SNEAKO - Why Woke Movies Go Broke

00:00:00.000 Everything wrong with woke culture and the impact on feminism, 2021. 1.00

00:00:04.240 Recently, there's been quite a surge in the representation of women across all media,

00:00:09.280 like movies and TV shows, including women at the helm of decades-old franchises, 1.00

00:00:14.500 even taking over roles that are traditionally held by men.

00:00:17.800 And honestly, fans have loved it.

00:00:20.260 While it is a big change for everyone, everyone has respected the change

00:00:24.700 and shown up in droves to support these new female heroes. 1.00

00:00:27.920 No, I'm just kidding. Everyone hates it.

00:00:31.240 And everyone is really damn pissed about it.

00:00:33.940 Chat, what do you think about female Ghostbusters, Captain Marvel, The Last Jedi,

00:00:39.680 all the f- the wokeness that's been infecting in these movies.

00:00:43.360 Can't you tell, like, all the trans movies?

00:00:45.320 They're- they're trying to put an agenda in everything we watch.

00:00:48.800 Can't you feel it? Can't you see it?

00:00:50.440 This is why I don't even go to the movies anymore.

00:00:51.860 And the reviews and box office numbers are just as bad as people say.

00:00:55.500 No matter how much Rotten Tomatoes tries to convince us otherwise.

00:00:58.680 But why? 0.99

00:00:59.660 Well, it's probably because everybody hates women. 1.00

00:01:02.400 Nope, that's not why. 0.81

00:01:03.880 Turns out 50% of the population is female. 0.90

00:01:06.580 And you know what?

00:01:07.680 They're not going to see these movies or supporting these TV shows either. 0.95

00:01:11.320 Is it because women hate women? 1.00

00:01:14.480 No, it's because these movies- 1.00

00:01:16.500 Suck! These movies suck! 1.00

00:01:19.140 These TV shows are, spoiler alert, really bad. 0.99

00:01:22.840 And that's what we're going to talk about today.

00:01:25.040 The problem with the modern and very woke representation of women. 0.85

00:01:29.380 Now, speaking as a woman of brownish color,

00:01:31.980 I have to say that I don't really see myself connecting with the new Batwoman,

00:01:35.900 Rey Skywalker, the new female Doctor, the new Mulan,

00:01:39.560 Captain Marvel, the Charlie's Angels,

00:01:42.100 Harley Quinn, and especially not Commander Holdo,

00:01:45.020 or as I like to call her, Purple-

00:01:46.580 Harley Quinn is just like the face of thought. 0.55

00:01:49.120 Hair lady from Star Wars.

00:01:50.480 I just don't like any of these characters.

00:01:53.780 So stick to your post and follow my orders.

00:01:57.540 Listen to me.

00:01:59.120 I'm a woke woman with purple hair.

00:02:01.120 Oh God, especially not Commander Holdo.

00:02:03.340 No, no.

00:02:03.920 When I think of incredible badass women, 1.00

00:02:06.740 I think of Black Widow or Rita Ver- 0.98

00:02:08.900 Black Widow makes no goddamn sense, chat. 1.00

00:02:11.260 Why is she wearing tights? 1.00

00:02:13.100 Why is she wearing black leather tights? 1.00

00:02:15.460 And she has like the-

00:02:16.980 And every time she finishes a fight scene with rubble and everywhere,

00:02:19.580 she's always like, ah, ah, perfect makeup, hair perfectly done. 0.79

00:02:24.000 Oh, my boobs. 0.81

00:02:25.160 Huh. 0.99

00:02:25.420 Like she has spandex on like perfect.

00:02:27.760 She's always walking like she's on the runway. 0.99

00:02:29.920 No matter-

00:02:30.420 It's just like sexy fighting. 0.96

00:02:32.040 This is not conducive to beating up a villain.

00:02:34.760 You look like you're on, you know, a drag show. 0.96

00:02:38.100 Brutaski from Edge of Tomorrow and Zoe from Firefly.

00:02:41.580 I think of Eowyn taking down the Witch King of Agmar in Lord of the Rings 1.00

00:02:45.560 and Wonder Woman walking into No Man's Land.

00:02:49.300 This scene just gives me goosebumps.

00:02:51.700 The reason I absolutely love these characters is because their ability is apparent,

00:02:56.780 but oh so understated.

00:02:58.580 Their gender is never brought up as a justification, excuse, or any sort of complaint.

00:03:03.300 Hair flip right after being aware of their strengths and weaknesses

00:03:07.860 and use other people's perceptions of their gender to their advantage.

00:03:11.580 Look at her.

00:03:11.900 It's like, look at that full-

00:03:13.340 She has time to do eye shadow. 0.73

00:03:15.440 Like her everything is perfectly done before a torture scene.

00:03:20.140 Like when Natasha Romanoff- 1.00

00:03:21.860 She's even got the li-li-li, bro.

00:03:23.460 And use other people's perceptions of their gender to their advantage.

00:03:26.520 She- 0.99

00:03:26.800 Even while being tortured, she-

00:03:28.920 Like when Natasha Romanoff lets Russian gangsters think 0.99

00:03:33.200 that they have her overpowered

00:03:34.680 when really she can easily break out whenever she wants.

00:03:39.740 Yeah, you go girl.

00:03:41.120 Fight that these women fight for higher callings than themselves. 0.92

00:03:44.320 They fight for peace or for justice.

00:03:46.540 And the ultimate goal isn't their own glory,

00:03:48.980 but the triumph of good over evil.

00:03:51.340 I'm a soldier.

00:03:52.520 I volunteered.

00:03:53.580 I'm not walking away.

00:03:54.520 And I have to say that my absolute favorite thing about them

00:03:57.180 is that they don't hate men.

00:03:59.780 They don't feel threatened or put upon by the men around them.

00:04:03.160 Instead, they form bonds with them

00:04:04.780 and work with them shoulder to shoulder.

00:04:07.440 Look how inefficient her whole fit is. 1.00

00:04:11.160 As equals.

00:04:12.500 And their own power is not-

00:04:14.380 Like why-

00:04:15.960 She has so much skin exposed. 0.99

00:04:20.300 Why do you need to show cleavage when you're going to war?

00:04:22.760 You see how Batman and Superman,

00:04:24.100 at least it's like covering your whole body.

00:04:25.800 Her whole thighs is out. 1.00

00:04:28.220 You got cleavage to go to war? 1.00

00:04:30.480 Diminished in comparison.

00:04:32.160 They're not here to destroy the patriarchy.

00:04:34.820 They're here to do what's right.

00:04:36.500 Now, the creators of these new female characters 0.95

00:04:39.220 would probably say the same thing.

00:04:41.000 That these characters are here to do the right thing

00:04:43.500 and give young girls everywhere positive representations to look up to.

00:04:47.780 But how have they done that?

00:04:49.380 Well, let's look at the first mistake that woke feminism is making. 1.00

00:04:52.300 And that is taking over existing male franchises. 1.00

00:04:56.020 Female Ghostbusters! 1.00

00:04:57.940 A few years ago, it was announced that Doctor Who,

00:05:00.620 a BBC program that has been a staple of British programming

00:05:03.960 for the better part of the last-

00:05:05.280 Doctor Her! 1.00

00:05:06.740 ...six decades,

00:05:07.660 would for the first time feature a female doctor.

00:05:10.640 Now, to say that all the fans were against this

00:05:13.400 would be just as inaccurate as saying that everyone was for it.

00:05:16.800 People were intrigued about this new direction,

00:05:19.120 but were worried that their favorite show would get the same treatment

00:05:22.720 that Star Wars and Ghostbusters had gotten before it.

00:05:26.360 Search male, replace with female, with a lethal dose. 1.00

00:05:30.680 And these movies suck. 1.00

00:05:33.160 Suck. 1.00

00:05:33.860 Of identity politics. 1.00

00:05:35.240 You see, in recent years,

00:05:36.620 the introduction of female-led media

00:05:38.240 has not been simply a nod to female empowerment

00:05:41.160 and the opportunity to take stories into new and interesting directions.

00:05:44.940 No, it's usually accompanied with some pretty heavy-handed reinforcement

00:05:49.160 of about time,

00:05:50.860 and this is what we all need.

00:05:52.800 And while it can sound empowering,

00:05:54.800 it comes off as very self-congratulatory

00:05:57.220 and self-aggrandizing

00:05:58.740 and completely distracts from why people tune in every week.

00:06:02.820 The story and the characters.

00:06:04.720 Boring!

00:06:05.580 And this is the second mistake that woke them up.

00:06:07.580 The whole point of these movies is not like

00:06:09.540 there's no story at the end.

00:06:10.780 It's just like,

00:06:11.260 yeah, women can do it too. 1.00

00:06:14.760 And what about it, man?

00:06:17.060 Oh, you think you could stop me?

00:06:19.500 Well, I'm a woman.

00:06:21.700 And we're the same.

00:06:23.760 ...ism is making.

00:06:24.940 It feels entitled to its success.

00:06:27.680 Remember when Charlie's Angels was set to release a few years ago

00:06:30.840 and people were doubting whether it would be a good movie?

00:06:33.520 And here's what the director, Elizabeth Banks, had to say about it.

00:06:36.820 My real plea is for men to have enough empathy

00:06:41.320 to go see movies starring women.

00:06:43.720 What?

00:06:45.300 That's... 1.00

00:06:45.740 How stupid is that? 1.00

00:06:47.820 Bro, no one wants to go to the movies for empathy? 1.00

00:06:50.300 I don't give up.

00:06:50.720 I want to be entertained.

00:06:51.680 I need some popcorn.

00:06:53.060 Not, well, yeah, I want to empower...

00:06:54.900 Hey, yo, bros.

00:06:56.880 Let's go to the movies.

00:06:59.300 We're about to empower some women. 1.00

00:07:02.160 Nah.

00:07:03.320 I don't want to watch The Godfather.

00:07:04.900 I want to have some empathy.

00:07:09.400 Because I've been asked to go see movies starring men my entire life

00:07:13.560 and happily have done so. 0.90

00:07:16.120 And I don't know why men don't return the f***ing favor. 0.81

00:07:19.940 Now, female creators or male creators... 1.00

00:07:22.200 Return the favor?

00:07:24.800 Are you going to shame me into watching your terrible movie?

00:07:27.220 ...of female empowering shows might feel they're justified 1.00

00:07:30.540 in their sense of entitlement of success, support...

00:07:33.540 Yeah, they're not actually making good movies.

00:07:35.720 They're just jealous that their movies are worse

00:07:37.820 and they feel entitled female viewers are lower 1.00

00:07:40.120 because your movies suck. 1.00

00:07:41.960 Can you take... 1.00

00:07:42.480 They don't even take accountability in Hollywood.

00:07:45.300 That's how bad they are, bro.

00:07:46.820 You're just worse at making movies.

00:07:48.500 Don't get mad at me because I don't have empathy to watch your movies. 1.00

00:07:51.880 Your movies suck. 0.99

00:07:53.040 ...and loyalty from fanbases. 0.98

00:07:55.360 But that doesn't mean that people are going to give it to them.

00:07:58.540 In fact, entitlement is often universally met with scorn and mockery.

00:08:03.840 But of course, they don't think that they're being entitled.

00:08:06.280 They think that they're asking for what they're due.

00:08:08.840 Oh wait, that is the definition of entitlement.

00:08:11.220 But the energy they're spending on demanding success

00:08:13.780 is the energy they're not spending where they need to.

00:08:16.800 And this is the next mistake that woke feminism is making. 1.00

00:08:19.440 The characters, these examples for young girls everywhere.

00:08:22.800 Well, they're not that great.

00:08:24.360 I need you to fix his suit.

00:08:27.660 The suit is literal perfection.

00:08:30.560 It will be.

00:08:32.320 If a woman made it. 0.99

00:08:33.980 When it fits a woman. 1.00

00:08:35.140 Shut the fuck up. 1.00

00:08:36.160 You look like a boy. 1.00

00:08:37.420 You look like a 12-year-old boy saying feminist nonsense. 1.00

00:08:40.900 Like, if you're going to do this women in power shit, 1.00

00:08:42.660 at least pick a feminine-looking woman. 1.00

00:08:46.380 Look how dumb that was, bro. 0.99

00:08:50.520 Okay, hold on. 0.99

00:08:51.240 Let's break down how little sense that made.

00:08:52.360 I need you to fix his suit.

00:08:53.720 I need you to fix a suit.

00:08:56.000 So I need you to turn Batman into Batwoman.

00:08:59.180 The suit is literal perfection.

00:09:01.020 It's literal perfection.

00:09:01.980 Batman is a system that's been working for decades.

00:09:05.180 It will be.

00:09:07.120 When it fits a woman. 0.95

00:09:08.580 It will be perfect when it fits a woman.

00:09:10.840 Okay, Batman does not need changing.

00:09:12.560 Clearly it works. 1.00

00:09:13.540 And nobody even watched this shit. 1.00

00:09:15.080 Do you see that they don't even need to make anything good? 1.00

00:09:19.500 They put intense music over feminist garbage when a woman makes it. 1.00

00:09:23.640 They just made it worse. 1.00

00:09:26.420 Why don't you make your own fucking movie? 1.00

00:09:31.200 God damn. 1.00

00:09:33.740 Imagine the hubris of taking the work of someone else. 0.99

00:09:38.060 Bruce Wayne in the...

00:09:38.920 And saying it's going to be better if you put a woman in it. 1.00

00:09:42.020 ...situation.

00:09:42.140 Someone who battle-tested and designed something for them. 0.96

00:09:45.280 Look at her little cleavage boobs, bro. 1.00

00:09:48.560 Imagine strolling in and demanding that... 0.99

00:09:51.680 What happens when Batwoman gets her period? 1.00

00:09:54.420 ...the suit be fixed to fit you.

00:09:57.740 And that it is only perfect once it fits a woman who did nothing to earn it. 0.73

00:10:03.380 At all!

00:10:04.180 Except be a woman. 0.96

00:10:05.800 I'm...

00:10:06.120 Yeah!

00:10:06.640 Why?

00:10:06.900 How is it perfect?

00:10:07.820 Because you're in it. 1.00

00:10:09.000 You're just a woman with fucking pixie cut hair. 1.00

00:10:11.660 You have lesbian hair. 1.00

00:10:12.640 Sorry. 0.95

00:10:13.160 Am I supposed to connect with this behavior?

00:10:15.720 Am I supposed to look at this and applaud?

00:10:17.780 Yes.

00:10:18.360 You're supposed to be like, yeah!

00:10:19.800 You go, girl! 0.97

00:10:21.420 This as a win and apply it into my own life?

00:10:24.460 Am I supposed to barge into someone's office while they're out to lunch

00:10:28.220 and demand that they swap out the name on the door?

00:10:31.160 How about this scene from Doctor Who?

00:10:33.120 Where an MI6 official assumes the Doctor is a man.

00:10:36.340 A fair assumption since the Doctor has been a man for many decades.

00:10:40.280 Does the female Doctor handle it with grace? 1.00

00:10:42.580 With maturity?

00:10:43.760 And earn the respect of her audience?

00:10:45.560 Um, I'm a woman, actually.

00:10:48.240 As well as everyone around her?

00:10:51.160 You thought it was a man?

00:10:52.700 Well, guess again.

00:10:59.800 I've had an upgrade.

00:11:01.660 Hi.

00:11:01.940 Really?

00:11:03.800 An upgrade!

00:11:06.160 Really?

00:11:06.840 Did you really need to put down every man that has come before you?

00:11:10.840 That's women empowerment is just belittling men. 1.00

00:11:14.040 It will be perfect when a woman does it. 1.00

00:11:17.500 Shut the f- 0.99

00:11:18.740 Just, just- 0.97

00:11:19.820 Why do they need to kneel down for you to stand up?

00:11:23.340 And that's the problem with these characters.

00:11:25.460 There is such a bitterness in them.

00:11:27.260 They're not-

00:11:27.660 It's salty.

00:11:28.920 Women are just jealous of the power that men have. 1.00

00:11:32.740 They're jealous that we make better movies.

00:11:34.800 They're jealous that we have better superheroes. 0.63

00:11:37.120 So instead of making their own,

00:11:38.720 they just complain and shame you into watching their terrible movies with empathy.

00:11:42.280 That's it.

00:11:45.380 You just weren't-

00:11:46.200 You're worse at it.

00:11:47.540 You can't do it.

00:11:49.240 Sorry!

00:11:50.440 Even women don't like your movies. 1.00

00:11:53.200 Um, but you must hate women too. 1.00

00:11:55.460 You're part of the problem. 0.99

00:11:57.100 Oh, God.

00:11:58.060 This is not even fun anymore.

00:11:59.560 Movies are supposed to be fun.

00:12:00.720 This is a protest.

00:12:02.060 Working for something bigger than them.

00:12:04.000 They're driven by vengeance and anger.

00:12:06.680 I'm not about to let a man take credit for a woman's work. 1.00

00:12:09.900 Yes, you-

00:12:10.720 What?

00:12:13.620 By vengeance and anger.

00:12:16.180 I'm not about to let a man take credit for a woman's work. 1.00

00:12:18.880 That's exactly what Catwoman is! 1.00

00:12:21.420 A bitch taking credit for a man's work! 1.00

00:12:25.560 It was written by a man. 1.00

00:12:27.060 Bruce Wayne's a man.

00:12:28.260 It's called Batman!

00:12:31.080 Okay, but-

00:12:32.080 But you just took credit for Batman's work.

00:12:35.600 So that's okay.

00:12:36.680 This antagonistic behavior-

00:12:38.340 Oh, she's the worst. 1.00

00:12:39.420 She's just absolutely the worst person alive. 0.94

00:12:42.080 Assumes that we just hand over success to men simply for being men.

00:12:46.320 By that logic, no male-led movie ever does badly.

00:12:49.620 And no male character is ever criticized or disliked.

00:12:52.780 That would mean that Solo, a movie about a well-known, beloved male character, should

00:12:57.620 have done well.

00:12:58.480 But it didn't.

00:12:59.480 I can't believe I need to say this, but success needs to be earned.

00:13:03.880 But woke feminism thinks that if you don't like these characters, then- 1.00

00:13:07.340 You're just part of the problem, you misogynist and sal. 0.98

00:13:10.500 You are a sexist. 1.00

00:13:11.880 This is the next mistake of woke feminism. 1.00

00:13:14.320 There is no such thing as legitimate criticism.

00:13:16.740 No, any criticism of these totally incredible characters must be born out of-

00:13:21.400 Ew, why does she look like a they-them? 1.00

00:13:23.780 You never see a 75-year-old they-them gender fluid. 1.00

00:13:27.960 Just like the purple hair.

00:13:29.580 You knew who wrote this character, right? 0.99

00:13:31.780 You could see her like some fat lesbian with a septum piercing was like designing like a- 1.00

00:13:37.180 A strong feminine role model. 1.00

00:13:39.960 And he-

00:13:40.740 He-

00:13:40.940 He look- 1.00

00:13:41.740 He look dumb. 1.00

00:13:42.400 Bitter jealousy and a deep desire to keep women down. 1.00

00:13:45.680 That if you dislike a female character, it's because she possesses power and we are more

00:13:50.140 comfortable with seeing women in subservient positions. 0.71

00:13:53.160 Even we women who criticize them don't apparently realize the years of brainwashing we've undergone 0.98

00:13:58.740 that has told us that the woman's place- 0.98

00:14:00.440 It's not brainwashing, dummy. 0.92

00:14:03.220 It's biology.

00:14:04.920 This is one step behind the man, if not in the kitchen.

00:14:08.480 On to the next mistake that woke feminism makes. 1.00

00:14:11.040 It's unshakable belief that it is saving society.

00:14:14.780 Nope!

00:14:15.620 You're ruining it! 1.00

00:14:16.500 That men would be bigoted toxic fools if woke feminists weren't putting them in their place. 1.00

00:14:20.880 And that women would be helpless, knitting by the fire, and weeping into their handkerchiefs, 1.00

00:14:26.320 wondering when the men would be home.

00:14:27.940 That young women everywhere would have no role models without woke feminism. 1.00

00:14:32.340 Born out of yet another flawed belief that you need to see exactly yourself on screen.

00:14:37.240 Someone who has your skin color, your background, in order to connect with them.

00:14:40.960 But that's not how human beings-

00:14:42.880 Nope!

00:14:44.440 ...work.

00:14:45.020 And that's not how imagination works.

00:14:47.200 Regardless, more female representation on screen is a good thing. 1.00

00:14:51.440 Meh.

00:14:53.020 No, it's not.

00:14:54.260 Like, we have this false idea that movies need to have an accurate representation of more care-

00:14:59.860 Just make a good movie.

00:15:02.580 It's not a protest.

00:15:04.100 It's not a woke battle.

00:15:05.280 Just make a good movie or don't.

00:15:06.860 And feminism has been doing a great job on that front for many decades now. 1.00

00:15:11.120 That is until woke feminism came out of nowhere, 1.00

00:15:13.660 punched traditional feminism in the gut, 1.00

00:15:15.720 and said it was here to save it.

00:15:17.700 Remember when Captain Marvel came out and made a billion dollars at the box office

00:15:22.460 and everyone was like congratulating Brie Larson?

00:15:25.300 And she was like,

00:15:25.900 Guys, women can be leads in movies just like men. 1.00

00:15:29.360 Jeez.

00:15:30.140 I think what drives me crazy about this is that there is absolutely no acknowledgement of the past.

00:15:35.720 As if Sarah Connor did not terminate the Terminator and Ripley did not destroy the alien.

00:15:40.480 As if these women didn't decades ago dominate the box office as badass action heroes. 1.00

00:15:46.020 Strong female character-

00:15:47.220 Yeah, I know, but she's just built like a dude. 1.00

00:15:49.580 Like, why is she doing dude? 1.00

00:15:51.040 If you-

00:15:51.440 Is this attractive at all?

00:15:54.340 Like, a woman empowerment is just becoming a man. 0.71

00:15:57.960 ...been speaking well for their gender far longer than the woke feminists would have you believe. 1.00

00:16:02.080 Someone donated 15 whatever and said,

00:16:04.020 Sneeko, prove you're not a bot, you little bot. 1.00

00:16:06.100 Um, you just sent me money while I'm streaming.

00:16:08.780 Thank you.

00:16:09.500 But there's one clear difference between the two types of representations.

00:16:13.840 These females coming onto the screen weren't perfect superheroes. 1.00

00:16:17.180 No, they had shortcomings and they were up against insurmountable odds.

00:16:21.520 And they fought back.

00:16:22.760 They learned.

00:16:23.480 They grew.

00:16:24.160 And when they overcame the enemy,

00:16:25.740 we saw ourselves in them and believed that we too could overcome everything that scares us.

00:16:31.020 Well, what about the female characters of today?

00:16:33.560 They're either completely perfect or other times they're rude, arrogant, and- 1.00

00:16:38.020 Yeah, they're just bitches, bro. 1.00

00:16:39.940 Like, not even in a good way, they're just bitchy. 1.00

00:16:41.920 It's just like representing the feminist attitude towards men. 1.00

00:16:45.320 Um, men are trash. 1.00

00:16:46.800 I could do it better than you. 1.00

00:16:48.000 Like, okay, bitch. 1.00

00:16:49.120 Like, Jesus Christ. 1.00

00:16:50.920 Is this a character?

00:16:52.940 Are you just trying to get revenge on screen?

00:16:55.120 Entitled and tend to stay that way.

00:16:57.600 You're a female Bruce Wayne. 1.00

00:16:59.360 Awesome.

00:17:00.360 Hilarious.

00:17:01.760 Handsome.

00:17:03.720 Handsome?

00:17:04.460 Are you a woman or a-

00:17:05.820 Female Bruce Wayne. 0.94

00:17:07.080 Awesome.

00:17:08.480 Look how-

00:17:08.900 Look how annoying they are. 0.99

00:17:10.240 They're just bitchy. 1.00

00:17:11.500 You know girls like this in real life? 1.00

00:17:13.080 Like, they're just the worst to be around.

00:17:14.840 It's like, okay, we get it.

00:17:16.180 Ugh. 1.00

00:17:16.860 Their whole personality is just being a bitch and she thinks it's a protest 24-7? 1.00

00:17:21.020 Like, leave me alone. 1.00

00:17:22.060 Like, you can be a nice person too.

00:17:24.260 Hilarious.

00:17:25.620 Ech.

00:17:26.120 Ech.

00:17:26.860 You look like a 15-year-old boy, bro. 1.00

00:17:28.560 You look like, ah, shit. 1.00

00:17:30.400 Who was that? 1.00

00:17:31.120 What's that YouTuber she looks like? 1.00

00:17:34.160 Fuck. 1.00

00:17:35.080 Ah, I don't remember. 1.00

00:17:36.200 I don't remember.

00:17:36.840 But you look like a TikTok e-boy.

00:17:39.500 Handsome.

00:17:40.540 What? 0.99

00:17:40.680 Why'd she do the fuckboy lips? 1.00

00:17:43.000 I hate this guy. 1.00

00:17:43.940 I hate- 0.99

00:17:44.520 Handsome.

00:17:48.240 She went awesome.

00:17:51.120 Hilarious.

00:17:52.180 Handsome.

00:17:53.940 There's nothing feminine about this.

00:17:56.940 Look at you. 1.00

00:17:57.920 Fuckboy face. 1.00

00:17:59.320 Most commonly, we associate these traits with brash men. 1.00

00:18:02.460 Big man in a suit of armor.

00:18:05.180 Take that off.

00:18:06.220 What are you?

00:18:07.100 Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.

00:18:09.300 I know guys with none of that worth 10 of you.

00:18:13.000 If our main hero-

00:18:13.960 And she just did it worse. 1.00

00:18:15.120 He just said it with facts like, genius, billionaire, philanthropist.

00:18:17.720 She went, yeah, hilarious, awesome.

00:18:21.640 Handsome.

00:18:22.660 You don't even have, like, swag with it.

00:18:24.680 Possesses these traits, then it's almost guaranteed that it will be their undoing.

00:18:28.980 That is, until they learn some much-needed humility.

00:18:31.800 The reason the Marvel franchise was so incredibly successful was because of the heart of it

00:18:36.320 was the transformation of two men.

00:18:39.120 Captain America started off-

00:18:40.480 Morgs! 0.91

00:18:41.080 That's exactly who it is.

00:18:42.340 She looks like Morgs.

00:18:46.820 Like, smart, awesome, hilarious, female, and power. 1.00

00:18:51.940 Ah, shit. 1.00

00:19:00.360 Sorry, Morgs. 0.99

00:19:01.000 I'm sorry.

00:19:01.420 But you look like Batwoman. 0.99

00:19:03.360 I'm sorry, man.

00:19:04.380 Girl.

00:19:05.320 You're in power, though.

00:19:06.140 Tony Stark went off as an idealistic, selfless servant to his country, but eventually learned

00:19:11.260 the tiny amount of selfishness needed for him to actually live his life and be happy.

00:19:16.200 Tony Stark went from a hedonistic, self-serving playboy, constantly impressed by his own genius,

00:19:21.820 to a man who found meaning and paid the ultimate price to preserve it.

00:19:25.940 People could connect with these heroes, see themselves in their struggles, and believe

00:19:30.360 that they too could rise from their errors and achieve greatness.

00:19:33.280 But the modern female woke- 1.00

00:19:36.640 Is a thought. 0.99

00:19:38.000 Ugh, she looks like a they-them with chlamydia. 0.99

00:19:40.080 Hero doesn't get this traditional hero's journey.

00:19:43.520 Mulan is no longer a scared girl, taking up arms for the first time in order to protect

00:19:48.560 her elderly father.

00:19:49.960 Earning her place in the army, and earning the respect of-

00:19:52.960 But even-

00:19:53.400 This movie was dope, but why can't there be like a female empowerment movie where she's 1.00

00:19:57.160 like empowering herself by doing female shit? 1.00

00:19:59.800 Mulan is just- 1.00

00:20:00.500 If you think about it, it's just a girl who's empowered by doing male shit. 1.00

00:20:03.660 That's every like female- 1.00

00:20:05.420 They can just be, you know, good women. 1.00

00:20:07.960 They don't need to be doing guy shit. 1.00

00:20:09.600 Mulan is a girl going undercover as a man to fight in the army. 0.99

00:20:14.100 There's no movie of-

00:20:15.320 Imagine if there was a movie of a guy going undercover as a woman. 0.99

00:20:18.780 That's just a comedy.

00:20:19.900 That's every-

00:20:20.640 Like every black comedian has a movie where they're just like jokingly put on a wig 1.00

00:20:24.560 and play a girl. 0.98

00:20:25.520 So it's a comedy when it's a guy because it looks ridiculous and nobody takes it seriously. 0.84

00:20:30.200 But when a woman dresses up like a man, it's a feminist icon. 1.00

00:20:34.080 Everyone around her.

00:20:35.920 No, in the new version, Mulan has always had Chi flowing through her and she was always

00:20:41.080 meant to be the greatest warrior of all time. 0.99

00:20:44.080 How do you fuck up Mulan? 0.99

00:20:46.500 What's holding her back is society's expectation that a woman should not fight. 1.00

00:20:51.200 Captain Marvel is the most powerful Avenger.

00:20:53.600 There's no competition for me because I'm the strongest.

00:20:55.460 Oh! 0.60

00:20:57.180 Eeeeh! 1.00

00:20:57.700 Look at these guys' faces like just the pain, the male pain listening to her.

00:21:06.820 So it's just kind of like a-

00:21:08.160 Eeeeh! 1.00

00:21:10.600 Eeeeh! 1.00

00:21:12.100 It's the most powerful Avenger.

00:21:13.940 There's no competition for me because I'm the strongest, so-

00:21:16.520 Because I'm the strongest?

00:21:19.060 Look at it! 1.00

00:21:19.980 Oh, shut up, bitch. 1.00

00:21:21.840 Ready, ready, ready? 1.00

00:21:22.700 Eeeeh! 1.00

00:21:24.320 Shut up, cunt! 1.00

00:21:25.380 And what's holding her back? 1.00

00:21:26.920 I guess her desire-

00:21:28.800 Eeeeh! 1.00

00:21:29.920 ...for her mentor's approval, I guess?

00:21:32.160 And she overcomes that easily.

00:21:34.020 Prove to me!

00:21:34.920 You can beat me with that! 0.99

00:21:37.200 Now, Rey-

00:21:38.280 Rey is, well, perfect.

00:21:40.020 Without a day of training, she can mind control-

00:21:42.200 You see how this represents all the females' ideas? 1.00

00:21:44.840 I'm about to watch this complicated right after this.

00:21:46.460 How they all think they're perfect.

00:21:48.480 None of them think they have to improve.

00:21:50.640 All of them are just like, I'm- 1.00

00:21:52.120 And they have all the same bitch attitudes. 1.00

00:21:54.460 All these feminist characters kind of have the same personalities every modern-day feminists. 1.00

00:21:59.740 I'm a 10.

00:22:01.020 I don't need to improve.

00:22:02.280 I don't take accountability. 1.00

00:22:03.700 I can be a bitch. 0.99

00:22:04.800 And you need to love me. 1.00

00:22:06.740 Even though I'm masculine, I have no feminine qualities.

00:22:10.020 You still need to be the man. 1.00

00:22:11.380 But I want to do man shit! 1.00

00:22:14.380 And hold a lightsaber! 1.00

00:22:15.760 That 10 thing was an attempt-

00:22:16.900 ...for guards and pick up a lightsaber and kick-

00:22:18.900 Yeah!

00:22:19.560 I'm a man, bro! 1.00

00:22:20.900 This is feeding him this garbage! 1.00

00:22:23.160 This is why all women think like this, bro! 1.00

00:22:25.420 Kylo Ren's butt. 0.99

00:22:26.480 She's amazing! 0.99

00:22:27.540 She can save the day!

00:22:28.780 What a queen! 1.00

00:22:29.700 What a bunch of queens! 1.00

00:22:31.220 Slaying all day! 1.00

00:22:32.380 Doing epic backflips and s***! 0.96

00:22:34.420 Like, who cares? 0.98

00:22:35.640 Look, I want a woman to save the day. 1.00

00:22:37.900 Yeah, movies are now, they're not even, like, trying to promote stories and any unique characters.

00:22:43.340 It's just, it's all the same, the same, like, it's supposed to make you feel good.

00:22:47.000 It's like a protest.

00:22:48.400 There's nothing, you're-

00:22:49.100 It's all very predictable.

00:22:50.600 I haven't been-

00:22:51.060 I haven't- 1.00

00:22:51.440 I fucking hate Marvel movies. 1.00

00:22:52.960 I know you love them, because, like, you know, but the Marvel movies just suck. 1.00

00:22:57.980 Like, you know what's gonna happen.

00:23:00.240 You know it's-

00:23:01.120 You really care about all the superheroes and the explosions and, like, you can see the videos

00:23:06.000 of people watching Endgame.

00:23:07.120 Yeah!

00:23:08.500 Cheering it on like a football game.

00:23:10.460 It's just corny.

00:23:12.120 I don't-

00:23:12.540 It really bothers me that those are the best-selling movies of all time, but it shows kind of the

00:23:16.820 bot mentality.

00:23:17.640 Like, you're supposed to like Avengers.

00:23:20.540 You're supposed to like-

00:23:22.240 So that's why I don't like it, you know?

00:23:24.080 There's nothing really, like, that unpredictable.

00:23:27.160 There's no arc in the character.

00:23:28.820 It's just like, yeah, I should watch this.

00:23:31.620 That's why I don't want to watch it, you know?

00:23:33.200 You know the ending.

00:23:34.220 You know Thanos is gonna lose.

00:23:35.620 Of course he's gonna lose.

00:23:37.120 I like that just as much as I like the man saving the day.

00:23:40.300 But is it too much to ask that it be earned?

00:23:42.960 That the powers and abilities aren't just handed to these characters, but that they

00:23:46.740 work at them.

00:23:48.000 They hone their skills, suffer defeats that they learned from, and meditate on losses,

00:23:52.640 and come back stronger than ever.

00:23:55.660 And can these women suffer consequences when they behave in terrible ways? 1.00

00:23:59.740 Like in The Last Jedi, when Commander Holdo does not share with her team what the plan

00:24:04.040 is for saving the last vestiges of the Rebellion.

00:24:06.720 Instead, when a male subordinate asks her what the plan is, she immediately insults him.

00:24:12.480 Before we can find a new base, so what's our plan?

00:24:15.900 What's the plan?

00:24:16.940 Simple, straight up question.

00:24:18.540 Our plan?

00:24:19.640 Captain?

00:24:21.080 Not Commander, right?

00:24:22.900 Wasn't it Leia's last official act of demotion?

00:24:24.720 Ugh, ugh, ugh.

00:24:26.140 Just passive-aggressive.

00:24:27.500 Love you.

00:24:27.780 She assumes that because he's a man, he is not entitled to communication.

00:24:32.920 The Rebellion is this close to being extinguished.

00:24:35.860 He's not here to have a pissing match with you.

00:24:38.160 He wants to be useful.

00:24:40.040 I just want to know what's going on.

00:24:42.660 Of course you do.

00:24:44.300 I understand.

00:24:45.920 I've dealt with plenty of trigger-happy flyboys like you.

00:24:48.720 Oh, God. 0.99

00:24:50.660 Can't, you really, can you not see the fat feminist writing this? 1.00

00:24:55.320 You're impulsive. 0.99

00:24:57.780 Dangerous.

00:24:58.900 Look at her being sexist right now. 1.00

00:25:00.360 I've met a bunch of boys like you.

00:25:02.540 You can't flip this.

00:25:03.740 It's just okay to belittle men in movies now.

00:25:07.220 And the last thing we need right now.

00:25:09.980 So stick to your post and follow my orders.

00:25:13.900 This is not good leadership.

00:25:15.920 This is ch-

00:25:16.480 Terrible leadership.

00:25:18.580 I would never want to work for her.

00:25:20.680 Baldish behavior. 1.00

00:25:21.860 Expecting that your team should follow you blindly.

00:25:24.360 And if they don't, it's because of their toxic masculinity. 0.98

00:25:27.140 And you know what?

00:25:28.360 She dies a hero.

00:25:29.620 And everyone's like, hooray.

00:25:31.060 We should always believe women, even when they're being terrible leaders. 1.00

00:25:35.200 Okay, can Hollywood come up with a better villain than just society?

00:25:39.080 That society doesn't-

00:25:40.140 Society!

00:25:41.240 ...believe in our female hero, so that's why she's not achieving greatness. 1.00

00:25:44.540 I know it's supposed to represent the struggles of women today.

00:25:48.040 But believing in yourself is just one of the aspects needed for success.

00:25:52.760 You know why I loved the first Wonder Woman movie?

00:25:55.420 Because despite Diana being literally a god killer, she isn't just an instant warrior.

00:26:00.640 No, she works at it. 0.81

00:26:01.960 She trains hard with incredible female warriors and takes falls and hard hits, but learns and grows. 1.00

00:26:08.860 So when we finally-

00:26:09.760 I'm learning and growing. 0.99

00:26:10.960 ...see her kick some German butt, we revel in it. 1.00

00:26:13.860 Because she's worked through blood, sweat, and tears to get that good. 0.98

00:26:17.740 But what about in the second movie?

00:26:19.280 Well, they undo all that.

00:26:20.780 They show a 10-year-old Diana easily besting women three times her age.

00:26:25.320 And ultimately-

00:26:25.800 It's just, it's all a fantasy. 1.00

00:26:27.520 It's all a fantasy for feminist garbage. 1.00

00:26:29.520 That's why movies suck now, because they all have a political agenda. 1.00

00:26:32.660 That's the most annoying part. 0.73

00:26:34.560 They're all thinking woke and cancel culture has just ruined movies, bro.

00:26:39.080 I didn't get to see Jordan Peele's new movie.

00:26:40.600 Nope, Chad.

00:26:41.040 I don't know if you watched WL on that.

00:26:42.740 But so far, like, what's the last time you saw, like, a good movie come out of theaters?

00:26:46.160 Like, a movie that wasn't just a remake of a remake?

00:26:48.400 A movie that wasn't a female version of a male movie? 1.00

00:26:51.380 Movies suck. 0.99

00:26:53.080 ...losing because of a minor detail. 0.99

00:26:55.580 So she's been magic the entire time?

00:26:58.060 Why did she need to train as hard as she did in the first movie as a teenager and as an adult?

00:27:03.400 The problem with these perfect princesses is that it's impossible to connect with them. 1.00

00:27:07.680 That's-

00:27:08.060 Well, because women don't know how to take accountability and don't want to improve. 1.00

00:27:10.980 It's not me.

00:27:11.780 I'm not perfect.

00:27:13.080 I'm not born with magic that makes me able to air kick spears at the enemy.

00:27:17.380 Sorry.

00:27:18.080 And if the lesson here is that every woman has innate abilities they're born with, 1.00

00:27:22.240 that are being squashed because of society's restrictions,

00:27:24.960 well, that's just a terrible lesson.

00:27:26.760 Because we're telling women that we have nothing to learn.

00:27:29.700 We're born-

00:27:29.980 Yep.

00:27:30.860 Women have nothing to learn. 1.00

00:27:33.000 And you'll see it.

00:27:34.720 I'm a 10.

00:27:35.320 I'm a 10.

00:27:35.800 I'm a 10.

00:27:36.480 Ah, nothing's wrong with me.

00:27:37.340 It's society's fault.

00:27:38.880 Just- 1.00

00:27:39.480 Women are goofy, bro. 1.00

00:27:41.600 Y'all are goofy. 1.00

00:27:42.720 Improve. 0.99

00:27:44.080 You're a 4. 1.00

00:27:45.560 Your shit smells bad. 1.00

00:27:47.460 Your personality's mid. 1.00

00:27:49.280 Y'all believe in the same things. 1.00

00:27:50.800 You echo the same garbage. 1.00

00:27:52.280 And you're petty. 1.00

00:27:54.080 Half of your personality's just hating on men.

00:27:56.760 That's not a personality. 0.96

00:27:58.340 You're bitter.

00:27:59.740 No one likes you.

00:28:00.700 We just maybe want to get ahead, but you're not worth the time.

00:28:04.280 Stop watching these movies because they're making it worse. 0.98

00:28:07.060 Captain Marvel, you're goofy. 0.61

00:28:09.300 Born with everything we're capable of being, 1.00

00:28:11.360 and we should only trust and listen to women and fuck men. 1.00

00:28:14.640 They're just interested in sex and keeping you down. 1.00

00:28:17.200 Well, that's all you got. 0.86

00:28:19.320 That's all you got.

00:28:20.240 I guess my question here is, what are woke feminists after? 1.00

00:28:24.040 Are they-

00:28:24.340 Power.

00:28:24.860 Quirking for equality?

00:28:26.200 Nope.

00:28:26.900 They just want to be better than men.

00:28:28.340 If so, why does it seem like all their TV shows and movies are all about putting men down

00:28:33.420 and propping women up as perfect?

00:28:35.560 It's normal, am I?

00:28:37.900 The only time I've been a man that last party.

00:28:40.820 Dear Lord, how do you cope with all that ego?

00:28:42.920 And if they are for equality, why oh why are they pushing the worst lesson for women possible?

00:28:49.480 Because we're supposed to make women stronger. 1.00

00:28:53.080 They're turning women into men and men into women. 1.00

00:28:55.800 And you see it in the movies.

00:28:57.020 It's brainwashing from the top. 0.96

00:28:59.780 They want to take all their power away.

00:29:01.540 They want to make men go, 1.00

00:29:02.480 and women go, 1.00

00:29:04.120 and then we make no sense.

00:29:05.960 And then nobody gets married,

00:29:07.600 nobody has kids,

00:29:08.740 and we're just confused and changing our gender.

00:29:11.300 That women don't need to be criticized. 0.96

00:29:13.480 There is so much growth that happens when we are criticized.

00:29:17.340 Yes, not all criticism we get in our lives is legitimate.

00:29:20.780 Sometimes it's born from jealousy or fear,

00:29:23.160 but criticism is necessary for growth,

00:29:25.560 for change,

00:29:26.340 for us to adapt,

00:29:27.300 and for us to excel.

00:29:28.900 Telling women that you don't need to grow, 1.00

00:29:30.940 you don't need to change.

00:29:32.060 You're perfect, queen.

00:29:34.380 Look at Morgz one more time, bro. 0.81

00:29:35.960 Tell me this does not look like 2016 Morgz.

00:29:39.460 To a team.

00:29:42.680 Oh, yeah, yeah.

00:29:43.460 I'm sorry.

00:29:43.920 I'm sorry, Morgz.

00:29:44.620 But really, bro.

00:29:45.480 Really, bro.

00:29:45.960 Really, bro.

00:29:46.400 Really, bro.

00:29:46.800 Let's be honest, man.

00:29:47.760 Like, you look...

00:29:52.760 You look...

00:30:02.060 Okay, I'm sorry.

00:30:06.180 The world owes you success.

00:30:08.040 The world needs to accommodate you. 0.95

00:30:09.980 That you can be arrogant. 0.99

00:30:11.340 You can assume that every man in your life is a sexist bigot. 0.97

00:30:14.460 And if they challenge you,

00:30:15.760 well, it's because they want to...

00:30:17.080 They're just sexist and they're trying to keep you down, queen. 1.00

00:30:19.560 Keep you down.

00:30:20.480 It's almost as if woke feminists 1.00

00:30:22.440 don't want us to be the best versions of ourselves. 0.71

00:30:24.920 But instead, be the worst versions of men.

00:30:38.700 Like all the bad things we accuse men of being. 0.99

00:30:44.920 Arrogant, bigoted, or disagreeable.

00:30:47.080 I think Brie Larson is a great example of this. 0.85

00:30:50.460 She is the true embodiment of woke feminism. 1.00

00:30:53.380 I did my stunts because I thought that that's what everyone did.

00:30:57.080 Could I get Tom Cruise over here?

00:30:58.940 No, I'm going to be the first me, not the next Tom Cruise thing.

00:31:01.700 Thank you very much.

00:31:03.340 Wow, you know.

00:31:04.240 I mean, he does his own stunts, you know.

00:31:06.020 As someone...

00:31:06.600 Ah!

00:31:13.500 Oh my god.

00:31:14.620 God. 1.00

00:31:15.760 Fuck. 1.00

00:31:16.320 Look at her. 1.00

00:31:16.860 Look at her.

00:31:17.280 Someone who is at the top of her career.

00:31:19.620 Brie Larson doesn't take the opportunity... 1.00

00:31:21.420 She reminds me just of the...

00:31:22.600 Is this your job?

00:31:24.600 Is this your life?

00:31:26.100 Is this what you do?

00:31:26.980 Same facial expressions.

00:31:28.760 As someone who is at the top of her career...

00:31:31.260 Is this your job?

00:31:32.720 Brie Larson doesn't take the opportunity to give credit to the unsung heroes of movie making

00:31:37.660 like her stunt double, but instead needs to tell everyone just how awesome she is.

00:31:42.100 Work at being the best person that I can be and...

00:31:44.700 Is that like a personal attack or something?

00:31:54.660 In closing, this is not feminism. 1.00

00:31:58.760 This is toxic femininity. 1.00

00:32:01.380 But what do I know? 0.94

00:32:02.340 I'm probably the byproduct of years of brainwashing by the patriarchy.

00:32:08.720 Thank you for tuning in, everyone.

00:32:10.720 I hope you enjoyed this video.

00:32:12.400 If you did, please give it a like and give me a subscribe and share with someone else who

00:32:17.220 might enjoy it as well.

00:32:18.300 This is the first one in many more videos where I'm going to address how...

00:32:22.080 You can just see the applause right behind this right now.

00:32:24.300 That's it.

00:32:30.260 This is your job?
