00:00:00.000 Well, hello again, everybody. I hope everybody's having a good day whenever it is that you're
00:00:13.760 watching or listening to this. And this will be coming out on the weekend as we do every
00:00:19.560 other week. Allie's had some really great shows this week. If you didn't get the opportunity
00:00:24.900 last week to listen to her interview with Kevin Roberts from the Heritage Foundation.
00:00:30.800 Oh, that was just, it's really a good analysis of the conservative movement and where we
00:00:35.680 are today and some of the challenges.
00:00:37.280 Allie is such a really good interviewer, and Kevin is a very good interviewee.
00:00:42.900 And so if you have a chance to watch that, listen to that, I think you'll really, really
00:00:46.120 enjoy that.
00:00:46.980 We're going to have a lot of election-related talk today because we're in the middle of
00:00:51.700 kind of primary season. And when we talk about primaries, we're talking about, you know, the
00:00:56.520 Democrats vote for their selected people they want to run in the November election. The Republicans
00:01:01.960 do the same thing. And so there's a lot of that going on. In fact, here in Texas, we had some
00:01:07.960 runoffs after our primary. So we couldn't even get to a majority in the original primary vote.
00:01:13.600 We had to have a runoff. And we'll talk about that in just a minute. But before I do that,
00:01:17.320 something happened in the last few days that I thought was pretty interesting.
00:01:20.720 And this happens. All the parties do this is that after a big election, they kind of do an autopsy of what happened.
00:01:27.060 And the Democrats did that for their 2024 election.
00:01:30.600 The Democrat National Committee did, and they commissioned an internal review to analyze what went wrong.
00:01:37.180 Now, the report was delayed because Ken Martin eventually announced that he didn't want to release it because he didn't really want to distract from what's coming up in the midterms.
00:01:47.180 So CNN actually had a report on this and they they obtained a copy of the report and they published it.
00:01:54.540 And but they said it was incomplete and contained some factual errors.
00:01:58.760 The DNC itself added disclaimer saying it could not verify many claims because supporting interviews and data were missing.
00:02:07.520 So they were trying to distance himself from it right off the bat.
00:02:12.320 And but here's a few things that the report said that I thought were interesting.
00:02:16.740 The report said to grow, we must admit and accept some hard truths about our party.
00:02:22.180 Talking about the Democrat Party.
00:02:23.680 Since the high point of the 2008 Obama landslide, remember, that's when he beat John McCain in 2008.
00:02:30.180 We have we have when he received 10 million more votes than John McCain, the Democrat Party has vacillated between stagnation and retrogression, which is not good.
00:02:41.100 In doing so, we have lost the confidence we once received from everyday Americans.
00:02:45.840 And election results show it. In the 16 tumultuous years since the historic election, Democrats have lost ground at every level of government.
00:02:55.500 So conservatives, you're doing a really good job of getting engaged, even in your local political scene, because when they say every level, they're meaning all the way down to the city council, the school boards.
00:03:08.220 We've been talking about that for years now, that that's where you start your involvement.
00:03:13.200 And the Democrats did such a good that good job at that for years.
00:03:16.800 But we have been encouraging Republicans and conservatives to do that.
00:03:20.100 And it looks like you're doing that. So good job on that.
00:03:23.260 The report also noted that the Biden administration did not do enough to support Kamala Harris.
00:03:29.920 You know, it's interesting how people never want to take responsibility.
00:03:33.900 And Kamala is one of those that never wants to take responsibility.
00:03:37.280 and the people around her don't want her to take responsibility.
00:03:40.900 This report said that the White House did not effectively support Vice President Harris
00:03:46.020 over three and a half years to improve her standing before the candidate switch.
00:03:50.740 Well, no vice president is in the limelight, or rarely are they in the limelight.
00:03:57.360 I know J.D. Vance is doing a lot of important work,
00:04:00.720 but he's not out there in front of the camera all the time, and that would be pretty rare.
00:04:05.140 The other reason I think the White House didn't do that was because they were planning on Joe Biden running again.
00:04:11.080 So what was the need for them to be promoting Kamala Harris during that time period?
00:04:16.240 The late switch to Harris limited messaging and organizing options produced predictable results.
00:04:23.320 Also, it says now this is interesting.
00:04:25.480 They get critical of the Harris campaign here.
00:04:27.400 The Harris campaign appears to have relied on Trump being unacceptable rather than building an affirmative case for Harris.
00:04:35.140 And we'll talk about that a little bit more when we talk about the Texas race.
00:04:38.840 But that's something to remember.
00:04:40.280 When you're running a race, yes, you need to point out your opponents where they're not as good at.
00:04:50.240 But you need to really spend most of your time promoting what you're good at.
00:04:54.400 And they did not do that with Vice President Harris.
00:04:57.880 What we need to do as a party, they say, is we need to focus less on abstract issues and identity politics and connect with voters on issues they say matter most, including the economy, disaster relief, addressing housing, affordability.
00:05:14.900 Now, that's the same message that the Republicans need to pay attention to.
00:05:19.260 Quit focusing on identity politics, you know, where, you know, if you're not 100 percent with me, then you must be a rhino, Republican in name only.
00:05:27.060 And I'm sure they call them dinos on the other side.
00:05:30.320 You got to focus on what the voters are interested in.
00:05:34.200 And remember, most voters, they do have a value system.
00:05:37.420 Like for a lot of us that are pro-life, that's something that's really important.
00:05:40.920 We would never vote for a, you know, a candidate when we have a choice that is not pro-life.
00:05:47.500 But the most common things are people's pocketbooks.
00:05:51.620 That's what they're the most interested in, in their own personal safety and the safety of their communities.
00:05:56.780 So you have to pay attention to that.
00:05:58.880 Now, again, Harris also wrote off Rule America, that she assumed that the urban and suburban
00:06:06.300 margins would be enough to compensate.
00:06:08.840 But they didn't realize that Donald Trump was such a good campaigner out in the hinderlands
00:06:15.000 or the flyover states in America.
00:06:18.920 And Kamala just never paid much attention to that.
00:06:22.500 And that ended up costing them for sure.
00:06:25.300 The other thing is, is that, you know, you remember this one Trump ad that says Kamala is for they, them, but I stand for you.
00:06:33.860 That evidently was the most effective ad of the whole campaign.
00:06:38.080 And she never changed her position on that whatsoever.
00:06:42.020 And, you know, that she said she didn't she wouldn't change anything that President Biden did, which was a which was a problem.
00:06:49.460 Now, our friend, Senator Chris Van Hollen, you remember, he's the guy that went down to visit with the illegal alien that had been trafficking, allegedly trafficking humans and what have you.
00:07:02.620 He had a lot to say about this report.
00:07:07.480 This is a very shoddy piece of work.
00:07:09.440 It's an incomplete piece of work.
00:07:11.240 And I can understand why Ken Martin was reluctant to release it earlier.
00:07:15.600 But as he has said, he owns this problem.
00:07:18.780 He should have just ripped the Band-Aid off earlier and put it out.
00:07:22.180 No, we're six months from a very important election, and we should not be changing horses at this time.
00:07:29.740 I will say that the overall thrust of the report indicates that, you know, we should not just go back to the pre-Trump status quo.
00:07:39.520 Well, I mean, it's going to be interesting to see what the Democrats do.
00:07:48.340 Now, I think their playbook is going to be what happened in Virginia.
00:07:51.560 Remember the lady that won the Virginia governorship in the last couple of months?
00:07:57.160 She campaigned as a moderate, and then she has governed far, far to the left.
00:08:04.900 And I think that's what you're going to see at a lot of the candidates.
00:08:08.180 In fact, you'll probably see that in the U.S. Senate race here in Texas.
00:08:12.020 So let's get into that just a little bit as well.
00:08:15.600 You know, Senator John Cornyn, who is a senior senator from Texas, was in a runoff against the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
00:08:25.780 And that was held this week, the runoff.
00:08:28.800 So they went through the primary.
00:08:30.340 Nobody got a majority.
00:08:32.000 So they ended up going to a runoff because in Texas you have to have at least 50 percent plus one vote.
00:08:37.480 And so they had that this week. And Attorney General Paxton, he overwhelmed him, as you can see on the screen here, almost 64 percent to 36 percent for Cornyn.
00:08:50.520 And again, I've told you this before, that both of these men are conservative. I supported Cornyn in this particular election.
00:08:57.440 But I believe that both of them will would either one of them is going to vote like we would want them to if they if they went in November.
00:09:05.280 And that's not a foregone conclusion that they're going to win in November.
00:09:11.000 Attorney General Paxton has a lot of personal baggage that the Democrats are going to try to take advantage of.
00:09:18.000 Now, I will tell you, once this runoff was over, all right, I will fully support Attorney General Paxton.
00:09:26.500 And I hope that you would do that as well if you live here in Texas.
00:09:29.500 Because when you compare him to, and we have a couple of screenshots of him, when you compare General Paxson to Tallarico, which we're also going to bring up on the screen here in a minute, there's just a huge difference in what they believe in.
00:09:47.940 Tallarico has had some pretty far out statements on what he believes in, and it's very disappointing.
00:09:55.560 He, you know, he believes that there are six different genders.
00:10:00.960 He believes that women should be able to get an abortion right up to the end of pregnancy.
00:10:07.200 I mean, he's a far, far left.
00:10:09.300 He was totally against.
00:10:10.400 He tried to torpedo school choice.
00:10:12.860 He didn't want disabled children and their families to have a choice of where they went to school.
00:10:18.200 He is owned by the unions.
00:10:19.940 He'll be owned by the billionaire Hollywood donors.
00:10:23.480 And so we have got to rally behind our U.S. Senate candidate, if you're a Republican, and go for him.
00:10:29.840 And remember, Tallarico is a state representative.
00:10:35.040 And so Representative Tallarico, when you want to come on this show, you've been invited, but your people keep avoiding us.
00:10:42.580 What are you afraid of?
00:10:43.900 Allie is a really fair interviewer.
00:10:46.380 So please, I'm begging you, please agree to come on Allie's show and let's talk about the biblical facts that that you like to talk about so much.
00:10:57.520 So there were other races also that went on around the country, these primaries that are going on.
00:11:04.580 And those are interesting as well.
00:11:06.620 In fact, if you remember in Louisiana last week, Senator Bill Cassidy, which I think we have a shot of him, was one of three people that were in an elect runoff election or in an elect primary election, and he was defeated.
00:11:22.920 And so there's two left in the election.
00:11:25.680 So the incumbent was defeated, which is pretty unusual.
00:11:28.860 I mean, even the corn and losing, that's pretty unusual.
00:11:31.160 The incumbent getting beat.
00:11:32.700 And he lost to Julie Letlow, who's a congressman, congresswoman, and then state treasurer John Fleming are now going to be in a runoff election to see who's going to be the Republican nominee in November and will likely win in November.
00:11:49.140 Either one of these, again, are conservative. Trump has gotten behind Letlow. Fleming's a business person. Letlow, if you remember her story, her husband was a congressman and died, and then she ran for his seat.
00:12:00.760 So either one of those are going to be conservative, but we should follow that race.
00:12:06.600 You know, Trump endorsed Attorney General Paxson after early voting had already started in Texas,
00:12:12.440 which is very, very late.
00:12:14.120 It's hard to tell what impact that had, but certainly Trump in these primary elections
00:12:19.240 through so far this year has been very successful.
00:12:22.180 Remember, five different state senators in Indiana were defeated by Trump-endorsed opponents,
00:12:28.720 which is pretty hard to do. Also in Kentucky, Trump's old nemesis, Congressman Thomas Massey,
00:12:37.240 which I think we have a shot of him as well. Here he is. He was defeated by Ed Galleran and
00:12:42.580 Challenger was backed by the president. So and again, Mr. Massey, this is this is an example
00:12:48.260 I'm going to talk about in just in just a second of what's happened to both Republican and Democrat
00:12:53.560 parties. So it's very interesting as to what I think the analysis is. In Georgia,
00:13:02.800 Georgia has two Democrat senators. How does that even happen? But they do. It's a very
00:13:08.560 conservative state. It's Representative Mike Collins and former college football coach Derek
00:13:15.520 Dooley are the Republicans that are in a runoff on June the 16th. And you remember Derek Dooley,
00:13:23.120 If you're a Georgia person, then you would remember that name.
00:13:25.800 The Dooley named Vince Dooley was the quarterback.
00:13:28.120 I mean, sorry, not quarterback, but the coach of the Georgia Bulldogs for many, many years.
00:13:32.720 And his son is a coach as well.
00:13:35.200 And so he's running along with Representative Mike Collins.
00:13:39.160 And they're going to face the current incumbent, Democrat John Ossoff.
00:13:43.900 And he is super liberal as well.
00:13:46.700 And we're going to see what happens with that race.
00:13:49.080 I hope that the Republicans can pull out the victory in here, but, you know, you just don't know.
00:13:56.660 It's hard to believe, but Georgia hasn't had a Republican senator since 2016.
00:14:02.840 They haven't elected one to the Senate since 2016.
00:14:05.740 That's hard to believe, but let's watch and see how it happens.
00:14:10.380 Trump has not endorsed in this race yet.
00:14:12.460 I assume that he will at some point in time.
00:14:16.560 I'm surprised that he hasn't, but we'll see what happens on that.
00:14:21.820 Now, also, it's interesting, you know, we talk about on this show a lot, and we get frustrated with it.
00:14:26.500 In fact, Allie talked about that with Kevin Roberts, is that, you know, why is there so much infighting in the Republican Party?
00:14:33.700 And there is.
00:14:34.440 I mean, it's, you know, Kevin mentioned that it's because we have a big tent.
00:14:39.660 And when you have a big tent, you allow people in that don't share 100% of what you believe.
00:14:45.660 And that's what the big tent philosophy is. The Democrats are also having some of the same problems.
00:14:51.480 In fact, the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee has actually gotten involved in primary races, which is Democrat on Democrat.
00:14:59.100 And that's pretty unusual. Most of the time that doesn't happen.
00:15:01.840 Most of the time they'll stay out of that and just help in the general election.
00:15:05.340 But they've got involved in in primary elections, which is very unusual.
00:15:11.940 And what some of the other groups are saying is that, hey, the Democrats don't need that.
00:15:18.320 The committee doesn't need to get involved in that.
00:15:20.740 They need to let the voters decide in the primaries.
00:15:23.880 But they said that we want to.
00:15:26.780 And I've talked about this before.
00:15:27.840 So they think the same thing for the Democrats.
00:15:30.120 They say, look, we got to find the people and support the people that best have the chance to win in November.
00:15:34.400 I say the same thing about Republicans.
00:15:36.260 When you're voting in the primary, think about who in the primary has the best chance to win in November.
00:15:42.940 That's what that's the people that you want to vote for. But here's kind of what's happened.
00:15:46.780 So there are two main Republican, I'm sorry, two main parties, political parties in the United States, Republicans and the Democrats.
00:15:55.280 There are other fringe parties. The most the most recognizable ones are the Libertarians, which would tend to fit on the right side.
00:16:04.660 And then the Democrat, the Green Party, which would tend to be on the far left side.
00:16:10.480 I think what's happening, and this is just my supposition, but what I think's happened after watching this over years is that both of these parties, the Green Party on the left, they can only ever get three, four or five percent of the vote.
00:16:23.440 So they really can't move the needle right as a party themselves.
00:16:28.360 The Libertarians on the right side, they really can't move the needle on themselves at all because they may get, you know, six, seven, eight percent of the vote.
00:16:38.800 So they can't move the needle separately, OK, on their own.
00:16:42.340 So what's happened is, is on the Republican side, Libertarians have infiltrated the Republican Party and they are they want to come across as conservative, which they are conservative.
00:16:57.520 in a, in a, in a, some sort of a definition, but really libertarians don't want any government
00:17:04.320 at all. Conservatives say we want limited government, but we do believe there are places
00:17:10.320 where the government can help society. All right. And they best serve, for example,
00:17:15.660 building roads is a good example of that, or maybe even having a, a true safety net for the disabled
00:17:21.700 or the elderly the green so they've had to in order to get anything done they've come inside
00:17:28.220 and disguised themselves as republicans conservative republicans and therefore
00:17:32.840 and that's kind of part of this populist movement as well and they're willing to put up with the
00:17:39.080 spending that president trump is doing because he certainly is not a conservator when it comes to
00:17:43.720 spending because he supports him in so many other things the green party has done the same thing
00:17:49.680 inside the Democrats. They've come inside the Democrat Party, and that's how the Democrat
00:17:54.060 Party has moved so far to the left on a lot of the Green New Deal, environmental things, even
00:18:00.720 the transgender issues, all of those. So these groups are moving both the Democrat and the
00:18:08.320 Republican Party away from the center, all right? They're moving away from the center,
00:18:12.880 and there's not a lot of room left for people to be in the center of either party.
00:18:19.680 and that's disappointing, but it is what it is.
00:18:23.260 So we need to follow that closely, and we'll keep an eye on it for you as well.
00:18:27.520 So that's kind of a political update I wanted to give to you.
00:18:32.060 A couple of more items, though, that I want to talk about before we get into some questions from you,
00:18:36.640 the listeners, which, again, this week are outstanding.
00:18:39.660 But some of you may have heard about last week that there was a 69-year-old Army veteran,
00:18:46.540 Mr. Sherron, Kerry Sherron, that lives in Southern California.
00:18:51.260 In fact, he lives in the same neighborhood as some friends of ours live in, lives in Escondido.
00:18:56.280 And he is absolutely pro-America, pro-Trump house.
00:19:00.240 And we'll show some stuff here in a second.
00:19:02.520 But he died after he was brutally assaulted outside his home.
00:19:07.100 He was hospitalized in critical condition several days before he passed away.
00:19:11.220 Here's a picture of him right here.
00:19:12.460 He's a Vietnam veteran.
00:19:13.520 You can see the flags in the background. According to prosecutors, the attack happened last week near his home, which had reportedly been the target of complaints and vandalism for years because of its pro-Trump displays.
00:19:29.320 So you can see this is outside his home. It's obviously very pro-American.
00:19:33.440 And I get some people may not want that looks a little maybe over the top for some people.
00:19:38.440 But so evidently this guy by the name of Caleb Butler, and I think we have a picture of him as well, that he's a former.
00:19:46.000 He was in the Navy for a while, but he just ran up to him, punched him, causing Mr.
00:19:51.800 Sharon to fall to the ground and then kept hitting him multiple, multiple times.
00:19:56.600 In fact, a bystander came by during the assault and he was also injured.
00:20:01.520 He was later charged with attempted murder.
00:20:03.820 But since Mr. Sharon has passed away, the San Diego County District Attorney's Office is now reviewing whether they should be upgraded following the death.
00:20:13.260 Ms. Sharon's wife, Maria Garcia, had a comment on the whole thing and how frustrated and disappointed it is.
00:20:22.720 Maria thinks it may be because of the political signs and flags they have outside.
00:20:27.100 A lot of people, you know, they don't like the flags.
00:20:29.820 I don't know why, you know, I support America.
00:20:34.480 My husband is a veteran.
00:20:37.260 Yeah, that's very disappointing.
00:20:39.520 Now, you know, some people are saying this guy had PTSD.
00:20:43.980 And the PTSD is a real thing.
00:20:46.480 No question about it.
00:20:47.480 So I don't want you to ever think I'm downplaying that.
00:20:49.840 But I also think that some people, I'm not saying this guy did, but it's possible.
00:20:54.520 Some people just hide behind that to be able to go out and justify doing some pretty evil acts.
00:21:01.700 And this is evil.
00:21:03.500 I hope this guy goes away for the rest of his life.
00:21:06.080 I mean, it just should not happen like that.
00:21:08.700 We'll keep up with this story and report back to you on this as well.
00:21:12.920 Another crazy thing that happened is, you know, it's amazing.
00:21:17.140 You can't say anything these days without somebody criticizing you.
00:21:20.400 And President Trump was at a rally and he had, which is pretty common for presidents to do, had a celebrity slash athlete introduce him.
00:21:30.780 And the athlete is quarterback Jackson Dart. He is a quarterback for the New York Giants.
00:21:36.820 He was at and they were at Rockland Community College in New York where Trump was given an economic speech.
00:21:42.480 And here's the introduction. What an honor. What a privilege it is to be here.
00:21:47.980 And without further ado, I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump.
00:22:00.900 And I'm proud to be an American
00:22:04.100 Where at least I know I'm free
00:22:07.660 And I won't forget the men who died
00:22:11.560 Who gave that right to me
00:22:13.540 Oh, man, I love that song.
00:22:16.080 I love that song.
00:22:16.780 A little bit of a tangent here.
00:22:18.180 So I was at an event a few years ago.
00:22:21.320 Lisa and I were at something called
00:22:23.360 the Horatio Alger Awards event.
00:22:25.700 And a friend of ours was given
00:22:28.320 the Horatio Alger Award that year,
00:22:30.180 one of about six or seven people, and they had Lee Greenwood come in and sing that song. We were at
00:22:36.160 one of the government buildings in D.C., but at the same time he sung that song, they released an
00:22:43.520 eagle to fly. I think it was an eagle. It could have been a falcon, I guess, but there was an eagle
00:22:48.000 fly through the crowd, okay, over the top of us when this song's being sung. It was fantastic.
00:22:54.420 It really was. But anyway, so this whole kerfuffle that's come up about Jackson Dart introducing President Trump and his criticism he's got, which we're going to go over in a minute.
00:23:06.540 But athletes and celebrities do this all the time. They do it all the time.
00:23:11.320 Remember what Kamala did with Beyonce and and, you know, bringing them up, having her down in Houston and all that type of stuff.
00:23:18.020 I mean, that is very, very common. And it doesn't even mean that Jackson Dart agrees with everything that President Trump says or everything that he does.
00:23:27.060 It probably means that he's a supporter of his. But so what? It's OK for that to happen.
00:23:32.400 In fact, when the left does that, they think it's OK. But when someone on the right does that, they don't like it at all.
00:23:39.460 In fact, Giants linebacker Abdul Carter was not happy with his teammate, but he did say, and this is what they should do, if he's got a problem, they should talk about it privately, which they have done.
00:23:50.760 He and Darter have talked about it, and everything, the air has been cleared.
00:23:54.140 But now former Fox Sports 1 host, Emmanuel Acco, who also, I believe, was a player at one time, he thought that while I support him being able to, you know, endorse any political figure, he has the right, the teammates have the right to give him greed for that.
00:24:12.800 And that's right, too.
00:24:14.540 But come on.
00:24:16.380 Is it really that big of a deal?
00:24:18.020 Here's what Acco had to say.
00:24:20.840 Here is my issue.
00:24:22.640 Jackson Dart, you know how several of your brothers, your teammates, your friends, your rider dies, how they might feel about this individual.
00:24:31.160 So I don't think there's a lot of wisdom or discernment in very publicly supporting an individual who many of your teammates feel offended by.
00:24:43.060 Are you kidding me?
00:24:45.160 What about people that were offended by some of Kamala Harris's positions
00:24:50.320 or President Obama's positions or Joe Biden's positions, okay?
00:24:54.280 What about if their teammates that were offended by that?
00:24:57.160 That doesn't mean that somebody can't go out there and support somebody else
00:25:01.240 because they're – is everybody a snowflake now?
00:25:04.080 Are all of these big, tough NFL people snowflakes because it hurts their feelings?
00:25:08.340 They're offended by something that somebody else supports?
00:25:11.580 I mean, that just drives me crazy.
00:25:14.640 And, of course, we could never do a segment about being offensive without bringing in our lady friends from The View.
00:25:22.040 For somebody to back a guy like Trump, whose history in discrimination and racism goes back to housing discrimination.
00:25:29.920 In the 70s.
00:25:30.520 In the 70s.
00:25:31.380 dei attacks and and posting pictures of the obamas as apes when he's on a team that's 55
00:25:39.400 percent to 60 percent the nfl is that many people that much percentage of black people
00:25:45.180 blacker that that is just the definition of stupidity and racist in my opinion
00:25:50.580 oh joy joy joy joy do you have any joy i don't think she does what do y'all think i don't think
00:25:58.100 joy bear has any joy she might want to change her first name uh you know do they believe every
00:26:08.040 person of color um hates trump do they believe that is that what they really believe that the
00:26:15.620 voting numbers didn't show that and so so what if there's 60 percent uh people that are on the team
00:26:22.320 or people of people of color your color doesn't have anything to do it's what your belief is what
00:26:27.240 is your belief? What do you believe about, you know, the economy? Or what do you believe about
00:26:33.140 pro-life? Or what do you believe about, you know, the Iran situation? Those are all important policy
00:26:39.500 discussions to have. But the fact that somebody has a pigmentation in their skin that's different
00:26:44.720 than somebody else's is the craziest argument ever. But there is a double standard. And if you
00:26:50.620 guys will remember colin kaepernick who was an nfl quarterback not standing um during the national
00:26:56.980 anthem i didn't see anything being said about that that was offensive to americans not just
00:27:01.960 his teammates to americans all over and then also lebron james he's endorsed multiple democrats he's
00:27:07.560 endorsed barack obama which has the right to do hillary clinton joe biden and kamala harris
00:27:11.940 all of that was in his right but was there any outrage over that none at all and then former u.s
00:27:17.780 women's soccer player, Megan Rapone, is she is someone that has been way far left and very
00:27:30.080 outspoken, but nothing ever has said in a negative way about her by the media. So it's just really
00:27:38.500 crazy. And then finally, I don't know if any of you know the head coach for the Golden State
00:27:44.720 warrior Steve Kerr but he's been an outspoken critic in fact he had to take something back
00:27:49.240 a couple of weeks ago he said I can't remember what it was but he he had to take something back
00:27:53.660 off of that so anyway what I'm saying is is that it's okay and it's common for celebrities athletes
00:28:02.380 to go out and be at a rally or something like that and we shouldn't uh judge them because they
00:28:10.140 do that. Now, we may not agree with their politics, okay? And we may not care about what
00:28:16.860 they think. In fact, I don't really care about what any of them think politics one way or the
00:28:20.820 other. I care about what they do on the field. That's what I care about. And nobody seems to
00:28:27.520 understand that. If it's on the Trump side or conservative side, again, I want to remind you
00:28:32.100 all this. When President Trump is gone, don't think that the media and the left won't be as
00:28:38.880 hard on the next Republican president or presidential candidate. They'll be just as
00:28:43.200 hard. How that person fights back, I don't know, but they'll be just as hard, no question about it.
00:28:48.280 They were just as hard on Bush as they are on Trump, and they're going to be, whoever the
00:28:53.680 conservative is, they're going to be against them. All right, real quickly here before we get into
00:28:57.280 questions. I just wanted to give you a little bit of an update on the Iran war. Hasn't been a lot
00:29:01.080 going on lately? Obviously, they're talking. Over the weekend, the U.S. did launch some self-defense
00:29:06.080 strikes against our Iranian mine laying boats, which we need to do that because we're out there
00:29:12.120 putting mines in the Strait of Hormuz. So we did stop some of that. But did you realize,
00:29:21.260 when do you think the last offensive attack by the U.S. was on Iran? When would you think that
00:29:28.880 the last kind of major offensive attack, that was February 28th.
00:29:35.260 It's been almost three months, or actually been over three months now,
00:29:40.160 that we've really gone in there and been, quote unquote, at war.
00:29:46.200 Now, the Israelis have done some stuff, not in Iran,
00:29:49.440 but to some of their proxies like Hezbollah and Hamas and what have you.
00:29:53.620 The ceasefire has been around since April the 8th,
00:29:56.240 And that's held together pretty well.
00:29:59.240 It's been we think it's been violated by Iran.
00:30:02.680 But we're still talking, trying to get something, trying to get something done.
00:30:06.980 Marco, the Secretary of State Marco Rubio said we're still pushing, pursuing diplomacy.
00:30:12.820 But if the talk fail, America will deal with Iran in another way.
00:30:17.000 He also stated the Strait of Hormuz has to be open one way or another.
00:30:23.160 And that is so true.
00:30:25.060 And I told you about this a few weeks ago, is that we do have precedents where the U.S. Navy has led ships through places like the Strait of Hormuz.
00:30:36.320 And we started to do that, and then we stopped, and supposedly it still paused.
00:30:41.320 I hope that we would start that back up.
00:30:43.980 I'm not sure why we're not doing that, but I'm hoping that we'll start that back up.
00:30:49.660 We need to get that straight open.
00:30:51.040 That will reduce oil prices and will help gas prices at the pump.
00:30:57.080 So we just keep an eye on that.
00:30:58.960 We'll keep looking at it.
00:31:00.320 And, you know, what the Iranians want is they want the $24 billion that's frozen in assets.
00:31:06.660 We, of course, got to open the Strait of Hormuz.
00:31:10.720 You cannot enrich uranium to a military-grade level.
00:31:17.220 And, of course, we want to verify, have independent inspectors go in there and verify that they do not have any enriched uranium or any nuclear warheads.
00:31:28.060 So, anyway, we'll keep an eye on that.
00:31:29.760 It's still important.
00:31:30.920 It's still keeping gas prices up, and I know that hurts people to do that.
00:31:35.080 But I do believe that the sacrifice that we're having to make right now is the right thing to do to keep someone, keep a country like Iran, who's the largest sponsor of terrorism in the world, from having a nuclear weapon that could hurt us or our friends.
00:31:52.940 So keep an eye on that.
00:31:54.240 Keep praying for that.
00:31:55.660 You know, Ali talks about his God's perfect plan is going off without a hitch, and that's continuing to happen.
00:32:01.340 If you read any of the Old Testament reading in Ezekiel and things like that,
00:32:06.000 these are some signs.
00:32:07.560 Now, who knows when the end days are going to be here?
00:32:10.200 You know, Jesus is going to come as a thief in the night.
00:32:12.820 There's no way for any of us to know.
00:32:15.060 Here's what it says.
00:32:15.980 Here's what you also know.
00:32:17.000 If somebody says that Jesus is coming tomorrow, you can almost bet that he's not
00:32:21.060 because it says nobody's going to know.
00:32:23.480 It'll come as a surprise to us like a thief in the night.
00:32:26.600 And we pray that that'll be sooner rather than later.
00:32:29.960 But while we're here, we have a job to do.
00:32:32.100 We have families to take care of.
00:32:33.560 We have the message to spread.
00:32:36.120 And that's what we need to be focusing on.
00:32:38.300 Now, let's get into some questions here in our last few minutes that we have.
00:32:41.800 And we've got a lot of good questions.
00:32:43.440 I've got some time where I can go over these.
00:32:45.480 I think you'll enjoy this.
00:32:46.560 All right.
00:32:47.840 What expectations do you have for your children to care for their brother with special needs?
00:32:52.980 As I think most of you know, if you're new listening to this, you may not know that we have three children.
00:32:58.240 Justin, our oldest.
00:32:59.340 Allie's our youngest.
00:33:00.160 In the middle of that, we have a 41-year-old son, Daniel, who has autism and also epilepsy.
00:33:06.060 And so he lives with us and is pretty independent, but not independent enough to live on his own for multiple reasons.
00:33:13.760 The main one right now is epilepsy.
00:33:15.560 And so it is the number one fear that parents have when they have children with disabilities is what happens when we're no longer here.
00:33:24.100 Because Daniel's likely to outlive us.
00:33:25.620 He doesn't have any other health issues that we know of.
00:33:30.040 And while we have got things set up for him right now financially, pretty well financially,
00:33:36.840 somebody's still going to have to be paying attention to him.
00:33:39.980 He can't be just left out on his own.
00:33:41.680 He can't be just put in a home on his own.
00:33:44.900 And so, I mean, Allie and Justin both know that that's a responsibility that will fall to them.
00:33:51.620 and I feel very confident that between the two of them,
00:33:56.280 and I think it'll take both of them
00:33:57.800 because both of them have their own families as well.
00:34:00.180 They both have kids and other stuff going on,
00:34:03.480 but I believe that they'll work together with Daniel.
00:34:06.680 Where his living situation will be, I don't know.
00:34:09.760 Hopefully, at least one of them will have some property
00:34:12.260 where they could have a little house or something for him on their property,
00:34:15.880 and we'll have enough financing for him.
00:34:18.840 that if he needs an aid, then we could be able to do that.
00:34:21.940 But yes, they will be taking care of them.
00:34:24.600 And I do expect them to do that.
00:34:26.100 I do believe that's part of their responsibility.
00:34:30.860 What's my point of view on kids listening
00:34:32.580 or watching secular music TV shows
00:34:35.080 like Disney classics and things like that?
00:34:38.360 I think you have to just monitor all of that.
00:34:40.460 You remember what the industry thinks is acceptable today
00:34:46.440 is different than what the industry thought was acceptable when we were kids.
00:34:50.200 So you have to pay attention to that.
00:34:52.120 The industry is not going to be screening that for you.
00:34:55.220 I would say that before you allow your kids to watch anything,
00:34:59.380 that you need to watch it first or at least need to do some research on it.
00:35:03.480 And then you'll know.
00:35:04.380 There are a lot of Disney classic movies that I think would be great for them to watch
00:35:09.620 or cartoons or what have you.
00:35:10.920 But you've got to pay attention to it.
00:35:12.240 No question about it.
00:35:13.240 um okay i'm buying a home as a single female mid-30s things to look out for from a dad's view
00:35:20.520 well thank you for that question the first thing you need to do is get a thorough inspection done
00:35:26.360 get an inspector hired and sometimes inspectors will just do a partial thing like they'll put in
00:35:33.880 their report we didn't inspect the roof if not get your roofing inspector make sure that you get
00:35:38.640 the electrical and the plumbing and the roof those major items get those checked out really
00:35:46.920 well so you know going in what the issues are and then also make sure that you review the crime
00:35:54.120 stats for the area and that's that's public record you can basically google that and find what the
00:35:59.260 crime statistics are for the area i also would recommend that if you're seriously considering a
00:36:05.040 particular home that you meet the neighbors, that you go over and introduce yourself. Maybe have your
00:36:10.340 dad or a friend with you and say, hey, I'm such and such thinking about buying this home,
00:36:15.160 just wanted to introduce myself. And maybe you can have a little bit of a conversation,
00:36:18.740 learn a little bit about them. Usually being a female, your intuition about people is generally
00:36:24.100 pretty good, better than us guys. So if you get a funny feeling, then that may be the Lord
00:36:31.120 telling you, hey, it's not, this is not the right place for you. Also, once you do buy it, I would
00:36:36.260 recommend that you go slow on upgrades. If you need some upgrades to make it functional, yeah,
00:36:42.320 go ahead and invest the money in that. But just get in there for a little bit and see what you
00:36:48.660 really want to do. Sometimes we overdo it on the front end and we get in there and say, you know,
00:36:53.340 why did I spend the money on that? That really, I didn't really need to do that. So be patient on
00:36:57.780 that. Do I think Tallarico stands a chance? Yes, he does stand a chance. There's no question. Now,
00:37:05.200 if Republican voters get to the ballot and get out to the polls and vote, he's not going to win.
00:37:11.540 Paxton will win, no question about it. And again, but the challenge is there's going to be some
00:37:16.680 Republicans that voted for Cornyn that when they get to the ballot in November, they won't vote for
00:37:23.500 Tallarico, they just won't vote in that race. And I would tell them, encourage them, plead with them,
00:37:28.200 please don't do that. You think you haven't voted for Tallarico, but really you've given them half
00:37:32.640 a vote. Because when you don't vote for one, it's a binary choice. You're giving the advantage to
00:37:37.300 the other person. So we'll talk about that more between now and November. And that's all over the
00:37:42.520 country. It's not just Texas. It's all over the country. It'll be the same way in Georgia,
00:37:46.240 because they're going to have a tight race over there for whoever wins the primary against Ossoff.
00:37:49.640 there's going to be a tight race on that too so that it's the same scenario all right um the ufo
00:37:55.820 uap videos released from the government and how christians should think of you it you know what
00:38:01.060 i'm a skeptic about that maybe just because how i was raised so i don't really know um that's that's
00:38:06.760 that's a subject i am unsure about and i haven't really i know that jeremiah johnson which is an
00:38:12.000 apologetics uh pastor at our church i think ali's had him on more than once i think he's had a
00:38:17.920 comment on that and I need to go back and read that, but I'm not really sure about that. Certainly
00:38:22.300 God can do what he wants to do, right? But I'm not sure exactly what all of that means. I am glad
00:38:29.540 that they opened it up though. I mean, it should be transparent. I mean, it is what it is, right?
00:38:33.220 Why would you not be transparent about that? It's just crazy. All right. How to parent young adults
00:38:37.860 18 to 22 who have different values than how they were raised? Really the only thing you can do is
00:38:43.700 you can let them see your values, living out your values. Make sure that you're the same person
00:38:48.620 inside the house that you are outside the house. And make sure that you understand what a value is.
00:38:57.180 I think I've talked about this before. Lisa and I and Allie went to some counseling when Allie
00:39:02.280 was a teenager because she and I were having some friction, all right, which you might imagine that.
00:39:07.980 mostly my fault not hers and the counselor had just talked to me and Lisa but mainly me Lisa
00:39:15.660 just happened to be with me on what is a value versus a rule versus a preference and what it
00:39:24.200 came down to is that most of the things that I wanted to do were preferences and maybe some rules
00:39:31.160 and really they weren't values.
00:39:35.220 So he had us come up with what our values were as a family
00:39:38.840 and it's usually only four or five things, all right?
00:39:41.520 And so make sure that you don't have too many things
00:39:44.900 you're calling values that are really preferences.
00:39:47.520 Here'd be an example, okay?
00:39:48.760 As an adult, these are adults, okay?
00:39:51.320 They're soon to be adults anyway.
00:39:52.780 Let's say that you are a total teetotaler
00:39:55.500 but that your kids, as they get to be of age,
00:39:59.180 want to drink a glass of wine. Well, that's a preference. That's not a biblical issue.
00:40:04.400 All right. That's not a value. That is a preference. And it's your preference, which is fine,
00:40:09.200 but that has nothing to do whether or not, you know, they are people of faith or anything like
00:40:15.220 that. So make sure that you understand the difference between preference and values and
00:40:18.440 then live out your values. All right. Now here's another single lady that's saving up to buy a home
00:40:23.460 alone question mark or enjoy freedom to travel should she buy a home or enjoy freedom to travel
00:40:30.100 you know i think if you want to buy a home if that if that makes you feel more secure you can
00:40:36.340 do that i always like always put making memories a higher priority than having things all right now
00:40:45.180 you obviously need a nice place to live but there's nothing wrong with renting if that's
00:40:49.980 that's what you prefer to do and use the money to go and, you know, see the world.
00:40:55.440 I think that's okay to do that.
00:40:56.780 You don't want to ever spend unwisely.
00:41:01.240 But if that's where your priority is, I like the idea of making memories.
00:41:05.860 But I think if you work it out, you might be able to do both.
00:41:10.400 Is it okay to cut off contact with a transgender child at 27?
00:41:13.960 No, it's not okay.
00:41:15.860 Not as a parent, it's not okay.
00:41:17.320 Now, that doesn't mean that he or she has to be involved in every area of your life
00:41:22.900 and exposure to maybe your grandkids or whatever, but you shouldn't cut them off.
00:41:28.360 They should always know that you love them as a person unconditionally
00:41:31.960 because that's what the Lord tells us to do.
00:41:34.860 And you continue praying for that person.
00:41:38.140 You continue, you know, trying to lead them back to the understanding of what God made them.
00:41:46.680 And he only made them one sex, a boy or a girl.
00:41:49.040 He didn't make an either or.
00:41:50.860 And so, but you do not, don't cut off from them.
00:41:54.540 That is not the answer, in my opinion.
00:41:57.600 What do you think of the deal that Trump made with Iran?
00:42:01.080 Well, there's no deal done yet.
00:42:02.760 I know a lot of people say that he's going to be weak on this.
00:42:05.760 And I personally don't believe that.
00:42:08.860 I'm not in the room, of course.
00:42:10.760 I don't think we can afford to be weak on this.
00:42:12.900 Now, will Iran lie to us?
00:42:15.220 Yes.
00:42:15.520 And will we have to continue to monitor whatever deal we make very closely?
00:42:19.140 Yes.
00:42:20.220 But I think we're going to make the toughest deal that we can possibly make.
00:42:24.720 How do we respect ungodly parents while parenting our own children?
00:42:28.360 Well, that's a tricky one for sure.
00:42:30.600 And what I would say to you is that, again, there have to be some boundaries.
00:42:37.220 If you believe your ungodly parents are having a negative influence on your children, then you have to limit exposure to that.
00:42:44.060 Does it mean you cut them off and you need to have hard discussions on, hey, these are our values.
00:42:49.100 This is what we're raising our kids by.
00:42:51.060 You raised us by this way, so please respect our values.
00:42:54.680 And again, you just have to be able to have the conversations with them that are not always easy to do.
00:43:02.260 My opinion on so-called separation of church and state, where there's no such thing in the Constitution of separation of church and state.
00:43:08.260 They get that mixed up with the Thomas Jefferson sent a letter to the Baptist upstate.
00:43:13.260 upstate, I forget where it was, New Hampshire, New York, I mean, Vermont, something like that.
00:43:19.440 Remember, all that the Constitution says is that the government cannot establish a religion.
00:43:25.760 Establish a religion. Even though that our Constitution and our laws are made up primarily
00:43:34.360 on Judeo-Christian values, we do not, as Christianity is not the religion of the United
00:43:40.460 States. Judaism is not the religion of the United States. Islam is not the religion of the United
00:43:46.680 States. We cannot set up our own church, right? Unlike they have in England, the Church of
00:43:54.540 England. And a lot of the Islam countries are theocracies. We are not that way at all. So
00:44:00.740 anybody that says that, oh, we have to separate church and state, there is nothing in the
00:44:07.440 constitution that says that you can't have biblical references in government buildings.
00:44:15.180 And we've seen that be proven time and time again by allowing the Ten Commandments and
00:44:19.940 other things being in there.
00:44:21.900 So there's not a constitutional prohibition of that.
00:44:25.900 It's just a prohibition of establishing a particular religion by the government.
00:44:32.040 Let's see here.
00:44:33.060 Possible things on the legal pipeline on churches not qualifying 501c3.
00:44:38.760 So, you know, churches don't pay taxes.
00:44:40.940 They're a nonprofit.
00:44:42.100 And there has been some talk about if you get involved in politics, you can lose that nonprofit status.
00:44:48.120 That's separate than different rates for church and state.
00:44:50.420 That's a separate issue.
00:44:51.320 This is just a tax issue.
00:44:53.060 I don't think it's ever going to happen because churches all over the country, it started in the black church.
00:44:58.900 they very much involved in political discussion you know they have had political candidates in
00:45:06.280 there a lot and you see a lot of the conservative churches now going more and more that direction
00:45:11.020 more and more bold and I think that's totally fine I mean a lot of us look to our religious
00:45:16.640 leaders to help us understand a candidate and where they are on the important biblical issue
00:45:22.540 so I don't think that's going to be coming up any at least in what I think the foreseeable
00:45:28.680 future um let's see here just a couple more we'll be finished uh house bill 1232 in north carolina
00:45:38.380 this is a bill that's passed the north carolina legislature i think or at least the house it may
00:45:46.080 not have passed the senate yet that says life begins at fertilization and then if you purposely
00:45:53.220 kill a fertilized embryo, okay, or an egg that now becomes an embryo, that that's just like
00:46:01.340 murder. And there's a criminal penalty for that. I agree that life begins at fertilization,
00:46:07.040 all right? A life is a life is a life. And I know that for some, that's a pretty harsh stance to
00:46:13.580 take, but that's what I believe. Allie, I'll let her talk about it herself, but I believe that it's
00:46:19.020 life. And I'll see that. I think you'll see this happen more and more. I'm less concerned about
00:46:23.400 that though, as I am about this abortion drug. I forget the name of it starts with an M. I can't
00:46:28.440 pronounce it. That is being sold across state lines. I'm more concerned about that. And that's
00:46:35.560 where we've got to put a stop to being able to do that. Cause that's how a lot of the abortions
00:46:40.320 are happening now. All right. Let's see here.
00:46:49.020 How do we raise godly men?
00:46:50.440 I'm expecting my first baby boy this fall.
00:46:53.660 My only thing to say was that, first of all, let them be boys.
00:46:57.500 And boys are different than girls.
00:46:59.320 And they're going to break things.
00:47:00.660 And they're going to yell at things.
00:47:02.180 And they're going to say things even that their brain processes differently than girls.
00:47:07.820 Let them be boys.
00:47:09.600 But make sure, this is the most important part,
00:47:12.480 Make sure that they are exposed to godly male examples.
00:47:20.440 That's very, very important.
00:47:22.780 You as a mom can do what you can do as a mom, but hopefully your husband is a man of faith
00:47:29.900 and you have people around them that are people of faith.
00:47:33.760 That's really, really important to get them around as many godly men as possible in all
00:47:39.540 the things that they do.
00:47:40.420 Because in all the areas of the life, whatever they end up liking to do, maybe they're going to be hunters or maybe they're going to be ballplayers or maybe they're going to be engineers.
00:47:50.040 There are godly men in all of those areas that you can expose them to.
00:47:55.600 And I would just encourage you to do that as much as possible from a young age all the way up.
00:48:00.540 Never quit encouraging that.
00:48:04.260 Advice encouraged for parents in this current society.
00:48:06.480 Is it worth it to have more kids?
00:48:08.060 Yes.
00:48:09.120 Listen, we need good people to have more children.
00:48:11.980 We're not even replacing our own birth rate, as you know.
00:48:15.020 We need more good people, more people of faith to have more children.
00:48:20.280 Because if we don't, and the bad people do, they're going to gain more control over our daily lives.
00:48:27.360 So I would encourage that.
00:48:28.920 And remember, God's got this, all right?
00:48:33.120 And it's not going to be easy when you have kids and have more kids, but God's got this.
00:48:37.740 And he wants us to multiply.
00:48:39.400 He wants us to have other people part of his kingdom.
00:48:43.540 All right.
00:48:44.320 The last thing is, very last one is on Ben, I think it's Skittler, Skittler.
00:48:51.860 He is a, basically a street preacher who was attacked in New York City a couple of weeks ago.
00:48:57.880 And he was just out there preaching and somebody, you know, he gets attacked and he gets beaten by several people.
00:49:04.480 And it's, but the truth always going to be attacked, right?
00:49:08.200 Truth's always going to be attacked.
00:49:09.260 And this is pitiful that this would happen.
00:49:11.500 So far, Mayor Mandami has not said a word about this,
00:49:14.620 which tells you all you need to know about that guy for sure, huh?
00:49:18.380 I mean, it's just disappointing that that's the way he looks at the world.
00:49:22.040 So anyway, I think that's enough for today.

00:49:48.220 All right, guys, how about doing something really special for Father's Day?
00:49:52.680 How about, as a father, getting your wife, the mother of your children,
00:49:59.940 tickets to share the arrows, to show them how grateful you are
00:50:04.060 for allowing you to be a father of their children.
00:50:07.080 How about that?
00:50:08.720 Thanks for your time.
00:50:09.700 Appreciate it.
