A clip from one of my speeches went viral on X and ignited quite the controversy and
00:00:07.240
argument about what women's role is, not only in the body of Christ, but also in society
00:00:19.940
We've got a professional soccer player who is speaking out in defense of women and girls.
00:00:27.120
We are standing up for her and all women who are speaking up for what is good, right,
00:00:32.560
Today's episode of Relatable is brought to you by our friends at Good Ranchers.
00:00:56.200
I'm recording this on Tuesday before the results of Election Day, and so I can't give
00:01:02.280
my commentary on the results of the New York City election or the Virginia election.
00:01:06.400
I have a feeling that the New York City election did not go a happy way, and we'll see about
00:01:12.900
Virginia and if the people there had any sense not to elect someone who endorsed a guy who
00:01:19.700
supports murdering his political enemies and their children.
00:01:27.740
I'll have more commentary, I'm sure, on social media today.
00:01:31.080
We are going to be talking about a theological topic, and that is women in the church and
00:01:38.440
So, let me set up why we are talking about this today, and it has to do with a controversy
00:01:44.540
that I would call a pretty manufactured controversy.
00:01:47.240
And we're going to talk about this to understand the context of why we're discussing this topic,
00:01:55.380
I hope that this really offers you, yes, clarity, but more than anything, courage.
00:02:00.860
And not only as a Christian woman, but also just in general.
00:02:06.180
This is about not being swayed by people's opinions, whether they are positive or negative.
00:02:11.820
This is about running the race that has been marked out for you by the God who created you
00:02:17.860
and who has filled you with his Holy Spirit and staying steadfast on that path, no matter
00:02:29.460
And if you listen to Monday's episode, you heard me talk about this a little bit, and you
00:02:34.740
might have heard me reference being a bit discouraged on Instagram, and I've got the best audience
00:02:41.280
You guys rushed to pray for me and to edify me, and there were so many notes sent and messages
00:02:50.500
sent that just reminded me not only of how amazing you guys are and the audience that
00:02:56.560
has been built here at Relatable, but also just the truth of God's Word and truly just the
00:03:05.400
But let me tell you a little bit more about this controversy that has lasted over days
00:03:12.980
So, there is a segment of males on the right, presumably the political right, who also profess
00:03:20.160
to be Christians, who have been expressing their utter indignation that I gave a speech
00:03:30.380
And that in that speech, I talked about the dangers of pornography, and maybe some of
00:03:45.240
On social media, it got a million views, and men and women who follow me on Instagram
00:03:55.980
Instead, I was called a feminist, I was called a bad mom, a negligent wife who was trying to
00:04:02.900
I was told that I should only talk to women or that I should not talk at all, that women
00:04:10.680
These are not just, well, they are kind of random accounts, but they're not just accounts
00:04:19.820
They're largely anonymous, but they are part of what I would call a growing segment of online
00:04:25.580
And one day, for those of you, my sweet audience members, a lot of whom are not on X and are
00:04:31.440
just not super online, I am going to like draw out a map.
00:04:37.020
I'm going to like put up a whiteboard, or maybe I'll draw it out, and we'll make a graphic
00:04:40.880
of all of these different segments of the internet, all of the different segments of
00:04:45.960
the right, because I do think there's a lot of confusion.
00:04:48.560
There's like weird crossover with different Israel views.
00:04:53.020
It's all strangely interconnected, and if you're not super inundated in that, which you shouldn't
00:04:59.760
be, then it might be a little bit confusing to try to figure out who these people actually
00:05:10.160
It's newer in that it's kind of been prevalent over the past couple years or so.
00:05:18.500
But this is a big shift from how it used to be.
00:05:22.460
A lot of these people are in the Reformed theology camp.
00:05:27.960
A lot of them are, you know, who they would call trad Catholics.
00:05:31.840
And so it's a lot of like Reformed Presbyterian and Baptist people and a lot of Catholics and
00:05:38.140
a lot of people who just, I mean, by the fruit of what they say are not Christians by any
00:05:43.380
definition, but what they kind of like, I don't know, the Christian aesthetic or the Christian
00:05:48.660
ethos or the authority that they think Christianity gives them.
00:05:52.280
And so they kind of use it as a cudgel against people.
00:05:54.740
And this has certainly changed, I think, in the past few years on the side of conservatism.
00:06:01.220
So as I said last week, I spoke at Turning Point last Monday.
00:06:06.160
This, of course, was supposed to be Charlie's campus tour.
00:06:13.900
And he had texted me in August asking if I could join him on November 3rd in Alabama
00:06:25.740
And so when Turning Point asked if I would instead come to Louisiana State University,
00:06:32.040
And in order to honor Charlie, my speech reflected five of the most controversial truth that Charlie
00:06:40.520
taught the first one and the longest one was that feminism has failed women.
00:06:49.160
It has encouraged things like promiscuity, abortion, putting all of your energy into professions,
00:06:55.640
into plants, into pets, into politics instead of people.
00:06:59.740
And I emphasize that all women in one way or another are called to mother.
00:07:08.740
Women, you were given this unique capacity to create and then sustain life.
00:07:15.100
And for so long, feminism has told us that this is an obstacle, that this actually inhibits
00:07:24.400
And we have to start seeing motherhood and being a wife as the high callings that they are.
00:07:30.660
We have to honor these roles as the high callings that they are.
00:07:35.920
But here's what I want to say, because God doesn't always promise to give any of us exactly
00:07:41.060
What I want to say to you women, that even if you are not a wife or a mom, maybe you will
00:07:48.520
Maybe that's not the road that God has for you, that you are still called to mother.
00:07:56.480
And here's what I mean by that, that every single woman has this amazing, incredible
00:08:01.980
ability to cultivate and to beautify and to nurture and to grow.
00:08:07.460
And that energy is not supposed to be channeled into your profession, into politics, into plants
00:08:14.300
All of those things are meant to be channeled into people.
00:08:18.340
So even if you are not yet a mother, even if motherhood is not in your future channel,
00:08:26.480
all of those unique and womanly capabilities and skills that you have into people, into
00:08:32.660
children, into young women, lead Bible studies, volunteer at church, see how you can serve
00:08:38.700
them, see how you can teach them, see how you can love them, see how you can become even
00:08:47.620
And then the third truth is that merit trumps DEI.
00:08:51.940
The fourth is that America is a Christian nation.
00:08:53.980
And the fifth and most important is that Jesus is the only way to heaven.
00:09:02.720
And I wanted to make this appeal, yes, to honor Charlie's message and mission, but also
00:09:16.240
And you know, Charlie, Charlie was so good at talking about this and so good at talking
00:09:30.380
so courageously and sternly and clearly to the young men.
00:09:34.240
Here's what we know about porn and why it is so detrimental, not only to men, although it
00:09:44.100
It commercializes sex, which is a gift from God for a married couple between one man and
00:10:06.000
It is evil in every way, and it will destroy your life.
00:10:11.180
And this is what I would want to say to men, and I hope that you hear it from strong men
00:10:26.180
And we need those things to be harnessed for good.
00:10:35.400
We need you to bravely stand up for the most vulnerable, to stand up for women and children
00:10:40.820
and for the unborn, to raise a respectful ruckus for the things that matter.
00:10:56.960
We'll get into the online reaction and my response to it in just a second.
00:11:00.560
Let me pause, tell you about our first sponsor for the day, and that is Preborn.
00:11:04.500
Y'all, when you donate to Preborn, you are not just spending your money.
00:11:09.200
You are making an investment in a life, in saving a life.
00:11:14.600
You're actually making an eternal investment, which is just incredible.
00:11:18.420
Every time you donate to Preborn, whether it's $2, whether it's $28, which covers the cost of a
00:11:24.380
life-saving ultrasound, maybe it's way more than that.
00:11:29.520
Whatever you can donate, whatever you invest, that plants a seed that will blossom in this
00:11:36.480
life and the next because you are providing resources to Preborn, that then resources,
00:11:42.060
these pregnancy centers to serve these women, to tell them that they're not alone, to tell
00:11:47.760
them the truth about what's happening inside their womb, to support them, to give them the
00:11:52.860
resources they need to make the life-affirming choice.
00:11:57.960
They are being the hands and feet of Jesus for these babies, for their moms, and for their
00:12:23.820
Okay, so there were a variety of criticisms from those who profess to be Christian conservatives.
00:12:30.920
And I will just say, first of all, before I even list these criticisms, this is not representative
00:12:39.600
It's not representative of the audience in that room.
00:12:42.740
As you could hear, that segment, and you didn't get to listen to the whole segment there, although
00:12:47.440
the whole speech is on my YouTube page and you can watch it for yourself, there was a
00:12:57.180
And I saw a lot of people saying, oh, you know, Allie shouldn't be surprised by this negative
00:13:02.440
Well, there wasn't a negative reaction in person.
00:13:08.140
And again, I think this is instructive for all of us to be able to respond to these.
00:13:23.300
And number four, a violation of biblical commands.
00:13:27.240
And we'll spend the most time responding to that one.
00:13:36.100
And I just want to make sure that I'm understanding here what is being argued, because it's so
00:13:43.460
And whenever I'm talking to someone that I think is arguing from a place of emotion, I
00:13:49.680
And I'm going to bring logic and reasonableness into the conversation, because Christians are
00:13:53.820
called to be reasonable and say, what do you mean by that?
00:14:01.200
Where are you getting, where are you getting that term?
00:14:04.120
Like, okay, if a woman is saying something true in public, did she just do a feminism?
00:14:14.520
It's really important that we get on the same page, because from my understanding, as I talked
00:14:20.800
about, for the longest portion of that speech, feminism might come in many iterations, but
00:14:27.720
what it has convinced women is not just that they can be equal to a man, but that they can
00:14:35.000
And so when a woman is denying her own unique femininity and attempts to be like a man and
00:14:41.920
to be a man and to take the place of a man, that could be argued that that is a conclusion or a fruit of
00:14:48.620
feminism, which, of course, I argued is a failure for women.
00:15:03.420
Women can do everything just as well as a man can.
00:15:11.780
And in fact, you heard in that clip that I said that we need masculinity.
00:15:15.220
One of the most viewed PragerU videos is my PragerU video from 2019.
00:15:22.720
I think it was 2019 or no, this would have been 2018 because this is before I had babies.
00:15:30.160
In 2018, where I debunked this myth of toxic masculinity.
00:15:34.520
And for five minutes, I explain why masculinity is so important and so necessary to a functioning
00:15:42.500
My audience there was a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds.
00:15:46.140
There were some grownups there, some out of college people, but a lot of 19 and 20 year
00:15:53.980
And as I said, I got a very enthusiastic response.
00:15:57.560
There were a lot of young men in this room who were happy to hear an older sister in Christ
00:16:03.040
plead with them in a very respectful and loving and affirming way that you are needed, that
00:16:10.340
your strength is needed, that your leadership is needed.
00:16:12.940
It was not reacted to the way the internet reacted to it at all.
00:16:17.320
Male seminary students and college students, after I was done with my speech, lined up behind
00:16:27.600
It was taken exactly as I intended it as affirmation and as encouragement and a pleading from a female
00:16:38.180
perspective to turn away from the damage of porn.
00:16:40.860
And I got a really sweet post from someone who said, you know, I showed this to my 17 year
00:16:47.680
old son and he had never really seen this or heard this from a female perspective.
00:16:52.540
And it really changed kind of like how he thought about this.
00:16:57.760
And he said that his son shared it with a bunch of his friends.
00:17:01.420
Um, and I think it's super important for men to hear this from other strong men, but it's
00:17:07.220
okay for women to also say, Hey, this is damaging.
00:17:11.960
And like, we really appreciate you as a man and appreciate your strength.
00:17:21.380
Um, so this negative reaction was from a very niche segment of the online male, right?
00:17:28.160
Um, the accusation that I, Allie Beth Stuckey, I'm a feminist is laughable.
00:17:37.100
Those of you who know me, who have been listening to me, who have been reading me for any amount
00:17:41.320
of time, you know, how hard I go against the tenets of feminism against, uh, the gender
00:17:50.060
ideology that I think was born of feminism in many ways actually argue that in this speech
00:17:56.120
that the ideology of feminism led to the idea that a man can become a woman, how hard I go
00:18:02.820
against abortion, how hard I go against every tenant of progressivism and look by the grace
00:18:10.480
There is probably not another Christian woman in the conservative commentary space who has,
00:18:17.900
who has made more of an effort than I have to pull women away from progressivism, to try
00:18:26.780
to change women's minds and hearts when it comes to abortion, to try to change women's
00:18:31.820
minds and hearts when it comes to marriage, when it comes to the reproductive technology
00:18:38.380
industry, when it comes to even changing their mind on things like immigration and crime and
00:18:44.960
the death penalty who have tried, who's tried so hard.
00:18:48.980
And by the grace of God, in many ways, effectively, I mean, maybe there's some people out there whose
00:18:55.300
minds haven't been changed, but the Lord is so kind to show me the messages from people
00:19:00.060
who say, yeah, I was a victim of toxic empathy.
00:19:08.040
I was pro, I was anti-death penalty and all of these things.
00:19:11.240
And I have tried my darndest as a woman in my female capacity from my feminine perspective
00:19:18.020
to write to women for women, to try to pull them away from the trap of progressivism and
00:19:29.600
So to say that I am a feminist who preaches to men really is just laughable.
00:19:35.800
And it just goes to show that people will just lie to just know that, like people will just
00:19:41.460
And I think it was Pastor Todd Wagner who originally said, leadership in any way is a commitment
00:19:49.500
And that is true if you have any kind of audience.
00:19:53.320
There is going to be a level of deliberate misunderstanding and misrepresentation that you
00:20:01.180
don't have to like, but you do just kind of have to realize is going to be there.
00:20:06.400
The second one that I shouldn't preach to men, that I should just focus on women, I mean,
00:20:12.180
I mean, look at the, look at the covers of my books, look at the color of them.
00:20:16.060
Do those look like books that are trying to target a masculine audience?
00:20:20.160
I have been writing to women, for women, talking to women, for women, very intentionally since
00:20:32.140
Like that was, that was the beginning of this for me.
00:20:35.500
Um, this started because I was leading a Bible study of freshman college girls when I was
00:20:48.540
And that was the beginning of course, of that election season started talking about, okay,
00:20:53.520
what does the Bible have to say about abortion and politics and things like that?
00:20:56.720
And I was actually able to persuade one of the girls in my Bible study who believed that
00:21:01.680
she was a Bernie Sanders supporting pro-choice girl, that the Bible doesn't support abortion.
00:21:06.940
And of course today, by the grace of God, she's totally changed her heart and mind on all
00:21:12.880
Uh, but that's where it, that's where it started.
00:21:19.220
Thankful for the husbands too, of the Related Gals in this audience.
00:21:22.620
But this has been an intentional creation of something for women that gives them clarity
00:21:31.880
Um, it, you know, it's funny though, because we just had Share the Arrows and, you know,
00:21:37.580
we had 6,700 women attend our second annual Share the Arrows.
00:21:43.320
And it was a solid biblical conference just for women.
00:21:47.520
And the clips that were circulating of Share the Arrows, the same crowd had the same criticisms
00:21:53.040
that this is somehow feminism and this is somehow wrong.
00:21:56.820
And so the goalposts seem to always move when you're talking exclusively to women.
00:22:01.600
Women shouldn't be talking when you're talking to men and women.
00:22:05.420
Women shouldn't be talking to a mixed crowd at all, even outside of church.
00:22:09.540
And so you just, it just goes to show you cannot live by the crowd.
00:22:19.540
If you do, if you live for people's praise, if you die by people's criticism, like you will
00:22:25.280
not last, not just in the public sphere, but in the faith.
00:22:29.040
Because if you do anything with courage, there are going to be detractors.
00:22:34.440
We've got a couple more things that I want to touch on, but let me pause, tell you about
00:22:37.700
our second sponsor, it's Good Ranchers, Good Ranchers, All-American Meat.
00:22:45.680
Unfortunately, when you go into the grocery store and you see a package of meat and it
00:22:49.900
says made in the USA, that doesn't necessarily mean it's from cattle in the US.
00:22:54.200
This just means that it was packaged in the US.
00:22:58.920
We don't know what the regulations are over there.
00:23:01.420
We can't guarantee the quality, but you know, when you buy your meat from Good Ranchers,
00:23:09.020
And this is an industry that has just been neglected and in some ways negatively targeted
00:23:13.900
by the US government, and they really need our help.
00:23:18.820
And not only are we supporting the American meat industry, these farms and ranches, but
00:23:23.060
we are also supporting a Christian family-owned, America-loving company.
00:23:27.900
When we buy our meat from Good Ranchers, you can subscribe to Good Ranchers.
00:23:32.180
They will send you the box of meat to your front door every month on dry ice.
00:23:37.160
It makes your life so much easier, so much healthier.
00:23:40.180
And again, you're supporting American industry when you do this.
00:23:43.820
Go ahead and get your box of meat in time for Thanksgiving.
00:23:49.240
When you order by December 1st and use my code Allie, you get $100 off total of your first
00:23:55.320
So when you use my code Allie, you get $40 off your first order, then $30 off your second
00:24:08.040
But you have to subscribe by December 1st to claim this deal with my code Allie.
00:24:14.760
Okay, so there's this like weird criticism out there that by me being up at the turning
00:24:26.960
point podium, which I've done many, many times over the past eight years, that I took the
00:24:33.160
place of a man, that that should be a man's job and a man's job only.
00:24:38.320
And there's this idea that this is a zero sum game, that if I have a podcast or am I if
00:24:45.080
I'm asked to speak or if I do the Jubilee debate, then that means that I am taking the
00:24:53.900
And if I am not asked to do those things, then these people would be invited.
00:25:03.480
There's this idea that if I didn't have Relatable, that all of the women who listen to Relatable
00:25:08.600
or all of the women who come to share the arrows would go to their conferences and listen
00:25:15.720
And like, I hope that you would agree with that because men and women are interchangeable,
00:25:20.380
Like men and women bring a unique thing to the table.
00:25:25.380
We can't just be exchanged out like widgets like you agree with that.
00:25:29.320
And if that's the case, then you sitting in this place is not going to do the same.
00:25:39.320
Like if you want to lead, then you should lead.
00:25:41.500
If you want to speak out, then you should speak out.
00:25:44.000
And if you have something to say, then people will listen.
00:25:48.160
And if you are someone that is worth following, then people will follow you.
00:25:52.020
That doesn't mean that everyone with followers are people worth following.
00:25:55.940
Um, but if you have been trying to lead and you've been trying to lend your voice to the
00:26:01.520
public sphere and you feel like, gosh, I'm just not getting the attention or the following
00:26:05.200
that I need, it might not be anyone else's fault.
00:26:08.380
Like we all just have to ask ourselves, like, are we in the lane that God has called us to?
00:26:12.620
Are we using our gifts, our true gifts, the way that God has called us to use them?
00:26:18.560
Like the truth is, is that not everyone, male or female, is made for the public sphere.
00:26:23.620
Not everyone is like we have all different kinds of talents, all different kinds of
00:26:28.260
callings, all different kinds of strengths and, and weaknesses.
00:26:32.380
And even if you believe that men in general are more suited for the public sphere than,
00:26:39.880
And in general, like I, I would probably say that's true.
00:26:43.340
Statistically, I would probably say that's true.
00:26:45.760
That doesn't mean that all men are cut out for it and all women are not cut out for it.
00:26:50.920
Like there is just a level of toughness and reasonableness that I think is required to
00:27:00.800
And like, I think about Jubilee and how thankfully, like the Lord just met me there and the Holy
00:27:08.260
Spirit helped me so much navigate those conversations and how I was able to use, um, actually like my
00:27:16.860
uniqueness as a woman in that very tenuous situation to contend for the faith.
00:27:24.040
I think that that was a huge asset to me, uh, in the moment that I didn't have to abandon
00:27:30.960
my femininity or my gentleness or my friendliness or my womanhood in any way to very effectively
00:27:42.060
And there is this idea, I think by a lot of these people who also criticized my Jubilee
00:27:47.280
performance that, well, you know, she's a woman, so she can't have done as good of a
00:27:53.960
Some man, well, okay, I guess, you know, I won't say anything about that.
00:28:00.060
Maybe you'll get the opportunity to do that one day and you can prove that to everyone.
00:28:05.020
I hope, I hope that for you, um, but a lot of people who fancy themselves good debaters
00:28:14.520
You have to have a lot of self-control and I will just say a lot of people who are in
00:28:18.600
this conversation online don't have a lot of self-control and fall into logical fallacies
00:28:24.380
very easily and fall into emotion driven arguments and project their own offense on what someone
00:28:34.260
is saying extremely easily and male or female, if that is your propensity, you're not cut
00:28:45.940
Now, here's the, here's the most important thing.
00:28:49.240
The most important contention is that, um, me speaking to a group like that at turning
00:28:54.980
point or me speaking at all, because again, I get the same criticism.
00:28:58.480
If I'm even speaking at a women's conference, like share the arrows, um, that this is not
00:29:07.000
No matter who is saying this to you, um, you need to open up your ear to this because
00:29:14.360
when someone quotes scripture, we need to be able to look at the word of God.
00:29:18.920
And even if it rubs you the wrong way, even if you don't want to hear it, even if it makes
00:29:24.780
you feel guilty, we should listen and we should be willing to humble ourselves and say, okay,
00:29:30.700
even if I don't like that person, even if I don't like their tone, even if I don't like
00:29:34.840
what they're saying is what they're saying true.
00:29:36.940
Now that my, the critics in this case did not lend me, uh, that same respect, but I want
00:29:44.860
to do that, not because I care about them, uh, but because I care about the word of God.
00:29:50.040
And so there are a few things, a few scriptures that were kind of lodged when it comes to the
00:29:56.020
One, um, that wives need to submit to their husbands.
00:29:59.100
And that would be a quotation of Ephesians five.
00:30:01.940
We've talked about this passage so much as it comes to marriage and the definition of
00:30:06.720
marriage, but starting with verse 22, wives submit to your own husband as to the Lord
00:30:12.240
for the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church, his body
00:30:20.040
Now, as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.
00:30:26.880
So that's one verse that I've seen that in me doing this is a lack of submission and male
00:30:33.560
And then there's also first Corinthians 14, 34 through 35 quoted.
00:30:38.240
And by the way, they're not usually actually quoting the exact verses.
00:30:41.800
I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here and actually pointing to the scripture.
00:30:46.400
So this is in the context of Paul talking to the church in Corinth about the orderliness
00:30:51.380
He talks about the different ways to prophesy speaking in tongues and all of that.
00:30:59.780
He says, as in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silent in the churches
00:31:03.820
for they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission.
00:31:06.800
As the law also says, if there is anything that they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands
00:31:11.440
at home for it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.
00:31:14.760
Now, even the most conservative and patriarchal church that I know of will allow a woman to
00:31:22.220
sing and will allow a woman to maybe give announcements or to say something pertaining to the children's
00:31:29.080
And so even the most literal interpretation of this, when Paul is saying women should keep
00:31:33.780
silent, is typically interpreted as women should not be teaching in the churches.
00:31:41.380
First Timothy 2.11, let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness.
00:31:47.100
I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man.
00:31:54.120
Again, this is in the context of the local church.
00:31:57.080
And then another criticism is that while women should be keepers of the home and clearly you're
00:32:02.520
on a stage and so you're not following Titus 2.3-8, older women likewise are to be reverent
00:32:09.260
in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine.
00:32:12.400
They are to teach what is good and so train the young women to love their husbands and children
00:32:16.360
to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands that
00:32:24.480
Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled.
00:32:27.460
Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works.
00:32:31.360
And in your teaching, show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned so
00:32:36.460
that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.
00:32:46.800
We see it over and over again that all demographics, that all age groups, that all genders are to
00:32:53.600
Now, I'm not saying the command is the same, doesn't manifest itself the same way for every
00:32:58.540
single group, clearly here, but we see over and over again that self-control is so important
00:33:11.060
They are not to prioritize something, put something first that is not their home.
00:33:17.900
And so, as I have always said, I think there is some work that allows women to do this,
00:33:23.620
and there is some work that does not allow women to do this.
00:33:27.340
There are some jobs that make this flexibility and prioritization possible, and there are some
00:33:36.000
And there are different seasons of life that call for different things for women, and I think
00:33:42.620
I have been extremely consistent on that, and I am so incredibly thankful that I have
00:33:48.860
a job that allows me to have the flexibility that I do.
00:33:53.380
I am so thankful for the setup that we have in our home, and I always hesitate because I
00:33:58.080
don't want it to seem like, well, I have to give an account to these random men on the
00:34:01.660
internet exactly how we run our home and exactly what my schedule is, exactly what my day-to-day
00:34:12.640
But a lot of you know, I've talked about this publicly, that my husband, Chief Related
00:34:22.860
He runs all of the business part of everything.
00:34:26.500
And I'm so thankful that when it comes to this professional sphere, that all I have to
00:34:35.520
All I have to worry about is the content of what I say.
00:34:41.860
I love talking, teaching, communicating with you, mentoring you, talking with you.
00:34:48.060
And he runs and leads and organizes and manages all of the business side of everything we do.
00:35:00.220
My parents and I, we live very close to each other.
00:35:08.760
You know, I'm so private about our family life and for good reason.
00:35:16.920
But just to give you like a little peek, I saw someone criticize the fact that I was at
00:35:22.580
It was actually a blaze colleague, like echoing this, like, oh, well, you know, where are
00:35:28.860
Like, I can just tell you that my husband and I went to Baton Rouge there and back same
00:35:33.520
evening while my kids spent a few hours with my parents.
00:35:40.120
We make a lot of sacrifices to make sure that our kids are as involved as possible.
00:35:45.820
We, my husband and I saw someone else say, oh, she must never spend time with her husband,
00:35:49.660
which actually made me laugh out loud because my husband and I spend a ridiculous amount
00:35:59.200
We are together all the time and we do everything possible to involve our kids in everything
00:36:05.520
For example, a couple of weeks ago, we went to Michigan again, there and back very quick,
00:36:13.540
And we brought our six-year-old and it was like such a great time.
00:36:16.980
In California, the Lord lined it up to where we had all of these different business engagements
00:36:21.560
and speaking engagements and we didn't go there and back and leave our kids every time we had
00:36:28.060
We instead made it a two and a half week trip where we brought our entire family.
00:36:48.260
I am not in any spiritual obligation to any random man on the internet.
00:36:54.640
Um, and so all of these biblical commands that are so important that we should adhere to by
00:37:03.020
the grace of God, like we as a family are doing our very best as imperfect people, but
00:37:11.880
And like, I appreciate the concern random men on the internet.
00:37:22.200
Like we're good and we're following God's calling on our life and we're doing it again
00:37:30.720
Um, and all of us, every one of us, male and female are called to make disciples, to make
00:37:38.760
And again, that might look different for men and for women, but every single one of us are
00:37:46.280
And I'm very, very thankful for the disciples, the many women, female disciples.
00:37:52.200
Um, that God has created through the vessel of relatable and share the arrows.
00:38:00.960
The fruit of that is very evident and the Lord consistently reminds me of the fruit of
00:38:07.020
And so I know a lot of you get worried about me feeling down or getting discouraged.
00:38:12.180
And I appreciate you always trying to buoy me and pray for me, but honestly, like your
00:38:17.200
testimonies and how you tell me you were affected by a guest or a line or whatever it
00:38:22.780
was like the Lord uses that as fuel to keep me going.
00:38:30.120
Um, but again, we're doing this for the glory of God.
00:38:33.500
I'm doing this for building up the body of Christ.
00:38:36.220
I'm not doing this for the opinion, the good opinion or bad opinion of anyone, because that
00:38:44.780
We've got a little bit more about what the Bible has to say about all of this, but let
00:38:50.800
Jace Medical is the emergency medical kit that you need.
00:38:55.100
This is the solution to a lot of the fears that you might have.
00:39:01.640
What if something goes on and you can't get the medication you need, whether it's a prescription
00:39:06.160
that you rely on or your kids rely on, or whether it's an antibiotic that you might need
00:39:12.180
in case of an infection, you need to make sure that you've got an emergency stash of these
00:39:22.340
They'll take you through a confidential telemedicine process.
00:39:25.600
You can get a Jace case and not just an emergency stash of the medication.
00:39:30.580
Um, that you might need like antibiotics, but also you can get a Jace daily case.
00:39:35.900
That's a year long supply of the prescriptions that you and your family rely on.
00:39:41.760
You don't want to get in a situation where you don't have the medication that you need.
00:39:49.920
You'll notice that I didn't actually show you any of the posts that were kind of stirring
00:40:01.720
And it really just happens like whenever there's a clip of me going around it all, it's become
00:40:12.820
A lot of people have ABS derangement syndrome and it's, it is weird to see like your name
00:40:20.160
become something that people know generates clicks.
00:40:24.540
And I will say, like, can I just have a moment of humility and self-reflection?
00:40:29.700
Like it has made me think about how I discuss people's moments.
00:40:37.440
Like when they say something that people are deeming controversial and I chime in on that.
00:40:49.680
Yes, of course, if a false teacher is preaching a false gospel, I will call them a false teacher.
00:40:53.980
We have a lot of biblical examples of the importance of doing that.
00:40:58.020
But I'm not going to go into someone's personal life.
00:41:00.860
I'm not going to, I just don't, uh, don't do that.
00:41:04.500
But I, like, I will publicly disagree with someone.
00:41:07.780
Again, I think there's a lot of biblical precedent for that.
00:41:10.340
I think that we can contend with someone's argument and like their biblical take on something.
00:41:15.600
I've done that many times, but it has made me think a little bit more.
00:41:19.400
And I just wonder if the Lord is using this to like teach me in some way.
00:41:23.620
And so I do, I just want to like remain open and humble to what the Lord might be showing me.
00:41:30.160
And even though I think the critics, many of them are acting totally in, in bad faith and
00:41:35.400
are just like wrong biblically, like we should remain open to what the Lord might be teaching
00:41:41.520
Like in any given moment, we should pay attention to those convictions.
00:41:44.900
And when you start thinking, huh, this doesn't feel good.
00:41:57.620
I hope that I've done this in like a biblically accurate way, but it just makes you think,
00:42:03.480
okay, now I, like I can see from this perspective, I see it a little bit differently now.
00:42:08.900
And I want to be even more careful in the future, like how I talk about people and how I talk about
00:42:18.360
And you guys who have been following me know that I try really, really hard to be as respectful
00:42:22.920
and accurate as possible, but I'm sure I haven't always gotten it right.
00:42:26.540
Um, and so it's just made me say, huh, I want to be even more cautious about this because
00:42:31.800
I see how like discouraging and difficult it must be.
00:42:35.460
And when people just lie about you and they misrepresent you or people latch onto a lie,
00:42:40.960
I've had multiple people reach out to me and apologize because they're like, oh, I believe
00:42:45.280
this misrepresentation of you or your marriage or your home or, or your business or whatever.
00:42:51.780
And I just want to like apologize for believing that first of all, don't reach out to me and
00:42:56.800
tell me that like, that's just an inside thought.
00:42:58.940
I don't need to know that you believe that lie about me, but that can be super frustrating.
00:43:03.220
And so we should all just be super cautious about what we are repeating, what we're saying
00:43:10.080
and what the motivations behind what we are saying.
00:43:13.120
Are we correcting someone because we want to build up the body of Christ and because the
00:43:17.600
truth really matters and we're hoping to rebuke and edify in a biblical way, or are we just
00:43:23.020
doing something because it's generating clicks because it's a controversy.
00:43:27.220
And I do want us to remember again, that all of us are called to self-control and all of
00:43:34.280
us are called to pay close attention to our speech.
00:43:37.780
This segment of the male right, again, a lot of them, I don't actually think are believers,
00:43:55.340
They are very degrading, very rude to women across the board.
00:44:01.160
And guys, if you're listening to this, I'm going to tell you what I tell my female audience,
00:44:12.420
If something doesn't describe you, then it's not about you.
00:44:15.100
If you are the anomaly or you are the exception, you don't have to tell me.
00:44:22.000
But if I'm not talking about you when I'm describing this, if you feel like you had a
00:44:27.200
very legitimate concern that you raised in a very kind way, then I'm not talking about
00:44:31.560
But a lot of these people in this segment of the so-called right are just very rude and very
00:44:37.000
crass, very degenerate, very depraved, and very, very calloused.
00:44:42.860
And I just want to remind us of what the Bible has to say for all of us, regardless of our
00:44:50.880
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
00:44:56.200
Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
00:45:01.500
nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the
00:45:09.360
You're going to go to hell if you're a reviler?
00:45:13.720
Someone who is taken to fits of anger, who slanders.
00:45:16.500
So that means saying something negative about someone that is not true, a gossip, someone
00:45:22.780
who uses words, especially untrue words, to maliciously hurt someone's character.
00:45:31.640
This is someone who misrepresents someone to try to tear down their character.
00:45:40.860
We consistently see homosexuality and sexual immorality in the same list as slander and
00:45:55.960
Romans 1, 28 through 32, talking about people who were given to homosexuality, goes on to
00:46:02.640
say in verse 29, they were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil covetousness,
00:46:07.120
wanting what someone else has, malice, full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness,
00:46:13.040
gossip, slanders, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient
00:46:18.180
to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
00:46:21.420
Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die,
00:46:25.300
they not only do them, but give approval to those who practice them.
00:46:28.980
And I think of a lot of the excuse making of extremely crass people from this segment of
00:46:35.720
the right, a lot of these people will hail and honor people like Nick Fuentes, who of
00:46:40.980
course is extremely haughty and reviles and is crass and is crude and is brutal and is
00:46:55.520
All of these people, all of these characteristics that are listed in this segment.
00:47:00.620
And so they will give approval to those who practice these things.
00:47:04.060
And this description here in Romans 1 are describing people who have been given over to the depravity
00:47:10.360
They're actually put in the same category as people who are homosexual, who are practicing
00:47:16.600
homosexuality, the same kind of depravity of mind.
00:47:20.660
And, you know, I made this point that Rosaria Butterfield made so good that you are not going
00:47:25.160
to win people over to the gospel by affirming the very sins that Christ died for.
00:47:31.500
And there's this idea in this segment that if you kind of match their tone and you match
00:47:36.120
their words and you match their strategies, well, then these young men will become Christians.
00:47:41.800
Well, just as you can't affirm homosexuality and affirm LGBTQ ideology in the hopes that you're
00:47:49.380
going to win people over to Christ, you're also not going to affirm slander and crassness
00:47:55.140
and crudeness and brutality and win people over to the cross of Christ.
00:48:04.640
Second Timothy 3, 1 through 5 says that in the last days there will come times of difficulty
00:48:10.060
for people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient
00:48:14.760
to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control,
00:48:19.980
brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure.
00:48:24.060
Rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power, avoid such
00:48:38.200
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
00:48:42.920
Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you along
00:48:48.260
Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another as God in Christ forgave
00:48:54.780
Remember that gentleness is a fruit of the Spirit that is applied to all of us, that should
00:49:00.940
Self-control is a fruit of the Spirit that is for all of us.
00:49:06.200
A gentle and quiet spirit is something that women are told that we should have in Scripture,
00:49:14.420
That does not mean that we have no role to play in pushing back against darkness.
00:49:18.900
And yes, of course, that high calling of being a wife and a mother, doing the next right
00:49:27.820
Like doing the thing with our home, with our children.
00:49:30.900
But there are times, as we see throughout Scripture, that women are also called to raise a voice
00:49:37.500
and to be a bastion and refuge of clarity and courage.
00:49:41.680
And remember, gentle and quiet is not just something that is applied to women.
00:49:47.260
Gentleness is a fruit of the Spirit for everyone.
00:49:51.960
There are some takeaways here, and we'll get to that in just a second.
00:49:54.740
Let me tell you about our second to last sponsor for the day, and that is Fellowship Home
00:49:59.360
If you are looking to buy a new home, if you are looking to refinance your home, then
00:50:03.360
you need to call my friends Mike and Brian at Fellowship Home Loans.
00:50:06.840
They do their business not just by the book, but by the book.
00:50:12.100
They care about biblical values like integrity and honesty and hard work.
00:50:17.180
And honestly, when you're making one of these huge financial decisions, you want to work
00:50:21.220
with people that you can really trust, and you can trust the people at Fellowship Home Loans.
00:50:27.680
There's a saying that they love over there, because if the right home is in front of you,
00:50:36.760
You might just want to do what it takes right now to get in the home that you and your family
00:50:45.680
You'll get a $500 credit at closing when you use my link.
00:50:53.440
Nationwide Mortgage Bankers, DBA Fellowship Home Loans, Equal Housing Lender, NMLS number
00:51:05.420
Okay, so there's a few things that I want to say.
00:51:09.860
Number one, women, even in all of this, even if you're discouraged by this, some of you
00:51:15.280
may have been the target of their ire on social media.
00:51:22.380
Do not run into the arms of feminism because there are some men who have made you mad.
00:51:29.260
Some people on the left say, oh, ABS, she's getting a taste of her own medicine.
00:51:35.020
Now she's going to see that conservatism is bad.
00:51:37.760
Now she's going to see that the Southern Baptist Convention is bad, or being a Baptist,
00:51:44.100
or being traditional, or whatever, that she's never going to be good enough.
00:51:47.720
Oh, you were under the impression that I was doing this for their approval?
00:51:54.640
And I don't have my theology because I think it's going to get me likes.
00:51:59.580
I don't believe the things I do because it's popular.
00:52:02.680
If I wanted to be popular, I would not be a reformed Christian.
00:52:12.640
Like I have very narrow beliefs and I am an anchor on the right, getting more and more people
00:52:19.300
to come to what I believe is a biblical position on politics and culture.
00:52:28.160
I say these things because I believe that they are right.
00:52:32.760
And I'm doing my very best as a fallible person to follow the word of God.
00:52:42.380
I've seen this happen so much with people who are deconstructing.
00:52:49.160
Maybe people in their theological camp hurt them.
00:52:51.660
They didn't like what was going on in their local church.
00:52:53.700
Or maybe it was a professor who failed them or a pastor who failed them.
00:53:01.560
And while I understand that, because you're thinking, wow, if this is the fruit of that
00:53:05.940
belief system, then maybe it's not good at all.
00:53:07.940
I actually think that's a fair thing to say and to make an assessment.
00:53:11.800
You should look at the fruit of your belief system and the fruit of your doctrines.
00:53:15.380
And that should make you go back to the word of God and say, okay, hang on.
00:53:21.520
But the most important thing I said there is go back to the word of God.
00:53:24.140
If you are looking at someone who shares beliefs that you do, someone in your church, someone
00:53:28.800
in your theological or political camp, and you say, that fruit is rotten, that fruit
00:53:32.500
is nasty, and their ministry is on a bad path, before you say, I'm out, and I don't want
00:53:40.160
to be affiliated with what they believe, so I don't believe it either, before you say
00:53:43.700
that, go to the word of God and say, okay, God, what do you say?
00:53:56.040
You go to the word of God, and you say, Lord, give me the wisdom.
00:54:03.140
And as long as you are following in God's word, you do not judge your effectiveness.
00:54:10.060
We don't judge our effectiveness or our faithfulness by people's approval or disapproval
00:54:14.940
of us, by people's reaction to us, whether they are on the left or the right.
00:54:19.260
We judge our faithfulness by our alignment to God's word.
00:54:24.600
And thankfully, God, if you are a Christian, has already stamped you approved and righteous
00:54:29.940
before him, not because of anything you've done, not because of anything you say, but
00:54:35.380
because of what Christ has done for you on the cross.
00:54:38.480
He has wiped your slate clean and covered you with his blood and given you his righteousness.
00:54:45.080
But as we are being sanctified and as we are trying to walk in his ways, we look to his
00:54:57.060
OK, so don't run into the arms of people who are flattering you and who are telling you
00:55:03.960
nice things and who are saying, oh, maybe progressivism is right.
00:55:13.300
When he puts that wedge between when Satan puts that wedge between Eve and God by saying,
00:55:21.800
but, you know, she saw that the fruit looked good.
00:55:33.940
And if you feel yourself asking that or wondering that right now, don't run to the doubts.
00:55:43.200
You want to starve your doubts with faith and knowledge from the word of God.
00:55:47.440
If you live by the crowd, you will die by the crowd.
00:55:50.520
If you are motivated by, if your race is marked by what people think of you,
00:55:59.600
If you are motivated by your own self-love, if you're motivated by others' approval of you,
00:56:04.740
by them cheering you on, then one day when all of that changes, when you say the wrong thing,
00:56:12.820
when you make the wrong person mad, you are going to stop.
00:56:17.140
But if you are running the race that is marked out for you, the calling that God has placed
00:56:21.420
on your life, even if you get discouraged sometimes,
00:56:24.860
the Holy Spirit will give you the perseverance and endurance to keep going.
00:56:30.920
And the last thing I just want to say here is that women, like you are essential to the church.
00:56:45.080
Our innate worth, which is so much better than feminism, is in the Imago Dei, that we are made
00:56:51.420
in God's image, that we have equal value, that we have equal worth.
00:56:58.260
That is the radical part of Christianity, that Jesus attends to the needs and recognizes the
00:57:06.860
dignity of women, not from a place of feminism, but from a place of love, from recognizing the beauty
00:57:19.140
And you know, the Bible, of course, written in a largely patriarchal society, and I'm certainly
00:57:25.580
not someone who is like, wants to buck against that.
00:57:29.280
I think patriarchy can be done in like a very beautiful way, should be done, and a very like
00:57:38.300
But even amidst that backdrop, the writers of the Bible, inspired by the Holy Spirit,
00:57:45.120
all of the people who were led by the Holy Spirit to compile the 66 books of the Bible,
00:57:50.580
purposely included, these courageous stories of women obeying God at whatever cost, and God
00:57:58.100
accomplishing His will through Esther, and through Ruth, and through Deborah, and through Abigail,
00:58:03.700
and through Lydia, and through Jael, and through Rahab, and through Mary, and through Martha,
00:58:13.080
They speak to women's unique value to the kingdom.
00:58:16.380
That doesn't mean that women have the same role as men.
00:58:24.860
I don't think they should be preaching at church from a pulpit to a mixed crowd.
00:58:30.700
I don't think they need to be preaching on Sunday morning.
00:58:34.000
Like I am, like you guys don't even know how like hardline I am on that, and how many
00:58:39.560
opportunities I have turned down, and how many, like so, so many opportunities I have
00:58:46.940
turned down because of that, because of that stance, because I believe it's biblical, and
00:58:55.480
Um, and so we just have to make sure that our faithfulness is to what the word of God
00:59:02.900
says, and what he says about women, and how he uses women, that we are abiding by Titus
00:59:09.340
too, that we are ensuring that we are aligning with God's word and all of these things.
00:59:14.380
And women, that doesn't exclude you from every sphere.
00:59:25.800
Um, and while also acknowledging that motherhood and being a wife, like is an extremely high
00:59:31.760
You've heard me say that about a bajillion times as a big focus of this podcast and how
00:59:37.440
important that is and like why the culture wars actually matter to motherhood and all of
00:59:42.660
And, um, I just want to like encourage you and comfort you, um, also, because I know a
00:59:52.740
Don't, don't stop just because of these misguided people.
00:59:55.740
And as long as the Lord calls me to this, as long as he gives me the grace to do this,
01:00:01.380
and I am able to do this and prioritize my children and my husband, I will continue to do this.
01:00:08.640
I don't know what every season is going to look like, but he has given me so much grace
01:00:12.320
and so much provision in this moment, um, that I, he has allowed me to continue and I
01:00:25.420
I should have said this earlier, but you've got all these people who are surmising about
01:00:29.660
money and all of this stuff, because that's totally healthy to be like counting the pennies
01:00:36.340
Um, that turning point of it, I, a lot of people are saying, oh, she got paid.
01:00:47.400
Um, but the turning point one was, that was a gift for Charlie.
01:00:52.720
Um, so again, that's just an example of like, what people say online is not, they don't know.
01:01:05.160
So you just stay the course, woman, you stay the course and you run the race that Jesus
01:01:16.460
You submit to your own husband and your own church leadership.
01:01:21.660
You take the wisdom of the elders and the wise and godly people in your life and do not
01:01:28.020
be persuaded or dissuaded by the just empty chatter of people online.
01:01:37.400
Let me tell you about our last sponsor for the day.
01:01:42.620

01:02:51.440
All investing involves risk, including the risk of loss.
01:02:54.440
This is a paid endorsement, and I am not a client of the firm.
01:02:57.180
All right, I've just got one more quick thing to talk about.
01:03:05.660
But first, I want to give a shout out to Mike Winger.
01:03:19.000
What should that look like practically, and what does the Bible have to say about that?
01:03:27.820
But I want to end this episode with a call to share the arrows, okay?
01:03:31.480
We got to share the arrows with a sister in Christ.
01:03:35.660
She is a soccer player, a professional soccer player for Angel City FC.
01:03:42.040
And she wrote the op-ed, this op-ed in the New York Post, arguing that only women should
01:03:49.680
be playing in the National Women's Soccer League.
01:03:54.400
Her teammates then publicly criticized her, calling her a racist and calling her transphobic,
01:04:01.880
So here's what she had to say that was apparently so controversial in her op-ed.
01:04:07.500
She said, I'm concerned that without clarity about who the league is for, it will lose
01:04:15.340
She proposed specific testing methods to verify players' eligibility, writing, the NWSL,
01:04:22.040
National Women's Soccer League, must adopt a clear standard.
01:04:25.380
She said that maybe a standard should be all players must be born with ovaries, as another
01:04:32.760
Another option Eddy mentioned was an SRY gene test, like those world athletics and world
01:04:41.360
Eddy cited the NIH, that's the National Institutes of Health, showing measurable differences between
01:04:46.400
men and women in muscle mass, bone density, and cardiovascular capacity, which directly
01:04:54.760
We've talked about that Duke University study over and over again since 2012 that showed the
01:05:00.260
gap in performance between elite female athletes like Tori Bowie and high school male athletes,
01:05:06.880
that the high school male track athletes beat the world record of the Olympian track athlete
01:05:19.200
That is the difference between male and female because they concluded of one difference, one
01:05:26.080
thing that makes all the difference in athletic performance, and that is the existence of
01:05:32.400
I bet you didn't think we would say that word today on the show, but that's what they said.
01:05:36.420
The production of testosterone is what makes the difference in not only in puberty, but also
01:05:44.140
So their bone density, their muscle mass, their aerobic and anaerobic capacity, even if they
01:05:51.640
go on cross-sex hormones, it is insurmountable.
01:05:58.740
And so she is speaking the scientific truth about this in an op-ed.
01:06:03.880
Like she didn't even bring up any ideological argument.
01:06:11.980
So good for her, and here is what her own teammates had to say.
01:06:16.840
We've all obviously seen the article that was written in the New York Post earlier this
01:06:21.680
week, so I really want to start off by saying that that article does not speak for this team
01:06:29.080
I've had a lot of combos with my teammates in the past few days, and they are hurt, and
01:06:35.960
they are harmed by the article, and also they are disgusted by some of the things that
01:06:40.400
were said in the article, and it's really important for me to say that.
01:06:44.140
And we don't agree with the things written for a plethora of reasons, but mostly the
01:06:49.880
undertones come across as transphobic and racist as well.
01:06:53.480
The article calls for genetic testing on certain players, and it has a photo of an African player
01:07:00.100
as a headline, and that's very harmful, and to me it's inherently racist because to single
01:07:05.440
out this community based on them looking or being different is absolutely a problem.
01:07:15.460
I just cannot racist because they dared use a picture of a black woman.
01:07:22.920
I can't speak for this sweet soccer player who probably didn't want this controversy, and
01:07:28.500
let me just say before I say what I'm about to say, Elizabeth, like, go to her Instagram.
01:07:33.780
Well, I probably don't anymore, but I did yesterday.
01:07:35.760
Okay, Elizabeth, Eddie, go to her Instagram, comment nice things, send her a message, pray
01:07:46.340
Yeah, whatever arrows you're sending towards her, you can send them my way too.
01:07:57.460
And thousands of us stand up and say, you know, you're not alone.
01:08:04.120
I'm going to absorb some of this blow too, because that is treating other people how
01:08:10.220
This sister in Christ stood up for what is good, right, and true, and protection of women
01:08:14.000
and girls, and she is getting blasted for it in the comments.
01:08:19.260
She's being called things that are just not true.
01:08:21.020
They are maligning her character because she spoke to what is biologically a fact.
01:08:32.340
It doesn't matter whether you agree with it or not.
01:08:34.880
Okay, I'm going to try to, I'm trying to be nice here.
01:08:38.460
I'm trying to be nice because I just don't want, I don't want anything that I have to
01:08:47.680
But I have some not nice things to say to that woman who was just speaking.
01:09:03.680
You're selfish because you've already made your way in soccer and you don't care about
01:09:08.540
the teenage girls that are coming up behind you that won't get the scholarship and won't
01:09:12.720
get the opportunity because a man is taking their place.
01:09:18.020
And Elizabeth is the opposite of that and good for her.
01:09:20.980
And she deserves all of our applause and she deserves our support.
