Rebel News Podcast - Rebel Roundup ｜ Trudeau's Christmas vacation, Antisemitism in 2024, Feds not tracking lying refugees

00:00:00.000 Oh, hey, good afternoon. Good morning, everybody. And welcome to the Rebel News weekly live

00:00:20.320 stream. I think I've properly trained my brain to say that properly. Wherein we talk

00:00:26.240 about the news of the week, completely unscripted. And it's a great way for you to interact with us

00:00:32.780 as we give our thoughts on the news of the day. If you are watching us on YouTube, thank you for

00:00:40.480 hanging in there on that censorship platform. But might I suggest you wander on over to a platform

00:00:46.460 that doesn't care about your politics like Rumble or Odyssey. And particularly on Rumble,

00:00:53.120 you can leave something called a Rumble rant. If it's over the $5 minimum, I am obligating myself

00:00:58.720 to read your comment on air. But don't let that be the barrier for entry. For example, we frequently

00:01:05.720 read chats that are under that amount. And sometimes even if one of the team is watching

00:01:12.720 and they think your comment is interesting, they'll stick it in the chat for me and I will take a look

00:01:18.020 at it. So it's a great way for us to just sort of get our opinions out of us. By us, I mean me at

00:01:24.820 this point. Normally, I'm used to hosting with David Menzies, but I think he's best out in the world

00:01:29.460 as a man on the streets. And it's a great way for you to support the work that we do completely

00:01:34.460 willingly. And in turn, we give you your say. So also on Odyssey, you can leave something called a

00:01:40.520 hyper chat. And again, if it's above the $5 US minimum will obligate me to read it on air. Now,

00:01:50.280 thank you for having patience with us. Last, well, it would be the Friday before we broke for the

00:01:58.020 holidays. I know many of you were expecting a live stream. I was gravely ill. And so we decided to just

00:02:05.020 cancel the live stream. I was completely willing to tough it out as best I could, but I was noticeably

00:02:14.760 sick. So thank you for your patience and turning back up to talk to us again this week. Let's talk

00:02:23.900 about, since we are on the topic of the holidays, Christmas holidays, if it's a holiday, you know,

00:02:31.580 Trudeau took off somewhere fancy. And if Trudeau's having a holiday, you know, he's having an ethics

00:02:37.820 scandal. And that is the case with this one. Trudeau was given a free stay. This is from the

00:02:46.420 Calgary Herald. Trudeau was given a free stay at a $9,300 a night luxury Jamaican villa over the

00:02:53.960 Christmas holidays. And if I am to understand this correctly, this was also a former slave plantation.

00:02:59.900 So that's a little bit on the nose for old blackface there. You know, pull down statues and 1.00

00:03:10.520 cancel people here in Canada for not living up to the woke standards of today. But he can vacation at

00:03:15.580 a former slave plantation. No big. Anyway, the prime minister stayed in a private compound at a

00:03:21.660 luxury beach resort in Jamaica that rents for $9,300 per night, provided to him at no cost. Now,

00:03:28.860 come on. We know that they're saying that there's no cost. That's absolutely not true. It's just that

00:03:35.700 he's not footing the bill. Makes you wonder what is being offered in kind. Do you remember when he

00:03:42.660 stayed at the Aga Khan's island? And in turn, the Canadian taxpayer made a substantial contribution

00:03:54.660 to the Aga Khan's foundation? So I wonder what's happening here. I guess that will remain to be

00:04:01.580 seen. Let's keep going. It says over the holidays, the prime minister stayed in a private compound at a

00:04:06.440 luxury oceanfront resort in Jamaica. The rents for over $9,300 a night. Again, long time friends

00:04:13.660 surface in every Trudeau story. If they aren't being appointed to decide whether or not the liberals

00:04:21.340 should get in trouble for benefiting from Chinese interference, they're giving you free stuff.

00:04:29.500 It was a 10-day vacation with his three children and wife, estranged wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.

00:04:39.800 The prime minister's office had not disclosed exactly where in Jamaica the Trudeau stayed,

00:04:45.500 but photos posted on social media during the trip showed two family members relaxing poolside

00:04:50.160 at the Frankfurt Villa secluded beachfront enclave that is part of the Prospect Estate Resort near

00:04:57.920 Ocho Rios or Ocho Rios. I don't know. Anyway, the resort is owned by the family of Peter Green,

00:05:06.300 a businessman with ties to Trudeau's family dating back to the 1970s through his late father,

00:05:13.320 Pierre Elliott Trudeau. Frankfurt is one of the five villas at the resort that can be rented out.

00:05:19.000 During what the resort calls the festive period. Of course, these people use Christmas holidays.

00:05:24.960 The Frankfurt is available for $7,000 US a night. The rate would be $84,000 Canadian

00:05:32.980 for the nine nights the Trudeau spent in Jamaica. Now, they're not supposed to take stuff for free,

00:05:41.000 but apparently this trip was cleared in advance by the new federal ethics commissioner, Conrad

00:05:46.580 Von Finkelstein. That's the perfect bureaucrat name, by the way. The PMO said the commissioner was told

00:05:53.700 from the start that the Trudeau's accommodations were provided for free to the family.

00:05:58.400 Now, I'm curious. Where did the RCMP details stay? Because they're not allowed to take stuff for free,

00:06:11.860 right? It says, on Trudeau's trip to Prospect Estate at the end of 2022, so this is the second time he's

00:06:22.740 been there. The additional expenses to keep the Canadian Armed Forces Air Crews and the Royal Canadian

00:06:27.360 Mounted Police Protective Detail in Jamaica cost the government over $149,000. The Privy Council

00:06:34.920 office paid another $14,000 to have a staff member stay nearby the resort to ensure a secure phone line

00:06:41.600 was available to the Prime Minister during his vacation. Now, Trudeau is rubbing it in our faces

00:06:47.920 this year, and this is why. And, you know, I loathe to say it, but Glenn McGregor, whom I

00:06:55.140 make fun of quite frequently, he's done some good work here. Now, the reason I say they're rubbing it

00:07:02.820 in our faces is this next part. He's already gotten in trouble for ethics violations surrounding this

00:07:10.760 estate and last year's vacation to it, so he thought, you know what, whatever, screw you guys,

00:07:16.020 I'll do it again. In April, Trudeau faced questions about a potential conflict of interest over the

00:07:20.840 December trip to Prospect Estate because Green's family has donated in the past to the Trudeau

00:07:25.760 Foundation, which the Prime Minister's family is connected to. And Green's sons, Alexander and

00:07:32.840 Andrew, both from Bermuda, have funded a Trudeau Foundation scholarship honoring their late mother,

00:07:37.780 Mary Jean Mitchell Green. So incestuous, isn't it? But it seems about right, because Trudeau can't 0.99

00:07:48.860 take a vacation and do it properly. You never heard about this stuff when the Harpers, for 10 years,

00:07:56.340 were taking family vacations. We didn't pay for Stephen Harper's nanny. We didn't do any of that

00:08:01.940 stuff. He took care of his family on his own. And that like every time Trudeau decides that he needs

00:08:09.280 a vacation, one of, I don't know, I think he spends like 50% of the days of the year vacationing.

00:08:15.900 Every time he takes a vacation, it's embroiled in an ethics scandal every single time.

00:08:21.680 Um, but breakfast television over at what's breakfast television? Is that city TV? I don't

00:08:30.640 even know. I don't watch regular TV, by and large. But at breakfast television, their morning show,

00:08:37.620 I guess, unwatchable, from what I can tell, they don't want to hear anymore about us being upset about

00:08:45.160 the constant ethics violations where Trudeau gets a free vacation from his friends and the Canadian tax

00:08:51.620 fair does something in return for Trudeau's friends. Um, they're just so sick and tired of it.

00:08:57.260 Um, yeah, me too, but for different reasons. Let's hear from these, uh, well-kept mainstream media

00:09:02.700 handout journalists.

00:09:05.440 From situation, but he's going to visit friends and family at a friend's resort of some kind. I think that

00:09:11.880 is just fine. Now, there are moments like at the Queen's funeral, like those were not cheap

00:09:16.460 accommodations, uh, the prime minister and team had. And we can, we can, we can go back and forth

00:09:23.080 on kind of what's appropriate and inappropriate there. Cause I kind of see both sides of it. But

00:09:27.640 again, I'm kind of, I'm very proud to be on a show where we don't carry a lot of water here.

00:09:30.780 Like we kind of call it as we see it. And I, at times have not been a real friend to this prime

00:09:34.840 minister, but I'm done with this. This is the most garbage headline in Canadian politics right now. 0.98

00:09:41.800 There is nothing more ridiculous you're going to see on any website than that. Do you know 1.00

00:09:46.980 what, like a back bench MP in their first term in this country makes? It's close to $200,000.

00:09:54.700 That's your money. That's our money. That's my money. Tams, mayors, everyone. All right.

00:10:02.240 You don't hear about where anyone goes on vacation. Who's not prime minister. You don't hear about

00:10:06.600 where they spend that money because that's still technically our money. Maybe not security detail

00:10:10.960 with Polyev, maybe not security detail with Jagmeet Singh, but that's still, we still pay all of

00:10:16.280 them. And I don't bring out that card a lot, but that is a fact. And I'm talking like the most

00:10:21.960 inexperienced MPs in this country make about $200,000. They've barely been in the house of

00:10:29.020 commons. So until I know where everyone in the conservatives went on vacation, until I know where

00:10:34.700 everyone on the NDP side went on vacation, the Parti Quebecois and the one person left in the Green 0.96

00:10:42.620 Party, until I hear all of that, I don't want to hear this garbage. It's the most ignorant thing in 0.99

00:10:47.560 Canadian politics right now. I want to, because anytime they go on vacation, guess what? We're 0.98

00:10:52.140 paying for it too. We're paying for Polyev's vacation, Jagmeet Singh, everybody. And even the ones that

00:10:58.180 aren't important, let's be honest, the real backbenchers, we pay for all of them. He's the

00:11:02.800 prime minister. He still is very, very, very important to what we do and how we conduct our

00:11:07.600 business. I don't care what you think of them. And you need to find a new headline. There's enough

00:11:11.840 of them. Believe me, there's enough. I've seen the polls. You've seen the polls. It's a lazy

00:11:16.360 headline. It's ridiculous. Find a new angle because we're getting really lazy in this country when it 0.99

00:11:23.200 comes to this. Back off. And I hear Jamaica is lovely this time of year. Breakfast television

00:11:28.180 is going. How clueless is that guy? Yes, the taxpayer pays this. Look, this guy is so wrong.

00:11:40.160 All of a sudden, I'm going to defend MPs who work on the taxpayer dime. This is how wrong this guy is.

00:11:47.500 This is the place in which I find myself. If Pierre Polyev takes a family vacation,

00:11:54.260 I haven't paid for his family vacation. Yes, I paid Pierre Polyev's salary, like I pay a gazillion

00:12:01.840 other government employees' salaries. But I didn't pay his way somewhere. I didn't pay $200,000 for a

00:12:10.120 security detail to follow him around. And I didn't pay for whatever payoff his friends are going to get

00:12:16.420 on behalf of the taxpayer. That's the difference here. How does this guy not understand this?

00:12:21.720 By the way, he works for bailout media. So if we want to talk about who's on the dime of the taxpayer,

00:12:28.120 fine, buddy. You're no better. You're no better than those MPs that you're ranting about. They are also

00:12:36.260 paid by the taxpayer. You, buddy, are also paid by the taxpayer. What did you do over Christmas?

00:12:42.240 Because according to your logic, I paid for your Christmas vacation. So please tell me what you're

00:12:47.480 doing with your money. Or is that just your salary? There's a difference between being on the taxpayer

00:12:54.000 dime and then spending your taxpayer salary to do things, which is what the other MPs do, which is

00:13:03.520 actually what this guy does too, versus what Justin Trudeau is doing. Going on luxury expensive vacations,

00:13:10.960 which are optically terrible considering the fact that Canadians are suffering through one of the most

00:13:16.080 difficult inflationary crises in Canadian history. Housing is absolutely insane. People are not taking

00:13:24.640 a tiny staycation because of the cost of living. And he's off on a millionaire's island. And then he's

00:13:32.940 got a history of ethics violations. We've got enormous bills to deal with his security detail and the flight

00:13:40.740 crews and parking the plane or both planes. You know, it would have been respectful for Canadians to say,

00:13:47.460 look, we're taking a staycation. Canada's a beautiful place. You know, we're going to go to

00:13:54.100 Harrington Lake, which we just paid a gazillion dollars in upgrades for. We're going to use the

00:14:00.260 ski, the cross-country ski trail there that they keep upgrading, that Canadian taxpayers keep paying for,

00:14:07.600 in case you didn't know. And the full Olympic-sized skating rink that they keep on the ice there for him

00:14:13.300 to use, I don't know, once a year. But they maintain it all year. He could have said that.

00:14:19.480 But he didn't. And like, this is why people don't watch regular TV anymore. Because you have clueless

00:14:28.220 people like this guy opining and making these false equivalencies that now leave me defending MPs.

00:14:36.660 That's how wrong he was. Look what he's done to me. Could you imagine being so wrong that I'm

00:14:40.940 defending how MPs spend their Christmas vacation? Gross. We have a clip about Trudeau 0.94

00:14:49.360 talking about how he chose this vacation. He did this talk. It was like an end-of-the-year

00:14:57.820 interview with this absolutely little-known fellow. I've never heard of him before, actually. And I'm

00:15:04.760 from the media. And I've never really heard of this guy before. But apparently, he's so chummy with

00:15:10.080 Justin Trudeau. And he's so important in the media landscape that Justin Trudeau came on his video

00:15:15.160 podcast. And he suggests, I think this is what's happening here, that it was the kids who chose

00:15:24.580 the trip to Jamaica at the longtime family friend of Trudeau's dad. Sure, buddy. Anyway.

00:15:31.400 Without poking my nose where it doesn't belong, you have a new situation to navigate at home.

00:15:38.640 How's the kids? How's everybody doing? Kids are good. Sophie and I are best friends. Great. We will

00:15:44.520 stay that way. Great. And that's, we're even going to, you know, we're going away on holiday together

00:15:49.240 this Christmas. And that'll be, that'll be good. It'll be great. How do you decide, by the way,

00:15:53.400 when everybody talks about, oh, the prime minister's gone away again. How do you decide where you're going

00:15:57.340 to go? Do you talk to the kids? Yeah, talk to the kids. Yeah, see where you want to go? What are you

00:16:01.840 feeling like? Yeah, what are you in the mood for a beach or whatever? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay.

00:16:05.920 Like most families do. And, you know, look at, yeah.

00:16:08.920 Is your Christmas shopping done? Speaking of a Canadian tiger.

00:16:13.720 Mostly. Mostly? Mostly. I still have a little, little, little bit to do.

00:16:17.560 Are you going to get a Christmas break? Okay.

00:16:21.140 Imagine, you got to sit down with the prime minister and you're asking him if this Christmas

00:16:28.640 shopping is done. Does Justin Trudeau really want me to believe that it wasn't the fact that

00:16:33.800 this is a longtime Trudeau Foundation donor and a longtime friend of the family? That's the reason

00:16:44.500 he chose this ethics murky trip that he wants me to believe that the kids chose the Jamaican

00:16:53.820 vacation. I also wonder if Sophie brought her boyfriend on this vacation. You know what I'm

00:16:59.980 going to do? I'm pulling the flight records. I want to know if it was a very awkward family

00:17:06.600 Christmas vacation because Trudeau's soon to be ex-wife or estranged ex-wife brought her boyfriend

00:17:14.880 on the Challenger jet and then shacked up with him on the Christmas vacation. But yeah, it's the

00:17:21.740 kids who did it. The kids chose the Jamaican vacation, not Justin Trudeau. And he's like,

00:17:28.240 and look how out of touchy he is too. He's like, oh, and I asked the kids, like, do you, it's Christmas.

00:17:32.240 Do you feel like a beach, a luxury beach vacation or something else? And then he goes, you know,

00:17:38.400 like most families do. Excusez-moi. I don't believe most Canadian families are like kids. 0.61

00:17:45.880 Do you want to go on a luxury Jamaican beach vacation at a private resort? Do you just want

00:17:51.100 to stay home this year? The ball's in your court. Like most Canadian families, especially ones dealing 1.00

00:17:57.240 with what Justin Trudeau has done to the economy, are having that conversation with their kids

00:18:02.760 at all. Anyway, I think we've wrapped up all the things I needed to say about Justin Trudeau's

00:18:10.400 Christmas vacation. It is garbage. I agree with that ill-informed talking head over at Breakfast 0.99

00:18:18.300 Television. It is garbage, but for different reasons. And also his take was garbage. Absolute garbage. 0.99

00:18:24.600 Um, anyway, let's hit an ad break and we'll come back and then we'll talk about, uh, the rise of 0.98

00:18:30.980 anti-Semitism in Canada going, well, basically completely unabated, particularly in the GTA.

00:18:38.620 Justin Trudeau's new censorship law, Bill C-18, it's a shakedown and a desperate attempt to keep

00:18:44.220 the mainstream media afloat. Many have already lost their ability to access our Facebook and Instagram

00:18:49.680 pages. The blackout will soon affect every user in Canada. We've partnered with

00:18:54.380 private internet access, a VPN provider dedicated to safeguarding digital privacy. For just $2 a month,

00:19:00.840 you can maintain your access to our content across all your devices at piavpn.com slash rebel news.

00:19:09.340 Do you want to start feeling like your pre-COVID self again? You're not alone. The wellness company's

00:19:15.440 spike support formula is an all natural supplement to help people do just that. It was created by

00:19:22.200 cardiologist Peter McCullough and his expert team of doctors to help the people experiencing effects

00:19:28.560 from COVID. And the, you know, go to TWC.health slash rebel today.

00:19:43.620 Alrighty. It's funny how Andrea has to dance around scientific facts in that ad to avoid extreme 1.00

00:19:51.020 censorship. Um, let's talk a little bit or a lot bit about what's going on in Toronto. You know,

00:20:00.700 they say these never ending Hamas blockades in Canadian cities. They're about anti-Zionism. Okay. 0.54

00:20:10.560 That's great. Um, but I don't believe that that's a lie. Um, they are anti-Semitism,

00:20:17.320 particularly because they are targeting Jewish neighborhoods and Jewish businesses in Canada.

00:20:25.460 It's anti-Semitism. It's not really anti-Israel. It's a pernicious age old bigotry, uh, just being

00:20:33.600 cloaked in the veneer of anti-colonialism BS. Um, we've got this story here, Zionist infested areas. 0.94

00:20:42.300 This is on rebelnews.com. Anti-Israel protests increase in Canada over the holidays. Since the

00:20:48.540 Hamas terror attack in early October, there's been a steep increase in far-left protests against

00:20:52.820 Israel, including attempts to disrupt Christmas and New Year's celebrations. Um, 0.55

00:20:58.900 they are mobbing Eaton Center. They plan to cancel Christmas. They tried to storm the mall.

00:21:08.900 In mid-December, all we saw, uh, various, uh, various factions of the anti-Israel movement,

00:21:17.580 which seems to be also, um, an extension of anti-Americanism, uh, taking to the streets. We saw

00:21:26.520 Salman Sima, an Iranian refugee whose crime was holding a sign that said, Merry Christmas. 0.94

00:21:38.900 He was assaulted. He had his shoulder dislocated and it all happened in front of the police. He was

00:21:47.380 hospitalized in Toronto because of this. He was holding a sign that said Hamas is a terrorist

00:21:53.740 organization. And it is, it's a listed terrorist entity in Canada. And he gets assaulted by police or,

00:22:02.540 excuse me, he gets assaulted by anti-Semitic protesters in Toronto, feet away from police,

00:22:09.900 hospitalized. Guess what? No charges. No charges against him. Multiple, or no charges

00:22:15.920 against the person who committed the crime against him. Multiple angles, multiple videos,

00:22:23.360 no charges. No charges yet. Um, and this, this is nothing new. Actually, we're seeing the Toronto

00:22:30.020 police. Maybe we have footage of that. Drives me crazy. It's like a funeral procession style

00:22:36.180 entourage escort that these anti-Semitic mobs are getting through the streets of Toronto.

00:22:45.040 Toronto. Um, I don't know if we've, we have footage of that, but it took place yesterday in Toronto. Um,

00:22:54.480 we also have had, uh, here, let's take a look at this. Do we have video, audio? Official organizer?

00:23:02.440 Okay. Um, I just want to let you know, there's some of the instructions that we've got. You guys are

00:23:07.440 obviously, you know, allowed to be here. You want to tell them? Yeah. Well, I can tell whoever is, like,

00:23:12.580 the spokesperson and the guy.

00:23:13.840 Any spokesperson? Oh, let's put it out. Yep. Let's translate each other.

00:23:24.580 I've got my body cam on too, as well. Thank you.

00:23:26.700 Hey, how are you? Good. Okay. I just, there's nothing like hanging off the side of the

00:23:32.420 side of the side. Oh, look at that. You can honk for Gaza, but you can't honk for freedom.

00:23:45.100 You guys can just make sure that there's nothing hanging over that way. Nothing can,

00:23:51.700 can fall onto the highway. We're good, right? Sorry? Don't put anything over with zip ties.

00:23:59.280 This is not quite what I was looking for.

00:24:09.200 Maybe we can find some of that, but it's readily available if you're on X, formerly known as Twitter.

00:24:15.280 You can see these anti-Semitic marches targeting Jewish neighbourhoods in Toronto,

00:24:22.900 and they're getting a police escort through the neighbourhood.

00:24:25.060 They're blocking the streets, which is not what the Freedom Convoy did.

00:24:29.720 The Freedom Convoy always left a lane of traffic open because the Freedom Convoy was full of logistics experts.

00:24:38.560 Instead of getting the Emergencies Act pulled on these people, they are getting a police escort through town.

00:24:45.580 I was talking to Salman Seema, the man who was assaulted at a pre-Christmas anti-Semite march.

00:24:58.060 And, you know, he noticed the real difference between how the Freedom Convoy is being treated versus this stuff.

00:25:06.580 And it's no secret that a lot of this is being funded by the terrorist financiers in the Iranian regime.

00:25:16.980 There's Salman right there, and he got beat up for holding that.

00:25:19.460 But we know that the deep pockets of the world's largest financier of terrorism, the Iranian regime, 0.99

00:25:30.120 has been helping to at least promote, maybe even finance a lot of this stuff.

00:25:37.400 And yet nobody's bank account is being frozen.

00:25:39.460 But if you gave $20 to a trucker for some coffee along the way, you not only had your bank account frozen,

00:25:46.900 but if you were a farmer, Farm Credit Canada denied you financing.

00:25:51.640 Isn't that interesting?

00:25:53.880 We've got a story.

00:25:56.600 I believe David Menzies was on the scene of this yesterday.

00:26:00.240 So expect a story coming out on rebelnews.com about this.

00:26:04.520 Fire and graffiti at a Jewish-owned business targeted being probed as hate-motivated.

00:26:14.200 Really, you think?

00:26:15.880 The building was burned and it was defaced with graffiti reading Free Palestine on the rear doors.

00:26:21.600 Now, is this an Israeli-owned business?

00:26:24.520 Nope.

00:26:25.420 These people happen to be Jewish, but Russian.

00:26:30.320 So this is not, again, specifically anti-Israel or anti-Zionist or anti-colonialism, as they say.

00:26:40.620 This is age-old anti-Semitism.

00:26:44.120 If you are Jewish or Jewish-adjacent even, no ties to the state of Israel whatsoever,

00:26:52.060 you can have your property burned.

00:26:54.640 And they might investigate it as a hate crime.

00:26:59.560 You'll note the name is IDF.

00:27:02.740 Now, that is not Israeli Defense Force.

00:27:04.680 I think it's International Deli...

00:27:07.540 I forget the last part.

00:27:13.320 International Delicatessen Foods.

00:27:15.660 But these people don't care. 0.98

00:27:20.920 If it's owned by Jews, they get to burn it, I guess. 1.00

00:27:23.780 That's what's happening.

00:27:25.180 And I will tell you, with the number of...

00:27:27.760 And we'll talk to that in a minute.

00:27:29.600 With the number of Christian churches burned and vandalized over the last two and a half years,

00:27:34.920 plus all the hate crimes targeting synagogues, Jewish day schools, Jewish-owned businesses,

00:27:41.800 Jewish-run businesses like Chapters, Indigo, Flower Shops,

00:27:47.580 there would be a national crisis on our hands.

00:27:54.360 And I think there is.

00:27:55.380 It just goes unacknowledged by the prime minister.

00:27:58.840 But remember how the prime minister weighed in on the hijab hoax many years ago?

00:28:05.480 Not even all that many, maybe four years ago.

00:28:08.440 A young girl claimed that an Asian man...

00:28:12.500 I think she meant Caucasian.

00:28:13.840 That's what she was probably coached to say.

00:28:16.080 But young kids, they don't know those grown-up words.

00:28:18.940 She said a Caucasian man pulled that and snipped at her hijab.

00:28:23.040 The prime minister weighed in on that.

00:28:25.520 He sent some tweets in support of her and, you know, blah, blah, blah, diversity is our strength.

00:28:32.620 It was a hoax.

00:28:33.840 It was a hoax. 0.91

00:28:34.620 The Chinese community, the Asian community was maligned as hate criminals.

00:28:39.460 They never got an apology from anybody who pointed the finger in their direction,

00:28:44.700 including Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

00:28:46.980 But you think Trudeau will weigh in to say something about,

00:28:50.960 hey, maybe let's not burn businesses for the crime of being Jewish-owned. 0.57

00:28:59.040 He's busy.

00:28:59.860 He's on vacation, you guys.

00:29:01.760 Let's go to this tweet from the big boss man, Ezra Levant.

00:29:06.620 He says, I just scrolled through a 340-person neighborhood chat.

00:29:20.520 And this is in relation to anti-Israel, but I'll just call them anti-Semitic activists,

00:29:26.340 on Avenue Road 401 overpass.

00:29:28.940 And we saw images of that.

00:29:30.300 That was the Avenue Road 401 overpass.

00:29:33.000 The reason they're targeting that Avenue Road overpass is because it's in a Jewish neighborhood.

00:29:41.020 So they're trying to make Jewish people feel unsafe in their own neighborhoods in Canada.

00:29:48.920 Anyway, Ezra says, could you imagine?

00:29:52.380 This is like the, like as Ezra has said in the past, 0.92

00:29:54.780 this is like the Klan marching through a black neighborhood. 0.96

00:29:57.000 I mean, it's atrocious, right? 0.92

00:30:00.460 But that's what is happening in Toronto.

00:30:03.120 Nobody seems to care.

00:30:04.260 Well, I shouldn't say that, but nobody in charge seems to care.

00:30:08.420 Ezra says, I just scrolled through a 340-person neighborhood chat group for Armor Heights,

00:30:14.040 the largely Jewish community blockaded by Hamas with the approval of Toronto police.

00:30:19.240 The main discussion is how to leave Canada and to where?

00:30:23.580 I bet it's Florida.

00:30:25.380 If I had to guess, I would say it's probably Florida that they would leave to.

00:30:31.100 Freer, friendlier, and a large Jewish community there.

00:30:35.580 I think that's where everybody from New York retires to.

00:30:39.860 Yankee Pollock, our social media manager, he's your local redneck Jew where he lives. 1.00

00:30:48.400 So I bet you it's there.

00:30:49.720 But, I mean, this is a conversation that was had, I think, in France not all that long ago

00:30:57.140 when they had a real spate of anti-Semitic motivated hate crimes and murders, by the way.

00:31:06.160 And a lot of Jewish people felt it was unsafe to be openly Jewish on the streets.

00:31:16.760 For example, not wearing a kippah, but maybe wearing a baseball cap instead.

00:31:23.980 And a lot of them were saying, like, it's not safe for us here.

00:31:26.740 Where do we go?

00:31:27.860 Well, now we're having that conversation about Toronto because of the complete and total lack of leadership

00:31:33.100 of Mayor Olivia Chow, who I think has probably run the numbers and said,

00:31:37.520 there are more of these people than there are of Jews.

00:31:40.680 So whether it's right or wrong, she doesn't care.

00:31:43.940 She's playing the vote game. 1.00

00:31:45.740 And it's a horrible, horrible, cynical thing to do.

00:31:49.960 But these people care more about power than they do about doing the right thing.

00:31:53.720 Except for this guy.

00:31:58.380 UBC professor of medicine resigns over its response to rising anti-Semitism.

00:32:06.340 Dr. Ted Rosenberg claims the University Faculty of Medicine has failed to redress rising anti-Semitism

00:32:14.660 on campus during the Israel-Hamas war.

00:32:18.600 And, you know, we see so much of this stuff just percolating on campus.

00:32:21.960 Again, because, well, because Qatar has funded a lot of universities,

00:32:28.960 but also because universities are just a hotbed of leftism.

00:32:32.860 And leftism is generally anti-Americanism.

00:32:36.200 And what's the most American place in the Middle East?

00:32:39.160 Israel.

00:32:40.260 I mean, half the country is American.

00:32:42.260 And they've got a real patriotic sense.

00:32:44.820 They're an entrepreneurial nation and everybody serves in the military.

00:32:48.660 And so if I were to point to the next most American place on the face of the earth,

00:32:54.120 it wouldn't be Canada after the United States.

00:32:56.700 For me, it would be Israel, having been there three times.

00:33:00.400 I spent probably 30 days of my life in Israel.

00:33:06.560 Dr. Ted Rosenberg of Victoria has been with UBC for three decades,

00:33:10.480 and he sent a resignation letter on New Year's Day to the medical faculty dean,

00:33:15.500 Dr. Dermot Kelleher, effective Tuesday.

00:33:19.400 The three-page correspondence outlines the number of Rosenberg's grievances,

00:33:23.040 including that a medical student has been circulating a petition featuring anti-Israel

00:33:27.720 and anti-Semitic statements in the name of supporting Gaza residents

00:33:30.580 during the Israel-Hamas conflict.

00:33:32.940 He also claims that an assistant professor in the faculty has been posting historically

00:33:37.460 revisionist anti-Jewish statements and memes on social media without any repercussions from

00:33:42.520 UBC administrators.

00:33:44.320 One post cited Rosenberg shows an image of the Christian Holy Family.

00:33:48.120 Oh my God.

00:33:49.540 Under the rubble in Gaza as it is bombed by Israel.

00:33:55.180 The Christian Holy Family was Jewish.

00:33:58.500 The Christian Holy Family might have been, look, we want to play this game. 0.92

00:34:03.820 The Christian Holy Family was Jewish.

00:34:06.480 In fact, all of the early Christians did not consider themselves not Jewish.

00:34:13.220 They just were a different sect of Judaism until like the fourth century.

00:34:20.300 But we want to play this game?

00:34:22.600 Well, the Virgin Mary, if we're doing this, she would have been targeted by the rapists 0.95

00:34:32.600 and murderers of Hamas, right? 0.91

00:34:35.120 As a Jewish, as a young Jewish girl.

00:34:39.120 They wouldn't have been buried under the rubble of Gaza. 0.91

00:34:42.800 By the way, every single civilian death in Gaza hangs squarely around the neck of Hamas 0.90

00:34:46.680 like a millstone.

00:34:47.340 So, the professor writes, I cannot think of a clearer example of classical Jew-hating

00:34:56.340 anti-Semitism than this modern-day resurrection of the charge of deicide, he wrote.

00:35:03.540 The accusation of being Christ killers was responsible for the worst violence and oppression

00:35:09.520 against Jews for millennia.

00:35:12.140 Yeah.

00:35:13.780 Yeah.

00:35:15.920 These demonization, these demonizing accusations are not just directed against the state of

00:35:21.140 Israel, but by proxy to all its supporters, including the vast majority of Jews in the

00:35:26.180 diaspora.

00:35:27.240 We, as Jewish faculty, feel these attacks personally and deeply.

00:35:32.580 Again, tug at a hijab, straight to jail.

00:35:36.080 Straight to jail, even if it actually never happened.

00:35:38.700 Um, and one last thing from the, uh, infestation of anti-Semitism on Canadian University, Kansas.

00:35:51.160 McMaster University sued for $77 million over alleged anti-Semitic incidents on campus.

00:35:57.520 The lawsuit alleges Jewish students have faced increased difficulties due to a rise in anti-Semitic

00:36:02.680 rhetoric on campus since October 7th, 2023.

00:36:06.520 It's a class action lawsuit brought against McMaster University and the McMaster Students Union on

00:36:14.600 behalf of Jewish students.

00:36:18.420 Uh, it goes on to say that a vigil organized by Jewish student groups had to be moved to a

00:36:27.060 secret location for safety reasons, as well as a McMaster teaching assistant who allegedly

00:36:32.880 supported the public display of a swastika outside of Canada's Parliament Hill, as examples.

00:36:42.500 It's crazy.

00:36:45.380 It's crazy.

00:36:46.680 Imagine being a Jewish family and trying to send your student off, your 17-year-old off to 0.98

00:36:52.660 university.

00:36:53.220 Where do you choose?

00:36:54.360 Where do you choose?

00:36:55.200 What do you do?

00:36:55.880 Where will they be safe?

00:36:56.860 Uh, we saw, like, mob violence at Canadian universities early on in the, um, Hamas-Israel 0.98

00:37:06.220 conflict.

00:37:07.980 Um, I, I just, you know, like, for me, I'm like, where do I send my child that she may

00:37:12.920 not be brainwashed?

00:37:14.220 Could you go to a trade school?

00:37:15.380 Can you get, be a welder like your big brother?

00:37:17.540 Um, for me, it's, uh, I'm concerned about my child being brainwashed, although she's pretty

00:37:23.960 smart and she's a bit of a trad Catholic.

00:37:27.500 Um, but imagine being one of a number of Jewish families considering where to send your child

00:37:35.300 to university, um, tens of thousands, thousands of dollars in tuition every year for them to

00:37:41.800 have to face this, run the gauntlet of anti-Semites so that they can go to class. 0.85

00:37:46.220 It's just gross. 0.95

00:37:47.860 Uh, let's hit an ad break.

00:37:49.560 Uh, we have about 23 minutes left in the show.

00:37:56.560 I am doing something today that I have never tried before.

00:38:00.640 Listen up.

00:38:01.660 I'm looking for collaborators in a new and exciting initiative.

00:38:05.060 As you most likely know, YouTube a long time ago delinitized Rebel News and we are

00:38:11.240 100% viewer funded.

00:38:13.160 Now, while our supporters are fantastic at helping us cover legal campaigns and special

00:38:18.060 reporting missions, unfortunately, the reality is our day-to-day operational expenses often

00:38:23.480 exceed our income stream, which is crazy.

00:38:26.820 If you think about it, because my videos across all platforms attract hundreds of thousands

00:38:31.420 of views and sometimes even millions.

00:38:33.400 So I want to share that reach with the right partners.

00:38:38.620 If you have a product or business and want to enter a win-win relationship with me, please

00:38:43.980 go to rebelnews.com forward slash ads and fill in the form to let me know.

00:38:49.840 I won't be accepting anyone.

00:38:51.100 I need to believe in your business or product so I can sell it proudly for you.

00:38:57.620 And for successful applicants, I will guarantee a minimum view count.

00:39:01.920 Meaning, even if your ad is published on the less popular reports, we'll keep promoting

00:39:07.200 your business or product until it gets the agreed minimum eyeballs.

00:39:11.260 So again, if you have a cool company or product that either wants to take advantage of my reach

00:39:17.500 or want to support my work through advertising in a way that you can write it off as a tax

00:39:25.000 deduction or both, head over to rebelnews.com forward slash ads and hopefully we can join

00:39:32.620 forces soon.

00:39:33.740 I've got a chilling story for you next.

00:39:40.040 And the reason it's chilling is because Canada has agreed to accept a thousand applications

00:39:45.580 from Canadians' relatives in Gaza as refugees.

00:39:53.740 And this is chilling for me because I know the last time there was a conflict,

00:39:58.180 I know the level of screening, as in next to none, being done on Syrian refugees who are

00:40:08.940 attempting to come to Canada.

00:40:10.120 And we know one of Justin Trudeau's Syrian refugees who was imported into the country at the time

00:40:14.620 was just convicted of murdering a young teenage girl whose name is covered with a publication

00:40:21.580 ban in the greater Vancouver area.

00:40:24.420 And we also know that like two-thirds, sorry, three-quarters, although it's probably more,

00:40:31.760 considering it's probably more the younger they get, by the way, that of residents of Gaza,

00:40:41.780 civilians of Gaza support Hamas.

00:40:44.040 We know that support for Hamas across the Palestinian territories has increased since the October 7th,

00:40:54.400 murderous spree across southern Israel that left 1,200 dead and I think 240 at the time kidnapped into Gaza.

00:41:04.460 And many of those kidnapped bees are likely presumed dead.

00:41:10.380 By the way, the Red Cross has never even attempted to see them.

00:41:14.260 Isn't that crazy?

00:41:15.580 Never even tried.

00:41:16.300 So anyway, this is all very frightening because back in the day, five years ago maybe,

00:41:25.940 I pulled access to information documents from Immigration and Refugees Canada.

00:41:33.100 And I wanted to know what sort of screening was being done on Syrian refugees.

00:41:37.780 And so like the murder of that girl in Vancouver by Ibrahim Ali, it's horrific, but also no shock. 0.65

00:41:47.320 Because I know that from those records, and it should have been a national scandal,

00:41:53.860 but I covered it, not the mainstream media, so, you know, whatever.

00:41:58.300 That the federal government was prioritizing family units in the refugee queues.

00:42:10.120 Okay?

00:42:10.500 Makes sense.

00:42:11.620 You're thinking, mom, small children, maybe dad's killed or off fighting,

00:42:16.220 so we want to get the families through the immigration queue faster.

00:42:19.800 Except they didn't define what a family was.

00:42:23.900 So two fighting-aged men with no IDs or compromised IDs,

00:42:30.380 because we know that ISIS had seized control of some passport printing documents,

00:42:38.360 I think, when they took control of some of the areas in northern Iraq and Syria.

00:42:45.920 So you couldn't really go by passports for people's names,

00:42:52.500 but for, you know, for the immigration bureaucrats, it was good enough.

00:42:58.760 You could be two fighting-age men and claim you're brothers,

00:43:01.500 and guess what?

00:43:02.020 You're at the top of the immigration queue to come to Canada

00:43:05.260 with potentially compromised ISIS-issued documents.

00:43:10.400 I saw it.

00:43:11.360 I saw it in the records.

00:43:12.620 And they would, like, give, they would black out the names,

00:43:17.020 but they would say this person and this person, brothers, and give their ages.

00:43:22.680 They are coming as a family unit to Canada.

00:43:25.440 So they already don't screen refugees as well as they should,

00:43:31.660 especially places where there is extreme radicalism

00:43:35.140 and it's hard to separate the radicals from the normals.

00:43:38.040 And then we also know that Justin Trudeau has decided that we need to take 1,000 refugee claims.

00:43:47.380 I don't know what that means.

00:43:48.280 Does that mean families?

00:43:49.840 So it could be, like, 5,000 people?

00:43:53.700 From a place where already terrorism is a perfectly acceptable means of resistance,

00:44:01.600 according to them, and the schools teach terrorism.

00:44:07.940 They have little kill-the-Jew pageants.

00:44:10.200 That's not me making that up.

00:44:12.100 They do.

00:44:12.880 And those are UN-funded and UN-run schools.

00:44:16.460 But now, if we go to this story from True North,

00:44:20.800 now that I've spent five minutes setting up how terrible this really is for Canadian public safety,

00:44:25.560 the refugee board is not tracking claimants who lie about their age despite past cases.

00:44:34.620 The federal tribunal in charge of approving refugee and asylum claims say

00:44:38.740 it's not keeping track of adults who lie about their age

00:44:42.480 and claim they were unaccompanied minors upon arrival in Canada.

00:44:46.120 So they're gaming the system.

00:44:47.700 They probably gamed the system by walking across at Roxham Road,

00:44:51.300 and then they lied about their age to stay in the country.

00:44:56.920 And if you lie about your age, you're probably lying about your identity

00:44:59.880 and your reasons for being in the country, right?

00:45:03.880 But they are not even bothering to keep track of these people.

00:45:09.520 And I guess it doesn't preclude them from continuing on with their refugee claim.

00:45:15.820 Like, it's pretty clear that they don't care.

00:45:17.780 But True North asked the Immigration Refugee Board of Canada

00:45:23.120 to provide statistics on how many adult claimants were discovered

00:45:26.460 to have misrepresented their age to immigration officials.

00:45:29.160 The board said such data is not tracked.

00:45:31.560 So they don't even care.

00:45:34.440 Under, like, of course, like,

00:45:37.300 an unaccompanied minor is somebody under the age of 18

00:45:40.200 that's not accompanied by their parent, family member, or legal guardian.

00:45:42.860 As of January 1st, 2017, there have been 876 refugee asylum claimants

00:45:52.060 registered as unaccompanied minors

00:45:53.880 and referred to the Refugee Protection Division

00:45:57.360 for further evaluation.

00:46:01.420 The board has overseen cases where adults have misrepresented themselves as minors.

00:46:06.600 A 30-year-old refugee from South Sudan claimed he was 17.

00:46:10.800 This is a creep show.

00:46:11.780 He claimed he was 17 to attend grade 11.

00:46:16.440 He was even granted a full athletic scholarship

00:46:19.520 and played on a Windsor, Ontario Catholic High School's basketball team.

00:46:26.120 What in God's name?

00:46:28.480 That is creepy as the day is long.

00:46:31.780 His passport and official documents claimed his birth date to be 1998.

00:46:35.900 However, he had made other representations in the United States,

00:46:39.860 claiming to have been born in 1986.

00:46:43.260 Despite all of this, stealing opportunities from actual young boys,

00:46:48.300 Nicola was released from custody and the CBSA dropped the case.

00:46:52.560 Welcome to Canada, buddy.

00:46:53.980 This is immigration fraud. 0.98

00:46:58.720 Good work, by the way, by our friends over at True North asking these questions.

00:47:03.640 So what I'm saying is I think we're going to have a lot of 30-year-old people,

00:47:11.460 young men with, oh, my God, how did they think he was 17?

00:47:16.240 That guy has a mortgage, a minivan.

00:47:22.480 Look at him.

00:47:23.700 He's got a receding hairline.

00:47:26.120 And he's playing as a 17-year-old basketball star.

00:47:29.520 You know what?

00:47:30.100 This is just, you know what?

00:47:31.680 There's a trans age, right? 1.00

00:47:35.980 Melody Wisehart, Nicholas Zepeda, he can be a 13-year-old girl.

00:47:40.540 This guy can be a 17-year-old boy, I guess.

00:47:44.420 But yeah, the moral of the story is we're going to have a heck load of 30-year-old dudes

00:47:51.140 in grade 11 with terrorist and radical tendencies coming to Canada very, very soon.

00:48:00.380 That's what I think.

00:48:01.680 Because, why?

00:48:03.500 Because it's already happened.

00:48:05.080 Let's go to this next story about, this gets, I'm trying not to swear, filed under no-shoot

00:48:13.720 Sherlock.

00:48:15.580 BC cops were not fully prepared for drug decriminalization, says this.

00:48:28.640 What's the tie-e?

00:48:29.960 A local journalism initiative reporter.

00:48:32.880 So this is funded by the federal government.

00:48:35.980 Her career is funded by the federal government.

00:48:38.940 But yeah, so we know that BC cops were blindsided by the fact that the BC government gave a directive

00:48:47.120 that, look, you guys aren't going to be rounding up the drug addict recidivists who are creating 0.99

00:48:54.960 a black hole of social decay in the neighborhoods.

00:48:57.340 You guys are just going to turn a blind eye to it.

00:48:59.180 And it's clear the cops weren't prepared for it.

00:49:02.760 And how could you be?

00:49:03.760 How could you be prepared for the government to say, you know what, it's just going to be

00:49:08.840 a free-for-all.

00:49:09.860 Hard drugs?

00:49:10.740 Do them.

00:49:11.360 Who cares?

00:49:12.940 Treatment?

00:49:13.540 What's that?

00:49:14.940 You know what?

00:49:15.580 Maybe we'll even give you the drugs.

00:49:18.620 The cops were blindsided by it.

00:49:20.340 I bet they were.

00:49:21.500 I bet they were.

00:49:22.360 But this is what the federal government wants for every city in the country.

00:49:26.620 Thank God Alberta is a little bit more clear-headed on this issue. 0.99

00:49:34.300 Yeah, look, when British Columbia's drug decriminalization project came into force last year, only two-thirds

00:49:39.260 of police officers had been trained in what that meant.

00:49:43.300 Yeah, of course.

00:49:44.140 Because police officers see crimes and it's almost, it's their reflex to want to do something

00:49:51.160 about it.

00:49:51.680 When they see people harming themselves, they want to intervene and stop.

00:49:54.960 Um, but they were asking the cops who were trying to save lives to just turn a blind eye

00:50:05.380 and the cops had no idea how to do that.

00:50:08.200 How do you train people to ignore somebody slowly killing themselves?

00:50:13.000 I don't know.

00:50:13.820 I guess, I guess they wanted them to do that in BC and the cops had a hard time adjusting.

00:50:18.640 Who knew?

00:50:20.240 Uh, we've got also from our friends at True North.

00:50:24.000 Um, before we move into, uh, the last 10 minutes of the show, in the portion we call

00:50:30.320 stunning and brave, um, let's talk about this, uh, update.

00:50:33.920 A map of the 96 churches that have been vandalized or burned since the residential school's announcement.

00:50:41.440 Uh, this is, like, look at that.

00:50:45.620 Great work by our friends over at True North.

00:50:48.920 This is a project of Cosmin Georgia, uh, whose name is just so damn fun to say.

00:50:54.000 But he has been tracking this from the very beginning, since the very first announcement

00:51:00.580 that, uh, there was a discovery of a mass grave.

00:51:05.460 That's how they first reported it at the Kamloops Indian Residential School, where to this day

00:51:12.780 there has not been a single body unearthed.

00:51:18.460 Not one.

00:51:19.840 And I'll tell you, there are, there's not a lot that the UN does well.

00:51:28.100 But they are actually very good at investigating genocide.

00:51:32.880 A lot of it has to do with the fact that they mostly stand there and watch the genocide happen,

00:51:37.720 Rwanda, and do nothing.

00:51:40.320 So they've had a bird's eye view of the genocide.

00:51:42.860 So they know how to find it.

00:51:43.940 They know how to detail it.

00:51:44.920 They know how to catalog it.

00:51:47.060 We've accused Canada.

00:51:49.340 We, we mean the politicians, the fancy people, the tall foreheads, have accused Canada of being

00:51:55.840 a genocidal state.

00:51:57.120 And they've said that the discovery at the Kamloops Residential School is evidence of that.

00:52:04.120 Great.

00:52:04.660 Call in the UN.

00:52:05.900 Call in the investigators, the genocide investigators, the ones that investigated in the former Yugoslavia,

00:52:11.340 the ones that investigated in Rwanda, the ones that investigated in northern Iraq.

00:52:16.660 Call those people in.

00:52:17.880 Call them in.

00:52:18.980 Let's get the shovels in the ground. 1.00

00:52:20.120 You know, if there is health to pay and people to hold accountable, great.

00:52:24.420 We can only do that through an investigation.

00:52:26.700 You cannot claim a crime has been committed and then not investigate the crime so that

00:52:30.620 you can hold the people to account.

00:52:32.440 Except insofar as this, we're supposed to take oral histories as proof.

00:52:37.900 Well, that might be proof for you and your community, but there's not proof in a court of

00:52:42.340 law.

00:52:42.580 And when you're accusing people of crimes, you need to have evidence.

00:52:45.300 And we have had zero evidence of what's happened in Kamloops.

00:52:49.840 And now 96 churches in Canada have been vandalized, burned down, or desecrated.

00:52:59.240 And they've used this, if you wouldn't mind, friends in the office, scrolling through just

00:53:10.660 this awful list.

00:53:14.300 St. Paul's Anglican Church, St. Columba Church, St. Anne's Catholic Church, Chopaka Catholic Church,

00:53:19.740 Sacred Heart Mission Church.

00:53:21.520 That one really gets me because that Sacred Heart Mission Church, that's an indigenous 1.00

00:53:25.820 church.

00:53:27.160 That's an indigenous church.

00:53:28.680 You burn down the church of the indigenous people who are by and large, Catholic, by the 0.99

00:53:34.140 way.

00:53:36.100 St. Gregory Mission Church.

00:53:39.840 Again, a Catholic church on the band.

00:53:42.540 Grace Lutheran Church.

00:53:43.640 Our Lady of Peace in Peace River.

00:53:49.200 It's just Siksika First Nation Catholic Church.

00:53:52.100 Again, they're burning indigenous churches where indigenous people are baptized, married, received 1.00

00:53:58.340 their sacraments, and buried.

00:54:00.240 They're burning their histories.

00:54:03.680 St. Jean-Baptiste Parish in Morinville.

00:54:07.980 Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church.

00:54:10.020 Again, indigenous church. 1.00

00:54:13.200 The Polish Roman Catholic Church.

00:54:16.500 That one made me sad to see it.

00:54:19.360 St. Kateri.

00:54:21.180 St. Kateri is an indigenous Catholic saint.

00:54:25.940 She was very recently canonized, by the way.

00:54:29.180 She's called the Lily of the Mohawks.

00:54:32.400 And she's very, like, in the last 10 years canonized.

00:54:35.960 I have to train my tongue not to say, Blessed Kateri, because she was beatified but not yet

00:54:41.320 canonized.

00:54:42.140 And now she's canonized.

00:54:43.480 She's a Canadian indigenous Catholic saint.

00:54:45.800 They burned her church.

00:54:47.680 They burned her church.

00:54:49.080 Samson United in Mascosys.

00:54:51.820 Again, that's on reserve.

00:54:55.620 Little Flower Mission in Fox Lake.

00:54:57.920 So many of these are churches that serve the indigenous community.

00:55:06.780 And it makes me very, very upset to see all, just the list of these names.

00:55:14.200 Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Catholic Church in Fort Chip.

00:55:17.240 Another indigenous church.

00:55:18.540 St. Teresa Point, Roman Catholic Church.

00:55:24.060 That's on the First Nation in Manitoba.

00:55:27.260 St. Gabriel Catholic Church.

00:55:29.420 That's Janvier.

00:55:30.320 That's on the reserve.

00:55:34.540 Even, oh, they even went after the Latter-day Adventist churches.

00:55:39.320 Like, it's just God's Lake First Nations Church.

00:55:41.860 I would guess that 50% of these serve indigenous communities.

00:55:53.960 It makes me so mad. 0.99

00:55:55.960 The one that really I found so upsetting and stupid, besides all the fact, besides the fact 0.98

00:56:02.900 that they were burning indigenous churches where indigenous people go, it was the Our Lady 0.99

00:56:07.940 Queen of Poland Catholic Church in Edmonton.

00:56:11.080 Then, now, what was a church where you could, and I've done it a hundred times, walked up

00:56:17.980 and they have this statue of Pope John Paul II outside of the church and you could sort

00:56:24.720 of come up and touch it.

00:56:26.040 And now the church is, like, fortified.

00:56:30.000 Like, the yard of the church is fortified.

00:56:34.320 And it's under video surveillance because they splashed paint all over the statue of Saint

00:56:40.360 Pope John Paul II, another saint I have to train myself to say.

00:56:43.860 He was the most ecumenical of, I think, all the popes towards the indigenous community.

00:56:52.440 Just Google John Paul II kissing indigenous people. 1.00

00:56:57.420 And you'll get a hundred photos of him.

00:57:00.140 He felt deeply connected to reconciliation with indigenous people, that there was a spot

00:57:06.840 for them in our church, in our faith, to worship in their own languages, within their own culture,

00:57:13.620 because he felt our church was a church for everybody.

00:57:16.880 And they vandalized that.

00:57:18.320 And now the people in that neighborhood, which is a very low-income neighborhood, they can't

00:57:25.620 even visit the church because the church is fortified because of this vandalism.

00:57:29.920 It's just revolting.

00:57:31.360 And again, 96 churches across the country, burned, vandalized, destroyed, otherwise desecrated.

00:57:39.760 And all we get is Christian bashing from the powers that be.

00:57:44.780 Um, let's go into Stunning and Brave, the Stunning and Brave portion of the show.

00:57:52.200 Uh, let's do this, uh, first article, uh, which I thought was kind of fun.

00:58:01.400 This isn't a total suck-up, bailout, uh, audition for more government money headline at all.

00:58:08.200 Completely at all.

00:58:09.180 This calm and cutting liberal mom is looking to give the conservatives a timeout. 1.00

00:58:16.780 Uh, when was this published?

00:58:19.300 Published January 4th.

00:58:23.060 Karina Gould knows how to throw a hefty political punch. 1.00

00:58:27.540 She often does it with a smile. 0.83

00:58:29.960 Just six months into her role as government house leader,

00:58:32.360 Gould has redefined what it means to be a prime minister's chief attack dog.

00:58:36.460 Is that, is that Karina Gould, uh, who took a picture with a Nazi?

00:58:42.480 Is that the one?

00:58:44.080 Don't even mention it once.

00:58:46.740 Once in this entire article that she brought shame to the nation and her family and her name. 0.99

00:58:54.920 Um, oh, they, they mentioned it briefly.

00:58:58.200 Uh, she said it was a very difficult personal moment for her.

00:59:02.740 Um, she, but they don't actually mention that she took a picture with him.

00:59:11.980 They just sort of dance around the topic of her maybe being in the house of commons when all this went down.

00:59:18.780 They don't show, like, her with him, like, hey, look, look at me.

00:59:22.280 We dusted off a Waffen-SS guy, one of the last remaining on the face of the earth. 1.00

00:59:26.940 Um, and, uh, one who felt so comfortable with the Liberal Party that he knew that he could come out of hiding and, uh, be honored as a war hero.

00:59:37.020 Anyways, yeah, they briefly touch on this.

00:59:39.600 Um, former Speaker Anthony Roda resigned his post amid controversy in September during a visit by Ukraine's president to the Canadian Parliament.

00:59:46.400 He honored a Ukrainian-Canadian veteran who fought for a Nazi unit during the Second World War.

00:59:52.340 She says, as someone whose family suffered immensely at the hands of the Nazis, it was a very difficult personal moment for her.

00:59:59.620 Um, Gould said.

01:00:01.980 Okay, but was it difficult when you took that picture with him?

01:00:06.080 When you gave him a standing ovation?

01:00:08.020 When you, like, look, this real difficult, you know what was difficult?

01:00:12.100 It's because you are so embroiled in deep-seated anti-Russianism that, for her, the Russians are worse than the Nazis.

01:00:26.380 So, they gave him a standing ovation as somebody who fought the Russians. 0.99

01:00:30.740 Yeah, but the Russians were on our side, you lunatics. 0.93

01:00:34.100 Um, she said it was a difficult personal moment for her. 0.96

01:00:37.020 Don't look difficult, does it?

01:00:38.380 Anyway, what an audition for, uh, a little bit more government money, that article was.

01:00:46.440 Um, and lastly, because we're getting to the top of the hour, we have to touch on this one because David Menzies is not on the show, but this is a very David Menzies topic.

01:00:57.820 Uh, it's from the New York Post.

01:01:00.800 Women and non-binary skiers. 0.96

01:01:04.160 Oh, God, you guys fixed, uh, sexism and homophobia all at one time.

01:01:09.760 Women and non-binary skiers. 0.96

01:01:11.340 I'm scared to hit the play button on that.

01:01:13.360 Um, women and non-binary skiers to zip naked down Colorado Mountain at Liberating Festival Full Frontal Freedom. 0.99

01:01:22.560 Look, don't lump me in with these people.

01:01:25.500 That's the part that I can't stand.

01:01:27.480 It's like women and non-binary skiers. 1.00

01:01:29.160 Non-binary skiers, no, don't, they're, are they completely naked? 1.00

01:01:35.800 Can't you, ah, sexism is fixed, you guys.

01:01:39.900 People skied naked.

01:01:41.440 Thanks.

01:01:42.680 Female and non-binary skiers.

01:01:44.380 What is a woman, by the way? 1.00

01:01:47.720 Female and non-binary skiers will get the chance to zip naked down a Colorado mountain as part of a festival its organizers describes as full frontal freedom. 0.98

01:01:54.760 How are we going to make sure there are no kids on the ski hill that day?

01:01:58.180 And no, there won't be any men sneaking glances at any unclothed ski bums.

01:02:02.480 Except for the guys that are saying that they're women so that they can just ski down the hill with their wang in full helicopter mode with the ladies who are completely buck naked. 0.64

01:02:15.400 And this solves sexism somehow.

01:02:18.640 Look at this.

01:02:19.340 Solved.

01:02:22.300 Guys, we've solved all the problems.

01:02:24.000 We skied naked.

01:02:26.700 Also, you know, like if it's an icy day and you wipe out.

01:02:31.060 Ah, I don't know.

01:02:32.200 Anyways.

01:02:34.100 A boot tan festival is gearing up for its fourth year of inviting women to hit the slopes fully nude for an after-hours ski run at Sunlight Mountain Resort in Glenwood Springs on March 29th to 30th.

01:02:45.540 Founder Jenny Veraci, 33, said the event started unintentionally.

01:02:50.320 Okay.

01:02:50.920 To create a safe space for female skiers that would allow women to be free in a private place. 1.00

01:02:58.780 Oh, so this started at a women's only, as a women's only thing?

01:03:02.300 Okay, then why are you letting the dudes in?

01:03:06.220 Because they claim to be non-binary. 0.99

01:03:07.580 This year, again, just taking up all of our spaces, but I've never felt as a woman that I needed a place where I could be fully naked in the outdoors on an otherwise public facility.

01:03:25.360 Like, I've never felt that I was experiencing oppression because I didn't have that in my life.

01:03:31.800 Like, go volunteer at the women's shelter. 1.00

01:03:34.580 Go collecting diapers on behalf of teen moms if you want to really make a difference in some women's lives. 1.00

01:03:43.000 This is just privileged white lady garbage, isn't it? 1.00

01:03:47.220 Anyway, this year, the founder opened up the festival to femme-presenting non-binary individuals as well. 0.99

01:03:58.180 Okay.

01:03:59.640 When asked if she feared men might try to sneak in under the guise of non-binary as seen at a women's tech job fair, Veraci isn't worried.

01:04:10.440 We've never had an issue with men or men identifying, I guess.

01:04:17.220 I don't know.

01:04:21.120 Let me know in the comments what you guys think of this stuff.

01:04:24.180 I just, as a woman, I just think this is just so petty and nonsensical.

01:04:28.600 There are real challenges facing underprivileged women. 0.94

01:04:31.460 But going on an exclusive naked ski at what seems to be a very nice high-end ski resort, I'm not sure what problem that addresses.

01:04:44.720 What's the problem?

01:04:47.220 That you're fixing for women. 0.98

01:04:52.680 It's just a bunch of self-indulgent BS is what I think it is.

01:04:59.560 Oh, God.

01:05:01.200 From the Stanley Cup white lady crowd.

01:05:04.560 Okay, let's get into the last couple of things.

01:05:09.800 We have a couple of chats.

01:05:13.020 And thank you to everybody who does send a chat or even engages in lively conversation in the live chat.

01:05:20.360 It's always kind of fun to go back and look and see what you think about what I'm saying about things.

01:05:25.520 But also to see what your opinions are on the topics that we're talking about.

01:05:29.080 We've got one from Aaron Burton 32.

01:05:32.840 Gives us five bucks and says, I hope you and the whole Rebel team had a great Christmas and New Year's.

01:05:37.340 Keep up the awesome work.

01:05:38.420 It's all very much appreciated.

01:05:39.560 Well, thank you very much.

01:05:40.260 It's very generous.

01:05:41.100 I think, by and large, most of us had a nice Christmas break.

01:05:46.800 We tried to keep, you know, up with the news as best we could and make sure that there was content for you guys.

01:05:53.800 Some of us were gravely ill and had to convalesce for like 10 days as I was.

01:05:59.880 But no, it was good to just sort of take a step back from the pressure cooker of news and enjoy what it's really all about.

01:06:09.600 Friends, family, your faith.

01:06:12.040 It was good.

01:06:12.800 It was good.

01:06:13.260 Thank you.

01:06:13.620 I hope you had one too.

01:06:14.380 Um, Irish Ice, I think, uh, gives us 10 bucks and says, until Westerkind faces anti-whiteism head on, they have no chance of stopping the white erasure of the West or putting an end to the anti-white narrative that psychologically imprisons them.

01:06:36.360 That's 10 bucks.

01:06:37.640 Okay, well, I have, I'm of two minds on this.

01:06:40.720 First, I do believe there is anti-white racism.

01:06:44.380 It's particularly pernicious in the public sector and in universities where, you know, you see these hiring quotas that say, um, we're looking for, uh, someone who is a sexual minority or woman and a person of color or an identifiable minority group or BIPOC, as they say.

01:07:08.140 So particularly excluding men from the application process to hit a diversity quota.

01:07:14.860 I think that's racism.

01:07:15.920 When you're excluding someone on the basis of sex, uh, I was going to say gender, but I don't believe in gender.

01:07:21.920 Sex on the basis of sex on the basis of biological sex and, um, on the basis of an immutable physical characteristic, like the color of their skin, that's absolutely racism.

01:07:35.840 And it should not be allowed to go on.

01:07:38.240 But as far as conservatism, I'm a cultural conservative in that I believe in not, I don't care if Canada's white. 0.89

01:07:52.340 I care if the people here have our shared values.

01:07:56.900 I'll go back to Salman Seema.

01:07:58.560 He's out there as an Iranian refugee to Canada protesting for Canadian values.

01:08:05.340 Salman Seema, not white.

01:08:08.840 Representing Canadian values. 0.84

01:08:10.440 I would much rather have Salman Seema on my side than a lily white, naked skier, feminist that we just talked about in the last story, right? 1.00

01:08:25.420 Like, doesn't that make sense?

01:08:27.720 So, uh, I care about people's equality and the characteristics of their character and not the color of their skin, which is not a new concept.

01:08:38.880 It's a Martin Luther King concept.

01:08:42.400 And so, you know, like, look, I'll be the first to tell you, I think a lot of the problems of today's society comes from the voting habits of suburban white ladies who voted for Justin Trudeau because he had nice hair and socks.

01:09:00.180 And, but under your argument, those people are more acceptable than somebody like Salman Seema.

01:09:10.120 And I, I just, I don't, I don't agree with that for, I'll give you another example.

01:09:14.680 There is a very large Filipino population at my daughter's school, her Catholic school, and they attend my church.

01:09:26.580 And my church has never been more trad and more orthodox than when that community started to populate my church.

01:09:36.680 They are so involved.

01:09:38.040 The church is young, lively, and traditional.

01:09:41.820 They complain about stuff at the school before I have to, when we're dancing in heresy country.

01:09:49.000 They bought, the school administration has already heard about it from the Filipino families before I get around to it. 0.72

01:09:55.040 I don't have to complain about the intrusive percussive instruments at mass, notably a tambourine.

01:10:02.980 Somebody else has already complained about it from a Filipino family. 1.00

01:10:06.520 Um, so, what's the moral of the story there?

01:10:11.540 Um, uh, it's cultural conservatism.

01:10:14.700 People don't have to share your genetic makeup to share your values and make this country a better place.

01:10:24.400 So, thank you for your donation.

01:10:26.320 Um, I do, so, I'm of two minds there, as I said.

01:10:30.700 I believe there is pernicious anti-white racism in universities and in the public sector and in the, uh, DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion industry nonsense.

01:10:42.600 Uh, that's absolutely true.

01:10:46.620 But, uh, I believe there are many traditionally conservative cultures, um, whose values align with ours.

01:10:56.940 And I'm happy to have them so that I don't have to be the only complainer at the school and at the church.

01:11:01.540 So, that's it.

01:11:03.600 Um, thank you, everybody, for bearing with me on the first show back of the New Year's.

01:11:09.040 Thank you to everybody who watches the show, um, chats in the live chat, pitches in a couple of bucks to keep the lights on.

01:11:16.060 Thank you to everybody who works behind the scenes in the office, uh, to make sure the show is available for you whenever and wherever you want to watch it.

01:11:25.540 And as my friend David Menzies always says, stay sane.
