00:04:44.460 Wow. Now, I debunked Patrick's biggest lies in a commentary that aired yesterday.

00:04:50.760 But this needs updating, you see, because even in the past 24 hours,

00:04:56.220 Brown has further lied to other media sources.

00:05:01.900 So, let me recap some of the original whoppers.

00:05:05.520 The first lie, as you saw with our brief conversation,

00:05:09.060 Brown said he was there to check out the rec center, not to play hockey.

00:05:13.200 And that was a quick inspection, though.

00:05:16.040 He was there for, what, four minutes, tops?

00:05:19.000 And hey, if he was there to inspect the joint,

00:05:21.760 why did he have a lackey bring his hockey bag and sticks?

00:05:26.200 You saw it.

00:05:27.420 The orange Wayne Gretzky hockey bag with the affixed label noting it belonged to

00:05:31.900 number 00, Patrick Brown.

00:05:34.720 Oh, and by the way, did you notice that Brown and his associates were maskless,

00:05:40.580 contrary to a Brampton bylaw that has been in existence for more than a month?

00:05:46.080 Indeed, on July 8, 2020, Mayor Brown himself signed the city's mask bylaw,

00:05:52.440 mandating non-medical masks or face coverings in all indoor public spaces in the city of Brampton.

00:05:58.760 And I don't see any exemption in that bylaw that gives special privileges to Mayor Brown

00:06:04.640 and or his hockey-playing buddies.

00:06:07.980 But folks, the line jumped into warp speed after the video premiered on Saturday afternoon.

00:06:14.560 Here, check out his first tweet.

00:06:16.860 Wow, he falsely accuses that my cameraman and I were pretending to be with Leafs TV,

00:06:27.080 which is actually called Leafs Nation Network, by the way.

00:06:30.440 But you saw me on the video identifying myself and my organization.

00:06:35.460 You saw me holding a mic with the Rebel News Flash on it.

00:06:39.100 And really, what would possess Brown to believe that Leafs Nation Network

00:06:45.000 would want to interview a beer league hockey player slash political loser to begin with?

00:06:51.000 Sorry, Patty, you're just not Leafs TV material, and you never will be.

00:06:58.060 Another lie, the chronology.

00:07:00.940 Look at this statement by Brown published in the Brampton Guardian.

00:07:04.300 He says he got to the rink at 5.50 and the ice was only booked until 6.

00:07:12.220 He's implying he was too late to change into his gear and play.

00:07:17.540 Let's just refer to a screenshot from the video, shall we?

00:07:21.160 There you go, sports fans.

00:07:22.380 He's there at 5.25, so Patty had plenty of time to play.

00:07:27.520 And by the way, those players, well, they were on the ice after 6 p.m.

00:07:31.940 I know that because I was there after 6 p.m.,

00:07:36.180 whereas Patrick had long since fled into a Mercedes that definitely needs a tune-up.

00:07:42.540 Oh, and by the way, Patty, when you bring the Benz into the shop,

00:07:46.240 please have the tech remove the polarized covering over the license plate.

00:07:51.100 You see, such a plate-obscuring covering is illegal in Ontario under the Highway Traffic Act.

00:07:59.460 Surely it's not there to get free rides on the 407 electronic toll highway that runs through Brampton, is it?

00:08:10.700 In the Brampton Guardian article, the Director of Bylaw Enforcement, Paul Morrison,

00:08:15.420 states that Patrick Brown didn't do anything wrong in terms of his conduct.

00:08:20.120 You see, as of August 9, 2020, the City of Brampton's facility rental website stated,

00:08:25.620 Arenas are open for use by affiliate slash major user groups for figure skating and ice hockey training and modified gameplay.

00:08:34.500 But wait a minute.

00:08:35.360 This website copy was actually modified after our Patrick Brown video aired regarding the mayor's apparent noncompliance.

00:08:44.900 Indeed, that line about arenas are open for use for figure skating and ice hockey training modified gameplay.

00:08:53.980 Well, that's an addendum to what the existing bylaw had stated.

00:08:58.780 And yes, that modification only appeared after we caught Brown red-handed.

00:09:03.660 Oh, and by the way, you'd think that bright orange Wayne Gretzky hockey bag with Patrick's name and number affixed to it

00:09:11.080 would be the smoking gun piece of evidence that his warship was indeed there to play that day.

00:09:17.820 Not so fast, hockey fans.

00:09:20.200 Sneaky Paddy had an answer to that in the website The Pointer.

00:09:24.640 He told a reporter that it must have been a bag being used by one of his friends who he had given it to as he receives a bunch of them.

00:09:36.780 But as the story notes, it's unclear why the bag had his ID on it and why all the equipment was still in the bag

00:09:45.600 and not adorning the friend Brown supposedly gave this bag to.

00:09:52.020 Then, yesterday morning, Brown gave an exclusive interview to the uber-leftist Toronto radio station News Talk 1010.

00:10:00.060 Let's have a listen for what was surely a hard-hitting interview.

00:10:04.120 Patrick Brown, mayor of Brampton, was in an arena when he was approached by a guy on camera.

00:10:10.700 His name is David Menzies. I don't think he writes for The Sun anymore. He used to.

00:10:15.080 Every year, an annual column about how on Earth Day he was going to run a Hummer with the air conditioning on.

00:10:20.360 Um, John Moore's a nice guy, folks, but I don't agree with him on virtually anything.

00:10:25.000 And while John is entitled to his opinions, he's not entitled to his own facts.

00:10:30.120 I've never written a column about running my Hummer with the AC on during Earth Day.

00:10:35.800 First of all, Earth Day is in April and you likely need the heat running in April, not the AC.

00:10:44.160 I think John is talking about me displaying Hollywood premiere-style lights during Earth Hour for 60 Minutes, which occurs in March.

00:11:07.860 No, first of all, the city of Brampton, like any city that was entered into Stage 2, has been renting ice since June 24th.

00:11:17.340 And under Stage 3, it's actually full gameplay is allowed across the province.

00:11:23.980 So I guess this media entity, and I don't even want to call them a media entity given their history, was not aware that Ontario is in Stage 3.

00:11:36.120 You know, I wasn't able to play that day, but I do play hockey once a week.

00:11:39.560 I'm going to get out and play with my buddies this week.

00:11:43.360 But, you know, I think this group likes to stir the pot.

00:11:47.080 Facts don't matter.

00:11:48.900 They want to try to create a controversial video.

00:11:52.920 And unfortunately, there are some out there that follow this group.

00:11:58.440 And I can tell you, I've had a run-in with them for a long time.

00:12:02.140 For the last four years, I haven't done any interviews with them.

00:12:05.740 Whether it was their support for the KKK rallies in the U.S., where they called them Patriots.

00:12:11.900 Whether, you know, they challenged me when I supported Canada's, or Ontario's updated sex education.

00:12:18.360 So Brown admits to playing hockey weekly, but not that day, even though his gear and equipment was there.

00:12:25.380 Oh yeah, I forgot.

00:12:26.440 He just dropped by the rink to inspect the Zamboni that day or something.

00:12:30.620 And then there's those ad hominem attacks, like our support for KKK rallies.

00:12:37.600 Gee, I really hope one of our newest Rebel staffers, Drea Humphrey, doesn't find out that we wear those white pointy hoods when we're not on the air. 0.51

00:12:46.340 I mean, we'd hate to lose a talent like Drea, but wait, there's more.

00:12:51.000 To the video in the encounter, though, should you have been wearing a mask?

00:12:53.900 Did they catch you not, you know, breaking the mask rule?

00:12:57.220 So a normal media organization would check with bylaw to see whether that was included in our bylaw.

00:13:04.500 The Brampton Guardian called the Brampton Bylaw Department, and they said for private rentals, you don't have to wear a mask.

00:13:13.140 Like all indoor public settings, you have to wear a mask.

00:13:15.840 So when I'm in the indoor public setting, I always wear a mask.

00:13:19.140 But in private rentals, you're not required to.

00:13:22.120 And so this organization didn't check with our mask bylaw.

00:13:26.560 Yeah, so the Brampton Guardian, they know how to do journalism.

00:13:29.920 But we did reach out to Brampton Bylaw via our lawyer, someone who archived the bylaws before and after our encounter with Brown.

00:13:40.260 As I previously mentioned, the bylaw website was changed after the video aired to make Brown's former illicit activity completely kosher.

00:13:50.900 Wonder why the Guardian didn't report that.

00:13:53.640 Yet, in the final analysis, why do we care so much about Patrick Brown, the mayor of Brampton?

00:14:00.300 Well, it's because he was actually the odds-on favorite to become the premier of Ontario back in 2018,

00:14:08.520 had he not hoisted himself on his own petard of entitlement.

00:14:13.560 Ah, poor Patty. 1.00

00:14:14.480 In January 2018, this egomaniac was just counting down the days to the June election,

00:14:20.920 given that the Kathleen Wynne Liberals were deader than disco.

00:14:25.260 No wonder he got so cocky.

00:14:27.180 No wonder he became so full of entitlement.

00:14:31.080 But he counted the chickens before they had hatched.

00:14:33.660 For it was clear that some six months before Election Day,

00:14:37.020 Brown had already worn out his welcome, even before spending a single day in office.

00:14:43.160 Well, Patrick Brown had thrown social conservatives under the bus

00:14:47.340 when he infamously flip-flopped on the Liberals' controversial sex ed curriculum.

00:14:53.100 And then he followed up that bag-stabbing feat by throwing fiscal conservatives under the bus

00:14:59.320 when he inexplicably announced that he would approve a carbon tax for Ontario.

00:15:04.860 Yeah, a carbon tax that he had campaigned against while still a candidate for leader.

00:15:10.140 Then there was his behaviour at local riding nomination meetings where allegations of fraud abounded,

00:15:16.320 in which it was said that ballot boxes were being stuffed to ensure PC Party insiders and friends got elected,

00:15:25.020 as opposed to the candidate of choice favoured by the grassroots.

00:15:29.200 Rumours abounded that those who were going to vote PC in 2018 were simply going to stay home on Election Day or simply decline their ballots.

00:15:39.260 Indeed, when there was no more conservatives to throw under the bus,

00:15:44.300 well, the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, they threw Patrick under the bus.

00:15:48.700 The PC Brain Trust came to the just-in-time realization that they were so many Dr. Frankensteins

00:15:55.940 and Patrick Brown was their two-faced monster, a creature that was far more P for progressive than C for conservative.

00:16:05.480 Internal polling indicated doom that this latest great white hope for the PC Party 1.00

00:16:11.500 was going to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, just like John Tory did in 2007,

00:16:18.460 just like Tim Hudak did in 2011, just like Tim Hudak 2.0 did in 2014.

00:16:25.480 And so it was in January 2018, within mere hours of allegations surfacing,

00:16:30.700 that Brown was taking part in inappropriate behaviour with young women,

00:16:34.720 that the perfect opportunity arose to gasp, Patrick, his staff entirely deserted him.

00:16:43.880 Less than 24 hours later, Brown was already yesterday's man,

00:16:48.280 waving the white flag of political surrender.

00:16:51.480 Teary-eyed, he took to a podium at Queen's Park on that frigid January night

00:16:56.600 to deliver one of the most bizarre press conferences in Canadian political history

00:17:02.160 before taking part in his Game of Thrones Circe-like walk of shame

00:17:07.720 down the back staircase of the legislature and into a salt-stained minivan.
