your head? 0.75

00:31:52.000 Hopeville's becoming the mockery of the world. 0.70

00:31:54.220 What's wrong with you guys?

00:31:55.480 Come on.

00:31:56.220 Stop this.

00:31:56.920 Get this teacher out of here. 1.00

00:31:58.420 You're seven-year-olds.

00:31:59.660 You're four-year-olds.

00:32:00.920 You're going to be okay with that?

00:32:02.740 You're going to be comfortable when your granddaughters are sitting at a school and that's their teacher?

00:32:06.700 David Menzies for Rebel News here in Toronto.

00:32:09.800 And folks, in just a few hours, the next Halted District School Board trustee meeting is going to take place.

00:32:17.340 And I want to be there.

00:32:19.000 I want to ask questions about that ongoing circus that's happening at Oakville Trafalgar High School, namely Busty Lemieux.

00:32:27.640 His real name is Kerry Lemieux.

00:32:29.240 He now goes by the name Kayla Lemieux.

00:32:31.260 He breaks every shop rule in question and questions abound. 0.87

00:32:36.720 Is this legitimately a person transitioning or is this someone pulling a cosmic prank or is this someone suffering from mental illness?

00:32:47.240 And if it's the latter, he needs treatment as soon as possible.

00:32:50.780 Anyways, I can tell you that more than 16,000 of you have signed our petition, protect the students.

00:32:59.620 Protect the students.

00:33:01.980 And they need protection because you can see his completely inappropriate attire that he wears to shop class.

00:33:10.660 By the way, something, if it was a female student that was wearing this, she would be disciplined or suspended. 0.98

00:33:17.520 But believe it or not, folks, there is no dress code for the staff.

00:33:21.280 In any event, I desperately want to go to the school board meeting, but just one hitch.

00:33:26.140 Look what happened last month when I showed up.

00:33:28.920 For five days, the Lemieux story.

00:33:32.860 No, no, you're out of order.

00:33:34.760 The Lemieux story was in the news cycle for five days.

00:33:40.060 And it was misreported that Mr.

00:33:42.540 Hanna was the same person.

00:33:44.740 And you never corrected the record.

00:33:46.380 You, Mr.

00:33:47.180 Innes, he, him.

00:33:48.220 You, Dr.

00:33:49.280 Shuttleworth.

00:33:50.140 Heather Francie, a communications director who doesn't communicate. 0.99

00:33:54.240 Not until Monday night, 10, 18 p.m.

00:33:57.600 To be precise, did you correct that?

00:34:00.020 Why did you throw Mr.

00:34:02.280 Hanna under the bus?

00:34:03.800 Yeah.

00:34:04.080 So you see, once again, I got the bums rush.

00:34:06.400 I'm not even sure if they're going to let me in the building or whether their security or even police.

00:34:12.740 Accomplices are going to keep them protected from impolite questions such as why did they allow Stephen Hanna, an innocent teacher, to be misidentified for several days before they corrected the record.

00:34:26.600 So what to do, what to do, you know what?

00:34:32.080 The saying goes, if you can't beat him, join him.

00:34:34.900 And I'm a big Wonder Woman fan from the 70s.

00:34:37.940 So let's do the Linda Carter thing and see if the menzoid can transition himself. 1.00

00:34:44.320 Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

00:34:49.760 I'd like to present a petition called Protect the Students.

00:35:11.980 We've had over 16,000 signatures.

00:35:15.000 It reads, the Halton District School Board and the Director of Education, Curtis Innes, should be fired for allowing a female identifying job teacher to wear enormous fake breasts that are barely contained by see-through blouses while teaching.

00:35:33.780 Who is going to take this petition?

00:35:37.080 Who is going to take this petition?

00:35:39.880 Well, we ended the year with a very dramatic mission to Moscow, Russia.

00:35:45.480 We took great care to make sure our reporter was not arrested.

00:35:49.400 We got into the country under the radar.

00:35:51.220 We did not get a journalism visa.

00:35:53.600 And we got out of the country.

00:35:55.020 We slipped out of the country before we published our first video just so that there would be no police repercussions to us while we were under Russian rule.

00:36:04.860 I think our reports were very fair and they were eye-opening to me, for example, the fact that Starbucks and McDonald's are still operating with the same buildings, the same staff.

00:36:14.860 They've just tweaked their name a little bit.

00:36:16.920 It was interesting to see Russians on the street being willing to criticize the war and Putin on camera.

00:36:22.660 I thought they would be too afraid to say that for fear of repercussions.

00:36:25.440 Some of them were afraid for sure.

00:36:27.180 And there was one close call we had with police.

00:36:29.900 I thought this was just a simple story.

00:36:32.780 Our reporter, Jeremy Lafredo, went to Moscow when he went to a grocery store and a gas station just to see if sanctions were having a bite.

00:36:40.780 Take a look at what Jeremy saw.

00:36:42.520 I'm Jeremy Lafredo for Rebel News in Moscow, Russia.

00:36:45.040 We've been told that the Western sanctions against Russia are bringing the economy to its knees.

00:36:49.520 Well, one marker of that is the price of food.

00:36:51.940 Essential goods like cheese, milk, bread and meat are all markers of how well the economy is doing.

00:36:57.500 Well, I'm going to go to a grocery store in Moscow and see if the shelves are bare and see if things are expensive or not.

00:37:10.040 ...leveled against Russia by the U.S. and its allies are the harshest ever handed down.

00:37:15.820 The Russians are dealing with some hefty international sanctions levied against the country.

00:37:20.140 And their effects are being widely felt in Russia.

00:37:22.920 After touching down in Moscow, the first thing I decided to do was get some food.

00:37:27.200 But I wondered if that would be easy.

00:37:29.320 The New York Times reported that the Western sanctions against Russia are leading to essential goods scarcity.

00:37:34.580 And the Washington Post went as far as saying that Russia is facing, quote, Soviet-era shortages.

00:37:39.480 So I went to a grocery store here in Russia to get the whole story and some food.

00:37:43.220 And to experience firsthand the reported scarcity and Soviet-style shortages.

00:37:46.820 The grocery store I went to in Moscow was located inside of a shopping center.

00:37:51.100 And to my surprise, the shopping center was filled with both regular consumer and luxury stores, all stocked.

00:37:55.840 But this doesn't mean that the grocery store has food.

00:37:58.040 These are separate types of goods from different places and different sanctions affect different things.

00:38:02.200 Upon walking in, I was surprised.

00:38:04.100 It seemed like not only a normal grocery store, but it was absolutely full of food.

00:38:08.140 Barilla pasta, which you can get at any grocery store in the States, was stacked so tall that I would need a ladder to reach the linguine.

00:38:14.280 But I remained skeptical because surely the New York Times and the Washington Post wouldn't be lying.

00:38:19.640 And of course, the seemingly full store could be a facade.

00:38:22.780 There could only be one item in front of the shelf and nothing behind it.

00:38:25.780 A classic move.

00:38:27.000 Another question was, how expensive is everything?

00:38:29.720 Russian stores could have food, but with inflation and shortages, items could be so expensive that no one can afford it.

00:38:35.300 First, I went to the milk aisle.

00:38:36.800 Kefir, 1%, 2%, 3%, and even 4% milk.

00:38:41.260 Yogurts and fake dairy alternatives.

00:38:43.220 They had a lot of options.

00:38:44.780 I got a liter of regular milk.

00:38:46.540 It was 89 rubles, or $1.41.

00:38:49.380 Then I went for some bread.

00:38:50.620 Nothing fancy, just a loaf of whole wheat.

00:38:52.780 It was 60 rubles, or 95 cents.

00:38:55.560 They also had an entire bakery making fresh baked goods.

00:38:58.840 Then I made my way to the meat section.

00:39:00.580 They had beef, chicken, turkey, pork, and even rabbit.

00:39:03.920 I settled for a pound of ground beef, which was 175 rubles, or $2.78.

00:39:09.260 I then decided to get some eggs.

00:39:12.180 Strangely enough, the eggs were not kept refrigerated, but they did have dozens of choices.

00:39:16.900 I got 10 eggs for 99 rubles, or $1.47.

00:39:20.720 Then I decided to get some vegetables for my meat.

00:39:22.980 A container of mushrooms for 79 rubles, or $1.25.

00:39:26.720 And then I went to pay for everything.

00:39:28.380 In rubles, of course.

00:39:29.640 The total for milk, eggs, beef, bread, and mushrooms was 499 rubles, or $7.92.

00:39:37.120 Surprisingly, it seems the mainstream media is not being entirely truthful in regards

00:39:40.900 to the effects sanctions are having on the prices of essential goods in Russia.

00:39:44.000 Despite my experience, a few people I spoke to explained that the sanctions have had an

00:39:48.480 effect on them, in one way or another.

00:39:50.680 This lady, from a rural market outside of Moscow, is selling produce.

00:39:54.360 She explained that while most prices have stayed the same, the prices of some foods have

00:39:57.900 actually skyrocketed.

00:39:59.100 And this man, who sells cranberries at the market, spoke to me about the prices of berries.
