00:00:00.000 Amber Thurman tragically died after a failed abortion, but now Democrats, the media, and activists are trying to blame Georgia's pro-life law and Donald Trump for her death.
00:00:14.340 While we are fact-checking this propaganda on today's episode of Relatable, we are also responding to a recent comment that the Pope made about the election.
00:00:25.420 This episode is brought to you by our friends at CrowdHealth.
00:00:28.780 Go to joincrowdhealth.com slash Allie.
00:00:31.520 That's joincrowdhealth.com slash Allie.
00:00:44.040 Hey guys, welcome to Relatable.
00:00:45.760 Happy Thursday.
00:00:46.760 Hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far.
00:00:49.280 We've got a ton to get to today, so I'm going to get right into it after I just point out this super cute sweatshirt that I'm wearing.
00:00:55.800 This is my first time wearing my Jesus Wins merch, and I love it.
00:01:00.040 It's just a reminder for us, not only during this election season, but forever, that Jesus wins in the end.
00:01:06.280 And so we operate as people with hope, knowing that one day there will be no more corruption.
00:01:13.040 There will be no more cowardice.
00:01:15.900 There will be no more sin, no more sorrow, no more partisanship, no more disagreements, that Jesus is going to win.
00:01:22.280 He is going to do away with evil forever and ever, and he will rule in perfect peace.
00:01:28.240 So whenever we are looking at the chaos and the evil that goes on in this world, and we are tempted to feel like God is doing nothing, remember, he's never doing nothing.
00:01:38.940 His eternal plan of redemption is always going off without a hitch.
00:01:44.560 I was reading Psalm 49 this morning, and it talks about not worrying when you see an evil person flourishing, becoming wealthy, becoming successful,
00:02:00.400 seeming like everything is falling into place for them because that person is going to die just like everyone else.
00:02:07.320 And in the end, all of the wealth and the fame that they've accumulated will come to nothing.
00:02:12.500 We will all give an account to God.
00:02:15.740 Psalm 37 has the same spirit that, do not be envious of wrongdoers or evildoers, for they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.
00:02:29.800 And Jesus is coming back, and he is going to avenge his people.
00:02:34.820 He is going to do away with wickedness forever and ever.
00:02:39.140 So we can trust that his wrath is kindling, that he has the day, the hour of his return already planned out, and he has since before time began.
00:02:51.740 So our responsibility is to trust, to trust and obey, to do the next right thing in faith with excellence and for the glory of God, knowing that he wins in the end.
00:03:03.300 And yet, Jesus winning is not an excuse for our apathy or our disengagement.
00:03:10.520 As we've talked about several times, Jeremiah 29, most people know Jeremiah 29, 11,
00:03:16.260 for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you.
00:03:21.780 That's a beautiful verse when we're looking at it in context.
00:03:24.860 But if you look at the entirety of that chapter, God is speaking to Israelites in captivity, in exile, in Babylon.
00:03:34.880 And one of the commands that he gives them is to seek the welfare of the city that I have placed you in,
00:03:42.280 for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
00:03:46.020 Well, we're not ancient Israel, but we as Christians are exiles in this world, in this life.
00:03:53.700 Our citizenship is in heaven.
00:03:57.520 And if Israel was called to seek the welfare of the place that God had providentially placed them in the Old Testament,
00:04:05.700 it would seem that the same principles would apply to us today.
00:04:09.920 Because we've been placed here in this temporal, physical context, in the here, in the now,
00:04:15.060 in this tiny spot of eternity, on this tiny speck of the planet,
00:04:20.840 by a God who does nothing arbitrarily or accidentally.
00:04:25.880 He does everything with purpose.
00:04:27.980 He does everything according to his perfect will, according to providence.
00:04:32.160 And we were placed here to give him glory, to share the gospel, to do good for those around us.
00:04:40.440 And one of the ways, one of the ways that we can do good for the neighbors that we are commanded to love
00:04:47.400 is to care about politics.
00:04:50.940 What do we always say?
00:04:52.220 Politics matter because policy matters because people matter.
00:04:55.320 People are made in the image of God.
00:04:56.720 They matter to God.
00:04:58.020 Therefore, they matter to us.
00:04:59.340 And we still live in a country in which we can exercise our right, our right to vote.
00:05:06.840 Who we vote for actually matters.
00:05:09.720 The policies that they advocate for, that they push for, have a real effect on people's lives.
00:05:16.480 The most tangible example I can think of of this is, of course, abortion.
00:05:21.800 We are looking at policy that can either spare the lives of these babies in the womb
00:05:29.900 or make it as easy as possible for their innocent lives to be snuffed out.
00:05:36.820 And you'll see a lot over the next few months, as we're about to talk about,
00:05:42.300 when it comes to the discourse around abortion,
00:05:45.580 you'll see a lot of arguments trying to persuade you via what I call toxic empathy
00:05:54.460 into believing that the pro-choice, which is functionally a pro-abortion position,
00:06:00.400 is the compassionate one.
00:06:03.020 And here's the formula that you'll see.
00:06:05.440 You've seen it several times, especially over the past few years,
00:06:08.360 especially post-Dobbs' decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade.
00:06:13.180 The media will hoist up a particular victim.
00:06:17.260 It will be a woman who says that she needed an abortion for whatever reason.
00:06:23.380 Because she was in a difficult financial situation.
00:06:26.820 She was in an abusive relationship.
00:06:29.760 She just had a child.
00:06:32.760 She just doesn't want a baby right now.
00:06:36.720 Or maybe the baby got a life-limiting diagnosis.
00:06:41.000 And they will bid you to feel what this woman feels.
00:06:47.340 And they will then tell a story that is meant to prove to you
00:06:52.980 that the pro-life laws that have been put in place in several Republican-led states
00:06:58.560 since the Dobbs' decision, that they are draconian, that they are cruel,
00:07:04.480 that they are harming this woman who is just trying to exercise her
00:07:08.760 quote-unquote bodily autonomy, is just trying to do what's best for her
00:07:13.320 or do what's best for her children or her life, for her future, or her safety.
00:07:21.180 And they will make you believe that these pro-life laws have just gone too far.
00:07:28.980 That these pro-life laws are limiting miscarriage care.
00:07:33.380 That they're causing women to die.
00:07:35.380 That they're not pro-life laws at all.
00:07:37.000 That they're just laws that are controlling women's bodies,
00:07:39.660 damaging women's health care.
00:07:41.760 And as they tell you these stories to get you to only put yourself
00:07:46.420 in the shoes of the woman who is seeking an abortion,
00:07:50.700 they are purposely ignoring the other person on the side,
00:07:56.000 on the other side of this moral equation.
00:07:58.440 And that, of course, is the baby in the womb.
00:08:02.820 That, of course, is the person who is always the victim of every single abortion.
00:08:09.020 And that is that image bearer, that helpless image bearer of God inside the womb.
00:08:16.420 The reason why I call this toxic empathy
00:08:20.000 is because they are not only bidding you to have compassion for the woman.
00:08:26.460 They are bidding you to feel what she feels
00:08:29.200 so that you affirm the sinful, damaging, deadly choice of abortion.
00:08:35.120 And to ignore the feelings, the needs, the rights, the well-being,
00:08:41.120 the very existence of the baby who is dying,
00:08:45.700 who is being murdered in an abortion procedure.
00:08:50.000 See, Christians are not called to empathy, actually.
00:08:55.160 Empathy can be good or bad.
00:08:57.200 You put yourself in someone's shoes, you feel how they feel.
00:08:59.820 That might motivate you to do good.
00:09:02.020 That might motivate you to share with them,
00:09:04.260 to be generous with them, to love them,
00:09:06.380 to help them, to meet their needs.
00:09:08.380 Or you might feel what they feel so much
00:09:11.580 that you are completely blinded to reality and blinded to morality.
00:09:16.940 Empathy can only get you so far.
00:09:19.160 It can lead you to actually cruelty in supporting something like abortion.
00:09:23.360 Or maybe it could lead you to love and understanding.
00:09:27.200 But love and understanding and compassion and service and generosity,
00:09:30.900 those are the virtues that we're reaching toward as Christians,
00:09:34.740 not empathy as an end.
00:09:37.960 Christians are called to a better approach,
00:09:41.360 the truth in love approach.
00:09:43.680 Because love and empathy are not the same things.
00:09:46.820 Empathy feels.
00:09:48.340 Love is not a feeling.
00:09:50.960 It does.
00:09:51.940 It sacrifices.
00:09:53.980 And God is love.
00:09:55.580 1 John 4, 8, he defines it in 1 Corinthians 13.
00:09:59.000 And one of the ways that he defines it
00:10:01.340 is that love never rejoices in wrongdoing,
00:10:04.560 but rejoices with the truth.
00:10:08.280 See, empathy is not concerned with the truth.
00:10:10.220 Empathy is concerned with how someone feels,
00:10:11.900 which again can be okay.
00:10:13.920 But we cannot truly love someone
00:10:16.180 without first starting with the truth.
00:10:17.780 That's what the God who is love tells us.
00:10:21.020 So in every issue,
00:10:22.000 especially when it comes to this life and death issue of abortion,
00:10:25.640 we have to start there.
00:10:27.160 With what is true.
00:10:29.120 Not just how does this woman feel,
00:10:31.100 but what is true.
00:10:32.220 What is scientifically true about life inside the womb?
00:10:34.740 What is medically true about what an abortion is?
00:10:37.580 What is morally true about what is right and wrong
00:10:42.620 when it comes to the taking of innocent life?
00:10:44.540 And most importantly,
00:10:45.440 what is biblically true?
00:10:46.800 What does God have to say about life inside the womb?
00:10:50.240 What does God have to say about the intentional killing
00:10:52.660 of an innocent person?
00:10:53.840 That is the lens through which,
00:10:56.160 the truth in love lens through which we must look at every issue,
00:11:02.140 especially political issues,
00:11:04.020 especially this issue of abortion.
00:11:05.720 So that is our launching pad into this conversation
00:11:10.080 about this tragic story that you've seen circulating on social media
00:11:14.160 that the media,
00:11:15.800 Kamala Harris is using as a justification for voting for her
00:11:20.280 about this single mother,
00:11:23.220 Amber Thurman,
00:11:24.840 who tragically died after taking abortion pills
00:11:27.740 to kill her unborn twin babies.
00:11:30.440 So we'll get into all of that in just a second,
00:11:33.740 just a couple of things that I want to tell you
00:11:36.920 before we get into the story and the details of it.
00:11:41.360 Number one,
00:11:43.020 I have a book coming out called Toxic Empathy
00:11:45.740 and it's coming out October 15th.
00:11:49.200 And it is a guidebook for you all to have
00:11:52.820 these very difficult conversations,
00:11:55.480 especially in this election season.
00:11:57.240 Of course,
00:11:57.840 it's relevant beyond that.
00:11:59.440 It's particularly for Christian women.
00:12:02.700 We go through abortion,
00:12:05.260 gender,
00:12:06.660 sexuality and marriage,
00:12:07.940 immigration,
00:12:08.780 and then what's often referred to as social justice.
00:12:11.800 And we look at how progressives couch these issues,
00:12:15.220 how they make these issues look,
00:12:17.300 how they use toxic empathy to convince Christian women
00:12:20.300 that the progressive side of these issues
00:12:23.640 is the compassionate one,
00:12:26.140 is the righteous one.
00:12:27.840 And then we look at the other side.
00:12:29.200 Who is actually being harmed by the progressive position on these things?
00:12:34.020 And then we back up and ask the most important question,
00:12:36.980 but what is true?
00:12:38.140 What is good?
00:12:39.220 What is right?
00:12:41.240 And so this is going to equip you with all of the arguments,
00:12:44.900 with all of the information that you need
00:12:48.080 to be able to defend your position
00:12:50.600 on all of these very contentious issues
00:12:52.460 completely confidently,
00:12:53.460 completely confidently.
00:12:54.960 So this is an easy book to read.
00:12:56.720 It's a short book to read,
00:12:57.780 but it is jam packed
00:12:59.640 with the best logical and biblical arguments
00:13:04.400 that I know,
00:13:05.340 that I've read,
00:13:06.140 that I could come up with.
00:13:07.240 And this is so important for you to get
00:13:09.780 before the election.
00:13:11.320 Go ahead and pre-order it
00:13:12.420 so you get it
00:13:13.120 as soon as it comes out on October 15th.
00:13:15.820 You can just go to ToxicEmpathy.com,
00:13:19.580 ToxicEmpathy.com,
00:13:21.720 and then you can pre-order it there.
00:13:25.340 All right.
00:13:26.200 Before we get into this,
00:13:27.460 let me go ahead and tell you
00:13:28.560 about our first sponsor for the day.
00:13:30.900 And that is Every Life,
00:13:33.220 which is a very fitting sponsor
00:13:35.020 because this is a pro-life diaper company.
00:13:38.560 While other trusted household diaper brands
00:13:41.060 vocally or financially support abortion,
00:13:43.920 Every Life believes that
00:13:45.200 no matter how a baby is conceived
00:13:48.180 or planned or unplanned
00:13:50.620 or regardless of a person's
00:13:53.180 socioeconomic background,
00:13:54.700 that that baby matters.
00:13:56.200 They demonstrate this
00:13:58.440 with how they run their company.
00:13:59.960 They support all parents,
00:14:01.340 adoptive parents or biological parents,
00:14:03.580 making sure that they have
00:14:04.500 everything they need.
00:14:05.900 But they also provide resources
00:14:08.040 to pregnant moms in need
00:14:09.620 through their support
00:14:10.740 of pro-life organizations
00:14:12.100 and pregnancy centers.
00:14:13.500 Plus the diapers that they sell
00:14:15.440 are truly amazing.
00:14:17.340 We use Every Life diapers in our home.
00:14:19.640 I never have to worry about leaks.
00:14:21.960 They really work
00:14:22.720 and they're really high quality ingredients.
00:14:25.340 If you go to EveryLife.com
00:14:27.060 and use code Allie10,
00:14:28.260 you'll get a 10% discount
00:14:30.000 on your order.
00:14:31.260 Everylife.com,
00:14:32.800 code Allie10.
00:14:37.880 This was originally published
00:14:40.140 by ProPublica
00:14:41.480 and here is a summary.
00:14:43.640 In 2022,
00:14:45.000 so that's also very important
00:14:46.480 to note right there.
00:14:47.820 In 2022,
00:14:49.300 why is this just coming out now?
00:14:51.080 Surely it's not only coming out now
00:14:53.680 as a prop for the election, right?
00:14:56.820 That would be a really sad way
00:14:58.540 to use the death of these babies
00:15:00.880 and this mother.
00:15:03.340 But a single mother in Georgia
00:15:05.060 was nine weeks pregnant with twins
00:15:07.000 when she decided to take abortion pills
00:15:09.520 that would end the lives
00:15:10.560 of her two babies.
00:15:12.200 She then became critically ill
00:15:13.880 hours after taking the second pill
00:15:16.080 and was rushed to the hospital.
00:15:17.960 The doctors failed to treat her appropriately
00:15:19.900 and she later died of sepsis.
00:15:22.480 Now,
00:15:22.960 the pro-abortion side
00:15:24.060 is blaming Georgia's abortion ban
00:15:26.080 for the doctor's unwillingness to act
00:15:29.460 and ultimately for her death.
00:15:33.880 So,
00:15:34.400 this woman,
00:15:35.140 Amber Thurman,
00:15:36.300 scheduled a DNC abortion
00:15:38.780 in North Carolina
00:15:40.200 where abortion was still,
00:15:42.820 that form of abortion
00:15:43.840 was still legal at that stage.
00:15:45.480 And about nine weeks along,
00:15:48.500 that can be a pretty typical form of abortion.
00:15:51.700 It stands for dilation and cuterage.
00:15:54.880 And I do think it's important
00:15:55.860 to just explain what's happening there,
00:15:58.500 what happens in that process.
00:15:59.600 This is not hyperbole.
00:16:01.160 You can even go to the Planned Parenthood website
00:16:03.420 and if you can kind of wade through
00:16:04.580 the euphemisms that they use,
00:16:06.980 like contents of pregnancy
00:16:08.320 or contents of conception
00:16:09.780 or products of conception,
00:16:11.380 terminating pregnancy,
00:16:12.280 you will see that they actually do explain
00:16:14.660 what happens in these kinds of abortions.
00:16:18.460 And if you've seen Unplanned,
00:16:21.560 you know exactly how this happens
00:16:23.320 and it's really sad.
00:16:24.440 So, just brace yourself.
00:16:26.060 But there's actually like a vacuum tube
00:16:28.280 that is placed in the cervix of the mother
00:16:30.800 into the uterus
00:16:32.180 to suck these living babies out of the womb.
00:16:36.000 Now, the hope is at that point
00:16:37.520 that those babies are already dead
00:16:39.140 because there's a variety of ways
00:16:41.800 that they try to starve
00:16:43.080 and poison the babies before the D and C,
00:16:46.280 but that is not always the case,
00:16:48.000 as Abby Johnson can tell you,
00:16:49.540 who is a former Planned Parenthood employee.
00:16:52.160 And so, literally with a vacuum,
00:16:54.880 these babies are sucked out.
00:16:57.000 And Abby Johnson has talked about
00:16:58.640 how calloused these doctors were
00:17:01.140 during these abortions,
00:17:02.760 that one of the doctors in the D and C
00:17:05.340 that she witnessed joked
00:17:07.420 as he was sucking out this living baby
00:17:10.920 out of the womb who was kicking
00:17:12.740 and moving its arm,
00:17:13.940 said, beam me up, Scotty,
00:17:15.440 and literally sucked the baby
00:17:17.300 out of the womb.
00:17:18.500 So, this is just a,
00:17:19.520 it's a disgusting, barbaric practice.
00:17:22.560 And so, that's what this woman was seeking
00:17:24.700 for her twin children.
00:17:27.080 But she got stuck in traffic,
00:17:29.200 she missed her appointment,
00:17:30.540 and so, the clinic in North Carolina
00:17:32.920 offered her these two abortion pills
00:17:35.900 that you take one after the other.
00:17:39.060 One actually kills the baby,
00:17:41.220 starves the baby,
00:17:42.320 and then the other makes your uterus contract.
00:17:45.100 And so, the babies,
00:17:46.740 in this case, plural,
00:17:48.400 are expelled from your uterus.
00:17:50.900 And so, from my understanding,
00:17:52.940 without even seeing her,
00:17:54.820 without even doing another ultrasound,
00:17:57.460 confirming how far along she was,
00:17:59.400 this Planned Parenthood just said,
00:18:01.940 yeah, here, take these abortion pills.
00:18:04.420 So, she drove home,
00:18:05.580 she took these abortion pills,
00:18:08.220 and this is approved, by the way,
00:18:10.060 by the FDA.
00:18:11.840 And at first, there was only cramping,
00:18:13.820 which is normal for this two-pill regimen.
00:18:17.300 But days after she took the second pill,
00:18:19.780 the pain increased,
00:18:20.960 and blood was pouring out of her.
00:18:23.860 She knew something was wrong.
00:18:25.600 And so, she went to the doctor where they found,
00:18:31.540 or the emergency room,
00:18:32.780 where they found that her white blood cell count
00:18:34.800 was really high.
00:18:36.200 Her blood pressure was really low.
00:18:39.120 They could tell that there were still baby remnants
00:18:42.520 in her uterus,
00:18:44.020 and that she had an infection.
00:18:47.280 And unfortunately, this happens far too often
00:18:49.740 in these situations.
00:18:51.200 And you'll remember,
00:18:52.340 it is the abortion lobby
00:18:53.740 that has fought tooth and nail
00:18:55.560 against every single Republican legislative attempt
00:18:59.840 to ensure that women are under a doctor's care
00:19:04.340 when they are going through an abortion.
00:19:06.600 So, the abortion lobby can pretend
00:19:09.060 like they are the ones that care about women.
00:19:11.180 They want to make it as easy as possible
00:19:13.600 for women to have an abortion.
00:19:15.320 Mail order, abortion pills,
00:19:17.920 that's something that they fought for.
00:19:19.940 They want it to be possible for women
00:19:22.000 to be able to get an abortion via a midwife
00:19:24.360 or a nurse.
00:19:24.860 It doesn't even have to be an MD.
00:19:27.200 They want it as easy as possible,
00:19:28.600 which, of course, is not good for women either.
00:19:33.600 ProPublica says that instead of performing
00:19:37.340 the ER doctors,
00:19:38.980 the newly criminalized procedure,
00:19:41.360 they're talking about a DNC,
00:19:42.760 they continue to gather information
00:19:44.200 and dispense medicine.
00:19:46.040 The summary shows.
00:19:47.360 And so, what ProPublica is trying to say there
00:19:50.500 is that the DNC was actually outlawed
00:19:54.760 by this Georgia pro-life law.
00:19:56.680 They're very careful not to lay any blame
00:19:58.740 on the doctors
00:19:59.440 because if they laid any blame
00:20:00.960 on the doctors or the hospital,
00:20:02.620 then they would lose their argument.
00:20:04.620 Their argument is that
00:20:05.800 this is the fault of Republicans,
00:20:07.280 this is the fault of Donald Trump,
00:20:08.760 this is the fault of pro-life laws,
00:20:11.560 and their argument is that
00:20:13.500 the hospital was restricted
00:20:15.120 from giving this woman a DNC
00:20:18.360 and taking the baby remnants out of her
00:20:22.280 to save her life.
00:20:24.240 But, of course, that's not true.
00:20:26.440 That's not what the Georgia law says,
00:20:27.860 and we'll get into that
00:20:28.720 a little bit more in a second.
00:20:30.100 But more about her story,
00:20:32.420 they waited and waited
00:20:33.740 to give her antibiotics,
00:20:35.460 and they finally gave her the antibiotics,
00:20:37.820 and then they decided,
00:20:39.720 okay, we're going to do the DNC,
00:20:41.980 and she died on the operating table,
00:20:44.340 and she leaves behind a six-year-old son.
00:20:47.100 The whole thing is tragic.
00:20:52.080 Three lives unnecessarily lost.
00:20:56.500 ProPublica says,
00:20:57.980 the Maternal Mortality Review Committee
00:21:00.000 concluded that there was a good chance
00:21:01.640 providing a DNC earlier
00:21:02.960 could have prevented Thurman's death.
00:21:04.800 Of course.
00:21:05.860 Like, that's the standard of care.
00:21:08.420 It is not clear from the records available
00:21:10.380 why doctors waited to provide a DNC to Thurman.
00:21:13.560 All right.
00:21:14.040 Then that kind of undermines
00:21:15.880 your entire case here, right?
00:21:17.680 It's not like the doctors were like,
00:21:19.020 well, this is illegal.
00:21:20.380 We don't know why.
00:21:21.560 It could have been
00:21:22.180 all kinds of justifications
00:21:24.320 they gave themselves for negligence.
00:21:27.200 But ProPublica,
00:21:28.860 or Publica,
00:21:30.260 I'm not sure which one it is,
00:21:31.680 writes that the lack of medical action
00:21:33.240 was due to the hospital
00:21:34.100 not having a policy guide
00:21:35.460 on how to interpret the state abortion ban,
00:21:37.520 which, again,
00:21:38.080 that's the hospital's fault.
00:21:39.860 That's the hospital's fault,
00:21:41.700 which they claim is difficult to interpret
00:21:43.460 due to vague and conflicting language.
00:21:46.360 Well, we'll verify that
00:21:47.640 in just a second.
00:21:49.800 The article also says
00:21:50.740 Republican officials across the country
00:21:52.140 have largely rejected calls
00:21:54.240 to provide guidance,
00:21:56.880 which, of course, isn't true.
00:21:58.000 So let's look at
00:21:58.980 what the act actually says
00:22:02.060 that they're referring to
00:22:03.120 that they are blaming
00:22:04.620 for Amanda Thurman's death.
00:22:06.300 But first,
00:22:07.320 I want to pause
00:22:08.380 and tell you about a couple things.
00:22:10.820 I want to remind you
00:22:12.400 that Share the Arrows
00:22:13.400 is happening
00:22:13.980 in a little over a week.
00:22:16.800 And as we're talking about,
00:22:18.300 there's a lot of death
00:22:19.200 and destruction
00:22:19.780 and sadness
00:22:20.400 and just a reason for dismay.
00:22:24.140 And I feel,
00:22:25.540 I don't know if you guys feel,
00:22:26.700 apparently you do,
00:22:27.520 because thousands of you
00:22:28.460 are going to be there,
00:22:29.540 but I'm sure the rest of you do too.
00:22:32.640 I just feel this craving
00:22:34.060 to be around like-minded people,
00:22:37.120 to link arms with you,
00:22:38.940 to look around and say,
00:22:40.620 okay, we're on the same page, right?
00:22:42.620 Like, you're with me.
00:22:43.700 You're with me.
00:22:44.440 You got my back.
00:22:45.340 I got your back.
00:22:46.680 Like, I need encouragement.
00:22:48.760 I need to be built up right now
00:22:52.100 with like-minded women.
00:22:54.080 And that's exactly why
00:22:56.020 I am hosting
00:22:58.240 this Share the Arrows conference.
00:23:00.440 And it's next Saturday.
00:23:02.280 It's in Plano, Texas.
00:23:03.640 We do still have seats left.
00:23:05.060 I mean, y'all have completely
00:23:06.620 defied our expectations
00:23:07.980 for the size of this event.
00:23:09.580 We keep on having to open
00:23:10.800 different segments of the sanctuary,
00:23:12.480 but we're so happy to do it.
00:23:14.120 Obviously, women are craving truth.
00:23:16.940 A lot of women's conferences,
00:23:18.540 not all, not all,
00:23:20.300 a lot of women's conferences
00:23:21.620 are just focused on feelings.
00:23:23.920 They're just focused on making women
00:23:25.560 feel better about themselves.
00:23:27.000 And we're told
00:23:28.440 in some kind of Christian ease
00:23:30.620 that you're beautiful
00:23:32.240 and perfect the way you are.
00:23:33.680 And the biggest problem
00:23:34.820 that you have is your low self-esteem.
00:23:36.700 This is not that conference.
00:23:38.820 This is a conference
00:23:39.620 for women who want truth.
00:23:41.280 This is a conference
00:23:42.000 for women who want clarity.
00:23:43.740 This is a conference
00:23:44.460 for women who want
00:23:45.400 to be filled with courage,
00:23:46.720 who want to be challenged
00:23:48.060 by God's word.
00:23:50.940 That's why I have
00:23:51.580 the speakers that I do.
00:23:52.720 I mean, it's got to be
00:23:53.560 like the best lineup ever.
00:23:55.160 Rosaria Butterfield,
00:23:56.200 Elisa Childers,
00:23:57.400 Candice Cameron-Bure,
00:23:58.480 Abby Halberstadt,
00:24:00.280 worship by Francesca Battistelli.
00:24:02.560 Like, I cannot wait
00:24:04.060 to stand with thousands of you
00:24:05.580 at this church
00:24:06.340 and sing
00:24:06.880 This Is My Father's World
00:24:08.200 together, y'all.
00:24:09.860 That's going to be so good.
00:24:11.120 Like, so good for the heart,
00:24:12.400 so good for the soul.
00:24:13.840 And so if you haven't
00:24:14.560 gotten your tickets yet,
00:24:15.800 go to sharethearrows.com.
00:24:17.860 Every seat in the house
00:24:18.960 is a great seat.
00:24:20.320 And so if you'll be sitting
00:24:21.580 in the balcony
00:24:22.140 if you're buying tickets now,
00:24:23.640 I probably will sit
00:24:25.040 in the balcony
00:24:25.540 for a lot of this
00:24:26.420 because I think
00:24:27.580 those are some of the best seats.
00:24:29.520 But also,
00:24:30.240 if you want floor seating,
00:24:31.300 preferred seating,
00:24:31.840 you can get your VIP ticket,
00:24:33.340 your all-access ticket.
00:24:34.920 Of course,
00:24:35.380 you can come backstage
00:24:36.140 if you're all-access
00:24:37.700 and you can get a breakfast
00:24:39.800 with Allie ticket.
00:24:40.960 All of those
00:24:41.580 are still available too.
00:24:43.300 But we do have
00:24:44.480 a limited capacity
00:24:45.560 in the sanctuary.
00:24:47.200 Like, at some point,
00:24:48.200 they're going to be like,
00:24:48.860 no, Allie,
00:24:49.540 we cannot keep doing this.
00:24:51.360 There's no more.
00:24:52.440 And so we don't have
00:24:53.860 that much space left.
00:24:54.840 I want you to get your ticket
00:24:56.000 if you haven't already.
00:24:57.480 Go to sharethearrows.com.
00:24:59.840 You can get your ticket.
00:25:00.840 I am so excited for this.
00:25:04.180 And please,
00:25:04.680 if you're coming
00:25:05.440 or if you're not coming,
00:25:06.700 please just pray for this event.
00:25:08.260 Like, our related bros out there
00:25:09.660 who are not coming
00:25:11.400 to this event,
00:25:12.680 maybe we'll have something
00:25:13.560 for you in the future,
00:25:14.660 but this is just for women.
00:25:17.180 All of you
00:25:18.040 who are attending or not,
00:25:19.700 please pray for this event.
00:25:21.300 I had a friend
00:25:21.940 who reminded me
00:25:22.880 that there are going
00:25:24.260 to be spiritual attacks
00:25:25.380 leading up to this event
00:25:26.480 and during this event.
00:25:27.320 And I'm someone
00:25:27.980 who I can get
00:25:29.300 so caught up
00:25:29.960 in just like the physical
00:25:31.280 and the logistical
00:25:32.420 and planning
00:25:33.340 and all of that
00:25:34.560 that I forget
00:25:36.260 that, oh yeah,
00:25:37.480 Satan hates this conference.
00:25:39.300 Like, Satan hates
00:25:40.580 women hearing truth.
00:25:41.920 He wants women
00:25:42.660 to take the bite
00:25:43.840 of the forbidden fruit.
00:25:45.960 He doesn't want women
00:25:47.740 to hear the gospel
00:25:49.540 and to be equipped.
00:25:50.740 He wants women
00:25:51.460 to keep questioning,
00:25:52.380 did God really say?
00:25:53.460 And so we need your prayers.
00:25:57.660 We need God's favor,
00:25:58.780 his protection,
00:25:59.520 and just pray
00:26:00.400 that God would be glorified.
00:26:02.400 Pray for all
00:26:02.860 the logistical stuff too,
00:26:04.560 but pray that God
00:26:05.340 would be glorified
00:26:06.120 through all of this.
00:26:06.940 And thank you so much
00:26:07.800 to those who have been praying.
00:26:09.880 I really appreciate it.
00:26:11.500 So anyway,
00:26:12.420 if you haven't gotten
00:26:13.080 your tickets yet
00:26:13.760 or your friends
00:26:14.240 haven't gotten
00:26:14.620 your tickets yet,
00:26:15.560 go to sharethearrows.com.
00:26:17.020 You can also see
00:26:17.640 all the FAQs on there
00:26:18.680 if you've got any questions.
00:26:20.300 All right.
00:26:21.300 Before we debunk
00:26:22.460 everything that we
00:26:23.320 just heard about
00:26:24.000 this tragic story
00:26:25.000 of Amber Thurman,
00:26:26.180 let me pause
00:26:26.860 and tell you about
00:26:27.360 our next sponsor
00:26:28.060 for the day
00:26:28.600 and that is
00:26:29.560 Magic Spoon.
00:26:31.380 So I don't know
00:26:32.000 if you caught
00:26:32.520 the episode
00:26:33.360 with Dr. McCary yesterday
00:26:35.380 just talking about
00:26:36.480 what we 90s kids
00:26:37.740 grew up eating
00:26:38.580 for breakfast.
00:26:39.500 Oh my goodness,
00:26:40.820 so much sugar
00:26:42.500 and I'm so glad
00:26:43.400 that we're all coming
00:26:44.140 to a place
00:26:44.620 where we realize,
00:26:45.780 okay,
00:26:46.500 maybe whole foods
00:26:47.900 are really the medicine
00:26:48.940 that we are seeking
00:26:49.940 for our bodies
00:26:51.140 and we're trying
00:26:52.260 to make healthier choices.
00:26:53.720 But if you still love
00:26:54.980 the taste,
00:26:55.640 the nostalgia
00:26:56.200 of awesome cereal
00:26:57.540 and you want
00:26:58.640 that healthier choice,
00:26:59.820 you need to check out
00:27:01.020 Magic Spoon.
00:27:03.080 Magic Spoon

00:27:10.320 of protein.

00:27:12.800 of Magic Spoon cereal
00:27:14.080 has 13 grams

00:27:17.040 and four grams
00:27:18.460 of net carbs.
00:27:19.700 The most popular flavors
00:27:21.240 are fruity
00:27:21.820 and cocoa.
00:27:22.940 I love the cocoa.
00:27:24.460 Mix that with some
00:27:25.180 peanut butter.
00:27:26.120 So good.

00:27:38.100 Magic Spoon,
00:27:38.880 hold on to the dream.
00:27:43.840 So let's look at this law,
00:27:45.720 Georgia's Life Act.
00:27:47.120 The Georgia legislature
00:27:48.080 passed a fetal heartbeat law
00:27:49.720 known as the Life Act.
00:27:51.720 Governor Brian Kemp
00:27:52.720 signed it into law.
00:27:54.720 The Life Act
00:27:55.600 prohibits most abortions
00:27:57.020 once a physician
00:27:57.780 can detect
00:27:58.980 the heartbeat.
00:28:00.840 The law does provide
00:28:02.240 exceptions for abortion
00:28:03.800 in cases of medical emergencies,
00:28:06.120 medically futile pregnancies,
00:28:07.780 so like an ectopic pregnancy,
00:28:09.380 that's where the baby
00:28:10.720 would be growing,
00:28:12.080 for example,
00:28:12.580 in the fallopian tube.
00:28:13.920 That can be deadly
00:28:15.460 for the mother
00:28:16.200 and there's no fixing that.
00:28:17.880 The baby does
00:28:18.740 have to be removed.
00:28:20.800 And also,
00:28:21.800 it does provide
00:28:22.480 exceptions for pregnancies
00:28:24.240 that result
00:28:26.320 from rape
00:28:27.480 or incest.
00:28:29.880 And so I'm not saying
00:28:31.240 that you should agree
00:28:33.780 with all of those exceptions.
00:28:35.460 That's just
00:28:36.540 what the law says.
00:28:38.280 And also,
00:28:38.780 as many
00:28:39.300 OBGYNs
00:28:40.800 have testified
00:28:41.400 even before Congress,
00:28:43.160 when a woman's life
00:28:44.460 is in danger,
00:28:45.380 no matter what point
00:28:47.300 of pregnancy it is,
00:28:49.180 the option
00:28:50.080 to save
00:28:51.520 both
00:28:52.300 or to save
00:28:52.940 as many people
00:28:53.680 as possible
00:28:54.480 is to deliver
00:28:55.820 the child.
00:28:56.700 If the child
00:28:57.700 has to come out
00:28:58.520 anyway,
00:28:59.180 there is no reason
00:29:00.560 for the child
00:29:02.120 to have to die
00:29:03.000 first.
00:29:03.980 We hear a lot
00:29:04.780 justifications
00:29:05.600 for late-term abortion,
00:29:08.200 so like
00:29:08.800 third trimester
00:29:09.700 or post-viability,
00:29:11.300 like after
00:29:11.780 24-week abortions.
00:29:13.300 We hear Kamala Harris
00:29:14.780 even said this
00:29:15.280 on the debate stage.
00:29:16.040 No one is doing that
00:29:17.260 because, you know,
00:29:18.160 they want to.
00:29:19.120 All of a sudden,
00:29:19.580 they decided to.
00:29:20.840 Well, it does happen
00:29:22.360 actually thousands
00:29:23.420 and thousands of times
00:29:24.620 in the United States
00:29:25.660 every year.
00:29:27.840 But also,
00:29:28.960 if a woman's life
00:29:30.600 is at risk
00:29:31.400 after that,
00:29:32.800 there is no reason
00:29:33.500 to kill the child
00:29:34.620 before you deliver
00:29:35.440 the child.
00:29:35.880 You don't have to be
00:29:36.380 a doctor to figure
00:29:37.320 that out.
00:29:37.840 That's just logical.
00:29:38.760 Either way,
00:29:39.260 you're giving birth.
00:29:40.820 Are you going to give
00:29:41.720 birth to a dead baby?
00:29:42.760 Or a living baby?
00:29:44.440 If a woman's health
00:29:46.040 demands that she
00:29:46.820 no longer be pregnant,
00:29:48.000 and there are cases
00:29:48.880 like that,
00:29:49.740 you deliver the baby first.
00:29:51.500 And yes,
00:29:51.880 in some cases,
00:29:52.720 the baby will tragically die.
00:29:55.300 Especially when it's
00:29:57.040 pre-viability,
00:29:58.400 when we're talking
00:29:59.040 about those
00:29:59.620 really preemie babies,
00:30:01.000 like 18 weeks,
00:30:02.480 say for whatever reason,
00:30:04.300 the mother has,
00:30:06.340 I don't know,
00:30:07.160 say it's,
00:30:08.180 her water breaks
00:30:09.340 that early.
00:30:10.320 And there's no way
00:30:13.000 for this baby
00:30:13.540 to survive.
00:30:14.380 This mother is going
00:30:15.240 to die if the baby
00:30:16.040 is not removed.
00:30:16.600 You deliver that baby.
00:30:17.800 You give them
00:30:18.420 the most dignity possible.
00:30:20.140 You don't dismember
00:30:21.300 the baby first.
00:30:23.060 That's never right.
00:30:25.580 And so,
00:30:26.600 that,
00:30:27.240 I don't,
00:30:27.900 I just don't agree
00:30:28.680 with that.
00:30:29.180 You make every effort
00:30:30.740 to save both lives.
00:30:33.140 Yes,
00:30:33.400 the mother's life
00:30:34.000 absolutely matters,
00:30:35.400 but you make
00:30:36.640 every effort
00:30:37.680 to save both.
00:30:39.320 And in a case
00:30:40.160 like ectopic pregnancy
00:30:41.640 where the baby
00:30:43.260 cannot be saved
00:30:44.400 and the mother
00:30:44.940 has to be saved,
00:30:45.740 yes,
00:30:45.960 of course,
00:30:46.460 you save the mother
00:30:47.200 and you remove
00:30:48.000 the baby
00:30:48.820 from the fallopian tube.
00:30:50.580 So,
00:30:51.180 let's look at
00:30:52.420 what this
00:30:53.860 Life Act
00:30:54.660 actually says
00:30:55.600 and how it defines
00:30:56.560 abortion.
00:30:57.320 Does it actually
00:30:58.540 prevent
00:30:59.260 a DNC
00:31:00.260 if a woman
00:31:01.200 has a miscarriage
00:31:02.700 or if she had
00:31:04.000 an induced abortion
00:31:05.480 where the
00:31:06.940 dead baby
00:31:08.180 is still
00:31:08.860 inside her?
00:31:10.520 Here's what
00:31:11.180 the law means
00:31:11.940 and what the law
00:31:12.520 actually prohibits.
00:31:14.560 Abortion,
00:31:15.460 it defines it this way,
00:31:16.880 means the act
00:31:17.600 of using,
00:31:18.500 prescribing,
00:31:19.100 or administering
00:31:20.120 any instrument,
00:31:21.700 substance,
00:31:22.440 device,
00:31:22.980 or other means
00:31:24.100 with the purpose
00:31:24.720 to terminate
00:31:25.600 a pregnancy
00:31:26.500 with knowledge
00:31:27.520 that termination
00:31:28.500 will,
00:31:29.280 with reasonable
00:31:29.820 likelihood,
00:31:30.860 cause the death
00:31:31.700 of an unborn child
00:31:32.820 provided,
00:31:33.620 however,
00:31:34.360 that any such act
00:31:35.440 shall not be
00:31:36.300 considered an abortion
00:31:37.360 if the act
00:31:38.560 is performed
00:31:39.100 with the purpose
00:31:39.740 of A,
00:31:40.720 removing a dead
00:31:42.080 unborn child
00:31:42.980 caused by
00:31:43.600 spontaneous abortion
00:31:44.780 or removing
00:31:46.300 an ectopic
00:31:47.680 pregnancy.
00:31:49.580 So,
00:31:50.280 it is abortion
00:31:51.040 that is prohibited,
00:31:52.300 not miscarriage care.
00:31:53.420 Now,
00:31:53.640 here's what could,
00:31:54.940 what some people
00:31:55.700 could say
00:31:56.420 if I am to give
00:31:57.200 the benefit of the doubt
00:31:58.080 to the other side,
00:31:58.980 which I am
00:31:59.660 hesitant to do
00:32:01.520 because I don't think
00:32:02.480 most people
00:32:03.120 even talking about this
00:32:04.180 have read the law
00:32:05.380 at all,
00:32:06.380 but one could argue
00:32:08.260 that here is the point
00:32:09.380 of confusion.
00:32:11.840 Removing a dead
00:32:12.720 unborn child
00:32:14.360 caused by
00:32:14.880 a spontaneous abortion,
00:32:16.680 so that means
00:32:17.080 miscarriage,
00:32:17.600 I don't even like
00:32:18.100 that language,
00:32:18.720 but by spontaneous
00:32:20.060 abortion or miscarriage.
00:32:21.560 So,
00:32:21.880 I guess the hospital
00:32:22.840 or doctors
00:32:23.400 could have said,
00:32:24.120 well,
00:32:24.320 if we remove
00:32:25.000 a child
00:32:25.620 that was from,
00:32:27.600 that is dead
00:32:28.660 from an induced
00:32:29.540 abortion,
00:32:30.600 is that still
00:32:31.540 legal?
00:32:32.320 But here's why
00:32:33.140 I actually
00:32:33.760 do not think
00:32:35.120 that it is confusing
00:32:36.320 because if you go
00:32:37.320 down a little bit
00:32:38.220 further
00:32:38.580 in the bill,
00:32:40.940 we see
00:32:43.720 that it defines
00:32:45.760 what a medical
00:32:47.280 emergency is
00:32:48.660 and in what cases
00:32:51.680 an abortion,
00:32:53.120 an abortion,
00:32:53.840 so even like
00:32:54.540 an induced abortion
00:32:55.640 is allowed.
00:32:57.200 If you go to
00:32:57.800 section three,
00:32:58.660 number three
00:32:59.620 of this bill,
00:33:01.740 we see here
00:33:02.640 medical emergency,
00:33:04.180 so this is,
00:33:05.460 this is the exception
00:33:07.060 to the no abortion
00:33:08.380 rule in the Georgia law.
00:33:10.040 Medical emergency
00:33:10.940 means a condition
00:33:11.740 in which an abortion
00:33:12.580 is necessary
00:33:13.480 in order to prevent
00:33:14.440 the death
00:33:14.840 of the pregnant woman
00:33:15.620 or the substantial
00:33:16.500 and irreversible
00:33:17.240 physical impairment
00:33:18.160 of a major bodily
00:33:19.520 function of the pregnant woman.
00:33:21.460 No such greater risk
00:33:22.500 shall be deemed to exist
00:33:23.560 if it is based
00:33:24.200 on a diagnosis
00:33:24.880 or claim of a mental
00:33:25.840 or emotional condition
00:33:27.000 of the pregnant woman
00:33:27.760 or that the pregnant woman
00:33:28.960 will purposely engage
00:33:30.140 in conduct
00:33:30.880 which she intends
00:33:32.000 to result in her death
00:33:33.240 or in substantial
00:33:33.920 and irreversible
00:33:34.740 physical impairment
00:33:35.640 of a major bodily function.
00:33:36.960 So a woman
00:33:37.800 can't come in
00:33:38.380 and say,
00:33:38.980 hey,
00:33:39.220 I'm going to harm myself
00:33:40.820 or harm my unborn child
00:33:42.200 unless you give me
00:33:42.980 an abortion.
00:33:43.640 That's not a reason
00:33:44.240 for abortion.
00:33:44.920 Her saying,
00:33:45.900 oh,
00:33:46.220 like I have mental health
00:33:47.500 problems.
00:33:47.880 That's not a reason
00:33:48.460 for abortion.
00:33:49.640 Reason for abortion
00:33:50.640 in the state of Georgia
00:33:51.640 is to save the mother's
00:33:52.880 physical life
00:33:53.620 or to prevent
00:33:54.440 serious physical harm
00:33:55.640 from her.
00:33:56.120 That means
00:33:56.880 that even if the child
00:33:58.620 had been alive
00:33:59.720 in Amber Thurman's womb,
00:34:02.200 she could have legally
00:34:03.160 gotten an abortion
00:34:03.960 at this point
00:34:04.640 in the state of Georgia.
00:34:06.740 So definitely
00:34:08.460 she could have legally
00:34:09.740 gotten a DNC
00:34:13.500 after her baby
00:34:14.200 had died inside her
00:34:15.540 in the state of Georgia.
00:34:16.900 That is completely legal.
00:34:18.680 And it is the hospital's fault
00:34:20.520 if they have not provided
00:34:21.640 guidance to their doctors.
00:34:22.980 It is these doctors
00:34:24.020 and nurses' fault
00:34:25.280 if they did not do
00:34:27.100 what needed to be done.
00:34:28.740 Sadly,
00:34:29.520 but also thankfully,
00:34:30.540 I have talked to many of you
00:34:32.140 who have gone through
00:34:33.540 miscarriages
00:34:34.140 in these states
00:34:36.660 where the pro-life laws
00:34:38.400 have been passed
00:34:39.280 and you have all been able
00:34:41.800 to get the miscarriage care
00:34:43.220 that you needed
00:34:44.440 without a problem.
00:34:46.340 There are pro-life doctors
00:34:47.400 also speaking out
00:34:49.520 about this.
00:34:50.320 This is according
00:34:50.920 to the American Association
00:34:52.620 of Pro-Life Obstetricians
00:34:54.600 and Gynecologists.
00:34:56.520 They say this
00:34:57.620 after they explain
00:34:58.760 the timeline
00:34:59.280 of what happened
00:34:59.940 to Amber Thurman.
00:35:01.040 They say,
00:35:02.020 and this is absolutely true,
00:35:03.320 these drugs,
00:35:04.260 the abortion drugs,
00:35:05.240 were the root cause
00:35:06.820 of the following events.
00:35:09.680 And then they describe
00:35:10.660 exactly what happened
00:35:11.860 with her bleeding,
00:35:12.920 her having to go
00:35:13.660 to the ER.
00:35:15.220 The doctor said
00:35:16.120 that this was her diagnosis,
00:35:17.660 should have been her diagnosis,
00:35:19.220 that they say
00:35:20.080 any first-year resident
00:35:21.260 could have made.
00:35:22.920 Endometritis,
00:35:23.820 due to incomplete abortion
00:35:25.220 with probable sepsis,
00:35:26.780 standard of care
00:35:27.440 for treatment,
00:35:28.180 immediate antibiotics,
00:35:29.620 and DNC.
00:35:31.240 They said that
00:35:32.320 waiting three hours
00:35:33.700 until she started
00:35:34.760 on antibiotics
00:35:35.560 after she presented
00:35:36.600 with these symptoms
00:35:37.780 violates standard of care.
00:35:40.160 They said DNC
00:35:41.120 should have been
00:35:42.360 immediate and concurrent
00:35:43.520 with the initiation
00:35:44.660 of antibiotics
00:35:45.940 and was not prevented
00:35:47.540 by Georgia's law.
00:35:48.720 They also explained
00:35:50.380 the standard of care
00:35:51.960 after Amber continues
00:35:54.980 to show that her infection
00:35:56.440 is not going away
00:35:57.280 with antibiotics.
00:35:58.940 Immediate DNC.
00:36:00.320 Obviously,
00:36:00.940 what they were doing
00:36:01.500 was not working
00:36:02.260 and she's at imminent
00:36:03.200 risk of death.
00:36:04.120 To continue on the same course
00:36:05.380 was negligence,
00:36:06.320 pure and simple.
00:36:08.600 And again,
00:36:09.380 they just go through.
00:36:10.980 At every point
00:36:12.040 where she continues
00:36:13.440 to get worse and worse,
00:36:14.440 they should have done
00:36:15.140 an immediate DNC.
00:36:16.260 There was no reason
00:36:17.680 for them to wait
00:36:19.380 approximately 20 hours
00:36:22.440 when she is on
00:36:23.340 the brink of death.
00:36:24.720 They also say
00:36:25.760 this is one of the most
00:36:26.660 clear-cut cases
00:36:27.640 of medical malpractice
00:36:29.040 based on the information
00:36:30.280 available publicly
00:36:31.160 that we have ever seen.
00:36:32.600 Standard of care
00:36:33.540 on her arrival
00:36:34.260 was an immediate DNC
00:36:35.700 and initiation
00:36:36.360 of antibiotics.
00:36:37.600 Had this been done,
00:36:38.700 she most likely
00:36:39.580 would be alive today.
00:36:42.100 They say her death
00:36:42.940 was due to two things,
00:36:44.140 abortion drugs
00:36:44.920 and lack of appropriate
00:36:46.400 and timely medical care
00:36:47.640 which is perfectly legal
00:36:49.440 in pro-life states
00:36:50.500 and that's true.
00:36:51.520 There is no pro-life law
00:36:53.100 that restricts
00:36:54.460 or prohibits
00:36:55.140 in any way
00:36:55.960 miscarriage care.
00:36:57.500 Wherever that is happening,
00:36:59.380 that is the fault
00:37:00.200 of the hospitals,
00:37:01.320 that is the fault
00:37:01.900 of the doctors.
00:37:02.840 Doctors have always
00:37:03.620 had to navigate
00:37:04.340 abortion law.
00:37:06.360 There have always been
00:37:07.080 abortion laws
00:37:07.700 on the books.
00:37:08.720 They've always had
00:37:09.300 to navigate those
00:37:10.220 at different points
00:37:10.860 of pregnancy.
00:37:11.780 It is a lie
00:37:12.520 that all of a sudden
00:37:13.300 doctors don't know
00:37:13.980 how to do this
00:37:14.540 and I don't want
00:37:15.480 to think that
00:37:16.420 this negligence
00:37:17.240 is purposeful
00:37:17.980 to make a political point.
00:37:19.180 I really pray
00:37:19.920 that that is not the case.
00:37:21.240 I don't think
00:37:21.820 that's the heart
00:37:22.520 of most doctors
00:37:23.420 and nurses
00:37:23.960 but hospitals
00:37:26.560 have got to get it together.
00:37:27.680 It is not the fault
00:37:28.560 of laws protecting
00:37:29.620 babies from being dismembered.
00:37:32.140 It is medical malpractice
00:37:34.080 and in some cases
00:37:34.980 probably political malintent.
00:37:38.840 These pro-life OBGYNs
00:37:40.520 say this complication
00:37:41.300 of abortion drugs
00:37:42.020 is not rare.
00:37:42.680 Retained tissue
00:37:43.880 requiring surgical
00:37:44.860 evacuation occurs
00:37:45.860 in roughly 5%
00:37:46.940 of women
00:37:47.400 who take these drugs
00:37:48.720 at 9 weeks.
00:37:49.500 5% is huge
00:37:51.200 by the way.
00:37:51.620 That sounds small.
00:37:52.580 That is not small
00:37:53.800 when it comes to medicine.
00:37:55.700 Like you know
00:37:56.340 that there are some doctors
00:37:57.200 I've talked about
00:37:57.660 having a VBAC before
00:37:58.640 that's a vaginal birth
00:38:00.220 after C-sections.
00:38:01.620 I had two C-sections
00:38:02.860 and then I had
00:38:03.940 a vaginal birth.
00:38:04.740 There are many doctors
00:38:05.700 who will not do that
00:38:07.260 because of the risk
00:38:08.360 of uterine rupture.
00:38:09.200 The risk of uterine rupture
00:38:11.040 if you have TOLAC
00:38:13.520 which is trial of labor
00:38:14.760 after cesarean
00:38:15.780 is less than 1%.
00:38:19.680 It's like 0.2%.
00:38:21.940 Okay?
00:38:23.060 And for that
00:38:24.260 many doctors
00:38:25.900 will not even try
00:38:27.540 because of course
00:38:28.960 it is catastrophic.
00:38:30.280 That's not
00:38:30.580 I'm not saying
00:38:31.040 that the risk isn't there.
00:38:32.280 It's catastrophic
00:38:33.300 if a uterine rupture
00:38:34.320 does happen
00:38:35.000 but it's extremely rare
00:38:36.800 and still
00:38:37.220 many doctors
00:38:37.960 will not even
00:38:39.160 allow you to try
00:38:41.020 and yet
00:38:41.980 we hear
00:38:42.880 that abortion
00:38:43.660 is safe.
00:38:45.360 You'll even see
00:38:46.060 propaganda hearing
00:38:46.820 that abortion
00:38:47.740 is safer
00:38:48.500 than labor and delivery.
00:38:50.500 Well if you take
00:38:51.540 a medication abortion
00:38:52.540 so that is
00:38:53.200 the abortion procedure
00:38:55.460 for the earliest
00:38:56.820 points of pregnancy
00:38:58.140 roughly 5%
00:39:00.060 of women
00:39:00.980 who take these drugs
00:39:02.600 that early on
00:39:03.520 the first trimester
00:39:04.420 nine weeks
00:39:05.920 have retained
00:39:07.500 tissue
00:39:08.220 that requires
00:39:09.160 a DNC.
00:39:10.000 Retained tissue
00:39:10.540 means baby parts
00:39:11.820 still inside them.
00:39:13.940 By the way
00:39:14.340 in nine weeks
00:39:15.040 like they're sprouting
00:39:15.740 arms and legs
00:39:16.620 okay I've seen
00:39:17.640 my babies
00:39:18.080 on the ultrasound
00:39:18.720 in nine weeks
00:39:19.540 it's not just
00:39:20.380 a glob of tissue
00:39:21.140 you're looking
00:39:21.640 at a tiny human being
00:39:22.760 and that's abortion
00:39:25.020 and if there had been
00:39:27.060 an abortion ban
00:39:28.000 all three of them
00:39:29.540 would still be alive.
00:39:32.420 All right

00:39:39.800 It's sad
00:39:40.260 that we live
00:39:40.660 in a time
00:39:41.020 where we have
00:39:41.400 to worry
00:39:41.760 about debanking
00:39:42.520 we have to worry
00:39:43.480 about your
00:39:44.040 financial institution
00:39:45.100 potentially cutting
00:39:45.900 you off
00:39:46.360 because they don't
00:39:46.980 like the things
00:39:47.520 that you're buying
00:39:48.220 they don't like
00:39:48.900 the things
00:39:49.260 that you're saying
00:39:50.020 we've seen
00:39:51.140 with some
00:39:51.560 financial providers
00:39:52.520 they will
00:39:53.840 inform
00:39:54.740 their customers
00:39:56.060 that they can
00:39:56.920 no longer
00:39:57.420 work with them
00:39:58.140 because of
00:39:58.720 their public
00:39:59.200 persona.
00:39:59.920 How frightening
00:40:00.800 is that?
00:40:01.480 That is not
00:40:02.620 something I want
00:40:03.240 to worry about
00:40:03.900 and I'm sure
00:40:04.460 it's not
00:40:05.000 something you
00:40:05.440 want to worry
00:40:05.780 about either
00:40:06.280 so switch
00:40:07.780 to a financial
00:40:09.000 institution

00:40:48.800 Kamala Harris
00:40:49.400 had to say
00:40:49.940 a young mother
00:40:51.360 from Georgia
00:40:51.860 should be alive
00:40:52.640 today raising

00:40:55.760 attending nursing

00:40:57.820 exactly what we

00:40:59.420 Roe v. Wade
00:41:00.160 was struck down
00:41:00.980 in more than
00:41:01.520 20 states
00:41:02.360 Trump abortion
00:41:03.520 bans prevent

00:41:05.220 providing basic
00:41:07.060 medical care
00:41:08.640 that is malicious
00:41:10.380 disinformation
00:41:12.080 not even
00:41:13.540 misinformation
00:41:14.040 that is malicious
00:41:15.140 disinformation
00:41:17.220 that is not
00:41:18.700 true
00:41:19.060 whenever you see
00:41:20.820 these stories
00:41:21.340 guys
00:41:21.740 these stories
00:41:22.640 of toxic
00:41:23.140 empathy
00:41:23.500 which persuade
00:41:24.880 you to only
00:41:25.780 care about
00:41:27.060 the woman
00:41:27.440 we should care
00:41:28.220 about the woman
00:41:28.920 but to
00:41:30.020 ignore
00:41:30.780 the child
00:41:32.660 that is
00:41:33.060 actually being
00:41:33.900 victimized
00:41:34.760 remember that
00:41:36.940 no pro-life
00:41:38.040 law restricts
00:41:38.840 or prohibits
00:41:39.460 miscarriage
00:41:40.640 care
00:41:40.940 in any way
00:41:42.100 and actually
00:41:42.680 a lot of
00:41:43.200 these pro-life
00:41:43.860 laws
00:41:44.300 to many of
00:41:46.440 our dismay
00:41:47.300 have a lot
00:41:48.160 of exceptions
00:41:48.820 and so it
00:41:50.040 doesn't even
00:41:50.480 follow that
00:41:51.260 the pro-life
00:41:51.920 law is the
00:41:53.240 cause of women
00:41:53.840 not getting
00:41:54.380 miscarriage
00:41:55.060 care
00:41:55.360 this miscarriage
00:41:57.180 care
00:41:57.440 or lack
00:41:57.920 of miscarriage
00:41:58.640 care
00:41:59.100 lie
00:42:00.500 that you
00:42:00.900 are hearing
00:42:01.260 over and
00:42:01.700 over again
00:42:02.260 is how
00:42:02.900 they are
00:42:03.460 getting
00:42:03.920 pro-life
00:42:05.500 Christians
00:42:06.000 to vote
00:42:07.940 Democrat
00:42:08.360 because they
00:42:09.440 are convincing
00:42:09.980 you
00:42:10.480 that look
00:42:11.240 voting
00:42:12.040 for this
00:42:13.440 rabidly
00:42:14.140 pro-abortion
00:42:14.860 politician
00:42:15.460 which is
00:42:16.340 Kamala Harris
00:42:17.200 is not
00:42:19.280 pro-abortion
00:42:19.940 what did she
00:42:21.480 say at the
00:42:21.900 debate
00:42:22.140 you're not
00:42:22.460 compromising
00:42:23.080 your faith
00:42:23.720 you don't
00:42:24.000 have to
00:42:24.300 compromise
00:42:24.700 your sincerely
00:42:25.420 held
00:42:25.860 beliefs
00:42:27.240 to vote
00:42:28.480 for me
00:42:28.860 gosh
00:42:29.160 like how
00:42:29.920 satanic
00:42:30.420 is that
00:42:30.980 satan does
00:42:31.600 describe
00:42:32.120 or disguise
00:42:32.960 himself
00:42:33.360 rather as
00:42:34.140 an angel
00:42:35.240 of light
00:42:35.800 really reminds
00:42:36.820 me of that
00:42:37.240 using just
00:42:38.000 like a
00:42:38.760 biblical
00:42:39.520 sounding
00:42:40.080 words to
00:42:40.820 tell such
00:42:41.500 an ugly
00:42:42.300 murderous
00:42:42.980 lie
00:42:43.380 but the
00:42:45.740 truth is
00:42:46.460 voting
00:42:47.220 for
00:42:48.580 the ability
00:42:49.520 the access
00:42:50.540 to the
00:42:51.140 right to
00:42:51.860 an abortion
00:42:52.400 makes
00:42:53.920 easier
00:42:54.520 the slaughter
00:42:55.580 of unborn
00:42:56.040 children
00:42:56.400 you are
00:42:57.080 saying
00:42:57.380 when you
00:42:57.720 vote
00:42:58.120 for someone
00:42:59.500 like Kamala
00:42:59.940 Harris
00:43:00.320 you are
00:43:00.980 saying
00:43:01.400 that you
00:43:02.460 do not
00:43:02.940 believe
00:43:03.280 that those
00:43:03.900 image bearers
00:43:04.560 inside the
00:43:05.140 womb
00:43:05.360 have the
00:43:06.660 same
00:43:07.180 right to
00:43:07.980 life
00:43:08.220 that you
00:43:08.560 do
00:43:08.820 and I
00:43:10.120 would like
00:43:10.460 for you
00:43:10.820 to logically
00:43:11.420 explain why
00:43:12.220 why is it
00:43:13.580 because they're
00:43:14.000 smaller
00:43:14.420 is it because
00:43:15.700 they're younger
00:43:16.260 is it because
00:43:17.320 they're less
00:43:17.760 sentient
00:43:18.360 is it because
00:43:19.500 they have
00:43:20.180 less of
00:43:22.440 an intellectual
00:43:23.760 capacity
00:43:24.360 is it because
00:43:25.680 they're weaker
00:43:26.140 than you
00:43:26.580 what is it
00:43:28.520 is it because
00:43:29.520 of their
00:43:29.740 location
00:43:30.340 inside the
00:43:31.300 womb
00:43:31.540 are those
00:43:33.240 good
00:43:33.440 justifications
00:43:34.140 for killing
00:43:35.140 someone
00:43:35.620 is it because
00:43:36.940 they're
00:43:37.120 unwanted
00:43:37.540 is it because
00:43:38.120 they might
00:43:38.360 have a hard
00:43:38.760 life
00:43:39.260 again are
00:43:40.700 those
00:43:40.960 justifications
00:43:41.600 for killing
00:43:42.100 people outside
00:43:42.800 the womb
00:43:43.200 if you
00:43:44.480 wouldn't apply
00:43:45.040 those
00:43:45.300 justifications
00:43:46.060 to killing
00:43:47.280 people outside
00:43:48.300 of the womb
00:43:48.800 why do you
00:43:49.540 apply them
00:43:50.160 for people
00:43:51.080 inside the
00:43:51.640 womb
00:43:51.820 and if you
00:43:53.220 believe in
00:43:53.700 abortion
00:43:54.140 through 6
00:43:56.500 weeks
00:43:56.780 9 weeks
00:43:57.320 12 weeks
00:43:58.000 why
00:43:58.480 why not
00:43:59.980 24
00:44:00.460 why not
00:44:01.280 36
00:44:01.680 what's the
00:44:02.960 difference
00:44:03.400 we're all
00:44:04.180 perfectly human
00:44:05.440 from the point
00:44:05.980 of conception
00:44:06.500 onward
00:44:06.900 we've got
00:44:07.200 our own
00:44:07.580 DNA
00:44:07.920 from that
00:44:09.220 point
00:44:09.500 so what's
00:44:10.840 the scientific
00:44:11.620 difference
00:44:12.120 and therefore
00:44:12.480 what's the
00:44:12.900 moral difference
00:44:13.660 between a
00:44:14.420 baby at
00:44:14.800 conception
00:44:15.240 and a
00:44:15.720 baby at
00:44:16.100 40 weeks
00:44:16.680 yes it
00:44:18.540 understandably
00:44:19.140 horrifies us
00:44:19.880 more that
00:44:21.080 babies that
00:44:22.460 late in
00:44:23.360 the game
00:44:23.820 in pregnancy
00:44:25.680 are dismembered
00:44:27.680 that their
00:44:27.960 spinal cords
00:44:28.760 are sliced
00:44:30.020 and then
00:44:31.660 they are
00:44:32.580 delivered
00:44:33.380 dead
00:44:34.420 and limp
00:44:35.260 of course
00:44:35.780 that kind
00:44:36.460 of barbarism
00:44:37.160 and violence
00:44:37.720 is going
00:44:38.260 to disturb
00:44:40.240 us more
00:44:40.880 but the
00:44:41.200 truth is
00:44:41.960 the babies
00:44:42.820 at nine
00:44:43.320 weeks
00:44:43.600 are just
00:44:44.040 as much
00:44:44.400 babies
00:44:44.720 are just
00:44:45.280 as much
00:44:45.700 human
00:44:45.940 beings
00:44:46.280 even if
00:44:46.680 you use
00:44:47.060 embryo
00:44:47.560 even if
00:44:48.000 you say
00:44:48.300 zygote
00:44:48.800 even if
00:44:49.360 you say
00:44:50.160 fetus
00:44:50.540 these are
00:44:50.820 all just
00:44:51.140 stages in
00:44:51.800 human development
00:44:52.500 just like
00:44:53.180 infant or
00:44:53.980 toddler or
00:44:54.580 teenager
00:44:55.020 it doesn't
00:44:56.040 mean that
00:44:56.340 they are
00:44:56.920 less human
00:44:57.900 so if
00:44:59.440 you believe
00:45:00.180 for in
00:45:01.240 the right
00:45:01.720 to abortion
00:45:02.740 explain why
00:45:03.980 you don't
00:45:05.160 believe that
00:45:05.880 these human
00:45:06.420 beings should
00:45:07.020 have the
00:45:07.360 same legal
00:45:08.140 right to
00:45:09.720 live the
00:45:10.680 same legal
00:45:11.080 protections
00:45:11.520 against
00:45:11.920 murder
00:45:12.300 as you
00:45:13.880 and I
00:45:14.180 do
00:45:14.520 explain your
00:45:15.580 position not
00:45:16.080 only logically
00:45:16.640 and scientifically
00:45:17.220 but please
00:45:18.060 biblically
00:45:18.680 because when I
00:45:20.580 read my Bible
00:45:21.260 I read the
00:45:22.140 command against
00:45:22.880 murder
00:45:23.240 I read about
00:45:25.800 the God who
00:45:26.340 created us
00:45:27.100 fearfully and
00:45:27.740 wonderfully in
00:45:28.380 our mother's
00:45:28.880 womb
00:45:29.100 and the truth
00:45:30.840 is is that
00:45:31.780 Kamala Harris
00:45:32.520 and Donald
00:45:34.300 Trump are
00:45:35.420 too pro-choice
00:45:36.540 for my liking
00:45:37.300 I mean Donald
00:45:38.480 Trump has
00:45:39.460 talked about
00:45:40.080 oh maybe a
00:45:40.680 16-week
00:45:41.180 compromise
00:45:41.640 and you
00:45:44.180 know I'm
00:45:44.740 going to be
00:45:45.300 great for
00:45:46.060 women's
00:45:46.720 reproductive
00:45:47.260 health and
00:45:49.180 he kind of
00:45:50.260 flip-flopped on
00:45:51.260 amendment 4 in
00:45:52.180 Florida which
00:45:52.780 would allow
00:45:53.200 abortion through
00:45:53.820 all nine months
00:45:54.480 in the state
00:45:54.860 of Florida
00:45:55.260 but when I
00:45:57.780 look at the
00:45:58.200 two because
00:45:58.700 at the end
00:45:59.420 of the day
00:45:59.800 this election
00:46:00.380 is between
00:46:00.820 two people
00:46:01.340 that's it
00:46:02.460 it's a
00:46:03.080 binary choice
00:46:03.840 and when I
00:46:05.340 look at
00:46:05.620 Donald Trump
00:46:06.280 and I look
00:46:07.180 at Kamala
00:46:07.580 Harris I
00:46:09.800 see a huge
00:46:10.800 difference in
00:46:11.980 how they
00:46:12.960 will treat
00:46:14.160 pro-life
00:46:14.740 policy and
00:46:15.780 pro-lifers
00:46:16.660 when I look
00:46:17.820 at Kamala
00:46:18.260 Harris and I
00:46:19.480 see that as
00:46:20.140 Attorney General
00:46:20.880 of California
00:46:21.600 she went
00:46:22.100 after pro-life
00:46:22.920 reporter David
00:46:23.640 Delighton who
00:46:24.860 reported on the
00:46:25.600 alleged pay for
00:46:26.720 play scheme by
00:46:28.120 Planned Parenthood to
00:46:30.080 take and then
00:46:31.780 sell baby body
00:46:33.200 parts from
00:46:33.960 abortions when
00:46:35.320 I see that she
00:46:36.300 tried to force
00:46:37.120 pro-life pregnancy
00:46:38.020 centers through
00:46:38.680 the FACT Act to
00:46:40.240 advertise for
00:46:41.480 abortion that was
00:46:42.320 overturned by the
00:46:43.180 Supreme Court
00:46:43.720 because it was a
00:46:44.380 violation of the
00:46:45.700 First Amendment
00:46:46.220 when I see that
00:46:47.420 the Harris Biden
00:46:48.620 DOJ has jailed
00:46:50.700 praying pro-lifers
00:46:52.260 pro-life
00:46:53.120 grandmothers who
00:46:55.340 were blocking the
00:46:56.380 entrance to a
00:46:57.400 murder mill
00:46:58.020 Planned Parenthood
00:46:59.360 like they are in
00:47:00.400 prison right now
00:47:01.440 because of the
00:47:03.200 obscure face
00:47:04.440 act peaceful
00:47:05.740 pro-lifers who
00:47:06.780 were trying to
00:47:07.380 prevent murder
00:47:08.100 they are the
00:47:09.160 ones who are
00:47:09.620 going to prison
00:47:10.880 but not the
00:47:11.840 abortionists talk
00:47:13.300 about calling evil
00:47:14.320 good and good
00:47:14.960 evil that is the
00:47:15.900 Harris Biden
00:47:16.620 administration
00:47:18.260 she will do the
00:47:20.440 bidding of
00:47:20.980 Planned Parenthood
00:47:21.760 your First Amendment
00:47:23.440 rights be damned
00:47:24.220 that's who Kamala
00:47:25.780 Harris is
00:47:26.460 she voted against
00:47:28.420 the Born Alive
00:47:29.120 Infant Survivors
00:47:30.040 Protection Act in
00:47:31.100 2019 that did not
00:47:32.800 restrict abortion
00:47:33.540 at all but simply
00:47:34.560 said authored by
00:47:35.680 Ben Sasse that if a
00:47:37.080 baby survives an
00:47:37.960 abortion they have to
00:47:39.540 be given health care
00:47:40.440 she voted no
00:47:41.540 she voted no on
00:47:43.340 that and of course
00:47:44.120 Tim Walls has the
00:47:45.720 same stance that's
00:47:46.500 why at least eight
00:47:47.300 babies at least that
00:47:48.120 we know of have
00:47:49.160 died after botched
00:47:50.220 abortions in the
00:47:50.940 state of Minnesota
00:47:51.600 he said that he was
00:47:53.300 more pro-choice than
00:47:54.800 Nancy Pelosi so that
00:47:56.060 means all in through
00:47:57.180 all nine months for
00:47:58.320 any reason paid for
00:47:59.420 by the taxpayer
00:48:00.300 and then I look at
00:48:02.580 Donald Trump and I
00:48:04.380 wish he wouldn't say
00:48:05.040 the things that he
00:48:05.640 did about abortion
00:48:07.200 I wish he'd be
00:48:08.240 stronger on it I
00:48:09.160 wish he were
00:48:09.520 personally more pro-life
00:48:10.700 but I know for a
00:48:11.840 fact because of some
00:48:14.100 things I I can't say
00:48:16.020 publicly because
00:48:16.860 they're conversations
00:48:17.600 that were not my
00:48:18.320 own conversations
00:48:19.160 but conversations with
00:48:20.720 people who know
00:48:21.400 Donald Trump who I
00:48:22.240 trust very much
00:48:23.780 that Donald Trump
00:48:24.680 can and has
00:48:25.960 been moved on the
00:48:27.360 subject and we saw
00:48:29.400 that with Amendment
00:48:29.880 4 with Florida he
00:48:30.700 said oh you know I
00:48:31.700 don't know about the
00:48:32.380 whole six weeks thing
00:48:33.460 that law is too
00:48:34.800 strict maybe Amendment
00:48:36.000 4 is fine I'm
00:48:37.220 paraphrasing there but
00:48:38.220 it seemed like he was
00:48:38.920 voting in favor of it
00:48:39.900 but then there were a
00:48:41.260 lot of pro-lifers
00:48:42.000 around Donald Trump
00:48:42.880 that's a big difference
00:48:43.780 between Trump and
00:48:44.400 Kamala who said no
00:48:45.300 like let me tell you
00:48:46.780 exactly what this
00:48:47.540 amendment does and he
00:48:48.240 said no I'm voting no
00:48:49.360 on Amendment 4 his
00:48:51.120 mind can be changed
00:48:51.860 you think Kamala
00:48:52.460 Harris's mind can be
00:48:53.340 changed by a pro-lifer
00:48:54.080 should I turn around
00:48:54.980 and throw you in
00:48:55.860 jail I mean Donald
00:48:58.060 Trump did give us the
00:49:00.260 Dobbs decision through
00:49:01.260 his appointment of
00:49:02.460 Supreme Court
00:49:02.980 justices I do believe
00:49:05.420 even though he has
00:49:06.300 said things that I do
00:49:07.100 not like when it
00:49:08.640 comes to pro-life
00:49:09.820 legislation that he
00:49:10.740 will sign that and
00:49:13.140 that he is on the
00:49:14.120 side of life especially
00:49:16.120 when it comes to the
00:49:16.860 rest of his policies
00:49:18.040 economics immigration
00:49:19.400 crime foreign policy I
00:49:22.300 think we're looking at
00:49:23.000 less war and a lot
00:49:24.120 less violence and a
00:49:25.040 lot more peace and
00:49:26.160 order with Donald
00:49:27.080 Trump so I think life
00:49:28.980 in and outside of the
00:49:30.280 womb benefits from a
00:49:31.200 Donald Trump
00:49:31.660 presidency I only see
00:49:33.240 how life in and
00:49:34.040 outside of the womb is
00:49:35.280 harmed by a blood
00:49:36.380 thirsty Kamala Harris
00:49:37.420 presidency yes it's a
00:49:40.040 an election between the
00:49:41.260 lesser of two evils but
00:49:42.280 guess what every
00:49:43.560 election is a choice
00:49:46.120 between the lesser of
00:49:47.020 two evils because we
00:49:47.920 are not voting for a
00:49:48.760 savior we've already got
00:49:49.760 that the best
00:49:51.880 alternative to Kamala
00:49:53.020 Harris is the guy
00:49:53.740 that's on the ticket
00:49:54.400 that's Donald Trump
00:49:55.220 that's how I'm thinking
00:49:56.580 about how I'm voting in
00:49:57.580 this election based on
00:49:59.020 this issue that is so
00:49:59.880 important to me so
00:50:01.720 beware of the toxic
00:50:02.640 empathy that is going
00:50:03.580 to try to get you to
00:50:04.500 downplay Kamala
00:50:06.320 Harris's record and to
00:50:08.840 vote for her out of a
00:50:10.860 false sense of
00:50:11.820 compassion all right
00:50:13.200 a couple more things to
00:50:14.140 say let me tell you
00:50:14.960 about our last sponsor
00:50:15.660 for the day and that is
00:50:17.020 my patriot supply there's
00:50:18.700 a lot going on we
00:50:19.580 don't know how this

00:50:54.040 okay the Pope had
00:50:59.520 something to say about
00:51:01.240 the argument that I just
00:51:02.900 made kind of you know
00:51:05.040 the Pope I'm not
00:51:06.720 Catholic but I have a
00:51:08.760 lot of Catholic friends
00:51:09.660 and there are a lot of
00:51:11.100 Catholics on the
00:51:11.640 conservative side and
00:51:12.680 so I'm always interested
00:51:13.340 in what the Pope says
00:51:14.080 from my understanding
00:51:14.980 saying most of you
00:51:16.280 conservative Catholics
00:51:17.120 out there really do
00:51:18.080 not like the Pope and
00:51:19.320 don't like the things
00:51:20.220 that he says which I
00:51:21.320 as a Protestant see as
00:51:24.100 I mean I don't see it
00:51:25.140 as positive that he is
00:51:26.380 progressive in so many
00:51:27.340 ways but I see it as a
00:51:28.620 positive that there are
00:51:31.220 so many strong Catholics
00:51:32.300 saying yeah what the
00:51:33.660 Pope is saying is just
00:51:35.080 wrong and unbiblical
00:51:36.420 because the like the
00:51:39.280 unconditional fealty to
00:51:41.040 any one person gets us
00:51:42.800 into a lot of messes
00:51:44.120 especially theological
00:51:45.300 messes and so it's
00:51:46.860 good keep questioning
00:51:48.300 keep going back to the
00:51:49.880 truth in scripture and
00:51:51.940 I know that there have
00:51:52.740 been a lot of Popes
00:51:53.900 also especially in
00:51:56.820 recent years maybe not
00:51:57.520 a lot of Popes but
00:51:58.740 Popes in recent years
00:52:00.020 that have written a lot
00:52:01.100 of good stuff that we
00:52:02.680 Protestants have even
00:52:03.660 benefited from like the
00:52:05.140 theology of the body
00:52:06.360 but this Pope is not
00:52:08.140 quite as poignant he is
00:52:09.920 not quite as profound he
00:52:11.040 says things that I think
00:52:12.060 are just downright dumb and
00:52:13.960 here's one of them
00:52:14.600 saw one
00:52:15.080 Ambedue sono contro la
00:52:17.440 vita sia quello che butta
00:52:19.960 via i migranti sia quello
00:52:22.220 che uccide i bambini
00:52:24.580 nella morale politica in
00:52:28.580 genere si dice che non
00:52:31.500 votare è brutto non è buono
00:52:35.140 si deve votare e si deve
00:52:39.540 scegliere il male minore
00:52:42.400 chi è il male minore quella
00:52:46.460 signora o quel signore non so
00:52:49.200 ognuno inconscienza pensi e
00:52:52.020 faccia ok so if you're just
00:52:54.380 listening to this let me kind
00:52:55.660 of just paraphrase what he
00:52:58.040 said you can see the captions
00:53:00.100 on the screen if you're
00:53:01.500 watching on YouTube but he
00:53:03.040 basically said look you're
00:53:04.080 voting between the lesser of
00:53:05.060 two evils you gotta vote ok I
00:53:07.460 agree with that I agree with
00:53:08.460 both of those things but he
00:53:10.340 basically makes the argument
00:53:11.500 that both sides are morally
00:53:12.580 equivalent on one side he
00:53:14.340 says you've got people
00:53:15.120 throwing out migrants which
00:53:16.500 I guess is the Republican
00:53:17.280 side on the other side you've
00:53:18.600 got the pro-abortion side
00:53:20.020 look enforcing your borders is
00:53:22.560 not the same thing as killing
00:53:24.460 an unborn child borders are
00:53:26.240 good walls are good security is
00:53:28.680 good national sovereignty is
00:53:30.040 good protection is good
00:53:31.720 everywhere we see walls
00:53:33.140 mentioned in the Bible they
00:53:35.560 are at least symbols if not
00:53:37.760 literal demonstrations of
00:53:41.300 security and stability and
00:53:43.460 protection for a city even if
00:53:46.320 we look at how Israel was to
00:53:48.260 treat sojourners and foreigners
00:53:49.720 in the Old Testament yes they
00:53:51.640 were to be compassionate towards
00:53:53.660 them but those foreigners were
00:53:55.880 not permitted to illegally come
00:53:58.680 into Israel and to act as a
00:54:03.420 pagan they had to assimilate they
00:54:06.300 had to assimilate to the laws to
00:54:07.920 the regulations and of course
00:54:09.740 that was a theocracy and so even
00:54:12.440 the even the religious practices
00:54:14.920 of Israel and so not that we are
00:54:20.240 applying all Old Testament law to
00:54:23.640 America today because we are not
00:54:25.760 ancient Israel we don't live in a
00:54:27.780 theocracy but if we want to apply
00:54:30.700 the principles of Scripture which I
00:54:32.880 think is a good idea since God
00:54:34.340 made everything and therefore he is
00:54:36.240 in charge of everything to today
00:54:39.060 to understanding how do we think
00:54:41.120 about national sovereignty how do we
00:54:42.820 think about borders how do we think
00:54:44.060 about laws I think we can say sure we
00:54:46.660 can have compassion for the asylum
00:54:49.060 seeker we can have compassion for
00:54:51.160 the person who we can have compassion
00:54:54.260 for anyone whether that person is
00:54:56.020 illegal or legal but that does not
00:54:58.440 mean we have to be okay with the
00:55:00.980 mass importation of unassimilated
00:55:04.980 immigrants we don't have to be okay
00:55:07.580 with that China doesn't have to be
00:55:08.880 okay with that Zimbabwe doesn't have
00:55:10.460 to be okay with that India doesn't
00:55:12.100 have to be okay with that Australia
00:55:13.500 doesn't have to be okay with that
00:55:14.980 God gave us nations and borders for
00:55:18.580 our good God also gave us government
00:55:20.280 for our good Romans 13 the government
00:55:23.300 is meant to be an institution an
00:55:25.900 instrument by God to to punish the
00:55:28.700 evil doer and to reward good laws
00:55:32.780 order are all God's common grace to
00:55:36.960 people and it is chaos it is disorder
00:55:40.120 is lawlessness it is borderlessness that
00:55:43.580 hurts people so much that exacerbates
00:55:46.400 and incentivizes things like drug and
00:55:49.100 gun and human trafficking strong borders
00:55:52.860 strong American borders are good for us
00:55:55.440 they're also good for the world because
00:55:57.860 immigrants are disincentivized from making
00:56:02.840 that dangerous track into our border
00:56:05.940 sometimes at the expense of their lives
00:56:08.800 and also at the expense of the citizens in
00:56:11.900 the countries that they left and so no it's
00:56:16.300 not the same at all immigration policy is
00:56:18.460 good deportation of illegal aliens is good
00:56:21.420 it's an enforcement of the law and that
00:56:23.620 is the punishment for committing the
00:56:25.100 crime of illegally entering our country
00:56:27.360 and so no the Pope does not have
00:56:30.300 discernment there not at all some
00:56:33.400 things he says like people care too
00:56:35.040 much about their pets and not enough
00:56:36.180 about kids he is spot-on when it comes
00:56:38.360 to things like this and when it comes
00:56:40.000 to other theological aspects the other
00:56:41.640 day he said that all roads lead to God
00:56:43.680 false false that's simply not true
00:56:46.800 Jesus said I am the way the truth in
00:56:48.160 the life no one comes to the father
00:56:49.880 except through me if everyone came to God
00:56:54.500 through whatever means why did Jesus die
00:56:57.560 on the cross why did he sacrifice himself
00:56:59.520 for our sins he sacrificed himself so we
00:57:02.640 could be reconciled to a holy God by grace
00:57:04.600 through faith in him so that's like that's
00:57:07.320 gospel okay that's the gospel if you get
00:57:10.520 that wrong if anyone gets that wrong
00:57:12.240 including the Pope that person is not a
00:57:13.940 Christian like that is the fundamental
00:57:16.480 belief of Christianity so I hope and pray
00:57:19.660 that we misunderstood that he misspoke
00:57:23.020 and ultimately that the Pope understands
00:57:27.220 the saving grace of the gospel I think
00:57:28.900 the rest of his like errors political
00:57:31.960 errors would be righted if he would
00:57:35.780 write the fundamental theological wrong
00:57:38.460 that he has about salvation all right
00:57:42.060 that's all we got time for today be back
00:57:44.000 here on Monday
00:57:45.180 you
00:57:45.680 you
