00:00:00.000 Hello and welcome to Misunderstood, a show for all you culturally and politically misunderstood
00:00:12.920 ladies or gents. We are your hosts. I'm Kat. And I'm Nat. And today we'll be covering an
00:00:18.600 array of topics ranging from Rory Gilmore being a bad person all the way to Leah Thomas,
00:00:25.640 everyone's favorite trans swimmer and much more in between. So be sure to watch the full
00:00:30.500 episode. First, we're going to start things off with our patented culture shock moment of the week.
00:00:35.680 Take it away, Kat. Okay. So apparently people need to be coddled into spending time with other humans
00:00:42.900 in public again. As vaccine mandates start to lift, people are having a hard time knowing how to
00:00:49.040 interact with another human being. So I would just like to say I'm embarrassed that we are the same
00:00:55.040 species. I hung out with people since day one of the pandemic, like literally did not socially
00:01:02.740 distance or isolate once. So I know how many times did you die? Um, well, I don't know. I'm still here
00:01:08.500 now. So I don't know. But we got like, this is insane. It's insane. It's insane. Y'all. So was
00:01:14.180 this a blog to your article? Of course it was. Of course it's a blog to your re-socialization hour
00:01:19.820 in Toronto to teach you how to interact with humans. You know, this is just this bars way of getting them
00:01:24.780 to buy flights and hang out with each other. Like it's a pretty smart marketing tactic, I suppose.
00:01:28.860 Yeah. But come on, like, even if you did actually isolate the whole time, you work, you have family,
00:01:36.240 friends, a dog, you could have talked to them. No, that would be unsafe. Critically unsafe.
00:01:41.980 Dangerous really is what I would say. I did hear you could get COVID through your phone.
00:01:46.480 I what? Through your phone. You could get COVID. I'm kidding. I made that up.
00:01:50.240 I'm just starting things off with some misinformation, folks. Yeah. Well, you can
00:01:55.220 get other, other like mental illnesses through your phone. That's true. Yeah. That's true. And
00:01:59.820 we'll talk about those. The culture shock is that y'all don't know how to interact with each other
00:02:03.760 anymore. So go buy a beer flight, go hang out with some humans. I feel like people who watch this show
00:02:09.920 probably know how to interact with humans. Yeah. And you know, if you don't just wing it,
00:02:14.620 that's what we're doing. Yeah. We wing it. We wing it. All right. Chicken wing it.
00:02:18.740 I think that was shocking enough. Should we talk about some, uh, fertility and health issues that
00:02:23.760 are love talking about fertility? I mean, who doesn't love being fertile? Um, but some people
00:02:30.240 are kind of unable to potentially reproduce due to a rise in pasteurized dairy vegan is
00:02:36.820 and veganism. So, um, you guys know, we love Evie. Evie's great. All about women. Whoop whoop. But
00:02:43.580 this, uh, this article is a little sad. Yeah. So one thing that stuck out to me was, uh,
00:02:48.480 veganism has risen 600%. Yeah. Over the past seven years. And apparently 51% of adults in the U.S.
00:02:56.520 are now struggling with a chronic illness. And that's like higher than ever. Like that's like,
00:02:59.940 that's, we've never seen that in our society before. I'm wondering if half of those people
00:03:03.940 are just pretending to have chronic illnesses so they can get like mask, like mask exemptions.
00:03:08.640 Maybe. I'm just like, Oh yeah, I have a chronic illness too that I forgot about.
00:03:13.780 Yeah. You know, maybe that's true. Maybe some of it is a bit of like Munchausen.
00:03:16.820 That's just a little joke. Probably not. But yeah. Let's, let's take it. Let's take it verbatim.
00:03:21.920 But I mean, it makes sense though. We're designed to eat animals. We've been eating animal byproducts
00:03:28.120 for like a bajillion years. Like it's, it makes sense that, you know, a diet that doesn't offer you
00:03:33.260 all the nutrients you're supposed to be getting would impact something like fertility. I mean,
00:03:37.380 think of your period, like anything can whack that up. Oh yeah. Anything. Sleep, alcohol,
00:03:43.260 all of the things. Stress. This is upsetting. So it says that the modern American diet consists
00:03:48.880 mainly of corn, wheat, and soy, which that's American diet. So here in Canada, we know that
00:03:56.200 our, our diets mainly consist of cheese curds, gravy, and French fries. I had that for breakfast.
00:04:02.540 So we should be fine. Obviously. I think we'll, I think we'll be okay. Yeah, definitely. But I mean,
00:04:08.420 soy, I mean, I have such a, soy, men, soy, it doesn't work. I'm very anti-soy. It doesn't work?
00:04:13.720 No. It gives you man boobs. That's a fact. That's a fact. You can look it up.
00:04:17.280 And that affects your menstruation. Soy, whenever I eat like too much hummus or something,
00:04:21.140 I don't know about you, but I feel it. Wait, is there soy in hummus?
00:04:23.460 Chickpeas? Don't chick, wait, maybe not. Oh, I don't know. Something about chickpeas too.
00:04:28.020 I think that's just you, girl. I'm making it up. I made that up. Maybe. My God,
00:04:31.540 I'm going to have to look that up now because like now I'm concerned about, I don't eat that much.
00:04:35.040 Something about it though. Like, well, a lot of vegetarians and vegans do though.
00:04:38.620 Well, that's what this whole thing is about, right? Yeah. Like basically I was looking,
00:04:42.480 so it says male fertility is directly affected by a vegan diet because it can cause a zinc deficiency
00:04:50.060 and on top of like all, like a ton of other deficiencies, but zinc is apparently important
00:04:55.080 for male fertility. Right. Um, it's also important to stop getting infections and getting chronic
00:05:01.320 illnesses and COVID as well. So there's a reason. So if you're a male vegetarian, you might try eating
00:05:06.640 meat. You should maybe eat meat. Or, or, or a zinc supplement would be a positive alternative to
00:05:12.340 eating meat. Sort of though, because don't you kind of think that like when we have these resources,
00:05:17.160 these food resources available to us, we should try to, you know, eat those things rather than
00:05:22.300 buy a pill. Yes. I agree. I take a lot of supplements, but I only take them because my
00:05:26.780 diet doesn't have all the things I need in it. But if ideally I would be eating like zinc rich foods
00:05:32.080 and, um, vitamin A rich foods, which, oh my gosh, I haven't told you this yet. Oh, I'm excited.
00:05:36.940 Okay. So during my research here, um, I found out, and this is maybe people who are watching are
00:05:42.900 going to be like, duh, I had no idea that retinol is vitamin A. Apparently retinol is a synthetic
00:05:49.440 topical form of vitamin A, which you have, you can get a vitamin A deficiency from a vegetarian diet
00:05:57.240 as well. So eat chicken meat and be beautiful forever. Um, I'm going to go buy a steak after
00:06:04.960 this. Yeah. Seriously. I had no idea that retinol and vitamin A were the same thing, but as we all know,
00:06:09.520 retinol is like the number one, uh, it's like pretty much the only topical thing that you can
00:06:14.160 put on your face that will actually prevent or, or get rid of wrinkles. So just like eat a lot of
00:06:18.400 chicken and y'all will be beautiful forever. I think that's what I say. I think that's a fact
00:06:23.180 fact. Let's, let's move on from that. Um, maybe we should talk about why so many feminists have been
00:06:29.740 silent about the very real dangers of birth control. Um, I feel like it makes sense. You're pumping
00:06:36.360 hormones into your body that shouldn't be there. And I think for me, the biggest issue with
00:06:41.560 kind of the way doctors just are, when you go to see your doctor, cause you're having like a
00:06:47.240 hormonal issue of something about menstruation or whatever. The first thing they do is put you
00:06:51.020 on birth control. You're like, you got acne, well, birth control will fix that. Well, you know what
00:06:54.220 else can fix that? Eating well, water, exercise, sleep, like so many other things, but we always
00:06:59.060 have to push drugs. Yes. So I was on birth control when I was like 20 and it made me feel so sick.
00:07:05.840 I lost, I lost a ton of weight. I was like really, really sick. I was moody. My period
00:07:10.200 stopped coming regularly. I was also like underweight at the time. So I don't know what
00:07:13.540 was what it was just a bad scene for me. So I went off it and I've felt amazing ever since
00:07:17.900 pretty much. Yeah. Um, but it wasn't like total, I wasn't totally happy with all of what the
00:07:23.580 Evie article wrote because it was a lot of like political. I agree. I wasn't like super,
00:07:28.300 super science based. I agree. So I did a little more research, which is smart. Yeah. You got,
00:07:33.080 I mean, I love the article. It's a great jumping off point, but it seems, so I found this other
00:07:37.280 article from this. I'll post it later. It's a very well family.com. It was saying that birth
00:07:42.900 control isn't, doesn't affect your long-term fertility, but there was all these little
00:07:46.360 caveats. So it was like one of the caveats is like, there's a, and they talk about this in the
00:07:50.420 Evie article too, but there's always like a, a period of time where you go off birth control and
00:07:55.140 then you're not fertile for like, it can be like a couple of months to years, depending on what kind of
00:08:00.920 birth control you're on. Um, and so that's one thing. So it's like, it doesn't necessarily
00:08:04.320 affect your fertility forever, but during that time you might be trying to get pregnant and
00:08:08.500 being like freaking out. Like I can't, the other thing, which is interesting that it was just like
00:08:12.700 a little side note in this article from this very well family.com. Um, it said that if you have
00:08:18.100 underlying fertility problems, your birth control may be masking them because you know how you have
00:08:23.240 like a simulated period sort of. So if you're taking birth control for years, which so many girls are
00:08:28.260 like, they can go on as young as like 13, 14 all the way until their thirties, 15 years.
00:08:33.460 Yeah. And then you finally come off it and you're like, Oh, I have, I've been having an irregular
00:08:37.960 period, but I didn't know it because of the pill. It might be too late to do anything about it.
00:08:42.660 So like we were, we've mentioned this before, like your period is a really, really good indicator of
00:08:46.640 your fertility health and like how your body is doing weight gain hormones. Like these are all
00:08:51.400 signals. So if you're masking that you might not know what's really wrong. And that's kind of
00:08:55.380 terrifying. That is terrifying. Um, and I think like the, the issue is like, there's such a weird
00:09:00.100 stigma about talking about the side effects of anything that has to do with fertility for some
00:09:04.580 reason. Like we've talked about the COVID vaccine that has been linked to some menstruation issues,
00:09:09.460 issues, maybe fertility, the science isn't sold yet, but you know, but, but it's like, it's,
00:09:15.120 we're not supposed to talk about the fact that birth control might be harming us because it's part of
00:09:18.600 the sexual revolution and it's empowering for women. But really I'd argue birth control is just really
00:09:23.840 empowered men because now they get to behave however they want, have sex with whomever and
00:09:27.780 they don't have to worry about impregnating someone. Yeah, exactly. Like it's not that
00:09:31.840 empowering if you do think about it. Yeah. It's just like modern, it's just like feminism where
00:09:36.460 at the beginning of it, it was like completely necessary. It's like, okay, I mean, we have a
00:09:40.800 little sketch about this. Maybe I'll post it in here after. But basically like women were objects
00:09:47.880 and they were property belonging to men. They weren't allowed to vote. They weren't allowed to work.
00:09:50.800 They, you know, once you were divorced, you lost your property rights. You had nothing basically.
00:09:55.580 So yay feminism. We got rid of all of that nonsense and now we're no longer objects in the
00:09:59.680 eyes of the law. And so at the time you'd think, well, birth control is great because like all these
00:10:04.380 women are just like, like every time you have sex, you could get pregnant. And then now you're,
00:10:08.280 you're burdened with like seven children. Like I understand why the need for it.
00:10:13.060 But you can also, you can also check your body temperature to know whether or not you're,
00:10:18.100 you're about to ovulate, you know, those kinds of things. So there are natural ways. Like God gave
00:10:22.800 us the tools. Yeah. And obviously they didn't know all that back then, but now we have like
00:10:26.140 fertility clocks and there's like all apps. Exactly. We have so many tools at our disposal,
00:10:31.720 like birth control, hormonal birth control pills is not the only answer. No, it's not. And I think,
00:10:37.600 I don't know, COVID's made me so cynical of big pharma in general. So it's just like when that's the first
00:10:42.920 step in recovery for something, I'm just skeptical. I'm like, I don't know, you're just making money
00:10:47.980 off me, you know? Yeah. And we know that it causes like severe depression and mood disorders.
00:10:53.180 Yeah. And it can make your hair fall out. Yeah. Obviously there's so many women that are on
00:10:57.040 birth control and they're totally fine. And that's cool. And I hope when they come off of it,
00:11:00.200 that they don't have any issues. That's cool. Like it's probably like, you know, 80, 20. I think
00:11:06.020 so too. Throwing a number out there. I think it's just important to talk about it and not be
00:11:09.720 shamed. Yeah, exactly. And just be aware that there could be side effects, like as with anything.
00:11:14.900 Yes. You know, as with anything. And not to shame a woman for asking questions about her health. No,
00:11:20.060 maybe, maybe we should not do that. Yeah. Maybe let's not. Maybe let's not. Speaking of someone
00:11:24.760 who should feel shame. No, I'm just kidding. He shouldn't. I'm totally kidding. Ryan Reynolds
00:11:29.660 shares how his anxiety makes him feel like a different person. I actually do kind of commend him.
00:11:36.380 We were kind of making fun of him a little before, but I read the article and I was like,
00:11:39.720 Oh, it's kind of nice to know that he not only is speaking out about it, but he does the job
00:11:45.200 anyway, because so many people are like, Oh, I'm anxious. I have anxiety. And it completely stifles
00:11:49.320 their life and they just stay at home and let their anxiety win. Right. And I think it's exciting
00:11:53.520 because I am naturally an anxious person and I deal with it in my own way. And I feel like it's just
00:12:00.340 nice to know that this big Hollywood guy is like, Hey, I'm not all confident. Yeah. And this is an act
00:12:05.560 guy. Basically said like, at first when I was reading the article, he was like, sometimes when
00:12:09.100 I'm about to go on stage, I get like really nervous. And I'm like, Oh, that's just called
00:12:12.100 stage fright. Like who doesn't have it? But then he was like, he feels like he's like, I'm going to
00:12:16.620 die. That curtain's going to open and I'm going to die. And I was like, okay, I've never felt that.
00:12:20.040 Like I've definitely experienced stage fright. Even before we come do this, sometimes I'm like a little
00:12:24.000 nervous energy, but I think that's positive. Like it means that you're doing something that excites
00:12:27.840 you when you use it. Challenging. Exactly. I use it. But with Ryan Reynolds, it's like, okay,
00:12:33.660 this guy actually has some pretty severe anxiety. And like you said, he does the job. And he says,
00:12:37.900 as soon as the curtain drops and he comes out, it's like, there's this other little person inside
00:12:42.580 him that takes over and like carries him through. And then he says, he like leaves and he's like,
00:12:46.460 Oh wow. Like I wish I could be that guy. Yeah. And it's like, well, you are that guy, right? And
00:12:50.380 like, it's pretty cool. But, and I've talked about this when we were discussing the episode
00:12:54.760 before, but this reminds me and I don't like, okay. Brittany Martinez is the founder of
00:12:59.880 TV magazine and I follow her on Twitter and I like, I like her magazine. And I think it's like
00:13:04.600 very, very valuable for women. It's a good tool. It's a great tool. However, she tweeted this thing
00:13:09.240 that I caught my eye. It was like a while ago. I'll post the Twitter, um, the tweet afterwards,
00:13:13.500 but the tweet said the following quote, am I the only girl who doesn't have anxiety? Quote.
00:13:20.980 Um, yes. And you're lying, Brittany. Yeah. Like Brittany, you lying.
00:13:24.760 Way to throw every woman you've ever met under like you've, you own a women's magazine. So I'm
00:13:29.840 assuming that a lot of to empower women. Exactly. I'm assuming a lot of your employees and your
00:13:33.900 friends are women and you're like, am I the only one? Like you're putting yourself on this little
00:13:38.120 cool girl Island. And I really don't think that's helpful for anybody. It's like, what if she's my
00:13:43.340 boss and I go up to her? I'm like, Hey, I'm just feeling like a lot of anxiety today. Like I'm
00:13:47.480 working through it, but just so you know, if I'm a little off today, that might be why she's just
00:13:50.780 like, that's not real. Yeah. Like am I the only one who never has it? It's like, so you've never
00:13:55.460 been in an elevator that's stuck. Yeah. You've never been on a highway. Yeah. You've never been
00:13:59.160 merged on the highway and you're like, Oh, like you've never had a natural response to stress.
00:14:04.200 It's a normal human emotion. And I think that, I think maybe what she's trying to say is like
00:14:08.040 so many people diagnose themselves with anxiety and I see her point. You don't have anxiety. You are
00:14:12.580 anxious. That's a feeling that we all feel like you don't have to have a severe mental illness
00:14:17.080 to feel something. Yeah. So I get that point of view, but yeah, it's just, it's a little tone
00:14:21.480 deaf. It's a little like, Oh, I'm 19. I'm the only girl who hates drama. Yeah. It's like you causing
00:14:26.820 the drama. I would love to talk to her one day and just be like, what do you do? Like, what do you,
00:14:30.260 what are you thinking when you put something out like that? Like I, and I see like, to your point,
00:14:34.080 she's trying to take the opposite stance of like everyone who's self-diagnosing themselves on TikTok.
00:14:38.300 It's like, I have this disorder. I have that. It's like, my God, roll your eyes. I'm like, can we just be
00:14:43.460 healthy, happy humans and like deal with what's going on inside of us and not just not compartmentalize
00:14:48.440 it and not just be like on an Island, like suffering alone, of course. But like to walk around with
00:14:52.800 your like label, like who doesn't have anxiety. That's why I just don't think like, I see what
00:14:57.740 she's doing, but it's just not a helpful tactic. No, I agree. I think it's, it's not going to win
00:15:02.380 anyone over. No. Like, who are you trying to win over with that attitude, girl? Yeah. That was like me
00:15:05.980 when I was 19. I was like, I'm so cool. I like hate drama. It's like, no, I love it.
00:15:10.060 Not anymore though. No. Yeah. Not anymore. Um, so I guess Brittany was kind of tough offering a
00:15:17.900 little tough love there maybe, but, uh, speaking of tough love and Gen Z, they want cuddly TikTok
00:15:24.460 agony ants. So young people are turning to influencers now for validation and reassurance
00:15:29.780 that makes them less resilient in the face of real world conflict experts warrant. So this kind of goes
00:15:34.780 back to our culture shock moment. Like everyone just needs to be coddled and have their hand held
00:15:40.040 and it's, it's really, really, I think going to be detrimental when these people grow up
00:15:44.640 and their boss is like, Hey, yeah, no, the answer is no. And they won't know how to cope with that
00:15:50.220 or respond to that. Well, you know, how they will respond is, did you see that video that was going
00:15:56.120 around last week of those kids in that university that were just like melting down in the class?
00:15:59.560 Yeah. Like, uh, Ian Milestrong posted a video of it and I'll post it here. Um, that's what happens
00:16:05.580 when you are self-diagnosing yourself and you absolutely cannot tolerate the world at all.
00:16:11.280 It's like, uh, this article says, given social media algorithms, the more you use social media,
00:16:16.600 the more your feed will cater to you and the more you will feel understood and supported.
00:16:19.340 Right. So as soon as you echo chamber, exactly. And they're just like, everything you do is
00:16:22.900 so amazing. You are like, you're everything just as you are and nothing you do could be
00:16:28.920 criticized. And it's nice to, you know, have a support system and find community and stuff,
00:16:33.860 but you know, tough love is love. And, um, speaking the truth in love is what we're called
00:16:37.920 to do as Christians. And that means telling the actual truth. And I think that the problem is we're
00:16:42.200 just humoring people too much. We're validating way too much. I think it's like, you can go too far
00:16:47.080 one way and too far the other. And I think we're just too many extremes. Ah, yeah, it's too many
00:16:51.760 extremes. So that's what happens. You get these screaming kids who are like, I think the context
00:16:56.760 of that video is like this dad didn't want his child transitioned behind his back or something.
00:17:01.940 So he went to speak at a university, which was like, Ooh, what are you doing? And the kids were
00:17:05.300 just screaming, like giving the finger, doing crude gestures. And it's like, that's what you get.
00:17:10.600 That's what, that's what we've, this is our, this is our world now. These are the people that are
00:17:15.120 going to be politicians and teachers and doctors and lawyers. They're going to be crying and screaming
00:17:20.320 because the world isn't like their iPhone algorithms. It's real sad. It is sad because
00:17:25.060 I think that's kind of why we are where we are in society. Like we don't have critical thinking
00:17:29.180 skills because of these echo chambers, because of these algorithms. And I don't know if that was
00:17:33.020 intentional. I'm going to put on my 10 foot hat here, but like it's working because to be a critical
00:17:38.520 thinker will make you a successful person in society. And I think it's important to be exposed
00:17:42.380 to different ideas and to decide where, what you believe, you know, after being exposed to those
00:17:47.400 ideas. Yeah. I don't know. Maybe I'm crazy. No, we're just teaching kids to just scream and use
00:17:52.280 obscene gestures instead of using your words and like not critical thinking. It's like pretty sad.
00:17:56.740 I don't know what the answer is. What's the answer, Nat? Like, I don't know. How do we fix this?
00:18:01.840 Think, stop humoring your children. Like say no to them, you know, teach them to think critically,
00:18:08.360 pray for wisdom. You know, I don't know though. Those are the only things I can think of. I hope
00:18:13.240 it's not, we're not too far gone in society, but like, as you said, these people are the future of
00:18:17.920 this nation, the future of the free world. Like it's scary. It's absolutely terrifying. So, um,
00:18:24.800 that's fun. Yeah. I don't know. I don't really want kids. Good luck. I hope that more of that
00:18:30.620 generation will like watch shows like ours and like read Evie and go to church and do all sorts of
00:18:35.340 things that are like counterculture and maybe that's the way out of this. Watch our show.
00:18:39.800 That's the way out and share your show with your grandkids, folks. Um,
00:18:44.900 and now a word from our sponsor. Bitcoin 2022 is the largest Bitcoin event in the world that takes

00:19:46.300 10% off. And that was a word from our sponsor. Speaking of someone who doesn't seem to want to
00:19:54.620 know the truth, we used this word last week. So many people in our society are truth-phobes.
00:19:59.660 They're scared of the truth. And I think Lizzo is one of those people, right? I agree. So do you want to take it away?
00:20:08.240 Yeah, this article is Lizzo praises her quote, really hot body quote, insists that she deserves
00:20:13.780 the spotlight for being a quote, body icon. I have lots to say. The most interesting part of this
00:20:20.880 article was no doubt the fact that I learned that she plays the flute. Did you know that? I did not
00:20:26.700 know that, but I'm not surprised. She seems like she wears many hats. Yeah, like that's, she's like a good
00:20:31.200 flute player. I had no idea. Like that's, that's actually a skill that, you know, you could deserve
00:20:36.660 praise for. Yeah, that's cool, Lizzo. Your other talents are cool, but I don't think you should
00:20:41.900 be known for being obese and then trying to encourage people that that's normal. Yeah. It's
00:20:46.760 just like saying Zendaya deserves praise for being incredibly skinny. Like, would we ever say that?
00:20:52.460 Like, we don't get any praise. Like, look at me. I'm starving. I'm basically like invisible when I
00:20:57.320 turn to the side. Like, do we deserve praise? No, because that's absolutely not. Because it's unhealthy.
00:21:02.200 It would be unhealthy to praise us for being like anorexic or something like gorgeous. But why
00:21:06.580 is it only okay to praise fat people? Yeah, it's not. Like, both are unhealthy. Too skinny
00:21:13.280 being fat. Like, why are we humoring? And to praise someone for their, for their skin sack. Yeah.
00:21:18.120 Like, I get it. We talk about like Orion Reynolds and his abs. It's like, okay, but that's not why
00:21:21.420 we like him. We like him because he's funny and he's like a good actor and he overcomes his anxiety
00:21:24.860 and he's like, has the little baby legs in Deadpool. Like, that's hilarious. Yeah. And that's what we
00:21:29.520 love. Yeah, definitely. We don't love him just for the abs. Like, there's other people with abs that
00:21:32.900 were just like, okay, you don't deserve my praise because like. You're dumb. You're a dumb
00:21:36.280 person. Or whatever. But. You're white supremacist. Like, you don't deserve any love. Yeah.
00:21:40.860 We will pray for you though. We will pray. I don't know. It's just such a weird egotistical
00:21:45.020 naive thing to say that you deserve the spotlight for your body. Yeah. Whether you're fat or skinny,
00:21:51.660 it's so stupid. Yeah. Like, keep playing the flute though. Yeah. Play the flute. That's pretty cool.
00:21:56.440 Um, also Lizzo, you are overweight. I'm being your friend. Let's be your friend right now. Yeah,
00:22:01.880 like, let's be your friend. Girl, like, you're not in a body icon. No. You are a very talented
00:22:06.580 woman though. Yeah. Beautiful girl. Absolutely. But you should eat a salad. Yeah. Like, what if you
00:22:11.160 were just still you in every way, but you just weren't encouraging everyone to be obese and you
00:22:15.760 weren't constantly talking about your weight gain? Yeah. I think that'd be great. Like, imagine if I was
00:22:18.800 like, oh my God, I lost another five pounds. I lost another. That'd be so annoying. You'd be like,
00:22:21.900 oh, that's all you talk about? Yeah. It's all you want to talk about your meat skin? So stupid.
00:22:25.520 Like, you have other things to offer. You have lots to offer. You're very talented. Like,
00:22:29.640 let's vote. If you want the spotlight, you can get it for that. Yeah. You don't need to talk about
00:22:32.980 your stupid body. It's annoying. It is annoying. Anyway, speaking of annoying. Oh. Okay. So
00:22:38.580 annoying, this next topic. Oh my God. We have like, I have like nine pages of notes. I actually wrote
00:22:44.740 a novel this weekend. Just like. Okay. So Rory and Lorelai. So this article is again from
00:22:51.700 Evie. Unpopular opinion. Rory is the villain of Gilmore Girls and Lorelai's bad parenting
00:22:56.900 is to blame. Preach. Let's do a slow clap. I was like reminded of how horrible they both
00:23:03.600 are. Yeah. Again, caveat and love Gilmore Girls. Me too. It's the best show ever. It's
00:23:08.060 the most like autumnal show. Oh my God. You just, you want a PSL when you watch it. Oh my
00:23:11.960 God. Or like Christmas. Yeah. No, like, and I love the characters. Like Lorelai reminds me of
00:23:17.360 myself sometimes and I'm like, that's not a good thing. Like she's a horrible person. She's
00:23:21.480 trash. I'm like less bad Lorelai. You are not. We both have monkey ears though. Like
00:23:26.500 we, we both have that same look. Um, but okay. My God. The very first episode of Gilmore
00:23:32.860 Girls. Lorelai tells Rory that she's just been admitted to Chilton Academy and Rory's
00:23:38.480 like, I'm so excited to go to a private school. I worked so hard. She's such a nerd. She
00:23:41.300 likes super smart. And then later in the episode, Lorelai's like, Oh, it costs money. And then
00:23:47.300 she has to go back to her parents who she's bragging about. Like, Oh, I don't need
00:23:50.240 them. I left at the home at 16. Blah, blah, blah. I worked my ass off to raise you Rory.
00:23:54.560 Then she goes back to her parents to ask for the money to send her daughter to
00:23:56.940 children. It's like, did you not know that the private school costs money? Like,
00:24:01.480 didn't you know before you applied? Yeah. Like you didn't. Before you applied. When
00:24:04.680 you applied, it probably said like student fees, academic fees, book fees, uniform fees.
00:24:08.920 Like, yeah. Like they, it's all out there. It's probably on the website. Like it's
00:24:12.440 probably right by the application. Yeah. It's like, do you have money? You can't come
00:24:15.900 here if you don't have money. Okay. And then also, can we please talk about how Rory
00:24:20.380 has literally had everything handed to her, her whole life. Like she never had to work
00:24:23.560 hard and they tried to paint Paris, her best friend from, is it Chilton? Yeah. Her best
00:24:27.820 friend from Chilton is like this annoying, like prude. And it's like, well, she actually
00:24:31.540 worked her butt off. Like she really was rich too. Yeah, I know. But she actually like put
00:24:36.820 a lot of effort into every single thing she did. Like she invested in everything. She
00:24:40.000 was passionate about everything. Rory's just like, yeah. And then as soon as she gets
00:24:44.280 any bad criticism from her first like article, whatever, she goes and steals a ship, a boat
00:24:48.440 with Logan. Yeah. From her, Logan's dad criticized her when she was interning at his paper.
00:24:52.460 And she's like, that's it. I'm over it. And then like, so Dean builds her car, her first
00:24:55.960 boyfriend, Dean builds her a car, tells her he loves her. And she's like, thanks. And
00:24:59.900 then she cheats on him with Jesse. Yeah. And then gets mad at Jesse for like some reason,
00:25:06.780 ends up getting back with Dean. Then Dean gets married. And then Rory cheats with Dean
00:25:13.000 on the wife. She loses her virginity to him. Yes. Who's married. And then she breaks
00:25:17.020 up that marriage and then just dumps Dean for Logan. Yeah. I am team Logan though.
00:25:22.500 Obviously. He's so rich. He's so hot. And he goes from like badass, like playboy to perfect
00:25:28.120 boyfriend. Like without a, he never does anything wrong. Yes. He's just a perfect, attentive,
00:25:33.100 loving, like loyal. Yes. There's no way that guy would be like that. So we should kind of
00:25:38.640 backpedal here a little bit. So we want to talk about how Lorelai is a bad mom. She's
00:25:45.100 a bad mom. And I think part of it is because she doesn't set a good example in relationships.
00:25:50.840 But I also think like part of it is because she just tried way too hard to be Rory's friend.
00:25:54.320 Yeah. So it's like, that's what the article kind of illustrates. Right. But it's like when
00:25:57.600 you don't discipline your kid and then you finally are like, Rory, no, they're going to be
00:26:01.080 like, what do you mean, mom? I'm perfect. You've been telling me. Yeah, like my best friend.
00:26:04.300 Yeah. Like you've been blowing smoke up my ass my whole life. She's just like, Lorelai
00:26:08.140 all of a sudden puts her foot down. Yeah. And it's like, Rory's like, nah. And Lorelai,
00:26:12.020 as the article kind of talks about it, she's the one to blame for her bad behavior. Like
00:26:15.660 she's, she's basically encouraged this and overshared. And I don't know. I just think she's
00:26:21.680 a really crap person. She is a crap person. She's hilarious. But she's a crap person.
00:26:26.760 So she sends Rory to Chilton and then immediately starts dating Rory's teacher. Doesn't tell Rory.
00:26:34.820 Let's Rory find out from school gossip. Yeah. Then gets engaged to the teacher and then breaks
00:26:40.640 off the engagement days before the wedding. Yeah. Days before the wedding, you're dating
00:26:45.380 your child's teacher. What's it going to do for her? And just expects everyone to just move
00:26:51.000 on and get over it. Like, stop harassing me. She's like, me, me, me, me, me all the time.
00:26:54.880 It's like, dude, dude. And then, and then when people are like, oh, how's your wedding?
00:26:57.780 And she's like, yeah. Yeah. Like, we just had a whole town throw you an engagement party
00:27:02.320 here. Yeah. She sucks. They both suck. And then she's mad at Luke for not coming to the
00:27:06.880 engagement party. Even though he's like, obviously in love with her. Let's talk about how she's
00:27:10.500 just like been playing. She played him for like a decade. Yeah. She was like, oh, oh, Luke,
00:27:16.100 I'm coming to you with all my problems. Yeah. Make me coffee, Luke. Yeah. Oh, hi, Luke, Luke,
00:27:20.600 with all these boy problems. And he's like, I love you deep down. And she's like,
00:27:24.700 nah. Yeah. You know, it's also super toxic about Gilmore Girls. The amount of junk food
00:27:29.260 that they pretend to eat. Yes. Like all they do. And they're like anorexic. They're so
00:27:32.260 skinny. Yeah. They are so freaking skinny. And they're just like, oh, like waffle. They
00:27:35.820 never show them eating it too. No. They're just like, oh, we bought all like bagels and
00:27:38.680 waffles and poutine and this and that. And then they just like, they sit there and like, like
00:27:42.580 chew on a fry for 45 minutes. And I'm just like, this is such, this is why girls. They just
00:27:45.820 like like the salt. It's just like that classic, like a relatable girl on Instagram who's
00:27:50.620 like, I eat donuts and ice cream. And like, I just like, I don't know. I'm just naturally
00:27:54.980 blessed. It's like, no, girl, you're eating like honeydew melon and nothing else. No,
00:28:00.080 be honest about your diet and encourage people to be healthy. But like this, whatever, it's
00:28:04.920 like the 90s, like early 2000s. Yeah. It was a different time. It's just so toxic. Like
00:28:09.580 girls, you're starving yourselves. Let's get real. Yeah. We know, we know you ain't eating
00:28:12.900 the donut, Rory. Okay. Yeah. No, we know. No. I could love the show though. Yeah. Love
00:28:18.060 the show. I think it just doesn't set a good example for women though. Like I don't really
00:28:23.460 think young girls should watch it. I will. Cause I'm not young. Well, we're adults. We
00:28:30.100 have critical thinking skills. Our brains are fully developed. So we can discern if it's
00:28:34.400 trash. I think the most relatable character is Emily, I thought. Oh. It's a mom. She just
00:28:41.280 hates everything, but it's consistent. She's very consistent. She's very consistent. Yeah.
00:28:44.240 Suki's relatable. She's cute. I like Suki, but Suki's too much of a pushover.
00:28:48.260 Yeah. That's the thing. Like everyone just bends to Rory and Lorelai's will. It's like,
00:28:52.060 do it for me. Remember when her husband lies, Suki's husband lies about getting a thing?
00:28:56.740 Yes. A vasectomy. Vasectomy and then impregnates her. Yeah. That's like borderline rape, isn't
00:29:02.340 it? It's a little weird. It's kind of crazy. Yeah. And she's just like, oh, you. It's like,
00:29:06.200 no, no, no. Yeah. That's, that's a, that's a great. Am I making that up? Did that happen?
00:29:11.280 I don't know if that happened, but. Okay. I might be lying. You know what? I thought chickpea
00:29:14.480 was soy earlier. So you know what? Misinformation. We should have like a soundboard. You are fake
00:29:19.660 news. We should. You are fake news. I'm sure someone does. So we're very fired up right
00:29:24.340 now. So we're about to get even more fired up with this next topic. You know, we love
00:29:28.620 talking about transgenderism and. Okay. No, I didn't. We're good. She didn't screw anything.
00:29:34.680 I didn't screw anything up. We're good. We're just spreading misinformation. But anyway,
00:29:36.760 we're going to talk about some trans kids, some trans athletes. Oh, this, this video,
00:29:42.260 we're going to start with the video. Okay. Should we just, can we play the video? Thank
00:29:46.240 you. Let's just let this lady tell her story. I have a really proud moment that I want to
00:29:51.760 share. So I'm a long distance parent and I get to typically talk to my kiddo through FaceTime
00:29:58.500 and we've been working on my pronouns for probably about a year now. Everyone that she's with on a
00:30:08.480 regular basis doesn't use my pronouns correctly. And so that's a really, really hard sort of like
00:30:16.240 line to walk for her because she's not with me all the time. But we do talk about it. We talk about
00:30:23.380 pronouns. We talk about, um, you know, what her pronouns are, what daddy's pronouns are,
00:30:30.140 what mommy's pronouns are, what other people's pronouns are. And we just like really work through
00:30:35.220 it. I always just gently remind her and say, Hey baby, what are mommy's pronouns? And she's so
00:30:40.700 funny because she's always like, yeah, she's like, she knows this really sweet thing happened
00:30:48.460 where she was going to tell her dad something and used my pronouns correctly without me needing to
00:30:56.740 remind her. Okay. Let's cut it. Um, there's a lot to unpack there. So do not teach your kids this
00:31:04.640 crap. Yeah. Like, first of all, the mother looks like a child. She's dressed like a fricking child.
00:31:09.220 She clearly is going leader. Yeah. She looks like she just came back from a summer camp thing and her
00:31:14.380 mom's like, Oh, you got a new hairstyle Kayla. Yeah. Um, she's also like, I'm a long distance
00:31:21.960 parent, which, you know, life happens. I don't know what circumstances. It's probably for the
00:31:27.140 best. Yeah. My hair is being janky. I'm going to fix it. You're beautiful. Thank you. Um, for me
00:31:31.620 though. Okay. Let's just let kids be kids. Let's not let them worry about misgendering adults. Like
00:31:37.180 it's not a child's job to cater to you as an adult. Like you are their parent. You're supposed to just
00:31:42.260 bring like support them, love them, not be like, you didn't call me they them Susie. Yeah. What the
00:31:48.740 fact that she's like, I constantly like ask her what's mommy's pronouns. And it's like, again, I'm
00:31:54.900 not there. No, I'm only here watching the video. And from, from my perspective, watching this video,
00:31:59.920 it's like, okay, are you also asking about her? Like you're asking about your child's mental
00:32:03.400 wellbeing. How's school going? Like maybe those are other conversations that she has and we don't see
00:32:08.860 them fine. It's just like, you're, you're showing us a picture of your parenting skills right now,
00:32:14.500 a glimpse into your world. And it looks very like you care about yourself only. Yeah. And your
00:32:19.880 pronouns. And that's the most important thing to your like little kid. And you're, and your kid is
00:32:23.460 showing you that they're annoyed by this. When she says, it was so cute. She goes, they them. Is that
00:32:28.680 cute? Or is your child telling you something? I think your child is telling you something.
00:32:32.700 So no, stop it. She's a big no for me. Just grow up. Just, yeah. We need to move on from this. You
00:32:39.880 need to grow your hair out or shave it all together. You look stupid. Um, speaking of stupid,
00:32:47.800 10 year old trans girl, MMA trailblazer and non-binary hotness highlight fashion week.
00:32:54.680 Um, 10 years old. It's pretty young. It's quite young. When I was 10 years old, I tried to like jump
00:33:01.600 off stairs with a pillowcase thinking I would be able to just, you know, float down the stairs.
00:33:07.320 Didn't work out. Okay. Don't think then I could have chosen my gender either when my brain had not
00:33:13.880 yet developed. So there's like two big parts of this. Yes, there are. A, is a 10 year old able to
00:33:19.920 pick their gender? I, I would say no. No. Based on you jumping and trying to kill yourself at 10.
00:33:25.840 Um, I was also stupid at 10 pretty much throughout my entire life, even up until this moment. Um,
00:33:34.080 the other, the other big part of this is like, why are we sexualizing a 10 year old? Yeah. Can we,
00:33:39.360 can we pull up a photo of this child? So the, the photo in the middle there that looks a 10 year old
00:33:46.080 boy and I'm fine. Like, let's call her her. Sure. That's a 10 year old girl, but you're over like,
00:33:52.720 this is sexualized. This is over-sexualized. Look at the makeup that they're wearing. Now,
00:33:57.840 while I was looking at this, the first thing I thought was that just looks like a little kid
00:34:01.780 in like dance troupe gear. Like my sister was a dancer. So she would, I would go to these things
00:34:06.300 with her and they're like 10 year old girls with like fake eyelashes and like belly tops doing
00:34:10.200 stancing. So I, if we have a problem with this, we should also have a problem with that.
00:34:15.700 I personally do. And I do. I definitely do. I don't think we should be making young kids look
00:34:21.100 like adults. I think it's creepy. It's super creepy. I think it's really like, think of like
00:34:24.640 pageant girls, like all those four year olds, like toddlers in TRs. It's creepy. So yeah,
00:34:28.800 like a lot of people do find that creepy, but then at the same time they're like cheering on this
00:34:32.260 trans child. Yeah, because they're trans. Yeah. So now it's okay to sexualize them. Like,
00:34:36.360 can we just not sexualize kids? Yeah. Especially because if you scroll through the article,
00:34:39.980 there's like other photos of this trans kid with a bunch of non-binary and other trans adults.
00:34:45.140 And they're way older than this person. Where are the other kids in the show?
00:34:48.520 Like, why is it all old people surrounding this innocent child? Yeah, exactly. The 10 year old
00:34:53.000 is going through something. They might grow out of it. They might not. Fine. They are who they are.
00:34:57.060 But like, should they be hanging out with a bunch of also confused adults? No. And also so messed up.
00:35:03.360 And I don't know. It's, it's a, it's, it's a controversial topic, but I don't know if it's,
00:35:08.980 if it's in your child's best interest to let them transition when they are prepubescent and they
00:35:15.400 don't know anything about life, anything about themselves even. Like, I just, I don't think we
00:35:20.140 should encourage this. Like, we should be encouraging seeking mental guidance. Well, we can't. It's
00:35:25.060 illegal now. Well, yeah, in Canada. Yeah. In Canada, it's literally illegal to seek counsel for
00:35:30.260 you or gender dysphoria. Well, and for a, for a psychiatrist or psychologist or pastor or any
00:35:36.000 sort of person in, in charge to counsel you, maybe steer you in a different direction. Yeah. But
00:35:42.420 he, but even on the, just the surface, it's like any sort of counseling is considered a conversion
00:35:47.360 therapy, which, you know, people think conversion therapy, they think chaining you up with a poison.
00:35:53.020 Which was a render, which is disgusting. It's illegal. It's been illegal for a long time. It's
00:35:57.940 disgusting. And I don't think a single person. No, whatever. Yeah. My pastor said that a couple
00:36:03.160 weeks ago, he was like, um, I've never in my whole like professional, uh, career seen any sort of like
00:36:11.360 physical, uh, violent. Yeah. Anything like physical, uh, conversion therapy, especially against someone
00:36:18.640 who wasn't, who didn't want it. Even like, even on a psychological level, like just counseling, like
00:36:23.720 if you don't want it and you're forcing someone, that's also, they don't do that. Right. Like if
00:36:28.060 they're like, Hey, I like being gay. It's like, okay, then this isn't for you. Right. So we're
00:36:32.380 already not changing people to chairs and forcing them to be straight. Like we're not doing that. Yeah.
00:36:36.860 So why can't you talk to your pastor? Well, and I do think like part of it is like parents think
00:36:42.160 they're doing what's best for their kid, but you also have to parent them. Like we've talked about
00:36:45.980 this throughout the whole episode. Affirming people is not always loving them. Yeah. So
00:36:50.740 and most kids like who suffer from gender dysphoria, which by the way is extremely rare
00:36:55.740 to be like, it's a rare diagnosis. Most kids who suffer from it do outgrow it. Yes. Like
00:37:00.320 80%. So we need to, we need to trust the science. Like your kid was likely going to outgrow this.
00:37:06.040 It's like affirming a child's desire to eat like pop tarts every day. Like mom, like I
00:37:11.300 looking at you test. I identify as someone who wants to eat pop tarts every day. And you're
00:37:17.100 like, I affirm that. Yeah. I want you to have a healthy relationship with your body. And I want
00:37:22.660 you to eat pop tarts every day. It's like, that's going to cause diabetes. Well, and if child services
00:37:27.240 found out about that, they would, they would probably deem you an unfit parent. Hopefully.
00:37:31.500 Yeah. Hopefully. But like, that's not. But then with gender dysphoria, you're like, I affirm it.
00:37:35.340 Yeah. No problem. You're 10. You're 10. You're so silly. And by the way,
00:37:39.160 undergoing hormone treatment will render you sterile. And even if you go off of those,
00:37:44.140 those treatments, it's very unlikely or rare that you can bounce back from that a hundred percent,
00:37:49.620 if at all. Right. Like, it's just, I don't know, guys, this is pretty serious stuff. And it's a
00:37:54.300 conversation that you should have. Yeah. It's just like birth control. It's like, let's not shame
00:37:58.680 people for wanting to discuss your options. Yeah. If you want to, if you want to transition and you're
00:38:04.640 of age, like my goodness, when you're a consenting adult, go for it. Yeah. When your brain is
00:38:08.960 fully evolved on children, I think we nailed that. I think so too. Okay. Now we got to
00:38:13.640 talk about our girl, our girl, Leah. Yes, you did it. Leah. So trans woman, Leah Thomas
00:38:21.280 addresses debate about her competing in a women's team. I am Leah. The trans woman
00:38:25.400 dividing America tells her story. Okay. So we talk about her a lot. Leah just wants other
00:38:34.120 trans athletes to know they're not alone, which is nice. That's lovely. That's nice. No problem
00:38:39.580 with that. But it would be a lot nicer, Leah, if you cared about the fact that you are basically
00:38:45.100 erasing women in sports as a biological male. I can say that. Yeah. Yeah. Because it's true.
00:38:51.760 Yeah. Like born a male identifies as a female. Those are the facts. Those are the facts. Those are facts.
00:38:57.620 Those are facts. Another fact is even if you are taking hormonal, like testosterone suppressants,
00:39:03.960 you still have higher levels of testosterone than a biological woman. Of course. That's also a fact.
00:39:08.600 You also have like the bone density, the musculature, the skeleton formation. All of that. All of that
00:39:14.940 makes you more, let's say successful when swimming against a female counterpart. Certain gifts that you
00:39:22.280 were given at birth that other people weren't given that make you a faster. Biological advantages.
00:39:27.040 Yes. Biological. Are we allowed to say that? I don't think so. We're not allowed to say any of
00:39:31.680 this. No. There's a photo of Leah. You can just ponder that for a minute. I have a question. Yeah,
00:39:36.680 I'd love to answer it. Why can't Leah? Please answer this for you. Why can't Leah in her female
00:39:43.200 bathing suit just swim with men? So Leah did address this in her interview. So basically when she first
00:39:52.740 came out of trans, I think it came out as trans in 2019. I don't remember what the organized, is it the
00:39:58.340 NCAA or whatever? Sure. Whatever. There's like an organization and they were like, you can compete as
00:40:04.540 a woman in male sports as you take your treatment, but you have to take your treatment for like a year.
00:40:10.820 So she did that. She swam in a chick's bathing suit and then was able to compete against other women
00:40:17.160 because she is a woman, she declares. She's a woman. She deserves to compete against other women
00:40:22.880 despite those biological differences we just mentioned. That's kind of like if you were in the
00:40:27.200 NHL and you thought it would be a success story to like be downgraded to the OHL. Yeah. And you're
00:40:33.700 just like, oh wow, this is easy. Yeah. Like I'm scoring like 10 goals a game. That's a great example.
00:40:37.640 Like as an athlete, wouldn't you want to be pitted against better, harder working competitors? Like
00:40:46.020 stronger, faster, like how are you going to be a faster? Like because she says all I've ever thought
00:40:50.680 of myself is as a swimmer. So swim with the men then. Yeah. Like challenge yourself. Like why would
00:40:57.040 you put yourself in the small pond? Yeah. Seems weird. Seems like we're picking it based on the
00:41:01.880 bathing suit she's wearing. Yeah. And I mean, she did say that she's not thinking about wins or breaking
00:41:07.260 records. Yet as an athlete, that's literally your only job, dude. Like come on, dude. I can say
00:41:12.900 dude because I call you dude. Yeah. But like it's pretty easy to do your best when you have a
00:41:17.500 biological advantage over someone. You're not going to get faster by swimming against women who are
00:41:23.080 slower than you. You should be swimming against swimmers who are really, really fast and will
00:41:27.520 encourage you to break new records. And so don't lie about not enjoying those wins. Yeah. Okay, girl.
00:41:34.260 Yeah. Okay. Yeah. If you really want to challenge yourself and just swim, you would swim with men
00:41:38.100 and you would wear your bathing suit and maybe you could have your own change room for modesty and
00:41:41.240 you can feel comfortable. Like I'm not trying to make her feel uncomfortable. No. I will call her
00:41:45.160 a girl. I will say wear whatever bathing suit you want. Grow your hair out. You're Leah. That's cool.
00:41:49.640 But like you still have the musculature and like bone density. The biology of a man. The biology of a man.
00:41:55.900 And you always will. Yeah, always will. Yeah, always will. And it's not an insult. I love men.
00:42:01.000 Men are great. They're great. I kind of want to talk about some of the criticism that Leah has received
00:42:08.120 from some of the parents on the team. So I just want to read some quotes if that's cool. Yes, it is cool.
00:42:15.680 So this is what they said because these are their daughters, by the way, who've worked their whole life
00:42:22.160 to get on these Ivy League teams. They're bigots. Okay.
00:42:24.580 So we support Leah as a trans woman and hope she leads a happy and productive life because that's
00:42:29.740 what she deserves. One parent of a Penn swimmer says, what we can't do is stand by while she
00:42:35.300 rewrites records and eliminates biological women from the sport. If we don't speak up here, it's going
00:42:40.240 to happen in college after college. And then women's sports as we know it will no longer exist in this
00:42:45.800 country, America. And then so basically the counter to this is that that parents argument is disingenuous
00:42:54.420 to Leah because there's no such thing as half support. You either back her fully as a woman or
00:42:59.240 you don't. She says it's the very simple answer is that I'm not a man. I'm a woman. So I belong on
00:43:04.440 the women's team. Trans people deserve the same respect every other athlete gets. Well, you know,
00:43:08.220 those women who they're not getting respect at all. They're not. Where's their respect? Yeah.
00:43:11.720 Like that's so self-centered. Yeah. It's so self-centered. That just really made me mad.
00:43:16.040 Because of the way I identify, everyone else has to identify differently now. They are no longer,
00:43:20.620 they're like, oh, what is a woman? Am I a woman? What is a swimmer? Like, am I an athlete? Like
00:43:24.240 everyone has to rewrite all the parameters of everything they know because Leah wants to wear
00:43:29.780 a female swimsuit. And it's like you attend an Ivy League school. You're not an idiot. Okay. Like you
00:43:34.760 are not an idiot. So come on. Like let's, let's, let's be a little bit more aware of our
00:43:39.800 surroundings there, Leah. Like we do know that the teammates have also been complaining about seeing
00:43:44.420 your male genitalia in the change room. Yeah. You know, respect, respect other people and maybe
00:43:51.060 they'll respect you. I don't know. I don't know. Oh gosh, we're getting canceled. I think she should
00:43:57.000 just swim with men and that would be fine. I think she can be 462nd again or whatever she does.
00:44:03.700 It's not 500. She doesn't care about the, you don't want to win anyway. She doesn't care about winning.
00:44:07.800 Yeah. So just swim with men. Plus at least you're not below the 500th best. Like it's not bad.
00:44:12.520 462 or whatever. That's not bad. I would definitely be below 500 in men and women. So she's definitely
00:44:18.020 better than me. I would just sit at the pool. Yeah. I'd be like, can I get a mimosa? Yeah. I'm like,
00:44:23.400 hello. So hello, the sun's not great inside this indoor swim. Yeah. Can you fan me? Okay.
00:44:28.580 Um, so, uh, speaking of fans, speaking of fans, fans are mad because Joseph Gordon Levitt is too
00:44:37.120 hot. Actually, no, not fans. Just this one person who wrote this bitter person wrote this article
00:44:42.960 where it's from slate. Um, what's the article? You're too hot to play Uber's founder. The real
00:44:47.060 problem with all the new shows about tech villains. This person is clearly just jealous that all of
00:44:51.620 these tech villains are like now making money capitalizing off of these movies that make them
00:44:57.180 hot. Yeah. Like, are you mad that Leonardo DiCaprio played that guy in Wolf of Wall Street? Did you
00:45:02.340 want to watch an uggo do it? Yeah. Like, did, are you not aware that Hollywood actors are good looking?
00:45:07.120 They're all hot. Even the ugly ones are kind of hot. Yeah. Like they're just, there's something
00:45:10.540 about them. They're all striking. Yeah. Well, I remember when, um, uh, Jennifer Lawrence came onto
00:45:16.700 the scene and it was hunger games and people, I remember like the thing was, it's like, Oh yeah,
00:45:20.480 she's like a normal looking, like, she's not like Hollywood hot. And I'm like, she's like,
00:45:24.060 she's obviously super hot. She's like, no, no, she's like less hot than like a Margot Robbie.
00:45:29.840 It's like, okay, you guys are all tens or more. Yeah. Like that's, that's how Hollywood is the low
00:45:35.040 bar. Yeah. If you're not a 10, you're not on the screen. Even like Betty White was a 10 as an old
00:45:41.080 lady. Yeah. She was a 10 frigging 10, but they're talking about how like these like hot dudes kind of
00:45:45.840 like are glorifying, like white collar crimes. And it's like, Hey, I can watch hot men commit
00:45:52.400 crimes on film and still know that crime's like bad. Yeah. Like we've kind of always done that.
00:45:56.360 Yeah. It's kind of just the way it is. Like it's like, we all have critical thinking skills. Like
00:45:59.940 we know that crime is bad. Hot men, nice. Just a bonus when we're watching the bad crime. Yeah. So
00:46:05.520 when you're going to tell us a story about some boring moment in history, make it hot. Yeah.
00:46:09.940 Otherwise we're not going to watch it. Yeah. The only exception is Tony Soprano.
00:46:12.960 No. No. Um, but if he's your type, we don't judge. No, absolutely not. Everyone's got a
00:46:18.520 little. Well, no, we don't judge, but I just think though, like who cares author of this
00:46:26.140 article? Like who cares? I wrote this article is an idiot. Yeah. Like literally though.
00:46:31.400 That's all I can say. I just, there's such a jealous tone to it. So bitter. So anyway,
00:46:35.300 just get hot. Yeah. Just like get hotter. You know, it's so easy.
00:46:41.440 All right. Speaking of, uh, idiotic Hollywood people, um, Zoe Kravitz would like everyone
00:46:46.500 to know that her character in Catwoman, sorry, her character Catwoman in the Batman, which
00:46:50.700 I'm really excited to see, um, is bisexual. And that's relevant to the plot because, uh,
00:46:58.160 my question is why wasn't this role given to an actual bisexual individual?
00:47:02.940 Um, good question, Zoe. You should be canceled. Yeah. You're canceled. I mean, clearly this
00:47:07.800 person just wants clout with the LGBTQ, ABCDEFG movement, but like you're already in Batman.
00:47:13.480 That's the coolest thing ever. That's one of the, like the greatest playing opposite Robert Pattinson.
00:47:17.680 Yeah. He's like the hottest actor right now. And Paul Dano's in it. He's like the greatest
00:47:21.860 actor ever. He's amazing. He's not old and he's not hot, but he's amazing. Um,
00:47:28.160 yeah. So like, I don't know. Like this isn't Harvey Milk story. Okay. You can just be a cat
00:47:34.140 woman. Yeah. Why wasn't it actual cat cast? Yeah. In the role. Maybe it should be canat woman.
00:47:40.820 Yes. Canat woman. Okay. There there's the still. Um, speaking of woke BS, Dr. Zeus's works to be
00:47:50.900 edited by racially diverse team amid woke backlash. Is it Zeus? Zeus, Zeus, Zeus. I'm like,
00:47:57.060 have I been saying it wrong with his life? I actually don't know. I think it's, I think
00:48:00.140 you're right. I think you're wrong. Okay. Can we just talk about the fact that this dude is dead?
00:48:03.320 This guy's dead and they're old. They're like, he's canceled. He can't defend himself though.
00:48:07.680 That's not right. If we're going to cancel dead people, shouldn't we be canceling Walt Disney?
00:48:11.260 Yeah. There's so many dead people. There's so many dead people that should be canceled before Dr.
00:48:15.200 freaking Seuss. Yeah. By the way, who probably just wanted to like write some books that had some sweet
00:48:20.620 rhymes for kids to like read, you know, like book I ever read fully through was green eggs and ham. That's what I mean,
00:48:26.320 though. Like he's like a childhood staple. I don't think there's any malintent here. Like I really
00:48:31.060 don't see this. I just think like if you're an adult and you're offended by a children's book,
00:48:35.400 there's something wrong with you. Like just read something else. Apparently like Joe Biden wouldn't
00:48:40.940 read it for like the annual like children's story hour. Cause he's like, Oh, cause he's the,
00:48:45.120 he's the woke president guys. He's, he's fixing transphobia. And, uh, I didn't understand what
00:48:51.060 the cause for the cancel was for Dr. Seuss. So I looked into a little bit, some illustrations
00:48:56.040 and there's some illustrations where there's like a caricature of a Chinese person. And it's,
00:49:00.680 I think it's in the one that's like, Oh, the places you'll go or something like that. They're
00:49:03.280 like traveling all over the place. And there's like, there's like a, uh, a Muslim or something.
00:49:08.800 Yeah. And there's like someone that looks like a black person in Africa. And it's like, okay,
00:49:13.280 these are caricatures of cultures. Like if you put some, if you put like a little like potato lady
00:49:18.060 with like a scarf on her head and you're like, I went to Eastern Europe. Like, would I be offended?
00:49:22.200 No, no. Cause my people are potato people. Like what if, what if someone did that to a white
00:49:26.940 character though? They made them like a white, weird character. And they're like, Oh, he's eating
00:49:29.740 mayonnaise. Yeah. It's like, it's a dumb blonde. Like, come on. That's okay. That's not actually,
00:49:34.020 that's not okay. Yeah. Like, are we not allowed to poke, not even poke fun. Are we not allowed to
00:49:40.160 teach kids about different cultures using like a really like kind of silly caricature. That's what a
00:49:46.340 caricature is. It's like, Oh, I know. It's like that. No, the answer is no. Okay. You're not
00:49:50.920 allowed. Okay. Um, but you know what? Buy up all of his books before they get, you know,
00:49:55.460 completely erased from history. This is some 1984 BS, man. Oh my God. Soon. It'll be illegal to
00:50:00.380 mention the word Dr. Seuss and you'll, you'll be vaporized. Um, yeah. We just got vaporized. That's
00:50:07.040 why I paused. Oh my God. Oh my God. I was like, no, I was like, what happened? No, I got vaporized. Oh my
00:50:11.320 God. Terrifying. Speaking of terrifying Gen Z gals on growing out their body hair. It's sexy
00:50:16.060 and empowering. No, it's not. No, it's not. It's not. It's not. It's not. Um, so this
00:50:21.980 was, uh, funny. So here's a quote, uh, of respondents between the ages of 18 and 35, female
00:50:28.120 fur proved to be even less of an issue with a majority confessing that. Yeah. Majority confessing
00:50:33.340 that they either find armpit hair attractive or don't care if a woman has it. Lies. Well,
00:50:38.800 okay. I will say though, I do think most men don't care if you shave, but that's why I think
00:50:43.760 like, like I just shave my legs and stuff because I want to, I don't do it for my husband.
00:50:49.680 No. Like I think like don't cut my other leg with the prickles. Yeah. I do it. So it's
00:50:53.720 not like uncomfortable and like, it's kind of, I feel like it's more hygienic. Yeah. And
00:50:57.240 it feels sexier. Yeah. I think so too. Like I don't do it because society told me to certainly
00:51:01.740 not because your husband told you to know, absolutely not because at the end, your husband
00:51:05.800 is going to want to whatever with you. Yeah. No matter what. He sees your fur. He's fine
00:51:10.200 with it. Like I got a little, you know, going on right here sometimes. Some, some guys are
00:51:14.520 into it. Yeah. No, they're not. Um, but no. And also like they, this article kind of claims
00:51:20.780 that like people are saying that it's not normal to have body hair. Like we all know it's normal.
00:51:25.180 Yeah. We like, it's normal. It's normal. It grows there. We know like as a woman, I've often
00:51:30.180 been like, Oh, I wish that I didn't have to go and spend $600 every six months or whatever
00:51:36.160 on laser and go and it's painful and I have to shave it. Like I wish, but that's just
00:51:40.960 the way it is. Like it's not men causing me to feel that way. It's just the way it is.
00:51:45.360 And I get their physical comfort. They're trying to change the normalization and like, fine.
00:51:48.400 If you want, like, I like natural stuff too. Like we were talking about this last week.
00:51:51.940 We're like the more skincare and beauty products that we can buy their natural, the better,
00:51:56.580 the happier I am. So maybe for them, this is just that next step. It's like, sure.
00:51:59.920 That's even more natural. Fine. But you're stinky. You look, you look dirty.
00:52:03.600 You're going to stink. You look dirty. And it's not cute. Like, let's just not pretend
00:52:07.800 it's cute. It's not cute. It's not. It might be natural. It might be, it might make you
00:52:10.300 feel empowered, but it's not cute. It's not cute. Okay. But also I want to talk about
00:52:16.180 how those razor brands hot cast these like hairy models in their, in their campaign.
00:52:23.120 That doesn't make any sense. It's like so counterproductive. They're the least likely to use a razor.
00:52:27.820 And like, they're not going to make me want to buy your razors. I'm like, Oh, it doesn't
00:52:31.440 work very well. Yeah. I was like, I would fire your marketing strategist. Like, I don't know who
00:52:35.780 thought that was a good idea, but yeah, like two UK companies, like shaving, like razor companies.
00:52:40.940 They'll figure it out. They'll figure it out. They'll be putting like a hairless seal on the
00:52:44.720 covers any day now. Like that's, that's just also just like I say stinky because like where there is
00:52:50.660 hair, there's often odor and sweat. Yeah. So like smell her head. If yeah, it's perfect. Yeah. If
00:52:56.140 you're gonna, if you're gonna do the no shave thing, like maybe consider like a chemical strength
00:53:01.420 antiperspirant. A natural one though. A natural one. Yeah. No such thing. Just put pure zinc on
00:53:07.480 your armpits. That'll look cute with like hair and like white cake chalky paste. Don't eat while
00:53:12.920 you're watching this episode. I'm so sorry for ruining your appetite. Gen Z, you can be hairy girls.
00:53:18.380 I'm going to keep shaving. I'm going to be gorgeous. Okay. Yeah. Great. Speaking of someone who's
00:53:24.200 gorgeous, but annoying as hell. Meghan Markle. Meghan Markle. Okay. So this article is from TMZ.
00:53:30.160 So we don't, we can't really fully understand just how true or untrue it is. It is like a tabloid
00:53:36.240 magazine, but apparently she's being sued. Her sister claims she lied to Oprah and others
00:53:41.220 about her rags to royalty story. And she claims BS. I mean, again, we don't know if this is true,
00:53:47.700 but it's hilarious. I think. Okay. So Meghan Markle is apparently quoted as saying she grew up in
00:53:51.880 virtual poverty. And I'm like, do you mean virtual as in synthesized and not actual poverty?
00:53:56.920 Yeah. Delusional poverty. Or maybe because she's so rich now. She looks back at like a middle class
00:54:02.320 upbringing and she's like, oh my God, it was horrible. I mean, it just speaks to the fact
00:54:07.740 that being poor and having like oppression points is cool now. Yeah, it's cool. Like it gives you clout
00:54:12.240 in society with progressives mostly. To me, it's like, it's really respectful to, regardless of your
00:54:18.420 wealth or class or upbringing, you know, to work hard, like to, to be honest and have humility
00:54:23.500 and to be kind. Like those things are cool. Those should give you clout in society, but no.
00:54:26.720 And to be grateful. Yeah. For what you have. Yeah. That's, I think the, I mean, the sister,
00:54:31.040 who knows what she's trying to get at. Who knows? She's like, I like, she's saying that the reason
00:54:35.640 she's suing Meghan is because she, the sister, Samantha, cannot get jobs now because of, of Meghan
00:54:42.740 resmirching her family. I'm like that. I feel like that's not true. Like a stretch, girl.
00:54:46.920 Like you, when you sue someone, you have to claim that there's some like physical, um, or
00:54:52.260 financial damage that you've suffered. Right. So she's probably like, I can't sleep at night
00:54:57.020 and I can't work. It's like, that sounds like BS. However, Meghan Markle, like her sister
00:55:04.400 is saying like, okay, you said on Oprah or wherever you said that you put yourself through school
00:55:08.600 and she's like, no, our father paid for your university. Like, again, have I verified this
00:55:12.260 myself? I have. No, we haven't verified. Yeah. And not, but, and, and also one thing I do know
00:55:17.940 is I remember when her and Harry got together, Meghan Markle and Harry got together, there was
00:55:22.060 a photo of Meghan Markle outside the Buckingham palace when she was like a teenager. And it was
00:55:26.600 like, oh, isn't this so cute? Like she was outside his house and like wanting to be with
00:55:30.800 him and like, they didn't know each other, but it's like, okay, stop right there. Like most
00:55:34.480 people who are literally, literally impoverished aren't going on Euro trips. I didn't go to Europe
00:55:39.040 as a kid. I didn't even go to Disneyland, but, but like I was saying before, like it's, there's
00:55:43.360 nothing wrong with being raised wealthy. Like there's nothing wrong with that. Yeah, exactly.
00:55:47.020 What matters is what you do with that. Like how, like what you do moving forward, you know,
00:55:50.820 don't be entitled. And what she did was marry a prince. Yeah. And you know, she's so entitled.
00:55:54.260 And we tried to marry princes, but it just, it didn't quite work out for us, but we're going to try
00:55:59.860 to do, you know, we're just, we're grateful for what we have. But like, I had a, I had a pretty cushy
00:56:04.100 upbringing as a child. Like there were much richer kids than me and they were much poorer.
00:56:08.860 And I was like, I never wanted for anything. I was never hungry. Like growing up and realizing
00:56:13.280 like some kids actually are hungry and their parents can't afford it. That's like quite a
00:56:18.000 shock. And you're like, Oh my God, like I'm so lucky that I never had to deal with that.
00:56:22.520 You know, that was a blessing. Yes, exactly. So now imagine me today trying to play in the
00:56:26.860 oppression Olympics and pretending that I was hungry and that I was impoverished. Like what a slap in the
00:56:31.980 face to my family. I just think it's embarrassing too. It's insulting to people who are actually
00:56:36.040 impoverished, who are actually hungry and who don't have access to like internet and all these
00:56:40.660 and like afterschool activities, which apparently trips to London, trips to London. Like her sister's
00:56:45.360 like you did extracurriculars. Like you went to private schools, like theaters, dance and stuff.
00:56:49.460 And again, like, that's awesome. I'm not saying like, Oh, how dare you do all that stuff? That's
00:56:53.680 awesome. It's just like, don't spit in your parents' faces for giving you an awesome upbringing
00:56:58.260 by pretending that you were oppressed. Yeah. That's so sad. It's, it's bad for the family.
00:57:03.200 Yeah. I don't know. This sister seems a little sus though. They're, they all seem sus anyway.
00:57:07.480 Yeah. They're all a bunch of suspects. We're going to do our weekly blitz. Let's do a blitz.
00:57:13.660 Blitz please. So we did this last week. We're going to try it out again. Y'all can let us
00:57:19.520 know if you hate it. We might still do it anyway, though. We might do it anyway. People are going
00:57:22.440 to say they hate it and we're not going to listen to them. We're very stubborn. All right,
00:57:26.920 let's blitz it. Let's bring up our first article, how to stop stress eating unhealthy foods.
00:57:32.940 Yes. Uh, have self-control. Close your mouth. Stop eating that food. There you go. All right,
00:57:39.740 moving on. Moving on. The world naked bike ride is returning to Toronto this spring. Well,
00:57:44.580 hello. No one wants to see that. Ouch. Illinois bill would make drunk sex illegal.
00:57:54.680 So no wine with dinner. Um, also like now the government is governing what we can and cannot
00:58:00.540 do in the bedroom. No. Seems a little sus. Seems sus. Seems a little sus. All right,
00:58:05.160 next. Want to avoid disability and old age? Get a dog. Researchers find dog owners are half as likely
00:58:10.440 to be disabled in their seventies and eighties. I love that. I wonder if the benefits will multiply
00:58:15.720 the more dogs you have. I'm thinking about getting like 10 pugs. Oh my God. That's,
00:58:18.340 that's genius. Yeah. That's absolutely genius. I'm going to get seven more coon hounds. I think you
00:58:23.160 should. Mom with Britain's biggest eyebrows says trolls call social services on her. So
00:58:27.940 I don't really, I don't see what her eyebrows have to do with her parenting other than the fact
00:58:32.440 that she clearly has poor judgment. Well, obviously if you, if you saw this woman walking down the
00:58:36.740 street, you would be like, take her child away. Obviously. Right? Mostly the lip liner too. I feel
00:58:42.500 like though, if the trolls like really wanted to hit her where it hurts, they just send her some makeup
00:58:45.600 remover and Q-tips. Yeah. She knows, she knows that she looks like a freak. Yeah, she does. She's a freak.
00:58:50.820 All right. Chrissy Teigen looks fresh and rejuvenated in leggings and a sports bra after
00:58:54.960 enjoying the spoils of a spa day in West Hollywood. She's wearing a freaking mask. Can you scroll down
00:58:59.600 a little because there's a picture? She's wearing a mask. How can you tell she's wearing? Oh,
00:59:03.420 she looks so fresh and rejuvenated. Actually, she looks pissed. She does not look. I heard that she
00:59:09.100 was canceled. I thought we were done with her. I don't think, I think she just like, she just keeps
00:59:13.700 coming back. Oh my God. She's got like nine lives. Get out of here, Chrissy. Britney Spears explains those naked
00:59:19.500 pictures as she calls herself a rebel and a free woman while defiantly sharing another topless beach
00:59:25.260 shot. Well, you can be free and not free the nips, Britt. Yeah. Britt, you're like 40 and a mom.
00:59:32.320 I don't know. Like you can be a rebel. With your clothes on. You could like be like, hey, I don't
00:59:37.620 think you should mandate vaccines. Like that's pretty rebellious. Yeah. That'd be sexy. Keep your top on
00:59:41.220 too. That'd be sexy. All right. Moving on. Robert Pattinson revealed he was, quote, counting sips of water,
00:59:47.180 quote, to get into the best shape possible to play Batman. Thank you for doing your job, Robert.
00:59:53.080 Water has zero calories, Robert. Yeah. Robert, you're going to be fine. You're going to be fine.
00:59:57.880 You look great though. He does look good. Whoa. And I don't think he should be in the spotlight for how
01:00:02.620 hot he looks. You know why he's in the spotlight? Because he's a really freaking good actor. Yeah.
01:00:05.800 He's a great actor. Who knew the guy from Twilight? Who knew Edward Cullen? Who knew Cedric Diggory?
01:00:11.100 Oh my God. Cedric Diggory. Cedric. Oh my. I was trying to figure out if Twilight was before or
01:00:16.600 after. I don't know. I have no idea. I think after. Yeah, maybe. Okay. Anyways. Thanks,
01:00:21.480 Robert. Playboy model claims she was kicked out of an Airbnb for being too hot. Happens to me all
01:00:27.320 the time. That's normal. I just think like, how does she know that? How do you know that's the
01:00:33.500 reason? And I mean, yes, it does happen to us a lot. All the time. We kind of get it. We're constantly
01:00:38.140 escorted out of establishments. I assume it's because we're too hot. Yeah. All right. Moving
01:00:44.580 on. Pete Davidson joining Jeff Bezos on Blue Origin spaceflight, sources say. So Pete is
01:00:50.200 going to some. Is he or is he not? Because sources are saying it. I don't know, but he's
01:00:54.380 going to some serious lengths to get away from Kanye. If it's true. To get away from you
01:00:59.500 and your DMs. Oh yeah. I'm trying, Pete. I'm trying. She'll follow you right into space. I'm
01:01:05.640 going. I'm booked. I'm booked. I'm booked and ready to go. Oscar host Amy Schumer opens
01:01:13.480 up about her positive impact of liposuction she underwent. I'm feeling really good.
01:01:21.900 I was like, I hope you have something to say.
01:01:24.140 Okay. Well, I don't get it. Okay. Mine was, okay. Oscar host. Like that's the only thing
01:01:29.240 she's accomplished. Like who even watches the Oscars? Don't worry. She's known for plagiarism.
01:01:34.080 She's going to steal all of Billy Crystal's material and it's going to be a great show.
01:01:37.680 I do like though that she admitted that that's why she lost weight. That's cool. No, that's
01:01:41.840 cool. I do actually respect that a lot. That's probably the only time I've ever respected Amy
01:01:45.260 Schumer. I do love, I feel pretty. So I've never seen it. You should watch it. It's really
01:01:49.800 good. Okay. Yeah. She just, I used to do comedy and I like someone who she steals people's
01:01:56.280 jokes. I mean, it's super uncool. No, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Like it's super
01:02:00.160 uncool and like the comedy world to do that. So it's just like, meh. And I don't, I don't find
01:02:04.860 her that funny, but I really respect that. She's like, Hey, I got liposuction because that's kind
01:02:08.560 of fat and I feel, I feel like better now. It's like, cool. Yeah. Let's not pretend you didn't.
01:02:12.560 All right. City of Toronto says vaccine policies to stay in effect for employees only because the
01:02:18.220 science is different. Yeah. The science is different. If you're rich and you can afford to
01:02:21.840 go to fancy restaurants and to spots and stuff, then COVID won't kill you. But if you're poor
01:02:26.040 and you work at the restaurant, then COVID will kill you. So thank you, science.
01:02:33.800 That's great. I love that. That's it. That was awesome. The blitz is done.
01:02:37.660 That was the blitz. Please. Um, let's talk about some fashion. Let's talk about a little
01:02:42.820 fashion. And then we're going to round things out here. Um, let's talk about some fashion.
01:02:49.120 Um, so Rihanna, Anya, Taylor, Joy, the best lab street, street style from Paris fashion week.
01:02:55.660 Um, let's talk a little, a little, let's scroll down here and see what we've got. Okay. We've
01:02:59.780 got Rihanna's naked. Okay. Okay. Who the heck is that? Um, I actually like this. Would I wear it?
01:03:07.740 No, I don't like that. There's like a sparkle, right? Right. Where her goody bits are. Yeah.
01:03:11.800 Like, does that because it was, is that because it was see-through and you could see stuff or is that?
01:03:16.800 I think that that's what her vagina does. I'm jealous. I know mine doesn't do that. Um,
01:03:22.740 okay. Well, this is cute. It's okay. It's creative. It is creative and it, and it's pretty
01:03:28.860 to look at. It looks extremely uncomfortable. Yeah. Like can you imagine the chafing? Yeah.
01:03:33.120 It's not good. Oh my God. All right. All right. Moving on. Who's this? Zendaya. She always
01:03:38.040 looks so good. Yeah. She's so, she's so beautiful. She's so beautiful. And I love this pink color.
01:03:42.620 We love pink on this show. She looks great. I like it. Yeah. I mean,
01:03:46.380 I've seen her in something similar to this before, but it's awesome and she looks great.
01:03:49.600 So she's recycling ideas like Amy recycles other people's jokes. Yeah. Great. Exactly.
01:03:54.020 Moving on. Moving on. Who are these people? Who cares? Don't hate it. Oh, what? Dude. It's like,
01:03:59.800 this is, what are you, Jared Leto in 1999? Like get over yourself. That's what I was thinking too.
01:04:04.680 Yeah. And I don't like this weird bra look. This is something that someone would wear to like a
01:04:09.920 crappy club in Toronto. Toronto. Yeah. They look like they're going to a club in Toronto. Yeah.
01:04:14.360 They look bad. I'm not a fan. No. Moving on. Great. Is this Dua Lipa? Oh, that's cute.
01:04:20.400 No, I think that's Olivia. Scroll down a little bit. Oh, Olivia Culpa. Oh no, it's not. No,
01:04:26.200 it's not. Oh, this is someone else who I do. Oh, it is Olivia Culpa. Yeah. She looks really cute.
01:04:30.280 She looks beautiful. I mean, she's so gorgeous. Yeah. She's so hot. And I love that top. I love the big
01:04:34.540 puffy and her shoes are cute. Yeah. She looks great. She looks, I love the, um, the bell bottoms with the slit
01:04:39.980 and then you can see the shoe. Otherwise it's just like hiding your shoe. Exactly. She looks amazing.
01:04:43.920 She looks great. She's gorgeous. She is. Who's this? This is? This is Bieber. Yeah. Baldwin. Well,
01:04:50.720 Bieber. Haley Bieber Baldwin. She looks old. She does look super old there and she doesn't in any other
01:04:55.260 photo I've ever seen. That's just an unflattering photo. I also don't like the dress. No, this is
01:04:58.540 I think she looks bad. I think you think she looks old because this is like Cougar goes out on a night
01:05:02.100 It kind of looks like Courtney Cox. Yeah. Like is out on the town. Yeah. Like when she's trying to get
01:05:06.340 engaged to Chandler and, and, and Richard ruins it. It's not cute. It's not cute. I also don't
01:05:11.120 think I like her as a brunette, but I know she's so much prettier as a blonde. I think so too.
01:05:15.680 Who's this? Um, that's a beautiful coat. Yeah. You know what? I don't know who this is. Maria
01:05:21.200 Sharpova. Okay. Well, I love this coat. This coat I must have. It's so perfect. So I love the sleeve,
01:05:29.340 the cutout. I like her bag too. I don't like her pant shoe combo though. I do think that it's,
01:05:33.900 I also would do wear with that. Um, I'd probably just wear the coat and nothing else because just
01:05:38.620 heels. I think so. Yeah. But I, I just think it doesn't look good on her either. I don't know.
01:05:44.240 It just doesn't look good. She looks kind of frumpy. It's the, it's the pant shoe. I think so too.
01:05:48.860 Combo. Yeah. You're right. Their legs under that would be gorgeous. Yeah. With stilettos. Very
01:05:52.360 pretty. I think. Who's this? Uh, Ari, what's her name? Adriana Lima. Um, I don't see anything.
01:05:59.600 Yeah. Is she pregnant? I don't know. I'm going to get in trouble for saying that. I don't like
01:06:04.160 this. It's all right. I bet, I bet without the coat on. Yeah. There's something else going on
01:06:08.820 there. Well, she should. She has some like weird things on her fingers. That's, you know,
01:06:13.140 I don't like it. Maybe she hurt herself. It sucks. Hope you feel better. Yeah. Get well soon.
01:06:18.780 All right. Let's see. Ooh. Who is this person? I don't know who this is. Camille Razat. I don't
01:06:26.520 know who that is, but I love her shirt personally. Okay. That's definitely something that I would
01:06:30.260 have seen in Star Trek. I think it's great. No, it is great. It's very like futuristic. It's
01:06:35.660 different. It's flattering. I have no idea what's going on beneath it, but who cares? I can't
01:06:40.160 see. My only concern is I find tops like that really widen and broaden the shoulder, which
01:06:44.560 I don't always appreciate, but she's probably like so narrow. It doesn't matter. Yeah. Anyway, very
01:06:48.560 pretty. That's cool. I like that. That's fashion. These are actually, these have been
01:06:51.700 more fashionable than the other ones that we've seen. I know. This sucks though. Who
01:06:54.200 is this? This is, I don't care. It's Serena. Serena. Stick to tennis, girl. Just get. I
01:07:00.080 didn't recognize her. It's not good. I like her like more natural. I don't know. I just
01:07:05.360 don't. It doesn't even look like her. This is horrible. This is like a Disney villain. Yeah.
01:07:08.740 It's not cute. No. It's not Halloween, girl. No. Girl. Oh, this is Archie. This is Archie. This is Archie.
01:07:14.920 I don't, I, so much black. I can't even see. Yeah. I bet it looks hot in person though.
01:07:20.800 Yeah. Like she's pretty. I have no idea what's going on. She looks like a, she looks supple
01:07:24.800 though. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's fine. She's got very shiny shoulders. Yeah. Is that like
01:07:28.940 a thing now? I don't know. Should we be doing that right now? I feel like my shoulders are
01:07:32.820 very dull. Are they shiny? Hurry. Hurry. Fix it. Fix it. Fix it. Does she have like gloss
01:07:39.200 on her shoulders? Quick. Give me the gloss. Is that all of them? Nope. Okay. We got
01:07:47.440 Victoria Beckham. I can see that. I can recognize that mug from a mile away. I don't. Her face
01:07:53.140 is so plumped up with stuff. There's nothing good happening here. Those shoes look extremely
01:07:57.740 uncomfortable, which you know is fashion. Yeah. Whatever. Moving on. Beckham. It's a black
01:08:01.780 dress. We've seen it. You're going shopping. Is this? Who's this? Oh, what? That looks like
01:08:08.240 Sarah Jessica Parker. I thought this was Cher. I thought it was an old woman. Yeah. Yeah.
01:08:14.100 Like a very old woman. This is not a good outfit. Girl. Okay. The purse. Bad. The dress. Bad.
01:08:19.960 I like the boots. Bad. Really? Okay. Me. No. Actually. Dog walking. Yeah. Her. What? I don't know
01:08:28.020 what's happening here, Bella. Bella. Girl. All of that plastic surgery like reversed. It's bad. Like
01:08:33.800 it's really good. You're going to look gorgeous for three years, but on the fourth year you turn into
01:08:37.400 an old woman. This is like some bad Cinderella. That's some bad Juju. I hate that. Yeah. It's
01:08:42.460 horrible. Ooh. Okay. Oh, that's pretty. Oh, wait. Is that a jumper? Nope. No. Not in the
01:08:47.800 circus. Oh my God. She looks like she's in the circus. What are you, bad Sandy? Get out of
01:08:52.560 here. No. It's bad. No. Oh my God. That would be camel toe and like crazy. Mandy Apatow. Is this
01:08:58.860 like Judd Apatow's kid? Maude Apatow. Oh, it is. Okay. Oh my God. She looks bad. This is what happens when you have
01:09:03.800 famous parents. This is why you just famous people stop having kids. This is
01:09:07.740 like the Demi Moore is like the opposite blue man group. She's just like just blue
01:09:12.760 hands. She's going to do a show afterwards. She's going to like do some sort of like. Okay,
01:09:19.680 girl. I mean, she looks gorgeous. Her face is like perfect. She looks younger than Bella
01:09:24.640 Hadid. She does. All right, Demi. I don't love it. Where is your dermatologist? I'd love the
01:09:32.000 number. Please start a skincare line. Yeah. If she has one, I will use her. Whatever. Give me
01:09:37.380 that acid. Lots of money and lots of surgery. Yeah. So. And dating Ashton Kutcher briefly. Briefly.
01:09:44.140 Briefly. Yeah. So glad that's over. Is that all of our fashion?
01:09:49.280 Let's do it. I think so. I think. Oh, I love her. Okay. She's so pretty though. Yeah,
01:09:55.040 no, she's so pretty. Anya Taylor, girl, your face, you're like a little alien, but I love it.
01:09:59.260 I know. It does it for me. Yeah, she's just so fashionable. I love the glasses headband
01:10:04.580 thing. I don't love the dress per se. I like the dress. I don't know. It's really super like
01:10:09.360 it's an old lady dress, but I would wear it because I'd be like, well, that's the only
01:10:12.260 thing I'd feel comfortable in. I think you'd look cute. I think I'd look cute. I love the
01:10:15.200 head sunglass thing though. I just love the look. It's the whole overall impression is very dainty
01:10:18.760 and cute and like very, I don't know. It's just so cute. Yeah. It's cute. You could wear
01:10:24.760 that to church. Yeah, you could. And you'd look better than everyone. Yeah. You'd look
01:10:28.300 really good. Yeah. I might wear it next week. She will. Um, is this the girl from Emily in
01:10:33.880 Paris, Ashley Park? Yeah. Yeah. This outfit sucks. Yeah. Like it's a lot. Like it's a
01:10:41.260 fashion week. For fashion week though. Are these boots a thing now? Like flat, wide
01:10:46.140 brimmed black boots. I'm, I just bought some. That's the thing. They're already in the
01:10:52.440 cart. They're on the way. Check out. This is just like, this would be like me trying to
01:10:57.760 throw together like a fashion outfit and being really bad at it. And everyone's like, and
01:11:01.180 they're like, I'm like, I'm fashion. I'm wearing a trench coat and I'm wearing like a little
01:11:04.720 paper boy hat. And they're like, that's a lot. And then she has like her like Gucci bag.
01:11:08.500 Yeah. Yeah. Like that's the, that's the fashion. Yeah. No, Ashley put a park in it.
01:11:14.540 I don't know. Park this outfit. Yeah. Park it. We'll, we'll fix that in post. Um,
01:11:23.260 I don't have anything to say. This is just bad. I like that her name's, is it Romeo?
01:11:31.480 Romy. Romy. That's a cute name. Romy. Romy. This sucks. This is only good if you're that tall
01:11:36.500 and that skinny. I don't like it. No, it's, it's what a child would be forced to wear at like
01:11:42.560 a private school. And they'd be like, I hate it, mom. Looks bad. It's giving me gossip girl
01:11:48.000 vibes, but like, there's a reason to gossip. You know? Like, it's not cute. That's not cute.
01:11:54.560 All right. Let's do one more. One more for us. Make it a good one. Make it a good one,
01:11:57.980 Olivia. Pick out your favorite. Ah! You nailed it. Okay. So this is, I think it's Dior.
01:12:05.420 Oh, is it? Yeah. I can't tell. You couldn't tell. I had no idea. So let's just say she looks
01:12:09.900 amazing though. I mean, she's so beautiful. Her face, her skin, like that pregnant glow,
01:12:15.160 like it's there. She's beautiful. It's just like, it's so naked. It's like a maternity shoot. Like
01:12:20.800 that's something you wear in like a boudoir maternity shoot. Oh God. Why would anyone ever
01:12:24.340 do a boudoir maternity shoot? Well, she's trying. She's doing it. Yeah, I guess you're right. And I
01:12:28.360 just think like, save it for the photographer girl. Hmm. I don't know. Romy. Romy. That's bad. But
01:12:34.320 congrats on your pregnancy. Yes, congrats. You look, you look gorgeous. Yeah. It's just like,
01:12:38.980 it's not nice. There's not enough material. Yeah. And you know, like a little pigment maybe. So
01:12:44.380 it's very opaque. Wait, transparent, not opaque. It could be more opaque is what I'm saying. I think
01:12:49.840 you're onto something. Yeah. So, uh, that's it. Whatever. That's it guys. It's like, you know,
01:12:54.760 whatever. That was a great show. I think. Do you agree? You agree? Yes, you do. Um,
01:13:00.260 so, uh, where are your hosts? I'm Nat. And I'm Kat. And this was Misunderstood episode number four.

01:13:31.240 week and it's not worth it. It's old news then. This fashion is out of style by then. It's like
