00:01:06.400
Also, speaking of dividing Christians, we've got a Trump Truth Social post that sparked quite the
00:01:12.780
debate over evangelical support for Donald Trump. We're getting into all of this and much more on
00:01:18.280
today's episode of Relatable. Hey guys, welcome to Relatable. Happy Wednesday. Hope everyone is
00:01:31.940
having a wonderful week so far. Before we get into today's topics, we've got three announcements for
00:01:36.760
you. Number one, tickets to Share the Arrows, our no-fluff, gospel-centered, worship-filled
00:01:43.380
Christian Women's Conference on October 10th, 2026. Tickets are available today at sharethearrows.com.
00:01:54.520
And so this is the time that you want to get your tickets, that you and your friends and your
00:01:59.640
sisters and your mom and your mother-in-law. Go ahead, buy all the tickets right now. You will not
00:02:06.700
regret it. Figure out everything else later. Also, Related Bros, this is the Valentine's Day gift that
00:02:13.940
the Related Girl in your life wants. She wants to be equipped. So if you want a little taste of what
00:02:19.620
she will be getting at Share the Arrows, we've got this. Share the Arrows. Anyone who has attended
00:02:29.000
this conference can tell you, there's nothing like it. This is a training ground for Christian
00:02:38.940
women ready to push back against the darkness in our homes, schools, communities, in every sphere
00:02:45.600
God has placed us. By being here, you are saying that you have stepped off the sidelines and you have
00:02:52.500
stepped into the arena. Share the Arrows is for women who want to live without fear of the future,
00:02:59.000
of people's opinions, or of the cost that's required to be bold for Christ in a world
00:03:03.880
that hates Him. Give me one woman who fears God more than anything else and you will find
00:03:10.760
an unstoppable force for Christ. This is where Christian women come to be equipped by uncompromising
00:03:18.400
biblical teaching, educated on pressing cultural issues, refreshed by genuine friendship,
00:03:23.940
and emboldened by spirit-filled worship. The political has become the theological and the
00:03:31.040
theological is our turn. We don't focus on emotions or self-love. This is a biblical conference for
00:03:38.100
women who want to exchange cowardice for courage and confusion for clarity. Christ gives our daily
00:03:46.680
struggles and motherhood meaning. Sharing the arrows means rising with our sisters in Christ
00:03:52.920
and absorbing the blows of the enemy together. That's what sharing the arrows is. Courage is
00:04:00.360
contagious. Last year, we had 6,700 women from all over the world join us at our annual conference in
00:04:08.680
Dallas, Texas. Now, we're ready for year three. Join us at Share the Arrows, 2026.

00:04:27.960
Republican Texas Attorney General debate on February 17th. You can watch this on Blaze TV, Blaze TV YouTube,
00:04:36.600
Blaze TV X. That is going to be at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central. No matter where you live, what happens
00:04:45.640
with the Attorney General election in the state of Texas will have an effect on you. Texas leads the charge
00:04:53.020
for the conservative movement in many ways, legally, and Republican states. And so you can look to Texas to
00:04:59.440
see what's going to happen to the rest of the country. Also, number three, if you enjoy Relatable,
00:05:04.960
make sure that you like this video. If you're watching on YouTube, subscribe on YouTube, on Spotify,
00:05:11.160
Apple Podcasts, Google Play, and leave a five-star review wherever you listen. All right, let's get
00:05:17.740
into everything that we are going to discuss today. I didn't have the opportunity to talk about this on
00:05:22.540
Monday. We had pre-recorded Monday's Theology episode. Go back and watch or listen to that because
00:05:28.500
what we talk about in there has more evergreen significance. It's not tied to the news cycle.
00:05:34.320
This show really isn't a news show. We want to give you timeless truth that can encourage you and
00:05:40.700
encourage you to dig deeper into the Word of God. And then we also try to tie it into what is relevant
00:05:47.820
and what's going on in the world when we can. So Wednesday, we are actually going to focus on
00:05:53.180
what is going on. And that is the crazy debate over the halftime show at the Super Bowl. And I'm not
00:06:00.180
just going to rehash everything you've already seen and heard. I want to talk about the debate among
00:06:04.740
Christians and what Christians said they thought about it and what I believe we should think about
00:06:10.280
it. So let's back up a little bit, talk about the context. Maybe you don't know at all. I've talked to
00:06:14.580
several people who did not watch the Super Bowl, didn't know about the controversy at all. So let me just
00:06:19.840
tell you why the person who sang at the Super Bowl was controversial. So NFL announced September
00:06:27.440
2025 that Bad Bunny would perform. Now, Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer. His songs are
00:06:35.720
exclusively in Spanish. So he's got a lot of popularity in Latin America, but he is very popular
00:06:41.120
all over the world, including in the United States. So it's not completely crazy that he would be chosen
00:06:47.220
to sing at the Super Bowl. But there was a lot of backlash because of this pick, especially from
00:06:54.000
conservatives. And we'll get into why in just a second. That turning point came up with the idea
00:06:59.540
of counter-programming. So kind of like an alternative halftime show, all-American halftime
00:07:05.160
show. And the reason why conservatives demanded, basically wanted an all-American halftime show is
00:07:12.940
because Bad Bunny's past statements and his actions have alluded to what I would call a disdain
00:07:20.940
for the United States and a disdain for American culture. In a Saturday Night Live monologue in
00:07:28.420
October of 2025, just days after he was announced for the Super Bowl, he joked pointedly that the
00:07:35.000
audience should just learn Spanish. Satwan. I'm very excited to be doing the Super Bowl. And I know
00:07:41.520
that people all around the world who love my music are also happy, especialmente todos los latinos.
00:07:50.940
Todos los latinos y las latinas en el mundo entero. Y aquÃ, en los Estados Unidos, todas las personas
00:07:57.620
que han trabajado para abrir puertas más que un logro mÃnimo. And if you didn't understand what I just
00:08:12.340
OK, so a lot of people were outraged about that. Now, obviously, he was joking. This is Saturday
00:08:19.020
Night Live. But at the same time, it was serious. He only sings and mostly speaks in Spanish. But this
00:08:25.100
did highlight a frustration that a lot of people had that, OK, we live in this country where the vast
00:08:31.000
majority of people speak English. Officially, legally, we don't have an official language at all.
00:08:36.340
But obviously, the vast majority of us are English speakers, especially the heart of the demographic
00:08:45.280
that watches professional football. And so why are we having a performer that exclusively sings in
00:08:51.880
Spanish? And as I'll get into, there was a lot of pushback about that complaint, calling it racist,
00:08:58.300
saying that that is hateful towards people who speak Spanish. I would say, no, not at all. It's
00:09:03.620
not that people are saying we can't hear Spanish or else our heads are going to explode. But hey,
00:09:10.120
like, let's at least have a part of this show at this iconic American event be something that we
00:09:17.840
can understand. It wasn't just, though, that he speaks and sings exclusively in Spanish, so people
00:09:24.540
can't really discern what he's saying. It's also that he has shown a lot of anger towards ICE. According
00:09:32.100
to the New York Post, before Bad Bunny was chosen for the Super Bowl, he made a statement about why
00:09:37.980
he was doing no concerts in the United States, despite being very popular in the U.S. He said
00:09:45.380
people from the U.S. could come here to see the show. He's talking about another country. Latinos
00:09:49.940
and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here or to any part of the world. But there
00:09:54.720
is the issue of, like, effing ICE could be outside my concert. And it's something that we were
00:09:59.840
talking about and very concerned about. So instead of being grateful to America for his popularity
00:10:05.440
and all the opportunity that he had been given, he said that he wasn't actually going to tour in the
00:10:10.940
U.S. because he was scared that ICE would be doing their jobs and deporting people who shouldn't be
00:10:15.880
here in the first place. So that's the level of respect that he has for the U.S. He also said that
00:10:21.960
at the Grammys just the other day. He said, I'm going to say ICE out. We're not savages. We're not
00:10:28.060
animals. We're not aliens. We are humans. And we are Americans. Well, if you're an illegal immigrant
00:10:35.220
and illegal alien, then you're actually not an American. Just because you are here in a particular
00:10:42.960
geographical location does not make you a citizen of that country and doesn't give you a right to
00:10:48.440
be here. But he means something different by American than you and I would think when we say
00:10:53.940
American. And we'll get to that in just a second. Let me pause, tell you about our first sponsor
00:10:57.860
for the day. And it's Adele Natural Cosmetics. Adele Natural Cosmetics is a Christian-founded,
00:11:03.400
family-owned company creating clean, high-end cosmetics and skincare that are made with real
00:11:08.660
care and intention. I can attest to that. I use Adele Natural Cosmetics every day. I love their
00:11:14.380
oil-based cleanser. It has been so good for my skin. It takes all of my makeup off. Even when I'm
00:11:19.680
wearing the heavier studio makeup, I can trust that Adele Natural Cosmetics is going to make sure
00:11:27.280
that my face is clean but also well-moisturized. Regular sudsy soap actually takes off the skin
00:11:33.960
barrier that your skin needs to be protected and to stay moist. And Adele Natural Cosmetics
00:11:39.580
doesn't do that. When I'm not in the studio, I also wear their moisturizing foundation, their
00:11:45.440
moisturizing blush. I love all of their products and I love this family so much. Make the switch to
00:11:51.180
Adele Natural Cosmetics. You will not regret it. Use promo code ALLY. You'll save 25% on your first
00:11:56.760
purchase. That's adelnaturalcosmetics.com code ALLY. Now, some people might say, well, just because
00:12:07.820
he's criticizing ICE doesn't mean that he hates America. And that is true. You can criticize the
00:12:13.900
policies of any entity or the government and still not be someone who lacks patriotism. However,
00:12:21.940
bad bunny lacks patriotism. Here he is sitting while everyone else is standing up and honoring the
00:12:30.100
Now, if I had seen that video and he had been standing there with tears in his eyes and his hand
00:12:53.840
over his heart, then I might have thought, okay, that gives me a different perspective
00:12:58.120
on his Super Bowl show and some of his comments. Maybe he really does just think that ICE is out of
00:13:04.860
control, but he has a gratitude to America for giving him so much opportunity. I would still vehemently
00:13:12.240
disagree with him and his position on ICE and deportations and citizenship and the right to be here
00:13:18.640
based on your citizenship status. But I could still say, okay, that is a fellow patriot and I respect
00:13:25.700
that. But seeing that video and then hearing his comments and then seeing some of what I saw in the
00:13:32.200
Super Bowl show, well, that shows me I don't think he's very grateful to America at all. And I think that
00:13:36.640
he sees America as oppressive colonizers of his beloved homeland of Puerto Rico. And we'll get into a
00:13:43.620
little bit more of that in a second. But first, let us also look at another concern that people had
00:13:48.820
about Bad Bunny. He's not just politically left wing when it comes to immigration, but also in his
00:13:55.840
belief about gender. So we'll just put up quickly some of these pictures of Bad Bunny over the years
00:14:01.580
cross-dressing. He likes to dress like a woman, obviously. He's got fake breasts there and not just
00:14:08.000
like any woman, but a scandalous woman. And that is true of all people who identify as transgender.
00:14:12.640
I'm not saying that he identifies as transgender, but that is something that we see. It's not like,
00:14:17.240
oh, I'm just going to put on this nice prairie dress. It's always looking like a prostitute,
00:14:21.480
which is just very strange. That also is a common theme in a lot of his songs. Fluidity of gender
00:14:29.940
and sexuality, but just a lot of hardcore sexual promiscuity. So these are the things that people
00:14:36.820
were concerned about. And so 11 days after Bad Bunny was announced, five days after his learned
00:14:45.100
Spanish directive on SNL, Turning Point announced its all-American halftime show on October 9th.
00:14:52.260
And the headliners were Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Bryce, Gabby Barrett. And those were all
00:14:58.620
announced locked in on February 2nd. All of those are in the country realm. Charlie Kirk Show producer,
00:15:06.240
Andrew Colvett, said that the all-American halftime show is an opportunity for all Americans to enjoy
00:15:11.780
a halftime show with no agenda other than to celebrate faith, family, and freedom. Now we'll
00:15:18.720
get into the actual specific content of that halftime show and what I think we as Christians should think
00:15:25.500
about some of the things that were sung there. But first, let's talk about Bad Bunny and some of
00:15:31.080
what went on during his show. There were some goods, I will say. I know you might think if you
00:15:36.640
follow me on Instagram that I'm just a hater, but I loved and will put up this video that the whole
00:15:42.420
halftime show actually started with a wedding. And the cool thing about this, you've probably seen this,
00:15:47.620
is that a real man and woman actually got legally married at this ceremony, at this performance at
00:15:55.940
the Super Bowl. And there's Lady Gaga right there. So that's great. And you know what? It was a man
00:16:01.080
and a woman who got married, which I think is wonderful. You could even argue that that was
00:16:06.460
like a conservative Christian theme there. And then we look at the other performances and some of the
00:16:14.340
dances. I will say another positive is just that it was theatrically incredible. It was so impressive.
00:16:22.480
I can't even imagine how much effort and work and planning and rehearsal and choreography went
00:16:30.980
into every single aspect. It was obvious that this was a show for the camera. It was not really a show
00:16:36.940
for the people sitting there. You know, we used to just have the basic concerts where you had the
00:16:41.880
singer up on a stage and yeah, you had pyrotechnics and things like that. But it was essentially just a
00:16:46.980
concert for all of the people there at the Super Bowl. This was not that. You would not have been
00:16:51.520
able to see everything that was going on if you were not actually watching and watching the camera
00:16:57.000
actually follow Bad Bunny. So I will say that. Like that was impressive. I think artistically,
00:17:03.480
we can say that Bad Bunny is a talented person, that the dancers there were talented people. But if you
00:17:11.320
look at the images circulating, and I decided that I wasn't going to show any of the images that you see
00:17:16.100
on social media of the kinds of dances that were being done while these songs were being sung,
00:17:21.660
you've got men grinding on each other. You've got a simulation of sexual acts between men,
00:17:28.220
between men and women. It was next level raunchy if you actually look at the couples dancing with each
00:17:36.500
other. And that's not surprising because when you look at the lyrics of Bad Bunny, that is the
00:17:42.080
consistent theme. It's not a man and woman coming together in holy matrimony. It is all kinds of
00:17:48.920
sexual promiscuity and different kinds of sexual acts that we won't even allude to and certainly
00:17:55.580
will not explain. Unrelatable. Now, I will say that in a lot of his songs like
00:18:01.960
Ti Me Pregunto, there was another one, Sapphira. I'm so sorry that my Spanish is a little bit rusty
00:18:09.320
there. A lot of the lyrics were censored out. And so he did not sing every vile lyric that you will
00:18:17.700
see if you look up his set list and you look up the English translation of those lyrics. You will see
00:18:23.640
allusions to all different kinds of depravity, sexual depravity in those songs. He did sing those
00:18:31.180
songs at the Super Bowl. He did not sing every single line. However, there were still references to
00:18:36.740
drugs. There were still references to sex. It's not like these were appropriate songs. I mean, that's
00:18:42.700
why they coordinated with dancing that was simulating sex between people with their clothes on. So it was
00:18:50.780
not appropriate. It wasn't as explicit as it could have been for television. Certainly not family
00:18:57.560
friendly in any way. And then at the end of it, I saw some people, conservatives, saying, oh my gosh,
00:19:02.860
that's so sweet that he said, God bless America. Well, remember back when he made his comments at
00:19:09.080
the Grammys, we are not aliens. We are Americans. What he means by America clearly is the continents of
00:19:19.260
America. So North America and South America. The point he's clearly trying to make is that you,
00:19:25.140
United States, do not have a monopoly on the definition of American. Here's thought three.
00:19:30.860
God bless America, sea Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Perú, Ecuador, Brasil,
00:19:41.080
Colombia, Venezuela, Guyana, Panamá, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala,
00:19:48.300
México, Cuba, República Dominicana, Jamaica, Isla, Antilla, United States, Canadá, I'm my motherland,
00:20:02.980
Okay. It doesn't take that much effort to leap to the conclusion that he is trying to make,
00:20:08.340
that all of these people are Americans. Everyone who lives in South America or Mexico or Canada,
00:20:15.000
they're all Americans. And I assume, maybe I'm wrong, that his logic is, who are you to remove
00:20:21.740
these people from the United States? They are also American. But of course, that is a misrepresentation
00:20:29.520
of what the argument is. The United States is its own sovereign country. We are not made up of just
00:20:35.460
continents. That's not what your citizenship is attached to. Trust me, if I go over to Mexico and
00:20:41.140
I say, I want all of the rights and privileges that come with being a citizen or to Brazil or to Chile
00:20:46.620
or to Honduras, that's not going to be honored. Going somewhere and stating, I'm an American too,
00:20:53.940
is not going to hold any water when you go to another country, when you go to another country
00:21:00.620
in the Americas. We are citizens of particular countries that have borders, that we as sovereign
00:21:06.980
nations have a right and responsibility to protect. I believe in Brazil's right and responsibility to do
00:21:14.520
that, just like I believe in Mexico's and Canada's and the United States. Now, people from Puerto Rico,
00:21:22.240
that's part of the United States. And I, you know, a lot of people will assert that you can't be
00:21:31.380
illegal on stolen land. I assume that's also something that he believes. And I've even gotten
00:21:36.600
messages from people saying, well, America took over Puerto Rico, colonized Puerto Rico. Hang on,
00:21:42.640
why do you speak Spanish? Because we weren't there first. The Spanish first took Puerto Rico. And in
00:21:49.440
fact, the entire world is just a history of being conquered and conquering, of colonialism and then
00:21:57.120
resisting colonialism. America is certainly not unique in that. And America gives millions and
00:22:03.200
millions and millions of dollars to Puerto Rico every year. Puerto Rico's got issues. A lot of parts
00:22:09.340
of the United States and parts of the world have issues. I'm not saying it's unique in that.
00:22:13.340
But this idea that United States is an oppressor and that all of these Latin American countries
00:22:17.940
are the oppressed is just not historically accurate. And it doesn't justify this idea that,
00:22:23.100
oh, well, I guess we're all just loosely American. So we don't need ICE and immigration enforcement.
00:22:29.600
Sorry. No. Now, the Washington Post and others thought that this was a very family-friendly
00:22:35.160
message, that it was a pro-America message, that we should invite our kids and our grandmother
00:22:40.180
to watch this celebration of patriotism and just family-friendly relationships. And it's not only
00:22:47.240
the Washington Post. We've also got representatives of Christianity Today and Christianity in America
00:22:53.340
echoing the same thing. We'll get into that in just a second. Let me pause, tell you about our
00:22:57.040

00:23:42.820
Okay. So the Washington Post actually put this out on X. Now, remember everything that I just told you
00:23:54.420
about the gyrating. He gyrates a lot. Like that is just part of like his brand.
00:24:00.900
The sexual acts being simulated, the singing about sexual promiscuity, having girlfriends all over the
00:24:06.700
world and getting high and doing it with each other. Okay. And think of that. And now listen to
00:24:12.340
this analysis from the Washington Post. In general, Bad Bunny Super Bowl, in general, doing a lot of
00:24:18.600
work here. Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show had the kind of wholesome traditional family values that
00:24:23.440
would have fit right in with some of the more sentimental commercials that appear during the
00:24:27.700
game. So the author of this article says, it remained a PG rated affair with about as much dirtiness
00:24:34.580
to the dancing as there was in the 1987 movie Dirty Dancing. Well, yeah, you probably shouldn't
00:24:39.840
watch Dirty Dancing with your kids for sure. The backup dancers were wild and exuberant,
00:24:44.980
but well short of lurid. Disagree. Same for Bad Bunny, who offered trademark grabs of his crotch.
00:24:50.720
No big deal. While singing about an anaconda and inspired pelvic gyrations. This may be the first
00:24:55.820
time we've seen so-called dwerking on national television, but it was nothing compared with the
00:25:00.700
flipping and flopping we've seen from Bad Bunny's live shows on TikTok. Now, Elmo apparently loved
00:25:08.580
this. The official Elmo account said that bunny was amazing. Elmo thinks he should be called good
00:25:14.340
bunny. Piers Morgan couldn't disagree more, Mr. President. He is referencing Trump. Trump said it
00:25:20.100
was an awful halftime show. Piers Morgan says, I absolutely loved Bad Bunny's halftime show.
00:25:25.000
Amazing. Best in Super Bowl history? Theater and choreography. I wouldn't maybe disagree with that.
00:25:31.760
Great energy. Superbly confident performance and a very welcome unifying message. No, thank you.
00:25:37.580
Oh, and Spanish is first language for 50 million Americans. All right. Here are my thoughts on the
00:25:44.020
different aspects of this. One, his lack of patriotism. I said, call me extreme, but I don't
00:25:48.580
think that people who hate America should be asked to sing in the Super Bowl. This is an iconic
00:25:53.000
American event. Part of it is celebrating America, the freedom that we have, the love that we have
00:25:58.260
for football, which is uniquely American. I think someone who cares about America, who stands for
00:26:03.220
the national anthem, who knows what an American is, that it's not just this combination of a bunch of
00:26:08.680
different countries from different continents, but we're talking about the United States of America
00:26:14.220
and having gratitude and patriotism for the United States, I think should be a prerequisite
00:26:19.220
when we are choosing someone to sing at the Super Bowl. Now, I don't think that we've had someone who
00:26:24.040
feels that way about the United States sing at the Super Bowl in a long time, probably because Jay-Z
00:26:28.740
helps produce the Super Bowl and he is a radical progressive. Also, when it comes to singing a
00:26:35.900
language that the vast majority, I think about 85 percent of the country, does not understand. Again, this is
00:26:42.020
an American event and it was not an accident and it was certainly not arbitrary to choose someone who
00:26:50.180
speaks and sings exclusively Spanish at this American event to try to make the point in a subliminal way
00:26:58.500
that what we are doing with deportations and immigration enforcement is wrong. That was the underlying
00:27:04.600
message of all of this and I think it's a way to shame the key demographic watching professional
00:27:12.100
football into changing their position on immigration, which is just silly. It doesn't really do that and
00:27:20.100
you're not actually serving the audience who is watching. It really is more about making people feel
00:27:25.960
guilty for voting for Trump or agreeing with protecting our borders. So that's what's going on. I didn't
00:27:35.280
like it. It's not about hating Hispanic Americans. It's not about thinking that no one should ever speak
00:27:41.800
Spanish ever. It is about an American event, having someone who speaks English and sings English at least
00:27:49.760
part of the time. I don't think that's too much to ask and who actually loves America and what she stands
00:27:55.580
for. Now, when it comes to the sexual aspect of this and the explicit nature of his lyrics and the gyrating
00:28:09.760
and the sexual acts being simulated, I would have thought that all of us as Christians could rally around
00:28:18.640
the idea that that's not good, that that's a bad thing, that that's not something that we want our kids
00:28:23.980
watching. It's not something that we should cheer. Maybe you thought that he was good theatrically,
00:28:28.960
but I just thought that all Christians left, right, and center could say, it's probably not a good thing
00:28:34.260
to be acting in that way, behaving in that way when millions of people are watching. Because we know
00:28:42.240
what the Lord says about sexual immorality. We know that it kills people in their soul. We know that
00:28:50.000
it's bad for the heart and the mind and the eyes, and we don't want that for people. We love our neighbors more
00:28:54.980
than that. I said, doing an entire show at an iconic American event in a language most of the country does not
00:29:02.320
understand as a humiliation ritual. But then Mike Cosper responded with this, which I just thought took it
00:29:09.300
too far. Alternative take, Mike Cosper, who is of Christianity today, America has always been a
00:29:16.580
melting pot. And once in a while, throwing a bone to our Spanish-speaking neighbors is a kind and loving
00:29:22.240
thing to do. And Christians ought to celebrate it because they appreciate all those neighbors do for
00:29:28.680
them. I mean, there are so many aspects of this that I find condescending. Throwing a bone, we ought to
00:29:35.000
celebrate it because of all that they do for us. Not even just that they're people and fellow Americans
00:29:40.640
and neighbors, but because these Spanish-speaking Americans do things for us, we should throw them a
00:29:46.720
bone. I thought that was just too far because he's going beyond saying that he disagrees with my
00:29:52.440
statement about the humiliation ritual and into the territory of saying Christians need to celebrate this
00:29:58.120
because bad bunnies speak Spanish and we know people that speak Spanish too. And so I just
00:30:04.900
replied with some of the lyrics of one of the songs that was sung, a Dominican who was a fresh hottie,
00:30:11.180
fresh, fresh hottie, the one from Barcelona that came by plane and says that is fire. I can't even
00:30:17.520
say. Now that was bleeped out. That part was censored from the Super Bowl show, but the rest of those
00:30:24.060
lyrics were sung. The sentiment was sung many, many times. And it's hard for me to understand why this
00:30:31.560
person from Christianity today would say we have to celebrate that this particular halftime show in
00:30:37.700
order to love our Hispanic neighbors. We also had people like Phil Vischer. He hosts a podcast. He is
00:30:46.260
anti-Trump Christian, and he also invented VeggieTales. Very thankful to Phil Vischer for the hours that I
00:30:55.940
spent at Christian school on Fridays in elementary school watching VeggieTales. It was a great resource,
00:31:02.140
but unfortunately, Phil Vischer seems to have become very mushy on some things that should be very basic
00:31:07.780
for the Christian. He said the halftime show didn't appear to be degenerate. It was fun. Now he deleted
00:31:15.440
that post. I have yet to see him post something out saying, hey, I got that wrong. And here's why I got
00:31:22.080
that wrong. I would appreciate that. We've all said something that maybe we didn't think all of the
00:31:26.860
way through. But here's the problem with these anti-Trump professing Christians. They are so
00:31:33.200
reflexively against anything that is conservative coded or MAGA coded, like the Turning Point halftime
00:31:42.620
show, and so reflexively supportive of secular progressive culture as a way to kind of like
00:31:48.460
counter-signal conservative evangelicals that they will end up supporting degeneracy in the name of
00:31:56.000
being winsome or in the name of being anti-Trump. And these are the very kinds of people that will
00:32:01.760
accuse people like me or Megan Basham or even Elisa Childers of being blinded by our political ideology
00:32:08.560
or making an idol of politics when in reality, these people seem to view everything through the lens
00:32:15.300
of MAGA versus non-MAGA. Caitlin Francis pointed out on X, she said, don't tell me God doesn't have
00:32:24.460
a sense of humor. The man responsible for iconic VeggieTales, the Bunny song, in which the bunny
00:32:30.840
is code for the idol that all the people are peer pressured into worshiping, is out here defending
00:32:36.560
the Bad Bunny halftime show because it was fun. And you kind of have to know a little VeggieTales lore,
00:32:42.840
but other people were creating this meme. And you'll remember, this is the VeggieTales rendition
00:32:49.740
of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego when Nebuchadnezzar was saying, bow before my golden idol. I could sing
00:32:56.540
you this song, the bunny, the bunny. I could probably keep going. It's just stuck in my memory.
00:33:03.000
But they're pointing out that this is ironic. Like, okay, we've got the bunny that is symbolizing
00:33:10.580
idolatry. And you have the creator of that now seemingly bowing before the idol of Bad Bunny and
00:33:18.000
saying, oh, it's not really that bad. And then you have people like Mike Cosper responding to me
00:33:25.360
pointing out the terrible lyrics of Bad Bunny by saying, now do Kid Rock. So this was the debate
00:33:34.500
that was really waging. Kid Rock or Bad Bunny, who was worse? You've got Turning Point saying that
00:33:40.740
they've got this family-friendly show, but then they have Kid Rock, who is not really a family-friendly
00:33:45.640
guy, singing. And so that debate is kind of what became the flashpoint for the intra-Christian battle
00:33:55.060
that we're having right now. So let me explain what went on with that in just a second. Let me pause,
00:34:00.040
tell you about our next sponsor for the day, and that is We Heart Nutrition. I get all of my
00:34:03.940

00:34:51.820
Okay, I'm not going to lie. When I heard that Kid Rock was playing at Turning Point's show,
00:35:04.440
I was wondering how that was going to work out. Because I don't think of him as kid-friendly,
00:35:11.080
ironically, or family-friendly. I know that he has a history of being very raunchy. He's definitely
00:35:19.300
about the sex, drugs, rock and roll, drinking, and things like that. So I was very surprised when
00:35:27.400
I saw a clip because I was rocking a baby and I wasn't able to watch the entirety of Turning Point's
00:35:33.200
halftime show. But I was surprised when I looked on X and I saw this clip circulating of Kid Rock
00:35:40.980
sharing the gospel, or at least part of the gospel. Here's top four.
00:35:44.180
There's a book that's sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off.
00:35:51.640
There's a man who died for all our sins. Hanging from the cross. You can give your life to Jesus
00:36:01.880
and give you a second chance till you can't. Take it. If you got a chance, take it.
00:36:16.600
Okay, I love that. I loved that message. I love the theme of this song. It's called Till You Can't.
00:36:21.620
And that line is so true that Jesus will give you a second chance. He's got all of this grace to give
00:36:28.600
until you can't, until you take your last breath. And so do it now. And that is a very biblical
00:36:35.280
concept. Today, if you hear his voice, don't turn away from him, but turn toward him. Go toward the
00:36:41.380
Lord and repent. And so I loved that. Now, I also saw people circulating the rest of his performance
00:36:48.720
that happened before that, which was promoting the kinds of degeneracy that Kid Rock has promoted
00:36:56.700
in the past. He sang one of his songs, one of his earliest hits that has lyrics like this.
00:37:02.840
And this is for the questions that don't have any answers. The Midnight Glancers and the Topless
00:37:08.660
Dancers goes on to say for the shots of Jack and the caps of meth for the hookers all tricking out in
00:37:14.900
Hollywood. So very confusing. And a lot of people rightly pointed out this seems a little bit
00:37:20.420
hypocritical. Now, people also use this to come after people like me and say, this is the person that
00:37:26.600
you're trying to say represents Christianity. It's so hypocritical for you to criticize Bad Bunny.
00:37:31.360
I don't think it's hypocritical for me to criticize Bad Bunny. I'm obviously going to celebrate when
00:37:37.460
the gospel is shared, even if it's by someone whose entire faith journey I don't know, versus just
00:37:43.820
promoting degeneracy. If Bad Bunny had gotten up there and preached the gospel, I would say,
00:37:49.220
okay, it's kind of weird that he was just gyrating in the air and that he's preaching the gospel.
00:37:53.580
But wow, millions of people heard the gospel. I'm really happy about that. I promise.
00:37:57.240
I would have clipped that. I would have put it on my story. I would have put it on X. I would have
00:38:01.780
said, wow, this comes as a surprise. And so at first, I didn't really know what to make of Kid Rock
00:38:07.980
sharing this biblical truth, but also singing about these awful things that obviously I don't approve of.
00:38:14.540
I don't want to promote. I don't want my kids hearing about or watching. But then I saw
00:38:19.240
John Root. He posted this and gave us some context. He said, there seems to be a lot of
00:38:24.340
confusion and backlash, especially from the Christian community, about Kid Rock's performance
00:38:28.560
during Turning Point's All-American Halftime Show. I can clear things up. Kid Rock started his set by
00:38:33.840
performing Ball with the Ball. And I'm told that that is how you say it, which came out in 1999.
00:38:40.640
It's a vulgar song, John says, referencing topless dancers drinking, crooked cops, bastards, etc.
00:38:46.560
Hearing that was a shock to a lot of us, rightfully so. He says, it felt worldly, which I believe was
00:38:52.920
the point. Next, there was an acoustic set with two people playing a Christian hymn. It was meant to be
00:38:57.400
an emotional bridge to what came next. Finally, it transitioned to Kid Rock, his stage name, being
00:39:02.660
introduced back to the stage as Robert Ritchie, his birth name. He then played a revised version of
00:39:08.100
Till You Can't, which included lyrics about Jesus. He also spoke about Jesus's sacrifice on the cross,
00:39:13.660
encouraged people to follow Christ, and to read their Bibles. This was supposed to be an artistic
00:39:18.740
way of portraying a redemption story. He says, I don't know Kid Rock's walk with Christ, but he
00:39:24.560
used this moment to point people to Christ, and I rejoice in that. He references Philippians 1, 15
00:39:29.600
through 18, which I believe by pretense or by truth in an honest way or because of some kind of selfish
00:39:35.720
ambition, we should always praise God when the gospel is preached. That is my take on that. Do I wish that
00:39:42.560
he would have done a different method of trying to portray that apparent redemption arc? Yes,
00:39:49.200
because I guarantee if I had been watching that and he was singing about that, I would have muted
00:39:53.280
it or turned it off, and I probably wouldn't have stayed for the rest of the set. I would have just
00:39:57.620
assumed that's all he's going to sing about. Typical Kid Rock is what would have gone through my mind,
00:40:02.760
and I wouldn't have watched the rest of it. So I think there was probably a way to not seem like
00:40:07.340
you're glorifying that kind of stuff, glorifying that kind of lifestyle and saying, I don't sing about
00:40:11.580
that stuff anymore because Jesus changed me. Like, he captured my heart. This is my new self,
00:40:17.820
and let me just sing about that. People also pointed out that a long time ago, 2001, he had a song that
00:40:24.680
came out called Cool Daddy Cool, where he talks about, and this is a terrible lyric, young ladies,
00:40:29.380
young ladies, I like them underage. Some say that's statutory, but I say it's mandatory. And yes,
00:40:37.020
that is absolutely awful. I don't think that any Christian should brush over that and say,
00:40:42.260
oh, well, that's not that big of a deal. My only response is, yes, that's terrible. We shouldn't
00:40:47.000
celebrate that. I wish he hadn't sung the bad lyrics, but man, I am so happy that he shared truth
00:40:53.640
about what Jesus can do for a person to millions of people. And by the way, just congrats, turning point.
00:40:58.800
I believe it was overall like 20 million people who were viewing this alternative halftime show.
00:41:04.340
It at least shows proof of concept. Maybe there are some things that they would do differently
00:41:08.760
next year. I would not have called this completely family-friendly. Not only did Kid Rock sing about
00:41:14.260
some of that stuff, but we also had some other singers just singing about beer. I'm like, can we
00:41:19.260
not sing about something else other than beer? But Gabby Barrett, I will say, I mean, there were a lot
00:41:24.440
of good performances. Gabby Barrett, incredible. I had not heard her sing before. So strong, so good.
00:41:30.940
Um, and so, yeah, there was some backlash about this and some questions. Is Kid Rock actually
00:41:36.760
a Christian? I don't know if he's actually a Christian. We looked back at some of the statements
00:41:41.560
that he had made on Joe Rogan, for example, shared some weird stuff, talked about how basically
00:41:46.680
Jesus is everything and everywhere. Um, this is kind of like pantheism or panentheism. And that
00:41:56.500
obviously is not something that is biblically true. Uh, now he also seems to have some understanding
00:42:04.140
though of forgiveness and redemption and change and turning toward the Lord. Now he also mentioned
00:42:10.720
that Paula White, who is President Trump's spiritual advisor is his quote unquote pastor. Now you can go
00:42:16.940
back to Monday's episode to hear what I believe the Bible has to say about female pastors, but also
00:42:23.940
I've done a whole episode on Paula White and that is episode 1137. A few months ago, she is the head
00:42:32.820
of the new faith office there in Trump's administration. And I think that it's bad because
00:42:38.900
I think that she swindles people. And I think that she manipulates people into donating her money with a
00:42:45.640
spirit or donating money to her with a spiritual premise. And I believe that's wrong. I believe that's
00:42:51.300
wrong. And I believe that she teaches a health and wealth gospel that doesn't align with biblical
00:42:55.920
truth and actually can lead people to a shipwrecked faith because what you win people with is what you
00:43:02.260
win them to. And when they realize that life is still hard, you don't always get health or wealth
00:43:06.760
when you follow Christ, but rather we're called to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow Jesus.
00:43:11.520
People can be really disappointed. So I think that she is highly problematic. I'm sure she does a lot of
00:43:16.240
good things, says a lot of good things, and I'm happy about that, but I don't think it's great that
00:43:21.580
this is his spiritual advisor. Now, all of us in the beginning of our faith probably believed things
00:43:25.760
that were not true. We're all going to believe things that are not true until we get to glory
00:43:28.820
because none of us is perfect. I certainly listened to teachers when I first became a Christian that I
00:43:34.120
would not listen to now. And so we don't know his heart, but we can hope that he is on a path
00:43:41.340
of sanctification like the rest of us. Now, there were some posts that I saw on his Instagram that
00:43:47.200
people sent to me from a few months ago. Not good. I would not encourage you to go and look at those
00:43:53.860
and look at those pictures, like pornographic, promoting sexual promiscuity. So again, I don't
00:43:59.880
know where he is in his walk. So I don't really think that this works as a gotcha from the Christianity
00:44:05.560
Today people or anyone out there who thinks that I'm being too harsh about the Super Bowl show. I didn't
00:44:12.200
even make any comment about his artistic ability, although it does sound like he has a good voice. I
00:44:19.480
didn't say that he was a representative of Christianity. I said that he shared some biblical
00:44:23.780
truth that pointed to the gospel, and in that I rejoice. And it really should be that all Christians
00:44:29.920
can at least rally around that. People like Mike Cosper, Phil Vischer, they would call
00:44:35.460
me divisive. But really, I think that all Christians, if we can't rally around basic
00:44:42.020
biblical truth about not glorifying sin and being happy when the gospel is shared, I don't think it's
00:44:48.400
me that's being divisive. And I don't think it's me that's blinded by the culture war. I don't think
00:44:53.340
it's me that's having a hard time seeing things through the lens of scripture. I think that when you
00:44:57.960
are seeing everything through the lens of, ooh, if Trump likes it, then it must be bad, that that's
00:45:04.180
really going to mess with your moral clarity. So let's pray for Kid Rock. Let's also pray for
00:45:10.240
Bad Bunny. The best outcome in all of these situations is that these people come to know
00:45:15.200
the Lord, that they are saved by his grace, that they continue to be sanctified by his grace.
00:45:21.240
All right. There was another controversy within the evangelical world, and that had to do with,
00:45:26.060
yes, Donald Trump and a very unfortunate video that was released on his Truth Social. We'll get into
00:45:33.400
that in just a second. Let me pause, tell you about our next sponsor. That is Alliance Defending
00:45:37.920
Freedom. Alliance Defending Freedom is committed to protecting our religious freedom. Religious freedom
00:45:44.280
is a cornerstone of our nation. I know the people at Alliance Defending Freedom. They are salt of the
00:45:49.740
earth, incredibly skilled attorneys. Kristen Wagner is the CEO of ADF. She is the real deal. She is a strong
00:45:57.380
Christian, a mom, and she is helping lead the charge all the way up to the Supreme Court to protect our
00:46:03.080
religious liberty, our First Amendment rights, and the privacy and fairness for women and girls who just
00:46:07.940
want to be able to play sex-exclusive sports, which is their right. And so they allow us to fight for the
00:46:16.460
rights that the Constitution guarantees us. We need smart attorneys like this in our corner. I'm so thankful
00:46:22.800
for them. I really encourage you to support them. At least stay in the know on what they're doing so
00:46:29.080
that you can pray for them. That is so powerful in their efforts. Go to joinadf.com slash Allie.

00:46:42.000
Okay, it has been a crazy time within American Christianity. And we've we had ice, we had the Obama video,
00:46:59.220
and then we had Bad Bunny. You got a lot of people angry and specifically angry at Allie Stuckey for the
00:47:07.200
things that I am saying and not saying. So let me further explain my position on this after I give you
00:47:11.980
some context. So there was this 62 second video that Donald Trump posted on Truth Social last week that
00:47:18.980
primarily focused on allegations of fraud in the 2020 presidential election. Yes, we are still talking about
00:47:24.260
this. At the end of the video published to Trump's account, it shifted to a two second segment of an AI
00:47:30.920
generated video showing former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama with their heads superimposed on the
00:47:38.140
bodies of guerrillas. Now, a senior White House official said that the video had a lot of
00:47:45.140
been posted by a staffer in error rather than Trump himself. It was subsequently removed.
00:47:52.140
So you can see the whole thing. So you can see the whole thing. It shifted to this two second segment of
00:47:55.360
this AI generated video showing former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama with their heads
00:48:00.920
superimposed on the bodies of guerrillas. Now, a senior White House official said that the video had
00:48:08.280
been posted by a staffer in error rather than Trump himself. It was subsequently removed.
00:48:14.440
And then Trump spoke to reporters on Friday about it. Obviously, people were saying this is totally
00:48:21.760
racist. I can't believe that he would post this video with the Obamas as monkeys. And so reporters
00:48:28.060
asked him, what do you think about this? Here's thought seven.
00:48:31.160
At the very least, do you condemn the racist parts of the video?
00:48:37.320
So he says, of course I do. Now, when we first saw this story,
00:48:42.180
all we saw was that Trump had played a video of the Obamas as monkeys. When I first saw this,
00:48:50.260
I saw Russell Moore, who is also the editor emeritus, I think, at Christianity Today. He's
00:48:56.260
a longtime Southern Baptist guy. I thought that Trump had just posted this video of the Obamas
00:49:01.440
as monkeys. And I was like, oh my goodness, what in the world? How awful? And how is he going to
00:49:09.900
explain something like this? And that's what a lot of the posts show you. This is what Russell
00:49:14.040
Moore said. He said, racist, deranged, humiliating to our country. The fact that we have decided to
00:49:18.420
pretend to pretend to this is normal every day is a moral abomination. Have we any shame?
00:49:25.940
And every day, an entire generation is being told it is Christian to support this. God have mercy on
00:49:32.180
us. So many things about that. Number one, he doesn't show that this is clearly a screen recording
00:49:37.600
and that it autoplayed another video. That's what happens when you're watching a video on X.
00:49:42.620
And I assume the same is true for Truth Social. You may not know if you're not on X. If I'm screen
00:49:47.160
recording a video, maybe to post to my Instagram story, and I don't stop it in time, it's going to
00:49:53.760
autoplay to the next video. And if I don't go in there and edit it exactly, then it's going to show
00:50:02.120
the next video as part of the video that I screen recorded. And that is very obviously
00:50:06.860
what happened. That's not even an assumption on my part. There is no, I promise you, even if you
00:50:13.840
think that Donald Trump thinks these things in his brain, like even if you think that secretly he is
00:50:19.740
this anti-Black racist, he would not intentionally put a picture like this on his Truth Social. Even if
00:50:29.160
you want to be completely cynical and just say, oh, it's all about politics for them politically,
00:50:34.520
it doesn't help him to do that. That's not what the rest of the video was about. So you can maintain
00:50:38.860
your belief. I don't share this belief that Trump is a racist and still just be logical and say,
00:50:44.680
it doesn't make sense with the rest of the video that was clearly being screen recorded. But you would
00:50:50.160
think that from Russell Moore's post. And also, it is not true that an entire generation is being told
00:50:56.500
that that is Christian. No one is saying that. You're misrepresenting our argument. Our argument
00:51:01.640
was, and still is, by the way, that Trump is a better alternative to Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden
00:51:07.720
and Kamala Harris. And to that, I say, yes and amen, yes and amen, yes and amen. I do not regret that
00:51:14.120
at all. They would have been, Biden was, but Hillary and Kamala would have been disastrous
00:51:20.820
as presidents. I am thankful considering the alternatives that Donald Trump was president.
00:51:27.520
That does not mean that I think everything he does is morally great. That doesn't mean that I
00:51:31.880
like all of his posts, that I like everything that he says. I've been extremely honest and
00:51:35.960
consistent on that for a very long time. I did not support Donald Trump in the primaries, mostly
00:51:41.860
because I think that these like moral and rhetorical unforced errors really distract us from
00:51:48.840
focusing on policy. He's done a good job, I think, at this administration policy-wise, but it does make
00:51:55.860
it difficult when we are having these kinds of conversations. I still think so much better than
00:52:01.580
the alternatives that we had in the ballot box. And I really don't understand how a Christian could
00:52:08.140
say, no, the better and the godlier thing to do, the thing that leads to better policies for my neighbor
00:52:13.920
is to vote for Kamala Harris. Maybe you voted third party. Maybe you didn't vote at all.
00:52:17.900
Okay. Like I can kind of understand that. I don't agree with it, but I can understand it.
00:52:22.480
I don't understand voting for someone who is so vehemently through all nine months pro-abortion
00:52:27.340
and anti-pro-life and anti-First Amendment like Kamala Harris. I just don't. Okay. So the argument
00:52:34.880
is not that something like this, a video like this is good. And then you have John Piper, which this
00:52:39.360
makes me sad. It doesn't surprise me that much, but it does. It does make me sad. He quote tweeted,
00:52:44.880
Russell Moore. He said, one, not be so afraid of sounding quasi-woke that one cannot agree with
00:52:50.760
Russell Moore on this. John Piper, listen, I'm going to defend you first, and then I'm going to
00:52:56.180
say something. John Piper is not a progressive. Okay. I've been listening to John Piper for probably
00:53:01.320
10 years. I listened to most episodes of Ask Pastor John, and that has been going on for a long
00:53:08.100
time. He is not a progressive. Like he is very, very clear. He is theologically conservative.
00:53:12.620
He is so solid on the theological issues. I think he does not think through the political
00:53:18.180
and some of the social issues when it comes to these conversations. I think that this is reflexive
00:53:24.080
because he lives in Minneapolis. And I think a lot of conservatives actually look for the opportunity
00:53:29.300
to flag, oh, I'm not political. Oh, I'm both sides. I'm just calling out the leaders in a completely
00:53:35.400
nonpartisan way that they don't take the time to think, but is this true? But is this true?
00:53:42.160
And that is very disappointing because John Piper is a very smart, a brilliant intellectual person
00:53:47.540
that I know is very diligent when it comes to studying God's word. You have to be also diligent
00:53:52.400
in studying and discerning the things that are said on social media.
00:53:57.680
And then we also had a senator, Alabama Senator Katie Britt. She said,
00:54:01.400
this content was rightfully removed, should have never been posted to begin with, and is not who we
00:54:05.120
are as a nation. I don't necessarily disagree with all of those statements. I think all of those
00:54:09.740
things are true. I don't know if within her statements there is an assumption that Donald
00:54:15.000
Trump did this on purpose and that he was really trying to be racist towards the Obamas.
00:54:21.060
I, again, just don't believe that. I don't believe that it was intentional. And I got a lot of people
00:54:28.800
very angry at me because I don't believe that he did this on purpose and who just wanted me to say,
00:54:35.620
wow, Trump is so bad for posting this. Well, I'm not going to post that. I'm not going to say that
00:54:41.020
unless I think that he did this intentionally. I'll get into more of my points in just a second.
00:54:46.160
Let me tell you about our last sponsor. That is Good Ranchers. Love this family-owned company. We
00:54:50.700
rely on Good Ranchers almost every night in our home. Last night, we had what we typically have.
00:54:56.380
We keep it pretty simple. We had our baked chicken breasts. So good. My kids love the chicken from
00:55:02.880
Good Ranchers. And I love that they are getting this protein from an American farmer ranch.
00:55:07.560
I had the ground beef and I ate that with sweet potato and it was amazing. I love having a freezer
00:55:15.040
full of Good Ranchers meat. It makes sure that we are prepared, that we're getting our protein goals,
00:55:21.020
and also that we are supporting this American industry, which is so important for the American
00:55:25.960
economy. And this year to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, they are donating a portion of
00:55:33.300
their profits to the paralyzed veterans of America. And so if you want to support veterans and support
00:55:40.760
this American company, go to goodranchers.com. You'll save $25 when you use my code Allie. That's
00:55:47.600
goodranchers.com. Code Allie. Okay. So my belief is that of course it's dehumanizing and wrong to
00:55:58.620
depict black people as monkeys. That is an old trope that has been used to demean and justify
00:56:03.780
mistreatment of black people. Now there were all kinds of people in the full video that were depicted
00:56:09.440
as animals that was not caught in Trump's screen recording, but you can go see like the full dumb
00:56:15.120
video. And it depicts all different kinds of politicians as animals. Biden was also depicted
00:56:20.560
as a baboon. And Trump was seen as the lion, the king of the jungle. And so there's no debate about
00:56:27.020
whether this was a dumb video, whether depicting black people as primates is wrong and evil. I do
00:56:33.800
believe that it is. But the debate is over whether this was done on purpose or in error. And I do believe
00:56:39.800
it was in error, not because Trump and his people said that, but because when you watch it, it looks
00:56:46.960
like that. That's exactly how it looks. And so I got called all kinds of names. I got people
00:56:52.220
mad at me for saying that. Why can't you call out Trump? Look, I'm going to call out Trump on the
00:56:58.020
substantive stuff that I think is bad for our country. His support of taxpayer funded IVF,
00:57:05.360
their support of the circulation of the abortion pill, which is killing our fellow image bearers of
00:57:12.760
God, our neighbors, our fellow Americans every single day at a huge, awful, evil scale. And then
00:57:22.200
also just the wishy-washy stance that he has personally had on abortion. Now, in other ways,
00:57:27.660
I think the Trump administration is extremely pro-life, is extremely pro-procreation, and is pro-baby.
00:57:33.640
And I'm very thankful for the foreign policy that he has put in place that I think in general very
00:57:38.660
much promotes peace, the economic policy that he has put in place that has promoted economic
00:57:44.660
prosperity in a lot of ways. And I will, I don't see me ever, ever regretting voting for Trump over
00:57:53.020
Kamala Harris. I will reiterate, that would have been a disaster. I will never vote for someone like
00:57:58.540
that. And like, if you think that we should have voted differently, if we should have voted for
00:58:06.120
Kamala Harris, you're going to have to give me like the political Christian case for that, because I
00:58:11.080
haven't heard it. And I traffic in a lot of left-wing perspective, including so-called Christian left-wing
00:58:18.080
perspective. And I've never heard a persuasive argument for why we should vote for Kamala Harris.
00:58:23.200
I'll hear out your argument for why you think we shouldn't support Trump, or why you think that
00:58:27.960
we should, you know, vote third party or whatever. But we've got a binary choice at the ballot box,
00:58:35.060
and that's what we've got. And I'm thankful that this was the outcome that we have. Now, some people
00:58:39.760
say, well, you should just hold him accountable. Look, the only way that we can really hold him
00:58:45.100
accountable is by not voting for him. And that's done. We're not going to vote for him for president
00:58:51.100
again. You're not going to get me to promise that I'm not going to vote Republican again. Look, when
00:58:55.120
you've got a party that is chemically castrating kids and butchering kids inside the womb, when you
00:59:00.920
have a party that won't even say at this point that we have a right to enforce our border, you're
00:59:06.000
going to it's going to be a no from me, dog. It's going to be a no from me when you're electing an
00:59:10.440
outright Islamic socialist in the state of New York City. It's going to be no from me. And so we're going to
00:59:15.920
have to take some unforced errors and some not great tweets that I believe were accidental as
00:59:23.020
an alternative to the absolute degenerate destruction that we see on a wide scale from
00:59:27.400
the Democrat Party. Maybe not every individual Democrat, but Democrats as a whole. So like,
00:59:33.060
that's where we are. We've had the debates about Trump's tweets for many years. He's president.
00:59:37.780
He's not going anywhere. He's not going to resign. He's not going to be impeached. We should call him
00:59:41.720
out when we can. We should push him in the direction of righteousness when we can. But at the
00:59:46.360
end of the day, this is who we got for three more, three more years. We can make a different
00:59:52.020
choice next time. All right. That's all we've got time for today. And before we go, just another
