00:00:00.000 Hello and welcome to Misunderstood, a show for all you culturally and politically misunderstood
00:00:12.520 ladies and gents. We are your hosts. I'm Kat. And I'm Nat. And today we're going to be covering a
00:00:17.980 few topics such as Dylan, the trans TikToker who is documenting their transition from male to
00:00:22.620 female, Harry Styles and the alleged ambiguity around his sexuality, and the mob coming for
00:00:27.920 Christian actor Chris Pratt again. But first, we're going to start things off with our patented
00:00:32.740 culture shock moment of the week. Take it away, Kat. So here's a shock. Not all the conservative
00:00:38.460 leadership candidates are about supporting female-only spaces. Yeah. Nat and I had the
00:00:45.440 pleasure of going to a leadership meet and greet yesterday in Burlington, Ontario, where we got to
00:00:50.720 see Patrick Brown, Scott Aitchinson. Who knows? Um, Leslie Lewis, uh, Perry, Pierre, Pierre,
00:00:59.260 but he is, uh, Roman Baber. Roman Baber and, um, Jean Charest. And we had the opportunity to ask
00:01:07.380 them, um, how they feel about biological males entering female spaces. And much to our surprise,
00:01:14.060 these social conservatives, some of them anyways, had no idea what we were even talking about. They
00:01:20.380 were like stunned at the question. Yeah. So we started with Leslie Lewis, um, and I asked her
00:01:25.480 the question and she looked like she was very displeased with me asking her. Yeah. Like she,
00:01:32.060 I think we probably took them off guard because I think a lot of these politicians are used to being
00:01:36.000 asked about COVID stuff they've prepped for. Yeah. But what was most interesting is just the fact
00:01:40.300 that I guess they don't think this is that important of a topic. Yeah. It's a hot topic right now.
00:01:45.460 On Twitter, you know, seems important, especially when children are being taught that they can be
00:01:50.700 any gender and X and Y chromosomes are just falling out of the sky. It's like, these are important
00:01:55.520 in vogue conversations. It's a topic that people are talking about all over the world. And so it was
00:02:00.620 shocking to me that a social conservative like Leslie Lewis, uh, who's a woman had no, she was like
00:02:06.840 so taken aback by the question. It was very strange. Um, the only person who had an answer for us
00:02:12.520 was Roman Baber. And he actually gave us a nice little moment, uh, like a short interview and
00:02:17.040 he had a nice answer, which he will share, we'll share the answer in our video. It's great. Um,
00:02:22.160 but you know, you're going to be the conservative leader. You're hoping to be like, you know,
00:02:26.140 you should try to conserve some female spaces. I mean, you know, ideally ideally serving something
00:02:32.320 and if not the conservative party, then who? Yeah, probably the PPC probably. Yeah, that's true.
00:02:38.220 Yeah. So that's the shock. I was shocked. Yeah. I'm still shocked. Look,
00:02:41.840 okay. Okay. Well, let's move on. Yeah. Moving on. Speaking of trans, uh, you guys know a couple
00:02:48.080 weeks ago, we played a clip from Dylan. Uh, Dylan is a TikToker who is documenting, um, on TikTok,
00:02:54.300 obviously each day that they are a girl. So this person recently came out as trans,
00:02:59.020 um, and they are, I guess, just going through each day as a girl. So there's an article that we would
00:03:05.820 like to touch on. If you don't mind pulling that up, Mrs. Producer. Yeah. It's from the skim.com,
00:03:12.640 which I had never heard of, but it's a, it's an interview with Dylan. Um, one thing that,
00:03:18.860 one thing that, um, stuck out to me was that, uh, so here's a quote from the article. Yes.
00:03:25.540 Along the way, followers have watched Dylan buy tampons for other women, try yoga for the first time as a
00:03:30.440 woman and learn about her Zodiac sign. Nothing defines you more than your Zodiac. Like you didn't
00:03:36.580 care about Zodiac as a man, but now that you wear leggings, you're like, Oh, what sign am I? Yeah.
00:03:41.960 Yeah. No, it's crazy. So basically this interview is just like gushing at this person, um, for being
00:03:49.720 such a brave and bold woman. And it's, it's funny that like normal women on their day to day don't get
00:03:55.260 celebrated. Like, you know, we don't get no one. Like, Oh my God. Now what's your Zodiac sign?
00:03:59.680 You're so brave. Exactly. Like no one's like, Oh my gosh, you're the best woman ever cat. And
00:04:04.000 you've been doing it for 17 years, but this person's on day like 40 and like, let's just write
00:04:08.560 them an article, you know? And it's like, it's just, it kind of grosses me out because like we are
00:04:14.720 biologically women and no one gives, like no one's giving us a hoot. No one gives a hoot. We're not
00:04:20.020 getting rewarded and we should, and we should know my God do more. No. Um, but yeah. And it's
00:04:27.500 also like this article's riddled with misinformation. Yeah. Like for instance, Oh yeah. There's, um,
00:04:32.800 another quote here. It says at the time when there's fear and outrage surrounding measures
00:04:35.720 like Florida's don't say gay law, many find Dylan's videos to be a source of hope and inspiration.
00:04:40.140 It's like, I thought as a journalist, you had to do a simple Google, like, like you're supposed
00:04:47.320 to actually do more than that, but at the basic level, like Google it, just read the bill yourself.
00:04:53.080 And it has nothing to do with not saying gay. It could also be called, don't say straight. It's
00:04:56.760 about not talking about sexuality to children who are in grade three, right? Like up to grade three.
00:05:02.640 Yeah, no, exactly. Um, but these people have, they don't have an agenda though. That's, that's what it
00:05:06.660 is. It's ultimately, it's all politics at the end of the day. They want to push their agenda.
00:05:10.700 And, um, yeah, I just think it's interesting. I mean, this person used to be an actor. Okay. And it's,
00:05:16.740 Oh, they're not anymore. Well, I don't know, but it's, I think this is the biggest role of their
00:05:21.900 life, frankly, because you went from being an unsuccessful actor to having 2 million subscribers
00:05:26.520 on Tik TOK. I wonder if there's any kind of motive there. It's pretty trendy to transition right now.
00:05:31.660 Yes. I was actually going to come out as non-binary. Oh my gosh. That should have been
00:05:35.600 our culture shock. Yeah. So I, well, you heard it here first folks. I'm hoping it skyrockets my career.
00:05:41.380 And if not, then I'll just go back to being a regular woman. Yeah. Just become a woman when it's
00:05:45.180 convenient for you. Yes, exactly. And it's very invoked to be trans right now. So I'm going to,
00:05:48.500 I'm going to try it. Please. Well, we'll see how this goes guys. Um, um, yeah. And one of the other
00:05:55.100 things I thought that was really interesting is that this interviewer asked Dylan the best and worst
00:05:59.940 part about, you know, coming out so publicly and this, and Dylan was like, the worst part has been
00:06:04.840 that the vulnerability can be exhausting. And it's like, but you signed up for this. Yeah. You
00:06:09.820 document it on Twitter. Yeah. Sorry. TikTok. Yeah. It's not like anyone is forcing you to do this.
00:06:15.180 So you're clearly doing it for attention. So you can't complain about it. Frankly,
00:06:19.640 you're making a career off of this. Yeah. You know, no one's interviewing us.
00:06:23.540 Oh, they can on the skim or whatever it's called the skim. Um, here's a quote. Here's a quote from
00:06:28.760 Dylan. Actually, it's not a bad quote. Like to be honest, uh, he or she said, I just realized you
00:06:35.280 can't please everyone. Everyone's on their different journey and being a woman is not defined by those.
00:06:38.980 She's talking about looking specifically like a woman because she dresses. Okay. Yeah. We should
00:06:42.920 talk about that. Yeah. Um, so everyone's on a different journey and it's not being defined by
00:06:48.080 those things, but it does help me feel like one in some ways. I think we all have to have each
00:06:52.760 other's, let each other look like and be the people that we want to be. And I totally agree
00:06:57.400 with that. But Dylan, you're on TikTok. Like, like not just said, like if you're so concerned about
00:07:03.400 being vulnerable and like how, how private your life, like your private life is being like
00:07:08.420 explored by everyone. It's like, you are doing that for TikTok followers and you're being wildly
00:07:13.340 successful at it. And maybe if you were just a gay guy on TikTok, maybe you wouldn't be so successful.
00:07:19.000 Like I can't say for sure either way, but it's like, yeah, no, definitely. I think there's a case
00:07:23.640 to be made. There's another quote that kind of piggybacks on that. I want the world to be kind
00:07:29.300 to trans people and they can't look, uh, when they can't look like that or when they don't have the
00:07:33.940 energy to get all dolled up because there's a sort of expectation that exists that is sort of
00:07:38.480 unspoken. And it's like, well, you know, where else that expectation exists on actual biological
00:07:42.320 women? We don't get to just go on TikTok live with a beard, you know, like we, it would be appalling
00:07:47.920 for the entire world. Like every women are constantly criticized for their looks every single
00:07:52.640 second of the day. Welcome to the club, Dylan. Yeah. So you don't get to just like be a woman when
00:07:57.260 it's convenient for you. Like you have to put the effort in a hundred percent of the time,
00:08:00.980 not 99% of the time, unfortunately, or deal with the criticism of someone saying, Oh, you look kind
00:08:06.860 of like a man today. It's like, you know what? Sometimes I look like a man, you know, like I
00:08:10.360 have my bad days and it's like, if I'm feeling ugly, I'm probably not going to post a video that
00:08:15.780 day, but it's like, I, if I do, I'm going to be open to criticism and that's what you get when
00:08:19.880 you're a TikToker and a massive one. Yeah. 2 million followers. Yeah. And here's another quote from
00:08:27.180 Dylan. I put so much of myself out there, but there are still parts of me that I have to
00:08:30.960 keep private or things that just belong to me. In some ways it does feel like I now owe people
00:08:35.540 things or I need to chime in on anything that goes on in my life. I don't want to get to a place where
00:08:40.300 my transition feels like it's owned by someone else. That's called being famous. It's owned by
00:08:44.460 China because you're coming out on Tik TOK, my friend. So sorry. Like, yeah, I just, I'm so sick
00:08:52.400 of these famous people complaining about being famous. It's like, hello, we're trying. Yeah. We're
00:08:57.480 trying so hard over here. Once we get famous, we're going to start complaining about being
00:09:01.420 famous. Yeah. I'm just kidding. No, but you know, it just, it just seems silly. Like if
00:09:06.420 you really are so, if you're feeling the weight of the world, then quit, like quit Tik TOK,
00:09:10.780 just transition. And that kind of also speaks to the fact, like the article kind of touches
00:09:14.620 on how, like, you know, paving the way for the trans community and some trans people still
00:09:20.620 feel unsafe. And it's like, well, if you really felt that unsafe, you wouldn't be on social
00:09:24.480 media, you'd be hiding. Yeah. If you lived in a country that wasn't accepting, you wouldn't be
00:09:29.420 able to freely come out as a transgender person. So it's like, are you unsafe? I don't think so. Of
00:09:34.860 course, there are going to be horrible people out there who mistreat you, but you know what?
00:09:37.740 That happens to everyone. It happens to biological women too. Oh yeah. So ever walk down the street
00:09:42.460 alone at night? Yeah. Dylan? Yeah. I bet you start puffing up that chest when you do.
00:09:48.700 Seriously. I just think it's interesting that like the first video that Dylan put out,
00:09:53.800 um, was like day one of being a woman. It's like, so yesterday you were a man. Yeah. And today
00:09:59.760 you're a woman. Like you can just flip, you can just do that. Like guess so. All right. Must be
00:10:05.500 nice. Well, today I'm a billionaire. Yeah. Can I have some stuff? Yeah. Okay. Definitely. Sweet. So
00:10:10.900 she's so generous. Yeah. Anyways, I, I just want to say like, I think of all the, the people on Tik TOK
00:10:17.920 who are transitioning and documenting it, Dylan is not my least favorite. Like there's a charm.
00:10:23.700 There is a certain charm. Like this person's an actor. Yes. And I was going to say, like,
00:10:27.240 I feel like I know this person a little bit just by watching all their videos. And like, he honestly,
00:10:32.040 she feels like a nice person. Like she does. She feels like a, a, a kind person. She's,
00:10:39.500 she does say a lot of kind things about, you know, the community and other women. And she,
00:10:43.980 she carries tampons, not for herself, but for other women. Cause she wants to like bond with women.
00:10:48.320 And as misguided as it may be, it's sort of sweet. Like she's not, she doesn't seem like a
00:10:53.260 predator to me. No. Like I don't, I, I, I have no problem with, and she's, and she's obviously an
00:10:59.900 adult. Like she's not a child. No, for sure. Like a consenting adult. Yeah. So like go for it,
00:11:04.920 do it. It's just like, you know, like if you're going to be complaining about being vulnerable on
00:11:09.180 the internet, like don't be vulnerable on the internet. Yeah. You have a choice. So, you know,
00:11:13.980 yeah. Okay. Best of luck to you. Yeah. Um, and stop dressing like a child though. Yeah.
00:11:18.620 Yeah. The way that you dress is like Dorothy from wizard of Oz and it's like,
00:11:22.220 have you seen a woman nowadays? Like, yeah. Yeah. Okay. Anyways. All right. Should we talk about
00:11:28.360 other people who kind of act like women? Yes. Harry Styles, everyone. Harry Styles was in the news
00:11:34.040 recently. He had an interview with a, um, magazine. I wrote it down. It's about gardening. Yeah. It's,
00:11:41.500 uh, okay. It's the magazine is called better homes and gardens. It's relevant. And, and in this
00:11:46.600 interview, Harry Styles is talking about how he doesn't want to define his sexuality because it's
00:11:50.800 like no one's business. And I'm just trying to, yeah, it's outdated. Right. It's outdated. And
00:11:55.080 it's like, first of all, it's not outdated. If you're talking to your sexual partners, they might
00:11:58.320 be interested to know. Um, but it's also interesting because it's like, this is a better homes and garden
00:12:03.460 magazine. And they're like, so Harry, what kind of garden do you have? And he's like, stop talking about
00:12:08.040 my sexuality. And you're like, I just wanted to know about your like poinsettias. And the thing
00:12:13.280 is, so he gets a lot of accusations for being like for queer baiting. Yeah. That's a term I had
00:12:18.700 not heard. Yeah. Um, and he, and he added, am I sprinkling in nuggets of sexual ambiguity to try
00:12:25.580 to be more interesting? Yes. He says no, but we say yes. We say yes. Yes, you do. Um, because
00:12:31.480 otherwise what else do you have going for you? Yeah. Like, are you dating men? Are you sleeping with
00:12:37.580 men and dating men? No, no one's ever seen that. You've never, you're dating a very attractive
00:12:41.920 woman. Yeah. And I, and you dated Taylor Swift and she ain't no man. Yeah. Um, and I just think
00:12:46.640 it's interesting. My theory, of course, how dare I make a judgment about his sexuality? But my theory
00:12:52.160 is he is a straight white guy who needs to say, Oh no, like it's no one's business. It's outdated.
00:12:57.620 Like who knows what I am. It's like, no, you're sleeping with hot models. Yeah. You're a straight
00:13:00.740 white guy and it's okay. Harry. Yeah. Just be straight. You're allowed to wear nail polish. I don't care.
00:13:05.320 Like he looks good. I don't think it's attractive when he wears like lace gowns. Like I wouldn't
00:13:09.700 want my man to do that, but like he looks good. He's okay. He looks all right. I think he's just
00:13:14.340 had too much soy. Um, or something, but yes, I'd like to see him in like a denim jacket. Yeah. That'd
00:13:20.160 be nice. Like leather. Yeah. Like boy it up a little bit. That could be hot. Yeah. I agree. Um, one of
00:13:26.000 the, there's another article that kind of touches on this where he recalls his sexuality stressing him
00:13:30.500 out. Um, and one of the, the article starts with like, he wasn't always a sex symbol. And
00:13:36.140 I was like, no, cause he was a child, but it's also like, you can't classify men who wear
00:13:40.020 dresses as sexism. Yeah. Like you just can't like, no, maybe some women are into that as
00:13:45.480 you mentioned, but I really don't. Yeah. The majority of us are not going to date you or
00:13:50.380 sleep with you. I'm sure he gets a lot of, yeah, but it's, but I agree. We're like any teenage
00:13:56.720 girl who's like screaming at his concert would be like, okay, but like, actually when you meet
00:14:00.820 my parents, please don't wear a dress, please. And probably no nail polish too. You know, I don't
00:14:06.260 know. I just think, I mean, it can be punk. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. But like, yeah, the,
00:14:10.580 the dress is like nail polish. You're obviously, you're obviously doing exactly what you say you're
00:14:14.360 not doing. You're peppering in sexual ambiguity to be more interesting. Yeah. And it's, we're onto
00:14:18.780 you. We see right through it. I see, you know, if you want to give me a call, I can tell you
00:14:22.780 some cool men's stores to shop at. Yeah. I mean, you have the money. Yeah. So like,
00:14:27.640 come on, dude. Yeah. Um, and I guess when he was in one direction, he had to sign like a clause
00:14:32.660 basically that like prohibited him from like having sex, I guess. I think it was just being a
00:14:37.900 sexual, like icon, like talking about sex. Like it was like, keep it behind closed doors. Cause
00:14:42.300 this is like a family show, which is funny. Cause now that's exactly what he wants to do. But he was
00:14:45.980 like complaining about the clause in this article. And you're like, dude, like you, that's what you
00:14:51.080 want it all along. And it's like, you also didn't have to sign that contract. Like you don't have
00:14:54.940 to, like, if you're a talented person, there are other opportunities for you to make it as a
00:14:58.940 musician. Like it's kind of funny that he's complaining about. I actually don't know any
00:15:02.540 of his music. Uh, watermelon bunnies, sugar. That's all I got. Yeah. I'm sure. I'm sure it's
00:15:11.360 badass music though. I'm sure it's all right. I'm sure it's timeless. Timeless classics. I'm sure it's,
00:15:14.920 are we old? Like, am I supposed to know Harry Styles? Isn't he like our age? I think so.
00:15:19.060 Okay. So, but I feel like he makes music for, for a little, Oh, for a little teens.
00:15:23.820 Tweens. Right. Tweens who think it's cute when boys wear dresses. Okay. Well, I was never that
00:15:28.260 young. No, I plan to never be that young. Uh, yes. He has a quote here. I want to read. Um,
00:15:34.860 he says the whole point of where we should be heading, which is toward accepting everybody
00:15:38.240 and being more open is that it doesn't matter. And it's not about having to label everything,
00:15:42.220 not having to clarify what boxes you're checking. And I'm like, again, your sexual partners
00:15:46.360 deserve to know that. Yeah. Plus it's funny because the left loves to label everything.
00:15:52.000 Yeah. You're a bigot. You're trans. You're like, what gender are you? Like, what? Like,
00:15:57.620 are you spectrum? Like, you know, like everything is about labels on the left. So it's funny that you
00:16:03.240 say that because it's obviously not true. Either that or you're just a fake progressive.
00:16:07.760 I just learned, um, our coworker, Mike and I were looking at like a list of all the genders.
00:16:12.540 And one of them is like neuro something. And anyways, it's, it's about not being straight
00:16:18.720 or gay or bi and also not falling into the non-binary category. So it's like, that's too
00:16:25.520 much of a label being non-binary. It's like, you're like, you're not even that. Oh, so you're just
00:16:29.500 nothing. You're this piece of paper right here. You're just like, you're just nothing. You're like
00:16:34.440 dust. Yeah. And imagine your friends are like, okay, I can get on board with being non,
00:16:38.360 you being non-binary, but that's too far. Yeah. I don't even know what to call you now.
00:16:42.620 Plus, why do you want to erase gender? It's beautiful to have biological differences,
00:16:46.260 you guys. Okay. Like let's like, I, like we've talked about this on the show before. It's okay
00:16:50.360 to have, to blend some traits. I mean, Kat now is non-binary, so you'll start to see a little more
00:16:56.040 of that come out on the show. Um, but it's all right to just like be what you are. Like you don't
00:17:03.240 have to try to be like Harry Styles. You don't have to be so out there to be unique and special.
00:17:08.360 Like you are unique and special. Yeah. You were born that way. Yeah. You don't have to try so hard.
00:17:13.860 Yes. Okay. And it's okay to be a white cis male. Yeah. It's okay. It is. Not everyone's going to be
00:17:18.820 that, but you are. Yeah. So you can just do that. It's all right. There's fewer and fewer of you.
00:17:23.300 Yeah. We're losing the men. Yeah. So maybe that's the new. We need you, Harry. We need you, Harry. Okay.
00:17:28.680 He's got a nice chiseled jaw. So come back to the, come back to the good side. Okay. I think
00:17:34.300 he just has like a, uh, like a research team. That's like, you know, when you wore that dress
00:17:38.800 at the Met Gala, a lot of RTs, you got a lot of RTs that day, my friend. And he's like, I'm on it.
00:17:43.980 Yeah. Just like goes from there. So, you know, it's working for you, but I'm not buying it. I,
00:17:48.320 and I don't think it's a sustainable career plan, especially when you want to get married and
00:17:52.220 have children. Yeah. That's okay. To an older woman who already has a child. Yes. So, yes.
00:17:56.620 Oy. Oy. Um, should we talk about real men now? Yes. Let's talk about one of the only actual
00:18:03.140 men in Hollywood. Yeah. Other than Matthew McConaughey. Yes. Okay. Well, one of,
00:18:08.940 yeah. We'll talk about Matthew another day because he's worth discussing. I can't wait for that day.
00:18:11.840 Yeah. Yeah. I'm going to buy a Lincoln just to be near him. Yeah. Um, Chris Pratt is the man that
00:18:16.120 we're discussing today and he was under fire last week. Um, people were trying to get him fired from
00:18:22.220 guardians of the galaxy, the franchise for, and what was his crime? I forget. What did he do?
00:18:27.220 Oh, I think he's just like a Christian and he's open about it. Is that, am I wrong? Yes. No,
00:18:33.540 yes. Yes. He's associated with the church. Oh my gosh. And you know, the church has a history of
00:18:40.800 discriminating against the LGBTQ community. Right. Because we should cancel him immediately.
00:18:46.320 Right. Because upholding a biblical standard of marriage means you're not letting any gay person
00:18:51.500 into your church. Yeah. That's not what that means by the way, guys. No. All are welcome. Yeah. And
00:18:55.860 he's never specifically said anything homophobic or sexist or racist that I know of. And I'm sure we
00:19:01.580 would know. I'm sure we would hear about it. Yeah. Um, it's literally just that people know he's a
00:19:07.040 Christian. Oh gosh. And that's his big crime. And thank goodness the director of guardians of the galaxy,
00:19:12.120 I don't know his, Oh, I don't know his name. Do you know his name? I don't know his name. But
00:19:16.240 anyways, the director of the guardians of the galaxy franchise, a defended Chris Pratt and was like,
00:19:23.100 we're not going to cancel him. His last name's gun. There you go. That's all I got. Mr. Gunn. Yeah.
00:19:27.400 Mr. Gunn. We're not going to cancel him. Um, because of his political leanings. Yeah. So basically there
00:19:34.540 was a tweet that went viral where, as you mentioned, where they advocated for Pratt to be replaced. Um,
00:19:40.220 and it was like a side by side photo of two of Chris Pratt and another actor, I think Patrick
00:19:44.220 Wilson, and they look very similar. Um, so you're just going to replace this guy with another white
00:19:49.200 guy who looks the same and that's going to solve your problems until you find out that Patrick
00:19:52.560 Wilson also loves his wife and then you're going to cancel him too. Exactly. Like you just can't win.
00:19:57.400 Um, and basically many are applauding Gunn for sticking up for Pratt and refusing to go along with
00:20:03.500 the trend of canceling someone or even worse, getting them fired. So basically it just speaks to the
00:20:08.280 fact that when the mob comes after you, ignore them and guess what? They'll just go away.
00:20:13.820 They'll just go away. That's what needs to be done. Don't pour gasoline on that fire. Exactly. And I,
00:20:17.560 I really respect that this director is just kind of like letting it be. Yeah. I respect that too.
00:20:23.200 He's probably so rich. He's like, no, we're good. We're good. I'm going to keep making Guardians of
00:20:26.980 the Galaxy 57. Yeah. You know what? The liberals may not go watch it, but you know who will now?
00:20:31.940 The Christians. Yeah. So there you go. Yeah. We still need to watch stuff. Yeah. There's always a market.
00:20:35.940 Less and less stuff that we can watch. That's entertaining. Absolutely. Um, I think it's
00:20:39.560 interesting though, because this whole concept of canceling someone for beliefs that you don't
00:20:44.520 agree with. It's interesting because last week there was also a petition on Twitter going around
00:20:48.440 to have Amber Heard canceled from like fired from Aquaman too. And I, it got me thinking cause I was
00:20:55.600 like, yeah, to, you know, do I want her? Like, did I watch Aquaman one? No. Will I watch Aquaman two?
00:21:03.300 No. So do I personally care? No. But she seems like a horrible person, but we shouldn't be
00:21:08.480 petitioning people. I mean, this is my question. Like, should we be petitioning to have people
00:21:12.080 canceled just because we disagree with them? I would say no. And I think that would stand
00:21:16.380 for Amber Heard as well. It's like, unless she's found guilty of a crime, then she will
00:21:21.460 be, she can't work cause she's in jail. Well, and it's interesting too, because you know, in
00:21:24.940 the wake of hashtag me too, you know, there's all those, the Weinstein movies, Harvey Weinstein
00:21:30.080 is a producer. A lot of movies are made by his company or produced by him. And those
00:21:36.240 movies are still out and about on the air, you know, like everyone, we can go watch them.
00:21:40.180 I mean, Jennifer Lawrence is in like literally all of them rub his name from the credits.
00:21:44.380 Right. Sure. But he's the money is still a flowing money. So they still wouldn't have
00:21:49.040 existed without him. Right. And so the, the point is like you go after Amber, you go after
00:21:53.620 Chris, like then you literally have to go after every single movie in Hollywood. Cause they're
00:21:56.920 all disgusting, immoral people. Like they are, there's a lot of skeletons in their closet.
00:22:01.800 Okay. How many people knew about Harvey Weinstein and what he was doing? Right. Like a lot of
00:22:08.100 celebrities I'm sure knew. Uh-huh. And they just turned, they just turned away. Because
00:22:11.320 they were getting paid and they didn't care. Exactly. So, you know, I just don't think we
00:22:16.360 should be like canceling people because we don't agree with them. If they're breaking the
00:22:19.940 law, they, the law will handle that. Yeah. And I think there's also a bigger conversation
00:22:24.360 to be had about, you know, boycotting thing and things and stuff as well, because it's
00:22:28.820 like kind of to an extent, but then it's like, what, what are you also going to do? Like,
00:22:33.260 okay, there was that big controversy a long time ago about that conservative influencer in
00:22:37.740 Sephora. And I don't know anything about that. Yeah. So she was like this Christian Trump
00:22:42.480 supporting, um, Latin American conservatives influencer. Okay. And she was sponsored by Sephora
00:22:48.840 and I guess people complained about her because she's a Trumpster. And then they, I guess their
00:22:55.000 contract, they ended their contract with her. So this happened and it's like, okay, but I still
00:23:00.180 want to go to Sephora. Like, so it's like, where do you draw that line? You know, like, obviously
00:23:04.340 my values are not aligned with Sephora's for like a lot of things. Yeah. No, I have to still shop
00:23:09.960 there. But we are. Where else do you have makeup? They only sell drunk elephant stuff there.
00:23:13.020 That's what I mean. Like, so it's like, if we cancel everything, there'll be nowhere for us to shop
00:23:16.560 either. And, you know, in the United States, I think there's more of an opportunity to start
00:23:20.560 your own business and like more people are starting more conservative, you know, minded
00:23:24.900 businesses. But in Canada, everyone's scared to be a conservative openly. Yeah. So we don't have
00:23:29.060 that privilege. So it's like, and even a lot of these like small, like you and I have reached out
00:23:34.340 to a couple of small beauty brands in Canada that we like because they're like clean Canadian beauty
00:23:39.260 brands with like sustainable packaging and stuff. And we're like, this really speaks to who we are.
00:23:42.960 And we reach out to them and they're like, don't want to be associated with
00:23:46.020 conservative women. If you just don't reply. Yeah. And it's like, so am I going to stop
00:23:51.060 shopping? Well, you can't because where else would you go? Where am I going to get my clean
00:23:54.940 blush? Yeah, exactly. I mean, her blush looks great. Maybe now that you're non-binary, you
00:23:59.080 don't need blush. Exactly. Well, or I need more. Only time will tell. Or I'll make it blue. Yeah.
00:24:04.840 But, you know, we should commend Chris Pratt, I think, for being an outspoken Christian in Hollywood,
00:24:08.660 because as we've talked about before, like, it's very clear that Hollywood hates Christians.
00:24:13.060 So for him to, like, pick up his cross and just carry it, like, that's what we're called to do
00:24:17.060 as Christians. And he doesn't even do it very, like, overtly. It's, like, pretty subtle still.
00:24:20.520 Yeah. Which is, I think, great, too, because then I think you're kind of, like, bridging the gap.
00:24:24.640 Like, maybe his role in Hollywood. Yeah. He doesn't have to shove it down everybody's
00:24:27.760 throats. Exactly. And who knows, like, who he could bring to Christ through that subtlety. Like,
00:24:31.680 you just don't know. And I think it should be commended. But, you know, as Christians,
00:24:35.100 like, we are called to, we are, the Bible says we will be persecuted for his name. So,
00:24:40.140 you know, keep picking up your cross, Chris, because I think, like,
00:24:43.060 Crisscross. Great Crisscross. You will be, you're glorifying God. And I think that's what we're
00:24:47.120 called to do. So if only more celebrities were open about that. I bet there's a lot more. And I
00:24:52.380 know I've heard stories of, again, Joe Rogan saying, is actually Jerry Seinfeld said that he
00:24:58.700 has people, oh, no, it wasn't Jerry Seinfeld. Sorry. It was Ben Shapiro said he has a lot of,
00:25:02.820 like, liberal Hollywood friends who will secretly whisper to him, like, oh, I totally agree with you.
00:25:07.120 Yeah. And it's like, but you will never say it out loud. So I bet there's a lot of, like,
00:25:11.080 secret closeted Christians who just, like, believe in family values and stuff and who are just like,
00:25:14.900 I'm not going to say it, though, because I don't want to get canceled. It's like, you don't want to
00:25:17.120 get canceled for, like, loving God. Yeah. That's so sad. No, it's also like, you're not doing your
00:25:23.120 job as a Christian, frankly. Like, you're just not. I'll just read this Bible verse, if that's okay.
00:25:28.240 Yeah. Matthew 5, 10 to 12. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs
00:25:34.180 is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say
00:25:39.140 all kinds of evil against you because of me. So it's a blessing to be persecuted by our culture,
00:25:46.600 and you got to keep doing it. And so to any of you closeted Hollywood actors who are obviously
00:25:51.320 watching this show, you are not doing enough. So get out there. Yeah. Hey, Brad. We're looking
00:25:58.140 at you, Pitt. Yeah. I think that was good. Yeah. All right. That was great. We're going to move on
00:26:04.460 to, uh, what are we doing? A blitz? We're doing health. Health, of course. We're going to talk
00:26:09.160 about health. I know this is a bit of a variety show, but you know, our last few shows have been
00:26:13.720 kind of dark and heavy. So we just wanted to lighten things up with some gender neutrality and
00:26:19.020 some non-binary. Yeah. And we're going to power clash our way through this next segment. That's
00:26:24.740 what we do. That's what we do best. Okay. So here's something interesting. Baldness may be a side
00:26:31.100 effect of the COVID-19 vaccine. Women experienced their worst nightmare after getting the jab. This
00:26:35.480 article is from Evie magazine. You know, we love Evie. Yep. Um, this is horrifying. This is horrifying.
00:26:40.700 So I guess it just started as like an anecdotal account of, uh, another possible side effect. And it
00:26:46.660 basically it's resulted in several studies examining the connection between the vaccine
00:26:50.680 and alopecia. So it's an autoimmune disease resulting in hair loss and baldness. And there
00:26:55.480 the article, you should go read the article yourself, but it does actually, um, offer a bunch of studies
00:27:01.000 and a bunch of stats. So it's pretty legit. It seems legit and it's pretty scary. Um, I just like to say
00:27:06.620 if you have suffered alopecia as a result of the vaccine, now you have a really great excuse to go
00:27:10.520 around slapping everybody. Yeah. So that's great. Thanks, Will. Right? Yeah. Yeah. It's like a free card to
00:27:15.420 assault whoever you want. So there's, that's a silver lining. Great. Um, but in all seriousness,
00:27:19.660 here's a quote from the article, which is citing a research research study that says seven researchers
00:27:26.580 from Columbia's university department of dermatology and Irving medical center examined
00:27:30.920 nine patients, five women, four men ages 15 to 62, six of whom had received two doses of Pfizer and
00:27:37.320 three who had received two doses of Moderna within four months of the second dose, or in some cases,
00:27:42.060 even just a week after all nine patients developed some form of alopecia. Gosh, this just speaks to
00:27:48.260 the importance of like informed consent. And the problem is you cannot have informed consent with
00:27:52.340 this vaccine because we are the trial. Like for those, and I'm, I'm like, it's fine. If you took
00:27:57.620 the vaccine, like that's your body or choice, I respect that, but you weren't offered proper informed
00:28:02.380 consent because no one has any idea of the long-term implications. And that's so sad. Like it,
00:28:06.820 I feel like losing your hair as a woman would be like losing a limb. Like I just think it's
00:28:13.060 horrible. Like women are defined by their hair. Look at us. Exactly. Um, yeah, I have lots of
00:28:21.020 thoughts. It's, it's really, really scary. Like you said, as a woman losing your hair is, can be very
00:28:25.940 traumatic and some women are going to anyways, because of genetics and there are lots of things
00:28:31.320 you can do. There's like, there are lasers and there's pills and there's surgeries. Um, it's not fun.
00:28:36.720 It's not pretty, but you know, growing up and growing old, isn't fun and pretty either. But if
00:28:41.020 you were to fast track that process because you were vaccinated, um, that would be terrible. And
00:28:46.400 also like people sign up for medical research studies all the time. But the thing is, is they
00:28:50.940 are signing consent. They're saying, I know that we don't really know the long-term effects of what
00:28:55.880 I'm doing, but I want to be a part of this study. Maybe I need some extra cash. Maybe I just want to
00:28:59.620 help science. Fine. But people who were given the vaccine weren't told that they were being part of a
00:29:05.200 study. And even Obama last week or two weeks ago or something said like, we essentially tested the
00:29:10.440 vaccine on Americans. And it's like, Oh, yeah. Thanks for admitting that though. Obama. Thanks
00:29:15.980 for admitting it now. Yeah. Like cheaper. And it's interesting because there is apparently a new
00:29:21.760 drug targeting alopecia that's currently in the phase three of trial testing. So makes that drug.
00:29:27.120 Oh, well, you know what you guys, it's our friends at Pfizer. Wow. Yeah. So my theory,
00:29:32.700 because we've talked about this on the show before with, um, the vaccine being linked to
00:29:36.120 infertility potentially, um, or just issues in menstruation. So hello, big pharma customers for
00:29:43.120 life. They give you the disease and then they have the cure. That's not the first time big pharma has
00:29:48.500 done that. What a lucrative business. Yes. Yes. Customers for life. So great guys. That's great. And
00:29:54.040 how timely, you know, it's just, it's sad. Yeah. And it just, it, I think it's just really fosters
00:30:01.240 distrust in, um, our medical industries. You know, I, I feel like more inclined to just like move to
00:30:07.580 the woods and like, yeah, eat leaves. And yeah, well, that's exactly the, the biggest problem here
00:30:14.320 is not losing hair maybe, but it's, I mean, it is, if it's happening to you, but like,
00:30:20.500 it might be just that all of this disinformation that we're seeing and lack of informed consent
00:30:26.740 is causing people like ourselves to completely distrust the medical system. Like if I want to,
00:30:31.780 like just the other day, I was Googling something and a CDC thing came up and I was like, don't trust
00:30:36.880 that. But, but it's like, I should, I should trust the center for disease control. I should be able to
00:30:42.740 trust that. But I'm like, you know what? They have been lying for years now. So maybe I have to go and
00:30:47.640 look at this random blogger. Like I don't want to have to do that, but we have to, I mean,
00:30:52.080 it's up to us to have multiple sources when it's your own health in your hands. But it's like really,
00:30:56.560 really sad that like we now have to completely, we, it's like a full-time job. Now you want to
00:31:02.080 Google something, you have to do like five or six different queries and research and change the
00:31:06.180 wording and go on duck, duck, go and go on brave. And you have to cross-reference. And it's like,
00:31:09.440 that's our job now. It's exhausting. It's exhausting. I just want to know what shampoo is good.
00:31:13.460 Yeah. A thousand percent. Yeah. For Christ's sakes. And so also, you know, as an action item,
00:31:18.520 if you do know anyone who is suffering from this side effect and God, I hope you don't know anyone
00:31:24.100 and, or you yourself, apparently stinging nettle, it can help. Nettle leaf tea is a huge thing. It's
00:31:30.460 interesting because nettle grows like on the side of the highway and stuff, but it's poisonous if you
00:31:34.400 eat it without being cooked or boiled. So like, don't eat it raw, but there are ways that you can cook it.
00:31:39.740 Like they were talking about like cooking the collar, like the greens, putting it in a tea.
00:31:43.960 Apparently this can help stimulate hair growth and it's actually really good for period cramps.
00:31:47.340 Good to know. Yeah. Yeah. And it's interesting that you're not going to hear that from any
00:31:50.360 mainstream news outlets because you know what? It's not sold in a pharmacy. Yeah. Nettle grows on
00:31:55.020 the side of the highway. So why are they going to tell you to use it? Because God's medicine.
00:31:58.760 Yeah, exactly. You can go on Amazon and buy nettle supplements, I'm sure. Right. Or nettle leaf tea bags.
00:32:03.700 And it's like big pharma is not directly benefiting from that financially. So they're not going to
00:32:08.940 tell you to use it, but it's like they have a pharmaceutical for you, but there's other things
00:32:14.000 you can do. Yep. And there's serums, hair growth serums and there's all sorts of stuff. So you have
00:32:18.480 to look into it and you know, our hair is important to us. It's not your whole, like, no, it's not the
00:32:24.100 whole thing. You're not defined by your hair. You're not, but some. We're looking at you, Jada. Exactly. It's not,
00:32:28.520 it's not what it means to be a woman. Some men are super into their hair. Some people have no hair at all.
00:32:32.440 Some people have gorgeous hair and they choose to shave it off. That's their thing. And that's
00:32:35.740 awesome. Yeah. It's just, if you have experienced hair loss as a result of this, there are things
00:32:40.500 you can do about it. Yeah. So we're with you on that. Yeah. And you know, do your research. Yeah.
00:32:45.860 And do your research before getting any more boosters. Yeah. And do your research before
00:32:50.140 becoming a vegan. Yes. My goodness. Can we talk about this a little bit? Yes. Let's talk about this.
00:32:54.580 You know, Miley Cyrus was, um, in the news, um, I think it was actually, it was 2020. She was on the
00:33:01.100 Joe Rogan podcast and she said that she had to start including fish into her diet because she's a
00:33:06.240 very outspoken vegan. She has been for a long time and she has like animals that she rescues. And I
00:33:10.080 think that's awesome. Yeah. I love that she cares about animals. Absolutely. Yeah. And for me, I do eat
00:33:15.160 meat, but I have, I do have a moral problem with the way that we, we manufacture meat. Like I see those
00:33:21.560 trucks on the highway with the pigs in them and it literally makes me want to cry. Yeah. I think there's
00:33:25.780 been a lot of unethical practices, but it's important to note there are still many farms
00:33:29.860 in North America that are treating your animals with respect. Exactly. You can find healthy,
00:33:34.760 happy meat and you just have to, it might cost a little bit more, but you can definitely,
00:33:38.680 especially if you go to the city, go to a farmer's market, like you can find great meat. If you're
00:33:42.920 eating at McDonald's, you're probably eating sweatshop meat. Right. And you know, when you're,
00:33:47.300 you're right, you might be paying a premium to get, you know, better quality meat, but you're also
00:33:52.080 feeding into your local economy. And that's what we need right now to stop the great reset. So
00:33:56.400 just to throw that in there. Um, but yeah, so basically she ditched her diet because her brain
00:34:02.440 wasn't functioning properly and she was pretty malnourished. So I'm so glad she admitted this
00:34:07.400 because we talked about veganism a couple of gosh, months ago now. And when we hosted a clip about it,
00:34:13.820 vegans got mad. Someone commented, they're like, we're not lions. Yeah. And I'm like,
00:34:20.160 our teeth, our teeth aren't made to eat meat. It's like they are. Yes. They literally are. They
00:34:24.820 literally are. We're omnivores. That is the kind of species that humans are. We eat leaves and grains.
00:34:30.580 Yep. That's the way God intended it, my friends. So that you're right. It's just biologically the
00:34:35.860 way it is. And, and of course we are very like proud advocates of, you know, your body, you know,
00:34:41.960 feel your body with what makes you feel good and what, you know, helps you to be a productive member
00:34:46.320 of society. But for most people that includes incorporating meat into your diet. Sure. You
00:34:52.120 can do it if you're like rich and you have all the money in the world to have like every supplement
00:34:56.160 ever. Because in this, um, article it says, well, it's, it's quoted from the Joe Rogan podcast.
00:35:01.520 Miley Starr said, um, or sorry, it's not a quote from her, but it says she was doing all the supplements,
00:35:07.000 making protein shakes, et cetera, but it just wasn't enough at the end of the day.
00:35:10.060 Right. But my point is that it's not enough for her body. Like maybe someone else is able to,
00:35:14.600 you know, like, I think it just depends on your body. Some people do feel great and are very
00:35:19.440 healthy on a vegan diet. I think it's, if that's how your genealogy is built, like maybe that's
00:35:24.760 right for you. I think there's a, a interesting theory about what your ancestors ate is what's
00:35:30.560 best for your gut biology. So that's interesting. Um, my parents and grandparents and great grandparents
00:35:36.120 all eat meat and potatoes. So me love a steak and potato. That's my girl. Um, but it's interesting
00:35:42.280 that Miley Cyrus with literally all, all with literally all of the resources available to her
00:35:48.560 was taking all the supplements. She has all the money in the world. She can, she can get that good
00:35:53.180 nutrition, but she was still lacking in the basic nutrients. I think it's vitamin A or one of the
00:35:57.660 major vitamins that we need only comes from 12. Yeah. One of them. We'll figure it out. But one of
00:36:04.560 these major vitamins that you need in your diet to have a healthy, well-balanced life is only found in
00:36:09.760 animal products. Yeah. You cannot find it anywhere else. I think it's D three, right? D three. There's
00:36:14.880 the thing is there's so many vitamins that, that meat offers you and you need them. And you know,
00:36:21.480 taking, if your diet forces you to take vitamins, like you, like that's way more expensive than just
00:36:27.420 going and buying meat, frankly. Yeah. Yeah. So it's like, I don't know. It's something to,
00:36:31.180 it's something to pay attention to, I think. Um, and I, I'm glad that she's being outspoken of this
00:36:35.020 because as we mentioned, like she was just such a stark, staunch vegan before. So it's good. It's
00:36:40.200 good when these people admit that they're wrong. And you know, a lot of people I know who are vegan
00:36:44.520 and vegetarian don't look healthy. Like they just don't, they're not as strong. They're not as glowy,
00:36:51.160 you know, in their skin and stuff. And I just think it's something we should talk about more.
00:36:56.360 Well, I was a vegetarian when I was in high school and I was not supplementing. I was literally eating
00:37:01.860 like potato chips for my meals and my hair started falling out and my skin turned yellow
00:37:07.000 because I was jaundiced. Oh gosh. So I, I can bet you that not every vegan is supplementing with
00:37:14.000 all the, even if like, even if it's expensive, it's very expensive and you end up eating a lot
00:37:18.880 more carbs than you would if you just ate meat. Yeah. So then you're fat and weak. That was me.
00:37:24.660 Weak. It was fat and weak. And I got really, really sick and I had to go to the doctor and they were
00:37:28.900 like, you are dying. And my eyeballs, literally the whites of my eyes turned yellow and I started
00:37:34.420 eating meat and my skin returned to its normal shade immediately. Like that week, it was crazy.
00:37:39.000 And I was like, Oh my gosh, it was crazy. You got to just got to follow God's plan for us.
00:37:43.680 I wasn't taking any supplements at all, but it's like, that's expensive. And it's also an unnatural
00:37:47.340 and like I currently take supplements because our modern diets do not include all the vitamins and
00:37:52.060 nutrients. Our vegetables are less nutrient dense now than they were, you know, a couple decades ago.
00:37:56.560 So the earth, like minerals, the soil, the top layer, you know. So, I mean, it sucks that we're
00:38:04.440 at a place, you know, where we have to potentially take supplements to supplement our diets. But if
00:38:09.680 that's literally how you're relying on getting nutrients, like there's something wrong with
00:38:13.720 your diet and you need to look at that because sure, you know, you're saving the animals or whatever,
00:38:18.760 but like, are you saving yourself? And are you even, there's actually a really interesting quote
00:38:23.160 from Ted Nugent. He was on the Joe Rogan podcast talking about this and they actually used the
00:38:27.180 quote in an episode of Yellowstone. And it's about how in order to farm tofu and soy, you have to
00:38:34.480 dredge up so like the amount of soy that we're creating right now, you have to dredge up so much
00:38:40.020 land and you are literally ripping animals out of the ground. You're, you're the, the amount of dead
00:38:45.060 animals that come up in the grinding process when you're like milling the land to plant the soy
00:38:49.320 is horrific, horrific. And so you're like, you, are you actually saving animals? Are you? There
00:38:54.200 you go. And like, and you know, it's not better for the environment because look at how much water
00:38:59.120 you need to get some of these things like almond milk, for example, like it's, it's not, it's not
00:39:04.040 sustainable, frankly. And I think the biggest question at hand here is why is there such a push
00:39:10.740 for all of us to be vegetarian and vegan? It's so weird. Every time I'm on the highway, I see like
00:39:15.320 impossible sausage, like plant-based nutrition. And it's like beyond meat. Yes, exactly. And like
00:39:20.420 plants are great. I love vegetables. You got to eat vegetables. Vegetables are great. But the whole
00:39:25.000 plant, there's actually a really interesting book called plant paradox that my dad has like been
00:39:28.580 trying to make me read. And it's a complex book, so I can't really sum it up. But basically it's like,
00:39:33.200 is it more healthy to only eat plants? Not necessarily. Yeah, not necessarily. Yeah. So yeah. So it's just
00:39:39.900 interesting. So you need to think about why are the powers that be? Why is Hollywood so many
00:39:44.100 celebrities? It's weird. Why are they pushing this weird agenda? Do they want us to be pharmaceutical
00:39:47.880 customers for life? Yes. They just want us to be unhealthy? I think so. But maybe I should take
00:39:52.380 off my tinfoil hat. Nah, keep it on. It looks great on you. But that's an interesting point. Like,
00:39:56.740 what are they getting out of this? Yeah, I don't know. But I guess we'll have to wait and see. Only
00:40:00.700 time will tell. Yeah, I'm sure we're going to find out that Bill Gates owns like all the impossible
00:40:04.920 sausages in the world. And it's like, and no wonder, like, Mr. Soy Boobs is telling everyone to eat
00:40:11.840 soy products. Not going to take dietary advice from you, Bill. Sorry. Sorry. Nope. But yeah. But
00:40:19.960 we appreciate your input. Just kidding. I think that's the show. Yeah, I think we did it. We did
00:40:24.640 it. That was very successful. I feel good about it. Yeah, me too. Thank you guys so much for listening.
