00:00:59.980 Avi Amini and grassroots activists in Australia got the electoral system changed.
00:01:04.860 I'm Sheila Gunn-Reed and you're watching The Gunn Show.
00:01:18.220 today's story is very complicated and as a canadian who only understands first past the
00:01:30.300 post electoral systems there's no way i can explain it to you so i'm bringing in my colleague
00:01:36.940 avi amini from australia and he's going to explain how he got the electoral system changed there
00:01:44.320 by registering a Free Palestine Party,
00:01:49.500 which is odd because many of you know that Avi Yamini
00:01:52.400 fights Islamic extremism on the ground
00:01:56.220 and he served in the Israeli Defense Forces.
00:01:59.620 So why did he start a Free Palestine Party
00:02:03.040 and how did it end in the electoral system being changed in Australia?
00:02:07.820 Here's my interview with Avi. Take a listen.
00:02:14.320 so joining me now is my friend and rebel news colleague from australia avi amini he's also
00:02:22.960 the head of the apparently most misleading political party on the land down under avi
00:02:30.100 tell us what you've been up to because i think your little scheme is great i mean if something
00:02:36.580 isn't uh quite all the way broken why don't you just get in the system break it and hopefully
00:02:42.560 someone will fix it after the fact. Tell us what you've been up to. Yeah, absolutely. And listen,
00:02:47.160 if people are surprised to see in the near future, my pronouns in my ex-bio has changed to
00:02:54.740 Free Palestine, you'll understand at the end of this one. Essentially, what's happened is in
00:03:00.800 Victoria, in the state that I live, there was something called the group voting ticket. And
00:03:05.940 the reason why I'm saying there was is because of what we've done, it has now been abolished.
00:03:11.480 And many people have tried. All it took was this little scheme, which they call misleading.
00:03:18.040 The truth is, I was the most honest about it and we'll break it down in a second.
00:03:21.960 But essentially, the way it worked is we have preferential voting systems where you can, it's not first pass the post.
00:03:27.640 It's essentially you vote who you want first.
00:03:30.620 But if they don't get through, then the next person, I don't know what system you guys have there, if you have something similar.
00:03:37.140 But essentially, it allows for your, the idea of it is so that your vote doesn't go to waste.
00:03:42.500 So let's say that there's three parties running, two are conservative or two are left wing, one is conservative.
00:03:50.300 Now, you really want, you know, for the lefties, they want a really extreme left one.
00:03:55.760 But it's, but essentially, they don't get through.
00:03:58.820 So your vote won't end up being dead.
00:04:02.200 It'll go to your next best option, the left wing party, as opposed to the right.
00:04:06.260 and vice versa. So essentially when there's a, you know, a great example is in the UK right now,
00:04:11.980 you see Reform and Restore running against the Tories. So you've got three parties there
00:04:18.100 competing for the Conservative vote. And then what ends up happening is it splits the vote
00:04:23.660 and then the Labour Party walks in, scoops all that, as long as the Greens doesn't do the same
00:04:29.780 to them. That's the idea behind it. I'm not against the preferential voting system in itself,
00:04:35.620 But what we had in this state is something called group voting tickets, which meant that instead of you, the voter, selecting where your preference goes, you just vote one for a party above the line and the party then decides where your preferences go.
00:04:54.500 And the reason why this was so corrupt and dodgy is because essentially the left for many years now, 20 years, have been abusing the system where they started parties based on slogans and then grabbed whatever, a percent here, a percent there, putting them all together and getting people up in parliament in the Senate, so in the upper house, where we, almost more important, the balance of power, where nothing can, where they can block.
00:05:24.200 and passed legislation, and they got them on very low percent. So there were people in parliament
00:05:29.520 with less than a percentage of the vote, but because of the preferential system,
00:05:34.860 they were essentially getting up, and you need a quota of 16%, they were getting up in parliament
00:05:40.720 against people from the One Nation Party who would walk in with, let's say, 9, 10, 11, 12%
00:05:46.600 of the vote. So people with less than a percentage taking those spots instead of the people that are
00:05:53.340 representative of the community. And One Nation was the biggest, One Nation, which is run by
00:05:58.080 Pauline Hanson, close to Rebel News. You see lately, she's been promoting Rebel News in a
00:06:04.880 highly anticipated and broadcasted press conferences. But the point is, so it was
00:06:13.900 designed for two reasons. It was used for two reasons. One, to get up these left-wing parties
00:06:21.420 that were propping up the Labour government here on two sides.
00:06:27.420 On one front, they were actually stopping groups like the Greens
00:06:31.880 from becoming a major bloc
00:06:35.080 so that when they need to negotiate stuff from a left-wing standpoint,
00:06:39.760 they can go to all these little groups and go,
00:06:41.420 listen, animal justice, you guys are a bunch of weird freaks
00:06:45.000 and you just care about one thing.
00:06:46.980 We'll give you this little thing, but you vote with us on everything.
00:06:49.940 And that way they don't have to make constant deals with the Green Party.
00:06:52.840 And then the other side of it is to stop parties, and this is the big one, especially now, to stop one nation who their primary vote is extremely high at the moment.
00:07:04.720 And they're actually the most popular political party across the country now, much to the dismay of the Labour Party, but also to the so-called Conservatives.
00:07:14.300 So, and this was no secret.
00:07:16.120 For years, there's a guy called the Preference Whisperer, who has been working with the Labor
00:07:20.780 government, Labor Party.
00:07:21.980 No secret.
00:07:22.700 This is not some big conspiracy.
00:07:24.160 He was pretty open about what he did.
00:07:25.660 And he was actually selling these positions, selling votes, selling seats in Parliament
00:07:30.120 on two conditions.
00:07:31.820 One, that you would essentially support the Labor government, especially when it came
00:07:36.300 to group voting tickets, not calling for electoral reform.
00:07:39.360 And the second is that One Nation would be last. And over the years, in some of the reports that we published during this campaign, is showing this preference whisperer talking about this exact thing that One Nation is done because he holds them, he keeps them at bay by manipulating the group voting ticket.
00:08:02.300 So that's a bit of the background for people who don't understand the system we have here.
00:08:06.560 And what we did, well, it wasn't my idea.
00:08:10.320 It was essentially a guy called Morgan Jonas and Monica Smith.
00:08:13.180 People might know Monica Smith.
00:08:14.300 She did Reignite Democracy through COVID.
00:08:17.780 So they came up, Morgan came up with the idea and Monica executed it at first and came to
00:08:24.180 us to tell us, you know, the press, the story of what they're doing.
00:08:28.780 And they thought that this election coming in November, which is super important in Victoria, they're going to flip the script. They're going to start a party. They're going to start parties, launching parties using left wing slogans, but this time to funnel the votes to the right.
00:08:45.860 In the last election, those, I know many viewers, you might not know much about our politics, but you would remember a guy called Daniel Andrews, Dan Andrews.
00:08:53.660 He was considered around the world as Dictator Dan.
00:08:56.880 Well, there was a party, for example, that was launched right before the last election called Sack Dan Andrews.
00:09:02.460 Sack Dan Andrews.
00:09:03.620 And, you know, if you read that, at that point in time, you know, he's super angry at the COVID response and a lot of his policies and the corruption in the government.
00:09:13.240 you would have just done, yeah, vote one, sack Dan Andrews.
00:09:16.060 The only problem with it is that they were finaling those votes back to the Labour Party.
00:09:20.700 And so the idea came from that because we went through that election.
00:09:25.120 She was very active. Morgan was very active in that last election.
00:09:28.160 So they launched a party, a left-wing party about climate change.
00:09:33.200 And they came to me and said, hey, we've got this story about what we're trying to do,
00:09:37.100 flipping the leftist strategy on them in this upcoming election to finally help conservatives
00:09:45.260 get up. And I thought, this is a fascinating story. This is amazing. I love it. But I feel
00:09:52.000 like we can do it that little bit better. Of course. It's such a rebel news move.
00:09:57.840 Exactly. And in fact, as soon as I heard it, I said to, I called Ezra and I said, Ezra,
00:10:03.340 I don't know how you feel about this, but this is the way, and I had to explain the group voting
00:10:06.900 ticket, the way the system works. And I'm like, I'm thinking I want to start a party, one party
00:10:11.720 that will bring everybody on board, every nutcase across the political spectrum from the far left to
00:10:17.340 the far right to the Islamists. It is the trendy thing to do at the moment. Free Palestine. You
00:10:24.180 know how many numbnuts you're going to get. And the idea is they only grab a percent or two and
00:10:30.220 you're taking it from the left and you're giving it to the right. So you're doubling it essentially.
00:10:33.380 you're taking left-wing votes so every percent that you take is actually two percent because
00:10:37.940 you're taking one there and you're giving it to the right um and you know ezra love the idea of
00:10:45.760 course so we launched the free palestine party we had to attract the members uh you need a minimum
00:10:52.520 of 500 members uh and i announced it and it was the fastest growing political party in our history
00:11:01.080 Within two days, we got over a thousand members. I was calling for 750 just so we have a bit of a buffer. Within two days, we got a thousand and we immediately went to register. But hold on a minute. There was every stumbling block thrown at us.
00:11:14.600 So firstly, the outrage from the left-wing media was insane.
00:11:22.840 I was expecting backlash, yes.
00:11:25.700 I was involved.
00:11:26.700 There was going to be some controversy.
00:11:28.880 But it was insane, these sudden campaigns that were launched from the Greens Party itself to GetUp,
00:11:38.000 which is like a far left-wing political lobby in Australia that's, you know, been involved in some of the most controversial left-wing campaigns in the country.
00:11:49.580 Most recently, if people have been watching Australian politics, they interrupted Pauline Hanson's speech to the press gallery in what is considered a major security breach.
00:12:02.800 um but essentially everyone and the ABC the ABC who I'm banned from ever being platformed on even
00:12:11.460 though these days we get more viewers than that 50 billion dollar taxpayer funded scam um they
00:12:19.520 invited me on because they were going to give me a hammering and I completely destroyed him in fact
00:12:24.160 on their own um radio station people were calling in going I don't even like that guy but he's right
00:12:31.740 So it was quite, it was, it's kind of this funny place to be.
00:12:36.100 And at that time, Jacinta Allen, who was the premier,
00:12:40.180 she's been ousted since then, but she was a premier and she was saying,
00:12:44.700 you know, there was reports in those days following,
00:12:48.640 in reaction to what we had just done, that they're not really talking.
00:12:53.580 She's hesitant is the words that they were saying,
00:12:55.580 hesitant to change the group voting ticket.
00:12:57.180 But as soon as we got the numbers, they started really panicking.
00:13:04.040 And like I said, they threw every stumbling block before us.
00:13:07.720 They were trying to campaign the Victorian Electoral Commission to ban us
00:13:10.740 because I was saying that I am trying to steal the left-wing num-nut vote
00:13:16.160 and give it to the right and the Islamist vote
00:13:20.500 and give it to people that want to ban Sharia law.
00:13:23.680 so they was basically complaining complaining to the victorian electoral commission that what i'm
00:13:30.120 doing is misleading and i was responding saying what do you mean it's misleading right you were
00:13:35.980 literally you were literally on the abc explaining exactly what you were doing and i it completely
00:13:43.840 not misleading you were the most truthful and honest person transparent person about using
00:13:49.080 their corrupt system the only problem completely had was that i was finally using it against them
00:13:55.140 you know this same this same uh um you know famous abc uh talkback radio host never said a word when
00:14:03.980 the left has never said anything about it until i did it against him and the vec came back and
00:14:11.780 basically told the media uh well there's nothing wrong legally wrong with what he's doing he's
00:14:18.180 the biggest crime he's committing here is he's actually telling you what he's doing in fact
00:14:24.160 you guys should be smart enough but they know they know that their audience they know that the
00:14:29.460 um the left-wing demographic demographic the new migrants from islamic countries that just hate
00:14:36.700 jews for the sake of for the fact that they've been brainwashed into that for their entire
00:14:41.840 lifetime they're going to vote on a slogan they know it or they're at least scared of it
00:14:46.300 So then what they tried to do is, because the period in which we launched it, there happened to be a by-election in Victoria.
00:14:58.120 And so the VEC said, essentially, we've got your registration, but until the writ is announced, whatever it is, is published, we can't actually process your application.
00:15:11.840 because until your application is approved,
00:15:15.160 until that point, anybody else can run for the same name.
00:15:18.380 So the left-wing groups organized
00:15:21.580 and announced that they're running their own same party,
00:15:25.220 Free Palestine Party.
00:15:26.120 Mine was Free Palestine.
00:15:27.300 Theirs was Free Palestine Party.
00:15:28.700 They were running the same thing
00:15:29.680 and they were in a rush, in a race against us
00:15:32.660 to essentially get it registered before us
00:15:36.980 because suddenly they were given this, you know,
00:15:39.020 extension of about a month.
00:15:40.700 We did it in two days.
00:15:41.840 They were given like a month.
00:15:44.260 And so at that point, we also engaged Justin Quill,
00:15:48.020 who's the top media lawyer.
00:15:49.400 We use him for everything.
00:15:50.660 He's for people that have been following Rebel News in Australia
00:15:53.500 since COVID days.
00:15:55.320 You'll know Justin Quill.
00:15:56.260 He's fought and won many battles for us.
00:15:59.580 But we engage him straight away.
00:16:02.200 And by the way, people that want to help us,
00:16:04.460 because he's not cheap, that was SaveVictoria.com.
00:16:06.680 You can still help chip in to those fees.
00:16:09.580 But they were worth it because he immediately engaged the VEC saying, OK, hold on a second, because a lot of this legislation is untested because these things have never happened before.
00:16:23.040 There's never been two parties running at the same time or one party registering to run.
00:16:30.880 And our position was we fulfilled everything that you need to do to get registered.
00:16:35.340 It's actually just they need to verify 500 members.
00:16:38.740 but that's on them our point was we we gave you what you needed now right and you did it first
00:16:44.380 and so they engaged them and to be fair i think that they put the vec on notice to a degree that
00:16:52.240 they realized that we were taking this serious we were not going to go and roll over over this
00:16:56.640 and if they registered the other party we were going to go to court and when we go to court
00:17:00.720 you can see who we have representing us so make sure that you're doing everything by the book and
00:17:06.740 And don't try to use little grey areas to knock us out of this scheme, this game that we were playing.
00:17:15.480 And we were playing a game.
00:17:16.360 We were playing their game.
00:17:17.280 We were just being better at it for once.
00:17:20.620 And so that played on until we beat, so until the RIT came out and whatever, and the race was on.
00:17:27.920 And we beat them fair and square, even with that stumbling block, because we just had the numbers.
00:17:34.600 And to be honest, I think also the confusion around the free Palestine, like they started campaigns against us and people were so they started a campaign because one of the one of the parts of the process is that people have the right to object to your new party.
00:17:53.180 And so people were publishing, like, put in your objections now.
00:17:57.040 And we got a heap.
00:17:57.960 And we had to get the lawyers again, say, Victoria.com.
00:18:00.460 Like, we had to get them to respond to the objections.
00:18:02.560 So that doesn't become the reason why the other party gets in.
00:18:05.700 But the problem is they got so confused by their own game or by what was going on,
00:18:10.600 they were linking people to object to the other party.
00:18:14.020 So it was just...
00:18:14.620 I love it.
00:18:15.580 It was a complete shitshow.
00:18:16.940 So, end of the day, the day, the day that the VEC notified us that you guys won fair and square, no stumbling block worked.
00:18:29.400 You are now officially the president, Javier Minni, former Israeli Defense Force marksman, is now the official leader of the Free Palestine Party.
00:18:42.440 Within hours of that notification from the VEC, it was reported that the Victorian Labor Party was introducing a bill to overturn the group voting ticket to abolish it completely, meaning – and the funny thing is, from day one of this campaign, I had said that the ultimate goal for us is to abolish the group voting ticket.
00:19:07.980 Success?
00:19:08.420 But if they don't do that, then at least we're going to use their system against them.
00:19:13.920 But for me, look, I don't want to have to run candidates across everything.
00:19:17.600 And also, whilst I'm pretty confident that they're idiots, I don't actually know how it would play out.
00:19:24.440 You don't know till the day.
00:19:27.060 So I prefer, I always wanted that the democratic voting will of the people is what happens.
00:19:33.700 If Victoria's a lost cause and they vote for the left, fine, go for it.
00:19:39.200 But the point is, polling now and in the past, even when polling wasn't showing what it's showing now,
00:19:46.160 One Nation was getting ripped off and we weren't getting the real representation we had voted for.
00:19:51.920 So that's all I want.
00:19:52.720 I want the will of the people to come out on voting day to actually be what we see after the election.
00:20:01.000 and so they ended up it went it passed through the lower house with zero objection so
00:20:07.980 they call you know what um sheila they say that i am the most devil they claim i'm the most
00:20:15.760 divisive person in politics in australia come on show me one person that was able to unite
00:20:21.880 everyone in the lower house to agree on one bill and that was to show me show me one person who
00:20:28.720 can unite the far left the far right and islamists under one banner but one banner for that and then
00:20:37.300 i also brought together liberal and labor which is your um your liberals no what is it what do
00:20:44.500 you guys call it the uh ndp or new democrats no you're one of the two mainstream parties you have
00:20:49.740 liberals and conservatives yeah liberals and conservatives it's confusing because for us
00:20:53.440 the liberal party is actually the conservative but so so we have liberal and labor but i even
00:20:58.500 united them in abolishing. So the entire lower house, not one objection. Then it went to the
00:21:06.280 upper house, the people that actually, the grifters that have gotten in over years on it. And there
00:21:11.160 was some mighty meltdowns. And it was so funny, even at one point, there is one politician in
00:21:20.620 the upper house, which I really like, good, solid guy. He got in using this system twice.
00:21:27.260 And it's a shame that he's probably not going to win again,
00:21:31.600 but it is a worth it sacrifice because for one of him,
00:21:37.160 we'll get five others, right?
00:21:39.820 But he did pose a question during the debate to the Labour Party.
00:21:44.420 Was it the Free Palestine Party that was the reason why you suddenly rushed?
00:21:49.120 Because half their complaints, everyone there that was complaining about it,
00:21:54.180 they weren't actually saying they didn't want to overturn because nobody can it's not a it's not a
00:21:58.920 point which you can argue and anybody in the public is going to agree with you so nobody was
00:22:03.180 saying we shouldn't overturn the group voting together they were just arguing we should delay
00:22:07.040 it till after the election because they just want one more one more bite at the apple they want one
00:22:12.000 more chance to be able to get in because they all know they have zero chance to get in so they're
00:22:15.860 saying they want other changes to go along with it don't need to get into that but he basically put
00:22:21.040 it to the Labor Party, why did you suddenly rush it just before an election when this
00:22:26.120 has been, because the Labor Party was claiming, well, we've had several reports that have
00:22:31.320 recommended that we do this change.
00:22:34.160 And they're all saying, yes, you've had those reports over many years.
00:22:37.720 Why the sudden change?
00:22:39.100 Was it the Free Palestine Party?
00:22:40.360 The Labor Party's like, no, it was not.
00:22:43.500 It was always something we were considering.
00:22:46.200 and of course the left-wing media um just refused to give us the credit but the public is everybody
00:22:56.240 online was like well done you know it worked um the get up you know get up that i told you started
00:23:02.340 a campaign and there remember their campaign this is the most famous biggest you know left-wing
00:23:09.620 lobby group in the country they immediately took credit and remember their entire campaign was
00:23:16.020 let's stop other Yemeni and Free Palestine Party.
00:23:19.220 So even their credit that they're trying to take
00:23:21.700 really is credit to us for starting it.
00:23:24.160 And they didn't, you know,
00:23:25.100 they leave out the whole point
00:23:26.620 that we'd made in the beginning
00:23:29.500 that we were saying that this was our ultimate aim
00:23:32.920 was to abolish the system.
00:23:34.860 Even The Age, which is a left-wing publication,
00:23:38.740 they're reporting in it
00:23:40.260 because even they knew that, you know,
00:23:41.960 that I'd been saying that this was my aim.
00:23:44.340 But they changed it to Avi, who then said his aim was to abolish the system completely, is taking credit.
00:23:54.240 And it's like, guys, it's literally in the first video.
00:23:58.000 You're just so dishonest because even when we do something that you seem to agree is right in protecting democracy, you can't give us credit.
00:24:08.760 But we don't need it.
00:24:09.360 We need the viewers to know that we launched a campaign with their help at that SaveVictory.com, and it succeeded in better ways, in a bigger way than I had even anticipated.
00:24:22.420 You changed the electoral system.
00:24:25.700 We did. We did. It wasn't like, I love, I am a narcissist, you know that.
00:24:30.200 No, it is true.
00:24:31.060 I like taking credit completely, but it is not. It is absolutely Morgan Jonas and Monica Smith who first came up with the idea. And then it was obviously all the people that signed up to the party got behind the campaign and all the people who donated to help us actually be able to fund all the different aspects of it. So I'm just like the smart ass at the end that gets to take the credit, but I'm going to be there. I'm going to be that guy.
00:24:58.640 You're the lightning rod and every good campaign needs a lightning rod.
00:25:02.860 So what happens next?
00:25:04.300 You end up with candidates on all the ballots, like on the ballots in the next election.
00:25:08.380 Where do you go from here?
00:25:09.760 Well, actually, I was actually going to deregister the party immediately.
00:25:14.440 It was going to be the shortest lived party because essentially now we don't need to do it.
00:25:21.240 There's no voting ticket.
00:25:23.080 But I never want to have something so beautiful to go to wage.
00:25:27.940 So we're actually talking about other ideas of how to use the party in the next in this upcoming election.
00:25:42.380 Well, we always turn the last portion of the show over to you at home, our beloved viewer, because I say it every week and I know it sounds cliche, but without you, there really is no rebel news because we don't take any money from the government to do the work that we do.
00:25:55.760 And so I darn well better care about what you think about the stories that we cover and the people that we interview.
00:26:01.840 If you have viewer feedback that you want to send directly to me about my interview with my friend Avi Amini from Australia, you can send it to me at Sheila at RebelNews.com.
00:26:12.820 But also don't hesitate to leave a comment wherever you find any of our work, not just
00:26:18.180 clips of the show, that engagement with our content helps us to be served up in front
00:26:24.300 of more people.
00:26:25.720 It gets us higher in the algorithms on the social media platforms.
00:26:29.460 And really, I think that's the point.
00:26:31.480 We want to reach as many people as we possibly can with the good word of small government
00:26:36.780 and personal responsibility and accountability and free speech and all those things.
00:26:42.140 So today's viewer feedback comes to me by way of my friend and colleague, Drea Humphrey, on her video telling you that the ostrich documentary is done.
00:26:58.160 And she shows you the trailer for the ostrich documentary, which you can see right here.
00:27:12.140 Before this happened, I didn't realize that the government could harm its citizens.
00:27:20.860 I lived completely ignorant bliss.
00:27:24.020 I thought the media couldn't lie.
00:27:25.780 I thought there was rules, and they had to abide by ethical codes.
00:27:30.100 She's all right.
00:27:31.100 Just a bit scared because of all the media attention.
00:27:34.100 That and a touch of bird flu.
00:27:36.100 Stop it.
00:27:37.100 Stop it for one sec.
00:27:38.100 they're trying to recreate it in a manner that the birds are out of control three times they've
00:27:43.220 lied and told you they were sick to think that the government is willing to crush and destroy
00:27:47.620 a family farm how often in history do governments take power away and then give it back i don't
00:27:54.100 think that ever really happens the battle for the birds the canadian food inspection agency
00:28:00.980 has held a multi-family farm's ostrich flock hostage.
00:28:07.240 It made no sense.
00:28:08.700 They would not come in and test those birds.
00:28:11.600 And if they did, they'd threaten them with fines and jail time.
00:28:16.260 Our lawyers looked at the judge and he says,
00:28:18.300 does justice not want to know if these birds are sick or healthy?
00:28:23.560 Not enough to destroy their healthy animals.
00:28:25.340 They want to destroy the people and set an example
00:28:28.380 so that nobody sticks up again.
00:28:30.400 they psychologically just terrorized us it was the most inhumane horrifying thing that they could have
00:28:39.360 done one shot after another shot after another shot after another shot they just didn't stop
00:28:46.640 this is a statement for saying no
00:28:52.160 our government decided to abuse the entity that is the rcmp and use you to do its disgusting dirty
00:28:59.600 word please stop i think it became an ego battle and that they were worried about their image being
00:29:09.840 compromised pay attention to what the politicians are doing pay attention to what the bureaucracy
00:29:17.760 is doing please don't let government overreach ruin this country
00:29:29.600 so comments from that owens fillaire 8189 says this was only the beginning how much profit
00:29:46.060 private property has been given up in bc is not a firearm confiscation from law-abiding licensed
00:29:52.060 citizens private property confiscation yes sir indeed it sure is this government is not done
00:29:57.640 with the ugly things and the media paid for us by us will continue to lie about it simbad
00:30:04.900 909 says a real government doesn't behave this way a criminal regime does
00:30:09.820 you mean killing 400 otherwise healthy ostriches with no evidence requiring their death yeah that
00:30:18.120 seems crazy that's a government that doesn't examine policies as the circumstances change
00:30:25.520 That's just a government that does whatever it wants to its citizens and doesn't feel as though it has to justify why it's doing those things.
00:30:36.840 Ken Skinner, P8F, says, great work, Rebel News.
00:30:40.920 Tell everyone what they did.
00:30:42.060 That's the plan.
00:30:43.580 And that was the plan with COVID.
00:30:45.440 And that was the plan with what happened to the churches during COVID.
00:30:48.900 That's why we did the documentary Church Under Fire.
00:30:50.800 We didn't want the people who did this to our pastors and our churches and our congregations to be able to just move on because that's what they really want.
00:31:00.340 They don't want to have to reflect on the damage they did to people.
00:31:03.560 And same goes with Universal Ostrich Farms.
00:31:08.240 Dudester873 says the inspectors bringing in police guns and then mowing down a bunch of wonderful animals makes me mad.
00:31:13.240 Now, we don't know.
00:31:16.480 Actually, I know the RCMP didn't kill the ostriches.
00:31:20.800 a private company came in to call the animals the RCMP just did the security and
00:31:31.500 but everybody involved should hang their heads in shame the hot mess 1979 this was beyond doubt
00:31:41.340 one of the most horrifying things I've ever seen the Canadian government and the courts are out of
00:31:44.880 control in evil so unnecessary these are not meat birds they are not they're not birds of flight
00:31:52.340 they're in pens they are in contact with no other birds except wild birds and wild birds can do
00:31:58.280 whatever they want it just completely pointless but it's pointless in the same way that the
00:32:09.140 prosecution and of Tamara Leach is pointless in that it doesn't make any sense why you would
00:32:15.960 invest the amount of time and money as a state into prosecuting these people or murdering these
00:32:22.600 ostriches, except insofar as you need to drop the hammer on the people that stand up as a lesson
00:32:29.540 to everybody else, not to get any uncomfortable ideas about the government.
00:32:34.260 five for fighting says thank you dre you are my favorite rebel news reporter i won't forget
00:32:40.700 this ostrich slaughter yeah she's great isn't she i won't take offense to that i'm the favorite for
00:32:47.400 some people but i'm not for everybody and i get that old guy adventures 65 these are the ostriches
00:32:56.240 but how about the millions of birds the cfia call every year nine million birds have been called
00:33:00.720 actually by the CFI just for bird flu alone. That's not talking about any of the other
00:33:07.280 calls that they do. For example, chronic wasting disease in ruminants like elk and deer.
00:33:15.320 I heard about, I had read about a herd of rare sheep, which was called because
00:33:20.360 an outbreak of a disease that happened 20 miles away on other sheep. Now,
00:33:24.800 scrapey can affect sheep it's uh the oh that's the sheep form of uh mad cow disease
00:33:35.060 and encephalitis of certain animals the irony is that these rare sheep could not ever get this
00:33:42.280 disease based on their breed and that's why they were imported from ireland well the cfia doesn't
00:33:46.720 care about your evidence or your science or your facts didn't we just watch the ostrich trailer
00:33:51.840 they don't care you could have proven to the cfia that every single one of those birds
00:33:59.080 was resistant to the avian flu and they still would have killed them because it wasn't about
00:34:07.440 the birds it was about the farm the farmers and all of us learning a lesson about the government
00:34:14.620 and the power that they have over us and our private property.
00:34:19.700 Evidence be damned.
00:34:21.360 Well, everybody, that's the show for today.
00:34:22.900 Thank you so much for tuning in.
00:34:24.100 I'll see everybody back here in the same time, in the same place next week.
00:34:26.780 And as always, don't let the government tell you that you've had too much to think.
00:34:44.620 You
