00:01:16.340 version of my show. What's the news from flooded Fort McMurray and what the heck is going on with

00:01:36.860 Michael Moore's new documentary? I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed and you're watching The Gunn Show.

00:01:46.340 Fort McMurray, Alberta is flooding after surviving Notley, a fire, Trudeau, cancelled pipelines,

00:02:05.520 a carbon tax and an oil price collapse. Fort Mac is underwater. In fact the rebuilt home of former

00:02:13.220 Wild Rose leader Brian Jean has been claimed by the rising water. Jean first lost his home in the

00:02:18.820 fire that swept into town in the spring of 2016 and so did my guest tonight. My friend Robbie Picard

00:02:26.100 lost his home in that fire too and then watched the environmentalist movement use the wildfire to

00:02:32.840 attack his town for the oil industry that drives it, claiming the fire was the will of an angry earth

00:02:39.720 smiting the good people of Fort McMurray. The ghouls will be out again in force that's for sure and

00:02:45.520 they're mad anyway. They're mad that one of their own Michael Moore has spoken out against green energy

00:02:52.080 in his new documentary Planet of the Humans. So joining me tonight to talk about that movie and what

00:02:59.740 is happening on the ground in his community is my friend Robbie Picard from Oil & Gas Strong in an

00:03:06.160 interview we recorded yesterday afternoon. So joining me now from Fort McMurray is my friend Robbie Picard from

00:03:27.320 Oil & Gas Strong. Robbie let's talk about what's happening in Fort McMurray right now. You have

00:03:33.480 survived the NDP but just barely. The Liberals but just barely. Fire but just barely. Canceled pipelines

00:03:42.820 but just barely and now we've got a flood. You just before this interview we're recording this

00:03:49.020 Tuesday afternoon you were up in the air in a plane. You rented a plane so that you could assess

00:03:55.380 the damage in Fort McMurray. Tell us what's going on. Well I was actually up two days in the row. I went up in a

00:04:00.320 helicopter yesterday and then I went up in a plane today and it's far worse. It's far worse today than it was

00:04:09.900 yesterday. I mean I would say I'm not a flood expert. I'm not pretending to be a flood expert but I'd say at least

00:04:14.540 50% of downtown has now been compromised and a lot of like tons of my friends houses. I mean they're going to be

00:04:22.600 complete right off. And it's only going to get worse. It's not going to because it's if you look in the

00:04:28.100 in the video that I took the ice is just jamming. So when that ice gives way the water's got to go

00:04:33.280 somewhere. So we'll have to see how that plays out. I'm not entirely sure just yet but it's it's not

00:04:38.480 looking too good at this moment in time. Now I heard earlier today that the water is approaching

00:04:43.560 the hospital. What's going on there? Because that hospital wasn't breached by fire but the water is

00:04:50.260 getting really really close. So the hospital is slightly higher and they seem to be pretty

00:04:57.440 comfortable but I don't know. I mean do they does anyone really know how this is going to play out?

00:05:02.200 At this moment in time they're saying that the hospital is fine but I'm not entirely sure.

00:05:07.620 Now this has got to be pretty traumatic for Fort McMurray because a lot of these homes that are now

00:05:12.620 potentially going to be underwater these are in some cases reconstructions of homes that were

00:05:19.160 burned. So we're talking to people we're talking about a community that has lost entire neighborhoods

00:05:26.660 twice in you know five or ten years. Particularly in waterways. Yeah like waterways there's a few

00:05:35.000 houses that are a bit higher up that seem okay for now. Drapers really they were hit by the fire hard

00:05:40.420 and waterways was hit extremely hard by the fire. Most of those new homes are underwater now. So yeah it's

00:05:44.860 going to be a whole lot of trauma and it's yeah it's it this is this is hitting and sometimes I'm a

00:05:51.340 bit emotional sometimes I feel fine like in this moment in time my my house is safe I'm in thick

00:05:55.600 when I'm on high up on a hill. So it's not like the last time where I was directly affected like when

00:06:00.120 my house burnt down in the fire. But I mean yeah you question how much more can one community take

00:06:05.080 and we have been hit and hit between low oil prices, crazy environmentalists,

00:06:09.720 lack of market access, everything else. And then now this at a time when we're dealing with

00:06:16.180 trying to do physical distancing, trying dealing with COVID-19 and trying to adapt to that maintain

00:06:22.700 your paying your bills and the craziness. I mean yeah no it's it's a lot and but I don't know like

00:06:29.520 I was a little down and then I'm up there. I think if there's one community that can get through this

00:06:33.880 that's the key. But it's also important that at some point we get to a place that

00:06:38.700 you know where we can thrive again and you know it doesn't seem like we're going to be thriving for

00:06:43.900 a little while. Now are parts of the obviously parts of the community are being evacuated. Where

00:06:52.300 are those people going to? Every hotel in Fort McMurray is full and I think people are going to Edmonton

00:06:57.820 as well. They're staying with friends. Downtown I think it's they're saying 20,000 people have been

00:07:04.440 evacuated. So you know it's not quite as much as the wildfire but it's it's a chunk. Wow well

00:07:11.780 So yeah no it's a lot. It's definitely a lot. I'm trying to be optimistic but it's it's it's hard.

00:07:21.100 Yeah Robbie please if there is something that we can do for Fort McMurray you're there.

00:07:27.640 We're not. Do let me know if there's you know a charity that needs our help. I'd love to be able

00:07:35.580 to amplify that. Fort McMurray has carried the load for a lot of this province for a lot of this

00:07:43.060 country and you know we need to help when we can. I can't the amount of trauma that your community has

00:07:51.620 been through and you in particular you lost your house in the fire. I mean it it's it's more

00:07:57.620 than one community should have to handle but like you point out if there's a community that can handle

00:08:03.820 it it's Fort McMurray. I appreciate that. Yeah and then one I mean on a side note the one thing that I

00:08:12.120 am thrilled about is I like Michael Moore's new documentary Planet of Humans. You don't have to

00:08:19.800 agree with everything in it but it was really nice to see him take some serious shots those hypocritical 0.99

00:08:25.540 so-called environmentalists spewing their bullshit and for the first time in a long time prior to this 0.99

00:08:32.820 flood I kind of got my fight back because periodically you question I mean am I on the right side no I feel 0.98

00:08:38.560 like I am I know the facts and everything he said I knew it was so nice to see someone from the far

00:08:43.960 left articulate that so brilliantly and uh calling people like suburban Berman a hypocrite and Mike 0.57

00:08:50.860 Kadima hypocrites it's a lot easier it rolls off the tongue with a little bit more authority 0.93

00:08:54.420 and that crazy young woman Greta Thunberg I mean I really hope she you know while she's isolated in 0.99

00:09:00.560 her multi-million dollar house with her parents and their fancy sofas and all of that privilege and her 0.71

00:09:06.100 apparently Swiss where is she from Switzerland no she's Norway right I don't even know where she's 1.00

00:09:11.060 Sweden Sweden sorry I'm mixing her up her Swedish royalty bodyguards that keep her safe you know I 1.00

00:09:17.340 hope she has time to check out Michael Moore's um uh movie basically pointing out that they're all full

00:09:23.980 of it and there is no such thing as green energy so I I do hope that that uh gets the message out there

00:09:30.380 on a on a side note but yeah um and definitely uh definitely I mean I I'm going to reassess

00:09:37.680 everything as usual but I'm going to bunker down and we're going to make Fort McMurray work and this

00:09:41.420 is my home it's been my home for a while and and yeah we'll get through this but uh if I definitely

00:09:48.500 isolation materials watching that documentary yeah let's talk about that for a little bit because um

00:09:54.760 you and I were discussing that off camera when I called you and said Robbie please come on my show

00:09:58.580 today and let's check in and let's talk about what what's happening in Fort McMurray and you were

00:10:03.120 very excited about Michael Moore's new documentary um because it does talk about the hypocrisy of green 0.96

00:10:09.040 energy that it requires fossil fuel backups and that it is exceedingly toxic and it is it's toxic

00:10:18.620 in ways that the left likes to say they care about like the left likes to say that they care about

00:10:24.900 children and poor people but green energy is exceedingly toxic for children and poor people

00:10:30.740 who have to live in its aftermath um how did let's talk about how the left is responding to one of their

00:10:39.360 own coming out and pointing out their own hypocrisy because I saw Elizabeth May and her tweets about this 0.58

00:10:47.080 she said the video is full of lies um it it seems as though the left is slightly losing their mind

00:10:53.960 because one of their own is trying to show them the truth well it's nice to see Elizabeth May 0.66

00:11:00.300 scared of her fellow American Michael Moore and calling them out on their nonsense uh I can out of 0.99

00:11:08.100 all the politicians in Canada the biggest one who's full of bullshit is Elizabeth May she's all happy 1.00

00:11:13.540 because she can hop on a private plane with Andrew Sheeran bragging about it like a little school 1.00

00:11:17.660 girl oh my god I got a private plane um she's really not a party leader I mean yes they have three 0.99

00:11:22.880 seats now the amount of credibility she gets for her one seat is pathetic but her attack on her new 0.98

00:11:30.040 her new country Canada has been relentless attack on the indigenous people in Fort McMurray she attacks 0.88

00:11:38.600 the pipelines and support and I would argue I mean I might not agree with everything Michael Moore has

00:11:43.800 done but if I was to say who possesses more intelligence I would say Michael Moore and I don't think

00:11:48.340 Elizabeth May has a clue um and it's nice to see her squirm a little bit because you know what 1.00

00:11:53.520 they hit a nerve they're full of it solar power is not green windmills are not green none of it's green

00:12:00.380 and it has consequences now and here's the thing if you set up a windmills and then or um air wind

00:12:08.200 turbines and then you have to have a power plant as a backup and the backup has to run 70 percent of the

00:12:13.440 time it's not working and you're better off to just stick with what you know and improve on it

00:12:18.800 burn cleaner coal burn natural gas use oil size and constantly improve try to get the emissions down

00:12:25.480 try to deal with plastic pollution deal with it but this notion that we need to destroy our lives

00:12:31.420 for this fairy tale of non-existent green energy blows my mind and then some of the other stuff like

00:12:37.500 okay so now we're going to burn alligators we're going to go after alligators and we're going to

00:12:43.060 fuel cars with that and then seaweed okay no they don't care well seaweed sounds renewable so rip all

00:12:49.120 the seaweed out destroy all of the oceans for green energy they're full of it they don't have a clue

00:12:54.240 what they're doing they never have and they've attacked our community and our industry over and

00:12:59.880 over again it's it's just it's so i'm we've known this for a while and it's sad that it took michael

00:13:05.600 more to bring it up even a little bit of our fight but it felt it felt good and you know michael

00:13:10.660 more like i mean i know he's completely on the left but i would argue he helped get donald trump

00:13:14.120 elected michael more at least has enough sense to have some sort of authenticity and honesty in his

00:13:20.420 documentaries and and i i i really hope that i mean it's going to be fun because like the amount of

00:13:27.140 stuff that that uncovered and candidly the people that support like you know all these so-called green

00:13:32.720 movements are stupid i mean when you hear them being interviewed and they're at a protest and they're 0.92

00:13:37.080 like okay why are you here and well well we're here for the pipeline what's in this pipeline well 1.00

00:13:40.980 oil sands or tar sands or whatever but it's natural gas and they're too stupid to even know why they're 1.00

00:13:46.040 there then they need to be called stupid they're stupid that's that simple they don't understand 1.00

00:13:50.240 what they're protesting if they have to go to their superior who paid them to be there uh why are we 1.00

00:13:54.780 here protesting they're not authentically there because they don't know the facts they don't know

00:13:59.120 nothing and i would argue the manipulation from burman and elizabeth may is destroying our country

00:14:04.640 and somehow they've infiltrated into the liberals too and hopefully we get our balls back and we

00:14:10.540 start fighting back harder and saying no you're not going to destroy our entire economy and we are

00:14:16.720 already doing the right things and we're going to continue to do the right things we're going to 0.99

00:14:19.800 continue to be successful but enough and enough this like apologizing we don't need some stupid 0.99

00:14:25.700 stuck up child coming here from a foreign country with her privilege and we also know she's a little 0.99

00:14:31.820 girl you can't question even myself i was scared to take her on she has enough power and enough reach 0.97

00:14:37.260 to try to take us out and if we don't start defending ourselves or have some sense of self

00:14:41.940 preservation we are done and i i'm not going to sit back and be quiet anymore or politically correct 0.99

00:14:47.860 elizabeth may is an idiot she does not know what she's doing and she should not be destroying our 1.00

00:14:52.880 energy industry enough michael moore like him or hate him hit a lot of nail or hit the nail on the 1.00

00:14:59.320 head on a lot of facts and one thing i will say as consumption in the world we need to maybe think

00:15:05.860 about how we look at that that's what i got from the documentary we don't need to consume consume

00:15:09.760 consume but when it comes to our energy in canada we're ahead of all of them we're not talking about

00:15:15.140 consuming things we're not have this notion so that we're going to like use animal fat and we're

00:15:19.420 going to butcher more animals just to fuel our cars if we're going to have to cause that it's bad

00:15:24.200 enough we got to eat meat and go with factories and all that now we're going to destroy them to

00:15:28.220 fuel cars i mean they don't have a clue what they're doing and the documentary exposed it

00:15:34.000 well i for one would love the exhaust of my jeep to smell like french fries but that's just me um

00:15:41.140 i think it is there's something to be said for the fact that this had to come from michael moore

00:15:46.480 there are conservative filmmakers out there but i think michael moore like you say he's on the left

00:15:54.560 conservatives are so desperate for someone to tell them the truth about green energy the truth that

00:16:03.040 we already know that we've been telling everybody for years it's not green except if you want to talk

00:16:08.120 about the color of the green tailings ponds it's we're happily ready to listen to the likes of

00:16:16.400 michael moore who is anti-capitalist as they come we're happy to get our information from him because

00:16:22.980 at least someone is telling the story and so i guess my question is where the heck are the

00:16:29.580 conservative filmmakers to make this exact movie why did it have to come from michael moore

00:16:35.080 one time you had a meme or something and or no it was a video it was up there and i and i remember

00:16:43.840 when donald trump won the election i remember the little fits that they had in the street like right

00:16:49.180 and then there was a video of a girl who she lost the election the conservatives lost and they asked her

00:16:55.280 question she says well i gotta get back to work yeah i think conservatives tend to just deal with facts a

00:17:03.280 little bit more and are less dramatic and you know but but now like unless it affects their bottom line

00:17:08.520 but like even even here like we tend to just want to problem solve okay we got a flood instead of being

00:17:14.380 angry about it okay how are we gonna get through it right like it's less about blame but um i think

00:17:20.780 on both sides like i know like okay if if rachel notley does something good on my page i'll post it and

00:17:27.300 then all of a sudden oh my god i get attacked and we don't have the like we don't have enough sense

00:17:31.400 to say okay no i don't like rachel notley i don't agree with everything but this point i agree with

00:17:35.020 we had we need to get back to reality because i think if we get back to reality and stopping so

00:17:40.420 polarized on on all fronts we might actually make some progress and live better lives um

00:17:45.780 i mean even a friend of mine like i complimented donald trump on one thing and she literally walked 1.00

00:17:51.520 out of the room wouldn't talk to me and i just said well he did good he did this good thing like

00:17:56.300 my friend's an investor and he said this was a good move and no no no heaven forbid right i mean people

00:18:00.820 hate donald trump so much that they would rather just pretend he doesn't exist or go

00:18:04.360 like let the entire world fall apart but um yes we we need to we need to try and um we need to put

00:18:14.420 some interesting content out some interesting documentaries but we also got to remember that

00:18:18.460 the audience is broad and it can't just be for one way or the other and i think i mean i mean

00:18:25.540 if michael moore did an anti-oil sands documentary wouldn't have blinked an eye

00:18:30.180 yeah that would have been oh yeah whatever it would have just kind of whatever rolled off our

00:18:33.180 backs right but he did something that shocked us too it's like whoa so we need to do the same thing

00:18:39.200 we need to find commonality with all sides and then and less division and then hit back but like

00:18:46.060 the thing is that gretchenberg support berman naomi klein mike adima and that lovely guy from

00:18:54.000 350.org in the united states i mean he's such an incredible individual i was so impressed

00:18:58.640 watching him squirm with simple questions i mean he led everything um i uh those guys we need to

00:19:06.740 seriously call out and like no you're not going to shut down our entire planet our entire industry

00:19:13.780 you're not gonna you're not gonna ruin the lives of our children and our grandchildren and no you don't

00:19:20.100 have the solution because your so-called green energy is worse worse tailings ponds more mining

00:19:26.960 more dependence on fossil fuel how about why don't we find a real solution and make the world better

00:19:33.260 gradually and stop the the houses well fort mcbury is flooding but greta the house is not on fire and

00:19:40.480 take it here's the message to greta if i mean i'm not sure she she her royalty will watch this but

00:19:46.320 um what i would say is coming from a person whose house actually was on fire the worst thing to do 1.00

00:19:52.000 is panic ever you never panic panicking is stupid if you panic during a flood you die if you panic 0.99

00:19:58.700 during a fire you die i want you to act like your house is on fire i want you to panic like i mean my 1.00

00:20:04.120 god little girl you're 17 now so it's almost old enough when people could really start telling you off 0.97

00:20:10.060 and i have had enough of being told off by a girl who clearly has no clue about life 0.74

00:20:16.720 the worst thing to do ever in any situation is panic the key is to be responsible methodical

00:20:24.220 logical know all the facts and make decisions that make the world better pretending she's like carbon 0.99

00:20:32.540 free when her her yacht team fly across the world and fly over she causes more carbon pollution than 0.99

00:20:39.640 anybody she just she just pretends she doesn't you know not every little girl i'm gonna stop

00:20:45.040 calling her a little girl she's like when my little foster sisters were like 17 i mean they were like

00:20:48.820 they were horrible they tell you off in two seconds i mean you want to i mean like one of them kicked me

00:20:53.620 like they're tough at 17 like give me a break she's not she's not a little girl she just looks like one 0.98

00:20:58.260 bottom line is is that when it comes to when it comes to the reality most kids don't have rich parents

00:21:08.060 that they can take a train and if they ever get to take a flight they have to take it like

00:21:12.720 this is ridiculous and if they're successful and the green new deal happens well good this you got a

00:21:21.440 taste of it right now this is the green new deal you know social distancing grocery stores running out 0.90

00:21:26.880 of food panic that's the green new deal that's the future and michael moore called them out on it and

00:21:33.660 hopefully hopefully we can see what's really behind this and get some common sense back into our

00:21:39.640 country robbie you brought up the green new deal now i don't know if you saw that question because

00:21:47.360 this wasn't on our list of things to talk about but you saw that question that somebody asked uh

00:21:53.220 jason kenney and actually it was a reporter from a calgary-based outlet uh 660 news asked him if he had

00:22:01.440 considered adopting a quote green new deal uh aoc's green new deal as opposed to uh doing something

00:22:09.880 to spur the economic growth in uh the oil and gas sector i wanted to ask your opinion of that

00:22:15.400 um because jason kenney took a lot of heat for shutting down that reporter and calling them out

00:22:21.400 for the absurdity of their question um but what do you think about it

00:22:25.320 i don't believe the green new deal has anything to do about the environment at all i think it's

00:22:34.140 some sort of notion that you're going to have this sort of uh one income glorified welfare and a form

00:22:41.120 of socialism or slight communism and in that theory you'll end up with a different class system you'll

00:22:46.980 have the elites like the al gores and the michael bloombergs who want to ultimately hold on to

00:22:53.880 their power and believe it or not like donald trump or hate donald trump he's like he's not an elite

00:23:00.240 he's he's a billionaire rich guy but he's not an elite and there's a difference because they

00:23:05.720 the celebrities and like all of them they're all this part of the sort of thing and the green new

00:23:10.600 deal is really that and they don't care they're trying to use climate change and uh universal income

00:23:16.140 and all this stuff to justify it um jason kenney's under a lot of pressure right now i mean he's

00:23:22.480 dealing with low oil prices covet 19 now he's got to deal with the fort mcmurray flood and um i think

00:23:30.380 he handled that okay i mean maybe he could have threw a little bit more pipe back but you know

00:23:34.220 considering what he's asked to go through i mean i think he's doing a decent job leading us right now

00:23:41.040 um to candidly i i i'm impressed with all the premiers doug ford um uh the the uh what's the

00:23:48.900 guys in bc i forgot his name now um horgan yes horgan i'm not i'm not a huge lover of horgan but i

00:23:56.560 think he's handling the crisis with some class and respect and you got to give them some credit

00:24:00.240 not impressed with the prime minister he sits outside his perfect little posh little place and

00:24:05.100 comes out every day and i think that uh you know it's i'm not impressed with them at all um

00:24:10.520 maybe people would disagree um but no i i understand our premiers like you know he's under a lot of

00:24:17.320 pressure and uh the green new deer sorry the green new deer the green new deal is bs

00:24:23.120 they they don't know what the there if i was to analyze them after kind of going them for a few years

00:24:30.860 there's a whole other level of narcissism that's in these environmentalists yeah some of them are

00:24:36.080 kind of grit like kiwanis you know she kind of grit like she like you know she like married a 1.00

00:24:41.060 three-time murderer you know and she yells at rcmp and a megaphone and stuff right yeah but the rest 0.99

00:24:46.280 like like they're all perfect their hair is perfect their makeup is perfect they're all

00:24:49.860 like their instagram stars right and i think there's a degree of narcissism in them i truly do like

00:24:55.620 they're they're they're all about the pose and they're all like we're warriors but meanwhile there's

00:24:59.360 not a crease on their outfits and they're traditional and it's not my place to tell

00:25:03.080 people how to dress right but candidly i don't think they have a clue but they've got a bit of

00:25:08.960 a following and can't and and they're beating us in a lot of ways i mean greta timber when she says

00:25:13.320 we're winning she's not wrong it's i mean like she like we have to like the people that they're

00:25:18.220 defending industry have got to get off our asses and do something and we have to fight back

00:25:22.400 but um they don't really have a solution here's what the rest of normal canadians need to

00:25:29.240 understand if they succeed sure you might get some temporary universal income but the long-term

00:25:37.380 effects of what happens will never be able to recover but if we stick to what we know and we

00:25:43.820 improve what we know and get better and better and better and different forms of energy will happen

00:25:48.960 over time then we will have a better society i'm not saying that we're perfect we're not but my god

00:25:56.400 after watching that documentary i realized that they have no clue and are we gonna let clueless

00:26:03.160 people that don't necessarily possess the knowledge and intelligence to lead us take us down this rabbit

00:26:08.900 hole of disaster because when the dust settles you know right now in fort mcmurray you can see it

00:26:14.580 greenpeace is not here i mean i'm sure mike adima might you know go to some food bank and huck some 0.91

00:26:19.060 bags at the end of the day they don't give a shit about fort mcmurray jane fonda never cared about us 1.00

00:26:24.120 they don't care about our community they just want to use us as a symbol so they can do nice 0.58

00:26:28.660 instagram posts and have perfect hair in videos yeah isn't that the truth you know they're going

00:26:33.840 to use much like they did with the fire they're going to use the flood in your community as a

00:26:38.000 reason why your community should be shuttered from oil and gas forever that's exactly what's going to

00:26:43.040 happen i i i don't have to have a crystal ball i have a crystal mind and i can see it in the future

00:26:50.220 robbie you're very clearly fired up especially after watching michael moore's new documentary

00:26:55.240 how do people support you in your fight for families like mine because you don't receive a

00:27:01.560 lot of funding from big oil you're mostly just a grassroots guy just giving her out there um

00:27:08.220 because you believe in your community and you believe in what your community does

00:27:11.220 it's real simple i have two websites now so the old website we did a little bit of a shift we

00:27:16.560 switched the name to oil and gas strong from oil sand strong we still have our oil sands a

00:27:20.680 strong brand and everything but because like you know this this is broader than just the oil sands

00:27:25.980 i wanted to kind of change change it up a little bit and um so you can actually go to oil sandstrong.com

00:27:32.580 or oil and gas strong.com doesn't quite roll off the tongue quite yet um and buy seven shirts and

00:27:40.100 six key chains and then we're good to go but yeah no i mean i for the most part like i own a marketing

00:27:45.380 company and i do videos and i sell sponsorship for videos and some of the organizations i do videos

00:27:49.520 for but yeah it can be uh it can be a little bit tight sometimes but i'm doing the best i can with

00:27:54.640 what i have and and candidly i've kind of fired up because you know it's nice to i i i it was enough

00:28:01.440 to motivate me but it's hard because like you know you're you're battling this fight and in

00:28:05.340 contrary to popular belief like um the other side they have money serious money yeah and like you

00:28:12.480 know when like when berman gets two million dollars i mean that's just what we know about

00:28:15.800 right these people they have money this is their job i mean could you imagine making that kind of

00:28:20.060 bank and your mission is to destroy the thing so it's hard like i mean i'm i'm oil sandstrong i'm an

00:28:27.040 oil and gas strong i'm very proud of what we've done you know we're very small and we sometimes have

00:28:32.500 the highest engagement in the country and you know we don't buy our likes we don't have that

00:28:38.220 ability we we fight hard and keep going so three things invite your friends to like oil oil and gas

00:28:45.420 strong on facebook and then and go on twitter too uh to oil sandstrong but that'll be like i mean i

00:28:50.220 know it's a bit confusing i'm one dude in an office so you gotta give me some slack here um and also

00:28:56.080 real simple um just share our stuff and help our page grow because like i am you know it's hard to do

00:29:05.180 this all the time but i'm finding my voice again and i am going to be stepping up because

00:29:08.760 we have to fight and um i don't want to shut for mcmurray down and i don't believe that getting

00:29:14.000 rid of the like our energy is the answer we have the best energy in the world we should be developing

00:29:18.900 it more sustainably and working together to make it to make it work and and we are doing that and i i

00:29:26.920 think that uh when the dust settles and oil prices go back up we'll still be here standing like i mean

00:29:33.500 we just might have to wear rubber boots for a while well robbie um i i'm praying for the best

00:29:40.180 for your community that this is not as bad as it looks um and thank you so much for fighting for

00:29:46.380 families like mine and again i don't have a crystal ball but i know that you have some very exciting

00:29:53.060 things to announce in your near future thank you very much it was always a pleasure being on your show

00:29:58.320 thanks robbie

00:29:59.320 it is so important to get the economy opened back up as the covid 19 crisis winds down why

00:30:14.820 because we need that economic growth to help fort mcmurray rebuild so that fort mcmurray can help the

00:30:22.160 rest of the country rebuild well everybody that's the show for tonight thank you so much for tuning in

00:30:38.580 too much to think

00:31:09.540 you

00:31:11.540 you
