00:00:00.000 This podcast is brought to you by Revel News. That's right. So if you want to support us,
00:00:05.940 why not do it in a win-win fashion by shopping for yourself? One of my favorite things to do,
00:00:12.140 head to revelnewsstore.com to pick the patriotic gear that pleases your heart.

00:00:30.000 Oh, hey, good morning. Good afternoon, everybody. Depending on which part of this beautiful
00:00:42.260 country that you're in, the part of the beautiful country that I'm in is Banff, Alberta. And I'm
00:00:47.620 joined by my co-host who is in beautiful Regina, Saskatchewan, Lise Merle. And you are watching
00:00:54.280 our daily news and opinion live stream, Rebel Roundup. Lise, how's it going?
00:00:59.080 Well, hello, my beloved Sheila Gunn-Reed, and I hope it's going well for you in beautiful
00:01:05.280 Kananaskis, Alberta. I'm still coming off the high I got from meeting over 700 rebels in Red Deer,
00:01:12.280 Alberta this weekend and receiving all of that love. As you know, it is my favorite. It is my
00:01:18.400 absolute, it gives me life to meet our viewers in the wild. And we got to spend a good deal of time
00:01:25.880 with 700 of them. And it was incredible. How are you in Kananaskis?
00:01:31.760 You know, I'm real glad that I met 700 people that are cheering for us to continue on and to work hard
00:01:41.260 and to bring the message of the normal people. Because I am in one of the most beautiful and
00:01:47.760 most photographed places on the face of the earth. However, I'm penned up with like 1400
00:01:53.700 journalists here at the Banff Media Centre. Because we're not allowed in Kananaskis. That's
00:02:00.800 only for pooled media to get over there. And so we're here and I'm here with some of the crazy
00:02:08.380 lunatics from the leaders debate who heckled us for two straight days there. They have me for three
00:02:15.800 days here, although no heckling has occurred. And I think it's because of the extreme police presence.
00:02:21.680 I'm here covering, of course, the G7, the meeting of the G7, Carney's first and Trump's first post
00:02:30.720 re-election. And it has been anticlimactic here, because Trump was here for one day and then he left.
00:02:38.300 And there was there was no Canadian deal struck. He Trump came here and he signed a deal that was
00:02:46.580 already negotiated with the UK. So they got her done. And with Carney, Trump and Carney agreed to
00:02:54.820 keep talking, which is, I guess, the status quo. And if you see the mainstream media reporting this,
00:03:03.960 they're like, well, that's breaking. Trump and Carney agreed to keep talking. Are you running out of
00:03:10.860 headlines? Like you're running out of headlines. And then since Trump left last night to deal with
00:03:19.360 escalating conflicts between Iran and Israel, my entertainment value for the day has plummeted,
00:03:29.760 because today Zelensky is in town. And I was just waiting for a repeat of before. Instead,
00:03:37.500 I found out that the Canadian taxpayer is giving him $2 billion. But we can get into all of that in
00:03:43.400 a second. I'll tell everybody what we're doing besides the fact of me complaining about being at
00:03:48.640 the G7. And I shouldn't really complain because this is not the worst place that I could possibly be.
00:03:53.260 But I'm not able to do the job that I really want to do. And that's ask world leaders questions.
00:03:58.480 If you are watching us on the censorship platform of YouTube, we are still re-monetized there,
00:04:05.440 miraculously. If you want to support the work that we do there and help us democratize the show,
00:04:09.860 we want you to ask us questions so we can respond to them. You can leave a paid chat. It's called a
00:04:14.640 super chat. And if it's over the $5 US cutoff, we're doing our best to get or we will get to it. If
00:04:20.840 it's under that, we'll do our best. And the reason I'm saying that today is because we have a hard
00:04:25.900 stop like 10 after the top of the hour. If you are watching us on Rumble, you can leave us a
00:04:32.860 Rumble rant. That's your paid chat. And the same rules apply. And if you're watching the recorded
00:04:37.180 version of the live stream on YouTube, you can also leave a super thanks. That's their paid
00:04:42.860 comments. So those are all the details of the show. Olivia in studio. I'm just seeing Lisa. I'm not
00:04:50.020 really seeing the screen or my side by side, but I will, I'll figure it out. We've got a video
00:04:55.900 though. At the G7, Carney promises to give Zelensky 2 billion in direct military aid and another 2
00:05:05.780 billion in Russian assets that were frozen by Trudeau's government. Let's watch this.
00:05:11.380 I would like to start, uh, by condemning in the strongest terms, the latest outrage, barbarism
00:05:20.140 from Russia and express my, uh, deep condolences. Uh, and those are the Canadian people, uh, to
00:05:26.380 the families in Kyiv, uh, who were affected. This underscores the importance of standing in total
00:05:34.280 solidarity with Ukraine, with the Ukrainian people. Um, and we had a discussion last night
00:05:42.320 amongst G7 leaders, uh, president and I will, we'll, we'll discuss more. And then we'll, of course,
00:05:47.680 we'll have the direct discussion in a moment, um, uh, together. Uh, but we underscored the importance
00:05:53.600 of using maximum pressure against Russia, uh, who has refused to come to the table. The president has
00:06:00.280 led, uh, unconditionally, uh, to come to the table in search of peace. Um, and maximum pressure
00:06:05.880 includes financial pressure. And, uh, Canada is announcing today, uh, several measures, uh, sanctions,
00:06:13.020 uh, first and foremost against the number of individuals in Russia, against over 40 entities
00:06:18.940 in Russia and beyond that, uh, are trying to contribute to the evasion of sanctions, uh, the
00:06:24.560 sanctioning of over 200 vessels in the shadow fleet, uh, that Russia is using again to try to
00:06:29.440 evade these sanctions. That's the first thing. The second, uh, is we are providing additional
00:06:34.940 military assistance, uh, drones, helicopters, broader munitions, um, over $2 billion, uh, worth
00:06:41.740 of assistance, uh, directly to Ukraine. Um, and thirdly, um, we are dispersing, uh, the next
00:06:47.860 tranche of, uh, the loan, uh, based on the frozen, uh, Russian assets, uh, over $2 billion as well.
00:06:55.260 This is our contribution. We'll be working with our European and other allies, uh, for
00:06:59.640 their contributions, uh, to provide the support, uh, and to be absolutely clear, uh, the support
00:07:04.760 will be unwavering until we get a just, uh, peace for Ukraine and Ukrainian people.
00:07:11.420 Thanks so much, dear prime minister. Uh, first of all, good to be here in Canada and, uh, uh,
00:07:18.260 for the G7 summit. Thank you for your invitation. But first of all, thank you for your very important,
00:07:24.920 um, words, warm words, and, uh, supporting Ukraine. Of course, condolences to our families.
00:07:32.260 Really, we had, Ukrainians had, our families had a very difficult night. One of the biggest
00:07:39.100 attacks from the very beginning of this war, 440 Shahids, Iranian drones, and 32 missiles,
00:07:49.260 including ballistic. And I was on direct connection during the flight with all the ministers. And,
00:07:56.380 uh, and of course with the chief of air defense. And, uh, really it was a big attack on civilian
00:08:02.540 infrastructure, on people, just, just people, houses, uh, and et cetera. And for now, information is
00:08:09.820 not total information, not that, uh, final information, but for now we have, uh, 138 injured
00:08:16.380 people and 12 killed. And so, yes, it's a big tragedy, uh, for us. And, uh, we, uh, need support
00:08:28.780 from our allies. And I'm here. And thank you for the military package. It's important for our
00:08:33.980 soldiers to be strong at the battlefield, to stay strong out until Russia will be ready for the
00:08:40.140 peace negotiations. We are ready for the, uh, peace negotiations, unconditional ceasefire.
00:08:46.380 I think it's very important, but for this we need pressure. And of course, I want to speak
00:08:51.020 with prime minister today about sanctions, additional sanctions, and thanks for the real unwavering
00:08:58.060 support from your side, from all the Canadians to our people. Thank you. Well, that was a,
00:09:05.900 that was a $5 billion press conference. You've just watched Canada. So in addition to the $4 billion
00:09:13.340 of Canadian taxpayer funds and Russian assets that they're going to hand over just on a silver platter
00:09:19.660 to, uh, to Ukraine, they also spent a billion dollars on this meeting in Kananaskis, all things
00:09:26.220 considered when, when you take into account, uh, transportation, security, accommodations, um,
00:09:33.260 the planning that goes involved, that, that go, that gets involved, uh, in, in planning these
00:09:38.780 conferences, that was the $5 billion press conference you just watched Canada. And I thought something
00:09:43.900 that, uh, Prime Minister Mark Carney said was really interesting was the president. This is the president of
00:09:50.380 Russia, Vladimir, um, Vladimir Putin has refused to come to the table to talk about peace. Well,
00:09:57.580 they kicked him out of the G8. President Trump detailed this yesterday. They literally insisted,
00:10:05.020 former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and former President Joe Biden kicked him out of the G8.
00:10:10.860 So how is he supposed to broker peace when they literally insisted that he leave? It is crazy. This is
00:10:18.460 crazy. Right. That's the thing. You, you kicked him off the table and look, I'm no fan of Putin. I'm
00:10:26.140 no Putin apologist, but, uh, if you want to pass forward to peace, um, and a way to stop the bonfire of
00:10:34.540 bodies and international money, then you have to talk to Putin. You have to, and he's not here. And, uh,
00:10:45.260 neither is Trump. And so I guess that was all that was left to do with Zelensky. He was just offered to give
00:10:50.620 him more money because Trump was, it was here. He's gone. Today, Zelensky came in. Margarita of NATO also
00:11:00.380 came in and they were supposed to talk about how to deal with Russia while Russia is not here.
00:11:05.100 But Trump has sort of positioned himself as the peace and power broker between the two parties
00:11:11.020 and he's not here. So what is supposed to be happening today? I'm not sure. I have no idea.
00:11:16.780 Yep. And while they offer up, uh, drones and military and money to, to the Ukraine while the
00:11:23.660 Canadian military rots on the vine, this should be so concerning to everyday Canadians who don't
00:11:31.660 have a functioning military that could defend us in the case of any aggression from, from really
00:11:37.180 any country. And the one guy that was there that could broker a peace deal had left early to broker
00:11:44.860 another peace deal. Like that, this is being left in the hands of the most incompetent leaders in the
00:11:51.660 world. Uh, mainly Mark Carney, Keir Starmer and Emmanuel Macron. This should be of concern to
00:11:58.540 every Canadian. Yeah. Yeah. I think they sat there and they're like, well, Trump's not here. What are
00:12:03.020 we going to do? Give him more money. Okay. Perfect. Thanks. That's exactly what we always do. That's
00:12:07.260 exactly what happened. Sheila Gunn-Reed. Yep. Um, we've got, uh, Mark Carney going from elbows up to,
00:12:15.980 on your knees, uh, for Trump. What a joke. If you are a liberal voter, by the way, you should,
00:12:21.660 as if you're watching, but you should feel absolutely duped because Carney yesterday with
00:12:27.340 Trump just rolled over and showed Trump his belly. Now I don't want him to be adversarial with Trump.
00:12:33.020 Actually, I was saying that all along during the campaign, this elbows up anti-Americanism
00:12:39.580 is not who maybe, I guess maybe it is how people are in the East, but I don't think it's reflective
00:12:46.860 of the Western sensibilities about Americans. They are our single largest trading partner,
00:12:52.140 a single largest military partner. Um, we have a, uh, a centuries old friendship that has endured and
00:13:00.220 lasted. And Carney said it was over and he was the guy that just really put his duped up with Trump.
00:13:08.140 And then he just was yesterday. Yes, Mr. Trump. Oh, your leadership, Mr. Trump. Oh, you're just
00:13:14.060 truly the leader of everything. And, uh, what an absolute joke. Uh, what a fraud of a man he is.
00:13:20.540 And, uh, anyway, we've got a video of Carney praising Trump for taking bold measures to address global changes.
00:13:29.580 Nostalgia isn't a strategy. We have to change, uh, with the times, uh, and to build a better world.
00:13:37.580 And some of you, such as you, Mr. President, have anticipated these massive changes and are taking bold,
00:13:43.260 uh, measures, uh, to address them. All of us around this table are reinforcing our militaries
00:13:49.820 and security, uh, services for the new world. Uh, but we all know that there can be no security
00:13:55.500 without economic prosperity, um, and no prosperity without resilience. And in a world where shocks
00:14:02.460 flow across the borders, that resilience comes from cooperation. Cooperation, uh, around that
00:14:08.300 starts around this table. Uh, cooperation that can lead to a new era of prosperity, energy security,
00:14:15.260 and critical minerals, artificial intelligence, quantum, uh, combating human smuggling, um, and
00:14:21.740 transnational, uh, repression.
00:14:26.220 Yeah, well, he has it right that nostalgia isn't a strategy. And I think that if you talk to, uh,
00:14:31.740 proponents of Western separatism, they would agree with you, Mark Carney, that nostalgia isn't a strategy
00:14:38.860 that can be relied upon to, to make any bold moves. But the only thing that was missing there was Mark
00:14:44.380 Carney coming in with his own barrel to bend over. Okay. Because this is, this is the, uh, the approach
00:14:50.860 that he's taken. And it is a, you're right, Sheila, it is such a drastic departure from campaign Mark
00:14:57.500 Carney, who was all, I mean, he was all just a, a big swing and you know what he was going to teach
00:15:05.100 Trump. We were going to rewrite all the rules. We were going to disconnect from America and look at
00:15:11.100 him now, look at him now, bending the knee, bending the knee. Well, look, I like, I, I don't take issue
00:15:20.540 with the things that Carney is saying there. Like, yes, we do need to deal with the border. Yes, we do
00:15:26.060 need to deal with our trade issues. Yes, we do need to deal with energy security. Um, but he didn't say
00:15:33.340 that during the campaign. It was the conservatives who were saying those things during the campaign.
00:15:37.420 And Carney was Mr. Elbows up and we need to be closer to Europe. And our, our relate, he literally
00:15:45.980 put out a campaign ad saying our relationship with the Americans as we know it is over. It's over. And
00:15:51.020 then, and then now he's just putting on the chapstick and kissing the ring. It's really quite something.
00:15:58.220 Is he ever? No, I've, uh, uh, in, in political strategy, this is one of the most blatant about
00:16:05.740 faces we have ever, ever witnessed. This is the guy you chose Eastern Canada. This is the guy,
00:16:11.980 the guy that rolled over at his earliest convenience. I mean, it's pathetic.
00:16:16.620 Yeah, I know. And it's not even rolling over. It's probably even doing the right thing.
00:16:20.460 But this is the complete and total opposite of what he campaigned on.
00:16:24.060 So he is the most cynical of politicians that he will do whatever it takes to get power and then
00:16:33.500 whatever it takes to hang on to it. Yeah. Yeah. Just like the liberal, liberal party of Canada is want
00:16:39.580 to do. Yeah. Uh, we've also got another one. President Trump says Canada will be under the
00:16:45.900 protection of the golden dome missile defense system, but $71 billion. That's what it's going
00:16:54.300 to cost us if we want it. Um, we've got a video there. And you said a lot about acquiring Canada as a
00:17:02.460 state. Did anybody talk to you about that? And where are you now?
00:17:05.900 I feel from Canada, but it's up to them. They're going to have to pay a lot of the tariffs,
00:17:11.020 okay? So they're going to have to pay a lot of money for the dome, for the iron dome.
00:17:15.260 They want to be a part of it. But we may make a separate deal on that, but we discussed that.
00:17:23.340 They want to be at $71 billion. They're going to pay.
00:17:25.980 You said it's up to us if we want to become the 51st state. And if not, it's a $71 billion
00:17:55.980 golden dome deal. And again, we don't have a budget. We don't have a budget. We're dishing
00:18:03.100 out money to Ukraine, hosting the G7, uh, potentially investing $71 billion into the
00:18:09.500 golden dome missile defense system. And the liberals have not even tabled a budget. So we're just,
00:18:16.220 we're just spending, I guess this is what we're doing. I guess. Yeah. Yeah. This is exactly what
00:18:20.940 we're doing and the complexities around the golden dome for Canada and the United States
00:18:26.620 are that much good. It's modeled on, it's modeled on the Israeli iron dome concept where incoming
00:18:33.660 medium range ballistic missiles get fired over. They're identified by satellites and they're taken
00:18:38.940 out in the sky, but those are medium range from very, very close, aggressive countries. Canada and
00:18:44.300 United States is in a much different situation. And this is why it's would be so much more expensive
00:18:50.380 is because any missile that could land on us would have to be a very, very long range international
00:18:58.220 missile that would come at us. So it would literally have to be a program that is happening
00:19:02.460 in space. This is why it is so expensive. And this is why he's, uh, he's, he's floating the humongous
00:19:10.540 price tag, but Canada, we, we really have to think about this. Do we want to be under the protection
00:19:18.540 of the Canadian military, which is non-functional underfunded and, and, and, and a complete
00:19:24.380 embarrassment to be, to be honest, or do we want to- No disrespect to the serving members.
00:19:28.940 No, no, no, no, not at all. That's on the government.
00:19:30.940 Yeah. We know that this is not your fault to the, to the, to our serving military members
00:19:35.580 in Canada. We know it's not your fault. Uh, this has been a, a, a complete, uh, mismanagement,
00:19:42.620 we'll say by the federal government, or do we want to partner with the most powerful military
00:19:49.100 on earth? I mean, this is, this is pretty much a no-brainer. Yeah. Pretty much a no-brainer.
00:19:55.580 And in the meantime, while Carney is at the G7, getting closer and closer to Trump, his lunatic
00:20:02.780 ministers are in other parts of the world saying crazy things about how we need to run away from
00:20:08.380 the American. So like, this is just an absolute schizophrenic foreign policy. Uh, we've got minister,
00:20:14.940 industry minister, Melanie Jolie, who, this is not her portfolio anymore. That she
00:20:24.700 is not in foreign affairs. She's definitely not in defense or public safety, but she says,
00:20:32.380 Canada has been too reliant on America for security and trading, and we should now be closer to Europe
00:20:40.140 and Asia. Uh, we tried to sell Asia liquefied natural gas. And you guys said no, you, the liberals
00:20:49.340 said no. Anyways, she says we're the most European of all non-European countries. That may be true,
00:20:55.660 but geographically, well, I, you know, again, this is a regional issue. Uh, I would suggest that
00:21:02.380 Westerners are probably the more, most Europe, most American of all non-Americans, but, uh,
00:21:09.660 this is not like, this is nonsense. We're geographically closest to the United States.
00:21:14.700 That's who we should have the good relationship with, but let's hear Melanie Jolie saying the complete
00:21:19.740 opposite of what Carney's saying at the G7. Hi, everyone. Bonjour tout le monde. It's a pleasure
00:21:25.580 for me to have the chance to, uh, talk to you directly from, uh, the Paris air show, our show,
00:21:32.460 which we call the Bourget, uh, of course directly from Paris. Um, and we know we're living in much more
00:21:39.420 uncertain times in a dangerous world. Uh, we know that also when it comes to our own reality on the trade
00:21:48.540 side and on the security side, we've been over reliant on, uh, the U S and so therefore we want to
00:21:55.420 become closer to Europe, closer to our European partners and some key Asian partners as well.
00:22:04.300 And so we are the most European of all non-European countries. That's why it was important to be
00:22:11.340 here at the Paris air show, which is the, uh, most important fora, uh, forum for, uh, the aerospace
00:22:20.380 sector at a time where there's so many, uh, decisions and investment made in the sector.
00:22:29.740 Um, I, again, I think this is a region that's a regional statement that writes off the complete and
00:22:34.940 total Western part of the country. Uh, the, uh, I, the Maritimes, probably very British Isles-y,
00:22:42.700 right? Quebec, obviously very European, um, parts of, you know, central Canada. Yeah,
00:22:50.540 probably very European. We, we, you know, we're part of the, uh, Commonwealth. So yeah,
00:22:58.300 sure. I will concede that, but, uh, that also doesn't make any sense given the geography. Like
00:23:06.780 we are, we share the longest undefended border with the Americans. That's a market of 350 million
00:23:14.060 people. And her solution is just to turn our backs on them because that's what Mark Carney campaigned on.
00:23:21.180 But Mark Carney is quite literally here saying something entirely different.
00:23:25.740 And, and I, I won't concede to her for a second that we're the most European, non-European country,
00:23:33.500 because for the vast majority of old stock Canadians who came to Canada from Europe, they left Europe for
00:23:40.300 good reason, whether it be religious persecution, whether it be famine, whether it be war, whether
00:23:45.420 it be whatever, all of our ancestors came to here to escape whatever craziness was happening in Europe
00:23:52.540 200 years ago, 150 years ago, 100 years ago. Um, I would maintain that we are, we are twins with
00:24:00.300 America as it pertains to culture, to language, to societal issues, to, to opinions, especially those
00:24:07.340 of us here in the West and to handcuff us to Europe is to handcuff us to Europe's issues. Europe's issues
00:24:16.300 are not North American issues. Okay. They are unique to Europe. They have regional, like regional conflicts
00:24:22.860 and regional issues that have literally nothing to do with us. So here's the government of Canada
00:24:28.060 dragging us back to Europe, right? With money, with funding, with, uh, with military. I mean, she's at an air
00:24:36.540 show. So they're buying, they're buying military equipment, dragging us back into conflicts that our ancestors left
00:24:43.580 over a hundred years ago, like make it make sense, make it make sense. I want nothing to do with European
00:24:50.300 conflicts, nothing, absolutely nothing.
00:24:52.620 I guess, you know, in the way the Canadian government views free speech, the right to protect yourself, um, taxation,
00:25:01.580 they probably are pretty European, um, as opposed to what Albertans would like to see the American values
00:25:09.580 adopted on those issues. Uh, Olivia, do we have an ad break?
00:25:16.780 Or let's do an ad break and then we'll go into, uh, Trump, Israel and Iran.

00:26:51.980 Canadians know the national anthem. They stand in silence to remember those who died for this country.
00:26:58.540 But not every Canadian knows their rights and freedoms. The Freedom Passport will change that.

00:27:23.820 All right. Now, we talked about the elephant in the room, and that's that the elephant is actually
00:27:35.420 not in the room. The elephant being Trump. And he left late last night. Well, it wasn't even late. It was
00:27:41.900 right after the leader's dinner. He left. He went back to Washington and assembled all of his advisors to deal
00:27:49.740 with the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel. And Israel is in an existential fight
00:27:58.780 against the potential that Iran could develop nuclear resources. And they would use them instantly
00:28:06.700 on Israel and then across the region and then go from the little Satan to the big Satan. If you follow the
00:28:13.100 Iranian language on the issue and potentially attack the United States. So, Carolyn Levitt is the press
00:28:21.260 secretary for Trump. And she says, President Trump had a great day at the G7, even signing a major trade
00:28:27.660 deal with the UK and Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Much was accomplished, but because of what's going
00:28:33.260 on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner with heads of state.
00:28:37.100 And that's exactly what he did. He came in, came out, and now everybody is just milling about today,
00:28:46.220 wondering what happens next.
00:28:49.180 I mean, he took the wind right out of the sails of everybody still remaining at the G7 summit,
00:28:56.220 is what he did. Because President Trump is a man, if nothing else, who knows how to command the media.
00:29:02.620 And without him there, it's just sort of a vacuum. It's just going to be an empty vacuum of space.
00:29:09.820 But he really did show what his priorities are in this moment. It's not glad-handing
00:29:16.540 with the remaining leaders at the G7. He is a president that has on record said over and over
00:29:25.340 and over again that he's committed to brokering peace in the Middle East. And this is a situation
00:29:33.420 that is rapidly escalating. And he acknowledged that it needed his full attention. And so I don't
00:29:41.100 blame him for leaving early. I mean, it's really sad for the rest of the leaders at the G7 who are not
00:29:48.140 going to get his sound bites or his hot takes on these international issues. But when push comes
00:29:54.620 to shove, he showed the remaining G7 leaders that, well, what they're talking about, what they're
00:30:00.700 talking about here doesn't really matter to him. Doesn't really matter to him at all.
00:30:05.500 Right. And as we'll get into it, for Trump, peace between Iran and Israel is the complete and total
00:30:12.140 submission of Iran, as it should be. And regime change, which could be the best thing for the
00:30:20.700 Iranian people. And we don't, Trump is a peacemaker in the Middle East. There are the Abraham Accords.
00:30:27.900 The UAE is one of the strongest allies of Israel, and that is because of Trump. He told the Gulf states
00:30:37.660 the path to Washington goes through Jerusalem. So you figure that out, and then come see me.
00:30:43.580 And they did. That's what, that's what you get when you actually have somebody who will use the power
00:30:52.140 and influence for good in the presidential office. We've got Ryland Givens saying the Telegraph is
00:30:59.740 reporting that a disagreement between Trump and other leaders broke out at the G7 summit
00:31:05.100 after President Trump refused to sign a joint statement on the summit on the issue of the war
00:31:12.300 between Israel and Iran. And I think that statement called for a de-escalation on both sides.
00:31:20.060 Right. Trump wouldn't have it.
00:31:23.020 Trump wouldn't have it. Trump wouldn't have it. Trump would not have it.
00:31:26.620 Yeah. Because the de-escalation of Israel is a nuclear-powered ramp.
00:31:30.540 That's right. That's exactly right. And even though the official line is he left to deal with
00:31:39.340 this burning issue unraveling between Iran and Israel, he could have left because they put pressure
00:31:48.380 on him to sign this statement. And he just went, right, this is not what I'm here for. This is not
00:31:52.380 not what I stand for. And, uh, and, and read the writing on the wall. If he was being pressured by
00:31:58.460 the remaining G7, uh, by the remaining G7 attendees in the room, if, if they were forcing his hand,
00:32:06.140 he would have just up and left. He just wouldn't have had it. And, and maybe that's what actually,
00:32:10.380 then again, maybe he went to the washroom and found tampons in the men's room. Maybe that's the reason
00:32:15.180 he left. Oh my God. How embarrassing. Could you imagine? I mean, could you imagine Trump's face
00:32:22.060 walking into a men's room and say, I, and you know, I bet he did. I bet all of his staffers did.
00:32:27.900 And, uh, and that's another reason why they probably, probably, uh, took off back to Washington.
00:32:32.780 I mean, who would want to spend time in a place that does that? To be honest. Right. Now, President
00:32:38.860 Trump, he spoke to reporters aboard Air Force One about Israel and Iran, stating the Islamic
00:32:44.780 Republic cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. Um, and we saw yesterday, Trump tweeting
00:32:50.140 out for civilians to evacuate Tehran. And they did that. That traffic jam was wild.
00:32:58.620 Oh, there was, uh, reportedly. Oh, go on. Let's watch this. Nope. Yeah.
00:33:03.180 Let's just post it right before we took off that you're not leaving because of a ceasefire.
00:33:08.060 Why are you, can you elaborate? We're looking at it better than a ceasefire. We're not looking for a ceasefire.
00:33:13.420 I didn't say I was looking for a ceasefire. That was Emmanuel. Nice guy. But he doesn't get it right
00:33:18.860 too often. But, uh, we're not looking, we're looking for better than a ceasefire.
00:33:23.420 You're not going to invest in this conflict at this stage. You're going to do anything more for Israel
00:33:29.660 right now? We're doing pretty well. Right now we're doing pretty well. Remember, Iran can not have
00:33:36.860 a nuclear weapon. It's very simple. We don't have to go too deep into it. They just can't have a nuclear weapon.
00:33:42.860 What was the thinking on the call for Tehran to evacuate? Is there a threat or is there incoming?
00:33:48.940 What was the thinking on the call for that? I want people to be safe. And that's always
00:33:53.740 possible. A thing like that could happen. I just want people to be safe. Is there any
00:33:58.700 new concern about U.S. troops or assets in the region? We have great people and how to protect
00:34:05.980 themselves. And when you say better, what specifically do you have so hard? If they do
00:34:09.980 anything to our people, we'll come down so hard and then the lumps are off so beautifully. Now, uh,
00:34:15.980 they, uh, I think they, I think they know not to touch our troops. Are you sending them us?
00:34:23.340 Yeah, we have our troops already.
00:34:28.220 Like, of course, of course he's right when he says Iran must not have nuclear weapons. Of course he is
00:34:34.620 right. It is, it is an unstable country. It's an undemocratic country. It would be inherently
00:34:41.420 dangerous for the rest of the world if Iran were to be able to get their hands on or develop nuclear,
00:34:48.220 long-range nuclear weapons. I mean, uh, of course he is not wrong when he says that.
00:34:54.060 Do we have images of the, just the traffic jam leaving Tehran yesterday after Trump tweeted for
00:35:04.380 civilians to evacuate? They were listening. Boy, were they ever. I guess that's the pattern of social
00:35:10.780 media. Tehran is a, is a city of about 9 million people in, in Iran. And the traffic reportedly,
00:35:20.540 the traffic leading out of the city was in the hundreds of thousands line up lineups at every
00:35:26.060 gas stations was five and six hours long of people, uh, of people wishing to get to,
00:35:33.180 to take his advice and to get out of the country. Uh, this is just incredible footage. Look at all of
00:35:39.420 those vehicles. Look at all of those vehicles. As far as the, I can see bumper to bumper traffic,
00:35:46.380 just people, people getting ready to leave. And this is, I mean, this is the power,
00:35:51.180 this is the power of president Trump when he says, take cover. These are the, these are the people of
00:35:56.380 Tehran taking cover. Yeah. They don't listen to the mullahs who want them to stay in place and be human
00:36:01.980 shields. Right. Yeah. Right. Uh, we've got another clip from president Trump. Uh, he says he's looking for
00:36:10.860 Iran to give up entirely, not do what Macron said and just achieve a ceasefire. This, there should be
00:36:18.780 no nuclear proliferation in Iran whatsoever. Um, Trump also said he hopes Iran's nuclear program
00:36:27.420 is wiped out long before the U S has to get involved. We have better than a ceasefire. What
00:36:33.340 are you looking for here? A real end, not a ceasefire. An end for something that will be
00:36:40.380 informative. Yeah. Or, or, uh, giving up entirely. Is that okay too? Are you closer? Are you possible?
00:36:47.660 Is that possible in the next 24, 48 hours? Certainly possible. Complete, uh, give up. That's possible.
00:36:55.180 Yeah. Is the chairman of the joint chiefs and the secretary of defense drawn up plans for you
00:37:01.020 if Iran were to attack U S bases or do any damage to U S bases? Just can't do it. I'm asking because
00:37:08.300 there's been some skepticism, but is there any guarantee that if the U S did get involved
00:37:12.700 militarily, that a U S bomb could destroy Iran's nuclear program and facilities?
00:37:17.500 Do you think if the U S got involved militarily, it would actually wipe out Iran's nuclear program?
00:37:31.420 Or where's your assessment on that? I hope their program is going to be wiped out long before that,
00:37:37.420 but they're not going to have a nuclear weapon.
00:37:39.100 What do you think the Israelis are going to slow down or are they going to hit the accelerator right
00:37:44.540 now? Because they've got the priority to have over the next two days. Are you going to find it?
00:37:50.540 Nobody's slowed up so far. Has the gang of eight been notified about what's coming in the next couple
00:37:55.420 days? We'll be talking to them. What can you do? It's not necessary.
00:38:03.740 Yeah. So he's, he's saying that he's saying that he hopes that Israel is able to lick this
00:38:12.380 before the United States even has to get involved because if the United States gets involved, okay,
00:38:17.820 they have the world's most powerful military. They have access to the, the, uh, the most air,
00:38:24.940 military aircraft, military missiles, and, uh, military might in the universe. And he, what,
00:38:31.580 what Donald Trump is saying right now is that he hopes they don't have to get involved simply
00:38:38.540 because the loss of life would be so great. Uh, Iran would just be trounced by, by America if they
00:38:44.540 got involved. And he's saying, well, I hope it doesn't come to that. Um, what he's saying without
00:38:50.060 actually saying is, is I hope the Iranian leaders think about this long and hard before they, uh,
00:38:58.380 undertake any acts of aggression, further acts of aggression against Israel.
00:39:02.860 You know, I think this is a message to the rest of the world as in stay out of Israel's way and let
00:39:11.100 them finish this because they certainly can. The Israeli military is a powerful military. I think
00:39:16.940 the most powerful one in the region and they are very restrained and hamstrung by the left in Gaza.
00:39:25.500 I mean, they could finish that war in a heartbeat in Gaza if they were allowed to actually fight a war.
00:39:30.940 And I think this is a message to the rest of the world saying, look,
00:39:33.660 let Israel do what it needs to do to protect itself from a nuclear strike.
00:39:38.780 Right. Yep. Yep. That sounds accurate.
00:39:42.540 Um, now we've got, uh, a video from Israel's minister of transportation and, uh, they're saying
00:39:53.340 that they're not allowing Israelis to travel abroad at this stage. Only those who came to visit,
00:39:58.940 tourists and business visitors or diplomats will be allowed to leave the country.
00:40:03.260 Let's watch this and then I'll tell you why I think this is happening. Okay.
00:40:06.220 Okay.
00:40:06.780 Oh, we don't have it. Okay. All right. Well, I don't speak Hebrew. Um, that wasn't dubbed. But
00:40:24.780 here's what I think is that, uh, everybody has mandatory military service in Israel and Israel is
00:40:31.180 getting on major war footing right now. So what they want is not like everybody is in the military
00:40:38.860 or, uh, could be activated as reserve there. And so I think what they're getting ready to do
00:40:45.420 is, uh, they're getting on a major war footing. They want to make sure that all of the Israelis,
00:40:52.460 because they're all trained, they're all, uh, they all serve in the military. They're getting
00:40:57.340 into war readiness. Um, and they don't want any deserters, uh, going to the United States or wherever,
00:41:04.620 because a lot of Israelis have dual citizenship with, uh, a lot of other places in the world.
00:41:09.820 But it felt like when I was there the few times that like a good one third of the country was also
00:41:15.420 American and, uh, they're trying to make sure that they have all the military might that they
00:41:20.780 need should they need it. Hmm. That's a, I think that that fits with the puzzle pieces just currently
00:41:27.900 unfolding in the world right now where they're fighting, they're fighting on four different
00:41:33.260 fronts, right? Like they've got enemies coming from them from all directions. And so if they're gonna,
00:41:39.580 if they're gonna ramp things up, then they need to be ready and have their people in place. But
00:41:44.140 the, the, um, the incredible thing about Israel is that their people don't hesitate to defend
00:41:49.340 their country. And so, uh, let's hope it doesn't come to that. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.
00:41:54.860 Uh, but it's, but it's good to see that they're, they're getting their ducks in a row in any case.
00:41:59.340 Yeah. The entire country is defended by zoomers. It felt like when I was there, I mean, I'm like
00:42:06.140 everywhere you look, well, of course, because everybody has to do their mandatory military service
00:42:10.220 right after high school. But even while they're in high school, they're sort of choosing
00:42:13.820 their track in the military. You're going to be a medic, or you're going to be a fighter pilot,
00:42:17.180 or you, you know, like you're sort of, you're going to join the infantry, you sort of are deciding
00:42:21.580 while you're still in high school and taking courses towards that. But yeah, the whole place
00:42:25.980 is defended by zoomers. And then you get here and ours need cry rooms. Like it's just, it's a
00:42:32.540 different, it's different kids over there.
00:42:34.620 Ours, ours march in pride parades. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Ours raise pride flags or shame flags,
00:42:39.900 like I like to call them. Yeah. It's a different, it's a, it is a different, it is a different world
00:42:45.740 over there. It is a different world. We've got one chat here from Alberta, Don,
00:42:50.700 he gives us five bucks and says, and I don't know if this is true, I can't fact check it,
00:42:55.340 but I'll take each word. Zelensky did the massive drone attack three days before he was to meet with
00:42:59.660 Putin for a peace talk. Then he complains about retaliation. Brookfield was promised huge contracts
00:43:05.580 for Ukraine rebuild. I don't know about Brookfield, but I do know that Blackrock sure was. Blackrock
00:43:15.180 has a neat little racket going. Blackrock sells arms on one side to escalate the conflict and
00:43:22.460 destroy the country and then gets the contract to rebuild it on the other side. They've closed the loop
00:43:27.740 on the industry there. That's, that's insane. Number one, that's insane. It is a crazy conflict
00:43:35.260 of interest and we should have international laws prohibiting, uh, prohibiting, uh, companies,
00:43:41.820 excuse me, like Blackrock from doing that, from, uh, profiting from the spoils of war. Uh,
00:43:49.820 but would it surprise you if Brookfield also had something? Because remember Brookfield is the
00:43:53.820 octopus. Brookfield is the octopus that has its tentacles and absolutely everything. Would it
00:44:00.220 surprise you if they had the same racket? Would it, would it surprise you, Sheila?
00:44:04.700 Absolutely not. You mean create the housing crisis by your boss advising
00:44:12.060 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and then get the contracts to build the modular housing on the
00:44:17.180 other side? Brookfield's doing the exact same thing just to us. They don't have to be off in Ukraine.
00:44:23.420 This is the Brookfield circle of industry closing in on itself also. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. And Brookfield,
00:44:30.540 Brookfield is heavily invested in, uh, developing nuclear, okay? Developing nuclear energy and maybe
00:44:39.180 that extends into nuclear weapons. Who knows? I mean, the more we dig, the more we're going to find out.
00:44:44.780 So let's not stop digging on Brookfield. We know, all we know right now is that there is no good coming
00:44:49.900 out of that company. No. None at all. Right. Uh, we've got a couple of things that were breaking
00:44:57.020 before we came on air. Um, Damian Keurig, so Battle River Crowfoot, he's official, he's in the House of
00:45:05.740 Commons resigning his seat. So, uh, this is so that Paulie F could run. And he announced that he was
00:45:13.100 resigning his seat previously. Um, and, uh, now he's just making an official. He said today I'm in this,
00:45:21.500 as he's posted to X. Uh, today I'm resigning my seat in the House of Commons so that a by-election
00:45:26.460 can be called as soon as possible to allow our Conservative Party leader Pierre Pauly have to run
00:45:30.620 in Battle River Crowfoot to earn a seat in the House of Commons where he will continue fighting
00:45:34.540 for Canadians and holding the Liberal government to account. But he said that he is not stepping away.
00:45:42.300 And just people who are in the know, uh, suggest that Damian will be running eventually, maybe in
00:45:51.820 the next election, in a different riding. Um, yeah. Or that he will run in his same riding and
00:45:58.300 Pauly will end up in another. But we wouldn't want the embarrassment of having the leader lose his seat
00:46:05.020 and potentially win the next election. Uh, wouldn't that be a disaster? Yeah. Yeah. You know,
00:46:11.740 it would. Well, all the best to Damian Crook as he figures out these next steps. I think that, uh,
00:46:16.860 what he's doing is, uh, extraordinarily selfless for his party and for, uh, for the future of Canada.
00:46:25.900 And really all the best to him as he takes these next steps and, and figures out what's,
00:46:31.020 what's going to happen. That man should never have to buy his own beer. Never again. Never,
00:46:37.100 never again. You see him, you buy him a beer. He's at the curling rink. You get him the beer.
00:46:42.700 You don't let, don't let him pay for his own drinks, no matter what. Yeah. Because he, yeah,
00:46:48.140 he, he had to work really, really hard to, to win that seat, to earn the trust of the people in Calgary.
00:46:54.460 And, uh, and to do this is just, uh, uh, it's, it's extraordinarily selfless and a perfect example
00:47:01.260 of what we should look for in our, uh, elected politicians in Canada. Right. Right. That's,
00:47:07.820 that's the bittersweet irony in all of this is he, he's the kind of guy you want in politics because he,
00:47:14.780 he's not in it for himself. Yeah. And yet he won't be the MP there. Um,
00:47:20.140 um, I rag on Doug Ford a lot, just deservedly. Right. Like I just really give it to him. Um,
00:47:29.260 but premier Doug Ford said he wants to know who the Vaughn homeowner was who got charged after
00:47:38.460 scaring off car thieves with a warning shot last week. And he said he should get a medal for standing
00:47:44.220 up. It's like down in the U S we should have the castle law. This is, this is good. Doug Ford.
00:47:50.700 He's being good. Let's watch it. Did you hear about the guy that these thugs came up,
00:47:56.700 you know, ready to steal his car. They're all in their masks and everything. So I guess he was a
00:48:01.420 hunter or something. He shot, he shot a shot up in the air. I don't recommend that by the way,
00:48:05.980 but he gets charged. I got to find out this guy's name and number and I'm going to hold a fundraiser
00:48:12.620 for lawyer fees for him. He should get a medal for standing up. It's like down in the U S we should
00:48:17.740 have the castle law. Someone breaks into your house. And I know any of these people here,
00:48:22.460 someone breaks in your house and they're coming after your kids and you're coming after your spouse,
00:48:27.340 you're going to fight like you've never fought before. You're going to use anything that you have,
00:48:31.980 be it weapons, baseball bats, knives. You're protecting your family. These thugs shouldn't
00:48:37.020 be coming in there. Well, okay. Okay. On the surface. Yeah, Doug, what you're saying is,
00:48:45.340 is a hundred percent true, but I haven't, I find it really, really hard to believe anything that Doug
00:48:50.220 Ford says when the policies of the liberal government that Doug Ford kept afloat are responsible for this,
00:48:58.620 for this unfolding disaster in Canada across the country. So yeah, I see how Doug Ford could feel
00:49:05.020 bad for the guy and want to, you know, offer to hold a fundraiser for him. But what about the
00:49:09.500 rest of Canadians who are being held hostage by rampant criminality unfolding across the country?
00:49:15.740 Doug Ford, you had your chance to get rid of the liberals who brought in this catch and release
00:49:21.100 program that we have in Canada that inherently puts Canadian families at risk. And you did nothing.
00:49:26.380 You did nothing. Yeah. I'm glad that you made that point because Doug Ford worked really hard to
00:49:33.020 sabotage the Polly of campaign from the very beginning. And Polly was the tough on crime candidate.
00:49:41.100 So yeah, it's a bit much to hear Doug Ford, although he's right in everything he's saying.
00:49:47.740 Um, but the phone calls coming from inside the house.
00:49:50.540 That's right.
00:49:51.580 Because he had a chance to do something about this. And he sided with the guy who continues to make it
00:49:56.540 worse. Yep. The reason, the reason this guy is now facing criminal charges and nobody, listen,
00:50:01.660 nobody here is blaming that guy. We, we absolutely agree that he had a right to defend himself,
00:50:06.140 his property and his family. But the reason why this guy is now having to crowdfund or launch a legal
00:50:12.060 defense is because of the policies of the liberal party of Canada. I mean, the disconnect there is
00:50:18.940 just so, is just, is just enormous.
00:50:21.260 Uh, next story from Lisa's home province. It's from Jamie Sarkinak, whom I enjoy over at the
00:50:30.460 National Post. She's the best. Yep. Yep. She's got a story on a formal, a former law student taking
00:50:37.900 the University of Saskatchewan to court over their kangaroo misconduct trials. Uh, this law student at
00:50:46.780 the time, he mildly questioned DEI. I believe what he actually said was, and as a lawyer,
00:50:54.220 that's the point of being a lawyer, right? Yeah. That we should, we should hear both sides.
00:50:59.580 And he got into like DEI tribunal trouble for saying the thing that, that the law profession
00:51:08.780 exists to provide for people, like to make sure that your side is advocated for whatever that side is,
00:51:14.860 give everybody a fair hearing. And he said that, and he was DEI tribunal.
00:51:20.700 Yes, he was. Yes, he was. Uh, and, and in Saskatchewan, our public institutions are absolutely
00:51:28.140 infested with DEI activists. Okay. If you don't say the thing, if you don't told the line,
00:51:34.180 if you stray from the official narrative, even a tiny bit, they will eviscerate you. And this is the
00:51:41.720 lesson for the government of Saskatchewan. Cause let's not forget the university of Saskatchewan
00:51:45.400 receives millions of dollars of funding from the government of Saskatchewan. The government
00:51:50.040 of Saskatchewan is paying for these DEI programs that silence conservatives, that silence dissent,
00:51:57.080 that silence, um, uh, productive debate where you can have no debate. You can have no resolution.
00:52:05.800 And the left knows this, they shut it down before it even starts. And this is a black eye on the,
00:52:13.000 on the province of Saskatchewan. We are identifying this story identifies such a huge problem that's
00:52:19.400 happening on every level in every public institution in Saskatchewan. And if the government of Saskatchewan
00:52:25.320 was smart, if they were smart, they would deal with this head on. They would deal with this head on.
00:52:31.160 This does not foment a healthy society when we have, uh, when we have dissenting voices being silenced
00:52:37.880 like this. But here's the crazy thing. The university of Saskatchewan is going to learn
00:52:42.600 their lesson because this kid, uh, what is his name? Do we have it here, Sheila?
00:52:47.640 This kid. I don't have it. This law student, um, this law student is challenging them in court. He,
00:52:54.360 he is just saying, uh, I don't have it either. Oh, darn. I wish I could give him a, I wish I could
00:53:00.520 give him some, some hearty props and tell him that we wish him the very, very best in his challenge.
00:53:08.200 Because of course we should not be doing this to you, to our law students at the university of
00:53:13.640 Saskatchewan. We should not be doing this in our public institutions in Saskatchewan. And if the
00:53:18.680 government of Saskatchewan wanted to say $500 million, too sweet, they would cancel every
00:53:23.720 DEI initiative across the board. We should be a merit-based society in Saskatchewan. We've got
00:53:28.680 the smartest, hardest working, most generous people on earth. And yet we are elevating these DEI didn't
00:53:35.160 earn it, uh, campaigners and dragging our province down. I mean, this kid has just got to win. He's just
00:53:41.880 got to win my very, very best to him. We'll be watching this carefully.
00:53:47.240 Well, and in Alberta, we're eagerly awaiting and, uh, legislation, uh, that was announced in 2024 by
00:53:55.400 Premier Smith who said, uh, these out of control regulatory bodies cannot stifle the free speech
00:54:01.400 of their members. You can't be sanctioned. So, um, it's a pledge to protect the right of professionals
00:54:08.440 to express their personal views. So, uh, they're reviewing the professional regulatory bodies
00:54:14.200 in Alberta and they're introducing legislation to limit how they can police the speech of their own
00:54:21.880 members. Um, and this would protect the likes of, uh, Jordan Peterson, one of, I think the biggest
00:54:28.840 thinkers and widest red writers in the Anglosphere, um, from attacks from regulatory bodies in an attempt
00:54:37.880 to silence his speech, they are going to submit him to social media training. So somebody with
00:54:44.200 220 X followers is going to go after him and his what 2 million, 4 million, uh, social media platform,
00:54:53.880 like is the most bizarre thing ever, but we're not doing that here in Alberta. We're not, we're not.
00:54:59.720 And add that to the list of things that the government of Saskatchewan must undertake if they
00:55:04.360 want to keep the NDP from forming government in 2028. Uh, the government of Saskatchewan must get
00:55:11.400 on, must write the ship. We, they've been in power so long that they've got a little bit,
00:55:16.040 I think a little bit lazy and they've let things fall by the wayside and not tackle these problems
00:55:21.800 head on. And if they want to, they will pass legislation to, to protect professionals in
00:55:27.160 Saskatchewan exactly the way Alberta is, or you will watch a brain drain straight out of Saskatchewan,
00:55:33.560 circa 1995, where everybody with a little bit of ambition and a little bit of entrepreneurship and
00:55:40.040 who values their freedom taking off for the, for the, for the free shores of Alberta, the government
00:55:46.200 of Saskatchewan must get into line on these issues and they must get into line as soon as possible.
00:55:51.960 I just saw this. And again, I'm here at the G7, so I'm missing a little bit of news.
00:55:57.960 Um, masked men tried to steal a vehicle from Ontario Premier Doug Ford's home.
00:56:05.640 And he like told the story at a press conference this morning. Why am I just reading this now?
00:56:10.280 Do we have, do we have it? I want to see it.
00:56:13.160 Do we have the clip, Olivia? I would love to see that. But again, Dougie, the phone calls coming
00:56:19.560 from inside the house. You cozied up to the Liberals, and then now your car is being stolen.
00:56:27.320 It's wild. I don't know if we have the clip or not, but I just see it written up in the National
00:56:33.560 Post. Anyways, we don't have to show the clip. Um, but if we could find it, that's great. But
00:56:39.000 that is really quite, quite something else. So Doug Ford, Doug Ford himself is a victim of, uh,
00:56:45.160 the Liberals self-drawn crime policy. Perfect. That's the headline. That's it. That's the story.
00:56:51.160 Doug Ford, mugged by reality. Um, we, oh, here we have, we have something. Yeah,
00:56:57.320 we have something that just popped into the chat. Olivia, can we play it?
00:57:00.600 Yeah. I do want to see the story. Oh, we got one. We got one from Richard Southern. Excellent.
00:57:12.200 Oh. So four thugs come racing down my street, masks on, ready to take the car out of the driveway.
00:57:19.800 Surprise, surprise. At 1230, the two police cars are there. The chase is on. So they chase him. One guy
00:57:26.280 runs out, takes off. They capture him and they catch these other guys. But just imagine all the
00:57:34.040 unfortunate people that don't have security there at their house. Right. With masks on and they have
00:57:39.160 all the tools ready to break in and everything, you know, and guess what's going to happen? They're
00:57:44.760 going to be back out. Why don't you guys come over for a barbecue tonight? You know, I'll take care of
00:57:49.560 you better than the police and thank God the police got you and I never did. Anyways, that's my rant.
00:57:54.200 I'm sick and tired of the weak justice system that we have. They have to get a backbone and we start,
00:58:01.080 we need to start throwing these people in jail. This is turning into a lawless society. That's my rant.
00:58:08.280 And, uh, that's it. So I'm going to wrap it up. Thank you all. Look at Olivia Chow. Did you see Olivia
00:58:15.320 Chow behind him? Just Olivia Chowing it up? Yeah. You know what? I, I await with eager anticipation
00:58:23.800 the Ben Bankist voiceover of that press conference. Uh, the, again, nothing he said there was wrong,
00:58:31.800 except for his position during the campaign. Right. Right. Which absolutely backed up everything
00:58:37.960 the Liberals were doing. I mean, he did his level best to make sure that the Conservatives were defeated.
00:58:42.360 And they were, uh, largely in Ontario. Doug Ford could have done the country, the entire country,
00:58:48.280 such a huge favor in unseating the Liberals. And he did not. But something he said there,
00:58:53.720 I think something like, like in a rare moment of self-realization, Doug said, imagine all the
00:59:00.040 people that don't have a police detail, you know, guarding their, exactly that, Doug. Imagine being a
00:59:06.520 regular Canadian that, that has to, that has to defend itself without actually defending itself.
00:59:11.560 Like, don't you dare fight back against those criminals because then you will be charged.
00:59:15.960 You know, you'll have to defend yourself for defending yourself. Uh, it is just crazy. Like
00:59:22.040 the disconnect between these elected elites and the rest of us, it just couldn't be more glaring.
00:59:28.200 Couldn't be more glaring. Speaking about weirdo disconnects, we have to wrap the show up,
00:59:33.320 but we can't do it without the Daily Cringe. Uh, we've got Mark Carney and his wife.
00:59:42.840 Uh, you can feel the warmth between these two, right? Like they're just a couple that,
00:59:51.080 you know, that it's just deep abiding affection between the two of them. Let's watch this.
00:59:58.680 The Right Honorable Mark Carney, Prime Minister of Canada, and Mrs. Diana Fox Carney.
01:00:13.240 Oh my God.
01:00:22.200 Like, compare that to the warm moments that you saw between Anna and Pierre Polyev and like how
01:00:34.040 she was by his side. He's leaving her in the dust. I think she's got about six inches of height on him
01:00:39.720 too. So he's really walking fast to get away from her. That may be, so that may be part of the reason
01:00:47.080 why he doesn't like being photographed or, or seen directly beside her. Like it may be part of it,
01:00:52.520 but like this to me looks like the six foot COVID protocol never, ever, ever left their house.
01:00:58.200 And our friend Rocky Mountain Duke said something so hilarious on Twitter. It was like, uh,
01:01:02.680 tell us you sleep in separate beds without telling us.
01:01:05.640 Oh, they have for sure. They have Flintstone beds. Yes. Yes. Fred and Wilma beds. Yeah. These are not
01:01:14.360 people. These are not people that share an affectionate, loving relationship, obviously.
01:01:19.480 And I will give it to Diana Fox Carney. She's British and they're not known for their warm fuzziness,
01:01:24.600 but really that's the mother of your children and you leave her six feet behind. Like if my husband
01:01:31.000 would never, ever, ever, ever think about doing this never, ever in the history of the world,
01:01:36.360 because what if, what if Diana Fox Carney toppled over behind him? He would have no idea. I mean,
01:01:41.880 he would have no idea that she needed his assistance. It's just embarrassing. Like it's just, oh,
01:01:46.600 yeah, it is cringe. This is cringe. That's just cringy. That is bad husbandry there.
01:01:55.640 And I noticed something the other day, I think I'll do a video on it tomorrow and I'll point it out to
01:02:00.520 people. Um, cause I think I'm hosting for Ezra tomorrow. So I need it. I'm thinking about my
01:02:04.920 monologue, something that wasn't quite worthy of a video here, but I could sort of turn it and
01:02:09.960 just show people the clip. I was unaware that she was going to Kananaskis and here's why.
01:02:17.880 I made a mental note of it on the tarmac when I saw it. Uh, these two net zero fanatics,
01:02:25.160 zealots got off the challenger. And then cause she was wearing red. It was quite noticeable.
01:02:34.040 They had the entourage of idling SUVs on the tarmac. He got into one and she got in the other.
01:02:40.600 And I was like, okay, these two, uh, in my mind, I'm like, Sheila put a pin in it because maybe they're
01:02:48.280 not going to the same place, right? Like maybe she's going to Calgary and he's going to Kananaskis.
01:02:53.480 Um, but then I was like, uh, I saw this and I was like, she went to the exact same place
01:03:00.360 as him in a completely separate SUV. They just didn't travel together. I was like,
01:03:06.840 let's do it taking two separate SUVs to the exact same place. Isn't that interesting?
01:03:16.920 Isn't that interesting? So they sure something, well, it may be what we're witnessing here is
01:03:23.240 a marriage of convenience. This is just a marriage of convenience. This is just a marriage for the
01:03:27.400 cameras, but this is not, these are not two people who are really connected to each other. I mean,
01:03:33.160 obviously, obviously. I don't even want to speculate that far. I was like, you guys are
01:03:38.440 trying to tax my SUV. You guys have two idling on the tarmac and you can't even carpool to the exact
01:03:43.800 same place. Are you guys going to fight over the radio? Like, what's your problem?
01:03:47.480 This, that's wild. That's actually kind of, that's, that's actually kind of wild. Yeah.
01:03:51.640 Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, I'll do a video on it. I'll show people because it'll be like the, uh,
01:03:58.040 uh, forward and to the back, like the whole like analysis of the Kennedy shooting. I was like,
01:04:05.880 what's that? Slow it down. What's that? That's what that sliver of red slipping into that SUV.
01:04:11.240 So I rewound and like followed her. And then she went behind a car and then she popped out again.
01:04:15.560 I was, it was very, I like slow mode it several times to make sure that, yeah, she's getting into a
01:04:21.320 different vehicle. And then I thought, Sheila, don't overreact. She could be going to a different place.
01:04:26.120 And then, you know, I was talking to Sid and Angelica about it and they're like, well,
01:04:29.480 you know, maybe there are security protocols in place. Like the, she's not, uh, she's not a head
01:04:34.680 of state. Nope. She's not involved in the continuation of government. It's not like how
01:04:38.920 the VP has to travel separately from the president for the continuation of the United States government.
01:04:45.240 Right. She's just Diana Fox Carney. She just got in a different car, a different huge SUV to go to
01:04:52.360 apparently the exact same place. Great. Like, like, thank God you're there, Sheila,
01:04:57.880 because that is a super astute observation that you made. Thank you. And, and if it weren't for you
01:05:02.680 being on the ground there at the G7 summit in Kananaskis, none of us would know that Mark and
01:05:08.360 Diana Fox Carney have a weird relationship. Oh, I think we all know that. You don't even need to tell
01:05:14.920 you that. Well, now it's confirmed. Now it's confirmed because of your work. Now it is confirmed. But no,
01:05:19.720 no, I can't wait for that report. I'm here for it all day long. It's just such a weird,
01:05:25.800 weird thing that I noticed, but that's a part of my job as a journalist is to notice the things the
01:05:31.000 mainstream media don't. Olivia, can you tell us, do we have any more chats or I know we need to wrap up
01:05:36.580 because you guys need the studio. Okay, great. All right. Lise, thank you very much for hosting with
01:05:43.960 me while I'm at the G7 summit in the Banff media center. And you're in beautiful Regina, Saskatchewan.
01:05:51.320 Uh, I think time permitting, I think it'll be me hosting tomorrow. If I can sort of get out here,
01:05:57.640 out of here at a respectable time this evening, when things wrap up, I, there's no media access
01:06:03.080 at all. So we'll, you know, if we get a last list of things that say it's only pooled media,
01:06:08.920 uh, I think we're going to do a wrap up, pull the pin and get back to our respective city. So,
01:06:13.800 uh, I quite likely will be seeing you tomorrow and I can't wait for that.
01:06:17.880 Well, I can't wait either. As you know, this is just my favorite,
01:06:20.840 favorite days of the week and I will see you the same place, same time tomorrow.
01:06:26.600 Great. Uh, thanks Olivia and Efron, everybody working behind the scenes at Rebel News, put the
01:06:31.240 show together so that they're whenever you want to see it. Uh, thanks to everybody who watches the show,
01:06:37.160 shares the show with somebody they think needs to see it and pitches in a little bit to keep the
01:06:41.560 lights on here at Rebel News. We really, truly, absolutely couldn't do it without you. We don't
01:06:47.160 have the deep pockets of all these people who hire people, a full-time salary to hold a piece of tin
01:06:53.320 foil, get the sun to catch them just right. Like, I can't believe that that's a job over at the CBC,
01:06:57.560 but it is anyway. Um, thanks to everybody. And, uh, as my friend David Menzies always says,
01:07:03.160 stay safe and stay safe.
