You know what, let's cut out all of the warm, fuzzy, self-help talk.
00:00:04.920
And I'm going to be the first person to speak to you frankly today.
00:00:07.860
I'm going to tell you the four reasons why you're poor.
00:00:09.900
And reason number one is because you saw this title and it triggered you.
00:00:13.540
You've listened to the first 10 or 20 seconds of this YouTube video
00:00:18.280
And that says far more about you than anything else.
00:00:21.360
The first reason you're poor is because you can't look yourself in the mirror
00:00:26.680
You can't take criticism without even trying to protect your ego.
00:00:29.640
You know, usually there's two things that most people can't take responsibility for.
00:00:33.020
It's number one, how much money they have in their bank account.
00:00:38.020
If you're watching this video, it means that you have Wi-Fi
00:00:40.100
as well as some sort of device that connects you to the global economy.
00:00:48.200
If you still can't figure out how to make money, shame on you.
00:00:53.340
because there's a lot of people I know who don't make much money
00:01:02.140
You know, you can tell a lot when you actually look someone in the eyes.
00:01:06.040
And you can tell, are they saying this just to cope with their situation?
00:01:10.820
And they're like, yeah, like I make more money.
00:01:15.800
And I don't believe it's in everyone's destiny to become a multimillionaire.
00:01:19.280
But if you're watching this video right now, it tells me everything I need to know,
00:01:22.280
which is you are not happy with your financial situation.
00:01:24.740
You know, as I said, I am never bothered by a fat person who looks himself in the mirror
00:01:29.720
You know, maybe I could lose a little bit of weight.
00:01:31.260
Maybe I could lower my body fat percentage, but I'm fine with where I am.
00:01:34.200
You know, my issue is when I see fat people explaining 101 different reasons why.
00:01:40.300
Or there's this special reason why I'm different compared to everyone else out there.
00:01:44.280
And I know these people live a very sad existence because they have to look themselves
00:01:47.200
in the mirror every single night and be okay with the fact that they lie to themselves.
00:01:51.340
The most important on earth, they lie to themselves.
00:01:59.060
You know, sometimes I don't drink for a few weeks.
00:02:00.680
Sometimes I drink every single day in a week, especially when I'm abroad traveling with friends.
00:02:06.600
No one is going to try to pretend that drinking alcohol is good for me.
00:02:09.360
At least when I'm drinking, I'm not there making 101 excuses why I can't stop or why
00:02:13.580
actually, you know what, maybe drinking is actually kind of good for you.
00:02:20.220
And in this situation, I have decided that the pros outweigh the cons, but I've made this
00:02:24.900
decision to drink on this particular day and I'm okay with it.
00:02:27.440
That is me being able to unemotionally assess my situation.
00:02:31.200
I've had many friends go, hey, I think you shouldn't smoke cigars.
00:02:34.100
And I'm like, I understand there's health implications, but it's one of those things that just I'm going
00:02:38.180
But the point is when someone gives me that sort of criticism or constructive criticism, I can look
00:02:42.080
at things objectively and I can assess the situation without getting triggered, without feeling a
00:02:46.520
person's attacking me, without feeling that I'm fundamentally a bad person or I'm flawed.
00:02:52.580
So the first reason you're poor is because you cannot look at your life critically without your
00:02:57.000
little ego getting shattered and without feeling like you have to make 101 different excuses for
00:03:02.040
the reason you're in the situation you're in right now.
00:03:03.800
Now, speaking of identity, identity is kind of a funny thing in 2022, because it feels as though
00:03:08.420
in the world right now, everyone kind of accepts you can change your identity and you can
00:03:12.880
You know, you could be a fan of one sport and then the next year, you know, start getting
00:03:17.440
And then now you identify as a fan of that sport.
00:03:20.100
You could be very into street style and identify as someone who dressed a little edgier.
00:03:25.380
Do you like this type of video or is it repetitive?
00:03:28.640
Some people I see in the chat is calling it generic.
00:03:35.260
We're going to talk to him on stream right now.
00:03:38.260
And Chad, also, I'm going to Romania tomorrow to meet up with Luke Belmar, Fresh and Fit,
00:04:12.260
The 17 side hustles you can start doing in 2022.
00:04:22.260
Jordan was saying I should do a, like, I spent a day with the Tate brothers main channel
00:04:40.260
I just bought a $5,000 MacBook today to try to be able to stream while I'm in Europe.
00:04:54.260
Nothing more important during this 2022 recession than increasing your ability to earn income.
00:04:59.260
I don't know if you've noticed, but there is money everywhere.
00:05:04.260
So in this video, I wanted to put together a list of 17 side hustles.
00:05:12.260
But destiny will tell you that it's just crypto, that it's all scam.
00:05:22.260
A little bit of supplementary income on the side.
00:05:24.260
Now, if you want a comparison of the eight most common business models, I actually created
00:05:30.260
I uploaded a YouTube video earlier this year using an equation and a formula to basically
00:05:34.260
get down to the bottom of which online business model is the best.
00:05:36.260
I'm going to leave it as a first link in the description if you want to watch it.
00:05:43.260
TikTok is blowing up right now because of its algorithms.
00:05:46.260
And for both people and businesses, it is a very valuable asset.
00:05:50.260
So whether you're actually creating user generated content for businesses or you're just being
00:05:54.260
a TikTok editor for an influencer or a business that can actually go ahead and repurpose.
00:05:58.260
Or for example, there's so many podcasts out there.
00:06:00.260
You can actually come in and repurpose all of their podcast content and tell them, hey,
00:06:04.260
I'm going to create an entirely new channel for you with TikTok.
00:06:10.260
Then go ahead and look at places like Twitter and search graphic design help on Twitter.
00:06:15.260
You know, on Twitter, people will put out, hey, do you know any good graphic designers?
00:06:18.260
This is actually a very easy way to get clients.
00:06:20.260
You need to understand that there are hundreds of thousands of businesses out there that need better graphic design work
00:06:25.260
and the difference in pay that they're willing to give between a good graphic designer and a great graphic designer is massive.
00:06:31.260
Number three, we have a boutique marketing agency.
00:06:35.260
It could be literally anything, whether that be thumbnails, Facebook ads, Google ads, TikTok ads, email marketing,
00:06:40.260
whatever it is, basically any service that helps businesses make more money.
00:06:43.260
And the agency aspect of it is simply using leverage.
00:06:46.260
No longer just doing it yourself, but using drop servicing to actually have someone else fulfill the services for you.
00:06:51.260
You're just finding the clients and wrapping it all under your experience.
00:06:55.260
By the way, that business small is actually how I got to $80,000 a month back in 2018, two years into running my agency.
00:07:03.260
Do you have something that you are super excited to talk about something?
00:07:06.260
You know, you just can't stop talking about to your friends.
00:07:08.260
And have you always felt that you might have a good propensity for being on camera?
00:07:11.260
Well, being a YouTuber can actually be super, super lucrative.
00:07:14.260
Bear in mind, it's a very, very slow burn for a long time.
00:07:20.260
I basically made like zero money all the way up until 20, 2021.
00:07:24.260
These days, I make close to $50,000 a month in AdSense.
00:07:27.260
And for most of, for example, 2019, I had monetization turned off anyways.
00:07:30.260
But these days, I make close to $50,000 a month.
00:07:40.260
If you make finance videos, your CPM is going to be so fucking high.
00:07:43.260
Jordan Welch and Imangachi, bro, they make like $50,000, $60,000 giving advice videos, stuff like that.
00:07:49.260
The thing is, you can't really make these videos unless you have other business ventures because you can't just be talking about nothing.
00:07:55.260
But $50,000 a month from this channel is crazy, bro.
00:08:05.260
Chad, someone tell me why it has to be on the left wrist.
00:08:07.260
Why is everyone like so fucking, return the watch and get Seiko's cost $300 instead of $30,000.
00:08:22.260
Yeah, well, I don't like to walk around with like icy shit, bro.
00:08:47.260
You know, even if you're just earning an extra $1,500 a month doing something that you probably would-
00:08:54.260
And you know what I just learned yesterday going out to dinner with him and Jordan?
00:09:06.260
That's why all these rich people are going to Puerto Rico, Dubai, and all the bad bitches are there.
00:09:21.260
Would have loved to do anyways or talking about something and it could be anything.
00:09:24.260
You could be super into chess and you could teach people how to play chess online or you could react to certain games.
00:09:32.260
Now people were making so much money between 2014, 2017, even 2018 with Instagram theme pages.
00:09:38.260
I, in fact, was one of those people with the first business I ever started was Instagram theme pages.
00:09:42.260
And then basically flipping accounts, rebranding them to more profit.
00:09:55.260
Well, niches are basically selling shout outs and promotions and stuff like that.
00:10:00.260
Now that is all great, but that got very, very saturated.
00:10:09.260
Now, let's say you're very, very, very intrigued, excited, interested about a topic.
00:10:13.260
And, you know, nothing against you for it, but you may just not have the sort.
00:10:19.260
You just invest in a shit coin and then just hope you get lucky.
00:10:22.260
You don't need to be a streamer, but you could be a YouTube script writer, YouTube editor, YouTube manager.
00:10:28.260
And this is what I know because I'm a YouTuber.
00:10:30.260
There's so many hustles behind the scenes, bro.
00:10:34.260
Then you can actually be a YouTube script writer and you look at the music industry, for example,
00:10:38.260
and there are so many script writers that are actually sort of the heartbeat and the lifeblood.
00:10:43.260
You've never seen those videos where it's just an automated thing and people are giving life stories and stuff like that.
00:10:47.260
There's so many of these channels that you guys probably don't watch it, but there's a big demographic of people who watch this on YouTube.
00:10:55.260
You can serve that exact same purpose by being a YouTube script writer for a YouTuber.
00:11:01.260
If there is something that you have mastered, you are talented, whether that be chess coach.
00:11:05.260
You know, there's a lot of people who want to improve chess.
00:11:08.260
You could be a guitar coach and you could do that remotely via Zoom.
00:11:12.260
You could be whatever sort of coach that you want.
00:11:14.260
You know, if there's something that you're very, very good at, then you can.
00:11:24.260
And by the way, if some of you guys have a little bit of apprehension towards, you know, coaching.
00:11:29.260
Just start off your hourly rate at like $20 or something.
00:11:35.260
Next side hustle is video editing, creating some bangers for people.
00:11:39.260
Look, all this shit you can find out in the creativity content is the current best form of marketing.
00:11:44.260
So if you can create videos for people, whether that be shorts, reels, actual YouTube videos, full blown YouTube videos, literally whatever it is, if you can do it and you can do it in a way where you turn things around quickly, because a lot of people and a lot of editors are just way too slow.
00:11:56.260
And number two, if you can do it in a way where you look at everything through the lens of the highest retention, you know, specifically tell clients, hey, I edit things in a way where you're going to do it.
00:12:04.260
In a way where you're going to get the best retention possible.
00:12:06.260
You are going to get the highest percentage of people watching the video from the beginning to the end.
00:12:14.260
This is very good, especially if you have a lot of stuff around the house that you can sell from day one.
00:12:18.260
And if you don't have that, you can pull a Gary V and basically go bully some seven year olds at a garage sale.
00:12:28.260
People working fucking four hours for 30 bucks.
00:12:31.260
I'm only joking, but I do find some of those videos pretty funny.
00:12:33.260
So yeah, you can get some of those stuff and then go ahead and list it on eBay.
00:12:37.260
And you know, a lot of your competition won't know how to list things properly.
00:12:42.260
You know, they won't know how to actually take photos with the right lighting.
00:12:44.260
So if you know how to do that, you're going to have a massive competitive advantage.
00:12:47.260
And this side hustle has been there for thousands and thousands of years.
00:12:53.260
Okay. There will always be a difference between the people who don't know how to market and the people that do.
00:12:57.260
And you take two people selling the exact same thing.
00:13:02.260
And this person will sell it for twice, three times, five times, 10 times the amount that this person did.
00:13:07.260
And they both bought it for the exact same price.
00:13:11.260
Now people will pay a lot of money if you can take care of their emails for them, weekly newsletter, whatever, you know, any sort of form, you know, their Facebook updates, anything they need to do to actually get written word out.
00:13:22.260
Even their Twitter posts, anything you can do to help alleviate the stress that they have of putting out written content.
00:13:27.260
You know, there's only three or four skills where I would say no matter who you are, if you can learn it, and it doesn't really matter what industry you get into, it will serve you for the rest of your life.
00:13:38.260
So as I said, whether that's helping with emails, whether that's helping with sales scripts, whether that's helping with landing pages, you know, Twitter posts, anything.
00:13:44.260
If you can help people articulate, present themselves and sell more via written word, you in return will get paid a lot of money.
00:13:52.260
Speaking of skills that will carry through for the rest of your life.
