Transcript

00:00:00.000 If Balenciaga were truly sorry for what they did, they would have fired everybody at the company and just started over.
00:00:06.920 I think so, because there's just no, how do you, how do you remedy this?
00:00:10.740 You can't, you got to start from scratch.
00:00:13.060 So if that's what she should be saying, fire everyone, just get rid of them all.
00:00:17.260 Let's start fresh with some like conservatives.
00:00:19.800 Maybe Kat and Nat can be your new, you know, if they want to go in another direction with like nice clothes.
00:00:26.540 I'm down for that.
00:00:27.380 Like a little like Christian, you know, conservative, like pro-life.
00:00:32.920 I don't know.
00:00:33.320 That'd be kind of cute.
00:00:33.840 That'd be so cute.
00:00:34.660 We're open to it.
00:00:35.380 We're open to it.
00:00:36.180 You know, we'll reevaluate our relationship.
00:00:37.960 Yeah.
00:00:38.180 If they go in a completely different direction and fire everyone.
00:00:41.140 But this is just out in plain sight.
00:00:43.560 I find that very odd.
00:00:45.020 Like, is this, are they distracting us from something?
00:00:47.680 Yeah.
00:00:57.380 Hello and welcome to Misunderstood.
00:01:09.360 Yeah.
00:01:10.340 The show for the politically and culturally misunderstood lady, gent, binary, non-binary, non-Bob.
00:01:17.920 Yeah.
00:01:18.960 We are your hosts.
00:01:20.960 I'm Nat.
00:01:21.840 And I am Kat.
00:01:23.180 But yeah.
00:01:24.660 And today we're talking about, we're taking this seriously, guys.
00:01:29.120 This is not a joke.
00:01:29.940 This is not a joke.
00:01:31.400 We're talking about Balenciaga.
00:01:34.340 Full stop.
00:01:35.980 That's it.
00:01:36.520 That's it.
00:01:37.020 That's all we're talking about.
00:01:38.340 Because there's so much stuff.
00:01:39.780 Yeah.
00:01:39.880 The more that we read about it, the less we want to be alive.
00:01:43.720 Pretty much.
00:01:44.260 And might I suggest to all of our loyal and faithful fans watching this, do not do your
00:01:49.780 own research.
00:01:50.840 Because, and I say that to spare you, because it is, it's not good.
00:01:56.200 It's, you know, the term rabbit hole, I don't even want to use.
00:01:59.520 Which also implies pedophilia.
00:02:00.820 I don't even, I know.
00:02:02.000 So.
00:02:02.380 The words coming out of my mouth.
00:02:03.640 I don't want to talk about it.
00:02:04.680 Mm-hmm.
00:02:05.020 I don't want to talk about any of this, but we're going to.
00:02:06.880 We're going to do a deep dive.
00:02:07.740 For you.
00:02:08.320 For you.
00:02:08.720 So you're welcome.
00:02:09.100 So you don't have to.
00:02:09.740 So just, let's back up a little bit.
00:02:12.800 So Balenciaga ad campaign features children with bondage teddy bears.
00:02:17.560 This was published on November 16th by Redux.
00:02:21.420 So the luxury fashion house Balenciaga is raising child safeguarding concerns after launching
00:02:26.320 a new ad campaign featuring children and bondage themed toys.
00:02:29.560 Both of the image feature very young child models holding teddy bears.
00:02:35.220 And.
00:02:36.180 The teddy bears are wearing what?
00:02:39.280 Bondage.
00:02:40.020 Gear.
00:02:40.300 Oh, BDSM gear?
00:02:41.800 BDSM gear.
00:02:42.460 And the children are very young?
00:02:44.780 Toddlers.
00:02:45.640 Hmm.
00:02:46.420 And just a side note on that.
00:02:48.520 The father of the daughter in the shoot is defending it, insisting that the daughter
00:02:52.540 had a fantastic time on set.
00:02:54.920 It's like, sir, you pimped out your daughter for cash and she's a toddler.
00:02:59.180 She does not know what's going on.
00:03:01.020 Like, you know.
00:03:01.940 Did they give her candy?
00:03:03.060 I don't know.
00:03:03.540 Is that why she had a fantastic time?
00:03:04.640 Yeah, I don't know.
00:03:05.480 Did the very nice man take her to the back room and give her candy?
00:03:07.660 That is conjecture, not fact.
00:03:10.280 But like, despite that, it's just very hard for me to believe that this child knows and
00:03:17.700 understand what's going on.
00:03:19.120 So, of course, they're having a fancy fun time on set.
00:03:22.140 But like, you know, they can't even pronounce Balenciaga.
00:03:26.140 I can't.
00:03:26.920 I honestly had to Google it before this.
00:03:29.760 So we're no longer going to be shopping there, unfortunately.
00:03:33.240 No more $6,000 bathrobes for me.
00:03:35.440 It's not because I can't afford it.
00:03:37.480 It's because I have a moral.
00:03:39.820 I'm a moral person.
00:03:42.180 It's morals.
00:03:43.220 It's morals.
00:03:44.100 So great.
00:03:45.160 So that's basically what's happening.
00:03:48.060 And then as of November 21st, Balenciaga scrubbed its official website, homepage, and
00:03:51.960 social media following increasing public scrutiny.
00:03:54.800 Well, it's good to know that people were scrutinizing this.
00:03:58.260 Yes.
00:03:59.480 So before we dive into all of the stuff, there was just a very funny thread that I sent you
00:04:06.240 that I don't even have notes on, but I just wanted to mention it because this, I have
00:04:10.980 to think, it was a website called High Society.
00:04:15.480 Or High Snobiety or something like that.
00:04:17.960 Snobriety?
00:04:18.600 Snobriety or something like that.
00:04:19.960 That's cute.
00:04:20.240 And they were doing like an in-depth thread on like basically just saying anyone who calls
00:04:24.540 out Balenciaga is a conspiracy theorist.
00:04:26.380 Oh, of course.
00:04:26.880 And they were saying that the reason that they scrubbed their IG is because they always
00:04:30.940 do that after a campaign's over.
00:04:33.020 But it's like the Christmas season just began.
00:04:35.440 So it's like a weird time.
00:04:38.120 Like, so they took down this campaign and they put up the spring 2023.
00:04:41.480 Just for the sake of the thread.
00:04:42.480 Like, so their feed looks like cool and cohesive.
00:04:45.960 Yes, exactly.
00:04:46.500 Yeah.
00:04:46.920 So they're like, oh, that's normal.
00:04:48.900 But it's like Christmas season, shopping season just started.
00:04:52.200 So it's like, no.
00:04:53.700 Yeah.
00:04:54.240 What a weird, even if they're going to do that before spring 2023, you don't do it now.
00:04:59.100 No, you do it in the next cycle.
00:05:01.220 Exactly.
00:05:01.620 Absolutely.
00:05:02.120 Okay.
00:05:02.380 Super weird.
00:05:02.940 So don't listen to that BS.
00:05:04.440 Don't, you're not a conspiracy theorist.
00:05:06.020 This is happening in plain sight.
00:05:07.140 And so one of the other things that stirred up a lot of controversy is that in one of the
00:05:12.740 photos, which did not include the child models, one of the brands Adidas collaboration handbags
00:05:17.740 was seen laying on a desk, littered with documents.
00:05:20.560 One of the papers upon closer investigation appears to be from the 2008 Supreme Court case,
00:05:25.500 United States versus Williams, which involved a man named Michael Williams, who in April 2004
00:05:31.300 used a public internet chat forum to post a message offering to exchange child sexual abuse
00:05:35.520 materials with other users in the group.
00:05:39.280 And then, um, why?
00:05:43.300 Yeah.
00:05:43.620 You might be asking.
00:05:44.620 We don't know.
00:05:45.560 Don't know why.
00:05:46.300 We're just bringing you the facts.
00:05:47.520 Just, I don't know why.
00:05:48.800 I don't know why it was included in the campaign.
00:05:51.920 It's super freaking creepy.
00:05:53.360 And, um, one of the people that I was reading on Twitter, oh, my notes are all over the place.
00:05:58.460 But one of the things they said was like, it was just some random person on Twitter, but
00:06:02.500 they were like, everything that's art is done purposefully.
00:06:06.380 Like, you don't just have like, oops, we have just a pedo doc.
00:06:11.040 First of all, why do you have that?
00:06:12.320 Second of all, why like anything in a shot is there on purpose?
00:06:16.520 Yeah.
00:06:16.660 It's the same for film and whatever.
00:06:18.060 Well, they hire set designers.
00:06:19.760 They hire lighting designers.
00:06:20.980 They hire anyone behind this campaign in the marketing department.
00:06:25.400 There was a lot of hands in the pot here.
00:06:27.420 Yeah.
00:06:27.680 And then, of course, so they have, it goes from ideation where they're like, hmm, what
00:06:32.700 should this campaign be about?
00:06:33.880 Brainstorming.
00:06:34.400 Yeah.
00:06:34.680 Exactly.
00:06:35.080 Brainstorming.
00:06:35.520 And then they hire the production company and then they make it.
00:06:38.940 And then after that, they have to approve it.
00:06:40.740 Yeah.
00:06:40.920 And then they have to hire advertising people to post it.
00:06:43.620 Yeah.
00:06:43.920 And spread it.
00:06:44.720 So a lot of people were involved in this.
00:06:46.280 Exactly.
00:06:46.600 So it's just, and I guess like, I know we have so many things here, but like, since
00:06:50.100 we're on the topic, like, let's just skip to the fact that Balenciaga is now suing the
00:06:55.960 production company who filmed, like who actually took these photographs.
00:07:00.480 Yeah.
00:07:00.580 In response to the backlash.
00:07:01.980 Yeah.
00:07:02.040 In response to the backlash.
00:07:03.300 Exactly.
00:07:03.620 But my theory, tinfoil hat theory, is that they know that that lawsuit will never go
00:07:11.120 anywhere because they completely, like, because this other user on Twitter mentioned that they're
00:07:14.780 not, they're not suing for copyright infringement, which would be like if they were saying, oh,
00:07:22.580 you used our brand in a way, like copyright infringement means the use of works protected
00:07:27.440 by copyright without permission for usage where such permission is required.
00:07:30.440 So that they could have been like, oh, you used material that we don't like.
00:07:35.320 And like you, you copyright infringed, you created, you did copyright infringement, I
00:07:42.120 guess, committed it against us without our permission.
00:07:45.160 But they're not even alleging that.
00:07:46.800 They're just like, so I think that they're just, they're saying, yeah, they're saying
00:07:50.840 they claim North Dix, which is the production company and Dix.
00:07:54.400 Yeah.
00:07:54.800 Sorry.
00:07:55.380 North Dix and Desjardins included the images of the court docs without their knowledge.
00:08:00.440 Which was malevolent or at the very least, extraordinarily reckless.
00:08:04.120 That's what their filing states.
00:08:05.980 But that's, it's like, no judge would, again, I'm not a lawyer, but like, no judge would
00:08:11.340 agree with that because they're like, did you not see the photos?
00:08:13.800 Like, I'm just, I'm just like low level Judge Judy's stuff here.
00:08:17.020 You'd be like, oh, I'm looking at this photo right now.
00:08:19.240 And I can see that in the photo.
00:08:20.440 Like, why did you give this the green light?
00:08:23.520 It's so simple.
00:08:24.420 So my theory is that they're doing it knowing that it won't go anywhere, but it's just to
00:08:28.060 appease people while this is in the media and hoping, because like everyone has like
00:08:32.740 the memory of a goldfish.
00:08:33.840 They're hoping in two months or whatever.
00:08:35.280 It'll go away.
00:08:35.640 Yeah.
00:08:35.900 In a year when this is litigated, it'll just be gone and no one will care about it anymore
00:08:39.400 when they're like, oh, you, you can't sue them for that.
00:08:42.220 That's my theory.
00:08:42.860 And even what's interesting, Tucker Carlson said this too, in a monologue, one thing he
00:08:49.160 noted was that the preview of the document listed the word sex and sexual, like several
00:08:55.540 times in the, in the sneak peek that you can see in the image.
00:08:58.020 And I just want to also make a note that although some people on social media believe the documents
00:09:02.740 were from the other court case I mentioned, others also think it's from another case.
00:09:07.180 So it's, I don't really know what the answer is, but.
00:09:09.960 I've only ever seen the Williams, like you would.
00:09:12.280 Yeah.
00:09:12.680 So another one is from the 2002 Supreme Court case Ashcroft versus Free Speech Coalition,
00:09:17.300 which justices struck down a portion of the Child Pornography Prevention Act of 1996 that
00:09:23.240 allowed virtual child pornography to be considered protected speech.
00:09:26.680 So basically like kiddie porn is like legal.
00:09:29.440 But it's like, I think that's what some people were saying on Twitter was like, if, if it's
00:09:34.300 not actually depicting child pornography, it's just like alluding to it.
00:09:38.680 Yeah.
00:09:38.900 Then it's fine.
00:09:39.600 And that, so that would make sense because it's like, oh, wink, wink.
00:09:43.120 Yeah.
00:09:43.380 Like this is all staged.
00:09:45.100 Yes.
00:09:45.660 It's, and you know, they do that in movies.
00:09:49.420 For sure.
00:09:50.080 I mean, innuendos.
00:09:51.160 Yeah, exactly.
00:09:51.700 Yeah.
00:09:51.900 They imply and, and do that all in movies.
00:09:55.760 And I find it disturbing.
00:09:57.220 Like I stopped watching the Dalmer thing.
00:09:59.480 That wasn't child pornography, but it's just like, we have this weird fetish as a society
00:10:03.760 with watching gore and gruesome stuff.
00:10:05.400 And pain, yeah.
00:10:05.960 And if it's like simulated, it's okay.
00:10:08.800 Yeah.
00:10:09.000 So that, I think that court case kind of like hinges on that.
00:10:11.580 It's like, oh, it's art.
00:10:12.360 It's free speech.
00:10:13.160 It's not, they're not really hurting kids, but by putting them in those situations and having
00:10:17.280 those pictures out when they can't consent to it.
00:10:19.160 And then later as adults, maybe they are hurting them.
00:10:22.200 I don't know.
00:10:22.460 Yes.
00:10:22.760 No, it's, it's always a slippery slope and it's always normalizing this kind of stuff.
00:10:26.640 Right.
00:10:26.920 So, and that's the biggest issue.
00:10:28.620 We, we've seen how much of a slippery slope, the normalization of so many things are in our
00:10:33.020 society.
00:10:33.400 And now it appears that like high level fashion brands are able to just get away with this
00:10:38.920 pretty well scot-free because as we're going to talk about more later too, like celebrities
00:10:42.540 have been pretty well radio silent on this up until this weekend when Kim Kardashian, who
00:10:48.660 is very closely affiliated with the brand, finally spoke out, but we should just backtrack
00:10:53.080 a little because Balenciaga did recently apologize for their advertisement showcasing
00:10:59.860 minors holding BDSM teddy bear purses.
00:11:04.820 So they say they're sorry.
00:11:07.060 I don't think it's good enough.
00:11:08.720 No.
00:11:08.980 So, um, so they made two apologies.
00:11:13.180 One was, yeah, let's bring that up.
00:11:15.240 The one on Twitter.
00:11:16.060 Yeah.
00:11:16.400 Yeah.
00:11:17.180 Um, so one says that they apologize for the fact that they shouldn't have the teddy bears
00:11:21.720 with the kids.
00:11:23.080 And Nat made a good point earlier when we were talking about it, which is like, you probably
00:11:26.600 shouldn't have had the teddy bears at all because teddy bears are for children.
00:11:30.420 Yeah.
00:11:30.560 That's, they're always, like, even if you have a teddy bear, I, I do in my house, they're
00:11:34.860 from childhood.
00:11:35.600 Yeah.
00:11:35.980 Like they're, they remind me of childhood.
00:11:37.660 They're childlike.
00:11:38.520 So putting them in BDSM gear on their own, even without kids is creepy.
00:11:42.560 Yeah.
00:11:42.760 But they're just apologizing for having them paired with children.
00:11:45.320 And then the other apology that they made was about having that court document in the
00:11:49.400 photo that they are saying, like, they didn't, they had no idea.
00:11:53.260 And like, how, how could this have happened?
00:11:54.760 Right.
00:11:54.960 Again, it's a huge fashion campaign.
00:11:58.460 Yeah.
00:11:58.560 It's not like someone tweeted.
00:12:00.160 Yeah.
00:12:00.500 And then you do.
00:12:01.340 Like, when someone like Kim Kardashian is one of the spokespeople for this brand, it's
00:12:04.940 not like they don't have.
00:12:06.200 Yeah.
00:12:06.460 It's not like they don't have all hands on deck here.
00:12:08.940 A lot of money, a lot of resources.
00:12:10.360 A lot of preparation.
00:12:11.660 A lot of approvals.
00:12:12.360 Like, Kim Kardashian doesn't even post a photo of herself on IG without having like
00:12:16.500 multiple people look at it and like pick the right angle.
00:12:19.780 Like, so you're telling me that this whole giant fashion.
00:12:23.140 It's just an accident.
00:12:24.180 It was just an accident.
00:12:25.500 Somebody happened to have that, you know, in their makeup bag and it just fell out or
00:12:30.260 something, you know.
00:12:30.860 And like, they're taking a close up photo.
00:12:32.860 They wouldn't be like, what is that?
00:12:34.060 Yeah.
00:12:34.400 Like, what is that?
00:12:35.620 Yeah.
00:12:36.560 So they apologize.
00:12:37.720 Nobody thinks it's good enough.
00:12:39.700 And some celebrities kind of responded to this, but nobody who's like directly involved
00:12:48.260 with the brand, nobody interesting other than conservatives who we all know would condemn
00:12:52.960 this sort of thing.
00:12:53.560 Exactly.
00:12:53.860 So we've seen condemnations from like, uh, Tucker Carlson, Tucker Carlson, uh, Evie Magazine
00:13:00.540 has talked about it.
00:13:01.500 Allie Beth Stuckey.
00:13:02.300 Allie Beth Stuckey.
00:13:03.020 He, all sorts of conservative people that you would expect.
00:13:06.360 Um, there was one, I have it written down here.
00:13:10.120 There's this one guy who plays for the Rams.
00:13:13.160 Love that guy.
00:13:14.020 He is a, uh.
00:13:15.160 What's his name?
00:13:16.440 Hooper Cupp.
00:13:17.520 Oh, I love my favorite Ram.
00:13:19.280 Hooper Cupp.
00:13:20.080 He's my.
00:13:20.340 So you all were holding your breath to find out what he thought about this.
00:13:23.000 I certainly was.
00:13:24.120 He condemned it.
00:13:25.100 That's good.
00:13:25.760 That's good.
00:13:26.140 That's a start.
00:13:26.860 I mean.
00:13:27.240 That's it.
00:13:27.820 I like, I really think.
00:13:28.820 That's where it begins and ends.
00:13:29.580 I think Allie Beth Stuckey put it really well.
00:13:32.480 She said, so Balenciaga used toddlers to advertise BDSM trinkets.
00:13:36.720 And the only mainstream outlet I've seen cover it is Fox.
00:13:39.580 Someone tell me why this is apparently a partisan issue.
00:13:42.740 And it's like, it's so true because whatever.
00:13:46.340 If you like Balenciaga, cool, peaches and cream.
00:13:48.960 Like you're allowed to like their clothes.
00:13:50.740 We were looking at them before.
00:13:51.980 They're quite odd.
00:13:52.980 I don't like them.
00:13:53.820 Yeah.
00:13:54.040 But that's a face thing.
00:13:55.200 But it's okay.
00:13:55.860 It's subjective.
00:13:56.700 I have it.
00:13:57.280 Just kidding.
00:13:57.720 Right.
00:13:58.480 She has it.
00:13:59.380 I don't.
00:13:59.860 I kind of like the alien glasses.
00:14:01.200 But protecting children should, like, it's really not, it's not a left or right issue.
00:14:07.740 It's not a Catholic, Christian, Muslim issue.
00:14:10.920 We should all be on board with this.
00:14:11.240 It's, it's, everybody should be on board.
00:14:13.000 Absolutely.
00:14:13.580 It's, it's just ridiculous that you all want your true colors to show.
00:14:18.400 Yeah.
00:14:18.840 In not reacting to this and not responding or criticizing.
00:14:21.600 It's so easy to say that this is bad.
00:14:24.060 Like it's objectively bad.
00:14:25.440 Yeah.
00:14:26.460 So Bella Hadid had a post because she was in one of the recent campaigns and she deleted the whole gallery of.
00:14:33.280 It didn't say anything.
00:14:34.140 Didn't say anything though.
00:14:35.480 That's like silent, quiet like a mouse.
00:14:38.780 Although a mouse actually makes more noise than that.
00:14:40.460 She's a coward.
00:14:41.140 She just completely deleted it.
00:14:42.580 But like, and not because, I bet it's not because she actually gives a crap about the campaign.
00:14:47.340 It's because she didn't want to face any backlash.
00:14:49.080 If she gave a crap, she would say something.
00:14:50.620 Yeah, exactly.
00:14:51.380 But she didn't.
00:14:52.140 And that's the thing.
00:14:52.860 So many of these celebrities are outspoken about all these social justice, you know, activism and all these sorts of things.
00:15:00.220 Like Ukraine, Iran, all these things.
00:15:02.840 And that when it comes to something that really counts, nope.
00:15:06.940 Yeah.
00:15:07.520 Blair White made an interesting point about it too.
00:15:09.880 She said if Balenciaga had made a campaign that offended the LGBTQISP community, every celebrity would be condemning it.
00:15:20.680 It would be like, you know, Kanye West.
00:15:23.460 Yeah.
00:15:24.300 It's so true.
00:15:25.140 As of this taping, which we tape on Monday, like afternoon, as of right now, I was just on Twitter looking at like top tweets, latest tweets, and there's literally nothing other than the conservative people that we mentioned.
00:15:39.260 Yeah.
00:15:39.460 And then just a bunch of randos.
00:15:40.940 Yeah.
00:15:41.200 Random users.
00:15:41.680 And then, of course, yesterday, Kim Kardashian finally broke her silence.
00:15:46.340 So yesterday was, I think, Sunday.
00:15:47.920 Yes.
00:15:49.140 Six days into this whole thing, Kim Kardashian finally makes a statement.
00:15:53.240 And it's kind of long, but I guess we can read it.
00:15:55.140 Make sure you screenshot it, folks.
00:15:56.720 Yeah, because it'll be deleted in no time.
00:15:58.320 She said, I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven't been shocked and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.
00:16:09.420 As a mother of four, I have been shaken by those disturbing images.
00:16:12.420 The safety of children must be held with the highest regard, and anything against it should have no place in our society, period.
00:16:18.460 I appreciate Balenciaga's removal of the campaign and apology.
00:16:22.440 In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measurements for this to never happen again.
00:16:28.720 As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with, and the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children.
00:16:42.360 So that's like the weakest statement ever.
00:16:46.740 Almost everyone I saw on Twitter was commenting like, this is nothing.
00:16:51.140 You're saying nothing right now.
00:16:52.320 Well, what's to re-evaluate?
00:16:53.940 That's what I want to know.
00:16:54.840 What is there to re-evaluate?
00:16:56.660 Like, they are promoting child pornography.
00:16:59.640 Like, it's pretty clear what you need to do, Kim, as a mother of four especially.
00:17:03.740 Like, I cannot understand how anyone who has raised children, who hopefully loves their children and wants to take care of them, could be like, yes, this is okay.
00:17:13.320 Yeah.
00:17:13.520 I just don't understand that.
00:17:14.400 Well, I have very low expectations of her.
00:17:16.920 Yeah.
00:17:17.120 So, I'm not shocked by it, but it's, like, it's just so obvious that, like, one of the notes I wrote was, like, it's a way that we live in this world where this celebrity reality star who's known for really nothing but just sharing nudity and her butt and, like, having money and making more money off of that money.
00:17:37.340 I mean, exactly, this person who's known for really nothing wholesome at all has to make this, like, PR-like politician statement on something.
00:17:45.440 Putting her legal training to use.
00:17:46.920 Exactly, exactly.
00:17:47.800 And I'm sure she didn't write this alone.
00:17:49.900 No.
00:17:50.120 I mean, it kind of, like, some of the wording, I'm like, you know, it's on the smartest, but I'm sure she had, like, lots of, well, actually, we know that because she posted this and then deleted it and then reposted it.
00:18:00.980 Reposted it with, like, slightly different words, like, stronger language, apparently.
00:18:05.640 Right.
00:18:06.980 That's funny.
00:18:07.640 So, it's, like, clearly this was, like, a PR apology.
00:18:12.760 It's not enough.
00:18:13.520 And it's not.
00:18:14.160 And she's saying, like, I'm currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand based off their willingness to accept accountability.
00:18:19.240 Well, there's no, there's no way they can't accept accountability.
00:18:23.620 They've, well, they're not really, though, because they're placing blame on the production company.
00:18:28.840 So, unless they drop this lawsuit, she's going to drop them?
00:18:31.280 Like, no way.
00:18:31.880 Right.
00:18:32.320 So, like, Kim, like, what's going on?
00:18:34.340 Are you going to allow them to blame the production company and blame the photographer who they hired and gave ideas to and greenlit the idea to go live?
00:18:45.260 Like, it makes no sense.
00:18:47.060 Because if Balenciaga were truly sorry for what they did, they would have fired everybody at the company and just started over.
00:18:54.280 I think so.
00:18:55.020 Because there's just no, how do you, how do you remedy this?
00:18:58.100 You can't.
00:18:58.840 You got to start from scratch.
00:19:00.360 Yeah.
00:19:00.700 So, if that's what she should be saying, fire everyone.
00:19:03.420 Yeah.
00:19:03.560 Just get rid of them all.
00:19:04.680 Let's start fresh with some, like, conservatives.
00:19:07.160 Maybe Kat and Nat can be your new, you know.
00:19:09.820 So, if they want to go in another direction with, like, nice clothes.
00:19:13.900 I'm down for that.
00:19:14.760 And, like, a little, like, Christian.
00:19:17.640 You know, conservative.
00:19:18.840 That'd be cute.
00:19:19.480 Like, pro-life.
00:19:20.260 I don't know.
00:19:20.600 That'd be kind of cute.
00:19:21.180 That'd be so cute.
00:19:22.000 We're open to it.
00:19:22.740 We're open to it.
00:19:23.540 We'll re-evaluate our relationship.
00:19:25.300 Yeah.
00:19:25.560 If they go in a completely different direction and fire everyone.
00:19:28.340 Including the creative director, Demna Gavsalia.
00:19:36.380 Vissalia.
00:19:37.060 Vissalia.
00:19:37.600 You're probably right.
00:19:38.400 It's probably silent G.
00:19:40.000 Who's this guy?
00:19:42.520 He said, spokespeople for the company have said that they had not approved the campaign.
00:19:49.480 What?
00:19:50.420 Then you got some bigger issues.
00:19:52.060 Like, dude, you're the creative director.
00:19:53.600 Yeah.
00:19:53.920 If you didn't approve this, like, that's the thing.
00:19:55.580 They're just like, oh, someone else is like, bro, that's your job.
00:19:58.780 Creative director.
00:19:59.800 It's just like hot potato.
00:20:00.900 No one wants to take accountability for it.
00:20:03.020 And it's either there is really one person to blame here.
00:20:06.480 Or they all knew about it.
00:20:08.540 And they're just kind of, you know, giving us the runaround.
00:20:11.820 Yeah.
00:20:12.140 So that no one has to actually speak about it and own up to it.
00:20:15.780 That's like if you and I posted some really gross content on this show.
00:20:20.600 And then we're like, we never approved it.
00:20:22.800 It was Olivia.
00:20:24.380 Yeah.
00:20:24.500 Like, it was Mike.
00:20:25.900 It was Mike.
00:20:26.580 We can't be responsible for that.
00:20:27.960 It's like, it's your show.
00:20:29.040 Yeah.
00:20:29.220 You see, you foresee it.
00:20:31.160 You look over everything that goes out before it goes out.
00:20:33.600 Yeah.
00:20:33.620 No one is accountable for you but you.
00:20:36.580 Like, you are the only one.
00:20:37.820 Yeah.
00:20:38.340 You're responsible for you, babes.
00:20:40.240 Babes.
00:20:40.360 Sorry.
00:20:40.900 It's like pretty simple.
00:20:42.420 Yeah.
00:20:42.800 It's pretty simple.
00:20:43.480 And then, should we talk about the stylus?
00:20:46.180 It's just so, it's so this is what we were talking before about the rabbit hole.
00:20:49.260 It's like, okay, this is some weird stuff.
00:20:51.140 It just keeps going.
00:20:52.520 The more, every second I refresh my Twitter this morning, there was something else.
00:20:57.420 I was like, oh my God.
00:20:58.380 And that's like, okay, we need, we can't stop.
00:21:01.020 It's really bad.
00:21:01.900 It's bad.
00:21:02.720 It gets worse though.
00:21:04.560 It's bad and it gets worse guys.
00:21:05.940 It's really bad and it gets worse.
00:21:07.360 Yeah.
00:21:07.880 So, there's this, one of the head stylists there.
00:21:12.080 She's a designer but she's also a stylist.
00:21:14.220 I don't really know.
00:21:15.300 Her name is Lada Volkova.
00:21:18.500 And she had an Instagram page.
00:21:21.840 I tried to find it and I did find something that looked like her but it didn't have any of this stuff on it.
00:21:27.620 Right.
00:21:28.520 So, I'm not sure.
00:21:29.680 So, anyways, she had an Instagram page with super highly disturbing images.
00:21:34.360 Could we bring up some of those, Olivia?
00:21:36.720 Yeah.
00:21:37.220 So, just for some background on her, she's been one of the main stylists at Balenciaga since 2014.
00:21:42.020 She has a relationship with an accused pedophile.
00:21:44.640 I did not know that.
00:21:45.880 Yeah.
00:21:48.660 Interesting.
00:21:49.920 She's worked with Vogue, Adidas, Balenciaga, Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, amongst others.
00:21:55.260 Marc Jacobs, constantly comments on her Instagram posts.
00:21:58.420 She, just like Gosha, who, Gosha Rubchitsky, a Russian fashion designer, have an interest in really young looking boys.
00:22:07.240 She seems to enjoy art and pictures that depict children either in distress, bondage, or something of that nature.
00:22:11.740 And she has a weird fetish, allegedly, for teddy bears, which actually, I did not know this, there's a meme called Pedo Bear, which went around, but also is interestingly how pedos recognize other pedos, apparently.
00:22:25.300 Am I pedo?
00:22:26.620 No.
00:22:26.920 I have a lot of teddy bears.
00:22:27.780 No, I don't think so.
00:22:28.620 Okay.
00:22:29.480 Yeah.
00:22:29.780 I think you know you were pedo.
00:22:32.200 Okay.
00:22:32.600 Yeah.
00:22:32.940 You're probably right.
00:22:33.780 Yeah.
00:22:34.400 Anyway.
00:22:34.660 I just have them, they just sit there and that's it.
00:22:37.180 And one of the other things this thread notes is that there are a lot of reoccurring themes of teddy bears in the fashion world.
00:22:44.380 So what does that mean?
00:22:45.620 I don't know, this person who made this thread doesn't know either, but it's interesting.
00:22:50.440 It is creepy.
00:22:51.140 It's symbolism.
00:22:52.420 Yeah.
00:22:53.300 A lot of the photos on her Instagram are, there's a picture of like a young prepubescent boy with his face down on the ground and there's like a big, like bloody cut on his back.
00:23:04.920 Yeah.
00:23:04.940 It looks like a track mark.
00:23:06.880 Yeah, like someone drove over him or something.
00:23:08.840 Um, there's a picture of a little girl who's, has like headphones like taped to her head and she's all taped up like on a chair with her legs kind of spread and her eyes and mouth covered.
00:23:22.660 Yeah.
00:23:23.260 Um, being like forced to listen to something.
00:23:25.980 It's very disturbing.
00:23:27.560 Very.
00:23:28.280 It's super disturbing.
00:23:29.480 And apparently, so like I've never heard of this person before I started reading about this.
00:23:34.380 Um, and I, so I clearly didn't go to her Instagram, so I can't confirm if the stuff was actually there.
00:23:38.440 But people took screenshots and apparently now it's all gone.
00:23:41.840 Yeah.
00:23:42.240 This is, this is one of those things.
00:23:43.560 Convenient.
00:23:44.740 Exactly.
00:23:45.240 Like, I don't know for sure myself, but this guy, Jake Shields, who I think he's a UFC fighter.
00:23:49.660 Um, he took screenshots of all of this stuff, but again, we're just, we're just delivering the messages to you all.
00:23:59.800 We're the messengers.
00:24:00.300 This is what they claim.
00:24:01.200 Yes.
00:24:01.660 I don't know for a fact, but, uh, she seems creepy.
00:24:06.280 Yeah.
00:24:06.520 Enough.
00:24:07.560 She does.
00:24:08.000 Um, and then there's the other dark symbolism.
00:24:11.940 Yeah.
00:24:12.160 Uh, so one of the pictures, uh, from the Balenciaga child photo has Balenciaga spelled on tape, spelled B-A-A-L-E-N-C-I-A-G-A.
00:24:24.160 And for those of you who don't know, Baal is a Canaanite deity whose kids were rituistically sacrificed.
00:24:29.420 Um, so he was a God worshipped by the Israelites when they went astray after the death of Gideon, according to Hebrew scriptures.
00:24:35.280 So really, really not lovey-dovey stuff.
00:24:39.760 It's really warm and fuzzy, um, for sure.
00:24:42.880 It's just like, so Balenciaga can be like, oh, we didn't know about the paper.
00:24:49.800 Oh no.
00:24:50.220 But then there's literally satanic symbols.
00:24:52.500 Yeah.
00:24:52.780 And so like the, the Balenciaga thing, it's like you said, it's police tape.
00:24:57.060 Yeah.
00:24:57.280 That's printed with the extra A in it.
00:24:59.500 So you-
00:25:00.220 Someone had to print that.
00:25:01.160 You had to print that.
00:25:01.980 You had to go and let it print it.
00:25:03.540 Exactly.
00:25:03.940 Yeah.
00:25:04.080 That's not just something you have laying around.
00:25:05.360 Like someone could have printed, I guess someone could have printed at a page with a creepy
00:25:08.780 court document on it and put it on the table.
00:25:11.180 Sure.
00:25:11.560 Maybe a hundred people who looked at it didn't notice.
00:25:14.120 I guess maybe that's possible.
00:25:16.300 But printing special novelty tape that's supposed to be like police tape, but it's Balenciaga and
00:25:22.000 it's spelt Baal with two A's.
00:25:25.360 That's no accident.
00:25:26.360 No, it's not.
00:25:26.980 And then there's a weird drawing next to the, there's another photo which has like a rabbit
00:25:31.820 and it literally shows this entity, Baal.
00:25:35.760 It's just, it's there.
00:25:37.220 It's just there more than once.
00:25:38.700 So it's on the tape and then it's in a drawing and it's very hard to see.
00:25:42.480 It's, it's in plain sight though, you guys.
00:25:45.320 It's satanic.
00:25:46.240 It's, it's really nice and beautiful.
00:25:48.540 It's great.
00:25:48.640 Cute stuff.
00:25:48.920 We love it.
00:25:49.320 And there's other interesting imagery in this photo.
00:25:51.940 There's a lot of rainbow imagery.
00:25:56.160 There is, so one of them, the guy in this thread basically says,
00:26:01.940 that when he's analyzing it is, he's the example of Kubrick's last movie, Eyes Wide Shut,
00:26:06.780 which is an expose on elite Satanism and sexual abuse.
00:26:09.880 Rainbows are prominent in the movie.
00:26:11.400 So two women try to lead Tom's character.
00:26:13.840 I guess that's one of the, Tom Cruise.
00:26:15.360 Yeah.
00:26:15.580 Okay.
00:26:15.740 Tom Cruise's character away in the beginning.
00:26:17.600 And he asks where they are going and they say where the rainbow ends, which is an allegedly
00:26:22.200 an allusion to elite pedophilia along with the rabbit symbolism, the white rabbit,
00:26:25.920 which we know from Alice in Wonderland, allegedly Lewis Carroll also has a pedophilic obsession.
00:26:33.040 And then there's another point that this person makes that the boy in the image is wearing
00:26:39.140 ruby red slippers.
00:26:40.860 Follow the yellow brick road.
00:26:43.240 So basically it's ruining everything for everyone.
00:26:46.280 This whole Balenciaga thing.
00:26:48.920 Yeah.
00:26:49.140 Again, these are all, who knows, like we don't know what's necessarily true, but there just
00:26:54.480 seems to be so much.
00:26:56.360 That's the thing.
00:26:57.240 Symbolism.
00:26:57.520 Even if half of this is BS that people are Photoshopping on the internet.
00:27:01.060 It's a lot.
00:27:01.840 The other half is probably true.
00:27:03.340 Yeah.
00:27:03.680 There's just a lot going on.
00:27:04.980 There's, um, so this article from Evie highlights this other thing that people notice on Twitter,
00:27:10.020 which is, uh, the, this is just a quote from the article.
00:27:12.960 Renowned fashion brand Balenciaga was pressured into taking down its recent campaign, yada,
00:27:16.940 yada, yada.
00:27:17.720 However, their most recent campaign that replaced the creepy photos of minors is just as twisted
00:27:22.340 and dark featuring art that glamorizes pedophilia, cannibalism, and slavery.
00:27:26.160 So there's this artist named, um, hold on.
00:27:31.540 Oh, yes.
00:27:32.320 What's his name?
00:27:32.980 Oh, Michael Bormans.
00:27:33.940 Yes.
00:27:34.760 So in, again, didn't know who this person was until yesterday.
00:27:39.600 Just because you're not a creepy pedophile.
00:27:40.880 Yes.
00:27:41.260 Thank you.
00:27:41.700 That's very nice.
00:27:42.180 I think that's probably it.
00:27:43.160 Yeah, pretty much.
00:27:43.920 Um, so in the, like this, like I just said, in the campaign that replaced the one with
00:27:49.920 the creepy bears and the children, there's a woman at a desk in an office and behind
00:27:55.600 her is a, is a stack of books.
00:27:58.360 And one of the books is of this art artist, Michael Bormans.
00:28:01.080 And when you Google Michael Bormans.
00:28:04.580 Don't, by the way.
00:28:05.500 Don't.
00:28:06.120 I'm going to, I'm going to put it in.
00:28:07.760 Yeah.
00:28:08.000 So sorry.
00:28:08.660 Shield your eyes.
00:28:09.200 Don't watch this episode with kids around.
00:28:10.760 Don't watch the episode.
00:28:11.500 This is just don't watch it.
00:28:12.420 Yeah.
00:28:12.620 Yeah.
00:28:12.880 It's disgusting.
00:28:14.540 When you Google it, you'll, you'll see it's all highly disturbing, dark.
00:28:19.080 Like, again, I don't mind dark.
00:28:21.360 I don't mind art, but, but a lot of it involves children.
00:28:24.620 So it's highly disturbing, dark art, really creepy stuff that involves children with hoods
00:28:29.900 on their face masks and tied up and really creepy stuff.
00:28:34.080 And then someone else on Twitter, Twitter's cool.
00:28:36.540 Yeah.
00:28:36.980 Um, pointed out that the outfit that Kim and Kanye wore to, I think it was the Met Gala.
00:28:41.960 Yes, it was.
00:28:42.580 Yeah.
00:28:42.800 A couple of years ago, 2019, maybe.
00:28:44.420 No, it was like one before last.
00:28:46.100 2020.
00:28:46.820 So was there 2021 Met Gala, I think.
00:28:49.620 Um, so Kim and Kanye wore all black outfits with their faces completely covered and it
00:28:54.660 really resembles some of the paintings of Michael Borman's.
00:28:58.240 Um, yeah, it's just creepy.
00:29:00.340 And, and the thing is, it's like, fine, that's adults, but there's also paintings of children
00:29:04.240 doing that.
00:29:04.760 And then there's also a picture of Northwest wearing a similar kind of gimp mask walking
00:29:11.220 around, I think Paris Fashion Week or something like that, where her face is completely covered
00:29:15.360 in a black mask.
00:29:17.260 Yeah.
00:29:17.500 I mean, this, this Michael Borman, like the, the images have, it's toddlers running around
00:29:22.360 naked and stuff.
00:29:23.240 Like it's, there's like, it's witchcraft, like resemblance and symbolism too, in a lot
00:29:28.380 of these images.
00:29:28.880 And then also another thing to note about, um, this image that Kat just described in
00:29:35.300 the office, um, there's like a certificate in a frame and, uh, the name in it is John
00:29:41.880 Philip Fisher, who is allegedly someone who was accused of sexually molesting his granddaughter
00:29:48.400 from the ages of four to 16 years old.
00:29:50.700 Yeah.
00:29:50.940 That's pretty, why?
00:29:52.120 That's pretty pointed.
00:29:53.260 Why?
00:29:53.680 Like it's like, why?
00:29:55.260 Why put that name there?
00:29:57.640 Yeah.
00:29:58.060 I, I don't know.
00:29:59.280 It's so weird.
00:30:00.480 Cause it's art.
00:30:01.260 Cause it's cool.
00:30:02.220 Like sell your $7,000 bathrobe.
00:30:04.960 Who cares?
00:30:06.460 But why do you have to make it creepy with kids?
00:30:08.580 Is there some, does that make the value of the clothing higher?
00:30:13.020 Is everyone just bored?
00:30:13.900 Cause Epstein's gone and they're like, let's figure out a new way to torment children.
00:30:18.100 And that's what, that's actually something we should talk about though, because I'm very
00:30:22.640 confused about how it's in plain sight.
00:30:25.060 Yeah.
00:30:25.160 Normally they just kind of, maybe like some, some conspiracy theorists, you know, are like,
00:30:31.480 Oh, do you notice that symbolism?
00:30:33.020 You know, Justin Bieber is doing this and he means he's of something, you know?
00:30:37.340 Yeah.
00:30:37.620 Okay.
00:30:37.860 Sure.
00:30:38.200 But this is just out in plain sight.
00:30:41.100 I find that very odd.
00:30:42.680 Like, is this, are they distracting us from something?
00:30:45.200 Yeah.
00:30:45.640 Like, what are they doing?
00:30:46.640 That's another thing.
00:30:47.400 It's like, are they just feeding trolls right now?
00:30:49.800 Right.
00:30:50.280 Like, are they not pedophiles at all?
00:30:52.140 And they're just doing all this imagery?
00:30:53.400 Or they're distracting from something even more sinister.
00:30:55.580 Exactly.
00:30:56.700 I really don't know the answer.
00:30:58.060 Or are they laughing at all the people who care about children?
00:31:00.100 Like, Oh, ha ha.
00:31:00.900 Stupid conservatives getting their panties in a knot over this stuff.
00:31:04.340 It's like, but what are you, why?
00:31:07.000 Like, why are you doing this?
00:31:08.540 But then on the other hand, why would Kim Kardashian apologize?
00:31:09.840 And why would they scrub the images?
00:31:11.180 It just makes no sense.
00:31:12.240 I feel like.
00:31:12.700 Yeah.
00:31:12.860 That's the thing.
00:31:13.300 If it was a troll, they'd just be like, ha ha ha.
00:31:15.400 Exactly.
00:31:16.000 Do you think this is like a red herring, maybe?
00:31:18.040 Where they're distracting us from something even worse?
00:31:20.140 But what?
00:31:20.800 I don't know.
00:31:21.540 But like, sure, these are images and images are powerful and art is very influential and
00:31:26.740 it's, it's all evil and stuff.
00:31:28.220 But what's really going on here?
00:31:29.620 There has to be something going on.
00:31:31.060 But if they were actually, like, if there was actually this abuse going on, why would
00:31:37.020 they highlight it?
00:31:38.160 Why would they shine the spotlight on themselves?
00:31:39.280 That's what I don't understand.
00:31:40.380 It's so weird.
00:31:41.180 It's very confusing.
00:31:42.520 And that's why, I mean, there's just so many rabbit holes we can go down.
00:31:47.080 And, and one of the things that's interesting is that this is really exposing that it's
00:31:51.640 not just Balenciaga.
00:31:53.140 No.
00:31:53.280 There are other brands.
00:31:54.820 Yeah.
00:31:55.380 And a lot of these.
00:31:56.160 Who must be.
00:31:56.700 Yeah.
00:31:56.960 And, and like this person that we already spoke about, Lota Volkova.
00:32:02.220 Yeah.
00:32:02.560 Lota Volkova.
00:32:03.580 And then there are the creative director, Demna Vassil.
00:32:07.700 Yeah.
00:32:08.360 Both of them.
00:32:08.960 They've probably, like, I know for a fact that Lota has worked at other companies.
00:32:12.900 I think Gucci may be one of them.
00:32:14.100 Yeah.
00:32:14.180 We mentioned a couple of those.
00:32:15.620 Yeah.
00:32:15.960 So like, yeah, I kind of cut you off, but it's like, they are, there's a lot of like
00:32:21.080 mixing and mingling going on with these high fashion brands.
00:32:24.380 A lot of incest.
00:32:25.220 Yeah.
00:32:25.500 And like, I love fashion.
00:32:26.980 Me too.
00:32:27.820 I can't afford it, but I love it.
00:32:29.600 But I like to pretend I can.
00:32:31.580 Exactly.
00:32:32.160 And I like to look at it and we like to talk about it.
00:32:34.420 Yeah.
00:32:34.740 And now it's like, how many of these people are making these beautiful pieces of art,
00:32:39.100 excluding Balenciaga, in my opinion?
00:32:41.300 Well, some of this is cool, but that coat.
00:32:43.280 Anyways.
00:32:43.660 Yeah.
00:32:44.360 How many of these people are making this beautiful art, but then are also doing super creepy,
00:32:49.060 evil, evil stuff, satanic things?
00:32:51.080 And why?
00:32:51.960 Yeah.
00:32:52.240 I just don't understand.
00:32:53.200 Why do they have to be connected at all?
00:32:54.880 I don't get that.
00:32:55.320 Just make the coat.
00:32:56.400 I know.
00:32:56.800 Do you have to be evil and satanic and allegedly abuse children to make beautiful works of art?
00:33:02.760 And if something's bad, like, call it out and cut ties.
00:33:06.620 Like, Vogue and Balenciaga and all these places were so quick to cut ties with Kanye West.
00:33:10.540 And we're not going to get into that.
00:33:11.940 No, but like, if you have an opinion about something and you're like, that I find morally
00:33:16.840 reprehensible, go ahead.
00:33:18.460 Cut ties.
00:33:18.820 Right.
00:33:19.020 Cut ties.
00:33:19.600 But then do it.
00:33:20.540 Like, actually do it.
00:33:21.300 Like, why is no one cutting ties?
00:33:22.900 Why is this?
00:33:23.400 Like, that's another thing people have been saying on the internet.
00:33:25.340 They're like, Kim broke up with Kanye over a MAGA hat.
00:33:27.840 We don't know.
00:33:28.900 Right.
00:33:29.200 I'm sure there's a little more involved.
00:33:30.520 But yeah, sure.
00:33:30.920 But she's, like, silent about, like, pedophilia.
00:33:33.340 Right.
00:33:33.540 And it's like, where's Vogue?
00:33:34.960 Like, Anna Wintour.
00:33:36.160 Yeah.
00:33:36.520 Where are you at, girl?
00:33:37.880 She'll go off on Kanye West on Twitter for his ugly boots.
00:33:41.540 And they'll say things like, Trump will never be allowed back at the Met Gala because he's
00:33:45.760 offended you so much, Anna Wintour.
00:33:48.040 But yet, pedophilia is fine.
00:33:50.680 This is fine.
00:33:51.120 It's totally cool, right?
00:33:52.080 Because it's art.
00:33:53.000 And also, they didn't know.
00:33:54.420 And also, they apologized.
00:33:55.700 Which one is it?
00:33:56.480 Yeah, which one is it?
00:33:57.140 Which one is it?
00:33:57.640 It can't be all of those things.
00:33:58.680 It's either art and they're going to stand by it or they didn't know and they're going
00:34:01.960 to delete it or they, I mean, that's, I guess that's it.
00:34:04.600 But it's like, it can't be both of those things.
00:34:06.060 No.
00:34:06.260 And some things are just objectively bad.
00:34:07.860 It's okay.
00:34:08.360 It's okay.
00:34:09.040 It was a miss.
00:34:09.920 Yeah.
00:34:10.500 It was a miss.
00:34:11.040 It was a really bad miss.
00:34:13.320 And I have a quote because I think a lot of this is sort of spiritual in a way.
00:34:19.380 C.S.
00:34:19.700 Lewis said this.
00:34:20.440 So, there is no neutral ground in the universe.
00:34:22.660 Every square inch, every split second is claimed by God and counter claimed by Satan.
00:34:27.280 And I think right now we're seeing, we're seeing that play out in real time.
00:34:32.460 And I think it's.
00:34:33.160 Yeah, you're either with them or you're against them.
00:34:34.820 Exactly.
00:34:35.100 And you should be against them.
00:34:35.900 And even though it's really, it's tough to see all this and know about this.
00:34:40.240 I mean, it's ignorance is bliss.
00:34:41.880 It's, it's interesting that it's being exposed.
00:34:44.380 It's interesting.
00:34:44.900 And it's good that it's being exposed.
00:34:46.500 If all this is like, I don't even know.
00:34:48.240 Like, it's, there's so much, like, who knows what's true and I don't know.
00:34:51.380 It's just overwhelming.
00:34:52.980 But it's just one of those things.
00:34:54.440 It's like, at least half of it has to be true.
00:34:56.540 Yeah.
00:34:57.280 And.
00:34:57.540 Like, the truth is somewhere between the, like, either it's none of it's true or all
00:35:02.180 of it's true.
00:35:02.520 Right.
00:35:02.620 It's probably somewhere in the middle where some of it's true.
00:35:04.880 I think a big takeaway is that these people are showing you exactly who they are.
00:35:09.440 Yeah.
00:35:09.680 And it's.
00:35:10.240 And they don't care about morals.
00:35:11.780 No.
00:35:12.400 They claim to.
00:35:13.020 And at least they're admitting it, I guess.
00:35:14.800 But it just means that there is, we're at a crossroads in our culture, I think, where
00:35:18.900 like, and I'm not into cancel culture at all, but this isn't, you're not, I think, though,
00:35:24.120 when you do something.
00:35:25.140 No, but you can boycott.
00:35:26.100 Yeah.
00:35:27.320 We're boycotting.
00:35:28.560 But when someone does something, like, just disgusting and despicable and evil, you can't,
00:35:35.460 you can't support it anymore.
00:35:36.760 So throw out your Balenciaga or donate it to, no, I won't wear it.
00:35:42.240 Yeah, no.
00:35:43.040 I'll wear it under my shirt.
00:35:44.660 No.
00:35:44.760 Yeah.
00:35:45.020 I probably won't.
00:35:45.800 I mean, for $600, like, they are literally selling those Adidas, I know we've talked about
00:35:49.960 this already, but I'm just going to say it.
00:35:51.180 They are selling Adidas Balenciaga collab t-shirts right now on the website.
00:35:55.780 You can go to it.
00:35:56.520 And they're literally just a plain t-shirt that says Balenciaga with the Adidas logo
00:36:02.600 on it, and they're like $600, $800.
00:36:04.820 Yeah.
00:36:05.120 And I'm like, they must be so soft.
00:36:07.220 I would hope that it's like the softest cotton ever.
00:36:10.020 I hope it's handmade.
00:36:11.220 I hope it's handmade by, like, princesses, not child slaves in China, which it probably
00:36:15.580 is made in China.
00:36:16.380 Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're made in China.
00:36:18.460 What the heck is that about?
00:36:19.900 Yeah.
00:36:20.600 That's a whole other thing.
00:36:21.580 That's a whole other thing, which we'll maybe talk about one day.
00:36:24.080 Maybe.
00:36:25.120 There's so much more we could say.
00:36:27.120 I have so many notes, but I feel like you kind of touched on everything.
00:36:29.900 I know.
00:36:30.640 Kim Kardashian, really weak apology, the Rams guy.
00:36:35.660 Yeah.
00:36:36.440 Satanic symbols.
00:36:37.360 Yeah.
00:36:37.940 And pedophilia.
00:36:39.040 Someone saying something, even though I don't know who that guy is.
00:36:41.160 Oh, I actually wrote down something.
00:36:42.480 Yes.
00:36:42.740 So in September of this past year, 2022, Madonna posted a picture of her wearing Balenciaga,
00:36:50.840 and the tweet was, bitch, I am Balenciaga.
00:36:53.000 Not a big deal, whatever.
00:36:55.080 But people did some digging on Madonna.
00:36:58.580 Oh, no.
00:36:58.940 And in 1992, she wrote a book about, I think it's just called Sex.
00:37:03.160 And in it, she describes in depth how she had sex with a teenager.
00:37:10.180 She calls him a baby and goes into great deal about how smooth and young and inexperienced
00:37:16.020 he was.
00:37:17.080 And he might have been 18.
00:37:19.160 Like, it doesn't say.
00:37:20.280 It doesn't matter.
00:37:20.980 But it's so creepy.
00:37:22.680 Ew.
00:37:22.780 She's so creepy.
00:37:24.560 She's so creepy.
00:37:25.840 The whole thing is about how younger people, it's, like, very erotic.
00:37:28.880 And it's just, like, Madonna.
00:37:30.620 Anyway, so my point is.
00:37:31.640 That's called a fetish.
00:37:32.120 It's so disgusting.
00:37:33.100 Yeah.
00:37:33.340 So, like, I don't know if this person was under 18, but.
00:37:36.820 Even so, it's, yeah.
00:37:38.860 Really gross.
00:37:39.560 So we can't expect any statements from Madonna condemning Balenciaga anytime soon.
00:37:43.620 Okay, good to know.
00:37:44.460 I was waiting for her.
00:37:45.580 Yeah, I was holding my breath and I was going blue in the face.
00:37:47.480 She's just a, she's a vision of morality leading us all to the promised land.
00:37:53.380 Great.
00:37:53.800 Well, that was a great, great way to end this.
00:37:56.080 That was fun.
