00:44:14.920Allie. All right. So we pray for AOC. Children are a blessing. Her desire to become a mom is
00:44:26.200a good desire and I want her to fulfill that. I want her to find a good godly man and I want her
00:44:31.860to get married and I want her to have kids and I want her to experience the joy of motherhood. I
00:44:35.680think that she would be a good mom. Obviously, I think that her values and her thoughts on a lot
00:44:40.860of things should shift, but it also changes you for the better. So yeah, I hope that the Lord would
00:44:48.120save her, would help her, would point her in the right direction and that she follows that path
00:44:52.080instead. All right. Now we've got to talk about something super important that you've heard me
00:44:58.280discuss before, but we've got firsthand accounts from the Daughters of the American Revolution.
00:45:03.420They are trying to redefine what it means to be a daughter, and they want to include sons who
00:45:08.680identify as daughters in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Well, we've got a couple
00:45:12.660Christian women, related girls, raising a respectful ruckus for the things that matter,1.00
00:45:18.360for the Christian roots and for the definition of womanhood that is inherent in Daughters of1.00
00:45:23.040the American Revolution. I'm talking to two members today that need our help. So without
00:45:28.820further ado, here they are. Laura, Juliet, thanks so much for taking the time to join us.
00:45:38.640We talked on the show about what is going on with the Daughters of the American Revolution,
00:45:43.860and both of your names were sent to me multiple times by people who are familiar with everything
00:45:48.980going on. If you could each introduce yourself, Laura, you first, just tell us how long you've
00:45:54.780been a part of the DAR. Hi, Alliebeth. Thank you for having me. My name is Laura McDonald. I'm a
00:46:01.160member of the DAR. I'm here just speaking in my capacity as a member, private citizen,
00:46:07.060not speaking on behalf of the DAR. I've been a member since 2018, and it wasn't until 2023
00:46:13.560that we've learned about this issue that's been going on within the DAR.
00:46:19.860And Juliette, what about you? What's your history with the DAR?
00:46:24.060Thank you again for having us. I joined the DAR in December of 2023. Proud to be a first
00:46:31.020generation daughter and learned about the men be admitted shortly after. And that's about the same
00:46:37.660time when Laura and I met. Okay. So just as a reminder for people, um, Laura, if you could
00:46:44.940tell us what exactly are you referring to? What happened in 2023 that started to sound the alarms
00:46:50.900for you? Right. So in 2023, there was a bylaw amendment that added anti-additional, uh, or I'm
00:46:59.880sorry, it added additional anti-discrimination language to our bylaws. So there was already
00:47:04.140a clause that said members could not discriminate against an eligible applicant,
00:47:09.100but there was a proposal to amend those bylaws to add additional language. So you can't
00:47:15.380discriminate against an applicant based on race, religion, sexual orientation, age,
00:47:20.480disability, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law. And so that got members,
00:47:25.860you know, wondering, does this have anything to do with this new thing that's taking hold in the
00:47:30.540country of, you know, transgender ideology. And that question came up on the floor there at
00:47:35.480Continental Congress. And the question was asked, does this mean that we cannot turn away a man who
00:47:41.520has an amended birth certificate? And the answer was, no, you cannot. That would be illegal
00:47:46.560discrimination. And there was some back and forth. Let me just play that clip again so the audience
00:47:54.560can remember what went on there. With the proposed change in wording to the bylaw,
00:48:00.060Would our chapters be able to still vote not to admit into our chapter a person
00:48:06.560whose birth certificate has been altered by their state to indicate they are
00:48:11.260female even though they were born a male?
00:48:14.560I'm going to say, yes, if their birth certificate says they're a female and you1.00
00:48:19.560vote against them based on by their protected class, it's discrimination.
00:48:26.260juliette what was the response when you got that when you heard that very strange answer that well
00:48:35.860yeah you can't discriminate against someone just because they're a man
00:48:41.040it was actually surprising and somewhat shocking um when i joined the dar i joined as an opportunity
00:48:50.400to continue to serve my son and i had served in a different capacity um when he was younger but i
00:48:55.840didn't have an opportunity to serve with my daughters. And so that was a great draw for me
00:49:00.340and the DAR to be able to trace back lineage, to be able to join, but then also to be able to serve
00:49:08.660and give back with my daughters. And that was something that I was really looking forward to.
00:49:12.420So when I heard that DAR was admitting men, I felt a bit betrayed and truly puzzled because
00:49:22.020that was completely not what I understood the organization was all about.
00:49:27.700So Laura, tell me what you think is behind this, because from my understanding, the Daughters
00:49:33.000of the American Revolution was started with Christian principles, obviously American principles
00:49:38.660and pride and the courage that was displayed by those who fought for America's independence,
00:49:45.360but also the prayers, the scriptures that have been interwoven into the DAR identity since the
00:49:54.120beginning, to me, seems completely opposed to what is happening now, this openness to accepting men
00:50:02.000who identify as women. So what is going on behind the scenes that could possibly push
00:50:08.000the organization in this direction? Well, we have uncovered in the last few years that there are
00:50:16.360members who hold state and leadership positions who do take the ideological position that trans
00:50:22.460women are women. So when we first found out about this, we weren't sure if it was just the DAR taking
00:50:27.860a defensive position because on the one hand, to one group of people, they make the claim that
00:50:33.640when I say one group of people, I mean people who think more like we all think here,
00:50:38.000They try to convince us that this is something we have to do because it would be illegal if we exclude these men.
00:50:44.000So so members are, for lack of a better term, maybe intimidated, maybe with their arm twisted to go along with this.
00:50:52.300But then you've got others, the president general herself, who are part of a very public Facebook page called Daughters for Inclusivity, who make the claim that trans women are women.
00:51:03.800And we found some internal documents that make that same claim that trans women are not men.
00:51:09.600Trans women live and identify as women.
00:51:11.220So once I was able to piece that together, I knew that it's like something I heard.
00:51:19.520I say our friend, he's your friend, Mr. Knowles, Michael Knowles, on his show the other day, the long march through the institution.
00:51:25.540That it's like an institutional takeover where I think they thought they were going to be able to get this in quietly and secretly.
00:51:34.480But now, since so many eyes are on it, they're being forced to own their ideology.
00:51:40.460So this push getting away from Christian values, too, is something else that we've uncovered.
00:51:45.780We didn't realize that until this came about.
00:51:48.580So Juliette and I, both Christians, our local chapters always prayed in the name of Jesus.
00:51:55.400And so we didn't put it together that there had been a move at the national level to remove the name of Jesus and to encourage chaplains to say, you pray in your faith as I pray in mine.0.59
00:52:07.540And sometimes we wonder, you know, have we put the cart before the horse by trying to rectify this situation of allowing men in the DAR before going back and correcting that?
00:52:16.800But we didn't know about that before this came to light.
00:52:20.140So we're not really sure when this push actually happened to try to get away from the D.A.R. being a religious organization.
00:52:29.520But history shows that it is indeed a religious organization founded on Christian principles specifically.
00:52:39.780You're right. The first Congress of the Daughters of the American Revolution was held in the Church of Our Father on Wednesday, February 22nd, 1892.
00:52:48.140It was opened with a prayer, and then there are different ritual options.
00:52:53.120Obviously, you all know about this much more than I do,
00:52:55.640but just telling the audience that includes 1 Timothy 6.20, Psalm 16.6, Deuteronomy 8.2,
00:53:03.600Psalm 33.12, and then a prayer that is very clearly a Christian prayer.
00:53:08.520It is not an all-faith prayer to the universe, but a Christian prayer.
00:53:12.960all right quick pause to tell you about our next sponsor and that is Javity and so if you are
00:53:23.060feeling like you have just run out of places to turn for answers about why you feel so fatigued

00:53:34.300functioning the way you need it to your doctors say you're fine you just are stressed you need
00:53:38.880more sleep, whatever it is, but you know that there could be something else going on. Or maybe
00:53:44.220you just want to optimize your health, make sure everything's good. Maybe you're on a journey,

00:54:59.340Alley, code Alley. Juliet, do you know whether the push to take out, you know, Jesus's name or
00:55:12.600to kind of this push for universalism within the DAR is coming from the same direction,
00:55:18.500the daughters for inclusivity, or is that something that y'all are still trying to figure out?
00:55:24.060that's an excellent question we're really not sure still trying to figure that out um i would
00:55:33.540speculate that that push to remove the name of jesus and to really start to adjust perspective
00:55:42.200with regard to the rituals and the scriptures being read and prayers being lifted up um i think
00:55:48.200that probably dates much before this inclusivity group. However, there's no real way for us to
00:55:55.640know what was going on in the background. So I'm not really sure. These things do seem to be
00:56:02.280intertwined, not just in this institution, but everywhere. The denial of Christ and the denial
00:56:09.300of the creator, and then also the denial of the basics of Genesis one, because all of those truths
00:56:15.120are interwoven. And so my opinion is that you're not putting the cart before the horse. You're
00:56:20.760taking them one thing at a time, but they also, they go hand in hand. They're different, but
00:56:26.220they are absolutely connected. So I imagine that all of this is what prompted the formation of the
00:56:33.540Daughters of the Restoration. Is that right, Laura? Yes, that's right. So when we first found
00:56:39.500out about this, we were significantly suppressed in our ability to communicate with other chapter
00:56:44.520members. We were shut down on the DAR social media pages. We were told emphatically that we
00:56:50.240cannot use our member directories to communicate with each other. There's a circularization policy
00:56:55.000that says members cannot spread a rumor or, you know, do anything to disturb the harmony, which
00:57:00.140again, like I've said before, is a great policy when implemented correctly, but should not be
00:57:05.500used as a cudgel to silence members to talk about legitimate things that are happening within the
00:57:10.140DAR. And members were even told, you can't even talk about this in a chapter meeting. Don't bring
00:57:15.040it up. And so Daughters for Restoration was born out of necessity. It started as a Facebook group
00:57:20.680just to start collaborating with like-minded members. And then it's grown into this 501c3.
00:57:27.220And now our purpose is to educate members about parliamentary procedure, the law, where we can,
00:57:32.780getting as many legal opinions as we can to dispel some of these things that our leadership has put
00:57:37.860out that we must do this or it's illegal. That's what restoration is about right now. But I do
00:57:44.260envision it becoming something bigger to not only restore the D.A.R. to being one for biological0.66
00:57:49.720women, but to restore the name of Jesus and our Christian values.
00:57:55.880And just to address one thing that you said, Laura, that there are some leadership who is
00:58:02.200acting like our hands are tied. We have to do this legally. We have to accept men. Is that true?
00:58:07.860It is not true. The DAR by virtue that the daughters of the American Revolution and discrimination has become a dirty word nowadays, but by nature, it is discriminatory in that there are specific requirements to be a member.
00:58:23.600You must be a woman, 18 years of age or older, with lineal descent of a patriot. That's not meant to be in any way anti anything other than this is a historic institution that has had eligibility standards since its founding.
00:58:37.860We know inherently that we have a First Amendment right to the freedom of expression and association.
00:58:44.700So what leaders have done, the National Board of Management, they had an attorney out of Michigan named Samuel Bagenstos, who's a very liberal trans activist, I would say.
00:58:56.000He wrote an opinion that was distributed to all the members at Congress.
00:58:59.560It was the only one that we were able to talk about during the debate that says that a local District of Columbia Human Rights Act trumps our First Amendment right.
00:59:10.560So because the D.A.R. is headquartered in Washington, D.C., they're saying our First Amendment right means nothing.
00:59:45.580And in fact, they surprisingly have sidestepped, I would say, some of our bylaws, some of the
00:59:55.260um, procedures and protocols that a typical organization would follow. Um, and so, yes,
01:00:01.880you are right. We are receiving a lot of pushback and a lot of heat. Um, but to the contrary, I will
01:00:07.720say we have also experienced, um, some great support, uh, and the more that the word gets out,
01:00:14.140they, um, senior leadership has done everything within their power to silence this. And, and
01:00:19.700to Laura's point has put out circularization policy that said, we cannot discuss it.
01:00:25.260Chapter Regents will even go to the point to tell their own members that it's forbidden to be talked about.
01:00:31.340And they shut conversations down on the local level and on the national level.
01:00:35.860However, with all of that, as we know can happen, God has really opened the floodgates that the information that was trying to be suppressed and silenced has flown and has really spread across the entire nation.
01:00:53.240And we are gaining, uh, support and like-minded ladies to step up and to gain courage because
01:01:00.940it's intimidating and they've done their very best to cast fear and intimidation in an attempt0.86
01:01:06.860to silence us. And, um, it's not really working. Wow. That's good. You know, Julie, I, I, I have
01:01:15.220to, I have to ask how big of a problem is this actually from the progressive side of things in
01:01:22.160that. Are there really a ton of men who identify as women who are trying to join the DAR? I'm just
01:01:30.320trying to even understand why this is a hill the leadership would want to die on.
01:01:38.020That is such a great question that we, um, and we're having a hard time wrapping our mind around
01:01:44.000it. So our organization was founded in 1890 after these founders, these ladies were forbidden,
01:01:51.160or not allowed to join Sons of the American Revolution.
01:01:55.840And so that was the very founding of this organization
01:03:47.480What's supposed to happen in October is a special meeting.
01:03:51.140We have more than tripled the requirement required for a special meeting.
01:03:56.540Our bylaws say at the request of 30 chapters in 10 states, the President General shall call a special meeting,
01:04:02.140which by its nature is set at a time different from that of any regular meeting.
01:04:07.160So we met that threshold at the first part of this year.
01:04:10.880And instead of giving us our meeting, per the bylaws, per Robert's Rules of Order, they added our resolution as a vote to Continental Congress.
01:04:19.580And that's what everybody's been hearing about for the past month or so.
01:04:23.280So we maintain that in order for our bylaws to have any meaning, to be upheld, that we must have that special meeting.
01:04:30.160Otherwise, this gets back to what we're talking about, the meaning of words.
01:04:34.660The word woman has a meaning, has a clear definition.
01:04:37.800A special meeting has a clear definition.
01:04:40.880What our leaders are doing are reinterpreting, they're amending those words by interpretation.
01:04:46.820They're just deciding that, no, we're not going to say that word means this.
01:04:50.000We're going to say it means that now because it suits us better.
01:05:01.780If there is no special meeting, that is a clear violation of our bylaws.
01:05:05.600So October the 11th, more than 115 chapters in 34 states at this point have sent a resolution to the president general saying, we want a special meeting at our headquarters in Washington, D.C. on October the 11th, 2026.
01:05:20.480That's the birthday of our founding, Columbus Day.
01:05:23.280And the president general has been silent.
01:05:27.920So as of right now, you don't know, Laura, if that meeting is actually going to happen.
01:05:34.200We have to operate under the mindset that it is going to happen. Otherwise, again, our bylaws mean nothing. The president general is silent. She is ignoring our many emails. So you can do without what you will. We cannot physically force her to call the special meeting.
01:05:53.040But if our bylaws mean anything, and if the resolutions of these chapters, these duly adopted resolutions mean anything, we have to operate under the mindset that there will be a special meeting.
01:06:03.840And, Allie, if I can say one thing, it's come to my attention over the last day or two that I get screenshots of our opposition, things that they're saying about us on the other side.
01:06:15.560I try my best not to look at what they're saying. But this idea has come about that there's some
01:06:20.020shadowy figure that's propping us up. Otherwise, how could, you know, small town East Texas
01:06:25.620chapter members get the attention of Allie Beth Stuckey, get the attention of the Center for
01:06:30.720American Liberty, get the attention of Representative Kline and all these congressmen
01:06:34.760that have signed on to this proposal to amend our charter. And the truth is there is nobody lurking
01:06:41.580in the shadows, but there is somebody in the light and his name is Yeshua, Jesus Christ,
01:06:46.760the son of God, the one who died for us.
01:06:48.160And we have called on him and asked for his blessing.
01:06:50.640And he is the reason all of this has happened.
01:06:53.100And we do believe that we will see the DAR restored.
01:06:56.200I believe that he is answering the prayers of those women who founded this organization
