Summary
Trump's State of the Union speech is in the books. There were some really good moments and some that I disagreed with, but overall, I was extremely impressed with Trump's speech. I give him a 95% rating and give him an A+ overall.

All right, we've got a special episode of Relatable today reacting to Trump's State
00:00:05.540
of the Union. There were some really good moments and something that I really disagreed with. We'll
00:00:11.680
get into all of it today as well as the Democrats' reaction. If you love Relatable, please leave us

00:00:31.860
of the Union. Hey guys, welcome to Relatable. Happy Wednesday. Hope everyone is having a wonderful
00:00:46.600
week so far. All right, today is a special episode, which is why I am recording from home, not my typical
00:00:52.360
setup in the studio. We actually recorded today's episode yesterday, talked about something totally
00:00:57.540
different. But after I watched the State of the Union last night, I was like, I've got to respond
00:01:02.740
to some of these key moments. I was extremely impressed. If you just want to know my overall
00:01:07.780
impression of Trump's speech, extremely impressed. And in fact, if you want to see some of my
00:01:12.320
predictions of the State of the Union, the things he was going to say, the things that I hoped that he
00:01:17.260
was going to say, you can watch the Blaze TV coverage, I was on for about an hour and a half
00:01:22.860
pre-show, hoping that he talked about some of the things that he did talk about. But also, I was
00:01:29.160
hoping that he would mention a little bit more about Christianity, a little bit more about religious
00:01:32.880
liberty, a little bit more about marriage. But overall, very strong speech, historic speech,
00:01:39.840
painted this really incredible picture of Western civilization and America's place in it. It was
00:01:46.180
unapologetically America first, citizens first, and the way that he showed so strategically the
00:01:53.580
juxtaposition of Democrats who were basically protesting, putting their own constituents and
00:01:59.860
America's own citizens first, and the Republicans who, at the very least, just believe that Americans
00:02:07.960
should be prioritized in our policymaking. It was brilliant. It was absolutely brilliant. I didn't
00:02:15.060
agree with everything that Trump said, though, and we'll get into some of that. But overall, I would
00:02:20.560
give him 95%, which is an A rating. So let's talk about some of my favorite highlights. I mean, I could
00:02:27.300
talk for two hours about all of the things that he discussed and that he pointed out, but I just want
00:02:32.380
to give you the top moments that I think that you need to consider, that you need to have in mind,
00:02:38.740
especially as we're going into the midterms, but also as you're having conversations with your
00:02:42.620
friends, especially those who are politically agnostic, those who hate Trump, have these
00:02:46.680
nuggets in your mind when you're comparing the right and the left. Okay. So overall, I saw this CNN
00:02:52.220
poll, um, 63% had a positive reaction to Trump's state of the union versus 36% negative. Now I will say
00:03:00.460
there's always these, uh, reaction polls from CNN or CBS over the years, and it's very, um, biased
00:03:08.920
towards whatever party, uh, is in office. And so it's mostly going to be Republicans watching
00:03:16.440
Trump. It's mostly going to be Democrats watching Obama. So of course, most Republicans are going to
00:03:22.000
be happy about Trump's state of the union, but this is CNN. So maybe it is a little bit more accurate
00:03:28.160
about what the country felt about Trump's speech overall. I found it to be extremely unifying or it
00:03:34.100
should have been unifying the things that he was saying were so unapologetically patriotic and
00:03:39.000
American that if you were against him on the things he said about, I don't know, genital mutilation of
00:03:44.560
children or, um, um, or just patriotism, illegal immigration, then you really are on the fringes
00:03:53.100
of American society. Okay. So, um, it was one hour and 48 minutes. That is a record for a state of the
00:04:00.860
union address. Not surprising at all. Typical Trump. He went off script a little bit. He stopped.
00:04:06.720
Everyone applauds. Not everyone applauds, but a lot of people applause. He's a showman. He likes to
00:04:12.080
go off script. He likes to make jokes. He likes to make jabs. He likes to react to what the audience
00:04:17.300
is doing. That's what makes him him. Um, it was extremely upbeat. That was something that surprised
00:04:23.500
me a little bit. I said in the pre-show analysis that I thought, you know, I think we're going to start
00:04:28.700
to see his age a little bit, not just because it's Trump, but because anyone at this age doesn't have
00:04:34.560
the same stamina that they did 10 years ago, 20 years ago. And he definitely is a, is above where
00:04:41.520
most people are his age, but look, it's late at night. He's going, going, going. This is a long
00:04:47.260
speech. We actually didn't see that. I did not see his energy wane, but he started out so strong.
00:04:54.180
In fact, he was basically yelling and patriotism in support of the U S hockey team that of course,
00:05:03.040
People are asking me, please, please, please, Mr. President, we're winning too much.
00:05:08.080
We can't take it anymore. We're not used to winning in our country until you came along. We're just
00:05:14.160
always losing, but now we're winning too much. And I say, no, no, no, you're going to win again.
00:05:20.800
You're going to win big. You're going to win bigger than ever. And to prove that point to prove that
00:05:27.320
point here with us tonight is a group of winners who just made the entire nation proud. The men's
00:05:38.800
Okay. So for those of you who are just listening, let me tell you like exactly what is going on
00:06:05.140
there. Um, you might think, Oh, all of those people sitting in the back, why weren't they
00:06:10.080
standing up? Well, you can see them with their laptops. Those are staffers. Those are people
00:06:14.200
who aren't really participating. They're working for the Congress people or the senators that they're
00:06:19.400
working for. And they're not really supposed to necessarily be standing up. Now you did see at
00:06:24.400
the beginning of that clip before he announces the hockey players. And he just says, America is
00:06:29.260
winning. You don't see any Democrats stand up, which if I'm fair, I could understand why they
00:06:35.000
wouldn't applaud that because he's basically making fun of them. Like he's basically making
00:06:39.980
fun of people who he would call losers. And that has always been Trump's play, by the way,
0.67
00:06:47.200
this is not different for him. He has always, his pitch has always been, we've been losing for a
00:06:52.300
really long time and we should probably win. And he believes that he is the champion of that.
00:06:57.120
And I think that he has been in a lot of ways. Um, now he did, we'll just get straight into this.
00:07:03.140
He did talk about lowering the cost of IVF and also taxpayer funded IVF. So he talked about his
00:07:11.700
new website, Trump RX to lower prescription drugs. Um, Trump also highlighted the first customer,
00:07:19.220
Catherine Rayner, who used the site for IVF related drugs, which obviously I'm not excited about. I'll
00:07:25.900
explain that in a minute. Let's place out three. And here tonight is the very first customer ever to
00:07:32.320
get that big discount. And it is big Catherine Rayner for five years. She and her husband have
00:07:39.440
struggled with infertility and they turned to IVF. One drug has been costing Catherine $4,000 to purchase.
00:07:48.840
But a few weeks ago, she logged onto the Trump RX website and got that same drug that cost $4,000,
00:07:57.060
got it for under $500, a reduction of much more actually than $3,500. Catherine, we are all praying for you
00:08:09.360
Look, I think, I think that Trump's heart is in the right place here. He probably has not grappled
00:08:17.560
with the ethics of IVF. The vast majority of people, Christians and non-Christians have not
1.00
00:08:22.780
grappled with the ethics of IVF. And so he's thinking more babies, the better. And it's so
00:08:28.620
hard for someone to struggle with infertility, which of course we should have compassion for the struggle
00:08:33.720
of not being able to have a child. And we should handle those people with gentleness and understanding.
00:08:39.980
And we want married couples, moms and dads or husbands and wives rather, who want to have kids
0.70
00:08:46.320
to be able to have kids. But the problem with in vitro fertilization is that it's not good for the
00:08:52.560
woman's body. And it almost always creates embryos that are eugenically tested in a lab and then
1.00
00:08:58.900
discarded, or they're indefinitely frozen. We have over a million embryos on ice right now that have
00:09:05.100
been abandoned, that might be adopted one day by strangers. And that's a more redemptive option.
00:09:13.280
However, there's also going to be these frozen embryos that are just thrown in the trash.
00:09:18.820
And as you guys know, it's possible when you go through IVF to choose the gender that you want to
00:09:24.660
give birth to, it's possible to get them tested for, um, abnormalities like down syndrome, discard the
00:09:32.580
ones that are not graded highly enough. And I know you might say, well, it's possible to do IVF without
00:09:40.140
those things. And it is possible, but it is extremely rare. And if our tax dollars are going toward that,
00:09:49.600
we are just exacerbating the problem. Anytime you take sex and procreation, you separate those things.
00:09:57.760
They're going to be ethical issues. Like the only way to be able to pro, uh, procreate without any
00:10:05.400
ethical quandaries whatsoever is within the context of marriage between one man and one woman through
00:10:12.700
sex. Adoption is a beautifully redemptive option, but surrogacy egg selling sperm selling IVF, which
0.67
00:10:21.940
basically asks the child to sacrifice its own wellbeing, its own health, in some cases, its own life
00:10:29.540
on behalf of adult desires that is disordered. We are not going to become a godlier in more ordered
00:10:36.340
society by going that direction. I understand why someone like Trump wouldn't really get that.
00:10:42.480
It's been like the Catholic church and a sliver of Protestants who have understood that. But those
00:10:47.740
of us who do know that life inside the womb at the earliest stages matters just as much as every
00:10:54.540
other life, no matter the age, no matter the size, no matter the level of sentience, we have to be the
00:10:59.860
ones to speak up and say no. Um, and so that was the one part of the speech that I can think of
00:11:06.960
that I really did not agree with. I'm not going to celebrate that. And in fact, if Congress is trying
00:11:12.800
to pass a law that would have us fund IVF, like I will be calling my representatives, my senators,
00:11:19.540
and I will be encouraging you to do the same because I don't want to fund more slaughter of babies,
00:11:26.220
more embryos, unborn lives are killed through the IVF industry than through the abortion industry every
00:11:32.500
year. That really matters. All right. Now moving on to some things that I really did agree with,
00:11:39.140
and that was his absolute condemnation of illegal immigration. And I believe at the very beginning
00:11:45.140
of this segment, he said something amazing that like, gosh, I don't remember exactly what he said,
00:11:50.760
but basically that we're not going to have a single illegal alien crossing over our border. We are going
00:11:56.900
to make it as, um, tough as possible. And we have, we really have secured the border, uh, so much more
00:12:03.780
strongly than we did under the Biden administration, which has helped so much. He highlighted Delilah.
00:12:09.600
She's a young girl who survived a horrific car crash that was caused by an illegal alien. And thank
1.00
00:12:14.340
God she did survive. I know of another little girl in South Carolina who was three years old. Her family
00:12:19.680
was leaving church. They were hit by a drunk driver who is an illegal alien who should have been
1.00
00:12:24.580
deported, who shouldn't have been there in the first place. And she died. And there are too many
0.78
00:12:28.740
people who should still be here today. If our border had been secure, every single life that is lost
00:12:35.320
because of an illegal alien was a policy choice. Okay. That's different than the random murder of
0.71
00:12:41.620
someone who doesn't have a criminal background. Every crime committed by an illegal alien is preventable.
0.97
00:12:47.420
So in light of that, and to honor this sweet little girl, he announced something called
00:12:53.320
Delilah's law. Here's stop four. Many of not most illegal aliens do not speak English and cannot read
00:13:00.060
even the most basic road signs as to direction, speed, danger, or location. That's why tonight I'm
00:13:07.480
calling on Congress to pass what we will call the Delilah law, barring any state from granting
00:13:13.680
commercial driver's licenses to illegal aliens.
00:13:25.580
You've got no Democrats standing up and applauding that. That would have been a common sense position
00:13:31.680
even under Obama. Certainly under his first term, that would have been something that Biden would
00:13:36.800
have supported. That would have been something that Hillary Clinton would have supported.
1.00
00:13:39.780
If you've read my book and specifically the chapter on immigration, I go through all of the Democrat
00:13:46.680
quotes over the past or yeah, the past 20 or so years against illegal immigration. And you'll note
00:13:52.620
that it really wasn't until 2015 that Democrats shifted on immigration. Republicans have not
00:13:58.100
Democrats shifted on immigration to the left really in just opposition to Trump, which is such a superficial
0.78
00:14:04.740
and dumb reason to change on something that is so important. This is a common sense position.
0.63
00:14:09.800
They shouldn't have a driver's license. Unfortunately, that doesn't prevent illegal immigrants from
1.00
00:14:15.100
driving. Um, but it creates another hurdle and it creates another reason for them if they are pulled
00:14:22.440
over to be in trouble with the law and then be out of here. And so we want that. We want it to be as
00:14:29.500
difficult as possible to be an illegal alien in this country, right? Like that should be obvious.
1.00
00:14:36.440
And you might see that as cruel. I see that as orderly. I see that as loving my neighbor. I see
00:14:42.560
that as preventing another Lake and Riley preventing another Delilah protecting the vulnerable populations
00:14:49.360
that are disproportionately targeted or harmed by people who should not be here in the first place.
00:14:56.780
And by the way, I just want to be really clear about this. I don't believe in just deporting,
00:15:01.860
um, illegal aliens after they've committed crimes. Like why would I want to wait until another Delilah
0.99
00:15:08.000
happens? Why would I want to wait until another Jocelyn Nungary happens? No, I believe that citizenship
00:15:14.580
is a thing. Sovereignty matters. And so I believe that every single illegal alien, no matter what your
00:15:21.600
background is, should be deported. Absolutely. And again, that used to be something that was
1.00
00:15:26.520
common sense, but now it is strictly partisan. Uh, here is Trump continuing on what he calls the
00:15:32.240
border invasion. So five, we can never forget that many in this room not only allowed the border
00:15:41.440
invasion to happen before I got involved, but indeed they would do it all over again. If they ever had
00:15:49.360
the chance, if they ever got elected, they would open up those borders to some of the worst criminals
00:15:54.640
anywhere in the world. The only thing standing between Americans and a wide open border right
00:16:01.060
now is president Donald J. Trump and our great Republican patriots in Congress. Thank you.
00:16:09.640
Yeah. I mean, he's absolutely right on that. And gosh, again, he has been consistent on this since 2015.
00:16:15.620
And while I think that ice and Trump's policies have had a tough time, um, in the media and have
00:16:24.540
had a tough time with messaging, I just want to emphasize again, the importance of PR people get
00:16:32.080
mad at me when I talk about this, both on the right and the left. I put out a post a couple of weeks ago
00:16:37.140
saying, you know, when everything was happening in Minneapolis, we need to be able to show the DHS and
00:16:43.040
ice Trump. They need to be able to show the human side of illegal immigration, like the human lives
00:16:50.960
that are affected. People like little Delilah, we need to be telling those stories. We need to show
00:16:57.500
women in particular who are targeted by that toxic empathy. We need to show them that like
00:17:02.520
these people deserve your compassion to these people are the true victims of this. And it's not
00:17:09.300
just a compassion war. It's not just an emotion war. That's another thing I make really clear in
00:17:13.920
toxic empathy. At the end of the day, it's about what's true, what's right, what's good, but we can't
00:17:20.920
be led in just one progressive direction by our empathy and forget about the victims of illegal
00:17:26.200
immigration. And some people got mad at me when I said that they said, no, we just need to roll tanks
00:17:31.320
in Minneapolis. It doesn't care. Who cares about optics? Who cares about PR? Well, if you care about
00:17:37.160
policy, you have to care about PR. Okay. In this country, it matters what the voters think about
00:17:43.640
things. And if you care about what the voters think about things, which you should, if you want
00:17:48.980
the right people elected to enact the right policy that does the right thing, then you first have to
00:17:55.200
care about the messaging. You have to be able to convince people that this is the right way to go.
00:18:01.360
And you can do that through logic. You can do that through lots of different means of persuasion,
00:18:06.920
but we shouldn't discount the heart. We shouldn't discount the compassionate side of it. The
00:18:11.800
difference though, between good compassion and what I call toxic empathy is that good compassion
00:18:16.580
should lead you closer to truth, should lead you closer to order, to good policy instead of destructive,
0.99
00:18:24.000
bad, stupid policy, like open borders. Um, okay. So Trump says that the first duty is to protect
1.00
00:18:32.400
Americans. And let's see, I think this is the one where he says, like, if you believe this, if you
00:18:37.000
believe that it is the first duty to protect Americans and not illegal aliens, please stand up
1.00
00:18:43.420
and watch what happens. Thought six. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your
00:18:49.420
support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.
00:19:19.420
Okay. Again, basic common sense. Of course we put Americans first, like they're not even afraid of
00:19:34.440
it. And that was such a beautiful moment. I bet that was Stephen Miller's idea to just basically hold
00:19:39.820
their feet to the fire. Give us all a visual, like let's do, let's do some stacking here. Let's give an
0.98
00:19:47.520
incredible speech. Let's show people in the moment that Democrats will not stand for prioritizing
00:19:53.280
Americans over people who are not citizens, who are not from this country, who don't have a stake in
0.98
00:19:59.740
this country, but also like, let's get some good B roll for future campaign videos. I mean, that is
00:20:06.780
perfect going into the midterms and they're just saying it now. Unfortunately, I want to be realistic
00:20:12.000
about this. There are people in the world, unfortunately, especially Christians who have this completely
0.97
00:20:17.280
muddled mentality about America first, that it's wrong to put America first. It's wrong to care
00:20:22.780
about citizenship. It's wrong to put citizens first because, Oh, our kingdom is not of this world.
00:20:28.500
And you know, God doesn't love one group of people more than another. And you know, we're united in
00:20:34.340
Christ and all of this stuff that spiritually is that actually has nothing to do with how the nation
00:20:41.600
state is run. Yes, that is true. Our citizenship as Christians is in heaven. Yes, of course we are
00:20:47.720
united with people around the world, um, who share our faith. And that does transcend borders and earthly
00:20:54.700
citizenship. That doesn't mean that earthly citizenship doesn't matter because you're basically
00:20:58.720
saying that nations shouldn't exist, that borders shouldn't exist, that laws shouldn't exist, that
00:21:03.840
anyone should just be able to go anywhere and it will be fine. Well, that creates chaos. You know who
00:21:09.080
the author of chaos? Satan is the author of chaos. God created nations. He created governments. He
00:21:14.720
created laws and people so often cite the old Testament by saying, Oh, you shouldn't oppress
00:21:20.120
the sojourner. Well, you shouldn't oppress the sojourner, but Israel also didn't tolerate illegal
00:21:24.620
immigration. If you were a sojourner, if you were someone outside of Israel who went into ancient Israel
00:21:29.680
and you wanted to live among them, you had to abide by all of their laws. There was one law for the
00:21:34.540
foreigner and one law for the Israelite. You had to be circumcised. You had to follow all the
1.00
00:21:38.960
laws and homosexuality. You had to follow all of the cleansing laws, all of the ceremonial laws.
1.00
00:21:43.620
So I'm not interested in applying all old Testament law to America today, but if you liberals are who
00:21:49.960
cite the old Testament to try to inform what our immigration policy should be like, let's do the
00:21:54.740
whole kit and caboodle. Now we're talking, now we can have a conversation of what that looks like.
00:21:59.840
It's so interesting how liberals will have their own form of Christian nationalism. But at the same time,
00:22:05.620
if we say, Oh yeah, we should put Americans first, just like Zimbabwe should put Zimbabweans first.
1.00
00:22:10.220
That's some form of fascism. It's really crazy. It doesn't make any sense. Also, he talked about
00:22:15.380
crime and this is something also that I really care about. If you see a theme and the things I care
00:22:20.320
about, I really care about protecting a little guy. I really care about protecting vulnerable people.
00:22:25.340
Irina Zarutska is one of those vulnerable people. She was a refugee. She was coming from Ukraine.
00:22:31.100
She was living, she was working. She was on public transit in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is actually
00:22:36.560
a story that I talked about the day that Charlie was murdered. I was on Megan Kelly show. We were crying
00:22:41.660
about that. And then I heard the unimaginable and the day just got so much worse. And I really applaud
00:22:48.780
Trump for, um, not allowing the story to be completely eclipsed and remembering her, what happened to her
00:22:55.460
when she was stabbed on the bus by this guy who had a long rap sheet should have been in prison,
00:23:01.660
should not have been free to kill her. Everyone stood there and watched her die. And Trump honored
00:23:07.480
her mom. It was a really sweet and a very sad moment. Sot seven. Mrs. Zarutska tonight. I promise you,
00:23:13.720
we will ensure justice for your magnificent daughter. Irina.
00:23:17.800
How do you not stand? How do you not stand? Yeah. I mean, honestly, that makes me want to cry.
00:23:34.880
There are actually so many things in that little video that makes me want to cry because you've got
00:23:38.820
Erica Kirk who was standing right next to her and comforting her. That's such a powerful moment.
00:23:45.880
Actually, I think of the last post that Charlie posted on acts was about Irina Zarutska because
00:23:51.680
he also was leading the charge and talking about these derelict DAs, these derelict judges who won't
00:23:57.520
do their jobs, won't put people in jail because of the color of their skin. They want to meet racial
0.88
00:24:02.320
quotas. They think social justice means being soft on crime and just allowing criminals to run wild.
00:24:09.220
So there's not too many people in prison. And he was speaking out for justice for Irina,
00:24:14.120
like so many people were. And then of course he was killed so unjustly the same day. So to have both
00:24:20.220
of them together there and Erica, the widow turning to comfort her was just such a moment. And I mean,
00:24:28.940
all of us know who are moms, the worst possible nightmare scenario is something happening to your
00:24:36.100
child. And so I just pray that her mom did not see that video. I saw that video of her bleeding out.
00:24:42.540
It is so disturbing. I cannot imagine the pain of having that happen to your child and you not
00:24:49.200
having been there to help. And so good on president Trump for honoring her and her life and highlighting
00:24:54.800
again, the problem of crime when we are okay with social justice, because, Oh, we care so much about
00:25:01.200
the criminal so much about the accused that we forget the vulnerable people that actually die by those
00:25:08.360
policies. I've said for a long time, social justice kills, social justice kills soft on crime policies,
00:25:14.960
kill toxic empathy, which justify those policies. It kills people. That's why it's so serious. And for
00:25:21.820
the Democrats not to stand up for hurt, it should not be partisan. It shouldn't be partisan to put your
00:25:27.740
country first. It shouldn't be partisan to say, Hey, crime is bad. And we should do what we can to
00:25:33.980
stop that. And we don't have this particular clip because it just came to mind, but Trump touted
00:25:39.500
this incredible statistic, which it's been fact check CBS put out a quote, a quote saying, yeah,
00:25:45.200
we fact to this. And it's true. A Trump said that murder in America is at a 125 year low. That's
00:25:53.180
incredible. I mean, there could be so many factors for that could be just tough on crime policies across
00:25:58.740
the States. Um, but on a federal level, it could be the deportation of illegal immigrants. And don't
00:26:04.500
tell me, well, immigrants commit fewer crimes than citizens. First of all, we don't really know that's
00:26:08.660
true. Illegal immigrants by definition are undocumented. So we don't really have a way to
0.99
00:26:13.360
verify how many crimes they commit and every single crime committed by an illegal immigrant is one too
1.00
00:26:18.860
many. Yeah. We have homegrown citizen criminals here. We don't need to import more. We need to deport
1.00
00:26:25.380
them all. And so I guarantee you that had something to do with this. Um, speaking of Erica Kirk and
00:26:30.920
Charlie, Trump had a moment at the state of the union. Um, gosh, it just seems like so long since
00:26:37.020
Charlie was murdered. It's hard to even believe that this is the first day of the union since Charlie
00:26:41.240
died. Um, but he took a moment to honor Erica, to call out political violence. And then he also tied
00:26:48.000
this in with this resurgence of the Christian faith that we're seeing that Charlie played such a huge part
00:26:53.560
of. So last year, Charlie was violently murdered by an assassin and martyred, really martyred for his
00:27:03.900
beliefs. His wonderful wife, Erica, is with us tonight. Erica, please stand.
00:27:15.760
In Charlie's memory, we must all come together to reaffirm that America is one nation under God.
00:27:22.800
And we must totally reject political violence of any kind.
00:27:32.080
100%. And now I don't know if the Democrats stood for that. Hopefully they were able to agree with
00:27:38.280
that. Again, we're talking bare minimum. Now there is a camera person who deserves a raise.
1.00
00:27:45.900
He deserves an award. I don't know if we have this moment where Donald Trump is talking about Somali
00:27:53.480
pirates and he's talking about the fraud that happened in Minnesota and the camera guy
00:28:00.300
pans to Ilhan Omar as soon as he says Somali pirates. Oh my goodness. I mean, she has allegedly
00:28:08.960
committed a lot of fraud. So basically on the same moral level as Somali pirates. But she also yelled
1.00
00:28:16.680
that Trump, she was extremely angry that Trump was talking about any of this. Trump talked about ending
00:28:23.260
sanctuary cities like Minneapolis who are housing a lot of these fraudsters and Omar didn't like it.
00:28:31.620
officials who block the removal of criminal aliens. In many cases, drug lords, murderers all over our
00:28:39.160
country. They're blocking the removal of these people out of our country. And you should be ashamed
00:28:45.920
of yourself if you advocate for those kinds of policies. She's yelling there. You have killed
00:29:02.440
Americans. You have killed Americans. Okay. Like if we just want an even and fair conversation and we all
1.00
00:29:08.320
think killing Americans is wrong, I can agree with that. I can reach across the aisle and say, yeah,
1.00
00:29:13.620
killing Americans is wrong. Like even when an illegal alien does it, right? Even when it's Charlie
0.99
00:29:17.980
Kirk, because I, if I remember correctly days after Charlie was murdered, you had Ilhan Omar calling him
00:29:24.660
a racist bigot at some town hall meeting that she was leading at the time. So I'm not really convinced
00:29:31.980
that the pro abortion, pro illegal immigration stomp on the grave of a martyred man, Ilhan Omar is really
00:29:40.200
that morally concerned about Americans dying. Um, so yeah, that doesn't surprise me. I also just wanted to
0.77
00:29:48.800
point out that Rashida Tlaib, uh, part of the squad is right next to her and she's got this little pin on
1.00
00:29:54.900
it says release the Epstein files, but Epstein is redacted, which of course, yes, I think that all of the files
00:30:00.720
should be released. I think victims should get justice no matter what side of the aisle they might be on
00:30:06.440
100%. I just want to point out that Rashida Tlaib and others like her did not care about the Epstein
0.87
00:30:12.720
files until Donald Trump took office, which I think is really gross. I would actually think that it's
00:30:18.040
more moral for you just to never care about it, never talk about it, but for you to only care when
00:30:23.440
you can use these people who are sex trafficked as political pawns, that's really, really ugly.
00:30:29.620
Again, doesn't surprise me. It's not like I think that these women have moral limitations or moral
1.00
00:30:34.140
limits. Now, really important topic that he touched on, which again, I think 85% at least
00:30:40.980
of the country agrees on that we shouldn't try to trans kids. Like we shouldn't be butchering their
1.00
00:30:46.520
bodies, no chemical castration, no puberty blockers, no double mastectomies. He highlighted this young
00:30:53.840
woman. Her name is Sage Blair. She was a young girl who was pressured by school officials to socially
00:30:59.400
transition to a boy, Saten. But surely we can all agree no state can be allowed to rip children from
00:31:07.220
their parents' arms and transition them to a new gender against the parents' will. Who would believe
1.00
00:31:12.920
that we're even talking about this? We must ban it and we must ban it immediately.
00:31:18.400
Look, nobody stands up. These people are crazy. I'm telling you, they're crazy.
0.98
00:31:30.880
Democrats are destroying our country, but we've stopped it just in the nick of time, didn't we?
0.98
00:31:38.440
Honestly, praise God. Praise God. And this is why when people send me Trump's tweets or posts,
00:31:45.100
or he said this, or he made this joke about the women's hockey team. I'm like, I don't care.
00:31:50.180
I don't care because you've got one side of the aisle that won't applaud for the fact that we
00:31:55.960
shouldn't be taking kids out of their parents' custody to be transitioned to the opposite sex.
1.00
00:32:01.380
We shouldn't be pumping teenagers with cross-sex hormones and taking off their breasts and chemically
1.00
00:32:06.100
castrating them. You've got one side of the aisle who can't say, yeah, I think we should put American
0.99
00:32:10.540
citizens first, who can't even honor a refugee who was murdered by a longtime criminal. I mean,
0.63
00:32:17.900
we've got good versus evil when it comes to policy here. Okay. So yeah, I'm going to have a lot of
00:32:23.360
grace for Trump's foibles because I am thankful every single day that Kamala Harris isn't president
00:32:29.840
and that we've got Republican conservative policy for the most part, dominating the political
00:32:37.600
conversation right now and helping our neighbors. So I'm very thankful. I'm thankful overall for
00:32:44.940
this speech. We have to keep representing as Christians, what is good, right, and true,
00:32:48.920
representing those babies inside the womb. We can't let them be forgotten about just because
00:32:52.900
they're hidden away, just because they're frozen, just because they're small, just because people
00:32:56.880
on our political side of the aisle think it's no big deal. We have to continue to be a voice for
00:33:01.840
the voiceless while still affirming that Trump and his people are doing a lot to advance what
00:33:08.860
is good, right, and true. And honestly, in this speech, I just see a lot of God's mercy
00:33:12.700
on our country. And I'm very thankful for that. Remember politics matter because policy matters
00:33:17.560
because people matter and how the president is presenting these policies affects all of those
00:33:24.220
things. And so it has to matter to us too. All right. We will be playing the episode
00:33:28.500
that we filmed yesterday tomorrow. So this was a little special episode. You'll get an additional
00:33:34.600
episode tomorrow. That one's an important one too. See you guys back here then.
