00:00:00.000 big legal decision this thursday in the fight against the liberals gun grab and then
00:00:19.980 saskatchewan pulls the saskatchiru on the federal government when it comes to protecting law-abiding
00:00:27.240 firearms owners from criminality i'm sheila gun reed and you're watching the gun show
00:00:32.320 chair i'm pleased to offer opening remarks for bill 42 the saskatchewan firearms amendment act
00:00:54.400 2025 this act is about both public safety and recognizing the rights of saskatchewan's lawful
00:01:01.260 firearms owners this bill contains two sets of amendments first the amendments provide legal
00:01:07.980 firearm owners a right to fair compensation for lawfully owned firearms that are rendered valueless
00:01:14.440 by the federal government's recent firearms laws under these amendments the fire a firearm is deemed
00:01:20.860 to be seized by the federal government if firstly the firearm is subject to the new federal firearms
00:01:27.860 laws and secondly the owner does not receive full fair market value compensation under the act within
00:01:35.160 12 months after the federal law comes into effect if the firearm is deemed to be seized the owner may
00:01:42.320 submit a request for valuation by the saskatchewan firearms commissioner and the government of canada
00:01:47.940 is required to pay the owner the full fair market value of the firearms if the government of canada
00:01:54.180 refuses to pay fair market value compensation to the owner the owner could choose to bring a claim
00:02:00.020 against the government of canada for recovery of that compensation these compensation rules apply to
00:02:06.420 handguns that were impacted by the former federal bill c21 and firearms that have been impacted by federal
00:02:14.260 orders in council mr. chair additional house amendments will also be moved today respecting these changes
00:02:21.940 section 117.08 of the criminal code exempts individuals from certain federal firearms laws when they are acting on
00:02:30.580 behalf of a provincial government
00:02:33.140 these house amendments allow saskatchewan's firearms commissioner to designate individuals who are acting on behalf of the government of saskatchewan
00:02:40.260 for the purposes of section 117.08 under this change owners who request evaluation by saskatchewan's commissioner may be authorized to store their firearm on behalf of the province until the completion of the evaluation process and until they have received fair compensation from the federal government to be eligible for this process owners will be required to comply with applicable firearms storage and safety laws
00:03:08.500 by storing their firearms on behalf of the province
00:03:13.540 these owners will be acting directly on behalf of and for the benefit of the province
00:03:18.980 under this approach the saskatchewan firearms office will avoid the requirement of collecting and storing these firearms
00:03:25.860 in its own facilities pending compensation from the federal government so saskatchewan is pulling a bit of a saskatcheroon on the federal government
00:03:32.500 allowing law-abiding firearms owners to maintain possession of their firearms while the fight against mark carney's expensive and undoable gun grab continues and then this thursday a federal court will be deciding if it will hear a case brought by the canadian coalition for firearms rights
00:03:56.500 against against the legality of the gun grab against the legality of the gun grab it's nothing but huge news in the firearms community this week and so
00:04:06.980 i'm bringing on my friend my buddy my lover of charlie one horse cowboy hats just like me tracy wilson from the canadian coalition for firearms rights to break down these two issues plus a bunch more here's our interview take a listen
00:04:25.460 joining me now is good friend of the show my good friend and good friend to firearms owners everywhere tracy wilson of the canadian coalition for firearms rights and boy do we have a ton of things to talk about since i talked to you last
00:04:44.020 um first tracy the old saskatcheroon scott mo came out once again with an incredible plan
00:04:55.060 to insulate law abiding saskatcheroon firearms owners from potential criminality while also allowing them to keep their own firearms in their own homes tell us all about this
00:05:08.280 good morning sheila this is a crazy story actually and i've got to say it almost feels like some sort of uh really great competition between alberta and saskatchewan and i'm by great i mean it benefits gun owners in both provinces
00:05:22.060 but it's like a competition to see who can do the best job and saskatchewan definitely pulled ahead with this one i know
00:05:28.600 yeah they have made amendments to the saskatchewan firearms act that um protects uh gun owners first of all from criminality because as you know
00:05:38.200 there's this looming threat of the amnesty expiring um in october and if you're still
00:05:43.900 in possession of those affected firearms um then you'll be exposed to criminality um so these amendments
00:05:51.540 actually enable saskatchewan firearms owners to apply for an exemption certificate and be protected
00:05:58.680 against criminality and um this would um basically allow them to be storing their own firearms on behalf of
00:06:08.340 the saskatchewan government um while they seek out complete and fair payment um this is a process of
00:06:14.520 course that could take years and that's the point it's to keep the guns in your home for years and
00:06:19.860 years while maybe we try and work on other things a new government court action whatever um so scott mo
00:06:26.820 was very clear that this is meant to keep the guns in people's gun cabinets where they've been stored
00:06:32.460 safely this whole time um and he's at the same time pressuring the feds to pull back this ban entirely
00:06:39.400 uh so this was a really great move we got a little warning that it was coming and it was exciting
00:06:45.160 to sort of watch it unfold um but yeah i i think saskatchewan is definitely pulled ahead in the fight for uh
00:06:53.680 for gun owners with this one but um i think uh applying pressure to premieres especially uh alberta's
00:07:00.700 lovely danielle smith um is a great way to see if we can get some other provinces to adopt a similar
00:07:06.540 stance i i mean when i heard the announcement basically licensing firearms owners as agents of
00:07:13.280 the state to store their own firearms um i just thought man that is just a brilliant turn of events
00:07:19.660 and yes alberta this is me asking you to do something cheeky and creative similarly um to protect
00:07:27.420 firearms owners here although you know we said we're not going to participate in the firearms buyback
00:07:32.640 buyback whatsoever but also you know the the pressure from scott mo on the federal government
00:07:38.380 to actually fairly compensate people for the firearms if you are going to snatch them from
00:07:45.260 law-abiding firearms owners you can't give them pennies on the dollar which i thought was
00:07:49.540 something sort of missing in all of this um because people are not being fairly compensated
00:07:55.940 no in fact the government and uh public safety minister gary nanda sangri has been completely
00:08:01.940 clear that you are going to get ripped off so you know they've set the program up for failure anyways
00:08:07.860 and i think they know that they know people aren't going to uh participate and a lot of people have
00:08:13.700 had criticism even about saskatchewan's moves saying well you know it's still losing our guns and i'm
00:08:19.560 like no no you've got to be able to read between the lines of legislation and what it's doing is
00:08:26.620 enabling you to keep your guns in your home without facing criminality while you're seeking out
00:08:31.840 compensation we know that that's never going to happen i mean if the feds were going to actually
00:08:38.060 properly fully compensate people for everything and of course the saskatchewan stuff actually applies
00:08:43.940 to accessories and ammunition and goes well beyond what was originally even discussed um this would
00:08:50.520 of course cost probably tens of billions of dollars it's never going to happen but in the meantime while
00:08:56.800 we're having this you know this kind of epic battle between the provinces and and the feds and gun owners
00:09:04.460 and feds and police and feds um you have to be protected from going to prison right so yeah it's um
00:09:12.180 it's actually a totally brilliant plan and uh we had bob freeberg the saskatchewan firearms commissioner
00:09:19.860 on our show this week as well so you can check that out um and he had some stuff to talk about it in
00:09:25.440 other news he's actually retiring he announced his retirement this is a sad day actually for gun owners
00:09:31.320 but i do wish him well on his retirement and blaine beaven uh the i think the lawyer who worked on this
00:09:36.840 is going to be taking his place so oh so they'll be fine stealing great hands yeah uh yeah now i want
00:09:45.060 to just pivot a little bit before we come back to things that the ccfr is doing um the federal
00:09:52.260 conservatives are introducing stand your ground style legislation in the house of commons um because
00:10:00.500 for many people who are faced with the explosion of violent crime in this country under the liberals
00:10:08.160 many of these offenders are catch and release offenders our bail system is out of control um so
00:10:16.260 homeowners are left to defend themselves and in in that the process becomes the punishment
00:10:23.220 right the federal conservatives are trying to fix that and focus on the victim without the victim
00:10:30.520 being forced to assume the benevolence of the home invader oh he's just here to steal my tv and not take
00:10:35.680 my life and yet the liberals are not going to support this common sense measure yeah this is wild
00:10:42.380 actually and this has been a long time um in the works so i think pauliev had this in his platform
00:10:48.220 during the last election um it was well received at the cpc policy convention you and i were there
00:10:54.920 yeah um and what this does this is bill c 270 introduced by a rookie mp sandra cobina who we
00:11:02.440 should keep an eye on her yeah she's going to do big things um but basically what it would do it would
00:11:07.420 amend section 34 the criminal code and there's some things the liberals are saying that's true we do
00:11:13.460 already have the right to defend our life um against uh grievous bodily harm or death right we already
00:11:20.740 have that right and that is true however um this would instead of presuming that the that you are
00:11:29.560 guilty of an offense by defending your life you would presume to be justified in your actions the goal
00:11:35.740 here is actually to reduce the costly long-term legislative or legal battles that individuals would find
00:11:42.640 themselves caught up in should they defend their lives and it's actually it's actually sad that
00:11:48.840 we even need this it's sort of a an indictment of how um can the canadian public safety sphere has come
00:11:55.760 full circle right between bills like c5 and c75 that really soften the sentences for some very serious
00:12:03.060 violent crimes even committed with guns we've got repeat violent offenders you know in a revolving door
00:12:09.880 coming back out onto the street violent crimes up by 55 gun crimes up by 130 extortion is out of control
00:12:18.200 330 increase in extortion we have to do something to in order to protect the law-abiding citizens of this
00:12:26.940 country i think this is perfectly reasonable but would actually be unnecessary if we didn't have liberal
00:12:34.020 soft on crime policies so a conversation that was actually totally taboo 10 years ago now is completely
00:12:40.800 mainstream and you've got soccer moms in urban ottawa here looking for you know hey how do i get armed up and
00:12:49.460 be able to defend my life like it's it's just a kind of a sad indictment of where we are on public safety but
00:12:56.340 that's the way the liberals wanted it well and the statistics show it out that you know the the sort
00:13:02.980 of young soccer mom demographic that's the largest demographic of gun ownership in this country and
00:13:10.480 there's a good reason for that obviously it's the great equalizer yeah well you see there's comments
00:13:16.680 by sean fraser the justice minister and ruby sahoda you know where they're kind of scoffing at the idea
00:13:22.820 um how ridiculous it is that you know plebs like you and i would even consider defending our lives
00:13:28.840 and you have to remember these people are surrounded by other folks with guns right to protect them right
00:13:34.240 they're worthy of that we are not um and just how out of touch it is sure the majority of canadians
00:13:41.440 are probably never going to experience a violent armed home invasion however far more are than they
00:13:48.160 were back in 2015 right so something has changed and if we're not going to do anything about that
00:13:53.840 then unfortunately it's it's the liberals who have americanized the public safety conversation
00:14:00.100 sure in canada by just you know letting it be the wild west you know so yeah i i think it is
00:14:07.940 absolutely your most basic human right to be able to defend your life if somebody's trying to kill you
00:14:14.840 right yeah yeah that's not rocket science but the liberals don't seem to think so um i want to uh
00:14:22.140 talk to you about something that is causing me great anxiety and that is thursday's pending legal decision
00:14:31.040 for the ccfr in your latest battle now you guys have battles all over the place this is just one
00:14:38.600 battleground but you're fighting on all fronts be it public relations giving the public a
00:14:44.820 voice to speak truth to power through rallies but in the courts yeah we have a potential decision
00:14:51.820 on thursday tell us about it yeah you and i are both i have lost a lot of sleep over this already and
00:14:58.840 you know thursday seems like a million miles away at this point but we've been waiting since
00:15:03.460 june of 2025 to hear if the supreme court will hear our case and it works very differently in the
00:15:11.360 supreme court than it does in the lower courts like the federal court or the appeals court and we've
00:15:15.900 been through both of those we're the only ones still fighting this thing um so we applied for leave
00:15:21.860 to the supreme court now they're not obligated to hear you in fact they only hear about 10 percent
00:15:27.260 of cases brought before them and there's a couple of qualifiers there it's got to be within the national
00:15:33.360 interest and it's got to answer an important legal question well considering the amount of media
00:15:39.520 and interest and conversation and debate going on in this country with law enforcement agencies
00:15:46.000 speaking out and you know rallies across the country and just the whole debate over this gun grab
00:15:51.500 it's on you it's undeniable it is absolutely within the national interest and it does answer a very
00:15:58.060 important legal question can the government step into your home although you've done nothing wrong
00:16:04.100 you don't deserve it you've done nothing to warrant it come into your home and take your stuff without
00:16:09.400 compensation or put you in prison if you don't comply yeah i think aside from the topic of guns i think all
00:16:17.940 canadians should want to know the answer to that question so yeah thursday morning at 9 45 a.m ottawa time
00:16:24.880 they will be delivering there's a panel that has to decide if they take our case and they'll be delivering
00:16:31.760 the news or whether or not they're going to take it um yeah i i think this it would be ideal for them
00:16:39.060 to hear the case for the reasons i've already outlined but also it would give carney kind of an out to
00:16:45.960 save some face i know off ramp yeah yeah man because this is one of those divisive trudeau era policies
00:16:52.980 it was not his idea the public safety minister said right in that leaked audio that i leaked out earlier
00:16:59.360 last year um last year yep that if they were to do it over again they would do something totally
00:17:04.440 different they wouldn't do this gun grab it is an absolute embarrassment a mess a failure six years in
00:17:11.360 and they still don't have it figured out compliance is almost nil like this is a mess and but i know he's
00:17:19.260 under a lot of pressure from the quebec caucus and you know in particular the uh secretary of state for
00:17:25.060 nature um and and the anti-gun lobby you know they're all one in the same um but this would be
00:17:31.680 a great off ramp for him he could say look i tried and then the benefit to him if the court takes our
00:17:38.680 case and we win is he could use that for election fodder again down the road he could say re-elect us
00:17:45.180 you know we'll have to go the right way this time we'll have to do it through legislation
00:17:49.140 not through orders in council to make it stick so re-elect a liberal carny government and we'll do
00:17:56.200 it the right time this time so as horrible as that sounds that would of course kick that can
00:18:02.020 down the road for years and years and a win in the supreme court would mean the oics would be
00:18:07.960 deemed under you know illegal and they would be nullified and everything would go back to the way
00:18:14.920 it was before yeah i mean you're so right to point out that this is going on six years like if we were
00:18:22.040 the problem someone would know by now yes yeah i mean we've been storing our guns without incident
00:18:28.220 for six years so it's pretty obvious that this isn't an issue for us right right and we use them
00:18:33.020 for decades if not generations before that without issues so you know between having to be forced to pay
00:18:39.960 full compensation to every canadian affected which would be i don't know tens of billions of dollars
00:18:45.660 the social and public appetite for that it's not there nobody wants to spend money on this anymore
00:18:53.780 so it's hard to make the the pressing public safety case for something that you've kicked down
00:19:02.380 the road for six years like it's just it's real hard to make that case um yeah i want to talk to
00:19:09.500 you also about so an upcoming rally in halifax you had a very successful rally in quebec we sent out
00:19:19.700 our alexa lavoie um yeah i i love hearing from quebec gun owners because i need the reminder as
00:19:27.020 now burton that there is a strong healthy gun culture there and not everybody is a montreal crazy
00:19:33.980 person it's good for me to see those things and um you on the back of that you're planning one in
00:19:41.300 halifax tell us about it yeah that's right so i think the idea here is we're trying to target
00:19:47.000 jurisdictions i mean i know everybody wants to rally in their we do and i know and i would love to do that
00:19:52.840 too but we're we're starting off with you know we've been doing this since cape breton with the
00:19:57.180 pilot program and yeah we've been to new brunswick we've been to pei um and we're just keep going and
00:20:03.320 yeah quebec was amazing thousands of people showed up but halifax the city of halifax has already signed
00:20:09.200 a deal with the feds to help them with their gun grabs so that's why we're targeting that jurisdiction
00:20:14.640 so we're going to gather on friday april 10th between 4 and 7 p.m in the grand parade which is
00:20:20.820 basically a big square in front of city hall um and we're going to oppose that of course um we've
00:20:27.160 got a shadow minister for hunting fishing and conservation blaine culkins coming sci canada
00:20:32.720 has sort of partnered with us on this they've got an event on the saturdays and they've got all kinds
00:20:37.260 of people um descending upon halifax at that perfect time which is why we kind of planned it around that
00:20:43.420 so we need big numbers there to show that the people good people of halifax don't deserve what their
00:20:49.800 um municipal government is doing to them they don't deserve it at all nova scotia says they're
00:20:55.460 not participating yet halifax signed a deal so um i think it's incumbent on us to impress upon both
00:21:03.880 the halifax police service and halifax city council that this is not something that their people support
00:21:10.380 and of course eventually we'll have to get out to winnipeg as well because they've done just gonna say
00:21:14.580 i was just gonna say are you watching i was just sort of avoiding winnipeg in the middle of january
00:21:20.980 for sure i'm sure you know tropical i'd say minus 18 and uh you know a fresh foot of snow here but
00:21:29.680 yep yeah i mean it's not great here either but yeah it doesn't matter whatever we'll do all the
00:21:35.380 things all the time all the way so yeah and that's the thing you got to fight in every single
00:21:40.900 battleground um yeah because lots of people have lots of people have opinions about you know well
00:21:46.880 you guys should be doing this or don't bother doing that it might be a waste of time and our attitude is
00:21:51.900 i don't know man we're just gonna do all of it all the way yeah all the time yeah that's it and even if
00:21:58.720 it is to show the firearms owning community that there's a bunch of us because you know sometimes you
00:22:07.080 feel a little bit isolated because once you start talking about your guns the gun the government comes
00:22:11.880 to grab them and so yeah it's it's nice to have the moral support you know when i just talked about
00:22:19.320 it now great for me to see those quebec firearms owners yes out on the streets it's going to be great
00:22:24.920 for me to see thousands in halifax i'm gonna love seeing the numbers in winnipeg it's good and
00:22:32.940 and it also shows the local police force maybe we shouldn't be doing this yeah that's right maybe
00:22:40.520 instead of climbing into the pocket of the federal government for some scrap money you know maybe you
00:22:48.120 should be working for the constituents that you represent and that you serve in your community
00:22:52.860 so you know that's kind of been the message um and i i honestly i've heard some conversation out of
00:22:59.680 winnipeg that they signed early they were the first ones to sign up and i i think they misunderstood
00:23:04.880 the environment and i think they just thought all municipalities are going to sign up this is just
00:23:10.000 what's happening you know let's get ours not realizing that wait a minute you actually had a choice
00:23:15.280 um so i think there's some buyer's remorse over there um and that's okay maybe they just need a
00:23:20.860 little bit of pressure to uh do whatever they have to do to get out of that deal and reject this gun grab
00:23:26.880 and support their citizens you know one of the good things about alberta one of the many good
00:23:32.620 things about alberta is that our municipalities can't sign deals with the federal government behind
00:23:37.240 the promises back and so we won't have this problem here um but uh it it is good for you to give a voice
00:23:46.740 to the residents of these communities um who are doing these deals with the federal government that
00:23:52.440 yeah it's being done without their consent yeah well and that's exactly it there you know
00:23:58.260 there was no vote amongst the community to see if they wanted this um and it's just a decision made by
00:24:04.800 a bunch of suits in a room with no consideration of how it impacts the very people who are your
00:24:10.580 neighbors and pay the taxes that pay your salaries so yeah i think uh it's a great opportunity for
00:24:16.980 people to speak their mind and uh make it heard you know you don't have to just sit back while
00:24:22.400 people are doing bad things to you now it's bowden sportsman show it's the most wonderful time of the
00:24:29.460 year and uh ccfr you guys are at so many of them huge presence uh tell us about the upcoming one
00:24:37.560 yeah toronto sportsman show is coming up uh this it starts this thursday march 19th and runs through
00:24:44.780 sunday march 22nd at the international center in mississauga and i always find it interesting
00:24:50.380 that the largest outdoor lifestyle show is in toronto yeah yeah i don't know it's kind of weird
00:24:58.840 but it is so uh yeah we were we're gonna be there the ccfr is the this okay this show is huge it's like
00:25:06.600 five halls long you know you've got a boat hall you've got a hall full of atvs and camping stuff
00:25:13.820 you know a fishing hall and then you've got the hunting hall and that's where all the gun folks
00:25:17.580 are and all the organizations and the outfitters and all kinds of great stuff gadgets and gear and
00:25:23.420 i love that stuff me too i spend so much money um it's like me a rodeo a rodeo trade show take my money
00:25:31.260 i know it's just it's so fun it's all my favorite things under one roof i know um but the ccfr sponsors
00:25:37.960 that whole hunting hall so oh wow shout out to all the exhibitors who uh who are also going to be
00:25:42.980 there it's great and then we're the bag sponsor as well so when you arrive and you come through the
00:25:48.240 door security guards will be handing you ccfr bags because of course you get all kinds of little
00:25:53.180 literature and goodies as you go along the aisles stickers and lanyards and people are handing out
00:25:58.220 all kinds of stuff so everybody loves swag so you'll need to learn to put it all and then we've also got
00:26:04.040 the ccfr laser range uh powered by strike men so this is this is a lot of fun and everybody loves it so
00:26:11.200 it's like going to the gun range but you know you can do it inside at these major events kids love it
00:26:18.020 um we get the cops lined up to shoot against the kids and it's just so great yeah it yeah it's really
00:26:25.380 fun and it even makes the sound like you hear the sound of the gun firing and the the casings hitting
00:26:31.840 the floor like it's all imaginary but it just makes it feel real and you start hearing that gunfire and
00:26:38.060 everything from across the hall and running to see what's going on but there'll be prizes going on
00:26:43.020 there we've also partnered with sci canada they do a great kids passport and it's it's a little card
00:26:49.920 and it's got a whole bunch of different booths and exhibitors on it and it's like a scavenger hunt
00:26:54.380 the kids have to go around and get stamps at all these different places and there's something to do
00:26:59.580 there so they can catch a fish in the fish pond then go shoot at the laser range like you know and so
00:27:05.140 on and so once they get their card all stamped they put their information on the back and it goes
00:27:10.280 into a draw and there's prizes at scis giving like packages where it's like my first hunt my first
00:27:17.120 fishing trip my first camping trip and they get the trip and all the gear and stuff they'll need
00:27:22.180 like it's so fun so i personally go crazy for stuff like that so we've donated a whole bunch of cookware
00:27:29.560 and stuff for the kids to go on their first camping trip um but aside from that we're gonna have the
00:27:35.560 calendar girls they're always really popular especially i imagine so yeah yes and we've got
00:27:41.420 tons of swag merchandise memberships rods flying in from bc so the whole crew will be there and yeah
00:27:48.220 it's just a great time to kind of put the politics away yeah and just really celebrate the outdoor sports
00:27:55.340 yeah remember why you love it yes exactly yes uh tracy uh it's been too long since you've been on the
00:28:04.000 show and uh that's a me problem not a you problem um tell us how people can get involved in the
00:28:11.660 important work that the ccfr does because fighting with the government uh requires a substantial war chest
00:28:18.620 the government has all of your money to fight you um and organize organizations like yours are just
00:28:24.860 grassroots doing like quite literally as you say everything you can to fight back so how do people
00:28:31.140 help yeah i mean we don't take any government funding for obvious reasons right um i wouldn't
00:28:36.440 take their money even if they offered it but you can help us out by being a member it's the very best way
00:28:41.500 to help us out you can go to ccfr.ca become a member but you'll notice when you go to the website this
00:28:48.200 window will pop up and it's got our contest on there it's raining guns so we're have this crazy
00:28:54.800 contest we're literally giving away 100 guns nice when rod told me the idea for this project i was
00:29:01.900 like are you crazy and then immediately fell in love with the idea so yeah it's uh it's raining guns
00:29:08.820 over here at the ccfr so yeah every 20 bucks gets you an entry we these guns got to go to somebody
00:29:15.000 why not you so that's uh another great way to help us out we spent upwards of i don't know we're well
00:29:21.480 over three million dollars fighting in court um for your guns so and um hopefully we'll find out
00:29:29.080 thursday hopefully we're going to spend a whole bunch more at the supreme court so yeah we need all
00:29:34.500 the help we can get and of course you can follow our podcast everywhere you watch your regular podcast
00:29:39.100 ccfr radio and uh if you've got cable tv we're on wild tv and the show is ccfr radio on the air
00:29:46.540 tracy thank you so much for taking the time today and thank you so much for just the
00:29:51.420 hard work that you do on behalf of families just like mine because i know it affects your family too
00:29:58.440 and this is a deeply personal issue for all of us so many of us in the canadian firearms rights
00:30:05.060 community so just thank you for everything you do for us well we'll keep at it we promise you we do
00:30:10.780 everything we can and we meant it well as always the last portion of the show belongs to you our
00:30:22.220 beloved viewers because without you there is no rebel news so if you want to leave me viewer feedback
00:30:27.180 send it right to my personal email inbox sheila at rebelnews.com put gun show letters in the subject line
00:30:33.740 so i know why you're emailing me and who knows you might just see your email read on air there's
00:30:40.500 another way you can get in touch with me and if you love the show and you want it to grow encourage
00:30:46.340 your friends when you share clips of the show with them the clips that you might find on youtube or on
00:30:53.620 rumble encourage them to leave comments because i go over there looking for viewer feedback too and
00:30:58.520 if you share those clips who knows we might just convert those one-time or two-time viewers into
00:31:04.740 behind the paywall subscribers and that helps rebel news fight on another day so this viewer feedback
00:31:12.960 this set of viewer feedback comes on my video
00:31:16.900 is that i don't know calling on lori idlout the formerly ndp mp from nunavut to resign
00:31:30.560 and go to a by-election after crossing the floor to the liberal party of canada the people of nunavut
00:31:38.760 elected an ndp mp for better or for worse i mean i wouldn't do it but it's their decision and they
00:31:48.720 just lost their vote because lori idlout
00:31:53.340 uh was engaged in some backroom dealing obviously
00:31:58.480 and uh decided to cross the floor to the carny liberals something she denied she was going to do
00:32:06.280 in a bit of a matt jenneroo move just two short months ago what changed well a bunch of funding
00:32:13.080 announcements for nunavut and um you know in the background lori idlout was also a federal
00:32:22.760 contractor which actually makes her the perfect liberal if you remember um randy boissoneau
00:32:32.560 liberal mp from edmonton no longer but he did the same thing with his pandemic era ppe company
00:32:39.580 so i mean maybe she is a liberal who knew anyway um let's go to the viewer comments kevin armstrong
00:32:50.100 751 says it is an unholy alliance switching parties in the middle of the year between elections is
00:32:57.240 fraudulent and criminal at the very least it's unethical and and it should trigger an instant
00:33:01.880 by-election like if you think your constituents agree with this why don't you ask them there's a
00:33:10.360 reason they aren't i don't know how this is tolerated or even legal it's defrauding the voters
00:33:15.140 i mean it's legal but it is definitely unethical especially
00:33:21.620 if there's no one issue that they can point to for example if it was an issue of a matter of
00:33:28.300 conscience so let's say and this is a wild hypothetical because i know there there aren't
00:33:34.840 really pro-life liberals left but if there was a piece of legislation being advanced that
00:33:47.120 was okay with post-birth abortion by the liberals i.e infanticide
00:33:54.880 and so i could understand if that piece of legislation was announced and a liberal said
00:34:02.880 whoa that's a bridge too far i'm not on team infanticide i'm going to cross the floor join the
00:34:09.920 conservatives okay okay i get it i still don't like that they didn't run a by-election
00:34:14.720 but this didn't happen on an issue same with matt generu there was no issue he said it was the
00:34:22.360 world economic forum speech that really moved me moved you to what what was in that speech like
00:34:29.120 could you point to the one thing that there's no issue here they just crossed the floor to give
00:34:36.340 mark carney a majority s noble v6j says this is not a democracy well it isn't when your vote doesn't
00:34:47.700 count and your vote belongs to you it doesn't belong to the mp the riding belongs to you it doesn't
00:34:54.000 actually belong to the mp you just let them sit there
00:34:56.980 mar chadwick says el bozos must be so proud of this country sliding into a communist country
00:35:07.040 um i mean
00:35:10.680 where's the lie rob w4e4w says forced liberalism that's exactly what this is right they just force
00:35:24.400 liberalism on the voters of nunavut the same way mark generu forced it on the voters of edmonton
00:35:32.320 riverbend they didn't vote liberal but they got liberal anyway
00:35:36.280 legend 1958 says greed the best motivator
00:35:43.280 e parker 1987 says she got 1 billion for a territory that has maybe 50 000 people that is very true
00:35:54.380 once mark carney started romancing her
00:35:58.060 they just dumped money into her riding including an outrageous amount for housing
00:36:07.120 or at least they sort of re-announced a housing amount
00:36:10.360 i mean you could house hundreds of thousands of people for the amount of money they're dumping in
00:36:17.940 that riding for housing so where's the money going
00:36:19.840 federal contractors would take a little piece for themselves or a big piece for themselves along
00:36:26.740 the way before the help actually gets to the people naturally
00:36:30.160 d smbr03 says people shouldn't be afraid of their governments governments should be afraid of the people
00:36:40.420 from v the movie v for vendetta i think yeah yeah um but instead in canada we live in constant fear of
00:36:49.760 our government stripping us from our rights imprisoning us and uh making us destitute by
00:36:54.140 locking us out of our bank accounts and then no matter how we vote we still end up with the liberal
00:36:58.320 government ask me why alberta wants to separate from this godforsaken mess all right that's the show
00:37:07.240 for today guys thank you so much for tuning in i'll see everybody back here in the same time in the
00:37:10.800 same place next week and as always don't let the government tell you that you've had too much to
00:37:14.620 think
