00:00:00.000 The city of Aurora, Colorado has reportedly been taken over by a violent Venezuelan gang
00:00:07.500 of illegal aliens.
00:00:09.600 We've got all the details on that and the policies that led to this kind of chaos.
00:00:15.280 But good things are happening too.
00:00:17.120 At Ohio State University, there have been reports of a revival with over 60 students
00:00:23.680 being baptized and many other Christian students worshiping and sharing their testimony.
00:00:28.780 So we've got some crazy news and some good news.
00:00:31.420 On today's episode of Relatable, it's brought to you by our friends at Good Ranchers.
00:00:34.540 Go to GoodRanchers.com.
00:00:35.840 Use code Allie at checkout.
00:00:37.020 That's GoodRanchers.com, code Allie.
00:00:48.340 Hey guys, welcome to Relatable.
00:00:50.500 Happy Wednesday.
00:00:51.640 Hope everyone has had a wonderful week so far.
00:00:54.580 A lot of you have been messaging me, asking me to debunk some of the misinformation you've
00:01:00.620 been seeing about Trump and Gold Star families and the Arlington Cemetery, everything that
00:01:04.760 happened over the weekend.
00:01:06.340 I covered that on yesterday's episode.
00:01:08.280 So if you're seeing some posts from your liberal friends about that saying, see, this is why
00:01:12.240 Trump is so terrible.
00:01:13.980 Go back, watch yesterday's episode to get the real deal on all of that.
00:01:18.440 We also talked about some of the flip-flopping that Kamala Harris has done, particularly on
00:01:25.560 immigration.
00:01:26.520 And we are going to talk about that a little bit more today as we discuss what is going
00:01:30.860 on in Aurora, Colorado.
00:01:32.880 It's absolutely insane that something like that is happening in the United States of America,
00:01:38.940 a supposedly sovereign country that cares about our citizens, or so we hear from our elected
00:01:46.720 officials, but it seems like the policies that they implement really belie their promises
00:01:52.880 to us.
00:01:53.640 But first, I want to talk about some good news.
00:01:56.200 We need some good news.
00:01:57.720 We need the reminder that God's eternal plan of redemption is always going off without a
00:02:03.800 hitch.
00:02:04.120 That's something that we say all the time on this show.
00:02:07.500 We actually have some merchandise coming out this fall with that phrase because you guys
00:02:12.440 have been asking me to put that on something you can wear.
00:02:16.780 So we've got it coming for you.
00:02:18.900 Also, the reminder that in the end, Jesus' victory is sure.
00:02:23.320 No matter what happens in this or any other election, there is one day that Jesus is coming
00:02:29.220 back.
00:02:29.680 He is going to rule in perfect peace.
00:02:31.760 There will be no more politics.
00:02:33.220 There will be no more partisanship.
00:02:35.320 There will be no more division.
00:02:37.340 No more disagreements.
00:02:38.840 We will all live in perfect truth and joy in light of our Savior's sovereign and complete
00:02:48.200 and total rule.
00:02:49.700 And that's going to be a really good day with no more sickness, no more sorrow.
00:02:55.000 But right now, God's eternal plan of redemption is still working out, and it is working itself
00:03:01.740 out in the gathering of His sheep.
00:03:04.880 He will never fail to save the people that He has set out to save.
00:03:11.540 And we see that going on right now, even on college campuses.
00:03:15.100 Most of the time when we're talking about universities, it's really bad news.
00:03:18.320 We're talking about the communist takeover.
00:03:20.720 We're talking about anti-American and pro-Hamas, protesters.
00:03:25.800 We're talking about conservatives getting kicked off campus and all of that.
00:03:29.540 But sometimes we have these really awesome stories about God doing amazing work through
00:03:35.360 the lives of young people, and that seems to be going on right now at Ohio State University.
00:03:41.900 So it's being billed as a revival event at Ohio State, and it is the gathering of thousands
00:03:51.040 of students, estimated 1,000 to 2,000 students coming together, worshiping, sharing testimonies,
00:03:58.200 and also young people getting baptized.
00:04:01.820 So this happened on Sunday, August 25th.
00:04:04.860 There were several Buckeye football players sharing their testimonies in front of all of
00:04:10.440 the thousands of participants.
00:04:12.440 Dozens of students, as I said, were baptized after these testimonies were shared.
00:04:17.680 While the Buckeyes are currently ranked number two in the nation by ESPN, they're trying to
00:04:23.240 put the spotlight on Christ.
00:04:26.120 So there's a summary of this that has gone viral on TikTok, and it does a good job of
00:04:31.920 explaining what went down.
00:04:33.900 Here's top three.
00:04:34.860 A free event put on by some of the Buckeyes' biggest stars collected thousands from the
00:04:39.580 Ohio State community and grew even more throughout the night.
00:04:42.640 It was all about sharing their faith in Jesus, which started with everybody coming together
00:04:46.660 to worship, and the energy was amazing.
00:04:48.800 Each of the players went up to share their stories of how their relationship with Jesus
00:04:52.800 has changed their lives and how much God loves each and every person in the crowd.
00:04:57.120 Courageous attendees took a leap of faith to come up front and pray a prayer to accept Jesus
00:05:02.360 as their Lord and Savior.
00:05:04.680 So this was organized by several campus Christian student groups at Ohio State.
00:05:11.080 Also, local churches collaborated with them.
00:05:14.420 And then, of course, they worked with these football players who helped lead worship and
00:05:20.860 share their faith.
00:05:22.440 About 60 students, 60 attendees, were baptized that evening, according to the OSU student newspaper.
00:05:32.360 Speakers included a receiver from the Buckeyes, a running back, a defensive end.
00:05:39.300 And here is a quote from one of the speakers.
00:05:41.780 His name is Emeka Ekbuka.
00:05:44.040 He said, the world didn't give me this joy.
00:05:46.260 The world can't take it away.
00:05:48.280 I had this new feeling in my heart that the Holy Spirit implanted into me.
00:05:51.980 And so since then, it was really a radical change for me.
00:05:55.480 I started walking more obediently with God.
00:05:57.500 I started seeking Him day after day.
00:05:59.520 He's worked on me, and I've had this grace of people in my life to get to this point.
00:06:05.020 And then we've got running back Treveon Henderson giving his testimony.
00:06:09.960 Here's top five.
00:06:11.780 God, if Jesus changed my life, set me free from my sin, made me holy, made me righteous,
00:06:17.140 I'm only righteous because of what the Lord has done for me.
00:06:19.720 And if it wasn't anything I did, it was Jesus.
00:06:23.440 It was Jesus.
00:06:24.820 And He wants to do the same for you.
00:06:27.040 Yes and amen.
00:06:29.560 Yes and amen.
00:06:30.280 I love that, that he said he's only righteous because of what Jesus has done for him.
00:06:36.120 And then here is another speaker.
00:06:38.400 His name is Cameron Babs, hot six.
00:06:41.540 That's amazing.
00:06:42.320 That's amazing.
00:06:42.960 That's a testimony from God.
00:06:44.100 And I'm here to tell you, for all of you that are here, whether you know Jesus or not,
00:06:48.720 there's more.
00:06:50.400 There's more for you.
00:06:52.420 Don't let this just be a night where you come here, some football players, and then you leave.
00:06:58.000 Eternity is on the line.
00:07:00.000 That's amazing.
00:07:02.280 How many pastors do you know speaking that clearly from the pulpit?
00:07:06.460 Yes, there are a lot of them, but a lot of them are too scared to say something like eternity is on the line,
00:07:11.860 like your eternal destination is on the line.
00:07:14.760 Every single person, I think we all need to be reminded of this,
00:07:17.920 every single person that you see will either be one day in hell or in heaven.
00:07:24.080 And C.S. Lewis has a quote, and I'm going to butcher it if I even try to paraphrase it
00:07:27.920 because I don't remember the exact words, but he said,
00:07:31.060 everyone that you encounter will either one day be a glorious creature that is too illuminated
00:07:37.840 to even behold because of how bright and beautiful that person is because of the new body that
00:07:48.020 they've taken on in eternity or will be a creature so grotesque and so hellish that you won't be able
00:07:54.740 to behold them either for the opposite reason.
00:07:57.480 So when we think about the fact that we are always interacting with eternal souls when we realize
00:08:03.900 what he said is true, that eternity is on the line, it should really impact the urgency that
00:08:09.980 we have to share the gospel, and also it should really influence how we treat people.
00:08:16.840 There is no interaction that is a throwaway interaction.
00:08:21.240 Nothing has to be superficial in the life of the believer.
00:08:25.300 Everything is meaningful.
00:08:27.300 Every moment that we have is the opportunity to plant a seed.
00:08:31.160 And of course, that's the Holy Spirit working through us.
00:08:33.440 We don't take credit for that, but that is the incredible purpose that we have through Christ,
00:08:39.140 that we are vessels of the best news ever that can change someone's eternal destination
00:08:44.860 because of God's power.
00:08:46.880 So I love what I'm seeing here.
00:08:49.560 This reminds me a lot of what happened at Asbury University, and we covered that at the time.
00:08:54.020 I think that was a couple years ago now.
00:08:56.780 And just like with any kind of mass event, there is the potential of co-opting.
00:09:02.880 And so last time we saw a bunch of NAR people showing up at Asbury saying,
00:09:08.560 yeah, you know, this is our moment.
00:09:11.000 This is our event.
00:09:12.160 And trying to kind of lead students in their direction, which of course I don't like
00:09:16.440 because I very strongly disagree with NAR theology.
00:09:20.720 And so there's always the potential when you have a bunch of young people that are in a
00:09:26.920 vulnerable moment for there to be kind of bad actors to come in and try to co-opt a movement.
00:09:32.460 But I don't think that that is a reason to be critical.
00:09:36.660 I don't think that's a reason to curtail our excitement.
00:09:39.720 I don't know all of the organizations and all of the churches and all of the individuals
00:09:44.200 that were a part of this event.
00:09:45.780 I think what we can do, whether or not we know, whether, you know, we align with every
00:09:51.060 bit of theology that's being preached at an event like this, we can praise God that it
00:09:55.440 seems like true worship is happening.
00:09:57.500 We can praise God for testimonies of faith.
00:10:00.300 We can praise God for baptisms.
00:10:02.520 And what we can also pray is that any truth that was taught, any truth that was preached
00:10:08.420 seeps into the hearts of the people there.
00:10:10.960 And the seeds that were planted in those hearts that day, they may not grow, sprout, flower
00:10:20.380 for another 50 years.
00:10:22.760 That's God's timeline.
00:10:24.600 That could have been one spot, one place on that person's long journey towards the Lord.
00:10:34.020 And that's another reason why we can't ever take the interactions we have with other people
00:10:37.800 for granted because you just never know how God is using that moment in their testimony,
00:10:44.280 which again, may not even come to fruition for several years.
00:10:48.160 So let's pray for that.
00:10:49.520 Let's pray for fruit, for the Holy Spirit to do work there and for not only souls to be saved,
00:10:59.640 but for that to have a reverberating impact, for lives to be changed.
00:11:03.880 I think we can all be excited about that.
00:11:07.920 They did kind of give this call to action at the end of this to say like, okay, this
00:11:15.400 is not just an event that you came to so you could see what was going on.
00:11:21.100 Like we actually have to apply what we've talked about tonight.
00:11:24.120 So here's top four.
00:11:26.560 Whether you're here for some football players or not, I just encourage you to step out in
00:11:30.700 faith, whatever you're going through in your life, whatever you've been through, I'm telling
00:11:34.440 you there's a God that desires you.
00:11:37.120 And so as we get into this worship, as we get into everything, I pray, we pray that you
00:11:43.280 would see him as he sees you.
00:11:47.260 So as we get into this night, let's give him the glory and let's have some fun tonight.
00:11:51.980 Let's have some fun tonight.
00:11:52.880 All right.
00:11:53.560 I need one more Jesus on three.
00:11:55.340 Ready?
00:11:56.020 Three, two, one.
00:11:57.680 Jesus!
00:11:58.060 So that was actually at the beginning of the event.
00:12:02.340 I think I said it was at the end of the event, but same purpose there to call people into
00:12:06.500 action.
00:12:06.860 And then let's look at some of those baptisms that occurred.
00:12:10.000 I think we have a picture of that.
00:12:11.720 Oh, that's so beautiful.
00:12:13.240 That just makes me so emotional.
00:12:15.020 It always makes me so emotional to see people baptized.
00:12:18.560 Oh, that's just, that's amazing.
00:12:20.740 So continue to pray for those students.
00:12:22.380 I've actually seen lots of stories of groups like this, of different college campuses, having
00:12:28.760 these kinds of gatherings and people giving their lives to the Lord and being baptized.
00:12:32.240 And so pray for truth to take root and for there to be real fruit.
00:12:37.500 When we're talking about something like revival, the definition of a revival is actually stirring
00:12:43.200 up the hearts and the affections and the enthusiasm of people who are already born again.
00:12:49.520 When you think about that word revival, you are reviving people who have already been made
00:12:55.560 alive in Christ and just calling them to urgency.
00:12:58.140 But when we're looking at something like this, where people are either being revived, they're
00:13:03.640 being reinvigorated in the Lord, or they are giving their lives to the Lord for the first
00:13:09.360 time.
00:13:10.220 They are going from being dead and sin to alive in Christ.
00:13:13.220 You are looking at an awakening and we should praise God for that.
00:13:17.720 And if nothing else, the fact that 10,000 Bibles were given away, 10,000 Bibles, they
00:13:28.280 were, well, they were equipped to give out 10,000 Bibles.
00:13:31.760 They gave the, I think a couple thousand Bibles to those who were in attendance, but they had
00:13:37.400 10,000 Bibles to give away at that event.
00:13:40.980 And that is just incredible because the word of God does not return void.
00:13:45.820 So praise God for what he's doing there.
00:13:48.340 And may that catch on fire.
00:13:50.720 May we see that kind of awakening and revival happening all over the country at all different
00:13:56.140 kinds of organizations, but especially on college campuses.
00:13:59.300 Praise God.
00:14:00.420 All right.
00:14:00.740 Now let's turn into some of the craziness that is going on in the world and some real life
00:14:06.060 examples of why politics matter because policy matters and it really, really affects people.
00:14:12.040 Let me pause and tell you about our first sponsor for the day.
00:14:15.860 And that is Adele Natural Cosmetics.
00:14:18.220 You guys know how much I love Adele Natural Cosmetics.
00:14:20.840 They're going to be at our Share the Arrows event on September 28th.
00:14:24.460 And you'll get to meet some of the people that work at Adele.
00:14:27.400 You will find that they are just the best people.
00:14:30.940 And they started this company because they really care about the products that we use.
00:14:36.940 She actually, Arlene, who started the company, she started this health journey over 20 years
00:14:42.240 ago because of some things that were going on in her life.
00:14:44.820 And she realized, okay, I really have to care not just about what I'm putting in my body,
00:14:48.920 but also what I'm putting on my body.
00:14:50.640 So all of their products are completely toxin-free.
00:14:54.520 They are completely holistic, all natural, and they really work.
00:14:58.120 I have drier skin and so I need a lot to keep my skin moisturized.
00:15:02.620 I use Adele Natural Cosmetics in their Blue Lagoon line every single day.
00:15:06.840 It's really been a game changer for the texture of my face.
00:15:10.640 If you go to adelnaturalcosmetics.com, you can get 25% off your first time purchase with
00:15:15.960 my code Allie.
00:15:17.980 adelnaturalcosmetics.com, code Allie.
00:15:20.640 Okay, I don't know how many of you have seen what's going on in Aurora.
00:15:27.980 This is a suburb of Denver that a Venezuelan gang is literally taking over apartment complexes,
00:15:37.220 like carrying guns into an apartment complex, banging on people's door, going in there,
00:15:44.220 stealing stuff, tormenting people.
00:15:47.440 It's absolutely insane.
00:15:48.900 These are illegal aliens who are taking over an American city.
00:15:54.740 We actually have footage of this, but we're not allowed to play it because of the permissions
00:15:59.320 that we needed to be able to replay it on YouTube.
00:16:02.100 We weren't able to get those permissions, but just know this is not hyperbole at all.
00:16:07.160 You can go, you can look it up on X.
00:16:09.240 I'm sure there are several news articles that have this footage available, and you can watch
00:16:13.940 on security cameras these men with these huge guns breaking into these poor apartment complexes.
00:16:19.740 The brutal Venezuelan gang, Trin de Aragua, was drawn to Denver Sanctuary City and has been able to set up shop in the suburb of Aurora thanks to the policies of the Democrats that run the city and the surrounding areas.
00:16:39.620 And of course, we know that Kamala Harris, who is running for president, is a big fan of the kind of policies that unfortunately have decimated a place like Denver, Colorado.
00:16:51.540 And we'll get into the details of that in just a second.
00:16:54.260 But first, let's back up a little bit.
00:16:56.380 Let's talk about how this came to be, how Denver became a sanctuary city.
00:17:02.160 First, a sanctuary city is a city that says we are not going to, we're not going to work.
00:17:09.040 We're not going to comply with ICE, Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.
00:17:14.160 And if there is, for example, an illegal alien that gets caught stealing something and they go to jail and ICE says,
00:17:22.980 hey, detain them, we're going to pick them up and we're going to process them ourselves.
00:17:27.600 A sanctuary city might just release them and say, you know what, we're going to ignore your request and we're going to do what we want to do.
00:17:36.980 That is basically, there are some more details of that, but that's basically what it means to be a sanctuary city.
00:17:43.260 Denver Mayor Michael Hancock signed an ordinance into law in 2017, codifying the city's resistance to work with federal immigration enforcement,
00:17:51.380 along with establishing a donor funded legal defense and coordinated assistance fund for immigrants facing deportation shortly after Donald Trump was elected president.
00:18:00.320 So this started out mostly as a virtue signal, although there are several cities that started doing this when Obama was president.
00:18:08.680 San Francisco was one of them.
00:18:10.200 I think it was back in 2013 that they became a sanctuary city and the deleterious effects of that policy really came to light when a young woman by the name of Kate Steinle was murdered by an illegal alien who had a history of violent crime.
00:18:29.260 And yet, because he lived in the sanctuary city of San Francisco, he was continuously released.
00:18:37.620 And of course, in his latest release, he was able to steal a gun and murder a young woman in the prime of her life.
00:18:47.160 That is the effect of a sanctuary city.
00:18:50.820 That is what I call toxic empathy.
00:18:53.760 This is empathy that is used as a tool of emotional manipulation to get you to believe that the only compassionate side of an issue is the progressive side.
00:19:09.160 And so what you typically hear in stories about illegal immigration is the woman who fled El Salvador with her children for a better life.
00:19:19.180 And she has lived here for the past 15 years, and she has been able to work and be a productive citizen.
00:19:27.200 This is basically the only home that her children have ever known.
00:19:30.740 And then you hear that she is terrified by the specter of a Donald Trump presidency because she might face deportation.
00:19:38.280 And your heart goes out to her.
00:19:39.980 Your heart goes out to her as a woman, as a mother, as someone who is fleeing violence.
00:19:45.480 And then what they typically do, and by they I mean the media, NPR, the Washington Post, the New York Times, who is telling you this very emotional, empathy-driven story, is they say, you know, this is why you shouldn't vote for Donald Trump.
00:20:01.600 This is why the border wall is racist.
00:20:03.860 This is why we should be against deportation.
00:20:06.240 This is why we should make so-called undocumented people documented.
00:20:11.680 This is basically why we should decriminalize border crossings altogether because of this young woman named Maria who simply was coming here for a better life and to seek refuge for her children.
00:20:24.840 And, of course, they leave out some vital information that there is already a legal process by which you can claim asylum.
00:20:32.520 There is a legal definition to being a refugee.
00:20:36.660 If you are truly fleeing violence, then you need to seek asylum in the closest country, the closest and safest country that you can.
00:20:46.700 And also, that is one anecdote of thousands of other anecdotes of people who come here for bad reasons, who come here and commit crimes that are entirely preventable by simply enforcing border law.
00:21:04.840 Every single crime, every single crime, every single crime committed by an illegal alien is preventable.
00:21:11.980 Every single one.
00:21:13.360 Unlike many of the crimes committed by citizens, every crime committed by an illegal alien is preventable by enforcing common sense immigration and border law.
00:21:25.100 For every anecdote of a young mother fleeing El Salvador and fleeing violence to take refuge in America with her children, there are three or more anecdotes of an illegal alien coming here and murdering someone or raping someone or killing someone as a drunk driver.
00:21:48.960 So we can compete with an illegal alien.
00:22:18.940 Every single country has that right.
00:22:21.420 And that is the truth that we have to stick to at the end of the day.
00:22:25.240 And so when we look at a place like Aurora that is being completely taken over by this gang, realize that this is a policy decision.
00:22:32.260 This is not something that sprung up on us.
00:22:34.240 This is not something that is surprising.
00:22:35.960 This is the result of evil and chaotic policies done in the name, passed in the name, voted for in the name of toxic empathy and Christians as people who love our neighbors, right?
00:22:48.760 Not just who feel empathy for the supposed victim that is hoisted up by the media, but people who actually feel love.
00:22:57.180 So seek the best interest of those around us.
00:23:01.080 We should vote for policies not based on emotional manipulation and toxic empathy.
00:23:05.520 We should base our policy decisions on what is good and right and true, what leads to order, what leads to peace.
00:23:16.340 And open borders leads to lawlessness.
00:23:19.620 It leads to chaos.
00:23:21.000 It leads to the poorest among us being economically disenfranchised and being vulnerable to violence.
00:23:30.780 That's what all forms of lawlessness, whether it's social justice policies when it comes to how we deal with citizens who break the law, or when it comes to social justice soft on crime policies when it comes to non-citizens who break the law.
00:23:45.640 That is the backdrop of everything that is going on right now in Denver.
00:23:50.440 This is Toxic Empathy Run Amok, which is exactly why I wrote my book, and that's exactly why I pushed for it to come out before the election on October 15th.
00:24:00.840 My chapter on illegal immigration, because we go through abortion, gender, marriage, immigration, social justice, actually my chapter on immigration, it surprised me the most because it was my favorite to write, because I actually ended up, as I was writing it, being the most passionate.
00:24:19.140 Believe it or not, not that this is more important to me than abortion, because it's not, but just realizing that when I say social justice kills, when I say soft on crime policies kill, when I say progressivism kills, illegal immigration and the violence it has brought and the economic disenfranchisement it has resulted in is such a perfect example of the manifestation of toxic empathy.
00:24:48.140 So I know I kind of went on a tangent there.
00:25:18.120 In order to pass an ordinance like this.
00:25:20.120 In other words, the ordinance resulted in less federal funding, millions of dollars at this point from 2018 to present, for Denver to deal with the cost of overseeing illegals who committed crimes, because it required asking about immigration status.
00:25:38.480 So what has been the result?
00:25:40.480 Because, of course, we hear from the left, oh, no, crime is down.
00:25:47.240 And oh, by the way, citizens commit more crimes than illegal.
00:25:51.300 So apparently, because of that, we should just be OK with adding unnecessary and preventable crime to the crimes already being committed by citizens.
00:25:59.660 And they just want to gaslight us into believing that everything is totally fine.
00:26:03.920 I don't buy it.
00:26:04.960 You don't buy it.
00:26:05.740 So let's look at what's really going on.

00:27:44.060 So you'll remember that the Harris Biden administration undid all of Trump's immigration policies, opened the southern border.
00:27:58.820 You'll remember the back and forth that Greg Abbott and Joe Biden have had as Greg Abbott has tried desperately to secure the border of Texas and Mexico through barbed wire, through buoys.
00:28:15.520 And the federal government literally came in and removed them, removed the barriers that Texas put in place to protect its own people, to protect the country.
00:28:26.540 Imagine, imagine that.
00:28:28.220 And of course, that is also under the direction of Kamali Harris, who was deemed the border czar.
00:28:33.500 And now we see Denver is dealing with that dereliction of duty by Harris, by Biden, and also dealing with its own policies, the consequences of its own policies that it put in place in 2017.
00:28:50.400 Denver now leads the nation in new migrant arrivals per capita, with more than 40,000 arriving from the southern border since December 2022.
00:29:00.160 So that's where we see the combination of their 2017 ordinance and Biden's presidency.
00:29:06.380 The city, of course, has been over backwards to provide aid, even slashing emergency services to help foot the cost.
00:29:12.720 So far, estimated at over $68 million and counting.
00:29:18.020 In recent months, the Colorado governor, Democrat, of course, signed legislation to support their new lives in the state by making it easier for them to obtain driver's licenses,
00:29:27.080 attend school, and obtain taxpayer-funded resources.
00:29:30.020 Like, you see what's happening, right?
00:29:32.660 Like, you see that they want these people to become voters.
00:29:35.380 Like, this is obvious, right?
00:29:36.700 These people who act like they're the sentinels of democracy.
00:29:41.300 They are importing their voters to disenfranchise and take away the power of your vote, you as a tax-paying citizen.
00:29:52.040 When the influx of migrants became too much, Colorado Governor Jared Polis made the decision to start busing them to New York City in 2023 through a program that has since ended.
00:30:04.620 Oh, my goodness.
00:30:05.380 So instead of just changing his lodge, instead of changing the policies, he decided that he was going to ship them to another sanctuary city, New York City.
00:30:16.380 Still, many states, some moved to nearby Aurora, which has a population of 390,000, where apartments are now under gang control.
00:30:24.980 This gang is called Trin de Aragua, and just a little background about them.
00:30:30.220 They are a prison gang hailing from the Aragua region of Venezuela.
00:30:35.380 It's been sending its members across the U.S.-Mexico border for years while also recruiting within the U.S. among migrant communities.
00:30:41.760 Homeland Security sources have confirmed that the gang is tied to several violent crimes in sanctuary cities.
00:30:48.280 Great!
00:30:49.480 Great!
00:30:50.060 This is awesome.
00:30:51.240 The gang has ties to the killing of Georgia nursing student Lakin Riley earlier this year.
00:30:56.540 Both of her murderers' brothers are believed to be in the gang.
00:31:00.300 Remember Lakin Riley?
00:31:01.560 We'll put up a picture of Lakin.
00:31:03.680 Things happen so fast.
00:31:05.360 Things go so quickly.
00:31:06.420 It's so easy for us to hear a terrible, tragic story like the murder of a young woman in Athens, Georgia, and then just move past it.
00:31:13.500 But her family hasn't moved past it.
00:31:15.680 Her friends haven't moved past it.
00:31:17.580 They will be traumatized forever.
00:31:19.860 Athens, another sanctuary-type city in the state of Georgia.
00:31:24.960 Of course he was there, and she was going on a run on a Sunday morning, minding her business.
00:31:30.220 When this man started following her, this Venezuelan illegal, and brutally bashed her head in and murdered her.
00:31:39.960 A young woman, again, in the prime of her life.
00:31:42.720 Same thing happened to Molly Tibbetts.
00:31:45.240 I mean, how many times does this have to happen to realize we absolutely need mass deportations and to stop every single illegal entrance into our country?
00:31:56.380 Don't give me the hogwash that, well, citizens murder too.
00:32:01.300 Okay, I understand.
00:32:02.800 I understand that.
00:32:03.880 And if you want to talk about deporting them, we can have that conversation.
00:32:07.760 But we've got prisons for them.
00:32:09.800 Just because citizens murder doesn't mean that we need to import more murderers.
00:32:15.400 And I know, I understand that not everyone who comes here illegally is going to commit another crime besides the crime of crossing the border illegally.
00:32:23.200 I understand that not every one of them is going to be a murderer or a rapist.
00:32:27.740 Most of them probably won't.
00:32:29.900 But even if it's 1%, even if it's one person, that's enough to say no.
00:32:36.400 And again, it's not even just about that.
00:32:38.460 It is about the principle that we are a sovereign country.
00:32:42.020 And sane countries protect their sovereignty because we are the responsibility of our government.
00:32:48.880 Their responsibility, their obligation is to us, not to every other citizen of every other country.
00:32:56.240 And again, that's true of every country.
00:33:00.040 Every government of every country should be responsible to its own citizens.
00:33:04.420 That doesn't mean it has to be completely isolationist.
00:33:07.180 It doesn't mean that it has to accept zero refugees or zero asylum seekers.
00:33:12.660 I'm not saying that.
00:33:14.000 But a country does have a right to say which people are going to come in.
00:33:17.220 A country does have a right to say how many people are going to come in.
00:33:21.800 And I thought that we lived in a democracy.
00:33:24.160 The left is talking all about democracy.
00:33:26.620 Did you vote for these people to come into our country?
00:33:30.280 I didn't.
00:33:32.360 And so if this is a country that rests on the will of the people, I'm not sure even on the Democrat side how many people would say that this is what we want.
00:33:42.500 We want for apartment complexes in the suburbs of Denver to be taken over by a violent Venezuelan gang.
00:33:50.840 However, you do need to know that when you vote Democrat, that's exactly what you're voting for.
00:33:55.140 You need to understand that.
00:33:57.660 That policies actually matter.
00:33:59.420 That's why I'm sorry.
00:34:01.220 I just, I cannot empathize with you.
00:34:04.840 I cannot affirm you, Christian, when you say that, well, politics don't matter because Jesus is coming back.
00:34:11.280 Or I don't want to get involved in politics.
00:34:13.820 I don't want to care what's going on in the culture war.
00:34:16.840 Look, the lives of the people that this gang is tormenting, they matter.
00:34:21.100 And they are here in this country in which God has providentially placed you, and the policies that are going into place really affect their lives.
00:34:31.140 It's not a Christian attitude to say, well, that doesn't affect me, so I don't care.
00:34:35.600 You're not obligated to care about everything and everyone, everywhere.
00:34:39.320 But we are called to care about our communities, and we are called to care about the policies put into place that affects our communities, especially the most vulnerable members of our communities.
00:34:51.240 And too many, especially Christian women, are duped by toxic empathy into believing that voting for progressive policies like a sanctuary city will lead to the health and fruition of the most vulnerable.
00:35:02.360 And the opposite is actually true.
00:35:04.020 In July, the Biden administration designated Trin de Aragua as a transnational criminal organization, offering a reward of $12 million for the arrest of its leaders.
00:35:16.200 So even the Biden administration, like while they're letting people in, they're also saying, yeah, this is a terrorist group.
00:35:22.020 The leadership also recently gave a green light for its members to shoot and attack cops across the U.S., according to a memo from the Homeland Security Investigations Office in Chicago.
00:35:31.180 So what's happening in Aurora right now?
00:35:34.020 The gang has seized multiple apartment complexes and is committing violent, heinous crimes in Aurora.
00:35:38.960 This has happened despite Aurora passing a resolution in February that it does not share Denver's position on immigration and that it will not provide resources to illegal immigrants brought into the community from neighboring cities.
00:35:50.160 So there's some sanity there, but it might be a little bit too late.
00:35:54.240 The surrounding areas are now having to deal with Denver's progressive policies.
00:35:58.160 Denver's illegal immigration and now resulting gang violence has become Aurora's problem.
00:36:05.620 The gang's shock collar for the region was identified as I don't even know.
00:36:12.020 I don't it doesn't matter.
00:36:13.280 I can't pronounce his name.
00:36:14.980 When this person crossed the southern border in 2022 into Texas, he was vetted by federal border authorities who didn't see anything concerning about his past.
00:36:23.020 And then released Homeland Security sources said it's concerning enough that they're crossing the border illegally.
00:36:30.820 That's a crime.
00:36:31.700 That's enough to turn them right back around.
00:36:35.000 And we should be having zero, zero, zero, zero military aged men even make it close to our border.
00:36:43.160 And yet we do not just from South America and Mexico, but from all over the world.
00:36:49.200 And then in November 2023, this person alongside fellow gang members brutally beat a man in an apartment complex allegedly run by the group.
00:36:57.280 He was eventually arrested in March 2024 and hit with several felony assault charges, but was bailed out of custody and failed to show up for his court date thereafter.
00:37:05.900 Huh?
00:37:06.820 Social justice kills.
00:37:08.360 Why was his bail set low enough for him to be able to be released?
00:37:12.160 What?
00:37:13.260 It should have been 50 billion dollars.
00:37:16.920 He was caught again in July for a shooting at the same complex where two men were wounded.
00:37:22.500 He was quickly arrested and handed over to ICE.
00:37:25.340 An immigration judge ordered his deportation last week, but because he is from Venezuela, a country that doesn't accept deportations from the U.S., he is likely to stay here.
00:37:33.860 Okay, so the Venezuela can just say, no, we're not taking our citizen back.
00:37:38.540 Like, in America, apparently the greatest and most powerful country in the world is like, hurdy-durder.
00:37:45.880 Okay, we'll keep him here.
00:37:48.180 It's fine.
00:37:49.000 Like, we're acting like we do not have all of the firepower in the world.
00:37:55.560 Like, we have no ability to guard our own borders or enforce the law.
00:38:00.400 We have the ability.
00:38:01.720 We do not have the courage.
00:38:03.560 We have the capability.
00:38:05.160 We do not have the will.
00:38:07.480 That's what it is.
00:38:08.500 Like, we have a bunch of Soros-funded progressive judges and DAs and governors and mayors who are paid to bring America into disorder and decay and disarray.
00:38:27.100 That is what is going on.
00:38:29.640 And it's evil.
00:38:30.660 And people, especially the poorest people and the most vulnerable people, are going to pay the price.
00:38:38.560 It reminds me of that verse, and this is a verse that I also included at the beginning of a chapter of my book, the one on social justice.
00:38:50.980 And it speaks to the result of failing to enforce the law.
00:38:58.340 Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.
00:39:07.940 That's Ecclesiastes 8, 11.
00:39:12.120 It is God's justice for a sentence to be carried out proportionate to the crime that's committed, but also speedily.
00:39:22.500 But here in the United States, we so often don't do that in the name of empathy, in the name of tolerance, in the name of social justice.
00:39:31.620 And the very people that we say that we care about end up getting hurt.
00:39:37.880 Governor Jared Polis, he's acting like this didn't really happen.
00:39:41.880 He says it's basically a figment of people's imagination.
00:39:45.480 His press office offered a statement last Wednesday.
00:39:49.940 The governor has already let the mayor know that the state is ready to support the local police department with assistance from state troopers and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation if needed.
00:39:58.360 But according to police intelligence, this purported invasion is largely a feature of this councilwoman's, Danielle Jerinsky, who is sounding the alarm about this.
00:40:08.200 It's largely a figment of her imagination.
00:40:11.180 Denver Mayor Mike Johnson says, actually, you know, this is not really happening.
00:40:18.400 Our crime levels are going down.
00:40:22.060 Any population will have very small subsets of folks that don't follow the rules, and we hold those folks accountable.
00:40:26.860 We actually know, historically, it's always true that we have lower levels of crime around migrants than we do among our general population.
00:40:32.860 So that is, there's a risk of misperceptions about this population as more dangerous, causing more trouble.
00:40:37.560 That's just factually not true.
00:40:38.840 But we are aware of it.
00:40:40.260 We have overt and covert operations going every day to intervene, and where we know there are risks, we're going to be aggressive about making arrests, about pressing charges, and if needing, deporting folks.
00:40:49.420 But I think the much bigger risk is that you'll have a perception that all of the newcomers in the city are dangerous and nothing could be farther from the truth.
00:40:55.820 That's the bigger risk.
00:40:57.240 The bigger risk is that some people might be mean to illegal aliens.
00:41:01.920 That's the bigger risk.
00:41:03.920 The smaller risk is that an apartment complex is being taken over by a terroristic gang and that people are being murdered.
00:41:10.160 Okay, got it.
00:41:12.520 Also, again, that just, that idea that illegal aliens commit less crimes, fewer crimes than citizens.
00:41:20.120 First of all, we don't know that because, by definition, they're undocumented.
00:41:23.320 So we don't really have a way of even gathering those statistics reliably.
00:41:27.520 Secondly, second, again, even if that were true, why should we add to the crimes already being committed by citizens?
00:41:34.700 Also, some state reps have a response to what the Denver mayor said there.
00:41:39.000 But let me tell you about our next sponsor before we get into that, and that is Patriot Mobile.

00:42:29.400 A representative of Colorado, Javier Mabray, he said,
00:42:35.000 Denver's crime rate has consistently declined over the past two years, even through spikes in migration.
00:42:40.220 Don't buy into the false narrative seeking to demonize migrants.
00:42:45.600 But in response to that, former Colorado State Representative Rob Fairbank argues that Denver was
00:42:50.500 recently forced to close parks and food trucks due to crime.
00:42:54.380 He said, Denver legislator claims a Denver crime rate is decreasing.
00:42:59.480 Also, Denver can't have nice things because of, checks notes, crime.
00:43:04.600 And he is pointing out two stories from the Denver Post.
00:43:08.100 Denver closes two public parks citing drug sales, violence, and vandalism.
00:43:13.740 That was from August 23rd of this year.
00:43:16.100 Here is another report from Nine News, an affiliate of NBC.
00:43:22.260 Denver police bans food trucks in Lodo, I'm sure that's short for something,
00:43:28.660 on weekend nights to curb crime.
00:43:32.280 So you can't have food trucks on Saturday night.
00:43:35.120 You can't have these two public parks because of violence and vandalism, but everything is going great.
00:43:41.520 The media and progressives never want you to believe your lying eyes.
00:43:45.640 It's the same thing as when they tell you that inflation really isn't that bad,
00:43:49.760 that your grocery bill isn't really that far up,
00:43:53.300 and that really all of this illegal migration and the lawlessness that you're seeing in the cities
00:44:00.320 and the absolute just deterioration of some of America's greatest cities,
00:44:05.660 some of the world's best cities here in the United States,
00:44:08.460 that it's not really happening, that it doesn't really affect you.
00:44:11.780 Like, just think about it really simply.
00:44:13.880 Here's how you decide whether you should vote for a Democrat or Republican.
00:44:18.080 Look at any major city in the U.S., Denver, San Francisco, Portland, Los Angeles, Philadelphia,
00:44:27.640 Washington, D.C., New York City.
00:44:30.840 Have those cities over the past 10 years become better or worse?
00:44:36.060 Have they become cleaner?
00:44:37.800 Have they become safer?
00:44:40.140 Have they become a place that you are more likely to take your kids to visit?
00:44:44.840 Or have they become dirtier?
00:44:47.780 Have the homeless encampments grown?
00:44:50.680 Have they become less safe?
00:44:53.260 More lawless?
00:44:55.500 And who is running those cities?
00:44:57.840 Have they become more conservative in their policies?
00:45:01.300 Or have they become more progressive?
00:45:03.040 Have they decriminalized, for example, public drug use or public defecation
00:45:08.880 or setting up tent cities?
00:45:11.320 Or have they started to refuse to prosecute crimes?
00:45:17.280 Or have they become more strict in their law enforcement?
00:45:21.740 I think you know the answer to that.
00:45:23.760 Those cities have become more progressive.
00:45:25.720 They've been dominated by Democrats for a very long time.
00:45:28.740 And they've also become worse.
00:45:30.600 So we have it right there.
00:45:32.360 We have the case studies for what Democrat policies do.
00:45:35.740 They make places worse.
00:45:37.520 In fact, I don't know that you can give me one example of a city that's been run by Democrats
00:45:43.260 for any amount of time that has actually gotten better.
00:45:46.960 I mean, even the blue cities and the red states, like Memphis, for example, it's only gotten worse
00:45:52.400 to where the people that live there, they feel like, OK, this is my tiny little enclave of my city
00:45:57.420 that I feel like I can safely go.
00:45:59.380 And it's getting smaller and smaller and smaller.
00:46:01.840 And we're being forced to live that way because of the deliberate decisions of progressive politicians
00:46:07.400 and maybe also the lack of courage of Republican politicians, too.
00:46:12.300 And of course, the Democrat that is running for president of the United States and actually
00:46:16.740 has a significant chance of winning that, of being back into the White House, is none
00:46:22.440 other than the border czar herself, who has supported the sanctuary city policies that
00:46:28.580 have led to the demise of major cities and, of course, the deaths of innocent people.
00:46:32.660 As San Francisco DA Kamala Harris supported sanctuary city policies in her own city, she continues
00:46:39.500 to argue, actually, that a, quote, undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.
00:46:46.600 She said that many, many times over the years, even though, as we talked about yesterday with
00:46:52.040 Dana Bash in her CNN interview, she says, oh, yeah, there's got to be consequences to that
00:46:55.700 for that crossing the border illegally because she knows that's where most of the country is.
00:47:00.160 But here she is several times over the years saying that
00:47:03.340 crossing the border illegally should not be a crime.
00:47:06.700 Here's thought, too.
00:47:07.860 An undocumented immigrant is not a crime.
00:47:10.420 I know what a crime looks like.
00:47:11.720 An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.
00:47:14.520 An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.
00:47:17.000 An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.
00:47:19.880 An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.
00:47:22.120 An undocumented immigrant is not a criminal.
00:47:24.780 an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal those are all separate instances of her saying that
00:47:30.680 so what she thinks is that you should be able to no matter who you are supposedly i didn't see any
00:47:38.540 stipulations there any qualifications no matter who you are it doesn't matter if you're a gang
00:47:43.100 member it doesn't matter if you are a convicted pedophile rapist from zambia it doesn't matter
00:47:51.800 you can come in here it doesn't matter if you're a spy from china you can cross the border and that
00:47:57.840 in and of itself is not enough for you to face any consequences in the united states we're supposed
00:48:03.860 to wait i guess until you actually steal or rape or murder or commit some other crime and even then
00:48:11.060 i'm not even sure if she knows or if she believes that that person should face any consequences
00:48:17.400 believing that crossing the border illegally is not a crime means that you functionally
00:48:23.860 think that there is no border if anyone can cross the border and it is not a crime to do so then we
00:48:32.220 are not a sovereign country and of course we have seen that belief manifest itself over the past
00:48:37.940 several years as we have had a record number of border crossings the people crossing the border the
00:48:43.460 bad actors crossing the border know exactly who is in charge and what the policies are and that is why
00:48:49.160 of course uh we had so much better numbers under donald trump even though he didn't build the wall
00:48:56.640 uh like many of us wanted him to they know they know the incentive structure changes when a democrat
00:49:04.980 uh is in charge when she was the da of san francisco in 2004 uh she ran on a campaign vowing to never
00:49:14.340 impose the death penalty and supported the city's decade old uh sanctuary city policy while in office
00:49:22.200 so i guess their sanctuary city policy really went back further than i thought uh harris argued at the
00:49:27.500 time that the policy allowed illegal migrants to come forward about crimes without fear of retribution for
00:49:32.020 their immigrant status but actually of course that is not true here are some of the crimes committed
00:49:37.960 on her watch by illegal immigrants who benefited from the sanctuary city policies that she supported
00:49:43.720 when she was da of san francisco we have edwin ramos he's he was an illegal migrant from el
00:49:49.780 salvador he committed a triple homicide in san francisco when harris was district attorney
00:49:55.520 ramos's gruesome killings of three members of a family rocked national headlines and before the
00:50:02.780 triple shooting ramos had been arrested several times as a juvenile for being involved in a gang
00:50:07.700 related assault on a on a bus passenger but um of course he was not referred to federal authorities
00:50:15.520 per sanctuary city policies then we have roni aguilera he was an illegal migrant from honduras
00:50:20.340 he was another juvenile who was arrested during harris's reign and not turned over to federal
00:50:25.780 authorities for his immigration status after being set free in 2007 after he had already assaulted
00:50:31.840 someone he was involved in the gruesome gang related murder of ivan miranda in 2008 we've got
00:50:38.120 alexander uh isaguire an illegal immigrant from honduras was chosen for harris's back on track program
00:50:45.460 which provided job training and could expunge the criminal records of low-level drug offenders while
00:50:52.140 in the program in 2008 isaguire assaulted san francisco resident amanda keifer he snatched her purse
00:50:58.400 jumped into an suv and ran keifer down with the vehicle leaving her with a fractured skull
00:51:04.020 at the time harris said accepting isaguire into the back on track program was a mistake but she allowed
00:51:10.520 the other illegal migrants in the program to continue their terms and graduate social justice
00:51:17.260 harms social justice kills jose inez garcia zarate claimed he found a gun under the bench he was sitting
00:51:25.240 uh he was sitting on a long appear in san francisco and that is the man who killed 32 year old kate steinley
00:51:32.480 in 2015 i i wrote about her in my book and i was just crying as i was writing it because
00:51:39.360 she was with her dad she was with a friend she was walking down the pier and all of a sudden they
00:51:44.240 heard the shot ring out they didn't know what would happen or what had happened and then her dad turned
00:51:48.760 around saw that she had been shot um in the back through her chest and the last words that she said
00:51:56.500 before she died was daddy help me and then she lost her life um they took her to the hospital tried to
00:52:04.700 save her and of course that didn't work and that is because of the san francisco sanctuary city policies
00:52:12.920 that kamala harris who is right now running for president of the united states supported
00:52:20.060 politics matter because policy matters because people matter if people ask me all the time about
00:52:30.060 my thoughts again i know we talked about this yesterday on you know trump's comments on the
00:52:35.420 issue that matters most to me abortion and i'm telling you and i know some things that people
00:52:43.100 who are close to him i'm i'm not but people who are close to him have told me i'm telling you
00:52:47.380 that he can be swayed in that direction and that gives me a lot of hope and something to pray for and
00:52:54.940 to work toward and then i also look at these other issues that really are for some people a matter of
00:53:00.980 life and death and i think there is no chance on earth there's no chance on earth i could not vote for
00:53:10.940 donald trump even when it just comes to the immigration issue alone there is a lot of reasons
00:53:18.300 to enthusiastically vote against kamala harris i think immigration is one of the biggest ones we are
00:53:26.520 looking at an absolute disaster and then some if she becomes president all right let me tell you about

00:57:37.520 midwesterners londoners bland food tater tot casserole i know i think people from london would
