Rebel News Podcast - Miss Understood No. 0.1 — I know I'm not supposed to go to Costco

00:00:00.000 Welcome to Misunderstood, the show for the politically and or culturally misunderstood

00:00:17.980 lady and gent. We're your hosts. I'm Nat. And I'm Kat. Today, we are going to be discussing

00:00:27.720 all sorts of fun stuff, including everyone's favorite auntie, COVID-19. We're going to

00:00:33.480 be talking about feminism and we're going to talk about culture. Love culture. Where 1.00

00:00:37.740 should we begin? Speaking of culture, what about our signature culture shock moment for

00:00:42.580 the day? Ah, that's an excellent place to begin. Yes, the culture shock moment of the day.

00:00:47.620 Take it away, Nat. All right. So some of you may know that the Truckers Convoy has made

00:00:51.720 its way to Ottawa. So apparently the Freedom Convoy ain't so fringe after all, unlike

00:00:57.620 the sentiments of our PM true daddy. There are so many people in Ottawa. There are truckers.

00:01:07.800 There are just people who travel there just to see the spectacle. I didn't go. I wish that

00:01:11.720 I did because people were partying in the streets all night long. I would have had freezing cold

00:01:16.540 feet, so that would have been terrible. But those people are true Canadians. They were 0.99

00:01:19.360 out there in like negative 30 all weekend and they were peaceful. Yeah, they were peaceful.

00:01:24.720 It seemed like it seemed like a really positive event. And it's so interesting that Justin Trudeau

00:01:29.760 had conveniently been in contact with someone who had contracted COVID-19 and now we just

00:01:34.960 realized he tested positive. So he's really doing an excellent job avoiding this. Although

00:01:39.820 I guess today he had a fun little video sesh where he basically shat on those in support 0.94

00:01:47.240 of the convoy. Yeah, he doubled down on his nasty narrative. He's basically a giant bigot. He's 0.95

00:01:56.760 basically like anyone who's there is not representative of truckers and not representative

00:02:02.460 of Canadians. And it's like, dude, these are your people. They're all Canadians. So how do they not

00:02:08.260 represent Canadians? There's thousands of people, probably hundreds. Do you think there's hundreds

00:02:12.440 of thousands? We should probably know that. I think so. We had about, what, 11 people from

00:02:17.460 Rebel News reporting on the event. And they, from what I've heard, there were like hundreds

00:02:21.900 of thousands of people. Of course, we don't know an exact number, but there was a lot of support.

00:02:25.740 He's not plugged in. Justin Trudeau is not plugged in to what's going on there. And he even used

00:02:30.780 the term on his presser today. Dozens or he's, I said the amount, the small group of people

00:02:36.320 that have gathered to voice their concerns with the vaccine. Like, it's not a small group

00:02:41.780 of people that have gathered there. It's like hundreds of thousands of people who are Canadians.

00:02:47.160 Yeah. And they love Canada and they're flying Canadian flags. And of course, there was like

00:02:51.420 a Confederate flag there, which is like, first of all, this is Canada. So that's not even like

00:02:55.980 a symbol of Canadian racism. But sure, let's dig into that for a second. And there's all sorts

00:03:01.320 of pictures of the one guy carrying that flag. And he has, he's the only person in the crowd

00:03:05.540 masked who has a full mask on his face and you can't identify him. And even people are

00:03:09.400 like showing clips where they're like, who are you, buddy? Who are you? Yeah. Get out

00:03:13.780 of here. So when Trudeau came out today and he was like, to the people who are at the event

00:03:18.880 in Ottawa, you need to call out when you see these horrible demonstrations of racism and

00:03:24.560 violence. And it's like, they are, they literally are. And then there's the Terry Fox thing.

00:03:28.920 Yeah. No, definitely where they defaced Terry Fox. You know, it's funny. A lot of these

00:03:34.080 progressives didn't have the same, didn't try to perpetuate the same narrative when BLM

00:03:38.900 and Antifa rioters were literally defacing and tearing down statues all across like North

00:03:45.220 America, actually this past, I guess, two years. Really interesting. And what about the

00:03:50.720 fact that this is getting global recognition? Like it's not just happening in Canada. There

00:03:56.620 are people all over the world supporting this movement. Yeah. A lot of racists out there,

00:04:01.500 apparently. I guess everyone. So we have a photo that we want to show. And if anyone's

00:04:06.520 just listening, we are looking at a photo from Saturday. It's of Terry Fox, the Terry Fox statue

00:04:12.940 that's outside of parliament. Someone has draped a Canadian flag around his shoulders. Now this

00:04:16.880 is what they say is defacing Terry Fox. We have another photo. I don't know who the politician

00:04:22.600 in the photo is, but it's a, he's holding a liberal flag. So, you know, he's from the party.

00:04:29.140 It's a photo of him standing next to Terry Fox and someone has put a gay flat pride. Well, 1.00

00:04:34.380 the old gay pride flag, the pretty one in Terry Fox's hand. And this gentleman is standing beside 0.97

00:04:39.720 him. He's defaced it. He's defaced Terry Fox. He's a bigot. He's a total bigot. He's,

00:04:44.980 he's completely ruined the statue. Oh wait, there's multiple examples. I saw, you know,

00:04:49.760 a couple of years ago when people were yarn bombing? No. You know what yarn bombing is?

00:04:53.620 No, I don't. Is it like where knitters get together? Yes. Yes. They would, they would knit

00:04:57.220 stuff and they would like put it on a statue or on a lamp post or something and it would

00:05:01.840 called yarn bombing. So someone yarn, there it is. We have a photo of it too. Someone yarn

00:05:06.280 bombed Terry, another Terry Fox statue. Bigot. And they put like a little yarn headband around his

00:05:11.420 head. And as they called it in the news, he was adorned. Adorned. Adorned with this headband.

00:05:18.380 But when someone puts a Canadian flag around his shoulders, that's defacing a statue of an

00:05:24.680 important Canadian. So the left just loves to play with words and change the definitions

00:05:29.220 of things. And we'll get, get into that a bit more later on in the show where we talk

00:05:32.540 about what a woman is. Um, yeah, but, um, we don't want to dwell on this too much because

00:05:38.700 there's so much great content on the truckers, including stuff on rebel news and right this

00:05:44.420 very moment. K2 and Sid are on the border of Alberta and Montana and they're watching the,

00:05:51.300 uh, truck. They have barricaded the border. So then, and I just saw actually on Twitter

00:05:56.320 like two minutes ago that K2 said that they are, the truckers are letting through locals.

00:06:00.880 Yep. So they're trying not to disturb like average Canadian citizens, but they're trying

00:06:03.940 to make a scene. So I think that's something that was negotiated with the police because

00:06:08.280 the police were going to move in and tell them to move. And they were like, we're not moving.

00:06:10.940 So I think this is, and it's exactly what you said. It's amicable. They are showing signs

00:06:15.260 that they are really trying to not disturb the average Canadian citizen, but at the same

00:06:19.700 time, make a huge political statement. And I think it's working.

00:06:22.280 Yeah, absolutely. And I, I'm, I hope to see more politicians, like, especially, you know,

00:06:27.520 Premier Kenny and Premier Ford come out in support of this because as we know, they've been so,

00:06:33.040 um, kind of, they, they kind of haven't really said anything about this or made any comments 0.70

00:06:37.480 and they've been kind of hypocritical the last two years. So it'd be really refreshing to see

00:06:41.440 them kind of come out in support. We've seen other support from politicians like Pierre Polyev.

00:06:46.600 There he is. I guess he went to Ottawa this last weekend. Uh, Maxine Bernier, of course,

00:06:51.020 Randy Hillier. Dr. Leslyn Lewis. Exactly. Can we please have more love for Dr. Leslyn Lewis?

00:06:57.140 She's like an African-American female. And if we're going to play identity politics, like this is the 0.98

00:07:01.940 kind of person that they want to see, but not to mention all of that. She's just like

00:07:05.220 an all around great person. It seems like, and again, she's a politician. So yeah, who knows?

00:07:10.480 But I like her. Well, it's nice to not see her bend a knee to the like negative, uh, to the

00:07:15.740 mainstream narrative. You know, like I, I appreciate that, that she's coming out and she's, you know,

00:07:21.080 being a part of this movement. Um, she's not shunning her fellow Canadians, which is awesome.

00:07:25.400 And on this note, let's just one last thing before we move on, because we want to talk about

00:07:30.060 girly stuff too. Yeah. Um, today a new poll came out from Angus Reid or a poll in Canada.

00:07:35.220 54% of Canadians are ready to see all of the mandates dropped. So are 54% of Canadians racist

00:07:42.240 bigots? Hmm. That's not a small fringe minority. That's a, that's like, um, that's what they call 0.92

00:07:47.320 a majority. So unless this Angus Reid is also a lying bigot, would she know? Maybe. 0.92

00:07:53.380 Anyway. All right. Well, you know, so the prime minister may hate us, but on lighter news,

00:08:00.520 uh, red wine wards off coronavirus, but only if you have about five to seven glasses a day.

00:08:05.960 Uh, no problem for us. Yeah. No problem. We might have red stained teeth, but we are COVID free.

00:08:11.460 We are. It doesn't work with beer apparently. Yeah. It doesn't work with beer. But beer makes you fat.

00:08:16.800 Yeah. Nothing wrong with being fat. I like to drink Bud Light and it's super light and low calorie,

00:08:22.220 but it does not fight off COVID. So guys drink red wine till your pants fall down.

00:08:28.380 Please, please. For your health, for your health. Um, on to more negative news, uh, masks have caused

00:08:35.000 an increase in over 300% in childhood speech delays. So pretty unsurprising here. No? Uh,

00:08:42.320 yeah, not surprised. I'm shocked that this doesn't say a 300% increase in childhood psych, psychosis.

00:08:48.400 I'm sure that data is kind of in the pipeline there, but I mean, really you wear a mask,

00:08:55.340 you're covering this kid's face. Like, of course you're, you're, you're impacting their

00:09:00.280 like development, you know, like absolutely. Like you use your face to communicate. Kids need to see

00:09:06.380 smiles. They need to see your lips move to be able to learn how to form words. I'm sure.

00:09:10.720 Yes. I mean, I'm no expert. Oh no,

00:09:12.240 I'm no expert in speech pathology as well. However, I think it's safe to say none of us

00:09:18.100 were taught to speak. Like, did your parents sit you down and go like, A, B, hello? Like,

00:09:23.600 no, you just pick it up and you know how you do that is I'm guessing is by watching people speak

00:09:28.160 and seeing their mouth and trying it out for yourself and then forming words and listening.

00:09:32.840 So like, you're taking away like a big chunk of that education by covering, like, what am I,

00:09:38.040 what am I saying right now? You can't, I don't know. Well, people can still hear me,

00:09:41.100 but I'm covering my mouth. I couldn't, I couldn't. No, just kidding. I'm covering my mouth. Oh no.

00:09:45.300 Not to mention how sad is it whenever you see a child wearing a mask? Dude, the other day I was at

00:09:50.480 Costco. I know I'm not supposed to go there cause they hate, um, anti-maskers. Everyone hates

00:09:54.800 everything. Everyone hates everything. But I saw a little baby about one years old,

00:09:59.200 double masked with a face shield, literally a baby. Like I kid you not a baby, a baby like that baby

00:10:05.140 is going to be effed up. And this is the thing, the long-term implications of this, like what,

00:10:10.860 if you can't communicate, what are you going to be able to do or breathe or breathe? I'm sure.

00:10:15.620 Well, I'm sure that affects a whole nother level of things, but communication is one of our most

00:10:20.400 important tools in society. So if you can't communicate, well, they'll just go on Twitter.

00:10:25.060 It's fine. Oh, okay. They'll just spew vitriol on Twitter. Apparently kids can't really

00:10:29.180 write anymore or read either, but. Oh, fantastic. I'm really excited about the next generation of

00:10:34.380 doctors and lawyers that we're going to have who have been on Skype calls for the last three years

00:10:39.240 of their education. That's great. Oh yeah. That's great. We're going to have a good time with that.

00:10:43.240 Uh, are masks making us mean or not? Uh, yeah, I think so. Are they? They're, they really make me

00:10:49.300 want to rob something. The anonymity is really. So we had, we had looked at this article earlier and it,

00:10:56.440 I think it speaks to the psychology of when your face is covered, like you just said,

00:11:01.500 you are more likely to commit crimes because no one can identify you. And in this, um, article,

00:11:06.320 they spoke about this study that was done in the 1970s. It's, I read this a couple of days ago,

00:11:11.280 so forgive me if it's not all exactly what's written there, but I'm pretty sure they said

00:11:15.800 something about, they did a study with kids trick or treating and they found, so if they gave the kids a

00:11:21.680 rule, you can only take two pieces of candy. The kids who were masked had a like 33% increase in

00:11:27.740 the likelihood of taking more than two pieces of candy. So every kid probably is capable of taking

00:11:32.720 more candy because you know, they're kids, but the kids with masks on 33% of the time did it more

00:11:37.860 often. So that's not great. No. For society. No. If we're all being forced to mask, that means like

00:11:43.980 we're all more likely to steal and commit crimes. Absolutely. And think about like the people in

00:11:49.280 society who typically wear masks, it's robbers, murderers, dentists, all the things we hate.

00:11:54.700 So psychos, you know, so like there, it's not a positive thing when you see someone mask. And I

00:12:01.960 think it emboldens people a little bit to be naughty. You know, I find not to mention, I don't

00:12:06.320 know about you, but when I wear a mask, I feel really anxious and irritable. So I can also see

00:12:10.760 how that would impact how you treat other people, you know, cause I'm just like, get this dang thing

00:12:15.440 off. Like I want to go outside. Yeah. I don't know. I wonder if it sort of creates the same

00:12:20.160 psychology when you're on Twitter where you're like, I'm kind of anonymous right now and I'm

00:12:24.420 just going to shoot off and assume there's no consequences because no one knows who I

00:12:27.760 am. Like I wonder if that travels into masks. It must, you know, only time will tell. And I

00:12:34.080 also kind of wonder, you know, has crime risen as a result of these mask mandates? I'm going

00:12:38.980 to say yes. I'm going to misinformation. Well, the thing is, of course the mainstream media would

00:12:45.200 probably never report on that because they love their mask mandates. They'll probably start

00:12:49.740 reporting on it now after the weekend in Ottawa. Oh, crime has skyrocketed 37,000%. And it's like,

00:12:56.320 well, that started in like October of 2020, but that's fine. Two years ago, you know, when the mask

00:13:01.800 mandates were implemented. Yeah. Good. That's good. I remember going to an Ikea, like the summer before

00:13:08.020 the mask mandates, it was in COVID, but it was a packed house at Ikea and no one was wearing a

00:13:13.000 mask and it was wild. And I remember thinking, this is wild. I didn't feel unsafe, but I was just

00:13:16.980 like, wow, like this is pretty crazy. And then like that was August. And then in September or October,

00:13:21.020 it was the mask mandate that has still not been dropped. And now it's like that, that would be

00:13:26.660 seen as like a super spreader, like mass murder event. Oh, cool. Like really, it was pretty edgy.

00:13:32.240 It's pretty sexy. Yeah. But you know, like we were talking about before though, seeing someone's face

00:13:37.000 when you communicate, just it humanizes them and masks. I think this whole mandate is really

00:13:41.620 set out to dehumanize people. Like I want to see your face when do you? Yeah. It's great. It's a

00:13:47.140 good face. You know, I want to, I want to be able to see you smile. I want to see you laugh. I want to

00:13:51.640 smell your breath. No, no. I eat garlic at lunch. Yeah. Well, it's good for you. Yeah. The mask makes it so

00:13:59.120 much better. Um, we cannot talk about COVID without talking about my boy, Joe Rogan. Oh, Joey boy.

00:14:05.700 I know that this isn't your favorite topic. Maybe I do love fear factor. I know it's like,

00:14:10.840 we talked about this. I'm like, I never watched fear factor, but okay. So, so much has gone on

00:14:16.540 basically at this exact moment. Looks like Spotify and Joe Rogan and all of those boomer musicians 1.00

00:14:23.160 have sort of reached understanding. I think first it was Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. Who are they?

00:14:28.000 Who cares? Uh, said that they were going to take off their music from Spotify. If, uh, they Spotify

00:14:33.260 didn't start. And I don't exactly remember the demand because some people say they wanted Joe

00:14:37.680 removed. I don't think that was the demand. I'm pretty sure the demand was that they just need

00:14:40.620 to put like a warning on it, um, to preface that this is, you know, he's spreading misinformation,

00:14:45.200 which is like, you know, barf, but it looks like Spotify has caved to that demand. Even though,

00:14:51.780 uh, Neil Young started removing all his music. Um, it looks like they're going to start adding

00:14:56.520 warnings to shows probably like ours that talk about COVID. Right. Like our YouTube warning. Yeah. And it

00:15:02.020 looks like Joe Rogan is okay with it. So TMZ is reporting that he's apologized and it's like,

00:15:07.020 he's a soft apology. He's kind of like, you know, this is what I do. I could guess I can do some

00:15:11.780 things better, which is like human. Yeah. Like if he was like, no, everything I do is perfect.

00:15:15.500 It's like, that's psychotic. That's like what I do, but no, wait, but do you think a lot of these

00:15:21.280 celebrities or musicians who are kind of opposing his show are just doing it to stay relevant? Because

00:15:26.700 like you said before, no one knows or cares about Joni Mitchell anymore. Like no offense if you

00:15:32.080 listen to her, but come on. I think they just want to stay relevant. People who listen to Joni

00:15:35.840 Mitchell, listen to it on like disc. What are those called? CDs? No. The ones, the older ones.

00:15:43.460 Records? Oh, I just, on an old timey record player. Oh goodness gracious. Who are those people?

00:15:48.780 No, absolutely. No, absolutely not. I do not know them. Uh, yes. So as of now, I think everything's

00:15:54.360 fine. I think we can also listen to Rogan, but you might have to listen to a warning before you

00:15:57.840 listen to his show and possibly our show. Yeah. They're going to be like, listen, these broads 1.00

00:16:01.520 don't know what the heck they're talking about. And we're going to be like, that is correct.

00:16:04.080 We don't. We absolutely don't. Who else doesn't know what they're talking about?

00:16:09.740 Uh, well, I think, um, a few people in the trans lobby may not know what they're talking about.

00:16:15.780 I, there's an image I'd like to show y'all. Um, Oh, not this one. Oh, that's so sorry.

00:16:20.960 That's going to be so funny. This one here. Oh yeah. So, uh, they're coming up with a pregnant 1.00

00:16:26.640 man emoji y'all. And I don't know about you, but I did not know that men could be pregnant. In fact,

00:16:31.700 I thought that was the only thing woman, women could do that men cannot. 0.99

00:16:35.780 Yes. I am going to make a very transphobic statement right now and say that men cannot give

00:16:40.800 birth. No, I just don't think it's possible. I've never. Do you have ovaries? Do you have fallopian

00:16:48.100 tubes? If you do, you were born a woman. I don't know. It's very confusing. It's very

00:16:52.260 confusing. It's very confusing. And also like, why, why are we normalizing this? And why are

00:16:57.560 we trying to erase women? Like the 0.03% of people who have like a beard and also still 1.00

00:17:04.560 have their like female sex organs. It's like those people need to feel humanized. It's like

00:17:08.880 there are so few of them. Do we really need? Yeah. Why are we pandering? Because that's what

00:17:13.520 we do. We're in a pandering culture, pandering to the lowest common denominator, right? The

00:17:18.540 loudest fringe. If you want to use the term correctly, that's fringe. That is fringe.

00:17:24.120 Who are giving birth. That's fringe. And yet this has become mainstream. And I think that's

00:17:27.880 really scary. I don't, I don't know. I don't want my kid with an iPhone to see a pregnant 1.00

00:17:31.820 man and be like, what's that? Like that's, can men have babies too? It's like, no, we just

00:17:36.760 had the sex talk. Like, that's not how it works. Yeah. They're like, you're a liar, mom. I just saw

00:17:42.760 a man with a beard and he was holding his baby belly. And it's like, I don't know. You know,

00:17:48.120 I don't want to like the whole argument's like, how do I explain that to my kid? It's like,

00:17:51.940 how do you explain anything to your kid? Just don't have kids. I know. Like, how do you explain

00:17:56.620 anything? How do you explain people who like believe the earth is flat? Okay. But do you think,

00:18:01.180 so let's talk about this article. Women are now third class citizens, according to this 1.00

00:18:05.020 trans swimmer, you pen a teammate who speaks out. So, but that emoji also kind of further

00:18:11.740 amplifies that argument. Like, are we becoming third class citizens? What's a second class citizen?

00:18:17.920 Why are we getting bumped from first to third? But anyways, that's a good point. Yes. This article

00:18:23.000 was strange because I didn't realize that this, I don't, I forget her name. Leah, Leah, the swimmer

00:18:30.900 at UPN. The trans swimmer. Yep. She has a penis. Yes. And her penis has been exposed to her teammates 1.00

00:18:38.460 in the locker room and they are not happy about it. And I was like, oh my God, how does that work 1.00

00:18:44.540 when you're swimming? Yeah. Like I've watched off RuPaul's Drag Race to kind of understand the

00:18:49.620 physics of it. But it's like, if you're doing all of that before a swim meet, it's like,

00:18:53.620 ah. I think the part that really bugs me is that apparently the teammates are coming out

00:18:58.380 and saying to their coach, hey, we're uncomfortable with this. And apparently also Leah is still

00:19:03.440 attracted to women. So that's, that's a little creepy. There's this clearly biological male 0.92

00:19:08.620 in a change room with you and he's attracted to you. Like that's, that's a little bit predatory,

00:19:12.740 you know? Yeah. I would think so. Just a little bit. Yeah. It reminds us of other incredibly tragic

00:19:17.740 stories of, uh, intact males who identify as women going into female prisons and raping their fellow 0.97

00:19:26.460 inmates, which is exactly what the transphobes said would happen. And now it's happening and 0.75

00:19:31.820 it's a horrifying, horrifying scene. This is from the Daily Mail. Do you want to read the headline?

00:19:36.380 Yeah. So I was sexually assaulted by transgender rapists in a women's jail. Um, so a female prisoner 1.00

00:19:41.580 describes the ordeal at the hands of the sex predator who molested her for inmates during three

00:19:48.620 month reign of terror. Okay. So also apparently this person, Karen White was sent to jail despite not

00:19:54.080 having had surgery or hormonal treatment. So basically you can identify as a woman and then

00:20:00.400 go to a female's, like a woman's prison and just live your life. Which I would think is a huge bonus 1.00

00:20:06.380 because not only do you have access to females who are locked away and in with you, you also have 0.83

00:20:12.020 been protected from the male like violence in prison, which again, I'm not like, I'm not like sad that

00:20:18.760 someone's not going to be exposed to violence. I, you know, you've, we've all seen prison shows and

00:20:24.020 it's like, I don't want to go there, but yeah, I'm not happy that this person is in female prisons 1.00

00:20:29.480 either. And they're the violent one. So, and obviously like people like Karen, this trans rapist 0.99

00:20:36.240 are not representing the entire trans community. You know, we want to make that clear. Like you can't 1.00

00:20:41.220 lump anyone together. No one's a monolith, but like, do you really mean to tell me that this person

00:20:45.200 is genuinely struggling with their gender identity? Like is there a zero percent chance 0.99

00:20:48.980 that they're going to come out of prison and not transition back to being a male? Because

00:20:52.640 that happens too. Hopefully they never leave prison. Oh my gosh. Hopefully the, the rape

00:20:57.260 that they're committing in prison adds time to their prison sentence, but then they're just 0.99

00:21:00.840 going to keep raping women in prison. I don't, I don't know what to do. I don't know what the 0.96

00:21:04.800 solution is here. And where are the feminists? Where are the people who like we, people should 1.00

00:21:09.200 be protecting women. Well, the feminists are now us and we're being called transphobes. You know, 1.00

00:21:14.140 I think the suffragettes are like just rolling around in them graves right now. Oh my gosh. 1.00

00:21:18.660 Them ladies, them ladies are like, nah. Yeah. Yeah. So good times. Yeah. Good times. But also 1.00

00:21:26.560 just, let's just end on the note. Like you kind of said this earlier about the pregnancy. You are not

00:21:30.760 a woman just because you say you are. Yeah. You are not a woman because you say you are. You, 1.00

00:21:34.800 there is like biology and science matters. So all these people who say, Oh, follow the science. You

00:21:39.460 know, I'd like you to follow the science. Yeah. Yeah. Like I call myself a queen all the time and don't make it

00:21:43.740 true. Well, it is. Affirmations. Okay. What are we going to talk about now? Um, I think we should

00:21:51.800 show everyone a fun image, uh, from Twitter about, uh, this chick who's just wearing, rocking a mew

00:21:58.180 mew dress. Oh yeah. Just a fun little transition before we get into some culture. Yeah. Okay. So 0.97

00:22:05.380 first of all, she's gorgeous. Let's just put that right out there. Yeah. She's, she's a genius.

00:22:10.040 She's a genius. She's okay. So let's talk about this. She's you, you'd mentioned this earlier.

00:22:15.920 She's sitting on the floor. That dress is like over $2,000. Um, I probably wouldn't do that if 0.99

00:22:21.760 no, someone was giving me a mew mew dress. And also let's give some more context. She's in the 0.95

00:22:25.680 change room. Yeah. She's in a mew mew. She hasn't stolen it yet. Sitting on the floor in the dress that 0.97

00:22:31.520 she has not purchased yet, taking a photo. And she honestly, she probably will not buy the dress

00:22:36.020 because she's already got the photo. I know all you need is the one pet. Yeah, exactly. But I think

00:22:39.820 the most perplexing thing about this image is the text his. So it says making my boyfriend sell his

00:22:46.120 car to buy me this mew mew dress. Well, his car must be shit. If it's only worth $2,000. Seriously. 1.00

00:22:52.000 Right. What are you driving around in? You can do better girlfriend. Like if you're shopping at

00:22:56.160 mew mew, get a better boyfriend. Yeah. Meet him at mew mew or just like, you know, get a job and buy

00:23:01.660 it yourself. That'd be nice. Is that transphobic? That's a little too empowering. It's a little too 0.86

00:23:06.280 empowering. Yeah. Or like, you know, I'm sorry. That dress is hideous. It's a hideous dress. It's not

00:23:12.340 for $2,000. No, thanks. No. I love mew mew. That looks like something an old Italian grandmother was

00:23:17.240 buried in. Yeah. But imagine if we were in it. Would we look cute? No. I don't think so. Maybe you.

00:23:23.380 She's beautiful. And I don't think it's a nice dress. I think she looks like she's been stepping on

00:23:28.460 grapes all day. She looks like a French maiden Beauty and the Beast. Like, you know, like the like 1.00

00:23:31.980 feather duster. Yes. Anyway, we can move on. We have our funny moment from that. Speaking of men

00:23:38.680 giving women weird things, Machine Gun Kelly designed Megan Fox's engagement ring with painful

00:23:45.020 thorns on purpose. If she tries to take it off, it hurts. Oh my God. How insecure are you, sir? I was

00:23:51.200 just going to say, is he that scared? She's going to run away. Yes. Okay. She's like 10 years older than

00:23:55.620 dude. And it really shows not because she looks old because she does not. I mean, she

00:23:58.840 looks younger than him. Well, he looks like a teenage boy to me with way too much money and

00:24:04.560 way too much cocaine in his system. But the fact that he's like, oh, this doesn't she have

00:24:08.200 like three kids? Yes. She's a mom. She's already been like ripped open, sewn back together, 0.75

00:24:13.400 Botox to the gods. And now you're like, oh, I'm going to add a little more pain to her daily 1.00

00:24:17.040 schedule. Like she's got the size of the ring. It's enormous. It's huge. And she can't work 0.54

00:24:21.440 out in that ring. Like you got to take that off like pretty much every time you shower. It's true.

00:24:24.400 He's really inconveniencing her. Where are the feminists? The feminists. But apparently 1.00

00:24:30.300 the ring is worth around $500,000. So that's it. Like what if she's not sleeping in that?

00:24:36.440 She's not working out in that. And you know, she works out because that bot is out of this 1.00

00:24:39.640 world. So like every time she goes to bed, showers, goes to the gym, she's going to hate

00:24:43.780 her fiance. And I give this relationship three months until it ends. That's it. I mean, the

00:24:49.060 scarier thing though, is they kind of, didn't they like sign off on their engagement, kind

00:24:53.560 of make it official by drinking each other's blood? Yeah. So there's some weird. Okay.

00:24:57.360 We have a photo of the ring for those who are visual. It's huge. Yeah. It's kind of weird.

00:25:02.560 It apparently it's like the shape of teardrops was his whole thing. Cause he's so sad.

00:25:08.420 I've actually, I I'm going to boomer myself right now. I've never heard his music unless I

00:25:12.680 haven't. I don't know. I haven't either, but maybe he's taking love is pain to a whole new

00:25:16.500 level. At least, you know, that's kind of interesting. It's just, Oh my gosh. It's so insecure.

00:25:20.920 But the blood drinking. Did they get their blood tested before? That's what I mean. Like

00:25:26.420 what if they'd COVID? He definitely has worse stuff than COVID in his blood. He looks like

00:25:32.000 a blonde vampire. But I also kind of think, okay, if you are in a relationship and you

00:25:37.780 have to rely on these weird things, like drinking each other's blood or like thorn rings, are

00:25:41.700 you really like, what do you talk about? Like if it's all spectacle, can you really have

00:25:45.560 an intimate conversation about something that matters? I'm sure they don't have any conversations

00:25:48.780 that aren't like highlighted by the blue glow of their own cell phones in their faces.

00:25:53.780 Like it happens. Yeah. A modern relationship, a modern romance. Yeah, that's true. Three

00:25:57.720 months I give this relationship. You heard it here. You heard it here first.

00:26:03.180 What's next? Oh, we have so much to talk about. There's so many things. I feel like we're flying

00:26:07.640 through this actually. Let's talk about, okay. Feelings don't care about your facts, how the right

00:26:13.220 mastered the art of losing. So this is an article from Evie magazine, which is like a pretty cool

00:26:18.020 magazine. It's like basically Cosmo. But for conservatives? Yeah, for people who aren't

00:26:23.600 sluts. Right? I mean, you can still be a slut and read Evie, but it doesn't cater to that. 1.00

00:26:34.540 And I really like, this article really highlights kind of what you and I have talked about. And 0.91

00:26:39.140 the reason that we wanted to start Misunderstood, because I feel like conservatives are not, like,

00:26:44.820 I guess the thesis of this article is like conservatives are losing the culture war.

00:26:48.540 Yes. Because we are like, hey, the facts, the science, the facts. And they're like,

00:26:52.380 but my feelings, and I don't care about your facts. And this is how it feels. And it's like,

00:26:56.620 when you're trying to argue with someone, sometimes laying down the actual cold,

00:27:00.020 hard facts doesn't work. And you get, it's frustrating for us. But we have to understand,

00:27:03.340 like, if we want to bring people to our side, we have to speak their language. And sometimes that's

00:27:06.940 just like, not facts. No. And I think a lot of it is, and the left does this so well,

00:27:10.880 is pulling on people's emotional heartstrings. For example, you look at the George Floyd situation.

00:27:15.160 So the right tries to be like, well, these are all the statistics about police brutality,

00:27:19.800 for example. And it's like, but that's not a very human thing to say, oh, well,

00:27:23.440 1 million people have this and this and that. But if you are mentioning George Floyd, this one

00:27:28.240 person who was killed by a police officer, people are going to be like, that's horrible. You see his

00:27:33.420 face, it humanizes him. And I think that really like pulls at people's heartstrings. And I think

00:27:38.080 that's why they're doing so well. Yeah. Because it's kind of manipulative too.

00:27:41.560 Yes. Yes. And we would know that as being females. Yeah. But also it's, I mean, that's the serious 0.86

00:27:47.540 side of it. And then there's like kind of the silly side, which is like, we're just bad at culture. 0.92

00:27:51.440 Yes. Like we're good at memes, but graphically, like sometimes people have posters and graphics for

00:27:58.620 these conservative movement events. And they're like, oh my God, that there's no style in that.

00:28:03.160 No. Our fashion choices can be questionable. Yeah. I think it's because the right thinks

00:28:08.680 culture, they're above culture for some reason there, you know, and it's, you're not like,

00:28:13.080 this is how you, this is how you win people over. Like movies matter. Hollywood matters. Clothes

00:28:18.000 matter. They do, you know, and it's, it's time for us to kind of step in on that territory.

00:28:22.880 Like, let's be cool and like make cool music and make cool movies and make cool art. And it doesn't

00:28:27.420 have to, you know, uh, lower itself to like the satanic rituals that the, no, you don't

00:28:32.900 have to drink blood to be cool. You don't need to do like pizza gate stuff, JK, but like

00:28:38.820 you don't, but you don't need to lower yourself to their tactics, but like, let's engage ourselves

00:28:46.920 in the conversation of culture and like feelings because that, like you said, like that humanizes

00:28:51.740 it and it makes it more appealing to people who are on the fence. And if we're just yelling

00:28:55.560 at them about stats, which is like, you know, factual and important and a big piece of this

00:29:00.880 puzzle, but there's also, there's all this other stuff on the edges and we need to like

00:29:04.380 woo people to come over and just telling them about cold hard facts isn't always the way.

00:29:09.280 No, I think especially females, especially because like politics only really matters to 1.00

00:29:12.740 people when it directly affects them. Look at COVID-19, how slow people have been to kind

00:29:16.640 of latch onto the fact that, oh, maybe, maybe the narrative being perpetuated by the media

00:29:21.400 and our government isn't true. And it takes people time because slowly and slowly

00:29:25.200 COVID has started to directly affect their lives. Right. And I think that's something

00:29:29.760 that also needs to be considered. Yes. And it reminds me of this sudden shift in how Canadians 0.94

00:29:35.800 are feeling about COVID restrictions. Like we mentioned earlier, the 54% of Canadians are

00:29:40.380 now just done with restrictions. They want them dropped. But like that same poll was done

00:29:45.500 like two weeks ago and it was a majority that people were like, no, we need more restrictions.

00:29:49.640 And I think it's like, has the truckers convoy had that cultural effect that we're talking

00:29:56.080 about where it's just like emotionally, you see these little kids like holding up their

00:29:59.780 signs. They're like, I just want to go back to school. And they're like, is that enough

00:30:03.600 to just tip the average person to be like, hmm, maybe this is the movement for me. Like maybe

00:30:09.780 I'm done with COVID. Only time will tell. Only time will tell.

00:30:13.300 That's the name of the episode. Yeah. Do we want to talk about this one? Which one?

00:30:23.760 The milk supplement. Oh my gosh. Let's talk about it. All right, folks. So this is funny.

00:30:28.900 On this show, we like to talk about science, but apparently science may have gone a little

00:30:34.200 too far. This revolutionary health supplement is made from humans. It's human milk. It's human

00:30:41.680 milk, but not human milk. It's female milk. It's man milk. It's made from humans. Yeah.

00:30:47.320 No, it's made from frigging women. It's made from birthing people only. So also I'm pretty 1.00

00:30:52.740 sure this supplement was developed by a man and I would love to know where he came up with

00:30:58.380 this idea. Yeah. Like where was his sourcing material? Like how, where were the first couple

00:31:02.340 of experiments done? Yeah. Was it a titty? I'm just wondering. And if that's true, that's a

00:31:08.480 little weird, but can we also just talk about the fact that it basically allows the body

00:31:12.340 to maintain and restore itself by reducing inflammation, boosting immunity, supporting

00:31:16.980 better sleep, improving digestive health, as well as overall mental wellbeing. You know,

00:31:20.600 I would just like to point out a lot of other things like water, sleep, like, you know, exercise

00:31:26.240 before sleep, eating well, getting enough sleep can pretty much do all of that. Like, but no,

00:31:31.280 this guy's like, no, give me them titties. And it's like 70 bucks for like a bottle or something 0.93

00:31:36.140 like that. Like see. Yeah. Or just find a pregnant woman and latch on. Just don't do 0.99

00:31:41.920 that. Yeah. Disinformation misunderstood is telling men to latch onto females. No, we

00:31:49.660 are not. We are making jokes. This is comedy. This is also a comedy show. Yeah. This is

00:31:53.280 satire. This is satire. Or Nat and cat tire. Oh, I love that. That's really cute. Oh my

00:31:59.240 gosh. Okay. Should we talk about fashion? Can we talk about fashion for a second? I don't

00:32:03.620 know if anyone can see this, but today I'm dressed like a Western, um, a frontier woman.

00:32:08.720 And this is in honor of the truckers who have driven all the way from the great West. Today,

00:32:13.520 I'm wearing a shirt that was probably delivered by a trucker. Oh, that's amazing. Okay. They

00:32:18.040 all are. Yeah, exactly. I have an Amazon order that I expect to arrive by tomorrow. It'll be

00:32:24.400 there. Let's, let's hope. So let's just, let's just show some looks and let's comment on them. Okay.

00:32:28.120 So this is Paris fashion week from 2022. This is Tyler, the creator. Um, I don't like it. Um,

00:32:34.340 it looks like he works at Chernobyl. He looks like it's like world war one, but he's not fighting.

00:32:40.220 No, he's like a messenger boy in world war one, but it's like the, the Russian side. All right,

00:32:45.720 moving on. Okay. This, she's wearing a big oversized something. I can't say her name.

00:32:49.440 Cara Delevingne. Yeah. She's got great eyebrows. You know, she does, but I'm kind of over her.

00:32:55.540 I'm over her. Yeah. What is this? This is just a baggy sweater and no pants. Yeah. Yeah. I wonder

00:32:59.540 how much that costs. Yeah. Too much. That's stupid. Um, no. Okay. The Canadian tuxedo. Guys,

00:33:05.400 Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake did this in like 2001. Yeah. God, this is not a hot look.

00:33:10.540 Moving on. This is okay. Yeah. Uh, who is this? This is a lady. Okay. Oh, Venus. Okay. I don't like 0.99

00:33:18.760 her. So I'm over, I'm over it. I mean, whatever. It's okay. It's this is Victor Cruz.

00:33:24.260 You know, I'm just so far. These looks aren't doing it for me. This is just a funny checkered

00:33:29.840 blazer with a hat. It's like nothing special. Orange pants. I don't know. Okay. You guys

00:33:33.840 wearing orange pants. That's something. Okay. This is cool. This is some actual fashion.

00:33:37.400 This is cool. Okay. I don't like it. No, but it's like this person is wearing like a long

00:33:43.220 white trench. It looks like some sort of like a trucker's hat. Hey, it's like a trucker's hat

00:33:50.680 with like an evil empire doctor coat. It's horrible. And I hate it. She looks like Fauci.

00:33:57.780 These are all horrible. These are, I'm actually offended. I'm actually really sad about the state

00:34:03.220 of fashion. I was, I was expecting some like beautiful gowns. Me too. Okay. And also another

00:34:08.540 Kanye in a crazy suit. Imagine how much all those clothes combined together cost. Like way too much.

00:34:15.760 Way too much. I could have got my hair did like hundreds of times. I could have bought more stuff

00:34:20.240 from truckers. These are all terrible, terrible, terrible. This is just a picture of a pizza on a

00:34:27.480 shirt. Pharrell with some terrible glasses. Oh my God. What has happened to fashion, Nat? I think

00:34:33.240 it's because the right actually is taking over and this is what they, no, I'm just kidding. Oh my God.

00:34:38.300 Yeah, I know. This is what the right, we take back everything we said. Oh my gosh. You know what,

00:34:43.020 you can have fashion. It's yours. I'm just going to be like an old person that decides like they're 1.00

00:34:48.320 done upgrading their wardrobe and I'm just going to stick with what I've got. Yeah. And I'm going

00:34:52.200 to have this hair when I'm 90 and I'm going to look freaking gorgeous. Oh yeah. All right. So

00:34:57.360 Bella Hadid, everyone's favorite plastic surgery customer. I don't know. So she's posting crying

00:35:03.960 selfies and says it helps her cope with anxiety and depression. And apparently she sends these to her

00:35:09.460 mom and her doctor because she doesn't know how to express her feelings. But I was thinking about

00:35:14.220 that. Words. You know who else? Yeah. She can't use words to express her feelings. Because her lips are

00:35:18.460 too inflamed with fillers. Yeah. That's probably partially it. But also isn't that how babies

00:35:24.220 communicate? Like babies can't speak. So they cry and use like facial emotions to express their anger.

00:35:31.440 I just feel sad that she's so sad. But does this need to be shared on a global scale? Like does

00:35:36.420 she need to share this with her zillion followers? She does probably because she hasn't been in the 0.99

00:35:40.620 news enough lately. Okay. So you think this is about staying relevant and fresh and being

00:35:44.780 relatable? Yes. Absolutely. It's like, oh, stars are just like us. You know what is also relatable?

00:35:50.140 Having a face that you were born with. Just saying. Yeah. I know someone who knows someone who works at

00:35:57.700 her talent agency. Okay. And it is, I have it on good authority that she has spent at least $200,000

00:36:03.640 on plastic surgery. And that was like years ago that I heard this. So my God, how much more do

00:36:09.120 we think it is now? This is sad. Let's pray for celebrities. My entire body doesn't have $200

00:36:12.840 worth of like bones and jelly in it. But she's like just added like $200,000 worth of fillers and like 1.00

00:36:19.860 fake butts. It's crazy. It's crazy. Yeah. But yet these celebrities somehow get to preach at us about

00:36:25.180 how we're supposed to live our lives. Yeah. And how to be like authentic. Yeah. And also the thing is

00:36:30.620 that's most disturbing about this is young girls are following her on Instagram and being like,

00:36:36.160 oh, I love you. You're so naturally beautiful. And she won't go girlfriend. Like this is not how I

00:36:42.380 looked 10 years ago. Like be honest. Yeah. Like, oh, thanks. But like, this isn't my cheeks. No,

00:36:47.780 absolutely. Kendall Jenner is the same way. At least the other Kardashians admit that they have had loads

00:36:52.340 and loads of plastic surgery. They eventually reluctantly. But even so, at least we know it's

00:36:57.060 pretty clear. But no, Kendall, everyone's always like she's the most naturally beautiful. I'm like,

00:37:00.720 well, she's got the best surgeon. Yeah. So her surgeon has a light touch. She is still a very

00:37:07.100 present in her life. Speaking of Kardashians. So this is a fun little segment that again, TMZ has

00:37:14.500 decided to do this whole thing on Kardashian food photos. Who pays the reporters at TMZ? Like

00:37:21.000 bad fashion. Can we work there? Yeah. Are you hiring? No. All right. Let's show people. Okay. So

00:37:28.480 they're just eating. So it's just pictures of. This is Khloe Kardashian eating. No, that's definitely

00:37:33.200 Kim. Really? They're, you know, Khloe's really trying so hard to look like Kim these days. I don't

00:37:37.700 know. You know what? You're right. They've like melted together. So that's Kourtney and some, I think

00:37:41.640 that's her assistant. Some rando. It's just like, there's like 40 pictures of these girls just fake

00:37:47.180 eating. And I noticed like, do you notice how they're always taking their first bite? Yeah.

00:37:51.580 Like they're not like finishing. They're not in the thick of it. You know, like untouched meals

00:37:56.440 next week. Stay tuned. We'll have a photo of us eating food. And let me tell you, it'll be

00:38:00.180 everywhere. It ain't pretty. It ain't pretty. You'll smell it from the screen. Okay. That picture,

00:38:04.700 this picture, Kim is actually eating an ice cream sandwich and it looks like several bites have been

00:38:08.140 taking out of all of them. She probably does eat. Hmm. That's some serious tea. Like it's all just like,

00:38:16.600 I remember reading somewhere, hearing somewhere that like, it's a thing with them. They like take

00:38:20.840 pictures of themselves, like with giant ice cream cones, but then they'll just like throw out the

00:38:24.300 whole cone in this economy. Seriously? Like this. She's not eating the whole pizza. She's not eating

00:38:29.980 any of that. And she's like posing with Louis Vuitton. Like it's just, you're so relatable. Oh my gosh.

00:38:35.360 Just be plastic and anorexic. We know that's what you are. You don't need to pretend that you're eating 0.99

00:38:40.440 these giant pizzas. And in fact, give me that pizza. Exactly. I will eat it. I will eat it and I will

00:38:46.400 not regurgitate it. No. It looks delicious. I bet they have access to like such delicious food. Oh

00:38:51.220 my gosh. And they're just throwing this stuff out. It's, it's an abomination. Like if I had all the

00:38:54.980 money in the world, I would be eating all that food right now. All 40 photos. I just, everything.

00:38:59.620 So it's, you know, one of those weeks. Should we talk about your boyfriend now? Yeah. So as many of

00:39:04.220 you know, um, I've been reaching out, sliding into, uh, Pete's DMs for a long time. Never now. Um,

00:39:10.880 and no response, but, uh, he, I think it's cause he's. Wait, which Pete? Not everyone knows which Pete.

00:39:15.400 Oh, sorry. Pete Davidson. Okay. Oh, I thought, sorry. There's another Pete. Like the possum I

00:39:20.180 named in my backyard. The Spider-Man. He's a Pete. Oh yeah. Peter. Oh, Peter Pettigrew from Harry

00:39:25.620 Potter. He's sexy. JK. JK. So Pete Davidson thinks women like him cause he's a diamond in the trash. I think

00:39:33.600 that's extremely arrogant. Yeah. Yeah. Like a diamond, like a diamond, like a rare gem and jewel.

00:39:42.180 What does he call himself? Oh yeah. He's like, he says I'm like the tropic thunder of people or

00:39:46.780 something. And I'm like, no, tropic thunder was a funny movie. Yeah. Like you're not funny. He's

00:39:51.020 not funny. I've never laughed at him. I've watched clips. I've never laughed. No. I'm going to go back

00:39:56.420 to the Joe Rogan thing real quick because the last thing I saw of him on Saturday night live was him

00:40:00.140 playing Joe Rogan in a really, really unfunny sketch. And it's like, the guy's like six foot

00:40:04.380 something and super lanky. Why did you say like Joe Rogan? Like you could have done better than

00:40:11.360 that, but you chose not to. And it's just because he's a guy who's like dating Kim Kardashian. I

00:40:16.680 could have played Joe Rogan more convincingly. Look at me. I believe that. I believe that.

00:40:21.020 Fear of fact to her. I know you do. Oh, for sure. I would eat elk meat. Me too. Someone wants to send me

00:40:26.520 some fresh elk meat. Yeah. Please send to, I won't tell you our address. We are in a bunker,

00:40:32.400 a fireproof bunker. No more fires this week. You guys, no more fires. The only fires we put now

00:40:38.140 are in Canada. Yeah. All right, guys. I mean, that was the show. Thank you for sticking around. If

00:40:44.760 you're still listening, we love you. Be sure to tune in next week, 7 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday.

00:40:49.960 Yes. We're your host. Wait, let's tell them where they can listen for free. Oh yeah. I was going to do

00:40:54.240 that after. Oh, we're going to do that after. I'm so sorry. I was going to separate it. I'm so

00:40:59.040 sorry. We're bad. We're, let's end the show again. We're going to end the show. Let's end the show.

00:41:03.020 Let's just end the show. We're done with this show. Bye.

00:41:08.100 Bye.
