00:00:00.000 Hey guys, welcome to Relatable. Happy Wednesday. I hope everyone has had a great week so far.
00:00:05.620 As you can tell from the title, we are talking about tyrants all around in the United States
00:00:11.100 of America. If you have heard of the series Little Fires Everywhere, it's on Hulu. It's
00:00:16.020 got Kerry Washington, Reese Witherspoon. That's where the title came from. Not Little Fires
00:00:21.620 Everywhere, but Little Tyrants Everywhere. We've got tyrants in the government. We've got tyrants
00:00:26.460 in the media. We've got tyrants in tech, tyrants in our education system. We are going to look at
00:00:32.900 a few examples of that tyranny today and what it means for our lives. It's a really fun and full
00:00:39.360 episode and I'm so excited to get into it. Okay, so what we're seeing right now in the United States
00:00:44.360 of America is a desperate power grab by the powers that be to exploit a crisis, to try to restructure
00:00:52.460 society, or to really just control society, to get the things done that a lot of people,
00:00:59.260 particularly on the left, want to get done. Bernie Sanders obviously is one of those politicians. He
00:01:03.940 wrote a piece in the New York Times titled, The Foundations of American Society Are Failing Us.
00:01:08.860 Of course they are. He has thought that for several decades now. Pushing for single-payer health care in
00:01:14.420 this article, raising the minimum wage in climate policy. But you know who is single-payer health care?
00:01:19.620 Bernie Sanders, Italy, Spain, China, places with horrific death rates, much worse than the United
00:01:25.860 States. When it comes to deaths per capita, just as a refresher, the United States comes in number 10.
00:01:32.520 Not great. Not great. I'm not saying that it's great, but also not the worst. It comes after Spain,
00:01:38.820 after Italy, after France, after the UK, after the Netherlands, after Sweden, all the places that,
00:01:45.220 by the way, Bernie Sanders has said for several years that the United States should mimic a policy,
00:01:52.960 specifically health care policy. So if you're going to say that the number of deaths in the United
00:01:57.680 States points to the fact that we need the same kind of health care as these countries with death
00:02:04.500 rates far higher than ours, you're just going to have to make a better case. You're going to have to
00:02:09.360 explain to me why the UK's and why Sweden's deaths per capita, why that number is higher than ours.
00:02:16.280 We're seeing this kind of rhetoric and this kind of behavior even from a lot of Democrats. This is an
00:02:22.440 opportunity, many of them say, to restructure our society. The left is using this crisis to further
00:02:29.340 show us their true colors. And their true colors, as it turns out, are all different shades of tyranny,
00:02:35.680 in case we didn't already know that. So cracking down on churches and even the kinds of worship
00:02:42.220 that we engage in, even drive-in services are being banned in some states. In one county,
00:02:48.060 in California, they are putting a limit on what kind of musical worship is allowed in a live stream
00:02:54.080 church service. This is real. So LifeSite News reports that in Mandacino County, I think that's how
00:02:59.940 you pronounce that. You guys always let me know when I mispronounce cities or counties. The local
00:03:07.180 government issued a directive specifying that for live streamed events, no singing or use of wind
00:03:13.320 instruments, no singing or use of wind instruments, harmonicas or other instruments that could spread
00:03:19.780 COVID-19 through projected droplets shall be permitted unless the recording of the event is done at one's
00:03:26.140 residence and involving only the members of one's household or living unit because of the increased
00:03:31.280 risk of transmission of COVID-19. So basically, no worship services where people are singing unless
00:03:36.880 you've got one person in their home that is leading worship, which isn't exactly how worship typically
00:03:43.360 goes when you are worshiping with your congregation, even from the comfort of your own home.
00:03:49.500 Thankfully, some places have changed course when it comes to the crackdowns
00:03:53.140 on churches and on worship. The PressEnterprise.com reported, spurred by a lawsuit and threats of
00:03:59.200 more litigation, Riverside and San Bernardino counties, these are in California, reversed course
00:04:04.260 Friday, April 17th, deciding to allow outdoor drive-up style religious services in which the faithful
00:04:10.780 park and listen to sermons from their cars. Oh, thank you so much, local authorities, for allowing
00:04:17.680 people to exercise their First Amendment rights. You guys are such gracious dictators.
00:04:22.080 Leftist media is comparing peaceful protests. This is another way we're seeing tyranny in American
00:04:28.940 society right now. Leftist media is comparing peaceful protests of the shutdowns to white
00:04:33.640 supremacist rallies. This is what they do, by the way, if there is any rally that is mostly
00:04:38.880 conservative, whether it was the Tea Party protest or whether it was just a few months ago, the protests
00:04:45.260 against Virginia legislation that would make it very hard for people, for certain people to purchase
00:04:50.360 guns. There were big rallies and protests in Virginia. They called it a white supremacist rally.
00:04:55.160 Had nothing to do with white supremacy. Obviously, there were a lot of people there who weren't even
00:04:59.660 white. Same thing with these protests. But this is what the media does. If you peacefully protest
00:05:04.700 against anything that they are for, then they're going to call you a white supremacist. They don't have
00:05:11.000 anything to say about Antifa, though. Facebook is actually taking down the posts of those peaceful
00:05:17.420 protests. So they are censoring the speech that's promoting these peaceful protests. Again,
00:05:22.760 peacefully protesting First Amendment rights. So leftists have proven to hate the First Amendment
00:05:27.560 if we didn't know that already. They are prohibiting, some of them prohibiting self-sufficiency.
00:05:33.080 That's what petty tyrant Governor Whitmer of Michigan is doing by banning the sale of gardening
00:05:37.720 seeds at the same time that she declares abortion procedures, quote, life-sustaining. Imagine how
00:05:44.700 backwards you have to be in your head, like how corrupted you have to be in your mind, how evil
00:05:49.480 you have to be, and perverse in your thinking to call a procedure that ends the life brutally,
00:05:55.940 violently, painfully, ends the life of an unborn child life-sustaining. Michigan was one of those
00:06:01.700 places where peaceful protests were happening. People were protesting against the unconstitutional
00:06:06.720 theft of their freedom and their livelihoods. And she said, Governor Whitmer said, if you keep
00:06:11.860 protesting, I'm going to extend the lockdown. What a tyrannical schoolmarm. Are you kidding me?
00:06:17.320 So I think that if I were doing a tiny tyrant contest, I think that Governor Whitmer of Michigan
00:06:25.260 would, I don't know if she would come in first because we've got some other tyrants to talk about.
00:06:30.160 It would probably be between her and Bill de Blasio, but I'll tell you about Bill de Blasio in just a
00:06:35.280 second. But she is way up there in the tiny tyrant contest. She is a DNC darling, by the way. She's not
00:06:41.400 some obscure figure. Obviously, she's the governor of Michigan, but the DNC Democratic Party loves her.
00:06:46.900 You might remember that she delivered the terribly uncompelling, and I'm not just saying this,
00:06:51.560 terribly uncompelling response to the State of the Union back in January. Now, listen, I'm going to
00:06:57.380 go off on a little Whitmer tangent here, but she deserves it. There is a disproportionately high
00:07:04.120 virus rate and death rate in Michigan. But here's the thing. Here's the thing. That doesn't
00:07:09.240 necessarily, one, it doesn't necessarily justify what she's doing across the state because there
00:07:13.780 are certain counties in Michigan that have no cases. Of course, where Detroit is, there are lots
00:07:19.800 of cases, but that doesn't mean that there should be a statewide ban on basically leaving your house.
00:07:24.820 She said you can't even travel between two residences, can't even go visit other family members.
00:07:30.500 Now, let's ask ourselves for a second. Why isn't the media asking her if her leadership tactics are
00:07:37.700 effective if her state has a disproportionately high number of cases and high number of deaths?
00:07:44.440 Why isn't she being criticized for what she's doing if it is apparently not working? Why isn't
00:07:50.260 she being criticized for the disproportionate problems that she is having in her state? Of
00:07:55.340 course, we know the answer to that. The answer is that she's a Democrat. But it's interesting how
00:07:59.740 she and the governor of New York, Governor Cuomo, a state that has by far the most cases and the
00:08:05.500 most deaths in the state, they're just assumed by the press to be doing the best they possibly can
00:08:12.040 and are assigned no blame whatsoever for the death rates in their state, for the chaos in their state.
00:08:18.100 It's assumed because they are A, Democrats, and B, because they're taking more authoritarian measures
00:08:24.780 that they're leading effectively and that the high death rates in their states are just inevitable.
00:08:28.560 That is no fault of their own. And yet, according to the same press, Trump is entirely to blame for
00:08:34.780 the number of cases and the number of deaths in the United States. So shouldn't journalists be asking
00:08:40.040 Governor Whitmer, why do you have such a disproportionately high number of cases in such a
00:08:44.860 high death rate? What's going on in your hospitals? What's going on in your communities? Does this point to
00:08:50.620 a lack of preparation, a lack of effective leadership? Governor Whitmer is being praised by the Democrats
00:08:57.360 for setting up a racial disparity task force. She said, while African Americans represent 13.6 of our
00:09:03.560 state's population, they represent a staggering 40% of the deaths from COVID-19. She's getting big
00:09:09.480 applause for this, for being apparently proactive in setting up this task force, but no one is asking
00:09:15.860 her, hey, why is this happening in a state that's under your leadership? The left claims that African
00:09:21.960 Americans are dying disproportionately because of systemic racism. So why is no journalist asking
00:09:28.960 her, how have you, Governor Whitmer, allowed that to happen in your state? But of course,
00:09:34.840 simultaneously, conservatives and Trump supporters are being accused of wanting Black people to be
00:09:40.720 killed because we all want to be able to go back to work as soon as is feasible to feed our families.
00:09:47.520 That's actually an argument that was purported, that was given on MSNBC, that Trump and that
00:09:56.060 conservatives, the people who are protesting, want Black people to die, and that is why some
00:10:01.740 white people apparently want to open up the economy. That's actually an argument that's being made,
00:10:06.720 but no one is asking why Governor Whitmer, why in her state there's a disproportionately high number
00:10:11.860 of Black people who are dying. No, no, no. It's just inevitable, and she's just doing the best she can.
00:10:16.900 No one asks these questions of Andrew Cuomo either. So let's move on from the subject of tyranny for
00:10:22.800 just a second to discuss the double standard of how the press is reporting on certain government
00:10:27.800 leaders. It's just constant praise of how wonderfully Governor Cuomo is handling this crisis and the
00:10:34.200 leadership skills that he's presenting. It still has to do with tyranny, by the way, because where
00:10:39.160 tyranny is, there's always corruption. There's a lot of corruption. There is a lot of duplicity when
00:10:44.220 it comes to Andrew Cuomo, and you would never know it from reading the headlines in the New York
00:10:48.740 Times or the Washington Post. So he is asking, Andrew Cuomo is constantly asking Trump to do more,
00:10:54.740 to give more funding, to give more money. He's saying that New York is in this state of disarray
00:10:59.640 exclusively because of the virus, but is that really true? I mean, is anyone asking Governor Cuomo
00:11:05.260 why they're in this position of so many people getting sick and so many people dying? Almost 14,000
00:11:11.220 deaths in New York and only a little over 1,000 in California, another very populous state in New York
00:11:17.300 City, over 10,000 deaths in LA County, only 617 deaths, very populous cities. Now we can probably
00:11:24.980 guess a few reasons for that. People live closer together in New York. The weather is worse in New
00:11:30.140 York, but that can't account for everything. So why is no one asking Chris Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo,
00:11:35.800 sorry, what's wrong with your state? What's wrong with your leadership? What's wrong with your
00:11:40.160 hospitals? Here's the fact. The state of New York was facing a budget crisis before all of this
00:11:46.180 happened. Back in November, the New York Post reported that New York faced a $6.1 billion hole
00:11:52.120 in their budget for this year. And Cuomo was planning on taking cuts to Medicaid rates for
00:11:57.360 hospitals and nursing homes to try to begin to make up for that. They failed to present a real plan
00:12:03.900 criticized Dave Friedfel, I guess that's how you pronounce it, of the Citizens Budget Commission,
00:12:10.160 a fiscal watchdog group. This is reported in the New York Post. They've known about this for a long
00:12:15.140 time, but the plan they did present is really one part gimmick. He added, his analysis shows the state
00:12:20.560 was already in trouble after pushing off a $1.7 billion Medicaid bill in March 2019 into 2020, which
00:12:27.480 grew into the $4 billion hole. So according to an article in the nation, which I've actually quoted
00:12:33.880 them a lot recently, I appreciate their honesty. They are a liberal commentary magazine. This is an
00:12:39.700 article by Ross Barkin titled Cuomo helped get New York into this mess. Governor Cuomo has long
00:12:46.060 mismanaged the budget and the Medicaid program. This article argues, um, and has reduced the size of
00:12:52.460 hospitals. So here's some excerpts from that article. Some of the budgetary abyss has been the
00:12:57.660 Cuomo administration's own making postponing Medicaid payments and failing in the past to iron
00:13:02.720 out inefficiencies like the state's paying Medicaid costs for relatively wealthy private hospitals.
00:13:08.060 They don't need the aid in the first place. What's more, the state has lost more than 20,000 hospital
00:13:13.560 beds over the last 20 years. Cuomo, who has governed for almost half that period, never advocated for any kind
00:13:20.840 of expansion of hospital beds until last month. He now, he now says that New York needs 110,000 beds
00:13:27.880 more than double the current capacity. He has never been a forceful advocate for keeping hospitals open.
00:13:33.220 In fact, he's empowered bureaucrats who have argued aggressively to shutter them in 2013, the Cuomo
00:13:38.920 administration approved the closure of the 500 bed Long Island college hospital in Brooklyn over loud
00:13:45.100 community protest. Cuomo has justified his cuts to Medicaid by saying, look, we have no money.
00:13:50.840 He's quoted by his representative in this article as saying, the state has no money. And NBC in New
00:13:57.880 York is reporting that both Cuomo and de Blasio, the incompetent mayor of New York City, and that is a
00:14:04.040 totally objective description, by the way, who recently told his constituents to send in a picture of
00:14:09.000 people violating social distancing orders in public so the authorities can show up. Talk about a tiny tyrant.
00:14:16.600 They are asking, these two are asking for tens of millions of dollars from the federal government.
00:14:21.640 The New York Times reported that Bill de Blasio pleaded to Trump for financial aid in a press
00:14:26.120 conference saying this. So my question is, Mr. Trump, Mr. President, are you going to save New York City or are
00:14:32.760 you telling New York City to drop dead? Which one is it? You are failing to protect the very people you grew up
00:14:39.320 around. But the truth is, New York was already in a budget crisis before all of this happened. Not just
00:14:45.800 because of Cuomo's errors, but also because of Bill de Blasio's. According to this 2017 article by
00:14:53.720 Nicole Gelnius in City Journal and National Urban Policy Journal, when Mayor Bill de Blasio took office
00:15:01.320 in January 2014, New York was halfway through a fiscal year in which it would spend $76.2 billion.
00:15:08.600 During the current fiscal year, which started July 1, 2017, the city will spend about $87.3 billion,
00:15:16.040 an $11.1 billion increase. Thus, Mayor Bill de Blasio's inaugural term has seen a 14.6% rise in annual spending.
00:15:24.760 Yet behind, this article goes on, yet behind the no fuss, no drama budgeting lurk serious risks.
00:15:31.480 To make his budgets add up, de Blasio has pushed much of the cost for past spending into the future,
00:15:38.280 making it tougher to cut spending while protecting public services in a future downturn.
00:15:43.080 The mayor has added tens of thousands of government workers to the city payroll
00:15:47.160 without tackling the reforms needed to get their future retirement costs under control.
00:15:52.200 And in a record boom, New York is still not putting enough money into critical infrastructure.
00:15:57.400 Finally, Gotham remains dangerously dependent on its top earners to fund its massive budget.
00:16:03.320 If the city's rich, or for that matter, the emerging world's new middle class who drive tourism,
00:16:10.120 don't continue to thrive, de Blasio or a successor will face a record budget crisis.
00:16:15.560 And of course, they are facing a budget crisis.
00:16:17.880 Or maybe, maybe they're facing this crisis that has nothing to do with President Trump
00:16:22.600 and really nothing to do with the virus because de Blasio directed 850 million taxpayer dollars
00:16:30.600 to his wife's mental health program called Thrive NYC.
00:16:34.840 That cannot be accounted for.
00:16:37.080 Meaning, his wife and the program she is leading, Thrive NYC, cannot tell you where the money has gone,
00:16:44.600 or if the program is effective or working at all.
00:16:47.880 Politico reported in February 2019 in an article by Amanda Eisenberg titled,
00:16:53.640 with opaque budget and elusive metrics, $850 million Thrive NYC program attempts a reset.
00:17:01.080 Her article says that the city hall budget shows $594 million in spending since Thrive NYC's inception.
00:17:07.960 The IBO budget shows $816 million spent.
00:17:12.520 Both city hall and IBO suspect the office of management of budget included fewer programs
00:17:17.400 in the city hall version accounting for the difference.
00:17:20.200 But the budget discrepancies illustrate the difficulty in tracking Thrive.
00:17:24.600 The article goes on to say that the reports published by Thrive don't show whether any goals
00:17:29.480 have been reached, whether Thrive is actually helping New Yorkers,
00:17:33.080 or what metrics are even being used to measure its success.
00:17:36.760 And yet the New York Post reports that the program is poised to spend
00:17:40.440 1 billion taxpayer dollars in five years.
00:17:44.280 Or maybe New York is running out of money because Bill de Blasio spent 773 million taxpayer dollars
00:17:51.400 on a program with the goal of turning around 100 of the city's lowest performing schools.
00:17:56.200 The program failed and was ended after four years and almost 800 million dollars spent.
00:18:03.560 By the way, just as an aside about education, we see this time and again the more funding,
00:18:09.000 that more funding does not necessarily equal better outcomes for students.
00:18:14.440 Obama pumped millions of dollars into failing Chicago schools to absolutely no avail, none.
00:18:20.120 Like you can look this up.
00:18:21.240 This is a very buried but existent article in the Washington Post
00:18:25.720 about how much money was spent in public schools by the Obama administration.
00:18:29.880 Literally no good outcome came from it whatsoever.
00:18:33.560 So more money to public schools just as an equal success.
00:18:36.520 But oh, whatever.
00:18:37.320 It's just 800 million of your taxpayer dollars, New York, New York City.
00:18:42.680 Bill de Blasio, and I'm trying to be as fair as possible here, is a total buffoon.
00:18:47.800 Like he's a total and complete buffoon.
00:18:50.200 Even Democrats will tell you that his presidential campaign was the most
00:18:53.560 cringeworthy thing that you've ever seen in your life.
00:18:55.560 And that's saying something because remember, Elizabeth Warren was once in the running too.
00:18:59.400 So what we're seeing, particularly in New York, where the virus is the worst in the country,
00:19:04.280 failed leaders are using Donald Trump as a scapegoat.
00:19:07.240 They know the media is not going to focus on the real failures that led to New York's current crisis.
00:19:12.280 They're just going to report that everything is Donald Trump's fault, that the blood is on his hands.
00:19:17.960 But let's face it, the coronavirus is the best thing that could have ever happened to Cuomo's
00:19:23.480 and de Blasio's political careers.
00:19:25.480 Because all of the budget mismanagement, all of the lack of accountability in their spending,
00:19:30.840 all of the cuts that Cuomo made to the healthcare system before the virus hit, will all be washed
00:19:36.120 away by the coverage of this pandemic.
00:19:38.520 And they can claim that their current and future state of disarray in the state is not just because
00:19:43.480 of the effects of the virus and the shutdown, but because Donald Trump refused to help.
00:19:47.880 And like I said, the media will aid and abet them in that narrative.
00:19:51.560 They will spin that narrative.
00:19:52.760 And they will say again, that all of this is on, uh, that is on Trump's hands.
00:19:58.440 Blood is on Trump's hands.
00:19:59.800 They will lay this at his feet.
00:20:01.560 The governor of New Jersey, going back to, uh, the petty tyrant theme of this episode,
00:20:07.800 was on with Tucker Carlson a few nights ago.
00:20:10.200 Tucker asks him where he gets the power to tell people when, where, and how they can worship,
00:20:15.800 considering we have something called the Constitution of the United States.
00:20:19.320 Here's how that went.
00:20:20.280 15 congregants at a synagogue in New Jersey were arrested and charged for being in a synagogue
00:20:27.160 together.
00:20:28.200 Now, the Bill of Rights, as you well know, protects Americans' right and shrines their
00:20:34.680 right to practice their religion as they see fit and to congregate together to assemble peacefully.
00:20:41.560 By what authority did you nullify the Bill of Rights in issuing this order?
00:20:46.600 How do you have the power to do that?
00:20:48.120 That's above my pay grade, Tucker.
00:20:50.680 So I wasn't, uh, I wasn't thinking of the Bill of Rights when we did this.
00:20:54.360 We went to all, first of all, we looked at the data and the science.
00:20:57.720 Well, I can tell.
00:20:58.520 Above my pay grade, he says.
00:21:00.040 No, it's actually not above your pay grade.
00:21:02.200 It's actually not above your pay grade.
00:21:04.120 Is there a higher pay grade in the state of New Jersey that the rest of us don't know about?
00:21:07.720 Like, is there something higher than the governorship that the rest of the states,
00:21:11.320 we just, we're just not privy to that?
00:21:13.240 Could you let us know?
00:21:14.520 So they're just coming out and saying,
00:21:16.520 look, we're not thinking of the Bill of Rights.
00:21:18.200 We're not thinking about your rights at all.
00:21:19.640 We don't care about your God-given rights.
00:21:21.560 He goes on to say that he was thinking of science when he made this decision.
00:21:25.480 Well, here's the thing, and I'm going to take us on a short detour here,
00:21:28.600 but again, it all comes back to tyranny.
00:21:31.080 I'm going to say something that is very scandalous in this secular age.
00:21:35.320 Science isn't supreme.
00:21:37.960 Science isn't supreme.
00:21:39.800 We are not one nation under science.
00:21:42.200 We are one nation under God.
00:21:44.120 Our Bill of Rights isn't based on our science-given rights.
00:21:47.400 It's based on our God-given rights.
00:21:49.240 Our Declaration of Independence does not give us the right to life, liberty,
00:21:54.200 and the pursuit of happiness unless scientists say otherwise.
00:21:57.160 It says we are endowed with these rights by our Creator.
00:22:01.400 So the Bill of Rights indeed transcends science.
00:22:05.240 Now, true science, what can be verified with experimentation and conclusive evidence,
00:22:10.520 and God don't contradict each other.
00:22:12.680 Science is a good thing.
00:22:14.120 The Constitution was built upon what we know about human nature and the nature of power and
00:22:19.320 the nature of government.
00:22:20.600 But God is supreme over science, supreme over human nature, not the other way around.
00:22:26.680 But so much of today's science is not bound by objective truth.
00:22:31.240 It's bound by subjective politics.
00:22:33.560 The so-called science of climate, of gender and sexuality, and even pandemics
00:22:40.040 is largely driven by politics rather than objective reality and truth.
00:22:45.160 This is another reason why science cannot be the sole or even primary driver of policymaking.
00:22:52.040 This is a leftist buzzword, science.
00:22:55.080 They believe that that word alone saying science or scientific is a trump card to support all
00:23:00.360 their arguments and decisions.
00:23:01.960 But it's not.
00:23:03.080 First, because science nowadays, like I said, because of the way it's manipulated and politicized,
00:23:09.960 has become subjective, but also because fundamentally liberty is more important than science.
00:23:15.720 Morality is more important than science.
00:23:17.960 Like I said, our rights are not derived from simply science.
00:23:22.680 They are derived from God.
00:23:24.840 Science is subject to human fallibility.
00:23:27.560 God is not.
00:23:28.600 Therefore, a society that is built on the God of the Bible is far more stable and far more humane
00:23:35.000 and far more free than the society that is based on science.
00:23:39.640 The prevailing so-called science says that we have to stay inside until there's a vaccine
00:23:45.000 developed in 18 or so months.
00:23:46.920 Hey, maybe two years.
00:23:48.360 Who cares?
00:23:49.000 As long as it saves one life, right?
00:23:50.840 And presumably this will be a mandated vaccine.
00:23:53.560 I'm just assuming like if you want to work, you have to get a vaccine.
00:23:56.760 They're already pushing for something called ID 2020, not a conspiracy theory.
00:24:01.080 It's real.
00:24:01.560 You can look it up.
00:24:02.360 That would give everyone a digital ID that would show up on your fingerprint.
00:24:05.960 That would be, I assume, I think it's injected through a vaccine.
00:24:11.080 Show up on your fingerprint to prove that you've been vaccinated.
00:24:13.560 Uh, that is the exclusively scientific perspective on all of this.
00:24:19.320 That is the perspective that views human beings as nothing more than bodies and the
00:24:23.880 coronavirus, just another medical problem to solve.
00:24:26.760 That's why they're okay with saying, okay, well, we have to do whatever it takes to solve
00:24:30.520 this exclusively medical problem. That's the one dimensional, uh, conclusion.
00:24:35.240 The materialistic worldview leads you to, but it's not reality.
00:24:39.320 The reality is that human beings are not just bodies.
00:24:41.800 Therefore our only threat is not just the virus.
00:24:44.600 It's not just a medical or physical threat.
00:24:47.160 Human beings are people with souls.
00:24:49.320 We have spiritual needs.
00:24:50.840 We have social needs.
00:24:52.040 We have moral needs.
00:24:53.080 We are built for community.
00:24:54.680 We are made to work.
00:24:56.040 We need jobs, not just for financial stability, but for morale to fulfill the innate, uh, necessity
00:25:03.000 for productivity that God placed in all of us.
00:25:06.360 And we are made for freedom.
00:25:07.960 That is a natural desire born in all of us.
00:25:10.280 The desire for enterprise, for independence, for freedom.
00:25:14.440 I've told you guys in my online women's book club that I'm doing on Facebook and Instagram,
00:25:19.640 we are reading right now, uh, a book called nothing to envy and it's about everyday life
00:25:24.040 in North Korea.
00:25:25.080 And we read about the famine that happened in the 1990s where so many North Koreans died
00:25:31.400 because of the depravity of the corruption and the incompetence of the communist regime
00:25:37.240 in North Korea and how finally these illegal markets broke out.
00:25:42.520 So any kind of capitalistic endeavor, any kind of entrepreneurism was strictly prohibited is
00:25:49.240 strictly prohibited, but in this book was strictly prohibited in North Korea.
00:25:53.240 You could be deported to a concentration camp for committing what they called economic crimes.
00:25:59.560 And so they had these black markets, these secret black markets that were set up to where people
00:26:05.560 would sell and barter and trade just to be able to survive.
00:26:09.640 Now, these are people who had never learned about supply and demand, who had been indoctrinated
00:26:16.760 from the day they were born about the evils of capitalism and the virtues of communism.
00:26:21.960 And yet driven by desperation, driven by a natural desire and drive to survive, they all became
00:26:31.960 capitalists.
00:26:33.160 That's because capitalism, freedom, enterprise, entrepreneurship,
00:26:38.520 the desire to work, the need for productivity to provide for yourself and not to just live off
00:26:43.160 the government dole is innate.
00:26:44.840 It's actually communism and living off the government that has to be taught and controlled
00:26:49.160 and indoctrinated.
00:26:50.360 It is a desire for freedom and a desire for liberty and self-sufficiency that is natural,
00:26:55.960 that is part of the human spirit.
00:26:57.320 I mean, that is so evident when you look at a place like North Korea that had never learned
00:27:01.240 anything about capitalism.
00:27:02.760 And yet, because of the need to survive, they all became capitalists.
00:27:06.760 They probably didn't call themselves that, but they became that naturally because that's
00:27:10.680 what it took to survive.
00:27:12.360 And so people are not just bodies that need their physical needs met.
00:27:17.720 We have needs that go far beyond that.
00:27:20.600 But the multidimensional needs of human beings and therefore society are only realized when we
00:27:28.120 see human beings the right way as purposeful people that are made in the image of God,
00:27:33.080 inherently valuable, deserving of the rights he gave us that the government is not supposed
00:27:37.240 to be able to take away arbitrarily.
00:27:39.480 And yet that's what happens when you build societies based on a materialistic point of view,
00:27:45.160 a materialistic worldview, only that which you can see rather than building them on God.
00:27:49.560 And not just any idea of God, but the Christian God, the only true God, the God of the Bible.
00:27:54.120 And this is why, by the way, I don't trust atheists to run any organization meant to help people.
00:28:00.680 I just don't.
00:28:01.560 It's primarily why I don't trust Bill Gates.
00:28:04.040 I don't trust the UN.
00:28:05.080 I don't trust the WHO.
00:28:06.840 These are all left-wing, godless entities who claim to be led exclusively by science
00:28:13.960 and are thus concerned with overpopulation and are willing to advocate for the taking away of
00:28:20.120 all rights and liberties you have in order to push their quote scientific agenda.
00:28:24.920 It's also why we don't allow scientists and doctors to dictate American policy.
00:28:31.240 They're important as advisors, and we should listen to them when it comes to all the things
00:28:36.040 that are truly in their purview, but they don't understand the economy.
00:28:39.640 They're not supposed to.
00:28:40.600 That's okay.
00:28:41.480 But we don't need to take their economic advice.
00:28:43.400 They don't have in mind the needs of the people that go beyond the physical and the medical.
00:28:48.520 Our leaders and our lawmakers are supposed to have that holistic perspective.
00:28:52.920 The governor of New Jersey is supposed to have that holistic perspective.
00:28:56.600 He is supposed to not only have the Bill of Rights in mind when he is deciding policy,
00:29:01.080 he's to abide by the Bill of Rights.
00:29:02.840 He's supposed to submit to it.
00:29:04.280 Remember, the Constitution is a check on the government's power.
00:29:07.720 It is to restrict what the government can do, not what we can do.
00:29:11.080 All of our government leaders are supposed to be submitting to the Bill of Rights,
00:29:15.400 and many of them are not, which is exactly why you see the protesting right now.
00:29:20.680 And I support the protest.
00:29:22.360 Now, do I think that you guys should be wearing masks and that you should be socially distancing,
00:29:27.720 that you should be, I mean, physical distancing?
00:29:30.520 That's really a better way to say it, farther apart from one another.
00:29:33.960 Yes, I do.
00:29:34.920 I have from the beginning taken this virus seriously, and I urge us all to take the virus seriously.
00:29:39.960 It's not some hoax.
00:29:41.160 It's not some walk in the park.
00:29:42.760 I can read that from, if you go to the Samaritan's Purse accounts to where they are treating all of
00:29:49.080 these people who are in the ICU, by the way.
00:29:50.920 So these are very serious cases.
00:29:52.600 We see that it's not just, you know, a cold.
00:29:55.640 It's not just a flu.
00:29:56.520 It is a very serious virus.
00:29:58.200 So, of course, I want everyone to take this seriously.
00:30:00.840 I want you protesters to take this seriously.
00:30:02.840 But I absolutely support your First Amendment right to peacefully protest.
00:30:07.480 I want you to take proper precautions, but I want you to protest.
00:30:11.240 It is your right to protest.
00:30:12.440 And shame on Facebook for suppressing posts that give information about these protests.
00:30:17.000 That is more similar to something that would happen in communist China than it should be
00:30:21.240 in the United States.
00:30:22.520 Our founding documents are based on the idea, the correct idea, that our rights are inherent,
00:30:28.200 that they are baked into our humanity, including the right to peacefully protest.
00:30:32.040 The government didn't give them to us, and therefore the government cannot arbitrarily take them away.
00:30:37.240 And yet, here we are.
00:30:39.480 Unfortunately, as I say, little tyrants everywhere.
00:30:41.880 Let's see.
00:30:42.680 Next on our list of little tiny baby tyrants everywhere, Governor Northam of Virginia.
00:30:48.360 Now, you might know him as both the buffoon who advocated for infanticide on the radio,
00:30:53.880 and the guy, or the guy, who is still in office after a yearbook photo of him was released
00:30:59.720 in KKK robes.
00:31:02.280 Tucker Carlson literally refers to him as Governor Blackface Klan robes.
00:31:06.520 And I can't help but laugh every single time he does.
00:31:08.440 He just straight face calls him Governor Blackface Klan robes, which by the way, just an aside,
00:31:13.960 if you're not watching Tucker Carlson's monologue every night, you need to be doing that.
00:31:18.840 I don't agree with Tucker on everything.
00:31:20.280 I don't agree with anyone on everything.
00:31:22.440 But he, I've always loved his show, and especially lately in this whole coronavirus thing, he is a
00:31:29.320 great example of a check on power.
00:31:31.080 Like, he is really good at holding the elites in this country who are supposed to be, or the
00:31:37.000 government leaders who are supposed to be serving the people that are supposed to be public servants.
00:31:41.080 He is really good at checking their power and holding them accountable.
00:31:43.560 So you need to be watching this monologue every night.
00:31:45.400 I always do.
00:31:46.120 Anyway, Governor Northam of Virginia has also utilized the pandemonium of this pandemic to sign
00:31:52.040 into law two egregious pieces of legislation.
00:31:54.600 Here's an excerpt from the article in National Review titled Ralph Northam's
00:31:58.760 Transformation of Virginia by John Hirschauer.
00:32:01.640 Like many people of faith, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam spent last weekend bearing witness
00:32:06.040 to his convictions.
00:32:07.400 On Good Friday, he signed the Reproductive Health Protection Act into law, which among other
00:32:13.240 things waived the 24-hour waiting period, pro-adoption counseling, and mandatory
00:32:17.560 ultrasound that had been previously required for women seeking abortions.
00:32:21.400 On Holy Saturday, Northam signed the Virginia Values Act, a bill recognizing sexual orientation
00:32:27.000 and gender identity as protected categories under Virginia's anti-discrimination law.
00:32:31.560 As has happened in other states with similar laws, the bill imperils the conscience rights
00:32:36.200 of people of faith, as well as those who remain unconvinced that a man could become
00:32:39.960 a woman just by saying so.
00:32:41.400 On Easter Sunday, Northam wrested from all the work that he had done.
00:32:44.920 The abortion law also says that non-doctors can perform abortions.
00:32:49.960 So not only is this making more accessible the procedure that kills a child, it's also
00:32:57.160 less safe for women.
00:32:58.680 The Virginia Values Act makes sure that bakers will be required to make transition cakes for
00:33:05.000 transgender people or else they will face a lawsuit.
00:33:07.960 Uh, high school-aged girls will have to compete with men, with boys who identify as girls.
00:33:14.120 So they will have to compete for scholarships with their, what the article calls testosterone-laden
00:33:19.320 competitors.
00:33:20.360 So that's what tiny tyrant, little tyrant in Virginia, Governor Northam is up to right now.
00:33:26.600 So just remember, pay attention.
00:33:28.520 When there's a lot happening in front of our faces, a pandemic, people losing jobs, livelihoods,
00:33:33.880 the will to live in many cases, it's easy to forget that there's a lot going on behind the
00:33:39.000 scenes.
00:33:39.320 These governors and lawmakers are leveraging our distraction and desperation to accomplish
00:33:44.120 what they want to accomplish, no matter what you think about it.
00:33:48.040 The media, of course, is supposed to be a check on power, and not just Republican power,
00:33:52.840 but all power.
00:33:54.120 But most of them have long since abdicated that responsibility and truth as a principle
00:33:58.600 as paying the price, and consequently, so are we.
00:34:00.760 But tyrants aren't just in the government or in tech and media, they are also in our
00:34:05.480 education system.
00:34:06.520 A lot of you guys asked me to talk about, to talk about this.
00:34:10.840 There's an article in Harvard Magazine by Aaron O'Donnell titled, The Risk of Homeschooling,
00:34:16.120 which outlines what Harvard professor Elizabeth Bartholet thinks about homeschooling.
00:34:21.800 You should really read the article.
00:34:23.260 By the way, it's such a clear look into the tyrannical nature of progressivism, just how desperate
00:34:28.520 they are to own and indoctrinate our children.
00:34:31.400 Bartholet believes that, quote, homeschooling not only violates children's right to a meaningful
00:34:36.440 education and their right to be protected from potential child abuse, but may keep them from
00:34:41.160 contributing positively to a democratic society.
00:34:44.040 She argues that homeschool could lead to the cover-up of child abuse.
00:34:47.960 She doesn't actually cite that it does.
00:34:50.200 She doesn't show any statistics or any studies that it does.
00:34:53.400 She doesn't give any kind of evidence to her assertion.
00:34:57.080 She also doesn't mention the existence of abuse within the public school system, which
00:35:00.920 happens to be rampant, but she says it could happen, and that's really dangerous.
00:35:05.880 She also points out this very frightening fact about homeschooling.
00:35:10.600 She notes that parents choose homeschooling for an array of reasons.
00:35:14.360 Some find local schools lacking or want to protect their child from bullying.
00:35:18.440 Others do it to give their children the flexibility to pursue sports or other
00:35:22.280 activities at a high level.
00:35:23.720 But surveys of homeschoolers show that a majority of such families, by some estimates up to 90%,
00:35:30.120 are driven by conservative Christian values and seek to remove their children from mainstream
00:35:39.880 culture.
00:35:40.520 Bartholet notes that some of these parents are extreme religious ideologues who question science
00:35:46.840 and promote female subservience and white supremacy.
00:35:50.040 Oh, conservative Christian values.
00:35:52.920 Oh, no.
00:35:53.960 How scary these kids are going to learn about things like the Bible, like God, like morality,
00:35:59.240 and maybe even the Constitution.
00:36:01.560 What a tragedy.
00:36:02.600 That's so frightening.
00:36:03.320 We have to stop it right now.
00:36:04.680 And I love how she just equates white supremacy to being a conservative Christian.
00:36:09.400 Oh, yeah, that's fine.
00:36:10.360 We're just supposed to not along.
00:36:12.920 Yes, that's definitely true.
00:36:14.440 Conservative Christians, white supremacy, all the same thing.
00:36:17.000 As if Christians didn't end the slave trade behind William Wilberforce.
00:36:21.320 As if Christians aren't on the front lines against every single human rights violation
00:36:26.120 throughout history and around the world right now.
00:36:28.440 Oh, yeah.
00:36:29.160 No, totally, definitely white supremacist conservative Christians.
00:36:33.080 She's just assuming that her audience is so dumb, so insulated, and so ignorant, naive
00:36:40.200 to the people that aren't like them.
00:36:41.480 That they're just going to say, oh, yeah, that sounds about right, Elizabeth.
00:36:46.120 She argues that the government has a right to educate our children and expose them to ideas.
00:36:51.080 Really?
00:36:51.720 What right is that?
00:36:53.000 Where does the government get that right?
00:36:54.920 Where do you find that so-called right?
00:36:57.480 The government doesn't have a right to your children at all.
00:37:00.200 Your children don't belong to the state.
00:37:02.600 Every totalitarian regime, by the way, this is what happens.
00:37:06.280 The children become wards of the state.
00:37:08.120 Read about Pol Pot's Cambodia, where family units were broken up, children were recruited
00:37:14.120 to serve the state, brainwashed from a young age to become obedient little communists.
00:37:18.440 Do you know how that worked out, not just for the children, but for the entire nation?
00:37:22.440 Look up Khmer Rouge and the killing fields, and you can learn a little bit more about that.
00:37:27.080 She says in this article, the issue is, do we think that parents should have 24-7,
00:37:31.160 essentially authoritarian control over their children from ages zero to 18?
00:37:35.960 I think that's dangerous.
00:37:37.480 Bartholet says, I think it's always dangerous to put powerful people in charge of the powerless
00:37:42.760 and to give the powerful ones total authority.
00:37:45.480 How ironic.
00:37:46.360 What do you think public school is?
00:37:48.120 First of all, this woman knows nothing about parenting and apparently nothing about public
00:37:51.800 school.
00:37:52.520 Like I said, what does she think goes on at public school?
00:37:55.320 Authoritarian control.
00:37:57.240 Someone is going to raise children.
00:37:59.720 Someone is going to raise children.
00:38:02.520 Children have to be raised.
00:38:03.640 They have to be taught.
00:38:04.920 They have to be cared for.
00:38:06.360 Someone is going to instill them with values.
00:38:09.160 Who do we think is better for that job?
00:38:11.720 The parents who love them.
00:38:13.560 The parents who would do absolutely anything for them.
00:38:15.960 Who either adopted them or had them themselves and have known them from the second that they
00:38:23.240 entered the world.
00:38:24.200 The parents that would lay down their lives for them a thousand times.
00:38:28.520 A parent who would give anything for their child without even thinking about it to make
00:38:34.040 sure that they had a happy and successful life.
00:38:36.520 Who do you think is better?
00:38:38.280 Those parents or the state which runs public schools who doesn't care about your child,
00:38:43.880 doesn't know your child's name, doesn't love your child, isn't going to shed a tear if your
00:38:48.120 child gets cancer or lives or dies, doesn't care if your child makes it to college except for
00:38:52.760 just being able to add it to their statistics.
00:38:55.240 And by the way, a state that believes in left wing moral relativism, who is going to teach
00:39:00.040 your 11 year old daughter about anal sex and masturbation.
00:39:03.400 Yeah.
00:39:03.960 Who do you think is better?
00:39:05.400 You or that state?
00:39:07.400 Uh, that's not to say, by the way, that there aren't, uh, very caring teachers.
00:39:13.000 Of course there are.
00:39:13.640 I know that there are many of you out there who are very caring public school teachers.
00:39:17.240 You're doing a great job, of course, uh, but teachers, no matter how wonderful you are,
00:39:22.040 and there are a lot of bad teachers too.
00:39:23.560 I know you know that, but no matter how wonderful you are as a teacher,
00:39:27.000 you just can't love and care for your students the same way that parents can.
00:39:31.560 It's impossible.
00:39:32.360 You can't know what's best for every child the way that a good mom and dad does.
00:39:36.360 Uh, Bartholet believes that if parents want permission to opt out of schools,
00:39:39.400 the burden of proving that their case is justified to follow the parents.
00:39:43.240 No, parents don't have to prove anything to the state that they should be able to
00:39:48.200 homeschool their kids.
00:39:49.400 Government, kids are not yours.
00:39:52.360 Like you don't own these kids.
00:39:54.280 You don't know them.
00:39:55.480 You don't love them.
00:39:56.440 You don't know what's best for them.
00:39:58.040 Are there bad parents?
00:39:59.160 Yes, there are bad parents.
00:40:00.200 Are there parents who shouldn't homeschool?
00:40:01.960 Yes, there are parents that shouldn't homeschool.
00:40:03.880 Is there a reason for accountability for reporting?
00:40:08.200 And, uh, even in cases where there is abuse, is there a reason?
00:40:13.320 For CPS to show up?
00:40:15.080 Yes, of course.
00:40:16.280 But this article offers no statistics to prove that's what's happening in the world of homeschooling.
00:40:21.800 Let's look at the data.
00:40:23.000 Oh, lovers of science.
00:40:24.680 Show me the data that says homeschool kids aren't graduating from high school,
00:40:28.360 aren't going to college, aren't becoming contributing members of society.
00:40:31.960 Please.
00:40:32.280 I'd love to look at the standardized test scores or literacy rates or graduation rates of
00:40:37.720 homeschoolers versus public schoolers.
00:40:39.720 Oh no, she doesn't want to look at that.
00:40:41.320 I know she doesn't want to look at that because that blows her case absolutely out of the water.
00:40:45.960 The picture that was on this article, by the way, is a little poor homeschool kid inside
00:40:51.000 looking out her window, which has prison bars on it of all the fun public school kids that are
00:40:56.840 jumping rope and playing around.
00:40:59.000 And she's inside her poor homeschool prison, which by the way, the opposite is the truth.
00:41:04.680 Like public school kids have what, 30 minutes, maybe an hour a day of playing homeschool kids
00:41:10.760 go out all the time.
00:41:11.960 Like they're always doing nature walks, going to museums.
00:41:15.640 They have a lot more experience than public school kids do.
00:41:20.120 Public schools are, public school kids are mostly chained to a desk all day.
00:41:23.800 And by the way, I thought this was funny.
00:41:26.440 On the side of the house in the picture has like, uh, four books.
00:41:29.800 So like Bible, math, reading, arithmetic, arithmetic was spelled incorrectly, which I thought was
00:41:37.320 on purpose to try to, uh, tongue in cheek say, oh, like homeschoolers are dumb and they're,
00:41:44.120 they're so dumb that they can't even spell correctly.
00:41:47.640 Um, but I think it was an accident because then they changed it, which is just ironic that you
00:41:53.720 couldn't even get it.
00:41:54.920 You couldn't even spell it correctly on an article that says that homeschool kids are
00:42:01.000 dumb and aren't well-educated enough.
00:42:03.160 Uh, we're not even planning to homeschool.
00:42:05.800 Like my family isn't necessarily, but you know what?
00:42:08.760 Maybe we will, maybe we will.
00:42:10.440 This is what the left does and what they don't understand.
00:42:12.920 They're constantly overplaying their hand.
00:42:14.680 They push people further in the other direction.
00:42:17.480 Your tyranny encourages, encourages people to resist your obsession with controlling our lives.
00:42:24.040 And you don't understand that they cannot get that through their thick skulls.
00:42:28.760 Every time you talk about overpopulation, there's at least one Christian conservative
00:42:33.240 couple that's like, that's it.
00:42:34.200 I'm having 10 kids.
00:42:35.560 Every time you talk about, you have to send your kids to homeschool.
00:42:38.840 You have to send your kids to daycare.
00:42:40.360 You have to teach your kids the things that we want you to teach your kids.
00:42:43.960 There's a couple out there.
00:42:45.160 That's like, you know what?
00:42:46.200 I think I never wanted to homeschool, but I think I'm going to homeschool now.
00:42:50.200 This is why people are resisting the pandemic policies that have no correlation to the spread
00:42:55.480 of the virus.
00:42:56.200 The policies against playing parks or going outside, even if you're six feet apart,
00:43:00.760 the policies against buying plants.
00:43:03.080 That's why people are resisting it because you push it too far.
00:43:05.880 The left constantly overplays their hand, but maybe it's a silver lining in all of this.
00:43:10.280 We're seeing what totalitarians you guys really are.
00:43:13.240 We're seeing what tyrants you guys really are.
00:43:15.080 And I hope more and more people are sick of it.
00:43:17.480 And I hope you carry this energy, protesters and resistors against this tyranny into November.
00:43:23.720 And there's another reason.
00:43:25.240 There's another reason why we don't trust the powers that be, why we don't trust the so-called
00:43:30.680 elites in this country, the media, people at Harvard, which by the way, this woman works
00:43:35.800 at Harvard.
00:43:36.440 Why doesn't she go work at a public school?
00:43:38.040 She's working at a private school if she thinks public schools are so great.
00:43:41.080 Anyway, another reason why we can't trust you guys is because we know that you don't
00:43:47.640 have our best interest at heart.
00:43:49.000 AOC said this when oil prices were dropping so low the other day, people were talking about
00:43:53.640 it on Twitter and saying, wow, a lot of people are going to lose their jobs.
00:43:56.280 Like places like Midland, Texas, they're going to be seriously hurt by this.
00:43:59.160 Well, AOC tweeted, you absolutely love to see it talking about this.
00:44:03.880 This along with record low interest rates means it's the right time for a worker-led mass
00:44:08.920 investment in green infrastructure to save our planet.
00:44:11.480 She says cough in it between asterisks.
00:44:14.040 What does that mean?
00:44:14.920 Cough.
00:44:15.240 Are you making fun of coronavirus?
00:44:17.080 Like, what are you talking about?
00:44:17.960 Plus, I don't think you understand how oil prices work.
00:44:21.560 I don't think you understand how any of this works, but we'll just disregard that for a
00:44:25.080 second and look at the fact that you absolutely love to see it.
00:44:28.840 Like you love to see people losing their jobs.
00:44:31.080 You love to see people's livelihoods going up in flames.
00:44:33.640 But yes, she does.
00:44:34.600 That's the answer.
00:44:36.120 She does.
00:44:36.920 She's motivated by ideology, not your well-being.
00:44:39.880 And things like this just confirm people's fears of the elites.
00:44:42.360 And yes, AOC is an elite, cannot be trusted.
00:44:46.360 Jake Tapper of CNN said this, practically every day, I see a tweet or blog post about someone
00:44:52.200 who wrongly thought COVID-19 was a hoax dying of COVID-19.
00:44:55.720 And all I can think about are the members of the media and the politicians who misinformed that
00:44:59.960 person and who assuredly feel zero responsibility.
00:45:03.240 Well, I hope that you're talking about the people on your station, on MSNBC, the WHO,
00:45:08.040 the Chinese Communist Party, who all said this was no big deal, who said that the flu is far
00:45:12.680 more dangerous, who said some of the organizations, the WHO, who said there's no human-to-human
00:45:18.360 transmission, a parroting propaganda, who said that Trump is a xenophobe for his Chinese ban
00:45:25.560 and for his European travel ban. For all of you who said that and focused on that, like,
00:45:31.080 are you launching that accusation at them or are you just talking about Trump and Fox News?
00:45:36.040 And secondly, no, Jake Tapper, the reason people think coronavirus is a hoax, which you and I,
00:45:42.360 Jake Tapper, we're in agreement that it's not, is because tiny tyrants everywhere are enacting
00:45:48.200 policies that don't have anything to do with public health and everything to do with control and
00:45:51.880 slamming Trump. And I don't know, maybe it's also because your colleague, Chris Cuomo,
00:45:57.800 has been sick with coronavirus and has been seen traveling, driving to his other property in East
00:46:05.000 Hampton while he was contagious. At least while we think he was contagious, while he still had
00:46:09.240 coronavirus and his wife had coronavirus. He was called out by a guy on a bicycle who saw him,
00:46:14.680 who Cuomo later in a radio interview called a loser. So that's cool. That's not quarantine.
00:46:20.040 Same with George Stephanopoulos. A week after announcing he tested positive, while his wife
00:46:25.000 was still positive, or after his wife was positive with COVID-19, he was out and about on a walk. He
00:46:31.480 was actually seen at a pharmacy and one of his neighbors snitched on him. And also, let's hear
00:46:37.480 how all of these people get over it. Like, I'm sure some people would like your tips and advice,
00:46:42.280 or are you guys all of the important people? Are you guys privy to some kind of treatment that the
00:46:47.240 poor plebeians aren't? They would never tell us if that were true. They don't want us to know. They
00:46:51.800 don't care. Meanwhile, Trump is doing some good things like halting all immigration, which is just
00:46:57.240 common sense, right? Like, it's common sense. If we have a large number of cases, it makes sense to
00:47:02.040 take care of those that we have and eliminate any risk of the virus coming in again from the outside,
00:47:08.360 right? Now, this is probably going to be watered down. Some people are saying that there is
00:47:12.520 disagreement within the administration that Jared Kushner is pushing for exceptions. Apparently,
00:47:18.760 that's what's being reported right now as I'm recording this. But Trump is trying to put a
00:47:24.600 ban on immigration, a temporary ban on immigration for the time being. Again, just common sense. Well,
00:47:29.400 the media, of course, is up in arms. The same media who has said that Trump isn't doing enough,
00:47:33.720 that he's not being authoritarian enough. Don Lemon on his show had the mayor of LA, Eric Garcetti,
00:47:39.640 saying this is not an immigration problem. This is a public health problem, not an immigration
00:47:43.640 problem. As if those things are mutually exclusive, you raving idiots. Beto O'Rourke,
00:47:48.600 coming in hot on Twitter, saying this is anti-immigrant. And there are so many valuable
00:47:54.840 people here who are immigrants. Okay, I'm going to just say, I regret calling,
00:47:59.080 I regret calling Don Lemon and Eric Garcetti idiots. I shouldn't have said that. So I'm just going to
00:48:03.640 in real time say that I apologize for saying that. That was too harsh. These are idiotic things to say.
00:48:10.680 I won't say that they're idiots. So please forgive me. I should have been more gracious on that.
00:48:16.360 Back to Beto O'Rourke, who used, he's so cool and he's super edgy because he used F words. He said,
00:48:24.760 what the F, what the F is going on? Who the F do you think is going to be doing all of the things
00:48:32.200 that immigrants do in our communities if we ban immigration? What are you even saying, bro? Like,
00:48:37.800 what are you even saying? What does that have to do with temporarily halting immigration while we deal
00:48:42.760 with the deadly virus? I thought y'all cared about not overwhelming our hospital system and people
00:48:47.480 staying healthy. This doesn't have to do with being anti-immigrant or anti-immigration. So your plan
00:48:53.880 is let me just get this straight for Beto O'Rourke and all the media that are making a big deal about
00:48:58.680 this. Let me get this straight for everyone, for everyone to stay in their homes. That's your plan
00:49:03.480 for everyone to stay in their homes, to lose their jobs, to go without a paycheck indefinitely, be
00:49:08.120 quarantined indefinitely, except the people that are immigrating here. They should travel.
00:49:12.040 Does that, does that sound good? Do you see why people don't trust you guys? Isn't it obvious why people
00:49:18.760 don't think that you have our best interests at heart? Little tyrants everywhere, I tell you. Little,
00:49:25.640 little, little tyrants everywhere. Okay, that's all we have for today. Hope you guys enjoyed it. I will be
00:49:29.880 back here on Friday.
