00:00:00.000 Welcome back to another episode of Stand on Guard.
00:00:03.900 I'm your host, David Creighton, and I'm broadcasting to you live from Ottawa.
00:00:09.320 Thanks for joining me this morning.
00:00:10.540 When we come back, we're going to be talking about the latest attempts by the Kearney government
00:00:14.800 to restrict your speech with more hate crimes legislation,
00:00:20.080 which is the last thing this country needs.
00:00:22.600 We'll be back momentarily.
00:00:23.660 The Prime Minister lied and his minions continue to lie.
00:00:31.760 Your home is your castle.
00:00:34.960 We're calling on the government to introduce and immediately pass the Stand on Guard law.
00:00:42.080 But we also need to resolve to resist.
00:00:44.640 Yes, please like the station, like the broadcast, subscribe, please subscribe,
00:00:58.660 and share this broadcast with your friends and your families.
00:01:02.340 I don't care if you share it with your enemies.
00:01:04.880 We need more exposure because we're not getting it from YouTube.
00:01:10.540 And having a little difficulty in the rumble this morning, but it will be up.
00:01:14.640 Today, I can promise you that.
00:01:17.260 And thank you for all your comments, by the way.
00:01:19.880 And I do go through them at night.
00:01:21.460 I wish I could answer every one of them.
00:01:23.020 I will be focusing more on comments in the coming weeks
00:01:25.680 because it's important what you're all thinking.
00:01:28.680 I really do want to know.
00:01:31.420 So I want to deal, first of all, with this odious bill.
00:01:36.080 We don't know what's called yet.
00:01:38.100 Government to Table Bill Friday, criminalizing use of certain symbols to promote hate.
00:01:42.760 Okay, what does that mean?
00:01:46.140 What does that mean?
00:01:47.820 Now, let's have a look to Toronto Star's story.
00:01:52.560 Because, of course, Toronto Star thinks this is a great idea.
00:01:55.720 And it says,
00:01:56.480 The Kearney government will introduce a hate crimes bill Friday.
00:02:01.720 Like, we don't have enough hate crimes bill.
00:02:03.540 That will include a ban on the intentional display of hate, quote, unquote, and terror, quote, unquote, symbols.
00:02:11.840 The star has learned.
00:02:13.480 The ban will target symbols of government-designated terror groups and other hate symbols like Nazi imagery.
00:02:20.000 Do you mean a swastika?
00:02:22.960 A government source said Wednesday, although they stress the law will make it clear it only applies to cases where the display is meant to show detestation or vilification towards an identifiable group,
00:02:36.340 such as Jews, Muslims, or members of the LGBTQ plus community.
00:02:41.200 All right.
00:02:45.660 I'll stop there for now.
00:02:47.840 But we're going to listen to, we'll listen to Sean Fraser talk about this in a minute.
00:02:54.840 And a presser that was completely missed by a lot of people, including this guy here.
00:03:01.720 Here's the problem with this bill of hateful symbols.
00:03:05.320 It's the same problem with hateful speech.
00:03:06.840 Who defines a hateful symbol?
00:03:08.080 And who defines when somebody is offended to the degree that that hateful symbol should be removed?
00:03:18.540 Here's a case in point.
00:03:21.280 There are literally hundreds of thousands of books written about the Second World War period and the Nazi era period that either have swastikas inside the book in pictures or on the cover.
00:03:35.660 However, are we going to have to remove all of these books from public places, such as libraries, because somebody might be offended by that imagery?
00:03:46.120 And what exactly is going to offend the LGBTQ community?
00:03:54.120 How are they going to be offended by imagery?
00:03:57.000 Well, that could be just about anything.
00:03:59.460 And of course, the problem with more hate crimes bills is the same problem with any hate crime bill.
00:04:04.920 The definition of hatred is up to anybody to define.
00:04:13.580 And we're going to have liberal judges define it.
00:04:15.720 Earlier this week, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi floated in a trial balloon the idea of criminalizing speech and creating hate speech laws just like we have in Canada.
00:04:32.720 The pushback was enormous, even though she did this in response to the horrible and savage killing of conservative icon Charlie Kirk.
00:04:46.080 But conservatives and libertarians pushed back and they said, no, the First Amendment, which guarantees free speech in the United States,
00:04:54.920 is there to protect hateful speech and speech that we don't like and speech that sounds abhorrent and demented.
00:05:03.920 It's there to protect free speech, any free speech.
00:05:08.980 And Canada has long ago strayed from the path of free speech, and it's getting worse every year in this country.
00:05:16.900 We've had hate speech laws on the books for decades.
00:05:22.680 They intensified over the years, and they've gotten worse with the Trudeau-Karney regime.
00:05:28.820 And Carney wants to shove this down your throat.
00:05:33.540 Carney is a huge advocate of hate speech laws.
00:05:37.320 He said so during the election campaign, and he's coming through with it now.
00:05:42.320 The second piece of legislation, the economy is in tatters.
00:05:46.900 I think we can all agree on that.
00:05:48.840 We're on the brink of economic catastrophe, not just because of President Donald Trump's tariffs, but because the deficit is ballooning.
00:05:57.020 The national debt is ballooning, even proportionally far beyond that of the United States.
00:06:03.920 The dollar is on the precipice of being devalued.
00:06:08.240 We are in, because we're lowering interest rates at the same time the United States is hesitating.
00:06:14.420 It's going to have a huge impact on the value of our dollar vis-a-vis the U.S. dollar.
00:06:22.300 Carney is deliberately trying to devalue the Canadian dollar.
00:06:26.720 And we know that.
00:06:27.880 And we'll get into Christy Freeland's free ride in Ukraine in a minute here.
00:06:36.020 But before I do that, I wanted to share this with you.
00:06:39.420 Because this video was sent me yesterday by Katie Passadne of the Universal Ostrich Farms in British Columbia.
00:06:47.640 They are literally waiting to see if the Supreme Court of Canada will hear their case to stop the unnecessary and barbaric killing of 399 ostriches that have been healthy for almost 300 days now.
00:07:03.280 Yes, these birds developed herd immunity to avian flu.
00:07:10.880 If the farm even attempts to prove that by testing one bird, six months in jail, $20,000 fine per bird.
00:07:27.100 Now, Katie sent me this yesterday.
00:07:29.880 The government, the federal government, the Carney liberals are deliberately trying to intimidate and instill fear into these farmers.
00:07:41.600 Now, watch this.
00:07:43.840 This is a military helicopter on...
00:07:47.620 What night are we on here?
00:07:49.740 This is Tuesday night this week.
00:07:52.240 This is incredible.
00:07:57.380 Now, these aren't orbs you're seeing.
00:08:02.480 So this is not another episode of Coastal.
00:08:06.740 This is how this farm documented what was happening here.
00:08:13.160 Because at night, military helicopters are about to come over.
00:08:17.800 Can you believe any government would treat farmers in this manner?
00:08:23.560 What are they trying to do here in the U.S.?
00:08:24.940 They're trying to tell them, get off the farm so we can come in unmolested and kill your livestock.
00:08:36.040 This is what's going on here.
00:08:37.120 Now, I don't know another democracy that was put up with this kind of delusion.
00:08:45.760 If you can see in the distance, there's one of the helicopters going.
00:08:50.500 And here come the light.
00:08:51.940 Hold the house!
00:08:53.840 This is...
00:08:54.880 They are trying to spare these people.
00:08:57.760 They're on this farm when they come in to do their dirty work.
00:09:01.720 And it's utterly shocking and appalling that this is how our government in Canada operates.
00:09:15.520 We don't have helicopters...
00:09:16.860 We don't have helicopters for the border to stop illegal immigrants from crossing the border.
00:09:26.160 But we've got helicopters to terrorize farmers.
00:09:30.400 To shine lights on their houses, on their farms, to ensure that they know the government really does need business.
00:09:39.080 And they're going to get very nasty about this.
00:09:47.840 I like it brighter and brighter.
00:09:52.200 And this is intimidation tactics by the Kearney government.
00:09:58.920 And like I say, they can't deal with issues at the border with the flow of the F drug southward, which they deny, which is coming in to Vancouver ports and is being shipped to the interior of BC for shipment across the border.
00:10:21.960 Here into the U.S.
00:10:22.980 We have a F-Tsar.
00:10:25.180 I'm going to say the word.
00:10:28.720 A Fent.
00:10:29.260 We'll put it that way.
00:10:30.080 We have a Fent Tsar who we haven't heard of.
00:10:33.360 We haven't heard from in months.
00:10:36.640 But they've got the resources to intimidate people on farms.
00:10:41.400 And this, to me, is beyond the pale.
00:10:44.960 So, you know, here are the farmers saying, well, we're going to get on our tractor or ATV.
00:10:55.640 I'm not sure exactly what they're driving there.
00:10:57.480 It's too dark to see.
00:10:58.580 We're going to shine our lights right back at you.
00:11:00.620 And that's what Katie told me they did.
00:11:04.200 They shone the lights right back on them because they're not moving.
00:11:08.300 They're not going to flee their farm.
00:11:10.340 They're not going to relinquish control of their land to the government or their ostriches to the government and run away.
00:11:19.980 So, good for you.
00:11:22.920 You're courageous.
00:11:25.060 You're not doing this just for your own farm.
00:11:27.380 You're doing this for all Canadians who long to be free.
00:11:31.040 Who long for a Canada where this sort of thing didn't happen.
00:11:36.180 Where farmers were respected.
00:11:38.820 Where agriculture was needed.
00:11:41.860 Where the state didn't think it could walk onto people's private property and steal their livelihood and their livestock.
00:11:47.520 So, good for you, Universal Ostrich Farms.
00:11:55.060 And thank you, Katie.
00:11:56.460 You'll be on the show again soon, I hope, to talk about this.
00:12:00.180 And I've told Katie, the moment anything happens on that farm, the moment it's intruded upon by so-called task forces or detachments, let me know.
00:12:11.480 We'll go live.
00:12:12.340 And she's got a lot of good media out there, including Rebel News, including Viva Fry.
00:12:19.780 And a lot of broadcasters who are very concerned about this overreach of government.
00:12:27.040 So, there you go.
00:12:28.060 Thank you again, Katie.
00:12:29.440 That's an incredible scene.
00:12:31.060 I wanted to show that to you.
00:12:32.560 I showed it last night.
00:12:34.980 I'm doing a show every Wednesday, by the way.
00:12:37.320 I want to mention this to you.
00:12:38.360 It's called The Conservative Corner.
00:12:39.960 Which I do with my friend Nico.
00:12:44.360 And we just talk about issues of interest to libertarians and conservatives, not necessarily to large C conservatives.
00:12:53.360 Sometimes we get a bit critical of the Conservative Party, but that's okay.
00:12:57.620 You have to be objective.
00:13:01.760 You have to retain your independence.
00:13:03.960 If you're on this medium and all you can do is spew propaganda in favor of one party or the other, you never question the motivation or the intentionality, then you're just taking up space.
00:13:20.840 You need to be able to say, I'm in no politician's pocket.
00:13:24.780 I'll criticize as I see fit.
00:13:26.840 But don't be a propagandist because you're not a journalist if you are.
00:13:31.320 Now, I want to get to this news conference from Sean Fraser.
00:13:35.800 This is remarkable.
00:13:37.620 This is a week old.
00:13:40.100 Nobody covered this.
00:13:41.300 Nobody covered this news conference because Sean Fraser, while he really doesn't attract a crowd.
00:13:47.400 I'll have to say that about him.
00:13:49.720 He does not attract a crowd because Sean Fraser generally has failed at every ministry he's ever been given.
00:13:59.120 But he's now the Attorney General, the Justice Minister of Canada.
00:14:04.300 God help us.
00:14:06.520 And here he is talking about his legislative agenda for the fall.
00:14:11.580 You're talking about all this legislation that you're proposing this fall.
00:14:16.300 How soon?
00:14:16.820 Do we have a date we can expect to see some of that?
00:14:18.440 We should expect to see in the very near future the legislation dealing with intimidation and instruction of those participating in their faith community, as well as hate crimes more broadly.
00:14:31.020 Next month, we anticipate we will be in a position to table the legislation touching on bail and sentencing.
00:14:38.140 But subsequently, during this parliamentary setting, depending on how.
00:14:43.220 Notice the priority here.
00:14:45.480 Before they get to bail and sentencing, they want to make sure they get their hate crimes legislation through.
00:14:51.740 Do you think it will pass?
00:14:53.300 I'm hoping and praying that Murapaliev does the right thing and opposes this.
00:14:56.620 But I'm fearful that even if he does, and even if the Conservative Party vocifously opposes this bill, it will pass with the support of the NDP and the Bloc, both of whom are pro-censorship.
00:15:11.140 So we're in a hell of a mess here.
00:15:13.740 Efficiently, the process of the House works and the collaboration of other parties to advance this legislation to get it done.
00:15:19.440 We expect to see that third piece of legislation tabled later in this parliamentary setting that would deal with intimate partner violence, protecting kids online and victims in the criminal justice process.
00:15:28.560 Great, thank you.
00:15:29.140 And just following up on your comment about some faith-based community, there have been calls from Jewish groups to create nationwide safety zones because of a rise in hate and more security protection.
00:15:38.320 Is that something you're looking at doing?
00:15:39.380 So I've had the opportunity to engage with the Jewish community over the course of the last number of months, most recently actually here in Edmonton, hosting a roundtable with members of the Jewish community locally in advance of our caucus meetings here.
00:15:51.620 We have to make sure that we can do what's within our bailiwick and that we also encourage other levels of government to take measures to improve public safety that are within theirs.
00:16:00.180 Specifically, when you're talking about specific safety zones, regulating the ability of people to be in a particular place is not something that falls to the federal government.
00:16:08.660 However, criminalizing morally culpable behavior that may take place in proximity to those institutions or elsewhere is something that we do have the authority to move forward with.
00:16:18.380 Specifically, what you should expect to see is when we're dealing with those facilities that are meant to serve an identifiable group.
00:16:26.660 Think of a synagogue for the Jewish community, a mosque, a church, but also community centers, schools, or specific places that are designed specifically for a given community.
00:16:36.380 We want to add criminal provisions that would prohibit the obstruction of those facilities and the intimidation of the people seeking to use them.
00:16:45.220 In addition, we are looking to establish new measures that would address hate more broadly that is coupled with other criminal behavior that may take place regardless of its proximity to a particular faith-based institution.
00:16:56.260 All right, he's one of the best BS artists on the Hill, and certainly within the Liberal cabinet.
00:17:05.080 Like I said, he's failed at every ministry he's ever been handed.
00:17:09.680 So what is he saying here?
00:17:11.000 We're going to protect synagogues, mosques, and even churches from what?
00:17:16.180 Intimidation?
00:17:16.780 How come the Liberal government was completely silent when Sean Foyt was in Montreal and the police literally invaded the church he was going to speak at and perform at?
00:17:28.980 Not a word from Mark Carney about this being a little bit invasive.
00:17:33.620 Not a word from Mark Carney about this violating basic freedom of religion, and that's what it did.
00:17:38.680 We don't need a law.
00:17:40.600 We don't need a new law to protect churches.
00:17:42.800 I thought we had one in the Constitution, in the Charter of Rights that protected freedom of belief, freedom of religion.
00:17:48.740 No, we don't have that.
00:17:50.620 Well, will this law protect churches from cops entering the premises and preventing people from coming in, preventing people from speaking and performing?
00:17:59.600 Will this law do that?
00:18:00.580 I doubt it very much.
00:18:02.880 Because if freedom of religion doesn't protect people from that kind of behavior and activity, no law will.
00:18:10.640 And do you think this is a government that cares a damn about Christians in this country?
00:18:15.260 Not at all.
00:18:16.880 And to tell you the truth, they only care about themselves.
00:18:20.800 This is identity politics again.
00:18:23.880 Trying to divide Christians from Jews, from Muslims, from Sikhs.
00:18:28.640 That's all this is about.
00:18:29.820 Trying to divide the faith community.
00:18:32.300 Putting them in silos.
00:18:34.420 Putting them in silos.
00:18:35.760 That's where we're going with this.
00:18:37.280 And I predict another facet of this law, if not now, eventually will be a law against proselytizing.
00:18:45.980 Because they want to keep everybody separate and they want to restrict free speech.
00:18:50.360 That's all this government is about.
00:18:52.300 Sean Fraser said more, though.
00:18:54.500 There's more.
00:18:55.300 Wait.
00:18:55.960 Don't go.
00:18:56.640 There's more.
00:18:57.980 Sean Fraser talked about reintroducing the nefarious,
00:19:01.940 the ominous, the detestable Online Harms Act, which I predicted would be renamed the Online Safety Act,
00:19:11.680 to keep it in sync with the United Kingdom, which, of course, Mark Carney is in love with.
00:19:16.300 He loves their legislation.
00:19:18.020 It's the most pro-censorship country now in the democratic world.
00:19:21.980 They are censorship-happy, throwing people in jail for what they say on social media,
00:19:29.500 throwing people who write television shows in jail for things they put on X.
00:19:38.720 But here's Sean Fraser getting to brass tacks about the Online Harms Act.
00:19:44.160 And I wish I had caught this at the time.
00:19:46.240 It's back.
00:19:47.680 The Online Harms Act is back.
00:19:49.540 And also, curious, where you got with your plans for the Online Harms Bill,
00:19:55.640 and if you have a clearer picture of what that might look like.
00:19:58.580 The legislation's been stalled for a long time, and now there are new and emerging issues,
00:20:02.400 such as harms caused by AI and online chatbots.
00:20:06.340 Certainly.
00:20:07.160 And you'll appreciate that some of the responsibilities when it comes to criminal behavior online
00:20:11.640 may fall within my legislative purview.
00:20:13.920 I hesitate to speak for some of my colleagues, notably Ministers of Heritage and Artificial Intelligence,
00:20:18.540 who I know will have something to say about their aspects of any legislative efforts that may take place in this space.
00:20:24.300 Suffice it to say, from a justice perspective, keeping our kids safe online against predators
00:20:29.380 and protecting victims of sexual exploitation online...
00:20:33.540 And to stop sexual predators.
00:20:47.260 Your law is aimed at what people think.
00:20:50.840 Your law is aimed at restricting free speech on the Internet.
00:20:55.520 That's all this is about.
00:20:56.680 This is a veneer, this is a facade, this is absolute nonsense about protecting children and victims of revenge porn,
00:21:05.460 and all of this is nothing more than an excuse to clamp down further on our free speech.
00:21:12.620 Because read the last bill, and most of the bill concerns stopping so-called hateful expression.
00:21:20.800 And once again, the liberals will define what hateful means.
00:21:28.400 It's very scary.
00:21:31.420 And this is a bill that actually had a thought crimes component that said,
00:21:35.680 if your neighbor thinks you might be thinking something hateful,
00:21:39.700 he can report you, he or she can report you, the police can put you under house arrest.
00:21:44.680 That's in the last bill.
00:21:47.520 It will be in this bill again.
00:21:49.580 Because this is an authoritarian, anti-free speech, pro-censorship, Marxist-Karney government.
00:21:57.860 And I am sick to death of this country taking away my basic foundational freedoms.
00:22:04.840 And it happens every week.
00:22:06.780 It's a key priority, and you should expect to see measures reflecting both of those public policy areas
00:22:11.360 in one of the pieces of legislation coming up this fall.
00:22:14.680 So online harms this fall?
00:22:17.440 Just to clarify, there are certain criminal behaviors online that will be the subject of some legislation.
00:22:25.060 I'm not referring to the measures that may fall within the purview of some of my parliamentary colleagues
00:22:30.420 who would have a better read of the timing of their specific areas of reform that they may wish to pursue.
00:22:35.980 So it's coming.
00:22:40.580 It's coming.
00:22:41.780 And he has indicated it's coming back.
00:22:45.400 And God help us.
00:22:47.640 Because I think it could very well pass with the support of the NDP and the bloc,
00:22:52.180 even if the Conservative Party decides to oppose it.
00:22:55.800 And they had better decide to oppose this.
00:22:58.600 Because this is integral to what this party is supposed to be about.
00:23:05.600 Protecting and defending free speech.
00:23:07.880 Remember Pierre Pauly have talked about he wants a government that minds its own business,
00:23:12.260 that doesn't tell you what to think, doesn't tell you what to say,
00:23:14.820 doesn't try to raise your kids for you.
00:23:16.380 Remember him saying that?
00:23:17.440 He said that in a very famous interview.
00:23:21.880 But he also said it last summer at the Calgary Stampede.
00:23:25.220 And I reported that widely.
00:23:27.600 As much as I could.
00:23:29.380 Because I said, thank God.
00:23:30.440 It sounds like Pierre Pauly is getting back to basics in terms of what he believes in.
00:23:36.300 I hope he's continuing to talk that way.
00:23:38.860 Now, Pierre Pauly was asked yesterday about Christy Freeland.
00:23:42.360 He did a mini news conference on Parliament Hill.
00:23:47.440 And he was asked about Christy Freeland's legacy.
00:23:50.340 So let him speak here.
00:23:52.940 But it's the reporter at the end of his news conference.
00:23:57.760 Pierre Pauly sort of walks away as she asks the question.
00:24:03.060 And I don't think he really wanted to answer the question.
00:24:06.360 But let's listen to this.
00:24:07.440 What about Christy Freeland's legacy?
00:24:10.280 Thank you.
00:24:12.680 That's a good question.
00:24:13.880 I think it was that she resigned rather than introduce that $62 billion deficit.
00:24:21.600 She said she, you know, the Liberals were trying to force her to introduce a deficit of $62 billion.
00:24:28.580 And she said, this is irresponsible.
00:24:31.600 It is out of control.
00:24:32.720 And it will cause massive inflation.
00:24:34.360 And, of course, that deficit went ahead anyway.
00:24:37.500 And now it's even bigger.
00:24:39.780 She's probably trying to get out of town and as far away as possible before this disastrous November budget comes in.
00:24:46.380 I don't blame her.
00:24:47.580 Can I ask you about Mr. Freeland's appointment today?
00:24:50.280 Do you think it's a real job?
00:24:51.380 All right.
00:24:54.520 So as he's walking away, a reporter asks him, is this job in Ukraine a real job?
00:25:01.580 Probably doesn't want to answer that question.
00:25:03.840 It's interesting, too.
00:25:04.800 He defended Christy Freeland as a principled finance minister.
00:25:09.740 No, he didn't say that.
00:25:10.720 But he suggested she couldn't accommodate this deficit.
00:25:16.640 So she left.
00:25:17.620 She resigned.
00:25:20.000 I find that unbelievable.
00:25:24.500 This was the finance minister who debanked protesters during the Freedom Convoy,
00:25:32.060 arrogantly held a news conference, said we're going to take everybody off of their bank accounts.
00:25:38.340 Not just the protesters, not just the truckers, but people who supported it financially.
00:25:45.440 You're going to be debanked.
00:25:47.260 We're going to freeze your bank accounts.
00:25:49.580 That's Christy Freeland's legacy, Pierre Polyam.
00:25:52.540 Not as a principled conservative, a principled liberal.
00:25:59.160 I'm absolutely aghast that that's his response.
00:26:03.000 The reporter says, why didn't you talk about Christy Freeland's new gig in Ukraine?
00:26:09.600 Pierre Polyam doesn't want to talk about that.
00:26:12.300 Because Pierre Polyam is 100% behind Mark Carney's policy in Ukraine.
00:26:16.640 Keep dispensing billions of dollars to a regime that's on life support.
00:26:21.440 To a regime that's very close to falling and collapsing.
00:26:24.560 Keep putting money into President Volomar Diyar Zelensky's pockets.
00:26:29.600 So he can prepare to run out of the country, fly out of the country on his private jet that's fueled and ready to go.
00:26:37.920 Yeah, keep giving him money.
00:26:39.520 Keep giving that corrupt regime more money.
00:26:41.600 Keep the war going.
00:26:43.280 And so Christy Freeland can get involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
00:26:48.820 Have a look at this.
00:26:50.320 Thank you, Andy Lee.
00:26:51.540 Who is a better reporter than most people who are getting paid for it.
00:26:58.500 She notes this here.
00:27:00.820 What's going on with Christy Freeland in Ukraine?
00:27:05.460 Why didn't Pierre Polyam bring this up?
00:27:07.100 Why doesn't Pierre Polyam want to talk about this?
00:27:09.660 Why doesn't Pierre Polyam want to talk about the fiasco, the disaster that Canadian policy vis-à-vis Ukraine is?
00:27:15.680 In other news, completely unrelated, I'm sure, to the appointment of a brand new special envoy dedicated to the reconstruction of Ukraine.
00:27:26.340 Earlier in 2025, the U.S. Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund was created.
00:27:32.020 Among the companies mentioned was a familiar Canadian one.
00:27:36.600 Okay, BlackRock.
00:27:37.420 They're the parasitical, BlackRock, number one on the list.
00:27:44.140 J.P. Morgan Chase and Company were involved in reconstruction.
00:27:49.220 Number three, Brookfield Corporation.
00:27:53.660 Does that ring a bell with anybody?
00:27:56.020 Oh, isn't that the company that Mark Carney was the chairman of?
00:28:04.160 Mark Carney admitted.
00:28:05.340 Well, no, actually, he said virtually nothing when he was confronted with the fact he has a hot three conflicts of interest.
00:28:15.640 No big deal for Mark Carney.
00:28:18.940 And reporters pushed back a bit, but not very much.
00:28:22.580 And Canadians still think, apparently, if the polls are not completely out of sync with reality, Mark Carney has almost 60% approval rating right now.
00:28:33.600 Canadians seem to think, oh, it's okay to have a prime minister with 103 different conflicts of interest.
00:28:40.500 It's okay to have a prime minister who's going to get involved, potentially, through Brookfield, in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
00:28:49.060 Well, don't hold your breath, because I don't think any of these companies are going to have anything to do with the reconstruction of Ukraine,
00:28:55.640 because they won't have the opportunity to do that.
00:28:59.580 And somebody else is going to be involved in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
00:29:03.340 And so that's the situation.
00:29:07.540 So thank you, Andy Lee, for pointing that out.
00:29:10.340 And why didn't Pierre Polyev point that out?
00:29:13.580 Why didn't Pierre Polyev raise the fact that Chrystia Freeland has not been working for Canada for 10 years?
00:29:20.360 And I had to laugh.
00:29:21.720 Former conservative leader Aaron O'Toole was on X yesterday lauding the accomplishments of Chrystia Freeland.
00:29:30.660 How much she worked for Canada.
00:29:32.780 How much she loved this country.
00:29:34.780 I'm thinking, what a sick state of affairs.
00:29:40.640 But not a word yesterday at that news conference about Chrystia Freeland going to Ukraine as a special envoy for reconstruction.
00:29:50.560 That sickens me.
00:29:52.220 I want to touch briefly here with Charlie Kirk.
00:29:57.220 We discovered this this morning.
00:29:59.220 He talked about Canada right after Mark Carney won the last election.
00:30:03.640 The liberals won the last election.
00:30:05.000 And it's quite fascinating what he says here.
00:30:07.380 And then I want to talk about how.
00:30:10.620 The forces that be are using.
00:30:13.820 The aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination to distract us from issues.
00:30:21.280 Let's listen to this.
00:30:22.340 And in Canada, we saw with the results last evening, Mr. Carney defeated the conservative insurgency, which had a massive lead just a month and a half ago.
00:30:35.360 And to be honest, President Trump's issuing of tariffs against Canada helped the liberal party in Canada.
00:30:41.100 Which, interestingly, the conservative party very well should have positioned themselves as a way to benefit from it.
00:30:49.940 But Canadian voters said, oh, Trump is a conservative, conservative party.
00:30:53.700 We want to stay liberal.
00:30:54.680 The amount of people that Canada is bringing in through mass migration will destroy Canada.
00:31:01.420 Canada is already basically destroyed.
00:31:03.600 It's a million people a year.
00:31:06.180 Canada is literally falling apart.
00:31:08.480 Its average home price is tens of thousands of dollars higher than here in America.
00:31:12.420 Even though Canada has nothing but space and lower incomes than America.
00:31:16.880 It is a choice.
00:31:19.040 And you look at now a hundred days.
00:31:21.980 A hundred days of President Trump.
00:31:23.960 The contrast and the difference.
00:31:26.000 And you should be saying your prayers of gratitude today.
00:31:28.900 Thank you, Lord, for saving us.
00:31:31.600 Thank you, Lord, for giving us the grace.
00:31:33.560 Because Canada, we are going to be neighboring a semi-Soviet country soon.
00:31:40.480 It's not an exaggeration.
00:31:42.040 We have a border.
00:31:43.980 We are putting the American worker first.
00:31:48.080 And I've always said to reporters or people on campus, Charlie, what do you disagree with President Trump on?
00:31:53.380 And I kind of jokingly but very seriously say, man, I don't want Canada as our 51st state.
00:31:58.760 Why would we want this state?
00:32:00.020 They're more to the left than even our most liberal state.
00:32:02.260 Why would we want them as our 51st state?
00:32:03.980 Why, indeed, would you want a semi-Soviet state as Charlie Kirk called Canada under Trudeau Carney?
00:32:16.480 Why would you want that as a 51st state?
00:32:19.120 Very good question.
00:32:20.960 But I want to examine for a minute here the consequences and the aftermath of Charlie Kirk's assassination.
00:32:30.000 I think this is extremely important.
00:32:33.920 Extremely important.
00:32:34.740 Because ever since, now we have at least five different variations of how Charlie Kirk was killed and who was responsible.
00:32:48.620 And I'm not going to get into that because it could go on for hours.
00:32:52.700 We have Tucker Carlson suggesting that Charlie Kirk was having a falling out with certain Zionist leaders who were big funders of his organization.
00:33:04.180 Carlson has been called an anti-Semite for daring to point that out, which is, of course, absolute nonsense.
00:33:11.460 Ted Cruz suggested that Tucker Carlson said it's all the Jews' fault.
00:33:19.040 He never said that.
00:33:21.840 And it's absolutely not.
00:33:23.620 But we're going back and forth, back and forth about, you know, whether the assassin was left-wing, right-wing, transgender, whether the assassins were from Mossad.
00:33:33.700 And, of course, this will go on forever.
00:33:37.280 And the question I always ask is, and you look at the preponderance of it.
00:33:46.600 I mean, people are going literally going crazy.
00:33:49.760 This woman here just rips up a memorial.
00:33:52.800 I'm not even going to play it because it's absolute nonsense.
00:33:55.800 But people are going stark raving mad over this.
00:34:01.800 And what's been the result?
00:34:05.000 It's been difficult to talk about.
00:34:07.880 Here's some other people going crazy here with a baseball bat.
00:34:11.300 I mean, why would you even put that on social media?
00:34:14.320 But this is.
00:34:16.840 So.
00:34:19.860 What is my point?
00:34:21.880 So while we navel gaze endlessly about who killed Charlie Kirk and who was responsible,
00:34:29.320 and we go through all the assassination theories, we're not talking about other issues.
00:34:35.800 And right now, it's almost impossible.
00:34:39.520 It's almost impossible to get Canadian news on U.S. outlets.
00:34:46.560 Now, I will be on Redacted this afternoon at 4.30 Eastern Time, talking about the crises in Canada.
00:34:56.660 I'm going to talk about the ostrich farm and how the federal government continues to threaten to kill 399 ostriches.
00:35:06.620 And I'm going to talk about the fact that we have a million people march occurring across Canada on Saturday, September 20th.
00:35:15.340 It's been very difficult to get that word out to U.S. media.
00:35:18.980 And you get out to U.S. media, of course, you're getting out to millions of Canadians who watch U.S. podcasters, U.S. broadcasters.
00:35:25.460 And that's what I have been trying to do, is to get that word out.
00:35:29.860 It's been very difficult.
00:35:32.100 But here's a question for you.
00:35:35.000 We still don't know anything about the Donald Trump assassination, the first assassination in Pennsylvania.
00:35:44.100 We don't know anything about the assassin's motive.
00:35:49.440 We don't know why he was in Washington in close proximity to FBI headquarters.
00:35:53.740 We don't know why his social media disappeared.
00:35:57.640 We don't know why he was training on the same range as the Department of Homeland Security.
00:36:04.680 We know nothing about this.
00:36:07.740 Absolutely nothing.
00:36:10.820 And think about this.
00:36:11.920 Donald Trump survived his assassination.
00:36:15.880 Not one, but two.
00:36:17.740 Donald Trump went on to become president of the United States again.
00:36:21.800 And yet we don't have any more answers because he seems to be reluctant to get those answers.
00:36:34.100 So my question is, who's in charge here?
00:36:37.240 Who's really in charge of the United States?
00:36:39.440 Is it the FBI, the CIA, and the security apparatus?
00:36:42.920 Or is it the president of the United States who doesn't seem to want the answers about why somebody tried to kill him and came that close to doing so?
00:36:54.840 I think we need those answers.
00:36:56.400 We have waited over 60 years to get answers about the assassination of John F. Kennedy, President John F. Kennedy.
00:37:05.860 And he died in that assassination attempt.
00:37:08.720 And Kennedy did not become president after him.
00:37:11.340 So the powers that be, the establishment, buried all that information.
00:37:19.220 And it took decades of ferreting from independent authors and researchers to get to the truth.
00:37:24.840 And I don't think any of you really believe that Lee Harvey Oswald, or as he was better known, Lee Oswald, actually committed the act, or was the sole shooter.
00:37:37.140 That there was no conspiracy.
00:37:39.260 We all know that now.
00:37:41.100 This was a conspiracy for various reasons.
00:37:45.320 But the point I'm making is Donald Trump survived the assassination.
00:37:49.140 Donald Trump went on to become president.
00:37:51.780 And yet we still don't have any answers.
00:37:53.400 So this could go on and on and on with Charlie Kirk in terms of who did it and why.
00:38:03.000 And the FBI already looks like they're out of their element, out of their depth again.
00:38:10.560 But my concern, once again, is that we're going to start ignoring stories that are of massive importance as we focus almost exclusively on this.
00:38:24.940 And when I say we, I'm talking about American media doing this.
00:38:28.580 Well, I was going to do the question period, but I've got to run off to a Bible study.
00:38:37.840 Yes, believe it or not.
00:38:38.700 But thanks for watching today, folks.
00:38:41.220 We need to come to terms with freedom in this country.
00:38:46.580 And I was on a radio show earlier, just a half an hour prior to coming on Saga 960 with my good friend Mark Petrol.
00:38:55.300 You know, and he said, he asked me basically to wrap up what I was saying.
00:39:00.720 I said, Canada is beyond a quick fix.
00:39:04.220 Canada is beyond mere accommodation.
00:39:08.680 It's beyond just tweaking.
00:39:14.720 We are at the point of this country breaking down.
00:39:19.060 We're at the point of losing our basic freedoms in this country.
00:39:23.040 And we need massive change, massive pushback from the official opposition.
00:39:31.140 And I hope we get to see that.
00:39:34.040 I will encourage Pierre Pauly and the Conservative Party every time they say and do the right thing.
00:39:40.600 If they fail to do that, I think we have to be critical of what they're doing.
00:39:46.720 Thanks for watching today.
00:39:47.880 It's been a pleasure.
00:39:49.260 As always, this has been David Creighton broadcasting to you live from our nation's capital.
00:39:57.280 Thanks for watching.
00:39:58.440 I'll be back again tomorrow.
00:40:04.040 Thank you.
