00:00:00.000 Hello and welcome to Misunderstood, the show for the politically and culturally misunderstood
00:00:14.320 lady or gent. We're your hosts. I'm Nat and I'm Kat and today we're going to be talking about a
00:00:21.920 whole bunch of stuff including the trans issue, dating, body image and we always like to start
00:00:28.560 with our patented culture shock moment. Take it away, Nat. Yes, so as many of you know, Russia is
00:00:34.860 invading Ukraine but we are not going to be talking about the nitty-gritty details. In fact,
00:00:39.080 we're going to be kind of switching gears and talking about some of the reactions we've seen
00:00:43.840 and whether or not they are justified. Of course, we believe everyone's entitled to their opinion but
00:00:48.560 we kind of like to go with, you know, if you don't know enough about a topic, it's probably for the
00:00:56.800 best not to speak about it. We'll zip it. Yeah, so and so for example, you know, we've seen the
00:01:01.940 truckers convoy, the freedom convoy has been passing through Canada and we saw that resulted in the
00:01:07.980 emergencies act being invoked by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. So interesting to see a lot of
00:01:14.300 the same people posting in support of Ukraine now said nothing during the truckers convoy. Yes. Maybe
00:01:20.820 we should talk about how that's insane. Well, the fact that Chrystia Freeland and Mayor of Toronto,
00:01:26.360 John Tory, were out marching in the streets in solidarity with the Ukrainian people, you know,
00:01:32.180 cool. Yeah, sure. March for something that you believe in. That's cool. It's just like, hmm,
00:01:37.080 remind me, how many weeks ago was it that Chrystia Freeland was on the TV talking about how she was
00:01:43.240 going to freeze the bank accounts of anyone who was at the freedom convoy or who donated to it?
00:01:48.260 Seems a little hypocritical. Yeah, and it's also interesting that Justin Trudeau has been tweeting
00:01:53.700 about democracy and freedom, yet I guess he doesn't own a mirror or something because,
00:01:58.680 like we mentioned, he invoked the Emergencies Act, which basically gave the police, like,
00:02:03.320 dictatorship ownership over the truckers convoy. Yes, so it seems like he's super pro-protest,
00:02:10.320 pro-freedom, pro-democracy, but only for people who are living in Eastern Europe. Yeah,
00:02:15.700 and why do you think so many people in Canada who were silent in the wake of the convoy are now
00:02:21.880 speaking out about Ukraine? You literally just said this before we started. Sean Penn told them to.
00:02:26.160 Sean Penn. Any actor. I do whatever he tells me. It's probably Sean Penn. I don't know for a fact,
00:02:30.760 but it's like any actor who is still in the A-list world is going to be talking about Ukraine and is
00:02:37.480 going to be like, yeah, it's cool to be pro-Ukraine, anti-Russia. Again, am I a war expert? No, I am
00:02:44.560 absolutely not. I don't know a lot of the history from between Russia and the Ukrainian border. I'm
00:02:51.240 not going to pretend to. Crimea? What's that? I don't know. But it's just interesting that, like,
00:02:56.120 what I do know is about the fight for freedom that we're living through in Canada right now.
00:03:00.280 Yeah, and it's just so important to care about your own freedom and your own democracy, too. Like,
00:03:06.100 of course, we should care about Ukraine. We should pray for Ukraine. We should pray for Russia, too.
00:03:09.620 We should learn about it. Yeah, we should learn about it. We should learn about it, for sure.
00:03:12.900 Like, our freedoms have been slipping away very, I'd argue even quickly over the last two years,
00:03:18.720 and it's just time for Canadians to wake the heck up. I mean, we have a pastor in Alberta who's rotting
00:03:24.380 in prison right now. He's an innocent man, and I haven't heard any churches really, you know,
00:03:29.300 say anything in his defense, but, you know, pray for Ukraine. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Well,
00:03:33.340 that leads us to the next little article that we have here, which is, or it's not an article. It's
00:03:37.280 just, like, tweets. But, see, these are some of the worst celebrity, or is it an article?
00:03:41.980 Yeah, I think it's an article. It's an article. Yeah. It's the worst celebrity, uh, tweets. The
00:03:46.140 cringiest responses from celebrities on the Ukrainian crisis. So let's take a peek, see, at those.
00:03:51.980 I'm sure some of you have heard, uh, saw that viral tweet from that actress from 90210.
00:03:57.620 Yeah, like, I don't know who this lady is, but she's, like, writing a poem. Yeah, she, like,
00:04:01.040 wrote a poem, and it was just so cringe. Like, Putin, if I was your mother, I would have loved
00:04:05.640 you so much, and this whole crisis in the Ukraine never would have happened. It's, like, I don't
00:04:10.380 know. I mean, of course, you know, I'm sure her heart's in the right place, but it's, like,
00:04:13.480 weee. She gonna go back in time and write that poem for Genghis Khan? Like, hello?
00:04:19.900 Anyway, um, moral of the story is don't listen to celebrities about anything.
00:04:24.160 Unless it's us. Unless it's us, because we're celebrities. You know, you don't need to post
00:04:28.080 about something you don't know anything about, you know? Like, if you don't know about it,
00:04:31.560 just whatever. Just, like, sit back and let the world burn. Wait till next week and everyone's
00:04:35.920 posting yellow and blue squares on their IGs. Oh, that's probably gonna happen. It's okay
00:04:39.560 to not do it if you don't know enough about the topic. At least, though, the war has ended
00:04:43.920 COVID. Yay! So great. COVID's over, you guys. But, you know, um, our next topic is, um, a little bit,
00:04:51.980 like, unpleasant as well. Um, so there's a war happening in Ukraine. Nice. But also,
00:04:57.800 uh, trans athletes, biological males are encroaching on women's sports. We talk about
00:05:04.020 this a lot. We're very passionate about this. Um, let's talk about our first story.
00:05:08.860 Because we're TERFs, you know? We're TERFs. We're trans radical exclusionary feminists,
00:05:12.460 right? Did I get it right? Well, you know what? Yeah. I think I got it right. You got it. And
00:05:15.440 I think JK Rowling would be proud. Yeah. Even though none of those words describe me. No. But
00:05:20.180 here we go. Here we go. Um, so trans swimmer Leah Thomas, formerly 460 seconds rank as William
00:05:28.180 Thomas. I like how, like, she just took the Leah out of her name, William. Anyways. That's clever.
00:05:33.440 Yeah, it is. She takes the gold in Ivy League women's championships by a full seven seconds. So
00:05:38.980 I don't know a lot about swimming, but I know that seven seconds is a lot. Like, in seven seconds,
00:05:44.900 you can basically get there and back. Yeah. Like, think of, like, basketball when it's down to the
00:05:48.780 wire. And then there's one second left. And then they shoot their shot. And then that's the shot
00:05:53.320 that wins them the game. Like, like, time is so, like, important in sport. So is muscle mass. Yeah.
00:05:59.300 Ooh, and bone dancing. Ooh, ooh. And arm reach. Yeah. And there is a, there is a clip of this. I think
00:06:04.900 we should play it. Um, because it's just showing her lead, her, his lead on the other women. It is
00:06:10.980 literally insane. Like, there's basically, the tweet says something along the lines of, like,
00:06:16.340 this, the, this was a race for second place. Yeah. Because the other women had no shot. Yeah. But
00:06:21.480 this is fine, guys. We should accept this. We should completely be okay with men just
00:06:25.300 destroying women's careers in sports. Yeah, it's good. It's good. We love it. Um, what I don't love,
00:06:31.140 though, is the next article. Are we going to watch this? Yeah, we should watch it. Okay, let's watch it.
00:06:34.780 Let's play a second of it. So see how you can't even see the other women. So I see a swimmer in a
00:06:41.840 pool followed by a couple other guppies. Yeah. And who are these people cheering for? Are they
00:06:49.060 cheering for the people in seventh and eighth? I hope so. I certainly hope so. This looks like a
00:06:53.800 really short pool. Does it not? Yeah. Or that's just a really big, long man.
00:06:58.160 But I don't know. Well, this individual is a really good swimmer. Oh, look at those shoulders.
00:07:06.660 The shoulders of a dainty woman. That's for dang sure. I hope I can have shoulders like that one
00:07:11.720 day. I do, too. So yeah, um, this is, this is great. This is great. It's a win for women. It's a win
00:07:17.880 for, well, it leads into our next, um, sorry, I cut you off. No, go. It's a win for women and it's a
00:07:24.280 women. It's a win for nothing. You're good. All right. So, uh, this article is sad. It's
00:07:30.940 on the same topic. Um, but it's the headline here is this will be the end of women's sport
00:07:34.620 team USA math, uh, sorry, team USA masters track star warns it's pointless for her athlete
00:07:40.000 daughter to follow in her footsteps because biological males are taking over. Can we talk
00:07:44.520 about how sad that is? That is so sad. That's exactly the kind of thing that transphobes have
00:07:50.840 been saying was going to happen. And they're like, no, it won't. No, it won't. And it's
00:07:55.100 happened. So this young girl is like, why am I going to follow in my mother's footsteps when
00:08:00.440 all of my accomplishments are just going to get demolished by a wide, broad, big handed
00:08:06.780 man? Yeah. So I guess this daughter is on the track team and she was going to her first
00:08:12.680 meet and she ended up competing against a biological male who has not worked as hard as her physically,
00:08:18.340 um, emotionally or mentally to prepare for this race. He's like new to the sport. He's
00:08:22.160 new to the sport. Yeah. And he just got to go on in there and beat her because he identifies
00:08:26.540 as a female now. So it's interesting. And I was talking about this before. Um, but you
00:08:32.820 know, you never see women trying to become men and encroach on these spaces. It's always
00:08:37.560 these like men coming in because they know they'll beat us. They know they'll win. Well, it's possible
00:08:42.160 that there are women who are like trans men who are competing in sports, but they're doing
00:08:46.740 very poorly. Yeah, exactly. You just never hear about them. Yeah. Because they suck in
00:08:51.000 comparison to their biological counterparts. It's just, it's just insane that this is actually
00:08:55.560 becoming like so much more common than it should be. Yeah. You know, and I just, I, we should
00:09:01.400 never stop talking about this. And we won't. Yeah, exactly. Um, cause I would rather be labeled
00:09:06.720 a bigot than to see young women suffer for like, someone's gotta say it. Someone's gotta say
00:09:11.740 it. And it will be us. And you know, this reminds me of, there was another story that I didn't
00:09:15.560 think we put on the list, but it was about women's soccer players and how they're not
00:09:20.960 making as much money as their male counterparts. And the common thing there is like, well,
00:09:25.000 they don't have the viewership. Yeah. Like usually this is based on like ad revenue and
00:09:28.640 ticket sales. And like, if people aren't watching women play sports, then no one's going to pay
00:09:33.040 them to do it. And it makes me think like, is this just the market, like the free market
00:09:37.020 running its course where it's like, so men are going to become female athletes. And then we're
00:09:41.260 just going to be watching, like, again, we're not watching male sports, sorry, female sports,
00:09:44.640 but we're going to be watching men dressed up as women doing male sports. Like, is that
00:09:47.860 where the market is leading us? Literally like men in wigs playing basketball? I don't want
00:09:52.580 to watch that. Maybe that's what the people want to see. I, you know what? I really hope
00:09:56.100 that's not the case. Um, welcome to the freak show. That is not cute. Like I'm down to watch
00:10:01.240 like all those hot athlete, male athletes. No, but they're going to be women. But I don't
00:10:05.100 want to see them in wigs. Like that's not cute. LeBron. Yeah. Um, but I mean, you know,
00:10:11.600 and why do you, but why do you think this is happening? Like, do you think this is the
00:10:15.840 feminist fault? Do you think this is women's fault? Or do you think this is a result of
00:10:19.140 weak men not standing up for women? Because I was listening to Ali Beth Stuckey's show
00:10:24.040 Relatable and she said that, um, if men can't stand up to women, they can't stand up for them.
00:10:29.740 And that kind of notion has sort of come from, because of the feminist movement, women have
00:10:34.100 become kind of big, like more emboldened and empowered, I guess, in our society. And I guess
00:10:40.240 there's like this kind of trope of like the bully female and stuff like that. Like women are
00:10:44.500 bitches. Um, men are there, whatever, you know, like they submit to the woman now, like,
00:10:50.240 but you'd think that it would make us come out on top. And here we are getting slammed in sports.
00:10:55.380 And like, we've discussed this in our first episode when, um, Caitlyn Jenner won woman of
00:11:00.460 the year, her first woman, her first year being a woman. Like what are, if we were, if we were in
00:11:06.580 charge of this whole situation and we were smacking men around, like, wouldn't it work in our favor
00:11:10.540 more? Yeah, no, but I'm wondering if it's the problem is men aren't standing up for us though.
00:11:16.000 And I, I wonder if, do you think it's their job too, or do you think we've just dug ourselves
00:11:20.000 too deep in this hole? Hmm, this is a good question. I don't know the answer. I think it's men
00:11:24.720 who are masquerading as women who are pretending to be feminists. And they're like, I am woman,
00:11:30.040 hear me roar. And it's like, but you're a man though. Yeah. And so they're, they're playing both sides of the
00:11:34.000 aisle there. Yeah, that's a good point. That's a really good point. Um, cause I, I'm just, my
00:11:38.800 like first inkling is to just never trust a man who is wearing a shirt that says feminist on it or
00:11:43.140 has his pronouns in his bio. Because if you, if you need to show me you're a man by listing it in
00:11:48.420 your bio, you probably aren't. Or if you need to show me on a t-shirt that like, Hey, I don't hate
00:11:52.560 women. It's like, why do you need, why do you feel the need to write that on your shirt? Yeah. Most people,
00:11:57.480 most men just don't hate women and they don't have to tell us. It's like red delicious apples. Like,
00:12:01.320 are you, are you delicious? No, no, you're stinky. You're rotten.
00:12:07.500 This is great. Yeah. Um, so this is not a fun one. No, at all. No, it's, it's actually disgusting.
00:12:15.220 Yeah. Um, but of course just speaks to how, how to this whole movement has just gone too far. Yes.
00:12:21.520 It's just gone too far. So this is a convicted, I don't even want to say the words. Okay. Uh,
00:12:26.280 convicted toddler rapist is now a trans rights activist who has spoken at top ranked universities.
00:12:33.560 So this article is disgusting. That's what I wrote. I said, this is disgusting. I said,
00:12:38.920 this is too disturbing. Yes, this is. And hence we are going to talk about it. Yeah. And I think like
00:12:44.180 we want to protect women and we want to keep female spaces female, but like even more than that,
00:12:50.280 I want to protect children. Yeah. Like, you know, like this, like you should not be allowed out of
00:12:55.860 prison ever, ever touched a child inappropriately ever. So this person was convicted of raping a girl
00:13:02.460 while he was on trial. He was awaiting trial. He, um, started identifying as a woman and he was
00:13:11.760 talking to, he, so as soon as he was convicted, he went to prison, uh, in a male prison and he started,
00:13:16.920 um, saying, I'm a woman, I'm a woman. And he wanted to have his, uh, gender dysphoria
00:13:22.420 diagnosis certified or whatever confirmed. And they never did because the therapist at the prison
00:13:27.640 was like, I don't buy this. So it's nice. Yada, yada, yada. Now he's a trans activist speaking at
00:13:34.640 top ranked universities for some reason, because we know these places are liberal hell holes and
00:13:39.400 they're welcoming in. Like, again, these are, these are not children. It's not like, oh,
00:13:43.380 he's speaking at a school. Like, okay, these, these are adults. So he's probably not interested
00:13:47.860 in them. But how can you call yourself an activist? And I'm not talking about him. I'm talking about
00:13:52.120 those who are enabling this behavior. How can you call yourself an active, an activist and care
00:13:56.620 about social justice and then think that this is okay? Like, I don't understand how anyone could
00:14:00.240 find this to be acceptable. Well, this is the whole thing where it's like, okay, I'm such a feminist now
00:14:05.000 that I'm actually anti-woman, anti-child. And if I am faced with that choice, I don't want to be a
00:14:11.540 bigot. So I'm just going to be like, yeah, let's just go with what everyone else is saying. But
00:14:15.060 it's like, have you stopped to think about what you're doing? Because you're now saying that women
00:14:19.580 are not allowed to have spaces just for them, that men with genitalia, male genitalia should be allowed
00:14:27.180 in those spaces and be like raping a kid is like NBD. Yeah. And you have so much to teach us. Like,
00:14:33.240 what do you have to teach us? No, I think the trans lobby is anti-woman. Yes. I think a thousand
00:14:38.500 percent. I think with sports, Tumblr, like you said, children, like, like this movement is anti-feminist
00:14:43.880 and anti-woman. It's so progressive. It's regressive. Like it's so backwards. Yeah. And I think it's
00:14:48.100 homophobic too. I've said this before where it's like, what, what if your kid is just gay? No,
00:14:53.320 they're definitely born in the wrong body and need to be medicated and medically altered in so many
00:14:59.180 different ways. But what if they're just like different? What if they're not even gay? What if they're
00:15:02.000 just like, I was a girl who played sports. I had super short hair, played sports. Like, does that,
00:15:05.760 what? Am I a boy? Uh, you don't look like a boy. No boy. You don't act like a boy. But I just think
00:15:11.100 that a lot of this too has, has become so normalized because we've seen so many, we, there was that
00:15:15.960 other article that we were, I think, are we going to talk about this, about the woman who detransitioned?
00:15:19.820 Yes. Helena. Um, so this is a sub stack that you had found and I read, it's a very long story.
00:15:24.460 It's so long. You guys should go read it. Um, it's, it's very powerful, but the whole time I was
00:15:30.100 reading it, it's basically just a summary of her experience. She, um, found Tumblr as most young
00:15:35.340 teenagers do, do not let your kids go on Tumblr. Before there was TikTok, there was Tumblr. Um, and
00:15:40.480 she tumbled down the wrong rabbit hole. Yeah. Quite literally. And, uh, she was suffering with
00:15:45.760 depression and anxiety. Normal teenage stuff. Yeah. And I mean, she was self-harming and stuff and that
00:15:50.600 was one of the ways she was kind of coping, but she found comfort in this Tumblr community. Um, and then
00:15:55.440 eventually it was kind of more about like gender ideology and critical race theory before that
00:16:00.200 was really coined as a term and all this stuff. And basically this, this group kind of teaches,
00:16:04.560 uh, cisgender white women that they are like the oppressor. Yes. Yeah. Right. Um, so she started
00:16:11.200 to feel like, Oh, well, I guess I don't have enough oppression Olympic brownie points. So I'm going to be
00:16:16.140 trans. That's what I took away from the article was less that she was like, Oh, I'm a man trapped in a
00:16:22.180 woman's body. And more so like, I love my Tumblr community. She was extremely isolated at school.
00:16:26.660 She was isolated from her family. She said her family didn't cope with like communication and
00:16:30.180 pain pain. Well, so that's a problem. Um, and so she found this Tumblr community and she felt like,
00:16:35.200 Oh, I have my people. She said she would Skype with her friends on Tumblr from all over the world.
00:16:38.600 And she had her community. And then she realized like, Oh no, I'm the top oppressor in this hierarchy.
00:16:44.360 And so the easiest way to not no longer be an oppressor and be an, not just an ally is to mutilate your
00:16:50.220 victim. Yeah. Is to start being trans and to say that you were born in the wrong body. And she said,
00:16:55.760 as soon as that happened, she was now praised as a hero and a victim at the same time. And hero,
00:17:01.400 heroism and victimhood are basically the same thing these days. So it's, you know, it's not good.
00:17:08.340 It's scary. And I think it just speaks to the fact that like parents need to be so much more involved
00:17:12.340 in their kids' lives when it comes to like the things they are exposing themselves to on the internet.
00:17:16.520 Um, like, what if, like, what if, you know, she had never had the common sense eventually to
00:17:22.400 detransition? What, like, this is, you're mutilating your body forever. And sometimes that you go too
00:17:27.800 far, you can't go back. And I, I just, I just think this is scary. This is scary. And the fact that
00:17:34.100 she said she was 18 and she went for a single consultation with a doctor and she was prescribed
00:17:39.240 testosterone. Yeah. And she said immediately upon going on testosterone, her mental health
00:17:43.520 deteriorated, like very quickly. That's terrifying. And what about the ethics of all this? Like,
00:17:49.960 we don't know, there aren't really long-term studies about this. And, and how is it ethical
00:17:54.640 or justifiable to literally mutilate perfect young bodies? Like, you know, like you are this,
00:18:00.120 she was healthy. She was young. I know she didn't go as far as other people do, but like,
00:18:03.900 man, these people are, these kids are going to look back one day and if they regret it,
00:18:07.300 who do they blame? Yeah. The people that were supposed to look out for them, the adults,
00:18:10.340 the doctors, the psychologists, you know, like it's insane. Peers even. Yeah. The community,
00:18:15.540 the Tumblr community, but yeah, it's like too many fractured people to blame. Again,
00:18:19.820 I would blame the parents. Me too. First and foremost. I agree. She, in the first, our first
00:18:24.560 paragraph, she was like, my parents didn't communicate or deal with pain and they just
00:18:28.780 kind of pushed it away. So it's like, that's your problem right there. Yeah. And, uh, parents look out,
00:18:35.160 look into what your kids are doing on the internet. Okay. Cause this could be like life
00:18:39.080 ruining. Yeah. It could be life ruining. Yeah, absolutely. But definitely read her full story
00:18:43.180 because it is, it's very powerful. And I think, um, I think it's surprising just how many people
00:18:48.700 have suffered and, and dealt with the same things as her and, and it resulted in them transitioning
00:18:53.940 and then detransitioning. So I just want to read this one little quote from this article. Um,
00:18:58.160 she says, no hardship you could possibly go through could ever be as bad as the prejudice and genocide
00:19:03.300 POC and LGBT people face every day, single, sorry, every single day, insert clap emoji,
00:19:09.980 LGBT people, P L G T. It's an alphabet. The alphabet. Black people and POC can't even walk out of their
00:19:17.560 houses without being murdered by cis het. I don't know what cis het is. Cis het, white people just
00:19:22.740 like you. I butchered that. That's probably us. You get it. The point is, is she was like,
00:19:27.260 so I'm basically a murderer as a cis white woman. So I'm going to become trans so that I'm a victim
00:19:33.880 and a hero and I'm beloved by all. I thought to be classified as a murderer, you had to actually
00:19:39.120 physically murder someone. No, wrong. Okay. You just have to be you. You just have to be you girl.
00:19:44.460 That's what we're teaching kids. That's great. Well, um, that's great. Okay. Let's move on from
00:19:49.800 this. Let's do an ad break. Bitcoin 2022 is the largest Bitcoin event in the world that takes
00:19:55.120 place on April 6th to 9th in Miami Beach, Florida. All four days will be jam packed with exclusive
00:20:00.200 content, exciting announcements, and an incredible lineup of Bitcoin speakers, artists, and leaders.
00:20:06.200 Day one is industry day for enterprising Bitcoiners who are looking to build a business or career within
00:20:11.740 the ecosystem. Days two and three are general conference days featuring speakers like El Salvador
00:20:17.440 President Nayib Bukele, who has promised a big surprise, as well as CEOs like Michael Saylor,
00:20:24.080 Elizabeth Stark, Jack Maulers, Adam Back, and hundreds more. The conference caps off on the
00:20:29.820 fourth day with the world's first and largest Bitcoin music festival, Sound Money Fest.
00:20:36.120 Last year's conference sold out, and this year's is on pace to be three times larger,
00:20:40.240 so make sure you grab your tickets before it's too late. Visit b.tc slash conference to learn more.
00:20:45.580 Pay in Bitcoin to save and use promo code REBELNEWS for 10% off.
00:20:49.280 Yeah, okay. Okay, that was an ad break. Um, so maybe we should, uh, lighten things up with some
00:20:58.560 dating advice. Yeah. Um, I think that would be fun. This is such a fun article. Oh my god. Okay,
00:21:05.600 there's, please, what were you gonna say? Because I, I want to start talking. No, go for it. Okay.
00:21:09.360 Do the damn thing. Um, so, this article says, want to impress your Tinder profile? Sorry, yeah,
00:21:15.600 want to impress your Tinder profile? Does that make sense? No, it doesn't make sense. Want to
00:21:18.740 improve your Tinder profile, maybe. Yeah. Daily Mail. Don't use sexy photos. People with saucy
00:21:23.580 images are more likely to be seen as incompetent and unlikable study reveals. Um, first of all,
00:21:29.020 this is so funny. It says, uh, in the study, the researchers set out to understand whether the
00:21:32.800 photos people include in their dating profiles affect other people's perception of them. Duh.
00:21:37.680 Duh. Of course they do. They had to have a study. Also, it's like a visual medium. It's a visual,
00:21:44.720 yeah. Like, it's literally based. Do you think most people go through and scroll and read any of
00:21:49.040 the crap you write about yourself? No. No, I just want to see your abs. Yeah, I know. It's like,
00:21:53.320 study reveals that what people say on podcasts can affect how people perceive those podcasts. I mean,
00:21:58.400 but to their point, it does kind of make sense. Like, modest is hottest. Like, it's nice to have
00:22:03.540 a little mystery, you know? Keep them guessing. Like, you know, wear your collared shirt, you know?
00:22:08.440 Leave them wanting some more. Yeah. Long sleeves. No. But, you know, like, if all you have is your
00:22:13.400 physical appearance and you put it out there for the whole world to see, like, what else do you have
00:22:16.820 to offer? Like, I want to see a little more personality in your profile, I think. Yes. Yes. You
00:22:20.620 know? Um, also, oh, this is going to be good. This is going to be good. So, there's a quote from the
00:22:25.300 article. Sexualized photos were classified as ones where people posed in revealing clothing or
00:22:30.460 lingerie. Oh. Okay. Made suggestive poses or exposed their breasts. Oh. Okay. That's gross. Genitals
00:22:36.020 or buttocks. Sorry, I'm... Genitals? Yeah. What are you putting your genitals in your profile picture
00:22:42.760 for? If you are doing that, like, you, you suck. That's unsolicited. That is not nice. That is
00:22:48.420 harassment. Keep your junk out of your profile pictures. Keep your junk. Like, you know what? It's a junky
00:22:52.660 app already. We don't need more junk. Like, they had to have a study. The study revealed
00:22:57.200 that don't put your penis in your profile picture. Yeah. And, you know, speaking of a
00:23:01.140 woman who probably posted sexy photos too much. No, I'm just kidding. I don't actually know
00:23:05.280 about her profile habits, but let's show you a clip of a 30-year-old who is extremely sad
00:23:09.640 that she's single and 30. Yeah. This made me sad. It was sad. I might be, you know. No, you're
00:23:16.380 fine. You're perfect. Okay, I'm 16. This is a sad episode. This is a bummer of an episode,
00:23:20.920 you guys. We'll just play the clip if we could. Let's play this. I just had, like, the
00:23:28.460 craziest, saddest thought. This is a conversation I would have with my mother. I'm in the stage
00:23:33.800 of life where I'm watching all my friends get married and have babies and find love. And
00:23:42.140 I had another talking face yet again fall through. And my friend was like, you know, you'll meet
00:23:53.500 the one one day. Don't give up. But now I'm at a point where I hope I don't. Because what
00:24:00.440 happens if I meet him and he wants kids and I'm too old to not be able to give him any?
00:24:05.880 No, that's so sad, dude. So it's easier for me to say I don't want kids.
00:24:09.540 She kind of just says the same stuff. Yeah. This is really sad. Yeah, I think, like, I think
00:24:17.060 it's important to note, though, that, like, marriage and having kids is not a guarantee
00:24:20.320 in life. Like, you're not promised that. That's a privilege, not a right. So I don't think
00:24:26.400 it's right all the time to put so much pressure on yourself when it comes to getting married
00:24:30.420 and having kids because, like, you just don't know where life's going to take you sometimes.
00:24:33.380 Like it's like I said, it's a blessing. And of course, marriage comes with its own setbacks.
00:24:37.560 But and like half of them end up divorced. Yeah. Well, that's that's the thing. So it's
00:24:41.580 like you can you can be part of those lucky people that get married and then end up an
00:24:45.000 unlucky one divorced. So it's like, is that better? Yeah. And I think it just speaks to
00:24:49.440 like being intentional, intentional, intentional in being intentional with your dating habits
00:24:54.000 and your relationships. And I think that's kind of the issue we're seeing with a lot
00:24:58.640 of these women who are single and they're wondering why, you know, it's we've said this
00:25:03.980 before and we'll say it again. It's the culture. It speaks to the culture that we live in where
00:25:07.560 they for the last 10 years, people have probably been telling this gorgeous woman like, oh,
00:25:12.100 don't worry, like party, sleep with whoever you want. Like you'll have plenty of time.
00:25:16.020 And then once you hit your 30s, people are like, oh, you're not married yet. And it's
00:25:18.740 like, whoa, you guys were telling me to just have fun and play the game and don't worry
00:25:23.140 about it. But but now I'm very worried about it. And it's like, yeah, you should have been
00:25:26.380 friggin worried about it this whole time if you really, really wanted kids and women
00:25:30.380 don't they they suffered much worse consequences than men. Men can have lived their life as Peter
00:25:35.860 Pan forever, just like doing it with whoever because they don't have a biological clock that
00:25:40.180 women have. And I just I think it's it's scary that our society is glorified singleness in
00:25:46.640 a way that has just left people really lonely and I think empty. Yeah, because yeah, no, keep
00:25:52.340 going. Well, I was gonna say, like you said, they glorify singlehood. But then does she
00:25:56.760 seem glorious to you? No, she seems like miserable. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, this is again,
00:26:01.640 like I said, like this is a conversation I would have had with my mom, not put it on
00:26:05.660 TikTok. But she says at the end of the video, the reason she's posting it is because she
00:26:08.560 wanted to reach out and see if like other women were experiencing the same thing. And
00:26:11.640 then she does do a follow up. And she was like, I did not expect so many responses. And
00:26:15.760 she's like, that made me so happy. And it's like, I'm happy that she feels elated or like,
00:26:20.080 what's the word I'm looking for? Like a sense of community. Yeah, she feels justified in
00:26:25.340 how she's feeling and not alone. However, speaks to the culture we're living in that
00:26:29.760 so many women are like, Oh, I'm in my 30s, too. And I'm like, I'm kind of in the same
00:26:33.900 position myself. And I'm trying not to be terrified. Like, don't be terrified. You're
00:26:39.400 a girl. Oh, yeah, I'll be fine. But it's just like, we live in this culture where we're
00:26:43.100 like, do whatever you want, live your life. And then you're like, Oh, you're not
00:26:46.580 married. Oh, it's like, what am I supposed to feel as a woman? Yeah, everything
00:26:50.060 has consequences. Every single moment of our lives is a moment of impact. And even
00:26:54.540 if you don't notice that impact right away, like down the line, you're gonna be
00:26:58.220 like, it's gonna hit you in the face. And you're gonna be like, damn, like I should
00:27:01.720 have. Yeah, maybe I should have, you know, not just followed my heart. Or maybe you
00:27:06.540 should have like taken that nice guy more seriously when you were young. And you
00:27:11.560 wanted the bad boy. Like we all know, we've all been in that phase. But I feel like
00:27:15.960 that phase is extended for women. And it's like, Oh, just date that hot bad boy who has
00:27:20.360 no job. It's like, but you want babies, maybe a more responsible mate is better. And
00:27:26.340 like, maybe that's like, to what we were talking about before with your profile, like
00:27:29.720 maybe you taking pictures in your bikini drinking sangria on the beach is like not
00:27:33.800 gonna find you that like, honorable man you're looking for. It's gonna find you a
00:27:37.480 bad boy who thinks you're easy.
00:27:38.840 And I think it's a part of it too, is like our culture is so obsessed with like
00:27:41.780 temporary satisfaction. We don't want to have hard, meaningful conversations. We just
00:27:47.020 want to have sex right now with everybody because it feels good right now. But most
00:27:50.940 people I know who live out their lives like that, they're not happy. They are
00:27:54.860 really miserable. They don't know who they are. They keep wondering why they're
00:27:58.200 single. Like this poor woman who's beautiful. Like she seems like she can put a
00:28:02.880 sentence together. She seems smart. She has access to the internet. She knows how to
00:28:07.140 use TikTok and she's 30. She's living in the first world. She's having a good time. And yet
00:28:11.340 she's so sad and she feels lost and like she doesn't know how to live in this
00:28:15.200 world. And it's like kind of everyone's fault. Yeah. Not ours. No, we're perfect.
00:28:20.120 But you know, just interesting that the feminist movement is kind of, this is
00:28:24.260 stemmed from the feminist movement as well. So it's just, I'm wondering, you know,
00:28:27.260 maybe, maybe feminism was a trap in a way. We could rename the show Feminism?
00:28:31.280 I don't know. Is it good? I don't know. Probably not. I mean, yeah, like obviously
00:28:36.020 suffragettes. Yes, for sure. Like, you know, being able to vote's nice. Yeah, like not being owned by a man.
00:28:40.760 Yeah, it's not the worst. But no, that's great. I love all that. But we've taken it a bit far, ladies.
00:28:45.220 It's gone too far. Yeah. It's, yeah. I said this before. Remember that free the nip movement?
00:28:49.740 No. It failed miserably. We should never free the nip. Put those nips back, ladies. Put them back and date the nerd, okay?
00:28:56.100 Yeah, definitely. Speaking of nerds, just kidding. He's not a nerd. But Channing Tatum, guys, we're going to talk about body image a bit here.
00:29:04.540 Let's talk about some body image. Channing Tatum says achieving his ripped physique from Magic Mike is hard and not natural. You have to starve yourself.
00:29:09.680 Oh, my gosh. He had to eat salad. I'm sorry that the rich actor had to stop eating chips to earn a million dollars to take off his clothes in a movie.
00:29:17.800 Oh, I'm sorry he had to drink eight glasses of water and do shit-ups all day while his friends were out drinking and eating nachos.
00:29:24.040 You know, it's interesting that these celebrities only ever care about how they feel. But what about the image they project on the rest of us?
00:29:30.280 Like, okay, Channing Tatum, you starved yourself for a million dollars. I starve myself. I get nothing.
00:29:34.380 And no one notices. So, like, who the hell are you, dude? Like, I don't feel sorry for you because celebrities are the problem here.
00:29:42.860 They've set these standards. And now we have to try to live up to them. And I, like I said, I don't get paid to do it.
00:29:48.480 Like, I just have to be hungry.
00:29:49.680 Yeah. In the article, he was saying how he couldn't imagine staying fit if he had a nine-to-five.
00:29:55.040 He's like, I have, this is my full-time job and I can't even do it. And we're like, yeah, like, exactly.
00:30:00.300 Yep. And yet, we still project those images on everyone.
00:30:04.520 Yeah.
00:30:04.660 Like, you're doing with the movie. Again, what's wrong with having abs? Like, no.
00:30:09.640 I'm not like, oh, no one should have abs because it produces, like, an unrealistic body image.
00:30:14.080 That's not what I'm saying. But for him to be like, here's my Magic Mike abs. And he's like, oh, it's too hard.
00:30:19.500 It's like, yeah. I mean, I guess it's a good thing that he's saying it, but it's just like, yeah, welcome to my life, Channing.
00:30:24.380 Yeah. And I just think, like, you get paid to starve yourself. You really don't care.
00:30:28.860 Yeah, just shut up and dance.
00:30:30.180 I'm just kidding.
00:30:30.980 Like, if you really had strong convictions about it, then you wouldn't have done the movie.
00:30:35.660 You wouldn't have done the movie.
00:30:36.660 Yeah.
00:30:37.260 And he's doing the Magic Mike 3 also. See you in theaters.
00:30:40.140 Yeah.
00:30:40.500 Wait, I'm not going.
00:30:41.540 No.
00:30:41.860 Oh, maybe not.
00:30:42.480 I'll look at the screenies.
00:30:43.360 Maybe we'll go. We won't. We won't tell you.
00:30:45.240 We'll go, but we'll wear sunglasses and fake mustaches so nobody knows that we're there.
00:30:48.780 Yeah.
00:30:49.100 But, yeah, it's just like, cry me a river, Channing.
00:30:52.360 Yeah.
00:30:53.560 But on other celebrities.
00:30:55.940 Oh, yeah. Body image.
00:30:57.100 Body image. Interesting.
00:30:58.660 Emmy Rossum. Is that how you say her name?
00:31:00.380 I think so.
00:31:01.140 So she's only 10 years.
00:31:01.680 She'll come out in 10 years and say we're all saying it wrong.
00:31:03.780 Oh, yeah, like Lindsay Lohan.
00:31:05.580 Lohan.
00:31:06.000 Lohan. Lindsay, just shut up.
00:31:08.120 But Emmy Rossum is only 10 years older than Tom Holland and has been cast to play his mom
00:31:13.140 in a movie.
00:31:13.480 So I guess, apparently, she's going to be playing the mom in the flashback.
00:31:16.060 Yeah.
00:31:16.320 So it's a clickbait article.
00:31:18.340 But it is interesting because, like, it got me thinking about, like, men like Leonardo
00:31:23.980 DiCaprio who play these, like, puffy, alcoholic dudes in movies.
00:31:27.860 But they're still dating 20-year-olds.
00:31:29.000 Exactly.
00:31:29.520 Like, but also, like, Margot Robbie in The Wolf of Wall Street was his, like, his wife.
00:31:34.520 Yeah.
00:31:34.660 And I'm like, you are not on the same playing field.
00:31:37.400 No, he should be playing her father.
00:31:38.360 Yeah.
00:31:38.620 Like, she's Barbie.
00:31:40.620 So I just, I do think it's kind of interesting to talk about this because, like, men are allowed
00:31:44.620 to be one thing, but women have to be, like, way better and way, way more, you know?
00:31:49.620 And there's just, there is a double standard.
00:31:51.700 Yeah.
00:31:51.840 You basically have to look, and we'll talk about this because we're going to talk about
00:31:55.160 Courtney Cox and a little Botox.
00:31:57.660 But you basically have to be, like, super hot and look 18 until you're old enough to play
00:32:03.100 a grandma.
00:32:03.720 Yeah.
00:32:03.900 Or a mom.
00:32:04.900 It's like, where are those mid-age women allowed to live in Hollywood?
00:32:09.820 They're not.
00:32:10.200 They live at their plastic surgeon's office.
00:32:12.380 Yeah.
00:32:12.580 That's where they are.
00:32:13.620 That's all they do.
00:32:14.300 And that's why their faces are so messed up.
00:32:15.420 Yeah.
00:32:15.680 They're just in hiding for a few years, and then they're like, hello.
00:32:18.380 Yeah.
00:32:18.580 Remember me?
00:32:19.400 Not that men are, you know, free from this pressure.
00:32:22.940 No.
00:32:23.040 Because I, when I was reading this article earlier, I saw that Bradley Cooper at the SAG
00:32:28.820 Awards, or one of the award shows that happened on the weekend, he showed up with,
00:32:32.160 like, a super smoothed out puffy face.
00:32:34.560 And it's like, someone maybe had a little work done.
00:32:37.540 Yeah.
00:32:37.740 I mean, they're not looking so good.
00:32:38.880 So they have the.
00:32:39.700 There's pressure.
00:32:40.240 There's, you know, there's pressure too.
00:32:41.920 It's a human problem.
00:32:43.840 I'd argue less pressure.
00:32:45.220 Yes.
00:32:45.500 I would definitely, I would agree with that.
00:32:47.700 Yeah.
00:32:49.580 But speaking of someone who doesn't cave to the pressure, size 20 model slams haters
00:32:54.720 who criticize her son's diet and doesn't care if he gets fat.
00:32:57.660 Well, that seems like a good mom.
00:32:58.800 Um, so this model is, what's her name?
00:33:02.080 Tessa.
00:33:02.540 Tessa holiday.
00:33:03.780 Tessa holiday.
00:33:04.840 Yes.
00:33:05.160 So she's like an influencer.
00:33:07.020 She has like 2.4 million followers or something.
00:33:09.280 She's a BOPO body positivity kind of activist.
00:33:12.620 And she's, she's all about like, you know, speaking out against anorexia and all that,
00:33:16.400 which is good.
00:33:16.900 Those are good things.
00:33:17.720 But, you know, you know, it doesn't always have to be one extreme or the other test.
00:33:22.060 Tess.
00:33:22.400 She talks about having a healthy relationship with food.
00:33:26.040 My God, that can't be further from the truth.
00:33:28.160 I don't think so.
00:33:29.580 And also like, don't push that on your kid.
00:33:31.480 Like we're talking about bad parenting.
00:33:32.860 This, this falls under that.
00:33:34.120 Like it's your job to help your kid grow up to be a productive and healthy.
00:33:38.180 Yeah.
00:33:38.740 Like person, you know, they, they need to have a healthy relationship with food.
00:33:41.940 Yes.
00:33:42.320 But also like they can't, they shouldn't be allowed to eat whatever the heck they want.
00:33:45.440 When she says that he, she wants her kid to have a healthy relationship with food.
00:33:48.860 I think she doesn't understand what that means.
00:33:50.760 Because like for me, being healthy does not, does not mean thin.
00:33:54.020 For some people being thin is unhealthy.
00:33:56.500 It's like they're not getting enough calories.
00:33:58.160 Their body type is X and they're trying to be Y.
00:34:00.360 You can't shove yourself into a mold.
00:34:01.880 So maybe Tess is heavier than the average woman.
00:34:05.420 Sure.
00:34:05.620 She's bigger boned.
00:34:06.580 For sure.
00:34:07.260 And she carries her weight differently.
00:34:08.480 That's cool.
00:34:09.240 We need all sorts of types of people.
00:34:10.500 I'm glad that she can be a model or whatever.
00:34:12.360 However, the thing that was super messed up about this is she said, um, she doesn't,
00:34:17.140 she wants her kid to not see certain types of food as good and other types as bad.
00:34:22.560 No, it's so, what are you talking about?
00:34:24.920 Like red flag.
00:34:25.500 She's saying like people were mad at her for, uh, having a picture or a video of her eating
00:34:29.940 pop tarts with her son and she's like, I don't want him to think that some foods are good
00:34:33.860 and some are bad.
00:34:34.540 It's like, dude, some pop tarts are bad.
00:34:36.940 That's, that's bad.
00:34:37.560 That's bad.
00:34:38.260 Not only for your like weight and stuff, but your teeth, your mental health.
00:34:43.080 Yeah.
00:34:43.500 Eating just pure sugar.
00:34:45.200 Like nothing in that is good.
00:34:46.580 You're going to get cavities.
00:34:47.160 Like if you want to have some sweets, like there are ways to do that.
00:34:50.160 Yeah.
00:34:50.620 But, but pop tarts, are we living in 1998?
00:34:54.440 I wish.
00:34:55.560 We were free back then.
00:34:56.440 I know.
00:34:56.880 No, but yeah, it's just, I don't know.
00:34:58.580 It's your job to help your kid out, you know, and to teach them these things.
00:35:02.460 And I just think it's a little sketch.
00:35:03.820 And like, like I said, like she does good things.
00:35:06.440 Um, but I just think this is wrong.
00:35:08.420 What if her kid was like, Hey mom, can I have an apple?
00:35:10.840 Do you think, do you think she'd be like, Oh, are you sure you don't want an apple flavored
00:35:13.920 pop tart?
00:35:14.700 Yeah.
00:35:14.900 Like that's don't, like don't eat an apple just cause you think you're, you're going to
00:35:18.180 be skinnier.
00:35:19.080 Like what if he's like, no, I just want some fruit.
00:35:20.680 Yeah.
00:35:20.980 Like just give your kid some fruit and we'll stop talking about you, Tess.
00:35:24.360 Yeah.
00:35:24.860 That's all.
00:35:25.560 Unless you do something else gray.
00:35:27.060 Yeah.
00:35:27.240 Which is probably going to happen.
00:35:28.580 It's, uh, but, uh, speaking of 500 pound bear, I was like, how do we, this is such a beautiful
00:35:36.180 lead up.
00:35:36.860 Yeah.
00:35:37.420 Um, we just wanted to take a quick break and talk about, uh, Hank the tank.
00:35:41.580 Um, so he's a 500 pound bear that breaks into 28 homes looking for food.
00:35:46.040 He's so cute.
00:35:47.440 Honestly, like Tessa holiday.
00:35:49.180 If your kid is as cute as Hank, the tank, then just whatever, do whatever you want.
00:35:53.560 He's so cute.
00:35:54.480 Why is this overweight bear?
00:35:55.820 So charming.
00:35:56.540 I don't know if Tess lives in LA, but I was thinking if he's looking for food, he, you
00:36:01.200 know where to go.
00:36:01.780 Go to Tess's.
00:36:02.420 Go to the holidays.
00:36:03.280 She's got plenty.
00:36:03.740 Her kid doesn't want it.
00:36:04.680 Vacation at the holidays.
00:36:05.840 Yeah.
00:36:07.000 Like look at him.
00:36:07.720 Look at him.
00:36:08.180 He's so cute.
00:36:09.160 Oh my God.
00:36:09.920 He's like, knock, knock.
00:36:11.180 I'm coming in.
00:36:12.780 He's so great.
00:36:13.560 Get the Pop-Tarts ready.
00:36:14.860 The only good thing that's in LA currently.
00:36:17.180 Pop-Tarts would be a great diet for the overweight bear, not for your child.
00:36:20.060 Yeah, I think so.
00:36:20.840 Like just, you know.
00:36:21.540 He needs to survive the winter.
00:36:23.140 He does.
00:36:23.660 Well, not in LA.
00:36:24.600 No.
00:36:25.000 Oh my gosh.
00:36:25.660 He needs to survive the blue policies.
00:36:29.920 The dollar is about to crash.
00:36:31.620 Anyway, back to our regularly scheduled programming.
00:36:35.480 We'd already touch on this briefly, but Courtney Cox candidly admits that her previous cosmetic
00:36:40.180 procedures left her looking really strange, and they did.
00:36:43.000 They did.
00:36:43.440 I love everything about this article.
00:36:45.560 I love that she admits to the pressure she was feeling.
00:36:48.580 She was like, I was, you know, known for being young and beautiful and having a certain
00:36:52.220 look.
00:36:52.440 And then as I was, you know, in my 30s, I started noticing my face change.
00:36:56.680 And she said, and it changed.
00:36:58.100 Oh, it changed.
00:36:58.740 And it happens.
00:36:59.180 But she made it look hecka weird with too much Botox, fillers, whatever you want to
00:37:05.840 call it.
00:37:07.140 And she's now like, you know, obviously she still has Botox and fillers.
00:37:11.400 Oh, for sure.
00:37:12.140 But she's toned it down.
00:37:13.540 She's toned it down.
00:37:14.220 And she has a healthier relationship with her own face.
00:37:18.240 Injectables.
00:37:19.160 Yeah.
00:37:20.160 With her doctor.
00:37:20.940 She's a more balanced approach to injectables.
00:37:23.180 But it's nice to see.
00:37:24.200 And she's talking about it.
00:37:24.880 Yeah.
00:37:25.080 That's what I was just going to say, because we talked about this last week as well.
00:37:27.500 Um, it's just nice to see celebrities come out and say, Hey, there are bad side effects
00:37:33.520 to these things.
00:37:34.300 You can take it too far and you won't look good.
00:37:37.280 Um, so I do think it's really important to keep this conversation going, especially like
00:37:40.800 in the wake of social media, which you talk about all the time.
00:37:42.740 Young women are so impressionable.
00:37:43.920 If I'm seeing these women inject them, their faces, like I'm only 16.
00:37:47.540 So if I see these people constantly having to resort to plastic surgery, I'm going to be
00:37:53.080 like, well, that's my only way of looking hot too.
00:37:55.100 Like when you're 17, you're going to think you look old.
00:37:57.200 Yeah.
00:37:58.380 Because Courtney Cox is 60 and looks 10.
00:38:01.400 Yeah.
00:38:01.720 No, she did not look 10.
00:38:03.220 She looks amazing.
00:38:04.520 Yeah.
00:38:04.660 She's a beautiful woman.
00:38:05.660 And like, we just need to normalize women aging gracefully.
00:38:10.440 That's a tough one.
00:38:11.960 Like, how do you, it's kind of like what we were talking about the other week where people
00:38:17.160 are saying, you know, you should embrace all body types.
00:38:20.440 And it's again, only with women.
00:38:22.140 It's like, yeah, fat women deserve love too.
00:38:24.240 It's like, of course they do, but you can't force a man to think you're hot when he doesn't
00:38:29.960 think you're hot.
00:38:30.540 Yeah.
00:38:30.680 Like if he's like, I like, you can try.
00:38:32.980 It's just like someone who's like, I like big breasted women.
00:38:36.360 It's like, no, you have to like tiny breasted women.
00:38:38.900 It's like, you can't force someone.
00:38:40.200 So like we, how are we supposed to normalize aging faces when we have been like plucked
00:38:45.500 and probed and tightened and stretched for so many years?
00:38:48.060 And we're just going to start sagging.
00:38:49.460 Like, like, oh, I'm going to undo the clip here.
00:38:51.800 Like Kent Brockman in my face is going to.
00:38:53.260 I think that's how it, it's just like a button you press.
00:38:55.120 Yeah.
00:38:55.500 Robots anyway.
00:38:56.520 And then, and then we're just going to be like, men, you better tell us we're young
00:39:00.000 looking still.
00:39:01.020 It's like, that's going to be tough.
00:39:02.060 That's going to be an interesting transition for humanity.
00:39:04.120 But I think it's important that we just embrace our God given features to an extent.
00:39:08.840 And like, I don't, I don't have any issues with Botox or fillers.
00:39:12.140 I actually think do, do what you want to do.
00:39:15.100 Like, yeah, we are definitely going to go.
00:39:17.860 We're just Botox to the gods.
00:39:18.500 We're going to go for sure one day.
00:39:20.160 But no, it is, it's okay.
00:39:22.340 Like do what you want with your body to an extent, but like we have to, we have to ease
00:39:27.540 the pressure on people.
00:39:28.560 At least we should be talking openly about it.
00:39:30.480 Exactly.
00:39:30.700 I think people should be like, what did you do on the weekends?
00:39:33.060 Like, oh, I slept a little bit.
00:39:34.200 I went to the beach and I got some Botox instead of being like, oh, I just drank, you know,
00:39:37.740 a lot of water, rest.
00:39:39.500 Like I'm so sick of people lying about their procedures.
00:39:42.520 Just be like, I got some Tox.
00:39:43.940 I know your butt is fake, Kim.
00:39:44.860 Yeah, Kim.
00:39:45.920 Your butt's fake.
00:39:46.940 It's huge and it's fake.
00:39:47.880 Just admit it.
00:39:48.740 But no, you're right.
00:39:49.680 And I think it's important to keep the conversation going.
00:39:51.360 That's why we talk about plastic surgery so much.
00:39:54.660 One day we're going to just swap faces.
00:39:56.740 Yeah, I was going to say, we talk about it so much because we can't actually afford to
00:40:00.620 get it ourselves.
00:40:01.220 We're going to get rich enough so that I can have Nat's face.
00:40:03.260 And I will, we're going to just do a switch.
00:40:05.520 We're going to do a swap.
00:40:06.100 It's going to look good.
00:40:07.320 So stay tuned for that.
00:40:08.600 Physical, not the app.
00:40:10.020 Not like on Snapchat.
00:40:11.280 Like we're going to cut each other's faces up.
00:40:12.860 Yeah.
00:40:13.460 So stay tuned for that.
00:40:14.580 We'll do a live stream.
00:40:16.940 Speaking of things that are cut up, a little too short.
00:40:20.300 This itsy bitsy micro skirt that's everywhere you look, Miu Miu's 650 pound thigh skimmer
00:40:27.260 takes over magazine covers and red carpets.
00:40:29.740 But would you be daring enough to rock it?
00:40:31.900 First of all, that is way too much for that amount of fabric.
00:40:34.520 Yeah.
00:40:34.660 What?
00:40:35.740 Where is the skirt?
00:40:37.660 Where's the skirt?
00:40:38.680 I see.
00:40:39.160 Well, I would wear that as a belt over an actual skirt.
00:40:42.540 I would wear it as like a face shield.
00:40:44.400 I was going to say like, it could be a nice eye mask for if you're traveling.
00:40:47.100 Yeah.
00:40:47.300 Like you're trying to sleep on a plane or something.
00:40:49.100 Oh, you need to wear your hair.
00:40:50.220 Like you're washing your face and you want to keep your hair out of your face.
00:40:53.260 It's like a McDonald's visor or something.
00:40:55.280 Yeah.
00:40:55.600 Or like, or like a queen's collar.
00:40:57.780 Oh, that could be cute.
00:40:58.700 Yeah.
00:40:58.860 Like a Berlin or something.
00:40:59.960 I like that.
00:41:01.140 My biggest question is the question of the hour is how the heck do you sit down in this
00:41:06.060 thing?
00:41:06.240 It's so short.
00:41:06.960 And also we should talk about Nicole Kidman.
00:41:08.880 Nicole.
00:41:09.560 Nicole, you are way too old to be dressing like this.
00:41:11.520 Are you an 18 year old trans boy?
00:41:13.140 But also, isn't it kind of creepy?
00:41:15.080 It's like over sexualizing like a toddler almost.
00:41:18.020 Like it looks like a child.
00:41:19.720 And she's like 60 something.
00:41:21.620 That's what I mean.
00:41:22.420 It's kind of creepy.
00:41:23.580 This is just like the freaking Courtney Cox thing.
00:41:26.060 It's like, why are you trying to look 18 in your 50s or 60s?
00:41:29.680 But it's not even 18.
00:41:30.660 They try to look younger than 18.
00:41:32.440 And the face she's making.
00:41:33.660 Exactly.
00:41:34.240 It's creepy.
00:41:34.540 I just find it creepy.
00:41:35.500 And it's like, we should not be normalizing looking like, you know, not legal.
00:41:39.640 Like we shouldn't be normalizing wanting to look like a minor.
00:41:43.420 Okay.
00:41:43.740 This is good.
00:41:44.320 The Christina Aguilera.
00:41:45.620 Yeah, the worst.
00:41:46.420 This is what it reminded me of.
00:41:48.000 Like a really horrible time in fashion.
00:41:50.000 Yeah.
00:41:50.240 That is now apparently coming back.
00:41:52.920 And, you know, and of course next week we'll be coming to record our show wearing this outfit.
00:41:57.760 But like.
00:41:58.920 Obviously.
00:41:59.520 But you won't like it.
00:42:01.020 And we won't be able to sit.
00:42:02.640 So we're going to just have to stand.
00:42:03.860 Yeah.
00:42:04.600 But yeah, it's just gross.
00:42:06.080 It's gross.
00:42:06.680 I don't like it.
00:42:07.040 And also the under boob.
00:42:08.660 Yeah, I don't like the under boob.
00:42:09.960 Can we stop?
00:42:10.500 Like that's not safe for work.
00:42:11.740 Can we just stop?
00:42:12.920 We should stop.
00:42:13.260 Can we just wear shirts?
00:42:14.700 Can we just cover ourselves?
00:42:16.040 Like I said, modest is hottest.
00:42:17.840 I think it's nice to just like keep them guessing.
00:42:20.160 You know, ladies?
00:42:21.440 Yeah, I like that.
00:42:22.300 Keep them guessing.
00:42:23.040 Obviously, you can take that too far too.
00:42:25.600 Oh, yeah.
00:42:26.140 Like don't wear like a tent coat that we saw.
00:42:29.520 Or like a full.
00:42:30.980 Yeah, you know.
00:42:32.000 I'm not saying that.
00:42:32.460 You know, everything in life is about balance.
00:42:34.000 Yeah.
00:42:34.340 Yeah, I think so.
00:42:35.700 Yeah.
00:42:36.380 It's just stuff.
00:42:37.060 It's not even a nice skirt.
00:42:38.540 It's not nice and it's way too expensive.
00:42:40.460 It just looks like a nice skirt that was chopped up.
00:42:42.300 Yeah.
00:42:42.620 Yeah.
00:42:42.920 I'll have the full length, please.
00:42:44.260 Yeah.
00:42:44.580 Or we could just make our own, I guess.
00:42:46.520 Save a few bucks.
00:42:47.500 Yeah, I have a belt.
00:42:48.300 Okay, cool.
00:42:49.040 Just wear a belt as a skirt.
00:42:50.800 Uh-oh.
00:42:51.260 So here's more fashion.
00:42:52.760 Kim Kardashian, Julia Fox.
00:42:54.120 The best celeb street style for Milan Fashion Week 2022.
00:42:58.660 We're doing the SAG Awards.
00:42:59.620 We're doing the SAG Awards instead.
00:43:01.760 All righty.
00:43:04.340 The 2022 SAG Award Fashion Looks represents ultimate glamour.
00:43:09.400 So we're going to show you some of these looks.
00:43:11.580 So what?
00:43:12.000 This happened over the weekend, I think, right?
00:43:13.640 Yes.
00:43:13.960 Yeah.
00:43:14.300 You sent this wonderful article.
00:43:15.820 They're the Smiths.
00:43:17.280 The Smiths.
00:43:18.260 Jada and William Smith.
00:43:20.300 So they...
00:43:21.020 Their Royal Highnesses.
00:43:22.080 Do we see glamour?
00:43:23.220 I do.
00:43:23.860 Yeah, I see some glamour.
00:43:24.640 I don't like the color scheme, though.
00:43:26.120 It's like navy blue.
00:43:27.600 They kind of blend into the SAG thing, which, you know, could have been avoided.
00:43:30.800 But I see some glamour.
00:43:32.180 I do.
00:43:32.480 I see she shaved her head.
00:43:33.520 Yeah.
00:43:33.860 No comment.
00:43:34.420 That's glamour.
00:43:34.860 Yeah.
00:43:35.920 Okay.
00:43:36.840 Who's this now?
00:43:37.940 I can't read anything from here.
00:43:40.420 This is a problem.
00:43:41.820 Is that Sophie Turner?
00:43:43.020 No, that's Jessica Chastain.
00:43:44.760 See?
00:43:45.140 All gingers just look the same, I guess.
00:43:46.800 They do.
00:43:47.480 She looks cute.
00:43:48.580 They're beautiful.
00:43:49.180 But it looks like, you know, in that Hilary Duff movie when she goes to Rome, it looks like
00:43:53.540 the final dress that she wears.
00:43:55.440 Oh, my God.
00:43:55.820 That's hilarious.
00:43:56.180 And she rips off the skirt.
00:43:57.200 Yeah.
00:43:57.320 And she's like, this is what dreams are made of.
00:43:58.700 That's what it looks like.
00:43:59.400 Was she wearing pants under the skirt?
00:44:00.460 Yeah.
00:44:00.960 Oh.
00:44:02.220 This is Naomi Watts.
00:44:03.360 This is Naomi Watts.
00:44:03.440 Well, she hasn't aged a day.
00:44:05.440 No.
00:44:05.800 I wonder what's in her face.
00:44:07.300 I don't know.
00:44:07.740 But her Botox guy is doing a lot better of a job than Courtney's old one.
00:44:11.840 Yeah.
00:44:12.040 That's all I'm going to say.
00:44:12.720 We should all be calling this man.
00:44:13.620 This dress is boring.
00:44:14.840 It's all right.
00:44:15.380 I'm bored.
00:44:15.760 It's whatever.
00:44:16.760 Nicole Kidman.
00:44:17.520 Oh, she doesn't look like a 10-year-old.
00:44:19.460 That's refreshing.
00:44:20.420 I bet if we were, like, really zoomed in, we would see some lines, which would just be
00:44:24.780 atrocious.
00:44:25.760 How dare she have a face?
00:44:26.980 She's trying to dress like a nun.
00:44:29.120 Yeah.
00:44:29.720 I wonder if Mew Mew did this dress, too.
00:44:31.560 It kind of looks like that dress.
00:44:32.520 It does.
00:44:32.960 It's nicer.
00:44:33.520 That we saw earlier.
00:44:34.240 I don't mind it.
00:44:35.140 Yeah.
00:44:35.320 It's simple.
00:44:36.300 It's all right.
00:44:36.880 She looks all right.
00:44:37.600 She finally looks her age.
00:44:38.600 It's refreshing.
00:44:39.460 Jennifer Hudson.
00:44:40.620 Oh, cute.
00:44:41.020 Oh, that's pretty.
00:44:42.120 She's cute.
00:44:42.920 Yeah, that's really pretty.
00:44:43.760 Yeah, she's feminine.
00:44:45.580 It's pink.
00:44:46.220 It's flattering.
00:44:46.920 It's got flowers.
00:44:47.540 It's, like, not too revealing.
00:44:49.420 Yeah.
00:44:49.520 It's, like, it's good vibes.
00:44:51.200 That's good vibes.
00:44:51.640 I like that.
00:44:52.160 Me, too.
00:44:52.580 It's really pretty.
00:44:53.540 Reese.
00:44:53.720 Reese Witherspoon.
00:44:54.300 This is bad.
00:44:55.080 Ugh.
00:44:55.560 A sash around your waist, Reese?
00:44:57.680 You know, it looks like the mean girl's dress that she can't fit into, Regina George can't
00:45:01.920 fit into at the end, because she's been eating those calteen bars.
00:45:05.660 It looks like a mustache.
00:45:07.400 That's the classic mustache neckline.
00:45:09.200 I don't like it.
00:45:09.800 I would trip on that sash, for sure.
00:45:11.740 And the colors?
00:45:12.620 No.
00:45:12.820 It's boring.
00:45:13.420 Make me that dress in just the sash.
00:45:15.240 Yeah.
00:45:15.620 Like, give me that dress.
00:45:17.180 Yeah.
00:45:17.660 All right.
00:45:18.140 I agree.
00:45:18.780 Lady Gaga.
00:45:19.660 So, Lady Gaga, speaking of face implants.
00:45:23.120 Oh, yeah.
00:45:23.600 This woman's face has never looked the same day to day.
00:45:26.380 Like, if you want to, and I probably do this with the magic of editing, but if you want
00:45:29.840 to look at Lady Gaga's face, like, 10 years ago versus this one now, this is, like,
00:45:33.420 her Asian great-granddaughter.
00:45:35.380 Like, this is not the same person.
00:45:36.680 No.
00:45:36.900 She just completely stretched out.
00:45:39.020 It's not cute, lady.
00:45:40.080 It's not cute.
00:45:40.660 And she is the one who, didn't she used to call her tribe of, like, fans, like, her
00:45:44.900 little monsters, like, her little freaks or whatever.
00:45:46.560 Yeah.
00:45:46.620 And she's like, be yourself.
00:45:47.660 Be authentic.
00:45:48.320 Like, non-conformity.
00:45:49.420 Yeah.
00:45:49.640 So, you got a nose job.
00:45:50.560 You got lip injections.
00:45:51.360 You got a facelift.
00:45:52.120 You got Botox.
00:45:52.740 Like, you dyed your hair blonde.
00:45:54.200 Like, you did all the things.
00:45:55.540 You are the conformist.
00:45:56.200 You are the biggest conformist on the planet, so.
00:45:58.660 But, you know what?
00:45:59.620 It's all right.
00:46:00.380 We're pretty used to all you celebs.
00:46:01.560 It's better than the meat dress, though.
00:46:02.860 Not practicing what you preach on me is better than that.
00:46:05.240 Although, if you're hungry and you got, like, a hot plate, you could just sizzle that baby.
00:46:09.840 I don't know.
00:46:10.520 The dress was okay, though.
00:46:11.960 Yeah.
00:46:12.280 Not the meat dress.
00:46:13.100 Yeah, yeah.
00:46:13.540 That dress was okay.
00:46:14.860 Who is this?
00:46:15.360 This is Rosario.
00:46:16.400 Oh, yeah.
00:46:17.020 She's beautiful.
00:46:17.800 She is beautiful.
00:46:18.660 This is a boring dress.
00:46:19.700 I can't even see what's going on with the dress.
00:46:20.380 I can't even see it.
00:46:21.200 Is she pregnant, maybe?
00:46:22.260 She looks, oh.
00:46:23.220 It's cute if she's pregnant.
00:46:24.440 It's cute if she's pregnant.
00:46:25.400 If we're wrong, we're sorry, Rosie.
00:46:27.680 Yeah, we're not trying to body shame you.
00:46:28.880 It was just hard to tell with a dark background.
00:46:31.600 Cate Blanchett.
00:46:32.680 Again.
00:46:33.600 Isn't she, like, supposed to be elderly now?
00:46:35.900 Yeah, like, she doesn't dress her age.
00:46:38.200 And she hasn't aged at all.
00:46:39.160 And I don't mean that in that you can't be sexy and be, like, 60.
00:46:42.200 It's just confusing because she's, like, she has been a hot, like, classy lady for, like, 20 years.
00:46:48.320 Yeah, like, just own that.
00:46:49.920 I mean, I guess she is because it's working.
00:46:52.740 She doesn't look messed up.
00:46:53.860 Like, I don't think she looks like.
00:46:54.900 No.
00:46:55.420 It's just, it's confusing to me how she hasn't.
00:46:57.700 Like, Lord of the Rings came out over 10 years ago.
00:47:00.580 No, I think it's been 20.
00:47:01.600 20 years, right?
00:47:02.400 Yeah.
00:47:02.860 Dude, I'm bad at math.
00:47:03.720 Me too.
00:47:03.960 But it's, like, she's older than that.
00:47:05.500 And that's, you know, very confusing.
00:47:08.080 I look older than her now.
00:47:09.540 And I was, like, a newborn baby when that came out.
00:47:12.520 You don't look older than her, but yeah.
00:47:13.820 Selena.
00:47:14.400 Yeah, I love this.
00:47:15.160 Yeah, that's actually really cute.
00:47:15.840 She looks cute.
00:47:16.620 I mean, obviously, you're a fan of the big.
00:47:18.060 Yeah, I love puffy sleeves.
00:47:20.200 But she looks very elegant.
00:47:21.500 She looks beautiful.
00:47:22.560 Yeah, I'm loving it.
00:47:23.380 I love the vibes.
00:47:24.120 I love the silhouette, yeah.
00:47:24.780 It's very flattering.
00:47:26.100 It's very classy.
00:47:27.580 And I love that.
00:47:28.280 Is that, like, a skin line?
00:47:30.340 I think so.
00:47:31.040 I like that.
00:47:31.660 Me too.
00:47:31.940 It's a little, like, ooh.
00:47:33.720 It's a little risque.
00:47:34.660 Yeah.
00:47:35.100 It's not giving it all up.
00:47:36.940 No, it's not.
00:47:37.540 On the first date, you know?
00:47:38.800 I like that a lot.
00:47:40.280 Selma.
00:47:40.840 Again, how are you still hot?
00:47:42.880 I don't know.
00:47:43.140 It's very confusing.
00:47:44.060 Yeah, she's, her face is, like, flawless.
00:47:46.900 This is, uh.
00:47:47.740 I don't like this.
00:47:48.460 It's not flattering.
00:47:49.200 I don't, no.
00:47:50.700 She's, no.
00:47:51.440 I don't like this.
00:47:52.120 No.
00:47:52.440 And the gloves?
00:47:54.920 Gloves are back.
00:47:55.600 Are they?
00:47:56.720 Yeah, they're back.
00:47:57.220 But that's no good.
00:47:58.140 I know.
00:47:58.440 That's very 80s.
00:47:59.380 Yeah, it's not working for me.
00:48:00.840 No.
00:48:01.120 This is Haley Steinfeld.
00:48:02.960 Is that how you say it?
00:48:03.600 Yeah.
00:48:04.280 All right, this is okay.
00:48:05.020 This is, like, a worse version of Selena's dress.
00:48:06.900 Yeah, I don't like it.
00:48:08.040 Her hair looks greasy.
00:48:09.120 Is that just me?
00:48:09.700 It's the gel, yeah.
00:48:10.480 I don't like it.
00:48:11.020 I don't like that little strip.
00:48:12.400 Me too.
00:48:12.780 It's not working for me, Haley.
00:48:13.900 It just looks like a bra.
00:48:15.200 Yeah.
00:48:15.540 With a skirt.
00:48:16.600 Yeah, I don't love it.
00:48:17.240 Like, girls, when I was at Western, used to dress like that to the bar.
00:48:19.880 Okay, well.
00:48:20.560 Yeah.
00:48:20.820 You.
00:48:21.320 Sad.
00:48:21.560 She has way more money than those girls, so she should be ashamed of herself.
00:48:24.300 This is highly sexual.
00:48:26.540 Vanessa Hudgens.
00:48:27.740 This looks very much like Selma's dress, but, like, this is, like, Selma's was, like,
00:48:31.580 the mother of this dress.
00:48:32.900 Yeah.
00:48:33.380 This is, this is sexy.
00:48:35.360 It's sexy, but, like, also, I don't know.
00:48:38.420 I don't know.
00:48:39.120 I don't like, I don't like it.
00:48:40.420 Something looks off.
00:48:41.280 I feel like it would be really pretty if it was strapless and, like, a little higher.
00:48:45.400 Yeah, and I think the slit needs to not be so hot.
00:48:48.660 I don't mind the slit.
00:48:49.940 I just feel like you have boob and you have slit.
00:48:52.040 It's too much.
00:48:52.680 Yeah.
00:48:52.860 Like, give me, like, a nice, or, like, one of those, like, shoulder something.
00:48:56.560 Yeah, I agree.
00:48:57.200 Scoop neck.
00:48:57.520 It's just not, it's not perfect.
00:48:58.960 You're almost there, though.
00:48:59.980 She's so beautiful.
00:49:01.040 She's very beautiful.
00:49:01.640 Like, her face is just perfect.
00:49:02.720 Yeah.
00:49:03.240 Carrie Washington.
00:49:04.620 This is cool.
00:49:05.340 I like this.
00:49:06.000 Me too.
00:49:06.400 This looks like what the drag queen Simone was wearing at New York Fashion Week the other
00:49:11.100 week.
00:49:11.240 Yeah, I really like this.
00:49:11.700 Like, that's actually really cool.
00:49:12.760 I'm loving the neon.
00:49:13.800 I think it's good.
00:49:14.620 I think it's good vibes.
00:49:15.180 And I love the big, puffy dresses.
00:49:17.820 Me too.
00:49:18.180 Like, why is your wedding day the only day you can wear a giant gown?
00:49:21.840 It shouldn't be.
00:49:22.120 It should not be.
00:49:22.720 Every day should be a puffy dress.
00:49:23.320 We should be wearing gowns all the time.
00:49:24.620 Yeah, I agree.
00:49:24.940 I think you should dye your wedding gown neon.
00:49:27.280 I'm just going to wear it to work next week.
00:49:29.540 I think the theme is just wear a giant, vibrant-colored gown and we'll love it.
00:49:33.960 Puffy gown, yeah.
00:49:34.240 I think that we are, we have a type.
00:49:36.860 Yeah, we have a type.
00:49:37.500 And we discriminate against all other types.
00:49:39.460 Yes.
00:49:39.680 So.
00:49:40.900 Okay.
00:49:41.340 Well, let's move on.
00:49:42.500 That was fun.
00:49:43.180 That was fun.
00:49:44.160 All right, guys.
00:49:44.720 So we're going to try something new now.
00:49:46.380 We're going to do a rapid-fire session where we just read headlines and offer one quick snide remark each.
00:49:52.960 We're calling it the Blitz, which is actually really terrible because of, that's what they called the bombing of London.
00:49:58.540 Yeah, okay.
00:49:59.360 Well, in the theme of war, we're going to be having a Blitz, a misunderstood Blitz.
00:50:04.960 So we're going to start.
00:50:06.060 I need to find my notes.
00:50:06.860 I have the wrong papers.
00:50:08.240 I printed this four times.
00:50:10.300 So, okay, I got it.
00:50:11.720 This is all staying in.
00:50:13.680 Okay.
00:50:14.380 Okay.
00:50:14.560 So, first one, rumor has it that Taylor Swift and Joel Alwyn are engaged after five years together.
00:50:20.540 Why are they screaming their love for the mountaintops?
00:50:22.560 Like, there should be an album about this.
00:50:23.860 We've been waiting for decades for this.
00:50:25.440 I thought, like, the rumor came out when they first started dating that they got engaged or when Lover came out, right?
00:50:30.340 No, after Willow, the song Willow came out from Evermore.
00:50:34.000 No, but it was actually Lover because there's a song on Lover, the one that's, um...
00:50:39.080 I don't know.
00:50:39.480 Lover.
00:50:39.940 Okay.
00:50:40.340 It's Lover.
00:50:41.260 It's like...
00:50:41.620 Makes sense?
00:50:41.960 It's kind of like a...
00:50:42.640 It has like a wedding-y theme.
00:50:44.060 And I just wanted to say that for Taylor Swift to have been in a relationship for five years...
00:50:50.400 That's a big feat.
00:50:51.500 She's basically married.
00:50:52.540 This is a huge feat, Taylor.
00:50:54.000 My congratulations to the couple.
00:50:55.420 Yeah.
00:50:55.880 We will not be sending a gift, though.
00:50:56.900 I was kidding.
00:50:57.340 That's what I wrote.
00:50:57.980 We will not be sending a gift.
00:50:59.260 Oh, that's funny.
00:51:00.960 Great mind.
00:51:01.480 All right.
00:51:01.620 We're done.
00:51:03.180 Okay.
00:51:03.560 Next one.
00:51:04.100 Melissa McCarthy had the best response for Lizzo after she got cast as Ursula in The Little Mermaid.
00:51:09.000 So, what do we think about that?
00:51:10.760 Melissa's going to do a fine job.
00:51:12.520 Yeah.
00:51:12.860 So, apparently, Lizzo is like, I wanted that role.
00:51:16.920 And then Melissa's like, well, then why did they give it to me?
00:51:19.040 But she was just being silly.
00:51:19.940 Like, they're funny.
00:51:21.320 They're tight.
00:51:21.980 But I would just like to say, I'd like to nominate myself to play hot Ursula.
00:51:25.500 Yeah.
00:51:26.040 Okay.
00:51:26.380 And I would like to play the role of Flounder.
00:51:28.580 Amazing.
00:51:29.120 Because I just, I think it was the vibe.
00:51:30.920 Call us.
00:51:31.560 Go.
00:51:31.900 So, let us know.
00:51:33.400 Kim Kardashian's fleet of cars cost over $100,000 in custom work because the stars are just like us.
00:51:39.120 So, that's great.
00:51:40.280 I would like to ask her about the engines of those cars.
00:51:45.240 She knows, I'm sure.
00:51:46.380 Yeah, she would definitely know.
00:51:47.160 She doesn't even know what's going on under her own hood, let alone their cars.
00:51:50.600 Yeah.
00:51:51.960 All righty.
00:51:52.840 Large corporations scoop up relief money designed for small businesses.
00:51:57.420 Everything that Justin Trudeau touches turns to poop.
00:52:00.660 I think that's really all there is to say.
00:52:03.180 All I have is he's a government for the people, folks.
00:52:05.600 The little guy.
00:52:06.400 He's looking out for you.
00:52:07.620 Yeah.
00:52:08.060 Great.
00:52:08.600 Moving on.
00:52:09.060 Scarlett Johansson's new skincare line has sparked a debate about the oversaturation of celebrity beauty brands weeks after Kylie Jenner was called out for recycling her products.
00:52:17.660 Okay.
00:52:17.920 Again, I thought that that was old news that Kylie Jenner recycles her products.
00:52:21.220 Yeah.
00:52:21.400 I don't know.
00:52:21.960 Whatever.
00:52:22.220 I want to see celebrities only use the products they try to sell us for like a month or something to see how their skin actually looks.
00:52:29.080 And no secret appointments to your dermatologist, girl.
00:52:31.520 No, no.
00:52:31.760 Like, I want to see.
00:52:32.700 Just the hyaluronic acid serum.
00:52:34.600 Yeah.
00:52:34.860 No Botox.
00:52:35.720 I would also like to list the names here.
00:52:37.760 This is just the celebrities who have started their own beauty brands in the last one or two years.
00:52:42.680 Yeah, so there's, so Scarlett has been added to the list of A-listers who have opened up their own beauty brands, including Harry Styles.
00:52:49.340 Why?
00:52:49.740 Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Machine Gun Kelly.
00:52:53.400 What?
00:52:53.740 Ellen DeGeneres, Hailey Bieber, Jennifer Aniston, Billie Eilish, Addison Rae, and Priyanka Chopra Jones.
00:52:59.520 Couldn't you guys do a collab?
00:53:01.200 Like, just collab.
00:53:02.220 Oh, my God.
00:53:02.720 Like, the market is oversaturated.
00:53:04.740 And you know what?
00:53:05.280 It feels, if it feels like, like, to me, it feels like rich people just directly grabbing money out of your wallet and putting it in their own wallets.
00:53:12.280 Like, baby, don't do that.
00:53:15.360 I agree.
00:53:15.940 And I think, like, the real celebs' skincare drop would be if they just, like, paid to drop us off at their dermatologist.
00:53:21.680 Yes.
00:53:22.200 Do a giveaway.
00:53:23.160 Do a giveaway.
00:53:23.640 Give me your dermatologist.
00:53:24.800 For, like, a year.
00:53:26.620 Yeah.
00:53:27.080 Or forever.
00:53:28.020 Moving on.
00:53:28.760 I think we're done.
00:53:29.380 Is that it?
00:53:29.540 Ryan Reynolds says he and Blake Lively are deeply and unreservedly sorry for getting married on a plantation.
00:53:36.100 First of all, never apologize to the mob.
00:53:37.480 And also, Blake does a lot to spread awareness about human trafficking.
00:53:41.360 So, that's modern-day slavery, y'all.
00:53:43.800 Yeah.
00:53:43.840 So, maybe cut her a little slack.
00:53:45.100 I had a note about this.
00:53:46.460 She wrote on her another Instagram.
00:53:49.660 So, apparently, they've already apologized because they got married in, like, 20.
00:53:53.500 Ages ago.
00:53:54.100 Yeah.
00:53:54.340 Whatever.
00:53:54.740 It's history.
00:53:55.360 It's ancient history.
00:53:56.380 So, she wrote, recently, again, it was a giant bleeping mistake that can either cause you to shut down or it can reframe things and move you into action.
00:54:05.400 It's like, Blake, are you going to go back in time and end slavery earlier?
00:54:10.020 You can't.
00:54:10.580 What are you so sorry about?
00:54:12.720 Like, how many people have had events at plantations is obviously, like, a hideous history.
00:54:18.420 Just staying on history.
00:54:18.780 So, why are they still there?
00:54:20.280 Yeah.
00:54:20.520 Like, are we allowed to look at them at the buildings and learn about the history?
00:54:23.400 Or should we?
00:54:23.960 I get it.
00:54:24.380 Like, don't have a wedding there.
00:54:25.540 But, like, the venue should be the one in trouble.
00:54:28.740 Yeah.
00:54:29.340 They took the money.
00:54:30.400 I agree.
00:54:30.900 I agree.
00:54:31.220 I agree.
00:54:31.420 And also, like, we just.
00:54:32.840 All you can do is worry about how you are moving forward.
00:54:35.900 Yeah.
00:54:35.980 Like, we can't really change the past.
00:54:37.400 So, all we can do is learn from our mistakes and just try to be better today and tomorrow.
00:54:41.220 I feel like they have a timer on their phone.
00:54:43.200 So, it's like every two years, apologize for the wedding.
00:54:45.240 To stay relevant again.
00:54:46.400 They should get divorced.
00:54:48.000 And then remarried at a Planned Parenthood.
00:54:50.620 That would.
00:54:51.540 Okay.
00:54:52.040 Wow.
00:54:52.760 Well, that's interesting.
00:54:53.840 All right.
00:54:54.360 Maybe on that note, we're going to end things.
00:54:56.400 If you're still listening, thank you so much.
